Eighteen lives vanished in eighteen separate crashes across Ohio over the July Fourth weekend — a sobering toll that underscores the deadly cost of risky driving. Seat belts saved lives in eight of those tragedies, but three victims weren’t buckled up. Five crashes involved motorcycles, and tragically, three riders rode without helmets.
