- 0:00Speaker 1: This is going to be like cleaning out to sound
- 0:02Speaker 1: fridge after Sound Thanksgiving.
- 0:04Speaker 2: It's one more thing.
- 0:07Speaker 3: I'm one more thing.
- 0:10Speaker 2: We ate at our This is speaking of cleaning out
- 0:16Speaker 2: the fridge. We ate our favorite Hawaiian barbecue place yesterday
- 0:21Speaker 2: after doing some back to school shopping, and I usually
- 0:26Speaker 2: only eat half of it. Now I'm on the gop one,
- 0:29Speaker 2: so I definitely only ate half of it. But so
- 0:31Speaker 2: I got the styre from container. I'm gonna take it
- 0:33Speaker 2: home and my son said, well, you can put it
- 0:34Speaker 2: in the fridge next to the one from the last time.
- 0:39Speaker 2: It's like a month ago, still in the fridge, and
- 0:42Speaker 2: I have two refrigerators, which I thought would be cool.
- 0:46Speaker 2: I rent, so it came with the house, but refrigerator
- 0:50Speaker 2: in the lawner room and then one in the kitchen.
- 0:52Speaker 2: It hasn't made me more efficient. It's just made me
- 0:55Speaker 2: collect more old food.
- 0:59Speaker 1: Than the closet principle or the attic principle. The more
- 1:03Speaker 1: storage space you have, the more crappy end up.
- 1:05Speaker 2: It's exactly like that.
- 1:07Speaker 4: Were you over exaggerating when you said it's been in
- 1:09Speaker 4: there for a month.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Oh, it's probably longer than that. I'm probably under exaggerating. Well,
- 1:13Speaker 2: I guarantee I've got food in the fridge from restaurants
- 1:17Speaker 2: that's been there maybe a year.
- 1:20Speaker 1: What looking at him like it's he's a talking dog.
- 1:27Speaker 1: I can't believe what I'm hearing.
- 1:29Speaker 2: What what not doing any harm?
- 1:32Speaker 1: What are you?
- 1:34Speaker 5: Have?
- 1:34Speaker 4: You gone nose blind?
- 1:35Speaker 6: You think? Hmm?
- 1:37Speaker 1: He had the COVID.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Oh, it's usually.
- 1:40Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:40Speaker 2: Well, if my fridge starts to smell, I throw starts
- 1:43Speaker 2: throwing stuff out, so nothing smells in.
- 1:44Speaker 4: There, you should conduct a test. I have someone over
- 1:48Speaker 4: sniff my fridge.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Well, that ain't gonna happen. I'm not having an He's
- 1:52Speaker 2: go ahead. I'm not having anybody over in my house.
- 1:54Speaker 2: That ain't happen.
- 1:55Speaker 5: I know that.
- 1:56Speaker 1: But he just confessed to having food so old it's
- 1:59Speaker 1: passed through who the stanky fan? Yeah that is now
- 2:02Speaker 1: probably petrified. Yeah, that does happen. It only stinks it
- 2:05Speaker 1: like it's like a decomposing body. There's a period of
- 2:07Speaker 1: time where it smells bad. Why do I know so
- 2:09Speaker 1: much about this? And do you have one of those
- 2:11Speaker 1: in your fridge too?
- 2:12Speaker 6: Mister Dahmer.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Wow, this is disturbing.
- 2:16Speaker 1: This is the worst thing I've ever heard.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Is bad that wasn't the best thing I ever said.
- 2:19Speaker 2: It's like a decomposing of money. But that's true. I mean,
- 2:21Speaker 2: it smells bad for a couple of days, and then
- 2:23Speaker 2: it's past the bad smell. So that's where I am
- 2:25Speaker 2: with the stuff in the fridge.
- 2:26Speaker 4: That's because it's turned into a plant at this point,
- 2:29Speaker 4: it's probably growing things.
- 2:32Speaker 1: This is weirdly similar, and then we'll get into cleaning
- 2:35Speaker 1: out the soundfridge. But a lot of guys, a lot
- 2:38Speaker 1: of golfers, the tennis players too, but a lot of
- 2:40Speaker 1: golfers get tendonitis. It's in a different place in your
- 2:43Speaker 1: elbow than tennis players. But what I found out was,
- 2:46Speaker 1: and guys get treated, they get surgery, you know, uh,
- 2:50Speaker 1: steroid shots and the rest of it. But at a
- 2:53Speaker 1: certain point, your tendon just says, you know, what to
- 2:56Speaker 1: hell with it, and it just gives up and you're
- 3:00Speaker 1: canonitis goes away. It's like the rotting body or whatever. Yeah, huh,
- 3:06Speaker 1: they are gonna try anymore. Do they ever recommend just
- 3:09Speaker 1: powering through? Well, it takes a long time. It's like
- 3:13Speaker 1: you reach a certain age and your ten and it's
- 3:15Speaker 1: like you you're an old bastard. Anyway, I'm not even
- 3:17Speaker 1: trying for you anymore.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Well, the pain is a warning of some sort, so
- 3:21Speaker 2: it says like there's no point warning you. You you know,
- 3:23Speaker 2: and you don't care. So let's exactly, let's let's agree
- 3:26Speaker 2: to disagree.
- 3:27Speaker 1: We're looking at year old wine barbecue. You could pound
- 3:30Speaker 1: a nail with this stuff. You're beyond help, that's what
- 3:33Speaker 1: you're tending to say anyway. Uh So, let's let's start
- 3:37Speaker 1: with the number seven here. This is on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
- 3:41Speaker 1: For some reason, the obnoxious, insufferable Kimmel had the obnoxious
- 3:45Speaker 1: and sufferable Rosio Donalin because Trump out turn, see what's
- 3:55Speaker 1: trumpably hues that like.
- 4:00Speaker 7: You sait and relax. Oh boy, it's great to be back.
- 4:06Speaker 7: They said you can't come home again, but here I am.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Yeah, she's now guest toasting.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Oh she's guest hosting Kimmel. Okay, well that explains a
- 4:18Speaker 2: little of why they responded to.
- 4:21Speaker 1: And that's not what they mean by you can't go
- 4:22Speaker 1: home again, Rosie, You.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Dope, fat fat Rosie. We used to have that Trump
- 4:28Speaker 2: clip long before he ever ran for president. That's back
- 4:31Speaker 2: when he was just Trump, Donald Trump, the TV star
- 4:35Speaker 2: exactly right next clip.
- 4:37Speaker 7: I haven't sat behind a desk on TV in almost
- 4:40Speaker 7: thirty years, and a lot has changed since the nineties.
- 4:43Speaker 7: Well back then, there was a war in the Middle East,
- 4:46Speaker 7: climate change was ravaging our planet. We had a president
- 4:50Speaker 7: who was embroiled in scandals. But today everything is so chill.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Wow, lazy joke. That was a really lazy yo.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Yeah, do we even want to play the next one?
- 5:05Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 5:07Speaker 2: So far, it's made me feel less alive. But you know,
- 5:10Speaker 2: she refers to.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Her daughter as they they.
- 5:16Speaker 7: I decided to move, and I took my little then
- 5:19Speaker 7: eleven year old kid with me, and I just said,
- 5:23Speaker 7: whatever you do, don't tell anyone, because we don't want
- 5:26Speaker 7: a lot of press and a lot of paparazzi, So
- 5:29Speaker 7: please don't tell anyone. And they're a pretty smart kid,
- 5:32Speaker 7: you know. They they got it. They said, don't worry,
- 5:34Speaker 7: I won't and then went to school and proceeded to
- 5:36Speaker 7: tell their entire class, I'm very sorry. I won't be
- 5:41Speaker 7: able to graduate sixth grade with you. I'm being forced
- 5:45Speaker 7: to move to another country because the President of the
- 5:49Speaker 7: United States hates my mother. But in all fairness, I
- 5:53Speaker 7: believe my mother hates him.
- 5:55Speaker 2: More. You moved your kid away from their school because
- 6:04Speaker 2: of your stupid obsession with Trump, and you need everybody
- 6:10Speaker 2: in the world to know that you hate him so much.
- 6:13Speaker 2: You moved and you drug your kid out of school
- 6:17Speaker 2: at that age somewhere else. That's an awful thing to do, Rosie.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, Well, for those of you who like me,
- 6:26Speaker 1: feel every one of those clips draining their will to live.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Good news. That's the last one.
- 6:32Speaker 2: You're so self important. You thought your gesture about leaving
- 6:36Speaker 2: the country was so important, you drug your kid out
- 6:39Speaker 2: of school and took him to another country.
- 6:41Speaker 4: God, she is just a trash human.
- 6:44Speaker 1: She is now for something completely different. He's charming, he's talented,
- 6:50Speaker 1: He's Matthew McConaughey.
- 6:52Speaker 8: What a cool, groovy little tune. It's also the reason
- 6:54Speaker 8: I quit smoking weed.
- 6:55Speaker 4: Ha ha.
- 6:57Speaker 8: Weed used to be you could roll a joint smoke
- 6:59Speaker 8: it passed around everyone and giggles gets the munchies and
- 7:01Speaker 8: maybe runs off and tries to get some snuggle time. Well,
- 7:04Speaker 8: then it started getting this hydroponic stuff where like one
- 7:07Speaker 8: token people, the subplots could become unmanageable and people would implode.
- 7:11Speaker 8: In this particular night, I was headed to my own
- 7:14Speaker 8: birthday party before I go on Buddy Hampton's Joint Goes here. Man,
- 7:17Speaker 8: it was not like the way I'd smoked before. I
- 7:20Speaker 8: listened to Janet Jackson's Best Way Love Goes Twenty four
- 7:23Speaker 8: Times Row, And when I finally got out of a
- 7:25Speaker 8: car to go into my birthday party, no one was
- 7:28Speaker 8: in there because it was over. They had all left
- 7:31Speaker 8: because I sat in the freaking car listen listen to That's.
- 7:34Speaker 4: The Way Love Goes twenty four Times because I thought
- 7:37Speaker 4: that at the.
- 7:37Speaker 8: Time that was more important than going to my own
- 7:40Speaker 8: birthday party.
- 7:41Speaker 2: That's the Way Love Goes. It's interesting that a lifetime
- 7:45Speaker 2: pot smoker like Matthew McConaughey says it's changed so much
- 7:48Speaker 2: he doesn't smoke pot anymore. That's interesting.
- 7:51Speaker 4: I should have heard that a bunch of times from
- 7:53Speaker 4: some og potheads.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Yeah. I stuck my son about that.
- 7:57Speaker 6: Yeah, absolutely true.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Speaking of smoking hot, this is an absolutely charming blast
- 8:02Speaker 1: from the past.
- 8:04Speaker 9: It happened at White Lake this weekend may have been
- 8:07Speaker 9: more than an uncontrolled outpouring of hip young people, struggling
- 8:10Speaker 9: as they did to survive first the twenty mile traffic
- 8:13Speaker 9: jams and five mile hikes, then the intense heat and
- 8:17Speaker 9: sudden rain, the thirst and hunger from the shortage of
- 8:20Speaker 9: water and food, just for the opportunity to spend a
- 8:23Speaker 9: few days in the country getting stoned on their drugs
- 8:27Speaker 9: and grooving on the music. So that what was learned
- 8:29Speaker 9: at White Lake was not that hundreds of thousands of
- 8:32Speaker 9: people can paralyze an area and break the law, but
- 8:35Speaker 9: that in an emergency at least people of all ages
- 8:38Speaker 9: are capable of compassion. And while such a spectacle may
- 8:42Speaker 9: never happen again, it has recorded the growing proportions of
- 8:46Speaker 9: this youthful culture in the mind of adult America.
- 8:49Speaker 3: Walker.
- 8:50Speaker 6: And that's the way it.
- 8:51Speaker 4: Is Oney August eighteenth, nineteen sixty nine.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Would Stock, of course, what they're talking about.
- 8:57Speaker 2: What an overrated event in a American history. Yes, musically great,
- 9:03Speaker 2: but in terms of it mattering the way it was
- 9:07Speaker 2: taught to me, including actually in college in a class
- 9:10Speaker 2: I took called rock and Roll the History of rock
- 9:12Speaker 2: and roll, like it is like it was the moon
- 9:14Speaker 2: landing or something well more important than that. It'd be
- 9:19Speaker 2: more like the founding fathers coming up with the way
- 9:21Speaker 2: to craft the country Woodstock whatever freaking hippies hippies ruined America.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Wow, Wow, that's some good stuff there. It was a
- 9:31Speaker 1: giant music festival that was out of control because it
- 9:35Speaker 1: was poorly organized. Was it a coming together of something something?
- 9:39Speaker 1: And then it rained and everybody's hungry and they shared
- 9:42Speaker 1: and people were nice to each other, Like the nice
- 9:44Speaker 1: reporter guy said, yeah, that's super, but it amounted to
- 9:48Speaker 1: virtually nothing. But again, musically fantastic. But you know, youth youth.
- 9:55Speaker 4: Pretty if you're trying to explain Woodstock. There's a pretty
- 9:57Speaker 4: good documentary about it on Netflix. It was actually interesting.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Oh I believe it.
- 10:02Speaker 5: I believe it.
- 10:04Speaker 2: I just it wasn't an important event in the history
- 10:09Speaker 2: of our country. That's my only thing I say.
- 10:13Speaker 1: You know what was it was the climax of the
- 10:15Speaker 1: early days of media realizing they could get they could
- 10:18Speaker 1: sell copies of stuff by sell by writing about youth
- 10:22Speaker 1: culture quote unquote I always talk about not always, but
- 10:26Speaker 1: I'll occasionally comment when we're talking about the latest team,
- 10:31Speaker 1: we lost you, we lost you.
- 10:34Speaker 2: You ain't on.
- 10:40Speaker 6: Oh there you are my back again.
- 10:42Speaker 4: Yeah, you're back back.
- 10:43Speaker 1: We can just start from her.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Continue that's friggin where and pick it up wherever you
- 10:47Speaker 2: owned a, yeah, that's so odd. Maybe after I've talked
- 10:53Speaker 2: about this before or whatever.
- 10:54Speaker 4: All Right, I always talk about this, well, I don't
- 10:56Speaker 4: always that part was okay.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Yeah, how back.
- 11:01Speaker 1: In the day, I never would have been exposed to
- 11:03Speaker 1: teen slang.
- 11:05Speaker 2: I never would have heard it.
- 11:07Speaker 1: I wouldn't have been aware of it. But now you
- 11:10Speaker 1: know what the the nine year olds are saying makes
- 11:13Speaker 1: every freaking publication website.
- 11:16Speaker 4: I don't care.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Speaking of that. I heard the story that polyester is
- 11:20Speaker 2: the hot new term yeah for young people, like five
- 11:23Speaker 2: times in the last twenty four hours, which almost guarantees
- 11:26Speaker 2: you that young people aren't saying it. The fact that
- 11:29Speaker 2: it made it to Fox and Friends is the guarantee
- 11:31Speaker 2: that high schoolers aren't actually saying it anymore.
- 11:34Speaker 4: There's there's one bit of slang that is making my
- 11:37Speaker 4: skin crawl, and it's ranging into people probably in their
- 11:41Speaker 4: like late twenties, early thirties, as well as when somebody
- 11:44Speaker 4: says bet.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Uh oh, my kids do that a lot. Oh that's
- 11:49Speaker 2: a big one.
- 11:50Speaker 4: Hey, is that it's like, yeah, you got it, bet
- 11:56Speaker 4: yeah again, thank you.
- 11:57Speaker 2: It's fine.
- 11:58Speaker 4: It's just you know, every time time it's not fine,
- 12:01Speaker 4: tell them to stop.
- 12:03Speaker 1: With her would not change, Michael number fourteen place.
- 12:09Speaker 4: Now they're ice fishing because everything is frozen and you're
- 12:14Speaker 4: looking for fat and the beaver.
- 12:15Speaker 1: Yeah, the beaver is the beaver is.
- 12:18Speaker 4: The most sought after.
- 12:20Speaker 3: It is.
- 12:22Speaker 2: Right right? Would you do you think you could eat beaver?
- 12:28Speaker 7: It's fat and then it's neat?
- 12:35Speaker 1: Wow? Is that some local TV station?
- 12:37Speaker 6: Mike, Yeah, it is.
- 12:38Speaker 4: They're doing a uh story on a you hunt wildlife
- 12:42Speaker 4: and beaver meat is you know, popular?
- 12:44Speaker 2: And so yeah, like where did that air? Where they
- 12:46Speaker 2: were Detroit? It was like, good morning Detroit. Wow, good
- 12:49Speaker 2: morning Detroit's willing to make those kind of beaver jokes.
- 12:52Speaker 3: Yeah, childish kind of change. When I was at all
- 12:56Speaker 3: during that, when I was Colby Community College in Colby,
- 13:02Speaker 3: Kansas in the radio.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Program, one of the other guys was doing a basketball
- 13:06Speaker 2: announcing for our community college basketball team, and he was
- 13:10Speaker 2: the lead announcer, and then the cheerleaders walked in during
- 13:13Speaker 2: the game and said, and here comes he said, here
- 13:16Speaker 2: comes the Beefer Patrol. And he got in so much
- 13:19Speaker 2: trouble for that.
- 13:20Speaker 6: Oh wow, well that's indelicate.
- 13:24Speaker 5: I just thought, don't want a stupid thing to say,
- 13:26Speaker 5: you know how this is going to turn out. He
- 13:28Speaker 5: was just he refused to play by any rules, like
- 13:34Speaker 5: and it's not like and that's why he became a giant. No,
- 13:36Speaker 5: he never was able to make it in the industry
- 13:39Speaker 5: because he refused to do anything he was supposed to do.
- 13:41Speaker 2: I actually hired him at the radio station when I
- 13:43Speaker 2: was the boss one time, and he would not play
- 13:45Speaker 2: the music you was supposed to play. I'm gonna play
- 13:47Speaker 2: whatever I want. Okay, Well, then you can't work here?
- 13:49Speaker 2: Are you freaking idiot?
- 13:50Speaker 1: He couldn't find the line, couldn't he didn't even care. Wow,
- 13:54Speaker 1: all right, a couple more real quick, let's see. Oh,
- 13:57Speaker 1: let's go ahead with seventeen Michael. This is Johnny Bilasario
- 14:01Speaker 1: who does this for Fox Now? And again? Who is
- 14:04Speaker 1: Donald Trump's Vice president?
- 14:07Speaker 2: Am I supposed to know this? I couldn't tell you.
- 14:09Speaker 2: Don't pay attention.
- 14:10Speaker 4: I couldn't tell you.
- 14:10Speaker 2: I don't know J. JK.
- 14:12Speaker 7: Relling.
- 14:14Speaker 2: Name the three branches of government?
- 14:17Speaker 1: Congress, Conservative, Republican, Democrat.
- 14:22Speaker 7: Give me a hint.
- 14:23Speaker 4: I don't know jew Jewish.
- 14:26Speaker 2: What is the first Amendment of the Constitution?
- 14:28Speaker 8: I have no idea free will?
- 14:30Speaker 2: What is the second Amendment of the Constitution?
- 14:34Speaker 4: The right to vote.
- 14:37Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 14:38Speaker 1: I have no idea.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Now, who were these kids in theory.
- 14:42Speaker 4: They were just students out on the beach.
- 14:43Speaker 2: But their college kids. Yeah, so they got into a college.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Yeah. Or we're of that age. If you're a voting age,
- 14:52Speaker 1: you ought to know what the branches of the government
- 14:54Speaker 1: and the First Amendment are free.
- 14:57Speaker 2: Who will is the First Amendment?
- 15:00Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 15:00Speaker 2: I don't. I don't actually remember what I knew and
- 15:04Speaker 2: didn't know when I was that age. Maybe I'm giving
- 15:07Speaker 2: myself to credit too much credit. I don't know, but
- 15:09Speaker 2: I know I could have told you the three branches
- 15:11Speaker 2: a government. I know I could have told you what
- 15:14Speaker 2: the First Amendment was. I know I could have named
- 15:16Speaker 2: the vice president at any point in my life since
- 15:18Speaker 2: I was five.
- 15:20Speaker 1: I just wow, yeah, wow, Katie, would you like to
- 15:25Speaker 1: set up eighteen?
- 15:27Speaker 4: Sure? So there's this thing going around online where parents
- 15:31Speaker 4: are holding up a role of like packing tape, and
- 15:35Speaker 4: they pull a strip off of it and for some
- 15:37Speaker 4: reason that noise really makes babies laugh.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Wow.
- 15:42Speaker 6: Okay, that was awesome, I promise.
- 16:12Speaker 4: Second, Oh, go ahead, I'll say the second that Van
- 16:16Speaker 4: finds his laugh, I will be I will be doing
- 16:18Speaker 4: this with my son.
- 16:20Speaker 1: I was gonna say, I remember accidentally, in many cases,
- 16:23Speaker 1: discovering that sort of thing when my kids were babies
- 16:26Speaker 1: and just being amazed by it and thinking, I'm the
- 16:30Speaker 1: greatest comedian that's ever lived.
- 16:32Speaker 2: When you stumble across the thing that tickles them and
- 16:35Speaker 2: you just keep doing it and they keep laughing like that,
- 16:37Speaker 2: like they can't hardly breathe, they're laughing so hard. It's
- 16:41Speaker 2: so awesome.
- 16:42Speaker 1: And the feeling you get if they if they could
- 16:44Speaker 1: make that into a drug, we would all die of
- 16:46Speaker 1: addiction to it. Yeah, because that feeling is so incredible. Yeah,
- 16:50Speaker 1: then you.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Try it when they're seventeen and doesn't work. There's nothing
- 16:54Speaker 2: I could do that could amuse my sixteen year old.
- 16:57Speaker 1: What are you doing with that tape? Dad? That's stupid.
- 17:04Speaker 4: Well, I guess that's it.
