- 0:07Speaker 2: Hi. Just a couple of.
- 0:08Speaker 1: Minutes ago, walked right through a TV interview. I wasn't
- 0:11Speaker 1: paying attention.
- 0:12Speaker 2: I was coming back from the bathroom and somebody who's
- 0:15Speaker 2: interviewing Mike Lindell a Mike Pillow guy?
- 0:17Speaker 1: Oh wow? Really?
- 0:18Speaker 2: And I walked right in front of him with the
- 0:20Speaker 2: I saw I realized the camera was over there.
- 0:22Speaker 1: He is over there, right in between hilarious. Oh well,
- 0:25Speaker 1: what are you gonna do?
- 0:25Speaker 2: Hey, don't stand out, don't do your interview near the bathroom.
- 0:29Speaker 1: I'm right, you gotta snip right in front of the camera.
- 0:32Speaker 3: Love your pillows, love your eyes, sleep like a baby
- 0:34Speaker 3: every night.
- 0:35Speaker 1: What wait, you're in his next commercial? What's it You're
- 0:38Speaker 1: in his next commercial? You to see you walking through? Yeah? Exactly.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Eh boy, I'm a big fan of his pillows.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Is Mike Lindell here talking politics or talking pillows?
- 0:49Speaker 3: Probably politics? He's a true believer. Yeah, he's Trump here
- 0:51Speaker 3: than Trump. He's Yeah, he is a true believer.
- 0:55Speaker 2: So, since we're talking about celebrities minor or major, I
- 1:01Speaker 2: remember years ago, one of the first times we were
- 1:06Speaker 2: ever around some of your bigger celebrities. Uh, thank you, Michael,
- 1:10Speaker 2: thank you, flank you Gladys for playing the harp. Cret
- 1:14Speaker 2: Gladys was at the convention in Buffalo when they nominated
- 1:19Speaker 2: Theodore Roosevelt.
- 1:20Speaker 3: That's correct. Yeah, they were briefly linked. That's all I'm saying.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Of course you couldn't.
- 1:27Speaker 3: She couldn't vote at the time as a woman. But
- 1:29Speaker 3: all I know is what she once said to me
- 1:31Speaker 3: rough Rider.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Correct. I didn't pursue it. Wow, why did you?
- 1:38Speaker 2: There is some double entendre presidential humor for you if
- 1:44Speaker 2: that's what you're looking for exactly, Katie, Phil feel free
- 1:48Speaker 2: to welcome to jump in any time you can. I
- 1:50Speaker 2: realize we have we have been Mike Hoggs today as
- 1:53Speaker 2: you are back in the studio in Sacramento where we
- 1:56Speaker 2: are here in Milwaukee. But and I don't know what
- 1:59Speaker 2: you're experience it has been with celebrities. You know, when
- 2:02Speaker 2: you're new to the idea of celebrities, it's pretty shocking
- 2:04Speaker 2: if you've never been around a celebrity or whatever. And
- 2:07Speaker 2: then after you have been for a while, I mean,
- 2:10Speaker 2: and it doesn't take very long it ceases to be
- 2:13Speaker 2: interesting or amazing at all. And and you very quickly
- 2:16Speaker 2: come to the conclusion of they're just people that you've
- 2:19Speaker 2: seen on television. That's what they are, and nothing other
- 2:24Speaker 2: than that. But I was going to tell the story
- 2:27Speaker 2: that's why the heart played of a geez way back
- 2:32Speaker 2: in our career. But we are some big event and
- 2:34Speaker 2: doctor Laura was there. That was the biggest radio celebrity
- 2:37Speaker 2: I'd ever seen in person.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Anyway. I point over and I say, God, there's doctor Laura.
- 2:41Speaker 2: And our agent at the time, George puts my hand down.
- 2:44Speaker 2: He says, you don't point at her like she's a star,
- 2:47Speaker 2: You're a star. Like that's a bad way to think
- 2:50Speaker 2: about this, Damn Hick.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Yeah, anyway, and I've always remembered that, and as I said,
- 2:59Speaker 2: I've I'm no longer quite as interested in anybody who's
- 3:02Speaker 2: an actual or your star in anyway.
- 3:05Speaker 4: Well, yeah, you're just walking in front of Mike Lindell interviews,
- 3:07Speaker 4: you know, like it's nothing oblivious.
- 3:10Speaker 1: You know.
- 3:11Speaker 3: I've had a couple of opportunities to meet like people
- 3:14Speaker 3: I really admire from one field or another.
- 3:16Speaker 1: And I generally I think, do I have anything to
- 3:18Speaker 1: say to.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Them other than hey, I really enjoy your work, And
- 3:23Speaker 3: no and you're way better at this than me, Like
- 3:26Speaker 3: just engaging people in conversation to see what they might say, Like, yeah,
- 3:29Speaker 3: they chat with Ed o'keef earlier.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Oh, I didn't tell my story about the world's most
- 3:34Speaker 2: handsome man. Oh shoot, unfulfilled promise. That's also a celebrity.
- 3:40Speaker 2: You know, who's the most handsome man I've ever seen
- 3:42Speaker 2: in my life?
- 3:42Speaker 1: Katie?
- 3:42Speaker 2: I talked to him this morning. Oh Bill mallusion of
- 3:45Speaker 2: Fox News. Really, my god, Oh my god? He is
- 3:50Speaker 2: blindingly handsome.
- 3:52Speaker 3: Well he's he was a big Fox News La local guy,
- 3:57Speaker 3: and he's good looking by las.
- 3:58Speaker 1: But he looks like a hologram. He doesn't need this.
- 4:03Speaker 1: His skin doesn't look like human skin. Wow, now that's
- 4:06Speaker 1: a compliment. See I thought he was.
- 4:09Speaker 4: He was hot on TV. So if you're saying this,
- 4:11Speaker 4: it about in real life.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Oh my god. And his hair is like no, don't
- 4:16Speaker 1: get me started about it. I wanted to say to him,
- 4:18Speaker 1: what is that? Can I touch it? I mean, who
- 4:21Speaker 1: has hair like that?
- 4:22Speaker 3: We're a couple of heterosexual men too. Can you imagine
- 4:25Speaker 3: if we were gay guys talking about him? I mean,
- 4:26Speaker 3: he is he's like radiant, he's zoo and.
- 4:29Speaker 1: He's taller than me, so he must be six ' two.
- 4:32Speaker 1: He's just a little bit. He's Brettbear, always tall to.
- 4:35Speaker 2: I'm still talking about how good looking he is, but
- 4:38Speaker 2: it's just it's like and and he's really really good
- 4:41Speaker 2: And that's what I said.
- 4:42Speaker 1: I didn't actually say your handsome. Can I touch your hair?
- 4:46Speaker 1: Gay weirdo?
- 4:49Speaker 2: I said, Hey, Bill Mallusian, we're big fans Armstrong and
- 4:52Speaker 2: Getdy Show. I know you've never heard of us, but
- 4:54Speaker 2: we talk about you all the time. We play your
- 4:55Speaker 2: stuff all the time. I explain where we are and
- 4:57Speaker 2: what we do a little bit, and he said, oh yeah,
- 4:58Speaker 2: you guys in California know about I said, man, the
- 5:01Speaker 2: job you're doing on the border is so important and
- 5:03Speaker 2: so great, and you've elevated to this one of the
- 5:05Speaker 2: biggest issues in America.
- 5:06Speaker 1: He said, I'll tell you what. It's gonna ramp back
- 5:08Speaker 1: up before the election.
- 5:10Speaker 2: From everybody I'm talking to, he said, come September, it's
- 5:13Speaker 2: going to be back in the news every single day again.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Huh okay.
- 5:16Speaker 2: And then I asked him if I could feel his hair,
- 5:18Speaker 2: and then somebody maced me, and then everything went blurry
- 5:20Speaker 2: for a while.
- 5:21Speaker 1: I don't remember what happened after that. Yeah.
- 5:23Speaker 3: Yeah, he's going to be a news superstar. Absolutely. What's
- 5:29Speaker 3: it like to have your ticket punched like that?
- 5:31Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 5:31Speaker 1: What's it like to look like that and be smart?
- 5:37Speaker 1: It's like not fair the piano like or something. Yeah. Yeah, yeah,
- 5:43Speaker 1: with his eyes closed. He had beautiful hair. He still does.
- 5:47Speaker 1: He'll have Billy jem he still does. Anyway.
- 5:50Speaker 2: My point was originally about bringing up celebrities, is do
- 5:57Speaker 2: you just ignore them? Or is there any should I
- 6:01Speaker 2: try to get a selfie with all of them I see?
- 6:03Speaker 2: Or is there any point in that? I don't want
- 6:05Speaker 2: to be that person?
- 6:05Speaker 1: Really? What's that old saying? No?
- 6:08Speaker 3: No, I don't either, it's too gerous. I wouldn't for me.
- 6:11Speaker 3: I would never for me if I was just a
- 6:12Speaker 3: regular person. No that I think that's strange. But sorry
- 6:16Speaker 3: to all of you who ever asked for a selfie
- 6:18Speaker 3: with me.
- 6:19Speaker 2: I don't think you're strange, but no, no, But I
- 6:22Speaker 2: like for our listeners. I think our listeners think it's
- 6:25Speaker 2: cool if we have a picture with various people they know.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Yeah, absolutely, But what's that old saying about treat a
- 6:33Speaker 3: star like a common person and treat a common person,
- 6:36Speaker 3: like a star, just a way to comport yourself.
- 6:39Speaker 4: I've always believed if I met a celebrity, it can
- 6:42Speaker 4: never hurt to tell them that you think they're great.
- 6:44Speaker 4: You don't necessarily have to fan girl over them, but
- 6:46Speaker 4: a compliment never hurt anybody.
- 6:47Speaker 3: Don't gosh, just to be sincere well like of the
- 6:50Speaker 3: group I saw it last night at the restaurant.
- 6:52Speaker 1: There was Brett Bear and Britt Humor.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Really really I don't like both of those guys and
- 6:57Speaker 2: everything like that, but I didn't feel compelled to talk
- 6:59Speaker 2: to him. But like, if Steve Days had been there,
- 7:01Speaker 2: We're big fans of Steve Days from the Dispatch.
- 7:02Speaker 1: I'd really want to talk to him.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Oh interesting, Yeah, i'd love the person just because I
- 7:06Speaker 2: don't know. I just like, really respect the work he does,
- 7:08Speaker 2: and I'd like to want to have a commerciay.
- 7:10Speaker 1: So I don't know.
- 7:10Speaker 2: I guess it depends on your level of enthusiasm for
- 7:13Speaker 2: their work.
- 7:14Speaker 1: But I don't know. If I'm a selfie.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Sort of guy, If I'm ay, can I take a
- 7:18Speaker 2: selfie with you sort of guy?
- 7:19Speaker 1: Joe took us outing with Marjorie Taylor Green, Yes I did.
- 7:22Speaker 1: That was a pretty bold move. I had to.
- 7:24Speaker 2: We're lots of people doing it. I was the first
- 7:28Speaker 2: that I was aware of. Did you do it more
- 7:30Speaker 2: for friends of yours that you thought would think it
- 7:34Speaker 2: was hilarious?
- 7:35Speaker 1: I did it for a number of reasons.
- 7:38Speaker 3: I did it for the show, my own amusement, the
- 7:40Speaker 3: amusement of my friends, my family, the irony of it.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Since you know, I've said some.
- 7:45Speaker 3: Slightly critical things about the poor moment congresswoman in.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Green and everyone knows it. I just I thought it
- 7:52Speaker 1: was funny.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Everyone she meets, she has to assume they may possibly
- 7:57Speaker 2: have said some not nice things about her.
- 7:59Speaker 3: Although it's I sat on the air the level of
- 8:01Speaker 3: adoration for her they're in the airplane to the airport
- 8:05Speaker 3: terminal was amazing. People were gushing their thanks and admiration
- 8:10Speaker 3: for her.
- 8:11Speaker 4: You know, I had a slight argument with someone recently
- 8:14Speaker 4: about her, saying, you know, she's just she's a little
- 8:17Speaker 4: over the top for what we need right now. And
- 8:20Speaker 4: I got back.
- 8:20Speaker 1: No, and they go low.
- 8:22Speaker 4: Let's go low with them and her, that whole big
- 8:25Speaker 4: booty thing and all that that apparently is what they loved.
- 8:29Speaker 2: I feel like it hurts our brand, but yeah, I
- 8:33Speaker 2: do too. So Kay hasn't heard this story that Hanson
- 8:36Speaker 2: and Joe have heard. But this person I sat next
- 8:37Speaker 2: to on the plane. So this guy sitting next to
- 8:41Speaker 2: me on the plane had a Trump bloody face, fist
- 8:45Speaker 2: in the air T shirt.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Wow. This is a day afternoon, this is eighteen hours
- 8:50Speaker 1: after the shooting. Wow.
- 8:52Speaker 2: And people were getting selfies with him just because of
- 8:55Speaker 2: the T shirt. And it's a small plane, so it's
- 8:59Speaker 2: just a two seat row, so it's just him and
- 9:01Speaker 2: me together on that side.
- 9:03Speaker 1: And uh, there's a layer jet, Jack's aller jet.
- 9:06Speaker 2: He said, Uh, how you doing, brother, And Uh, I'm good.
- 9:11Speaker 1: And I said cool shirt.
- 9:13Speaker 2: How'd you get that? And he said I printed it
- 9:15Speaker 2: up right after it happened. Wow, yeah, go get her.
- 9:18Speaker 2: But he also had this other thing. I think I
- 9:20Speaker 2: got it my pocket right here. You guys got it
- 9:22Speaker 2: like a T shirt press That's what I was wondering.
- 9:25Speaker 2: And he's got these, so he leaves these sitting around.
- 9:28Speaker 2: You get Katie's back at home. It looks like a
- 9:31Speaker 2: hundred dollars.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Bill, I get a stack of those all you do? Yeah?
- 9:34Speaker 2: Oh yeah, so leave that someone wear and it looks
- 9:36Speaker 2: like under a bill and you and unfolded on the inside,
- 9:38Speaker 2: and it's a picture of Trump said Trump.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Twenty twenty four on the inside, which is a pretty
- 9:43Speaker 1: funny thing.
- 9:43Speaker 4: I have dropped many of those and ruined a few
- 9:45Speaker 4: people's days, I'm sure.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Anyway, so this guy is with Steve Bannon's outfit, and
- 9:52Speaker 2: he was headed to a much nicer hotel than we're
- 9:56Speaker 2: staying in inside the security perimeter with a bunch of
- 9:59Speaker 2: those people. And he said, yeah, I got twenty guns
- 10:02Speaker 2: with me, so it took me a while to get
- 10:04Speaker 2: they get through security and everything like that.
- 10:05Speaker 1: But if you know it, it's a twenty gun, you
- 10:07Speaker 1: only have two hands. Yeah, So he's part of it.
- 10:11Speaker 1: He's a UFC guy. He was in the Marine Corps.
- 10:14Speaker 1: He was a sniper.
- 10:15Speaker 2: He's got a purple heart tattoo because he was wounded
- 10:18Speaker 2: in battle.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Wow.
- 10:20Speaker 2: He was thick as a brick and looked like he
- 10:22Speaker 2: beat the hell out of anybody. But anyway, he mentioned,
- 10:27Speaker 2: he said, you may see me a couple of times.
- 10:29Speaker 2: I've gone viral for a couple of things. He said, Oh,
- 10:31Speaker 2: I was on the cover of the New York Times
- 10:32Speaker 2: just a couple of weeks ago. I was right behind
- 10:33Speaker 2: Steve Bannon when the Bannon thing happened, I was doing
- 10:36Speaker 2: something and blah blah blah, and I got attention for
- 10:38Speaker 2: that anyway, and he told this story. I don't know
- 10:40Speaker 2: if you remember this, Katie or not. I kind of
- 10:42Speaker 2: remember it. Apparently there was a UFC match where Matt
- 10:46Speaker 2: Gates was Oh, he was texting with Matt Gates the
- 10:48Speaker 2: whole flight, so oh, I mean just connected, dude, I
- 10:51Speaker 2: sit next to him. Wow, connected in those worlds. He said,
- 10:56Speaker 2: I was had a UFC match with Matt Gates and
- 10:59Speaker 2: some ANTIFA guy came after Matt Gates and I turned
- 11:02Speaker 2: and broke the guy's nose, and uh.
- 11:06Speaker 1: That kind of a bunch of attention for that.
- 11:08Speaker 3: When Harold I thought, wow, okay, wow, does he have
- 11:11Speaker 3: a more exciting life than me? Like every moment of
- 11:13Speaker 3: him he is fine, I'll keep mine, Yeah, And I.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Just thought this is this is I mean, this is
- 11:19Speaker 2: some guy who's super hardcore in that whole mega world
- 11:23Speaker 2: and like really in the thick of it, like with
- 11:25Speaker 2: guns and breaking people's noses and stuff.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:28Speaker 3: And the mix between that kind of guy and Mike
- 11:30Speaker 3: Lindell and then you know the part of party of
- 11:33Speaker 3: William F. Buckley and Ronald Drag and a lot of
- 11:35Speaker 3: those guys are still around, and it's an uneasy truce.
- 11:38Speaker 3: But it's funny how parties evolve. We could talk about
- 11:40Speaker 3: the Democratics party all day and they're I mean, all
- 11:44Speaker 3: it is is a series of weird alliances. Yeah, it'll
- 11:47Speaker 3: be fun to observe that throughout the week. The different
- 11:51Speaker 3: factions are flavors of the party and how they express themselves.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Yeah, And he actually said at one point, he said,
- 11:57Speaker 1: you got it.
- 11:58Speaker 2: You realize there's some poor suckers that are out the
- 12:00Speaker 2: perimeter and they got out of travel like thirty minutes
- 12:02Speaker 2: to get the perimeter and hours to get through.
- 12:03Speaker 1: The security, and that must be miserable.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I said, I'm one of those guys, because I
- 12:09Speaker 2: continue to be diminished in my own eyes at this event.
- 12:12Speaker 1: That keeps us hungry. Literally, I'm literally hungry.
- 12:16Speaker 4: That's why Jack wishes he had his pork chop in
- 12:18Speaker 4: his pocket.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Yeah, he had a plan ahead. Well, I guess that's it.
