Hillcrest Hate Crimes, National City Surveillance Tower, Hiking Trail Closures
Police are looking for three people who they believe committed hate crime-related vandalism in HIllcrest. Police have installed a new surveillance tower in National City that they hope will decrease crime in the area. Four popular hiking trails in East County are now closed due to this week's heat wave.
