- 0:00Can I tell you about an eighty two year old man who beat an intruder
- 0:05with his cane? Amanda, with this cane geez only defense? Probably.
- 0:09Well, imagine you're eighty two, You're living in rural Florida and got it
- 0:14somebody busting the door. Now you're white. His wife had just had an
- 0:17operation, so you got that too. I mean, horrifying situation. One
- 0:21thing you should know about Ronald Lucas is he's not afraid of a fight.
- 0:26I've been like this all my life. I fight for everybody. I don't
- 0:29care who it is, you or him. Wow, he just fights for
- 0:33a big fighter. I thought he was saying that he'll fight anybody, and
- 0:36he looked at the female report. Yeah, I don't care if it's you
- 0:40him. Hey, lady, I'll grand me down. I'll beat you with
- 0:43a cane anyway. Oh and how old are you? I'm eighty two years
- 0:48old. I'll be eighty three next July. Big birthday guy. He's one
- 0:53of those guys. July. What sir goes out of his way to mention
- 0:57that this birthday's coming up in nine short months? Yeah? I bet boy.
- 1:00He really right around the corner. What do you got planned. Oh
- 1:03gosh, all right, but no, it's really a horrifying situation. I'm
- 1:07just so glad he's okay. But I mean what went down was pretty intense.
- 1:11I just got in between him and boy, that was it. That's
- 1:14when I started taking him out. I had to do it. And he
- 1:17knows how to fight that guy. He took on a Special Forces guy and
- 1:19Ben and he blow the blow. Boy, he ever tried and ever I'm
- 1:25making a move. He knew what I was going to do. For Hang
- 1:27on a second. This guy is from Vietnam. So he's describing the intruder,
- 1:33which I'm no investigation, but I was expecting like a young punk.
- 1:38No. No, the fact that so you know, you can put the
- 1:40pieces together. The guy fought in Vietnam. You know he's probably made him.
- 1:44I'm eighty years old, and was this guy was did he go for
- 1:48a low blow like he was like like with the cane. He beat him
- 1:52head to tell him and he absolutely whooped him. But to me, it
- 1:55seems like he might know the guy. The fact that he knew he was,
- 1:57you know, Special Forces, and right were they going? Cane to
- 2:00Cane had some classical fencing match with a cane. I like to think so.
- 2:07And once he got them outside, hit him so hard he fell all
- 2:10the way down down the steps and hit the rocks. That's when I came
- 2:14out from which the cane again. I kept fighting him all the way up
- 2:17to that power way up there, and folly, another guy come along.
- 2:22Should you better leave that old man alone? And I said, we was
- 2:24too late out down beating the tar. Done beat the tar out of him.
- 2:30So he imagine here like going out to the highway and he's beating this
- 2:32eighty two year olds beating another man with a cane. And somebody said,
- 2:36believe that old man alone. It's too late. It's too late. But
- 2:38then again, wow, you gotta imagine what was he scared? And in
- 2:44true to breaking your home at eighty two years old, was he scared?
- 2:46Were you scared? No, you can't be scared, sweetie. If if
- 2:51you get scared out of here, you're dead. You're dead. Wow.
- 2:55You think he's like and you camped in or harlem him. No, No,
- 3:00just outside of Fort Myers, Florida. I just see him. Well,
- 3:02he's doing this interview, grabs his cane and he points it at it
- 3:05goes you be dead. You a Ghana lady. If you get scared out
- 3:09here, you're dead, like in a minuta in the morning, big nutty
- 3:13eight point seven. I know you don't like to think about it, Amanda,
- 3:17but there are things that Nick is not telling you. As with every
- 3:23man in a relationship, I don't believe it. I wouldn't have this alright.
- 3:27I wouldn't have this article here if it wasn't seven things. Guys never
- 3:30tell the women that they love, So just be aware, okay, all
- 3:34right, all right, and I being a man kind of I'll tell you
- 3:38if they're true or not. What do you mean kind of. I don't
- 3:39claim to be the manliest man. No, that's fair. Yeah, but
- 3:43you know, scientifically sure they were overweight at one point. That's a deep,
- 3:51dark secret manner keep and I love it. I love to talk about
- 3:53the fact that, well a overweight currently as a child. You know,
- 3:58man, you've seen the photos of me a big boy? Was he n
- 4:02I scream for breakfast? Yeah? I know it's all guys. It was
- 4:04masking my emotions. But that was okay because then you got to your goal
- 4:09weight. When you were hit in the room weight room, I found wrestling.
- 4:12Yeah, they didn't really love a gift or a thing you did.
- 4:15That's what men are keeping a secret from the women they love. It's true,
- 4:18I mean, but at the same time, are you guys telling us
- 4:20if you don't like a gift. I feel like everything's kind of written on
- 4:24my face, And honestly, I have never I don't even think I've ever
- 4:27given Nick a gift. I bought him a maybe a shirt or two,
- 4:29and he's just like, no, really, oh yeah, he's very open
- 4:31about What about a thing you did. Can you think of a thing you
- 4:36did that he didn't care for? I could think of a lot of things.
- 4:40That's only up. We only got a few minutes in this segment on
- 4:43imagine the things he's not telling you he didn't care Yeah, right, no
- 4:46kidding. Another thing men never tell the women they love they had a fight
- 4:49with a friend. Nick ever shared with you when he has a fight with
- 4:53a friend every once in a while. Yeah, he has like a group
- 4:57trat with all of his boys, and sometimes they get a little dicey,
- 5:01especially when they're talking sports or politics and stuff. You can just totally tell
- 5:04me, Yeah, Nick has got a tear coming down his face arguing sports
- 5:10with his buddies. No. I can just see him angry, typing on
- 5:13his phone. I'm like, what's going on over there. They also say
- 5:15that they don't tell when they find somebody attractive. Now that's not true.
- 5:19I mean also just tell obviously when you're like, if you're at dinner with
- 5:23your with your partner and like a super beautiful person comes by, it's like,
- 5:27yeah, you don't don't need to say it, but we all know
- 5:29it, you know, yeah, and we're probably feeling the exact same way,
- 5:32right, Like that's a pretty man, or that is a very good
- 5:34looking lady. Like that. I feel like I can be open if there's
- 5:38somebody like yeah, yeah, that's an attractive person. But listen, if
- 5:42you told your your partner every time you found somebody attractive, it'd be all
- 5:45you talk about every time I come. I'm like, all right, Lauren,
- 5:47I got a list. Here we go this all these are all the
- 5:49people I found attractive today. It's really funny because my husband is not this
- 5:53guy. He was golfing on Monday and for some reason, on Monday night,
- 5:57when you got home, he's like, yeah, the golf court girl
- 5:59said I had some nice calves. I'm like she did. She say,
- 6:03you have some nice calves. Many men have fallen into the trap of thinking
- 6:08the cart girl has a crush on Yeah, Pike, I was a cart
- 6:12girl. And do you know the tips that I got for telling guys they
- 6:15had nice calves? Yeah? Does she not realize she's taking my diaper money?
- 6:19Thanks lady, I'm just kidding. They also don't say when they get
- 6:24hit on, but apparently they do, as we've just learned. I guess.
- 6:27So Nick couldn't wait to get home, could wait to get in the
- 6:30door. I'm still hot in the morning. Time for another rousing round.
- 6:36It is our favorite hypothetical situation game. Play along in your car, find
- 6:42out what you made of with a round of what do you do? I
- 6:47say it? How many times have we done this? I thought we do
- 6:49it together? No? I thought we were at Intergracy eve Ben here the
- 6:51whole time. Who says it? Who says? What do you do?
- 6:55You know? I think Pike says it? Thank you? Weird stepping on
- 6:59toes Bantu. Thank god it's Friday. Like I said earlier, it's Pike's
- 7:03name first, Jez, Well, this one's gonna hit then, So you're
- 7:08at a bar. You're just bellied up by yourself on a Monday after a
- 7:12tough day of work. I mean that girl you work with just did gin
- 7:16sounds right, Okay, she's brutal, so of course you have have a
- 7:20cocktail to calm your nerves. The guy next to you at the bar start
- 7:26chatting with you, Pike just so happens. He's basically a real life genie.
- 7:32He pulls out a pill. Well, you decide. He pulls out
- 7:38a pill, looks at you, says, I can get you back to
- 7:41your fighting white just ripped. It will happen instantly. This pill. Take
- 7:50it instantly. You will look like you did back in your DGF wrestling days.
- 7:57You are gonna look fantastic at the Red See your life. No matter
- 8:01how many Chinese buffets you go to. You could go every single day all
- 8:05you can eat and you're gonna be looking fly. But of course there's a
- 8:09little catch. You have to be single the rest of your life. So
- 8:13bike wow, mystery pill. Huh it works, though I don't know if
- 8:24it's FDA generally the pills. The guy at the bar on a Monday giving
- 8:30you arn't but I'm not familiar hear, so I don't know say the thing?
- 8:37Oh what do you do? Thank you? I feel like we're reverting
- 8:43back to when we started this game and you couldn't quite figure it out.
- 8:46What do I do? What do I accept the pill from the man?
- 8:48Who? It's he claiming to be a genie? Or do am I just
- 8:52thinking he might? Do? I mean, he looks like he's from Aladdin.
- 8:54He he looks like the Blue Genie. I guess I up. No,
- 9:00wait, wait wait he said it would be single the rest of my
- 9:01life to look like I didn't. Yes, you see a photo of me
- 9:05from wrestling in high school? Is that wasn't healthy? It's not, that's
- 9:09not that's not a rocking bod I would be aspiring to have. No,
- 9:13I don't take the pill. It has nothing to do with the fact you
- 9:16love your wife. Yeah, that's There's a lot going on here. Okay,
- 9:20it's hard to keep talking of all the details you had in your genie
- 9:24at the bar. All right, all right, so a Manda, you're
- 9:31you're late for a big job interview. This is your dream job. We're
- 9:35talking a job turning the letters on the wheel of fortune. Yes, but
- 9:41you overslept the morning of the interview. You're running late, so you start
- 9:46speeding down the road from your house. You're just outside a horace, a
- 9:52lot of construction to going on out there. When suddenly a cow emerges onto
- 9:56the roadway in front of you. You try to get out of the way,
- 10:01but unfortunately it's too late. You hit her. No, when your
- 10:07car comes to a stop, you get out of the vehicle to first check
- 10:09for any damage on your front end. Right, miraculously, none, vehicle's
- 10:13untouched. Baby go, you turn around. Not so good for Bessy.
- 10:22She's hit and she's hit bad. Oh no, now you hear her moving,
- 10:26so she's still alive, but hanging on by a threat. Remember,
- 10:31you're already running late. You don't have a second to spare, So Amanda,
- 10:39you're gonna be late. Dream job. What do you do. There's
- 10:46a lot of great people out in that community, somebody, especially that roundabout.
- 10:50Somebody's gonna stop and help Betsy. I gotta go. Vanna's out,
- 10:54Amanda is, and you're just leaving the cow. Yeah. Yeah, everybody
- 10:58hearing the ground for everybody in West Farco. I'm kidding, heynous. Everybody
- 11:05listening who usually drives to work, thinking, Oh that a man is.
- 11:07She's so nice and fun and cares about the community. Cows are part of
- 11:11the community too. I know, I'm putting food on people's tables. What
- 11:15you're abandoning it? Somebody's like I said, it's a great community out there.
- 11:18You should come out there and visit. All right, great, I've
- 11:20even never I've never even been to Horse, but I've never been to Horse.
- 11:26We went to the school once. I've been big. So you're lying.
- 11:33It's not about that. It's about the fact that you're leaving a cow
- 11:35a right half wounded, abandoned on a highway. I got another good one
- 11:39ahead, your niecean Ultima filthy. I mean, you've had that thing for
- 11:43years, so it's just filthy. You haven't have you watched it all summer?
- 11:46I haven't watched it since probably the mid twenty ten exactly. So you
- 11:50gotta take it over to the car wash. It's an automated one, I
- 11:54mean, and honestly, you can pick any car washingtown, but it's an
- 11:56automated one. You can go any time you decide you're gonna pop over.
- 12:01It's real late at night, it's dark. You get it all the way
- 12:07to the port point where there's those like whipping brushes. So the whipping brush
- 12:11is just it's kind of like the whole thing, right, No, just
- 12:13that one part where it's like right by your doors, the fun part.
- 12:16Got it? Yep? Your car gets stuck. Okay, it's stuck.
- 12:20It's dark, there's nobody around to help you. You can't open the door.
- 12:26You're trapped. Nobody there. Yeah, so pike quick, Okay,
- 12:37what do you do? Well? If you're playing along in your car,
- 12:39I hope you're as confused by as one as I am. What do I
- 12:43do? I mean, would you say I had a phone? No,
- 12:46you didn't stay about the phone? No? No, your phone isn't working
- 12:48a car wash. They can't hear you either. They can't hear so I
- 12:52can't call somebody for help. No, of course not. I guess I
- 12:56just sit in there until the morning until the boy shows up. You are
- 13:01you gonna be able to just sit through with that whipping brush and it's not
- 13:03going to affect you at all? Well, it'll affect me. I'll probably
- 13:07never be the same. But okay, what else do you do? Do
- 13:09you get out? Because now you're risking death? I see, that's what
- 13:13I was hoping you were gonna like somehow sneak out, but okay, no,
- 13:16lame. That was lame, Okay, Amanda. You're offered six point
- 13:22five million dollars to spend an entire year living in Antarctica, no phone,
- 13:28no forms of communication whatsoever, and you only get to eat raw fish and
- 13:33polar bear hot dish. Whatever that is. You'll find out when you get
- 13:37there. Anything with a little cream of mushroom is pretty good. You sleep
- 13:45on a small cutt I got a type of you sleep on a small cot
- 13:48in a heated tent. Now you're guaranteed to live, so that's a big
- 13:56party. You're not You're not going to die no matter what. But you
- 13:58gotta be either a whole year before you can return to your family, but
- 14:01you'll no longer have your job. So a man, what was it?
- 14:07Six point five mill? Correct? No family for a year, that's right,
- 14:13And you don't know what do you do? You don't know that Nick
- 14:16isn't gonna leave you. Yeah, no, I'm not gonna be able to
- 14:18do that six and a half million. Imagine the parade you would get when
- 14:22you came home finally, after a whole year in Antarctica and you're gonna say
- 14:26no to that. I'm saying no. You could be a year olier.
- 14:28You could set your kids up. You could set your kids kids up six
- 14:31point five million. Yeah. Oh that's enough to get you to the grave.
- 14:35Yeah maybe, b but my kids kids, Hey, I'd go I'd
- 14:39go for the polar bear hot dish alone in the morning. Oh no,
- 14:48Amanda stills. Let's see, let's see, Well we heard from him finally.
- 14:56It's not what we really wanted to hear. I don't know. Well,
- 15:00see, Travis Kelsey confirmed that he has at least made contact with Taylor
- 15:03Swift. Threw it out there, threw the ball in her court, and
- 15:05you know, I told her, you know, maybe i've seen you rock
- 15:07the State in Arrowhead. You might have to come see me rocket state in
- 15:11Arrowhead and see which one's a little more lit. But did he say it
- 15:15to her in person via text? Slide into the DMS. That's sounds like
- 15:18a text, that's sounding a flirty little text that she probably didn't even respond
- 15:22to. But at least it's nice to hear finally from the horse's mouth.
- 15:24It is great though, because if you listen to that full interview from Travis
- 15:28Kelsey. He is just dogging his brother Jason and Pike. You nailed it.
- 15:31I think we're all being baited by this. And he even said he
- 15:35goes my brother is just having so much fun. Oh, I love.
- 15:37It's just starting rumors because you knows everything he says is gonna become a headline.
- 15:41It's totally what I would do if it was if my brother were whatever
- 15:43day Taylor Swift, which is not easy, happily married. You know it's
- 15:46unlikely, but yeah, right, ohm sucker full Sovie Turner and Joe Joas.
- 15:52Remember they were amicable, They were just gonna be there for their kids.
- 15:54They were co parenting. Everything was gonna be just fine, even though
- 15:58they were getting a divorce so fast. Yesterday there was headlines basically saying Sophie
- 16:03Turner is suing Joe Jonas because she wants her kids back, And that was
- 16:07the headline. And I also started speculation that because I thought he said something
- 16:11about kidnapping and intern Gracie. He made a statement saying he did he did
- 16:15in fact kidnapp the kids. No no, no, no, no no
- 16:18no. He said he did not abduct his children. Well, oh,
- 16:21that's good because that would be illegal. Well, she accusing him of the
- 16:25abducting the public, the general population. She actually has the kids right now.
- 16:30That's kind of the funny part about this, because she's got him.
- 16:33I don't find any of it. Is she wants the passport, so Joe
- 16:37has the passport. She's trying to bring the kids to the UK because that's
- 16:41where they're permanent forever home is. And he filed for divorce in Florida.
- 16:47And he was smart about this because in Florida, if you filed for divorce,
- 16:48you can't take the kids out of the country. Oh so it abducted
- 16:52them in a way. Well, actually, who has the kids because she's
- 16:56been hanging with Taylor Swift and the kids weren't with her and Taylor Swift the
- 17:00other night. Well a man does a mom not get a night out with
- 17:02her friends? Trust me, MoMA can get night out. Babysitter. Perhaps
- 17:04she can. She could probably afford a babysitter for a few hours with the
- 17:08nanny doing her thing. Trust me, not judging, just asking questions.
- 17:14I felt a little judgy. It felt like it was coming from a place
- 17:15of judgments. Well you've got it or making me turn into this like maybe
- 17:18we don't like her. We don't. I don't think we do. Do
- 17:22we know? Well, we're also finding out. She said she didn't even
- 17:25know about the divorce until the media dropped the bomb a lie. Nothing likable
- 17:29about her, even our character and Game of Thrones was also terrible. So
- 17:33so how do you not know that th fighting? You've been going through this
- 17:37wherever and all of a sudden you're like, oh, I guess he was
- 17:40for real? I mean, okay, come on, all right, this
- 17:42is not going away, Lizzo. She's being sued once again for overseeing a
- 17:47hostile work environment, this time by a stylist who says she was subjected to
- 17:52racism bullying. She said that Lizzo and her supervisors were doing a lot of
- 17:56discrimination. Well, they were onto her no good. She claims that there
- 18:00was a group chat with over thirty plus people from the tour, which also
- 18:04included Lizzo, and in that group message, a backstage manager just send it
- 18:08to send a photo of his manhood, come on, open it up and
- 18:12bam was an accident. That'd be a horrifying mistake to make. The we
- 18:19had sounds from this tour in the way that they were going to these different
- 18:23parties and having fun. Real Lucy Goosey bananagate to this. I mean,
- 18:30there's just too y'all, like in Amna in the morning on Big Nutty eight
- 18:40point seven. Are we ready? Let's do it? Thank you Sam,
- 18:47Thanks for my friends. Over Gayway Chevrolet. We check in with Sam the
- 18:51voice of the NDSU buys in every week. Even though it's a bye week.
- 18:53We got to talk about last week and finally had a good game.
- 18:56Yeah, good game, guys. I mean it's always I kind of always
- 19:00root for good games. You can't say that too loud, but yeah,
- 19:03there is no juice spine good for business, right. I mean, so,
- 19:07how was the cant you feel about your radio call? Did you have
- 19:10any highlights, any any sound bites? You know? I thought we did
- 19:12a decent job. I'm kind of a nerd about this stuff, way too
- 19:17much that anybody would care to know, but I mean, you gotta love
- 19:19what you do. Yeah, everybody has like a phrase, like some people
- 19:22go like whoa baby? Or oh, like like a catchphrase. Yeah,
- 19:26yeah, Sam's catch I don't have a catchphrase. And so the reason why
- 19:32I don't bear with me here I call it snowflake theory. So every moment,
- 19:37every touch like kids nowadays or no, no, not not that type,
- 19:42totally snowflake, but every moment is like a snowflake. No two are
- 19:47like. So I think that if you do a catchphrase sometimes you could rob
- 19:51the moment of its uniqueness. Right. Facts, it's a crutch, as
- 19:56they call him, businy, just leaning on the same thing. You know
- 19:59what you're to do, right, You create new moments every time, right,
- 20:02And that's what I love about Sam Amanda. I know, No,
- 20:03it's fantastic, stunning, good looks. Yes, we're getting to know Sam.
- 20:08As as we progressed through the season, there was a couple of little
- 20:12highlights over the week and I don't know, did you see that jet that
- 20:15went missing? No? Which one there was? Which one? There was?
- 20:18Jets of the twenty jets that went missing that randomly wit missing, and
- 20:25they were asking for the public's help in it. And then there was this
- 20:27guy who after they found it said he saw it go down and it was
- 20:30just really wild, Like do you have the audio for that? Yeah?
- 20:33Well so the guy, yeah, his name is what would Yeah? So
- 20:37this was his impressed because he heard it all you know, so this is
- 20:40his impression of what the planes sounded like, what do you think of that
- 20:45sounds like? You know what that reminds me of? Like R two D
- 20:48two Star Wars? Is that what? I'm not a big stun you thought
- 20:56you would have been young twenty five years old. You're still a Star Wars.
- 20:59I love Star Wars. I'm a prequel Star Wars. Yeah, I'm
- 21:03a staunch defender of the prequels, Like that's kind of our generations. Reason
- 21:07I brought that up because I was thinking, could you incorporate that that noise
- 21:11some way shape or form It's homecoming next week in your broadcast something? I
- 21:17don't know if that's like in my vocal range, you know like that?
- 21:19I know, I mean, I know you're the snowflake theory guy, and
- 21:22I do appreciate that. But come on, now, somebody scores for the
- 21:25Bison and we hear salmon the booth going not even worri something's going down.
- 21:32I mean, come on, the bye week. You got a little free
- 21:34times, do the players and the coaches and everybody? So what do you
- 21:37do on your bye week? Are you gonna let it rip downtown? Over
- 21:40fact? Do I need to show you some of the hotspots here and Fargo.
- 21:42You know that might be in the cards. That it might be in
- 21:45the cards. You never know. I haven't had much time to get downtown
- 21:49Fargo. I did make a visit early and I stay here at Old Broadway,
- 21:52which was kind of fun. That's where you want to start. Yeah,
- 21:56that's just like a good base like sort of set your expectation. Yeah,
- 22:00you know what he needs to see. So tomorrow it's the October Fest
- 22:04pub crawl and we're gonna be at the sports Bar at three o'clock. The
- 22:07sports Bar is just one of those places you had just got to go and
- 22:11check out. And then of course rough cut at four o'clock. And that's
- 22:14the axe throwing. That's ah, I've never done, never done that.
- 22:17What's the most dangerous thing you've thrown? That is a good question. I
- 22:21don't think I've a tough question. The animal pike. You threw something at
- 22:26the Packers when the Packers lost a game? You what did you throw at
- 22:30your TV? What are you talking about? You threw something at your team.
- 22:33I've thrown a lot of things and Packer lost. I've cried. Have
- 22:34you ever cried after a football I have sixth grade. I was a Colts
- 22:38fan growing up, and when the Colts where the Super Bowl gets the Saints
- 22:41and Peyton Manning threw pick six, I immediately ran up to my room start
- 22:45crying so much ridiculous. Let's hope for a championship this year because hatef Sam
- 22:52crying. Oh yeah, that's how we're gonna call the national championship. That's
- 22:59gonna be the see, that's the kind of energy we need. All right,
- 23:02let's just real quick. We'll talk to you next week. But we
- 23:03are going to go into homecoming week. There's a lot of fun festivities going
- 23:07on. Who are we playing for homecoming? We're playing South Dakota. Okay,
- 23:10so people were saying that this is not SDS South Dakota State, it's
- 23:14the University off SD, the United States Dogs. You got it, all
- 23:18right? So yeah, well, Sam, I can't wait to talk to
- 23:21you next week. Can't wait to hear about your you know, ventures downtown.
- 23:23And get some sleep too. By the way, I know you've been
- 23:26I'll keep it post bad. Yeah, give me a little recommendation and we'll
- 23:30see you guys there Sports Bar, three o'clock tomorrow. Boom, wham band,
- 23:33thank you saying Hi, get a minute in the morning, Come on,
- 23:37get up on Big nine point seven. It's what you need to know.
- 23:42Tuesday was National voter Registration Day, and you're probably thinking, well,
- 23:45what does this have to do with Taylor Swift. Everything in the world has
- 23:48to do with Taylor swept Show. But seriously, she is making a difference.
- 23:53In her Instagram story, she encouraged fans to participate in the fall's elections,
- 23:59and she's said, I've been so lucky to see so many of you
- 24:02guys at my US shows recently. I've heard you raise your voices. I
- 24:07know how powerful they are. Make sure you're getting ready to use them for
- 24:10the election season. So as usual, they stepped up. Vote dot org
- 24:15gave her a link. They were able to track who clicked on it through
- 24:18Tabif's Instagram story. There was about thirteen thousand people every thirty minutes. Over
- 24:22thirty five thousand people in that one day alone registered to vote. Hey,
- 24:26now here's a person with a bit of influence using it for good. Yes,
- 24:30I mean, do you love to see it or no? Of course
- 24:33they do. Okay, what about what are we voting for? This November
- 24:36student council election. You know, I am all about the Fargodom election on
- 24:41December fifth, you are, yep, I'm ready to move forward and have
- 24:45more bathrooms. So that's what my eyes have been on. And then,
- 24:48of course this hot debate next week. Hopefully Governor Bergham can get to that
- 24:52three percent by Monday, Pike. That's the only knowledge I know. Britney
- 25:00spears. Her book is going to be out here in about a month.
- 25:03A lot of people are pre ordering it, and what they're gonna do a
- 25:07little bit of hype around it is the movie Crossroads. Do you remember it
- 25:10from two thousand and two? My girlfriends and I loved this movie Crossroads,
- 25:12the Popular Boys, the Men, I'm Sorry, Bone Thugs, and Harmony
- 25:15Song Meet Me Yet the Crossroads. No, not that one, the movie,
- 25:19the country music television series. So they're gonna put it in theaters the
- 25:25day before and after, so it'll be October twenty three and twenty fifth.
- 25:27I have not seen if it's going to be here in the Fargo area because
- 25:30it is at select movie theaters. But her book is going to be out.
- 25:33The woman in Me and she's she's getting a little crazy on Instagram again.
- 25:37Well, I mean you were reading me one of her recent captions,
- 25:40and it has me concerned for the book. Did she have a proof reader?
- 25:45I assume that there was a ghostwriter potential ghostwriter. Yes, But last
- 25:48night she was hanging out in her bathroom. You can hear the bathtub going
- 25:52in the in the video, okay, and she's just staring at herself in
- 25:56the mirror, just fixing her hair. Yeah, and then she's just like
- 26:00looking deep into the eyes of the camera. So what that's like the that's
- 26:04like the four millionth weirdest thing she's done this year. Why, I guess
- 26:08you're right. I just I don't know. And if you're getting excited about
- 26:12Dancing with the Stars, I mean, it is season twenty three, and
- 26:15as much as I want to bash it, it's still on TV. So
- 26:18there are people watching watching Tom bergeron still hosted. No, he's been out
- 26:22of there for like six years. Then Tyra Banks, remember, and they
- 26:26moved in I don't remember now, and then they moved it over. I
- 26:29thought you were just joking. Sorry, I apologize. So season thirty season
- 26:34thirty two, and uh, it looks like the Writers Guild of America they're
- 26:38calling for them to make their cast members just completely stop. So Matt Walls,
- 26:42who is on the HBO show Veep, He's supposed to be one of
- 26:45the dancers, and he said, nah, I'm not doing it until the
- 26:48writer's trek is over. Yesterday we stas and breaking news that maybe it's coming
- 26:52to an end. Wait he's not doing it. Yeah, he said,
- 26:53I'm not doing it. I'm stepping back. Is so they're all planning to
- 26:59but all the said in last minute he decided because the rehearsals and all that
- 27:02stuff have been going on, ADC is now going maybe we should put a
- 27:06little delay on this because it's supposed to launch in September twenty six. Because
- 27:08it's all live, so they will probably, I would assume. Wait a
- 27:12little bit. What can't they just do it with like people who aren't part
- 27:15of the guild, the actor's guild, like non actors. I think they
- 27:18struggle trying to find enough people for this show in general. Oh yeah,
- 27:22so I don't think they can just I don't know, Pike, you look
- 27:26like Derek Coff. Maybe you can get in on it. You've seen me
- 27:29dance? You do you have? You have a nice little What do they
- 27:32call the stanky leg. That's what they call it. That's kind of yours
- 27:34move, that's your signature move. How many rounds do you think I could
- 27:37get through just doing a stinky leg? Like in a minute in the morning,
- 27:41Big Nutty eight point seven Nickelback's coming to town. Say sorry, and
- 27:47we have a pair of tickets right now on the line for caller number nine.
