- 0:01Honest observation, without mental bias, is the first step.
- 0:06The mother outlines This is accomplished by setting up the
- 0:10ideal as a screen or filter against which to compare each
- 0:15action. Those that do not compare
- 0:18entirely favorably represent things that can be identified as
- 0:24subjects for the change process. The standpoint of the uninvolved
- 0:29witness of the nature. Does not have any obligation to
- 0:33intervene and many paths of yogic development that utilize
- 0:38this method Council non-intervention as a basis of
- 0:43achieving liberation. If the goal, however, is not
- 0:48Liberation, the transformation different criteria emerge and as
- 0:54a result at some point, intervention is required and
- 0:59becomes phase two of the process.
- 1:02Eventually the observational mode is able to identify
- 1:06specific areas of conflict, between different parts of the
- 1:10being, their various needs drives motives habits and
- 1:16directions, and begin to organize each of these elements
- 1:20around. The highest aspiration
- 1:22representing the purpose. The psychic being has as the
- 1:27life objective. The mother writes quote and I am
- 1:34so convinced that anybody who does it in that way with the
- 1:38same freshness and sincerity will obtain exhilarating
- 1:42results. To put all that on a screen in
- 1:46front of yourself and look at what is happening.
- 1:49And the first step is to know, all that is happening.
- 1:53And then you must not try to shut your eyes.
- 1:55When something does not appear Pleasant to you.
- 1:58You must keep them wide open and put each thing in that way.
- 2:02Before the screen, then you make quite an interesting discovery.
- 2:08And then the next step is to begin saying, since all that is
- 2:12happening within me, why should I not put this thing in this
- 2:16way? And then that thing in that way.
- 2:18And then there's other in this other way and thus, wouldn't I
- 2:23be doing something logical that has a meaning.
- 2:27Why should I not remove that thing?
- 2:28Which stands obstructing the way?
- 2:30These conflicting Wheels why and what does that represent in the
- 2:35being? Why is it there?
- 2:39If it were put there, what did not help instead of harming me
- 2:43and so on and little by little little by little you see
- 2:49clearer. And then you see why you are
- 2:52made like that. What is the thing you have got
- 2:55to do that for, which you were born and then quite naturally,
- 3:02since all is organized for this thing to come, the path becomes
- 3:06straight. And you can Beforehand.
- 3:10It is in this way that it will happen.
- 3:13And when things come from outside to try and upset, all
- 3:16that you are able to say, no, I accept this for it helps.
- 3:21I reject that for that harms, and then after a few years, you
- 3:28curb yourself, as you curb a horse, you do whatever you like
- 3:33in the way you like, and you go wherever you like, It seems to
- 3:39me this is worth the trouble, I believe it is the most
- 3:43interesting thing. End quote, reference SRI
