- 2:35Speaker 3: may you have like superhuman smell? It smells musty and dank.
- 2:40Speaker 3: I can't control it smells like it smells like the
- 2:42Speaker 3: material that it is.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Mine smells nice. One has a nice Pheromone said.
- 2:47Speaker 8: That one actually smells better than mine.
- 2:50Speaker 1: And you're breathing into yours now too. Yeah, you might
- 2:53Speaker 1: be the hot breast champion.
- 2:56Speaker 3: You got some hot breath. No, I don't, it's hot.
- 2:59Speaker 8: You're extremely secure about my breath smell. Yeah, because someone
- 3:03Speaker 8: told me that my breath smells bad a couple of
- 3:05Speaker 8: years ago, and Shane Shane Gillis told me my breath
- 3:09Speaker 8: smelled but oh wow, yeah multiple times. No, But then
- 3:13Speaker 8: he said it to Chris O'Connor too, and then I
- 3:14Speaker 8: was like, I think he just is sensitive to smell.
- 3:17Speaker 1: You know, the Japanese they tell you not to wear
- 3:20Speaker 1: cologne like out there, Like if you if you were
- 3:23Speaker 1: coloone into a restaurant, we reserve the right to ask
- 3:25Speaker 1: you to leave the.
- 3:26Speaker 3: Restaurant because it affects the taste.
- 3:29Speaker 1: No, just because they're sensitive to smell. Wo Shane might
- 3:32Speaker 1: be Japanese.
- 3:33Speaker 3: A little bit. He's got a little Japanese in them.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Someone once told me that that song I'm Turning Japanese
- 3:39Speaker 3: was some metaphor for masturbation, pixelated penis turning Japanese. I
- 3:45Speaker 3: really turning Japanese. I really think.
- 3:46Speaker 1: So they're coming, They're coming.
- 3:48Speaker 3: That That is what someone told me. But I don't
- 3:51Speaker 3: believe it.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Or is it, like, is there an old adage about
- 3:55Speaker 1: beating off, beating dick to the point of you're getting.
- 3:58Speaker 8: Japanese people even mass I feel like they don't have
- 4:00Speaker 8: time for that.
- 4:02Speaker 1: I don't know, too busy entertaining client.
- 4:04Speaker 8: Yeah, they drank all night and then they sleep on
- 4:07Speaker 8: the street and then they go right back to work.
- 4:09Speaker 3: It was Reuben fischer Baum who said it, and he
- 4:13Speaker 3: was smart. He ended up at Yale one day. We
- 4:15Speaker 3: were coming back from Williston West Church where we'd done
- 4:19Speaker 3: an all school assembly, and we were on a bus.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Baum met a church sounds incongruous.
- 4:24Speaker 3: It was pretty non denominational school, not denominational, and and
- 4:29Speaker 3: in congru was a little bit. Ruben spotted a twenty
- 4:32Speaker 3: dollars bill on the street as our bus drove past,
- 4:35Speaker 3: it just sitting in a pile of leaves. And it
- 4:40Speaker 3: was off our school property, and we were middle school
- 4:45Speaker 3: and we pulled in the buses and he got out
- 4:48Speaker 3: and he ran across the street and got it, and
- 4:50Speaker 3: we were all thinking, oh, no, he's going to get
- 4:51Speaker 3: in trouble for leaving school grounds. It was only across
- 4:54Speaker 3: the street, but he brought it back, and then we
- 4:57Speaker 3: all felt that for keeping a look out, cheering him on.
- 5:01Speaker 3: I guess this was just a time when we thought
- 5:04Speaker 3: you were entitled. Surely you're going to divide that up.
- 5:09Speaker 3: And he went and bought I think fifteen chocolate chip cookies, damn,
- 5:13Speaker 3: and did not give much away.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Well that would have been I mean, if it's just
- 5:17Speaker 1: the twenty dollars bill, it's almost impossible to divide. He's like,
- 5:20Speaker 1: I'm taking this home, putting it in my piggyback. I'm
- 5:22Speaker 1: saving it for a rainy day. If it's fucking chocolate
- 5:25Speaker 1: chip cookies, that's one of the most universal currencies that
- 5:29Speaker 1: there are.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Pretty divisible, it's very divisible. Not really how many people
- 5:32Speaker 3: were there, there must have been at least six of
- 5:35Speaker 3: us who wanted.
- 5:36Speaker 8: It six and he has fifteen cookies.
- 5:39Speaker 3: That's definitely not out. It was too many.
- 5:43Speaker 1: He could have taken home some cookies and still broken
- 5:46Speaker 1: the boys off. I would have snitched at that point.
- 5:48Speaker 3: I think you really you cap out at four cookies. Yeah,
- 5:51Speaker 3: Reuben fischer Baum was incredible at geography, would have given
- 5:58Speaker 3: KB a run for his money. They were they were
- 6:00Speaker 3: the same type of thing. They were autistic.
- 6:04Speaker 1: I guess can't be good at geography without a touch
- 6:08Speaker 1: of auctivism. Now, sure, have you ever seen the geo
- 6:10Speaker 1: guesser guys who are just incredible?
- 6:12Speaker 3: Yeah? KB, No, there's there's ones that are better.
- 6:14Speaker 1: There's guys who are they'll they'll just see a road
- 6:17Speaker 1: and they'll they'll sing.
- 6:20Speaker 3: There's tricking the.
- 6:22Speaker 8: I think it's similar to the crossword. I think it's
- 6:24Speaker 8: like when you do the crossword, because I did the
- 6:25Speaker 8: crossword with KB and there was like questions where like
- 6:28Speaker 8: then he has like if it has a question mark,
- 6:30Speaker 8: it means it's like a riddle or something like that.
- 6:33Speaker 3: What does it mean? Yeah, like question mark? Yeah, pun. Yeah.
- 6:38Speaker 8: I think there's I think there's different like they look
- 6:40Speaker 8: at things that you wouldn't normally look at like they
- 6:43Speaker 8: look at like the street signs.
- 6:44Speaker 1: They look at all that ship that makes sense, like
- 6:47Speaker 1: the gravel roads.
- 6:48Speaker 3: Yeah, they're driving on.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Yeah, speaking of Reuben Fisher bomb, though.
- 6:52Speaker 3: I think it was Baum.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Excuse me, I was saying balm bow Ruben Fisher Baum.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Chocolate chip cookies were different than though they were. We've
- 7:03Speaker 1: ascended to a point in time where chocolate chip cookies
- 7:07Speaker 1: are like a high value menu item that you're paying. Yeah,
- 7:11Speaker 1: like seven to nine dollars for.
- 7:13Speaker 3: Their pricing cookie. They're pricing these days.
- 7:16Speaker 8: You know, as a good chocolate chip cookie is the
- 7:17Speaker 8: Amtrak but one in the plastic rass, it's a very
- 7:21Speaker 8: good chocolate cookie.
- 7:22Speaker 3: Town. You're not of a good salty cookie? Well you
- 7:26Speaker 3: know what you are? Correct? Yeah, it is salty. Yeah,
- 7:30Speaker 3: now that I think about it, and I salt is
- 7:32Speaker 3: maybe the key ingreen.
- 7:33Speaker 8: Yeah, it's a good cookie because I'm I'm not a
- 7:36Speaker 8: big by cookie person. I'm more of a when my
- 7:39Speaker 8: mom makes cookies.
- 7:40Speaker 3: I'll eat a cookie, yeah, home baked. Yeah.
- 7:42Speaker 8: But like the Amtrak one I got one time out
- 7:46Speaker 8: of a I was extremely hungry and it was it
- 7:48Speaker 8: was damn good.
- 7:49Speaker 3: It's not bad. They have a good blondie on the
- 7:51Speaker 3: Amtrak as well.
- 7:53Speaker 1: I saw a line around like past Crumble Cookie yesterday
- 7:58Speaker 1: riding my bike, and it was basically it was like
- 8:03Speaker 1: John's of Bleaker Street. It like circled down the block.
- 8:06Speaker 1: It was so many people waiting to get a Crumble cookie.
- 8:09Speaker 3: Were they giving them away for free? They might have
- 8:11Speaker 3: been doing a promotion like that.
- 8:12Speaker 1: It must have been some shit like that. But yes,
- 8:15Speaker 1: I can't believe that there's such a market for cookies.
- 8:18Speaker 1: I love cookies, and they we have had a considerable
- 8:21Speaker 1: amount of progress in cookie technology. I mean Michael foster
- 8:25Speaker 1: Blom must have been making He must have been buying
- 8:28Speaker 1: hard cookies with no bend to them, barely a stick
- 8:33Speaker 1: of butter among all fifteen. Yeah, but now there's a
- 8:35Speaker 1: stick of butter and every Crumble cookie.
- 8:37Speaker 3: That you get, that's true.
- 8:38Speaker 1: They're so soft and buttery.
- 8:40Speaker 3: I remember the days in New York City where there
- 8:42Speaker 3: was one cookie to rule them all, and it was
- 8:44Speaker 3: the Levane Cookie. And there was only one location in
- 8:47Speaker 3: the entire country, and it was on the Upper West
- 8:49Speaker 3: Side near what that fuck Lincoln Center? Lincoln Center, and
- 8:55Speaker 3: you'd go and then it was just this tiny, little
- 8:57Speaker 3: place downstairs.
- 8:58Speaker 1: You see the opera, you got a cookie.
- 9:00Speaker 3: Bing bang boung and bing bang boum. It was a destination.
- 9:07Speaker 3: You'd go wait in line, you get the cookie. And
- 9:09Speaker 3: then they franchised Anothery're everywhere everywhere, but they're still good.
- 9:13Speaker 8: I saw a video of a I live right near
- 9:17Speaker 8: a Blank Street Coffee.
- 9:18Speaker 3: Yes, and I saw private Equity owned Yeah.
- 9:21Speaker 8: I saw a video of Sabrina Carpenter serving coffee at
- 9:24Speaker 8: a Blank Street and I'm texting everyone and I'm like,
- 9:26Speaker 8: I guess Sabrina Carpenter was like right next to my
- 9:28Speaker 8: I didn't realize that. It's like one of the most
- 9:30Speaker 8: popular coffeeby franchises.
- 9:33Speaker 3: In the world. Yeah everywhere. Well, they were built, that's
- 9:37Speaker 3: a it's an interesting business model. It wasn't like we
- 9:40Speaker 3: started a little one. Yeah that got popular. We added
- 9:43Speaker 3: two more locations and now they're everywhere. It was they
- 9:47Speaker 3: started out of the gates with a ton of locations.
- 9:49Speaker 3: But I literally thought that there was one. I'm adding
- 9:52Speaker 3: new information.
- 9:53Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, I thought there was one Blank Street Coffee.
- 9:57Speaker 8: They're global, I understand, yeah, and I got them an
- 10:00Speaker 8: ass why yeah, no, I.
- 10:02Speaker 3: Get it, But you take that information in no, I did.
- 10:06Speaker 8: It just wasn't interesting to me at all, and nor
- 10:09Speaker 8: was what you so and I said was a good story.
- 10:11Speaker 8: And then you went to add on like that you
- 10:13Speaker 8: were trying to do a little like I rift. I
- 10:15Speaker 8: wouldn't call it riffing. I rift, I wouldn't call it
- 10:17Speaker 8: riffing A layered No, I'm trying to think of a
- 10:20Speaker 8: good example of what a riff would be there.
- 10:22Speaker 3: No, don't don't worry.
- 10:23Speaker 8: Maybe like a jab like you, you fucking moron, something
- 10:29Speaker 8: like that.
- 10:29Speaker 1: We might be a Carpenter podcast.
- 10:32Speaker 3: It could be, and she's on top of the world.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Well, we build on things and she's on top of
- 10:36Speaker 1: the world. It goes both ways, like we're basically how
- 10:40Speaker 1: there's like Taylor Watch or whatever, Swift Watch. Yeah, we're
- 10:43Speaker 1: Carpenter Watch.
- 10:44Speaker 3: We gotta start tracking her private jet Carpenter bees. You
- 10:47Speaker 3: think she flies private? Yeah, yeah, for sure, she definitely.
- 10:51Speaker 1: We need to put that. We need to cobble together
- 10:53Speaker 1: some cash. If she doesn't, she.
- 10:54Speaker 3: Might not have her own plane, but she's definitely got somebody.
- 10:59Speaker 3: Like concert venues are sending her on a net chet's
- 11:03Speaker 3: account that they have, like Live Nation is sending her planes.
- 11:06Speaker 1: That's right, right, if these if our favorite stand up
- 11:08Speaker 1: comedians are flying private whose names I won't say.
- 11:14Speaker 8: I think most of them nowadays. Francis flew private to
- 11:16Speaker 8: a special taping. I was like, I feel a little excessive.
- 11:19Speaker 8: You're just going to Chicago.
- 11:20Speaker 1: He flew in a very small plane where he was.
- 11:23Speaker 1: He flew in a plane that was open on the top.
- 11:25Speaker 3: And flew the plane.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Yeah, he was flying the plane. I had to take
- 11:30Speaker 1: classes Amelia Earhart style.
- 11:32Speaker 3: I flew the right Brothers plane. Yeah, holding on.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Someone pushed it from either side.
- 11:38Speaker 3: I had to wear those goddamn goggles. No. I flew Delta,
- 11:43Speaker 3: of course, of course, of course, of course, the one,
- 11:46Speaker 3: the only, the Delta. No United.
- 11:49Speaker 1: I'm telling you, I was looking at United flights and
- 11:51Speaker 1: I cannot do it. I flew United back from fucking
- 11:54Speaker 1: Arizona from like the super Bowl or some dumb ship
- 11:57Speaker 1: that I was doing out there, and it sucked.
- 12:00Speaker 8: The meals are so the meals are so much better
- 12:04Speaker 8: than the Delta.
- 12:04Speaker 3: It was.
- 12:05Speaker 1: It was the floppiest piece of lettuce i'd ever. It
- 12:08Speaker 1: was so wilted. You get it.
- 12:10Speaker 8: That's just a food that you don't get on a plane.
- 12:12Speaker 3: You don't get the lettuce. Oh my god. I cooked
- 12:17Speaker 3: two nights ago a ton of broccolini, a pound and
- 12:22Speaker 3: a half of Alaskan king salmon, and a gigantic pot
- 12:26Speaker 3: of brown rice, your meal prepping. And I cooked it
- 12:29Speaker 3: all and I ate a bunch of it, and then
- 12:31Speaker 3: I put a bunch of it into a tupperware container.
- 12:34Speaker 3: And last night I was sitting and absent mindedly eating it,
- 12:39Speaker 3: and I looked in and saw what I thought was
- 12:41Speaker 3: sort of a fleck of dirt. It was a bug. No,
- 12:47Speaker 3: in your broccolini, in my broccoli kind of bug? I
- 12:50Speaker 3: It was as if it was a fly, big good rip.
- 12:57Speaker 8: Yeah, exactly, I'm a professional, you fucking pussy.
- 13:02Speaker 3: There we go, tagging it up, tag it, tagging bag it. Wait,
- 13:06Speaker 3: what kind of bug was it? It was a It
- 13:09Speaker 3: was as if it was almost like a reverse lady bug,
- 13:13Speaker 3: but it was bigger a beetle inside. It must have
- 13:16Speaker 3: been a beetle of some kind. And I wait, did
- 13:20Speaker 3: it land on there? No, it was dead in the food,
- 13:23Speaker 3: which meant that I cooked it with the broccolini. It
- 13:27Speaker 3: was probably in the broccolini branch and I cooked it. No,
- 13:34Speaker 3: And I don't know. I ate around it, but I
- 13:37Speaker 3: was pretty. I didn't feel great. Does that gross you out? Like?
- 13:42Speaker 3: Are you or did you? Bugs? Disgusted you? Because I
- 13:44Speaker 3: eating my food? Yeah, food makes sense. In my food,
- 13:47Speaker 3: I have no problem grabbing a spider or real swat
- 13:50Speaker 3: and a thing or I got no issues with that.
- 13:53Speaker 3: Cockroaches even not bothered. But in my inside my food,
- 13:58Speaker 3: I still finished the food. You No, I didn't need
- 14:00Speaker 3: a cook right? A water bug?
- 14:02Speaker 1: Yeah? What?
- 14:03Speaker 3: Oh of the most aging and a scorpion, I wouldn't
- 14:06Speaker 3: have a problem. Probably eating a scorp scorpion wasn't bad
- 14:08Speaker 3: because I know people eat them.
- 14:10Speaker 8: It's very It's just like an intense chip. Yeah, it's
- 14:14Speaker 8: extremely chewy, but it's very dry. It's like it's like
- 14:17Speaker 8: shattering in your mouth.
- 14:18Speaker 3: Yeah, it was.
- 14:19Speaker 1: The water bug was discussed.
- 14:21Speaker 3: The water bug is a quarter of a bite of
- 14:23Speaker 3: anything that would would ooze or or burst in my
- 14:28Speaker 3: mouth after taking a bite, which I think of a
- 14:31Speaker 3: water bug would do.
- 14:32Speaker 8: Is a water bug was like biting into like a
- 14:34Speaker 8: couch cushion.
- 14:36Speaker 3: Yeah it was. It was.
- 14:37Speaker 8: It was not crumbly at all. It was extremely thick
- 14:41Speaker 8: and tough.
- 14:42Speaker 3: What Yeah, I would have thought the thor axe was
- 14:45Speaker 3: filled with goo.
- 14:46Speaker 8: I think it probably dries out when they cook it.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Maybe so, or the goo is so dense in the
- 14:51Speaker 1: thoraxe that it doesn't burst like you'd want a gusher
- 14:56Speaker 1: to burst.
- 14:56Speaker 3: Nasty. I don't want it to burst. That is the herd.
- 14:59Speaker 3: That is the worst thing I've seen on When we
- 15:01Speaker 3: used to watch Man versus Wild before bearck Grylls revealed
- 15:05Speaker 3: that he was a fraud spending the night in red
- 15:08Speaker 3: roof ins, I was equally.
- 15:10Speaker 1: I had the same sensation when I would watch Timon
- 15:12Speaker 1: and Pumba bite into the bugs while they sang Kuna matata.
- 15:16Speaker 3: You were grossed out. That seems like for some reason
- 15:22Speaker 3: I liked it for them, I hated I found it
- 15:25Speaker 3: appetizing because I was able to embody the warthog and
- 15:30Speaker 3: the what is he a mer cat?
- 15:31Speaker 1: A meer cat? Yeah, they took too much pleasure. I mean,
- 15:34Speaker 1: I just wouldn't have been able to enjoy it. I
- 15:36Speaker 1: guess they were just enjoying it like it was a
- 15:38Speaker 1: sweet shop or something like that.
- 15:40Speaker 3: I think they intentionally made it gross. Well, sure, but
- 15:44Speaker 3: all the different colors and they'd lift a log and
- 15:46Speaker 3: there'd be all these different things, and they'd put it
- 15:48Speaker 3: on a leaf and create sort of a cast role
- 15:50Speaker 3: type of thing. It was.
- 15:51Speaker 8: It's weird because I asked the question about the bugs
- 15:53Speaker 8: because I've always hated I've always been disgusted by bugs.
- 15:56Speaker 8: But since I started fly fishing, it's like you're round
- 15:59Speaker 8: the bug and you got to pick up the rocks
- 16:01Speaker 8: and see what kind of bugs are, And none of
- 16:02Speaker 8: those bugs gross me out, like we we had like
- 16:05Speaker 8: salmon flies crawling all over us, which are like this big,
- 16:08Speaker 8: they're fucking but for some reason, like none of those
- 16:11Speaker 8: bugs bother me. But spider is still just fucking like discos.
- 16:16Speaker 8: Like I saw a spider and it's like you got
- 16:17Speaker 8: to get it off of you immediately.
- 16:19Speaker 3: It's not great. Spiders aren't great. And the sensation of
- 16:23Speaker 3: walking in the woods and your face goes through a
- 16:26Speaker 3: spider web, Oh, it's not worse. But one time when
- 16:29Speaker 3: I was a child, I was in a field of milkweed.
- 16:32Speaker 3: And a milkweed it is the long stem with the
- 16:38Speaker 3: bulb which will open and has sort of the feathery filaments.
- 16:43Speaker 3: Every time there's if you break it, there's a little
- 16:47Speaker 3: white sort of milk syrup that comes. But it is
- 16:50Speaker 3: the food of choice for the monarch caterpillar, which will
- 16:56Speaker 3: turn into a monarch butterfly. Turn into a monarch butterfly, well,
- 16:59Speaker 3: crystallize chrysalis rights the crystal metamorphosizes. Yeah, one of the
- 17:05Speaker 3: coolest things in nature, truly.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Yeah, it's crazy that they know what to do.
- 17:11Speaker 3: Monarch butterflies are at risk, and I think it's because
- 17:14Speaker 3: of the depletion of milkweed.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Really, I'm probably because you were stomping through that field.
- 17:19Speaker 3: Well, I wasn't stomping. I was dancing, frolicking, frolicking, and
- 17:25Speaker 3: I came upon an incredibly symmetrical spider web that was
- 17:29Speaker 3: glistening in the sun. There may have been dew upon it.
- 17:33Speaker 3: And this was the type of child I was. I was,
- 17:37Speaker 3: and maybe I've told this story before, but I was
- 17:39Speaker 3: always in enraptured by the violence of nature. And I
- 17:44Speaker 3: caught a cricket in my hand. There were crickets throughout
- 17:49Speaker 3: the field, and I hunted one down and I caught it,
- 17:51Speaker 3: and then I went over to the spider web and
- 17:53Speaker 3: I threw it into the spider web. Oh my god,
- 17:56Speaker 3: And I'm not kidding you. The spider immediately raced down
- 18:02Speaker 3: and wrapped it as fast as it could much like
- 18:06Speaker 3: Frodo in Lord of the Rings. Yes, and uh, I'm
- 18:11Speaker 3: sorry it.
- 18:11Speaker 8: Or a spider. What do you mean, much like a
- 18:16Speaker 8: spider would.
- 18:17Speaker 3: But that's what's that's in Lord of the Rings Frodo
- 18:19Speaker 3: gets caught by a spider.
- 18:21Speaker 8: Yeah, I just meant like a spider would also do that.
- 18:24Speaker 8: But that was what happened exactly, So it's not like that.
- 18:29Speaker 3: It was that. It's exactly. And then I gave a metaphor,
- 18:33Speaker 3: and then you brought us right back to the real version.
- 18:35Speaker 3: Trying to keep you on track. You could have said,
- 18:39Speaker 3: go back to the spider.
- 18:41Speaker 8: No, I just wanted to get you back on track.
- 18:43Speaker 8: I don't think I was far continue it then sucked
- 18:49Speaker 8: the life out of the thing. You could see the
- 18:54Speaker 8: skeleton draining of fluid in parts into the mouth of
- 18:59Speaker 8: the spider. I watched for I don't know half an hour.
- 19:01Speaker 8: What damn I fed a wild spider a cricket.
- 19:05Speaker 1: That's kind of twisted. It's godlike, Yeah, if God was
- 19:10Speaker 1: vengeful like that.
- 19:11Speaker 3: God has a sense of humor.
- 19:13Speaker 1: God has a mean, nasty streak, just planting genocides all
- 19:17Speaker 1: over the world like he does. But uh, like that's like,
- 19:21Speaker 1: that's like if you took a fucking led a cow
- 19:24Speaker 1: to a slaughterhouse.
- 19:27Speaker 3: That's pretty high up on the food chain. I thought
- 19:29Speaker 3: I was low enough on the food chain that I
- 19:32Speaker 3: wasn't negligible interfering too much.
- 19:34Speaker 8: Yeah, it's kind of like when you like, like blow
- 19:36Speaker 8: up ants with a with a magnifying glass.
- 19:40Speaker 3: Or when you throw a caterpillar into a spider web.
- 19:47Speaker 3: Not quite my capill cricket, cricket. Yeah, that's why you
- 19:51Speaker 3: lost me, remember when we were talking about that. Yeah,
- 19:54Speaker 3: I get what you did. No, I'm trying to get
- 19:56Speaker 3: you back on track because you said something and it
- 19:59Speaker 3: made me sense. It made sense, made damn good sense.
- 20:05Speaker 1: That's a twisted move to not be scared enough, or
- 20:08Speaker 1: like I'd be scared. I would get the hebgb's just
- 20:10Speaker 1: from touching the fucking cricket. Like, I'm not grabbing a
- 20:13Speaker 1: cricket at at that at that young age.
- 20:15Speaker 3: You close your fist, but you keep you keep it
- 20:17Speaker 3: in there and it bounces around.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know i'd be scared. I don't know
- 20:21Speaker 1: why it was. I mean, I'm still skied out a
- 20:23Speaker 1: little bit by bugs and shit like that. But now
- 20:27Speaker 1: I'm the fucking man of the house.
- 20:28Speaker 3: I gotta kill him. Yeah, that's on you.
- 20:30Speaker 8: When we were in Wyoming, you would, you would. We
- 20:31Speaker 8: went fishing at this one spot that was in a meadow.
- 20:34Speaker 8: It was like a creek that ran through a meadow.
- 20:37Speaker 8: It was like a meadow, and.
- 20:40Speaker 3: You would. I didn't say anything you were going to
- 20:44Speaker 3: I could tell and uh.
- 20:47Speaker 8: And there was like all these grasshoppers around and you'd
- 20:50Speaker 8: just be walking either just be grasshoppers all over you.
- 20:53Speaker 8: But then when you would walk, the grasshoppers would jump
- 20:55Speaker 8: into the water and then the trout would go crazy.
- 20:57Speaker 3: That it was really cool. I've told you before. Or
- 21:00Speaker 3: Hemingway's Big Two Hearted River, the Nick Joan, No, the
- 21:04Speaker 3: Nick Jonas something stories, the Nick whatever stories? Owen, could
- 21:09Speaker 3: you help me with that, I'm sorry. The protagonist of
- 21:12Speaker 3: Big Two Hearted River, which is Hemingway's short story collection,
- 21:17Speaker 3: where that is a short story within the collection, Nick
- 21:21Speaker 3: what Jones, Nick Jonas, Nick Adams. Maybe it might be
- 21:27Speaker 3: Nick Adams, Yes, is it? I don't know.
- 21:30Speaker 1: I'm just trying to I was trying to affirm.
- 21:31Speaker 3: There is a passage that you would love sass. Yeah
- 21:35Speaker 3: it is Nick Adams. Look at us. Uh, where he
- 21:40Speaker 3: talks about He did exactly what you did. He lifted
- 21:43Speaker 3: a log to see what type of bugs were there, hatch,
- 21:48Speaker 3: and then he caught a one and he put it
- 21:52Speaker 3: on his rod and he put the hook through it.
- 21:58Speaker 3: And he I still remember this. Hemingway wrote that the
- 22:02Speaker 3: bug spit vinegar when he puts the hook through it.
- 22:08Speaker 1: Ook.
- 22:09Speaker 3: You know, it's not not literally just exploded juices and guts,
- 22:14Speaker 3: and he's angry, he's spinning it out. I never forgot
- 22:16Speaker 3: the imagery of that. I'm reading Hevingway right now, reading
- 22:20Speaker 3: for Whom the Bell Tolls?
- 22:22Speaker 1: Is it?
- 22:22Speaker 2: Uh?
- 22:22Speaker 1: Is it satisfying?
- 22:24Speaker 3: It's so great? Really, it's so great. Who does that?
- 22:29Speaker 1: Who does the bell toll for?
- 22:32Speaker 3: Well? I don't know. Actually what a Metallica song?
- 22:35Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what. That's what Hemingway got it from.
- 22:39Speaker 3: You don't see Whom in many titles except for Metallica. Hemingway.
- 22:44Speaker 3: What's so great about that book is are the weirdly
- 22:46Speaker 3: the sex scenes are actually incredible?
- 22:49Speaker 1: Do you get horny from them?
- 22:51Speaker 3: I get, yeah, I get a little bit horny, but also.
- 22:56Speaker 1: Imagine just getting hard for reading Brendan Jones, what's up, brother?
- 23:01Speaker 1: Do you need me?
- 23:03Speaker 3: Okay, I'll find you right after we're.
- 23:05Speaker 1: Talking Hemingway, we're seeing if he's getting if he gets
- 23:08Speaker 1: boners from reading.
- 23:11Speaker 3: Yeah he does. Guilty charge. You had a lot of.
- 23:17Speaker 8: Boners, all right, b Jones, He said Ernest after we
- 23:21Speaker 8: said we're talking heming Was there another Hemingway.
- 23:23Speaker 3: That we would be talking about. Yeah, No, not Earnest,
- 23:29Speaker 3: different guy, different author.
- 23:34Speaker 6: Uh.
- 23:34Speaker 1: Yeah, it is nice to get boned up from reading.
- 23:38Speaker 1: I definitely there was a time when we would get
- 23:42Speaker 1: a sign reading in like seventh eighth grade. I don't know,
- 23:46Speaker 1: I'm not sure. Maybe it was high school and there
- 23:48Speaker 1: were there was starting to be some like sexual there's
- 23:51Speaker 1: a little sexual nature to it, right, And I'd be
- 23:53Speaker 1: reading in the basement and I I treat myself to one.
- 23:59Speaker 3: Were you going book self, I probably would like sit it,
- 24:04Speaker 3: set it down. It's crazy, Wow, you were side reading.
- 24:07Speaker 3: I got boned up reading some Bokowski.
- 24:11Speaker 1: What's he talking about?
- 24:12Speaker 8: He's always talking about fucking.
- 24:14Speaker 3: Yeah that Sas loves this author. I've actually never read him. Really, No,
- 24:19Speaker 3: that's great. You ever treat yourself to It's kind of
- 24:21Speaker 3: a bad person. But he's good because he boosed a
- 24:23Speaker 3: lot or what he was like a pretty big womanizer.
- 24:27Speaker 1: Oh wow, what a scumback.
- 24:29Speaker 3: Wow.
- 24:29Speaker 8: It's like of him like beating up women.
- 24:32Speaker 1: And so that's different than womanizing, is it.
- 24:38Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 24:39Speaker 1: You're talking to a monogamous married man, so I wouldn't
- 24:44Speaker 1: know a damn thing.
- 24:45Speaker 3: About that about beating women? Is that how it goes?
- 24:47Speaker 8: Once you get married, you stop beating.
- 24:49Speaker 3: It's one of the valves you take, sweetheart, put some
- 24:52Speaker 3: cover up on that black guy. I don't want people
- 24:55Speaker 3: thinking if I'm out there womanizing.
- 25:01Speaker 1: It's the same thing. It's tantam out to do the
- 25:02Speaker 1: same thing.
- 25:03Speaker 3: I just I just got a book.
- 25:04Speaker 8: I just I got a book coming today from Amazon,
- 25:06Speaker 8: which one do it yourself? Bone fishing.
- 25:10Speaker 1: Jesus Christ, when will you end this fucking face?
- 25:15Speaker 8: I don't think it's gonna end, and I think I'm honestly,
- 25:17Speaker 8: I'm thinking about retiring from the podcasting comedy world and
- 25:19Speaker 8: pursuing fly fishing full time.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Imagine if we just watch you on like ESPN two
- 25:25Speaker 1: at ten o'clock on this Saturday morning, it would be
- 25:27Speaker 1: so nice. Bass Master Championships, We'll see you. You'll never
- 25:32Speaker 1: be as good as those dudes. That's like Hank thinking
- 25:35Speaker 1: that he could dunk.
- 25:36Speaker 3: Yeah, probably not.
- 25:37Speaker 8: Those guys fish their entire lives. Yeah, from like the
- 25:40Speaker 8: eight from like age five. Yeah, every day.
- 25:43Speaker 1: That's like Caleb thinking that he could break what or
- 25:46Speaker 1: like get on the PGA. Oh yeah, it's just not happening.
- 25:50Speaker 3: Who did Who was it that tweeted?
- 25:52Speaker 5: Uh?
- 25:54Speaker 8: Was it Wilson on the Jets tweeted that golf is
- 25:57Speaker 8: harder than football?
- 25:58Speaker 3: Did he say that? It was? Wasn't it Sauce Garden? Wait?
- 26:02Speaker 1: Did you see what Sauce Gardener also said? He was
- 26:04Speaker 1: like he quote tweeted Aiden Ross and was like, if
- 26:09Speaker 1: you're tweeting about like if you're homophobic, that actually means
- 26:13Speaker 1: your k Yeah.
- 26:14Speaker 3: I did see that.
- 26:15Speaker 1: That's a hilarious He's not He's not right, but he's
- 26:18Speaker 1: not wrong either. Yeah, he's not.
- 26:20Speaker 3: I think Sauce Gardener is a pretty big gamer and
- 26:22Speaker 3: he might be based too. Yeah.
- 26:25Speaker 1: You might also said Jews are on the media.
- 26:27Speaker 3: Yeah, he might have sauce Yeah, whoa.
- 26:30Speaker 1: So he's like the sauce on the Jets of the
- 26:32Speaker 1: Eagles Jets Jets. I wish he was on the Bird bro.
- 26:36Speaker 3: Who's the good corner on the Eagles? Slay Sleigh Darius yeah.
- 26:40Speaker 1: Yes, but he gets mad whenever reporters call him. Is
- 26:43Speaker 1: that an endlove of cash? That's a good idea.
- 26:50Speaker 8: I gotta start walking around with a stack like that.
- 26:52Speaker 3: I was in there a lot. How much thirty five hundred?
- 26:56Speaker 3: Damn for what moving expense? Damn? You get to pay
- 27:01Speaker 3: in cash? Sure do? He said? I said, how do
- 27:05Speaker 3: you like to be paid? And he goes, well, I
- 27:07Speaker 3: always love cash, and that was the end of that conversation.
- 27:10Speaker 3: That's surprising.
- 27:11Speaker 8: I don't know why people would want to get cash,
- 27:14Speaker 8: is like, I don't get paid in like online?
- 27:18Speaker 1: Yeah, because he's running a business and he's not going
- 27:21Speaker 1: to claim that cash.
- 27:22Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's true. Isn't it weird that? You know,
- 27:28Speaker 3: it's known, of course that businesses will accept cash and
- 27:31Speaker 3: not declare it, and yet that is facilitated by people
- 27:37Speaker 3: taking out huge sums of cash, which the I R
- 27:43Speaker 3: S is not flagging the fact that I just withdrew
- 27:46Speaker 3: three thousand, five hundred dollars of cash? Where did you
- 27:50Speaker 3: withdraw it from the bank? I just went to the bank.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Where the fuck else would he withdraw it from?
- 27:54Speaker 8: They got like money, They got like money stores they do.
- 27:58Speaker 8: What do you mean you can go to places and
- 28:00Speaker 8: just like get a ship ton of cash.
- 28:02Speaker 3: You're talking about casinos.
- 28:04Speaker 8: No, like I saw like there's like like the pawn
- 28:06Speaker 8: chops and stuff like that for a good you could
- 28:10Speaker 8: know you could go and be like I need cat,
- 28:12Speaker 8: I need I need ten grand and then just right.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Talk about loan sharks.
- 28:15Speaker 3: About loans. It's like a.
- 28:17Speaker 8: It's like a because sometimes if you want to get
- 28:18Speaker 8: a ton of cash, you have to like the bank
- 28:21Speaker 8: has to like order it.
- 28:22Speaker 1: A you're talking about check.
- 28:23Speaker 8: Like if I went to the bank and I was like,
- 28:24Speaker 8: give me everything I have in cash. They don't just
- 28:27Speaker 8: have that on pand yeah they do. I don't have
- 28:29Speaker 8: five thousand dollars laying around like that.
- 28:35Speaker 3: You just you see, I lie until you and then
- 28:40Speaker 3: you let yourself off. That's the whole point of.
- 28:42Speaker 1: The podcast, The Old Money Store.
- 28:49Speaker 8: The joke there was that I have only five thousand dollars.
- 28:53Speaker 3: Did you miss? Did you miss that? What wasn't funny? No,
- 28:56Speaker 3: it was really funny. And then I let you keep going.
- 28:59Speaker 8: And it sounded like I was, say, a large, large
- 29:01Speaker 8: sum of money that they don't have on hand.
- 29:03Speaker 3: I just I don't think there was enough firepower. That
- 29:05Speaker 3: was a good joke. We're gonna clip that out to
- 29:08Speaker 3: the joke.
- 29:09Speaker 1: That was all. The money store part was just a
- 29:11Speaker 1: set up to the.
- 29:12Speaker 3: No I did.
- 29:12Speaker 8: I genuinely when I was in Wyoming, I did see
- 29:14Speaker 8: a money like it was like need cash and it
- 29:18Speaker 8: was just like a store where he could just go
- 29:19Speaker 8: in and get cash.
- 29:20Speaker 3: You have to pay for the cash. I guess that
- 29:23Speaker 3: they're giving loans and you're putting interests on it.
- 29:26Speaker 8: I I'd assume it's like you write them a check
- 29:28Speaker 8: and then they give you that money. That amount of
- 29:29Speaker 8: money in cash, Okay.
- 29:33Speaker 3: It's like a shady ATM.
- 29:36Speaker 8: What's the max amount of money you could go right
- 29:38Speaker 8: now and get from the bank, because you couldn't if
- 29:41Speaker 8: you had like ten million dollars in your bank account.
- 29:44Speaker 8: You can't just walk into fucking Chase Bank and be
- 29:46Speaker 8: like any ten million dollars.
- 29:47Speaker 3: Oh I think that. I mean, I don't know what
- 29:50Speaker 3: a bank limit would be for cash. But if I
- 29:53Speaker 3: called my bank ahead of time and let them know
- 29:55Speaker 3: I wanted to make a huge withdrawal, yeah, I could
- 29:58Speaker 3: go to a bank. Are you either allowed to do that? Though? Like,
- 30:01Speaker 3: are you allowed to just go take out ten million?
- 30:03Speaker 3: That's sort of the point I'm making here is that
- 30:06Speaker 3: it's surprising to me that the IRS doesn't keep more
- 30:09Speaker 3: of an eye on people who take out huge sums
- 30:11Speaker 3: of money and be like, what the fuck did you
- 30:13Speaker 3: do with three thousand, five hundred dollars of cash. I
- 30:17Speaker 3: could be going to a casino, I could be paying
- 30:20Speaker 3: a friend, I could be doing anything, but they there's
- 30:24Speaker 3: no way to check that.
- 30:25Speaker 1: Yeah, and there's a lot of businesses that only do cash.
- 30:29Speaker 1: But I also, I mean to your point, like if
- 30:31Speaker 1: everybody took out their money from the banks simultaneously, all
- 30:35Speaker 1: the banks would collapse.
- 30:36Speaker 8: Well, I don't even think they would have the money.
- 30:37Speaker 1: To do that, Like no, like there's not enough money,
- 30:40Speaker 1: not even like cash on hand, Like they don't have
- 30:42Speaker 1: like the actual liquidity anywhere. Yeah, to they don't have
- 30:46Speaker 1: enough money to like banks just borrowing against banks against
- 30:51Speaker 1: loads and shit like that. We could collapse all of it.
- 30:53Speaker 1: It's like if everybody jumped in the United States at once,
- 30:56Speaker 1: we could make a tidal wave that would engulf China. Yeah,
- 30:59Speaker 1: and it's when the trail war.
- 31:00Speaker 8: It's kind of like, uh, like it's kind of like
- 31:05Speaker 8: the game stop stock thing, Like if we all just
- 31:07Speaker 8: took out all of our money, we would fuck all
- 31:10Speaker 8: The banks were like, uh, I.
- 31:12Speaker 1: Mean Freed is going to jail for like twenty five
- 31:16Speaker 1: years because at FTX they were not only did they
- 31:20Speaker 1: not have the liquidity, but he was like using other
- 31:23Speaker 1: people's money to like he was using money that people
- 31:26Speaker 1: deposited to do other shit. Wasn't just sitting there. He's
- 31:30Speaker 1: been a naughty boy who.
- 31:31Speaker 8: Didn't come up with the how did the bank start?
- 31:33Speaker 8: Who's the first person to come up with the bank? Probably,
- 31:35Speaker 8: I mean they were just like, we're gonna.
- 31:38Speaker 3: That's biblical times. We'll just hold on to it for you.
- 31:41Speaker 3: You need a way for people to borrow money in
- 31:46Speaker 3: order to build a society. Yeah, because people need to
- 31:51Speaker 3: start and you know they don't have the money, but
- 31:55Speaker 3: they need to buy a home. And then there's a
- 31:58Speaker 3: reason that the bank benefits. I saying, okay, I'll give
- 32:00Speaker 3: you whatever one hundred gold the balloons today, build your home,
- 32:05Speaker 3: and then we see that you have good that you've
- 32:08Speaker 3: been plowing the fields well, and we trust that in
- 32:12Speaker 3: a year you will come back and you will give
- 32:16Speaker 3: us one hundred and ten gold balloons.
- 32:19Speaker 1: I think I know who kicked it into high gear,
- 32:21Speaker 1: the fucking Rothschilds. Yeah, launch that shit. Treat yourself to
- 32:26Speaker 1: a little maybe a book or podcast on them.
- 32:29Speaker 3: M h. Good wine, the roths Child's wine, Lafitte, that's them.
- 32:36Speaker 3: They do Lafite Roth's Child. I think they're maybe mouton
- 32:43Speaker 3: as well. They have like two of the five first
- 32:45Speaker 3: hearts from Bordeaux. And they also I think do like
- 32:50Speaker 3: opus is. I think Rothschild. I'm pretty sure. I think
- 32:53Speaker 3: it is.
- 32:57Speaker 1: Chut your non drinking ass up.
- 32:59Speaker 3: I think roths Child actually does zero too.
- 33:03Speaker 1: They do athletic brewing. I'm pretty sure the Rothschild's got
- 33:09Speaker 1: a mayor. Rothschild was the original Rothschild, and then he
- 33:13Speaker 1: sent his five sons to the corners of Europe, one
- 33:16Speaker 1: to each country, to start banks in each country. And
- 33:19Speaker 1: it was probably the French ones that started all these
- 33:21Speaker 1: good ass lines. Interesting, it had to be everyone's in
- 33:24Speaker 1: fucking France right now. In Spain, everybody I saw a
- 33:29Speaker 1: TikTok about it.
- 33:30Speaker 3: I don't know anybody in France or Spain really Yeah,
- 33:35Speaker 3: well you're fucking dumb, then, bro I must be.
- 33:38Speaker 1: They said, uh that this is the year of the quiet,
- 33:41Speaker 1: quiet euro trip.
- 33:42Speaker 3: Oh that's kind of nice.
- 33:45Speaker 1: You just pop up in fucking that's cool.
- 33:47Speaker 3: I dig that.
- 33:48Speaker 8: Yeah, I know you got where When are you gonna
- 33:51Speaker 8: start doing some shows in Europe?
- 33:52Speaker 1: You got to do a show in Europe.
- 33:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I feel like that's soon for you.
- 33:55Speaker 8: Where to London? I feel like you can do London.
- 33:58Speaker 8: I mean, I guess, I guess it's including what I
- 34:00Speaker 8: just said about Europe. But outside of America, I think
- 34:03Speaker 8: you could easily do London, Australia, dub leg I don't know.
- 34:07Speaker 3: If I have that.
- 34:07Speaker 8: Yeah, you definitely could.
- 34:09Speaker 3: That's kind.
- 34:10Speaker 1: But I think you go right to you go to
- 34:11Speaker 1: the Ireland, England and then Australia, all those European countries.
- 34:16Speaker 3: Is just another example of Saas's incredible delusional humility, where again,
- 34:24Speaker 3: you sell more tickets than I do, you.
- 34:26Speaker 8: Should go No, I don't. I genuinely don't sell more
- 34:29Speaker 8: tickets than you. And also, uh, you do, no I don't.
- 34:34Speaker 8: We go to the same venues and we talk about
- 34:37Speaker 8: how we did and you do better. I did Detroit
- 34:39Speaker 8: and I sold like one hundred tickets, sold like seven
- 34:43Speaker 8: hundred at venue.
- 34:45Speaker 3: Yeah exactly, this guy ridiculous. Just the booking.
- 34:48Speaker 8: Anyways, what I was saying, is the as I've heard
- 34:51Speaker 8: from like my agent and stuff that Australia and like
- 34:54Speaker 8: England and all this places. Like even if you don't
- 34:56Speaker 8: sell a lot of tickets, you can sell really well
- 34:58Speaker 8: out there because they're just excited to see America go
- 34:59Speaker 8: to other it's all go together. It's kind of hoping
- 35:02Speaker 8: to make that a solo thing for me. Fine, now
- 35:05Speaker 8: I'm kidding.
- 35:05Speaker 3: I would go. I would go to London with you. Yeah,
- 35:07Speaker 3: that would do one.
- 35:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not missing that trip.
- 35:09Speaker 3: We all go do a.
- 35:11Speaker 8: Theater absolutely big ass arena.
- 35:14Speaker 3: Okay, maybe that's a two two. Yeah, Let's do the
- 35:19Speaker 3: O two in the round.
- 35:21Speaker 1: Let's do the where did Shakespeare Theater?
- 35:24Speaker 3: The Globe, the Globe, Let's do the globe.
- 35:26Speaker 8: We should do the round in the O two and
- 35:28Speaker 8: only sell out like four percent of it, just like
- 35:31Speaker 8: a tiny ass cone to just get the world's biggest
- 35:34Speaker 8: curtain to silo off. Ninety percent in the round and
- 35:39Speaker 8: only like sixty percent of the circle is filled.
- 35:42Speaker 3: One night only, strictly limited.
- 35:45Speaker 1: It's just a single file up to the top.
- 35:47Speaker 3: You lost one hundred and forty thousand dollars performing at
- 35:51Speaker 3: the O two arena.
- 35:52Speaker 9: I'm a theater comic where I'm a fucking stadium comic.
- 35:56Speaker 9: It's only twenty of us film it on really tight shot. Yeah,
- 36:00Speaker 9: make it look full. The crowd shot is just one dude.
- 36:03Speaker 9: Every time yell off into distance, please please be quiet.
- 36:07Speaker 9: Yeah there's an echo. We can hear you back there.
- 36:10Speaker 9: It's like our West Virginia show that we did.
- 36:13Speaker 8: Yeah, we did a show at the Penn Casino and
- 36:16Speaker 8: it was like they said it was a two hundred
- 36:18Speaker 8: person room when they got there.
- 36:20Speaker 3: It was maybe a five thousand. They two hundred chairs,
- 36:25Speaker 3: but they could have fit quite a few more. It
- 36:28Speaker 3: was the biggest room.
- 36:31Speaker 8: And we had we sold seventy tickets and it was
- 36:35Speaker 8: everyone was in the front row was a huge room.
- 36:37Speaker 8: It was like a theater, so everyone's it was just
- 36:39Speaker 8: seventy five people all in one row. And they still
- 36:42Speaker 8: had the projectors on, so like it was like us
- 36:45Speaker 8: being projected. You know, like when you see someone like
- 36:47Speaker 8: they have the two walls with the with the projector showing.
- 36:51Speaker 8: They still had that, but the people were so close
- 36:54Speaker 8: to this stage they couldn't even see the projector. Yeah,
- 36:57Speaker 8: like it was behind them and every time you spoke,
- 37:01Speaker 8: your voice would just smack the back of the wall
- 37:04Speaker 8: and then come.
- 37:07Speaker 3: Speaking of tea pain, did you see that great tweet
- 37:09Speaker 3: he had or great posts he had? He goes, baby girl,
- 37:14Speaker 3: let me talk to a damn.
- 37:17Speaker 8: That's good, that's special. That's something there.
- 37:20Speaker 3: You didn't like it. No, you don't have anything for that.
- 37:25Speaker 3: That sucks.
- 37:28Speaker 8: That's so I was like, was it he just went
- 37:32Speaker 8: with the first thing that he could come up with.
- 37:34Speaker 3: I don't know it made sense to me. Hawk to
- 37:36Speaker 3: a girl? No, the lyric is let me talk to you. Yeah,
- 37:41Speaker 3: but he says it quickly and it sounds sort of
- 37:43Speaker 3: like howkta? And then what did the crowd go nuts? No,
- 37:46Speaker 3: he didn't do it, it was he wrote it. Oh
- 37:50Speaker 3: so someone else wrote it?
- 37:52Speaker 1: Pain's funny?
- 37:54Speaker 3: Respect on Kevin Bonner wrote it.
- 38:00Speaker 8: It. Yeah, it's so funny dude, seeing people will like
- 38:03Speaker 8: go crazy over Antonio Brown's tweets, and it's like, do
- 38:06Speaker 8: you guys actually think that Antonio Brown is sitting on
- 38:09Speaker 8: Twitter all day writing these two?
- 38:11Speaker 1: It's funny because it's probably like a twenty year old
- 38:14Speaker 1: white dude who's like being like crackers a dead.
- 38:16Speaker 8: Yeah, but like people are like like he I guess
- 38:19Speaker 8: like Antonio Brown like defended sketch and they're like, it's
- 38:23Speaker 8: so I saw tweet that. I was like, it's so
- 38:24Speaker 8: crazy that, uh that like Antonio Brown's defending sketch and
- 38:28Speaker 8: then like every other one of his tweets is something
- 38:30Speaker 8: you'd only hear in like a modern warfare two cod
- 38:33Speaker 8: lobby and it's like, dude, he's not writing any of these.
- 38:36Speaker 3: Are you sure absolutely positive? Because why would.
- 38:40Speaker 1: They confirmed it on the account?
- 38:42Speaker 3: Oh?
- 38:42Speaker 1: That is somebody else running it, because like he'll get
- 38:45Speaker 1: into fights with people and he'll be like this all right,
- 38:48Speaker 1: like I have somebody running my account, but I'll fucking whip.
- 38:50Speaker 3: Your ass for real. Yeah. Oh does that mean that
- 38:54Speaker 3: they're good tweets?
- 38:56Speaker 8: No, they're just like incendiary, not good tweets, but they're
- 38:58Speaker 8: they're they're tweets from someone who's clearly online all the time,
- 39:02Speaker 8: and Antonio Brown obviously is not spending his entire day
- 39:05Speaker 8: on Twitter.
- 39:06Speaker 3: I see.
- 39:06Speaker 1: It's like if Tyler O'Day was like an edge lord,
- 39:09Speaker 1: yes exactly, or like Bailey Carlin was like an edge lord.
- 39:12Speaker 3: I I can't believe that Antonio Brown got away with
- 39:17Speaker 3: that moment where he was in that resort pool. Oh yeah,
- 39:20Speaker 3: and just his penis was floating on top of the
- 39:22Speaker 3: water Dubai.
- 39:23Speaker 8: I think it was because his dick was so big
- 39:25Speaker 8: that no one could get mad.
- 39:27Speaker 3: Well that you know, is there a level of brain
- 39:31Speaker 3: damage where we just look the other way for that
- 39:33Speaker 3: type of behavior.
- 39:35Speaker 1: Well, I don't think he's getting opportunities, like.
- 39:39Speaker 3: Uh, there's nothing to take from him, right, Like, I
- 39:42Speaker 3: think he.
- 39:42Speaker 1: Made his football money and now he's just like tweeting
- 39:44Speaker 1: online and like fucking Larsa Pippen or whatever the fuck
- 39:47Speaker 1: he's doing. Like, I don't think that he's like getting
- 39:50Speaker 1: like brand deals with like milk or like fucking Kellogg
- 39:55Speaker 1: or some shit like that.
- 39:56Speaker 3: I think that he just is.
- 39:59Speaker 1: Living on on the edge of a brain damage.
- 40:02Speaker 3: Man.
- 40:02Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought that being in Dubai, that they would
- 40:06Speaker 1: like fucking chop his penis off or some ship like
- 40:08Speaker 1: that for doing that. Yeah, but I guess that they
- 40:10Speaker 1: reward misogyny. But even though they like walk around their
- 40:13Speaker 1: like fountains out there and hold hands with each other,
- 40:17Speaker 1: just dudes holding hands with each other and then like
- 40:19Speaker 1: going home.
- 40:20Speaker 8: And oh yeah, forgot that they all hold hands bros,
- 40:23Speaker 8: just hold hands up.
- 40:24Speaker 3: Yeah, Julio has videos of the Taliban like holding hands,
- 40:28Speaker 3: walking and holding hands. Yeah, I'm like, dude, I would
- 40:31Speaker 3: not have filmed that.
- 40:33Speaker 8: No, that's that that's still insane that well, they don't
- 40:35Speaker 8: know that.
- 40:35Speaker 1: We're like calling them gay for doing that, right, Like
- 40:38Speaker 1: what we love each other, Yeah, we had are brothers. Yeah,
- 40:43Speaker 1: we're brothers who love each other.
- 40:46Speaker 8: It's pretty nuts that Julio just went out and hung
- 40:49Speaker 8: out with the Taliban.
- 40:50Speaker 3: For a week. I know. It was funny when he
- 40:53Speaker 3: was like, I tried to talk him out of it.
- 40:54Speaker 1: Taliban are like solid dudes, and then Chaps and Kate
- 40:57Speaker 1: were like, they're actually not.
- 40:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 41:00Speaker 8: Caused a lot of controversy.
- 41:02Speaker 1: They actually killed a lot of people.
- 41:03Speaker 3: You know. I mean, I don't know that that was
- 41:07Speaker 3: exactly what Julio said in his blog. I can't. I
- 41:14Speaker 3: don't think he was advocating for them.
- 41:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not a dog in the fight, no, I know.
- 41:20Speaker 3: And and then he wrote, I because I feel bad
- 41:23Speaker 3: because I was like the kids, some guy had been
- 41:27Speaker 3: taken captive by the Taliban, or wasn't he just like
- 41:32Speaker 3: posting up with them, like hanging out like he was
- 41:34Speaker 3: holding hands. He was not holding he was being taken
- 41:40Speaker 3: to dinner for a better life with no choice of
- 41:44Speaker 3: saying Noah, and they were like trying to was.
- 41:47Speaker 8: It like no choice of saying no or it was like, guys,
- 41:49Speaker 8: I don't know if I want to eat tonight, Come on, dude.
- 41:52Speaker 3: To come with us.
- 41:53Speaker 1: No, he was eating peda at gunpoint.
- 41:56Speaker 3: Yeah. They he was scared. Yeah, and he he was
- 42:00Speaker 3: not trying to solicit interactions with the Taliban. He knew
- 42:05Speaker 3: to keep his distance. But they're everywhere, so.
- 42:07Speaker 1: Yeah, and when you're traveling around there, it's just like
- 42:08Speaker 1: you just don't We probably just try to have the
- 42:11Speaker 1: conversations and they're probably radical, and you probably just don't
- 42:14Speaker 1: try to say that much as they're being radical.
- 42:16Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, they were also just kind of a shocked
- 42:21Speaker 3: and curious that a white American would be in their country.
- 42:25Speaker 1: I'm following a dude who is on Instagram who's going
- 42:28Speaker 1: from Egypt to Japan without taking any planes or whatever,
- 42:33Speaker 1: and he's like one hundred and fifty days into the journey.
- 42:35Speaker 1: It's a very interesting account to follow. But he's been
- 42:37Speaker 1: in similar situations where he just like he'll wind up
- 42:40Speaker 1: at dinner somewhere and they're fucking sitting cross legged, like
- 42:44Speaker 1: drinking pepsi out of a wineglass and just eating with
- 42:47Speaker 1: their hands, eating rice with their hands. And he'll have
- 42:49Speaker 1: these conversations and he'll be like, yeah, just try to
- 42:52Speaker 1: shut the fuck up while they're saying crazy stuff. Yeah,
- 42:56Speaker 1: you just wind up in wild situations if you're in
- 42:59Speaker 1: someone else's country. You can't be like actually, like it's
- 43:03Speaker 1: a women's right to choose.
- 43:04Speaker 3: Like trying to have the Johnny Apple seed of progress
- 43:11Speaker 3: in fucking Afghanistan.
- 43:14Speaker 1: Actually there's fucking fifty three genders. Yeah, you guys don't
- 43:21Speaker 1: fucking know.
- 43:22Speaker 3: Okay, we gotta have.
- 43:25Speaker 8: Julia on the podcast. Yeah, we talked about it a
- 43:28Speaker 8: couple of weeks ago.
- 43:29Speaker 3: That'd be fun. I saw him at Hannah's party. Yeah, definitely,
- 43:33Speaker 3: that would be great.
- 43:34Speaker 1: Also, just cause I need to get this out of
- 43:36Speaker 1: my brain. When we were talking about Timon and Pumba,
- 43:39Speaker 1: can I circle back to that for one second.
- 43:41Speaker 3: Course, don't look at me, look at Sas. He's the
- 43:43Speaker 3: one that doesn't like us to trot over ground.
- 43:46Speaker 1: I know he likes a linear path through here, but
- 43:48Speaker 1: I just want to take one loot that he loop back.
- 43:51Speaker 1: I just can't get it out of my head that
- 43:52Speaker 1: when uh, when in that song where Pumba was like
- 43:57Speaker 1: when I was a young war dog, when I was
- 44:01Speaker 1: a young I needed someone to do that, just to
- 44:04Speaker 1: kind of finish it out.
- 44:06Speaker 3: He found his aroma like a Souotain appeal the savannah
- 44:10Speaker 3: after everything.
- 44:11Speaker 1: I'm talking about. He could clear the savannah after every meal.
- 44:14Speaker 1: And I got down hearted.
- 44:16Speaker 3: I was I'm a sensitive soul, and.
- 44:20Speaker 1: I got downhearted every time that I Puma, not in
- 44:23Speaker 1: front of the kids. And it took me maybe a
- 44:26Speaker 1: decade of my life to realize that they were rhyming downhearted.
- 44:29Speaker 3: With farted with farted.
- 44:32Speaker 1: This whole song is about how fucking Pumba is sensitive
- 44:36Speaker 1: that he farts on the savannah.
- 44:38Speaker 3: Interesting, and here's why I'm surprised it took you that long.
- 44:42Speaker 3: They accent that moment with a low note from what
- 44:48Speaker 3: I think is a French horn or tuba, yeah, big tuba,
- 44:54Speaker 3: and it is so close and musically to the sound
- 44:57Speaker 3: of a fart, and they're all pretty on the nose
- 45:00Speaker 3: with it.
- 45:00Speaker 10: My friend's never stood down with yeah, he's literally it's
- 45:04Speaker 10: a whole song about in a fucking Disney movie about
- 45:08Speaker 10: how this wartthog farts and he feels bad about it. Yeah,
- 45:12Speaker 10: Like it's the most out of place song that's ever
- 45:15Speaker 10: existed in a Disney movie. Why why, when has there
- 45:19Speaker 10: ever been a song about anything close to fart shame?
- 45:23Speaker 3: Yah in a Disney it's supposed to be funny.
- 45:26Speaker 1: Yeah, but even funny songs in other movies are not
- 45:30Speaker 1: about fart shame.
- 45:31Speaker 3: No, I'm with you on this one, Ronan not with sass.
- 45:33Speaker 3: I think it is weird and inappropriate and not funny.
- 45:40Speaker 3: I think it's funny and appropriate.
- 45:42Speaker 1: It's like, I guess child childishly funny.
- 45:44Speaker 3: Yeah, well it's a kid's movie.
- 45:46Speaker 1: But it's like there's nothing else in the movie that's
- 45:49Speaker 1: like in that vein, it just like jumps to a
- 45:52Speaker 1: fart joke, and there's no other Disney movie that does
- 45:55Speaker 1: anything similar. There's no like piss pants jokes or fucking queef.
- 46:00Speaker 8: I'm sure there is. Well, I'm sure there's no Cleef tunes,
- 46:04Speaker 8: but I'm sure. But I'm sure there's definitely other songs
- 46:08Speaker 8: in Disney or jokes about farting and pissing.
- 46:11Speaker 1: But think of one.
- 46:12Speaker 8: Go through every dude, there's like a million Disney movies.
- 46:15Speaker 8: I know you don't think one of them has You
- 46:17Speaker 8: think Lion King is the only one with a fart joke.
- 46:20Speaker 3: That's crazy.
- 46:20Speaker 1: Bring me to another one, a toy story. Maybe what's
- 46:23Speaker 1: toy story? Toy story has a bunch of children, toys everything.
- 46:27Speaker 1: Where's the fart joke?
- 46:28Speaker 3: And toy story?
- 46:29Speaker 1: Where's the p joke? Where's the general joke?
- 46:30Speaker 8: There's definitely jokes where like someone farts and then someone
- 46:33Speaker 8: like rolls their eyes and passes out.
- 46:36Speaker 3: In Disney movies, Oh yeah, I don't know. I don't
- 46:39Speaker 3: think you're right about that. I think you're thinking of
- 46:40Speaker 3: maybe Looney Tunes or something like.
- 46:44Speaker 1: Like there's like sure, the dudes who made Disney movies
- 46:48Speaker 1: were horny as hell. They're putting penises in the clouds
- 46:52Speaker 1: or whatever they were doing over at the Disney studios.
- 46:54Speaker 1: But that's a different They were trying to like sneakily
- 46:58Speaker 1: indoctrinate kids into sexualization in a very Hollywood manner. They
- 47:03Speaker 1: weren't making overt but like subtle fart jokes.
- 47:09Speaker 3: Wait, okay, there, yeah, you know what I mean? Like, yeah,
- 47:12Speaker 3: that's that. I had to parse that out a little.
- 47:17Speaker 3: I had to get what you were saying. Yeah, they
- 47:19Speaker 3: were doing it was.
- 47:20Speaker 8: The first fart ever heard in a Disney film.
- 47:24Speaker 3: First, and that's gotta be the french horn.
- 47:26Speaker 1: Second.
- 47:27Speaker 3: Second, fire a second, that's gotta be the tuba french
- 47:30Speaker 3: horn I was talking about. Is this sound?
- 47:32Speaker 1: So give me my credits?
- 47:33Speaker 3: Ask you want to hear it? Yeah? Pull it up?

- 49:13Speaker 1: Poomba was a farter timon. We might have talked about
- 49:17Speaker 1: this before.
- 49:18Speaker 3: Jewish. Really, this dude's voice is played by Nathan Lane. Right,
- 49:25Speaker 3: that's not a jew Billy Crystal, that's Nathan Lane.
- 49:33Speaker 1: There. It was.
- 49:34Speaker 3: Yeah, that was funny. No no, no, no, no, no,
- 49:38Speaker 3: keep going. That was all it was.
- 49:40Speaker 8: Again, go to the party, get copyrighted. That was thirteen seconds.
- 49:43Speaker 8: We went three seconds over.
- 49:44Speaker 3: Honestly, we wanted to hear the part where he since
- 49:47Speaker 3: the whole point of this conversation. Well, you didn't hear
- 49:50Speaker 3: the fart. That wasn't it though, that part where they
- 49:53Speaker 3: go and it got down herded every time that I farted. Oh,
- 49:57Speaker 3: I thought we just wanted to hear the fart.
- 49:58Speaker 1: Well, there was a far there. There was some kind
- 50:01Speaker 1: of horn sound.
- 50:02Speaker 3: There was a far. You're not talking about yet.
- 50:08Speaker 1: Again, Play it again. We're not gonna get in trouble.
- 50:10Speaker 1: We're commenting on it, we're talking over it. We're not
- 50:12Speaker 1: just playing it to fucking bop out like it's just
- 50:14Speaker 1: a Brina carpe you.
- 50:15Speaker 3: If you think for one second that.
- 50:19Speaker 1: We need to talk over it, here we go. That's
- 50:29Speaker 1: all you have.
- 50:30Speaker 3: Yes, that's where the video ends. Okay, fine, touche. I
- 50:38Speaker 3: can live with that. I can live with that. So
- 50:41Speaker 3: there is a fart, true.
- 50:45Speaker 1: I think that it's important to realize that that's just
- 50:48Speaker 1: how weird that song is.
- 50:49Speaker 8: I don't think it's weird at all. You know, what
- 50:51Speaker 8: I thought was a roundbreaking. That's like the George Carlin
- 50:54Speaker 8: like ship piss joke. Then say they just broke this
- 50:59Speaker 8: fucking industry standards.
- 51:01Speaker 3: You know, you got arrested. For performing that bit. Yeah,
- 51:05Speaker 3: a right, performing fuck the police, the police or.
- 51:13Speaker 1: Two Live crew being like, hey, we want some book.
- 51:18Speaker 1: Didn't they perform that at like an old person's like
- 51:21Speaker 1: at a theater full of like old people in Miami
- 51:24Speaker 1: or something like that, and they were like shaking ass
- 51:27Speaker 1: and like nineteen ninety two in front of like old
- 51:30Speaker 1: ladies and wigs with blue hair.
- 51:32Speaker 3: It's kind of cool.
- 51:33Speaker 8: I wish that was still a thing, Like, I wish
- 51:34Speaker 8: I had jokes that I could get arrested for saying.
- 51:38Speaker 3: A single. Why would you want that?
- 51:39Speaker 8: Because it's probably pretty bad ass. Like George Carlin, like
- 51:42Speaker 8: you knew that was gonna be good for his career
- 51:44Speaker 8: getting arrested.
- 51:46Speaker 1: Yeah, he was the original one to get canceled.
- 51:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I think that at any moment though, in those times,
- 51:51Speaker 3: you don't know that the outcome will be good necessarily. Yeah,
- 51:57Speaker 3: I guess if it's that big of a deal too,
- 51:58Speaker 3: they're probably not be Being arrested is scary and you're
- 52:02Speaker 3: taking a gamble.
- 52:03Speaker 8: Yeah, someone had to protect the arts scary.
- 52:10Speaker 1: Yeah, just getting arrested for storm chasers were scary a
- 52:13Speaker 1: little bit.
- 52:13Speaker 3: Exactly we are you have yours?
- 52:17Speaker 1: Isn't getting arrested for ship bro, you are not gonna
- 52:19Speaker 1: see the video.
- 52:21Speaker 8: Any time that you're getting arrested, roan or about to
- 52:23Speaker 8: get arrested, it's usually you instigating the entire thing.
- 52:26Speaker 1: Scary.
- 52:27Speaker 3: I saw the video of you guys.
- 52:28Speaker 8: Getting kicked out of the fucking wherever it was the
- 52:31Speaker 8: last time you did Storm Chasers, and it's literally you
- 52:34Speaker 8: like with your phone, like in the CoP's face, being like,
- 52:37Speaker 8: this guy's just trying to arrest us. He's gonna he's
- 52:39Speaker 8: gonna try and bring us to jail, all because we
- 52:42Speaker 8: just want to have fun.
- 52:43Speaker 1: It's because I'm a sovereign citizen, dude, you have to
- 52:46Speaker 1: have a reasonable articulable suspicion that I'm breaking along and
- 52:50Speaker 1: you were just because they're being just because they're suspicious
- 52:53Speaker 1: or just because they feel uncomfortable. I'm not responsible for
- 52:56Speaker 1: their feelings.
- 52:57Speaker 3: Yeah, and they're not responsible for letting you guys storm
- 52:59Speaker 3: the court, so they made you leave.
- 53:01Speaker 1: You're on the fucking cop side. You would have been
- 53:04Speaker 1: in fucking with that little mustache. You would have been
- 53:06Speaker 1: the dude with George Carlin's hands behind his back and like, uh,
- 53:10Speaker 1: you're the Record Island. Anything you say canon will be
- 53:12Speaker 1: used against you in a court of law. If you
- 53:14Speaker 1: don't have you're the right an attorney. If you don't
- 53:16Speaker 1: have an attorney, one will be appointed to you.
- 53:18Speaker 3: Do you have any jokes, they'll get you arrested. No?
- 53:21Speaker 1: No, uh, just what was just outlawed in or some
- 53:28Speaker 1: ship just happened in Russia? Did they outlaw they being
- 53:31Speaker 1: gay or the gay party.
- 53:32Speaker 3: Or something that's been they've been that something.
- 53:35Speaker 1: New happened with it though that I'm trying to scratch pussy, right,
- 53:39Speaker 1: They definitely got pussy, but that was like fucking ten
- 53:41Speaker 1: years ago.
- 53:42Speaker 3: Alexei Navalni was killed.
- 53:46Speaker 1: Any progosion.
- 53:49Speaker 3: That books could say from Russia with blood, I've read
- 53:52Speaker 3: it or sorry, I've recommended it before. Uh, it's the
- 53:56Speaker 3: sort of backstory but behind Putin's assassination of the oligarchs
- 54:01Speaker 3: that took their money and tried to run.
- 54:03Speaker 1: They need to update that book. I know he can't
- 54:07Speaker 1: stop killing people, I know.
- 54:09Speaker 3: And what's crazy is what's crazy is that he would
- 54:13Speaker 3: do it with really recklessly.
- 54:17Speaker 1: I mean, helicopter crashes are reckless.
- 54:19Speaker 3: That's a crazy But he also spread like radioactive poison
- 54:28Speaker 3: on a handrail or a park bench in England. Really
- 54:32Speaker 3: that was meant to kill someone who had defected or
- 54:34Speaker 3: was a spy or something like that, and it it
- 54:38Speaker 3: hurts someone else, it hurt a citizen.
- 54:40Speaker 1: Really. Yeah, it must be a little bit exciting to
- 54:43Speaker 1: be an assassin.
- 54:44Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I'm sure. Yeah, sure, it's a great job.
- 54:47Speaker 1: It's probably dangerous, probably being a storm chaser.
- 54:49Speaker 3: Honestly, you barely work. You probably have great hours.
- 54:54Speaker 1: You just get like a locker with like ten thousand
- 54:56Speaker 1: dollars and eighteen different currencies and five passports working nights.
- 55:03Speaker 3: I gotta think the gear would be one of the
- 55:05Speaker 3: coolest perks for that job. Oh yeah, because my whole life,
- 55:09Speaker 3: everything that I've I measure everything in the gear. You
- 55:12Speaker 3: want gear.
- 55:12Speaker 8: I'm a gear guy, gearhound. I'm a big gear guy.
- 55:16Speaker 3: No, but i am.
- 55:18Speaker 8: I'm a huge gear guy. I'm constantly thinking gear.
- 55:23Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 55:23Speaker 1: Imagine like if you were assassin, the fly fishing stuff
- 55:27Speaker 1: that you buy, like the Oorvist store for assassins.
- 55:31Speaker 8: It's like, yeah, there was like a spy store right
- 55:34Speaker 8: near here. A couple of years ago.
- 55:35Speaker 3: One of the coolest days in my life was February first,
- 55:40Speaker 3: my freshman year of college. So it was technically the
- 55:42Speaker 3: day that our season started and we came into the
- 55:47Speaker 3: locker room and everyone's lockers had filled with gear. Fucking
- 55:53Speaker 3: Christmas array, like three boxes of Nike shoes, like two
- 55:59Speaker 3: pair of cleats, and like some runners and then you know,
- 56:03Speaker 3: to dry fit Harvard Lacross shirts, two pairs of shorts,
- 56:07Speaker 3: like a fucking laundry ring. They would do all our
- 56:10Speaker 3: laundry for us. New helmets, damn new jerseys, socks, lots
- 56:15Speaker 3: of socks. Yeah, we had plenty of spoons.
- 56:18Speaker 8: That's why I like hockey, because hockey you had so
- 56:20Speaker 8: much gear. I could never do soccer. Not enough gear.
- 56:23Speaker 3: No, you're not wrong.
- 56:25Speaker 8: Soccer's only cleats and chin pads.
- 56:26Speaker 3: That's a fair point. Yeah, basketball is not a ton
- 56:29Speaker 3: of gear, but it's it's nice gear though. It's like, yeah, I.
- 56:36Speaker 8: Would go full sleeves. I go to shooting sleeves and
- 56:39Speaker 8: then and then spandex pants.
- 56:40Speaker 3: I think that's fair. In fact, I would probably get
- 56:43Speaker 3: offensive tattoos, yeah, just to cover them and also have
- 56:48Speaker 3: for sun protection from those bright lights. I've started in golf,
- 56:52Speaker 3: I've started wearing uh sleeves. Oh for the sun protection,
- 56:57Speaker 3: because it keeps you cooler than wearing a long sleeve shirt. Yeah,
- 57:00Speaker 3: m hm, o my shirt.
- 57:03Speaker 8: It's also what commented and said that because I was
- 57:05Speaker 8: wearing a button down fishing and someone said that like
- 57:08Speaker 8: I wore my I wore like my best, like my
- 57:11Speaker 8: best clothes to go fishing. And I was like, no,
- 57:13Speaker 8: it's the shirt for fishing. It's literally an it was
- 57:16Speaker 8: an ll being button down.
- 57:19Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, I didn't just go to like Macy's and
- 57:22Speaker 3: pick up a button down it pictured Yeah.
- 57:26Speaker 1: Yeah, well, these fish are going to love what they see.
- 57:30Speaker 3: I'm just sad you didn't catch Kobea on the fly
- 57:33Speaker 3: line because you're so close. Yeah. I was close. I
- 57:36Speaker 3: couldn't set the line. Now they fish wouldn't take them. No,
- 57:39Speaker 3: you were jerking too hard when they would get close.
- 57:42Speaker 3: Now you got excited and you pulled it. And they said, oh,
- 57:44Speaker 3: that's not what I thought it was.
- 57:45Speaker 8: You know, they were getting too close to the boat
- 57:47Speaker 8: and then they would see the boat.
- 57:48Speaker 3: And that's not what That's not what I was talking
- 57:50Speaker 3: to our guy about. After our guy you don't know
- 57:53Speaker 3: his name, Drake, bros. That's he's Drake to you. That's embarrassing.
- 58:01Speaker 1: You are, poet.
- 58:04Speaker 3: I was talking. I was talking to MJ. You were
- 58:07Speaker 3: never talking to MJ. I was as I talked to MJ,
- 58:10Speaker 3: and he was like, Francis is a MJ. And Drake bro.
- 58:13Speaker 1: You guys are having some goat talks.
- 58:14Speaker 8: I know, seriously, did you guys see.
- 58:17Speaker 1: The I don't know if there's a picture of video
- 58:18Speaker 1: of a dude just like caught a fish and was
- 58:20Speaker 1: pouring barbecue sau.
- 58:22Speaker 3: Yeah, I did see that. That was pretty crazy.
- 58:28Speaker 1: A bear is gonna catch this spend the rest of
- 58:31Speaker 1: their lives chasing that. That's so fucking I mean, I guess,
- 58:36Speaker 1: I guess fucked up. I'm sure.
- 58:38Speaker 8: I'm sure he killed the fish. Why because you can't
- 58:42Speaker 8: just pour a whole entire bottle of sweet Baby Rays
- 58:45Speaker 8: in a fish and have no health for all them.
- 58:48Speaker 8: That would suck up a human. If someone took you
- 58:51Speaker 8: and put a full bottle of sweet Baby Rays in
- 58:53Speaker 8: your stomach, you'd have like a baby for like a
- 58:57Speaker 8: month straight, like a baby you're supposed to have.
- 58:59Speaker 3: Like that much of that.
- 59:00Speaker 1: I would be suckling at the teeth of the sweet
- 59:02Speaker 1: baby ray.
- 59:03Speaker 3: And do they just put it in its entire body?
- 59:08Speaker 1: It is crazy how a fish is just empty cavity.
- 59:11Speaker 3: Well, largemouth bass are Yeah, they're just a cavern.
- 59:14Speaker 1: So then how could it affect that people.
- 59:16Speaker 8: Take People will catch largemouth bass and just put another
- 59:18Speaker 8: fish inside of them and throw them back.
- 59:21Speaker 3: What would that do?
- 59:23Speaker 8: I think that's fine? Yeah, what, I think that's fine.
- 59:29Speaker 8: They've fed at the fish.
- 59:31Speaker 1: Yeah, do they digest it like a largemouth bass? Probably
- 59:35Speaker 1: just after you throw it in with the sweet baby
- 59:37Speaker 1: rays inside of it. It's probably just swimming through with
- 59:39Speaker 1: his mouth open. The sweet baby rays gets diluted inside
- 59:42Speaker 1: of it.
- 59:42Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 59:43Speaker 1: Probably it just suckles at the sweet baby rays for
- 59:45Speaker 1: the rest of the fish.
- 59:46Speaker 3: Sure, kind of weird.
- 59:46Speaker 8: They it might have been able to digest the sweet
- 59:48Speaker 8: baby rays. Fine, I doubt it, but it could have.
- 59:51Speaker 3: It could have. I I have kind of kicked hunger. Oh,
- 59:57Speaker 3: I don't know what. Something about the heat. When I'm hungry,
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: I'm able to say I don't need much food really,
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: And I have really lowered my caloric intake. I need
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: to do that over the last couple of weeks. And
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: I feel incredibly lean. You look lean. I am lean.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: You both look lean, honestly.
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: Lean boys.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: Uh yeah, I need to fucking I need to get
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: into the nice caloric deficit.
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: It's nice to be lean in the summer. I'm in
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: a deficit. But it's I get I don't. I can't
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: do that.
- 1:00:28Speaker 8: I can't control my hunger, Like I'll not I'll eat
- 1:00:32Speaker 8: once and then I won't have to eat again for
- 1:00:34Speaker 8: like the rest of the day, and then randomly at
- 1:00:36Speaker 8: night all get like unbearably hungry. But it's like not
- 1:00:40Speaker 8: even like hunger, it's like nausea, and.
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: Yeah, that's not fun.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: What about just drowning yourself in water or sweet baby rays?
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: Sweet heavy rays could do it if I diluted it
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: a little bit. But water doesn't really do that for me.
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: I know.
- 1:00:54Speaker 8: People say that like they're like, oh, I drink a
- 1:00:56Speaker 8: gallon of water a day and it suppresses my hunger.
- 1:00:58Speaker 8: And it's like, well that sounds awful. Yeah, it sounds miserable.
- 1:01:03Speaker 8: What do you What are you boozing on in the
- 1:01:04Speaker 8: summer months.
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: I've switched to drinking just tequila on the rocks. That's
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: all I drink.
- 1:01:09Speaker 8: Very gay really, yeah, extremely tequila is a gay man's drink,
- 1:01:14Speaker 8: is it?
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: Yeah? Oh, big time. That's fine.
- 1:01:19Speaker 8: That's probably why that gay dude came up to you
- 1:01:21Speaker 8: at that party and was like, Wow, you look fucking hot.
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: No, I saw you drink.
- 1:01:26Speaker 8: That's like the pineapple outside of the swinger's house. The
- 1:01:29Speaker 8: tequila is like the Batman signal for gay dudes, is
- 1:01:33Speaker 8: it now? Yeah, so let's switch to something a little darker,
- 1:01:36Speaker 8: a bourbon.
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: I don't want to drink bourbon in the summer. I
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: like drinking whiskey in the winter and the fall. Yeah,
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: I get that. I drink. I drink Manhattans for like
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: eight months this week.
- 1:01:46Speaker 8: Surprised You're not just drinking vodka on the rocks.
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: That's that's alcohol. It's queer eye. That's weird. That's weird.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: I think that uh, mes cow on the rocks.
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: Oh amazing, really good mescal. I mean I haven't cracked
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: your lovely house gift that you got for me. Oh
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: you have.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: I mean that's after dinner drink.
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: I'm I'm excited to try it, dude.
- 1:02:14Speaker 8: I got I remember going to we were in Minneapolis
- 1:02:17Speaker 8: and I was I was a big Moscow mule guy,
- 1:02:21Speaker 8: and we went to some bar at the we went
- 1:02:23Speaker 8: to the bar at the hotel. We were filming neighborhood
- 1:02:25Speaker 8: eats or something, and uh and I was like, you
- 1:02:29Speaker 8: just have any Moscow mules and they're like, no, we
- 1:02:31Speaker 8: have a mescal mule.
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: That's nice.
- 1:02:33Speaker 8: It was the worst thing I've ever had. I took
- 1:02:35Speaker 8: maybe a quarter of a zip of it. I couldn't
- 1:02:37Speaker 8: drink anymore.
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: I'm sorry to hear.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: Some people just don't like mescal.
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: I'm not a mescal guy. I don't like subbing mescal
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: into cocktails that I'm accustomed to, which has become a Yeah,
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: I can't drink a mezcal and DGRONI who people like them?
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: I don't like them. I want my gin nigroney. I
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: want my gin in my negronie. I never liked Neigroni's either,
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: that's an acquired taste. Yeah. I was never a hard
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: I was never a hard alcohol person. I remember we
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: went playing pool and you just didn't want nonels.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: When we were in Minnesota. Do you remember what fish
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: that they were serving at that lodge like restaurant their
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: fish special? As a fisherman, coud no mass, no trout, Nope, Walleye, Walleye, Walleye.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: It was nice to ask some Walleye and gilly bread
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: and Walleye. It was has a nice crust to it.
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: I don't remember much from that trip. I remember the
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: day that we got in.
- 1:03:38Speaker 8: I was still taking Adavan to fly, and I remember
- 1:03:41Speaker 8: I took an Adavan and then the flight was like
- 1:03:44Speaker 8: thirty minutes to Minneapolis, and then we went straight to
- 1:03:47Speaker 8: a bar because like Rob was already there, and we
- 1:03:50Speaker 8: got beers at the bar and I had like half
- 1:03:52Speaker 8: a beer and I was like wasted out of my
- 1:03:55Speaker 8: mind and I'd just go up and go to bed.
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: Yeah, And it wasn't like fun wasted. It was like
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: that hm hmm. It was like it was like uncomfortable
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: bug swallowed. I am getting sick, but are you really? Yeah?
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: But I got dude, there's been a nasty sickness going
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: around cod COVID, but I wasn't cod mine. Mine wasn't COVID.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: I tested for COVID when I was. But I was like,
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: as sick as I've ever been.
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: I'll be fine. I'm a warrior.
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: Damn he think that I am.
- 1:04:27Speaker 8: I don't take sick days unless I'm really sick. Yeah,
- 1:04:31Speaker 8: puking or bleeding.
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: Same. I don't believe you that's true.
- 1:04:35Speaker 8: I literally I might have missed one day of school
- 1:04:38Speaker 8: my entire life.
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: You drop spots because you're not feeling that well, are
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: you all the time? Is that not what you're talking about? Please? Wow,
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: that's diarrhea.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: He just pierced your argument.
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: Diarrhea, I guess is also a big one for me,
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: and that's also a sickness. Yeah, but it's not really
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: the reason that can you tell them you're like them
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: all the time? All the time?
- 1:05:04Speaker 8: I text Joe because Joe also has diarrhea, and I go,
- 1:05:07Speaker 8: I got bad diarrhea, and he goes, understood, Yeah.
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: And it's not all I haven't dropped a spot in
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: like three months. Okay, you need a Diarrhe just saying,
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: just saying, yeah, well, because the diarrhea.
- 1:05:20Speaker 8: It's because you go to the club and then you
- 1:05:21Speaker 8: got to take a ship in that single bathroom and
- 1:05:24Speaker 8: then by the time that your pants are down, there's
- 1:05:26Speaker 8: already two people in line.
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: That's banging on the door.
- 1:05:30Speaker 8: So is someone in there? It's like, well, it's a
- 1:05:32Speaker 8: one person bathroom and it's locked, so probably it's always
- 1:05:37Speaker 8: it's always a group of it's always a group of
- 1:05:39Speaker 8: thirty girls, and there is I can't tell if anyone's
- 1:05:43Speaker 8: in there, just banging on the door.
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: I didn't tell you, Yeah, I didn't tell you guys this,
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: but we I was on a flight. Uh, it must
- 1:05:50Speaker 3: have been when we were coming back from where was
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: I recently? Oh, when I was coming back from Wisconsin
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: and landed, we got diverted to JFK. We were supposed
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: to go to LaGuardia, but the flight was super delayed,
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: so they put us on a flight to JFK instead.
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: So immediately sucks and we landed JFK, and uh, we're
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: sitting on the tarmac and they tell us that the
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: gate is occupied, so we have to sit for twenty minutes.
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: So we're sitting there.
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: Still don't understand how that ever happens.
- 1:06:22Speaker 8: I know, I think it's because it's not enough employees.
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: It's just like the lays pile up and then the
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: thing needs to deeplane. Anyway, we're sitting on the tarmac
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: and a guy we're sitting there, and a guy gets
- 1:06:37Speaker 3: up and goes to the bathroom. And he's in the bathroom,
- 1:06:41Speaker 3: and then the captain comes on the intercom and says, Okay,
- 1:06:44Speaker 3: we're ready to go, but we cannot start moving again
- 1:06:49Speaker 3: until everyone has taken their seat. Please return to your seat. Nothing.
- 1:06:56Speaker 3: Guy stays in the bathroom. He's been in the bathroom
- 1:06:58Speaker 3: for seven minutes and the whole plane knows that we
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: are not moving because one guy got up and went
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: in my birst nightmare, And so we sit for whatever
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: another two minutes. People are starting getting antsy because we're
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: within sight of the fucking gate and we're landed and
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: we've been on the plane. There've been delayed. So one
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: of the flight attendants, then the pilot comes on again
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: or the actually now it's one of the flight attendants,
- 1:07:26Speaker 3: a guy, and he's like, uh, you know again, we
- 1:07:30Speaker 3: can't start moving till everyone takes their seat. Nothing. Two
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: more minutes go by, because you can't just be like hey,
- 1:07:37Speaker 3: guy in the bathroom, finish or shit, hey you kind
- 1:07:40Speaker 3: of can well. Then the finally the flight attendant, the
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: guy gets up and he goes to the bathroom. He
- 1:07:48Speaker 3: knocks on the door, no response. I'm sitting in like
- 1:07:50Speaker 3: the second row, so I'm close. And he goes and
- 1:07:53Speaker 3: the guy he knows his name, and he goes Thatcher,
- 1:08:00Speaker 3: are you okay in there? O, my god, Thatcher. I
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: feel so bad for this dude. He goes Thatcher, are
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: you okay in there? Gentle knock harder knock and then finally, now,
- 1:08:12Speaker 3: now I'm like, is that dude dead because and they
- 1:08:17Speaker 3: use the thing. They used the thing to open it
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: from that way, and it goes, I'm coming in, Thatcher,
- 1:08:23Speaker 3: and he opens the door, and I could immediately see
- 1:08:26Speaker 3: Thatcher was just standing looking at himself in the mirror,
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: and he had his ear AirPods in, so he I
- 1:08:33Speaker 3: guess he couldn't hear any of these announcements. Maybe he
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: was listening to music, but he was like grooming himself.
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: Oh no, he'd been done going to the bathroom for
- 1:08:41Speaker 3: a long time. And he sees him come in and
- 1:08:43Speaker 3: then Thatcher's like oh, and immediately goes and sits in
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: his seat, and what I It was clear that Thatcher
- 1:08:54Speaker 3: didn't know how long we had waited for him, because
- 1:08:58Speaker 3: he didn't hear the first or the second or the third.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: But the fact that the bathroom has to be like
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: a fucking he.
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: For all he knew, that was like the first time
- 1:09:09Speaker 3: that he had been asked to sit down. And so
- 1:09:12Speaker 3: when he sat down, and by the way, he was
- 1:09:13Speaker 3: in first class, so he was like, right across the alphabe.
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: Looked like a Thatcher.
- 1:09:17Speaker 3: He looked like a fucking cunt.
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: So he looked like a thatcher.
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: Yeah, just a dick, and I didn't like him. And
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: I'm sitting by the way, the guy sitting next to me,
- 1:09:30Speaker 3: he and I are starting to be like this fucking guy. Yeah,
- 1:09:33Speaker 3: who the fuck is this guy? And we're all like
- 1:09:38Speaker 3: shifting around, like looking, And I said to the guy
- 1:09:42Speaker 3: in my left I go, I'm gonna I'm gonna tell him.
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: I'm gonna tell thatcher what he did is insane. I
- 1:09:50Speaker 3: think he needs to know.
- 1:09:52Speaker 8: No, I don't think he does. Why not because you're
- 1:09:55Speaker 8: gonna get off the plane. You're never gonna see Thatcher again.
- 1:09:57Speaker 3: But he should know why, so that he won't do
- 1:10:01Speaker 3: it to the next plane. But he didn't know it.
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: It's not even that's like the noble way to think
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: of it. That is, Oh, I don't want it to
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: happen to the next group of people. It's more you
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: want him to feel bad. I did, because he fucking
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: he made you feel bad.
- 1:10:15Speaker 3: I did want to. I did want him to feel bad.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: I totally get that.
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: And want to know why this is so much worse
- 1:10:21Speaker 3: even because then once Thatcher sat down, we started moving again,
- 1:10:25Speaker 3: and then we stopped again, and something else delayed us.
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: Someone else probably took your gate.
- 1:10:30Speaker 3: I can't say that. That wouldn't even make sense to me,
- 1:10:33Speaker 3: but it felt that way. It felt like we had
- 1:10:36Speaker 3: now missed our window because of Thatcher.
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: Definitely.
- 1:10:40Speaker 3: And that is when I said, I have to tell him.
- 1:10:43Speaker 3: I have to tell him. I have to scold him
- 1:10:46Speaker 3: for the error of his ways.
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: Yea.
- 1:10:48Speaker 3: And I thought, I'm gonna wait till we get off
- 1:10:49Speaker 3: the plane. I'm gonna wait till we're walking up the
- 1:10:51Speaker 3: gang plank or the fucking whatever, the skyway. It's the
- 1:10:54Speaker 3: worst place to do it. I would do it while
- 1:10:55Speaker 3: you're on the plane. And then what he call, if
- 1:10:57Speaker 3: he what's he gonna do?
- 1:10:59Speaker 8: I don't know you're telling him that, And then you
- 1:11:01Speaker 8: have like a forty five minute walk to baggage claim
- 1:11:03Speaker 8: at JFK.
- 1:11:04Speaker 3: I can I can walk quickly. You've seen me walking
- 1:11:06Speaker 3: in an airport. I'll take the stairs on the escalator
- 1:11:09Speaker 3: and we're never I mean, judging by thatcher, I'm assume
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: he's pretty in shape. He was pudgy, pudgy and large, yeah, yeah, large,
- 1:11:16Speaker 3: pudgy and uh. I was rehearsing what I was gonna
- 1:11:21Speaker 3: say to him, and I wanted to say, hey, just
- 1:11:24Speaker 3: so you know, you were summoned to seat sit down
- 1:11:28Speaker 3: four times by the captain and we all had to
- 1:11:31Speaker 3: wait because of you. What would he have said. I
- 1:11:35Speaker 3: think you would have said sorry, no, and I think
- 1:11:38Speaker 3: it would have been like, oh that sucks really Yeah,
- 1:11:42Speaker 3: then that makes me even more angry. What did he say?
- 1:11:45Speaker 3: I didn't say anything to me.
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: He would have been like wait, Francis, yeah, and then.
- 1:11:51Speaker 3: I would have felt really bad. But I didn't say anything.
- 1:11:54Speaker 3: I saw him walking up, and then I had the
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: immediate thought that you did, which is I'm never gonna
- 1:11:57Speaker 3: see this person again. I'm gonna let it go.
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: Once you get off the plane. Once you're on the plane,
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: you are in an incubator, just simmering, like a gumbo
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: of fucking furiousness.
- 1:12:07Speaker 3: It's like being in traffic.
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: Yeah, just like going to fucking kill this person.
- 1:12:11Speaker 3: You feel everything so much more.
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: And then you start moving a little bit and you're like, oh, guardin.
- 1:12:17Speaker 8: He told me the story where he was, Yeah, where
- 1:12:20Speaker 8: he was shitting, he had to take he had diarrhea
- 1:12:22Speaker 8: on the plane and he was sitting I think he
- 1:12:24Speaker 8: was in first class.
- 1:12:27Speaker 3: And he was in there for like thirty minutes and
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: they were banging on the door in the bathroom.
- 1:12:30Speaker 8: Yeah, and he said that he got off and he
- 1:12:32Speaker 8: sat down in his seat, and the flat attendant was
- 1:12:34Speaker 8: like this, like sassy black lady, ah, and she made
- 1:12:38Speaker 8: direct eye contact with him, pulled out perfume from her
- 1:12:41Speaker 8: thing and sprayed it down.
- 1:12:47Speaker 4: That's tough, like sassy black ladies never get diary like
- 1:12:51Speaker 4: she who has not shpit up a fucking cubicle bathroom
- 1:12:55Speaker 4: throw the first perfume puff.
