- 0:00Speaker 1: John Jay Richard forgot to get into You know, Richie's
- 0:02Speaker 1: back from New York City, back from his daughter's graduation.
- 0:04Speaker 1: How was that whole experience?
- 0:06Speaker 2: Well, you know, I love me some New York City,
- 0:08Speaker 2: I really really do. I don't know that I could
- 0:10Speaker 2: live there. The hustle and bustle. It's like it's just
- 0:13Speaker 2: too much like chaotic energy in one place at one time.
- 0:19Speaker 2: You gotta get away from that. But I think I
- 0:22Speaker 2: got to say it for ft. They know how to
- 0:24Speaker 2: do graduation. It's the best graduation I've ever been to. Now.
- 0:27Speaker 2: I was really worried because, Okay, so my daughter completed
- 0:31Speaker 2: her two year but as it turns out, she's going
- 0:34Speaker 2: back to get her master's in marketing and all that.
- 0:37Speaker 2: So it's kind of like a graduation I really didn't
- 0:39Speaker 2: have to go to, and she didn't really have to
- 0:41Speaker 2: go to because she's just going to go back and
- 0:43Speaker 2: graduate again at some point anyway. But what they do
- 0:45Speaker 2: is they have the whole school. There's I think two
- 0:48Speaker 2: thousand graduating students, and they do it in the middle
- 0:51Speaker 2: of Central Park. And the thing about it is is
- 0:54Speaker 2: that that's two thousand people's names that you have to
- 0:56Speaker 2: hear and it's in Central Park on this big stage.
- 1:00Speaker 2: But it was also ninety six degrees there in one
- 1:04Speaker 2: hundred percent humidity. So Sir rah bull I even went
- 1:09Speaker 2: to uh the TJ Max there in town and bought
- 1:12Speaker 2: the lightest shirt that I could find. I literally bought
- 1:14Speaker 2: a light yoga shirt thinking I could wear that. The
- 1:17Speaker 2: second I stepped outside, my back was all sweaty. I
- 1:19Speaker 2: was a hot mess. So my pants were like liquefied.
- 1:23Speaker 2: It was so hot out there. But I will say
- 1:26Speaker 2: that they ended up getting the whole thing done in
- 1:28Speaker 2: an hour and fifteen minutes. That's impressed. And I mean
- 1:32Speaker 2: they had it's set up where people you walk in line,
- 1:35Speaker 2: you sit down and are like graduation is going to
- 1:37Speaker 2: start in a few minutes. If you don't have water,
- 1:40Speaker 2: or along the backside, we've got gallons of it.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Auctioneer the names.
- 1:46Speaker 2: They had two people, and you know it was really cool.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Is nobody, including the commencement, everybody spoke and they only
- 1:53Speaker 2: had two minutes to speak. So your commencement speech was
- 1:57Speaker 2: show up early, tell them your running experience, but your unexperienced,
- 2:00Speaker 2: but that's only temporary. And that was the whole speech. Wow,
- 2:04Speaker 2: And then what I thought was really cool is they
- 2:06Speaker 2: had a DJ playing different songs while they were announcing names,
- 2:11Speaker 2: and so you have a man and a woman announcing names.
- 2:14Speaker 2: So here's what would happen. It was so inspiring. You
- 2:17Speaker 2: get like, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the fi T
- 2:20Speaker 2: graduating class of twenty twenty six. Here are you are graduates?
- 2:25Speaker 2: Paudrey ver uh and so they're all They got New
- 2:32Speaker 2: York songs playing, they got jay Z and then Audrey
- 2:35Speaker 2: was really excited because her graduation song Umbrella by Rihanna.
- 2:39Speaker 1: With that is so cool. You know when you say FIT,
- 2:44Speaker 1: you're talking about Fashion Institution, Institute of Technology. Okay, because
- 2:48Speaker 1: you know you post I go. I don't know if
- 2:50Speaker 1: you guys saw all these messages we got. You posted
- 2:52Speaker 1: a picture of you and Audrey on your Instagram and
- 2:54Speaker 1: you hashtag FT and the comments were, oh my god.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Does Rich know what happens when you click on FI
- 3:00Speaker 1: It doesn't The hashtag doesn't take you to Fashion Institute.
- 3:03Speaker 1: It's just all these attractive fitness models, all fitness models, and.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Beginning I was in Central Park, it was ninety I
- 3:12Speaker 2: could my fingers were slipping, they were so sweaty. I
- 3:14Speaker 2: wasn't really checking anything.
- 3:15Speaker 1: But anyway, I gotta tell you there's a parallel here
- 3:18Speaker 1: with me and you. So my son's graduation was in Hawaii, right,
- 3:22Speaker 1: and yours was in New York. You needed to buy
- 3:25Speaker 1: a shirt. I had to buy a pair of pants
- 3:28Speaker 1: when I was there. So my son, it's Hawaii before
- 3:30Speaker 1: I go to Hawaii, like, hey, so it's Hawaii. Every
- 3:32Speaker 1: time I red anything Hawaii there was any kind of function,
- 3:34Speaker 1: it was shorts in a Hawaiian shirt. And I was like, hey,
- 3:37Speaker 1: so he won some award, and I go, I just
- 3:40Speaker 1: wear short because yeah, you wear shorts the day I
- 3:41Speaker 1: get when it's there, he goes, Oh, by the way,
- 3:43Speaker 1: I found out that the ward show Dad is business casual.
- 3:45Speaker 1: I'm like, this is casual. I know what that means
- 3:48Speaker 1: that it gets you can't wear shorts. So in Hawaii,
- 3:52Speaker 1: in Waikiki Beach, we were staying, they don't sell pants there.
- 3:55Speaker 2: The pants. There's no pants pants in Hawaii.
- 3:57Speaker 1: No one's wearing pants. I went into so many stores
- 4:00Speaker 1: looking for pants on the beach there. Finally one lady
- 4:03Speaker 1: says to me, we have a pair of pants in
- 4:06Speaker 1: the back. They go, what size are you? Like, I'm
- 4:08Speaker 1: a thirty six waist. They go, I think that's the
- 4:10Speaker 1: size we have. They go back, they bring out a
- 4:12Speaker 1: pair of pants. They're green and their size thirty six beautiful.
- 4:15Speaker 1: I try them on, I buy them. My wife says
- 4:18Speaker 1: to me, these are the only pair of pants. Why,
- 4:21Speaker 1: she goes, I like those pants on. You should. I
- 4:23Speaker 1: like the way your butt looks. No one's ever said
- 4:25Speaker 1: that to me my entire life. So I then go
- 4:28Speaker 1: online and I bought these are the are these are
- 4:31Speaker 1: pair of pants here? I bought every pair of pants
- 4:33Speaker 1: like that nice, every pair of it. So now I'm
- 4:35Speaker 1: wearing and there are some because of graduation. So now
- 4:37Speaker 1: I have like a whole new pant wardrobe because my
- 4:39Speaker 1: wife said, my butt look nice in these green pants.
- 4:41Speaker 1: I have not worn the green pants in here yet.
- 4:42Speaker 1: If I warm every day I was in Hawaii, every
- 4:44Speaker 1: event I went out with to three other events wearing
- 4:46Speaker 1: those same green pants.
- 4:47Speaker 2: I don't know that I'm ever gonna get these sweat
- 4:49Speaker 2: smell out of the clothes.
- 4:49Speaker 1: So you won't wear your nose, won't you. You didn't
- 4:51Speaker 1: like this shirt, you didn't go to TJ.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Maxiwiz that shirt? It seemed like it was light and awesome,
- 4:55Speaker 2: but now that I've worn it, it's like sweaty and terrible.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Well. The pictures of Audrey's graduation up on Instagram at
