- 0:00[SPEAKER_01]: All right, what up, everyone?
- 0:01[SPEAKER_01]: We are live NFL fantasy today show.
- 0:03[SPEAKER_01]: I'm your host, John Mocells or John Mocells.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_01]: I got Patrick Leary here.
- 0:08[SPEAKER_01]: Sporty, those production and fades fancy football season.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_01]: We're ramping up, mocked your halfs are filling up quickly.
- 0:15[SPEAKER_01]: Patrick, what's shaking?
- 0:18[SPEAKER_00]: Ah, not much.
- 0:19[SPEAKER_00]: I got a couple of drafts that weren't in my final rookie draft right now about to wrap it up.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_00]: Been mocking quite a bit.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_00]: doing some bestball lying at some time.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I got a lot of lot of balls in the air.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, nice.
- 0:35[SPEAKER_01]: Let's talk to your rookie draft because I did one kind of two.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_01]: What pick did you have and how did it go?
- 0:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I won't, man.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_00]: So well, I had the tenth pick.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_00]: I had the tenth pick in a one quarterback and not much draft capital besides that.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_00]: And for some reason, the way the board just shook out, I was able to get a boooka at one ten.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_00]: I was currently like trade up constantly.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_00]: But I need throughout the whole time couldn't pull anything off and then finally just kind of sat there and had a boooka fall to ten in a one quarterback, which is to me is from posture.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_00]: So I had them fall like
- 1:09[SPEAKER_00]: pretty far in a super flex league earlier this summer, but yeah, Abuka at one ten right now is crazy to me.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_00]: He'd be he'd be sixth probably for me in one quarterback.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_00]: So I was trying to go up like constantly and then he just ended up falling which is amazing.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_01]: So let's just keep going in.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_01]: So John, John, he goes first obviously.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_00]: And then Hampton Hampton was second and then kind of a little may be a little surprising, but now it's super surprising, a trivia on Henderson was third.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, wow.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't know if that is kind of what triggered it, but then the guy at four decided to take Caleb Johnson.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if he had, I'm trying to remember, I don't know if he had multiple picks or he was just like, oh my god, I gotta get a running back.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_00]: So he took Caleb Johnson so that was super weird and then so so I'm sitting at ten and and you know Hunter and McMillan are still there at five and I like couldn't believe it.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_00]: So that's when I start just like anybody I can try to like message like please please let me move up because that's insane that these guys are still there.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so I had a one with Rick right super superplex I took cat second like is that
- 2:24[SPEAKER_00]: I took Ted's second in the superflex as well.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_00]: Now, I'd Bryce Young on that team, which helped us a tiebreaker.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_00]: I was trying to trade up to two for Hampton for a good amount of time.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_00]: I had a huge running back need and Hampton's been the buzz on him all summer's been great.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_00]: And it's very clear that Nadja Harris might not be able to see.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_00]: So it's definitely been like a huge contributing factor for him.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Ted is, I think, totally defensible one, two, and basically any format.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_00]: So he's there at five.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_00]: So I keep trying to trade up.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't work.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_00]: He goes five.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_00]: Then the sixth pick was actually RJ Harvey, which was pretty crazy.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_00]: Was that already five stuff, right?
- 3:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, for sure.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_00]: But I just think like everyone was like, oh my god, I gotta get it running back, get it running back.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_00]: Hunter went seven and then the reason I was able to get a boooka is because for some reason, Judd can still went eighth, which to me is crazy.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_00]: Juddkins was not in consideration for me whatsoever.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_00]: At ten, I would not have taken him until maybe like the middle of the second round just because I
- 3:38[SPEAKER_00]: his situation is really impressive in it and when I'm trying to avoid like it all costs right now and then close and up and went ninth and so I just was able to get a mecha bouquet tenth and I could not believe it and it was just like all right this is amazing
- 3:54[SPEAKER_01]: So, yeah, so one of the things we want to talk about difference between dynasty and redraft.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_01]: So, um, this is notquisitionally.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_01]: Is there much difference like running back, well, first wide receiver, because obviously the shelf life's on running back or shorter?
- 4:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think it's a really interesting conversation now.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_00]: Like a year ago, I would have told you that I, one hundred percent target wide receivers because of the shelf life.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_00]: But then last year we had a massive running back renaissance in in fanciful ball especially among running backs who would kind of be considered like dust ball dynasty assets with Derek Henry being the best example Derek Henry was a like a thirty year old running back last year now obviously he's an incredible outliers a player but
- 4:39[SPEAKER_00]: running backs that are old within twenty eight their dynasty value is super super difficult to pin down but Joe Nixon was excellent last year as an older running their obviously sake one with the historic season that he had.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_01]: So I think good, Jacob was good.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Jacob.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_01]: I'll slide all the games.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, Aaron Jones is a great example.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_00]: He was cut by his by his team at twenty eight and came back and had a great famed season last year.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_00]: And so I think that the
- 5:10[SPEAKER_00]: The debate has become more of a debate because I, I scrolled the target wide receivers like this team that I just got a boog on my last three first round picks.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_00]: We're Drake London, Jordan Addison, and Lab McConkey.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_00]: And, and I feel amazing about the wide receiver room I've been able to build over the last four years.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_00]: Running back is a little riskier and a little less, uh, a little more volatile inherently, um, you know.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_00]: Even, you know, situation is always a huge factor and if you somehow get a running back that just doesn't really pan out, that can be a really huge whiff.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_00]: And it's probably less prevalent with first round wide receivers.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_00]: But I think, I tend to target wider receivers just because get a really nice shelf life and I think you can do a lot easier of sort of long-term situational and performance projection where it's running back changes so much year to year that I think it's kind of hard to value a guy like maybe RJ Harvey's like a really good example because he's about to walk into a really good Denver Broncos situation.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_01]: One of the best in the league, right?
- 6:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and one of the most open in the league, too, which is, I think, a huge deal.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, they brought Dobbins in shortly after the draft, but I think, I mean, Sean Payton is, you know, legendary for his album, Kamera support in the fantasy community.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_00]: you know, that's what people are seeing and and latching onto with Harvey, but Harvey's also twenty four.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_00]: And if Harvey isn't good in the first like nine weeks of the season, then the window for a second round running back, who would be twenty five in his second year, that like really contracts really fast.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_00]: And so I kind of just preferred to go off like young.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry, is it like a precedent for that?
- 7:00[SPEAKER_01]: Is that based on anything?
- 7:02[SPEAKER_00]: Well, so if you just think about it, like, I actually, so something that, you know, you don't really factor in and redraft it.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_00]: I think that I tend to factor in dynasty a lot is contract situations.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_00]: James Cook's a great example because
- 7:18[SPEAKER_00]: I traded James Cook earlier this off season because I did not think the bills were going to sign James Cook to a contract extension, which they did today.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_00]: And that's, I think massively bullish for James Cook to be able to sit in that bill's situation for essentially his entire time as a dynasty asset, right?
- 7:37[SPEAKER_00]: Because at the end of that contract, he'll probably be like, twenty nine.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_00]: Ish, depending on when they decide to cut him if it's, if they let him play out full finger.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_00]: So what did you get for cook?
- 7:48[SPEAKER_00]: I got Caleb Johnson, which I feel great about, um, Jesus.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's good.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_00]: It's good swap.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_01]: So I, so I'm at the other way.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_00]: So it was the one ten, um, was the pick that I got and I used it on Caleb Johnson because Harvey had gone.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_00]: And he was the last of the running backs, the six running backs that was stolen the board there at ten when I did it in the summer.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_00]: Um, so cook.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_00]: I felt good.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_00]: It's been,
- 8:16[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, it's a trade that's gone well for me.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_00]: Basically until today.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: And now I feel and and also the Caleb Johnson buzz of the last like we can have is not good.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_00]: I like Caleb and a lot.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_00]: So I've just felt well, see, I love Jalen Warren and in redraft this year.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, but
- 8:37[SPEAKER_00]: I think Caleb Johnson maybe long-term is better, but I was kind of assuming Cook would be a free agent because I was thinking his demands of the bills will not be met.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_00]: And now that they've been met, that's a less positive trade for me, I would say, because that's a great situation, just be locked into.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_01]: So let's say you tried to trade James Cook today and you had him.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_01]: Well, how much different would the market be?
- 9:02[SPEAKER_01]: Like, could you just stay with the rookie running backs?
- 9:04[SPEAKER_01]: Like, could you?
- 9:05[SPEAKER_01]: You couldn't get Hampton, right?
- 9:07[SPEAKER_00]: No, I think it would be around what it was when I did it because it's swung positive for me for basically the four months since I did it, because you have to end up.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think it's probably mostly gone.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_00]: I think it could probably be about the same now because it was about it was like a minor loss for me when I did it, but I was like, I meant to spading that it would be good for me quickly.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_00]: And it became like a
- 9:33[SPEAKER_00]: a little bit more major win for the four months, but now I bet it swings back because Coke has locked in.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_00]: I do think Coke is kind of a fade for some people redraft this year because his touchdowns were so insane last year, and he's definitely a touchdown regression guide, but I believe in a dynasty perspective, it's a huge win for Coke, obviously, to get that contract.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_01]: So this is what I really understand, right?
- 9:57[SPEAKER_01]: So he updons and rookie sure bits per go line is okay, but like games cook was tied for the league and rushing touchdowns.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_01]: It's a run heavy team.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_01]: He's got out and they've got one of the best old lines in the league.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_01]: They're a great team, so they're going to be up and running a lot like
- 10:12[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to get probably what three more elite seasons from cook and we don't even know kill don't some might not be good so that they don't understand the disconnect between the use.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_00]: I think the thing with cook is that is he really that good or did he just score an insane amount of touchdowns and never be able to score again last year.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_00]: And that's where it's like kind of the middle ground, right?
- 10:36[SPEAKER_00]: Like he's been a solid fancy contributor, but his first two years, the wrap on him was that he couldn't score touchdowns.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_00]: And then last year it comes all the way around.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_00]: And so the answer is probably now somewhere in between.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_01]: Sure, but he scored two, two seasons ago.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_01]: He scored sixteen last season.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_01]: Even if he scores ten, eight to ten, like, yeah, Kail Johnson is not going to score eight to ten.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_01]: That's fantastic.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I don't think so.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_00]: It's definitely more of a long-term bet.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_00]: And I think Warren, especially with how stuff has been unfolding and with Aaron Rogers, I think Warren is going to be quite a focal point of that offense.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so that's, it's just, I'm a little newer to Dynastie, I mostly read your app guy.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_01]: It just, it's just weird to me that the emphasis on youth, especially even when you're building a team, you know, you're not building your team for five years out, right?
- 11:26[SPEAKER_01]: You're usually, and like the season and trying to maybe contend the next season if you pop, right?
- 11:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_00]: two to three year window is usually what what the rule of thumb is for for dynasty commerce.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like cook is right in the window and it just I don't know it just it just seems weird to me like names cook now that he signed I honestly he's a top by running back to me.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, now that he signed I think the sandwich it might take the sentiment.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_00]: a little bit while to adjust, but yeah, I mean, that's it's a huge deal for him to sign there for sure.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, because if he just been a free agent and landed in any old running of that situation, I just think he's he's regular enough of a player that I don't think that would have been an attractive asset permit all if he didn't stay there.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_00]: But now that he's like plugged into the bills thing, they show him that faith.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_00]: That's like a huge swing forward for him obviously.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and it's just as the bills have also like put an emphasis on running, right?
- 12:20[SPEAKER_01]: I think they were taught by a run pass splits, right?
- 12:24[SPEAKER_01]: They don't really go down field.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_01]: So they get in there.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, obviously, Alives are going to run in a ton, but yeah, that's that is a balance.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_00]: But I also think like Ray Davis to your point, Ray Davis is a really interesting like standalone player this year, even though obviously cook will be the the number one running back there and just got paid.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_00]: I think Ray Davis even like as like a not even a handcuff.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_00]: Like I think he's kind of like a super handcuff because I I meant and he's gonna get a lot of work.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_00]: He looked great whenever he got a lot of opportunity last year.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and that's why everyone thought they'd let coupe because like Ray Davis, who probably gave you seventy percent of what he does at a fraction of the cops, right?
- 12:59[SPEAKER_01]: So these super handcuffs, I like that.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_01]: So what are the other ones?
- 13:02[SPEAKER_01]: Like I like Rico Dattle.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_01]: Carolina.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I think if you can if you can with confidence predict whoever the Niners
- 13:11[SPEAKER_00]: And I guess that's the opposite, right, is because like, that's more of an injury situation, but like, you're just not handcuffed.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's much more of a traditional thing.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_01]: I was a little bit uncharminated and Seattle.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_00]: Charminate, um, Charminate is interesting because he would have been much more of a traditional hand handcuff in recent years with how the sea ox have done.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_00]: I think the sea ox will be much more careful with Kenneth Walker this year.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_00]: Um, if you're looking at kind of how they've been managing him in practice lately.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_00]: They've essentially been treating a sore foot like a serious ankle injury or something.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_00]: And just like totally limiting limiting his practice reps, I think probably in an effort to just try to maximize his health situation.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_00]: So Charbon A is definitely one that could see quite a boost.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_00]: I'm trying to think of another good example of that.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_00]: I imagine the Rams are going to keep using current Williams, like a gigantic volume guy, so that's probably not a good sample.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_01]: But he's just not explosive, right?
- 14:11[SPEAKER_01]: Wait, Ray, it isn't only his loyalty to winning, right?
- 14:14[SPEAKER_01]: he had tried to trade staff heard it like iron i think he's longest run uh... no touchdown run was thirteen yards as long as run thirty seven yards uh... i mean playcorm didn't look good but the other new guy happy is it have your vascas hunter no dracas hunter that was close but if they do so a little bit of explosiveness right and kind of it's not really good receiving the ball so i know he just he seems like a guy who could get cut and uh...
- 14:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because he, but if he plays, he's going to be top ten running back because we just, yeah, I mean, run it.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_00]: He, he got money, a couple weeks later, they get money.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_00]: So he'll probably be in trench there, but yeah, I mean, it's, that kind of situation where the second, they don't like give him ninety percent of the work.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_00]: It becomes interesting because that's a really valuable backfield.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_00]: That was a, that was a good, good call out, I think.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_00]: You can see worked in in that first preseason game.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_00]: He got
- 15:07[SPEAKER_00]: a good amount of reps in in a complimentary role.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_00]: So I think that's definitely fascinating.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_00]: And that often should be better as well.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_01]: I want to go back to kind of the dinacy read draft values.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_01]: So like, let's say that's it.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_01]: Safe one.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_01]: So let's say it a full of dinacy draft.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_01]: Where's Safe on going?
- 15:22[SPEAKER_01]: Is he like a third round guy?
- 15:23[SPEAKER_01]: Is the age?
- 15:27[SPEAKER_00]: Are you talking?
- 15:28[SPEAKER_00]: Are you saying one quarterback or superficed?
- 15:29[SPEAKER_00]: Because I would solve.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, what sort of back one quarter?
- 15:32[SPEAKER_00]: Um, one quarter back.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_00]: I would say, say corn is probably a second rounder.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, a second rounder.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_01]: But is so what which rookie running backs are going ahead of them?
- 15:41[SPEAKER_00]: And then that may mince and yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
- 16:01[SPEAKER_00]: But if you're approaching it from like, I'm trying to put the best team I can together in this dynasty draft right now.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_00]: Then I have two seasons.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I think Sakewon is still in front of Travy on an in the air guard, but you know, if it's more of a, if this team's nuts to me, like, Sakewon just has one of the best running back seasons all the time.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_01]: Fair enough Henderson might not even be good.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_01]: Like, just the Delta is too big for me.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_01]: I don't hang it around my head around.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_00]: Travy on Anderson looks amazing, though.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's part of it.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he had that kick return in the, in the, in the, the preseason game, and then, you know, any time you're seeing these highlights of him, that's like a wide receiver and practice, like just going up and like malls and dudes, like on Drake, May throws.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_00]: It's crazy.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_00]: So I think he looks amazing, but yeah, I think the, the line is like kind of right there.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_00]: the sort of dynasty ranking line is like, say, Juan, it depends how far you want to slide down a guy who's twenty-eight at the running back position, but yeah, I think it's definitely a, it's a, it's a, it's a, your mileage may vary.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_00]: It's, it's the kind of things.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_00]: I think Traveon and Traveon and say Juan, especially with kind of the hype that Traveon has gotten over the last month or so, Traveon and say Juan is like a very interesting,
- 17:24[SPEAKER_00]: very balanced debate.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's like free even on either side says so the super flexly guy.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_01]: I'm in with Rick.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_01]: I have say one, but I'm probably not going to contend because I picked up a team.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_01]: And so there's a guy that got he is C. Onty.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_01]: He just got like all these great rookies, Ganna Boo.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_01]: He got Cam Ward.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_01]: I think.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_01]: It was like four rookies that were awesome.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, I want all of them except for Jaddi.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_01]: And he hasn't responded back to me.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_01]: Because I don't still don't really get, you know.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_01]: The court.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_00]: That says, say, one's a great sell if you don't think your team's very good.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_00]: I think this is the perfect time to sell.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_00]: Say, one would be literally the next three weeks.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_01]: Let's just stand these rookie running backs.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_01]: Like, so, date on blue.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_01]: I took him second pick, second round.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_01]: He got like terrible buzz about maybe a few weeks ago that he was lazy.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_01]: But now he kind of getting the first team reps.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_01]: I think we used this road article.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_01]: You said Miles Sanders is going to be the running back.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_00]: with AIR.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_00]: That is interesting.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_00]: That's a really interesting running back situation.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm very anti-Jumontae Williams, just DJ.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_00]: What I worry about with that backfield right now is Sanders and Blue are both dealing with injuries.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, sure.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_00]: And so I don't know really what to make of it because you don't have like a running back.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_00]: That is much to right home about in the lead spot.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_00]: And then you've got these two guys who might be able to make an impact and look injured.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_00]: And then there's the rumors out there that the cowboys are going to go look to maybe try to get somebody and bring them in.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_00]: And so that's a real messy backfield.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's probably worth taking a shot.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_00]: Miles Sanders, I liked a lot more before he came out that he's dealing in the injury.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's probably a better running guy than Chavante Williams, but if Chavante Williams is the guy that's there and is getting reps,
- 19:31[SPEAKER_00]: I think I probably would lean Jbante Williams, but if you want to go into the rest of the Cowboys, I mean, I think that passing offense is going to be just, they're going to throw so much and they're going to be in high scoring games probably.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that's, that's going to be like an offense that's just a perfect thing to exploit with basically everything that they have that's draftable.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_01]: And then so the the mecha parses news will probably sign him but like you see the only maybe defensive player that would move the needle on offense because if they trade him they're not going to get anything you know comparable and there I think the defense is like twenty eight last year so it would obviously be close to what that again without Parsons so Where do you have like so lamb where's lamb for you?
- 20:19[SPEAKER_01]: He's probably about twenty six
- 20:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, uh, are you starting to dynasty for?
- 20:23[SPEAKER_00]: I don't understand that.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, uh, Lam's I have Lam third.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_00]: I don't, um, I understand the the sentiment of like guys that are not lamb, Chase and Jefferson potentially being better like a Malik neighbors who
- 20:39[SPEAKER_00]: Send an amazing rookie season or a Brian Thomas similar similar argument, but I'm firmly lamb third.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_00]: I just think those guys are by far the most talented and productive wide receivers and so on.
- 20:53[SPEAKER_01]: You think that the like that tear above and just tell them like neighbors, Thomas, Nico's my guy.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_01]: I mean the key vis situation.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think yeah well neighbors neighbors is interesting right because neighbors is injured again.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_00]: And he like was amazing last year, but then just had like three or four little hiccups where he would like miss time or it's slowing down.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_00]: And he's in that offense where it's like there's not a lot of margin for margin for error because that offense doesn't really.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_00]: Um, produce much and doesn't project, produce any more this year.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_00]: Um, yeah.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I think neighbors could easily walk into being the best receiver in the league this year.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_00]: And then obviously he comes number one in dynasty, but I've just the that top three that's going top six in the redraft right now with the other three running backs.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_00]: Um, are just like I think for in dynasty, I'm the same.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_00]: I just think those guys are that they're in their prime.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_00]: They're the top of the game.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_00]: And I think lamb really
- 21:53[SPEAKER_00]: has the easiest volume case this year too.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_00]: So I think that's the other thing.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, well, I'm in case, right?
- 22:00[SPEAKER_00]: Like, it's hard to argue with Chase, but especially in comparison to like Jefferson, I think Lam is gonna, Lam is just gonna get the ball all the time.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I, when I wrote about it in an hour to call, I said like two hundred targets is not a crazy thing.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_00]: He had like a hundred eighty two years ago when he was healthy with DAC, and I don't, you know.
- 22:20[SPEAKER_00]: they don't they don't have anything I pickens is going to be a great addition for them he's like going to be a supercharged
- 22:27[SPEAKER_00]: Um, wider silver to that they really need, but I mean, it's going to be land show there and and he's going to be at the ball constantly.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_01]: I got a question right and we get to one second.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_01]: I just want so how does the other the age of the other positional players like that's thirty two?
- 22:43[SPEAKER_01]: That's not that's fine, probably, right?
- 22:45[SPEAKER_01]: For, you know, we're in with that, but like Kuka was Stafford.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_01]: If you're going after Puka and Dynasty in Stafford's thirty eight and already hurt,
- 22:52[SPEAKER_01]: Are you worried about the next couple of years?
- 22:54[SPEAKER_01]: Not even just this year.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_01]: If they don't, if they have Jamie or they don't get a QB, including their production, where like a Nico, you haven't seen Jay Stroud for ten years.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_00]: So I currently prefer, I didn't have this in my ranks when I published them a little while ago.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_00]: I currently, I think, prefer Nico to Puka.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_00]: And it's what you said, because obviously the staff at situation is very interesting.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_00]: The Stafford shelf life is also very short regardless of what happens with the current situation.
- 23:28[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think it's, I don't think he's expected to play more than maybe another two years, including the subcoming year, who knows exactly both.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the stuff around this back situation is not promising.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and yeah, I mean, I think though, obviously he plays for Sean V. So look right, probably figure something out.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_00]: But I've just been really rising on Nico Collins, uh, throughout the set.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_00]: I think I'm a, I'm a big fan.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's just an absolute, um, you know, dynamal of a player like he, he just, when you watch him play, he just absolutely pops off the screen.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_00]: He, he, he's unreal.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_00]: And, and, and that team is set up to give him the ball.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_00]: Like I mean, that's the, that's the moon.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_00]: I know Puka.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_00]: his time here's crazy.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I know he gets the ball a lot to the Monta Adams.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_00]: I think we'll definitely be a factor there this year.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_00]: And I worry a little bit, Puka.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_00]: Nico Collins a little bit similar in this regard, but slightly better, whereas you just look at Puka and it's like, okay, this guy that's had had like an amazing rookie season.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_00]: And when he was healthy last year was also amazing.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_00]: but his kind of the peripherals of like what it took to get him there where he was like a very late round pick.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_00]: So he's a day three pick.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_00]: He had that knee injury for a lot of last season.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_01]: He's in the end of week one.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_00]: I was kind of nagging, nagging for him.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_00]: And so and he's not extended obviously.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_00]: Now obviously he's a slam dunk extension candidate if he
- 24:58[SPEAKER_00]: has a great year this year and he probably will have a great year, but I just feel more comfortable and Nico Collins has a huge extension in Houston and Stroud is going to be his quarterback for a long time.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_00]: So I like, I don't know what a better.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_01]: I just set away for two seconds.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_01]: So you can read the question and then we're going to have to help you back.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, beach on London stack.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I would say that if I would not avoid London just because you have beach on your team.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I really think if there's one team that can credibly do, um, the running back, uh, wider sea or stack with very little
- 25:46[SPEAKER_00]: competition, it'd be Atlanta.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_00]: London is by far the wide receiver one there.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_00]: B. John is an absolute amazing running back talent.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_00]: Like I respect for Tyler Alger, but you know, those B. John and London are going to be like massive massive volume players in that offense.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_00]: So
- 26:06[SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't worry about that stack necessarily.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the thing that you, I guess, would be more of a concern is, like, if Michael Penex has our injury issues, because he does have his story significant injury issues and when he was in college, but I don't think Michael Penex is going to have any issues getting B-John and London the ball.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_00]: I would say it's the rest of that offense that I would be
- 26:34[SPEAKER_00]: like not sure what to do with, but I would not worry about stacking those two because they're excellent.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_01]: It says would you draft flattened in or pass and drop down in here and recover to avoid that stack mean three heap or twelve minute PPR.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_00]: No, if it's a PPR too, like home is going to get so much ball.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I guess like it depends with dropping down a tier means like if it's a guy that I would consider to be in like a similar tier, but London's just he's he's excellent.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_00]: He's like a super safe early second on paper for for me right now.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think you know, I haven't think about it.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_01]: You can get break line and you just get them.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_01]: Just do it.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_00]: Now I'm performed a like Nico, like if Nico was in consideration, but I'm sure you're not.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_00]: It's a it's a key league.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure somebody's got Nico much cheaper from like a legacy thing or something.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, there was an A day Brown London easy for me, especially the the bump that London got when the panics was in like, I wait, run up was like four more targets is like,
- 27:34[SPEAKER_00]: and he's going to throw in the ball so often and really like Mooney's hurt.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_00]: He'll probably be back and in the lineup, but it's going to be why that delay.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_01]: Do you see the blurb?
- 27:47[SPEAKER_01]: Where he Morris said he's going to play at some point in twenty twenty five.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I did see that.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_00]: That is not that is a bearish, I would say.
- 27:55[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we want guarantees for a little earlier than at some point.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so let's say on this guy dying to see redraft so later in your draft how does that affect how your your goat like drafting are you taking yeah like we more did's what like okay, what's a good call prayer like like if you're saying like guys are really interesting like a late round pick
- 28:19[SPEAKER_00]: like a Christian Kirk, who goes like maybe in perfect.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_00]: Like the eleventh round or something, it's very busy.
- 28:26[SPEAKER_00]: It's absolutely perfect.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_01]: So Kirk versus the two jailens, they look like same school, right?
- 28:31[SPEAKER_01]: But on Houston, the rookies, you're taking one of those guys over Kirk, right?
- 28:34[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, easily.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, that, that is a great.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_00]: That is a great.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_00]: I walked myself into that dress.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_00]: I was like the two jailens.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, oh, duh, they just drafted two rookies.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I would say yeah, that's that's a great comparison because like Kirk, I think in a in a redraf league that doesn't have any sort of long term considerations Kirk would be a really interesting guy that you could maybe stick in your lineup early in the season very cheaply and and get some good volume especially in like a PPR league because it probably played a slot catch some balls
- 29:10[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I also think though that obviously Higgins and Noel are much more interesting times to ask.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_00]: It's Kirk's, you know, Kirk's coming off with a knee injury.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_00]: He's, he's, I think he's twenty nine now.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_01]: Is he really?
- 29:23[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 29:23[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_01]: I'd have to look it up.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_01]: Let's see.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_01]: I have a, I have a. So yeah, we're a writer says he almost traded Chase Brown for Nico, but the other guy back there last minute.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_00]: So that only one thing.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_00]: Kirk is twenty eight.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_00]: I had Nico Collins on a taxi squad for two years, and I gave him away in a quarterback swap, right before he busted the broke out.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_00]: That was extremely painful for me, but I made up for it by taking him whenever I can now, because I just think he's undeniably awesome.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I have him in that tier, like with the lamb, Geperson, Chase, I think he's maybe a slight town downgrade, but I mean, the Straud Cube over McCarthy's huge.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, Jack Straud's probably pretty close, give Jack the edge, bro, the edge, but it might be even, sorry, I've been arguing on neighbor's versus Nico, and for me, you just like, neighbors might be a little bit better, but the QB difference is just so massive, like I'm not even thinking about it, I'm thinking Nico.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_00]: I've Nico at seven in, uh, in redraft.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_00]: I have Nico, like, it's that top six, which is, is obvious.
- 30:31[SPEAKER_00]: It's, yeah, Chase Lamb, Jefferson, and then B. John, Sequon, and, uh, Gibbs.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_00]: And I have Nico seven.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's, I think he's seven.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's perfect.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_01]: Oh man, right?
- 30:42[SPEAKER_01]: Or you believe you're blowing us up here.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_01]: I think that taste brown can be kept for two years.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_01]: He's Nico, eleven last year, he can be kept.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_01]: But I loved taste brown.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm actually writing up a thing, my guys and taste browns in there, right?
- 30:55[SPEAKER_01]: I think he was the RB four weeks like nine to seventeen.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be his past heavy offense.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_01]: He's great dual threat.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_01]: He like, if you look at the top five running backs in fancy points for game, I think four of them were in the top five four receiving.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, he's proud, but he's not quite in the Nico category, but that's what all what's his ADP right now Chase Brown I think he's like thirty five nice like a was you a mid third now.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_00]: He's a guy I think who goes higher and best ball thing does in in like
- 31:29[SPEAKER_00]: Redraft homelinks he'd be he's a easy third run pick from one eight he's sorry, it's one eight clean.
- 31:33[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so that's early third.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so that's another good comp.
- 31:36[SPEAKER_01]: So let's say if case Brown and Nico were on the same level you take Nico though just because the longevity of a wide receiver.
- 31:44[SPEAKER_00]: For sure, yeah.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_00]: I actually have a new dinosaur team that I've drafted, like three months ago, and I have both in them on that team.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_00]: And Nico was my second rampic, and Chase Brown was my fifth rampic, I believe.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_01]: So where's where's the line where you take the running back over Niko so like John John I'll never get it right.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_01]: Genity.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_01]: Genity versus Niko in dynasty you're taking Genity first.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_00]: That is a great question.
- 32:20[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think I probably take genty just because I think that that's us that's just like even if it's not the most amazing situation for for year one I think
- 32:35[SPEAKER_00]: Gentie has so much helium in his value in the community that you kind of just about it.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_01]: I've never heard that before.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no, he's just like so many people deserve zest with him.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_00]: Like he was he was the he was the nailed on one on one this year.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_00]: Like I'm sure I'm sure there were some dynasty drafts where he didn't go one on one, but, you know, similar to what Bijan was two years ago, he was absolutely no question one on one.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_00]: And so that
- 33:02[SPEAKER_00]: will stay with you.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_00]: Like, Bijon was very good as a rookie, but he wasn't like unbelievable.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_00]: But he's never really lost his value.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_00]: And obviously helped greatly by backing it up with an excellent year, too.
- 33:18[SPEAKER_00]: But Pagenti will hold that value for quite a long time.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, I think he's he's over Nico for me in that kind of conversation, but I don't like to take huge running backs, swings, and dynasty.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_00]: I kind of prefer to kind of prefer to go to the quarter, the wide receiver route if it's a one quarterback and if it's a super flex quarterback and wide receiver.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_01]: So let's talk to you at QB.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_01]: So let's say it's one QB dynasty.
- 33:46[SPEAKER_01]: Where is shade and Daniel's going?
- 33:48[SPEAKER_01]: Is he is he a first round pick?
- 33:50[SPEAKER_01]: Is he like second?
- 33:51[SPEAKER_01]: Is he the first QB going?
- 33:53[SPEAKER_01]: I think you had him one, right?
- 33:55[SPEAKER_00]: I have him three, I think.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_00]: We talked about it.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_00]: Actually, I had him two and then you like talked me into.
- 34:03[SPEAKER_00]: We talked me into like little Mars, like what is Lamar?
- 34:06[SPEAKER_00]: Why isn't Lamar?
- 34:07[SPEAKER_00]: But you're probably right about Lamar.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_00]: Um, so that that league, um, that I started three months ago, um, when we did the rookie track or the, um, the startup draft, um, it started Allen, Jaden Lamar.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_00]: Um, very much.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_01]: We can superfly, correct?
- 34:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, superfly.
- 34:26[SPEAKER_00]: So Jaden was a second pick.
- 34:29[SPEAKER_00]: not totally sure what that would look like in a rookie draft or in a startup for a one quarterback, like where that would go.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_00]: I think a good example of what that looks like though is I'm going to one quarterback to honesty, yeah, League, I'm in.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_00]: I think severely undervalues a quarterbacks, but I like camward who was probably like in a super flex league was around like the one five, one six.
- 34:57[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not about taking on two.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, and I think totally legitimate conversation to have because I think the buzz on him is really good.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_00]: And I think he's, you know, he's the first overall pick and the NFL draft, which carries some inherent value even if he's, you know, not one of the stronger first overall picks we've had in a while.
- 35:17[SPEAKER_00]: But so this one quarterback rookie draft and doing right now, Cam Ward went two nine to an auto drafter.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_00]: And he was going after like guys like like all the Gordon went before cam board, which is just insane to me.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_00]: Like I had all the Gordon's the third running back on the Dolphins and and when I heard it cam board.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_00]: And I think it's just purely kind of like a scarcity conversation.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's really hard to value corebacks in a league where everyone's got like a nice
- 35:50[SPEAKER_00]: even sort of dispersal of the quarterbacks.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_00]: I don't, I think everyone in this league is fairly balanced from a quarterbacks standpoint.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_00]: And so I don't think there's anyone who has like a huge need.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_00]: But, but camo word is going to be way more valuable than, then, you know, they'll see where I'm in that.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_00]: They'll only Gordon exactly.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_00]: But people are just preferring to take running back shots right now in that format, because that's like the most valuable position when it's contributing.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so this is great.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_01]: So because QBs can play forever.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_01]: So in one QB league, a dynasty, like a full, full, you know, reboot, where's he going?
- 36:24[SPEAKER_01]: Like he's he going ahead of Dak Prescott is thirty two.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's a good question.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_00]: Where where's Cam Ward in relation to he is ahead of Dak Prescott?
- 36:35[SPEAKER_00]: I let me see it.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just see where I have the moment here.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_01]: because for redrap, I think he's like the QB- twenty six or something like that.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, he's in the early twenty's deck is definitely going ahead of him in redrap deck is that's up a he's he's like they call it window QB he's like right at the like the zone where you're like one of the last guy's drafting a quarterback that's around where that goes where it came inwards like QB-two in redrap, but I have I have came over nineteen in deck twenty
- 37:09[SPEAKER_00]: on my rankings, I think consensus would have cam ward higher than DAC.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_00]: I just think DAC's going to be a really productive quarterback from the years because he's thirty-five times fast, forty-five hundred yards.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_00]: People were kind of discounting him, I think right now because of how he had the hamstring injury last year and it kept him out and he just was totally not productive last year.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_00]: So I think there's a little bit of a dip on him.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of weight too, which is probably normally scary, but Lamar did last year and he had the best year of his career, so maybe not a little bit of a trend.
- 37:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's hard to hate on a quarterback against a throw to CDLAM and like a
- 37:47[SPEAKER_00]: Vengefully motivated George Pickens.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, then blue blues a good for sea perch.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Dave Ferguson.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to tie then.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_01]: So, kiddo.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_01]: I think kiddo's thirty one.
- 37:59[SPEAKER_01]: So where does that go?
- 38:01[SPEAKER_01]: So dynasty who's going first, Tyler Warren or kiddo?
- 38:05[SPEAKER_00]: That's a perfect question for for Diane.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_00]: But if you're at it, it holds the, you nailed that.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_00]: That's like the value can under him.
- 38:12[SPEAKER_00]: So obviously, the top two tight ends in redraft are both in their early twenties.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_00]: So they're the top two in in, in, in, in, in, in, dinosauremic bride and powers.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_00]: Laporta is kind of third although I think that is potentially a, um, a fickle ranking depending on what he shows in year three because obviously he showed one of the best rookie seasons ever the best at the time until
- 38:38[SPEAKER_00]: of ours clips in last year.
- 38:40[SPEAKER_00]: And last year was much more up and down and not the kind of thing people wanted to see.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_00]: And then yeah, I think it lines up really nicely.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_00]: Kittle is the Uber productive underrated veteran versus Warren and Loveland that through like really talented looking rookie tight ends.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_00]: Um, you know, it's, it's really is kind of like a preference thing.
- 39:03[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I, if I was trying to win, I would, I would go for Kittle, even if I was trying to win the kind of soft kind of softly and not like aggressively, I think Kittle is going to absolutely smash this year.
- 39:17[SPEAKER_00]: And so his, his value is going to probably boost and then like stay the same heading into next year.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_00]: So so I would be I would be for sure in on kiddo kills that offense That offense is really interesting for fancy football this year obviously that that was one of the the offense that I wrote up They've the worst schedule in the league They have like a like an eleven win over under as a result and they have a wide receiver situation that knowing the best good lately
- 39:45[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 39:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 39:46[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry.
- 39:46[SPEAKER_00]: They have.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_00]: They playing are the worst.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_00]: They had the easiest schedule in the league.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_01]: I hate doing that.
- 39:53[SPEAKER_01]: It's like strike the schedule.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_01]: Thirty second.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_01]: Does that mean it's the thirty second easiest or hardest?
- 39:58[SPEAKER_00]: It's like when you say like a team is highly seated when they're their number one.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, well, they're technically lowly seated because they're number one.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_00]: We're moving up the draft board.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, exactly.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_00]: But no, so kiddo's opportunities wide open because that offense is going to be extremely productive, but nobody really knows what to do with their wide receiver situation.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_00]: because it's a bunch of guys like dealing with various different injuries, various different like, you know, is Joanne Jennings like a for real like locked on contributor if he's healthy is Ricky Pierce all.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_00]: What he showed last year, or is he way better because he was recovering from literally getting shot?
- 40:38[SPEAKER_00]: Or, and then IU is like a huge question mark because it doesn't look like he's going to, he looks like he's going to start season on PUP in the off play till week six at least.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_00]: And so then what happens with that because as IU come back and be instantly productive or probably more likely is it going to take him another bit of time to ramp up.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_00]: And so all that says I think kiddo I think kiddo's a smash and I think I would take kiddo over the over the rookies even though I like both of the rookies quite a lot.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_00]: Wow at dirty lot and okay, that's I just he's such a smash like he's he's yeah, no, no, he's well, we all and he like doesn't even he's he he's the most consistent touchdown scoring league to it the position which I think can can can transcend a lot of
- 41:22[SPEAKER_00]: a lack of all given formats like like hours obviously hours in mid-Bride or like PPR monsters yeah it was just you know all all around like knock down drag out amazing tight-end so okay last one of them were to wrap up so it's the Tampa Bay wide receiver room right besides for that
- 41:42[SPEAKER_01]: All right, you see, you got a book of ten.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_01]: So we got my Gavin's, who's the most consistent, wide receiver, almost in the history of fantasy football.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_01]: Chris Godwin was actually the wide receiver too in the fantasy points for game before he got hurt.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_01]: Godwin's twenty nine and a Gavin's is thirty one.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_01]: So in Dynasty, like, a Buka and Jale Mcmillan, so Buka's going way before them, obviously, right?
- 42:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so here's my, my, my list from a month ago, I have a book of seventeen.
- 42:10[SPEAKER_00]: I have Evan's, thirty five.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_01]: Wow, Boogas, seventeen.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and Godwin, forty eight, and then Jalen McMillan, who I would move up a little bit.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_00]: I have Jim McMillan beyond Godwin, but I think I maybe move him above.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, like it's the real question is what's Godwin?
- 42:30[SPEAKER_00]: Like what's Godwin's deal?
- 42:32[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, there's a lot of injuries.
- 42:36[SPEAKER_00]: Like specifically with this injury, I'm very curious what it is because I think that Bucas value was artificially suppressed by Godwin.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we're in assuming that Godwin was going to be like ready to go for week one.
- 42:52[SPEAKER_00]: He might be ready to go for a week one, but it might be much more of like a like a protracted roll out.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_00]: Like I'm not sure he's going to be ready to roll necessarily and like full strength by week one.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_00]: And I think after everything that anyone says about a book is like he's just really good.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_00]: Like everyone agrees that he's just really good.
- 43:12[SPEAKER_00]: And so I think the.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_00]: kind of sticker shock of, oh my god, he got drafted to a team that had three productive fantasy-wide receivers at points last year has basically completely worn off.
- 43:24[SPEAKER_00]: I think Evans is a really solid pick at like three, four turn in redraft, but Ibuka is the the Dynasty Smash.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_00]: I would retry Ibuka in in in in a redraft.
- 43:36[SPEAKER_00]: I think he in keys like a value in starting like the seventh round.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_00]: I know his AP like
- 43:42[SPEAKER_00]: In home leagues is somewhere in like the like the eighth or ninth, you know, ninth round.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_00]: He's like way, he's kind of like suppressed down, but like if you look at best ball drafts right now, he's just been flying up and it totally makes sense.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he's he's just going to be.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_00]: Um, he's gonna be smashed and McMillan is interesting now because I think most people assume that Godwin, Edwin, Evans are locked in and everyone agrees that book is good.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_00]: So it was very much kind of the guy out in the cold.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I, I almost would have said even though he was obviously amazing and scored a bunch of touchdowns at the end of the last year, I would say he would be like a drop candidate and dynasty and like in like May.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you would have said that after the drive would have said that.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_00]: But now I think he's like he's sneaky interesting at the end of redrafts now.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_00]: I actually think he's definitely got some upside, especially if Godwin doesn't play for like four weeks.
- 44:34[SPEAKER_01]: You know which player was on the the most rostered player on Yahoo championship teams?
- 44:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it was him.
- 44:40[SPEAKER_01]: That's just for me, Harry, so wait.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_00]: No, for sure.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_00]: But like I think everyone was just kind of assuming like, okay, well, he wasn't actually that efficient.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_00]: He just scored a bunch of touchdowns because he had opportunity and now that opportunity is totally sap like it's gone.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_00]: And now I don't think it is.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_00]: And I think he's like sneaky interesting.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_00]: Because I just like, I'm really not sure about Chris Godman.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_00]: I would not want to have him in dynasty right now because
- 45:04[SPEAKER_00]: It could really just be, it could be done if he's like not healthy enough.
- 45:08[SPEAKER_00]: He's might have to like reset somewhere else and, you know, he's almost thirty.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_00]: So I think that that would be a really tough thing for him to do.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_00]: In re-draft, making me alone, I think just became like slightly interesting, but I'm such an egg-boothed guy.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_00]: Like I'm gonna, I'm gonna lead you in like seventh round.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_00]: You better take egg-boothed guy because I'm taking him if you don't buy then.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's going to do for us.
- 45:31[SPEAKER_01]: So I've been watching make sure.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, check out the draft guide.
- 45:34[SPEAKER_01]: You can follow Patrick.

- 45:39[SPEAKER_01]: KSO.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_01]: So, okay.

- 45:56[SPEAKER_01]: And let's pass you guys any last tidbit.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_01]: You got anything?
- 45:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, draft Matthew gold.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_01]: Well, we need to talk about it.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_01]: We'll have to save.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_01]: So we're out.
- 46:04[SPEAKER_01]: So thanks guys.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_01]: Cheers.
