- 0:00Speaker 1: Scrubbing in with Becca Tilly and Tanya Radd, an iHeartRadio
- 0:04Speaker 1: and two-time People's Choice Award-winning podcast.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Hello, everybody.
- 0:13Speaker 3: You think I wasn't there? We are scrubbing in. Was
- 0:18Speaker 3: that like a little tease?
- 0:19Speaker 4: Yeah, I was just trying to be a little giggly,
- 0:21Speaker 4: a little silly.
- 0:21Speaker 3: A little tease for the people?
- 0:23Speaker 4: Yeah, a little silly puss today.
- 0:25Speaker 3: A little silly puss.
- 0:26Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Don't bleep that out, Mark.
- 0:30Speaker 3: Bleep what?
- 0:32Speaker 4: Filly puss.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Why?
- 0:35Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 0:38Speaker 4: I can just see him bleeping it out. Mark gets
- 0:40Speaker 4: really willy-nilly with the bleeps over there.
- 0:42Speaker 5: In this context, it should be bleeping.
- 0:43Speaker 3: Let it slide.
- 0:44Speaker 4: Yeah, let it slide. FCC, see ya.
- 0:48Speaker 3: FCC, yeah. Oh, no.
- 0:53Speaker 4: Yeah, it's going to be one of those days.
- 0:54Speaker 3: Did you have an early morning?
- 0:58Speaker 4: Um, I wouldn't say like particularly early, but I did have,
- 1:01Speaker 4: so I tried to film another like get ready with
- 1:03Speaker 4: me this morning.
- 1:04Speaker 3: Oh, like my five to nine.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Yeah, one of those.
- 1:08Speaker 4: And, um, it made me late. So I didn't enjoy
- 1:12Speaker 4: that because then I was very frazzled, like getting in
- 1:15Speaker 4: and all for the love of the sport, you know?
- 1:18Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. For... Some views and clicks and likes.
- 1:22Speaker 4: I didn't get to finish my morning pages this morning.
- 1:25Speaker 4: I only did one page and a half.
- 1:27Speaker 3: Were you able to do your dates last week?
- 1:29Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:30Speaker 3: What'd you do?
- 1:31Speaker 4: So I did what it told me to. I went
- 1:32Speaker 4: to the store and I bought myself some stickers to
- 1:34Speaker 4: like say good job during the week.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Oh, but did you do your date, like your solo date?
- 1:39Speaker 4: That was my solo date.
- 1:40Speaker 3: I thought you were doing two.
- 1:41Speaker 4: No, I only did one.
- 1:42Speaker 3: I haven't done anything. Go back to Tilly! It's bad,
- 1:45Speaker 3: you guys. It's too hard.
- 1:47Speaker 4: We have 12 weeks. We're going to be changed women
- 1:50Speaker 4: come December 14th. I need you on board.
- 1:52Speaker 3: Well, you only have 11 weeks. I have 12, because
- 1:55Speaker 3: I need to start over.
- 1:56Speaker 4: I'm starting week three now.
- 1:58Speaker 3: Oh, then you have.
- 2:00Speaker 4: What's 12 minus three?
- 2:01Speaker 2: Nine.
- 2:02Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, something like that. Anyways, I did listen to, oh,
- 2:07Speaker 3: you know what I did do this weekend?
- 2:09Speaker 4: No, I just need everybody to get on board that
- 2:11Speaker 4: Becca needs to get back on The Artist's Way. This
- 2:13Speaker 4: is to help us elevate the podcast. This is us
- 2:16Speaker 4: to help elevate our lives. It's to make 2027 not
- 2:19Speaker 4: as 2026. We have to push through. If it doesn't
- 2:24Speaker 4: make you uncomfortable, if it's not going to challenge you,
- 2:26Speaker 4: it's not going to change you.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Wow.
- 2:28Speaker 3: And that's true. And that's true. Tanya used to chant
- 2:30Speaker 3: that when we would do the sauna sessions together and
- 2:33Speaker 3: it'd be the last two minutes. And she would imagine
- 2:35Speaker 3: you're sweating, fighting for your life, just trying to survive.
- 2:40Speaker 3: And all you can hear in your ear is what
- 2:41Speaker 3: doesn't challenge you doesn't change you. If it doesn't challenge you,
- 2:44Speaker 3: it doesn't change you for like two minutes straight. I
- 2:47Speaker 3: was right. Yeah, I guess it's true. But can I
- 2:51Speaker 3: tell you what I did do this weekend? Oh, I
- 2:54Speaker 3: was going to also tell you, so I, in my journey,
- 2:57Speaker 3: in my attempt to do The Artist's Way, they have
- 3:00Speaker 3: a 365-day version, right? So you do a day, you
- 3:03Speaker 3: read something every day and you do whatever that task is.
- 3:06Speaker 3: And I thought maybe this will be more.
- 3:08Speaker 4: Yeah, I can't do 12 weeks, but 365 days, let
- 3:11Speaker 4: me sign up for it.
- 3:12Speaker 3: But instead of like doing a chapter per week, you
- 3:14Speaker 3: just do one page like per day. So it's like
- 3:18Speaker 3: split up more. I'm just telling you. I thought maybe
- 3:21Speaker 3: I could try that version. See if it helps just
- 3:24Speaker 3: my ADHD brain. I haven't been diagnosed.
- 3:27Speaker 4: I think you can do this.
- 3:29Speaker 3: No, I can. I can do anything I put my
- 3:31Speaker 3: mind to.
- 3:32Speaker 4: So why don't you put your mind to this?
- 3:34Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 3:35Speaker 4: You're not just letting yourself down. You're letting me down now.
- 3:37Speaker 3: I know, and I hate that. I hate letting you
- 3:39Speaker 3: down more than myself, which has actually been a problem
- 3:42Speaker 3: my whole life, is that I care more about letting
- 3:44Speaker 3: people down than myself.
- 3:46Speaker 4: But let that be a bridge to get you to
- 3:51Speaker 4: where you need to be.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:53Speaker 3: Well, it's interesting because I'm battling... My whole journey of
- 3:58Speaker 3: trying to grow is not being a people pleaser. So
- 4:02Speaker 3: it conflicts with these two things conflict. So anyways, what
- 4:08Speaker 3: would you like for me to do? Just start over?
- 4:10Speaker 4: No, I'd like you to start where you stopped, pick
- 4:12Speaker 4: back up.
- 4:13Speaker 3: Okay, so week one.
- 4:15Speaker 4: Finish week one and do week two and week three
- 4:18Speaker 4: in one week.
- 4:19Speaker 3: Okay, that's not going to happen.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Why?
- 4:22Speaker 3: Because I didn't even do one chapter in one week.
- 4:25Speaker 4: Chapters are so if you sat down on a Saturday
- 4:27Speaker 4: and didn't get out of bed till noon, you could
- 4:28Speaker 4: do three chapters. They're not that hard.
- 4:31Speaker 3: It just feels like squeezing something that's supposed to be
- 4:34Speaker 3: spaced out into one day.
- 4:35Speaker 4: You know, we do what we got to do.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Okay.
- 4:38Speaker 4: It might not be the artist's way, but it's Becca
- 4:40Speaker 4: Tilly's way.
- 4:41Speaker 3: It sounds like more like Tanya's way. What this is
- 4:45Speaker 3: sounding like is Tanya's way.
- 4:45Speaker 4: Whatever is going to get it done.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Okay.
- 4:47Speaker 4: That's the way I choose.
- 4:48Speaker 3: I see. I see. Well, this weekend I did do
- 4:51Speaker 3: something that was very Tanya like, which was I, on Saturday,
- 4:56Speaker 3: I guess there was a new moon. And so I wrote,
- 4:58Speaker 3: I did like, we did manifestations on dissolvable paper. So
- 5:03Speaker 3: we wrote them out and then we dissolved them. We,
- 5:06Speaker 3: we like reread them and then we put them in
- 5:09Speaker 3: the water. What water? What do you mean?
- 5:12Speaker 4: What water did you put them in?
- 5:14Speaker 3: Just like a bowl of water.
- 5:15Speaker 4: Oh, in your house. Okay. You didn't go to like
- 5:16Speaker 4: the L.A. River?
- 5:18Speaker 2: No. Okay.
- 5:19Speaker 3: The L.A.
- 5:20Speaker 2: River.
- 5:20Speaker 3: Actually, we got some rain. I could have left it
- 5:22Speaker 3: just outside and let it, the rain dissolve it. And
- 5:26Speaker 3: then I put it on the plants, which I don't
- 5:27Speaker 3: know if the ink from the pen was good for
- 5:29Speaker 3: the plants, but it felt like I was resoiling.
- 5:31Speaker 4: Yeah, feel ceremonial.
- 5:32Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. So I did do that. And I put
- 5:34Speaker 3: some things in there that I want to do through
- 5:37Speaker 3: the artist's way. So maybe those will inspire the artist's
- 5:41Speaker 3: way to continue.
- 5:42Speaker 4: I got to crack the code with you on how
- 5:44Speaker 4: to get you to do this.
- 5:46Speaker 3: I genuinely need to see a psychologist or something. Maybe
- 5:51Speaker 3: your dad can help me.
- 5:52Speaker 2: I'm sure he could.
- 5:53Speaker 4: He's got time on his hands.
- 5:54Speaker 3: I'm sure he'd love the project. I don't know what
- 5:59Speaker 3: it is. There's something about not liking being told how
- 6:05Speaker 3: to do something or what to do. I also, you
- 6:08Speaker 3: have to remember that my life, like my job and stuff,
- 6:11Speaker 3: there's no routine, which I think isn't good.
- 6:13Speaker 4: I know, but this could help bring routine into your
- 6:16Speaker 4: daily life.
- 6:17Speaker 3: Right.
- 6:18Speaker 4: You wake up, you do your pages, and immediately after
- 6:21Speaker 4: you finish your pages, you do two or three pages
- 6:23Speaker 4: of reading of the chapter.
- 6:24Speaker 3: So do you not eat before?
- 6:27Speaker 4: My pages?
- 6:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:28Speaker 4: No, I do them first thing in the morning.
- 6:30Speaker 3: Gosh, that's crazy. By the time I'm ready to get up,
- 6:33Speaker 3: I'm hungry. Yeah.
- 6:35Speaker 4: Maybe get up a little bit before you usually do. Yeah,
- 6:39Speaker 4: so whatever time you normally wake up, like 9 o'clock?
- 6:41Speaker 3: Yeah. No, I wake up earlier than that.
- 6:44Speaker 2: 8.30?
- 6:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I would say like 8 to 8.30.
- 6:46Speaker 4: Let's set our alarm for 7.
- 6:49Speaker 3: Yes. No shot.
- 6:51Speaker 4: Let's create a little bit of routine in your life.
- 6:54Speaker 3: That's crazy.
- 6:55Speaker 4: I think it's good for you.
- 6:56Speaker 3: It is good for me. I just have to do it.
- 6:59Speaker 4: You did something else this weekend, too.
- 7:01Speaker 3: I did. What did I do?
- 7:03Speaker 4: You got bangs.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Oh, my God. Why would you bring it up? Friday. Okay, I...
- 7:09Speaker 3: The first part of this story is really funny because
- 7:12Speaker 3: I got these clip-on bangs from Amazon, and I posted
- 7:16Speaker 3: a video. Well, I posted a story of this, but
- 7:18Speaker 3: it's also on my TikTok, so it lives forever. And
- 7:22Speaker 3: basically someone, because I was talking about getting bangs, and
- 7:24Speaker 3: someone was like, actually, Tori, who used to work on
- 7:27Speaker 3: the podcast, she goes, you should order the clip-on bangs
- 7:30Speaker 3: and see if you like them. And I'm like, no,
- 7:32Speaker 3: I've seen this before. Those are not the type of
- 7:34Speaker 3: bangs I'm looking to get, so I don't think it'd
- 7:35Speaker 3: be a fair... Assessment. Assessment. So I was like, maybe
- 7:39Speaker 3: I'll get them. These looked more like the style I
- 7:41Speaker 3: was wanting to get. And so I ordered them and
- 7:44Speaker 3: then they came and I clipped on and they were
- 7:46Speaker 3: so bad. So bad.
- 7:48Speaker 5: I loved them.
- 7:49Speaker 3: There's no way.
- 7:50Speaker 5: Allison and I both loved those bangs.
- 7:52Speaker 4: That's crazy because they looked, she looked like Shirley from
- 7:58Speaker 4: Shirley's World. Who's Shirley's World?
- 8:01Speaker 3: I don't know. No, it was bad.
- 8:03Speaker 5: I love Shirley's World, and that's why I loved Becca's bangs.
- 8:06Speaker 5: I'm sincere. I'm not trying to be a troll. I
- 8:08Speaker 5: really loved them.
- 8:10Speaker 3: There were some people that were like, wait, I actually
- 8:12Speaker 3: like them. Am I okay?
- 8:14Speaker 4: It made me realize how beautiful Dakota Johnson is when
- 8:17Speaker 4: I saw how Becca looked.
- 8:19Speaker 3: Tanya literally said, this made me realize how beautiful Dakota
- 8:21Speaker 3: Johnson was. And I was like, you're such a little...
- 8:24Speaker 3: Word that I can't say on this podcast. All my friends, like,
- 8:29Speaker 3: I would say I have a few friends that are
- 8:31Speaker 3: genuinely just, like, so sweet and, like, complimentary. But I've
- 8:35Speaker 3: noticed my friend group as a whole are not, like, super, like,
- 8:38Speaker 3: we'll troll each other.
- 8:41Speaker 4: Because Dakota Johnson to me is beautiful and if she
- 8:44Speaker 4: could be that beautiful with those did you see her.
- 8:47Speaker 3: Blow up though yes the blow up because.
- 8:49Speaker 4: Of the bangs well other things as well but yeah but.
- 8:52Speaker 3: The bangs were like yeah but.
- 8:53Speaker 4: I mean there was there was other things but yes
- 8:56Speaker 4: but like imagine if she didn't have those bangs it
- 8:58Speaker 4: I don't even think I could look she'd be like
- 9:00Speaker 4: looking at the sun like I wouldn't be able to
- 9:01Speaker 4: like look at her you've seen her without the bangs
- 9:03Speaker 4: though I have when like Four years ago. She didn't
- 9:07Speaker 4: have bangs four years ago?
- 9:08Speaker 3: Look at her in 2012. Look at her in 2012.
- 9:11Speaker 3: 2012 was not four years ago.
- 9:14Speaker 4: She was like a child in 2012.
- 9:15Speaker 3: This is.
- 9:19Speaker 5: Like Ella Langley with no bangs.
- 9:20Speaker 4: Wait, what year was that?
- 9:21Speaker 5: This is from, let's see. Sorry, this is like a.
- 9:28Speaker 3: This is on.
- 9:31Speaker 4: Yeah. As long as I've known Dakota Johnson in her
- 9:34Speaker 4: adult life, she's had bangs.
- 9:36Speaker 3: Okay. She didn't have bangs in Fifty Shades of Grey,
- 9:39Speaker 3: which is 2018. That's a long time ago. Yeah.
- 9:43Speaker 4: Eight years. Almost ten.
- 9:44Speaker 3: A decade. Right.
- 9:45Speaker 4: Oh, wow. The bangs look better on her.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:49Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying. I think some people's face, the bangs, like,
- 9:53Speaker 3: enhance and compliment. They don't do that for me. So
- 9:56Speaker 3: I go to get my hair cut, and i oh
- 9:59Speaker 3: the problem was i had tried to like trim my
- 10:01Speaker 3: own and it had gone awry and then i thought
- 10:05Speaker 3: i'm just gonna do it and so i got them
- 10:07Speaker 3: but you can't really see because i haven't slept to
- 10:08Speaker 3: the side but it's not good could.
- 10:11Speaker 4: You sweep them more to like bangy well they're super long.
- 10:15Speaker 3: Like, so they'd be here. So I don't want to cut, like,
- 10:18Speaker 3: I need them to grow out as fast as possible.
- 10:20Speaker 3: But anyways, so I get home and I'm in the
- 10:25Speaker 3: car already spiral. You know, I'm like, what did I do?
- 10:28Speaker 5: Gosh.
- 10:29Speaker 3: And obviously this is such a, like, first world problem.
- 10:31Speaker 3: There's bigger issues. But when it's your hair, and everyone
- 10:34Speaker 3: told me, don't do it. You're going to spiral. I
- 10:36Speaker 3: didn't listen. I did what I wanted. And I get
- 10:40Speaker 3: home and Haley comes in and I'm like, don't come
- 10:42Speaker 3: in here. I got bangs. She comes in and she goes,
- 10:47Speaker 3: and then I got mad. I was like, get out.
- 10:51Speaker 3: And she was, no, you look beautiful. And I was like,
- 10:53Speaker 3: get out. I don't want to talk to you. Got
- 10:56Speaker 3: like genuinely upset. And so then my sister was staying
- 11:00Speaker 3: with us and she and Marla came over and they
- 11:02Speaker 3: had picked up food. And I hear Haley going, don't
- 11:04Speaker 3: say anything about her face. It's like a TV show.
- 11:10Speaker 3: I come in the room, and I hear her whispering
- 11:12Speaker 3: to them at the door, like, don't say anything about her.
- 11:13Speaker 3: She cut her bangs. Don't say anything about her bangs.
- 11:15Speaker 3: And so I'm like, don't say anything about my bangs.
- 11:19Speaker 3: It was bad. Scary. Oh, my gosh.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:23Speaker 3: I've since calmed down. Yeah. But, like, not fully. I
- 11:28Speaker 3: think they look great. They're fine. I mean, right now,
- 11:31Speaker 3: it's just they look like they're fine. Semi-normal.
- 11:35Speaker 4: But you know what? Now you know. At least now
- 11:37Speaker 4: you know you don't like them. Hair grows. They'll grow out.
- 11:40Speaker 4: And at least you scratch that itch. You don't have
- 11:42Speaker 4: to scratch it anymore.
- 11:43Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 11:43Speaker 4: You know?
- 11:43Speaker 3: And that's also what I told myself. Yeah. In my manifestation. Yes.
- 11:48Speaker 4: You just scratch the itch and now you can move forward.
- 11:51Speaker 3: But let's move on past the bangs because that was
- 11:55Speaker 3: a low. And let's get to the high of what
- 11:59Speaker 3: we're doing this week.
- 12:01Speaker 4: Oh my gosh. And there's a plethora of things to
- 12:04Speaker 4: talk about when it comes to that subject, AKA the
- 12:06Speaker 4: first bullet on this piece of paper. Thank you. Yeah.
- 12:09Speaker 4: Is it plethora?
- 12:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:11Speaker 4: Yeah. Also we said endocrine. Is it endocrine?
- 12:14Speaker 3: What is it?
- 12:14Speaker 5: Endocrine, right?
- 12:15Speaker 4: It's endocrine. I said endocrine disruptor on the podcast. And
- 12:19Speaker 4: everybody was like, I was cringing and Becca and Mark didn't, um,
- 12:23Speaker 4: didn't correct her. I'm like, yeah, cause They're both idiots too.
- 12:29Speaker 3: One thing about us in this room, we all got
- 12:33Speaker 3: four singular brain cells working too hard. Bunch of idiots.
- 12:39Speaker 2: So what is it?
- 12:39Speaker 4: It's endocrine?
- 12:41Speaker 5: Endocrine.
- 12:42Speaker 3: I have to say, can I be honest? I've only
- 12:44Speaker 3: seen it typed. I don't think I've heard anyone say it.
- 12:46Speaker 3: And I thought it was endocrine.
- 12:47Speaker 4: Many people say endocrine. So a lot of people online
- 12:50Speaker 4: are saying it wrong as well.
- 12:51Speaker 3: You know what? One thing I'm trying to lean into
- 12:53Speaker 3: is learning. Like not like just being like, oh, okay.
- 12:57Speaker 3: Like not like being hard on myself for not knowing
- 12:59Speaker 3: it's endocrine, but just being like, oh, now I know.
- 13:01Speaker 3: Now I know moving forward. Now I know too.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:04Speaker 3: Learning words. Every time I do Wordle, I'm like, I
- 13:06Speaker 3: feel dumb that I don't know a word. And I'm like,
- 13:08Speaker 3: but I learned it.
- 13:09Speaker 4: Here's the thing about me.
- 13:10Speaker 3: You don't read.
- 13:11Speaker 4: I don't feel dumb. I just know what I know.
- 13:14Speaker 4: And I go as I go. It's really a nice
- 13:18Speaker 4: way to live.
- 13:18Speaker 3: You don't watch people speak sometimes and go, sometimes I
- 13:21Speaker 3: watch people speak and I'm like, wow, that level of,
- 13:25Speaker 3: that's such a skill to speak like. Have you ever
- 13:27Speaker 3: watched Eileen Gu speak? I can't say that I have.
- 13:33Speaker 3: She is such an inspiring person in terms of wanting things.
- 13:39Speaker 3: To learn how to, there's no filler words. She just,
- 13:43Speaker 3: she's so intelligent. It's inspiring. And it could never be me, really.
- 13:47Speaker 3: Could be you. Yeah, it could be. Could be. Maybe
- 13:51Speaker 3: my journey after The Artist's Way is becoming a prolific speaker.
- 13:55Speaker 3: But then I feel like I'd have to take classes.
- 13:57Speaker 3: I don't like speaking in front of people. I don't
- 13:59Speaker 3: like talking in front of people.
- 14:00Speaker 4: You just learn the tricks and then you practice them
- 14:02Speaker 4: in real life. Okay.
- 14:04Speaker 3: Maybe get a tutor. Okay. Thanks for the advice. Oh, okay.
- 14:10Speaker 3: So what the exciting thing that we're doing, maybe we
- 14:13Speaker 3: should take a break. Oh my gosh. Yeah, we should actually.
- 14:17Speaker 3: Great teaser. All right. We'll be right back.
- 14:22Speaker 2: We're back. We're back.
- 14:39Speaker 3: Oh, I forgot to tell you the other day someone
- 14:42Speaker 3: said that they were listening to the podcast and they
- 14:44Speaker 3: said your laugh sounds like an owl.
- 14:46Speaker 4: What does an owl sound like?
- 14:50Speaker 3: Like the sound that an owl makes. Someone said that's
- 14:53Speaker 3: what it sounds like. Someone I was talking to said that.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Who?
- 14:57Speaker 4: Owl.
- 14:58Speaker 5: Oh my gosh.
- 14:59Speaker 4: You're so....
- 15:05Speaker 3: Okay, so the big news is that we are... Going. Drumroll, please.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Oh, I can handle that. Coming right up.
- 15:14Speaker 3: Get tired.
- 15:16Speaker 2: Is it going?
- 15:20Speaker 3: It's going.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Oh, oh.
- 15:24Speaker 3: We're going to Dancing with the Stars tomorrow.
- 15:26Speaker 2: A live viewing.
- 15:33Speaker 3: I reached out to Whitney Carson and I was like, listen.
- 15:36Speaker 3: I got a group and we want to come see you.
- 15:38Speaker 3: I got a crew. I got a crew. We're trying
- 15:41Speaker 3: to come see you dance with Guillermo and slay the
- 15:45Speaker 3: house down.
- 15:46Speaker 4: Slay it down, Whitney Carson.
- 15:48Speaker 3: And she was like, let me see if I can
- 15:49Speaker 3: get tickets. And then she texted me yesterday. She said,
- 15:52Speaker 3: I got four. And I said, we'll be there.
- 15:56Speaker 4: Put us in, coach.
- 15:57Speaker 3: Put us in. So we're going to, we'll try to
- 16:00Speaker 3: document that journey and have more to talk about next week. But-
- 16:04Speaker 3: I'm very excited.
- 16:05Speaker 4: I'm so excited.
- 16:07Speaker 3: And I think the theme is Super Bowl, which.
- 16:09Speaker 4: Yes, it is NFL Super Bowl halftime show.
- 16:12Speaker 3: Oh, like iconic.
- 16:13Speaker 4: Yeah, like iconic Super Bowl performers from the past.
- 16:16Speaker 3: I see, I see. There's a lot of people.
- 16:17Speaker 5: I was hoping it would be like a Super Bowl
- 16:19Speaker 5: shuffle and like ramen and stuff like that.
- 16:23Speaker 4: No, but Mark did pull the songs that they're going
- 16:27Speaker 4: to be dancing to this week, if we may. Where
- 16:31Speaker 4: are they? Aha, here they are. Okay, so like Mi Gente,
- 16:37Speaker 4: J Balvin, Hipstone Lies, Shakira, Hot and Her, Nelly, Tite
- 16:41Speaker 4: Mi Pregunto, Bad Bunny. I mean, the list goes on
- 16:45Speaker 4: and on.
- 16:45Speaker 3: Oh, that's Whitney and Guillermo's song.
- 16:47Speaker 4: Tite Mi Pregunto? Oh, that's going to be a good one.
- 16:49Speaker 3: No, it's a really good, it's a fun way of
- 16:52Speaker 3: getting these random but iconic hits. You know what I'm saying? Yeah.
- 16:57Speaker 3: Because how else would you have all these together?
- 16:59Speaker 4: It's an interesting... Theme?
- 17:01Speaker 2: Theme.
- 17:02Speaker 3: Yeah. But we'll be there.
- 17:04Speaker 4: Yeah. Well, Mark, can you do a little investigation for me?
- 17:07Speaker 3: Here I go.
- 17:09Speaker 4: Remember something that Michaela said during our meeting that they're
- 17:11Speaker 4: going to announce a Dancing with the Stars tomorrow?
- 17:13Speaker 1: Can you see if that's... And there's got to be.
- 17:15Speaker 3: Right. Rumor?
- 17:16Speaker 1: With that theme, that's got to be.
- 17:18Speaker 3: It, right?
- 17:18Speaker 4: Is it a rumor or is it like said to be.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Let me find out.
- 17:21Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 17:21Speaker 3: What?
- 17:22Speaker 4: There's a rumor going around that they're going to announce
- 17:24Speaker 4: who's performing at this year's Super Bowl during... Dancing with
- 17:28Speaker 4: the Stars Super Bowl.
- 17:29Speaker 3: Who do we think it is? Miley Cyrus. Oh, Miley's the.
- 17:32Speaker 4: I think she's the front runner.
- 17:34Speaker 3: Oh. Right? I feel like I've seen.
- 17:38Speaker 5: I saw that ad with the big teeth.
- 17:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:40Speaker 5: I was thinking that too.
- 17:41Speaker 4: And like the hair.
- 17:41Speaker 3: Yeah. That's really fun. Yeah. Party in the USA.
- 17:45Speaker 4: And like she could bring out Beyonce.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Wow.
- 17:50Speaker 3: I love that actually.
- 17:52Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 17:53Speaker 3: How do you feel about it?
- 17:54Speaker 4: I'm unsure how I feel about it. I'd have to
- 17:58Speaker 4: give it a little bit of time to sink in,
- 18:00Speaker 4: but I do think she's an amazing performer.
- 18:02Speaker 3: Right.
- 18:04Speaker 4: With a big Rolodex.
- 18:06Speaker 3: Right.
- 18:07Speaker 4: Which is always helpful.
- 18:08Speaker 3: Right. That's exciting. I wonder if she'll be there.
- 18:11Speaker 1: According to Google Gemini, there is not going to be
- 18:15Speaker 1: an announcement as far as the Super Bowl halftime show
- 18:17Speaker 1: goes during Dancing with the Stars.
- 18:19Speaker 4: That's just a rumor that I heard on the streets.
- 18:22Speaker 3: I thought it'd be an interesting rollout for Dancing with
- 18:25Speaker 3: the Stars to be the one to announce.
- 18:26Speaker 1: It, but.
- 18:27Speaker 5: It's produced by Apple, right?
- 18:29Speaker 1: Apple and Roc Nation. Yeah.
- 18:32Speaker 4: And Dancing with the Stars.
- 18:33Speaker 5: Dancing with the Stars, ABC, baby.
- 18:36Speaker 3: This is how rumors get started. I hear it. I
- 18:39Speaker 3: pass it on here.
- 18:39Speaker 4: Then our listeners are going to pass it on.
- 18:41Speaker 3: Yeah, literally. But speaking of Dancing with the Stars, we
- 18:45Speaker 3: didn't talk about this last week.
- 18:46Speaker 4: Wait, before we move on really fast, what are we
- 18:49Speaker 4: supposed to wear?
- 18:50Speaker 3: You saw it said we're a beautiful audience. I know.
- 18:53Speaker 4: But what does that mean? Like, can you wear like
- 18:55Speaker 4: jeans and a cute top or do you need to
- 18:56Speaker 4: be in like a dress? Like fancy?
- 18:57Speaker 3: Sometimes I see people and I notice how casual they
- 19:00Speaker 3: are and we don't want to be noticed for how
- 19:02Speaker 3: casual we are. So I think we don't do jeans.
- 19:05Speaker 3: Like I think we do, but you don't have to
- 19:07Speaker 3: be like in a ball gown, a ball gown, a
- 19:10Speaker 3: ball gown.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Okay.
- 19:12Speaker 3: Like I might do a Like pants and a blazer.
- 19:15Speaker 3: Or I might do a dress. Depends on if I
- 19:17Speaker 3: start my period or not.
- 19:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:20Speaker 4: It's tough out there on these streets this week. Let
- 19:21Speaker 4: me tell you.
- 19:22Speaker 3: So I'll just be. It'll depend on my mood tomorrow basically.
- 19:25Speaker 3: All right. But I would say no jeans. We can't
- 19:27Speaker 3: be like the girls in jeans in the ballroom. Let
- 19:31Speaker 3: me tell you.
- 19:32Speaker 4: A jean can be elevated with a classy heel and
- 19:34Speaker 4: a chic top.
- 19:37Speaker 2: A jean can be a jean.
- 19:39Speaker 3: You do what you want. I don't want to be
- 19:41Speaker 3: the girl in jeans.
- 19:43Speaker 4: Well, I don't want to, I'm your guest, so I
- 19:44Speaker 4: can't be the girl in jeans if I'm your guest,
- 19:46Speaker 4: but I do want to be Maura Higgins so that's
- 19:48Speaker 4: like on top of my list if I.
- 19:50Speaker 3: Was not a nice friend and I told you like
- 19:53Speaker 3: we have to be in gowns but I am a
- 20:00Speaker 3: nice friend unlike you who said it made me realize
- 20:03Speaker 3: how beautiful Dakota Johnson must be and don't forget I
- 20:07Speaker 3: won't forget Don't worry.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Come on.
- 20:09Speaker 3: That was so funny. And I won't forget. Okay. Speaking
- 20:12Speaker 3: of Dancing with the Stars, I wanted to talk about
- 20:14Speaker 3: this last week, but I forgot. But the Brian Austin
- 20:17Speaker 3: Green of it all with his videos about Sharna working
- 20:21Speaker 3: and being gone and then deleted the videos. And part
- 20:27Speaker 3: of me thought because someone said, what if this is
- 20:29Speaker 3: a tactic to.
- 20:31Speaker 4: Get people to vote for her? It doesn't feel that way.
- 20:35Speaker 4: It doesn't feel like a tactic. It doesn't feel like
- 20:37Speaker 4: Sharna's in on it.
- 20:38Speaker 3: But so basically, if you're not following any of this or,
- 20:43Speaker 3: you know, just living your life, not chronically online, basically,
- 20:47Speaker 3: Sharna is a professional in Dancing with the Stars and
- 20:50Speaker 3: she's dancing with Tyler Cameron this season from The Bachelor,
- 20:53Speaker 3: who is very beloved, very handsome, very tall, buff.
- 20:57Speaker 4: Oh, I thought you were talking about Sharna, because she's
- 20:59Speaker 4: also very beloved. She was gone for many seasons, and
- 21:03Speaker 4: this is kind of like her first season back.
- 21:04Speaker 3: Yeah, and she's so happy to be back. You can
- 21:06Speaker 3: tell she's just thriving. So Brian Austin Green is her husband.
- 21:11Speaker 3: He's from the original 90210 cast, and he goes online,
- 21:15Speaker 3: and he basically just says he's at the movies by himself,
- 21:18Speaker 3: and he's... alone and came to the mall by himself.
- 21:23Speaker 4: It's hard for him because his wife is working and.
- 21:27Speaker 3: She's gone and he's lonely. And I also... And he
- 21:30Speaker 3: kind of... He alludes to the fact that she's spending
- 21:33Speaker 3: all her time with this very handsome man. But... Tyler's
- 21:37Speaker 3: also engaged and very in love with his fiance, Tate.
- 21:39Speaker 3: And he does mention that, too. Yeah, he says he's
- 21:41Speaker 3: so in love with her.
- 21:41Speaker 4: He's a nice guy, yeah.
- 21:42Speaker 3: And listen, I understand. I mean, when Hailey goes on
- 21:45Speaker 3: tour and whatnot, it is lonely, and you're kind of like, oh,
- 21:48Speaker 3: you know, they're spending all their... They're out doing their
- 21:51Speaker 3: thing that they love, and I'm... You get in your
- 21:53Speaker 3: head sometimes, but going online and posting it and almost like...
- 22:00Speaker 3: I thought... She probably, if she watched it and saw it,
- 22:03Speaker 3: it may, it probably made her feel horrible, you know,
- 22:06Speaker 3: bad about going to work.
- 22:08Speaker 4: It was just like so many layers of bad because
- 22:11Speaker 4: I'm just like, people were applauding him. They're like, good
- 22:14Speaker 4: for you for sharing your truth and speaking out. And
- 22:17Speaker 4: I'm like, should he have done that? Or should he
- 22:20Speaker 4: have just told his therapist? Because like women, but like
- 22:24Speaker 4: women have to, like a lot of women that are
- 22:26Speaker 4: housewives stay home and watch their husbands work all day.
- 22:30Speaker 4: And they're not online saying how sad and lonely they
- 22:33Speaker 4: are while their husbands are working all day. Women have
- 22:35Speaker 4: been doing this for centuries.
- 22:37Speaker 3: And I also think, I also think her going back
- 22:41Speaker 3: to something she loves and then there being this negative
- 22:44Speaker 3: energy around it from the person who's supposed to be
- 22:46Speaker 3: the most supportive. And doing it publicly.
- 22:50Speaker 4: Again, then then I see all these posts about like
- 22:53Speaker 4: Matthew Koma, who is Hillary Duff's husband and how much
- 22:56Speaker 4: he's like he like pumps up her tires and he's like, go, go, go, honey, go. Meanwhile,
- 23:02Speaker 4: she's touring the world. They have three children or four children.
- 23:06Speaker 4: And he's like taking care of business and like cheering
- 23:08Speaker 4: her on. And like everybody's like, you can marry a
- 23:11Speaker 4: Matthew Koma or you can marry a Brian Austin Green.
- 23:13Speaker 3: But I don't think I mean, the thing is, is
- 23:15Speaker 3: I don't like that mentality because it's like, OK, it's
- 23:20Speaker 3: a vulnerable moment. He should have stayed offline and he
- 23:22Speaker 3: ended up deleting it. So either someone said, hey, buddy,
- 23:25Speaker 3: this is not it. Or Sharna said, hey, buddy, take
- 23:30Speaker 3: it down now. Yeah. But now she announced that she's
- 23:33Speaker 3: going on tour. The Dancing with the Stars tour.
- 23:35Speaker 4: No, she's not.
- 23:36Speaker 3: Yeah. She was part of the cast that announced that
- 23:38Speaker 3: they're going. So I hope they. I have some long
- 23:43Speaker 3: chats before, but I made me, I will say it
- 23:46Speaker 3: made me like want to root for her because I'm like,
- 23:48Speaker 3: I want her to go further and like enjoy her time.
- 23:52Speaker 3: And I feel like I love watching Tyler. I feel
- 23:54Speaker 3: like he's really trying and working so hard.
- 23:57Speaker 4: I love Sharna. Like I love her so much.
- 23:59Speaker 3: Remember she was on our podcast. We did a dance
- 24:01Speaker 3: with her.
- 24:01Speaker 2: I know. I know.
- 24:02Speaker 4: Do you know what's so funny? Whenever we're like watching
- 24:03Speaker 4: these things, I'll like turn to Robbie. I'm like, she
- 24:06Speaker 4: was on our podcast. Oh, she was on our podcast.
- 24:08Speaker 3: Special forces.
- 24:08Speaker 4: She was on our podcast.
- 24:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:10Speaker 4: So she, yeah, the OGs over here. Um, but, uh, no,
- 24:15Speaker 4: I love Sharna and it just like, I don't know.
- 24:17Speaker 4: It makes me feel bad. It just makes me feel
- 24:19Speaker 4: really bad for her.
- 24:21Speaker 3: Yeah. But I think he ultimately maybe had some reflection on,
- 24:26Speaker 3: hopefully had some reflection on it. Seeing people's reactions of
- 24:29Speaker 3: being like, Hey, I get it can be lonely and sad,
- 24:33Speaker 3: especially if, you know, you'll spend so much time together
- 24:36Speaker 3: and then she's gone. But I will.
- 24:37Speaker 4: Say to give Brian Austin Green some credit, I could
- 24:41Speaker 4: never do that. I don't think like I don't think
- 24:45Speaker 4: I could marry somebody that was that close and like touchy.
- 24:49Speaker 4: And I get it. They're dancers and this is like
- 24:50Speaker 4: their job. But like when I watch like Riley Arnold
- 24:53Speaker 4: and Connor, when they like and like basically almost kissing.
- 24:56Speaker 4: I'm like, if that were Robbie, I would literally be
- 24:59Speaker 4: having like, I don't even know. Like I would have
- 25:02Speaker 4: smoke coming out of my ears, even though I trust
- 25:05Speaker 4: him implicitly. I have zero like trust, like false trust
- 25:09Speaker 4: in him. I think it would just be really, really hard.
- 25:12Speaker 4: So it's like, I get where he's coming from, but
- 25:14Speaker 4: also like you don't marry somebody who knowing that that's
- 25:19Speaker 4: how you feel about it do you know what I
- 25:20Speaker 4: mean well.
- 25:21Speaker 3: I think it's a very human feeling I don't think
- 25:23Speaker 3: what he's feeling is.
- 25:24Speaker 4: Abnormal but I think many people can like you are
- 25:27Speaker 4: somebody that can handle that like I am not.
- 25:29Speaker 3: But even I had a hard time but I think
- 25:32Speaker 3: it's not bringing everything to the internet my life my
- 25:34Speaker 3: takeaway was not bringing everything to the internet get a
- 25:37Speaker 3: journal get a therapist and talk to your partner and
- 25:40Speaker 3: let them like Give her a chance to, like, be
- 25:44Speaker 3: reassuring and make him feel safe. Like, he's okay. She's
- 25:48Speaker 3: just going to work. So, yeah, I'm very excited about
- 25:53Speaker 3: Dancing with the Stars.
- 25:54Speaker 4: Me, too.
- 25:55Speaker 3: Have you ever been to a live show?
- 25:57Speaker 2: Never.
- 25:58Speaker 3: Wow. I'm so excited to get to experience that with you. Me.
- 26:02Speaker 3: Is Robbie excited?
- 26:03Speaker 4: He's so excited. This is the first time he's ever watched. Wow. Yeah.
- 26:07Speaker 4: He texted Ezra and was like, hey. We're coming to
- 26:11Speaker 4: the ballroom.
- 26:13Speaker 2: Whoa.
- 26:14Speaker 3: So we might be able to meet Ezra. I think.
- 26:16Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 26:16Speaker 4: But I guess I do press after.
- 26:19Speaker 3: It's pretty crazy.
- 26:19Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 26:19Speaker 4: We want to linger maybe. But I don't know if we.
- 26:22Speaker 1: Want to be the lingerers.
- 26:22Speaker 3: The security's like, y'all got to go. Yeah. Are you
- 26:25Speaker 3: decorating or do anything for Halloween?
- 26:27Speaker 4: Oh, funny that you ask.
- 26:28Speaker 3: Why?
- 26:30Speaker 4: Well, maybe we get into it after the break.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Is it good?
- 26:35Speaker 5: Did I do it wrong?
- 26:52Speaker 1: We're back we're back.
- 26:54Speaker 3: All right so what why what are your halloween plans so.
- 26:58Speaker 4: Every year like we love halloween we love to like
- 27:00Speaker 4: do like a cute little theme and we've been deciding
- 27:03Speaker 4: like what we want to be and then i realized
- 27:06Speaker 4: the other day we have no plans we have nowhere
- 27:10Speaker 4: to go and then i thought where do we usually
- 27:13Speaker 4: go ah becca and hayley's halloween party Well.
- 27:18Speaker 3: We did it last year, but the few years before
- 27:20Speaker 3: we didn't do it.
- 27:21Speaker 4: You didn't? No.
- 27:22Speaker 3: No, we took a break.
- 27:24Speaker 4: What did I do those years?
- 27:25Speaker 3: I think we took a break for two years.
- 27:26Speaker 4: What did I do for those years? I've never not
- 27:29Speaker 4: had plans on Halloween.
- 27:30Speaker 3: I'm sure a party will come up.
- 27:32Speaker 4: Hard to say.
- 27:33Speaker 3: Do y'all have an outfit picked out if things do
- 27:36Speaker 3: come up?
- 27:36Speaker 4: If we don't have a party to go to, we
- 27:38Speaker 4: still have outfits that we're going to take pictures in.
- 27:40Speaker 3: Okay, good, good, good. So you have something?
- 27:43Speaker 4: Partially that I could just finish off easily.
- 27:46Speaker 3: Okay. Yeah.
- 27:47Speaker 4: What about you?
- 27:51Speaker 3: I don't know. Well, we're going to be out of
- 27:53Speaker 3: town for Halloween because it's my birthday weekend.
- 27:56Speaker 4: So you guys aren't even going to dress up for Halloween?
- 27:58Speaker 3: We might. It's so crazy because I remember in July
- 28:04Speaker 3: thinking about October, just like my brain going to October,
- 28:07Speaker 3: and I was like, that is so far away. And
- 28:09Speaker 3: now we're basically halfway through October. And I have nothing.
- 28:14Speaker 3: I've No decorations out. I might do that this week.
- 28:18Speaker 3: I just need to get in the spirit. It's been
- 28:20Speaker 3: too hot. And finally we had some fall weather and.
- 28:22Speaker 1: I'm like, I'm going to decorate.
- 28:23Speaker 4: I know, but it's going to be 90 again before
- 28:24Speaker 4: you know it.
- 28:25Speaker 3: This week.
- 28:26Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 28:27Speaker 3: That's okay. Maybe I'll decorate today.
- 28:29Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 28:30Speaker 3: To be in the spirit. But anyways, we might put
- 28:32Speaker 3: together an outfit. We always, you know, Haley loves to
- 28:35Speaker 3: be green. That's been a theme for years now. She
- 28:37Speaker 3: loves to be a green thing. And it's getting harder.
- 28:41Speaker 3: We're like... You know, her green things are very extravagant.
- 28:44Speaker 4: There's only so much green, yeah.
- 28:46Speaker 3: Like, at one point, we talked about Shrek and Fiona,
- 28:48Speaker 3: but that's a big to-do.
- 28:50Speaker 4: Especially if you're on vacation.
- 28:52Speaker 3: No, we would probably do pictures or something before and just, yeah.
- 28:57Speaker 3: I'm not bringing a Shrek costume on vacation. Yeah.
- 29:01Speaker 4: But what if, like, she was grass and you were
- 29:04Speaker 4: a flower?
- 29:05Speaker 3: Well, it's beautiful. That could be easy. It could be easy. Well,
- 29:11Speaker 3: I'll present it to her. Okay. See what she says.
- 29:13Speaker 4: Okay. Are you excited about your birthday this year?
- 29:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:18Speaker 3: I always, I'm always like very neutral, but positive about
- 29:22Speaker 3: my birthday.
- 29:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:23Speaker 4: How are you feeling? What's the vibe? What's inside?
- 29:25Speaker 3: I feel very neutral, but excited about my birthday. For me,
- 29:29Speaker 3: I don't really, like the idea of getting older by
- 29:33Speaker 3: the number or whatever doesn't, it doesn't affect me.
- 29:38Speaker 4: You're gonna be turning 38 yeah youth I remember when
- 29:45Speaker 4: I was 38 so much promise ahead oh.
- 29:49Speaker 3: My gosh I did no I.
- 29:51Speaker 4: Thought I had the Run way ahead of me.
- 29:54Speaker 3: So I'll be celebrating being on Earth for 38 years.
- 29:58Speaker 3: And then I'll be starting my 39th birthday. What did
- 30:03Speaker 3: you send me? What's it called again? Did you send
- 30:06Speaker 3: me that video where it was? There's like it's a
- 30:08Speaker 3: that that way of thinking is a.
- 30:11Speaker 4: Oh, it wasn't me.
- 30:13Speaker 3: Send me that. Maybe Haley, because she hates when I
- 30:15Speaker 3: talk about it, too. But basically, it's a different like
- 30:18Speaker 3: culture thing. Mark, the way that you talk about celebrating
- 30:22Speaker 3: the number of a birthday, it's a specific cultural thing. Oh,
- 30:28Speaker 3: is it?
- 30:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:30Speaker 3: Someone sent me a video about that.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Oh, I didn't realize.
- 30:32Speaker 4: No disrespect to the culture, but it is whack. Whack.
- 30:39Speaker 1: I was simply saying that you'll be starting your 39th
- 30:42Speaker 1: year in a couple of weeks.
- 30:43Speaker 3: That's it.
- 30:43Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't know which culture.
- 30:45Speaker 3: Which I'm very excited about.
- 30:46Speaker 1: Yeah, absolutely. And you are in your 40th year, Tanya.
- 30:50Speaker 4: Oh, wow.
- 30:52Speaker 1: What a look.
- 30:53Speaker 3: I can handle that. But Tanya is actually, she's in
- 30:57Speaker 3: another culture where she's actually celebrating her 38th year again.
- 31:01Speaker 4: Yeah, I have the ovaries of a 32-year-old. I feel like.
- 31:05Speaker 3: We should just be our age based on our ovary health.
- 31:10Speaker 4: Really, it's not your ovaries that you want to be healthy.
- 31:12Speaker 4: It's your eggs. And unfortunately, those are in their 40th year.
- 31:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 31:18Speaker 4: It's so funny because like when I mean, I obviously
- 31:21Speaker 4: shouldn't listen to these people on the Internet, but like
- 31:24Speaker 4: people just have such different opinions about that stuff. You know,
- 31:27Speaker 4: some people like you cannot beat your biological. Your biological
- 31:30Speaker 4: age is your biological age is your age. You are right.
- 31:34Speaker 1: Sure.
- 31:34Speaker 4: Yeah. You cannot beat that where like some people are
- 31:37Speaker 4: like if you're if you know you're like health maxing
- 31:40Speaker 4: and like all this stuff like it really like doesn't matter.
- 31:44Speaker 4: I'm like, I think it does.
- 31:47Speaker 1: So you're saying it's possible to be 38 years old,
- 31:50Speaker 1: but biologically I'm 31 because I'm so healthy. Yeah, correct.
- 31:53Speaker 2: Right, right, right.
- 31:54Speaker 1: And they're saying that's not possible.
- 31:55Speaker 3: Yes.
- 31:56Speaker 1: Different experts have— Can you go the other way? Can
- 31:58Speaker 1: you be— you' re 38, but really you're like 44 because you
- 32:01Speaker 1: never leave the couch.
- 32:02Speaker 3: Yes.
- 32:02Speaker 2: Okay.
- 32:02Speaker 4: Yes.
- 32:02Speaker 2: All right.
- 32:05Speaker 3: I see.
- 32:05Speaker 4: So it's tough, you know. I had to change my algorithm.
- 32:09Speaker 4: Now my algorithm is like all like— AI food things
- 32:14Speaker 4: or AI like animals doing like stuffed in a banana.
- 32:18Speaker 4: And it's like cute.
- 32:20Speaker 3: Yeah. Your algorithm is freaky. Freaky.
- 32:24Speaker 4: But at least it's not fertility focused, which is really
- 32:26Speaker 4: what I needed it to be.
- 32:28Speaker 3: Weird videos you send me over more information about.
- 32:33Speaker 4: I saw a Cavapoo coming out of a ice cream
- 32:36Speaker 4: dispenser into a ice cream cone. And it was the
- 32:39Speaker 4: cutest thing. I think I watched it 10 times and
- 32:41Speaker 4: I could not stop laughing.
- 32:43Speaker 3: Why we gotta we gotta limit internet access the.
- 32:48Speaker 6: Weekends it gets really freaky over here did you see
- 32:52Speaker 6: that toby mcguire officiated jennifer meyer's wedding it's so insane
- 32:57Speaker 6: to me after they finalized their divorce.
- 32:59Speaker 4: Here's the thing i'm all for it if you can
- 33:03Speaker 4: be happy symbiotic uh cordial co-parenting situation to officiate the
- 33:13Speaker 4: next wedding just feels like a hair too far, like unnecessary, really.
- 33:18Speaker 3: Like trying too hard? Yes.
- 33:20Speaker 4: Like, why?
- 33:21Speaker 3: I just almost wonder if it's like, Well, I guess
- 33:28Speaker 3: some people, if they have a relationship and a long
- 33:32Speaker 3: marriage and it doesn't work out, but they still look
- 33:35Speaker 3: back on it with fond memories and see it as
- 33:37Speaker 3: a great relationship, it's almost like he's passing the good
- 33:42Speaker 3: vibes on.
- 33:43Speaker 4: Pass them on. Be at the wedding. Be there with
- 33:47Speaker 4: your children and have a smile on your face. But
- 33:51Speaker 4: to be the one that pronounces you man and wife
- 33:54Speaker 4: and says kiss the bride.
- 33:55Speaker 3: Me personally.
- 33:56Speaker 4: It's so crazy.
- 33:58Speaker 3: Me personally couldn't do it. Wouldn't do it. I'm like, Robert,
- 34:03Speaker 3: I have a job for you.
- 34:06Speaker 4: It's just like, I need to understand the reality. I
- 34:10Speaker 4: need to understand the why of it.
- 34:11Speaker 3: Do you know what I mean?
- 34:12Speaker 4: Cause it's like, no, I get it to have, they
- 34:14Speaker 4: have kids together.
- 34:15Speaker 2: Right.
- 34:16Speaker 3: To have a good relationship is important. I totally get that.
- 34:18Speaker 4: But like to go that extra step to officiate just feels,
- 34:21Speaker 4: I'm like, are they filming this for some movie? Like
- 34:23Speaker 4: this has to be, there has to be some sort
- 34:24Speaker 4: of punchline here that we're not a part of.
- 34:27Speaker 3: Which they could, could be.
- 34:28Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 34:29Speaker 3: Also the, her husband, new husband. Like he's like, they're chummy.
- 34:34Speaker 4: They're great.
- 34:35Speaker 3: But again, great.
- 34:36Speaker 4: Love that for them. Like, I honestly genuinely love that
- 34:38Speaker 4: for them. There's nothing better than having that. Like whenever
- 34:41Speaker 4: I see Christina Hack and Heather El Mousseau, you know,
- 34:44Speaker 4: like Tarek's ex-wife and current wife or whatever wife. I'm like,
- 34:50Speaker 4: that's amazing. I really genuinely think that's like the goal,
- 34:54Speaker 4: you know, but to officiate, like if Tarek officiated Christina Hack's,
- 35:00Speaker 4: I don't know, it's just like a level two. One
- 35:02Speaker 4: level too far. Yeah.
- 35:04Speaker 1: Personally.
- 35:04Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. To each their own.
- 35:07Speaker 4: But happy wedding.
- 35:09Speaker 5: What if this guy's like a huge Spider-Man fan?
- 35:11Speaker 3: And he's just like the.
- 35:13Speaker 5: Have we seen photos of the wedding as Tobey in costume?
- 35:17Speaker 3: He's like, my dream is to have someone who played
- 35:22Speaker 3: Spider-Man officiate our wedding. And she's like, I can make
- 35:26Speaker 3: this happen for you.
- 35:28Speaker 1: I can make your dream come true.
- 35:29Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 35:31Speaker 3: Did you know, have you heard of hey hanging?
- 35:35Speaker 4: Where you leave people hanging?
- 35:37Speaker 3: Well, apparently it's saying hey, like on a Slack or
- 35:42Speaker 3: Google chat in the workplace.
- 35:44Speaker 1: Or a text, I would say.
- 35:46Speaker 3: Or a text with no follow up or a heavy pause.
- 35:50Speaker 1: This is, you do this.
- 35:52Speaker 4: I don't ever say hey.
- 35:53Speaker 1: Maybe not hey, but you do say like hi and
- 35:56Speaker 1: nothing else. You'll send it just a hi by itself. Yeah.
- 36:01Speaker 4: I want to make sure you're near your phone.
- 36:03Speaker 1: Mark.
- 36:03Speaker 3: Yes, Mark.
- 36:04Speaker 1: Not great.
- 36:06Speaker 3: No, the name's bad.
- 36:08Speaker 5: I just got hit with this when I stepped out.
- 36:10Speaker 5: Someone said Easton. I had to walk out of the room.
- 36:13Speaker 4: What's wrong with the name? This is what I'm doing. Mark,
- 36:18Speaker 4: are you there is what I'm saying. If you're there,
- 36:21Speaker 4: you'll say yes.
- 36:22Speaker 1: Why don't you just text what you want to say?
- 36:24Speaker 4: Because I don't want you to have time to think
- 36:25Speaker 4: about it. Do you get what I'm saying?
- 36:28Speaker 3: No. Wait, what? On a text? Yeah. You have time
- 36:31Speaker 3: to think about it.
- 36:32Speaker 4: No, because here's the thing. If I say, Mark, can
- 36:34Speaker 4: you leave me like some holes for whatever? I don't
- 36:37Speaker 4: even know what I'm saying.
- 36:39Speaker 1: How about you want to know what time are we
- 36:40Speaker 1: wrapping tomorrow?
- 36:41Speaker 4: Mark, what time are we wrapping tomorrow?
- 36:42Speaker 1: Why don't you say that?
- 36:43Speaker 4: Then if I send that all in one text, he
- 36:46Speaker 4: has time to think about like, should I tell her
- 36:48Speaker 4: it's later because I want her to stay for this
- 36:50Speaker 4: meeting or like he can do this whole like whatever
- 36:53Speaker 4: in his head. Whereas if I say Mark, he says yes.
- 36:56Speaker 4: And then I hit him with the question. He has
- 36:58Speaker 4: he doesn't have time to do all that thinking.
- 37:00Speaker 3: I'm confused, though. Why can't he still think on after
- 37:04Speaker 3: you send the second one?
- 37:05Speaker 4: He can, but I'm catching him more off guard. I'm
- 37:08Speaker 4: catching you all more off guard. Do you understand?
- 37:11Speaker 1: Does anybody understand that? I had no idea that this
- 37:12Speaker 1: much thought went into this. That you're actually trying to
- 37:15Speaker 1: trick me.
- 37:15Speaker 3: Yeah, it's almost a trap almost. It's a test. It
- 37:19Speaker 3: is a test and you all fail most of the time.
- 37:21Speaker 1: You don't trust me to answer you honestly so you
- 37:23Speaker 1: have to set me up to catch me off guard
- 37:25Speaker 1: so I'm truthful with you.
- 37:26Speaker 4: Think about the anxious attachment that I have that I
- 37:29Speaker 4: need to send a text to my boss like that.
- 37:32Speaker 3: Can I show you my most recent one that happened
- 37:35Speaker 3: over the last week?
- 37:36Speaker 5: What?
- 37:38Speaker 3: Becca, what's the name of the song that's trending that
- 37:43Speaker 3: goes like, you want to lick my bum, but clop
- 37:46Speaker 3: my rat-a-ta-ta-ta? Wow. But these were all separate, right? So
- 37:54Speaker 3: Becca was sent first. Sure. I didn't even respond.
- 37:57Speaker 1: Of course not. Nor should you.
- 37:59Speaker 3: But my heart rate skyrocketed. Because we were kind of
- 38:02Speaker 3: talking about something a little more serious earlier. So I
- 38:05Speaker 3: was like, oh. And then she sends, what's the name
- 38:08Speaker 3: of that song that's trending that goes like dot, dot, dot?
- 38:12Speaker 3: That's a separate one. So I thought she was going
- 38:14Speaker 3: to send something maybe more, you know, according to the,
- 38:18Speaker 3: you know, the conversation before. You want to lick my bum,
- 38:22Speaker 3: but caught my rat-a-ta-ta-ta. And I just said, LOL. It's
- 38:27Speaker 3: called Pink Blush. And then she said, got him going
- 38:30Speaker 3: crazy for that poo-na-na-na-na. And then... Also, she says also,
- 38:37Speaker 3: follow up, separate, a picture of one of the Dancing
- 38:41Speaker 3: with the Stars feet, right? And they're like little dance heels. This.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Okay.
- 38:47Speaker 3: Little jazz shoes. Why do dancers have to wear these
- 38:52Speaker 3: godforsaken shoes? This was all in a span of a minute. So,
- 38:58Speaker 3: but then she could send Becca, and it could be...
- 39:02Speaker 3: That or it could be something really heavy and deep.
- 39:06Speaker 4: This is the song I was referring to.
- 39:08Speaker 1: I don't think you can play that. There's no way
- 39:10Speaker 1: we can get away with it. You can't play any
- 39:11Speaker 1: songs on a podcast, let alone the one that talks
- 39:13Speaker 1: about licking bum.
- 39:17Speaker 3: Oh, really?
- 39:19Speaker 4: You can't play any of that?
- 39:20Speaker 1: No.
- 39:20Speaker 3: I think the written word will give them.
- 39:23Speaker 4: You think people will know?
- 39:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 39:24Speaker 5: People will know.
- 39:27Speaker 3: You really enjoy.
- 39:28Speaker 5: Hearing you read that.
- 39:29Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. Her typing it out was actually what I envisioned,
- 39:33Speaker 3: which was really funny. Poo-na-na-na-na. She probably looked up the lyrics, yeah.
- 39:41Speaker 5: Poonana.
- 39:42Speaker 3: You want to lick that bum? Oh, my God.
- 39:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:49Speaker 4: Here's the thing, guys. You know, my brain is... I
- 39:53Speaker 4: just have such a big brain that it's just firing off.
- 39:55Speaker 3: Those are big brain thoughts. Big brain thoughts, yeah.
- 39:58Speaker 4: And it's, like, it's just constantly going, you know? Like,
- 40:01Speaker 4: so I need to know... I wanted to use that
- 40:03Speaker 4: Poonanana song. I couldn't find it, so I'm firing that off.
- 40:06Speaker 4: I'm watching Dancing with the Stars.
- 40:07Speaker 1: Like, I want to, like.
- 40:08Speaker 4: ask her that. Like, it's just, it's tough being in
- 40:12Speaker 4: this big.
- 40:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:13Speaker 1: Some insight there to what it's like in your head.
- 40:15Speaker 3: Yeah. Just so y'all are aware what, what we're doing.
- 40:20Speaker 5: The hay hanging thing. Like when I text someone, I
- 40:23Speaker 5: usually just go in with what I want to say. Like,
- 40:25Speaker 5: I'll just like, if I text corporate of you, I'll
- 40:29Speaker 5: just say like, um, what was the name of the
- 40:31Speaker 5: bad guy from Tron?
- 40:32Speaker 1: I'll just ask him that.
- 40:33Speaker 5: But, um, my brother-in-law is from Canada and sometimes I'll
- 40:37Speaker 5: text him and say like, some star Wars thing. And
- 40:40Speaker 5: I'd be like, hi, how are you doing? And I'm like,
- 40:43Speaker 5: now I feel like a jerk. Like I should have said, hi, Blaine,
- 40:46Speaker 5: how are you?
- 40:47Speaker 3: Like I don't do that.
- 40:49Speaker 4: Sam always used to tell me, she's like, you always
- 40:51Speaker 4: text me stuff that you could just Google.
- 40:53Speaker 3: And I'm like, I would say our whole podcast is
- 40:58Speaker 3: mostly things you could Google. But in a funny way.
- 41:02Speaker 4: What?
- 41:03Speaker 3: I'm just saying, like, a lot of this is just, like,
- 41:05Speaker 3: us talking about things that we could just Google, but it's,
- 41:07Speaker 3: what fun is that? What do you mean?
- 41:09Speaker 4: What do we talk about that you could just Google?
- 41:11Speaker 1: You've asked me to Google half a dozen things in
- 41:12Speaker 1: this episode.
- 41:13Speaker 2: Like what?
- 41:14Speaker 4: Name one. Okay, here he talks a big game.
- 41:17Speaker 1: You just had me do something.
- 41:18Speaker 4: Just that only one thing, the Dancing with the Stars
- 41:20Speaker 4: Super Bowl thing.
- 41:22Speaker 1: Yeah, that. And then right with the green glass door.
- 41:24Speaker 4: Oh, which actually we should circle back on that.
- 41:27Speaker 5: We probably should.
- 41:29Speaker 4: So Mark needs some help.
- 41:31Speaker 1: I'm just curious what game we should play on Thursday
- 41:34Speaker 1: because I want to spend the next two days working
- 41:37Speaker 1: it out.
- 41:37Speaker 4: Yeah. So I voted for another round of Family Feud
- 41:40Speaker 4: because we know the rules. It's easy.
- 41:42Speaker 3: It's fun.
- 41:44Speaker 4: We like it. We, the general we. Okay. So that's
- 41:48Speaker 4: my vote. Now Mark has another pitch.
- 41:50Speaker 1: Well, there's something I've seen going around called the Tower
- 41:53Speaker 1: of Music.
- 41:54Speaker 4: Where is it going around?
- 41:55Speaker 1: It shows up on my TikTok. What can I tell you?
- 41:58Speaker 1: And you each have a category of bands. It could
- 42:01Speaker 1: be Canadian artists. And the other person could have artists
- 42:06Speaker 1: that start with the letter S. And you go back
- 42:10Speaker 1: and forth guessing. Can I have Cage the Elephant?
- 42:14Speaker 4: No.
- 42:15Speaker 1: Can I have Drake? Yes, Canadian artists. Can I actually
- 42:18Speaker 1: bring a carpet? Yes. But you don't know that you
- 42:20Speaker 1: have to guess the category. If you get four, then
- 42:22Speaker 1: you can guess the category.
- 42:23Speaker 3: I like it.
- 42:24Speaker 1: I think it'd be worth a shot.
- 42:24Speaker 3: I'm all about trying new things. I like variety. It's variety.
- 42:28Speaker 3: We're a variety show.
- 42:30Speaker 1: I don't want to just beat these games into the
- 42:31Speaker 1: ground and then we never want to do them again.
- 42:33Speaker 1: We're a variety game show.
- 42:33Speaker 4: I love beating things into the ground.
- 42:35Speaker 6: I know.
- 42:35Speaker 3: I know. But I think giving it a break. I think.
- 42:39Speaker 3: And then if we give it a break, people can
- 42:41Speaker 3: let us know, like, oh, no, you should have done
- 42:43Speaker 3: Family Feud and whatever.
- 42:45Speaker 4: Have you ever played the green glass door riddle?
- 42:48Speaker 2: No.
- 42:51Speaker 4: That's crazy because I've played it multiple times and I
- 42:53Speaker 4: still don't remember.
- 42:56Speaker 1: None of us had heard of it for the record
- 42:57Speaker 1: when she brought this up, but we Googled it like
- 42:59Speaker 1: we do on this show.
- 43:00Speaker 5: It seems to have one outcome.
- 43:02Speaker 3: Yes.
- 43:03Speaker 5: You've played it multiple times.
- 43:04Speaker 4: It's a riddle.
- 43:05Speaker 1: Yes.
- 43:06Speaker 5: Yes.
- 43:06Speaker 4: Can I bring this behind the green glass door?
- 43:10Speaker 3: Okay.
- 43:11Speaker 4: I think it changes every time, actually.
- 43:18Speaker 3: It sounds like the same concept.
- 43:19Speaker 4: Yeah, but you can change the rule. You can?
- 43:22Speaker 1: I thought the rule states, according to what I've seen,
- 43:25Speaker 1: it's just a riddle, and that is the rule.
- 43:28Speaker 4: The double letter?
- 43:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 43:30Speaker 4: Spoiler alert. But there's a rule, and you have to
- 43:33Speaker 4: be like, can I bring Becca Through the green glass door?
- 43:37Speaker 4: And they'd be like, yes, you can bring Becca. And
- 43:39Speaker 4: then I'd be like, can I bring Tanya through the
- 43:40Speaker 4: green glass door? And they'd say, no, you can't bring Tanya,
- 43:42Speaker 4: but you can bring Becca.
- 43:43Speaker 5: Can I bring Poonana through the green glass door?
- 43:45Speaker 4: You can bring Poonana. So then you have to like,
- 43:47Speaker 4: through all the questions, you have to like find what
- 43:50Speaker 4: the rule is. And the rule is you can't, you
- 43:53Speaker 4: have to have two letters back to back.
- 43:56Speaker 3: What's the spelling of Poonana, please? Can I get a
- 43:59Speaker 3: spell check?
- 44:00Speaker 4: P-O-O-N-A-N-A.
- 44:03Speaker 1: Come on through.
- 44:03Speaker 3: Okay.
- 44:04Speaker 4: So it's just giving me that type of energy, that game.
- 44:07Speaker 4: But if you guys want to play it, I'm down
- 44:09Speaker 4: to try. I just would like it to be known
- 44:11Speaker 4: on record that I don't like it.
- 44:13Speaker 3: That's great.
- 44:15Speaker 1: That's no fun.
- 44:16Speaker 3: Mark and I can take the L.
- 44:17Speaker 2: All right, fine.
- 44:18Speaker 3: We'll try it. I'll still play.
- 44:20Speaker 4: I'm a team player. I'll play with the team.
- 44:25Speaker 3: Can I tell you that something that people are doing
- 44:27Speaker 3: when they're naming their children called name maxing is where
- 44:31Speaker 3: they blend two names to make one. So like Maeve
- 44:36Speaker 3: and Avery, Mavery.
- 44:38Speaker 4: The whole maxing trend.
- 44:41Speaker 3: Yeah, I think I'm getting over maxing.
- 44:42Speaker 4: I need the maxing to be done. Like Euromaxing, Hairmaxing, Lip, Makeupmaxing.
- 44:52Speaker 1: Chudmaxing.
- 44:53Speaker 4: What's a chud maxing?
- 44:54Speaker 1: My kids tell me they're chud maxing and that means
- 44:56Speaker 1: they're not doing anything. They're just laying in bed all
- 44:58Speaker 1: day scrolling.
- 44:58Speaker 3: I'm always chud maxing.
- 45:00Speaker 1: There you go.
- 45:01Speaker 3: I'm never not chud maxing. I'm about to delete social
- 45:04Speaker 3: media off my phone.
- 45:05Speaker 1: I know.
- 45:06Speaker 4: It really can suck you in. It like really can
- 45:09Speaker 4: suck you in.
- 45:09Speaker 1: I know.
- 45:10Speaker 3: I might just, I might use the brick and brick
- 45:13Speaker 3: my phone and then give it to Haley to go hide.
- 45:16Speaker 3: And then if I need it or something, then she can.
- 45:20Speaker 4: But that's what the brick is for. You brick it.
- 45:22Speaker 2: I know.
- 45:23Speaker 4: Oh, you're saying you just unbrick your phone whenever you
- 45:25Speaker 4: want it.
- 45:26Speaker 3: Yeah. You just go and scan it.
- 45:29Speaker 4: Okay, hold on. We didn't really resolve that issue. This
- 45:31Speaker 4: is a podcast that we resolve issues.
- 45:34Speaker 3: What issue?
- 45:35Speaker 4: Are we going to play the new game with Mark?
- 45:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 45:38Speaker 4: Mark, we're going to play the new game with you.
- 45:39Speaker 1: I'm ready with it.
- 45:40Speaker 3: And we also.
- 45:41Speaker 4: You have two days to think about it.
- 45:42Speaker 3: There was some feedback.
- 45:43Speaker 1: I'm going to make it good.
- 45:45Speaker 3: One of my favorite things is that someone in the
- 45:48Speaker 3: Facebook group was like, It bothers me that they act
- 45:51Speaker 3: like they do the podcast on separate days. I'm like,
- 45:53Speaker 3: you guys, that's the whole joke. We're not trying to like. Right.
- 45:57Speaker 1: That's why it's a little inside joke.
- 45:59Speaker 3: It's just a bit, you guys.
- 46:00Speaker 1: Here's the thing. If you're new to the podcast, then
- 46:03Speaker 1: you don't get the joke. But if you're old school scrubbers,
- 46:05Speaker 1: you get the joke. And that's why it's fun.
- 46:07Speaker 3: I think they might be old school scrubbers.
- 46:10Speaker 1: It's a little cookie. It's a little fun, little inside thing.
- 46:14Speaker 1: for the scrubbers.
- 46:15Speaker 4: So we do record everything on Mondays and we play
- 46:18Speaker 4: them on Mondays and Thursdays because you can't get too
- 46:21Speaker 4: much good stuff on one day.
- 46:27Speaker 3: But what I was going to say is that the
- 46:30Speaker 3: argument from the don't say the same thing was not
- 46:32Speaker 3: so much about your Cracker Barrel. It was about Twister. Yeah,
- 46:35Speaker 3: your Twister. I guess in my.
- 46:37Speaker 1: Oh, that's not a board game?
- 46:38Speaker 3: Which no one corrected me.
- 46:39Speaker 1: Because when I said.
- 46:39Speaker 3: Twister, I was like.
- 46:41Speaker 4: Quick to jump on me, but not on Becca, huh?
- 46:43Speaker 1: But we have it in our board games. Amongst our
- 46:45Speaker 1: board games is Twister.
- 46:46Speaker 3: And it's a... board that you spin. The spinner's on
- 46:49Speaker 3: a board.
- 46:50Speaker 5: Who's saying it's not a board game?
- 46:52Speaker 4: I saw several.
- 46:53Speaker 5: I will fight each and every.
- 46:55Speaker 3: One of you.
- 46:55Speaker 4: The tots were coming after Becca because they were like
- 46:57Speaker 4: Cracker Bell's not the issue.
- 46:59Speaker 3: It's always the tots. What do I do to them?
- 47:03Speaker 3: All I'm doing is trying to be trying to give
- 47:08Speaker 3: them content.
- 47:10Speaker 5: Twister is a game with a board and it's made
- 47:12Speaker 5: by Milton Bradley. That's a board game.
- 47:13Speaker 3: Thank you. Case. Clothes.
- 47:16Speaker 2: Tots.
- 47:17Speaker 5: What is it if not a board game?
- 47:19Speaker 3: It's a.
- 47:19Speaker 5: It's an aerobic... A mat?
- 47:22Speaker 1: But is it a board game? Do you have to
- 47:24Speaker 1: have pieces that you move around a board? Is that
- 47:26Speaker 1: what makes it a board game? Because then it's not
- 47:28Speaker 1: a board game.
- 47:29Speaker 2: I mean.
- 47:29Speaker 3: Hold on. I'm... I actually, when I said Twister, I
- 47:32Speaker 3: gave a physical skill.
- 47:34Speaker 4: Is Twister a board game? Yes, Twister is a physical
- 47:37Speaker 4: party game, often considered a board game, although it's played
- 47:40Speaker 4: on a mat on the floor rather than a traditional board.
- 47:42Speaker 4: So it's really a party game.
- 47:43Speaker 3: But it is considered a board game.
- 47:45Speaker 1: Facts.
- 47:47Speaker 3: But anyways, I love you tots, even though y'all come
- 47:51Speaker 3: at me.
- 47:51Speaker 1: Well, I will have a new don't say the same
- 47:55Speaker 1: thing challenge on Thursday.
- 47:58Speaker 3: I'm just saying, like, we got through them all, but
- 48:01Speaker 3: I would like to get through with a clean no argument.
- 48:04Speaker 3: No arguments.
- 48:05Speaker 4: I'm up for the challenge maxing.
- 48:10Speaker 3: Nice.
- 48:11Speaker 4: I'm so funny. I think we should end it here, honestly.
- 48:13Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 48:14Speaker 3: It's time to say goodbye, and we will be back
- 48:16Speaker 3: on Thursday with a new episode, and we love you
- 48:19Speaker 3: all so much.
- 48:20Speaker 4: Love you.
- 48:21Speaker 3: And have a wonderful week. Bye. Bye. Bye.
- 48:24Speaker 2: Bye. Bye.
