- 0:01Speaker 1: This variety, Big ninety eight point seven.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Well, we are going to get some sunshine today. I
- 0:05Speaker 2: have about fifty and then there is a chance.
- 0:07Speaker 3: Of some showers this evening, Amanda, We're going to take
- 0:11Speaker 3: ourselves to court here a little bit, all right?
- 0:15Speaker 4: All right?
- 0:16Speaker 1: Is there anything you did when you were younger? Oh gosh.
- 0:19Speaker 3: Now, I'm not saying you need to incriminate yourself right now,
- 0:22Speaker 3: but is there anything you did when you were younger
- 0:25Speaker 3: that you would rather your kids never found out? There
- 0:29Speaker 3: are a couple of things I hope my nieces and
- 0:31Speaker 3: nephews never learned about, old uncle Gabe.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Yeah, it's time to be honest here, and I will.
- 0:37Speaker 2: My kids aren't in the car yet, all right. Different
- 0:42Speaker 2: actually something that I will eventually share with them because
- 0:45Speaker 2: it was a terrible thing to do, but it was
- 0:47Speaker 2: a huge life lesson for me.
- 0:48Speaker 1: Oh wow.
- 0:49Speaker 2: I have never been arrested, and I've never been in
- 0:52Speaker 2: trouble in that way. But I was hanging out with
- 0:56Speaker 2: a bunch of girls in high school. They had their license,
- 1:00Speaker 2: and we went to Alexandria Mall Old Viking Plaza, all right,
- 1:04Speaker 2: and we were doing some shopping, and there was a
- 1:07Speaker 2: couple of things that we couldn't afford and we got busted.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Oh no, And.
- 1:14Speaker 2: It was the scariest moment. Oh yeah, ever, I can
- 1:18Speaker 2: imagine it. I still believe there's a picture of me
- 1:21Speaker 2: somewhere where I'm not allowed to go in there.
- 1:23Speaker 1: I don't know if.
- 1:24Speaker 2: I don't know if it's like the will Smith Tenure
- 1:26Speaker 2: Band or for Life. But this was a moment I
- 1:30Speaker 2: will never forget. My parents were out of town having
- 1:33Speaker 2: to have that conversation. My punishment at home was different
- 1:37Speaker 2: than what it was in the court of law. I
- 1:40Speaker 2: had to go to Fergus Falls and I had to
- 1:43Speaker 2: sit in a room and write an apology letter and
- 1:46Speaker 2: then go hand deliver it. I don't know what that
- 1:49Speaker 2: was about, but I remember just shaking and never did
- 1:52Speaker 2: it again. Of course, I mean just horrifying, horrifying.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Ye, well, I have a story.
- 1:58Speaker 3: It's not it's not super similar, but it was teenage,
- 2:02Speaker 3: high school. Fifteen was I fifteen or sixteen, doesn't matter.
- 2:06Speaker 3: High school Gabe, my buddy and I we were really
- 2:11Speaker 3: into playing guitar. Right Our favorite guitar player was Eric Clapton.
- 2:15Speaker 3: If you don't know him, he's just an old blues
- 2:17Speaker 3: guitar player.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Oh we know him. And there was a.
- 2:21Speaker 3: There was this famous graffiti of Eric Clapton in this
- 2:27Speaker 3: English or like UK subway back in the sixties that
- 2:31Speaker 3: said Clapton is God. So fifteen sixteen year old Gabe
- 2:37Speaker 3: and friend went to this middle school and now here
- 2:42Speaker 3: is what I will say. I did not actually do it,
- 2:45Speaker 3: but I was definitely there and I an accompls but
- 2:48Speaker 3: I didn't actually do it. But we spray painted on
- 2:53Speaker 3: said school Clapton is God. And that did not go
- 2:56Speaker 3: over well.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Full on graffiti. Yes, spray where it was like on
- 3:01Speaker 1: the side like on brick.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Yes, oh gosh, not great because of course yes, of course.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Of course.
- 3:12Speaker 3: So did have to go to court for that, and
- 3:17Speaker 3: then basically I just got like community service for a
- 3:19Speaker 3: couple of days. And I'm sure there was a fine
- 3:22Speaker 3: that mom and dad ended up having to cover, which
- 3:26Speaker 3: they that's rilled about. You're surprising. Did they make you
- 3:29Speaker 3: work it off at all?
- 3:30Speaker 1: Well? I think that was part of the old community
- 3:32Speaker 1: service bit.
- 3:33Speaker 3: Okay, So we did get in trouble for that, and
- 3:37Speaker 3: lo and be old, I haven't touched great pain since.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Now. I didn't do it.
- 3:41Speaker 3: I stand by that, but I definitely went along with
- 3:43Speaker 3: it and was there and was hanging out, you know,
- 3:46Speaker 3: so not very smart.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Gosh, yeah, we we both got busted. And that's kind
- 3:51Speaker 2: of the moral of the story. You're gonna do stupid things.
- 3:55Speaker 2: It happens, you're gonna get punished, yet hopefully learn from
- 3:58Speaker 2: your lesson.
- 3:59Speaker 1: That's right.
- 4:00Speaker 3: That's what I need to tell my kids. Exactly do
- 4:03Speaker 3: as I say, not as I do. Right.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, I'm not ready for that. I'm not
- 4:08Speaker 2: ready for that chapter of parenting. If I could just
- 4:11Speaker 2: hit pause right now where I'm at with like the
- 4:13Speaker 2: little people, little problems, please just keep it this way.
- 4:17Speaker 3: Seven one two eight zero one nine eight seven. I
- 4:20Speaker 3: don't want you to incriminate yourself, but is there anything
- 4:22Speaker 3: you'd be willing to share that you did that you
- 4:24Speaker 3: would not like little Timmy or little Susie to find out?
- 4:28Speaker 1: One day, I'm done saying anything else. This is Jessica.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Well, we're gonna get some sunshine today. I'm about fifty
- 4:36Speaker 2: and then there is a chance of some evening showers
- 4:38Speaker 2: kind of rolling through the area.
- 4:39Speaker 3: I appreciate the honest individuals on the Big ninety eight
- 4:42Speaker 3: point seven Facebook page. Amanda, we wanted to know, is
- 4:45Speaker 3: there anything you did as a kid or in your
- 4:47Speaker 3: younger maybe teen years that you would never want your
- 4:50Speaker 3: kids to find out about.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Well, and they're being honest on the internet. Well some
- 4:55Speaker 2: where it's gonna live forever. There's some Yeah. I think
- 4:59Speaker 2: with being.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Said, all of us just went. I am so thankful.
- 5:06Speaker 2: That I grew up in a generation where we had
- 5:10Speaker 2: to go and develop our film. There was I mean,
- 5:13Speaker 2: we had a couple of videos. I remember we went
- 5:15Speaker 2: through a stage where we had the little camcorder, oh shure,
- 5:19Speaker 2: and there'd be somebody like recording in the backseat.
- 5:22Speaker 1: I don't know where those ended up.
- 5:24Speaker 2: I would be scared to death to know anything about him,
- 5:28Speaker 2: but I'm so thankful for that. They're on the cloud
- 5:30Speaker 2: somewhere and the rest just in my old noggin.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Sharon, she said it's a secret, so she wasn't willing
- 5:37Speaker 3: to share with us. But you know what, I appreciate
- 5:39Speaker 3: you being honest here. We also have a lot of
- 5:42Speaker 3: people who are kind of chiming in with everything or
- 5:47Speaker 3: most of it, like William, and we also have Carla.
- 5:51Speaker 3: I appreciate the honesty. Most of the stuff you did
- 5:53Speaker 3: when you're a kid, you don't want your kids to
- 5:55Speaker 3: find out about that's honest.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I have, like I said, haven't crossed
- 6:01Speaker 2: that stage of parenting. I want them to realize, like
- 6:04Speaker 2: you make mistakes, you move on, you go through.
- 6:06Speaker 1: But we're gonna have to cross that bridge when when
- 6:08Speaker 1: don't we get there?
- 6:09Speaker 3: And I'm not sure if this is Genie or how
- 6:12Speaker 3: you say this lady's name, but she said my lips
- 6:15Speaker 3: are sealed, so she wasn't willing to share. I will
- 6:18Speaker 3: say James in his college years makes total sense. There's
- 6:22Speaker 3: something that involves a water balloon launcher and the top
- 6:25Speaker 3: of Garvn Heights with my buddies and I that is
- 6:27Speaker 3: a story that you knows for a different time. A
- 6:30Speaker 3: water balloon launch you know, like those two where you
- 6:32Speaker 3: have to have the two people who hold the front
- 6:34Speaker 3: and the person who goes all the way back and launches. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 6:38Speaker 3: there's the story with one of those in my college years.
- 6:41Speaker 3: And then we have two more I want to share
- 6:43Speaker 3: with you. Ev says, I tell my kids everything I did,
- 6:46Speaker 3: good or bad, no secrets. Interesting, okay, shot, there's no
- 6:54Speaker 3: chance that that is one hundred percent true, zero chance.
- 6:59Speaker 1: And I got I got one more for you, And
- 7:01Speaker 1: this makes total sense.
- 7:03Speaker 3: Candae can't say both my kids are on Facebook, so
- 7:09Speaker 3: fair enough, you can't.
- 7:09Speaker 1: You can't have them reading that, right. I don't know.
- 7:13Speaker 2: I mean, don't you just get to a point the
- 7:16Speaker 2: older you get, you just know your parents like you're like,
- 7:20Speaker 2: I know where I got.
- 7:21Speaker 3: That from you exactly. Those jeans are not falling too
- 7:25Speaker 3: far from the jean tree.
- 7:26Speaker 2: And then I look at my life and go, oh gosh,
- 7:29Speaker 2: poor Sidney Luanne.
- 7:36Speaker 3: Today's Variety, Big ninety eight point seven, Gabe and Angie.
- 7:39Speaker 3: Some sunshine today, a high of forty nine, maybe rain
- 7:43Speaker 3: in the afternoon. All right, Angie, I want to start
- 7:48Speaker 3: today's program off. What about a little positive note A
- 7:51Speaker 3: good way to get our Wednesday started?
- 7:53Speaker 5: I think I like that.
- 7:54Speaker 3: That'd be kind of nice to start the day off
- 7:56Speaker 3: with some positivity here on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 7:59Speaker 3: And we want you to share these with us as well.
- 8:02Speaker 2: Here.
- 8:02Speaker 3: Did you have a little victory yesterday? It doesn't have
- 8:05Speaker 3: to be some big giant you won the lottery type
- 8:09Speaker 3: thay thing. We're just talking about a little victory, like,
- 8:12Speaker 3: you know, a little Timmy finished his math homework or something,
- 8:14Speaker 3: you know, give us a little small victory.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Do you have one for me, Angie? Oh I do.
- 8:19Speaker 4: I went to go pick up some adult beverages yesterday
- 8:23Speaker 4: for my mom, and I drove to Happy Harry's without
- 8:29Speaker 4: using my maps.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Oh you need to pull out the phone.
- 8:33Speaker 5: Yes, I excited.
- 8:36Speaker 1: That is awesome, thank you.
- 8:37Speaker 4: I'm so directionally challenged and I have to pull up
- 8:40Speaker 4: the maps for everything, and so the fact that I
- 8:43Speaker 4: could do it get there and back without pulling it up,
- 8:47Speaker 4: I feel really accomplished.
- 8:48Speaker 5: Of course it's to you know, the liquor store.
- 8:50Speaker 3: But now you live in South Fargo. I know abouts
- 8:54Speaker 3: where your house is. Did you take the backway using
- 8:57Speaker 3: the roundabouts? Or did you go up to fifty second?
- 9:00Speaker 6: No?
- 9:00Speaker 5: No, I took the round Good for you.
- 9:02Speaker 3: I remember the first time I was able to drive
- 9:05Speaker 3: here without to work. To hear a big ninety eight
- 9:07Speaker 3: point seven without using my like Google maps or whatever.
- 9:10Speaker 1: It's a big accomplishment point.
- 9:12Speaker 5: Yeah, what about you?
- 9:14Speaker 3: Yeah, we had a small victory yesterday at the glitten House.
- 9:17Speaker 3: So our dog, who you know, I probably talk about
- 9:21Speaker 3: way too often. She has kind of a sensitive stomach
- 9:24Speaker 3: when we change her food, and so we try our
- 9:28Speaker 3: best to never change it, but we did change to
- 9:31Speaker 3: a different type of protein in her food for the
- 9:34Speaker 3: past week, and we did not do a great job
- 9:37Speaker 3: of slowly mixing it in with the old food. We
- 9:40Speaker 3: kind of were just like think or swim right right,
- 9:43Speaker 3: well known sank. It was not great on her stomach. No,
- 9:46Speaker 3: it was terrible. But we have got over the hump
- 9:49Speaker 3: with that. As of yesterday, she is used to the
- 9:52Speaker 3: new food. Now good. No more upset stomach for the dog,
- 9:57Speaker 3: which is very nice for myself, very nice for my
- 10:01Speaker 3: wife because she plays stay at home mom in the
- 10:03Speaker 3: mornings with her until she goes to work. So a
- 10:05Speaker 3: lot easier on the glittens with the new dog food.
- 10:09Speaker 1: So a very small victory for us.
- 10:11Speaker 3: Here at Big ninety eight point seven. Today's variety, Big
- 10:17Speaker 3: ninety eight point seven, it's Gabe and Angie partly Sonny
- 10:20Speaker 3: a high of forty nine today. All right, Angie, if
- 10:25Speaker 3: there's one thing I've learned, I am for sure thirty
- 10:28Speaker 3: four years old.
- 10:30Speaker 1: What do you mean in what capacity?
- 10:32Speaker 3: The one thing I have started to notice And I'm
- 10:34Speaker 3: not judging. I think you should it's your life, you
- 10:36Speaker 3: should do whatever you want. Yeah, I have started to
- 10:39Speaker 3: notice at thirty four years old. I'm at that age
- 10:42Speaker 3: group where you know, I don't want to say my
- 10:45Speaker 3: friends are making money or whatever. But at thirty four,
- 10:49Speaker 3: I have a lot of friends and people who I
- 10:51Speaker 3: follow on social media have been in the professional workplace
- 10:54Speaker 3: for forever, for a kind of a long time.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Now they're starting to make a couple extra bucks good.
- 10:58Speaker 3: And I have started to notice that there are a
- 11:01Speaker 3: lot of people in my age bracket as I scroll
- 11:05Speaker 3: on social media that I don't really recognize. And what
- 11:10Speaker 3: I'm getting at is the like botox plastic surgery is
- 11:15Speaker 3: starting to kind of come on in.
- 11:17Speaker 4: Okay, I thought you were saying, like I don't recognize
- 11:19Speaker 4: them anymore because they're making money and they turned into.
- 11:21Speaker 3: Terrible No, but they can now afford to do some
- 11:25Speaker 3: of these things to change their appearance a little bit.
- 11:28Speaker 3: And I just I was scrolling the other day and
- 11:31Speaker 3: not only that, a bunch of them have got married,
- 11:33Speaker 3: so their last name is different on social media. Yeah,
- 11:36Speaker 3: but I just I have started to realize my friends
- 11:39Speaker 3: look different.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Some of these people.
- 11:42Speaker 4: Yeah, with a different last name and the cosmetic surgery.
- 11:45Speaker 5: You're like, who are you?
- 11:46Speaker 3: Yes, It's like, did I go to high school with
- 11:49Speaker 3: this person who is this. So I have started to
- 11:51Speaker 3: notice that a little bit, just in my age range.
- 11:55Speaker 3: So it's it's kind of a strange. I feel like
- 11:58Speaker 3: I'm getting old. Is when I guess I'm getting at
- 12:00Speaker 3: You're not.
- 12:00Speaker 5: Into getting botox for yourself?
- 12:03Speaker 1: Oh no, I don't care.
- 12:04Speaker 3: I think if you want to, you should look how
- 12:06Speaker 3: you want to look, and if you can feasibly do
- 12:08Speaker 3: something to achieve that, all the power to Oh good, I.
- 12:11Speaker 4: Was gonna say, because pretty soon here, Gabe, you're not
- 12:13Speaker 4: going to be able to recognize me, because I am
- 12:16Speaker 4: not trying to age gracefully.
- 12:18Speaker 5: I'm trying to age disgraceful.
- 12:19Speaker 4: Okay, give me all of the treatments, all the botox appeals, filler,
- 12:25Speaker 4: whatever I need, because at this point, I don't care
- 12:27Speaker 4: if I'm recognizable.
- 12:29Speaker 5: I just care if I'm hot.
- 12:34Speaker 3: Today's Variety, Big ninety eight point seven. It's Game and Angie.
- 12:38Speaker 3: And if you do not know this about Angie, Angie
- 12:42Speaker 3: at one point was an actress, right, Oh yeah, like
- 12:45Speaker 3: in high school or.
- 12:46Speaker 5: Just as a theater kid.
- 12:48Speaker 4: I've done a short film or two for some festivals.
- 12:52Speaker 5: It feels like a lifetime ago.
- 12:54Speaker 4: But yeah, that was my bread and butter, well, bread
- 12:58Speaker 4: and butter, but I didn't.
- 12:58Speaker 1: Make any money.
- 12:59Speaker 3: So okay, well I'm gonna brag for Angie a little bit.
- 13:04Speaker 3: Angie will walk around the studio the building here and
- 13:07Speaker 3: is just fantastic at doing like different accents.
- 13:12Speaker 1: It's pretty impressive, at least in my opinion.
- 13:14Speaker 5: Game that's very nice.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know.
- 13:17Speaker 5: I just kind of switch into accents sometimes. I didn't
- 13:19Speaker 5: know anybody notice.
- 13:20Speaker 3: Right, And so well, what I want to do is,
- 13:23Speaker 3: once again, I'm bragging for you. I don't know if
- 13:25Speaker 3: you think you're good at these or not, but I
- 13:26Speaker 3: want to give you a chance to show off a
- 13:28Speaker 3: little bit with these.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Oh gosh, all right.
- 13:30Speaker 3: So what I have for you? Do you know the
- 13:32Speaker 3: words to Espresso? As you might have heard the bed
- 13:34Speaker 3: in the background there. Yeah, yeah, So I have got
- 13:37Speaker 3: a couple different accents that I think you're kind of
- 13:39Speaker 3: famous for, and I want you to read the lyrics
- 13:42Speaker 3: to Espresso. Oh my gosh, well it plays in the background.
- 13:46Speaker 3: Do you think you can do that?
- 13:47Speaker 5: Sure?
- 13:48Speaker 3: All right, So your first accent, can you do a
- 13:51Speaker 3: Britney Spears here. I'll get the music going for you
- 13:53Speaker 3: and hit us with Britney right off?
- 13:55Speaker 1: The bat.
- 13:55Speaker 3: So whatever you gotta do to get into character. Oh
- 13:58Speaker 3: all right, all right, good luck. Whenever you're ready, you
- 14:00Speaker 3: go right at.
- 14:01Speaker 4: Okay, now he's thinking about me, evan Ida.
- 14:08Speaker 5: Isn't that sweet? I guess so?
- 14:11Speaker 1: Oh great? I think that was great. All right? Can
- 14:14Speaker 1: you hit me with the nickey mouse?
- 14:17Speaker 5: Say you can't sleep baby? I know that's that media espresso.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Okay, what about Marge from the Simpsons? Another one you're
- 14:25Speaker 1: good at.
- 14:26Speaker 4: Move it up, down, left, right, ah, switch it up
- 14:30Speaker 4: like Nintendo?
- 14:31Speaker 6: No good?
- 14:32Speaker 1: And then can you take it home?
- 14:33Speaker 3: Give me your best Midwest like Minnesultan accent.
- 14:38Speaker 4: See you can't sleep baby, I know that's that mea espressol.
- 14:44Speaker 3: Tear Today's Ariety, Big ninety eight point seven, Gabe and Angie.
- 14:51Speaker 3: Here we do have partly sunny skies with a high
- 14:53Speaker 3: forty seven today.
- 14:56Speaker 4: I will be the first to admit that I am
- 14:59Speaker 4: perhaps an overprotective mother. But my issue right now is
- 15:05Speaker 4: that my fourteen year old Aiden is really upset with
- 15:10Speaker 4: me about the parental controls I have on our streaming services.
- 15:15Speaker 5: So Netflix, Disney.
- 15:17Speaker 4: Plus, Hulu, I've got it all on lockdown because they're
- 15:21Speaker 4: doing Yeah. I don't want him watching things that he
- 15:25Speaker 4: shouldn't be watching, Like my kids can't watch YouTube either,
- 15:28Speaker 4: And I'm not naive to think I know, I didn't
- 15:34Speaker 4: know this, I know, but I'm not naive enough to
- 15:37Speaker 4: think that my kids aren't seeing things like if they
- 15:40Speaker 4: go to their.
- 15:41Speaker 5: Friends' houses or something.
- 15:42Speaker 4: Right, But I feel like I shouldn't be the one
- 15:45Speaker 4: facilitating them watching content that I think is maybe not
- 15:50Speaker 4: as healthy.
- 15:51Speaker 5: Or good for them.
- 15:53Speaker 4: But his argument yesterday, oh, because he found out that
- 15:56Speaker 4: here you can get your driver's license when you're fifteen,
- 15:59Speaker 4: and so his argument yesterday was if I can drive soon,
- 16:04Speaker 4: how can I still have to be on the baby account.
- 16:07Speaker 1: I was just going to ask you that exact question.
- 16:10Speaker 3: Yeah, we are about to have someone who is in
- 16:13Speaker 3: charge of operating a motor vehicle number one, worth a
- 16:16Speaker 3: lot of money. Number two, there's a lot of other
- 16:18Speaker 3: people on the road that, yeah, you know he has
- 16:21Speaker 3: to accommodate for. And you're worried about little Aiden watching
- 16:26Speaker 3: Wolf of Wall Street.
- 16:27Speaker 4: Yes, specifically Wolf of Wall Street, Okay, because I keep
- 16:31Speaker 4: seeing on social media that it's coming to Disney Plus
- 16:34Speaker 4: and that's the last thing I need him watching. I
- 16:37Speaker 4: just feel like it's inappropriate didn't that they set a
- 16:39Speaker 4: record for like the most F bombs? Yes, yeah, I
- 16:42Speaker 4: don't want him watching that, not under my ruth?
- 16:45Speaker 1: Am I being too? Are you much? Are you serious?
- 16:49Speaker 5: Yes?
- 16:50Speaker 1: He's fourteen?
- 16:52Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 16:52Speaker 5: What were you watching when you were fourteen?
- 16:55Speaker 3: I have no idea, to be honest with you, I
- 16:57Speaker 3: can't remember that far. I will say, I know growing
- 17:01Speaker 3: up my mom didn't want us to watch wrestling because
- 17:03Speaker 3: they didn't like how it depicted women. Oh ing wrestling.
- 17:07Speaker 3: So good call for Mama Audrey, for sure, But at
- 17:09Speaker 3: fourteen years old watching Bluey Are you serious?
- 17:16Speaker 4: The way you keep saying fourteen makes me feel very.
- 17:20Speaker 3: Judged, Gabe, and I'm judging hard?
- 17:23Speaker 1: Am I wrong?
- 17:24Speaker 5: Can you call me and let me know?
- 17:26Speaker 1: Am I wrong?
- 17:27Speaker 4: Should I take the parental controls off and just let Yes?
- 17:31Speaker 3: He can almost operate a motor vehicle at that point,
- 17:35Speaker 3: watch what you want on TV? Right? I guess to
- 17:38Speaker 3: be honest, at fourteen, you really probably don't need to
- 17:40Speaker 3: worry so much about what he's watching on Netflix, as
- 17:43Speaker 3: opposed to if someone's coming over and what do you
- 17:47Speaker 3: mean you know? Netflix and chill? I think that would
- 17:50Speaker 3: be a way bigger issue.
- 17:51Speaker 5: Than and all right, your name trending.
- 17:59Speaker 2: Now Here's that's what you need to know. As expected,
- 18:03Speaker 2: it was a contentious meeting of the Senate Intelligence Committee yesterday.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Democrats criticized top us intelligence leaders, calling the incident that
- 18:10Speaker 2: happened to the day prior reckless, sloppy, and stunning. Meanwhile, President
- 18:15Speaker 2: Trump had this to say, I.
- 18:17Speaker 7: Would ask them, it's not really an FBI thing. It's
- 18:19Speaker 7: really something happy to do with security security, like will
- 18:24Speaker 7: somebody be able to break in? Are people able to
- 18:27Speaker 7: break into conversations? And if that's true, we're gonna have
- 18:30Speaker 7: to find some other form of.
- 18:33Speaker 6: Device.
- 18:33Speaker 7: And I think that's something that we may have to do.
- 18:36Speaker 7: If it was up to me, everybody would be sitting
- 18:38Speaker 7: in a room together. The room would have solid lead
- 18:41Speaker 7: walls and a lead ceiling and a lead floor. But
- 18:44Speaker 7: you know, life doesn't always let you do that.
- 18:47Speaker 1: That is true.
- 18:48Speaker 2: I don't know if there was any breaking into a
- 18:50Speaker 2: text message. I think it was like oop, I accidentally
- 18:52Speaker 2: got it. Vice President Vance, by the way, is going
- 18:56Speaker 2: to be traveling to Greenland on Friday. The White House
- 18:58Speaker 2: had previously announced it his wife would be going, and
- 19:00Speaker 2: that prompted backlash from Greenland and Denmark. Who are calling
- 19:03Speaker 2: out the delegation for attempting a powerplay. Vance did say
- 19:06Speaker 2: on X yesterday, I didn't want her to have to
- 19:09Speaker 2: have all the fun by herself, so I'm going to
- 19:10Speaker 2: join her. President Trump has said that he wants the
- 19:13Speaker 2: US to take control of Greenland.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Starting April eighth.
- 19:17Speaker 2: Mega Millions is getting a glow up with bigger jackpots.
- 19:20Speaker 2: So you're gonna have better odds, according to them, and
- 19:23Speaker 2: they're gonna kind of revamp the price structure. It will
- 19:25Speaker 2: now cost five dollars to play, The jackpots are going
- 19:29Speaker 2: to start at about fifty million dollars, and non jackpot
- 19:32Speaker 2: prizes will jump to range from ten dollars to ten
- 19:35Speaker 2: million dollars, with automatic multipliers replacing the old megapilo.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Megaplier.
- 19:41Speaker 2: So they're saying, like, right now, if nobody wins until
- 19:45Speaker 2: April fourth, it's going to roll over to the new version.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Now, I am not this is just a question.
- 19:51Speaker 3: I don't know, because I want all the good gambling
- 19:54Speaker 3: juju I can get.
- 19:55Speaker 1: In the app, don't we are?
- 19:56Speaker 3: Right?
- 19:56Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 19:57Speaker 3: I am a bit confused though on how they can
- 20:00Speaker 3: improve the odds. Aren't odds just math when it comes
- 20:05Speaker 3: to Mega Millions tickets. It's either like the more tickets
- 20:09Speaker 3: you buy, the better your odds, and or like maybe
- 20:12Speaker 3: the fewer people that play, the better your odds. I
- 20:15Speaker 3: don't know how they can manufacture better odds unless they
- 20:18Speaker 3: just print more winners. Is this those like marketing things
- 20:22Speaker 3: where they say all the odds are better and then
- 20:25Speaker 3: we believe it?
- 20:25Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 20:26Speaker 3: Are they really? I don't know how that works. Theyll
- 20:28Speaker 3: so do not take what I'm saying to be some
- 20:31Speaker 3: fac save I do. Stop questioning them. It's just gonna
- 20:34Speaker 3: be better, Okay, all right, I like it because I'm
- 20:36Speaker 3: trying to win. Send send me that winning ticket.
- 20:39Speaker 1: I'm in. My problem is, you gotta play in order
- 20:42Speaker 1: to win.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Right, We are gonna get some sunshine today, Hive about
- 20:44Speaker 2: fifty Get out and enjoy. There is a chance of
- 20:46Speaker 2: some evening showers.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Today's variety Big ninety eight point seven.
- 20:51Speaker 2: Sunshine today, Hive about fifty chances some evening showers kind
- 20:55Speaker 2: of rolling through the area after about five.
- 20:57Speaker 4: Ready, ready, that's he is today, And now Amanda stills
- 21:04Speaker 4: the sea looks see.
- 21:06Speaker 2: We've been impatiently waiting to see if Ben Affleck was
- 21:09Speaker 2: ever gonna break his silence on his divorce from Jennifer Lopez.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Because we've seen all the tabloid pictures, it's easy to judge.
- 21:16Speaker 2: And he kind of said that, he said the whole
- 21:18Speaker 2: thing was really drama free.
- 21:20Speaker 1: I don't feel like that is right. I feel like
- 21:23Speaker 1: it was everything.
- 21:25Speaker 3: But that, Yeah, I there's no chance. Now, maybe the
- 21:30Speaker 3: actual divorce part was easy. Maybe they had a prenop
- 21:33Speaker 3: where it was pretty hey, this is this is this,
- 21:36Speaker 3: and there was really no like hacking it out in court.
- 21:39Speaker 3: But yes, he does look like a disheveled mess in
- 21:41Speaker 3: every single video photo you see.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Of them being oh poor guy.
- 21:44Speaker 2: He does go on to say that his fans eyes
- 21:46Speaker 2: would gaze over with boredom if they really sat down
- 21:49Speaker 2: and talked to him about his life. Again, I really
- 21:52Speaker 2: just truly do not believe that he does share that
- 21:54Speaker 2: j Loo is still somebody that he has a lot
- 21:56Speaker 2: of respect for. He says that people want to look
- 21:59Speaker 2: for the root cut, but the truth is it's more
- 22:01Speaker 2: mundane than that. Probably people would believe or would want
- 22:05Speaker 2: to be interested in something, but it's just simply not there.
- 22:08Speaker 3: Yeah, maybe it's one of those things. They can still
- 22:10Speaker 3: respect and love each other. Maybe they really just are
- 22:12Speaker 3: better off as friends or seeing each other at award
- 22:16Speaker 3: shows or whatever.
- 22:17Speaker 1: I can't imagine it'm gonna be like hanging out, but yeah,
- 22:19Speaker 1: I feel like that's all kind of cut off.
- 22:21Speaker 2: I just recently saw a story, and again, who knows,
- 22:23Speaker 2: it could be a tabloid report, because it did seem
- 22:24Speaker 2: like they were trying to because they don't share children together,
- 22:28Speaker 2: but because they were so close for I was gonna
- 22:30Speaker 2: say a long time, but.
- 22:31Speaker 1: It was pretty it was pretty short, but there were
- 22:33Speaker 1: kids involved.
- 22:34Speaker 2: Yeah that even at this point, they're just trying to separate.
- 22:37Speaker 2: J Lo's kind of backing off because things have changed.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Yeah, and it should.
- 22:42Speaker 3: Every picture I see Ben Affleck in now it looks
- 22:45Speaker 3: like he just got done work in a fourteen hour
- 22:47Speaker 3: oil rig shift.
- 22:48Speaker 1: I mean, he does not look great.
- 22:50Speaker 2: And I don't know if he has jumped back on
- 22:51Speaker 2: a dating app yet. I have a feeling probably not.
- 22:54Speaker 2: But do you remember when he was on Reya or Ryot.
- 22:57Speaker 2: I do not remember that this is a celebrity dating
- 23:00Speaker 2: app and it just so happens. Yesterday, Nikki Glazer sat
- 23:03Speaker 2: down for an interview with his ex Gwyneth Paltrow and said,
- 23:07Speaker 2: I will never forget when I saw Ben on this
- 23:09Speaker 2: dating app and I tried so hard to match with him.
- 23:12Speaker 3: He's super like him. Can you super like Onreya or
- 23:15Speaker 3: Raya or whatever.
- 23:17Speaker 2: I don't know how it goes down, try to get
- 23:19Speaker 2: on there. Definitely out of our league. I mean, for sure,
- 23:22Speaker 2: both married. That's gonna be a red flag all in itself.
- 23:25Speaker 2: But I feel like you either have to make enough money.
- 23:28Speaker 3: I wonder what it is like, what is like a
- 23:31Speaker 3: status or something you have to have. I would guess, yeah,
- 23:34Speaker 3: I'm gonna do some googling. I'm gonna figure this out
- 23:36Speaker 3: for us. By eight forty one to day, I got.
- 23:38Speaker 1: A feeling you don't even need to bother. Not worth it?
- 23:41Speaker 2: Okay, And to Will Smith, he sat down to talk
- 23:44Speaker 2: about the Oscars, the slap that was heard around the world.
- 23:47Speaker 2: He got that ten year ban after slapping Chris Rock
- 23:50Speaker 2: during the Oscars.
- 23:52Speaker 1: He now has a lot to say and it kind
- 23:55Speaker 1: of hits.
- 23:56Speaker 6: I am looking to be the best human I can
- 24:01Speaker 6: possibly be, and I'm gonna take what I get with that.
- 24:08Speaker 1: I mean, that is just a solid comment.
- 24:11Speaker 3: Talk about another fella who just looks beat down every
- 24:14Speaker 3: time I see him.
- 24:15Speaker 1: He just looks so sad.
- 24:17Speaker 2: Well, I think he is actually really sad because his
- 24:20Speaker 2: wife and him have a very interesting relationship. I get
- 24:23Speaker 2: he has to agree with what's going on, but it
- 24:26Speaker 2: does kind of feel it feels a little icky in
- 24:28Speaker 2: his personal life. If you're again from the outside looking in,
- 24:31Speaker 2: I will tell you Chris Rock has not been open
- 24:33Speaker 2: to speaking with Will Smith yet.
- 24:35Speaker 1: That I did not know.
- 24:36Speaker 3: Yeah, he's not burying it. That was how many years
- 24:39Speaker 3: ago was that it was a couple, right at least? Yes,
- 24:42Speaker 3: you'd think at some point just people in Hollywood would
- 24:45Speaker 3: get them in a room together or something and just
- 24:48Speaker 3: be like, hey, to make this not awkward at other
- 24:51Speaker 3: things going forward?
- 24:51Speaker 1: Can we bury the hatchet here?
- 24:53Speaker 3: I also didn't know Chris Rock was such a woos
- 24:56Speaker 3: what tough enough dude, It's.
- 24:57Speaker 1: Oh, come on, it's been years.
- 25:00Speaker 3: I'm not saying you got to be best friends with
- 25:02Speaker 3: the guy, but I can't talk to him.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Grow up, dude, I don't know. I still kind of
- 25:06Speaker 2: thank you that was that. I mean, you can forgive
- 25:10Speaker 2: I get it, like he probably forgave him. Yeah, I
- 25:13Speaker 2: just don't think he wants to sit down and have
- 25:15Speaker 2: the conversation because what do you say.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Well, but here's what do you say.
- 25:18Speaker 3: Yeah, here's my thing, though, Chris Rock came out with
- 25:21Speaker 3: a special and addressed the whole thing. So you got
- 25:24Speaker 3: to have your your talk about it. You got to
- 25:27Speaker 3: say what you wanted about it. I just toughen up, dude.
- 25:33Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 25:34Speaker 3: I just agree with you. I guess I've never been
- 25:36Speaker 3: slapped in the face by Will Smith. So it's pretty
- 25:38Speaker 3: easy for today's variety, Big ninety eight point seven, gonna
- 25:44Speaker 3: be a great day.
- 25:45Speaker 2: Some sunshine I have about fifty There is a chance of
- 25:47Speaker 2: an evening shower kind of rolling through, but again beautiful
- 25:50Speaker 2: again tomorrow.
- 25:54Speaker 1: All right, man, you need to take a breath. I know,
- 25:58Speaker 1: I know, I am crazy. I will admit it.
- 26:02Speaker 3: Would you like to share what your predicament is this
- 26:07Speaker 3: morning that you are stressing out about here.
- 26:09Speaker 2: My daughter's six year old birthday party. And I wouldn't
- 26:13Speaker 2: say stressed. I am just so excited about it. So
- 26:17Speaker 2: Sidney Luanne, which is shocking, already going to be six
- 26:20Speaker 2: years old on Sunday, all right, and it just so
- 26:24Speaker 2: happens they have it scheduled, so there's.
- 26:26Speaker 1: No school on Monday. That's beautiful. So in my.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Mind, right when I looked at the calendar about three
- 26:33Speaker 2: months ago. I went, oh, my gosh, perfect. She's never
- 26:36Speaker 2: had a slumber party, never always wanted one. And we
- 26:41Speaker 2: have three or four neighbor girls that are her age,
- 26:45Speaker 2: same grade. They hang out all the time, and they've
- 26:48Speaker 2: always asked to have a slumber party. Oh, she's got
- 26:50Speaker 2: her own little squad. So I am punked. Okay, I
- 26:53Speaker 2: get with the moms. I'm ready, We're locked in. It's
- 26:56Speaker 2: Sunday night, We're having a slumber party at our house.
- 27:00Speaker 2: And now I just feel so stressed because I know
- 27:04Speaker 2: what it was like having a slumber party, and your
- 27:06Speaker 2: first one I don't remember, honestly, but if somebody wants
- 27:10Speaker 2: to go home in the middle of the night, you
- 27:12Speaker 2: know that's gonna happen. Are they, you know, gonna get scared?
- 27:16Speaker 2: Do I need to go sleep down by them? Because
- 27:19Speaker 2: they're only six years old? I mean, there's just so
- 27:21Speaker 2: many questions I have. And then, of course, being the
- 27:24Speaker 2: psycho mom I am, I'm like, okay, what kind of food?
- 27:26Speaker 2: Because they're also going to stay for breakfast and hang
- 27:28Speaker 2: out during the day.
- 27:29Speaker 3: Yeah, you're like prepping the met Gala here, what are
- 27:32Speaker 3: you got going on?
- 27:34Speaker 1: They're kids? Oh, you just get them some pizza and
- 27:36Speaker 1: chicken fingers.
- 27:37Speaker 2: We're not even We're not even on the level of
- 27:40Speaker 2: I already have because it's a slumber party. So I
- 27:42Speaker 2: have these little tents. One of my girlfriends letting me borrow,
- 27:45Speaker 2: so they'll each get their own mattress with a little tent,
- 27:48Speaker 2: and they each get their own little blanket and all
- 27:50Speaker 2: the little party favors. I'm going crazy. But now what
- 27:54Speaker 2: I also have the pressure of am I doing too much?
- 27:57Speaker 2: Because then you said an expectation because she's only six, right,
- 28:01Speaker 2: but she's never really had a birthday party, okay, because
- 28:04Speaker 2: she was a COVID kid, And then she has never
- 28:07Speaker 2: really last year her birthday was over Easter, so she's
- 28:09Speaker 2: always just kind of had a mom and dad and
- 28:11Speaker 2: her brother party.
- 28:12Speaker 1: So I feel like I owe it. She were like
- 28:14Speaker 1: a cool girl. Now I like this. I don't think
- 28:17Speaker 1: you're no, you don't.
- 28:18Speaker 2: You hate everything about it, and you've been razzing me
- 28:20Speaker 2: all morning.
- 28:21Speaker 3: Hate is a strong word. I think there is a
- 28:23Speaker 3: lot of overthinking though. I mean, they are kids, right,
- 28:26Speaker 3: They're resilient. Also, I don't know Jack squat about being
- 28:29Speaker 3: a parent, but I know at our slumber parties. This
- 28:32Speaker 3: was Hey, we throw you downstairs and we'll hope you're
- 28:36Speaker 3: alive tomorrow morning. Is how that went na
