- 1:33Speaker 3: but what did you expect? It's a podcast called twenty five.
- 1:37Speaker 4: Whistles twenty line wins.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Hey, welcome to the show. Blow. That was so thanks.
- 1:43Speaker 1: You got Brian Anderson coming up later. Brian called six
- 1:45Speaker 1: games over the weekend called four day one, two day two.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Can you imagine call a four basketball.
- 1:54Speaker 4: In one game? I bet you're like dreaming squeaks and
- 1:58Speaker 4: drip ball.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Dribbles and imagine all the search to do before.
- 2:02Speaker 4: Yeah too, But.
- 2:04Speaker 5: Yeah, the team's mixed up, like we're doing one game
- 2:06Speaker 5: and you just did another one. You know that'd be
- 2:07Speaker 5: kind of hard.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Yeah, you probably would though, because you're you're that's true,
- 2:10Speaker 1: you're kind of lowercase star capitol.
- 2:12Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, yeah, you probably you were met.
- 2:14Speaker 5: Yeah, that's true.
- 2:15Speaker 1: That's too big time for you. But anyway, we're gonna
- 2:17Speaker 1: be on a little bit. The interview went so well.
- 2:21Speaker 1: I I was like, hey, dude, you're cool. So I
- 2:24Speaker 1: sound my number and he text me back. Really yeah,
- 2:27Speaker 1: that easy. I guess I love that dude. But it
- 2:31Speaker 1: was awesome. So that's coming up. Uh easy, quick question?
- 2:35Speaker 1: How many brackets are you in? Don't lie too and Okay,
- 2:41Speaker 1: it mostly is are your final four teams still in?
- 2:45Speaker 1: Like you could be losing now, but if you if
- 2:47Speaker 1: you've lost one of your final four final two, you're done.
- 2:51Speaker 5: Actually one yes, the other one no, because I had
- 2:55Speaker 5: Saint John's in there.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Good for you.
- 2:57Speaker 4: So when you ask, when you ask the question how
- 3:00Speaker 4: many brackets do you have, it's like how many? Like yeah,
- 3:05Speaker 4: but is it like one bracket, like did you pick
- 3:07Speaker 4: the same teams for.
- 3:08Speaker 1: The No, what's how many are you in overall?
- 3:12Speaker 4: Because like because like some people like they have one
- 3:14Speaker 4: bracket but they enter I'm.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Familiar with the game. Yeah, I'm asking how many are
- 3:19Speaker 1: you in?
- 3:20Speaker 5: Okay, but you have one? Like one is your main
- 3:23Speaker 5: bracket you.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Have to write. I'm asking how many are you in?
- 3:27Speaker 6: Too?
- 3:27Speaker 1: Thank you Eddie.
- 3:30Speaker 4: Three.
- 3:30Speaker 1: That's not about you, guys. I'm nobody's judging I have three.
- 3:35Speaker 4: Weird because people judge me and I have three different brackets.
- 3:39Speaker 4: I'm in three different brackets, and I have three different picks,
- 3:42Speaker 4: so I have three different variations of.
- 3:44Speaker 1: And that's the ability. I mean that I wouldn't do that.
- 3:46Speaker 1: That's a loser thing to.
- 3:47Speaker 4: Do, but that's exactly what.
- 3:50Speaker 1: But I'm just, oh my god. I think there's one
- 3:52Speaker 1: that you do immediately when they're announced, one that you
- 3:55Speaker 1: do with your head, one that you can do with
- 3:56Speaker 1: your heart.
- 3:57Speaker 4: Interesting.
- 3:58Speaker 1: I think if you do those three, that's okay. But
- 4:01Speaker 1: still it's kind of like loser because it's like you
- 4:03Speaker 1: got three chances.
- 4:05Speaker 4: Yeah, yeh, that's it's like insurance.
- 4:06Speaker 1: But honestly, I don't care enough to have a real
- 4:08Speaker 1: emotion about it. I was just wondering how many you
- 4:11Speaker 1: are in?
- 4:11Speaker 4: So I do one that I really believe in, Like
- 4:14Speaker 4: this is what I watched basketball all season.
- 4:16Speaker 1: I guess it's the one doing the best in. Yeah, okay,
- 4:19Speaker 1: thank you, thanks for being honest.
- 4:21Speaker 4: And then I try to do a cute one where
- 4:23Speaker 4: I'm like, oh, give me Clemson to go all the
- 4:25Speaker 4: way and then you lose it at first round.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Really nice, that's rough, Yeah, cute.
- 4:30Speaker 4: I only did one.
- 4:31Speaker 7: I just went with my gut, but it's completely dismantled.
- 4:34Speaker 1: So I did one, and I only I wasn't going
- 4:38Speaker 1: to do any but I have a friend who's the
- 4:40Speaker 1: assistant athletic director at or Roberts, and he was like, hey,
- 4:42Speaker 1: would you mind getting in because if you do, then
- 4:44Speaker 1: I'll be like, Bobby Bones is in it, so other
- 4:45Speaker 1: people will get in. And so I'm in that one
- 4:48Speaker 1: and I think there's like one hundred people. I'm fourth
- 4:51Speaker 1: right now. It doesn't matter right now. It's good, yes,
- 4:53Speaker 1: but it doesn't matter because you get the most points
- 4:59Speaker 1: whenever your team are advancing to eight, four and two. Yeah,
- 5:02Speaker 1: so I am fourth right now. I will say this though,
- 5:05Speaker 1: that my winner is still in it, baby, because I'm
- 5:08Speaker 1: a bracket. I forgot what I said the day of
- 5:10Speaker 1: the show. But I'm in the top ninety eight percent
- 5:13Speaker 1: overall all ESPN.
- 5:15Speaker 4: Okay, wow, I don't know if that's good or not
- 5:17Speaker 4: it sounds good. I agree whatever it means, it sounds awesome. Yeah,
- 5:22Speaker 4: it sounds good.
- 5:23Speaker 1: But I have Auburn to win, so if they win
- 5:27Speaker 1: the whole thing, I think I'll end up winning this bracket.
- 5:30Speaker 4: Do you like that pick? Though, like after watching kind
- 5:32Speaker 4: of how everyone's performing so far.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Sure, I mean, Duke looks awesome, but Dude looked awesome,
- 5:37Speaker 1: And I'm just not gonna pick Duke. But Duke looks awesome.
- 5:40Speaker 4: Duke is destroying everyone that comes in.
- 5:42Speaker 1: It looks so good. Yesterday I lost a lot of
- 5:46Speaker 1: money on Kentucky yesterday, not because I did not. Illinois
- 5:51Speaker 1: was a two and a half point favorite I think
- 5:53Speaker 1: before the game, so I didn't touch it because I
- 5:55Speaker 1: thought Kentucky would win the game anyway. Yeah, but I
- 5:58Speaker 1: I had like nine hundred bucks in my I have
- 6:00Speaker 1: Kings account, and because I did put a thousand on
- 6:03Speaker 1: Auburn to win the whole thing.
- 6:05Speaker 4: That's cool. And they were how what were their odds
- 6:08Speaker 4: at the beginning?
- 6:10Speaker 1: I think there were plus four hundred.
- 6:11Speaker 4: That's very good.
- 6:12Speaker 1: So whatever money I had in I bet Illinois plus
- 6:18Speaker 1: eight and a half and I think that it was
- 6:19Speaker 1: a by nine or something like that at the end
- 6:22Speaker 1: or something like that, or if they made the final shot.
- 6:25Speaker 1: So I lost a lot of money on that one.
- 6:26Speaker 4: But if you're betting, if you're betting a lot of upsets,
- 6:30Speaker 4: you had a bad weekend. Yeah, I bet it damuch
- 6:33Speaker 4: mad that much.
- 6:34Speaker 3: Mad.
- 6:35Speaker 1: I was out of the country, so I can only
- 6:37Speaker 1: bet it.
- 6:37Speaker 4: You lucked out. I'm telling you lucked out.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Like I'm as you can see here, I'm fourth overall
- 6:42Speaker 1: in this group at or Roberts University of Golden Eagles,
- 6:45Speaker 1: and I have Auburn because they have Duke. No one
- 6:49Speaker 1: player has Duke, but only up by twenty points. Nobody's
- 6:52Speaker 1: pretty close.
- 6:52Speaker 4: You got everyone different too, above you Florida.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Florida, Houston, Michigan State, and I have Auburn.
- 6:58Speaker 4: Wow.
- 6:58Speaker 5: Nice.
- 6:59Speaker 1: So somebody Saint John's at eight loser? Hey the Arkansas
- 7:03Speaker 1: Kansas game?
- 7:05Speaker 3: I want.
- 7:07Speaker 1: I watched that thing at two o'clock in the morning
- 7:10Speaker 1: at a hotel in Vienna, Austria, on a phone. I
- 7:14Speaker 1: wasn't even getting like a legitimate feed because nothing. You
- 7:18Speaker 1: can't YouTube TV, what else ESPN they will. First of all,
- 7:24Speaker 1: you can't watch them outside of America. Second of all,
- 7:27Speaker 1: you can't even get a VPN. They're they're smart enough
- 7:29Speaker 1: to know they're being VPND. So there's nothing I could do.
- 7:32Speaker 1: So I had to like find any but I stayed
- 7:33Speaker 1: up watched the whole thing. We won. It was awesome.
- 7:35Speaker 1: And then I did something that I claim I never do.
- 7:42Speaker 1: I did something that I'm not proud of. I did
- 7:46Speaker 1: something I hope I never have to do again.
- 7:48Speaker 4: Oh my goodness, what are we talking about here?
- 7:50Speaker 1: I know? And it happened Saturday afternoon. So Saturday afternoon,
- 7:58Speaker 1: we were getting on a flight flying back from Austria. No,
- 8:04Speaker 1: we flew to London, Austria, London, London, back to Nashville
- 8:09Speaker 1: because it's a direct flight from Nashville to London. It's awesome,
- 8:12Speaker 1: I've done it.
- 8:12Speaker 4: It's it's sweet.
- 8:13Speaker 1: It is right crazy, And so I'm like, I'll just
- 8:16Speaker 1: get the game. Was that like to just watch it?
- 8:19Speaker 1: Get on the flight. Can't wait. It's a nine hour flight,
- 8:21Speaker 1: but I'm watching him on the flight. Cut cut the
- 8:22Speaker 1: thing half? Uh would sorry to let you guys know
- 8:25Speaker 1: we don't have internet.
- 8:26Speaker 4: No, no, it's the worst thing you can hear.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Nine hours. First of all, just straight out nine hours
- 8:32Speaker 1: no internet. That sucks. Two, the game was on while
- 8:36Speaker 1: I was on the flight. There was a whole purpose
- 8:38Speaker 1: of the whole thing, and I'm like, no, you got
- 8:39Speaker 1: to be kidding me. I'm like trying to troubleshoot the
- 8:41Speaker 1: whole plane. Like I'm now the guy that's trying to
- 8:43Speaker 1: fix the internet for the whole plane, just so I can.
- 8:46Speaker 1: And they're like, Sarah, we're not gonna have there's no
- 8:49Speaker 1: Wi Fi.
- 8:50Speaker 4: They shouldn't let the plane leave the ground.
- 8:52Speaker 1: And it's like I would have stayed. I would have
- 8:55Speaker 1: stayed back for a four hour later watch it. I
- 8:58Speaker 1: literally would have some I'm pissed, but there's nobody to
- 9:01Speaker 1: be pissed at, so it's a weird. It's like just
- 9:04Speaker 1: I'm pissed.
- 9:06Speaker 4: But I'm confused, can't do anything about it.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Where to send this emotion. And my wife knows I'm upset.
- 9:11Speaker 1: She's like, there's nothing you can do. So this is
- 9:14Speaker 1: what I do. So I get on up, get on
- 9:16Speaker 1: the plane. You can't text me because there's no Wi Fi.
- 9:20Speaker 1: That's good, obviously there's no cell About thirty minutes before
- 9:24Speaker 1: we land, I shut my phone off smart I do
- 9:27Speaker 1: not have my phone on for six hours. I know
- 9:32Speaker 1: because I have YouTube TV every game, they have every
- 9:34Speaker 1: game recorded. I go and I do my fingers over
- 9:37Speaker 1: my eyes. You know how little kids will do peaky
- 9:38Speaker 1: boo with I turn my YouTube TV on. I do
- 9:42Speaker 1: peaky boo only to see the one little part of
- 9:45Speaker 1: it where I can catch the game and a hit play.
- 9:47Speaker 1: I pull back my phone stayed off the entire game.
- 9:51Speaker 1: I watched the entire game.
- 9:52Speaker 4: Wow and how how delayed.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Four and a half five hours. I am not mister
- 10:00Speaker 1: watch live sports recorded. I hate it because I hate
- 10:02Speaker 1: having to avoid everything. But I waited the whole year
- 10:05Speaker 1: for this, the whole every game is for this, and
- 10:08Speaker 1: to watch this play Saint John's and we won it
- 10:10Speaker 1: got ty for a little bit. It did, it did. Yeah,
- 10:13Speaker 1: but I I did Peaky Boo on my fingers. I
- 10:16Speaker 1: wouldn't see people were texting me. Luckily my phone wasn't
- 10:19Speaker 1: on at all because people were texting me soon as
- 10:21Speaker 1: the game was over.
- 10:21Speaker 6: Like, oh my god.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Yeah, So I tried my phone back on though it
- 10:25Speaker 1: was when once the game was over, because I wouldn't
- 10:27Speaker 1: turn it on during the game. Yeah, So left it
- 10:30Speaker 1: off and watched it. Awesome. We're going sweet sixteen Texas
- 10:34Speaker 1: Tech next. I hope we kicked the crap out of him.
- 10:36Speaker 1: I like Texas Tech that we had to coach on.
- 10:38Speaker 1: He was awesome. So uh yeah, that was it.
- 10:41Speaker 5: That's it, the one, the one bright spot though. You
- 10:44Speaker 5: got to fast forward through commercials.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Right, No, I suffered through them, like I should.
- 10:48Speaker 6: They want to do it.
- 10:49Speaker 1: They paid it the Capital one one commercials in a
- 10:55Speaker 1: half time you even half to listening. They deserve to
- 10:58Speaker 1: make me watch this.
- 11:01Speaker 4: So but but the rule there though, is you got
- 11:03Speaker 4: to text. Like I first off, I didn't even think
- 11:06Speaker 4: about texting you both games because like I don't know
- 11:09Speaker 4: where you are, I don't know if you're watching. I
- 11:11Speaker 4: just didn't want to, not want to risk that. But
- 11:13Speaker 4: the rule is like you start with a you watching,
- 11:16Speaker 4: and if you get no response, you don't talk about
- 11:18Speaker 4: the game.
- 11:19Speaker 6: It's like a U up, yes, well.
- 11:21Speaker 1: I didn't think about that. I just think that's it,
- 11:24Speaker 1: you know.
- 11:25Speaker 4: I like that rule. You watching, and then if it's silence,
- 11:28Speaker 4: you'd be like, Okay, they might not be watching, so
- 11:30Speaker 4: I'm not going to ruin this for them.
- 11:31Speaker 5: I've never heard that either.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I've not heard that. I don't mind it though,
- 11:34Speaker 1: but I just had turned everything off. There's no getting
- 11:37Speaker 1: a hold of me. And it worked. It rarely rarely
- 11:40Speaker 1: does with sports that are recorded. Yeah, almost impossible, especially
- 11:43Speaker 1: if it's a game. It's a Top twenty five game
- 11:45Speaker 1: or a tournament game or a playoff game football, it's
- 11:49Speaker 1: impossible to avoid it. So I was I was off
- 11:51Speaker 1: the off the.
- 11:52Speaker 4: Grid, Really you were. Did you have a feeling though, like,
- 11:56Speaker 4: what was your internal feeling while the game was going?
- 11:59Speaker 1: To tell you this and I don't like it, and
- 12:03Speaker 1: I've not told her this, but my wife comes in
- 12:08Speaker 1: because she looks up the game and as soon as
- 12:12Speaker 1: we land, she looks it up and she doesn't say
- 12:14Speaker 1: anything to me, but she walks in and as the
- 12:17Speaker 1: game is like midway through the first half, and she goes,
- 12:20Speaker 1: I know, well, your mood's going to be like when
- 12:23Speaker 1: this game is over, and she walked out.
- 12:26Speaker 5: That's brutal.
- 12:27Speaker 4: But I like it because it can go either way.
- 12:30Speaker 1: But you know, the way that I took it was
- 12:32Speaker 1: we won, and I never take it that we win.
- 12:37Speaker 1: I didn't like that. I wish you wouldn't have done that.
- 12:41Speaker 4: So you did have the gut instinct that you had won.
- 12:44Speaker 1: It was only instinct because there was real no data.
- 12:50Speaker 1: It was just how she said it, And then I
- 12:51Speaker 1: started evaluating why she would have said it. Would she
- 12:53Speaker 1: have come and said that had she known I was
- 12:55Speaker 1: going to be here, So then I'm doing mental gymnastics.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Never feel like we're gonna win, but I felt like
- 13:01Speaker 1: we were going to pull through it because she did that,
- 13:05Speaker 1: So we want work sixteenths awesome, that's great. Yeah, thank you.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Anybody else's team is still in a team, have a team? No, No,
- 13:17Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 13:19Speaker 4: I was reading for Lipscomb, but now they didn't do
- 13:21Speaker 4: it and they kind of jumped out.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean the boat like went off the shore
- 13:25Speaker 1: and they jumped on me quickly. Tense is awesome though.
- 13:28Speaker 5: Yeah, it was great.
- 13:28Speaker 1: And they're playing Kentucky. Kentucky to beat him twice already,
- 13:30Speaker 1: but I got a feeling that ain't gona happen. But
- 13:34Speaker 1: the other thing that sucks about the Arkansas game is
- 13:36Speaker 1: it's in San Francisco next round.
- 13:38Speaker 4: That's a long travel.
- 13:39Speaker 1: It's the farthest place I could possibly go.
- 13:41Speaker 4: But they're playing text so they need to travel that
- 13:43Speaker 4: far too.
- 13:44Speaker 1: But I'm talking about for me, you don't get by
- 13:47Speaker 1: you know what it does the team playing in Soul Korea.
- 13:51Speaker 1: I'm talking about me getting there.
- 13:55Speaker 6: Night.
- 13:55Speaker 1: So I can't go because it's this show.
- 13:57Speaker 5: I was wondering.
- 13:58Speaker 1: I was like, can I go if if it were
- 14:00Speaker 1: a Friday, could possibly make that because I'm gonna go
- 14:04Speaker 1: fill in for rich Eisen for a couple of days
- 14:05Speaker 1: in La next week. Nice and so, but I can't
- 14:09Speaker 1: do a Thursday.
- 14:11Speaker 5: Well, if they win, I know you probably don't want
- 14:14Speaker 5: to talk about that.
- 14:14Speaker 4: Where did they go that.
- 14:15Speaker 5: Saturday they play against in San Francisco?
- 14:17Speaker 6: I don't.
- 14:17Speaker 1: I don't talk about it. I don't Okay, okay, okay,
- 14:19Speaker 1: we don't talk about that. Yeah, yeah, we don't talk
- 14:23Speaker 1: about But it was it was cool. It's cool to win.
- 14:27Speaker 1: I mean, we've gone to this Sweet sixteen like three
- 14:29Speaker 1: the last four years, I think. But still it's always
- 14:31Speaker 1: it's crazy because for so long we didn't, but must
- 14:33Speaker 1: was great and count we sucked this year for a
- 14:35Speaker 1: lot of the year we got. It didn't matter. This
- 14:39Speaker 1: is not an arkisas the show, but anyway, it was good.
- 14:41Speaker 5: Was it cool for you to go against Patino?
- 14:42Speaker 6: Too?
- 14:43Speaker 5: Like the whole Calipari Patino thing? Because for me, as
- 14:45Speaker 5: a fan with like no real dog in the fight.
- 14:46Speaker 1: I was like, this is great.
- 14:47Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 14:48Speaker 4: No, they made that on TV like they kind of
- 14:50Speaker 4: made that a little bit suspect.
- 14:52Speaker 5: Hall of Fame coaches.
- 14:53Speaker 1: It wasn't cool for me personally because I I'm not
- 14:55Speaker 1: a Kentucky guy. It's true, like history wise, that's kind
- 14:58Speaker 1: of cool. But they've already play each other before. If
- 15:00Speaker 1: it was the first time, it had been different, I think,
- 15:02Speaker 1: and I was, I'm not a Kentucky guy, so I
- 15:04Speaker 1: can give a crap. All Kentucky was shooting for Saint
- 15:06Speaker 1: John's because they want Caw to lose. But b Yu
- 15:10Speaker 1: Sweet sixteen. Pope left b Yu to go to Kentucky's.
- 15:13Speaker 1: They thought by you would fall off. They didn't.
- 15:15Speaker 5: They look great, Uh b Yu.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, Cal left Arkansas to left Kentucky go to Arkansas.
- 15:22Speaker 1: So they thought Kentucky would fall off. They didn't because
- 15:23Speaker 1: Pope's there. Arkansas didn't because they didn't. Because so all
- 15:27Speaker 1: three of the teams that are in that little love
- 15:28Speaker 1: triangle are still Sweet sixteen.
- 15:30Speaker 4: And and does Patino have a son that coaches.
- 15:32Speaker 1: To Uh, he would and watch his son. He's a
- 15:35Speaker 1: coach player coach now he's a coach too. Yeah, I
- 15:38Speaker 1: did see him.
- 15:38Speaker 4: Yesterday, like, that's weird that he's in the sands with then.
- 15:41Speaker 6: Was it?
- 15:41Speaker 1: N I t or I think he's on New Mexico. Yeah,
- 15:45Speaker 1: I was an assistant coach. No, he's the main guy
- 15:48Speaker 1: he is. Yeah, I have no idea.
- 15:50Speaker 4: I did not know that a scarf or something, and.
- 15:52Speaker 5: I didn't I didn't see him.
- 15:54Speaker 1: I heard him talking about I've been so tired for
- 15:57Speaker 1: like last week. It was just you the scarf, wasn't
- 15:59Speaker 1: that was you. I had no idea how to wear one.
- 16:01Speaker 1: I'll be with you. It was cold. We were in Paris.
- 16:04Speaker 1: It was freaking cold, and so I had the coat
- 16:06Speaker 1: and I told my wife person I went up, my
- 16:08Speaker 1: face hurts and my neck hurts. She was, I have
- 16:10Speaker 1: two scarves. I was like okay, And I put it
- 16:13Speaker 1: on and all I did was wrap it like toilet paper.
- 16:17Speaker 1: And she was like, it looks like you were on
- 16:18Speaker 1: a neck brace. And I was like, well, I don't
- 16:20Speaker 1: know how to wear a scarf. So then I put
- 16:22Speaker 1: it on and I took it and I did the thing,
- 16:24Speaker 1: and she goes, well, now you look like Edgar Allan Poe.
- 16:26Speaker 1: But we'll just go with that. So I wore that
- 16:28Speaker 1: and then We went into side of a store and
- 16:30Speaker 1: they were selling scarves and I saw how they were
- 16:34Speaker 1: and they were hung on like poles, but like like
- 16:36Speaker 1: like a tie kind of thing. So I started wearing that.
- 16:38Speaker 1: I felt much cooler.
- 16:39Speaker 4: There there you go.
- 16:40Speaker 1: But they do help, though, don't they game change?
- 16:43Speaker 5: I never wore one in California obviously, and then here
- 16:46Speaker 5: with the blizzards, I'm like, oh my gosh, these are amazing.
- 16:48Speaker 4: Yeah, you guys wear vests.
- 16:50Speaker 1: No, never wear vest I would wear them fishing. We
- 16:53Speaker 1: had different different I mean for warm no never, I
- 16:56Speaker 1: never understand. And I was like, why would I I
- 16:57Speaker 1: want my arms to be warm too, correct I wear
- 17:00Speaker 1: vest guys, Yeah, I don't get it, like only your
- 17:03Speaker 1: nipples get cold.
- 17:04Speaker 5: It's different. Well, you wear a long sleeve underneath. That's
- 17:08Speaker 5: kind of like a style thing too, you know.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Okay, quickly around the room, I what's your headline for
- 17:13Speaker 1: March Madness so far? If you had to give me
- 17:16Speaker 1: one single headline, I'll go to you first, Eddie.
- 17:19Speaker 4: I'm gonna go with the McNeice trainer or a manager
- 17:23Speaker 4: team manager who like was famous for two days. That's
- 17:26Speaker 4: pretty awesome. Too bad your team's out. You're no longer there,
- 17:28Speaker 4: but the cheerleaders had socks with his face on it.
- 17:32Speaker 4: Players had socks with his face on it. He got
- 17:34Speaker 4: an ni L deal out of it. I think now
- 17:37Speaker 4: he's going, yeah, that's crazy, so good for that kid, man.
- 17:44Speaker 1: I like Will Wade. I I don't care. I was
- 17:50Speaker 1: on some calls when Arkantasll hired Calipari CALIPERI. I still
- 17:56Speaker 1: get confused on which one's That's why I had no idea,
- 18:02Speaker 1: Like there there are certain boosters that know stuff. There's
- 18:05Speaker 1: the next level that knows after the certain and I'm
- 18:07Speaker 1: usually either in the top ish tier or the secondary
- 18:11Speaker 1: of the top ist tier, like I usually find out
- 18:12Speaker 1: pretty quick. I had no idea they were hiring coach
- 18:15Speaker 1: cal right and I was on a call about Will
- 18:19Speaker 1: hiring Will Wade and what I thought about it, how
- 18:24Speaker 1: can we get money for it? It was very unofficial.
- 18:28Speaker 1: There was I'll just say this, there's nobody from the
- 18:31Speaker 1: university on the call, but I Will Wade get in
- 18:35Speaker 1: trouble LSU for you know, being recorded paying the player
- 18:38Speaker 1: that cause all this time basic Now Yeah, it's like
- 18:42Speaker 1: Reggie Bush, You're bad. It's like it's all legal getting out. Yeah,
- 18:46Speaker 1: it gets the Heisman back. I love will Wade because
- 18:49Speaker 1: I hated Will Wade because Will Wade was out of
- 18:53Speaker 1: control and maldi and but he won. Same reason. People
- 18:56Speaker 1: don't like coach col More Muss. I'd say, my big energy,
- 19:03Speaker 1: big energy guys. I really like Will Wade. I wanted
- 19:06Speaker 1: to be the coach at Arkansas. That was my pick
- 19:08Speaker 1: to be the coach at Arkansas until coach Cock came
- 19:09Speaker 1: out of nowhere and John Tyson paid six million dollars.
- 19:12Speaker 4: They're like, that's a pretty good pick.
- 19:13Speaker 1: I was like, you know what, Hey, what do I know?
- 19:14Speaker 6: We'll roll with that.
- 19:15Speaker 1: But yeah, well Wade's going to North Carolina State. But
- 19:17Speaker 1: he didn't sign his contract, and for a while they
- 19:19Speaker 1: were acting like, hey, he still hasn't signed. Even after
- 19:22Speaker 1: they won their first round game, they were like, in Texas,
- 19:25Speaker 1: that job still hasn't been filled. Now the Texas job
- 19:27Speaker 1: has been filled because the Xavier coach is going over,
- 19:30Speaker 1: which he's been Xavier for a while, right, Sean, Sean,
- 19:34Speaker 1: Sean body, But yeah, yeah, Xavier coach is Sean.
- 19:43Speaker 5: Oh, Sean Miller.
- 19:44Speaker 7: Thank you Arizona, the Arizona guy, Yeah, exactly before before.
- 19:49Speaker 1: How long was he in Arizona a little while, the
- 19:52Speaker 1: said for.
- 19:52Speaker 6: A bit and then they were there in Gordon.
- 19:53Speaker 1: How long is he? But how long has he been
- 19:55Speaker 1: at Xavier? It feels like he's been ten years, has
- 19:57Speaker 1: he not?
- 19:57Speaker 4: Honestly, at this point, he probably has been.
- 20:00Speaker 5: Savior three years? Yeah, zoned for twelve.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Oh yeah, congrats to him. He's going to the Texas
- 20:10Speaker 1: job that just for some reason can't win. I mean
- 20:13Speaker 1: even with Shaka Smart who then now goes to MA.
- 20:16Speaker 1: He went, he goes to Marquette, lives in freaking Milwaukee
- 20:18Speaker 1: and wins now and uh but headline good one, Kevin.
- 20:23Speaker 5: Yeah, mine is. And I'm not just saying this because
- 20:25Speaker 5: we had Brian Andison on today, but the announcers I
- 20:28Speaker 5: realize are the best during March Madness, and like, from
- 20:31Speaker 5: top to bottom, every single team and every broadcast, which
- 20:35Speaker 5: is very rare to find, especially when there's so many
- 20:37Speaker 5: games going on. I feel like are just top notch,
- 20:39Speaker 5: every single one.
- 20:40Speaker 1: And I'm gonna agree with you in that you never
- 20:43Speaker 1: really pay attention to good announcing until you hear a
- 20:46Speaker 1: lot of bad and because and this is a testament
- 20:51Speaker 1: to how good it is. But I like ESPN, what's
- 20:56Speaker 1: it called. They've all been no, no, ESPN plus yes
- 21:01Speaker 1: where they have everything right. So then anybody get to
- 21:03Speaker 1: announce a game. It's like they draw from a hat
- 21:05Speaker 1: and if you if you yes, you get to you
- 21:07Speaker 1: get to call a game. It's so bad sometimes.
- 21:10Speaker 4: Like college kids calling the game or yeah for small
- 21:13Speaker 4: schools school even for like Arkansas c C games, they
- 21:16Speaker 4: have bad announcers.
- 21:17Speaker 1: Yeah, and you're like, god, this is terrible. So then
- 21:21Speaker 1: whenever the real rules go, you're like, man, it does
- 21:24Speaker 1: make a lot of difference. Yeah, I did see, maybe
- 21:29Speaker 1: it was. He's one of the Fab five. Jalen Rose
- 21:33Speaker 1: is Jalen Rose talking about Now I'm going to say it.
- 21:37Speaker 1: I'm going to say how he said it, So I'm
- 21:38Speaker 1: not saying it wrong, but I'm gonna say how he
- 21:39Speaker 1: said it. They had him on I'm ninety percent sure
- 21:41Speaker 1: as Jalen Rose as a college basketball expert, and he
- 21:44Speaker 1: kept talking about Johnny Broom.
- 21:45Speaker 4: Oh no, not Jani.
- 21:49Speaker 1: You're like, okay, how much basketball be you?
- 21:51Speaker 4: Really you should know Jani Broom right now?
- 21:54Speaker 5: Yeah, that's not good.
- 21:55Speaker 1: That's not good. And trust me, I've messed up every
- 21:57Speaker 1: name in the world and tried to do but it's
- 21:59Speaker 1: some somebody should have been there for him and been like, hey,
- 22:02Speaker 1: you're gonna talk about this guy, you know how to
- 22:03Speaker 1: say it right. We did a whole thing today where
- 22:06Speaker 1: I couldn't say Bemini or some island, and Kevin's right
- 22:10Speaker 1: beside me, going Nope, you're not saying it right. You're
- 22:11Speaker 1: not saying it right. You gotta have that, or you're
- 22:13Speaker 1: just gonna look like a fool. All right, good, good,
- 22:16Speaker 1: good casey.
- 22:18Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 22:18Speaker 7: I mean, I just wish there was a little bit
- 22:19Speaker 7: more madness. I just feel like a lot of these
- 22:21Speaker 7: lower seeds were like right there to beat a lot
- 22:23Speaker 7: of these favorites, and they would always blow it. So
- 22:25Speaker 7: I felt like that that buzzer beat of that Maryland
- 22:28Speaker 7: hit against Colorado State, that was like the first like
- 22:31Speaker 7: actual madness moments and that was late.
- 22:33Speaker 4: That was like late. Yes, yeah, so.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Lack of madness, madness. Every once in a while we
- 22:40Speaker 1: get a lack of madness. Sometimes we get a lot
- 22:42Speaker 1: of madness.
- 22:43Speaker 7: Yeah, but just watch a little a little bit more
- 22:45Speaker 7: mad that.
- 22:46Speaker 1: I watched the Colorado State Maryland game. Yeah, how about that?
- 22:50Speaker 6: That was awesome?
- 22:51Speaker 1: Like that's yeah, Yeah, I wish it had been a
- 22:53Speaker 1: little deeper. I'm be honest with you. You know, even
- 22:56Speaker 1: that madness was kind of like right outside the lane.
- 22:58Speaker 1: It's a little madness.
- 22:59Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, the three was awesome, Yes, yeah, I mean
- 23:02Speaker 4: is this something we're gonna be having to get used
- 23:04Speaker 4: to though, Like with the first round, just kind of
- 23:06Speaker 4: being like, all right, there may not be a lot
- 23:08Speaker 4: of upsets because these teams are so stacked.
- 23:10Speaker 1: Now I'm gonna say that. This is why I'm gonna
- 23:12Speaker 1: say no, the same reason college football is starting to
- 23:16Speaker 1: have more parody as well, because these players. You only
- 23:18Speaker 1: have so much money to go around for so many players.
- 23:20Speaker 1: You're not gonna be able to pay eight players big money.
- 23:23Speaker 1: You can pay three, four, maybe five, and then you
- 23:26Speaker 1: got some bench six, seven, eight guys that aren't as good.
- 23:28Speaker 1: So those other players are going to go to the
- 23:30Speaker 1: mid schools. So I think you're going to see that
- 23:32Speaker 1: happen where there's going to be an extreme amount of
- 23:35Speaker 1: parody in college basketball as well. The difference is though
- 23:39Speaker 1: some schools will go way more in on college basketball,
- 23:42Speaker 1: Like if they know they can't win a football, sure
- 23:43Speaker 1: they'll not put any money football and put it into basketball.
- 23:45Speaker 1: But I'm going to say no, I would think if
- 23:48Speaker 1: anything will slightly tilt the other way, and then when
- 23:53Speaker 1: somebody has a good run, then they This is like
- 23:56Speaker 1: a show off. It's like an audition for other teams.
- 23:58Speaker 1: If you're like a mid major that makes the tournament
- 24:01Speaker 1: and you play, well, that's your audition to go play
- 24:02Speaker 1: for all the big boys year.
- 24:04Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 24:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I was.
- 24:04Speaker 5: I think I was watching u n C Wilmington and
- 24:06Speaker 5: there's some kid on there was like, Oh, he's going
- 24:08Speaker 5: somewhere Big Nicks.
- 24:09Speaker 1: Even if they yes, even if they hadn't like playing,
- 24:12Speaker 1: because the portal just opened like Mondays today something like that.
- 24:16Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 24:18Speaker 1: Yeah, and my headline is gonna be a wolf freaking pig.
- 24:23Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Like to draw Kansas first, that kind of sucked because
- 24:25Speaker 1: I'm like, I gotta play a blue blood.
- 24:26Speaker 4: That's a great game too.
- 24:27Speaker 1: Yeah, they're gonna get the calls they and yeah, good
- 24:31Speaker 1: game we got on. Yeah. And then against Saint John,
- 24:36Speaker 1: I thought, Okay, they're gonna get their TV matchup Calipari
- 24:39Speaker 1: and and and Patino. And what's gonna happen is because
- 24:42Speaker 1: Saint John's been a media darling. It's New York City. Nope,
- 24:46Speaker 1: they couldn't. They couldn't our best players is still out.
- 24:49Speaker 1: He hasn't played in a month and a half. Our
- 24:53Speaker 1: guard not Arkansas podcast, but they're sweet talking about them.
- 24:58Speaker 1: He was only gonna play like twelve minutes. You end
- 24:59Speaker 1: up playing like two too played, Buggy Flan played a
- 25:01Speaker 1: bunch of Yeah, so it's good.
- 25:04Speaker 5: There's some crazy names out there, by the way.
- 25:06Speaker 1: I'm excited.
- 25:07Speaker 5: Yeah, like watching the games Colorado State.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Uh, and he shot I think three threes in a row.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Penis scrot him.
- 25:17Speaker 4: I could.
- 25:17Speaker 1: I think it's Tom, but yeah, he's foreign.
- 25:21Speaker 4: Thos are going straight in.
- 25:23Speaker 1: Let's trade in look.
- 25:28Speaker 6: Stupid.
- 25:30Speaker 1: Thank you? All right, Mike will take a quick break. Yep,
- 25:34Speaker 1: all right, let's take a quick break, and then when
- 25:36Speaker 1: we come back, we'll go with talk to Brian Anderson.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Let's talk about pick six for a second. Hey, I'm
- 25:41Speaker 1: gonna say this too. Let's say you're somewhere and you
- 25:43Speaker 1: haven't been able to use Draft King sports book because
- 25:45Speaker 1: I don't know, maybe your state's and like, ah, that's
- 25:48Speaker 1: all I can do is was uh let me recommend
- 25:52Speaker 1: pick six because ah, yeah you can.
- 25:59Speaker 3: Uh.
- 25:59Speaker 1: Pis awesome. Download the pick six app from DraftKings. It's
- 26:04Speaker 1: called draft DraftKings pick six. You select two or more players,
- 26:07Speaker 1: and you choose stats to choose teams choose all have
- 26:09Speaker 1: more or less of a stat. Pick six is available
- 26:13Speaker 1: in states like California, like Texas, like Missouri and more.
- 26:19Speaker 1: There are certain things we can't get save, but I'm
- 26:21Speaker 1: just saying you can do this a lot of places.
- 26:23Speaker 1: Uh so, uh some stats to pick so coming up
- 26:27Speaker 1: on Thursday, Cooper Flag for Duke more or less than
- 26:30Speaker 1: nineteen points. He The thing about Cooper Flag, I've watched
- 26:35Speaker 1: him probably five games, and not five full games, but
- 26:39Speaker 1: five games. He reminds me a bit. Which player do
- 26:44Speaker 1: you think he reminds me of? If I say this,
- 26:46Speaker 1: if you want to score twenty three points, you will,
- 26:48Speaker 1: But if he wants to have eleven assists and four points,
- 26:50Speaker 1: he also will College or NBA NBA, And it doesn't matter.
- 26:57Speaker 1: Like he wants.
- 26:58Speaker 5: Lebron stuff that's not Luca.
- 27:02Speaker 1: If he does. If this NBA player I'm thinking of,
- 27:04Speaker 1: if he doesn't score twenty points, I don't care. Give
- 27:06Speaker 1: him eleven assists and ten rebounds.
- 27:08Speaker 5: And two Russell Westbrook, he just keep the naming.
- 27:14Speaker 4: Jo Jayson Tatum, jok nice, thank.
- 27:17Speaker 1: You, because Jokic don't care. Joki just wants to win.
- 27:21Speaker 1: And if he's just gonna play YMC ball and the
- 27:23Speaker 1: thirty two assists and scored none, he's going to I
- 27:27Speaker 1: kind of get that feeling a little bit with Cooper Flag.
- 27:29Speaker 1: He just wants to win. He just wants to win.
- 27:31Speaker 1: But so they're more or less of nineteen points, it
- 27:34Speaker 1: feels easy to go more just because the numbers only nineteen.
- 27:37Speaker 1: But if they don't need him to score nineteen and
- 27:39Speaker 1: they're I'm gonna stay away from that one.
- 27:44Speaker 4: But what's so cool about this pick six, though, is
- 27:45Speaker 4: you never really get to play college players ever in
- 27:49Speaker 4: any of these kinds of games. Good point, so this
- 27:51Speaker 4: is fun.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Janelle Davis also does Nellie Davis for Arkansas more or
- 27:55Speaker 1: less than twelve points. I'm going more on that one
- 27:57Speaker 1: against Texas Tech. Yeah, Tyre's Proctor for Duke, I'm gonna
- 28:01Speaker 1: go more than fourteen, like I feel like he needs
- 28:06Speaker 1: his points. JT Toppin for Texas Tech. I'm gonna go
- 28:09Speaker 1: less than nineteen just because I don't want him.
- 28:12Speaker 4: Just putting that out there just for Yeah, this is good.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Rather I'm not do that. So download the new DraftKings

- 28:56Speaker 1: He's all over it, TBS, TNT, just March madness everywhere.
- 29:01Speaker 1: I mean, but he's also NBA Playoffs. He's also NBA.
- 29:05Speaker 1: He's also Major League Baseball. Like he's the guy I
- 29:07Speaker 1: think I tell him at the end. Two, there's the great,
- 29:12Speaker 1: the living goat right now, who is oh jim NANTZ
- 29:17Speaker 1: thank you yes. And then there's Brian. I think Brian's
- 29:21Speaker 1: in that tier big fan, even bigger fan afterward. Here
- 29:25Speaker 1: he is Brian Anderson. Hey Brian, thanks for the time.
- 29:29Speaker 1: I of course have a weird performer question for you.
- 29:34Speaker 1: So all right, watched a lot of your games over
- 29:37Speaker 1: the weekend. I think I'll watch more Round one than
- 29:39Speaker 1: Round two. But that makes sense because there are less games,
- 29:41Speaker 1: right you did more Round one games.
- 29:43Speaker 6: Right, yeah?
- 29:44Speaker 8: Four and Round one two in Round two. Okay, So
- 29:47Speaker 8: are you a little the matt's in your favor?
- 29:49Speaker 1: Thank you? Thank you? Are you a little horse from
- 29:51Speaker 1: the from the six games?
- 29:54Speaker 6: Yeah, a little bit.
- 29:55Speaker 8: It's uh, it's more just the travel and you know,
- 30:00Speaker 8: you do all those games, especially the four games in
- 30:04Speaker 8: one day, so you're on the air twelve hours. Basically
- 30:08Speaker 8: the air is in the balloon. But then you're traveling
- 30:12Speaker 8: and you're waking up early and you know there's no
- 30:14Speaker 8: sleep and you're bouncing back and forth. So it's more
- 30:17Speaker 8: from just not really using the instrument in the last
- 30:21Speaker 8: two days. So I finished Saturday, so Sunday Monday, you know,
- 30:24Speaker 8: Sunday I didn't really talk much. Then you just got
- 30:27Speaker 8: to warm it back up again. So I'm probably not
- 30:29Speaker 8: in my best voice today for you, unfortunately. But no
- 30:35Speaker 8: we'll breathe it out. We've got some hot tea, we'll
- 30:37Speaker 8: get it going.
- 30:37Speaker 3: You are.
- 30:38Speaker 1: And so here's the question that I have if I'm
- 30:41Speaker 1: going to make this about me, but it's really about you.
- 30:43Speaker 1: If I have like a TV show coming up, or
- 30:45Speaker 1: have to shoot for two or three days, or I
- 30:47Speaker 1: have to do, like I did a comedy special, and
- 30:49Speaker 1: I the day or two leading up to it, I'm
- 30:51Speaker 1: always battling myself with, oh my god, am I getting sick?
- 30:54Speaker 1: Even though I'm not getting sick, I'm always like, oh,
- 30:57Speaker 1: I started to have these mental like minor mental breaks downs.
- 31:00Speaker 1: And I wonder because again, when it comes to if
- 31:03Speaker 1: I'm like tearing people guys and women that do what
- 31:08Speaker 1: you do, like to me, you're the best. Do you
- 31:10Speaker 1: start to do that mentally? Or am I the only
- 31:13Speaker 1: extremely neurotic person before performance? It thinks I'm getting sick
- 31:17Speaker 1: every single time.
- 31:18Speaker 8: No, we all go through that, and I don't think
- 31:22Speaker 8: about it too much until you know somebody. It happens
- 31:26Speaker 8: every year everywhere we go. You know, whether I'm going
- 31:30Speaker 8: into say the Baseball playoffs, which is a long stretch
- 31:33Speaker 8: and you're doing games every day, or the NBA Playoffs
- 31:36Speaker 8: when you're going to be traveling and you know for
- 31:39Speaker 8: six weeks. Somebody always says, like, what happens if you
- 31:43Speaker 8: get sick? And see, that's really not an option. So
- 31:47Speaker 8: it's not like you can just call in sick, you know.
- 31:49Speaker 8: I mean, it's happened occasionally in our industry. Fortunately, I've
- 31:55Speaker 8: only lost my voice once and it was during a
- 32:00Speaker 8: allergies and it was it was at a golf tournament.
- 32:03Speaker 6: So it kind of worked out in my favor because
- 32:05Speaker 6: I was able to get really quiet like this. So
- 32:09Speaker 6: but no, I think you know that that paranoia exists
- 32:12Speaker 6: with all of us, you know, But adrenaline.
- 32:15Speaker 8: Is an amazing thing. And you know, I was just
- 32:17Speaker 8: talking to a young announcer who have I mentored. He's
- 32:20Speaker 8: the voice of the Spurs and this is his first year.
- 32:23Speaker 6: In the NBA.
- 32:24Speaker 8: His name's Jacob Toby, and he was he texted me,
- 32:27Speaker 8: he goes, man, I'm getting sick, like I don't know
- 32:29Speaker 8: what to do.
- 32:29Speaker 6: I've got I'm on the road, I've got games.
- 32:31Speaker 8: I said, Hey, trust the adrenaline will be there when
- 32:34Speaker 8: that tally light goes on, when that countdown comes in
- 32:38Speaker 8: your ear and you're live. It is an amazing thing
- 32:41Speaker 8: and then like getting back to more mechanical stuff. Just
- 32:45Speaker 8: I read a book thirty years ago. It's it's twelve
- 32:48Speaker 8: dollars on Amazon.
- 32:49Speaker 6: It's that thick. It's the best thing I ever read.
- 32:52Speaker 8: It's called Change Your Voice, Change Your Life, written by
- 32:56Speaker 8: a guy by the name of Morty Cooper, doctor Morton,
- 33:00Speaker 8: and that book I use those principles to this day.
- 33:04Speaker 8: A lot of breathing, sitting up straight, making sure you're
- 33:08Speaker 8: you know, you're you're in the mask. So you know, though,
- 33:12Speaker 8: I tune that all the time, even when I hit
- 33:15Speaker 8: the cough button in the middle of games or I
- 33:18Speaker 8: was getting a little ragged in like the fourth game
- 33:20Speaker 8: of the day on Thursday. So you just breathe and
- 33:25Speaker 8: tune up that voice, get it in the mask, and
- 33:27Speaker 8: then usually you can can get it back. So it's
- 33:30Speaker 8: been one of the most helpful tools I've had in
- 33:33Speaker 8: my career. And it literally did exactly what the title said.
- 33:37Speaker 8: It changed my life because I did not have a
- 33:40Speaker 8: strong voice when I started in this business.
- 33:43Speaker 1: I think you give better advice than I do, because
- 33:45Speaker 1: in anybody that I'm doing that with, I'll go, yeah,
- 33:47Speaker 1: I go go to minute, Clint and get a steroid shot.
- 33:49Speaker 1: So that's probably never do that, the worst thing to do,
- 33:53Speaker 1: I know. But but for like a night, because I
- 33:56Speaker 1: feel like like I've had allergies too, and I'll lose
- 33:59Speaker 1: my voice and I'll go that minute clinic it is
- 34:02Speaker 1: and I'm like, wow, I'm feeling great night. But the
- 34:04Speaker 1: next time I.
- 34:05Speaker 8: Don't do it, You're gonna lose it. Man, You're gonna
- 34:07Speaker 8: lose You can't. It's just like, it's just like steroids.
- 34:10Speaker 8: You're you're gonna be like Lyle Alzado with your voice.
- 34:13Speaker 6: You can't do that.
- 34:14Speaker 1: But he was great for a while. Brian wasn't he
- 34:16Speaker 1: He was great, man.
- 34:17Speaker 6: He was on top of his game. He was earning years.
- 34:19Speaker 1: You got to take the meal. I do want to
- 34:22Speaker 1: and I don't want to go through every game that
- 34:24Speaker 1: you called, but I do just generally want to talk about, uh,
- 34:27Speaker 1: some of the games, but then some of what you
- 34:30Speaker 1: do while you do these games. But the crighton Louisville game,
- 34:33Speaker 1: uh and Creighton now rest in peace.
- 34:37Speaker 4: But that was a heck of a game.
- 34:38Speaker 1: And I don't really think a game that a lot
- 34:40Speaker 1: of people saw falling that way. What how did you
- 34:42Speaker 1: feel going into that game?
- 34:45Speaker 8: Did you say Creighton, Louisville or auburt Yeah, crighton Louisville. Yeah,
- 34:50Speaker 8: that that was you know, we thought that was going
- 34:52Speaker 8: to be the best game. Uh and it was the
- 34:54Speaker 8: first game we did, so we you know, you look
- 34:57Speaker 8: at the schedule and it's just kind of falls in
- 35:01Speaker 8: our crew's window.
- 35:02Speaker 6: Through the years, especially probably the last five years, we
- 35:05Speaker 6: seem to be the one that.
- 35:08Speaker 8: Starts the whole full field tournament because we're the Thursday
- 35:12Speaker 8: Saturday crews typically and we're usually on CBS.
- 35:16Speaker 3: UH.
- 35:17Speaker 8: So they you know, they put us, put us a
- 35:19Speaker 8: really good game there to call, and Creighton just was
- 35:23Speaker 8: I mean, they just picked apart Louisville in every way.
- 35:27Speaker 8: I mean, Creton just probably had their best game of
- 35:30Speaker 8: the year. They had come off the big Eiast tournament,
- 35:32Speaker 8: and they play very similar to an NBA style, So
- 35:36Speaker 8: it's obviously something I see all the time and and
- 35:38Speaker 8: comfortable with. And it's a you know, there's a lot
- 35:41Speaker 8: of ball and body movement, and they were clinical in
- 35:44Speaker 8: their performance that game. They did not have that kind
- 35:48Speaker 8: of performance against Auburn and they ran up to you know,
- 35:51Speaker 8: a lot better athletes and they really couldn't couldn't do
- 35:55Speaker 8: what they wanted to do against Auburn in the in
- 35:57Speaker 8: the in the second round. But yeah, that that first game,
- 36:00Speaker 8: the first it was a great game for us to
- 36:02Speaker 8: get started. It ended up being a little bit lopsided.
- 36:04Speaker 8: Creighton ran away with it. We really didn't have any
- 36:07Speaker 8: magical games. We had we called six games. Five of
- 36:12Speaker 8: them were essentially no contests with the in the last
- 36:16Speaker 8: five minutes, and then there was one decent game. But yeah,
- 36:19Speaker 8: we didn't have that one shining moment this year. But
- 36:21Speaker 8: that was probably the closest game we had with a
- 36:24Speaker 8: little flow and great.
- 36:25Speaker 6: Energy in the building.
- 36:26Speaker 8: Louisville traveled well, as you know, it's you know, it's
- 36:29Speaker 8: an easy drive over there to Lexington, so the place
- 36:33Speaker 8: was packed right away.
- 36:34Speaker 6: That helps, believe it or not.
- 36:36Speaker 8: You know, everybody thinks the NCAA tournaments is massive event,
- 36:39Speaker 8: and it is, but there are days and there are
- 36:42Speaker 8: locations where the day when you're doing all four games,
- 36:46Speaker 8: some of those games there's just nobody there. It maybe
- 36:49Speaker 8: half full or a third full. And those are rough,
- 36:52Speaker 8: you know, especially if you're getting teams that the local
- 36:55Speaker 8: fan base is not interested in, but we need. Lexington
- 36:57Speaker 8: would would be a hotbed and it was, and they
- 37:00Speaker 8: really showed well. And I think they averaged sixteen thousand
- 37:04Speaker 8: for the weekend or for the whole week, so that
- 37:06Speaker 8: helps a lot too.
- 37:07Speaker 1: Yeah, And I was going to ask as part of
- 37:08Speaker 1: that game, my question was going to be with Louisville
- 37:10Speaker 1: just having to drive down the road to Lexington, how
- 37:13Speaker 1: quickly did they shut the crowd up? Like when was
- 37:15Speaker 1: that not part of the environment anymore?
- 37:19Speaker 8: Yeah, that was a big part of our story and
- 37:21Speaker 8: they So we had did this kind of graphically or
- 37:25Speaker 8: at least from a statistical perspective. Every time Louisville got
- 37:31Speaker 8: up and got their crowd going and what we call
- 37:34Speaker 8: a hot time out, where an opposing coach sensing, you know,
- 37:38Speaker 8: the momentums.
- 37:39Speaker 6: Rolling a certain way, we'll call a time out.
- 37:42Speaker 8: There were three of those occasions, and on each occasion,
- 37:46Speaker 8: Creighton had an answer.
- 37:47Speaker 6: They had an eight to zero run.
- 37:49Speaker 8: I think they had like an eleven to two run,
- 37:51Speaker 8: and then a kind of a modest seven to run
- 37:53Speaker 8: where they came right out, bang bang, two three pointers
- 37:56Speaker 8: right away. Every time that crowd was cooking, Creighton had
- 38:01Speaker 8: an answer. And I think that's what helped them win
- 38:04Speaker 8: that game, is those specific timeouts to get into the weeds.
- 38:08Speaker 8: Greg McDermott is a really great coach, and he sensed
- 38:13Speaker 8: that the title wave was coming, and Creyton had some
- 38:17Speaker 8: experience with that. You know, they had played Yukon in
- 38:20Speaker 8: the Big East Tournament at Madison Square Garden.
- 38:23Speaker 6: That was a partisan crowd, big time ninety ten probably.
- 38:27Speaker 6: Then they won that game.
- 38:28Speaker 8: Then they played Saint John's in the Big East Tournament
- 38:31Speaker 8: title game in Madison Square Garden. So that's ninety ten
- 38:36Speaker 8: Saint John's favor. So I think they were kind of
- 38:39Speaker 8: ready for that. Maybe they needed the crowd against him
- 38:43Speaker 8: against Auburn. I mean, it was a good Auburn crowd,
- 38:46Speaker 8: but it wasn't like two days prior when Louisville was
- 38:50Speaker 8: the opponent.
- 38:51Speaker 1: So I'm big Arkansas guy, but I love Auburn because
- 38:54Speaker 1: I love Coach Pearl. We've spent some time with Coach Pearl.
- 38:57Speaker 1: Jan I Burum like that dude, good dude, good kid
- 39:01Speaker 1: like as as stayed and anybody staying and playing like
- 39:05Speaker 1: I respect. You had two Auburn games. Do you feel
- 39:09Speaker 1: like Auburn has the talent to win at all?
- 39:16Speaker 6: Uh?
- 39:16Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, absolutely, They've got They just can beat you. Anyway,
- 39:21Speaker 8: is what I like about them. They can they can.
- 39:25Speaker 6: Play fast score in the eighties even nineties, or.
- 39:30Speaker 8: They can play slow and if their opponent is that
- 39:33Speaker 8: kind of team, they can grind it down and beat
- 39:36Speaker 8: you in.
- 39:36Speaker 6: The sixties because they do have size.
- 39:38Speaker 8: I thought that Dylan Cardwell was a huge piece to
- 39:41Speaker 8: that puzzle. J I Broomed to me didn't look like
- 39:46Speaker 8: the SEC Player of the Year and a National Player
- 39:49Speaker 8: of the Year finalist. He didn't play that way. He
- 39:52Speaker 8: didn't play with that kind of energy. Not saying he
- 39:55Speaker 8: was bad, he just he wasn't dominant. He didn't own
- 39:57Speaker 8: the space. But they have other guys that can and do.
- 40:02Speaker 6: And you know, I'm a huge fan of Bruce Pearl.
- 40:05Speaker 6: He's got Milwaukee ties. Obviously, I live in Milwaukee, and
- 40:09Speaker 6: he was one of his stops in the early going.
- 40:12Speaker 6: And so I believe in what they do.
- 40:14Speaker 8: They they're great defensively, they have scoring around big men
- 40:22Speaker 8: and it's not just Jeni Broom. Cardwell is a handful
- 40:26Speaker 8: And I thought Dylan Cardwell the way he played against Kalkbrenner.
- 40:30Speaker 8: So Ryan Kalchbrenner is one of the great players in
- 40:32Speaker 8: the country. A seven footer from Creighton. He's had this
- 40:35Speaker 8: amazing career, and not not that he took Kalkbrenner totally out,
- 40:41Speaker 8: but he definitely changed the way Creighton had to play
- 40:45Speaker 8: that game, and I think it affected Creighton a great
- 40:49Speaker 8: deal not having Kalkbrenner just dominate the post and dominate
- 40:54Speaker 8: the rebounding.
- 40:55Speaker 6: So I think they're they're more than.
- 40:59Speaker 8: Capable to the national championship, and they're deserving of the
- 41:02Speaker 8: of the overall number one seed.
- 41:04Speaker 1: I only hate teams I respect. I only respect teams
- 41:07Speaker 1: that I hate because they hate doesn't come unless there's
- 41:09Speaker 1: a reason I hate them. In football, I hate Texas
- 41:11Speaker 1: and basketball, I hate Tennessee. I don't even really hate
- 41:13Speaker 1: Duke because everybody hates Duke and that's lame. But I
- 41:17Speaker 1: hate Tennessee. And you've called two Tennessee games. But Tennessee
- 41:20Speaker 1: has Kentucky now, and Tennessee got beat twice by Kentucky
- 41:24Speaker 1: this year. Yeah, and so I'm assuming are you doing
- 41:28Speaker 1: that game? By the way, do you know what games
- 41:29Speaker 1: you're doing next?
- 41:30Speaker 6: No, yeah, I'm not.
- 41:32Speaker 8: I'm in the East Region, so I have BYU, Alabama, Arizona,
- 41:37Speaker 8: and Duke. That's our next our next stop Thursday on CBS.
- 41:42Speaker 8: It'll be Thursday Saturday, my.
- 41:43Speaker 1: Crew talk about Tennessee for a second, because I hate
- 41:45Speaker 1: them because they are so good, they are so tenacious.
- 41:48Speaker 1: What makes what makes me hate them so much.
- 41:51Speaker 8: Well, you know, they just get after you, and they're
- 41:53Speaker 8: really physical, and they play great defense, and they make
- 41:56Speaker 8: your team if they're playing your team, they make your
- 41:59Speaker 8: team look.
- 42:01Speaker 6: Disheveled and unorganized, and.
- 42:04Speaker 8: It's it's like a strikeout pitcher makes a lineup look
- 42:08Speaker 8: like they're not paying attention. But that's what they do
- 42:11Speaker 8: because they're just they're they're relentless defensively.
- 42:16Speaker 6: I mean they've got two really three, but you know
- 42:18Speaker 6: they've got two guys in.
- 42:19Speaker 8: The in the final four for Defensive Player of the Year,
- 42:23Speaker 8: May Shack and Ziegler.
- 42:25Speaker 6: That's that's an incredible.
- 42:27Speaker 8: Accomplishment to have two of the four, like two guys
- 42:29Speaker 8: on the same team. You may get one guy in
- 42:32Speaker 8: a conference, but they have two on the same team
- 42:35Speaker 8: and on the perimeter as well. And then you know
- 42:38Speaker 8: they've got Apara down in the paint and he's he's
- 42:41Speaker 8: a weapon, kind of a shot blocker, roamer, so he
- 42:46Speaker 8: you know, it's hard enough to get by their guards.
- 42:48Speaker 8: If you do get by their guards, you're kind of
- 42:50Speaker 8: running into this second wall. They have a lot of size,
- 42:54Speaker 8: they have, They certainly have the perimeter defense, and then
- 42:59Speaker 8: they've got the one weapon that most teams don't have,
- 43:01Speaker 8: and that is just a lights out a plus shooter.
- 43:06Speaker 8: And the college game is kind of lacking great shooters.
- 43:10Speaker 8: You know, that's our biggest when we come down from
- 43:12Speaker 8: the NBA to do these college games.
- 43:14Speaker 6: It's the thing you notice the most.
- 43:15Speaker 8: It's like there's not you can just tell there's not
- 43:18Speaker 8: enough skill shooting the basketball, and they've got it. Chas
- 43:23Speaker 8: Lanier is you know, I don't see anybody like him
- 43:27Speaker 8: in the college game. He's got a quick release, he
- 43:30Speaker 8: can dribble himself open, he's catching shoot, He's kind of
- 43:33Speaker 8: got all these weapons. So you've got all these, you know,
- 43:36Speaker 8: really good pieces that I would say Tennessee is challenged offensively.
- 43:40Speaker 8: I think they have holes offensively, but every team tries
- 43:44Speaker 8: to shut off the chas Lanier valve and they can't
- 43:49Speaker 8: and that's just you know, UCLA tried to do it.
- 43:52Speaker 8: They had great success against Utah State cutting off their
- 43:55Speaker 8: best player, Ian Martinez, but he's still he got his
- 44:01Speaker 8: I think he went for twenty plus and I think
- 44:02Speaker 8: he had like maybe fifty points in the two games.
- 44:05Speaker 8: And you know, he probably shot fifty percent from three,
- 44:09Speaker 8: and he just and he was heavily guarded in all
- 44:12Speaker 8: of that. So that's why Tennessee is to me, their
- 44:15Speaker 8: defense and their perimeter play. It usually comes down to
- 44:18Speaker 8: point guard play or guard play and shooting. And that's
- 44:21Speaker 8: why they're to me, they're like a scary number two.
- 44:26Speaker 8: If you could say that they could win it all
- 44:27Speaker 8: this year. They've never been to the final four as
- 44:30Speaker 8: a program, so this would be their best opportunity in
- 44:33Speaker 8: my opinion, and I've had them a lot through the
- 44:36Speaker 8: years and the Rick Barnes era at the NCAA tournament.
- 44:39Speaker 1: Yeah, they're so legit. I hate them. They're so legit. Alabama.
- 44:43Speaker 1: I do like that.
- 44:43Speaker 6: How many times we gotta hit Rocky Top? That's I agree.
- 44:46Speaker 1: Especially he must have heard it ten times in you
- 44:49Speaker 1: ever been to neil And Stadium. But if you go
- 44:51Speaker 1: to a football never that stays in your head longer
- 44:53Speaker 1: than chumble one. But tough thumping does. If you hear that, Like,
- 44:56Speaker 1: that's so let's go to Alabama for a second. Yeah,
- 45:00Speaker 1: since you're gonna call that game. I really like Nato.
- 45:03Speaker 1: It's you get to hear things that we don't being
- 45:05Speaker 1: right there on the floor. Does he ever like get
- 45:07Speaker 1: onto a player for shooting something that's not actually right
- 45:09Speaker 1: under the basket or a three pointer? Is he like
- 45:11Speaker 1: no mid rate? Is that ever a conversation you hear.
- 45:15Speaker 6: Yeah, Well that's a philosophy for sure. And Nate's a
- 45:19Speaker 6: good pal. And you know he from where I'm sitting
- 45:22Speaker 6: right now.
- 45:22Speaker 8: He grew up literally ten miles from here in Waterford, Wisconsin.
- 45:28Speaker 6: So he's he's a proud cheeser and and that's.
- 45:32Speaker 8: What I love about him. A big Brewers fan. I
- 45:34Speaker 8: still do the Brewers, so we talk call things cheese.
- 45:39Speaker 8: He's had an amazing career from the high school level
- 45:42Speaker 8: to you know, then he was an assistant, then he
- 45:44Speaker 8: then he got the head coaching job at Buffalo.
- 45:46Speaker 6: Kind of the he's out of the Hurley tree, both
- 45:49Speaker 6: Dan and Bobby.
- 45:51Speaker 8: And he believes in what he's driving the game right now,
- 45:55Speaker 8: and that's the layups and threes, and so I would say,
- 45:58Speaker 8: you know, to answer your question, I think the mid
- 46:02Speaker 8: range does become more prevalent in these kinds of games.
- 46:08Speaker 8: So NCAA tournament or conference tournament, certainly NBA playoffs, the
- 46:12Speaker 8: game changes quite a bit.
- 46:14Speaker 6: Everybody wants threes in layups.
- 46:16Speaker 8: That's ideal. Let's the ideal way to score. That's your
- 46:19Speaker 8: most efficient way to score. But sometimes defenses know that
- 46:24Speaker 8: and they're going to cut that off if they're skilled enough.
- 46:26Speaker 8: And so the mid range then becomes mid range and
- 46:28Speaker 8: free throws becomes a lot bigger than what you would
- 46:33Speaker 8: see in like a regular season setup.
- 46:35Speaker 6: So, yes, Nate wants these guys shooting threes, let it fly.
- 46:39Speaker 8: They have great rebounders, great size, which is it's not
- 46:42Speaker 8: just about shooting and making threes.
- 46:44Speaker 6: They just want shots on goal. You know, they want
- 46:47Speaker 6: the ball in the air, and they want.
- 46:49Speaker 8: More shot attempts because they believe in their rebounding. So
- 46:53Speaker 8: to counter the volume shooting, you need great rebounding, offensive rebounding,
- 46:59Speaker 8: and they have that. They've got bouncy guys who have length,
- 47:02Speaker 8: and so that's why you kind of recruit and build
- 47:06Speaker 8: your roster that way. And that's very much of an
- 47:08Speaker 8: NBA way to build your roster, and players love playing
- 47:12Speaker 8: that way, which is why Nate continues to, you know,
- 47:16Speaker 8: get the top players in addition to the giant bag
- 47:20Speaker 8: that they're getting to go to Alabama, but players are
- 47:22Speaker 8: getting bags everywhere, so they want to play in that
- 47:25Speaker 8: kind of system that's going to get them ready for
- 47:28Speaker 8: the NBA. Every player in this tournament thinks they can
- 47:30Speaker 8: play in the NBA. Very few can, but they all
- 47:34Speaker 8: think they can. And when they're picking their colleges, they
- 47:37Speaker 8: want to go somewhere that's going to kind of groom
- 47:39Speaker 8: them up to go to the next level.
- 47:41Speaker 6: So you know, he's got it working there. He had
- 47:43Speaker 6: it working at Buffalo. I'm a big fan of his.
- 47:48Speaker 6: I love the way he runs his team.
- 47:50Speaker 8: You know, it's they know he's in their corner, so
- 47:54Speaker 8: he can He's kind of a modern day tom Izzo.
- 47:57Speaker 8: I would say, where what we see in the games,
- 48:01Speaker 8: he's you know, he loses his mind every now and then,
- 48:03Speaker 8: but I think behind the scenes, his players know he's got.
- 48:05Speaker 6: Their back and and he does me.
- 48:07Speaker 8: You know, he's a he's a good man, and I
- 48:09Speaker 8: think he's I'm really happy for his success at Alabama.
- 48:13Speaker 1: Yeah, me too. Sadly, I like him too, And it's hard.
- 48:15Speaker 1: I'm such an Arkansas guy, that's hard for me to
- 48:17Speaker 1: like anybody else Okay, so I have two basketball questions
- 48:19Speaker 1: and a baseball question. So NBA wise, I watched the
- 48:25Speaker 1: Celtics set the record the other night for the most
- 48:27Speaker 1: three pointers ever shot in the game, and it's I'm
- 48:30Speaker 1: not gonna be that guy though that Oh it sucks
- 48:32Speaker 1: because all they're doing shooting threes. I won't allow myself
- 48:36Speaker 1: to be that guy, even though at times I feel
- 48:38Speaker 1: that way. What can they do micro to change the
- 48:44Speaker 1: game so that it is not just people chunking threes
- 48:47Speaker 1: all game because it's not the best viewing experience.
- 48:52Speaker 6: Great question.
- 48:54Speaker 8: I don't I don't think you can do anything. I
- 48:57Speaker 8: don't think you I don't think you should anything. It
- 49:00Speaker 8: just it is the regular season. This all resolves itself,
- 49:05Speaker 8: by the way in the playoffs and even in the
- 49:08Speaker 8: play in tournament, which you know, I was kind of
- 49:11Speaker 8: a skeptic of, but it actually turned out to be great,
- 49:13Speaker 8: and you know, we've done it for the last two
- 49:16Speaker 8: years at T and T so ended up being really interesting.
- 49:20Speaker 8: But I think again, back to my previous point, when
- 49:23Speaker 8: the competition gets intense and it matters, then it's not
- 49:29Speaker 8: just volume threes. You have to do something else because
- 49:32Speaker 8: you're game planning you're matching up series change that. So
- 49:36Speaker 8: what I would say is just enjoy the skill of
- 49:39Speaker 8: the regular season and the competition level. Let's call it
- 49:43Speaker 8: an eight. It's never really going to get to a ten.
- 49:46Speaker 8: Then the playoffs start and you'll see what you want
- 49:50Speaker 8: to see. So you endure the regular season and you
- 49:52Speaker 8: can make a decision whether you want to, you know,
- 49:56Speaker 8: experience that as a viewer or going in for the
- 50:00Speaker 8: live audience perspective.
- 50:01Speaker 6: But that's what it is.
- 50:03Speaker 8: You know, it's a long schedule, it's there's a lot
- 50:06Speaker 8: of travel, and the way they're playing now is to
- 50:10Speaker 8: kind of survive the regular season, and most teams are
- 50:13Speaker 8: doing that. You can't play as hard as you do
- 50:15Speaker 8: in the playoffs in the regular season. You just you're
- 50:20Speaker 8: gonna blow everybody out on your team. So that's why
- 50:23Speaker 8: load management exists, which stinks, but it's here. And ultimately,
- 50:28Speaker 8: when the playoffs stop mattering, load management and this three
- 50:31Speaker 8: point evolution will stop mattering as much.
- 50:34Speaker 6: But they don't. They do matter, and so just the
- 50:37Speaker 6: game you want to see.
- 50:38Speaker 8: Just hang in there until April, in May and maybe
- 50:42Speaker 8: June if your favorite team.
- 50:43Speaker 6: Lasts that long.
- 50:45Speaker 1: Okay, two questions, now go back to college. Did the
- 50:48Speaker 1: refs call the games differently in this tournament as opposed
- 50:52Speaker 1: to how they've called them in conference the whole year?
- 50:55Speaker 8: Always, especially in round one because you've got a hun
- 51:00Speaker 8: and nine refs. So just think about it, like if
- 51:02Speaker 8: you're you're an SEC guy, so you know, that's a
- 51:05Speaker 8: totally different league and it's called differently in the non
- 51:08Speaker 8: conference too. Officials wouldn't agree with me on that, and
- 51:11Speaker 8: they'd probably be upset about that statement, but it's true.
- 51:15Speaker 8: You know, the the group of officials that are getting
- 51:18Speaker 8: hired in the SEC, that's a fairly regular group.
- 51:22Speaker 6: They all kind of know each other, they know how
- 51:25Speaker 6: the players play.
- 51:26Speaker 8: So then you expand that group and you go into
- 51:29Speaker 8: an NCAA tournament and now you've got one hundred game officials.
- 51:33Speaker 8: You got nine alternates in that first round. These are
- 51:37Speaker 8: you know, these guys get paid by the game, and
- 51:38Speaker 8: the only way you advance as an official to the
- 51:42Speaker 8: second round is based on your evaluation and your grade
- 51:46Speaker 8: in your round one performance.
- 51:48Speaker 6: So it's it's.
- 51:50Speaker 8: I wouldn't say it's selective enforcement. It's just tighter enforcement
- 51:55Speaker 8: of the rules. Now the veteran guys, the guys have
- 51:58Speaker 8: been around forever. The guys that have been the final fours,
- 52:01Speaker 8: they know they're moving on. They're not even worried about that.
- 52:04Speaker 8: But you know, Rick Barnes, that was like one of
- 52:07Speaker 8: his major topics with us before his Round one game
- 52:11Speaker 8: against Wafford is that he said, man, our guy's got
- 52:14Speaker 8: to know this is not the SEC anymore, and it's
- 52:16Speaker 8: not the SEC tournament, and we've.
- 52:18Speaker 6: Got to play without fouling. I thought the UCLA.
- 52:24Speaker 8: Tennessee game, both teams came out big ten SEC. You know,
- 52:30Speaker 8: they play physical, handsy, and I think there were eight
- 52:34Speaker 8: whistles in the first four minutes of that game.
- 52:37Speaker 6: I'm pretty sure. I think that's what I said on
- 52:39Speaker 6: the air.
- 52:40Speaker 8: But it just like we couldn't get the game started
- 52:43Speaker 8: it but then it settled down and players adjust, so
- 52:47Speaker 8: make I think we make too much about the officials
- 52:49Speaker 8: and the officiating. You just got to feel the game
- 52:52Speaker 8: and every veteran coach, most coaches know we've been through it,
- 52:56Speaker 8: especially in round one, and it starts to ease off
- 52:58Speaker 8: as you get going.
- 52:59Speaker 6: But man, these games are called so tight.
- 53:01Speaker 8: You're getting a lot of new officials that are trying
- 53:03Speaker 8: to advance and create more paydays so that they're calling
- 53:06Speaker 8: it by the book a lot more so. Yes, the
- 53:08Speaker 8: answer to your question is it's I think it is.
- 53:11Speaker 8: I've done this for fourteen years and I see.
- 53:14Speaker 6: It every year.
- 53:15Speaker 1: Final question, and again, assuming you're a big Brewers fan,
- 53:18Speaker 1: I just want you to see I'm a massive Cubs fan,
- 53:20Speaker 1: so I know I knew it. You dry heave a
- 53:22Speaker 1: little bit. Yeah, you wibcreat counsel. You know the whole
- 53:25Speaker 1: thing right, It is what it is. But here's what
- 53:27Speaker 1: I'd like to say. I keep a list of that,
- 53:30Speaker 1: and I guess through just geography being close, I follow
- 53:35Speaker 1: the Brewers. I have my top five brewers of all time,
- 53:37Speaker 1: and I guess I wonder if you would agree with
- 53:39Speaker 1: my top five list of all of Milwaukee brewers. Would
- 53:42Speaker 1: you like to hear them and disagree? If you please,
- 53:44Speaker 1: you will go ahead, fire away.
- 53:45Speaker 6: I'd love to hear this.
- 53:46Speaker 1: At Number one on my list is Robin you out,
- 53:49Speaker 1: shortstop and center fielder. The face of this, when I
- 53:52Speaker 1: think of the Brewers, it's just robing you. Would you
- 53:54Speaker 1: agree with that?
- 53:55Speaker 6: And as it's the statues a statue out there, two.
- 53:58Speaker 1: Time MVP by the way, Okay, next up, I have
- 54:01Speaker 1: similar almost not as quiet, but Paul Molitor like I
- 54:06Speaker 1: think he's at number two. He is the face that
- 54:08Speaker 1: if you forget the face, if you have that disease
- 54:10Speaker 1: where you can't remember faces of people but you can
- 54:12Speaker 1: only remember like he's the the other Paul is at
- 54:16Speaker 1: number two.
- 54:17Speaker 8: Yes, also has his number retired two for two for
- 54:21Speaker 8: no arguments, no arguments.
- 54:23Speaker 1: And number two, I'm gonna go a little younger here,
- 54:25Speaker 1: just a bit younger. I'm gonna go Ryan Braun now
- 54:29Speaker 1: again retired five years ago, but I'm gonna put Braun
- 54:33Speaker 1: at three. Is that two? You feel like that's too high?
- 54:36Speaker 6: No, perfect, perfectly placed.
- 54:39Speaker 1: Okay, then I'm going Prince Fielder at four.
- 54:41Speaker 4: I'm going what he's.
- 54:44Speaker 8: Yeah, I mean I can't argue with that. It was
- 54:47Speaker 8: a small window, but yeah, Prince Fielder, that that works
- 54:51Speaker 8: for me.
- 54:51Speaker 6: I'm good with that.
- 54:52Speaker 1: And then it's it's very recent bias because I can't
- 54:54Speaker 1: go Rolliy Fingers. I don't remember Raley. I just saw
- 54:56Speaker 1: picking videos of the mustache and I would watch hold
- 54:59Speaker 1: but I got them putting Christian Yelich.
- 55:01Speaker 6: Yeah, I like that. I would. I would probably put C. C.
- 55:05Speaker 8: Sabbathia in that list only and he was only here
- 55:07Speaker 8: three months, but the guy changed the whole organization.
- 55:10Speaker 6: What the crap, He's going into the Hall of Fame.
- 55:12Speaker 8: Yeah, he was an amazing When the Brewers traded for
- 55:15Speaker 8: him in eight they hadn't made a playoff, the playoffs
- 55:18Speaker 8: in twenty six years, and he showed up. He pitched
- 55:21Speaker 8: basically every three days. He's hitting bombs, throwing complete games.
- 55:25Speaker 8: Beat the Cubs on the last day of the season
- 55:28Speaker 8: through a through a complete game that day.
- 55:31Speaker 1: But I can't pick somebody for three months that was
- 55:33Speaker 1: a player.
- 55:34Speaker 6: That's yeah, I know, I know it's it's hard.
- 55:36Speaker 8: I know, I know what I know how you feel
- 55:39Speaker 8: about it, and most people do. But I'm telling you
- 55:42Speaker 8: it changed the arc of the organization. It was and
- 55:45Speaker 8: it still resonates today, and we're going to do a
- 55:48Speaker 8: documentary about it. I promise there's a The CC effect
- 55:52Speaker 8: was was real. It was like unlike anything I've ever
- 55:56Speaker 8: seen in my life. And I know it was only
- 55:58Speaker 8: three months, but man, it was as magical the three
- 56:01Speaker 8: months as any trade acquisition has ever been.
- 56:04Speaker 1: I just don't know if he's messing with me or
- 56:06Speaker 1: if he really feels this way. I'm gonna be honest,
- 56:07Speaker 1: everybody listening.
- 56:08Speaker 6: Tor No, I totally feel that way.
- 56:10Speaker 8: I don't know, I could not feel stronger about a guy.
- 56:14Speaker 8: I'm not saying he's, you know, top three, but I'm
- 56:17Speaker 8: he's on there somewhere. He's on a list because he
- 56:21Speaker 8: you know, we talk about the eighty two team here
- 56:23Speaker 8: in Milwaukee quite a bit. And by the way, there's
- 56:25Speaker 8: a fantastic documentary out called Just a Bit Outside.
- 56:31Speaker 6: I don't have anything to do with it, but it
- 56:33Speaker 6: is so good.
- 56:33Speaker 8: And it's all about that eighty two team, a lot
- 56:35Speaker 8: of those guys that you weren't born yet that you
- 56:38Speaker 8: can learn about. But I think it's out on like
- 56:41Speaker 8: Roku or something pretty soon anyway. But other than that
- 56:45Speaker 8: eighty two team, that twenty eighteen and primarily with CC Sabathia,
- 56:50Speaker 8: those are the guys that kind of, you know, that
- 56:54Speaker 8: kind of made this organization.
- 56:55Speaker 1: Well as we I'm into the interview, I'm a massive fan.
- 56:58Speaker 1: I still don't believe the CC. I don't. I'm gonna
- 57:00Speaker 1: leave this not knowing if he's messed with me. But Brian,
- 57:03Speaker 1: I'm just a massive fan. I think I think, I
- 57:06Speaker 1: think you're only set in my mind, You're only second
- 57:09Speaker 1: to Nance and I hope it's okay that I say that,
- 57:11Speaker 1: because Jim to me has has not only become like
- 57:13Speaker 1: a buddy, but also is the greatest ever. I think
- 57:15Speaker 1: it's it's Jim, and then it's you.
- 57:18Speaker 3: Uh.
- 57:18Speaker 1: You're the my cc Sabathia of voices. You meant so
- 57:24Speaker 1: much you can follow up.
- 57:25Speaker 6: I appreciate it. I feel the same about you, man.
- 57:27Speaker 8: I'm a I'm a huge music fan, country music guy,
- 57:30Speaker 8: so you you've You've entertained.
- 57:32Speaker 6: Me quite a bit through the years, so.
- 57:33Speaker 1: I appreciate it.
- 57:34Speaker 6: Feelings mutual.
- 57:35Speaker 1: B Anderson p XP on Instagram. I'm gonna go. I

- 59:16Speaker 1: We did a main team for ten dollars and a
- 59:18Speaker 1: lower seat for five dollars. Here's our updates on what
- 59:21Speaker 1: we bet. Oh dang, Casey's out.
- 59:27Speaker 6: St.
- 59:27Speaker 4: John's. Yeah, I had Saint John's and.
- 59:30Speaker 6: Louisville louis.
- 59:33Speaker 1: Well, hold on, we'll get to that. We'll get to that.
- 59:35Speaker 1: So Casey's big dog pick is out. Oh man, So
- 59:39Speaker 1: that's his ten box out. Kevin and Eddie have Duke. Yeah,
- 59:44Speaker 1: we're feeling good. You're playing Arizona. Reid has Florida. Florda
- 59:48Speaker 1: looks awesome. Floria's playing Maryland there, yeah, and yeah, Mike
- 59:52Speaker 1: and I have Auburn and we're playing Michigan. So that's
- 59:56Speaker 1: our ten dollars bet. And remember, if two teams go
- 59:59Speaker 1: out at the same time, are we coin flipping? Are
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: we splitting? I forgot what we said.
- 1:00:02Speaker 5: You gotta review the tape, boppet.
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: I feel like we said coin flip.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: I feel like we said coin flip too.
- 1:00:08Speaker 4: Yeah that sounds but I don't.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: I don't want to make us do something we didn't say.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: But we can vote on it now. But coin flip
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: or what or split flip? Oh, coin flip? I agree,
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: if the same, if the same round the last teams
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: go out, it'll coin flip between and if it's like
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: coin flip with three people, will do round robin coin
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: flip perfect. Or we'll make us some super rule as
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: we got our underdog bet for five dollars who can
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: last the longest thing Kevin had Arizona. They're still in.
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: They'll be playing Duke Kevin's so one way or the other,
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: Kevin's going.
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: To be in somehow. Oh Eddie, I know, so stupid,
- 1:00:50Speaker 4: and I did. After that first game to one, I'm like, man,
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: we're looking good with Texas A and M.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: You have Texas Tech.
- 1:01:01Speaker 6: Well.
- 1:01:01Speaker 4: However, though, if you wrote down.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: My sheet, it says text. If you you might have
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: said an M, because I did say they didn't play offense,
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: they played world grimy defense, so I do remember you
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: saying that, but it says tech here on the sheet.
- 1:01:14Speaker 4: I feel like you guys, wouldn't have accepted Texas Tech
- 1:01:16Speaker 4: as the middle of the.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: We wouldn't because there's a three seed.
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: It's a great point, so I think, So I want
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: to be honest here and I'm gonna go with my
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: first pick.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: I remember you saying that to me, saying they don't
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: play offense. They just played grimy defense.
- 1:01:27Speaker 6: I like that.
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: And there's a guy with the last name Garcia on
- 1:01:29Speaker 4: the team, and that's Texas A and.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: M Eddie's out, that's Reid's, Gonzaga is out, Mike's North
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: Carolina is out. So it's just I have Michigan they
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: play Auburn, and you have Kevin and they played Duke.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: We could possibly be coin flipping. Yeah, okay, so two
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: teams left in the.
- 1:01:52Speaker 4: Underdog and then you want money an hour later.
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: We'll settle it later.
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean to get the lawyer on all this.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: Sean Bom a perfectly round one in a billion egg
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: sold in an auction, perfectly round for over five hundred bucks.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: It's a perfectly round egg. It was like like a ball.
- 1:02:14Speaker 4: Who wants this out?
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: A perfectly round one? Yeah, because you think, because it's
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: got to the whole, the little vagina. But I feel
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: like that's how it gets the treat. Now I'm confused
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: that baby, does it come out of the bottle of vagina?
- 1:02:24Speaker 4: Come on?
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: A perfectly round one in a billion eggs sold in
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: an auction for over five boys wanted, sold in an
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: auction for five hundred bucks.
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: Oh, five hundred Okay, that's not bad.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just there was an egg that came out.
- 1:02:40Speaker 4: I think you said billion on this up.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: They did say one in a billion egg. They don't
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: find it, so that five hundred bucks. And so I
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: was just going to bring this to show you guys
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: my newest treasure that I bought.
- 1:02:51Speaker 6: So, oh, what is that?
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: Well, it's a baseball an egg and I've already encased it.
- 1:02:59Speaker 4: But let me tell you something. That baseball is not
- 1:03:01Speaker 4: white like, it's not a new baseball.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: You've seen in the back of NFL en zones and racism.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: Okay it So, by the way, I have these two
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: action figures here, which is do you know who these
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: people are?
- 1:03:20Speaker 4: Yeah, that's the guy that fought Andy Kaufman.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: That Jerry Lawler, and this is and then that is
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: oh Andy Kaufman, it's Andy Kaufman, Andy Coffman. Yeah, so
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: therese are actually figures of Jerry Lol, Andy Kuffin. They're
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: a very famous few. That was all set up. But
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: back in the day where Andy Kaufman would wrestle women,
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: he was like, I'm the greatest. I can beat up
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: any woman wrestling awesome. And then Jerry Lawler and him
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: got you know, was that on Letterman and well he
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: slapped him on Letterman But it happened for a while.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: So what I bought on an auction site was to
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: Andy Kaufman from Jerry Lawler. Wow, baseball that he signed
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: to Andy Kaufman. That's cool from Jerryla. How much was
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: that more in the egg?
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: Can't be cheap? Dang, dude, that's awesome, very nice.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like it's pretty cool too.
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: That's a personalized gift. Yeah, that's like when that that
- 1:04:13Speaker 4: lady got the book that you had given to me.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: No, no, did you? Did you?
- 1:04:17Speaker 4: Guys ever hear the story?
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: I would like for you to tell it.
- 1:04:21Speaker 4: It was so stupid, you can tell it. I'm going
- 1:04:24Speaker 4: to tell you in the chronological order that it happened,
- 1:04:27Speaker 4: versus how it you'll hear. So some lady called in
- 1:04:31Speaker 4: on the show and said that she went to a
- 1:04:33Speaker 4: thrift shop and bought a book, one of Bobby's books.
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: It was I Think fail until you don't, And inside
- 1:04:40Speaker 4: of it was an autograph from Bobby and it was
- 1:04:43Speaker 4: written to my best friend Eddie Love Bobby bones like, like,
- 1:04:51Speaker 4: I think that I bought the book that you gave Eddie.
- 1:04:54Speaker 4: Oh shoot, And I'm like, First off, who would call
- 1:04:57Speaker 4: in the radio show and say that. Second off, I
- 1:05:01Speaker 4: had no idea that that book was not in my house.
- 1:05:03Speaker 4: So I texted my wife and said, are you did
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: you like sell that book order? She's said, I might have.
- 1:05:09Speaker 4: Like I get a lot of books or things that
- 1:05:12Speaker 4: we don't need at the house and I go take
- 1:05:13Speaker 4: them to Goodwill. So that's the story. But it hurt
- 1:05:17Speaker 4: Bobby's feelings for sure.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: So this is what I would like to say. And
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: I have a picture of it here just looking for.
- 1:05:29Speaker 4: So you got a picture of it, Yeah, yeah, sure do.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: So I don't just take books and sign them to
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: my friend and be like I got you a gift.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: When the book came out, people that I'd either written
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: about it or had been a part of, like the
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: process or important to me, I just gave. I just
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: was like, hey, I wrote a nice note and said
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: you have to read this about what you to have
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: it because I means a lot. I put a lot
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: of work into this thing, and you're very important to
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: me in this process. So I wrote, yeah, I held
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: best friend and uh and then here's the signature, here's
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: the book and the person.
- 1:06:06Speaker 4: How thoughtful of you?
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: Person tweeted me, Hey, I picked this up at a
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: thrift shop.
- 1:06:09Speaker 4: Oh that's crazy to come on. I know, I know
- 1:06:16Speaker 4: it looks like I sold the book like I didn't
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: want it. It wasn't important to me. It's not true.
- 1:06:21Speaker 4: My wife had no idea what was in that stack
- 1:06:23Speaker 4: of books. She just took in a good will that
- 1:06:27Speaker 4: one had in there.
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: That still hurts. I was looking for other Jerry Law
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: like if he like did a few of the I
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: don't see any other ones anywhere.
- 1:06:39Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying to Why would he give like
- 1:06:41Speaker 4: a bunch of them to Andy Kaufman, Like, that's got
- 1:06:43Speaker 4: to be one of one one.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: It may it may not be one of one. It
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: could be like you could have did he could have
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: done a few four or five or six, I don't know,
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: but I don't see any other ones.
- 1:06:51Speaker 4: That's amazing. That is really cool, especially knowing how much
- 1:06:55Speaker 4: you like Andy Kaufman, Like, that's my favorite, pretty special,
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: my favorite.
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: So yeah, I have a to Andy Kaufman from The King,
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: Joey Lawl or sign Baseball.
- 1:07:06Speaker 5: That's cool.
- 1:07:08Speaker 4: Do you guys know Andy Kuffman, Like, do you know
- 1:07:10Speaker 4: anything about it? He was median right, yeah, he was
- 1:07:12Speaker 4: on that show Taxi right.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: Oh, don't even do that.
- 1:07:16Speaker 4: But but he's not wrong, But don't do that.
- 1:07:17Speaker 6: He's not wrong.
- 1:07:21Speaker 4: He was he was he was on Taxi cool pretty much? Yeah,
- 1:07:24Speaker 4: what was his name on Taxia?
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: Think cool pretty much.
- 1:07:29Speaker 5: I did watch the Jim Carrey movie. Yeah, the Jim
- 1:07:32Speaker 5: Carrey were awesome. That documentary.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: We're like, no, no, no, no, no, no no, no, no,
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: my god, what.
- 1:07:44Speaker 4: Are you talking about the movie or the not the
- 1:07:46Speaker 4: actual movie.
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: The doctor watch the documentar if you don't watch the movie,
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: because I don't.
- 1:07:49Speaker 5: Know, just like cool at the time. This is like
- 1:07:50Speaker 5: five six years ago right on Netflix.
- 1:07:52Speaker 4: Oh my god, I gotta watch the movie all of you.
- 1:07:55Speaker 5: Yeah, I never watched the movie.
- 1:07:56Speaker 4: Movie is awesome.
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: What I'm not even gonna sign it to you because
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: I don't like you that much right now, you know.
- 1:08:04Speaker 4: Both of them.
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: If you get some time, I would like for you
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: to watch Man on the Moon. Okay, Jim Carrey plays
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: Andy Kaufman. It's awesome. Andy Kaufman would do things like
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: he wasn't a traditional stand up comedian, but Andy Coffman
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: would do things like build a tent. He'd go and
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: speak to university because I would know him. Oh a
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: lot kids coming, think cool very much. And he'd build
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: a tent and so all the students would get in
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: and be ready for a show. And you'd get the
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: tent laid down and go to sleep and just went and.
- 1:08:37Speaker 4: The whole show.
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: And then he would just everybody like what's going on?
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: He never would come out, and that was it was
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: like performance art. He would get up, get up and
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: read the Great gats but he'd be like.
- 1:08:48Speaker 6: All right, walk on.
- 1:08:50Speaker 4: He'd read the entire book.
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: And he would read the entire book on stage because
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: it was interesting to him to see other people's reactions.
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: Oh okay. He would He was in the very first
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: snl ever and he gets up and he's very nervous.
- 1:09:07Speaker 4: With you.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: He opens a record player and the Mighty Mouse song
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: starts to play, and and and he's just like and
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: then the part of the song is here I come
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: to save the day, and he gets so animated at
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: that one point. Then cross it's it's so risky, it's
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: it's awesome. It's awesome. Watch how to check it out,
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: keV watch him do Elvis on Johnny Carson. Oh my god,
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: like I I could do this for an hour. It's
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: my favorite. He's not a comedian. People put him in
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: that because he was on stage and he would do stuff.
- 1:09:48Speaker 4: It's the closest descriptor, I guess.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: So anyway, that's the dude got that ball, loved it.
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: Rest in peace. George Foreman, Oh.
- 1:09:54Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, my uh my wife didn't even know.
- 1:09:59Speaker 6: He was a boxer.
- 1:09:59Speaker 5: By the way, my wife didn't either say she was like,
- 1:10:03Speaker 5: oh the guy with the grills. Yeah, oh no, the
- 1:10:06Speaker 5: boxer that not into grilled business.
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: Or to be fair, we were also very young when
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: he came back. He was that old. He was fighting
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: as an old man when we were very young. But yeah, yeah,
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: I hear you.
- 1:10:18Speaker 4: And he had eight kids named George.
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: Yeah, George. I didn't know that.
- 1:10:26Speaker 4: That's pretty awesome.
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: The Vikings are not going to sign Aaron Rodgers. Where
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: is he gonna go, don't care.
- 1:10:34Speaker 4: He's coming here.
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: Aaron Rodgers getting minimal TV interest because people think he's
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: insufferable to be around. I think there's the Celtics sold
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: for six point one billion dollars. No arena involved, Yeah,
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: just the team.
- 1:10:46Speaker 4: Did you try to buy it?
- 1:10:47Speaker 5: Yeah, they just wouldn't accept my offer.
- 1:10:50Speaker 6: I was in.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: I bought the ball instead the Celtics.
- 1:10:55Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: So all right, that's it. We're done. Thank you very
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: much for being here. I hope you guys have a
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: great day, and uh, we'll see it when we see
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: those in my voice little bit. I think it's just
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: because I've been trialing.
- 1:11:06Speaker 4: Welcome back, thank you, Welcome back to the States. Guden talk.
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: Morgan, good Morgan, Yeah, no, good morning, good, that's good morning.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: Good talk is good day? Uh, Guden god good good Amen?
- 1:11:25Speaker 3: What was that?
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: That was pretty good at stuff? I got to be
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: pretty good. It's weird to learn different languages. I just
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: try to learn like the eight things in each place?
- 1:11:38Speaker 6: Is it like?
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: Guden? Almend? Is that night?
- 1:11:41Speaker 5: I can't remember night?
- 1:11:42Speaker 4: Why did you study over there?
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: Something?
- 1:11:43Speaker 5: I took German in high school?
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: Look at you? Oh you did?
- 1:11:46Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 1:11:47Speaker 5: I didn't learn much and I've been in Germany three times.
- 1:11:49Speaker 4: Wow, that's cool.
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: I loved.
- 1:11:55Speaker 6: Good.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: It's good and abn gouden aben. So what I guess
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: I mean good evening good, evening good?
- 1:12:05Speaker 4: Would you say that to your wife like for you
- 1:12:07Speaker 4: guys go to bed good?
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: Nothing you would say. I would be doing the I
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: would be really trying. I want I should say this
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: because I could do a half hour on it. Just
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: remind me talk about accidents. Mike can help my wife
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: pets pissed.
- 1:12:17Speaker 5: At you want to talk about X.
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: I do, but I need space so I don't get canceled.
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: I just need space. But that's money.
