- 0:03Is marriage nowadays worth the paper it's printed
- 0:07on? That's a question for everybody to consider
- 0:13Because nine times out of ten somebody in a marriage
- 0:18is cheating lying or deceiving you or Plotting
- 0:24your murder to get your life insurance This is
- 0:30the story of Bill Hall jr. the trucking executive
- 0:35and millionaire, and his wife Frances Hall. And
- 0:43the mistress Bonnie. And in Texas town, Bill
- 0:59Hall and his young wife Start dating at the age
- 1:05of 16. They met in high school They knew they
- 1:14were destined for each other The love no one
- 1:24could deny After 33 years 32 years 30 years of
- 1:33marriage, however long it was, they were married
- 1:38long enough to grow tired of each other, to long
- 1:48for other people's attention, to want something
- 1:54new in their relationship. After all, they were
- 1:59together since they their teenage years. And
- 2:07after 30 years of marriage, Frances found out
- 2:12her husband was having a two -year -long affair.
- 2:17Now, this man was a thwine, not F -I -N -E, F
- 2:25-U -O -N -E -E -E, thwine. And He had an affair
- 2:36after 30 years mmm, maybe she just found out
- 2:40after 30 years that he was seeing somebody and
- 2:46his mistress is beautiful His wife is pretty
- 2:52too But his mistress was 20 years his senior
- 2:56beautiful as can be body banging And they seemed
- 3:04like they were in love. They had two kids together,
- 3:13I believe. A boy and a girl. He built his trucking
- 3:26company from the ground up. He was a millionaire
- 3:32He was boss I'm telling you he worked hard to
- 3:42build that company they live a life of luxury
- 3:47They took vacations They had it all But one fateful
- 4:03day His wife Francis Ran him off the road during
- 4:13a high -speed chase in 2013 So When she found
- 4:20out her husband was cheating with Bonnie It was
- 4:24a back -and -forth all the time She would put
- 4:27him out. He would go stay with his mistress Her
- 4:35and the mistress would get into it on the phone.
- 4:42But I believe this was the first time they saw
- 4:47each other face to face. I'm not sure about that.
- 4:52But Dateline has the whole story with all the
- 4:57truth. So this happened when she put him out.
- 5:05He was living with his mistress, Bonnie. And
- 5:11this day, her friends and family convinced her
- 5:18to get out and go somewhere. She happened to
- 5:24pass by her husband. And following behind her
- 5:31husband was his mistress And and she was driving
- 5:38there Range Rover or Escalade, I'm not sure who
- 5:46was driving what but Her husband was driving
- 5:54her Harley and Okay, yep, the mistress was driving
- 6:05the Range Rover Francis was driving the Escalade
- 6:11So he had his mistress driving the family's Range
- 6:15Rover And one could argue that was his because
- 6:20he built the company so probably was his his
- 6:23company's name in his name But nevertheless It
- 6:28was his family's Range Rover So, she was going
- 6:34home. She noticed her husband on his motorcycle
- 6:38and his mistress right behind him going the opposite
- 6:47way. So, Frances became enraged. She turned around
- 6:55and started following them. They were going about
- 7:00100 miles per hour. She was take chasing Bonnie
- 7:06At first the husband was in front of body Bonnie
- 7:12Bonnie passed the husband in the Range Rover
- 7:16the husband was on the right side of the freeway
- 7:24highway road and The wife Hit him Hmm did she
- 7:36doing on purpose I Don't know But after she hit
- 7:41him she did not stop she kept chasing the mistress
- 7:45for miles Miles Somebody called it in and said
- 7:55a Cadillac was chasing down a Range Rover going
- 7:59about 100 miles per hour the police got involved
- 8:04and by the time the police got involved Bonnie
- 8:08had turned around to see where her lover was
- 8:12she turned around went back to the scene actually
- 8:16she passed the scene because Francis was still
- 8:21chasing her but she saw Bill on the side of the
- 8:27road like clinging to life And Francis, Bill's
- 8:35wife, kept chasing Bonnie. She didn't even stop
- 8:41checking on her husband. So one would think she
- 8:44did it on purpose. One would think she was so
- 8:47furiated she was trying to get this woman. But
- 8:52she knew about an affair. Because she kept putting
- 8:57her husband out. They kept getting into it. And
- 9:00this final day... that she put him out. She was
- 9:06so enraged. I forgot what caused her rage, but
- 9:11she pulled his hair and started like hitting
- 9:15him out of anger and frustration. She was like,
- 9:21get out, get out. He was like, okay. He left,
- 9:26got on his motorcycle and waved and smiled, you
- 9:29know, bye. If it was... What they call... Um...
- 9:48What was it called? Um... When... Yo! Sudden
- 9:52Passion. When you act out of emotional distress
- 9:58caused by the husband's affair and the mistress's
- 10:02taunts. Sudden Passion. I don't know if it was
- 10:08sudden passion or just angry anger that her husband
- 10:13left and stayed with the mistress. The 20 year,
- 10:1920 year younger mistress who was gorgeous. Anyway,
- 10:30so... It found the husband on the side of the
- 10:42road. Frances finally stopped, went to the scene
- 10:48and tried to get to her husband. The police wouldn't
- 10:51let her. They put it in the car and questioned
- 10:54her. They took him to the hospital where he didn't
- 11:00make it. Man, she just... after her life chasing
- 11:09after a man who she knew was having an affair
- 11:14but she couldn't hold her emotions in so during
- 11:26trial the mister said his wife deliberately ran
- 11:32him down the road because she was so angry chasing
- 11:35her She didn't stop to check on him. She was
- 11:40so mad she kept pursuing Bonnie. And this was
- 11:47in San Antonio in 2013. And then the defense
- 11:54said Bonnie caused the death of the husband.
- 12:07And Francis was just an innocent victim who dealt
- 12:13with his cheating and the mistress' taunts. And,
- 12:31Sonny also said, who was the wife kept ramming
- 12:40the Range Rover like ramming it ramming it from
- 12:44behind um and the defendant said no Francis hit
- 12:57the Range Rover because Bonnie kept brake checking
- 13:00her hmm i don't know Who was at fault who ran
- 13:10into who? But the accident wouldn't happen if
- 13:14Francis wouldn't have chased Those two on the
- 13:19highway So, who do you think was convicted who
- 13:24you think was charged with the murder? The wife
- 13:29who was distraught After seeing her husband and
- 13:35the mistress riding down the road and the mistress
- 13:40driving the family's Range Rover or the mistress
- 13:44who played a part in destroying the family because
- 13:55she knew Bill was married and she just played
- 14:05along. People say she was in it for money She
- 14:10said she wasn't I Believe she was not because
- 14:15this man was fine Whoo 20 years her senior and
- 14:21still fine like He looked good for his age Maybe
- 14:27the money was a perk, but yeah, I would have
- 14:31dated him to not not Being married, but if I
- 14:37was 20 years his junior and he was single and
- 14:41looking like he did Oh, I would have dated him
- 14:45Whether he had money or not, but baby So who
- 14:50you think was convicted of his murder was charged
- 14:55with his murder Well After the jury deliberated,
- 15:07they charged Francis, his wife, with a murder
- 15:13and gave her a sentence from 5 to 99 years or
- 15:27life in prison. Well, I think she received life
- 15:46in prison, but when the jury found her guilty,
- 16:03her defense attorneys argued that the crash was
- 16:06an accident and that she acted under sudden passion.
- 16:15the jury did found her guilty of murder an aggravated
- 16:18assault with a deadly weapon but agreed she acted
- 16:21under sudden passion which reduced the potential
- 16:25sentence from five to 99 years or life in prison
- 16:28to a range of 220 so after she was found guilty
- 16:38under sudden passion francis hall received a
- 16:43two -year prison sentence for the murder and
- 16:48a concurrent two -year sentence for the aggravated
- 16:56assault. She was released in prison in 2018 after
- 17:02serving her sentence. But that's not all the
- 17:10crime that Francis did. Francis she was a sneaky
- 17:17little bitch she After she got out She was convicted
- 17:29of a legal matter related to the family business
- 17:35Francis Hall later received a 10 -year deferred
- 17:40adjudication sentence probation and was ordered
- 17:44to pay restitution for a multi -million dollar
- 17:47insurance fraud. She orchestrated at Bill Hargo
- 17:55Trucking, her husband's trucking company. She
- 18:01cooked up a scheme to avoid $9 million in workers'
- 18:16compensation premiums. She pled under plea agreement,
- 18:30and that's how she received the 10 years deferred
- 18:34adjudication, and was ordered to pay $150 ,000
- 18:39in restitution. person Scheme to avoid nine million
- 18:48dollars in workers compensation, but pay only
- 18:52once pay only $150 ,000 in restitution and Will
- 18:58undergo treatment as a probation department recommended
- 19:01what? Friday investigators with the Texas Department
- 19:09of Insurance confirmed that between 2019 and
- 19:152016, Hall under -reported payroll information
- 19:19to Texas Mutual Insurance Company and concealed
- 19:23payroll reports to get a lower insurance premium
- 19:27on their travel hauling business. Hmm. But that's
- 19:37not all. There's more. There's more. In 2022,
- 19:48Hall, Francis, previously convicted of killing
- 19:55her husband in 2013, and serving a two -year
- 20:00sentence, was recently arrested for insurance
- 20:04fraud. You know what this fraud is now? secured
- 20:12execution of a document by deception. Yeah. So
- 20:22she received the $20 ,000 bond. If you want to
- 20:33watch a true story, more exciting version, Watch
- 20:40it on Dateline And the story is called What is
- 20:54this episode called but just look up Bill Hall
- 21:14Jr. and Francis and the Dateline episode will
- 21:20come up on your phone or your computer or even
- 21:23on your TV if you record Dateline episodes but
- 21:29yeah I don't know there's more to his story but
- 21:38he lost his life due to his cheating and due
- 21:49to his wife's anger and resentment for the young
- 21:56Tenderoli. They all were victims. Well, no. Francis
- 22:05was the victim. Bill was a victim of murder.
- 22:11Bonnie was just a... little plaything that Frances
- 22:17said her husband was trying to get rid of. She's
- 22:21like, yeah, he was tired of her because he said
- 22:26she was crazy. She stalked him. She somehow tapped
- 22:34into their Facebook and ended up at restaurants
- 22:39when they were at or like events. sporting events
- 22:45and she would show up there I might have got
- 22:49the sporting events wrong but she ended up at
- 22:53events that they were at his wife said he was
- 23:00trying to get rid of her but if that was so why
- 23:03would he stay with her and still be with her
- 23:06he didn't need her money he was rich so he could
- 23:10have had bought another house or he could have
- 23:15stayed at hotel he could have bought a house
- 23:20with cash but he wanted to be with his mistress
- 23:24whether she was crazy demanding using him for
- 23:30money or not he wanted to be with her or he wouldn't
- 23:35have been with her he wouldn't have kept plan
- 23:38in his wife's face you know He took a gamble
- 23:47on his life. He didn't know at the time but You
- 23:53can't play with the people's emotions Inspector
- 23:57came out on top. I'm not saying he deserved to
- 24:00get killed but people who play with people's
- 24:05emotions and hearts and time They don't have
- 24:10the best life it may be good for them at that
- 24:14time Yeah, I'm having fun. I'm playing this one.
- 24:17I have two women fighting over me But that's
- 24:22all going to come to an end And if you've been
- 24:27a victim of cheating Look back on your exes and
- 24:32see what they're doing right now They're either
- 24:35alone Trying to get back with you Look disgusting
- 24:46struggling or Have really settled for less Because
- 24:52they can't get anybody because of the way they
- 24:54played people in their prime Is marriage really
- 25:02worth the ink is printed on The paper is printed
- 25:07on hmm if you engage or think about getting married
- 25:16or just single and thinking about getting back
- 25:20into the dating scene. I would do my due diligence
- 25:24and look up this person back and forth. To save
- 25:29you some heartache, I would hire a private investigator
- 25:33before I get into a true relationship nowadays.
- 25:41Men and women kill their wives for life insurance.
- 25:47They kill their wives to be with their lovers.
- 25:54Innocent victims get killed over a relationship
- 26:03that's deceptive. I've heard so many stories
- 26:12of women or men, mainly women, Being murdered
- 26:18by the mistress because the wife I mean by the
- 26:23wife I mean by the mistress sorry because the
- 26:28mistress wanted their husband and The husband
- 26:31kept playing with the mistress saying I'm gonna
- 26:34leave my wife. I'm gonna leave my wife Then the
- 26:37innocent person that's getting cheated on Loses
- 26:42their lives and most of the time something even
- 26:45more aware of the partner's cheating So before
- 26:51you jump in headfirst Use your head and investigate
- 26:58these people especially if someone Pressing you
- 27:03to get married soon or changing the terms of
- 27:09the relationship the terms that you agreed on
- 27:15It's not embarrassing to call off an engagement
- 27:18especially after you got engaged and What they
- 27:24said or they promise that they were going to
- 27:27do when you got married They reneged on it and
- 27:34start trying to control you Back out give the
- 27:40ring back and go about your business because
- 27:46I promise you you won't have peace in your life
- 27:52I promise you you won't have peace in life if
- 28:00you ignore red flags if you ignore red flags
- 28:16Until next time, thank you for listening and
- 28:22you decide. Is your marriage worth the paper
- 28:29it's printed on?
