- 0:17Speaker 2: with Teddy Mellencamp.
- 0:22Speaker 3: And today we're having Candice Dillard, one of my favorite housewives.
- 0:27Speaker 4: I miss her.
- 0:28Speaker 3: I do too, and I want to see her baby's face.
- 0:31Speaker 3: I don't want to see a bear in front.
- 0:33Speaker 4: Of his face.
- 0:34Speaker 5: She posts him.
- 0:35Speaker 3: She puts a little bear on his face. I want
- 0:36Speaker 3: to see his cute little face.
- 0:38Speaker 2: But she's coming on to give us all the details.
- 0:41Speaker 2: What's going on? Mom life, Her life. She also has
- 0:44Speaker 2: a new podcast called Undomesticated Podcast. It is a weekly
- 0:49Speaker 2: audio and video podcast hosted by herself and best selling
- 0:52Speaker 2: author and culture critic Michael Well.
- 0:55Speaker 4: Congrats to them.
- 0:58Speaker 3: Can you believe her baby Jet is a year old already?
- 1:02Speaker 4: How is that even possible?
- 1:03Speaker 3: I know, Cray, so you've been eve Ben out of
- 1:05Speaker 3: service for nine months.
- 1:07Speaker 4: Yeah, you could have had a baby.
- 1:08Speaker 2: I could have had a baby in that time, Tam,
- 1:11Speaker 2: I have news.
- 1:13Speaker 4: No, stop, my gosh.
- 1:15Speaker 5: There she is. Hello, where's that baby?
- 1:20Speaker 4: I want to see the baby?
- 1:22Speaker 1: He is in there with his grandmother. Okay, I need
- 1:27Speaker 1: I need a minute. He was almost going to be
- 1:29Speaker 1: on on the show with us. So, but my mom
- 1:33Speaker 1: is visiting. My mom is visiting. She was visiting last
- 1:37Speaker 1: week for his birthday. She was going to leave yesterday
- 1:40Speaker 1: and was like, why am I going to leave? He's
- 1:42Speaker 1: coming back on Thursday because I'm doing a stage play
- 1:45Speaker 1: in DC and she's coming back that. She was like,
- 1:49Speaker 1: why I should just stay? And I was like, yes,
- 1:50Speaker 1: you should, because that isn't that nice? It's perfect because I.
- 1:53Speaker 5: Have where does she live? Does she live far?
- 1:56Speaker 6: She lives in Georgia.
- 1:57Speaker 4: Oh so she's like an.
- 1:59Speaker 6: Hour and a hour plane ride, but she stay.
- 2:03Speaker 1: So it's really helpful because she can like keep him
- 2:06Speaker 1: while I'm doing this.
- 2:07Speaker 6: With you, courteous.
- 2:08Speaker 3: I can't believe that he is one.
- 2:14Speaker 6: Moment of silence.
- 2:15Speaker 4: How is that possible?
- 2:17Speaker 6: How is it possible? I don't like it? Flew by.
- 2:22Speaker 3: I still we still haven't seen him. We haven't seen
- 2:25Speaker 3: his face.
- 2:26Speaker 4: We see the back of his head, we see.
- 2:28Speaker 5: A little bear on his face.
- 2:31Speaker 4: Yes, when are we not going to see the bear?
- 2:35Speaker 1: I figure you guys, if I see you guys in
- 2:38Speaker 1: the streets, you guys can see yeah in the streets,
- 2:42Speaker 1: general public, Ye, in the streets in the streets.
- 2:44Speaker 6: Yeah, yes, come come, you're you. You are invited, thank you.
- 2:50Speaker 6: All are invited.
- 2:51Speaker 1: But the general public and all of their weirdness, No.
- 2:54Speaker 6: They just they call off.
- 2:59Speaker 5: How how's he doing?
- 3:00Speaker 3: Is he walking yet?
- 3:02Speaker 6: He's about to walk?
- 3:03Speaker 1: He literally like, like I told him, I'm not ready.
- 3:08Speaker 1: He can take his time because honestly, we just put
- 3:11Speaker 1: the baby gates up. He will walk if I hold
- 3:14Speaker 1: him with one hand. He walks like like he's.
- 3:17Speaker 4: Going to work like a grown man. Baby.
- 3:21Speaker 6: Yeah, like a boss baby. No, he's he pulls up
- 3:24Speaker 6: on everything.
- 3:24Speaker 1: He'll hold onto stuff and he walks really fast. If
- 3:27Speaker 1: he's holding onto something, he's like conquering the world. But
- 3:31Speaker 1: it's it's coming because and then he'll stand by himself
- 3:34Speaker 1: for like a minute. And then if I'm like, oh, Jetty,
- 3:37Speaker 1: are you going to walk? And he'll be like no,
- 3:39Speaker 1: it'll sit down.
- 3:40Speaker 3: So he'll be running and you.
- 3:42Speaker 4: Call him Jetty. That's so cute.
- 3:44Speaker 1: He has so many nicknames, Jetty, Jetty, Spaghetti, jet Ski,
- 3:50Speaker 1: sugar Booker, baby bear.
- 3:51Speaker 6: Bean, sugar, sugar burger, sugar booger.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Baby bear bean, not booger, sugar okay, sugar boger, Yes, yes,
- 4:05Speaker 1: sugar booger, not bigger sugar.
- 4:06Speaker 4: How was your first year of motherhood? Look? How did
- 4:09Speaker 4: it go?
- 4:11Speaker 1: I would say it was amazing. I would give it
- 4:13Speaker 1: a nine out of ten. It was amazing. It was amazing.
- 4:16Speaker 1: The the only thing that I would change, maybe not change,
- 4:20Speaker 1: but that was really challenging, was really right after he
- 4:24Speaker 1: was born, like a week after he was born, I
- 4:27Speaker 1: started having excruciating pain in my left on my left side,
- 4:32Speaker 1: and I was running like a really high fever, and
- 4:34Speaker 1: I was in so much pain. I couldn't even like,
- 4:37Speaker 1: I couldn't hold him. I couldn't do anything. I was
- 4:39Speaker 1: just like laying there in pain. And if I wasn't
- 4:41Speaker 1: on prescription tilanol and IV profen or what's the what
- 4:48Speaker 1: is the other drug that's really strong, not percoset, one
- 4:53Speaker 1: of those like oxy?
- 4:55Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah it was oxy.
- 4:58Speaker 1: It was if it was either have to be on
- 5:00Speaker 1: oxy or the tail and all I've beprofen mixed to
- 5:05Speaker 1: even function.
- 5:07Speaker 6: And my dad is a physician.
- 5:10Speaker 1: He was in Ecuador, but somehow was like calling to
- 5:13Speaker 1: check in and I was like, yeah, I'm really like
- 5:15Speaker 1: feeling horrible, and he was like, you need to go
- 5:17Speaker 1: to the er. And my dad is like an anti
- 5:21Speaker 1: medicine physician. He doesn't believe in like taking a bunch
- 5:24Speaker 1: of pills. He thinks he likes to diagnose things, not
- 5:27Speaker 1: run millions of tests. And first for him to be like,
- 5:30Speaker 1: you need to go to the hospital, I was like,
- 5:32Speaker 1: oh my god, what?
- 5:33Speaker 6: So I went. They did a scan and I had
- 5:36Speaker 6: a blood clot in my left ovary.
- 5:39Speaker 1: And so now I'm like, oh my god, I just
- 5:43Speaker 1: wanted a baby, and now am I gonna die? Like
- 5:45Speaker 1: what's happening? And so I had to be on blood dinners.
- 5:49Speaker 1: I was on the subcutaneous shots Leno lenovo one blocks,
- 5:54Speaker 1: lenovo something for like ten weeks, not even you to
- 6:00Speaker 1: take shot because I was breastfeeding. The pills get into
- 6:04Speaker 1: your bloodstream, which gets into your milk, whereas the subcutaneous
- 6:07Speaker 1: shots go straight in and don't get into your milk.
- 6:12Speaker 6: That's that's what I just told you. But yeah, it was.
- 6:15Speaker 6: It was horrible. It was awful. It was the worst.
- 6:19Speaker 1: I like to be thinking that I just had this baby,
- 6:22Speaker 1: and now could I die and my child won't even
- 6:25Speaker 1: know that I love him? Like that was where my
- 6:27Speaker 1: mind was for weeks. So yeah, that takes one point away.
- 6:33Speaker 1: If that didn't happen, it'd be a tense.
- 6:36Speaker 3: You're saying you're ready, You're ready for another one.
- 6:39Speaker 6: Not yet, but soon. Yeah, I wanted.
- 6:43Speaker 1: I want us to try for a girl and then
- 6:46Speaker 1: I'll be done. I think two is good in this economy,
- 6:48Speaker 1: more than two. How are we eating dinner?
- 6:51Speaker 6: Like, what are we doing? Yes?
- 6:53Speaker 4: Exactly, so two is good.
- 6:55Speaker 6: We'll stop there.
- 6:57Speaker 1: But I really to be someone that was like terrified
- 7:00Speaker 1: of motherhood, who over analyzed it like ad nauseum, who
- 7:06Speaker 1: just like questioned my ability to mother. To go from
- 7:10Speaker 1: that to feeling like I wish I had six of these.
- 7:14Speaker 1: It's crazy, And if I had started sooner, I might
- 7:18Speaker 1: have had like four or six. But I'll be content
- 7:22Speaker 1: with back, like you know, like how our grandparents and
- 7:26Speaker 1: used to do. Like my my grandmother, God rest your soul,
- 7:30Speaker 1: had thirteen kids. My dad's the youngest of thirteen. My
- 7:34Speaker 1: grandmother is one of twelve. My mom's mom is one
- 7:37Speaker 1: of twelve. Maybe that's a Southern thing. It's in the South.
- 7:41Speaker 1: There's nothing to do but have kids.
- 7:43Speaker 5: Well you got a lot to do.
- 7:45Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 7:45Speaker 4: I was gonna say, are they lds.
- 7:48Speaker 6: No, We're they're Southern Baptists.
- 7:50Speaker 3: Close so you're like juggling motherhood. Now you have a
- 7:55Speaker 3: new podcast.
- 7:57Speaker 6: Yes, I'm joining the ranks. How did we get here?
- 8:01Speaker 3: What made you decide to do that?
- 8:03Speaker 4: Tell us about Undomesticated.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I was running from the podcast space for a
- 8:08Speaker 1: long time, just because I felt like, oh, well, you know,
- 8:13Speaker 1: everybody has a podcast. What am I going to say
- 8:16Speaker 1: that's different? What am I going to do that's different?
- 8:18Speaker 1: How am I going to set myself apart? Does anybody
- 8:20Speaker 1: even care to hear what I have to say about anything?
- 8:24Speaker 3: And normal?
- 8:26Speaker 5: Normal?
- 8:27Speaker 6: Yes? Yes.
- 8:29Speaker 1: But a friend of mine, she's actually a classmate of mine,
- 8:32Speaker 1: approached me two years ago about starting a podcast, and
- 8:36Speaker 1: so Undomesticated is really two years in the making.
- 8:41Speaker 6: I knew I wanted to have a.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Co host that was smart, that was like me but
- 8:47Speaker 1: also different and could offer like an opposite sort of opinion.
- 8:52Speaker 1: So I'd known Michael Arsenal for years. We went to
- 8:56Speaker 1: Howard together. I read his first book.
- 8:59Speaker 6: I didn't know at how we went.
- 9:01Speaker 1: We were there close to the same time I read
- 9:03Speaker 1: his first book, I Can't Date Jesus.
- 9:05Speaker 6: He's New York Times bestselling author, a cultural critic. Who
- 9:10Speaker 6: is he?
- 9:11Speaker 1: He's he can scare off some people with his opinions
- 9:13Speaker 1: in a good way. I read his first book and
- 9:17Speaker 1: I was just so moved by the way that he wrote.
- 9:21Speaker 6: The way that he spoke.
- 9:22Speaker 1: I felt just connected to him just from his writing,
- 9:24Speaker 1: and I reached out to him like, I think you're
- 9:27Speaker 1: great and we became friends that way, and it just
- 9:32Speaker 1: it was just a natural marriage for us to to
- 9:35Speaker 1: sort of jump onto this this wagon together. And then Odyssey,
- 9:41Speaker 1: our amazing network, came into the picture. They've been incredibly supportive,
- 9:46Speaker 1: and now we are talking about all the things this is.
- 9:49Speaker 1: We are the group chat that you wish you were in.
- 9:52Speaker 1: We are having the conversation about relationships, politics, money, marriage,
- 9:59Speaker 1: mother hood, being gay, being black, being a mess, and
- 10:06Speaker 1: we're doing it in our our own natural, magical flair.
- 10:11Speaker 3: Are you recording in a studio or are you doing
- 10:13Speaker 3: it remotely?
- 10:14Speaker 6: We're doing it remotely.
- 10:15Speaker 1: We did do a couple of episodes in studio because
- 10:19Speaker 1: we Michael and I live on opposite posts. He's with
- 10:22Speaker 1: you guys on the west coast and I'm obviously in
- 10:24Speaker 1: Maryland on the east coast, So we're doing mostly virtual episodes,
- 10:29Speaker 1: but we will be doing some in person as.
- 10:34Speaker 4: H yeah, Hi, you're you guys gonna have guests?
- 10:37Speaker 6: We will have guests.
- 10:39Speaker 5: Yes, should we do a pod swap?
- 10:41Speaker 6: Can we do a podspopy?
- 10:45Speaker 1: I would love that. Yes, yes, definitely, definitely. That's why
- 10:49Speaker 1: people call your people.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Okay, yes, we have to get into a little bit
- 11:04Speaker 2: about Traders.
- 11:06Speaker 3: Yes, Oh my goodness, how was your experience?
- 11:10Speaker 6: It was amazing, so I said.
- 11:14Speaker 1: I did page six the Virtual Reality Awards show in
- 11:19Speaker 1: New York, and I was on the carpet and they
- 11:21Speaker 1: asked me about Traders, and I said, it was.
- 11:23Speaker 6: The best experience of my life.
- 11:26Speaker 1: And I forget her name, but it was one of
- 11:29Speaker 1: the reporters was doing a podcast interview and she was
- 11:34Speaker 1: like the best experience of her life, but she just
- 11:37Speaker 1: had a baby, but whatever, and I.
- 11:39Speaker 6: Was like.
- 11:41Speaker 1: To go there, but there she apologized, as she should
- 11:44Speaker 1: probably getting ate up because shut up. Yeah, like so
- 11:48Speaker 1: I yes, like obviously clearly, Okay, So you child is separate.
- 11:56Speaker 3: You had a good time.
- 11:58Speaker 6: I had the best.
- 12:00Speaker 1: It was the most amazing experience aside from having a
- 12:04Speaker 1: child pushing a fat out of my chi.
- 12:06Speaker 2: And you don't have to clarify that to us because
- 12:08Speaker 2: we get regular functioning humans.
- 12:11Speaker 4: I understand.
- 12:12Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, was it hard being away.
- 12:16Speaker 1: It wasn't at first, and then I woke up one
- 12:20Speaker 1: day and I was just it hit me, like, oh
- 12:22Speaker 1: my god, my baby, my baby, and he was he
- 12:26Speaker 1: was eight months when I left, and so the good
- 12:31Speaker 1: thing was I was able to talk to him. So
- 12:33Speaker 1: they take your phone, they take your money, they take
- 12:36Speaker 1: everything you have everything, you have nothing, but you know
- 12:40Speaker 1: you're where you sleep and that's it.
- 12:45Speaker 6: But they I was able.
- 12:47Speaker 1: To call home and talk to him every night. So
- 12:49Speaker 1: that was very cool.
- 12:50Speaker 4: That was nice that.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Yeah, all of the parents with young children were able
- 12:57Speaker 1: to call home and talk to.
- 12:59Speaker 3: Yeah, it was I think they're learning as time goes on,
- 13:01Speaker 3: Like it's stressful to be separated and not have a
- 13:05Speaker 3: phone when you have a business in a family, and yes,
- 13:08Speaker 3: all that, it's very very odd stress and the show
- 13:11Speaker 3: is already stressful.
- 13:12Speaker 6: Oh my god. I didn't camp.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Okay, I didn't realize because I kind of scoffed it,
- 13:17Speaker 1: like why are we doing all this?
- 13:18Speaker 6: Like psyche, now, why are we doing? And I get
- 13:22Speaker 6: it now.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Even when when I got home, my mind for weeks
- 13:29Speaker 1: was still like thinking about murder.
- 13:32Speaker 7: And like it's hard to gett out of it.
- 13:35Speaker 3: It's like they PLoP because they strip you of everything,
- 13:37Speaker 3: and it's like they PLoP you into a video game almost,
- 13:41Speaker 3: and you just kind of function, and then when you
- 13:43Speaker 3: get out of it, you're like they say a lot
- 13:46Speaker 3: of people have a hard time after they get out,
- 13:49Speaker 3: and that's why they have the show. Psychologists call you
- 13:52Speaker 3: even when you get home. I was playing that damn
- 13:55Speaker 3: hanging Tree song. Did they play that for you guys
- 13:58Speaker 3: at the round table.
- 14:00Speaker 6: Before every roundtable?
- 14:02Speaker 3: Yes?
- 14:02Speaker 1: And I was I was like, why are we what's psychological?
- 14:06Speaker 3: They don't show they don't show it on the.
- 14:08Speaker 6: Show for obviously, yeah.
- 14:11Speaker 3: For licensing reasons, I'm sure, but like they play that
- 14:14Speaker 3: song for us and it's everybody's dead silent.
- 14:16Speaker 4: Yeah, just like so creepy.
- 14:19Speaker 1: In the beginning when we you know, you first get there,
- 14:22Speaker 1: you're like figuring out, like what is it?
- 14:24Speaker 6: What are we doing?
- 14:25Speaker 1: So we were kind of like snickering at first, but
- 14:28Speaker 1: like once you get into the game and you start
- 14:30Speaker 1: like figuring out like that features like you start getting
- 14:33Speaker 1: into it. We would go to the round table and
- 14:36Speaker 1: be like okay, like you're like you're scowling and you're
- 14:39Speaker 1: splitting and you're looking around and the song really like
- 14:43Speaker 1: exacerbates it.
- 14:44Speaker 6: Yes, oh your paranoia is already like swirling in your head.
- 14:49Speaker 6: So yes, it's they. They have a well oiled machine.
- 14:53Speaker 1: I do like I bow down to like the early
- 14:58Speaker 1: people that did the show.
- 15:00Speaker 6: You all walked so we could run.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Like so many things, like even behind the scenes have improved. Yeah,
- 15:05Speaker 1: because you guys were like this work, this didn't work.
- 15:09Speaker 1: So we definitely benefited from from you all suffering. So
- 15:13Speaker 1: thank you for.
- 15:14Speaker 3: Out of the cast Season four cast, who did you
- 15:17Speaker 3: get closest to?
- 15:20Speaker 1: I honestly loved just about everybody, Like and I say
- 15:25Speaker 1: this and people are like, no, that's not no, you're
- 15:28Speaker 1: you're kidding, But no, I loved our entire cast until
- 15:33Speaker 1: I did it. There were a couple that like, you know,
- 15:35Speaker 1: I did you.
- 15:38Speaker 3: Know of Like like I walked in and there's like,
- 15:40Speaker 3: I don't know gamers.
- 15:42Speaker 4: I'm not.
- 15:42Speaker 1: I didn't know any Yeah, I didn't know the Survivor people.
- 15:45Speaker 1: I didn't know I don't watch Big Brother. I didn't
- 15:47Speaker 1: know the Big Brother people.
- 15:50Speaker 6: I knew the housewives, Yeah, and I exactly I think
- 15:54Speaker 6: I knew them. That was really it did.
- 15:57Speaker 1: And I didn't know my so my absolute favorite person
- 16:00Speaker 1: and probably like I, I have like a top three,
- 16:03Speaker 1: this person is in the top three.
- 16:05Speaker 6: Kristin Kish from Top Chef. I didn't know her beforehand.
- 16:09Speaker 1: She's amazing, She's she's just like an amazing human just
- 16:14Speaker 1: and you know, there's a lot of time to talk.
- 16:16Speaker 1: There's like downtime and you can't talk about the game,
- 16:19Speaker 1: so you're talking to each other about life.
- 16:23Speaker 6: Yeah, you can talk.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Offlat about that because that was crazy, and so you
- 16:27Speaker 1: you you get to know people because you can't talk
- 16:30Speaker 1: about anything else.
- 16:31Speaker 6: And Kristin is just like such an.
- 16:33Speaker 1: Interesting person and she's so just she's funny and she's
- 16:38Speaker 1: fun and just really I really enjoyed her.
- 16:44Speaker 6: I loved Maura from Love Island. She's a hoot. I
- 16:48Speaker 6: think we're sad sisters.
- 16:49Speaker 1: So I rebonded over that Mark Ballast from Dancing with
- 16:53Speaker 1: the Stars.
- 16:54Speaker 6: I'm obsessed with him. I love him. Yeah, oh my god,
- 16:59Speaker 6: that luscious lot.
- 17:02Speaker 3: That hair.
- 17:03Speaker 1: The last couple of weeks he's had it like in
- 17:05Speaker 1: a man bun. But I mean, what's wrong with oh
- 17:10Speaker 1: do we not like that word? What's wrong with man bun?
- 17:12Speaker 3: I know she gets I get the ick when I
- 17:15Speaker 3: see a guy with a man bun. Why do you
- 17:18Speaker 3: like a man bun?
- 17:19Speaker 6: I love a.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Man but yes, yes, I think there's a man bun
- 17:25Speaker 1: is on the right man.
- 17:26Speaker 4: I was going to say, it has to depends on
- 17:28Speaker 4: it depends on the man.
- 17:29Speaker 6: It has to be the rightness. Yeah, it has to
- 17:31Speaker 6: be the right person.
- 17:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:32Speaker 6: Like I want Jet to have a man bun. We're
- 17:34Speaker 6: gonna row his hair out, and I want him to
- 17:36Speaker 6: like kids.
- 17:38Speaker 4: It's so cute. Kids, It's so cute.
- 17:41Speaker 3: I love little boys with long hair.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, but you dropped some hints that you plan
- 17:45Speaker 2: to pop someone at the reunion without naming names.
- 17:49Speaker 4: What can you tease about this?
- 17:54Speaker 1: I can tell you that I hope. I can't say
- 17:57Speaker 1: for sure that I think you will because I haven't
- 18:00Speaker 1: be me edit. I hope you will understand. I think
- 18:04Speaker 1: it will become clear why this person deserves to get
- 18:11Speaker 1: cussed into an oblivion and it is it is, it
- 18:15Speaker 1: is coming, and.
- 18:16Speaker 6: You know, you know what. I could watch the show
- 18:19Speaker 6: and maybe.
- 18:20Speaker 1: I'll feel differently, but from my purview after leaving the castle,
- 18:26Speaker 1: I I just I have.
- 18:29Speaker 6: I have a bag of explicatives for this person.
- 18:34Speaker 3: Okay, you might change your mind after you watch, because
- 18:39Speaker 3: I had that feeling about Dan because I thought Dan
- 18:41Speaker 3: murdered me ah and it was actually Phaedra.
- 18:45Speaker 6: Yeah right, yes, right.
- 18:47Speaker 1: So I I could and I'm open to that I
- 18:50Speaker 1: could change my mind, but I don't think that I will.
- 18:53Speaker 1: I think I'm pretty clear because you know, when you leave,
- 18:57Speaker 1: you have all these thoughts swirling and you want to
- 19:00Speaker 1: talk to the cast, which you can't talk yet, so
- 19:03Speaker 1: you're just trying to trying to like debrief.
- 19:05Speaker 6: Solo, and it's hard and like your mind isn't.
- 19:10Speaker 1: So you know, I've had a lot of time to
- 19:12Speaker 1: sit with it, and I've been able to talk to
- 19:14Speaker 1: some of the casts at this point, so it's like
- 19:16Speaker 1: you're kind of putting pieces together and figuring things out.
- 19:20Speaker 3: So so you you guys air Season four of Traders
- 19:24Speaker 3: airs in January, right, I believe.
- 19:26Speaker 5: So there's no is there a set date yet?
- 19:29Speaker 6: No, they haven't given us a date.
- 19:30Speaker 1: They've just said top of the year, so I'm assuming January.
- 19:34Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 19:34Speaker 4: Yeah, so now we got to get into housewives.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Oh dear, oh, I wore my shirt, my favorite shirt,
- 19:42Speaker 1: my shirt.
- 19:45Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that so you stepped away, as we all know,
- 19:54Speaker 2: are you glad you made this decision?
- 19:57Speaker 1: I am. I They're so many things that are happening
- 20:03Speaker 1: currently and that are coming that I'm not talking about
- 20:06Speaker 1: yet that I don't think I would have been able
- 20:09Speaker 1: to just cook up and like pour into if I
- 20:14Speaker 1: was still.
- 20:15Speaker 6: On the show. And I really, really I would never.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Take back this year with my son, just the peace
- 20:25Speaker 1: and the quiet and just being able to enjoy motherhood privately,
- 20:33Speaker 1: right And you know, and it's not to say that
- 20:36Speaker 1: I love sharing my life on the show, and I
- 20:39Speaker 1: don't regret any any of it, but this was a
- 20:44Speaker 1: different chapter that I was really unsure about and really
- 20:50Speaker 1: wanted to make sure that I did it right. And
- 20:54Speaker 1: I feel I feel good about that. I feel very
- 20:57Speaker 1: sure about that choice.
- 20:58Speaker 3: There's a lot of housewives and how had babies on
- 21:01Speaker 3: the show, you know, while filming, and I always thought like, oh,
- 21:05Speaker 3: how can you even navigate through that. You're not sleeping
- 21:09Speaker 3: at night, you have a new born, you have to film,
- 21:11Speaker 3: you have to leave your baby.
- 21:13Speaker 5: That's hard.
- 21:14Speaker 1: Hormones, postpartum worlds are crazy, and then you add the
- 21:18Speaker 1: stress and you know, maybe like I could see having
- 21:21Speaker 1: like a second or third like child, but for.
- 21:25Speaker 6: My first, and you know, all of the stress that I.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Put on myself about becoming a mom and having my
- 21:31Speaker 1: first child. I just I needed to figure it out
- 21:35Speaker 1: by myself.
- 21:36Speaker 3: You need to Does that mean you'll go back now
- 21:40Speaker 3: that you have it all figured out?
- 21:41Speaker 6: I don't. I don't have it all figured it out.
- 21:43Speaker 6: I'm so freaking figure it out. I don't.
- 21:46Speaker 1: I never say never, you know, anything as possible. I
- 21:50Speaker 1: literally leave every door open.
- 21:54Speaker 4: Are you coming this year?
- 21:57Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 21:58Speaker 1: I will be in Vegas for another gig that weekend.
- 22:04Speaker 1: Oh I heard, yeah, and I heard that there might
- 22:09Speaker 1: be like a trader is something going on?
- 22:13Speaker 6: But I don't know.
- 22:14Speaker 1: But I'll be there for I'm hosting a drag brunch,
- 22:20Speaker 1: a voter registration drag brunch. Oh, that's fine in Vegas
- 22:24Speaker 1: that weekend. Yeah, so you guys can get ticket to that.
- 22:28Speaker 4: And what are your thoughts on no Nique coming back.
- 22:34Speaker 6: I don't think about it.
- 22:37Speaker 3: That's a good answer. That is a great answer. She
- 22:42Speaker 3: doesn't enter your mind. She doesn't have Did you watch Potomac's.
- 22:49Speaker 6: No, No, No, I didn't. I didn't. You know, it's
- 22:52Speaker 6: it's it's naive to think.
- 22:54Speaker 1: That I can escape it completely, because you know, I
- 22:58Speaker 1: have a fan that are like will still give me
- 23:02Speaker 1: the play by player and be like so and so
- 23:04Speaker 1: said this, and I can't believe they said it, even
- 23:08Speaker 1: like my mom is like, well, can I is it
- 23:12Speaker 1: okay if I watch? And I'm like, girl, Hanny Candle,
- 23:15Speaker 1: do what you need to do, if you need to watch,
- 23:18Speaker 1: watch the show. But no, I'm I didn't. I didn't
- 23:21Speaker 1: follow it. So I got the highlights and then and
- 23:26Speaker 1: I last night, I don't know what he's saying, but
- 23:28Speaker 1: the premiere has happened, but I didn't watch, so I don't.
- 23:34Speaker 6: I don't know what happened. People I know Stacy, Yes,
- 23:38Speaker 6: does she have bad breath?
- 23:43Speaker 4: I don't know what That's all they're talking about show.
- 23:49Speaker 3: Yeah, they're talking about is her bad breath?
- 23:52Speaker 4: That is hot? That is stinky? That oh my gosh.
- 23:56Speaker 2: And then the first scene we see of her, she's
- 23:59Speaker 2: walking in and she burps.
- 24:02Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 24:02Speaker 3: She's like and then two said was it jisale or
- 24:05Speaker 3: somebody goes it's her breath is tart tart?
- 24:09Speaker 6: Oh? Could you?
- 24:10Speaker 3: I was like so embarrassed. Wow, it was really nice.
- 24:17Speaker 1: That's kind of you know, that's that's the way the
- 24:19Speaker 1: cookie crumbles.
- 24:20Speaker 6: It's this is her second season, our third.
- 24:23Speaker 4: Season, her second season.
- 24:24Speaker 1: Second season, I mean yeah, second, third season. That's when
- 24:27Speaker 1: they hate you. They can't they can't let you make
- 24:30Speaker 1: you think that you're going to come in and be like,
- 24:32Speaker 1: you know, the comeback kid or be like miss Popular.
- 24:35Speaker 1: They have to like break you down. So I guess
- 24:38Speaker 1: her breath will be her downfall. I mean it's crazy.
- 24:45Speaker 5: I mean it could be worse.
- 24:47Speaker 3: Right, I'd rather than taking your breath and instead of
- 24:49Speaker 3: your husband.
- 24:50Speaker 6: Because correct, yeah, they are talking about.
- 24:53Speaker 3: Her husband too and her.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Boyfriend, right, but her husband they're divorced.
- 25:00Speaker 2: But they're back together together. He films, and according to
- 25:05Speaker 2: I think it was Ashley, she tried to find the
- 25:08Speaker 2: divorce paperwork and couldn't find.
- 25:11Speaker 3: It, and then TJ we're here, we are telling her
- 25:14Speaker 3: about and then TJ is suing Stacy.
- 25:19Speaker 5: Why not paying him?
- 25:21Speaker 6: Not paying? Yes, okay, I did hear about that. I
- 25:24Speaker 6: did hear. I never believed that that was her boyfriend.
- 25:29Speaker 4: It didn't feel right.
- 25:31Speaker 2: And then especially now that we see her with her
- 25:33Speaker 2: husband or ex husband or whatever he is and they're
- 25:36Speaker 2: back together.
- 25:37Speaker 5: They're like polar opposites.
- 25:39Speaker 6: Her husband, her.
- 25:41Speaker 3: Husband, and the TJ guy that she was dating. Oh well,
- 25:44Speaker 3: polar opposites.
- 25:46Speaker 1: I've never heard him speak. I've only seen him on Instagram.
- 25:50Speaker 1: I know he's he's German, right, Yeah, he didn't any
- 25:54Speaker 1: of an accent.
- 25:55Speaker 4: Yeah, and he's really nice to her.
- 25:57Speaker 3: It's nice nice. Yeah, we've only seen a little bit
- 26:00Speaker 3: of him, but he seems really nice.
- 26:02Speaker 4: We didn't really get a good vibe from TJ.
- 26:06Speaker 6: Okay, well, I mean because t J doesn't want to
- 26:08Speaker 6: be with Stacy.
- 26:10Speaker 3: Yeah we know, yeah, we know, we know what you're saying.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Okay, t J he was, he was, he was having
- 26:19Speaker 1: a crisis because he knew he didn't want to.
- 26:22Speaker 3: He thought he was getting a job and thought he
- 26:23Speaker 3: was getting paid.
- 26:26Speaker 4: That's and first sistant housewife.
- 26:29Speaker 2: Offering to pay half of what they make. I mean,
- 26:31Speaker 2: that's we made nothing.
- 26:33Speaker 4: You want to make.
- 26:37Speaker 5: Taxes?
- 26:38Speaker 6: How much do you think you're about to make nothing?
- 26:41Speaker 4: Oh my goodness.
- 26:43Speaker 5: What about Karen?
- 26:45Speaker 3: Are you friend?
- 26:47Speaker 6: Yes? So I'm happy she home. I'm so happy home.
- 26:51Speaker 3: Have you talked to her?
- 26:53Speaker 6: I have? She's doing well?
- 26:55Speaker 1: She is, she's grounded, like Karen is always grounded, like
- 26:59Speaker 1: I know she was. She was in jail, ground she
- 27:02Speaker 1: was in there running. I know she was, But I
- 27:06Speaker 1: you know, I was worried. I thought about her, like
- 27:08Speaker 1: like I probably there might have been a day between,
- 27:12Speaker 1: like within a week of seven days. I thought about
- 27:15Speaker 1: her six days like I would just wake up and
- 27:17Speaker 1: be like, hear it is in jail? How did we
- 27:21Speaker 1: get here? It just it is the most foreign thought
- 27:24Speaker 1: to me. So I'm glad she's home. I am glad
- 27:27Speaker 1: that she's able to be with her family. Her kids
- 27:30Speaker 1: are close in age to me and my sister. So
- 27:34Speaker 1: I just I think about, you know this, what if
- 27:36Speaker 1: this was my mom? Like it's just a it's just
- 27:40Speaker 1: an awful thing to think about and not to take
- 27:42Speaker 1: away from, you know, time.
- 27:46Speaker 3: Yeah she did.
- 27:47Speaker 6: But she did.
- 27:47Speaker 1: She served her time and you know, hopefully for it
- 27:54Speaker 1: right and and she can move on. And and that's
- 27:57Speaker 1: I want that. I want her to be able to
- 27:59Speaker 1: grow from this and use it to tell a story
- 28:03Speaker 1: that will benefit of it.
- 28:05Speaker 5: Absolutely.
- 28:06Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 28:07Speaker 7: Yeah what about Mia?
- 28:21Speaker 3: Now Mia decided is gone?
- 28:24Speaker 6: Oh yeah?
- 28:25Speaker 4: And then so I heard a rumor that she's trying
- 28:27Speaker 4: to get on Atlanta.
- 28:29Speaker 1: I don't know if it's true, but she's dating Bobby's
- 28:33Speaker 1: fucking Valentino, who.
- 28:35Speaker 6: Is like like Atlanta Royalty. So I can believe that.
- 28:39Speaker 5: Are you serious?
- 28:41Speaker 4: Do you?
- 28:42Speaker 6: So?
- 28:42Speaker 1: We were so we became we became more friendly post show,
- 28:47Speaker 1: like we've talked, we texted, and we weren't following each
- 28:51Speaker 1: other and now we are.
- 28:52Speaker 6: So I see her follow up. Go to her Instagram.
- 28:54Speaker 6: She is on boats and in rolls Royce's. She is
- 29:00Speaker 6: at in court side at the game.
- 29:03Speaker 3: I need to Bobby Valentiner. He's got a pretty cool name.
- 29:07Speaker 1: He's so, He's an R and B singer. Mia has
- 29:10Speaker 1: a type, Mia has a tight She loves.
- 29:13Speaker 4: A little man.
- 29:14Speaker 5: Oh, he's little.
- 29:16Speaker 6: Bobby's a little man man.
- 29:19Speaker 1: Yeah, And I just I don't understand, because why you are.
- 29:24Speaker 5: He's five three?
- 29:26Speaker 7: He's my height, he's my height.
- 29:29Speaker 6: He's teddy.
- 29:30Speaker 4: Sorry, guys, I'm sorry for it, but I'm five.
- 29:35Speaker 6: Two and a half. I rund up to five three,
- 29:37Speaker 6: sue me.
- 29:37Speaker 5: Okay, I pulled it up. How tall is Bobby v.
- 29:41Speaker 6: Valentino.
- 29:42Speaker 3: Yeah, it says he's by three, and right next to
- 29:44Speaker 3: it it says Mia Thornton five six.
- 29:48Speaker 4: But she seems taller to me.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Yeah, she does. I always I always see her in heels.
- 29:54Speaker 1: I feel like she's taller than that too. She's closer
- 29:57Speaker 1: to this.
- 29:57Speaker 3: This must be wrong.
- 29:59Speaker 7: Yeah is wrong.
- 30:00Speaker 5: Yeah, maybe it switched.
- 30:05Speaker 1: And she but like Gordon was little. What's the guy's name?
- 30:10Speaker 1: The other little one, the little strong face.
- 30:13Speaker 6: Yes, ink, Ink was little? She like, what is this
- 30:19Speaker 6: obsession with these little mixes?
- 30:21Speaker 3: Bounce them around?
- 30:22Speaker 6: I guess.
- 30:23Speaker 1: But Mia is like Mia wants someone to take care
- 30:28Speaker 1: of her. She wants to feel like enveloped in like
- 30:32Speaker 1: masculine energy and protect it.
- 30:34Speaker 6: So you would think that she would go back.
- 30:38Speaker 4: I suppose like like.
- 30:42Speaker 1: You could get you can get you a nice tall
- 30:44Speaker 1: glass of drink of water.
- 30:46Speaker 6: Girl, what are you doing with these little gremlins?
- 30:51Speaker 1: I just.
- 30:53Speaker 6: It's very strange to me. And then like she tries
- 30:56Speaker 6: to fake it.
- 30:58Speaker 1: She tries to fake ittures of her and the ink
- 31:01Speaker 1: guy and they would stand like.
- 31:04Speaker 4: Like she'd be sitting in the car and he'd be
- 31:05Speaker 4: standing next to.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Her, or they Summara in the background will be in
- 31:09Speaker 1: the foreground in a picture, so she would be in
- 31:12Speaker 1: the in the power ground.
- 31:13Speaker 8: Would be to make him lo Okay, my girl, I
- 31:20Speaker 8: see you.
- 31:24Speaker 6: We know what are you doing?
- 31:28Speaker 4: Girl?
- 31:30Speaker 5: We all have our types, right, do you know?
- 31:33Speaker 3: Do you know the two newbies Tia and Angel?
- 31:37Speaker 6: No, I don't know.
- 31:39Speaker 4: Well, that's a damn shame because we wanted.
- 31:42Speaker 3: We wanted the dirt.
- 31:43Speaker 6: I don't know anything about them. I that one of them.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Instagram keeps suggesting that I follow I guess because of
- 31:52Speaker 1: the connection, but I don't.
- 31:54Speaker 6: I don't know them. I can't tell you anything about them.
- 31:57Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 31:58Speaker 4: Do you who do you miss the most filming.
- 32:01Speaker 1: With I love filming with Karen. Karen was fun, I
- 32:09Speaker 1: do you know.
- 32:10Speaker 6: I will.
- 32:11Speaker 1: I will be honest and say I miss fighting with Ashley.
- 32:15Speaker 1: I missed filming with her and like pressing.
- 32:17Speaker 6: Her ass out and talking about her forehead. I do miss.
- 32:25Speaker 2: Well, now she's having to fight with Stacy.
- 32:29Speaker 4: That's yeah, so far, so far, that's the fight.
- 32:32Speaker 6: In the first episode. Okay, but I think.
- 32:34Speaker 3: Everybody's fighting with Stacy in the first episode.
- 32:37Speaker 4: Really yeah, because she won't admit to anything. She won't
- 32:41Speaker 4: admit to anything. Yeah, I paid the guy.
- 32:45Speaker 6: So she's like the Miya. She's like the new Meda
- 32:47Speaker 6: because that's what happened to me.
- 32:48Speaker 3: Yeah, pretty much like they can't believe anything that she says.
- 32:53Speaker 2: Yeah, well she says it makes.
- 32:56Speaker 6: Right with a smile.
- 32:57Speaker 1: Yeah, like a beautiful interesting Yes, well, I mean shred
- 33:02Speaker 1: lightly because you know, Mia kind of went up in
- 33:05Speaker 1: a blaze of.
- 33:07Speaker 6: Not glory, but just a blaze.
- 33:10Speaker 4: A blaze.
- 33:11Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 33:11Speaker 4: Do you think Robin will ever come back?
- 33:15Speaker 6: I do not care.
- 33:21Speaker 4: Okay, do you ever talk to Giselle?
- 33:25Speaker 5: Huh?
- 33:29Speaker 2: I'm asking you all the questions that I know are
- 33:31Speaker 2: going to get funny reactions.
