- 0:00Speaker 1: How nine and five investors should properly invest. I like
- 0:05Speaker 1: this question, and I know it's been presented a few times.
- 0:07Speaker 1: How do I properly access profits or investors a nine
- 0:13Speaker 1: to five investors? This timeframe has to be the same.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Find four quality companies, hold for five years. Don't deviate
- 0:20Speaker 1: from that. I know it's not the answer that you
- 0:22Speaker 1: want to hear, but like you, if you're not willing
- 0:25Speaker 1: to hold for half a decade, you don't want wealth.
- 0:29Speaker 1: You want to flip. I'm not in the show you
- 0:32Speaker 1: how to flip because most people don't have enough discipline
- 0:35Speaker 1: for that. But if you hold for a five year period,
- 0:37Speaker 1: you're doing credibly well. If you've held something that I
- 0:40Speaker 1: recommended for five years and made money, please put us
- 0:42Speaker 1: in check. I know some want a short term, one
- 0:47Speaker 1: year answer, and we're back in the gamification of making everything.
- 0:51Speaker 1: It means stock, so I get it. But the easiest
- 0:53Speaker 1: way to get those high returns is to hold for
- 0:55Speaker 1: a five year period. So I hope this helps. There's
- 0:58Speaker 1: no difference between if your institution investor fund to fund
- 1:03Speaker 1: to me nine to five full time trader, you have
- 1:07Speaker 1: to have some positions long term and if you're not
- 1:09Speaker 1: holding for five years, you're gambling. Truth be tall, So
- 1:13Speaker 1: y'all know you want to argue with it. Some of
- 1:14Speaker 1: y'all may want to argue with it. But those outside
- 1:17Speaker 1: returns of the returns the bitcoin of gotten over ten
- 1:20Speaker 1: years in the video of gotten, you can't get those
- 1:23Speaker 1: unless you're holding for five or six year period. So
- 1:26Speaker 1: hope for the long term. So you hold for the
- 1:28Speaker 1: long five? Do you do you? Ever?
- 1:32Speaker 2: This is interesting right because I feel like what's happened
- 1:36Speaker 2: is we've created the portfolio where you have shares, right
- 1:39Speaker 2: and if I have shares, then I get options contracts
- 1:42Speaker 2: and any profit comes from the options. But I never
- 1:44Speaker 2: really take profit from the shares. Is there any point
- 1:48Speaker 2: do you? Like, you know, like I used to say,
- 1:49Speaker 2: like a percentage, if we go over one hundred percent,
- 1:51Speaker 2: we're going to take out our initial profit and we'll
- 1:53Speaker 2: let the runners run. Is is it just keep in
- 1:57Speaker 2: the portfolio?
- 1:59Speaker 1: Right?
- 1:59Speaker 2: Like? Do you just keep I got two thousand years
- 2:02Speaker 2: of the video, I'm keeping it for the next ten years?
- 2:05Speaker 1: Or is you know what?
- 2:06Speaker 2: In Nvidia has grown by two hundred percent since I
- 2:09Speaker 2: purchased it. I may you know what I mean? Like?
- 2:11Speaker 2: What do you suggest for that nine to five investor.
- 2:14Speaker 1: I don't I don't want to give the select trading
- 2:16Speaker 1: has considerable risk. Please consult your advisor. Just because it
- 2:20Speaker 1: has happened for some text stops does not mean that
- 2:22Speaker 1: it will happen for all. But if you hold for
- 2:24Speaker 1: a ten year window, you could be up five thousand percent.
- 2:29Speaker 1: So some people are cutting profit off too quickly and like, well, wow,
- 2:36Speaker 1: I got two in three thousand percent. The other part
- 2:37Speaker 1: that they don't tell you, and I've done this at
- 2:39Speaker 1: every investmentst in my presentation, they always tell you the
- 2:44Speaker 1: long term investment is born when all the wealth accumulation
- 2:48Speaker 1: happens in five, ten, and twenty year cycles. So would
- 2:51Speaker 1: you want to miss out on a ten year bitcoin run,
- 2:54Speaker 1: a ten yure, Tesla run tenure, am D run tenure
- 2:57Speaker 1: in video run and be up several thousand percent? No?
- 3:00Speaker 1: And as a person who and I'll tell you it's
- 3:04Speaker 1: really hard to sit on equity and not buy shit.
- 3:10Speaker 1: I know, but there's nothing better. Then if a deal
- 3:14Speaker 1: doesn't go through, it don't matter. It doesn't matter. Now
- 3:18Speaker 1: you have all the chips in your favor. A lot
- 3:20Speaker 1: of times we say, and I've said this before, going
- 3:24Speaker 1: back to twenty twenty. You can't tell me that you
- 3:26Speaker 1: want generational wealth and you want hold for your generation.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Somebody's going to finesse you out of your spot too early.
- 3:34Speaker 1: So one of the best things I've done in my portfolio,
- 3:37Speaker 1: Xander's portfolio is just whole for a long period of time.
- 3:40Speaker 1: And that's why a lot of times people like, oh,
- 3:42Speaker 1: things are going well. It's the discipline of holding that
- 3:45Speaker 1: gives you the freedom to be able to say what
- 3:47Speaker 1: you want and do what you want. So I get it.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Behold for the long term. Maybe take some out in
- 3:55Speaker 1: a five year period and be disciplined with the money,
- 3:58Speaker 1: but to take the money out to go blow it
- 4:01Speaker 1: on bags and go buy Balinciaga, and because you want
- 4:03Speaker 1: to go buy a car and you want to spend
- 4:05Speaker 1: some money on your side piece. I don't want to
- 4:06Speaker 1: hear that. I don't want. I don't if you don't
- 4:10Speaker 1: like to ask, I was rich when y'all met me.
- 4:12Speaker 1: I don't care if you like to answer or not.
- 4:14Speaker 1: This is the truth. Even at the video, you're looking
- 4:18Speaker 1: at some of the smartest people on earth to ever
- 4:21Speaker 1: be in tech and they've been holding for ten years.
- 4:25Speaker 1: You can't take the shortcut just because you want to
- 4:27Speaker 1: f off your money. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, right.
- 4:31Speaker 2: I think that's kind of like one of those those
- 4:33Speaker 2: core principles is like if I have an option on
- 4:36Speaker 2: a company, I must own the company, right because I
- 4:39Speaker 2: believe in this future growth. And so if I believe
- 4:41Speaker 2: in this future growth, then I could take a leap
- 4:43Speaker 2: on this, which is why you see TSM in the
- 4:44Speaker 2: portfolio of the time, which is why you see the video,
- 4:46Speaker 2: you see Meta, you see Amazon. That makes a lot
- 4:49Speaker 2: of sense.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, and on the option of the feature side,
- 4:53Speaker 1: that's what it's for for thinking. It is like income
- 4:57Speaker 1: if you will, but or cash flow, but on your
- 5:00Speaker 1: long term portfolio, you want to hold it. Like you
- 5:04Speaker 1: guys haven't sold the IP to invest fest. There's a
- 5:07Speaker 1: reason why it's more valuable in fifteen years than it
- 5:10Speaker 1: is if you sold it year three trade. If you
- 5:14Speaker 1: need cash flow, I'm not mad at that. Before the
- 5:17Speaker 1: equities in the whole, that's minimum five years, ideally ten
- 5:22Speaker 1: to fifteen
