  Tiffany Windsor: I'm Tiffany Windsor and I'm so glad you're here.

  Tiffany Windsor: Sometimes God brings us back to our knees.

  Tiffany Windsor: I have to tell you what happened last night.

  Tiffany Windsor: Now, before I start, let me just say that getting older is a very humbling experience.

  Tiffany Windsor: One day you're hopping over flower beds without thinking twice.

  Tiffany Windsor: The next day your knee decides it has opinions.

  Tiffany Windsor: Mine has this funny little habit of getting out of alignment every once in a while.

  Tiffany Windsor: When it happens, it doesn't hurt, it just locks.

  Tiffany Windsor: And once it's locked, uh it isn't graceful.

  Tiffany Windsor: So I did what I always do.

  Tiffany Windsor: Hopped to the edge of the bed.

  Tiffany Windsor: I rubbed up and down on the outside of my leg exactly the way my chiropractor taught me, and nothing.

  Tiffany Windsor: I tried again.

  Tiffany Windsor: Nothing.

  Tiffany Windsor: I attempted to stretch it a little, still nothing.

  Tiffany Windsor: Now I'm talking to my knee.

  Tiffany Windsor: Come on now, we've got things to do tomorrow.

  Tiffany Windsor: You know you've reached a certain age when you're negotiating with body parts.

  Tiffany Windsor: Finally I stopped and then I remembered.

  Tiffany Windsor: Oh, the thing that usually works is getting down on my knees.

  Tiffany Windsor: Now if you've ever tried getting down on your knees with one knee that doesn't want to cooperate, you know that's a little adventure all by itself.

  Tiffany Windsor: But I eased myself down, knelt there for just a minute, shifted my weight a little, and pop, everything slipped right back into place.

  Tiffany Windsor: Instant relief, I stood up and I took a few steps, stretched my leg, perfect.

  Tiffany Windsor: Then I just stood there because I suddenly realized what had just happened.

  Tiffany Windsor: The thing that brought relief was getting down on my knees, and I thought, Lord, well played.

  Tiffany Windsor: Now let me be clear, I don't think God made my knee lock up just so he could make a sermon illustration.

  Tiffany Windsor: Bodies wear out, some of us are getting older, things happen, but God has this wonderful habit of taking ordinary moments and whispering something extraordinary through them.

  Tiffany Windsor: Standing there I couldn't stop thinking.

  Tiffany Windsor: How many times do I do the exact same thing spiritually?

  Tiffany Windsor: When something feels out of place, I start trying to fix it.

  Tiffany Windsor: I research, I make a list, I read another book, I listen to another podcast, I replay conversations in my head.

  Tiffany Windsor: Standing there I couldn't stop thinking.

  Tiffany Windsor: How many times do I do the exact same thing spiritually?

  Tiffany Windsor: When something feels out of place, I start trying to fix it.

  Tiffany Windsor: I research, I make a list, I read another book, I listen to another podcast.

  Tiffany Windsor: I replay conversations in my head.

  Tiffany Windsor: I try to think my way out of the problem.

  Tiffany Windsor: Anybody else?

  Tiffany Windsor: Or is it just me?

  Tiffany Windsor: Sometimes those steps are wise.

  Tiffany Windsor: God certainly gives us chiropractors and counselors and good books and wise friends.

  Tiffany Windsor: But somewhere along the way we forget the simplest thing.

  Tiffany Windsor: Talk to God first, not last first.

  Tiffany Windsor: This morning after my little knee adventure, I opened up my Bible, and I had one of those moments that only God could arrange.

  Tiffany Windsor: The first verse that jumped off the page was Colossians four two.

  Tiffany Windsor: Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.

  Tiffany Windsor: Not pray after you've tried everything else, not pray if Google can't figure it out.

  Tiffany Windsor: No, devote yourselves to prayer.

  Tiffany Windsor: I sat there thinking, Lord, how often do I treat prayer like the emergency exit instead of the front door?

  Tiffany Windsor: Prayer was never meant to be my last resort.

  Tiffany Windsor: It's supposed to be my first conversation.

  Tiffany Windsor: Then I opened one of the devotional emails I subscribed to, and there it was, Isaiah forty thirty one.

  Tiffany Windsor: Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.

  Tiffany Windsor: They will soar on wings like eagles.
• 4:24
  Tiffany Windsor: That verse has deeply been part of my life for the last year.

  Tiffany Windsor: There was a season when every time I read it, my mind immediately went to one particular business dream.

  Tiffany Windsor: It was impossible not to.
• 4:37
  Tiffany Windsor: But yesterday something different happened.
• 4:40
  Tiffany Windsor: I was peaceful.
• 4:41
  Tiffany Windsor: Not because I thought about a business.
• 4:43
  Tiffany Windsor: I smiled because I thought about God.
• 4:46
  Tiffany Windsor: And that felt like such a sweet gift.

  Tiffany Windsor: It was almost as though God was saying, Tiffany, this verse belonged to me long before it belonged to one of your dreams.

  Tiffany Windsor: His promises are always bigger than our plans.

  Tiffany Windsor: Then Psalm one reminded me The Lord watches over the way of the righteous.

  Tiffany Windsor: I love that.
• 5:10
  Tiffany Windsor: Not just the destination, the way.
• 5:13
  Tiffany Windsor: The ordinary Tuesday, the grocery store, the Bible study, the flower garden.

  Tiffany Windsor: And yes, even the locked knee.

  Tiffany Windsor: God watches over all of it.
• 5:25
  Tiffany Windsor: Lately I've realized something else.
• 5:27
  Tiffany Windsor: Following Jesus isn't usually made up of dramatic mountaintop moments.

  Tiffany Windsor: It's made up of ordinary Tuesdays.

  Tiffany Windsor: Opening our Bible, sending the text, praying for a friend, helping someone who needs encouragement, and getting down on our knees, literally or spiritually.

  Tiffany Windsor: Those are the moments where faith quietly grows.

  Tiffany Windsor: Maybe that's why I love these little seedlings podcasts so much.

  Tiffany Windsor: They're really just conversations about noticing God, noticing him in places we almost missed him.

  Tiffany Windsor: Because once you start looking, you begin to realize he's been there all along.

  Tiffany Windsor: You know I love to encourage you, so before you try one more thing, spend a little time on your knees.

  Tiffany Windsor: Not because prayer is all that's left, but because prayer is always where peace begins.

  Tiffany Windsor: Here's a circle sister prayer for you today.

  Tiffany Windsor: Heavenly Father, thank you for meeting us in ordinary moments.

  Tiffany Windsor: Thank you for reminding us where real strength is found.

  Tiffany Windsor: Teach us to come to you first instead of last.

  Tiffany Windsor: Help us become women whose first response is prayer, whose hearts naturally turn toward you before we turn anywhere else.

  Tiffany Windsor: Thank you for watching over our everyday lives.

  Tiffany Windsor: The quiet Tuesdays, the little victories, the unexpected interruptions, and even the inconveniences that become holy reminders of your presence.
