- 0:00Speaker 1: So Mark Simone Show on seven to ten wor Hey,
- 0:09Speaker 1: it's Friday, the week before Thanksgiving. I just texted doctor
- 0:13Speaker 1: Keith Ablow. He'll come on with us Monday. He's one
- 0:16Speaker 1: of the great psychiatrists in the world, psychologists. He's done
- 0:21Speaker 1: incredible work on Trump derangement syndrome. What causes it exactly?
- 0:27Speaker 1: What is it about this guy that sets you crazy
- 0:30Speaker 1: liberals off so much? We'll get to that. Also, he'd
- 0:33Speaker 1: give us some advice on if you're going to Thanksgiving dinner,
- 0:37Speaker 1: how not to fight with your relatives, how not to
- 0:40Speaker 1: get crazy. You know, it's if you do this for
- 0:43Speaker 1: a living, this kind of stuff, you don't ever talk
- 0:46Speaker 1: about it off the year. You don't sit there and
- 0:47Speaker 1: discuss politics with a bunch of people that you know
- 0:51Speaker 1: are basically just amateurs, and you don't care what anybody
- 0:55Speaker 1: thinks him. It's fine. I mean, you know, people can
- 0:58Speaker 1: if I've been at the part or something. Trump is
- 1:01Speaker 1: the worst Nightmary. He's a threat to democracy. I can't
- 1:04Speaker 1: sleep at night. I just go yeah, me too, and
- 1:06Speaker 1: just walk away. Don't don't even argue it, don't even
- 1:09Speaker 1: bother with them. I love the New York Yankees and
- 1:13Speaker 1: sometimes You'll be standing there and say, yank terrible. I
- 1:17Speaker 1: love the Mets. I don't get mad. It's fine. You
- 1:20Speaker 1: love the Mets that you hate Trump, you love FID Fine,
- 1:24Speaker 1: don't just don't. Don't even worry about it. But we'll
- 1:28Speaker 1: talk to a professional, a real expert, on Monday about
- 1:32Speaker 1: what to do about that at at a Thanksgiving dinner.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Now here's the latest Trump controversy. These handful of people
- 1:41Speaker 1: in Congress put out this video telling the troops not
- 1:44Speaker 1: to listen to orders if they think they're not legal.
- 1:47Speaker 1: If you're in the military, if you're a military person,
- 1:52Speaker 1: if you're there and the commander gives you an order,
- 1:55Speaker 1: if you don't feel it's legal. This is people in Congress,
- 1:58Speaker 1: men and women in Congress. Don't follow it. Don't follow
- 2:02Speaker 1: any order you think is illegal, and we'll have your back.
- 2:06Speaker 1: It's a ridiculous video to put out. This is horrible.
- 2:10Speaker 1: First of all, you're, you know, a soldier servant in
- 2:13Speaker 1: the middle of something. You're not a lawyer. You know
- 2:15Speaker 1: you can't actually evaluate correctly is this legal or illegal?
- 2:19Speaker 1: And you never tell the troops to disobey orders. It's
- 2:22Speaker 1: just absolutely ridiculous. So why would they do such a
- 2:25Speaker 1: dumb thing. Well, uh, probably they were trolling Trump. This
- 2:32Speaker 1: is the age of a tweeting and trolling and that
- 2:34Speaker 1: kind of stuff. So they're probably trying to get into
- 2:37Speaker 1: his head or get under his skin or make him overreact,
- 2:40Speaker 1: and he did. He overreacted like crazy. I mean, he
- 2:44Speaker 1: should have attacked him, really attacked him for this. But
- 2:48Speaker 1: he said, this is treason. This is sedition. Actually, if
- 2:52Speaker 1: you tell our military to disobey orders. He's got a
- 2:57Speaker 1: point there, it's treason, it's editioned. But he did point
- 3:02Speaker 1: out sedition is treason is punishable by death. Okay, well
- 3:08Speaker 1: that's the law. But then they're claiming he called for
- 3:11Speaker 1: their execution. He told the said they should we should
- 3:14Speaker 1: hang them. He didn't say that, but he what he
- 3:18Speaker 1: did was wrong. There was somebody that tweeted that. It
- 3:20Speaker 1: said hang them. George Washington would have which is true.
- 3:24Speaker 1: George Washington would hang you for that. But Trump, we
- 3:29Speaker 1: retweeted it. You know, if the president United States, you're
- 3:31Speaker 1: not supposed to retweet that kind of stuff. So Trump
- 3:34Speaker 1: was wrong, shouldn't have done it, went too far, but
- 3:39Speaker 1: that's Trump, He's done it before. I can't honestly tell
- 3:45Speaker 1: you if he does it deliberately, or if he just
- 3:47Speaker 1: gets carried away, or he has this thing about being
- 3:51Speaker 1: the main story in every news cycle every day. He
- 3:56Speaker 1: wants to be the lead story on the news every day.
- 3:59Speaker 1: He wants to put on any news talk channel, Fox,
- 4:05Speaker 1: MSN and be the lead story any day. So you're
- 4:07Speaker 1: not supposed to do that. You know, first role of
- 4:09Speaker 1: publicity when you need it. You know, if you're a
- 4:12Speaker 1: big star and your new movies coming out, suddenly you're everywhere.
- 4:16Speaker 1: You're on every show, You're on every TV show, you're
- 4:19Speaker 1: in the paper magazine, you're everywhere for two three weeks
- 4:23Speaker 1: plugging your new book, your new movie, and then you
- 4:25Speaker 1: go away for a couple of months, and then you
- 4:28Speaker 1: come back. You know, when Taylor Swift needs some publicity.
- 4:31Speaker 1: It's all you see is Taylor Swift for a week,
- 4:34Speaker 1: and then there'll be a month where you don't. He's
- 4:36Speaker 1: supposed to go away for a while. Trump doesn't believe
- 4:38Speaker 1: that theory. He thinks do it every day. He's been
- 4:41Speaker 1: doing it every day for forty years. So that's one
- 4:43Speaker 1: reason he goes over the top with these with these
- 4:46Speaker 1: crazy things, and they're all over the place, yelling and
- 4:50Speaker 1: screaming he was calling for their execution. Then you get
- 4:54Speaker 1: the quiet to quiet Mike Johnson, who's got to jump
- 4:58Speaker 1: into this.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Sometimes he uses rhetoric. Okay, but do any of you
- 5:03Speaker 2: agree that that's appropriate, that they should be telling young
- 5:05Speaker 2: members of the military to defy orders. You should think
- 5:08Speaker 2: about the implications of that. The President's trying to make
- 5:10Speaker 2: a point. I think he made the point. I'm glad
- 5:12Speaker 2: you're all covering it. You need to criticize and ask
- 5:14Speaker 2: the questions of the Democrats, not the Republicans.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, so listen, he was wrong, but they were
- 5:19Speaker 1: wrong too. Everybody was wrong in this. Caroline Levitt had
- 5:23Speaker 1: to respond.
- 5:23Speaker 3: They are literally saying to one point three million active
- 5:26Speaker 3: duty service members not to defy the chain of command,
- 5:30Speaker 3: not to follow lawful orders, every single refuse an illegal order,
- 5:36Speaker 3: because they're suggesting, they're suggesting, Nancy, that the president has
- 5:41Speaker 3: given illegal orders, which he has not. Every single order
- 5:44Speaker 3: that is given to this United States Military by this
- 5:46Speaker 3: Commander in chief and through this command chain of command,
- 5:49Speaker 3: through the Secretary of War is lawful.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Yeah. These kindless people were absolutely wrong to do this.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Their claim is, well, we only meant if there's an
- 5:57Speaker 1: illegal order. Well, nobody's ever seen an illegal order. And
- 6:01Speaker 1: here's the real key to this. They've been running around
- 6:04Speaker 1: doing TV shows. That's the whole reason they did this,
- 6:05Speaker 1: to give themselves a lot of publicity, and all of
- 6:08Speaker 1: a sudden, they're all over TV, and a couple of
- 6:10Speaker 1: times on TV they said, well, when you say an
- 6:13Speaker 1: illegal order, give us an example of what you were
- 6:15Speaker 1: talking about. And they couldn't think of an example. It's
- 6:17Speaker 1: never happened. Nobody could point to anything they when asked
- 6:22Speaker 1: about it. When they were asked about it, they could
- 6:24Speaker 1: not give an answer that question. They couldn't point to
- 6:27Speaker 1: any illegal order. So nobody knows exactly what the hell
- 6:30Speaker 1: they were talking about. Hey, Jasmine Crockett, this an absolute
- 6:36Speaker 1: bumbling idiot. Is the one that claimed Jeffrey Epstein donated
- 6:41Speaker 1: to Lee Zelden, Well, it's not true. It's a different
- 6:44Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein. It's a doctor in Long Island, and at
- 6:48Speaker 1: the time of the donation, the real Jeffrey Epstein had
- 6:53Speaker 1: been dead for like four years, so obviously he's dead,
- 6:56Speaker 1: he's not donating. When she was asked about.
- 6:58Speaker 4: It, I never said that it was that Jeffrey Epstein.
- 7:00Speaker 4: My team what they did is they googled, And that
- 7:02Speaker 4: is specifically why I said a Jeffrey Epstein. Unlike Republicans,
- 7:06Speaker 4: I at least don't go out and just tell lies
- 7:09Speaker 4: because it was not the same one.
- 7:11Speaker 5: That's fine.
- 7:11Speaker 4: But when Lee Zelden had something to say, all he
- 7:14Speaker 4: had to say was it was a different jeff Jeffrey Epstein.
- 7:17Speaker 4: He admitted that he did receive donations from a Jeffrey Epstein,
- 7:21Speaker 4: So at least I wasn't trying to mislead people.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Yeah, she's s getting awards now for what is possibly
- 7:26Speaker 1: the dumbest excuse anybody's ever heard. It was one incredibly
- 7:32Speaker 1: stupid excuse. I think this is where she originally said.
- 7:34Speaker 5: It folks who also took money from somebody named Jeffrey Epstein.
- 7:39Speaker 5: As I had my team dig in very quickly, met Romney,
- 7:43Speaker 5: the NRCC, Lee Zelden, George Bush.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Yeah, of course it's a different Jeffrey Epstein. But she
- 7:53Speaker 1: was asked about it.
- 7:54Speaker 4: Do you want to correct the record on the people,
- 7:56Speaker 4: and I never said that it was that Jeffrey Epstein.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Yes you did. It's an incredibly stupid excuse, absolutely ridiculous. Hey,
- 8:07Speaker 1: when it comes to exercise, Now you think you're supposed
- 8:10Speaker 1: to be like sweating in the gym. You're supposed to
- 8:12Speaker 1: be out there running three miles. You're supposed to be sweating.
- 8:15Speaker 1: And well, there's all kinds of new studies out now
- 8:21Speaker 1: showing that the best exercise what they call zone zero exercise.
- 8:26Speaker 1: It's more gentle, slower, as long as it's just real exercise,
- 8:30Speaker 1: as long as you're walking. A lot of people just
- 8:32Speaker 1: try walking now instead of running. But if you do
- 8:35Speaker 1: a lot of walking, you're supposed to do ten thousand steps,
- 8:37Speaker 1: you try to do fifteen thousand every day. But that
- 8:40Speaker 1: kind of stuff, and there's all kinds of new studies,
- 8:42Speaker 1: scientific studies showing that can be just as beneficial and
- 8:46Speaker 1: in some ways more beneficial, especially when you get older,
- 8:49Speaker 1: that the most important exercise is what they call zone zero.
- 8:52Speaker 1: It's gentle exercise, stretching, walking, light yoga or just like gardening,
- 8:57Speaker 1: that kind of stuff. Movement, lots of moves. You don't
- 9:02Speaker 1: have to be sweating, just constant movement. It improves circulation,
- 9:06Speaker 1: regulates blood sugar, lowers cardiovascular risk, eases stress, supports mental health.
- 9:11Speaker 1: So you know, go to the gym. Now, there's some
- 9:14Speaker 1: studies say well, once a week or once all you
- 9:16Speaker 1: got to go do some real exercise in a gym.
- 9:18Speaker 1: But most important thing daily is just gentle exercise. Whether
- 9:22Speaker 1: it's just a lot of walking or stretching, it's very
- 9:26Speaker 1: very important. Movement doesn't have to be hard. According to study,
- 9:30Speaker 1: gentle regular activity still counts and can give you major
- 9:34Speaker 1: health benefits. Also, you'll lose weight doing that. You won't
- 9:39Speaker 1: have to take that stupid ozempic. There's one side effect
- 9:42Speaker 1: after another coming from that ozempic. You know this ozempic
- 9:47Speaker 1: face where you just your face looks older, your skin
- 9:50Speaker 1: gets droopy. Another problem now dentists reporting ozempic teeth. The
- 9:57Speaker 1: side effects of not just ozempic, but all those g
- 10:00Speaker 1: LP injections can lead to dry mouth. There's an active
- 10:05Speaker 1: ingredient that affects the salivary glands that'll give you the
- 10:09Speaker 1: dry mouth, and that causes all kinds of problems with
- 10:14Speaker 1: your gums and your teeth. The medications also cause people
- 10:18Speaker 1: to drink less water. They'll be less thirsty, so this
- 10:21Speaker 1: increases the risk of cavities, gum disease. You know who
- 10:25Speaker 1: loves ozempic. Of these plastic surgeons because they got to
- 10:28Speaker 1: fix the skin that ozempic face and now dentists love it,
- 10:31Speaker 1: creating more work for them. Hey, the TV show Boston Blue, well,
- 10:38Speaker 1: I've been watching it. It's pretty good. It's like I
- 10:40Speaker 1: think the fifth episode is on tonight. It's instead of
- 10:43Speaker 1: Blue Bloods. You know, for fourteen years it was Blue
- 10:46Speaker 1: Bloods every Friday night at ten. I missed that show.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Love watching the reruns. But it's Boston Blue. It's Danny
- 10:54Speaker 1: Reagan now in Boston. It's pretty good. It's not Blue Bloods,
- 10:59Speaker 1: but it's pretty good. I do watch it now every week.
- 11:01Speaker 1: But in one time, Bridget moynihan made a cameo from
- 11:07Speaker 1: the original Blue blood series. What about Tom Selick? Will
- 11:10Speaker 1: he do it well? He was asked the question sounds
- 11:13Speaker 1: like no. He was pretty blunt, pretty blunt. He seems
- 11:17Speaker 1: kind of angry. Selik is not happy that CBS canceled
- 11:21Speaker 1: Blue Bloods, and he said, I think it's partly my
- 11:25Speaker 1: lot in life to make sure Blue Bloods has its
- 11:29Speaker 1: place in television history. But I don't think it's my
- 11:33Speaker 1: lot in life to keep playing Frank Reagan. He makes
- 11:37Speaker 1: it pretty clear he's not interested in doing Boston Blue,
- 11:41Speaker 1: and he can't explain he's still mad. It was one
- 11:44Speaker 1: of CBS's top top shows, one of like the five
- 11:47Speaker 1: highest rated shows in television. He can't believe they canceled it,
- 11:51Speaker 1: he says, I still don't know why CBS did it.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Actually points out, if you get rid of football, he
- 11:57Speaker 1: was the sixth most popular series in all of television.
- 12:01Speaker 1: I don't know where my next job will be, he said,
- 12:03Speaker 1: I'd love a good western. I want to sit on
- 12:06Speaker 1: a horse again. What does anybody want to do a western?
- 12:09Speaker 1: They look terrible and they don't want to see in
- 12:11Speaker 1: a western. I love to do another comedy. He's very
- 12:14Speaker 1: good in comedy. Remember Friends and Hey, Remember he was
- 12:17Speaker 1: on Boston Legal for a while. He was pretty good
- 12:19Speaker 1: on that show. But why did CBS cancelor? Because nobody
- 12:23Speaker 1: watches TV anymore. It's people don't watch network television. They're
- 12:28Speaker 1: all streaming and all that stuff, but they're not watching ABC,
- 12:32Speaker 1: CBS or NBC much anymore. And you can't afford to
- 12:35Speaker 1: do these really expensive shows. You know, when you do
- 12:38Speaker 1: a game show, it doesn't cost much money. You know,
- 12:42Speaker 1: you build one set that last year for seven years,
- 12:45Speaker 1: just that one set, and you don't have to pay
- 12:48Speaker 1: the people very much, even the celebrities to come on
- 12:50Speaker 1: a game show. It's like a late night talk show.
- 12:52Speaker 1: You're paying them basically scale. It doesn't cost you anything.
- 12:55Speaker 1: You do Blue Bloods or any drama or Law and Order,
- 12:58Speaker 1: you're spending a fortune. And you got to make a
- 13:01Speaker 1: movie every week, you gotta spend millions out in the
- 13:03Speaker 1: street car chases. You ever see them film a movie
- 13:06Speaker 1: out in the street. It's fifty trucks, it's twenty seven trailers,
- 13:10Speaker 1: it's one hundred people out there. You know what that
- 13:12Speaker 1: costs to do that. That's not one scene. You got
- 13:15Speaker 1: to do like thirty seven scenes for each show. So
- 13:17Speaker 1: it costs a fortune. That's why you don't see Blue
- 13:20Speaker 1: Bloods anymore, Boston Blue. It's it's a cheaper version. Oh,
- 13:25Speaker 1: they still got to do those chasings, but they're smaller
- 13:27Speaker 1: chase scenes and you don't have to pay a whole cast.
- 13:30Speaker 1: Remember Blue Blood's had like eight stars all getting seven figures.
- 13:35Speaker 1: This is one star maybe getting seven figures. And that's
- 13:39Speaker 1: about it. So today's the meeting Mom, Donnie and Trump.
- 13:43Speaker 1: It'll take place at three o'clock today. They'll meet in
- 13:47Speaker 1: the Oval Office. It's closed to the press. Now here's
- 13:52Speaker 1: the deal. President Trump knows if they open it to
- 13:55Speaker 1: the press and there's video and pictures, it will elevate
- 13:59Speaker 1: Mom Donnie's status in the world. You know, when you're
- 14:02Speaker 1: sitting on that yellow couch in the Oval Office talking
- 14:05Speaker 1: to the President, it gives you a gravitas. There you
- 14:09Speaker 1: are on the couch where the world leaders sit, talking
- 14:11Speaker 1: to the President of the United States. So those photographs
- 14:15Speaker 1: will really really elevate the status of Mam Donni. So
- 14:18Speaker 1: it's closed to the press. However, at the end of
- 14:22Speaker 1: the meeting, President can decide, depending on how it goes,
- 14:27Speaker 1: he can decide to bring the press in to take
- 14:29Speaker 1: those pictures or do that video. They can even go
- 14:33Speaker 1: live on TV. So at the end of the meeting,
- 14:36Speaker 1: depending on what happens, the President will decide if he
- 14:39Speaker 1: wants to bring them in, and it will it will
- 14:43Speaker 1: make Mam Donnie look important. Now, the other thing you
- 14:48Speaker 1: got to watch for is who else is in the room,
- 14:49Speaker 1: Mam Donnie. And the President always tells you when you
- 14:52Speaker 1: come to me, when he invites you to a meeting,
- 14:53Speaker 1: he'll say, bring whoever you want. Says that very often,
- 14:56Speaker 1: So Mam Donnie can bring his team. But h if
- 15:00Speaker 1: he looks to the you know, he'll be on this couch.
- 15:02Speaker 1: If he looks over at the other couch and it's J.
- 15:04Speaker 1: D Vance and Steven Miller and Tom Holman, I don't
- 15:07Speaker 1: think Mom done will like that. So I don't know
- 15:10Speaker 1: what's going to happen, but we'll find out. At three
- 15:12Speaker 1: o'clock today, we'll take some calls. Next eight hundred three
- 15:16Speaker 1: two one zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred
- 15:20Speaker 1: three two one zero seven ten
