- 0:07Hello and welcome to episode 41 of Bradders Grappas.
- 0:14Welcome on this baking hot Saturday afternoon in sunny old
- 0:20Manchester. I was going to say where I am,
- 0:25but I'm not giving you that information.
- 0:28Hopefully the weather where you are is as nice as it is here.
- 0:37If not, sorry, I don't care. But yes, this particular episode
- 0:46we're going to review happened at the start of May down in
- 0:53Stourbridge as it is the home for Bridge Pro Wrestling and
- 1:01their show that was entitled Exiled.
- 1:07So I don't want to use that term a lot.
- 1:10I feel this was going into it. My 13th show out of the 15th
- 1:18they have put out. I think I have.
- 1:22Oh no, sorry, I haven't been to 13.
- 1:25I've been to 13 out of 16 of the shows that they have put out
- 1:31because a couple I had to miss out on unfortunately.
- 1:37That all being said, it is a promotion that I do enjoy a lot
- 1:44and if you saw the anniversary anniversary, the awards I did at
- 1:50the end of last year and I would very kindly ask you not to watch
- 1:57that because it's God awful. You will have seen I gave Bridge
- 2:01Pro the joint prize for promotion or my favourite
- 2:06promotion of the year and getting there is a bit of a ball
- 2:14like if truth be actually told, because it normally involves
- 2:20about free trains on a good day. On a bad day it can involve 5 or
- 2:286 trains, which I had to do at the start of last year back at
- 2:38when they did the Bridge Pro Rumble and resulted in not just
- 2:45struggling to get there, struggling to get back as it
- 2:51required a £98.92 Uber ride from Smethwick Galton Bridge.
- 3:00A place I truly despise because I always get have some train
- 3:07problems when I get to that venue or station I should say.
- 3:15But I, I make it, I do it because I love the shows.
- 3:20So I I suppose just one day though I'd love no kind of like
- 3:26transportation problems. I'm I'm not asking for a lot.
- 3:31Well, maybe yeah. But anyhow.
- 3:36So before we get to the main show, we had a special pre show
- 3:43which had the contest between Chicago Desai and JC.
- 3:53I'll give you the result at the end, obviously.
- 3:56So JC comes out with a microphone which no one in
- 4:02Stourbridge ever wants and we hope never ever happens.
- 4:07Every show. But it does.
- 4:09He gets in the ring, cuts a promo claiming conspiracy over
- 4:15something. Now the promo was not bad, it
- 4:26was also not good and they had nothing to do with him.
- 4:32It The problem me and a few people had was the audio,
- 4:40especially the microphone sounded like they were chewing
- 4:44it just due to how they kind of installed the audio because it
- 4:52sounded like a a wedding DJ or a taxi driver just shouting into
- 5:00kind of like the radio and you couldn't fully make out what was
- 5:05being said. But I I suppose a good part
- 5:10though of this was you did have the crowd talking of ranting and
- 5:17raving over him saying please cut the mic, which unfortunately
- 5:24they didn't. So JC cuts his promo.
- 5:32I still don't know what it was. Unfortunately for him.
- 5:38The only reason I knew there was talk of conspiracy was there was
- 5:43three people behind me all waiting on him to cut the line.
- 5:48It's a conspiracy. So from what I can gather on
- 5:55promotions he does around the Midlands, it has to be his kind
- 6:00of catch phrase currently. So there was that any who his
- 6:12opponent, as I say, Chicago decide someone who, unless I'm
- 6:18wrong, made their Rev Pro debut a couple of weeks ago.
- 6:25I think it was when it was in Sheffield and from reports I've
- 6:31read did very well, which is always a bonus.
- 6:36But on this particular match, we're going to talk about it.
- 6:40Saw it saw a really good contest for what time they had, which I
- 6:47think was about 5 or 4 minutes. It it wasn't long but what they
- 6:53did they put a lot into so the the notes I have saw designer
- 7:02getting beaten down prior to the bell.
- 7:07Chicago then hits a suplex but would very soon after take a
- 7:12boot to the face from Jaycee as they then have control.
- 7:21Jaycee does a or looks to hit a clothesline but decide does the
- 7:27splits and follows it with a suplex.
- 7:31Chicago then chases JC around the the venue at the Wollaston
- 7:37Village Hall, which is a very quaint little venue, is
- 7:44effectively the second venue that they they do use Bridge
- 7:52Pro, the Ambleco Legion Club being the first because it has
- 7:58arguably it's probably smaller. I say it's smaller.
- 8:06The Wollaston is a bigger venue, but it feels like Ambleco is the
- 8:13bigger set up, if that makes any sense.
- 8:19So we see Chicago chasing JC through the curtains to the
- 8:24Wards. The back from there we see the
- 8:28debuting bounty hunter BAE Connors as he sends Chicago
- 8:34flying back out to ringside through the curtains and from
- 8:39there it has Chicago thrown back into the ring where Connors lays
- 8:47beat down on him and JC grabs the microphone again cutting a
- 8:52promo with the crowd really hot, literally JC and Connors.
- 9:01We then have Levi Cooper running in to make save for Chicago with
- 9:08Connors and JC leaving ringside very happy with what they've
- 9:14just accomplished and as we would soon find out, has this
- 9:20particularly playing out in the opening contest of the main
- 9:26show. Again, for what they did in the
- 9:32little time they had, they I think they accomplished what
- 9:40they had had to do. At the time I would have
- 9:44disagreed, but letting it play out fully it definitely it makes
- 9:53more sense as you will soon find out as we come to the main show.
- 10:02So we have the kind of like the two-minute, 5 minute warning and
- 10:08we get to the opening contest. Yes, I will be playing a few of
- 10:30those Nuggets over the course of the show.
- 10:33So we start off with match #1 and it saw Tara Grey, the living
- 10:46dead girl joined by Blade Violet as they took on the team of Axel
- 10:54Riot and Killer Kyle George. Before we get to the actual
- 11:03match taking place, we have memes coming out, someone I have
- 11:09not seen for quite a while now that you have to go back to.
- 11:16Could have been last or definitely was last year at
- 11:21Bridge Pro. I can't remember what the actual
- 11:25match was or what the occasion was at least.
- 11:29But Meme says that he is going to be involved in this tag team
- 11:33tournament. God for even Pardon does not
- 11:39know who his partner is going to be because the original partner
- 11:47was going to be ref stay no Grimshaw but he was not there
- 11:55and so Memes would have to look in the back for a replacement as
- 12:01his tag team partner. So we've original, well I say
- 12:07original. We then get into the actual
- 12:10opening contest as both Tara Grey and Blade Violet have the
- 12:17early advantage, Grey laying in some really good chops.
- 12:24Some chops, but you would be proud of the crowd.
- 12:29Just get on their back chanting Tara Socks.
- 12:34Axel Rotten then hits a rope assisted Hurricane Rana on
- 12:39Violet soon after. Blade takes most of the offence
- 12:46from the opponents and as Riot goes to hit a 619 as he bounces
- 12:54off the fire ropes, he gets tripped up by Grey.
- 13:00This leads to Violet hitting a spinebuster on Axel.
- 13:06Tara Grey then tags herself in, hits a running baseball slide
- 13:12into a clothesline on Riot who is leaning on the bottom rope.
- 13:20Tara then asking the crowd are you not entertained with the
- 13:25gesturing she does how she gestures too much to the point
- 13:32that she nearly gets rolled up for a free count.
- 13:38We then have her tagging in Blade summons her or summons him
- 13:44to get the opponents and leads to while my page freezes.
- 13:53There we go. Leads to Tara taking a kick to
- 13:57the back of the head. George then hits the flying head
- 14:02scissors, causing Blade to lean over the middle rope perfectly
- 14:08just in the right position for Axel Riot to hit the 619, and
- 14:14he's followed by a spinning Roundhouse kick from George to
- 14:19put Blade down for the 1-2 and the three as Tara Grey and Blade
- 14:27Violet are eliminated from this gauntlet.
- 14:33However, Grey does not want to leave, throws a complete hazy
- 14:39fit, sits cross legged in the ring leading to blade picking
- 14:47her up, taking her towards the edge of the apron, putting him
- 14:56on his shoulders and carries her to the back.
- 14:59And Grey is still not a happy camper.
- 15:05Team three if teams one and two were in the first contest.
- 15:11We have memes coming back out and he's still looking for a
- 15:17partner in this gauntlet match. He asks the MC, Stuart Summers,
- 15:23who he says I know you've done a bit, would you want to be my tag
- 15:29partner? And he laughs and goes no, no I
- 15:33don't. We all chant for Troy Grant who
- 15:37is doing the video ink and he tells us off and says no way on
- 15:44earth as he's laughing at the crowd shout for Ryan Parrot the
- 15:50bridge pro owner and then he heads towards Parrot but it
- 15:57drags a member of the crowd out who we do not know who it is
- 16:02till he kind of gets up until about where the ring curtains
- 16:11are and it turns out to be the minesweeper Ashley Dunn.
- 16:17He he says I don't want any part of this.
- 16:20I don't want to do this memes who just stares at him like a
- 16:25like a child. It's all kind of chocolate takes
- 16:31on board what Dunn says and then throws him into the ring where
- 16:36Riots and George begin to just put the boots to him
- 16:40effectively. In the end, it has done getting
- 16:47some momentum back. Stands in front of Memes, who is
- 16:53still stood in the corner with a a happy smirk, a happy go
- 16:57attitude. Done is none of these things,
- 17:03says he he wants he just wanted to stand at the back and watch
- 17:06the bloody show as he tells Memes.
- 17:11He takes this on board again, tags in and says OK I'll I'll
- 17:16I'll do the action now. Done just head just drops and
- 17:21goes what have I let myself in for then has George chopping
- 17:29Memes in the chest. Memes tries to be as nice as pie
- 17:35with him. George chops in couple more
- 17:39times, Memes apologises and gives him a big overhand chop
- 17:47which echoes throughout the village hall.
- 17:52The ongoing theme is done what not wanting in this match?
- 17:59Memes who thinks they're working as a team and they're not.
- 18:06Dunn is so angry with Memes he runs towards him to hit a
- 18:12clothesline, but instead they weirdly do a double team to it.
- 18:22Dunn then runs with a clothesline to hit Memes in the
- 18:26back. Memes ducks and takes out George
- 18:31and then Memes and Dunn kind of have another argument.
- 18:38No it's one sided obviously. Memes again takes it on board,
- 18:46choke slams done. But does it on top of George and
- 18:51sees them getting the pinfall victory and moving on.
- 18:56In this tournament team #4 is that of the moon age dream Brad
- 19:04Osborne and Ola Owens. We start things off with Ola
- 19:12hitting a flying leg scissors on memes.
- 19:17This ends with Dunn also being knocked off the apron but is
- 19:24caught by his new tag team partner in memes.
- 19:28Owens then dives through the ropes to take both men out on
- 19:33the outside. Brad Osborne then hits a
- 19:37sidewalks lamp where Dunn responds via a springboard
- 19:43handspring elbow, which was really nice.
- 19:48We then have a nasty little spot in the contest where Owens comes
- 19:54off the top rope with Osborne holding Dunn in a suplex.
- 20:00The landing sees Dunn coming down on the.
- 20:05Kind of the crown of his head and there was a good few seconds
- 20:13where everyone kind of holds the breath and thinks is he OK and
- 20:20all the like. Enthusiasm seemed to just hit a
- 20:23bit of a road bump on that particular move.
- 20:28Thankfully Don is OK Ola Owens then hits a running drop kick
- 20:36that turns done inside out. Osborne hits a close line on
- 20:41memes and when Owens is caught in an RKO having jumped off the
- 20:48top rope. Memes after hitting the RKO
- 20:53again. Perfect RKO, which you will see
- 20:57in the video graphic if I bothered to post it, that sees
- 21:03them making it 2 and O and advancing in this tag
- 21:08tournament. We then have the next team being
- 21:14that of Ray, Connor, and JC. Connor and JC come through the
- 21:21back of the room, though attacking memes are done.
- 21:26The duo hit a double team with Connors holding up John and JC
- 21:32hitting a running attack that puts him down for the free count
- 21:39and sees unfortunately the run of memes and done over in this
- 21:48gauntlet. Team number six is Chicago Desai
- 21:55and Levi Cooper. This would be the penultimate
- 21:59team in this gauntlet match and all four men just go at it
- 22:07obviously from what a transpired about 20 maybe 30 minutes prior
- 22:15as they hit stereo drop kicks to the head of JC who is kneeling
- 22:21in the ring. That's followed by an axe kick
- 22:26from Chicago and Leeds, Desiree and Cooper to advance and also
- 22:33gain some revenge from what happened earlier in the pre
- 22:38show. Your 7th and final team in this
- 22:45tag team gauntlet contest is Zeros to Heroes in Nate Riley
- 22:51and Edgar Adams. This was fast-paced from the
- 22:56outset. The speed demon Edgar Adams and
- 23:01the Skywalker Nate Riley start fast but as soon derailed when
- 23:08Desai hits a sit down powerbomb on Adams.
- 23:14Riley hits a black hole slam similar to like a black hole
- 23:19slam. Cooper breaks up the pin and
- 23:23follows it up with a standing moonsault on Riley.
- 23:29Both teams then trade punches going back and forth.
- 23:35Adams hits a super kit to Cooper when he was going for the
- 23:39pinfall. I believe we get a Springboard
- 23:43stunner by Adams which turns into a German suplex by Riley,
- 23:49only gets a 2 count before a spinning powerbomb which I've
- 23:56heard also is called the Satellite Bomb that gains the
- 24:01123 on Chicago and sees Zeros to Heroes being the new #1
- 24:10contenders for the tag team titles for.
- 24:15So for the tag team titles later in the summer.
- 24:20Obviously the tag titles at the moment are held by the Exile
- 24:27Pact, that being Alex Connors and Luke Douglas as next month I
- 24:36think it is, they face the relentless All Stars in
- 24:41Rhiannon, Jade and Ruby Manitoba.
- 24:45More on that later on. We are then joined by the Part
- 24:55Bridge Pro GM Alex Dean as he makes the ruling that that
- 25:05Samuel Hughes I can't. Again, this ties into the whole
- 25:10thing of you couldn't clearly hear what was being said from
- 25:13where we were, so we missed a lot of it.
- 25:19But the the end game of all this saw Dean ruling that Brandon
- 25:25Jordan is the real bridge grand champion and declares it so.
- 25:34So with that, we then moved into match #2 and had the first
- 25:42title, well the first title defence since Jordan was named
- 25:49as the real Grand Champion as we move to this.
- 26:00And so the real bridge Grand Champion, Brandon Jordan facing
- 26:06CJ Rollins. And I have a fair bit to talk on
- 26:12over this, checking my notes. So CJ Rowland has the champion
- 26:19in quotes on the back foot, hits him with a flying shoulder block
- 26:25and northern light suplex. Things then start to go the way
- 26:32of the champion as Jordan backdrops CJ over the top rope
- 26:38near to the corner. As the champion shall we say
- 26:44takes over on the challenger, a drop kick from CJ who is in the
- 26:51ropes as he tries to re enter again puts Brandon being in
- 26:57charge. Being very smart on this kind of
- 27:02stuff. Targets the left leg of his
- 27:07stronger foe. Uses chalk blocks to the back of
- 27:11his leg, the ropes, and just any real means possibly to gain a
- 27:20advantage by targeting the leg. He then puts a regal stretch on
- 27:26CJ. Rollins gets to the ropes.
- 27:31Jordan then wraps the leg of CJ around the ring post and puts
- 27:37the challenger in even deeper trouble.
- 27:41We then have the unorthodox move of a standing moonsault to the
- 27:46leg, which look more a case of it was him just going to get
- 27:55more injured than actually going on the leg, but then again
- 27:58that's logic as he then goes with a twisting suplex 2.
- 28:07CJ grabs a respite as he knocks Brandon off the top rope.
- 28:12Legs akimbo on either side of the turnbuckle.
- 28:18A Bret's rope fall away slam gets a 2.
- 28:24The two then trade chops where CJ fires up with a barrage of
- 28:29them, only for Jordan to go straight back to the leg.
- 28:34Clapper thinking a lariat and dropkit by CJ sees him going on
- 28:41to try and finish a combo off by hitting a moonsault that misses.
- 28:48Jordan then misses himself with a frog splash as he is hit with
- 28:54a spear. Brandon responds with a Canadian
- 28:59destroyer out of nowhere. Jordan then hits an RKO in mid
- 29:05air, goes to the title belt leading with the referee saying
- 29:11don't do this, don't do this, swings it at CJ and misses.
- 29:17However, Brandon pushes CJ towards the referee who cowers
- 29:25as Adam Evans just goes no, no, no, no, no, no and as Evans head
- 29:30is turned away the belt is smashed into CJ this time around
- 29:36and leads to the pinfall victory as Brandon Jordan picks up the
- 29:44the win over his opponent. After the contest we have
- 29:52Stewart Summers coming out making the announcement that on
- 29:57June 26 at Bash at the Bridge back at the Wollaston Village
- 30:03Hall we will have the first ever Grand Title Eliminator match for
- 30:11the Bridge Grand Title as we got the 1st 2 participants in that
- 30:19match. And due to what had just
- 30:22transpired, CJ Rowlings will get a second bite at the cherry as
- 30:29he and Brandon Jordan will take up two of those particular
- 30:36places in the match. Match #3 sees the admired 1 Joe
- 30:50Blazer taking on Noe Anuka. Fresh.
- 30:56I say fresh having made such an impact on the last show in that
- 31:04meaty match that I waxed the lyrical about last time where it
- 31:10was a genuine chop fest. So we had these two again.
- 31:18This this was a this was a fun match, but it was a slow burner.
- 31:25So both men entered the match as good guys.
- 31:31Joe being a quicker and I mean, sometimes he's how he goes about
- 31:40things can rub people the wrong way and a hookah definitely was
- 31:48one of those that wasn't too happy with him.
- 31:53Joe puts his hand out to do a fist bump.
- 31:56No he no wants no part of it shoves him and then the two kind
- 32:04of slap and just start to becomes more like an actual
- 32:12contest. Joe outsmarts him a couple of
- 32:16times even 1 where he dives over the top rope to that makes no
- 32:24sense. Yes, Joe outsmarts him, pulling
- 32:29down the top rope and then dives over it to keep the advantage.
- 32:36Sometimes I don't know what I'd write, which is no good for me.
- 32:43We then see a big boot from the Belgian that turns the tide.
- 32:47It feels in this match, spinning elbows from Brett's rope from
- 32:56the Belgian Blazer responds with a crossbody off the roads having
- 33:03faked it originally and then getting it eventually.
- 33:08An overhead suplex that Taz would have been proud of gets
- 33:14just a 2 count. A hit toss into a slam and then
- 33:19we see a fall away slam from Joe has his opponent in trouble.
- 33:27No way, then comes back with running knees into the back of
- 33:32Blazer in the corner, hits a spinning sit down powerbomb and
- 33:38looks for all the world that Joe is on the way to victory.
- 33:44However, a big suplex from Blazer and a release front face
- 33:50slam sees him picking up the victory on this occasion.
- 33:56And then after the contest, we have Summers coming back out
- 34:01again and announcing that. I know, I think it was Parrot,
- 34:05actually, it said it. He comes out and announces that.
- 34:09They forgot to mention that whoever won this match would go
- 34:14into that grand title eliminator.
- 34:18And so we now have three people involved with CJ Rollins,
- 34:25Brandon Jordan the champion, and Joe Blazer being the third
- 34:31entrant in that contest. Match #4 is a freeway dance
- 34:45between the Super Beast, Liam Jones, the brilliance James
- 34:51Ellis, and TJ Rex. This was one of those matches
- 34:59that I was looking forward to the most if truth be told.
- 35:07So Ellis comes out, takes a lot of a flag from the fans for
- 35:14looking sunburned and he did look sunburn as it saw both
- 35:21Jones and Rex taking turns to knock the brilliance down to the
- 35:27mat. Eventually we lead to TJ and
- 35:32Liam left in the ring and sees the Super Beast hitting a slam
- 35:38rolling into a dropkick for a near fall.
- 35:44TJ then hits OR then takes over on James Ellis before drop
- 35:50kicking his rivals who are both on the outside as he kind of
- 35:55does the you run, you hold on to the top rope, but you basically
- 36:02stick your feet out and you're knocking flying.
- 36:05TJ and Ellis form an alliance. It seems to take down the big
- 36:10man, but this is very quickly dissolved as Ellis turns on his
- 36:17opponent hitting a back angled slam Hits the Ellis elbow as I'm
- 36:24calling it. Could be the brilliance elbow
- 36:28because it's effectively like the People's elbow but ends with
- 36:34him doing his signature taunt and then just coming down with
- 36:38the fingers in the eyes. Jones will recover and catches
- 36:45the foot of Ellis and as he catches the foot he throws it
- 36:53into TJ taking them both out. I think this I haven't put how
- 37:03this match ends, which is my fault.
- 37:07Let me just take a very quick pop back in the room.
- 37:11So we then have TJ going to the top rope with Jones lay flat out
- 37:19in the middle of the ring. Ellis inadvertently fall
- 37:26backwards into the referee who knocks Rex off it and again
- 37:33takes an awkward fall if you're male legs either side of the
- 37:41turnbuckle. This then leads to Ellis and
- 37:46Jones fighting it out. A big lariat from Liam Jones
- 37:53gets the 123. After the match it sees Ellis
- 37:59taking it out, TJ Rex just throwing the punches as I'm
- 38:07looking at it again. So we then have Ellis raining
- 38:12punches down, grabs the ring bell, looks to use it on TJ.
- 38:19However, Jones kind of regains his recovers quickly, grabs the
- 38:27ring bell from Ellis, tosses it away and celebrates.
- 38:34Cheques on TJCC is OK, does oppose and as he steps down from
- 38:42the second rope TJS picked up the ring bell clocks Jones in
- 38:52the back of the head with it what was it at the back of the
- 38:56head? Cleans him cleans his clock so
- 39:01to speak and then stands there thinking have I done the right
- 39:05thing? The crowd Boo him and leads to
- 39:11just TJ raining punches down, mounting his opponent and Liam
- 39:19Jones just does not know where he is after what has just
- 39:24happened. Shocking the Stourbridge crowd
- 39:29and I think it is fair to say that Liam Jones will be looking
- 39:37for revenge on TJ Rex in the over the course of this summer.
- 39:45We then had to match #5 your penultimate match of Exiled as
- 39:58the bad girl Chantelle Jordan takes on man like Derice, the
- 40:05head of the non world order. And this came hot on the heels
- 40:13of WrestleMania weekend, where? If you have not heard the story
- 40:21of Derice finding himself on a flight from London to Las Vegas
- 40:33where he was sat with I think it was 3 or 4 nuns.
- 40:40And later in being kind of having him having a seat in
- 40:45mixed with him, which was a a mess up from whichever airline
- 40:49provider it was. They all get on over the course
- 40:54of the flight. Derice says to him, Oh yeah, I'm
- 40:58I'm a professional wrestler. I'm wrestling at this place
- 41:01tonight, which is game changer wrestling and the all the nuns
- 41:10eventually rocked up to this show and from the photos the
- 41:17most glamorous people in that venue with without kind of bad
- 41:22mouthing any fans that go to shows, but they are far more
- 41:26glamorous than anyone that is there completely shocks Therese
- 41:32that they have turned up had photos but he didn't know kind
- 41:39of like who they were wanted to meet up with them and the the
- 41:44good side of social media brought them all back together.
- 41:51And I'm sure if you're a wrestling fan you will have
- 41:54watched one of these interviews that involved everyone that was
- 42:00involved in this particular story.
- 42:04A good feel good story in a world that is an absolute
- 42:09cesspool. That said, we go into this
- 42:15contest where it is the O121 taking on the O2 four if we're
- 42:23going off phone codes, Birmingham versus Coventry.
- 42:30Derice takes an early blow to the head from Chantel, leading
- 42:36to Derice needing a Nan to help him recover much in the way that
- 42:42Popeye needed. Spinach asks if there's any nuns
- 42:47in the crowd to to help him. My good friend Lana says I'm a
- 42:55nan. So he then gets a hokum Lana and
- 43:01then goes around the crowd hugging a lot of other nuns.
- 43:06I think one of them ended up being Chantelle, or being
- 43:11Chantelle's I should say which. So Jordan not happy.
- 43:17Then she hugs this lady who I'm going to believe was Chantelle's
- 43:26nan. They then get back to ringside.
- 43:31Chantelle hits a dive to the outside, taking up the leader of
- 43:35the Nan. World Order follows it up with a
- 43:40drop kick from the top and a Mitch and OQ driver only gets a
- 43:462 count. We see some stiff martial art
- 43:51kicks from Chantelle to put her firmly in control in this
- 43:56contest. However on the third attempt it
- 44:01is caught by Derise who chops her.
- 44:04She gives 1 back and the 2 trade kicks and forearm shots.
- 44:11Derice then catches Chantal off the top rope and hits a pendulum
- 44:16slam. Jordan finds herself in the
- 44:20clutches of an ankle lock, but Derice quickly transfers from a
- 44:27ankle lock into a cross face. Very seamless transition.
- 44:32This one of my favourite moves in the match.
- 44:38Jordan then rolls back for a pinning attempt, gets 2.
- 44:44Chantelle then hits a kick to the head followed by a Samoan
- 44:49drop, but Derice comes right back with a big super kick.
- 44:57A really nasty but good looking super kick.
- 45:03Derice gets a bit cocky with a lazy cover on Jordan and after
- 45:09the 2 count for Derise she reverses it into a pinning
- 45:13attempt in a kind of like a a crucifix, getting the shoulders
- 45:19down and picking up the victory for the bad girl.
- 45:24As we have the two embrace in the middle of the ring and
- 45:28Derise telling everyone that she's a she's a good friend of
- 45:32his and everyone comes out smiling and ends with a really
- 45:40fun contest. Derice just puts on these fun
- 45:45matches. The man is I can't think of the
- 45:54perfect word. He gives off so much enthusiasm
- 45:59that if we could bottle it, everyone would want want a
- 46:05bottle. Oozes in, oozes enthusiasm,
- 46:11charisma. Dear God, why is this man not on
- 46:15like at a bigger company? It it's, it's kind of beggars
- 46:20belief really. He's an absolute superstar.
- 46:28But who knows, Hopefully in the the next few months things may
- 46:32change. But yeah, it is.
- 46:36It is mind boggling. He's one of the biggest stars in
- 46:40the world, but what can you do? And this nicely brings us to
- 46:53your main event of of Exiled as. Has Alex Dean's bridge career
- 47:10being put on the line for a title shot?
- 47:14So I was led to believe that if the Relentless All Stars won,
- 47:25they would keep their title shot.
- 47:28If the Relentless All Stars and Zach Walker won, then Alex Dean
- 47:35was gone from bridge. Obviously, as we know now as of
- 47:43recording, that was not the case.
- 47:47But we'll we'll get into the the finer points at the end.
- 47:53So as I mentioned, Alex Dean's bridge career, which saw him
- 48:00teaming up with the tag team champions, the Exile Pack in
- 48:05Alex Connors and Luke Douglas. They took on the team of the
- 48:11Relentless All Stars, Rhiannon Jade, Ruby Manitoba and Zach
- 48:17Walker. This this was one of the most
- 48:21chaotic matches I have seen for quite a while.
- 48:28All six were involved even before the bell got got rung as
- 48:34they fought all over the Wollaston Village Hall, the
- 48:38number one contenders for the tag team titles in Jade and
- 48:43Manitoba. They put the boot to Douglas on
- 48:48the outside, with Ruby hitting a stunner that sent Tuckless
- 48:54rolling under the ring. It then looked like Walker like
- 49:01Walker and the All Stars were going to finish off Alex Dean
- 49:07inside a couple of minutes. However, the Exile Pack had
- 49:11other ideas as they interjected themselves and now saw Walker
- 49:18being the person isolated as he took the brunt of the offence
- 49:25for his team. In this match, he went to do A
- 49:32tag to his team and saw Connors and Douglas yanking both Jade
- 49:39and Ruby off the apron to thwart him of making A tag.
- 49:46Eventually the tag did come in the form of Ruby Manitoba as she
- 49:52caught Connors in a flying head scissors and hit a really nice
- 49:58double team move with her partner as we had a code breaker
- 50:03into a German suplex on Connors. Douglas capitalises on
- 50:10indecision between the contenders for the tag titles as
- 50:16he hit a super kick. The Exile pack then hit their
- 50:21own double team of a knee to the back and a front face Buster.
- 50:28Rhiannon Jade soon rallies, hitting a clothesline.
- 50:33And so after some combos leading to Zack Walker as a kid, outside
- 50:45decides to start singing Christmas songs.
- 50:48Great, so we we have been relentless.
- 50:52All Stars being beaten up by the tag team champions Jade and
- 50:59Manitoba hold up Alex Dean, leading to Zach Walker coming
- 51:06down with a kind of splash manoeuvre that sees the 1-2 and
- 51:14the three meaning the end of Alex Dean at Bridge Pro.
- 51:22And we then had Walker giving Dean some farewell chops, some
- 51:29very stiff chops if truth be told.
- 51:33The Bridge Pro owner Ryan Parrott got in, fires Alex Dean,
- 51:40which had everyone delirious. He too gives a farewell chop to
- 51:47Alex not long before Stuart Summers gets in the ring.
- 51:55He chops him and can't help doing a bit of a dab afterwards.
- 52:01I think Stuart enjoyed that a lot.
- 52:04I I could be wrong, but I don't think I am.
- 52:09So it sees Dean leaving ringside to the tune of na na na na na na
- 52:16na na, hey, hey, hey, goodbye. And that is how the show ends.
- 52:23It it was a In hindsight, it was a good show.
- 52:30At times I felt it was a bit long.
- 52:35Then again, I think my reasoning for that was I was warm.
- 52:41It was a warm day and I been in work that morning so it felt
- 52:49probably a longer day for me than anyone else.
- 52:54Still a really good show. They always are Bridge.
- 52:58In fairness they they rarely put a bad show on, but the next
- 53:08shows that they are doing are both at the Wollaston Village
- 53:14Hall. As Friday June 26th sees bash at
- 53:20the bridge. I have my ticket.
- 53:24As far as I know that is a sell out.
- 53:28So you are not able to go to Bridge Pro for that particular
- 53:35show if you do not have a ticket.
- 53:39Well I quickly scroll through, I'm positive I saw a sign that
- 53:48said yes it is completely sold out.
- 53:55So unfortunately you can go. Unless they managed to get extra
- 54:01tickets, which I don't think they will do.
- 54:05Otherwise the next show after that is going to be the big one
- 54:13again. Still at the Wollaston Village
- 54:16Hall but outside. It is an outdoor show and have
- 54:23in recent times included that Tom Campbell will be doing the
- 54:30announcing on the show. Always good to see Tom on
- 54:36anything because he he certainly gets around that bloke.
- 54:42So that is on July the 5th on a Sunday so I will be going.
- 54:50I have a friend that I go to a fair few shows with in Dino.
- 54:58He is coming along for the ride, so we'll be fun on that occasion
- 55:06as they all are in in truth, but for now at least.
- 55:17Oh, links. So for me it is brothers,
- 55:23Grappas, pretty much everything and you'll see the description
- 55:28down below. Anyway, in the last hour of
- 55:35recording it has been posted by Bridge Pro Management that due
- 55:45to the relentless All Stars picking up that win, it sees
- 55:50them keeping their title shot. Also, because Zach Walker was
- 55:57part of that team, he is now guaranteed A championship match
- 56:08at any time or place. So that is definitely going to
- 56:17make an interesting little side note to every show.
- 56:22Now to whether that means he can cash in with it or he has to
- 56:33give a bit of time to when he's putting it forward.
- 56:38I suppose we'll have to see over the next couple of shows in what
- 56:44has been described by Bridge Pro as the Summer of Bridge.
- 56:51I will be at both of these shows that are coming up and you know
- 56:57what? I can't bloody wait.
- 57:01We do know some of the matches on the upcoming show, so I may
- 57:12have to scroll for some of these, so you'll have to bear
- 57:14with me. So as we have it right now, we
- 57:19will see the bad girl in Chantelle Jordan.
- 57:24She takes on the, I'd say right now, the hottest female in the
- 57:32UK right now in Alexis Falcon. She makes her return to Bridge
- 57:39Pro. We also have the relentless All
- 57:44Stars in Rhiannon Jade and Ruby Manitoba.
- 57:50They take on the tag team that is everywhere.
- 57:55It feels Manchester's finest in Lally as Holly Barlow and Lorna
- 58:04Austin make the return to bridge Pro.
- 58:11And also, we have that Grand Championship eliminator match
- 58:19between Brandon Jordan, Liam Jones, Joe Blazer and CJ
- 58:26Rollins. And I thought I had seen a match
- 58:31that had not been announced. Oh, that had been announced but
- 58:36just wasn't actually put anywhere.
- 58:39Yeah, that must have it must have been a different thing.
- 58:44We do have a couple for we got Heat 2, but I'm going to save
- 58:52that for after the next show. So you've, you've something to
- 58:57look forward to, boys and girls and everyone in between.
- 59:03That concludes this podcast. Thank you so much for listening.
- 59:11If you're watching, God bless you.
- 59:14But why would you do such a thing?
- 59:17That is all I really have to say.
- 59:23Upcoming shows for me is going to be future shop Danger Zone,
- 59:30so I will see you in Stockport on Sunday.
- 59:35Otherwise, I will see you lovely folks at Gorilla on Monday night
- 59:41for Catch Pro Wrestling's Gimme Danger and absolutely Stack Card
- 59:48There is definitely lucky to be my favourite show at at the
- 59:57moment of the summer. But then regional bias.
- 1:00:05I am an union for my sins and that cat show does look so, so
- 1:00:10good. Again, we will come to that
- 1:00:16hopefully sometime next week because I will be recording two
- 1:00:21shows, maybe three, who knows. What else have I got coming?
- 1:00:32No, I think that's it currently, thankfully, because I I need to
- 1:00:39always be wrestling based, but you know it does help.
- 1:00:44But for now at least, thank you very much for taking the the
- 1:00:50time to listen to these shows and watch.
- 1:00:53I've been Petter Brothers, and we will see you on the next
- 1:00:59episode.
