- 0:00Speaker 1: Tampa Bay's best music is Magic 94.9.
- 0:05Speaker 2: And welcome to a new episode of Scotty and Abby Unfiltered.
- 0:08Speaker 3: Shout out to the comments that keep the discussion going
- 0:10Speaker 3: on previous episodes.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Hey, thanks for commenting, people.
- 0:14Speaker 3: I mean, I'm going to go over some of them
- 0:15Speaker 3: based off of the last couple episodes as thought starters for,
- 0:18Speaker 3: I don't know where this conversation is going to go,
- 0:20Speaker 3: but I do want to acknowledge y'all for going ahead
- 0:22Speaker 3: and commenting because on one of the last episodes, you
- 0:25Speaker 3: and I got into the discussion about our bodies and
- 0:28Speaker 3: how we feel about them and.
- 0:30Speaker 1: I was worried what the response to that would be.
- 0:32Speaker 3: Honestly.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Was it fine?
- 0:33Speaker 2: Yeah, it was fine.
- 0:34Speaker 3: I think it was just a very valid comment. Hilla said,
- 0:37Speaker 3: the way y'all talk about your bodies makes me so sad.
- 0:39Speaker 3: I hope you can both find internal validation that a
- 0:43Speaker 3: half a pound change will no longer affect you.
- 0:47Speaker 2: And it's a valid comment.
- 0:48Speaker 1: You really want to start the podcast off on this note?
- 0:50Speaker 3: Well, I just want to acknowledge the comment right up
- 0:52Speaker 3: front because I think what's very important is, one, thank
- 0:55Speaker 3: you for that.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Two. Yeah, thanks for being a part of the discussion.
- 0:58Speaker 2: And like two, like I do love my body.
- 1:00Speaker 3: Like that's the part that if you would have asked me, gosh,
- 1:03Speaker 3: when I was, I don't know, in like middle or
- 1:04Speaker 3: high school, I did not. I was not proud of
- 1:07Speaker 3: who I was. I was not proud of how I
- 1:08Speaker 3: looked and I did not want to look in the mirror.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Now I can.
- 1:11Speaker 3: And so as these changes come, like I just I
- 1:13Speaker 3: think the conversation goes like I just have a certain
- 1:15Speaker 3: standard in my mind of where I want to be
- 1:17Speaker 3: that constantly pushes me to like, all right. Like we
- 1:20Speaker 3: were just talking to an engineer in the break room.
- 1:22Speaker 3: I was like, all right, I'm going to stay back
- 1:23Speaker 3: from like, you know, the English muffin this morning. But
- 1:26Speaker 3: that comment's very valid. Like I do have, I validate
- 1:28Speaker 3: my body and how I feel. And I keep trying
- 1:31Speaker 3: to turn up that knob. to just feel and look
- 1:34Speaker 3: my best for myself.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Yeah, well, also, I really wish we had pushed. I
- 1:37Speaker 1: thought we were going to be more fun. I was like, yee-haw,
- 1:39Speaker 1: let's get in the pod. And I'm like, now we're
- 1:41Speaker 1: getting into, like, the weeds again.
- 1:42Speaker 2: We don't have to. I mean, we don't have to.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Well, the last couple pods have been kind of depressing.
- 1:44Speaker 1: I mean, Dolly Parton died. Now we're talking about body
- 1:46Speaker 1: image and death.
- 1:48Speaker 2: We'll get into something positive in just a second.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Yeah, but I also think, so if you missed that episode,
- 1:52Speaker 1: it was... What was the episode? Was it last episode
- 1:55Speaker 1: or the episode before that?
- 1:56Speaker 2: It was the episode before the last.
- 1:58Speaker 1: It was the episode before the last one. So go
- 2:00Speaker 1: back two episodes. We were talking about body image and
- 2:02Speaker 1: basically somebody had made a comment to you about your
- 2:04Speaker 1: man boobs and made a joke about your boobs jiggling.
- 2:09Speaker 1: And then I said something because this is the unfiltered podcast.
- 2:12Speaker 1: I said, what's an unfiltered thought for my mind that
- 2:14Speaker 1: I want to say right now? And basically it was,
- 2:16Speaker 1: do you also feel overstimulated by your body? And that
- 2:19Speaker 1: was the only thing that we were talking about was
- 2:21Speaker 1: just sometimes, like, when you feel different than you normally do,
- 2:24Speaker 1: it's an overstimulating experience.
- 2:27Speaker 3: Yes.
- 2:27Speaker 1: It's not, oh, my God, a half pound makes me
- 2:29Speaker 1: feel like I hate myself. It's just sometimes it's like, oh,
- 2:32Speaker 1: these jeans feel a little bit tighter. That doesn't make
- 2:33Speaker 1: me feel great. Yeah. It doesn't mean my day is ruined.
- 2:36Speaker 1: My life is ruined. I'm now going to go four
- 2:38Speaker 1: days without eating. It's just sometimes when you have a
- 2:41Speaker 1: couple of days where you eat more than you normally would,
- 2:44Speaker 1: you feel a little bit.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Overwhelm strong word overstimulated that's like the best way like
- 2:51Speaker 1: right now so for example i've been eating and drinking
- 2:53Speaker 1: for three days straight and i can tell that i'm
- 2:56Speaker 1: puffy but that's that's all in my head i'm like
- 2:59Speaker 1: this is just a little bit of puff i feel
- 3:00Speaker 1: a little bit i don't feel great i normally feel
- 3:03Speaker 1: better when i get to eat my normal routine and
- 3:05Speaker 1: that's it.
- 3:05Speaker 3: Yeah i like that because that's a better way to
- 3:07Speaker 3: praise it it's like i do feel overstimulated and now
- 3:10Speaker 3: at this point in the game like i know the
- 3:11Speaker 3: ways to get back to okay i feel good like
- 3:14Speaker 3: i feel good when i walk around not in like
- 3:15Speaker 3: weird thing in my pants or my shirt.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Well, I'm glad we got that out of the way.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Cause I always, I get worried talking about body image
- 3:21Speaker 1: of someone who's conventionally thin. Like I wonder if it's
- 3:23Speaker 1: just really annoying to hear a girl that wears a
- 3:25Speaker 1: size blank, you know, talk about her body that way.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Like I, I get that. I understand that.
- 3:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:31Speaker 1: But I also, I want to, I think when people
- 3:33Speaker 1: say things that make me feel so seen, like if
- 3:37Speaker 1: that's a thought I would never say out loud and
- 3:38Speaker 1: somebody else says it, it makes me feel less alone
- 3:42Speaker 1: on this earth.
- 3:42Speaker 3: Yes. Yeah.
- 3:43Speaker 1: And I've been thinking a lot about purpose and what
- 3:46Speaker 1: I want to do with my life. And I think
- 3:49Speaker 1: I felt that way so much growing up that I'm like,
- 3:50Speaker 1: maybe what I'm doing in my life is to help
- 3:54Speaker 1: the younger version of me that would have felt really, um,
- 3:59Speaker 1: validated by someone saying something that maybe isn't popular, but
- 4:03Speaker 1: is maybe something that is, that somebody else has thought
- 4:05Speaker 1: to themselves at some point. It's like, Oh, I'm not
- 4:08Speaker 1: some kind of weird, broken human that feels this way.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Other people experience this. And then they can go about
- 4:13Speaker 1: their day and be normal. Yes.
- 4:15Speaker 3: I think that's the thing.
- 4:16Speaker 2: You don't feel alone with it.
- 4:17Speaker 3: That's so powerful in itself because I think what a
- 4:19Speaker 3: lot of people forget is that everybody that is walking,
- 4:23Speaker 3: unless you're like, I don't know, a sociopath, is thinking
- 4:28Speaker 3: like some sort of thought in that vein of either
- 4:30Speaker 3: trying to be enough, the fear of not being enough,
- 4:33Speaker 3: feeling unfit in your skin, walking around this world like
- 4:36Speaker 3: you're not seen.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Like, We're all facing that.
- 4:38Speaker 3: And so that's why I actually like these discussions because
- 4:41Speaker 3: these are the discussions in this kind of arena that
- 4:44Speaker 3: helped me get through the darkest days of my life
- 4:46Speaker 3: where I was like, oh my God, thank God somebody
- 4:48Speaker 3: else is dealing with this or thought through this or
- 4:50Speaker 3: had to work through this. Because for me, it was like,
- 4:52Speaker 3: oh wait, that's a light. I know there's a light coming.
- 4:55Speaker 3: All right, I can do it. I just have to
- 4:57Speaker 3: find the example of what I got to do in
- 4:58Speaker 3: order to get through it.
- 4:59Speaker 1: I also just saw a TikTok that someone said, me
- 5:02Speaker 1: when somebody else overshares. Oh, thank God, a real conversation.
- 5:05Speaker 1: And then me when I overshare, oh my God, everyone
- 5:08Speaker 1: hates me. That was such a weird thing to say.
- 5:10Speaker 1: They're judging me for saying that out loud. But and
- 5:13Speaker 1: also I think just, and this is the last thing
- 5:15Speaker 1: I'll say, because I want to get into fun stuff.
- 5:17Speaker 1: I want to like, I have a couple of fun
- 5:18Speaker 1: stories that I haven't told on the podcast yet. We
- 5:21Speaker 1: talked about maybe last week, but I want to rehash
- 5:24Speaker 1: them on the pod.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Obviously, it's been a crazy weekend.
- 5:27Speaker 3: You got to go to Austin, and I don't even
- 5:29Speaker 3: know what happened in your life last week with your
- 5:30Speaker 3: mom being in town, so there's a lot of things
- 5:32Speaker 3: to rehash on your crazy travels.
- 5:35Speaker 1: I'll quickly breeze through the Olivia Deen concert because that
- 5:36Speaker 1: was pretty uneventful, except for the woman next to me
- 5:39Speaker 1: who was having an exorcism. I don't know if you
- 5:43Speaker 1: feel the same way, but I do think concerts are
- 5:46Speaker 1: a place to be cathartic and to dance and to sing.
- 5:49Speaker 1: But there was a woman next to me that I'm like,
- 5:51Speaker 1: I think you should be somewhere. And it's not an
- 5:53Speaker 1: Olivia Deen concert. I think it's a therapist chair.
- 5:55Speaker 2: Yeah. Because like what? She's just screaming.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Yeah. She was like, it wasn't like yelling or singing.
- 6:02Speaker 1: It was like. I'm like, oh, my God. It sounded
- 6:06Speaker 1: like angry, like the lyrics that she would sing. They
- 6:09Speaker 1: were clearly pointed at somebody. And I'm like, I don't
- 6:11Speaker 1: think that person can hear you. Yeah.
- 6:13Speaker 2: And I don't think Olivia can either.
- 6:14Speaker 1: I don't think. But I can. My right ear can.
- 6:16Speaker 2: You're not here. And I'm slowly going deaf.
- 6:20Speaker 1: The longer that I stand here. But yeah, Olivia Deen
- 6:21Speaker 1: was great. She looked beautiful. We were matching in her
- 6:24Speaker 1: black and white polka dot dresses.
- 6:25Speaker 2: That's incredible. I don't know how you guys got on
- 6:27Speaker 2: sync for that.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Yeah, I DM'd her. I said, what are you wearing, girl?
- 6:29Speaker 2: She DM'd you right back. Of course. Black dress, polka dots.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Black dress and polka dots. She looked beautiful. She's like
- 6:35Speaker 1: so unreal. It might be the best performer I've seen.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Now that is a hell of a statement.
- 6:41Speaker 1: And I know that's controversial because I've seen the greats.
- 6:44Speaker 1: I've seen Beyonce.
- 6:45Speaker 2: Oh my God.
- 6:46Speaker 1: I've seen Taylor Swift. Yeah. I've seen Nelly.
- 6:51Speaker 2: Nelly goes up there, legendary.
- 6:53Speaker 1: I mean, I've seen all the big performers. And what
- 6:55Speaker 1: I really appreciated about Olivia Dean's concert compared to, and
- 7:00Speaker 1: this is not me knocking on all the artists that
- 7:02Speaker 1: I love.
- 7:02Speaker 2: No.
- 7:03Speaker 1: But she was so present. And if you go to
- 7:08Speaker 1: a lot of live music shows, sometimes you can tell
- 7:11Speaker 1: that somebody's just performing. And that's not a knock on them,
- 7:14Speaker 1: because I would say the same thing about Taylor Swift. Like,
- 7:15Speaker 1: I loved the Heiress tour, but I even remember standing
- 7:18Speaker 1: there and going, oh, she's got this. Like, she could
- 7:21Speaker 1: do this in her sleep.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Yeah, like, she's gone through these reps so many times
- 7:24Speaker 3: that it's not like it's a new experience for her.
- 7:26Speaker 1: But that's a compliment, because she looked really great doing it.
- 7:27Speaker 2: True.
- 7:29Speaker 1: But when I was watching Olivia perform, she was there.
- 7:33Speaker 1: She was getting emotional when she was singing songs. There
- 7:36Speaker 1: was one song called Let Alone, The One You Love,
- 7:38Speaker 1: where she started to tear up a little bit, and...
- 7:42Speaker 1: She was just in the room with us and I
- 7:45Speaker 1: could feel it and I appreciated that because there have
- 7:48Speaker 1: been times in concerts where I'm like, they're just pressing
- 7:51Speaker 1: play and they're doing their job. Listen, they're showing up
- 7:53Speaker 1: to work.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Yeah, they're working.
- 7:55Speaker 3: They've done it so many times that at this point,
- 7:57Speaker 3: you know, I think of with that tangent. But I
- 7:59Speaker 3: think of that with, like, the Jonas Brothers going on
- 8:00Speaker 3: their 82nd concert, like, this year.
- 8:03Speaker 1: I felt the way about the Jonas Brothers when I
- 8:06Speaker 1: saw them.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly. Where it's like, you've done this so many times.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Because they've been on tour for seven years.
- 8:10Speaker 2: Yeah, like, they literally did it as their kids. They
- 8:13Speaker 2: took a little break.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Now they're doing it constantly as adults. And with that
- 8:16Speaker 3: many shows, of course, it's going to be like, I
- 8:19Speaker 3: can't imagine them probably getting butterflies before the show.
- 8:22Speaker 2: I can't. I mean, maybe they do. I could be
- 8:24Speaker 2: wrong with that.
- 8:24Speaker 3: But you've done it so many times that you're like,
- 8:26Speaker 3: all right, we're going to go in and do a thing,
- 8:28Speaker 3: and we're going to have a little fun doing it.
- 8:30Speaker 3: But there's an artist that you see where it's like, oh,
- 8:32Speaker 3: you're into it. You're not only here with us, but
- 8:35Speaker 3: you still feel the lyrics that you sing.
- 8:37Speaker 2: That's cool.
- 8:38Speaker 1: And I think that's why I really appreciate it. This
- 8:40Speaker 1: is probably the 50th time you've sang this song on
- 8:42Speaker 1: this tour, and you're still tearing up about it. I
- 8:45Speaker 1: don't know. I think it's just something that I noticed,
- 8:47Speaker 1: and if you were in the room, you know exactly
- 8:50Speaker 1: what I mean. But I think it's a testament, A,
- 8:53Speaker 1: to our talent, Be to her generosity because how generous
- 8:56Speaker 1: do you have to be to continuously give so much
- 8:58Speaker 1: of yourself as a performer on Stop 50? But yeah,
- 9:02Speaker 1: just also maybe the fact that she's also a newer artist.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Maybe she's just really, really grateful and she's not jaded
- 9:08Speaker 1: by the things that you get when you're an artist
- 9:10Speaker 1: that gets to go on arena tours yet.
- 9:12Speaker 3: Yeah, like this is her first real go. Obviously, she's
- 9:15Speaker 3: been performing for, I mean, years. But at this level,
- 9:19Speaker 3: that's the whole new stage for her. So love you,
- 9:21Speaker 3: Olivia Dean.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Thank you for.
- 9:22Speaker 1: forgiving so.
- 9:23Speaker 3: Much of yourself that's cool like one of the best
- 9:25Speaker 3: performers and i think that i think usually the younger
- 9:27Speaker 3: artists are the ones that are able to bring it
- 9:28Speaker 3: like the shows the quality of the production.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Of like a taylor swift that's crazy like ain't nobody
- 9:34Speaker 2: doing that sabrina carpenter ain't nobody doing.
- 9:36Speaker 1: That beyonce's doing that when i saw the cowboy carter
- 9:38Speaker 1: tour i was like damn this is this is a.
- 9:40Speaker 3: Show she put in that thing oh she did but
- 9:42Speaker 3: these other young artists like it's cool to see like
- 9:44Speaker 3: they could i don't know there's a difference i think
- 9:46Speaker 3: in the music world of like The voice quality, what
- 9:49Speaker 3: you're bringing from your soul, like if you go see
- 9:52Speaker 3: an Adele, that's going to be a little different.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Than if you're going to go see a Dua Lipa.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Where you're like okay.
- 9:57Speaker 1: A Dua Leep.
- 9:59Speaker 3: Like you're going for different reasons. And I think you're
- 10:01Speaker 3: getting something out of it. From each show. That maybe
- 10:04Speaker 3: one's a party. And one's therapeutic. Now for the girl
- 10:06Speaker 3: that was yelling next to you. That's the part where
- 10:08Speaker 3: I'm like.
- 10:09Speaker 2: That's inconsiderate.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Here's the thing. It is funny because I was thinking
- 10:12Speaker 1: about the duality of women of the most recent concert
- 10:15Speaker 1: that I went to, which is a Five Seconds of
- 10:16Speaker 1: Summer concert. Punk rock, very edgy. And to be fair,
- 10:22Speaker 1: I probably sounded like that at the Five Seconds of
- 10:24Speaker 1: Summer concert. So when she was doing it, I was like,
- 10:26Speaker 1: you know what?
- 10:27Speaker 2: She needs this. Yeah, see, you got yours out, she
- 10:29Speaker 2: got hers out.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Very different environments.
- 10:31Speaker 2: I was gonna say. Like, I mean, one's a rock
- 10:33Speaker 2: concert where it's like you're literally screaming.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Yeah, one I was wearing boots, lace, and leather, and
- 10:38Speaker 1: this one I was in a dress.
- 10:39Speaker 3: Yes, and you could sing without screaming.
- 10:41Speaker 1: So I think that's why I was shocked that it was,
- 10:43Speaker 1: she was so, I mean, I don't know how to
- 10:46Speaker 1: properly convey it, because it wasn't like she was just loud. Yeah, yeah.
- 10:48Speaker 1: It was like she wanted somebody to hear what she
- 10:52Speaker 1: had to say. She was yelling at somebody.
- 10:54Speaker 3: She had a demon she needed to release, and hopefully
- 10:56Speaker 3: after that show... That demon is gone.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Be gone, demon.
- 10:59Speaker 1: She exercised it.
- 11:00Speaker 2: There it is.
- 11:01Speaker 3: So what happened the week before, though? Because you went
- 11:02Speaker 3: out with your mom. You had a whole thing of
- 11:05Speaker 3: sagas with that. I don't even know if we dove into.
- 11:07Speaker 2: That on the podcast.
- 11:08Speaker 1: I'm trying to decide. Oh, my God.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Yeah, now I'm just remembering. Yeah, yeah, now I'm remembering everything.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Okay, so this is the fun part, but now I
- 11:15Speaker 1: feel like we're in too deep of like a... I
- 11:17Speaker 1: feel like the vibe of this podcast is too low now.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Well, we're only like 12 minutes in.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Are we only 12 minutes in? Yes! It feels like
- 11:24Speaker 1: I've been here for years.
- 11:25Speaker 3: No, we got the whole day. The world is your
- 11:27Speaker 3: oyster on.
- 11:27Speaker 2: Whatever you want to share.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Okay, I have several stories. So, also, I'm going to
- 11:30Speaker 1: Italy next week, so I feel like... I'm trying to
- 11:32Speaker 1: figure out how many stories I want to divvy up
- 11:34Speaker 1: throughout the week, because I feel like we've got to
- 11:35Speaker 1: do five this week, because we won't have any next week.
- 11:37Speaker 2: That's true.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Unless you're going to have Alexia on.
- 11:40Speaker 2: No, I think we should bring in Alexia, though, for
- 11:41Speaker 2: this week. We'll bring her in.
- 11:43Speaker 3: We'll ask her if she wants to come in, because
- 11:44Speaker 3: she's had a ton of life changes that seem awesome
- 11:47Speaker 3: to share.
- 11:47Speaker 2: So we'll be able to bring her in.
- 11:48Speaker 1: We'll have to bring her in tomorrow, because we have
- 11:50Speaker 1: our co-worker happy hour today.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Oh, that's today?
- 11:54Speaker 1: That's today.
- 11:54Speaker 2: There's a happy hour?
- 11:55Speaker 1: I know. I'm kind of upset about it. I'm like, oh,
- 11:57Speaker 1: I'm not in the mood to drink today.
- 11:58Speaker 2: What the hell is this? Oh my god. Okay. Well,
- 12:02Speaker 2: I'm not going. What is this?
- 12:04Speaker 1: Oh my god! Alexia's gonna go. So me and Alexia
- 12:07Speaker 1: will have some fun stories.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Yeah, okay. I wanna go to that. I can't stand the.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Like- You've been texting me and Alexia for four weeks. Saying,
- 12:14Speaker 1: let's go get drinks.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Let's go to happy hours. In the middle of the week.
- 12:16Speaker 2: I need something to look forward to in the middle
- 12:17Speaker 2: of the week.
- 12:18Speaker 3: Actually, that's so funny that I do text you guys
- 12:19Speaker 3: and literally nobody responds.
- 12:21Speaker 1: I know. And I was like, well, we have a
- 12:22Speaker 1: happy hour.
- 12:23Speaker 3: I don't want to go have a happy hour with everybody.
- 12:24Speaker 3: I want to go with y'all and have our little
- 12:26Speaker 3: magic bonds.
- 12:27Speaker 1: No, this is way more fun. I'm so excited, actually.
- 12:30Speaker 1: I cannot wait.
- 12:31Speaker 3: I think what I'm here is I'm not good. And
- 12:34Speaker 3: I know it's not a day of plan, but I
- 12:35Speaker 3: know people can relate to this. Now that those just
- 12:37Speaker 3: sprung on me day of, I'm like, I can't go.
- 12:39Speaker 2: No, I get it.
- 12:40Speaker 1: I get it.
- 12:40Speaker 2: I'm like, at 4 o'clock today?
- 12:42Speaker 1: What the hell?
- 12:42Speaker 2: I got bills to pay. I don't know. Emails to
- 12:45Speaker 2: write back.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Yeah, go make conversation with the people who can help
- 12:48Speaker 1: get you paid. Okay. Anyway, I'm not going to convince
- 12:51Speaker 1: you to go because I don't want you to come
- 12:52Speaker 1: and be a loser.
- 12:53Speaker 2: I'm never a loser. I'm literally always the life of
- 12:55Speaker 2: the party.
- 12:56Speaker 1: I'm so excited because I love office drama, and someone
- 13:00Speaker 1: always gets a little drunk and tells me some office tea.
- 13:02Speaker 1: I always learn some lore. I, like, find out who
- 13:04Speaker 1: hooked up with who three years ago when I wasn't here.
- 13:06Speaker 1: I love learning that stuff.
- 13:08Speaker 3: What I find so fascinating about the office place, because we, this, yes,
- 13:12Speaker 3: it's a job. Yes, we get paid. But it's a
- 13:14Speaker 3: very different job. Like, we get to just express things
- 13:17Speaker 3: that are happening. Our job is literally to talk about stories.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Where I feel like in a real office environment, like,
- 13:21Speaker 3: they have a lot of pent-up things that go down.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Like, secretive stuff that go down. Even in this building.
- 13:25Speaker 3: Like, half the building is people that just do normal stuff. Like,
- 13:27Speaker 3: bills and sales. And they make calls. Yeah.
- 13:30Speaker 2: But they see coworkers.
- 13:32Speaker 1: As opposed to what we do.
- 13:33Speaker 3: Yeah, we literally just pop on a mic and put
- 13:34Speaker 3: on a little circus act. And then we go out
- 13:36Speaker 3: and do events. And that's everything's needed. But I feel
- 13:39Speaker 3: like that's where it's cool for them to get out
- 13:41Speaker 3: where it's like, oh my God, finally get to let
- 13:42Speaker 3: my hair down and just.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Because they're more fun than us.
- 13:46Speaker 2: I know.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Because that is their fun. Whereas we made fun our job.
- 13:49Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:49Speaker 1: They're like, I don't get to have fun, so now
- 13:51Speaker 1: I'm going to have fun at work.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Well, think about it. For us, it's every day. It's
- 13:54Speaker 2: throw the show. Do the show. Be fun.
- 13:56Speaker 3: Where it's them, it's like, oh, my God. Especially the
- 13:58Speaker 3: young ones that are just into the new work environment.
- 14:00Speaker 3: I didn't get that. When I first came into the,
- 14:04Speaker 3: I guess, corporate life, I remember the promotions team. Because
- 14:07Speaker 3: I took this so seriously that I was just working
- 14:10Speaker 3: all the time. But the promotions team that I was on,
- 14:12Speaker 3: they would all go out. They would hook up. All
- 14:16Speaker 3: those different scandalous office drama moments, I just was never
- 14:19Speaker 3: a part of.
- 14:20Speaker 2: I heard about it, but in my stupid.
- 14:22Speaker 3: If I give advice to anybody that's like, I don't know,
- 14:25Speaker 3: let's see, how old was I?
- 14:26Speaker 1: 22?
- 14:27Speaker 2: I'm like, do not take it too seriously.
- 14:29Speaker 3: Enjoy those little chapters because that stuff goes away so quick.
- 14:32Speaker 1: And don't hook up with anybody that can affect your paycheck.
- 14:35Speaker 3: Ooh, I don't know if I've ever... No.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Do you and Jenna hook up? No. What about you
- 14:42Speaker 1: and Scary Jason? Scary Jason's our big, big boss. Oh,
- 14:44Speaker 1: my God.
- 14:44Speaker 4: Jesus.
- 14:45Speaker 3: No, but I've never had that where it's like you
- 14:46Speaker 3: have a breakup in the office and it's like, you
- 14:49Speaker 3: can't walk by that person. I worry about that with
- 14:51Speaker 3: people in the building. You do? Yeah.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, because we have so many couples in the building.
- 14:55Speaker 2: So many couples.
- 14:55Speaker 1: You guys, we have so many couples in the building.
- 14:57Speaker 3: Where it's like, yeah, I'm glad you guys found love
- 15:00Speaker 3: in whatever the song is in a special place, but like.
- 15:02Speaker 1: You found love in a hopeless place?
- 15:04Speaker 2: Oh, and this has a lot of hope.
- 15:06Speaker 1: That's the kids' bop version.
- 15:07Speaker 3: Wee-bop!
- 15:08Speaker 1: On love in a special place.
- 15:11Speaker 2: Why does that sound so accurate?
- 15:12Speaker 1: No, it's because it is.
- 15:13Speaker 2: But that would be so awkward, though, because then somebody
- 15:15Speaker 2: has to leave. Like, if they break up, somebody has
- 15:17Speaker 2: to leave.
- 15:18Speaker 1: No, because we've had a breakup in this building, I mean,
- 15:20Speaker 1: decades ago. But there was a salesperson and another salesperson
- 15:24Speaker 1: that dated. I was surprised by that.
- 15:27Speaker 2: I wonder how long, though, because that also dictates, like.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Well, if they saw each other naked, it doesn't matter
- 15:31Speaker 1: how long. Do you know what I mean?
- 15:32Speaker 2: I'm trying to think.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Did I ever.
- 15:34Speaker 2: When I, no, I guess I never had that.
- 15:37Speaker 3: I had a secret relationship in college when I was
- 15:40Speaker 3: like a first college girlfriend.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Ooh, a secret relationship.
- 15:43Speaker 2: Well, it was, we were working on the same team,
- 15:45Speaker 2: working in the office environment.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Gotcha.
- 15:47Speaker 2: And then we were like secretly dating and it was
- 15:49Speaker 2: a whole thing.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Oh.
- 15:50Speaker 3: Like people found out, it became a whole thing. Had
- 15:53Speaker 3: to go to meetings where it's like, you're not allowed
- 15:56Speaker 3: to do this, but we kept doing it. It was
- 15:59Speaker 3: honestly way too much stress for the payoff. That's what
- 16:02Speaker 3: I'll say. Yeah.
- 16:03Speaker 1: If you're going to date somebody in the office, that's
- 16:06Speaker 1: got to be it. Like, you have to be really sure.
- 16:08Speaker 3: I was looking at the other comments where somebody said, Abby,
- 16:10Speaker 3: maybe you should date somebody that's, you know, shorter.
- 16:13Speaker 1: You guys act like I only date guys that are 6'7. Like,
- 16:17Speaker 1: who do you think I'm going out with? The average
- 16:19Speaker 1: man is 5'10. And I go out on a lot
- 16:22Speaker 1: of dates.
- 16:22Speaker 2: What happened to the... Okay, wait, wait. Can we go
- 16:25Speaker 2: take a step back? I don't know if we should.
- 16:27Speaker 1: I have so much to recap on. I know.
- 16:29Speaker 3: At least one of them has to do the job guy.
- 16:32Speaker 3: The guy that you had a good job with, he
- 16:35Speaker 3: has a good job, and you met his best friend.
- 16:38Speaker 3: You know what I'm talking about.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Oh, you want me to tell that story? Yes. Because
- 16:41Speaker 1: I also went on another date last week. I went
- 16:43Speaker 1: on a coffee date. You know what? Yes.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Could you please recap?
- 16:46Speaker 1: Hang on. We're going to have to figure out how
- 16:48Speaker 1: we're going to plan out how we're going to tell
- 16:49Speaker 1: these stories because now we're all over the place. So
- 16:52Speaker 1: we just talked.
- 16:53Speaker 3: About- Catch us up with a coffee date.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Olivia Dean. No, coffee date is not as interesting as
- 16:57Speaker 1: the story I'm about to tell you. What story is this?
- 17:00Speaker 1: How far deep are we into this?
- 17:01Speaker 2: All right, 20 minutes.
- 17:02Speaker 1: We got another 30 minutes. All right, this is a
- 17:04Speaker 1: packed and loaded episode, you guys.
- 17:05Speaker 3: Yes.
- 17:05Speaker 1: We got a lot of good content.
- 17:06Speaker 2: You got time. You know what?
- 17:07Speaker 1: I'm going to stop with the scarcity mindset, and I'm
- 17:10Speaker 1: going to think that there are good stories that we
- 17:11Speaker 1: can tell every single day this week.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Absolutely. You're literally doing a happy hour today.
- 17:14Speaker 1: I'm trying to sprinkle them, okay? I'm trying to make
- 17:17Speaker 1: sure that we're not just overloading one sandwich to the
- 17:19Speaker 1: point where we have like one 20-minute episode and then
- 17:21Speaker 1: one that's like an hour and a half. Yeah, give
- 17:23Speaker 1: us one. Can you tell the Tampa Bay Athletes story?
- 17:26Speaker 2: 100%, yes.
- 17:28Speaker 1: You guys, this is so crazy.
- 17:31Speaker 2: This is the best story. This is crazy.
- 17:33Speaker 1: This is literally the best story. Okay, so my mom
- 17:36Speaker 1: and my dad came into town this week on Thursday,
- 17:38Speaker 1: and my mom has this thing about coming out on
- 17:40Speaker 1: Thursdays where I think she comes specifically because she has
- 17:43Speaker 1: this idea in her head that we're going to go
- 17:45Speaker 1: out to channel side and we're going to find some
- 17:48Speaker 1: finance dude. And she's going to set me up with
- 17:49Speaker 1: the finance dude. She thinks she's a really good wing woman.
- 17:52Speaker 1: She's not. Um, she's a really aggressive wing woman. Like
- 17:55Speaker 1: she gets in there, but it's not effective. I'm a
- 17:59Speaker 1: good wing woman. I know how to read a room.
- 18:01Speaker 3: She's a good conversation starter. Like if you ever go
- 18:04Speaker 3: out and it's like you get nervous to like approach
- 18:06Speaker 3: a new group, your mom is fearless.
- 18:08Speaker 1: She is a great conversation starter. So once she gets
- 18:11Speaker 1: me in, I'm great. So in theory, we're a great team.
- 18:16Speaker 1: Like we're doing a relay race.
- 18:17Speaker 3: Out of the bars.
- 18:18Speaker 2: Pass the baton. Let's go. Yeah.
- 18:20Speaker 1: She's like real quick off the mark. And she's like, yeah.
- 18:22Speaker 1: And then I can take it the distance. The problem is,
- 18:25Speaker 1: is if she's if she goes to if she doesn't
- 18:27Speaker 1: pass the baton off fast enough.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Crap, yeah, you're off to the races.
- 18:30Speaker 1: It's bad news bears. And so that's where we're going
- 18:31Speaker 1: to get into this. So my mom comes in Thursday.
- 18:33Speaker 1: We decide to go to a happy hour at Bar Taco.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Shout out Bartender Mitch at Bar Taco in Hyde Park.
- 18:38Speaker 1: We love Bartender Mitch.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Who the hell is this Mitch?
- 18:40Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 18:40Speaker 1: He was just like, please leave us a review. And
- 18:42Speaker 1: I was like, okay. So now I feel like every
- 18:43Speaker 1: time I talk about him, he was so great to
- 18:45Speaker 1: us that I feel like I need to give him
- 18:47Speaker 1: another review.
- 18:47Speaker 2: Now I feel like I want to go just to
- 18:48Speaker 2: meet this guy. Because you said that a couple times.
- 18:50Speaker 2: I'm like, why is Mitch so great?
- 18:51Speaker 1: He was so lovely, very friendly. I wanted to order
- 18:54Speaker 1: a watermelon margarita, and he said, I get the sense
- 18:56Speaker 1: that you're not going to like it. And I was like, oh,
- 18:58Speaker 1: I appreciate that. He goes, I'm going to make it
- 18:59Speaker 1: differently for you. So he made it differently for me.
- 19:02Speaker 1: He was just nice, and he said it really helps
- 19:04Speaker 1: me when I get good reviews. So I'm like, you
- 19:05Speaker 1: know what? I'll leave you a good review. You're very nice,
- 19:07Speaker 1: and I feel like you deserve it.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Bar Taco in Tampa.
- 19:09Speaker 1: See Mitch. So I'm thinking my mom and I are
- 19:11Speaker 1: going to have two margaritas, and we're going home. My mom,
- 19:14Speaker 1: after drink number one, goes, let's go to Meat Market.
- 19:17Speaker 1: So we go to Meat Market, and I'm thinking, okay,
- 19:20Speaker 1: we're at Meat Market. We're surely we're going to go
- 19:21Speaker 1: home now because I work super early mornings. So while
- 19:24Speaker 1: we're out and about, my mom and I are just
- 19:26Speaker 1: talking about my career path and what I want to do.
- 19:28Speaker 1: And I'm like, I don't know, life just seems so discombobulated.
- 19:30Speaker 1: I don't really know, but I'm excited about some new
- 19:32Speaker 1: opportunities that are coming up. I was just talking to
- 19:34Speaker 1: somebody at the office about getting to do some work
- 19:38Speaker 1: with a specific team here in Tampa Bay. And I
- 19:42Speaker 1: might get to interview some of their players. And I'm like,
- 19:44Speaker 1: I love going to these games. This team is really good.
- 19:47Speaker 1: And we're going through like all my videos from the games.
- 19:50Speaker 1: that I've been to where I've watched where I've like
- 19:52Speaker 1: taken videos of like games I've been to I was
- 19:54Speaker 1: like oh my god this game was so fun like
- 19:56Speaker 1: the fact that this, I'm like, this is the coolest
- 19:58Speaker 1: moment in sports I've ever witnessed in person. And my
- 20:01Speaker 1: mom's like, oh yeah, that looks so cool. I'm like
- 20:03Speaker 1: going through the roster and she's like trying to find
- 20:04Speaker 1: one to set up, set me up with. I'm like, mom,
- 20:06Speaker 1: like this is, that's not how it works.
- 20:07Speaker 2: They are literally professional athletes.
- 20:09Speaker 1: They're literally professional athletes. Like they have 70, 100 women
- 20:12Speaker 1: in their DMs. Like, This is just I'm just getting
- 20:14Speaker 1: excited about the fact that like I have a new
- 20:16Speaker 1: challenge in front of me. Yeah, I feel like I've
- 20:17Speaker 1: been needing a new something new to spice things up
- 20:20Speaker 1: in my life career wise. And so I'm just getting
- 20:23Speaker 1: really geared up about that. So I tell you that
- 20:25Speaker 1: because then we bop over to a dive bar on D.I.
- 20:29Speaker 1: We're sitting there and we're making conversation with this new
- 20:32Speaker 1: friend who I will tell at a later date. That's
- 20:34Speaker 1: another side story of a fun conversation. Lots of content
- 20:37Speaker 1: this week. You're going to get fed before I'm in Italy,
- 20:39Speaker 1: so eat up.
- 20:40Speaker 2: That's good.
- 20:41Speaker 1: So I'm having this conversation with this guy having really
- 20:44Speaker 1: good banter. Gay, not romantic. Don't go there. And I'm
- 20:48Speaker 1: sitting there with my mom, and I turn. I don't
- 20:50Speaker 1: know if I heard a bunch of people get out
- 20:52Speaker 1: of a car or whatever, but I just turn, and
- 20:53Speaker 1: I see these two guys stumble out of a vehicle,
- 20:56Speaker 1: and I go, Mom! That's the guy from one of
- 21:00Speaker 1: the videos I just showed you.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Like the people that I'm going to be interviewing. And
- 21:04Speaker 1: she goes, what? And you know, my mom's, drunk yeah
- 21:09Speaker 1: you guys have now been at a couple places we've
- 21:10Speaker 1: been at four bars and so my mom's like we've
- 21:13Speaker 1: got to go talk to them they they have to
- 21:15Speaker 1: know who you are and so i'm like mom like
- 21:17Speaker 1: let's just chill but i'm thinking this is the coolest
- 21:19Speaker 1: thing ever because i just i was like so excited
- 21:21Speaker 1: well you hear.
- 21:21Speaker 3: The lore about these moments in tampa like you do
- 21:24Speaker 3: where it's like oh you'll be at a place and
- 21:25Speaker 3: they'll just pop up and you're like.
- 21:27Speaker 1: But i but this never happens to me like i
- 21:29Speaker 1: never see famous people in the wild the only context
- 21:31Speaker 1: i see famous people is when usher is coming to
- 21:34Speaker 1: the birch show And so, like, I've seen famous people,
- 21:38Speaker 1: but I never see them in the wild.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Not in the wild.
- 21:40Speaker 1: And so the fact that I'm seeing this dude in
- 21:42Speaker 1: the wild, after I literally just told my mom about
- 21:45Speaker 1: this opportunity two hours ago, and he was in one
- 21:47Speaker 1: of the videos, I'm like, look at this. Like, look
- 21:49Speaker 1: at this play. Insane. Like, I really feel like I
- 21:51Speaker 1: spoke him into existence.
- 21:53Speaker 2: The universe is like, okay, you manifested. Here he is.
- 21:55Speaker 1: He's a figment of my imagination. So we go into
- 21:57Speaker 1: this bar, and I'm trying to figure out, like, do
- 21:59Speaker 1: I want to approach and, like, say— Hey, I work
- 22:02Speaker 1: for this radio station. You might know these people that
- 22:04Speaker 1: I work with because of certain things. Anyway, they're clearly
- 22:09Speaker 1: broing out.
- 22:10Speaker 3: Yeah. Like, you know, you read the room.
- 22:12Speaker 1: It's 15 big ass athletes. I'm reading the room and
- 22:16Speaker 1: I'm like, my gut is just saying this. Don't. This
- 22:19Speaker 1: is not the vibe. So my mom cannot read a room.
- 22:22Speaker 2: She recognizes a guy that knows everything.
- 22:27Speaker 1: My cousin's husband and i'm telling you this because my
- 22:31Speaker 1: cousin's husband is the son of a very famous tampa
- 22:34Speaker 1: bay athlete so my mom loves to throw this in
- 22:36Speaker 1: anytime she like wants to say we're relevant so she
- 22:39Speaker 1: sees him and says hey i think we've met before
- 22:41Speaker 1: whatever and i guess they somehow recognize each other he
- 22:44Speaker 1: recognizes my mom and they have a conversation this is
- 22:47Speaker 1: some other dude like in the group though.
- 22:48Speaker 2: Not in the group though so he's connected to the he's.
- 22:50Speaker 1: Connected to the athletes but yeah not the one that
- 22:53Speaker 1: i was referencing that we'll get into so My mom
- 22:57Speaker 1: is talking to him and I guess he goes, hey,
- 22:58Speaker 1: we're going to this bar down the street. Come with
- 23:00Speaker 1: or whatever. And so my mom, of course, is like,
- 23:03Speaker 1: let's go. So we go in, we get our drinks,
- 23:05Speaker 1: we sit down at a table and we're sitting behind
- 23:08Speaker 1: the table of some of the athletes that we I'd
- 23:11Speaker 1: shown my mom there. It's so crazy. They're literally just
- 23:14Speaker 1: sitting there and I'm. Respectful I can clearly see that
- 23:19Speaker 1: they're they're growing out something's happening Yeah, like they're having
- 23:22Speaker 1: a dude moment and the last thing I want to do.
- 23:26Speaker 4: Is be that girl That's like hey guys. I'm a
- 23:28Speaker 4: really big fan of your team, and I think you're
- 23:30Speaker 4: really cute You mean like I'm not trying to have
- 23:33Speaker 4: like a wattpad moment. I just think this is like
- 23:35Speaker 4: the wildest thing ever And honestly, I've been having a
- 23:38Speaker 4: couple drinks. I was like you know what if we
- 23:39Speaker 4: chat we chat so my mom Can never play it cool.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Because I'm thinking at some point maybe I'll bop in and, like, say, oh,
- 23:52Speaker 1: my God, I'm a fan. I work for this radio
- 23:53Speaker 1: station or whatever. Like, I'm trying to think of how
- 23:55Speaker 1: I'm going to play it.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Find the in.
- 23:56Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 23:56Speaker 1: I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to find
- 23:57Speaker 1: an in that's organic and natural. My mom takes her
- 24:01Speaker 1: cell phone. Oh. And she pulls up my Instagram, Bayes
- 24:04Speaker 1: on Bayshore. And to some of the most elite athletes
- 24:10Speaker 1: in Tampa, I'm talking like household Tampa names, maybe not
- 24:13Speaker 1: household United States names or, you know, like whatever, but
- 24:17Speaker 1: like household Tampa names.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Well, I mean, millions of people do know who these
- 24:21Speaker 2: people are.
- 24:21Speaker 1: A big deal in this world. starts showing these elite
- 24:25Speaker 1: athletes my base on Facebook or Instagram.
- 24:28Speaker 2: She's so proud.
- 24:29Speaker 1: She's scrolling through, and I'm like, these poor guys do
- 24:32Speaker 1: not give a fuck.
- 24:34Speaker 2: No, yeah, like there's no chance.
- 24:36Speaker 1: I'm humiliated because also it 100% looks like she's trying
- 24:40Speaker 1: to set me up with these guys. And I'm just
- 24:43Speaker 1: instantly like, I'm gonna crawl out of my skin. My
- 24:45Speaker 1: new friend is sitting there with me. So I literally
- 24:47Speaker 1: grab her by the purse strap and I yank her back.
- 24:50Speaker 1: My mom is a fit little thing. If you've ever
- 24:52Speaker 1: seen my mom, she's freaking jacked. She doesn't move an inch.
- 24:55Speaker 1: So at this point, they've now noticed me trying to
- 24:58Speaker 1: pull her away. I've got to now play into this.
- 25:01Speaker 1: Now I have to be like, oh, is this woman
- 25:02Speaker 1: bothering you? Oh, my God.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Let me jump in.
- 25:04Speaker 1: And so I jump into the conversation and I'm just
- 25:07Speaker 1: really trying to smooth it over because also in the
- 25:09Speaker 1: back of my mind is I have to interview these
- 25:11Speaker 1: guys at some point.
- 25:12Speaker 3: One day you will.
- 25:13Speaker 1: One of these days I'm going to interview some of
- 25:15Speaker 1: these dudes or I'm going to have some kind of
- 25:17Speaker 1: professional interaction with them. And the last thing I want
- 25:20Speaker 1: to happen is for them to see me at one
- 25:22Speaker 1: of their games and be like, that's the girl that
- 25:24Speaker 1: tried to set herself up. With the page on page
- 25:27Speaker 1: four on Instagram, she thinks she's like an influencer. So
- 25:31Speaker 1: I'm standing there and it's these. There's two of them
- 25:33Speaker 1: at this table. We're actually having a great conversation. But
- 25:35Speaker 1: about like five minutes in, they decide they're done with
- 25:38Speaker 1: the conversation and they just stand up and leave. I
- 25:40Speaker 1: think one of their girlfriends came or whatever. And so
- 25:42Speaker 1: obviously it looks a little weird. There's this girl having
- 25:44Speaker 1: this conversation with you. You don't know her. Anyway, they
- 25:46Speaker 1: go to another part of the bar. And my mom
- 25:48Speaker 1: is so upset by this.
- 25:50Speaker 2: So that conversation was not enough for your mama.
- 25:53Speaker 1: It was not enough for my mom.
- 25:54Speaker 3: Was the big athlete name in that conversation?
- 25:57Speaker 1: Yes, it was Big Athlete and his friend. That's crazy.
- 26:00Speaker 1: It was Big Name Athlete and his friend.
- 26:01Speaker 2: So you got to hang out with Big Athlete.
- 26:02Speaker 1: I got to hang out with Big Athlete. I mean, literally,
- 26:05Speaker 1: that's what I'm trying to really actually push is just
- 26:07Speaker 1: how crazy this is for me in this moment. I'm
- 26:10Speaker 1: two hours before I'm showing my mom videos from this
- 26:12Speaker 1: game that I went to. where he had like a
- 26:14Speaker 1: big play that was a big deal for.
- 26:17Speaker 3: That specific game.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 26:18Speaker 2: I mean, the dude's a badass.
- 26:19Speaker 1: I mean, huge moment. So I'm really just tweaking that. Like,
- 26:22Speaker 1: I think this is the coolest thing ever. Oh, yeah,
- 26:24Speaker 1: it is. So she's sitting there, and she's pissed. And
- 26:28Speaker 1: she looks over to her left where a big-name athlete
- 26:30Speaker 1: was just sitting, and his phone is sitting there. And
- 26:35Speaker 1: I look at my mom, and I said, for the
- 26:37Speaker 1: love of God, do not do what I think you're
- 26:40Speaker 1: about to do. It's caseless. It's sitting there. It's locked.
- 26:43Speaker 1: She picks it up. She looks at it. I'm actually
- 26:46Speaker 1: kind of more really curious. I'm like, ooh, I wonder
- 26:48Speaker 1: what's on the phone.
- 26:48Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, like just tap the screen to see.
- 26:50Speaker 1: But at the same time, I'm like, this can't get
- 26:52Speaker 1: any worse except for if he comes over and sees
- 26:54Speaker 1: my mom on his phone. So I'm like, put the
- 26:56Speaker 1: phone down, put the phone down. She puts it in
- 26:58Speaker 1: her pocket.
- 26:58Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 27:00Speaker 1: And I'm like, Mom.
- 27:01Speaker 3: Now you've not only mortified this man, you've stolen property
- 27:04Speaker 3: from him.
- 27:05Speaker 1: No, she's mortified me. He's fine.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, he's good.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Okay. He's okay. I'm mortified.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Okay.
- 27:10Speaker 1: She puts the phone in her pocket and she goes,
- 27:13Speaker 1: I'm going to keep it. And I'm like, mom, you
- 27:15Speaker 1: can't keep the phone. Mom, please just put the phone back.
- 27:17Speaker 1: He's going to come back for it because I'm thinking
- 27:19Speaker 1: he's going to realize he found he left his phone
- 27:21Speaker 1: and he's going to swing back around.
- 27:22Speaker 2: And he's going to know that your mama took it.
- 27:23Speaker 1: And he's going to know that my mom took it.
- 27:25Speaker 1: And I still have to see this man at some point. Like,
- 27:27Speaker 1: that's the thing. It's like it's not like, OK, I'll
- 27:29Speaker 1: never see big name athlete again. That day I was
- 27:32Speaker 1: having conversations about interviewing this.
- 27:34Speaker 2: Big name athlete. Like it's going to happen probably in
- 27:36Speaker 2: the next two months.
- 27:37Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, maybe not now.
- 27:40Speaker 1: I got to tell our promo team just so they
- 27:42Speaker 1: kind of know what they're getting into. Just in case.
- 27:44Speaker 1: I actually think they won't remember any of this, but
- 27:46Speaker 1: it'll be because they were also hammered. They were celebrating something.
- 27:49Speaker 1: So anyway, my mom at some point, I don't know
- 27:53Speaker 1: if she said I can't remember. I was actively trying
- 27:55Speaker 1: to block this all out because I'm humiliated. Oh, yeah.
- 27:57Speaker 1: My mom goes over there at some point and I
- 28:00Speaker 1: try to pull her back again by her purse strap again.
- 28:03Speaker 1: She's like a brick. Can't move her. I try and
- 28:05Speaker 1: pull her back. she goes straight into the fire. I'm like, whatever.
- 28:08Speaker 1: She's a loose cannon.
- 28:09Speaker 2: I can't do anything about this.
- 28:10Speaker 1: You know, a couple minutes later, the friend, a big
- 28:12Speaker 1: name athlete who was just at this table comes over
- 28:14Speaker 1: to me and she goes, not she, he goes, I'm
- 28:18Speaker 1: so sorry if you thought we were being mean. Like
- 28:20Speaker 1: I really, we didn't mean anything. And I'm like, sorry,
- 28:23Speaker 1: what did she say? Like, no, no, no, you weren't
- 28:26Speaker 1: being mean. You weren't being rude. Oh, my God. Oh,
- 28:28Speaker 1: my God. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. What is
- 28:29Speaker 1: she saying? And I go over there. And I, again,
- 28:32Speaker 1: try to pull her back. She won't move. And I
- 28:33Speaker 1: just look at him. And I think I kind of
- 28:34Speaker 1: blacked this out. I think I was so embarrassed. I
- 28:36Speaker 1: can't even really remember what happened. I just remember seeing
- 28:39Speaker 1: red the second he said, I'm so sorry if you
- 28:42Speaker 1: thought we were being mean. Because now here's how I'm
- 28:44Speaker 1: feeling in this moment. Is now I feel like a
- 28:47Speaker 1: pathetic dork loser. who approached the big-name athlete trying to, like,
- 28:51Speaker 1: have a conversation, and they left, and the mean, popular
- 28:54Speaker 1: kids walked away. Now my mom is sustained offer. That's
- 28:57Speaker 1: how I'm feeling.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Internally, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 28:58Speaker 1: And respectfully, I'm... I've got some stuff going on. I'm like,
- 29:03Speaker 1: I'm not in my big name athlete level, you know,
- 29:06Speaker 1: with a massive contract. No. Am I living in my
- 29:08Speaker 1: parents' house for free?
- 29:10Speaker 2: Maybe.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Maybe. But at the same time, I've done some great
- 29:14Speaker 1: things in my career. Like I'm not some, I'm not
- 29:16Speaker 1: some rando drunk fan girl just trying to get attention here.
- 29:20Speaker 3: Yes.
- 29:21Speaker 1: And so I'm like, I have to get out of here.
- 29:24Speaker 1: That's all I'm thinking is I can't stand here anymore.
- 29:26Speaker 1: I am so embarrassed. I grabbed my mom by her shoulders.
- 29:29Speaker 1: I walk her out. The second we leave the bar,
- 29:32Speaker 1: she starts sobbing. Jesus Christ. She's like, they were so mean.
- 29:38Speaker 1: They were really rude to us. and i'm like oh
- 29:39Speaker 1: my god mom what did you say to big name
- 29:42Speaker 1: athlete what did you say and she goes i just
- 29:47Speaker 1: thought they were so mean to us i'm running i'm
- 29:49Speaker 1: sprinting home i'm like they cannot see us this is
- 29:51Speaker 1: so embarrassing i finally get her home i get her
- 29:54Speaker 1: to bed she wakes up the next morning she is
- 29:57Speaker 1: so remorseful understandably And I'm just laying there trying to.
- 30:02Speaker 2: Go to bed.
- 30:03Speaker 1: And I'm like, I have to give up this part
- 30:08Speaker 1: of the job now. I have to go tell promotions
- 30:09Speaker 1: I can't do this.
- 30:10Speaker 2: Forget it.
- 30:10Speaker 1: Scrap it. Throw it in the can. I can't look
- 30:11Speaker 1: these guys in the eyes. So yeah, that was my Thursday.
- 30:15Speaker 2: Yeah, that's just a casual Thursday night out with your mom.
- 30:17Speaker 1: Casual Thursday. My mom trying to steal this big name
- 30:19Speaker 1: athlete's phone. Very mad that he didn't want to pay
- 30:21Speaker 1: attention to us. humiliated i'm like this is just not
- 30:24Speaker 1: the your name moment i wanted like this is i
- 30:26Speaker 1: wanted to be like oh we listen to.
- 30:28Speaker 3: Your radio yeah we love you we love your podcast
- 30:31Speaker 3: we want to be on you're.
- 30:32Speaker 1: So fun like you're so famous i've seen based on
- 30:34Speaker 1: base where i actually love it.
- 30:36Speaker 3: I actually dm'd you never responded never responded i wanted
- 30:38Speaker 3: to be on your show that is the craziest situation
- 30:42Speaker 3: that could have happened in a night out in tampa it's.
- 30:43Speaker 1: Just and i just can't get over the fact that
- 30:45Speaker 1: it all happened the universe really is like one day
- 30:48Speaker 1: you want to kill yourself the next day you're having
- 30:50Speaker 1: conversations with people and promotions about going to this team
- 30:55Speaker 1: and interviewing some of their athletes, talking to your mom
- 30:58Speaker 1: about interviewing some of those athletes, and then they show
- 30:59Speaker 1: up to the same dive bar. Crazy.
- 31:02Speaker 3: And at least you're memorable.
- 31:05Speaker 1: No, I'm really I actually you know, I really hope
- 31:08Speaker 1: that they were so drunk that that that night that
- 31:10Speaker 1: they don't remember me.
- 31:10Speaker 2: I don't think they would.
- 31:11Speaker 1: And to be fair, I also didn't look like peak
- 31:14Speaker 1: full beat Abby. So I'm hoping when I have a
- 31:16Speaker 1: full beat on, I just look like a different person.
- 31:18Speaker 2: You're like, oh my God, who am I?
- 31:20Speaker 1: This girl is so beautiful and hot and talented and interesting.
- 31:23Speaker 1: And she's vaguely familiar, but in a way that's endearing
- 31:25Speaker 1: and not embarrassing.
- 31:26Speaker 3: When you're talking to big name athlete, what is the, like,
- 31:28Speaker 3: what are you guys even talking about? Like, cause that's
- 31:31Speaker 3: a whole new level of stardom.
- 31:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess kind of just, I just skipped over
- 31:34Speaker 1: the conversation. The conversation was fun. Like we were all
- 31:37Speaker 1: kind of roasting each other because I don't know, because again,
- 31:40Speaker 1: of course my mom has to name drop the fact
- 31:42Speaker 1: that we know each other big name athlete that married
- 31:44Speaker 1: into our family oh yeah and so we were like
- 31:46Speaker 1: giving him a hard time that we like knew all
- 31:48Speaker 1: of his secrets and they're like no no no tell
- 31:50Speaker 1: us and you know oh that's fun yeah so it
- 31:52Speaker 1: was a fun conversation somehow it came up that we
- 31:56Speaker 1: that i went to uf and they said oh we
- 31:57Speaker 1: love fsu and i was giving them a hard time
- 31:59Speaker 1: because i think they just told us that they weren't
- 32:02Speaker 1: from florida i was like you're not even from florida
- 32:04Speaker 1: you didn't even go to florida state And so they
- 32:05Speaker 1: started doing the FSU chant. They did the, uh.
- 32:08Speaker 3: Oh, that's funny.
- 32:09Speaker 1: And so I was like, I was like trying to,
- 32:10Speaker 1: I was like, stop, stop, stop. But so it was funny.
- 32:12Speaker 1: It was a good conversation. How tall is this dude?
- 32:14Speaker 1: Like next to you? Or like, was it like, he
- 32:16Speaker 1: was sitting, they were both sitting and you guys are standing.
- 32:18Speaker 1: So yeah, to paint the picture, which I guess I
- 32:20Speaker 1: didn't do well enough. They're sitting at these two high
- 32:23Speaker 1: top tables and my mom and I are both standing
- 32:26Speaker 1: and like.
- 32:26Speaker 2: So they turned away from their group to chat with y'all.
- 32:28Speaker 1: Well, it was just two of them at this table.
- 32:30Speaker 1: And then the rest of the group is at the
- 32:31Speaker 1: front of the bar. So they left us at this
- 32:32Speaker 1: table to rejoin their friends at the front of the bar.
- 32:35Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, which makes perfect sense.
- 32:36Speaker 1: It makes perfect sense.
- 32:37Speaker 2: Good time to end the conversation.
- 32:39Speaker 1: I will say in the moment, it did feel like
- 32:41Speaker 1: an abrupt end. But also, I think it's important to
- 32:44Speaker 1: recognize when you talk to someone who's a public figure
- 32:48Speaker 1: or someone who is any kind of celebrity, I think
- 32:50Speaker 1: sometimes you have hypersensitivity to things that happen because you
- 32:53Speaker 1: want their approval so bad. You're like, oh, I want
- 32:56Speaker 1: this big-name athlete to think I'm, like, fun and cool.
- 32:58Speaker 2: Yeah, like, I'm cool, too. Like, with you.
- 33:00Speaker 1: Yeah, if this was just any other dude, you probably
- 33:02Speaker 1: wouldn't have thought anything about it. But because you're, like,
- 33:04Speaker 1: a fan of theirs, you're like, oh, no, this person
- 33:07Speaker 1: doesn't like me. And so I think that's why I joined.
- 33:09Speaker 3: And we do that all the time, though. We do
- 33:10Speaker 3: that all the time, yes. Like, we're like, oh, no, no, no,
- 33:12Speaker 3: we're not like the other fans. Like, we're not like,
- 33:14Speaker 3: you know, we're the cool ones.
- 33:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not weird and creepy. I need to just
- 33:16Speaker 1: talk about this opportunity where I'm going to get to
- 33:17Speaker 1: interview you guys and get really excited. I just didn't
- 33:20Speaker 1: talk about that for an hour with my mom. Yeah,
- 33:21Speaker 1: I wasn't watching her highlight reel.
- 33:22Speaker 2: Like, that's fine.
- 33:23Speaker 1: I wasn't pulling up fan edits on TikTok.
- 33:24Speaker 2: Super casual. We're just cool fans. I'm just cool. Invite
- 33:27Speaker 2: us to your friend group. It would be fun.
- 33:29Speaker 1: Yeah, let's be friends.
- 33:30Speaker 3: I think, honestly, if there's ever an opportunity to have
- 33:34Speaker 3: a moment with a celeb, at least no punches were thrown,
- 33:38Speaker 3: no harsh words were said. I hope. No drinks were
- 33:42Speaker 3: tossed on me.
- 33:43Speaker 1: No drinks were tossed. Thank God. I think my mom
- 33:45Speaker 1: just yelled at them. And so she just made me
- 33:46Speaker 1: look like a loser. So here's what I'm hoping. I'm
- 33:49Speaker 1: a cool, socially conscious human that I'm hoping if there
- 33:54Speaker 1: is any kind of recognition, if they go, you look
- 33:56Speaker 1: vaguely familiar, I'm hoping it's something I can be like,
- 33:59Speaker 1: oh my God, yes, I met you at a bar.
- 34:00Speaker 3: My mom yelled at you.
- 34:01Speaker 1: I'm so sorry. And then it's like, oh, she's cool.
- 34:04Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 34:04Speaker 1: She's, like, cool. And then we have, like, a rapport.
- 34:06Speaker 2: Then she's like, oh, my God, you're the girl with the,
- 34:07Speaker 2: you know, funny bar story.
- 34:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 34:09Speaker 3: And now you're actually memorable instead of just, like, every
- 34:11Speaker 3: other fan that they say hello to.
- 34:12Speaker 1: Because I'm not like other fans. No. I'm a fan
- 34:14Speaker 1: that has a press pass to meet you.
- 34:16Speaker 2: Exactly. And that my mom yelled at you for.
- 34:19Speaker 1: And my mom. Who can say that Carrie Murphy yelled
- 34:21Speaker 1: at them in a dive bar? See?
- 34:23Speaker 3: There's all things weirdly happen for a weird reason. But
- 34:26Speaker 3: what happened to the phone? Like, did you ever ask
- 34:28Speaker 3: your mom?
- 34:28Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 34:30Speaker 3: That's the part that drives me wild. She literally put
- 34:32Speaker 3: it in her pocket.
- 34:33Speaker 1: I have to ask her what she did with the
- 34:35Speaker 1: phone because here's what I'm afraid. This is why I'm
- 34:37Speaker 1: afraid to ask her.
- 34:38Speaker 3: Oh, boy.
- 34:39Speaker 1: I'm afraid that she yelled at him specifically when she
- 34:42Speaker 1: gave him the phone. Do you know what I mean?
- 34:44Speaker 1: Because I'm pretty sure the way she's painted the picture
- 34:48Speaker 1: is that she yelled at the friend that she knew.
- 34:52Speaker 1: before this all happened, the one that knows my cousin's
- 34:55Speaker 1: husband's dad, the one that told us to come to
- 34:58Speaker 1: this bar, I'm hoping she yelled at him. But I
- 35:01Speaker 1: think what really happened is she gave him the phone
- 35:04Speaker 1: back and then yelled at Big Name Athlete.
- 35:06Speaker 2: For walking away.
- 35:08Speaker 1: From, yeah, for walking away.
- 35:10Speaker 2: Gosh, damn.
- 35:11Speaker 3: Well, that is insane because obviously, maybe not the top
- 35:16Speaker 3: wing woman, but definitely top conversation starter.
- 35:19Speaker 1: She gets an A for conversations. No, because the, oh
- 35:22Speaker 1: my God, the Instagram thing is so embarrassing. Because you
- 35:24Speaker 1: want to know why? I think I'd be able to
- 35:26Speaker 1: move on from this if they didn't know me as
- 35:28Speaker 1: the Bayshore girl now. Oh, shoot. Yeah.
- 35:31Speaker 2: Do you know what I mean?
- 35:32Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 35:32Speaker 3: Because now you're forever. Like, not only is that the
- 35:34Speaker 3: case if they see it, but they will see it.
- 35:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:37Speaker 3: Because just the way your technology is, they said it
- 35:39Speaker 3: out loud. Yeah.
- 35:40Speaker 2: Their phone heard it.
- 35:41Speaker 1: Now they know who I am. And so every time
- 35:43Speaker 1: they see Bayshore, they're like, they're going to like send
- 35:44Speaker 1: it to friends. Oh, there's a girl that yelled at
- 35:46Speaker 1: us at the bar.
- 35:46Speaker 3: I think they'll think it's cool. I think it actually
- 35:48Speaker 3: does give you a leg up of like, oh, no,
- 35:50Speaker 3: she is doing stuff in the community. She's not just
- 35:51Speaker 3: like some crazy.
- 35:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:53Speaker 1: Who's interviewing single dudes on Bayshore, you know, looking like
- 35:57Speaker 1: I'm trying to get a boyfriend. But I think that's
- 35:59Speaker 1: what I'm worried it looked like. was that my mom
- 36:01Speaker 1: was like that's what i'm really embarrassed about do you
- 36:03Speaker 1: know what i'm trying to say yes like here's here's
- 36:06Speaker 1: her dating account here's my single daughter are you interested
- 36:09Speaker 1: are you interested yeah um but my mom does have
- 36:12Speaker 1: a tendency to do this i will say this is
- 36:14Speaker 1: not the first time she's done this you know what
- 36:15Speaker 1: she gets she doesn't you gotta play it cool carrie
- 36:17Speaker 1: you gotta you gotta dial.
- 36:19Speaker 3: It back And I think it's not the first time
- 36:21Speaker 3: it's happened to them either. Like if they're going to
- 36:23Speaker 3: go out in public, weirdly enough, it's like, oh, you're
- 36:25Speaker 3: kind of setting yourself up for that.
- 36:26Speaker 1: That is so valid. And I so appreciate you saying
- 36:29Speaker 1: that because I'm like, you know what? That's actually so true. Yeah.
- 36:32Speaker 2: And it could have been.
- 36:32Speaker 3: Well, I'm sure I'm actually I would bet my entire
- 36:35Speaker 3: twenty five dollars I have in my wallet that it
- 36:38Speaker 3: has happened way worse or it's like they've gone out
- 36:40Speaker 3: and it's like horrible things have happened.
- 36:42Speaker 1: So anyway.
- 36:44Speaker 2: Can't wait to see those interviews.
- 36:46Speaker 1: Yeah. This just adds to my lore.
- 36:48Speaker 2: If you do have the interview, will you bring it up?
- 36:50Speaker 3: No. Let's say they don't bring it up. You won't
- 36:52Speaker 3: be the one that brings it up?
- 36:52Speaker 1: Zero percent.
- 36:53Speaker 2: You act like it'll never happen.
- 36:54Speaker 1: I'm going to go, hey, I'm Abby from Magic 94.9.
- 36:58Speaker 1: It's so great to meet you.
- 36:59Speaker 2: Big fan. And just leave it at that.
- 37:01Speaker 1: And just leave it at that.
- 37:02Speaker 2: And if they bring it up, then you'll go in.
- 37:03Speaker 2: But if they don't bring it up, it never happened.
- 37:05Speaker 1: It does just make me more nervous going into whatever
- 37:08Speaker 1: we're going to do. Because I don't know what they're
- 37:10Speaker 1: going to have me do. I don't know if they're
- 37:11Speaker 1: going to have me interview them or do content with them.
- 37:13Speaker 1: And so I already know players hate doing press and
- 37:17Speaker 1: stuff like that. So I wonder if it's going to
- 37:19Speaker 1: be more of an eye roll. It's like, oh, my God,
- 37:20Speaker 1: here's the Bayshore girl again. Unbelievable. If it's going to
- 37:23Speaker 1: look like I've like tracked them down or something. Does
- 37:25Speaker 1: that make sense?
- 37:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:26Speaker 3: But I think at the same time, like we have
- 37:27Speaker 3: to remind ourselves that we're also doing our job. Yeah.
- 37:30Speaker 1: I might need you to go with me or something.
- 37:31Speaker 1: Just like break the ice.
- 37:32Speaker 2: I mean, hell yeah. I'm down for that.
- 37:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 37:34Speaker 2: That'd be awesome. I'd love to be in that room.
- 37:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:36Speaker 3: But it's like for us, I know a lot of
- 37:38Speaker 3: the celebrities, cause even we'll bring in, cause we brought in,
- 37:40Speaker 3: what is it? The band Camino the other day. And
- 37:42Speaker 3: it's like, to me, I think like, oh, this is cool.
- 37:45Speaker 1: And.
- 37:46Speaker 3: I also want to make it a safe, calm environment
- 37:48Speaker 3: because you literally are doing this all the time.
- 37:49Speaker 2: Not us.
- 37:50Speaker 3: Them. They're talking to people all day, every day, answering
- 37:54Speaker 3: very similar questions, going through the very similar games. And
- 37:56Speaker 3: if I let that be the one voice that speaks
- 37:58Speaker 3: up in my mind, I'm like, oh, God, I don't
- 38:00Speaker 3: want to do anything. But if I let the other voice,
- 38:02Speaker 3: it's like, oh, this is literally what you signed up for.
- 38:04Speaker 3: I have to do my job, too, sir. Then I
- 38:06Speaker 3: feel a lot better about it. Yeah.
- 38:07Speaker 2: It's like that's how I'd go into the interview about press.
- 38:08Speaker 2: I'm like, you know what?
- 38:10Speaker 3: You all literally signed up to be celebrities. This comes
- 38:13Speaker 3: with a job.
- 38:13Speaker 2: Let me do mine well, too. And it looks really
- 38:16Speaker 2: good on your Instagram. It will.
- 38:17Speaker 1: It looks... Get him out on Bayshore.
- 38:22Speaker 2: Maybe they will.
- 38:23Speaker 1: If they come shirtless, whatever.
- 38:25Speaker 3: As they should. And that's going to be my final
- 38:26Speaker 3: piece about this. This is going to sound weird. I'm
- 38:28Speaker 3: going to say it weird for the statement of it.
- 38:30Speaker 3: Why haven't more men been shirtless on your Bays on
- 38:32Speaker 3: Bayshore videos? I was like the only one.
- 38:33Speaker 1: Because I think men are equally as insecure. All roads
- 38:37Speaker 1: lead back to body dysmorphia. Welcome to unfiltered body dysmorphia
- 38:41Speaker 1: chat with Scotty and Abby.
- 38:43Speaker 2: We're all struggling, I guess.
- 38:44Speaker 1: Yeah, men are struggling just as much as women, which
- 38:46Speaker 1: I love. This is the feminism I'm fighting for.
- 38:48Speaker 2: That's an interesting way.
- 38:49Speaker 1: Oh, we missed a meeting. no we didn't yeah we
- 38:54Speaker 1: did what meeting do we have did you not get
- 38:56Speaker 1: the meeting alert for the 8 30 shuffleboard.
- 38:58Speaker 2: Meeting i thought that's at 9 30 no 8.
- 39:00Speaker 1: 30 a.m that's so funny oh whatever they don't need
- 39:04Speaker 1: us for that that's.
- 39:05Speaker 2: Four meetings in one day that's enough.
- 39:07Speaker 1: Don't they know we have bills to pay we gotta
- 39:08Speaker 1: do this podcast gosh.
- 39:09Speaker 3: Darn it well anyway thanks for all those comments on
- 39:12Speaker 3: the spotify that led back to that road and a
- 39:14Speaker 3: lot of people are rooting for you saying that uh
- 39:17Speaker 3: you know, with all the dating stories that we shared
- 39:18Speaker 3: last week, I will share this one from Aaron who said.
- 39:21Speaker 1: Can you share a nice one?
- 39:22Speaker 2: This is a good one.
- 39:22Speaker 1: You always share a comment and I'm like, we should
- 39:24Speaker 1: have talked about that before.
- 39:25Speaker 2: Yeah, you know what? You're right. Absolutely right. But the
- 39:29Speaker 2: one that Erin said was really nice.
- 39:30Speaker 3: It said, Abby, I was in the single trenches with
- 39:32Speaker 3: you the entire time you were at TBS and I
- 39:34Speaker 3: just recently found.
- 39:35Speaker 2: My man on Hinge. A couple months ago.
- 39:37Speaker 1: Hell yeah, Aaron.
- 39:38Speaker 3: Keep trying and don't be scared to give a shorter
- 39:41Speaker 3: guy a shot. My man is my height and I
- 39:43Speaker 3: realize it doesn't matter.
- 39:45Speaker 1: Aw, shout out to you, Aaron. Thanks for leaving that comment.
- 39:47Speaker 1: I did go on a hinge date on Wednesday and
- 39:49Speaker 1: I will tell you about it tomorrow.
- 39:50Speaker 3: We got another, I don't know what this name is,
- 39:52Speaker 3: but Tam something. Abby, I've been listening to you since TBS.
- 39:56Speaker 3: You are the total package. Don't lower your standards. Don't
- 39:59Speaker 3: stop being who you are. Have fun and enjoy life.
- 40:02Speaker 1: Thanks, Tam. I'm going to find myself a nice Italian man.
- 40:04Speaker 1: I'm telling you what.
- 40:05Speaker 3: You can do that whole thing in Lady and the
- 40:06Speaker 3: Tramp where it's like you eat the spaghetti together and
- 40:09Speaker 3: you meet.
- 40:09Speaker 2: In the middle.
- 40:10Speaker 1: Yeah, that's why I've been single. I just haven't been
- 40:11Speaker 1: to Italy yet.
- 40:12Speaker 2: Exactly. And now it happens in just a few days.
