- 1:10Speaker 1: Know if I'm actually saying his last name right, Okay, Cardigina,
- 1:13Speaker 1: I don't know Cardahenah. As far as I'm concerned it
- 1:16Speaker 1: was between Randy and Chris. And when all was said
- 1:20Speaker 1: and done, when you took to our Big ninety eight
- 1:23Speaker 1: point seven Instagram stories to vote for who you wanted

- 1:50Speaker 1: he is the crowned Daddy of Big ninety eight point seven.
- 1:54Speaker 1: And so from now until next year, I suppose Randy,

- 2:03Speaker 1: you get to call yourself the big Daddy of Big
- 2:07Speaker 1: ninety eight point seven. I hope that is how you
- 2:09Speaker 1: introduce yourself from now on. And we'd love to chat
- 2:13Speaker 1: with you. So if you could give us a call
- 2:15Speaker 1: at seven oh one two eight h one nine eight seven,
- 2:18Speaker 1: we want to talk to Big ninety eight point seven's
- 2:20Speaker 1: new big Daddy.
- 2:22Speaker 3: That's right, and a big congratulations to everyone who was
- 2:25Speaker 3: just nominated. I thought it was so cool because there's
- 2:27Speaker 3: not you know, openly admitting there's not really like a
- 2:30Speaker 3: prize other than we're just really excited and happy for you.
- 2:33Speaker 2: I mean, and bragging rights.
- 2:34Speaker 4: You get to call yourself the Big Daddy bragging rights.
- 2:36Speaker 3: But there were so many people who follow along and
- 2:39Speaker 3: voted and nominated people, and it was just so fun
- 2:42Speaker 3: to have our own little version of March dad ness
- 2:47Speaker 3: as this basketball tournament goes on. So thank you to
- 2:50Speaker 3: everyone who did participate and nominated people. It was really
- 2:53Speaker 3: really cool to just see a lot of the dads
- 2:56Speaker 3: out there getting a little love this March.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, we.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Just got a text from Micah Harwood saying I'm so excited.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Yeah, we're gonna get hold of you very soon here, dude,
- 3:09Speaker 3: and we do have someone very special on the phone
- 3:12Speaker 3: here today.
- 3:13Speaker 4: Who is this.
- 3:14Speaker 5: Well, this is a big Daddy. How are you doing, sir,
- 3:21Speaker 5: I'm doing well. That's actually my my my email as
- 3:25Speaker 5: Big Daddy would stop.
- 3:28Speaker 4: No way.
- 3:29Speaker 3: That is incredible. So Randy, can we asked you know?
- 3:33Speaker 3: Did you know you were a part of this competition?
- 3:36Speaker 3: Were you aware of this?
- 3:37Speaker 4: Well?
- 3:37Speaker 1: I did.
- 3:38Speaker 5: I did when my daughter decided to tell me that
- 3:41Speaker 5: she was nominating me or putting me in the contest.
- 3:44Speaker 2: So this is so great.
- 3:46Speaker 1: We really appreciate you for being such a good sport.
- 3:49Speaker 2: I love that.
- 3:50Speaker 1: As soon as we asked who you were, you said
- 3:52Speaker 1: that you were the big daddy.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Excellent.
- 3:56Speaker 4: And Randy, what is your daughter's name?
- 3:58Speaker 5: Micah?
- 3:58Speaker 3: All right, well, a big shot out to Micah and
- 4:01Speaker 3: Randy Hay, congratulations. You can hang on to that title,
- 4:04Speaker 3: but I will let you know at some point this summer,
- 4:07Speaker 3: I will become a father and I'm gonna try to
- 4:09Speaker 3: come for that title in twenty twenty seven.
- 4:10Speaker 5: All right, sound good. Appreciate it, guys.
- 4:17Speaker 6: Celebrating life's little victories every morning we practice gratitude on
- 4:23Speaker 6: Big ninety eight point seven.
- 4:24Speaker 2: If I could, I would keep this feeling in a
- 4:26Speaker 2: basket job busted out when it was someone's acting hard.
- 4:30Speaker 6: Sure your little victories with us at seven oh one
- 4:33Speaker 6: two and oho one ninety eight seven.
- 4:35Speaker 4: Kids, I also needed to win that day.
- 4:38Speaker 3: All right, Angie, do you have a little victory for
- 4:39Speaker 3: us here today other than your name will be around
- 4:42Speaker 3: the moon very shortly.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Yes, I'm really excited because I'd be late to getting
- 4:48Speaker 1: into some amazing shows just because I got kids. They're
- 4:53Speaker 1: grown up shows. Can't watch the same thing that you
- 4:56Speaker 1: would watch alone, that you would watch when there's a
- 4:59Speaker 1: child in the room.
- 5:01Speaker 2: But I finally started watching Paradise.
- 5:04Speaker 4: Holy my god, it is.
- 5:07Speaker 2: So good so far.
- 5:09Speaker 1: I think I'm about to start episode seven of season one,
- 5:13Speaker 1: and I know that the finale of the second season
- 5:16Speaker 1: just took place, so I am behind, so no spoilers. However,
- 5:21Speaker 1: this show, Gabe, and I know that you watch it.
- 5:24Speaker 2: I know you're a fan.
- 5:25Speaker 1: You always mention it, and I just hadn't gotten to
- 5:28Speaker 1: it because I'm also a reality TV junkie, So I
- 5:30Speaker 1: catch up on those things first. I mean, I was
- 5:34Speaker 1: sleeping on Paradise. That is an excellent show.
- 5:38Speaker 3: Highly recommend. It is incredible. Paradise you can check out
- 5:41Speaker 3: on Hulu. I my wife and I watched the season
- 5:44Speaker 3: two finale yesterday, so.
- 5:45Speaker 4: I got all the Paradise. It is so good.
- 5:49Speaker 3: It is so good so terrible, And by terrible, I
- 5:53Speaker 3: mean you fall in love with these characters, You like
- 5:55Speaker 3: these characters, you hate these kids.
- 5:56Speaker 4: Everything I want to show.
- 5:57Speaker 1: So this is second season and it did not experience
- 6:01Speaker 1: the sophomore slump.
- 6:03Speaker 2: The show is just getting better.
- 6:06Speaker 3: I I would say season one. Everything is always kind
- 6:11Speaker 3: of awesome. When it's new, it's and it's exciting. Yeah,
- 6:14Speaker 3: they just changed the pace a little bit of how
- 6:17Speaker 3: the show goes in season two. So it's not worse,
- 6:21Speaker 3: it's not better, it's just kind of different, but the
- 6:25Speaker 3: same thing.
- 6:25Speaker 4: Yeah, it's still incredible.
- 6:27Speaker 1: All right, So I will remain invested and I'm very
- 6:30Speaker 1: excited to finish my Paradise journey probably by next week.
- 6:34Speaker 3: Yeah, and let us know, is there show you are
- 6:36Speaker 3: invested in right now? At seven oh one two eight
- 6:38Speaker 3: zero one nine eight seven, I give Paradise, you know,
- 6:41Speaker 3: the double thumbs up. I love that show. And we
- 6:44Speaker 3: finished season two last night at the glitten House. Now
- 6:48Speaker 3: my little victory for you here today, Angie. It was
- 6:51Speaker 3: actually very cool, very sweet. When my wife got home,
- 6:54Speaker 3: she was like, can we just go get Culver's or
- 6:56Speaker 3: something like I don't, we don't want to make nothing.
- 6:57Speaker 4: That was like, all right, yeah, that's great.
- 6:59Speaker 3: Well, we also had a cat that we sadly had
- 7:02Speaker 3: to put down a handful of months ago, and we
- 7:05Speaker 3: still had some of her old cat food. It was
- 7:08Speaker 3: like cat meant for seniors and just cats with kidney
- 7:11Speaker 3: issues and things like that, and so.
- 7:13Speaker 4: Well, we aren't really going to use it, so we
- 7:15Speaker 4: donated it.
- 7:16Speaker 3: We actually gave it to an animal shelter in North Fargo,
- 7:20Speaker 3: and of course the name, I can't I think it's
- 7:22Speaker 3: Homeward Animal Shelter if I'm not.
- 7:23Speaker 2: Mistaken, like our animals exactly.
- 7:26Speaker 3: And I'm almost positive. And we were driving around there
- 7:29Speaker 3: and it just is such a cool area if you
- 7:32Speaker 3: didn't know this was like this park there and I
- 7:34Speaker 3: kind of wanted to ask, but they were kind of busy,
- 7:36Speaker 3: So we really just want to drop the stuff off
- 7:38Speaker 3: and leave. But I think you can like walk your
- 7:41Speaker 3: dog around there or something, and I think we have
- 7:44Speaker 3: found a new little adventure spot for Winona. Oh. It's
- 7:47Speaker 3: just such a cool area and we are just glad
- 7:50Speaker 3: we could drop off the cat food for hopefully some
- 7:52Speaker 3: cats who could really use it.
- 7:53Speaker 2: So that is a victory man.
- 7:57Speaker 4: Easter coming up?
- 8:00Speaker 1: What this Sunday is, Yes, Sunday, it's earlier than normal.
- 8:03Speaker 2: So if you feel like it really crept up on
- 8:06Speaker 2: you fast, it did.
- 8:07Speaker 1: That is what happened, right, So, I you know the
- 8:11Speaker 1: easter bunny hides eggs, but then a lot of parents
- 8:14Speaker 1: also add to that and hide eggs around the yard.
- 8:18Speaker 4: The more eggs, the merrier. I always say, Yeah, that's.
- 8:21Speaker 2: How we do in my house.
- 8:22Speaker 1: And I have this really amusing hack to make this
- 8:28Speaker 1: hunt a little bit fun for the parents, right, because
- 8:32Speaker 1: we have to really to fill every egg with the things,
- 8:36Speaker 1: and it's time consuming, and the Easter bunny usually already
- 8:40Speaker 1: found all the good spots to hide the eggs.
- 8:42Speaker 2: So then as parents, we have to find even more
- 8:44Speaker 2: spots to hide the egg.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Yeah, yes, right, okay, So this is what I do
- 8:51Speaker 1: every year, And I'm gonna share a video of this
- 8:54Speaker 1: on the big ninety eight point seven of Facebook page
- 8:56Speaker 1: just so you know I'm not lying.
- 8:57Speaker 2: I really do do this.
- 8:59Speaker 1: I always a couple of the eggs and just put
- 9:03Speaker 1: some trash in.
- 9:04Speaker 4: Them, well, like like broken q tips, So that's.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly, the broken que tips.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Sometimes it's just rocks wrapped in paper, yeah, whatever, just
- 9:14Speaker 1: little bits of trash, and then you put it in
- 9:17Speaker 1: just a couple of the eggs.
- 9:18Speaker 2: You don't want to break their hearts too much, right, But.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Then it is kind of fun when your kid is
- 9:24Speaker 1: like going through the eggs and they're like what is this?
- 9:27Speaker 3: Yeah, I could see that when they go through the
- 9:29Speaker 3: eggs and it's like, oh, nice, some candy. The Easter
- 9:31Speaker 3: bunny gave me some candy. Oh I found this one
- 9:33Speaker 3: with a reesus in it. Oh, this has got some skittles.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 9:35Speaker 2: We even do eggs that have like a dollar.
- 9:37Speaker 4: Bill in them. Yeah.
- 9:38Speaker 3: And then it's like, mom, why do I have what
- 9:41Speaker 3: looks like the bedrock that's outside in the garden.
- 9:46Speaker 4: That's pretty good.
- 9:47Speaker 1: It's so it's I feel like it's a very mild
- 9:50Speaker 1: version of that Jimmy Kimmel thing where you tell your
- 9:53Speaker 1: kids that you ate all the Halloween candy.
- 9:55Speaker 2: I feel like I've always felt so bad for those kids.
- 9:58Speaker 4: I thought that was too extreme.
- 10:00Speaker 1: So a couple of eggs with some trash in them,
- 10:02Speaker 1: I think that's fine. So take that hack and it'll
- 10:06Speaker 1: be really amusing as you watch your kids open the
- 10:08Speaker 1: eggs to see which one gets the rocks.
- 10:11Speaker 4: Yeah. And you know what, it helps build character?
- 10:14Speaker 3: Yeah, it helps build you know, maybe a tiny little
- 10:16Speaker 3: bit of an adventure, a little competition, like, oh, I'm
- 10:19Speaker 3: gonna try to find the eggs that don't have the
- 10:22Speaker 3: rocks that's three chips or paper clips in them.
- 10:24Speaker 4: I like this hack.
- 10:25Speaker 3: I'm gonna borrow this at some point in my life
- 10:27Speaker 3: and I will remember on April first that you gave
- 10:30Speaker 3: me this hack.
- 10:30Speaker 4: Angie.
- 10:31Speaker 3: I appreciate that, use that, and then do you do
- 10:34Speaker 3: anything like this? Obviously, the bunny has the eggs, and
- 10:38Speaker 3: ninety nine times out of one hundred they're full of
- 10:39Speaker 3: the good stuff. But when you add to those eggs,
- 10:43Speaker 3: is there anything that you put in them that might
- 10:46Speaker 3: not necessarily be you know, a little bag of skittles
- 10:49Speaker 3: or a snicker bar or something. Let us know this
- 10:51Speaker 3: morning at seven oh one two eight zero one nine
- 10:54Speaker 3: eight seven. Have you ever tried to put like jello
- 10:56Speaker 3: in one of those plastic eggs? You think that's doable?
- 10:59Speaker 3: Let us know this morning here on Big ninety eight
- 11:01Speaker 3: point seven.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Welcome to the Space Gem, Dijo chains Judio days at
- 11:09Speaker 1: the Space Jem.
- 11:10Speaker 3: If you could travel to the moon, would you which
- 11:14Speaker 3: makes me laugh at an old SNL line if the.
- 11:17Speaker 4: Moon's made a spare ribs, would you eat it? Uh?
- 11:20Speaker 4: If you can travel to the moon, would you do it?
- 11:22Speaker 3: This has been all over the television today and the
- 11:25Speaker 3: news as there is going to be an Artemis two launch. Now, Angie,
- 11:30Speaker 3: you know a little bit more about this because your
- 11:32Speaker 3: boyfriend Mikey is, as you've said, a space space nerd.
- 11:36Speaker 2: So the Artemist too.
- 11:37Speaker 1: It's going to be the first manned mission on an
- 11:41Speaker 1: Artemis and it's going to orbit the Moon farther than
- 11:44Speaker 1: anyone has ever orbited.
- 11:47Speaker 4: So this is me just historic thing.
- 11:49Speaker 1: It's historic, and they are going to launch into space
- 11:53Speaker 1: if all goes well, no earlier than five twenty four PM.
- 11:56Speaker 1: So we're very excited in my household. We are going
- 12:01Speaker 1: up into space with them, but in the form of
- 12:04Speaker 1: our names are on a memory chip that's inside their
- 12:07Speaker 1: zero gravity indicator.
- 12:10Speaker 2: But other than that, we're staying on the ground.
- 12:12Speaker 3: Well, that, I guess poses the question if you had
- 12:14Speaker 3: the chance to do a little visit to the Moon
- 12:17Speaker 3: or orbit around it, I guess would you do it?
- 12:21Speaker 3: And I do have this question for you as well
- 12:23Speaker 3: on the Big ninety eight point seven Facebook page. You
- 12:24Speaker 3: can always call us seven h one two eight zero
- 12:27Speaker 3: one nine eight seven.
- 12:29Speaker 4: Are you going to the Moon? If you could? Angie,
- 12:31Speaker 4: I guess no.
- 12:34Speaker 1: I get scared because even with all the protocol, they
- 12:37Speaker 1: do a lot of safety stuff, and I do think
- 12:39Speaker 1: this is safer because it's NASA and not like a
- 12:43Speaker 1: private company like Blue Origin and whatever. But if anything
- 12:48Speaker 1: goes wrong, you are either you know, you explode on
- 12:52Speaker 1: the way up, which we have seen happen in history,
- 12:55Speaker 1: which is terrible. Or you're stuck in space for however long.
- 12:59Speaker 1: Those two astronauts that were stuck in space for one
- 13:02Speaker 1: hundred and fifty two years remember those?
- 13:04Speaker 4: Yes, just last year?
- 13:05Speaker 2: Yeah, Like I can't.
- 13:08Speaker 1: I'm too much of a I get intrusive thoughts of
- 13:10Speaker 1: what could go wrong that I don't think it would
- 13:13Speaker 1: let me actually get on the shit.
- 13:16Speaker 4: Yeah, I feel you.
- 13:17Speaker 3: I would love to be brave enough to go check
- 13:21Speaker 3: out the moon. You know how many people get to
- 13:23Speaker 3: tell that story, like less than point one percent of
- 13:27Speaker 3: the population, And that would be such an awesome thing
- 13:29Speaker 3: to bring up around Thanksgiving when your older brother and
- 13:32Speaker 3: younger sister are telling you about all their accomplishments and
- 13:34Speaker 3: you're like, well, I went to the moon. Yeah right,
- 13:36Speaker 3: that kind of trumps everything. I I'm kind of with you,
- 13:39Speaker 3: though I don't think I could do it. I don't
- 13:42Speaker 3: necessarily worry about the getting stuck there, per se. I'm
- 13:45Speaker 3: just pretty claustrophobic.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Oh I did not know you.
- 13:49Speaker 4: And if you are.
- 13:51Speaker 3: Stuck, it's not the being stuck, but you are stuck
- 13:54Speaker 3: in this relatively small kind of thing, right.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Because it's this one there orbiting. It's a ten day mission. Yeah,
- 14:02Speaker 1: so you couldn't do in that small of a space
- 14:05Speaker 1: ten day.
- 14:06Speaker 3: No, not even close. I barely like flying on a
- 14:08Speaker 3: plane for a handful of hours just because it is fun.
- 14:12Speaker 3: You know, it's cool to be on the plane, and
- 14:14Speaker 3: you know you're all excited to go on vacation. But
- 14:16Speaker 3: I just get a little bit like, oh, I'm actually
- 14:18Speaker 3: sort of stuck in here.
- 14:19Speaker 2: I never factored in claustrophobia.
- 14:21Speaker 4: I don't love that idea. What do you think though?
- 14:24Speaker 3: Let us know once again at seven zho one two
- 14:27Speaker 3: eight zero one nine eight seven Diana, are you.
- 14:30Speaker 4: A chicken like energy I? Or are you going to
- 14:33Speaker 4: the moon.
- 14:34Speaker 2: I don't even like turbulence on a plane.
- 14:36Speaker 1: You think I'm strapping myself to a rocket Perspectually, I'll.
- 14:39Speaker 2: Admire the moon from my backyard with a blanket and
- 14:42Speaker 2: a snack.
- 14:42Speaker 4: Yeah, there's nothing wrong with that.
- 14:44Speaker 3: Here's what I'd say if I can adjust the rules
- 14:47Speaker 3: to this hypothetical question we have this morning, if it
- 14:50Speaker 3: was a guaranteed like one hundred percent, it will be fine.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:56Speaker 4: Would that change your answer? Would you go for ten days?
- 14:59Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 15:00Speaker 2: I would do it.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Well, I would do it as long as it was
- 15:03Speaker 1: that I was also serving some purpose like research or something.
- 15:07Speaker 2: I don't ever want to end up like Katie.
- 15:09Speaker 4: Pears if you're just going out there for the incident.
- 15:11Speaker 1: I do not want to end up like Katy Parry
- 15:13Speaker 1: with all the backlash and everybody couldn't stand her. It
- 15:16Speaker 1: led to her divorce, It led to nobody caring that
- 15:19Speaker 1: she's dating Justin Trudeau, the former Prime Minister of Canada.
- 15:22Speaker 2: I just I don't want to be Katie.
- 15:24Speaker 4: Nick, are you traveling to the moon.
- 15:26Speaker 6: I would love to travel to space, just to be
- 15:28Speaker 6: able to tell that story to people.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Imagine knowing someone who has gone into space and visited
- 15:33Speaker 1: the moon, Like, what a huge accomplishment that would be.
- 15:36Speaker 4: Nick.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Okay, see he was listening to you about that story
- 15:39Speaker 1: of Thanksgiving.
- 15:40Speaker 3: Yeah you get the end all conversations like Trump card
- 15:44Speaker 3: you win. Yeah, you know on the way Harry Styles
- 15:47Speaker 3: and aperture. We will have the tea coming up. But
- 15:49Speaker 3: it's just an interesting conversation for a historic moment happening today.
- 15:53Speaker 4: Let us know if you would go to the moon
- 15:55Speaker 4: or not.
- 15:58Speaker 6: This is a Hi the problem, it's me him on the.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Problem, It's me.
- 16:05Speaker 6: We'll hear one side of the story, and with your help,
- 16:08Speaker 6: am I the problem with you? Decide if it's right
- 16:10Speaker 6: or if maybe you're the problem. I'm hardly the problem.
- 16:14Speaker 4: On Big ninety eight point seven.
- 16:17Speaker 2: We got an email from Corbin.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Hi, guys, I know you hear workplace drama all the time,
- 16:22Speaker 1: so I figured i'd send you mine.
- 16:25Speaker 2: At work, our kitchen area.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Is pretty small, so if something stinks in the sink,
- 16:29Speaker 1: it stinks up the whole kitchen. Monday last week, there
- 16:32Speaker 1: were some dirty dishes in the sink, and by Tuesday
- 16:35Speaker 1: it was putrid the second you walked in the kitchen.
- 16:39Speaker 1: I sent an all staff email asking for the person
- 16:42Speaker 1: whose dishes they are.
- 16:43Speaker 4: To wash them.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Nothing.
- 16:44Speaker 1: I sent another email saying I'd throw them away if
- 16:47Speaker 1: they were still there by Friday.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Friday came threw them out.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Turns out the girl whose dishes they were was on
- 16:55Speaker 1: PTO from last Tuesday until Monday of this week, and
- 16:59Speaker 1: she is big mad because those were her good dishes
- 17:02Speaker 1: or something like that. Am I the problem for tossing them?
- 17:06Speaker 1: I gave a grace period. Now she wants me to buy.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Her some plates. Thoughts.
- 17:12Speaker 3: That is the most dude sentence we've ever seen, by
- 17:15Speaker 3: the way in an am I the problem or something
- 17:17Speaker 3: like that?
- 17:18Speaker 4: Yeah? Who is this?
- 17:20Speaker 3: Corby Gorbon? One thousand percent? You're the problem, bro oh
- 17:25Speaker 3: thousand percent. Obviously if someone makes something or has something
- 17:29Speaker 3: gross in the kitchen, yeah, and it ruins it for everybody.
- 17:33Speaker 4: It just stinks. But who are you the dishes police?
- 17:36Speaker 4: All right? Like, yes, it's annoying.
- 17:38Speaker 3: You know what you also could just do instead of
- 17:41Speaker 3: throw them away if they bother you that much, just
- 17:44Speaker 3: wash them. Yes, it's annoying. No you shouldn't have to.
- 17:47Speaker 3: But if it's that bad and she's not around, or
- 17:51Speaker 3: just wash them. I would be furious if someone threw
- 17:55Speaker 3: away my good glass tupperware that I had sitting in
- 18:00Speaker 3: the sink because of some soup. Now, I would never
- 18:03Speaker 3: do this because I'm not an animal and I always
- 18:04Speaker 3: finish the soup anyway. But who are you to just
- 18:09Speaker 3: chuck someone's stuff away? Yes, go buy her some new plates.
- 18:12Speaker 3: You threw them away?
- 18:14Speaker 1: Seven oh one two, eight oh one nine eight seven.
- 18:16Speaker 1: What are your thoughts? Is Corbin the problem for throwing
- 18:19Speaker 1: out the dishes or should he have given her some
- 18:23Speaker 1: more grease?
- 18:23Speaker 4: Let us know what you think here on Big ninety
- 18:25Speaker 4: eight point seven nine on the problem at me.
- 18:34Speaker 2: Here's the sitch.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Corbin at work, there were dirty dishes in the sink
- 18:38Speaker 1: on a Monday. He said, if by Friday these dishes
- 18:42Speaker 1: don't get washed by whosever dishes they are, I'm throwing
- 18:46Speaker 1: them away?
- 18:47Speaker 2: And then he did.
- 18:48Speaker 1: Turns out, when he got back to work on Monday,
- 18:51Speaker 1: his coworker whose dishes they were, she had been on
- 18:55Speaker 1: vacation all week and so she did not wash the
- 18:59Speaker 1: di She wasn't physically there, and she came to work
- 19:03Speaker 1: and was like, where's my dishes?
- 19:04Speaker 2: And turns out he threw them away.
- 19:06Speaker 1: So he wants to know if he's the problem or
- 19:09Speaker 1: if she was the problem. Now, Gabe, you said that
- 19:13Speaker 1: he's absolutely the problem. Who are you the dishes police?
- 19:17Speaker 1: That was my favorite? Ah, you are getting cooked in
- 19:21Speaker 1: these text messages.
- 19:23Speaker 3: And here is one thing I will say. Okay, I
- 19:26Speaker 3: will clarify. Two things can be true. Should this girl
- 19:30Speaker 3: have washed her dishes or brought them home one thousand percent? Yes, okay,
- 19:36Speaker 3: But she didn't. That doesn't give you the right to
- 19:38Speaker 3: just throw her stuff away.
- 19:40Speaker 4: I want the.
- 19:40Speaker 3: Dudes who are cooking me in these text messages. I
- 19:44Speaker 3: want to put a scenario out there for you. You
- 19:47Speaker 3: have a hammer that you have under the sink that
- 19:50Speaker 3: you have not used in months. All right, You've just
- 19:54Speaker 3: left it there because you didn't want to walk all
- 19:56Speaker 3: the way back to the garage to put it away.
- 19:58Speaker 3: You just had So you have just his hammer under
- 19:59Speaker 3: the and your wife goes, hey, will you get rid
- 20:02Speaker 3: of this hammer? And you do it four hundred days
- 20:05Speaker 3: later because you didn't do that right away either, and
- 20:08Speaker 3: she just decides, Ah, I'm just gonna throw this hammer away.
- 20:12Speaker 4: You would be furious, Okay, not tell me. Oh yeah,
- 20:16Speaker 4: so you can throw people's things away. That's insane to me.
- 20:19Speaker 1: I actually, because I hadn't given my opinion yet.
- 20:23Speaker 2: I'm on team Gabe.
- 20:25Speaker 1: I think what happened with this girl is that she
- 20:28Speaker 1: had her dishes on Monday and then she was so
- 20:31Speaker 1: excited to get on vacation, which girl I get that
- 20:34Speaker 1: she just forgot her dishes in there, and then she
- 20:37Speaker 1: left for the duration of the time and then came back.
- 20:40Speaker 1: He said in his email, I sent an all staff email.
- 20:43Speaker 1: I gave a grace period.
- 20:45Speaker 2: I don't check my work email when I'm on PTO.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Have you lost your mind? I've earned that personal time.
- 20:52Speaker 1: I'm not going to haint it with work emails. And
- 20:56Speaker 1: so then she gets back and all she did was
- 20:58Speaker 1: ask for him to get her some more plates. I
- 21:01Speaker 1: don't think that that's a wild ask. I shouldn't ask
- 21:04Speaker 1: you for a kidney. I think it's some plates.
- 21:07Speaker 2: I think he is the problem. But on Facebook and
- 21:10Speaker 2: in our text.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Messages, opposite of what we're saying, Francis said, maybe don't
- 21:15Speaker 1: leave your nasty dishes in the sink for a week,
- 21:18Speaker 1: just a thought. You did nothing wrong. Corbin did nothing
- 21:22Speaker 1: wrong in Francis's eyes. And then Julia, Julia, who usually
- 21:27Speaker 1: agrees with me, not today. She said, no, Corbin is
- 21:32Speaker 1: not the problem, because why would she leave her dirty
- 21:34Speaker 1: dishes and then go on PTO.
- 21:36Speaker 2: That's actually insane and she is in the wrong.
- 21:39Speaker 3: I hope, I hope all of you never make a
- 21:42Speaker 3: mistake or forget something in your work fridge effort, because
- 21:45Speaker 3: God forbid, you forgot something one time. And now I
- 21:49Speaker 3: will say, if this was a repeated thing, if she
- 21:51Speaker 3: had does ten fifteen times, sure, but one time this
- 21:56Speaker 3: girl forgot something and we're just we can throw it
- 21:58Speaker 3: away now that it's insane behavior to me, that's crazy.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Oh yeah, no, I agree with you.
- 22:04Speaker 1: And you know what, our girl Yolanda agrees with us.
- 22:08Speaker 4: Thank you, thank you. What Yolanda say, Angie?
- 22:12Speaker 2: She said, oh gosh, here we go.
- 22:15Speaker 3: She said, Corbin, if you're sending out an all staff
- 22:19Speaker 3: email about dirty dishes, we already know you're the problem,
- 22:22Speaker 3: get a grip and put some to dish soap bottom.
- 22:25Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 22:26Speaker 3: And then I was like, thank you, I'm getting cooked
- 22:28Speaker 3: here and she said they're.
- 22:30Speaker 4: Fools, all of them. Tell you what.
- 22:35Speaker 3: I'm real fired up in the studio here, Angie, from
- 22:38Speaker 3: our am I the problem?
- 22:39Speaker 4: On Facebook? Holy smokes, this will be one of those ones.
- 22:42Speaker 3: It'll be fun to go back at two and just
- 22:45Speaker 3: eat the popcorn and reading the comments. Here is what
- 22:48Speaker 3: I will say before we crown our our march dadness winner.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Okay, oh my gosh, I thought for one second you
- 22:55Speaker 1: were going to say the big Daddy, a big ninety
- 22:57Speaker 1: eight point seven. There are a lot of people for
- 23:00Speaker 1: am I the problem? And if you don't have a
- 23:01Speaker 1: clue we're talking about it is all up on Facebook?
- 23:03Speaker 1: But who are basically totally fine with throwing away these
- 23:06Speaker 1: dishes that someone left at work?
- 23:08Speaker 3: Now multiple things can be true. Should this lady have
- 23:11Speaker 3: left them there, obviously not. Should you clean up after
- 23:13Speaker 3: yourself when you're at the workplate place kitchen, obviously it's
- 23:17Speaker 3: not your kitchen, right, clean up after yourself. That is
- 23:20Speaker 3: very simple. However, all of these individuals who are totally
- 23:25Speaker 3: fine with is throwing this girl's stuff away is crazy
- 23:29Speaker 3: to me. Okay, I hope you never leave your ID somewhere,
- 23:32Speaker 3: lose your cell phone, whatever the case may be, and
- 23:35Speaker 3: someone picks it up and goes, hey, you know what,
- 23:37Speaker 3: I'm gonna not try to get them this idea or
- 23:39Speaker 3: that cell phone back because if.
- 23:41Speaker 4: They really cared about them, they wouldn't have left them there.
- 23:44Speaker 3: That's crazy to me that if you lost your ID
- 23:47Speaker 3: and someone just chucked it and then't try to get
- 23:50Speaker 3: a hold of you to get it.
- 23:51Speaker 4: Back to you.
- 23:51Speaker 1: It is so rare for you to get this worked
- 23:56Speaker 1: up about literally anything.
- 23:59Speaker 2: So I like this. I like this passion to start
- 24:02Speaker 2: off the month of April.
- 24:03Speaker 6: That's right, starting off the day with something good. This
- 24:12Speaker 6: is Gabe's good News on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 24:18Speaker 3: Drayton pre k teacher Maggie Vold from Drayton Public School.
- 24:24Speaker 3: She is gaining recognition in the America's Favorite Teacher contest,
- 24:30Speaker 3: where she's currently leading her group No. One for creating
- 24:34Speaker 3: a fun, positive learning environment. Voldas spent five years teaching
- 24:38Speaker 3: pre K and is praised by her students for her
- 24:41Speaker 3: kindness and encouragement. And some of those students were actually asked, Hey,
- 24:44Speaker 3: why should Missvold win this? And here's what they had
- 24:47Speaker 3: to say.
- 24:48Speaker 2: Because missus Wood tells us to do big changs because
- 24:53Speaker 2: she did everything she can.
- 24:55Speaker 3: I want to make sure that they all enjoy school,
- 24:58Speaker 3: that they have a love of learning, but you know,
- 25:00Speaker 3: it's a positive environment for them always. This contest includes
- 25:06Speaker 3: a twenty five thousand dollars prize, and vold said she's
- 25:09Speaker 3: most excited about the chance to bring Bill Nye to
- 25:11Speaker 3: her school and plans to give part of any winnings
- 25:15Speaker 3: back to support science learning for her students, which is, Oh.
- 25:19Speaker 2: My gosh, what a gem. A good teacher goes a
- 25:23Speaker 2: long way.
- 25:23Speaker 1: It takes a village, and a big part of the
- 25:26Speaker 1: village is excellent teachers who really care about your kids.
- 25:29Speaker 2: And it looks like she does.
- 25:30Speaker 4: That's right.
- 25:30Speaker 3: And if you're unfamiliar Drayton, it's just north of Grand Forks,
- 25:33Speaker 3: a little bit so right here in North Dakota. Teacher
- 25:36Speaker 3: potentially winning America's Favorite Teacher.
- 25:40Speaker 4: What an awesome story.
- 25:41Speaker 3: My favorite quote broken crayon, still color, and the world
- 25:45Speaker 3: is full of nice people.
- 25:45Speaker 4: If you can't find one, you gotta be one.
