- 0:02Speaker 1: On Scorne Lives Australia. This is the Weirder Panalty Show.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Good evening and welcome to the Rita Panehy Show. I'm
- 0:11Speaker 2: Danikiti Giorgio. Coming up tonight. Joe Biden is diagnosed with COVID.
- 0:16Speaker 3: The Great Douglas.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Murray joins us to discuss what it means for his
- 0:19Speaker 2: already disastrous campaign. A Democratic funded poll shows Joe Biden
- 0:25Speaker 2: he is a losing ground to Donald Trump in fourteen
- 0:28Speaker 2: key states. Koshagada will unpack what is said to be
- 0:32Speaker 2: an electoral wipeout. Megan Michael reportedly furious so the King
- 0:36Speaker 2: Charles's latest product launch and is hoping to confront him
- 0:41Speaker 2: and of course left He's losing it. As the weird
- 0:44Speaker 2: Trump shooting conspiracy theories reach fever, pitch, I.
- 0:49Speaker 4: Bet Trump did this. I bet you he paid somebody
- 0:52Speaker 4: to do this.
- 0:53Speaker 1: I mean, think about it.
- 0:54Speaker 4: What a better way to garner sympathy from people that
- 0:57Speaker 4: are on the fence than having somebody shoot at you.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Joining me now is Menzi's Research Senior Center Senior Fellow
- 1:04Speaker 2: and Danube Institute visiting fellow Nick Cata. Nick, good to
- 1:08Speaker 2: see you, Thank you for joining us. Look let's start
- 1:10Speaker 2: with four to skew because it's green hydrogen fuel fantasy
- 1:14Speaker 2: is over. Up to seven hundred jobs will go. After
- 1:18Speaker 2: Andrew Forrest pulled back from the company's goal of producing
- 1:21Speaker 2: fifteen million tons of green hydrogen a year by twenty thirty,
- 1:26Speaker 2: Nick Twiggy has pulled the plug.
- 1:28Speaker 3: He could not deliver on his green dream.
- 1:31Speaker 5: What does that suggest, Well, look, he's woken up the reality, Denita,
- 1:37Speaker 5: and the reality is that to make hydrogen you need
- 1:40Speaker 5: a lot of electricity, and in his case, a lot
- 1:42Speaker 5: of green electricity, a lot of clean electricity, and he
- 1:46Speaker 5: needs it cheap. Now, they've been trying to negotiate with
- 1:48Speaker 5: companies for years now to try and get that price
- 1:52Speaker 5: of the renewable energy at the affordable price. They haven't
- 1:55Speaker 5: been able to do it. So this is really is
- 1:57Speaker 5: a double blow for the government and for Chris. I
- 2:00Speaker 5: mean Chris Bowen built this whole idea of a renewable
- 2:03Speaker 5: energy superpower on the idea that we were going to
- 2:05Speaker 5: be making lots and lots of green hydrogen. The business
- 2:08Speaker 5: case for that is clearly not there. But he's also
- 2:11Speaker 5: building on the case that renewable energy is cheap, and
- 2:15Speaker 5: this decision from Twiggy Forest shows us it is not cheap,
- 2:18Speaker 5: it is hellish expensive. And while I'm talking about Twiggy Forest,
- 2:21Speaker 5: by the way, because I know he's a listed watcher
- 2:23Speaker 5: of this program, the leader, I'm pretty certain, can he
- 2:26Speaker 5: also pull back on his plan for a wind farm
- 2:30Speaker 5: in the Upper Berdiican in the tropical forests that's going
- 2:33Speaker 5: ahead up there, because let's just save those koalas, shall we, Twiggy,
- 2:37Speaker 5: as well as save your business.
- 2:39Speaker 3: Well, look, hopefully he's watching.
- 2:41Speaker 2: You've delivered the message a loud and clear to him.
- 2:43Speaker 2: There you go, Nick Kta fingers crossed. He gets that
- 2:46Speaker 2: message loud and clear. Now look, speaking of energy, the
- 2:49Speaker 2: dim witted Agriculture Minister Murray what claims nuclear energy threatens
- 2:55Speaker 2: Australia's food production. He says there are more than eleven
- 2:59Speaker 2: thousd farms near the opposition's proposed reactor sites.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Nick I thought.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Labor was going to tone down on these scare campaigns,
- 3:08Speaker 2: but apparently not.
- 3:12Speaker 5: I'm your reporter on the spot for this one, Deneta,
- 3:15Speaker 5: because one hundred and fifty kilometers down the River Danube
- 3:18Speaker 5: that way is the Pox nuclear power station, producing two
- 3:21Speaker 5: gigawatts of power. Which is making lecturity very cheap here
- 3:24Speaker 5: in Hungary. And the water that filters it comes into
- 3:26Speaker 5: this river right, the water that cools the Pox power
- 3:30Speaker 5: station is just meters away from me. I can see
- 3:33Speaker 5: no green eyed fish. I can fact there's a fisherman
- 3:36Speaker 5: down there. I don't think he's called anything. By the way,
- 3:38Speaker 5: you know, this whole thing is a fantasy. I stood
- 3:41Speaker 5: last week within fifteen meters of a nuclear reactor and
- 3:45Speaker 5: on the way out of the building, I was tested,
- 3:47Speaker 5: as they test everybody, and they told me that I
- 3:50Speaker 5: would have had a higher radiation level if I'd taken
- 3:52Speaker 5: a seven hour flight from Sydney to Indonesia. You know,
- 3:56Speaker 5: so it's ridiculous.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Now, before we let you go, Nick, European leaders and
- 3:59Speaker 2: dips are reportedly in shock at the selection of JD.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Vance as Donald Trump's running mate. You're in Hungary at
- 4:06Speaker 2: the moment, standing in front of a beautiful background there.
- 4:08Speaker 2: But what's been the reaction to his appointment and will
- 4:11Speaker 2: he be good for Europe?
- 4:15Speaker 5: Well, he will be good for Europe, but amongst the
- 4:17Speaker 5: European bureaucratic elite, there has been absolute panic because you know,
- 4:23Speaker 5: he's not their kind of man like Donald Trump. He
- 4:26Speaker 5: believes in nationalism for a start, and the whole European
- 4:28Speaker 5: project is built on doing away with borders. So he's
- 4:33Speaker 5: really challenging their position, and he's doing it because he's
- 4:36Speaker 5: doing it from an intelligent place as well, and that
- 4:39Speaker 5: throws them out. But the really scary thing for them
- 4:42Speaker 5: is that Vans, who has served in the US military,
- 4:46Speaker 5: is saying to Europe, as Trump has been doing, You've
- 4:49Speaker 5: got to pay for your own defense. You cannot rely
- 4:51Speaker 5: on the United States all the time. Of course, the
- 4:55Speaker 5: United States will be there in an emergency, but you
- 4:57Speaker 5: cannot rely on us. You've got to start digging, dipping
- 5:00Speaker 5: your hands in your pocket and shelling out some more
- 5:02Speaker 5: euros for your own army and your own defense force.
- 5:05Speaker 5: And that is what's really chilling the Europeans, because at
- 5:09Speaker 5: the end of the day, they'd rather have something than nothing.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not surprised by that at all.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Nick Cator, great to speak with you as always, Thanks
- 5:16Speaker 2: for joining us joining me now. Is author of international
- 5:20Speaker 2: best sellers, including the Strange Death of Europe, The Madness
- 5:23Speaker 2: of Crowds, and to his latest book, The War on
- 5:26Speaker 2: the West. Douglas Murray Douglas thank you so much for
- 5:30Speaker 2: joining us as always. Now, you wrote that the attack
- 5:33Speaker 2: on Donald Trump is reminiscent of the shootings of Ronald
- 5:36Speaker 2: Reagan and Teddy Roosevelt. What did you take away from
- 5:39Speaker 2: what occurred in Pennsylvania at the weekend.
- 5:43Speaker 6: Well, like most people, what'sed with horror in real time
- 5:49Speaker 6: as it was happening, and it was reminded again, as
- 5:52Speaker 6: all of us have been, of that terrible way in
- 5:55Speaker 6: which history can turn on a few millimeters, as in
- 5:59Speaker 6: this case, as in attempts to assassinate previous presidents of
- 6:03Speaker 6: the United States. I still think that in some ways,
- 6:06Speaker 6: because everyone's moving on to the political significance of this,
- 6:10Speaker 6: there's still been quite enough of a registering of how
- 6:13Speaker 6: close America came to a situation that is almost unthinkable.
- 6:19Speaker 6: Had the assassin's bullet been very slightly to one side,
- 6:25Speaker 6: not only would we have an assassination of a former
- 6:28Speaker 6: president and a running a candidate on live television, but
- 6:34Speaker 6: the Republican Party, the Democrats, America as a whole, and
- 6:38Speaker 6: therefore the world could easily have fallen into an absolute
- 6:42Speaker 6: pit of recrimination, retribution, and much more.
- 6:46Speaker 1: You know, history really does turn on such moments.
- 6:49Speaker 6: And you know, thank goodness, on this occasion, things are
- 6:54Speaker 6: going in a better direction than they might have done.
- 6:56Speaker 3: Yay, he certainly was extremely, extremely lucky.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Now, Douglas, let's talk about the catastrophic failures of the
- 7:04Speaker 2: Sacred Service that led to Trump being shot. It's now
- 7:07Speaker 2: being revealed the agency knew of the threat one hour
- 7:10Speaker 2: before the rally, yet still allowed Trump to tape the stage.
- 7:14Speaker 7: He is more, and according to Senator John Barasso just
- 7:18Speaker 7: spoke to him as soon as he hung up on
- 7:20Speaker 7: this briefing, he said that apparently the Secret Service had
- 7:23Speaker 7: identified as a character of suspicion this man the shooter
- 7:29Speaker 7: because they saw a rangefinder on him as well as
- 7:32Speaker 7: a backpack.
- 7:33Speaker 3: And this all.
- 7:34Speaker 7: Happened more than an hour before the shooting actually occurred.
- 7:38Speaker 7: So they saw the guy and they identified this guy
- 7:41Speaker 7: as suspicious. Now more details coming from a source familiar
- 7:45Speaker 7: here who was also in the meeting, tells me that
- 7:49Speaker 7: about ten minutes before former President Trump went on to
- 7:53Speaker 7: the stage, they had gone from looking at this guy
- 7:56Speaker 7: as suspicious to now looking at him as a threat.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Douglas, how bad is this? The Secret Service knew there
- 8:03Speaker 2: was a threat to yet.
- 8:04Speaker 3: Trump was still allowed to go on stage.
- 8:08Speaker 6: Oh, I think there are huge questions to answer, and
- 8:10Speaker 6: the Secret Service and its leadership has to answer them.
- 8:14Speaker 6: I mean, you know, everything like this will be analyzed
- 8:17Speaker 6: probably for years to come. You know, who knew what,
- 8:19Speaker 6: when and so on, and almost immediately, you know, you
- 8:22Speaker 6: get feverish conspiracy theories from all sides about it, and
- 8:26Speaker 6: those have to be dampened down.
- 8:28Speaker 1: By being answered.
- 8:30Speaker 6: You know, I think people should should know what exactly
- 8:33Speaker 6: went wrong here, how it went so wrong. I mean,
- 8:36Speaker 6: it's easy to be, you know, literally an armchair pundit
- 8:39Speaker 6: on this occasion, a pining on what they should have
- 8:41Speaker 6: done better, And it's always very easy in hindsight. However,
- 8:45Speaker 6: obviously this is a catastrophic failure by the Secret Service.
- 8:50Speaker 1: This gunman.
- 8:51Speaker 6: As the days have gone on, it's become clearer and
- 8:53Speaker 6: clearer that he was spotted by members of the crowd.
- 8:57Speaker 6: Now we know that he was the Secret Service made
- 9:00Speaker 6: aware that he was a threat. Now we know that
- 9:01Speaker 6: the policeman got onto the roof and saw him and
- 9:05Speaker 6: was pointed down by the guvernment. Now we know that
- 9:07Speaker 6: the head of the Secret Service, the Director of the
- 9:09Speaker 6: Secret Service, says that one reason why snipers weren't put
- 9:12Speaker 6: on that roof was because it was a slopeye roof
- 9:15Speaker 6: and therefore presented a health danger, which is bewildering to
- 9:21Speaker 6: many of us. I'm sure she has a good explanation
- 9:23Speaker 6: for why it would have been so dangerous to have
- 9:26Speaker 6: had another sniper on another slopeye roof, and that that's
- 9:29Speaker 6: more important to protect the health and safety than the
- 9:32Speaker 6: possibility of having a former presence had blown off on
- 9:35Speaker 6: live television. I'm sure she'll answer that, but so far
- 9:38Speaker 6: she's done rather badly in that regard. The Secret Service
- 9:42Speaker 6: needs to have the trust not just of the people
- 9:44Speaker 6: it protects, but of the American people, and it's going
- 9:47Speaker 6: to have to do an awful lot in the days
- 9:49Speaker 6: and weeks ahead to regain that trust.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Your spot on, you're ferring there to the head of
- 9:54Speaker 2: the Sacred Service, Kimberly Cheat or she's actually doctor Jill
- 9:57Speaker 2: Biden's top pick.
- 9:58Speaker 3: For the role, So say no more. She's really gaslighting
- 10:02Speaker 3: America over what happened.
- 10:03Speaker 2: As you said yesterday, she was blaming a sloped roof
- 10:06Speaker 2: for the oversight, and now she's got another excuse here.
- 10:09Speaker 8: It is was every element, every part of his from
- 10:14Speaker 8: the intelligence to the counter assault team, to the detail
- 10:17Speaker 8: agents of the shift agents. I mean every element top
- 10:19Speaker 8: to bottom of the advance in the operation. Was every
- 10:22Speaker 8: element increased after.
- 10:23Speaker 3: You learned of this credible threat.
- 10:25Speaker 9: What we increased was what we felt was appropriate for
- 10:29Speaker 9: the former president and for that particular event on that day.
- 10:32Speaker 3: We have been.
- 10:32Speaker 9: Increasing the assets and the resources and the staffing that
- 10:36Speaker 9: we have been providing to the former president since he
- 10:39Speaker 9: was a presidential candidate and then the presumptive nominated.
- 10:42Speaker 3: That's what I can tell you.
- 10:43Speaker 2: That sounds like a no, Douglas, How does this woman
- 10:46Speaker 2: still have a job?
- 10:48Speaker 6: You know, people like her an absolute liability because.
- 10:53Speaker 1: When when the public see, you know, DEI hires.
- 10:57Speaker 6: First of all, some people do get into a because
- 11:00Speaker 6: they're simply competent. That still does happen, men and women
- 11:03Speaker 6: and all sorts of others. But when people see DEI hires,
- 11:07Speaker 6: you know, there's a sort of feeling like, well, you know, okay,
- 11:10Speaker 6: Jill Biden might be able to put forward a favored candidate.
- 11:13Speaker 6: By the way, I don't particularly think she should for
- 11:16Speaker 6: a school district.
- 11:18Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 11:19Speaker 6: Discussion of LGBTQ, whatever stupid, relatively unimportant thing you can
- 11:27Speaker 6: think of in the in the woke mind virus. But
- 11:30Speaker 6: there are some things that Dee I really shouldn't interfere in,
- 11:35Speaker 6: and one of them I would have thought is the
- 11:38Speaker 6: operation of the Secret Service. One of them is anything
- 11:42Speaker 6: that absolutely pertains immediately to life and death matters.
- 11:46Speaker 1: You know, you just want the best.
- 11:48Speaker 6: I feel sorry for some of the female agents who
- 11:51Speaker 6: have been who were captured on video last Saturday, because
- 11:55Speaker 6: a lot of people again on the Internet, having you know,
- 11:57Speaker 6: a certain amount of fun with them, albeit in rather
- 11:59Speaker 6: dark circumstances. But I think there are basic things like,
- 12:02Speaker 6: you know, if you're assigned to protect the president, shouldn't
- 12:07Speaker 6: you be at least as tall as the president? If
- 12:09Speaker 6: you're going to shove your body in front of him,
- 12:11Speaker 6: shouldn't you be able to cover his torso and head?
- 12:15Speaker 6: Don't you just want like very strong, beefy guys to
- 12:19Speaker 6: do this? Is diversity very important in such a situation,
- 12:25Speaker 6: I would say absolutely not. It's no more important to
- 12:28Speaker 6: have diversity in the Secret Service than it is to
- 12:30Speaker 6: have it in the NBA. We recognize that we don't
- 12:35Speaker 6: need diversity in the NBA. We don't need diversity, and
- 12:40Speaker 6: all of these sorts of DEI higher nonsense that the
- 12:43Speaker 6: head of the Secret Service is demonstrating and talking to
- 12:46Speaker 6: We don't need that in life and death matters around
- 12:49Speaker 6: which the fates of whole nations rotate. We just need
- 12:52Speaker 6: the best, whoever they are. And I wish that America
- 12:56Speaker 6: got off this particular bandwagon and got off. If that
- 13:02Speaker 6: is too late in the day, you know, it's just
- 13:05Speaker 6: too late to be playing that horrible, stupid game.
- 13:11Speaker 3: Yeah it is, well, it is way too late, absolutely.
- 13:14Speaker 2: And I noticed that Kimberly Cheatle has been issued with
- 13:16Speaker 2: a subpoena to Peer to appear before the Oversight Committee,
- 13:20Speaker 2: So perhaps we might finally get some answers. But look,
- 13:23Speaker 2: just on the diversity picks of the Secret Service, there
- 13:27Speaker 2: was an ad that it put out actually bragging about
- 13:31Speaker 2: its diversity picks.
- 13:33Speaker 3: Have a look, they're aiming to have thirty percent women
- 13:36Speaker 3: recruits by twenty thirty.
- 13:38Speaker 9: I'm very conscious as I sit in this chair now
- 13:42Speaker 9: of making sure that we need to attract diverse candidates
- 13:46Speaker 9: and ensure that we are developing and giving opportunities to
- 13:49Speaker 9: everybody in our workforce, and particularly women.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Douglas, I know you mentioned you know you feel sorry
- 13:55Speaker 2: for some of the agents. One of them fumbled around
- 13:58Speaker 2: trying to find her whole. She also ducked behind Donald
- 14:01Speaker 2: Trump an otherwise too preoccupied with her sunglasses on the day.
- 14:05Speaker 2: I mean, it was absolutely shambolic. They were running around.
- 14:08Speaker 3: Like headless chalks. But you're right, Donald.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Trump is six foot three, two hundred and thirty nine pounds.
- 14:15Speaker 2: I mean, what role did the diversity policy play in
- 14:18Speaker 2: the weekends incident?
- 14:21Speaker 1: You know, the whole diversity thing.
- 14:23Speaker 6: I just as I hope we all get through this fast,
- 14:27Speaker 6: because there are there are.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Some fields in which you can argue that diversity matters.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Things about ideas.
- 14:34Speaker 6: For instance, it's wise to have a wide diversity of ideas,
- 14:38Speaker 6: pick among them and work out what's through and then
- 14:40Speaker 6: act on it. Fine, absolutely, does it apply everywhere? No,
- 14:46Speaker 6: Why does she want thirty percent women?
- 14:50Speaker 1: Why is it?
- 14:53Speaker 6: If there's something magically brilliant or better that women can bring,
- 14:56Speaker 6: then work out what it is and work out who
- 14:58Speaker 6: can bring it. But that isn't what she's doing. That
- 15:02Speaker 6: isn't what these deidults are doing. They are playing this
- 15:07Speaker 6: infantile game which works possibly in small sectors of very
- 15:14Speaker 6: precise learning, It does not work across the whole world,
- 15:19Speaker 6: or across the whole of government, or across the whole
- 15:22Speaker 6: of the United States. Clearly not you don't need thirty
- 15:26Speaker 6: percent women. You just need one hundred percent the best,
- 15:30Speaker 6: that's all. And if that means that in some jobs
- 15:33Speaker 6: it's mainly men, that's fine, and if in others it's
- 15:36Speaker 6: mainly women, that's fine. Just the best, nothing else. And
- 15:41Speaker 6: it just sickens me to see these things, that the smugness,
- 15:46Speaker 6: the stupid lack of questioning of the premises of this.
- 15:50Speaker 6: What does it matter what the dei quota is if
- 15:54Speaker 6: you almost had a former president assassinated on live television
- 15:59Speaker 6: in front of millions, and you know, as I say,
- 16:02Speaker 6: it's just deeply shocking to me, and that in such
- 16:08Speaker 6: an important field this should be going on. People like
- 16:10Speaker 6: me have been pointing this out for years. I always
- 16:13Speaker 6: used to say, you know, there'll be a time when
- 16:15Speaker 6: the bridges start falling down and they'll realize you just
- 16:18Speaker 6: have to get experts. But it's always worse, even than
- 16:21Speaker 6: I predict. It was not the bridges that almost fell
- 16:25Speaker 6: down on Saturday night, but a former president running for
- 16:28Speaker 6: the presidency that would have been catastrophic for America and
- 16:32Speaker 6: as I say, anyone who played these stupid, infantile games
- 16:37Speaker 6: on these matters of life and death, and.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Not just the matters of life.
- 16:40Speaker 6: And death of one man, but of the Republic really
- 16:44Speaker 6: should be nowhere near power. They should be as far
- 16:47Speaker 6: away and as unemployed as it's possible for anyone to be.
- 16:51Speaker 1: They're a danger.
- 16:53Speaker 3: Yeah, they are a huge, huge danger.
- 16:56Speaker 2: And Douglas is half the problem that Joe Biden doesn't
- 16:59Speaker 2: even know who was in charge of the department.
- 17:01Speaker 3: This is what he said.
- 17:03Speaker 10: Is it acceptable that you have still not heard at
- 17:05Speaker 10: least publicly from the Secret Service directing, Well, I've heard, John,
- 17:10Speaker 10: Have you heard from her publicly?
- 17:14Speaker 11: Sat down in a situation room downstairs?
- 17:17Speaker 3: Secret Service, the FBI and that security agencies, the Homeland Security,
- 17:21Speaker 3: all the major elements.
- 17:23Speaker 2: Douglas, he thinks it's a man in charge, and we
- 17:25Speaker 2: know it's actually a woman. How bizarre is it that
- 17:27Speaker 2: the President of the United States has no clue who
- 17:30Speaker 2: is the head of one of America's most important agencies.
- 17:34Speaker 6: Well, as you say, I mean, perhaps Joe should have
- 17:37Speaker 6: asked Jill, because the head of Secret Service seems to
- 17:39Speaker 6: have been Jill's pick. No, I mean, it's just it's
- 17:43Speaker 6: just goes from bad to worse with Joe Biden. We
- 17:48Speaker 6: see the you know, no day is he is he better?
- 17:53Speaker 1: You know?
- 17:53Speaker 6: And no week will he be better than the week before,
- 17:56Speaker 6: No month will he be better than the month before.
- 17:58Speaker 6: That's the reality of aging and of whatever condition it
- 18:02Speaker 6: is that Joe Biden has. And it's just bewildering to
- 18:10Speaker 6: me that so many Democrats and so many people in
- 18:13Speaker 6: the Democrat media have to keep on pumping him up
- 18:16Speaker 6: as a candidate. And it's just manifestly obvious that he's
- 18:20Speaker 6: in no fit state to run in this electoral cycle,
- 18:23Speaker 6: let alone to run proposition in which he's meant to
- 18:26Speaker 6: be president still in four years. It's a deep insult
- 18:29Speaker 6: to the American voting public and to Democrat voters who
- 18:32Speaker 6: deserve better.
- 18:34Speaker 2: Absolutely Now, UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy said quote Trump
- 18:39Speaker 2: is not only a neo Nazi sympathizing sociopath, he is
- 18:43Speaker 2: also a profound threat to the international order, Douglas David
- 18:49Speaker 2: Lammy is not the sharpest tool in the shared He
- 18:51Speaker 2: once claimed that men can grow a cervix.
- 18:53Speaker 3: But how problem is this sort of rhetoric?
- 18:59Speaker 6: Well, you know, David Lami's also as I mentioned my
- 19:01Speaker 6: Spectator column this week, somebody who when asked in the
- 19:03Speaker 6: general Knowledge quiz, who which king succeeded Henry the eighth,
- 19:08Speaker 6: replied Henry the seventh.
- 19:10Speaker 1: David Lammy is possibly the only.
- 19:12Speaker 6: Person on earth who could actually benefit from listening to
- 19:14Speaker 6: Kamala Harris talking about the nature of time and the
- 19:17Speaker 6: direction in which it travels. But yes, I mean, I
- 19:22Speaker 6: think this is an extraordinary demonstration of you know, he's
- 19:27Speaker 6: obviously ignorant on a wide range of issues, but he
- 19:32Speaker 6: also showed in recent years that he doesn't only lack knowledge,
- 19:35Speaker 6: he lacks wisdom and judgment. Because anyone wise and judicious
- 19:41Speaker 6: would not, in any circumstances be sending out stupid, abusive
- 19:47Speaker 6: tweets about the president, the leader of Britain's most important ally,
- 19:52Speaker 6: the closest ally of the United States, would not send
- 19:55Speaker 6: out abusive tweets making completely ridiculous and absurd and insulting
- 20:00Speaker 6: claims about him if he was a man of judgment
- 20:04Speaker 6: and wisdom.
- 20:05Speaker 1: But Lammy isn't so.
- 20:07Speaker 6: Here he is completely predictably in a situation in which he,
- 20:11Speaker 6: as a member of the British Cabinet and Foreign Secretary
- 20:14Speaker 6: at that will odds on likely have to face at
- 20:19Speaker 6: some point Trump and the Trump administration back. And how's
- 20:23Speaker 6: he going to manage that? It's a problem of his
- 20:25Speaker 6: own making.
- 20:26Speaker 3: Yeah, very very clear.
- 20:28Speaker 2: Now, look, Joe Biden has tested positive to COVID hours
- 20:32Speaker 2: before he was due to give a speech in Nevada.
- 20:34Speaker 3: Here's how it was announced.
- 20:37Speaker 12: The president has been at many events, as we all know,
- 20:42Speaker 12: and he just tested positive for COVID. So of course
- 20:49Speaker 12: we understand that he needs to take the precautions.
- 20:55Speaker 2: And here he was only last month saying a medical
- 20:57Speaker 2: condition would be the only reason he would with draw
- 21:00Speaker 2: from the race.
- 21:02Speaker 13: Is there anything that you would look to you personally,
- 21:05Speaker 13: not anybody else, not other pundits, not even perhaps family
- 21:09Speaker 13: members that you would look to to say, if I
- 21:12Speaker 13: see that I will reevaluate.
- 21:16Speaker 14: Some medical condition and emerged, if somebody, if the doctors
- 21:19Speaker 14: came to me and said you got this.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Problem, that problem, Douglas, there you go. He said, it
- 21:23Speaker 2: would take a medical condition. Well, now he's got COVID.
- 21:26Speaker 2: How much has this set him back? He's meant to
- 21:28Speaker 2: be out there trying to prove he's not mentally incompetent,
- 21:31Speaker 2: and now he's fallen ill.
- 21:34Speaker 6: I'm not a doctor, but I can tell Joe Biden
- 21:37Speaker 6: you have got this problem and that problem you have
- 21:41Speaker 6: and getting a COVID test.
- 21:43Speaker 1: I mean, I mean, who does that anymore? Who tests
- 21:45Speaker 1: positive for COVID.
- 21:47Speaker 6: It's yeah, anyway, it's not a good look at Jem Pasaki,
- 21:53Speaker 6: his former White House Press spokesperson, who is now of course,
- 21:58Speaker 6: on one of the left wing networks in America as
- 22:00Speaker 6: a presenter, totally impartial presenter of course, by the way,
- 22:05Speaker 6: just said that that Biden getting this COVID, you know,
- 22:12Speaker 6: diagnosis and recovering from it, coming back from it.
- 22:16Speaker 1: It could be as important.
- 22:19Speaker 6: As Trump surviving the assassination attempt last Saturday and pumping
- 22:22Speaker 6: his fists in the air to his supporters. I think,
- 22:26Speaker 6: not for the first time. Psaki and the Democrat media,
- 22:30Speaker 6: the loyalist lapdog media, the Democrat Party are kidding themselves,
- 22:33Speaker 6: but are not kidding anyone else.
- 22:36Speaker 2: No, and I have a look at this vision of
- 22:37Speaker 2: Joe Biden struggling to walk up the stairs of Air
- 22:41Speaker 2: Force one just after testing positive for COVID.
- 22:44Speaker 3: Douglas, you can.
- 22:45Speaker 2: See there he's having to pause. It's almost like he's
- 22:48Speaker 2: in slow motion. But that's not in slow motion. We
- 22:51Speaker 2: know his enemy is stairs, but you know, this just
- 22:54Speaker 2: paints such a picture of where he's out, doesn't it.
- 22:59Speaker 1: It's just not sustainable. I mean, it's just not sustainable.
- 23:02Speaker 6: You know, a lot of the importance of the office
- 23:06Speaker 6: of president is the projection of strength. And you know,
- 23:09Speaker 6: Joe Biden is not his fault. He's getting old, it's
- 23:12Speaker 6: not his fault. He has whatever he has, it is
- 23:15Speaker 6: his fault and Jill Biden's fault and Hunter Biden's fault
- 23:18Speaker 6: that he's remaining in the race, and it is their fault.
- 23:21Speaker 6: And I think it is a deep, deep dishonour to
- 23:25Speaker 6: the American public. The public are not stupid in America,
- 23:30Speaker 6: just like anywhere else, just like Australia, Britain, the public
- 23:32Speaker 6: are not stupid. They can see this with their own eyes.
- 23:36Speaker 6: And it's high time Biden stepped aside. As I understand
- 23:41Speaker 6: that Chuck Schumer and others have started to say in private,
- 23:45Speaker 6: some have started to said in public, is time that
- 23:47Speaker 6: it happens. Of course, one reason, just finally why there's
- 23:53Speaker 6: going to be an additional problem for the Democrats is that,
- 23:56Speaker 6: particularly after the events of the last week, Trump is
- 23:58Speaker 6: doing so well in the pole that a fresh candidate
- 24:02Speaker 6: if they swap Biden out, is likely to fail as well,
- 24:07Speaker 6: and therefore they are unlikely to want that job. Well,
- 24:12Speaker 6: that's a problem for the Democrats, but again it's a
- 24:14Speaker 6: problem of their own making.
- 24:17Speaker 2: Absolutely, they've left it this long and not long to
- 24:19Speaker 2: go to November. Now, before we let you go, Democratic
- 24:23Speaker 2: California Governor Gavin Newsom has signed a first in the
- 24:27Speaker 2: nation law that banns school districts from requiring staff to
- 24:30Speaker 2: disclose a student's gender identity or sexual orientation to any
- 24:35Speaker 2: other person without that child's permission.
- 24:38Speaker 3: Douglas, how dangerous is this?
- 24:41Speaker 6: Well, Gavin Newsom is one of the people who may
- 24:43Speaker 6: like to run for the presidency at some point in
- 24:46Speaker 6: this cycle or a future one. Certainly certain he thinks
- 24:49Speaker 6: he's got the ability in him. Gavin Newsom is a
- 24:54Speaker 6: great example of how far you can come.
- 24:56Speaker 1: If you just sort of present nicely on television. He's
- 25:00Speaker 1: a menace. He was a minister.
- 25:02Speaker 6: As mayor of California, he's a MENACE's governor, sorry, as
- 25:05Speaker 6: mayor of San Francisco, he's a menaces governor of California.
- 25:08Speaker 6: And this is just an example of it. The idea
- 25:11Speaker 6: that children can be indoctrinated into the gender woo woo
- 25:15Speaker 6: cult and that their parents and others shouldn't know is
- 25:19Speaker 6: an appalling breach of trust.
- 25:21Speaker 1: The children belong.
- 25:22Speaker 6: First and foremost of their families, and they don't belong
- 25:26Speaker 6: to Gavin use them. They don't belong to whatever bizarre
- 25:28Speaker 6: woo woo gender cult Gavin's backed this year. No, and
- 25:33Speaker 6: I hope that voters in California for once actually react
- 25:38Speaker 6: sensibly to the insane policies that Newsom wants to impose
- 25:42Speaker 6: on their children.
- 25:43Speaker 2: Absolutely, and once again parents are left in the dark.
- 25:47Speaker 2: Douglas Murray, great to speak with you, Thank you so
- 25:49Speaker 2: much for joining us.
- 25:51Speaker 1: Great pleasure. Thank you still to come.
- 25:54Speaker 2: Lefties Losing It featuring the LEFTI luny cult.
- 25:57Speaker 3: That is MSNBC.
- 26:07Speaker 2: Now it's time for Lefty the Losing It and the
- 26:10Speaker 2: TV Lefty looney cult is back, Ladies and gentlemen. Yes,
- 26:14Speaker 2: the cult of MSNBC, and of course their chief loon,
- 26:19Speaker 2: Joy Reid, who has compared Joe Biden being diagnosed with
- 26:23Speaker 2: COVID to wait for it, Trump surviving an assassination attempt.
- 26:29Speaker 15: Donald Trump is an elderly man who, for whatever reason
- 26:33Speaker 15: was given nine seconds to take a iconic photo op
- 26:36Speaker 15: during an active shooter situation. Weird situation.
- 26:39Speaker 3: We'll figure that out one day.
- 26:41Speaker 15: But his survival of that and bouncing right back and
- 26:45Speaker 15: going right to his convention is being conveyed in the
- 26:48Speaker 15: media world as a sin of string. This current president
- 26:52Speaker 15: of the United States is eighty one years old and
- 26:55Speaker 15: has COVID. Should he be fine in a couple of days?
- 26:59Speaker 15: Doesn't that may exactly the same thing that he's strong
- 27:02Speaker 15: enough older than Trump to have gotten something that used
- 27:05Speaker 15: to really be fatal to people his age. So if
- 27:09Speaker 15: he does find out of it and comes back and
- 27:11Speaker 15: is able to do rallies, isn't that exactly the same?
- 27:15Speaker 3: Yes, you really did hear that?
- 27:18Speaker 12: Right?
- 27:18Speaker 2: A cold, of course is absolutely the same as getting shot.
- 27:24Speaker 2: And that was the moment Joy Read sunk so low
- 27:29Speaker 2: into the realms of insanity. Now to our friends over
- 27:33Speaker 2: at the view specifically, will Pee Goldberg or Puppy Goldberg
- 27:38Speaker 2: as she's now.
- 27:39Speaker 16: Known, I have poopie days all the time?
- 27:43Speaker 2: Okay, Well, she is back in the habit of Trump alarmism.
- 27:49Speaker 16: It's up to each and every person in this audience
- 27:53Speaker 16: to make sure you get out there and vault, and
- 27:57Speaker 16: that you can't lay by the wayside to let somebody
- 28:00Speaker 16: else do it then, because this requires you recognizing that
- 28:06Speaker 16: we're all in danger here.
- 28:08Speaker 3: Danger. Oh, she's so stressed.
- 28:12Speaker 2: Trump has really broken old whoopee, hasn't he? Speaking of
- 28:17Speaker 2: broken this left he thinks Trump paid to be shot.
- 28:21Speaker 4: I'm going to say it first before any of my
- 28:23Speaker 4: other friends say it. I bet Trump did this. I
- 28:26Speaker 4: bet you he paid somebody to do this. I mean,
- 28:29Speaker 4: think about it. What a better way to garner sympathy
- 28:31Speaker 4: from people that are on the fence than having somebody
- 28:34Speaker 4: shoot at you and he probably hit his ear by
- 28:36Speaker 4: accident end up telling on himself on truth social.
- 28:40Speaker 2: So yeah, aha, gotcha, Yes, shoot me. Make sure though
- 28:44Speaker 2: you only just just clicked.
- 28:45Speaker 3: My ear just a little bit, shouldn't be too hard.
- 28:49Speaker 3: Just a quick shot up there.
- 28:50Speaker 2: And this is the moment his soul leaves his body
- 28:53Speaker 2: as he details how Trump got blood on his face.
- 28:57Speaker 4: Honestly, my best guess was that it was ketchup from
- 29:00Speaker 4: the McDonald's package that he probably had stuffed underneath the podium.
- 29:05Speaker 4: He was down there and just figured he'd take a
- 29:06Speaker 4: quick bite of his big mac.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Look.
- 29:09Speaker 2: I think you need a doctor to help cure your
- 29:12Speaker 2: case of acute and chronic Trump derangement syndrome.
- 29:15Speaker 3: Please please get some help.
- 29:18Speaker 2: Now to a good friend of the Rita panehy Show,
- 29:21Speaker 2: Alex Stein, who put himself on the line got kicked
- 29:24Speaker 2: out of the Republican Convention, but for a worthy cause
- 29:28Speaker 2: to rile up lefty chenk Hyuga.
- 29:31Speaker 10: I think that was no government.
- 29:33Speaker 3: No, I'm not, I don't know, hey, get out of here, man.
- 29:36Speaker 9: What the hell Jesus Christ with these lunatic republicans?
- 29:39Speaker 11: Order lunatic republicans?
- 29:41Speaker 10: Yeah, go ahead, tell me your lunatic conspiracy theory about how.
- 29:44Speaker 1: I don't have any I don't have any conspiracy thees.
- 29:47Speaker 2: I guess that was indeed, chank Live on Piers Morgan,
- 29:50Speaker 2: here's another wrangle for.
- 29:51Speaker 14: You government, thank his transgender.
- 29:56Speaker 1: Go No, I'm not, I don't know, hey, get out
- 29:59Speaker 1: of here, man.
- 30:00Speaker 10: What the hell Jesus Christ with these lunatic Republicans.
- 30:03Speaker 2: Oh, it's always so funny when the lefties get angry
- 30:06Speaker 2: and snap, But Alex certainly knows how.
- 30:09Speaker 3: To make them lose their minds.
- 30:11Speaker 2: Now to Karen, who refuses to have a second baby
- 30:14Speaker 2: if Trump is reelected.
- 30:16Speaker 17: If Trump is successful in this next presidential election, I
- 30:19Speaker 17: will not be having another baby. I'm currently a mother
- 30:22Speaker 17: and desperately want to have another baby. However, since Republicans
- 30:25Speaker 17: have politicized my uterus and reproductive healthcare, overturned Roby Weed,
- 30:31Speaker 17: and made women's health and bodies part of their political
- 30:35Speaker 17: agenda to be controlled, and do not think it is safe,
- 30:39Speaker 17: even in California, even in blue states, to have a
- 30:42Speaker 17: pregnancy in a Republican controlled country.
- 30:45Speaker 2: Well look, I mean the less lefty liberals certainly not
- 30:48Speaker 2: a bad thing. Now to a brand spanking new gender
- 30:52Speaker 2: pronoun move over, they them and please welcome to the
- 30:56Speaker 2: team gender florret.
- 30:58Speaker 18: See everyone, my name is funny. I use fue pronouns. So,
- 31:01Speaker 18: continuing on the video talking about the gender fay identities,
- 31:07Speaker 18: there's one called gender florette. So gender florette and gender
- 31:11Speaker 18: fay are pretty similar. Where gender fae is a gender
- 31:15Speaker 18: fluid between a gender identities and female, gender floret is
- 31:23Speaker 18: gender fluid amongst different a gender neutroit identities with some
- 31:29Speaker 18: feelings of femininity that can come in every now and then,
- 31:34Speaker 18: but never fully identifying as female. That's what I've got
- 31:40Speaker 18: for gender floor thank you everyone.
- 31:43Speaker 2: Gender florette so cute, sounds quite feminine, like a flortte flower.
- 31:48Speaker 2: I'll give it a will myself, Danika to gender Florit
- 31:52Speaker 2: has a ring to it, don't you think? And j
- 31:55Speaker 2: this lefty who thinks, wait for it, that men can
- 31:59Speaker 2: men strite.
- 32:00Speaker 19: Period parity doesn't just affect women. Two spirits, trans men,
- 32:03Speaker 19: non binary people, and gender green people can all have periods,
- 32:06Speaker 19: and argualy, period poverty may be higher in these populations.
- 32:09Speaker 19: Here's why you've ever seen a tampon dispenser or a
- 32:12Speaker 19: box of free tampons in a men's bathroom?
- 32:14Speaker 3: What about a.
- 32:15Speaker 19: Period I on not labeled feminine hygiene or pink boxes
- 32:18Speaker 19: all around it? Periods gonna be a really tough and
- 32:21Speaker 19: dangerous time for people that aren't SI gender women. So
- 32:24Speaker 19: you're donating period products or putting them in your workplace
- 32:26Speaker 19: for school, make sure they're in all bathrooms, or at
- 32:29Speaker 19: least that all people have access to these products.
- 32:31Speaker 3: Because blood has no gender.
- 32:32Speaker 2: Baby, hate to break it to you, but tampons aren't
- 32:36Speaker 2: in men's bathrooms because men don't have periods. Just another
- 32:40Speaker 2: day in the woke world we live in. Joining me
- 32:44Speaker 2: now is sky News contributor Koshagada Kosha, thank you for
- 32:47Speaker 2: joining us. Look, Joe Biden, fresh from his COVID diagnosis,
- 32:51Speaker 2: has had well a Biden moments, or at least someone
- 32:54Speaker 2: in his team has.
- 32:56Speaker 3: He's posted this.
- 32:57Speaker 2: Bizarre tweet saying quote, I'm sick. That's it, I'm sick,
- 33:02Speaker 2: And then three minutes later he added to the thread
- 33:04Speaker 2: of alon musk and he's rich buddies trying to buy
- 33:08Speaker 2: this selection kosher.
- 33:09Speaker 3: Either it's Joe or.
- 33:11Speaker 2: His team with the fumbling fingers on social media today, you.
- 33:17Speaker 20: Know, talk about an unforced error in a time when
- 33:20Speaker 20: he really can't afford it. He has no margin for
- 33:22Speaker 20: any type of error. And it's interesting, you know, he's
- 33:24Speaker 20: always been known as somebody who's gaff prone. Obviously, now
- 33:27Speaker 20: we're well beyond gaff prone is cognitive decline. But in
- 33:31Speaker 20: the written word, this is not an issue, and the
- 33:35Speaker 20: fact that it even happened there is unfortunate for him.
- 33:38Speaker 20: Obviously he added that tweet three minutes later, as you mentioned,
- 33:41Speaker 20: to finish the thought here as staff. But the damage
- 33:43Speaker 20: was done and the internet meme factory has had a
- 33:46Speaker 20: field day with it. There's all sorts of pictures and
- 33:48Speaker 20: things trending about you know, I'm sick of the selection,
- 33:50Speaker 20: I'm sick of and want to drop out of the race,
- 33:53Speaker 20: I'm sick of Donald Trump, etc. So people are having
- 33:55Speaker 20: a little bit of fun with it. I think the
- 33:57Speaker 20: COVID thing is more serious. Canceling a speech doesn't help
- 34:00Speaker 20: his image problem, where he does look frail and feeble,
- 34:03Speaker 20: and that just feeds into that, not to mention it
- 34:06Speaker 20: reminds everybody about the fiasco with how governments everywhere handled
- 34:11Speaker 20: COVID and how his party continues to push some of
- 34:13Speaker 20: those narratives. I think that's also something that he probably
- 34:16Speaker 20: would rather not have back into focus. But here he is.
- 34:18Speaker 2: Yeah, good, good point, and yeah, shocking timing when he's
- 34:21Speaker 2: desperately trying to prove to the world that he has
- 34:24Speaker 2: the mental capability to go for another round.
- 34:26Speaker 3: Terrible timing.
- 34:27Speaker 2: Now CNN is reporting that Joe Biden is actually receptive
- 34:31Speaker 2: to discussions about his future. A senior Democrat advisor says
- 34:35Speaker 2: he's being receptive, not as defiant as he is publicly.
- 34:39Speaker 2: He's gone from saying Karmala can't win to do you
- 34:42Speaker 2: think Karmala can win?
- 34:44Speaker 3: Kosher? What do you make of these reports?
- 34:48Speaker 20: You know, I take it with a huge grain of salt, Tanika,
- 34:51Speaker 20: because the mainstream media has turned on him, and we
- 34:54Speaker 20: saw that in the week of that debate. They've sort
- 34:56Speaker 20: of been on a pause after the assascination attempt and
- 35:00Speaker 20: Trump for obvious reasons, and now they're starting to warm
- 35:02Speaker 20: up that narrative again. I still don't see any hard
- 35:05Speaker 20: evidence that suggests Biden is going to voluntarily be receptive
- 35:09Speaker 20: or inch towards possibly stepping down. If it happens, it's
- 35:13Speaker 20: going to be because enough pressure from the real movers
- 35:16Speaker 20: and shakers and the party are coming to bear, and
- 35:18Speaker 20: that pressure maybe too much for him. But for now
- 35:21Speaker 20: it sounds like he and the family are still dug
- 35:23Speaker 20: in well.
- 35:23Speaker 2: Speaking of movers and shakers, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer
- 35:28Speaker 2: reportedly forcefully shared with President Biden concerns about him leading
- 35:33Speaker 2: the twenty twenty four Democratic ticket and encouraged him to
- 35:37Speaker 2: step aside have a listen to these.
- 35:41Speaker 14: This was a one on one meeting, just the Senate
- 35:43Speaker 14: leader and the President, and the Chuck Schumer forcefully made
- 35:47Speaker 14: the case that it would be better for Biden, better
- 35:50Speaker 14: for the Democratic Party, and better for the country if
- 35:53Speaker 14: he were to bow out of the race, and David,
- 35:55Speaker 14: when I went to Schumer's office to ask them about
- 35:58Speaker 14: to tell them I was going to report this and
- 36:00Speaker 14: tell you this tonight. Absolutely no denial from Senator Schumer's office.
- 36:04Speaker 14: They only said this Leader Schumer conveyed the views of
- 36:08Speaker 14: his caucus, in other words, the views of Democratic Senators.
- 36:11Speaker 2: Kosher Chuck Schumer's office, as you just heard, there have
- 36:14Speaker 2: not denied those claims. Where does this leave Biden now
- 36:18Speaker 2: when he's lost the support of the Senate Majority leader.
- 36:23Speaker 20: Yeah, now we're talking. So when we say that the
- 36:25Speaker 20: pressure being brought to bear, there's always been four names
- 36:28Speaker 20: ultimately that really really matter, not the media, not George Clooney,
- 36:31Speaker 20: that is Obama, Clinton hasn't really Bill Clinton, Chuck Schumer
- 36:35Speaker 20: is the Senate Majority Leader, Nancy Pelosi, and you know,
- 36:38Speaker 20: the former presidents have been at least publicly keeping staying
- 36:41Speaker 20: out of it or staying above the fray. But these
- 36:43Speaker 20: two Pelosi and Schumer have sort of been intimating a
- 36:46Speaker 20: little bit. They haven't come out yet with a big
- 36:49Speaker 20: call from to step down, but just saying things like
- 36:52Speaker 20: not denying the reports, or when Pelosi was asked, she said,
- 36:55Speaker 20: you know, it's up to him to make the decision.
- 36:56Speaker 20: They're not exactly out there with ringing endorsements, which is
- 36:59Speaker 20: a big tell. And I think these four and how
- 37:01Speaker 20: much power they have in their ability to get Biden
- 37:05Speaker 20: to step down or put that pressure, I think is
- 37:07Speaker 20: going to be revealed in the next two to three
- 37:08Speaker 20: weeks and we're all going to find out ultimately who
- 37:10Speaker 20: really has a bigger power in this party because right
- 37:14Speaker 20: now I still maintain it's a fifty to fifty chance
- 37:16Speaker 20: whether he does.
- 37:16Speaker 15: It or not.
- 37:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 37:17Speaker 2: Interesting, And I just wonder what happens now with his
- 37:20Speaker 2: COVID diagnoses, where does that still lead him? Plus all
- 37:23Speaker 2: these big figures now coming out saying no, he's not
- 37:25Speaker 2: the one.
- 37:26Speaker 3: So we'll be watching that closely.
- 37:28Speaker 2: Now, CNN has obtained Democratic funded polling that shows Joe
- 37:32Speaker 2: Biden is losing ground to Trump in fourteen key states.
- 37:36Speaker 3: Here's a state of.
- 37:37Speaker 21: Play sixteen weeks from tomorrow, we count the votes. It
- 37:40Speaker 21: is tough to change a map like this in that
- 37:42Speaker 21: amount of time. And here's why Democrats are so worried.
- 37:46Speaker 21: Why so many Democrats are saying, mister president, please reconsider
- 37:49Speaker 21: and get out of this race, because right now Trump
- 37:52Speaker 21: is leading here, and Trump is leading here, leading here narrowly,
- 37:56Speaker 21: but he's ahead in those states. Trump is leading here.
- 38:01Speaker 21: That's three hundred and twelve electoral votes, kosher.
- 38:03Speaker 2: If this was replicated in November, what is being projected.
- 38:07Speaker 2: Is it safe to say it's a Republican wipeout?
- 38:12Speaker 20: If this is replicated, it would be I think reportedly
- 38:15Speaker 20: this was exactly the information that Schumer took into that
- 38:18Speaker 20: meeting with Biden to try and make that point.
- 38:21Speaker 3: I think it would be.
- 38:22Speaker 20: It would translate to anywhere from three hundred and thirty
- 38:24Speaker 20: electoral votes and above to Trump, which is something that
- 38:27Speaker 20: a Republican candidate hasn't seen in forty years. However, I
- 38:30Speaker 20: will continue to caution that I believe, notwithstanding all of that,
- 38:34Speaker 20: this election is still going to be very, very very close,
- 38:37Speaker 20: because these polls do not measure what arguably is the
- 38:40Speaker 20: biggest force that drives you as elections right now, and
- 38:42Speaker 20: that is the machinery, the ground game, and the Democrat Party,
- 38:45Speaker 20: regardless of who the nominee ends up being, is just
- 38:47Speaker 20: really really good and historically superior to the Republican Party
- 38:50Speaker 20: in doing that, in micro targeting, driving turnout, acquiring ballots.
- 38:55Speaker 20: You know, chasing low propensity voters and get them to
- 38:57Speaker 20: mail in ballots in those little swing counties and states
- 39:00Speaker 20: that this election will turn on. And I think that
- 39:02Speaker 20: picture remains a big part of this that he's paused.
- 39:05Speaker 3: On reflect now. Kosher.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Trump's first official campaign following the announcement of his vice
- 39:10Speaker 2: presidential pick is out here.
- 39:12Speaker 3: It is.
- 39:12Speaker 22: They want to take away my freedom, because I will
- 39:15Speaker 22: never let them take away your freedom. They want to
- 39:19Speaker 22: silence me because I will never let them silence you.
- 39:26Speaker 4: They're not coming after me.
- 39:27Speaker 23: They're coming after you.
- 39:28Speaker 3: And I just happen to be standing in their way,
- 39:31Speaker 3: and I will.
- 39:32Speaker 22: Never be moving. On November fifth, twenty four, justice will
- 39:37Speaker 22: be known, we will take back our country, and we
- 39:40Speaker 22: will make America great again.
- 39:44Speaker 3: Kosher.
- 39:45Speaker 2: It actually is a two and a half minute ad,
- 39:47Speaker 2: and in it he criticizes the several criminal charges he's
- 39:50Speaker 2: facing and promises to totally obliterate the deep state.
- 39:54Speaker 3: How much is he appealing to his base here?
- 39:59Speaker 20: Huge this red meat for the base. They've been with
- 40:02Speaker 20: him throughout all of these attacks against him, reputationally, legally
- 40:07Speaker 20: and now with his life, so for sure. But I
- 40:09Speaker 20: think also very interestingly it's appealing to the outer perimeter
- 40:12Speaker 20: of his base, and just the realignment of the acceptance,
- 40:16Speaker 20: the acceptability of the choice to support Trump openly had
- 40:21Speaker 20: that's happened in the last couple of months is something
- 40:24Speaker 20: I've never seen before. You've got everybody from rap stars
- 40:27Speaker 20: like fifty Cent, to the Silicon Valley Titans, to Elon Musk,
- 40:31Speaker 20: richest man in the world, to Wall Street people to
- 40:33Speaker 20: doctor Phil who's a daytime talk TV legend in America
- 40:37Speaker 20: and has a huge suburban mom audience. All these people
- 40:40Speaker 20: have been coming out supporting him. And a big turning
- 40:43Speaker 20: point for that really was the law Fair when mar
- 40:46Speaker 20: Lago was raided and these different cases were brought to him.
- 40:49Speaker 20: That really became a turning point for a lot of
- 40:51Speaker 20: people who maybe weren't open Trump supporters before. And this
- 40:54Speaker 20: video goes to the heart of that and supports galvanizes
- 40:57Speaker 20: them further.
- 40:58Speaker 2: Yeah, it just feels like there's such a moment towards
- 41:00Speaker 2: the party at the moment now jd. Vance has addressed
- 41:04Speaker 2: the Republican Convention in quite an incredible speech.
- 41:08Speaker 24: He is part of it, and so tonight, mister Chairman,
- 41:11Speaker 24: I stand here humbled and I'm overwhelmed with gratitude. To say,
- 41:16Speaker 24: I officially accept your nomination to be Vice president of
- 41:19Speaker 24: the United States of America.
- 41:24Speaker 3: And on the other side, Kamala Harris was out with
- 41:27Speaker 3: a scare campaign against JD Vance.
- 41:30Speaker 23: Here everyone, So Donald Trump has picked his new running
- 41:33Speaker 23: mate JD.
- 41:34Speaker 4: Vance.
- 41:35Speaker 23: Trump looked for someone he knew would be a rubber
- 41:37Speaker 23: stamp for his extreme agenda. And make no mistake, jd
- 41:41Speaker 23: Vance will be loyal only to Trump, not to our country.
- 41:45Speaker 3: Well, Kosher, it sets up a great vice presidential debate.
- 41:51Speaker 20: It sure does an interestingly deneage. A Trump campaign just
- 41:53Speaker 20: put out an email that's the ultimate trolling of Vice
- 41:57Speaker 20: President Harris where they said, we can agree to a
- 42:00Speaker 20: date for the vice presidential debate because we don't know
- 42:02Speaker 20: who the vice president would be and if gede Vans
- 42:05Speaker 20: were to be you, Kamala, that would be unfair to
- 42:07Speaker 20: Gavin Newsom regrets and Whitner whoever else the vice president
- 42:10Speaker 20: would mean would be. So they're obviously trolling them back
- 42:13Speaker 20: to that point and we'll bite and drop out. Will
- 42:15Speaker 20: Kamla be actually at the top of the ticket and
- 42:17Speaker 20: someone else will be the VP? So we have no
- 42:19Speaker 20: idea and the selection cycle discets crazier.
- 42:22Speaker 3: That is a very good point.
- 42:23Speaker 2: Who is going to be the president nominee? Who is
- 42:26Speaker 2: going to be the vice president for the Democrats who're
- 42:28Speaker 2: still waiting to find that final proformation, Koshagadak, Good to
- 42:32Speaker 2: be with you.
- 42:32Speaker 3: Thanks for joining us. Still to come.
- 42:35Speaker 2: Meghan is apparently curious at the King's latest business venture.
- 42:38Speaker 3: Is he getting into the jam business too?
- 42:41Speaker 2: And the Internet loses it over an election predicting dog.
- 42:45Speaker 3: Gabriella Power is next after this welcome back. Joining me
- 42:56Speaker 3: now is the.
- 42:57Speaker 2: Host of Power Hour, Gabriella Power. Good to see you,
- 43:00Speaker 2: Thank you so much for joining us, Gabriella. Now, look,
- 43:03Speaker 2: we've all seen this well largely uncomfortable, very awkward moment
- 43:07Speaker 2: when US country singer Ingrid Andress sang the national anthem
- 43:11Speaker 2: at the home run derby.
- 43:15Speaker 11: Stop Oo, the of the Free.
- 43:39Speaker 3: Bye.
- 43:40Speaker 22: Yes.
- 43:40Speaker 2: We all love a little bit of drunk mid karaoke,
- 43:43Speaker 2: don't we, Gabriella, And that was really like me, actually
- 43:47Speaker 2: a bit like.
- 43:48Speaker 3: Me too, like both of us.
- 43:49Speaker 25: Look, but she's now apologized, she has and that is
- 43:52Speaker 25: what is the important thing. You know, you kind of
- 43:54Speaker 25: look at that, you just feel a bit sorry for her.
- 43:57Speaker 3: Many of us have been there, but in a karaoke.
- 43:58Speaker 25: Studio and not really for millions of people to watch
- 44:02Speaker 25: and then laugh at. But she's come out and she
- 44:03Speaker 25: said that she was drunk, and she has apologized. So
- 44:06Speaker 25: she's written on social media, I'm not gonna be s y'all,
- 44:09Speaker 25: i was drunk last night. I'm checking myself into a
- 44:11Speaker 25: facility today to get the help that I need. That
- 44:14Speaker 25: was not me last night. So look, I think the
- 44:17Speaker 25: fact that she has owned up to her she's being
- 44:18Speaker 25: honest that she has a problem with alcohol, is something
- 44:21Speaker 25: that is really resonating with people. Many families know someone
- 44:24Speaker 25: they've may have personally struggled with alcohol addiction, and she's
- 44:28Speaker 25: hopefully now getting the help that she needs. And I
- 44:30Speaker 25: think being so transparent and vulnerable is really resonating. So
- 44:34Speaker 25: we're seeing people reach out and offer messages of support
- 44:37Speaker 25: to Ingrid. We've seen other country music singers saying sending
- 44:41Speaker 25: you love Ingrid. Being this open takes a lot. You've
- 44:43Speaker 25: got this hang in there. So look, she's opened up
- 44:47Speaker 25: a bit in a newsletter before that incident, saying that
- 44:50Speaker 25: she was in a low point and she needed to
- 44:52Speaker 25: go back to the town where she grew up. In
- 44:55Speaker 25: and she needed to part ways with some people. So look,
- 44:58Speaker 25: everyone in their life has stuff going on on.
- 45:00Speaker 3: These and has happened very public.
- 45:03Speaker 2: Clay, I do feel a bit sorry for her, A musta,
- 45:05Speaker 2: I must say. Now, model and former reality TV personality
- 45:09Speaker 2: Amborrowse has been criticized for the speech she made at
- 45:12Speaker 2: the Republican National Convention.
- 45:14Speaker 3: Here's a bit of it.
- 45:15Speaker 7: I realize Donald Trump and his supporters don't care.
- 45:18Speaker 3: If you're black, white, gay, or street.
- 45:21Speaker 2: It's all love and of course right on que Chief
- 45:25Speaker 2: Loon otherwise known as MSNBC host Joy Reid wasn't having.
- 45:29Speaker 3: A bar of it.
- 45:30Speaker 15: This woman who is of whatever race that she has claimed.
- 45:33Speaker 15: She said she's not black, But they've brought somebody whose
- 45:36Speaker 15: whole career is based in black culture, and the fact
- 45:40Speaker 15: that she is now the person they're using to try
- 45:43Speaker 15: to recruit young people of color, and to say that
- 45:45Speaker 15: this is the person who is the endorser of Donald Trump,
- 45:49Speaker 15: who you should trust, when she won't even claim the
- 45:52Speaker 15: culture that brought her to the table, I'm dubious that
- 45:55Speaker 15: this will work.
- 45:56Speaker 3: What else would we expect?
- 45:58Speaker 2: Gabriella Now amber Rose has apped back at that common
- 46:01Speaker 2: what she said.
- 46:02Speaker 25: Amber Rose has replied swiftly and quite fiercely. I'll just
- 46:05Speaker 25: let you know what she said in a tweet. She said, Hi, Joy,
- 46:07Speaker 25: I've never said I wasn't black. I said I identify
- 46:10Speaker 25: as bi racial. I'm not going to invalid my white
- 46:13Speaker 25: father to make you feel more comfortable stopping a race beta.
- 46:17Speaker 25: Your president does enough race baiting for all of us.
- 46:19Speaker 25: Now that tweet has since been deleted, But what this
- 46:22Speaker 25: whole controversy just shows me is that people get so
- 46:25Speaker 25: riled up when it doesn't suit their narrative that, oh,
- 46:28Speaker 25: someone who claims to be biracial or whatever says that
- 46:31Speaker 25: Donald Trump is not a racist, that Donald Trump is
- 46:34Speaker 25: not a misogynist. We are all of a sudden standing
- 46:36Speaker 25: up for Donald Trump. Someone that wants to say that
- 46:39Speaker 25: publicly at the RNC is so quickly being criticized by
- 46:44Speaker 25: some journalists.
- 46:45Speaker 3: And I think that's what we're seeing. That's what's quite concerning, that.
- 46:48Speaker 25: They can't handle when there are prominent people, celebrities coming
- 46:52Speaker 25: out in support of Donald Trump. And we're just seeing
- 46:54Speaker 25: more and more celebrities coming out in support of Donald Trump.
- 46:57Speaker 25: He has more support than he did for you years ago.
- 47:00Speaker 25: Eight years ago, and I suspect after what we've seen
- 47:03Speaker 25: on Saturday that that support is going to continue to grow.
- 47:05Speaker 2: Well, it's a whole movement now, it's been it's unbelievable
- 47:08Speaker 2: to watch.
- 47:08Speaker 3: Now. One guest at the Republican.
- 47:10Speaker 2: National Convention managed to steal the show despite not even
- 47:14Speaker 2: giving a speech, and that was Baby Dog, the canine
- 47:17Speaker 2: companion of West Virginia Governor Jim Justice.
- 47:32Speaker 3: Our Gabriella. Baby Dogs quite the celebrity, very huge, isn't
- 47:36Speaker 3: it wild? Though?
- 47:37Speaker 25: Dogs cats are becoming celebrities getting more views and Power
- 47:41Speaker 25: Hour and US Australia very well and comes to views
- 47:45Speaker 25: millions of either on them on dogs. But I think
- 47:49Speaker 25: it Babe Dog's gorgeous. I like that politicians are trying
- 47:52Speaker 25: to make make themselves maybe a little bit more appealing
- 47:56Speaker 25: with dogs. So this dog, in particular, Baby Dog is
- 47:59Speaker 25: one of reed dogs owned by Jim Justice and his
- 48:02Speaker 25: family and it was his children who surprised Jim Justice
- 48:04Speaker 25: with Baby Dog for Christmas, and since then, Baby Dog
- 48:07Speaker 25: has become a favorite among West Virginians across the state.
- 48:11Speaker 3: He travels with the governor.
- 48:13Speaker 25: Life and according to the campaign, Baby Dog symbolizes warmth, love, connection,
- 48:19Speaker 25: and helps spread cheer and foster's unity. And we know
- 48:22Speaker 25: what the RNC unity is going to be a big
- 48:25Speaker 25: focus for Donald Trump when he does speak. Yes tomorrow,
- 48:28Speaker 25: yes whenever Berner of this gets out, and yeah, we cannot.
- 48:31Speaker 3: Wait for that for that message. So it's gotta be great,
- 48:34Speaker 3: it's gotta right.
- 48:35Speaker 22: Look up.
- 48:35Speaker 2: Just want to get to the Royals, because Meghan Markle
- 48:37Speaker 2: is reportedly furious sober King Charles's latest product launch and
- 48:40Speaker 2: is hoping to actually confront him. Now, Gabriella, we know
- 48:43Speaker 2: earlier this year she released, of course a jam and
- 48:47Speaker 2: now it's been reported that the King is going to
- 48:49Speaker 2: release his organic High Grove Royal Estate Honey. Well, we
- 48:52Speaker 2: all know which one would be better out of those absolutely.
- 48:56Speaker 25: Look, these reports have come out of the Mirror, and
- 48:58Speaker 25: according to the Mirror, Meghan Markel is furious the King
- 49:01Speaker 25: Charles is going ahead with this product, and of course
- 49:03Speaker 25: she's making it about herself something different. But there are
- 49:07Speaker 25: reports that she believes that this was a deliberate attempt
- 49:10Speaker 25: to curb her success. Well, unfortunately, I don't think this
- 49:13Speaker 25: product is actually about Meghan Markle, but let's not you know,
- 49:17Speaker 25: why not take it as an excuse to make it
- 49:19Speaker 25: about her. So look, I think Meghan Markle Power Tour
- 49:22Speaker 25: for trying to get a brand up and running. That
- 49:25Speaker 25: isn't about making money for rubbishing the royal family. But hey,
- 49:28Speaker 25: here's an excuse to why not.
- 49:30Speaker 2: Let me make at all about myself as usual, Gabriella Power.
- 49:34Speaker 2: Great to have you on, Thank you so much for
- 49:36Speaker 2: joining us. Thank you, and that's it for me. Up
- 49:39Speaker 2: next is news Night, good night,
