- 0:00Psalm 9 from the book of Psalms. Dear Lord, please be with us as
- 0:06we read through this chapter and open our hearts and our minds to
- 0:10what you have to say. We ask this in Jesus name, Amen.
- 0:16Psalm #9 I'll read through it first and then take it from
- 0:21there. I will give thanks.
- 0:23To you, Lord, with all my heart I will tell of all your
- 0:28wonderful deeds. I will be glad and rejoice in
- 0:31you. I will sing the praises of your
- 0:33name. O Most High, My enemies turn
- 0:35back, they stumble and perish before You.
- 0:38For You have upheld my right and My cause.
- 0:42Sitting enthroned as the righteous judge, You have
- 0:45rebuked the nations and destroyed the wicked.
- 0:48You have blotted out their name forever and ever.
- 0:53Endless ruin has overtaken my enemies.
- 0:56You have uprooted their cities. Even the memory of them has
- 1:00perished. The Lord reigns forever.
- 1:02He has established His front throne for judgment.
- 1:06He rules the world in righteousness, and He judges the
- 1:09peoples with equity. The Lord is a refuge for the
- 1:13oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.
- 1:16Those who know your name, trust in you, for you, Lord, have
- 1:20never forsaken those who seek you.
- 1:23Sing the praises of the Lord enthroned in Zion.
- 1:26Proclaim the nations what He has done.
- 1:30Proclaim among the nations what He has done.
- 1:33For he who Avengers blood remembers.
- 1:35He does not ignore the cries of the afflicted.
- 1:39Lord, see how my enemies persecute me.
- 1:42Have mercy and lift me up from the gates of death, that I may
- 1:47declare your praises in the gates of daughter Zion, and
- 1:52there rejoice in your salvation. The nations have fallen into the
- 1:57pit they have dug. Their feet are caught in the net
- 2:00they have hidden. The Lord is known by His acts of
- 2:04justice. The wicked are ensnared by the
- 2:07work of their hands. The wicked go down to the realm
- 2:10of the dead. All the nations that forget God,
- 2:15but God will never forget the needy.
- 2:18The hope of the afflicted will never perish.
- 2:21Arise, Lord, do not let mortals triumph.
- 2:24Let the nations be judged in your presence.
- 2:27Strike them with terror. Lord, let the nations know they
- 2:31are only mortal. That's the end of Psalm 9 and
- 2:36there is so much in here. So this is going to be another
- 2:39longer podcast probably. I'll read through the questions
- 2:42and answers from the Study Bible 1st and then I'll get into the
- 2:45things that I saw. Have the wicked been completely
- 2:48erased from history? No, this is figurative language
- 2:51that refers to redemptive history, not actual history.
- 2:55The Bible speaks of the names of the wicked being blotted out of
- 2:59the book of Life. How is the Lord a refuge for the
- 3:05oppressed? The oppressed are abused, are
- 3:08abused by those with more power. The imbalance of power puts the
- 3:12oppressed at the mercy of their oppressors.
- 3:14God, however, has much more power than the oppressors.
- 3:18Thus, God can deliver the exploited from those who would
- 3:22do to them harm. The Exodus, when God delivered
- 3:26his helpless people from the Chariots of Pharaoh, was a
- 3:29powerful demonstration of the Lord as a refuge.
- 3:33What does it mean that God Avengers blood?
- 3:36The psalmist was comforting the oppressed by reminding them that
- 3:39God will not let injustice go unanswered.
- 3:43The afflicted have no human resources to resist those who
- 3:47abuse them, but they can call on God to intervene.
- 3:52This reminder not only comforts comforts the afflicted, but
- 3:56warns those who would take advantage of them that God can
- 4:00and will eventually punish them, as Cain found out after he
- 4:05murdered his brother Abel. What are the gates of death?
- 4:09This is a poetic term for the edge of the grave, that is, for
- 4:12being near death. Why did they dig a pit and hide
- 4:16A net? Ancient hunters trapped animals
- 4:19by camouflaging holes dug in the ground or by hanging Nets from
- 4:23trees. David used these terms to
- 4:26describe how the efforts of his enemies had backfired on them.
- 4:31So that's the end of the study, Bibles.
- 4:33So I'll go back. To the top to pick up on just
- 4:37kind of the outline, the first thing, just the outline of Psalm
- 4:419 and what David is saying. I did forget to read this.
- 4:46It says for the director of music to the tune of the death
- 4:51of the son, a Psalm of David and son is spelled SON.
- 4:56So I don't really know that in context.
- 5:01Let's see, it says. Psalm 9 and 10 May originally
- 5:04have been a single acrostic poem in which alternating lines began
- 5:09with the successive letters of the Hebrew alphabet.
- 5:12In the Septuagint they constitute 1 Psalm.
- 5:16In Hebrews text, 9 verses one through 20 is numbered 9 two
- 5:22through 21. The Hebrew has higian and Selah,
- 5:26the words of uncertain meaning. Here Selah occurs at the end of
- 5:30the verse 20. So we see that a lot.
- 5:34In different psalms, Sela is kind of the end ending of those
- 5:38psalms, but those were the footnotes for Psalm actually.
- 5:42I guess 9 and 10. So we're just reading 9 today
- 5:46though. So the outline of 9 is basically
- 5:49thanks and praise is how he starts it.
- 5:52Then he said, you are the you provide justice, you're the
- 5:55protector. And then he's the king and he's
- 5:59refuge and he's also the protector and those who trust in
- 6:03him, those who seek him are those who seek him can trust him
- 6:08and know that he does this and he hears the prayers.
- 6:11And then one of this 13 through 14, I kind of wonder if it is
- 6:18maybe future. There's a way you can read this
- 6:20that it seems like it could be future.
- 6:23And that's pretty much, you know, there's eventually
- 6:27judgment and David is waiting for that to happen for the
- 6:33mortals. And that will happen in the very
- 6:36end. So that's.
- 6:37Kind of the outline, but to go back to verse.
- 6:40One again, if you were listening to the prior psalms that I
- 6:45talked about, actually verse, not verse, but Psalm.
- 6:48Eight, we talked about the different names for God, and
- 6:53this is really interesting because.
- 6:55In here it says. In verse 10 from Psalm 9 it
- 7:00says. Those who know your name, trust
- 7:04in you, for you Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you and
- 7:10I. After doing the study that I did
- 7:13on Psalm 8, now every time I see God, Lord, you know, I don't
- 7:21know what other words are used in the Bible for God.
- 7:25And there are many others. I want to look up and see what
- 7:29is the actual Hebrew word for it.
- 7:31Because in Psalm 8 we learned that Jehovah is the the official
- 7:41name of God the Father. And so that makes a difference
- 7:45because sometimes in the Bible when we look up Lord or we look
- 7:49up God, it is, it could be Jehovah, are ye ye Hova?
- 7:55That's how I, I'm pronouncing it incorrectly.
- 7:58But when I heard it on blueletterbible.org, it's ye ye
- 8:04Hova is how you say it. And Yehova, Yehova.
- 8:08I think that's how it is Yehova. Anyway, that is they're like
- 8:16interchangeable in the English versions.
- 8:19They're you don't know what is saying Lord 'cause there could
- 8:22be Adonai in Hebrew which means Lord or it could be Yehovah
- 8:29which means God the Father and it could mean other things like
- 8:35Yahweh is actually the the deity God.
- 8:39So and then it could be Elohim. Which is the plural God, which
- 8:45is? The Trinity, they are one in
- 8:48Spirit. Father, Son and Holy Spirit are
- 8:51one in Spirit. And you'll see Elohim and you'll
- 8:54notice that is the plural version of God.
- 8:58And so that's what but there is one Father, the Son and the Holy
- 9:02Spirit, and that's part of the Trinity.
- 9:04And you'll see that from the very beginning, beginning in the
- 9:07book of Genesis, the Spirit of God was hovering over the
- 9:11waters. And it also says in in the Bible
- 9:15how Jesus was present from the day of creation.
- 9:18So we know that all three in one, all three were present and
- 9:24they share a spirit because when Jesus prays before he goes on
- 9:27the cross, he says that he wants to pray for all of us so that we
- 9:32may be one, just as he and the Father are one.
- 9:36And then he sends his Holy Spirit.
- 9:38And that's how it happens. That's how we become one.
- 9:41And. The through the.
- 9:44The way the church uses the word sanctification or the
- 9:47purification of us that happens through the Holy Spirit, that's
- 9:52how we will be. We will return to God the
- 9:57Father. In that way, and we'll return to
- 10:00Jesus. Jesus will be the one who comes
- 10:02on the clouds and gathers his people, and in order to be
- 10:05gathered you have to have the Holy Spirit.
- 10:08And you have to believe, you have to trust Jesus and put all
- 10:11your faith in Jesus. He's the only way to salvation.
- 10:16And if you truly believe that, if you truly believe in Him,
- 10:21then and he knows your heart is right, that you have good
- 10:24intentions for it. Not that you just want to use it
- 10:26for your own selfish ambition. Because then he won't give you
- 10:29the Holy. Spirit because there were
- 10:31accounts of people in the New Testament who were baptized and
- 10:36they did not receive the Holy Spirit at that point, but some
- 10:39also received the Holy Spirit before they were even baptized.
- 10:43And then some received it after they were baptized, and some
- 10:47received it. The Holy Spirit him received him
- 10:51at at baptism and that's how when Jesus was on the.
- 10:57Cross, he said, Father, I commit my spirit to you.
- 11:00So the Spirit returned to the Father, had the physical body,
- 11:05died, and then he resurrected. And it was.
- 11:08By the power of the Holy Spirit that Jesus was resurrected.
- 11:13So that's the same thing that we need.
- 11:14We need the Holy Spirit in order to be in God's Kingdom.
- 11:20Just like Jesus said in John chapter 3, no one can enter the
- 11:24Kingdom of God unless they are born again, born of the water
- 11:29and born of the Spirit. And so anyway.
- 11:34There's a lot there to say that, but but that really ultimately
- 11:38is the summary of the good news is thank God that he loved us
- 11:44and that he sent his Son. There's no greater love than to
- 11:47lay one's life down for another. And that's what Jesus did for
- 11:51us. He wanted us so badly to be with
- 11:53Him that he gave us a way. Jesus is the way.
- 11:58But. We have to.
- 12:00Just because Jesus died on the cross doesn't mean that every
- 12:04single person is going to be in the Kingdom of God.
- 12:08It is those who believe in Jesus, those who put their faith
- 12:13in what has been told and, and the and, and receive the Holy
- 12:19Spirit. Because if you can't get into
- 12:22the Kingdom, that's really what salvation is, is God opening the
- 12:28doors to his Kingdom, to us. And Jesus said we can't have
- 12:31that unless we have the Holy Spirit.
- 12:34So just very important things to know.
- 12:38Anyway, I kind of got off the path, but that's very important
- 12:43information to know. And going back to that first
- 12:45part about like who was David speaking to?
- 12:48Who was David giving thanks to? And it was.
- 12:52Yehova or Yehova Y. Oh gosh, I don't know how I say
- 12:56it now, Yehova. It's YE lowercase like a very
- 13:03when it's phonetically spelled out Hova.
- 13:05So yeah, I think it's Yehova and that's.
- 13:09God the Father. So he's all throughout here
- 13:12everyone where every reference to Lord is really referencing
- 13:17the name of God and in verse 10 where it says those who know
- 13:22your name trust in you. So if you're listening to these
- 13:26podcasts and you really believe and you know the name now.
- 13:31Yehovah or make sure Yehovah. Make sure you find out, go to
- 13:35Blue Letter Bible and try and learn to say it if you don't
- 13:39know because I keep messing up obviously, but that is his name.
- 13:44That is God the Father's name and it says those who know your
- 13:49name trust in you. So I trust in God, and for you,
- 13:54Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.
- 13:57It also says in Scripture. If you seek.
- 13:59Me, you will find me. And honestly, I did not know the
- 14:03name of God until just yesterday.
- 14:06And so that's kind of interesting.
- 14:09But now every Psalm that I'm reading now or where I see a
- 14:13reference to anything that relates to God.
- 14:16Then I'm going to look up the Hebrew in the Old Testament and
- 14:21see what actually was that word. Was it Elohim?
- 14:24Was it Adonai? Was it Yehovah?
- 14:29So it makes a difference. OK, so now that we know that
- 14:34David is speaking to the Father, then he's.
- 14:39Let's see, he says in verse 5. This is a.
- 14:44Very interesting thing too. In verse 5, he said, you have
- 14:48rebuked the nations and destroyed the wicked.
- 14:51You have blotted out their name forever and ever.
- 14:57Well, blotting out the name is really interesting because this
- 15:01refers to the Book of Life. And there I'll read you.
- 15:07There's 8 verses in the NIV version that talk about the Book
- 15:11of Life. And there has been some question
- 15:14which I didn't really know the answer to, but now I think I
- 15:17understand it better. Like when is your name written
- 15:21in the Book of Life? So that's something that people
- 15:25debate and there probably will be multiple answers.
- 15:27And I will give you the reasons why I believe what I believe.
- 15:32I believe from Scripture that everyone's name, everyone who
- 15:38God created, I'm going to clarify that everyone who God
- 15:41created is written in the books of life.
- 15:46Now, why would I say, didn't you know?
- 15:47Like didn't God create everything?
- 15:50Yes and no, because what happened in the very first, not
- 15:57the first book, but it well, the first book, Genesis, what
- 16:01happened in the book of Genesis in chapter 3, verse 15 is
- 16:07something that gives an indication that there may be
- 16:14other offspring besides human offspring.
- 16:19Just I'll, I'll read Genesis 1314 and Genesis 15 and then
- 16:25we'll also go to Genesis 6. So this is going to be things
- 16:28that the the churches don't often talk about because it's
- 16:31probably, I don't, it's a little bit, it's in the Bible.
- 16:34So research it and go word for word and look at different
- 16:39versions so you can get the understanding of this.
- 16:42So this is when God kind of rebukes Eve, Adam and Eve and
- 16:50the serpent or Satan in the Garden of Eden after sin
- 16:56happened when the woman was deceived by the serpent and then
- 17:01she gave it to her husband and then he was also deceived.
- 17:05So that's when sin entered the world.
- 17:08So at this rebuking of all of them, God is, you know, very he.
- 17:15Let's see, I want to also look the Lord God because it says the
- 17:19Lord Yehovah Elohim, the Lord God, so the Father, but Elohim
- 17:28is the plurality. So here it's not, it's not
- 17:31Adonai God, it's Jehovah Yehovah Elohim, which I like I said is
- 17:39plural for God. So this is like God the Father,
- 17:45but in plurality. So he's one in one with because
- 17:49he's called Elohim also. So the Lord God said to the
- 17:54serpent, and it's probably because they're all in union,
- 17:58like the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are all in union, but
- 18:02it's Jehovah the Father said to the serpent, because you have
- 18:07done this cursed are you above all livestock and all wild
- 18:13animals. You will crawl on your belly and
- 18:16you will eat dust all the days of your life.
- 18:20And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between
- 18:26your offspring and hers. He will crush your head and you
- 18:32will strike his heel. So you have to read that slowly
- 18:36between your offspring. And it's like it's also said
- 18:41seed, which is really interesting between your seed.
- 18:46So then you have to look up, well, what is your seed?
- 18:48And that's zero. I think that's how you say it.
- 18:53I want to see if it's pronounced that way 20. 2:30. 3 Zara Zara.
- 19:00OK, I don't get that right. But anyway, it's between your
- 19:02seed Zara and if you look that up, the outline of the biblical
- 19:08usage is seed sowing or offspring and a sowing a seed or
- 19:14semen virile. So it has to do with semen,
- 19:18offspring, descendants, posterity children.
- 19:22So that really makes it a lot more interesting because the
- 19:25first time I was reading this slowly and then said and read
- 19:32this about between you, he's talking to the serpent and the
- 19:37woman and between your offspring and hers.
- 19:42So that means that he, the serpent has offspring who are
- 19:48those offspring? So that's what's really
- 19:50interesting. So here's why I think the Book
- 19:53of Life is written in the very beginning.
- 19:55Because if we go back to the very first book of Genesis where
- 20:03He with the creation happened in Genesis chapter one, we know
- 20:07that He created man and He created all the creatures, He
- 20:12created everything in the earth and He rested on the 7th day,
- 20:17but on the 6th day. Verse 31 of Genesis, the very
- 20:22first book of the Bible, chapter one, verse 31, it says God saw
- 20:27all that he made and it was very good.
- 20:32And there was evening and there was morning the 6th day.
- 20:36So something else we have to keep in context with is when God
- 20:42made everything. This is before sin entered into
- 20:44the world, everything was good. God did not create this
- 20:50wickedness. But here's how wickedness came
- 20:54about. Even Satan wasn't created to be
- 20:57wicked. We'll find, we'll talk about
- 20:59that too. So God created everything that
- 21:02was good. But here's where wickedness came
- 21:05in. God gave us free will, and he
- 21:08gave the angels free will also. So that's how wickedness
- 21:12entered. It entered because of free will,
- 21:18essentially, like I, and I believe that's one of those
- 21:22things where God is not a slave driver.
- 21:26He has the door open and He welcomes all of us into His
- 21:30Kingdom. But he gives us a choice and
- 21:34some people reject Him. Some people want nothing to do
- 21:37with them. Some people like evil things.
- 21:41Some people like rebelling against God, and then there's
- 21:45also the evil ones that are supernatural that I think
- 21:49influence people to do things. They corrupt people just like in
- 21:52the very beginning with the story of Adam and Eve where it
- 21:55was the serpent who made them question God and made them
- 22:01think, is God holding back good things from us?
- 22:05They they didn't trust in God. Then they started questioning at
- 22:08it and say, did he really say that?
- 22:10Did he say I wasn't supposed to eat from this?
- 22:13They knew the got the rules God gave them, but they chose to do
- 22:19what God said not to do. And that's where free will comes
- 22:24in. And and you know, there's the
- 22:26best way, if you think about it, if you think about love is that
- 22:31you can't force someone to love you.
- 22:36You can love someone, but they may not love you back.
- 22:40And that's the same for God. God loves all of us, but some of
- 22:46us might not love God back. And Jesus said, if you love me,
- 22:51you will obey my commands. So that's the way we show God
- 22:55that we love him is by being obedient to him.
- 22:58That's where Adam and Eve did not they they started this whole
- 23:02sin thing. And then because when sin
- 23:05enters, there's something that perpetuates that really.
- 23:11And that's the whole reason why sacrifices had to start because
- 23:16of God's laws and a life for a life.
- 23:20So that's why God, you know, he, he loved mankind and so he
- 23:26allowed as a substitute sacrifice animals to be
- 23:30sacrificed. And but that's not what he
- 23:33liked. And there's a part that's in the
- 23:35Bible that says, you know, I detest your sacrifices.
- 23:39I would rather have you show mercy.
- 23:42That was only a way to keep people from probably eternal
- 23:47death. And God allowed that.
- 23:49It was like, we don't know all the laws.
- 23:52We only know the laws that God has revealed to us through
- 23:55Scripture. But for some reason, well, it
- 23:58says the wages of sin is death. So we know that from the New
- 24:02Testament. Paul wrote that.
- 24:05And so if what we get paid for sin is death, then there needed
- 24:13to be something to make atonement.
- 24:15And God allowed animals to be used for atonement until Jesus
- 24:20came. And then since Jesus came, Jesus
- 24:24made atonement for all of us. Because remember, the animals,
- 24:28if you know about what's in Leviticus, the animals had to be
- 24:32without blemish. They had to be pure.
- 24:34There were all of these qualifications that the animal
- 24:37that was sacrificed had to be. He was the animal was, you know,
- 24:42kind of a foreshadowing of what Jesus would be, the lamb.
- 24:47And that's why he's referred to as the lamb because it ties it
- 24:50to the sacrifices that were required.
- 24:52And Jesus sacrificed his life, lay down his life.
- 24:55No greater love than to lay one's life down for another.
- 24:58Well, that's what Jesus did for us.
- 25:00So all along God is trying to get mankind into his Kingdom,
- 25:07and he has an enemy who is against him that's trying to
- 25:11separate us from the very beginning.
- 25:14I think. I think this is just
- 25:16speculation. It's not written into the Bible.
- 25:18But I think the enemy, Satan wants the earth.
- 25:24He wants to rule the earth. He wants to be king.
- 25:26And humans stand in his way of doing that.
- 25:30Like he could have this. He thinks he could have this
- 25:33whole earth and it could be his. He was given some sort of
- 25:36authority over it. But, you know, just God is he
- 25:41can give authority and he can take it away.
- 25:45It talks about in Ephesians how we wrestle not against flesh and
- 25:50blood, but against the powers, against the authorities, against
- 25:54the principalities in the heavenly realms.
- 25:58So it clearly sounds like God kind of gave some other
- 26:04supernatural entity power to have authority over certain
- 26:10parts of the earth. And we know that Satan roams the
- 26:13earth and he goes back and visits God because we find that
- 26:16in Job where he's standing in the presence of God and he's
- 26:19accusing people because he doesn't like people.
- 26:22And he's also manipulate, manipulative, and will put
- 26:27thoughts into people's head and influence them.
- 26:30And also, anger is another way. It's easy to get angry when
- 26:34somebody does something insensitive or wrong to us.
- 26:39And that's where it says like basically don't go to bed in
- 26:44anger because anger is the foothold of the devil.
- 26:48So that's, and then what happens with anger, if you don't address
- 26:52it right, right away, it builds up over time and it can lead to
- 26:56something as horrible as actually killing somebody.
- 27:01So that's something that that's how again, that accomplishes.
- 27:05Satan seeks to steal, kill and destroy.
- 27:09So if he can get that anger riled up in somebody and that
- 27:13anger grows to where they will want to destroy another person
- 27:18or they will want to kill another person.
- 27:20And he's stealing from God. He's stealing people from God.
- 27:24Like God created everything that was good.
- 27:26So all people were good when God created them, but he gave them
- 27:30free will. And there was that influence of
- 27:34Satan which started it all that lured mankind into questioning
- 27:40God, doubting God. And then there was consequences
- 27:44after that. And that's how sin got into this
- 27:48world was from evil. It was from Satan.
- 27:52And in Ezekiel we, we learn a little bit.
- 27:55It's kind of interesting because it's, it's, is it part of it
- 27:58about the king of Tyre? But part of it is probably about
- 28:00Satan because the king of Tyre, you know, thousands of years
- 28:06probably or hundreds of years after creation, this couldn't be
- 28:11a king. That's described here in Ezekiel
- 28:13chapter 28, verse 11 through I don't know how far I'll go, but
- 28:19I'll read this to you. And this is about Satan and
- 28:22probably Tyre. Maybe Satan has possessed the
- 28:28king of Tyre. That's a possibility because
- 28:31they can do that or they can influence.
- 28:35So I don't know which. But anyway, this is what Ezekiel
- 28:39saw. The word of the Lord came to me,
- 28:41Son of man, lament for the king of Tyre and say to him, this is
- 28:46what the Lord God says. You were the seal of perfection,
- 28:51full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.
- 28:55You were in Eden, the garden of God.
- 28:59Every kind of precious stone covered you.
- 29:03Carnelian, Topaz, diamond, Beryl, Onyx, Jasper, lapis
- 29:08lazuli, turquoise, and emerald. Now those stones were the stones
- 29:13that were on like a high priest. Then it says your mountings and
- 29:17settings were crafted in gold. They were prepared on the day
- 29:21you were created. Satan was a created being.
- 29:25Then it says you were anointed guardian cherub, for I had
- 29:31appointed you. So God put him in.
- 29:34This is probably where his ruling started.
- 29:37You were on the holy mountain of God.
- 29:40You walked among the fiery stones from the day you were
- 29:44created. You were blameless in your ways.
- 29:47So this is, you know, good like you were good when you were
- 29:50created until wickedness was found in you through the
- 29:57abundance of your trade. You were filled with violence
- 30:01and you sinned. So I expelled you in disgrace
- 30:06from the mountain of God and banished you garden cherub from
- 30:10among the fiery stones. So this could be when Jesus
- 30:14said, I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.
- 30:19So this is, this is also, you know, maybe that's when he was
- 30:23expelled from the mountain of God.
- 30:25Your heart became proud because of your beauty.
- 30:29For the sake of your splendor, you corrupted your wisdom.
- 30:33So he was wise and and splendid and beautiful.
- 30:37So I threw you down to the ground.
- 30:39I made you a spectacle before kings.
- 30:43You profaned your sanctuaries by the magnitude of your iniquities
- 30:48in your dishonest trade. So I made fire come from within
- 30:52you. That just brought to mind
- 30:55something that was talked about in Job Leviathan.
- 30:59I think it was Leviathan that actually breathed fire and and
- 31:06it also talks about, you know, the the Lord overcoming him and
- 31:11and Leviathan, I think is also called Rahab, the monster of the
- 31:14sea. There's lots of different names.
- 31:16And then it's interesting too in the Book of Revelation, how the
- 31:20beast comes out of the sea and is empowered by the dragon and a
- 31:24dragon. You know, even in like
- 31:28storybooks, the dragon breathed fire.
- 31:31So, but it does say in the book of Job about how this, this
- 31:35animal or this being that God created, whether it was
- 31:39symbolic, you know, like a serpent or a dragon or something
- 31:42like that. If it was just symbolic, but
- 31:44Leviathan and or maybe it's a different entity and it's not
- 31:48Satan specifically, but it was something and it said in the
- 31:52Book of Job how fire came from its mouth.
- 31:56So that's kind of interesting. So I made fire come from within
- 32:02you and it consumed you. So it also says like, like the
- 32:07two witnesses, fire will come from the mouth from their
- 32:10mouths. And that's how those who I don't
- 32:13know are wicked or something will be will be consumed.
- 32:19And I don't know that it's going to be a literal file fire in the
- 32:24Book of Revelation by the two witnesses, but I think that's
- 32:28probably the fire is the word of God.
- 32:31And that's how people will be destroyed when the books are
- 32:34opened. And then according to the word
- 32:37of God, some will be placed into the eternal fire.
- 32:41And so I think that's really maybe what it refers to.
- 32:45So it says, I reduced you to ashes on the ground in the sight
- 32:49of everyone watching you. All those who knew you among the
- 32:53peoples are appalled at you. You have become an object of
- 32:57horror and will never exist again.
- 33:01So this is it could be prophetic.
- 33:05Ezekiel was a a prophet and he said the word of the Lord came.
- 33:09And so this could be something that is going to happen in the
- 33:12future. And maybe the king of Tyre is
- 33:16actually, like I said, influencing the actual king.
- 33:20So maybe it could mean both? Take up your lamentation over
- 33:25the king of. Tyre yeah.
- 33:28So that's, you know, a mystery. Some of these prophecies we
- 33:33really don't know. We won't know for sure any of
- 33:35our interpretations, if they're correct, until after they've
- 33:39happened. And then we'll see.
- 33:40But we do know that Satan is cast down from heaven and he's
- 33:46given a period of 3 1/2 years to to reign on earth.
- 33:50And then when Jesus takes back the Kingdom, then Satan will be
- 33:57locked up for 1000 years. But then he will be released
- 34:01after that thousand years and he will get together a bunch of
- 34:06people to rebel against God again.
- 34:08But then by the power of God's, I think just the power of his
- 34:11word or something to that effect, he will be instantly
- 34:14destroyed. Like there's no, there's no,
- 34:20there's no point in even there's not even a war.
- 34:22It's just like almost instantaneously.
- 34:23That's the way it sounds like the Bible and says then he's
- 34:26thrown into the lake of fire. So that's where he goes
- 34:29probably, you know, into there. So long story about all of that,
- 34:34but this is let's see, how did I get there?
- 34:39I think you had blotted out their name forever and ever, or
- 34:42I think maybe that's what we were talking about.
- 34:46I kind of got a. Little bit off track.
- 34:47But again, these things are important to know and we're
- 34:50covering like the whole entire Bible, but the Lamb's Book of
- 34:55Life, this is something that touches on another subject, like
- 34:59predestination in the book of life, like who was written in
- 35:03the book of life. Oh, that's how I got there
- 35:06because I believe that all people, all human beings who God
- 35:11created, so not who Satan created.
- 35:14Because here's the other part that I talked about getting into
- 35:20or talking about chapter 6 in the book of Genesis.
- 35:25Now, this is another thing that is not often spoken of, but it's
- 35:30important to know it and I'll just read this to you and then
- 35:33talk about it. So Genesis 6 chapter 6 verse
- 35:37one. Then the people began to
- 35:40multiply on the earth and daughters were born to them.
- 35:43The sons of God saw the beautiful women and took any
- 35:48they wanted as wives. The sons of God here are
- 35:51referring to angels. OK, that's like the
- 35:56interpretation that biblical scholars use.
- 35:59The sons of God. Those are a reference to angels.
- 36:02I don't know why they say sons of God instead of the angels,
- 36:05but it's how it's been understood is that the sons of
- 36:09God were angels, saw beautiful women and took any they wanted
- 36:13as their wives. Then the Lord said my spirit
- 36:18will not put up with humans for such a long time for they are
- 36:23only mortal flesh. In the future, their normal
- 36:28lifespan will be no more than 120 years.
- 36:33In those days and for some time after, giant Nepholites lived on
- 36:40the earth. For whenever the sons of God had
- 36:44intercourse with women, they gave birth to children who
- 36:50became the heroes and the famous warriors of the ancient times.
- 36:56The Lord observed the extent of human wickedness on the earth,
- 37:00and He saw that everything they thought or imagined was
- 37:04consistently and totally evil. So the Lord was sorry He ever
- 37:09made them and them on earth. It broke his heart and the Lord
- 37:15said I will wipe this human race I have created from the face of
- 37:19the earth. Yes, I will destroy every living
- 37:22thing, all the people, the large animals, the small animals that
- 37:25scurry on the ground, and even the birds of the sky.
- 37:28I am sorry I ever made them. But Noah found favor with the
- 37:33Lord. Then it goes into Noah's Noah.
- 37:37It says this is the account of Noah and his family.
- 37:39Noah was a righteous man, the only blameless person living on
- 37:44the earth at that time. And he walked in close
- 37:46fellowship with God. He was the father of three sons.
- 37:51So anyway, this is This is why God decided to.
- 37:55You can finish reading chapter 6.
- 37:57This is why God decided to send the flood, and the flood is
- 38:01actually archaeologically. There's a something in Turkey,
- 38:10up on a mountain in Ararat that is believed to be the Ark of
- 38:15Noah that has been found. I don't know within the 19th
- 38:19century, I believe is when they first found it, but there's a
- 38:22renewed interest in that. There's also some studies that
- 38:26were done in the Grand Canyon, and it was interesting because
- 38:31the government wouldn't approve these archaeologists to go in
- 38:34there for some reason. But they wanted, they wanted to
- 38:38see if there was evidence for Noah's flood in the Grand
- 38:42Canyon, which they did prove that there was evidence for it.
- 38:45But they had such a resistance from the government, you kind of
- 38:49wonder if there's this like battle between good and evil, if
- 38:52it was just that they didn't want anybody to get that
- 38:57knowledge because they didn't want people to know that God is
- 39:00real and the Bible is true. So science, not all science,
- 39:05because a lot of scientists are says that more or less the
- 39:11humble will confound the wise because sometimes the people get
- 39:14so wise of their own understanding that they don't
- 39:19believe in God. But I'm seeing some scientific
- 39:23people who never really acknowledge God, who are coming
- 39:26to God now, which is awesome. And there is proof.
- 39:30It's just a matter of your heart really.
- 39:32Do you want to accept it or not? Because there is proof.
- 39:35There is archaeological evidence of what the Bible says, which is
- 39:40so awesome. You can find it here and there,
- 39:43but it doesn't get broadcast as as grand as a lot of other
- 39:48things in the world do. But the point going back to this
- 39:53is that we're talking about our thinking about the seed of
- 39:58Satan. So if if these offspring.
- 40:04It says from Satan. Now, would it also be like
- 40:07these? That's what we call the fallen
- 40:09angels, the sons of God who interacted with, who had
- 40:15intercourse with women and created the Nephilim who were
- 40:18giants. So giants.
- 40:20I mean, you think about all these fairy tales that we grew
- 40:22up with as kids with giants and Dragons and all these things and
- 40:26everybody stole their myths. I don't know if they are myths.
- 40:29I mean, because I think they were originated back in time and
- 40:32these things probably did happen, which I instead they
- 40:37actually found it. It's documented in Scripture.
- 40:41I think that it's like the kings of Ogg and Sihan.
- 40:45I believe they might have been Nephilim, but their bed was like
- 40:489 feet tall or something, even 9 feet in length, so really large,
- 40:53you know, and it, you know, David and Goliath, that was the
- 40:56story that a lot of the Philistines were Nephilim, the
- 41:00Canaanites in that land. When Joshua went to through the
- 41:04land of Canaan, the promised land that God was giving to
- 41:07them, they saw these giants there and they got fearful.
- 41:11And the only people that reported anything positive were
- 41:14Joshua and Caleb. And God rewarded them because he
- 41:18didn't let the others enter into the promised land, but Joshua
- 41:22and Caleb took the descendants of those and they did enter into
- 41:28the promised land. So all of this stuff ties
- 41:30together. It's a very fascinating story
- 41:32about how the world started and what happened in the history and
- 41:37so forth. But so there's, there's
- 41:40certainly seed or offspring according to the Bible that is
- 41:45not of God. Like God didn't tell the angels
- 41:51go have sex with humans and populate the earth.
- 41:55He did say that to Adam. He did say, you know, like
- 41:59increase and multiply. He said that to the human being
- 42:02he created and he created Eve for Adam and, and so, but then
- 42:08he did not tell the angels. There's nowhere in the Bible
- 42:10that he said go have intercourse with women and populate the
- 42:15earth. No, these are wicked ones who
- 42:17rebelled against God. And maybe this was their plan to
- 42:21just probably just to destroy humans, the ones who were not
- 42:25Nephilim, to destroy the human beings.
- 42:28Again, Satan seeks to steal, kill and destroy, so he creates
- 42:32these giant beings that are are vicious and mean and would
- 42:38attack human beings to kill them.
- 42:41So it's all about like Satan's takeover of the earth, which he
- 42:45doesn't get. We know that from the Bible, but
- 42:48this is this all kind of makes sense the more you get into it.
- 42:52So when David's saying you have blotted out their name forever
- 42:57and ever, this is the wicked, the wicked.
- 43:03Well, we, I guess I need to back up and talk about the book of
- 43:06life because there is there's another verse in here in Psalm
- 43:1269, verse 28 that says may they be blotted out of the book of
- 43:18life and not be listed with the righteous.
- 43:21So who is he talking about? He is talking about, I'm
- 43:28scrolling up to the top about he's talking about the people.
- 43:35Those who hate me without reason outnumber the hairs of my head
- 43:38as my enemies. He's talking about all the
- 43:40enemies that he has. This is David talking to God in
- 43:43Psalm 69 and he's asking God, may they be blotted out of the
- 43:48book of life and not be listed with the righteous.
- 43:51So wouldn't this indicate that they were at one time written in
- 43:57the book of life? Because now they are being
- 44:01blotted out of the book of life. You can't be blotted out of the
- 44:05book of life and unless you were already in the book of life, so
- 44:10it says, and not be listed with the righteous.
- 44:13So we know the righteous are in the book of life.
- 44:16So the wicked therefore are probably blotted out of the book
- 44:21of life. But Satan's descendants are not
- 44:26even entered into the Book of Life like they never were
- 44:30because that wasn't something God created.
- 44:33They God created both of them, but he didn't create angels and
- 44:37humans to commingle. There are things that God, you
- 44:40know, joins together and things that he doesn't join together.
- 44:43In fact, he did. He caused the flood to get rid
- 44:48of what was happening in the earth and give humanity a start
- 44:53again. And he started them out with
- 44:54Noah and his family. There were only eight people on
- 44:58the ark, and all of us are descendants from Noah, from one
- 45:02part of his family. Unless there's more of this like
- 45:06stuff that happened in the past with fallen angels and human
- 45:09beings. I don't know.
- 45:10But we certainly don't see giants today, so that that
- 45:16wouldn't be the case. But are there other people who
- 45:19are not giants? I don't know, but I guess we
- 45:24will find out in the end. It's not really all that
- 45:26important, but the thing that's important is that if God created
- 45:30us and humans are who God created, God created us out of
- 45:35love. He has purpose for every single
- 45:38person that he created. It says in the book of Jeremiah
- 45:41that he knows like every single hair is numbered on our head.
- 45:44And I think David even talks about that, and I think other
- 45:48people do too, just like the hairs on the head, Like God
- 45:51knows us so intimately, every single person and everything
- 45:55that he creates. God isn't creating wicked
- 45:59things, but he does give us free will and we can choose between
- 46:05good and evil. And God wants those.
- 46:08He wants all of us to turn to him to be sanctified by the Holy
- 46:13Spirit. And he says be holy because I'm
- 46:16holy, because if we are children of God, we will be holy.
- 46:20And so the Holy Spirit is who helps us become holy because we
- 46:25aren't really good at it on our own.
- 46:28And until we actually surrender our will to the Father's will,
- 46:32just like Jesus did on the cross, surrendered his will to
- 46:37that of the not on the cross. Before he went on the cross, he
- 46:40asked if there is, you know, a way to do this basically that
- 46:43doesn't involve what he knew was coming up, let it be done.
- 46:46But if not, he said your will be done.
- 46:48So Jesus in his human form surrendered to the Father in
- 46:53that. And that's the same thing that
- 46:55if we are going to be brothers and sisters with Jesus, God
- 46:59wants us to do the same thing, to surrender our will, our
- 47:02desires to his will and to become holy like he is holy.
- 47:10And so that his that's his plan. So we are all, from my
- 47:15understanding and from searching the Bible, we are all written
- 47:18into the book of life, as long as we were not a seed from Satan
- 47:22or the fallen angels, we are written in the book of life.
- 47:25But how we respond to God is going to determine where we end
- 47:29up in eternity. Do we believe in Jesus?
- 47:32Do we trust in him? Do we do we just sit, You know,
- 47:35we don't look to ourselves. It's it's a humbling of
- 47:37ourselves knowing that we cannot do it alone, knowing that we
- 47:41will fail on our own, that we need the power of God to
- 47:45overcome ourselves essentially, and and that we don't overcome
- 47:51unless it's with God or through God.
- 47:54So that's how that's how it all happens.
- 47:57So hopefully this is. Clear what I'm saying.
- 48:00It's taken me a long time to understand this.
- 48:02But it's it's makes so much sense now.
- 48:07So anyway, getting back to the book of life and blotting out of
- 48:11the book of life. And then in Philippians it says
- 48:14yes. And I ask you my true companion,
- 48:17help these women since they have contended at my side in the
- 48:21cause of the gospel or the good news, the good news about Jesus
- 48:25along with Clement and the rest of my Co workers whose names are
- 48:29in the book of life. So those who are spreading the
- 48:34gospel, the good news of Jesus, their names are written in the
- 48:38book of life. I mean, the, the ones that Paul
- 48:40was talking about, like all these people who are his
- 48:43coworkers who are, you know, speaking about Jesus and
- 48:47salvation, they those names are in the book of life.
- 48:54Then in Revelation, Oh gosh, there's multiple chapters in
- 48:58Revelation that address the book of life.
- 49:01And this is Jesus talking, the one who is OK.
- 49:06This is Revelation chapter 3, verse 5.
- 49:08The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white.
- 49:14I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of
- 49:19life, but will acknowledge that name before my Father and his
- 49:24angels. So again, this is how Jesus is
- 49:29the Savior of us. And the interesting thing is
- 49:33that he says I will never blot out the name of that person.
- 49:36And that person is talking about the one who's victorious.
- 49:39Victorious over what? Here's what it I'll just read.
- 49:44It's a short, it's Revelation 3, one through 36.
- 49:48So it says to the Angel of the Church of Sardis, right?
- 49:51These are the words of him who holds the seven spirits of God
- 49:55and the seven stars. I know your deeds.
- 49:58You have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead.
- 50:03Wake up. So you are dead.
- 50:05That probably means they're sinning.
- 50:07Wake up, strengthen what remains and is about to die.
- 50:12For I have found your deeds unfinished in the sight of my
- 50:16God. Remember, therefore, what you
- 50:20have received and heard. Hold it fast and repent.
- 50:25You know, turn back to God, turn your life around, get sin out of
- 50:29your life. But if you do not wake up, I
- 50:32will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I
- 50:36will come to you. Yet you have a few people in
- 50:40Sardis who have not soiled their clothes.
- 50:44So that basically means not sinned if you're clothed in
- 50:49white linen. Those are like whole garments of
- 50:51holiness. OK, they will walk with me
- 50:54dressed in white, for they are worthy.
- 50:58The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white.
- 51:03I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of
- 51:07Life, but will acknowledge that name before my Father and his
- 51:11angels. Whoever has ears, let them hear
- 51:13what the Spirit says to the churches.
- 51:15So this is written to Christians, not to unbelievers.
- 51:20This is written to Christians, and it's the one who is
- 51:25victorious, the one who overcomes, the one who repents,
- 51:29the one who turns to God. He will not blot out the name.
- 51:33But those who do keep sinning, sounds like their names could be
- 51:39blotted out because why would he ever say that if God put our
- 51:43names in at the beginning, if he even like, why would he even say
- 51:47blot out if it wasn't something that happened?
- 51:52So then in Revelation 13 verse 8, it says all inhabitants of
- 51:57the earth will worship the beast, all whose names have not
- 52:00been written in the Lamb's book of life, the Lamb who was slain
- 52:05from the creation of the world. This is a little bit confusing
- 52:08in the NIV how it says it. So I'm going to read the NASB,
- 52:11which is a little bit better. All who dwell on the earth will
- 52:16worship him. That's like the beast.
- 52:19The symbolic beast will worship the the evil one that rises up
- 52:25everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of
- 52:32the of the world in the book of life, in the book of life of the
- 52:39lamb who has been slain. So that's a clearer
- 52:45interpretation of this, this sentence.
- 52:49So it's saying that everybody who's on earth that, yeah, those
- 52:58all who dwell on earth will worship him.
- 53:03This is the evil one whose name has not or It's OU is the Hebrew
- 53:10word, but it it just means is not or not has not or is not
- 53:15written from the creation of the world.
- 53:20So that could be like all of the the Satan's offspring that were
- 53:26not written from the foundation of the world.
- 53:29That's why, you know, if the IT talks about the book of the life
- 53:32from the foundation of the world, it sounds like that was
- 53:34in existence. And so maybe when God creates
- 53:38us, that's when our name is, when he gives us his Spirit,
- 53:42that's when our name is put into the book of life, when he gives
- 53:47life to us. But then what happens to us
- 53:50afterwards is, oh, actually when I said Hebrew, I meant Greek.
- 53:57But then after, because we're in the New Testament, so then and
- 54:03then how we respond to God, eventually there's a time where
- 54:08God, you know, takes action. He gives us opportunity after
- 54:14opportunity to respond to him. But if we keep on refusing him,
- 54:20God has a limit. We don't know what that limit
- 54:23is. But like, I didn't like me
- 54:25personally, I realized that I probably had multiple choice
- 54:29chances from God to do the right thing and I wasn't doing the
- 54:32right thing and I didn't want to test it anymore.
- 54:35Because the only time that we have to get this right to get
- 54:38right with God is while we're living.
- 54:40Once we die, there is no purgatory.
- 54:43That's a myth. There is no purgatory.
- 54:45It's whatever we are, whatever our relationship with God is.
- 54:50Like when we die, if we are believers in Jesus and we trust
- 54:54in Him and we've received the Holy Spirit, we're saved if we
- 55:00keep rebelling and against God and keep on sinning.
- 55:03It says those who keep on sinning have basically do not
- 55:06know God and all they can expect is judgment.
- 55:09So it's not good for people to keep on sinning.
- 55:13Let's see then Revelation 17/8 says The beast which you saw
- 55:18once was, now is not, and yet will come up out of the abyss
- 55:23and go to its destruction. The inhabitants of the earth
- 55:27whose names have not been written in the Book of Life from
- 55:31the creation of the world will not will be astonished when they
- 55:35see the beast, because it once was, now is not and yet will
- 55:38come. So the names who have not been
- 55:42written in the book of life from the creation of the world.
- 55:45So from the beginning of the world, I I don't know that God
- 55:50makes everything good. So I again, there's different
- 55:54interpretations of this verse. Some believe that God only
- 55:59selects some people to be in his Kingdom.
- 56:02I believe that God is more loving than that.
- 56:06And I believe that God wanted everyone he created.
- 56:09But the question is, what did he create?
- 56:11And if we rebelled, do we then become a child of Satan if we're
- 56:17doing evil things? And then is that the point where
- 56:20God blots him out of the book when they just make that choice
- 56:24very clear that they choose evil over God?
- 56:28I don't know the answers and I and no one does, honestly,
- 56:30because it's debated on how to interpret the Scripture.
- 56:34But I think there's evidence that God created everything good
- 56:38and it's our choice that and puts us where we end up
- 56:44essentially like we can't blame anybody.
- 56:46We have to be accountable for our own actions.
- 56:49So in Revelation 20, verse 12, it says, and I saw dead, great
- 56:53and small standing before the throne, and the books were open.
- 56:56Another book was opened, which is the Book of Life.
- 57:00The dead were judged according to what they had done as
- 57:03recorded in the books. In verse 15, it says anyone
- 57:08whose name was not found written in the Book of Life was thrown
- 57:13into the lake of fire. So if your name is not in the
- 57:18book of life, you are thrown into the lake of fire.
- 57:22So there's a book of life. Those are The Who who are given
- 57:25life. And I guess there's another
- 57:28interpretation of the Book of Life.
- 57:30And when somebody's name goes in there is when they were given
- 57:34the Holy Spirit. And I don't that one I have a
- 57:39little bit harder time with because not everyone is given
- 57:43the Holy Spirit early on in their life.
- 57:46Like I believe John the Baptist was given the Holy Spirit early
- 57:50on in life. Then there was a Samson who was
- 57:55given the Holy Spirit early on in his life.
- 57:58And I think, well, those are the ones that I can think of.
- 58:04There may be others too. But not everybody.
- 58:07And so I don't know. I mean when it says it was
- 58:11written from the foundation of the earth, from the beginning of
- 58:13the earth. I just.
- 58:17And it's, you know, it's debatable, but it's definitely
- 58:21talks about people being blotted.
- 58:23Out of the Book of. Life So if God in the beginning
- 58:25said these are going to be good, these are going to be bad, then
- 58:30none of the bad would be written in the book of life.
- 58:34So for something to be blotted out of the book of Life, there
- 58:40has to be something that. Causes that to happen.
- 58:43And we know the ones who were not written in the book of life
- 58:47were probably the offspring of Satan.
- 58:50And so they just don't have an opportunity like the Nephilim
- 58:53are not going to be in God's Kingdom.
- 58:55They don't have an opportunity to repent, as I understand,
- 59:01because they they're not written in the book of life.
- 59:04I mean, maybe there's another judgment for them that's
- 59:06different from humans judgment. So I don't know that for sure
- 59:10because that's not written in the Bible.
- 59:12So I better just take that one back.
- 59:14I don't, I don't know, but just interesting to think about.
- 59:18Revelation 21 verse 27. Nothing impure will ever enter
- 59:23it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful,
- 59:27but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of
- 59:31life. This is about the Kingdom of God
- 59:34and who actually enters the Kingdom of God.
- 59:38So oh, there was something that I missed.
- 59:41OK, this verse, Revelation 13, verse 8, it says all the
- 59:46inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast, all whose
- 59:49names who've not been written in the Lamb's book of life, the
- 59:52Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world.
- 59:55Now this was really interesting. From the foundation of the
- 1:00:01world, there was a reason that I.
- 1:00:05I had saved that one, or I was looking at that one, all the
- 1:00:09inhabitants. OK, so it says all who dwell.
- 1:00:14On the earth will worship him. Everyone whose name has not been
- 1:00:21written from the found. Oh, I think it was probably from
- 1:00:24the foundation. So that's like the foundation of
- 1:00:27the world. So when the world was just
- 1:00:31beginning, all who have not been written into the book of life
- 1:00:38and let's see, oh, the foundation.
- 1:00:43OK, this is where it is. Oh gosh, I did.
- 1:00:46There was a reason, a different reason.
- 1:00:48So it says. Let me read that again.
- 1:00:53See, these were all the new things for me.
- 1:00:55So I'm learning this today too. All who dwell on the.
- 1:00:59Earth. Will worship him.
- 1:01:02It's referring to the evil one, everyone whose name has not been
- 1:01:07written from the foundation. The foundation is the critical
- 1:01:12word that we're going to look into of the world from the
- 1:01:15foundation of the world. When we look at what the what
- 1:01:18does the foundation mean? It is.
- 1:01:23I'm going to just play this for you.
- 1:01:28Strong's G26-O2 kata Ballet Kata Ballet.
- 1:01:34So it's kata ballet. And it's it the definition, the
- 1:01:39outline of the biblical usage is a throwing or laying down.
- 1:01:44It says the injection or depositing of the virile semen
- 1:01:50in the womb. Isn't that interesting?
- 1:01:52The foundation, the beginning and those who are not written in
- 1:01:56the Lamb's book of life are those the offspring of Satan.
- 1:02:02And then it says of the seeds of the plants and animals, a
- 1:02:05founding or laying down of a foundation.
- 1:02:08And it says the strong's definition says it's a, a
- 1:02:11deposition, IE founding figuratively, conception,
- 1:02:17conceive foundation. So foundation, I mean, I was
- 1:02:21thinking about like when the earth was made, but here's a
- 1:02:26different, a little bit different.
- 1:02:28It's like from the semen that entered.
- 1:02:33So is that the difference between going back to Genesis
- 1:02:37chapter 3 where God says I will put enmity between your
- 1:02:42offspring speaking to the serpent and Eve's the woman's
- 1:02:47offspring, that there is a difference.
- 1:02:50There's some of Satan's offspring and then there's God's
- 1:02:55humans offspring and, and those are the ones who did not have
- 1:02:59their names written into the beginning of the world.
- 1:03:05That's what just something. To look at, you can check it
- 1:03:07out. Let's see it.
- 1:03:11Yeah, Go to blueletterbible.org, check on the tools bar, and then
- 1:03:16look at word for word. And then look under Strong's
- 1:03:19definition. It'll be AG with a number behind
- 1:03:23it. The number for that definition
- 1:03:25of foundation is G26-O2. So you could also search G26-O2
- 1:03:32and get that definition. But that's.
- 1:03:34Just kind of a. Different, you know,
- 1:03:36interpretation of the foundation of the world.
- 1:03:39Is it from the? Conception from the injection or
- 1:03:43depositing of the viral semen in the womb, that's another part of
- 1:03:47the biblical usage. So very interesting that, you
- 1:03:53know, ties into the book of Genesis.
- 1:03:54And again, just trying to read all of this in context of the
- 1:03:58entire Bible, so the Book of Life.
- 1:04:03Is really interesting, like when our names written and when are
- 1:04:08they removed? It certainly says they are
- 1:04:10removed sometimes and then some are not even written into it.
- 1:04:14And I don't think that refers to predestination.
- 1:04:18I think that refers to Satan's offspring.
- 1:04:21So that's the point I was trying to make.
- 1:04:24And let's see, I think that might be all that I have to say.
- 1:04:32I think I've talked about everything else, but basically,
- 1:04:36you know, this is thanks and praise to God.
- 1:04:38He gives justice. He's our protector.
- 1:04:41And let's see, he, he's our king.
- 1:04:46We can seek refuge in him. He's our protector.
- 1:04:49We can trust in him if we seek Him, if we know his name,
- 1:04:53Yehovah or Yehovah. He hears our prayers.
- 1:04:57He's a rescuer. And the resurrection I was this
- 1:05:02is the one I was thinking of verses 13 and 14 that David
- 1:05:05said, Lord, see how I my enemies pursue me, have mercy and lift
- 1:05:10me up from the gates of death that I may declare your praises
- 1:05:14in the gates of the of daughter Zion.
- 1:05:17That's usually the future Jerusalem where Jesus reigns
- 1:05:20from and and there rejoice in your salvation.
- 1:05:25So did David maybe not didn't even know what he was saying,
- 1:05:30but he was inspired and he just put these words together like in
- 1:05:33in your salvation. Well, Jesus is our salvation.
- 1:05:37So is he really talking about the resurrection and being with
- 1:05:42Christ and then be praising his name?
- 1:05:44I mean, David was a huge praiser of worshipper of God and he was
- 1:05:49filled with music. He always like rejoice of music
- 1:05:52and dancing. And I imagine we're going to see
- 1:05:56David in God's Kingdom when Jesus reigns on this earth.
- 1:06:00In fact, I think David's probably going to be the Prince
- 1:06:03that's referred to in the Temple of Ezekiel, which is a whole
- 1:06:08nother thing, but. And then it says the wicked go
- 1:06:12down to the realm of the dead, all the nations that forget God.
- 1:06:16But God will never forget the needy.
- 1:06:18The hope of the afflicted will never.
- 1:06:20Perish so just a great I don't know.
- 1:06:25I hope this was beneficial for you.
- 1:06:28I hope that it opened your eyes like an open mind again, just
- 1:06:31studying this. I learned more today and things
- 1:06:35that I learned in the past came into play.
- 1:06:37So if you found this beneficial, share it with other people.
- 1:06:41And if you want to stay in the word, I never know what we're
- 1:06:44going to discover until that day.
- 1:06:46And but it's fun when we discover new things.
- 1:06:49So I'm sharing what I discovered with you and hopefully you come
- 1:06:53back again. I know these are really long
- 1:06:55podcasts, but there's just so much to talk about in the word
- 1:06:58of God, so hope you have a blessed day.
- 1:07:01Thank you.
