Transcript
- 0:00We are in the thick of it. We are in the heart of it, of the best time of the
- 0:03year. This is the best time of the year.
- 0:05This is where we get the ball rolling. I was just thinking about this the other day.
- 0:11January through September sucks. January through September sucks.
- 0:16And I will say it. I will say it. What do you all think? Are there people out
- 0:20there that love summer? They love spring?
- 0:23They love the flowers blooming and all that? No, I want card, hold, bonfires, baby.
- 0:30I want s'mores, marshmallows. I want all of it.
- 0:3710, 9, 8, 7. Welcome to the Brandon Fogel Show.
- 0:43Every moment is an electrifying event.
- 0:46This is not just a podcast. It's a revolution of thought. Unfiltered, real and raw.
- 0:52The Brandon Fogel Show. Where excellence meets evolution. Two,
- 0:56one, this is the Brandon Vogel Show.
- 1:09Alright, we got some serious topics to talk about today. As we are nearing the
- 1:14election, election is upon us.
- 1:16Whether we want to believe it or not, whether we want to bury our heads in the
- 1:21sand, it doesn't matter.
- 1:23I hear people out there saying I'm just not going to vote I'm just not going
- 1:28to vote There are two terrible candidates and I don't believe there are two
- 1:33terrible candidates I believe there's one very good candidate and I believe the other one is just.
- 1:41Just kind of got put there, you know? And I wouldn't even say the one that I
- 1:45think is a very good candidate is a good candidate.
- 1:47I think he's just a good president. I think he's a good, he's,
- 1:51he's a person that's going to actually get things done.
- 1:54You know, he's going to get things done. He has a record that we know what he's going to do.
- 1:59We understand what he's going to do. There's no denying it. You might not like the man out there.
- 2:04I personally, I like the man. I'm not going to be, I'm not going to be ashamed
- 2:08or afraid to say it. I like the man.
- 2:10I think he's done amazing things for this country.
- 2:13And I mean, a lot of people out there are going to hate that.
- 2:16A lot of people that listen to that and hear that, that might,
- 2:19you know, there is that derangement, you know, that gets, that happens when
- 2:23people hear that, they don't like that, you know, but I think he's done a wonderful job.
- 2:28You know, I think he's done a, did a wonderful job.
- 2:30There are things that, you know, that you could say he could have done differently,
- 2:34but they, it is what it is.
- 2:36He, there's nothing hidden with him. There's nothing hidden with him.
- 2:40The other candidate, there's just a lot of unknown. There's a lot of unknown.
- 2:45One thing I do like about this, that this is a true decision and it's going
- 2:50to be, it's going to have true lasting ramifications on the direction of this country.
- 2:55It's not going to be boring one way or the other. It's not going to be boring.
- 2:58Whether you go with him or her, you know, he or him or she or her, it doesn't matter.
- 3:04It's going to have true ramifications on where we go as a country.
- 3:08It's not going to be boring.
- 3:09We are going to go in two very different directions based on this election.
- 3:14So there are people I hear out there that say, I'm not going to vote.
- 3:18I'm not even going to hold my nose and vote. I just can't vote.
- 3:21I'm just going to sit it out. I'm going to sit on the sideline.
- 3:25After the last election, I really thought, does your vote even matter?
- 3:31I mean, if you're going to go out there and vote and then people are just going
- 3:33to have a water main break and then just upload hundreds of thousands of votes
- 3:38and everything like that, and then just kind of change like everything.
- 3:42I mean, let's not forget of that, you know, that actually happened,
- 3:46you know, those types of things actually happened, you know,
- 3:49and so it's like, I'm just curious of what's actually going to happen this time,
- 3:53you know, but, you know, that's just what it is.
- 3:57All right, let's talk. I wanted to talk about because of the candidates making
- 4:01their rounds, they've been making the rounds.
- 4:03President Trump, he has been appearing on a lot of podcasts,
- 4:07a lot of podcasts lately, and a lot of very prominent podcasts.
- 4:11And I want to bring this up because as I said, the person I said,
- 4:14don't look at me, Walter. Don't look at me.
- 4:17Joe Rogan. He is my Walter. You know, I don't off.
- 4:20If you've seen Bruce Almighty, you know, Bruce, he gets thrown out on his butt
- 4:23and he's like, don't look at me, Walter.
- 4:26Joe Rogan is that to me. You know, so I have him on my screen.
- 4:29I'm just like, you know, in my worst moments, don't look at me.
- 4:31Don't look at me. Don't look at me.
- 4:33You know, but President Trump, they're in and not only President Trump,
- 4:37but Vice President Kamala Harris is I wouldn't say set.
- 4:43There are things percolating that look to this actually happening,
- 4:50as in Kamala Harris going on Joe Rogan's show and President Trump going on Joe
- 4:55Rogan's show. That would not be boring.
- 4:58If Trump goes on there, that is going to light up the airwaves.
- 5:01That is something people have been waiting. And if you're listening to this
- 5:07right now, if you are on the other side of this, I know you've been waiting.
- 5:10I know you've been waiting. And then you would be, your blood would just be
- 5:14pumping if that actually happened.
- 5:16You know, we saw an amazing kind of conversation get together between President
- 5:22Trump and Elon Musk this past summer. I guess, was it in August?
- 5:26I don't know. It seemed like it was back then, like not too long ago.
- 5:28But like that, like just.
- 5:30Through the roofs, you know, ratings through the roofs, like just astronomical ratings.
- 5:35Can you imagine Trump going and meeting with the king of podcasts?
- 5:41The guy who made it, the guy who like basically created this,
- 5:45this whole arena, this whole, this made it like so popular that people can go on, create podcasts.
- 5:53He made it when it was like nothing and made it extremely something, extremely something.
- 5:58And that's what it is. you know, he is the pioneer.
- 6:01He's the partner. You can say Adam Carolla, Adam Carolla, who I madly respect as well.
- 6:05He kind of fits into that, but I would say him and Joe Rogan,
- 6:08Joe Rogan more so, but like,
- 6:11they are the pioneers of this landscape that we, that this new era of news and
- 6:17just that just has replaced talk radio has replaced people just being a face on the screen.
- 6:24And this is just a new forum that they have just trailblazed.
- 6:27And so I will not, I will not ever just forget about like what Joe Rogan has
- 6:35done, is doing and will do, you know, he is, he is, he is the man, he is the man.
- 6:40And I, I mean, there's not many people that are going to disagree with that.
- 6:46There's not many, but there are some, there are some, so yeah.
- 6:49It is what it is. And just so you know, I am drinking luscious rock star fruit punch, baby.
- 6:57The best in the business. That'll get you fueled up. But it also make you burp. Oh, man.
- 7:03That was a good one. That was a good one, baby. That was a good one.
- 7:06Okay. Let it all hang out.
- 7:08Don't be somebody that's just
- 7:10boring and just sitting back and just like doesn't voice their opinions.
- 7:15Be someone that's real, true to yourself. and like get out there and just like,
- 7:19you know, fight for what you believe in, you know, because if like,
- 7:22if you are just, if you're just sitting back and just letting the world hit
- 7:26you in the face and you're not having a voice to it, you know.
- 7:29You know, shame on you, shame on me when I do that. And I do that a lot.
- 7:33So it's like a lot of shame, double shame on me, double shame on me, triple shame.
- 7:38President Trump, he went on Andrew Schultz's show.
- 7:42Andrew Schultz is huge, baby. he's a big star.
- 7:46He's a big star out there. He's a big mind out there, big podcaster out there
- 7:49that has a megala influence.
- 7:53And he had President Trump on there. I'd like to see Kamala go on in there,
- 7:57but I don't know if that's going to happen.
- 7:59But he had President Trump on there and it seemed like he was, he's a comedian.
- 8:04That's his main thing. He's a comedian. A lot of these guys out there,
- 8:07they're comedians. Joe Rogan himself, he's a comedian.
- 8:11So I do all this to say that with President Trump going on Andrew Schultz's
- 8:15show, it was very, very good.
- 8:18And it seemed like Andrew Schultz, he was pretty fair and balanced for the most part.
- 8:24He seems like he's just an open mind. He's a comedian. He's making comments.
- 8:27And Trump goes off of his show and then he has a week to reflect about it, Andrew Schultz.
- 8:34And he comes away and he says, man, Trump's got this in the bag.
- 8:38And the way he came to that conclusion was based on his just regular life and
- 8:44the people he encountered after he had had Trump on his show,
- 8:47because he had so many people just like, just looking at him and just like,
- 8:51not even saying a word, but just like,
- 8:53yeah, we understand, we get it.
- 8:55And it's like, he had that, just that connection, just that wavelength mind
- 9:00reading with people that he encountered.
- 9:02And he's like, he came away thinking the regular people out there,
- 9:07his friends or entourage or whatever, you know, they might not speak up and say anything for Trump.
- 9:14Most people, you got to be insane to speak up for Trump, you know,
- 9:17unless you're on Fox news or something like that, you got to be insane to speak
- 9:21up for Trump and say any support for him whatsoever.
- 9:25You know, I support him. I support Trump.
- 9:28You know, I think he's, he's done amazing things for this country.
- 9:31You know, you could disagree with some of the things he's done,
- 9:34but at least we, we know who he is.
- 9:37We know where he stands. We know what we're going to get, but like he just meeting
- 9:41regular people out there and had the regular people that Andrew Schultz encountered
- 9:45is just like, he came away thinking.
- 9:47Just that nod, that nod, you know, just, yeah, you, you get it, you get it, you know?
- 9:53And I think, I think there's just that insider knowledge, you know,
- 9:56there's that quiet voter out there, you know, that quiet voter.
- 10:00But like I said, you know, it doesn't matter how many quiet voters out there,
- 10:03you know, if, if things get out of hand, get kind of crazy, you know,
- 10:08and things happen like they have before, who knows what could happen?
- 10:14Who knows? Who knows what, if things, if things aren't fair and run correctly,
- 10:19you know, things could get kind of weird and icky, you know,
- 10:22and I don't want, I don't want the icky.
- 10:24Let's stay away from the icky. Let's have just pure, pure elections,
- 10:28pure, you know, deciding the votes, deciding the will of the people,
- 10:32you know, but I mean, I just don't think, I don't think the Democrats are going
- 10:37to go down without swinging.
- 10:39I think, and I think, I don't know. I don't even want to, I don't even want to go there.
- 10:45But I mean, I think we would have to be stupid if we weren't in tune with what
- 10:52could happen and what has happened.
- 10:55I'm not going to deny the election of the 2020 is what it is.
- 11:00It doesn't even matter at this point.
- 11:02But I'd say just have free, fair elections and let the people decide.
- 11:08Whatever it happens, wherever we go as a nation, let it all come out.
- 11:13Let's not let people like rig or cheat or do something like that, you know?
- 11:18And I think we just need to be vigilant, you know?
- 11:23But I mean, honestly, I mean, if it goes one way or the other,
- 11:25like, you know, c'est la vie, c'est la vie.
- 11:29Let's just like, I mean, I'm just like, let it all burn down, you know?
- 11:33Like if you want, like you want to go one way or the other, let it all burn
- 11:36down. If you want to, if you want to take the direction and take us off a cliff, do it, whatever.
- 11:40At least it ain't going to be boring. It ain't going to be boring one way or the other.
- 11:44And that's something in my life I'm freaking tired of
- 11:48of boring. And I think that that's why in the society that we live in,
- 11:53it has become so mundane.
- 11:58And I think we just like, we've just been, our senses have been dulled, you know?
- 12:03I think that Just the wave of the land is a land you can find.
- 12:13A land you can find. And so as you can see, there are a lot of moving parts,
- 12:20a lot of things happening.
- 12:21I don't know if you all have been watching, but this week Kamala went on Fox
- 12:27News and had an interview with Brett Baer.
- 12:29She, I mean, it wasn't terrible. It wasn't terrible.
- 12:33People but i mean i don't know if i i don't
- 12:36know if i could really take her being our president you
- 12:39know and it's like i i she
- 12:42might just be put there you know she might be put there
- 12:45you know and she might it might happen you know people out there might be
- 12:47voting for i don't know to me it would be a tough thing you
- 12:50know and if if she ends up being our president you
- 12:54know whoever occupies the seat biden he occupies
- 12:57the seat he is the one in charge he is
- 13:00he is an authority he is there put there
- 13:03and but it's like no matter who whoever
- 13:06is there we will we will get by we
- 13:09will get along we will get on we the american dream
- 13:12will continue on but yeah kamala being going on fox news and with brett bear
- 13:16she did she just didn't really answer questions as you like as we all know there's
- 13:22just that funny meme that every time she used to ask her something she just
- 13:25says i grew up in a middle-class family she starts giving her history of where
- 13:29where she come from where her families come from and everything.
- 13:32Kamala Harris is a walking talking point to me. To me, she's a walking talking
- 13:36point and that's why I think it would be so.
- 13:39It's incredible if she goes on Joe Rogan's show. She ain't going to be able
- 13:44to be a talking point for three hours.
- 13:47We are going to actually see who
- 13:48she is. There is something I can't get on board with. I mean, who she is.
- 13:52I mean, that's not going to change as a part of the Democrat Party.
- 13:56You know, there's things about the Democrat Party that like there ain't no way
- 14:00I could ever get on board with, you know, until they would change some things.
- 14:04I mean, if the Democrats changed about abortion, just, I mean,
- 14:09flip that as a thing, you know, that wouldn't, I could almost, I could be a Democrat.
- 14:15I could be a Democrat. It's just like, but it's like their stance on abortion
- 14:20is just so crazy and barbaric. It's insane.
- 14:24It is. It's insane.
- 14:27When that's the thing that they stand on, it's like no way whatsoever,
- 14:30you know? But I still would say I would definitely go more Trump than Kamala Harris by far, by far.
- 14:39I'm a quiet Trump voter, and I'm sure there are a lot of Trump voters that are out there.
- 14:44They're quiet. They're just going to hold their nose and they're going to vote for him.
- 14:47But I mean, for me, before he even became president, I was intrigued by him.
- 14:54For someone that's going to be just open and honest, say what they think,
- 14:58and not be boring. And I guess that's the sickness in me of not wanting something
- 15:05boring. I don't like boring. And nobody does. Nobody likes anything boring.
- 15:09And maybe that's just ingrained in me as growing up in a culture where you have
- 15:14TVs, where you have constant entertainment. You have your mind stimulated every second.
- 15:20And I think as Americans, we've never seen someone like this,
- 15:25like Trump, to be so entertaining, a person that is so entertaining.
- 15:31What's the point of living in America and having freedom if you can't say what you think?
- 15:38We're not on different sides.
- 15:42People can say what they think, you say what you think, and it's like we can meet in the middle.
- 15:46We can hash it out. We can talk it through. We don't have to get pissed off at each other.
- 15:52But I know that that happens because politics is so divisive,
- 15:57you know? And it doesn't need to be.
- 15:58Like, I just live in the world of just, I'm not going to be mad at others that
- 16:04believe something different than I believe, you know?
- 16:07I'm going to just say what I think and what I believe, and I'd love to hear
- 16:10what you think, what you believe, and why do you believe that?
- 16:13Why would you believe abortion is okay?
- 16:18Why would you believe that is, you know, something worth fighting for and something
- 16:23to have as your party line, you know?
- 16:25Like, there's so many, like, more people that you could get on your side if
- 16:31that was just thrown out, if that was just tossed out.
- 16:33Like, it doesn't need to be a thing. I know that might piss a lot of people
- 16:37off, but it's what I think, and what you think is what you think.
- 16:40You know, I'm not going to hate you because of what you think.
- 16:42But I mean, that becomes like the heart of the issue when you,
- 16:46that's what I see, you know, in the two sides, you know?
- 16:49And it's like Republicans, I think both Republicans and Democrats,
- 16:54politicians overall are useless. They're useless.
- 16:57And it is just wrestling. It is just like WWE wrestling. It's a show with a
- 17:04really just playing like the bad guy and a good guy and the bad guy and a good guy.
- 17:09It's a show. It's nothing, you
- 17:11know? but Trump got in there and he just completely disrupted everything.
- 17:15He disrupted everything, turned it all upside down and he just shook it up.
- 17:19He like took a, what are those snow globe or whatever, and just shook it up, you know?
- 17:23And it's just like, everything kind of just went to pieces.
- 17:26Some people just can't take it. Some people can't take, can't take the man.
- 17:30But I think, I think he, I liked him before he became president.
- 17:33I think he did a great job. There are things about after he,
- 17:37I would say, lost. And for me, it wasn't the whole January 6th of that happening.
- 17:44To me, it was almost him not sticking with the people that kind of just fell through.
- 17:52Just everything came down upon him, his supporters. Yeah.
- 17:57But then maybe he was playing 4D chess. He was playing 4D chess because he knew
- 18:01he was going to get back in there.
- 18:03And he is taking care of his supporters. You know, maybe he's taking that long
- 18:07route. But he, so Trump, he's went on to the Andrew Schultz's show.
- 18:11Andrew, that is a tough thing to say. He's gone on there.
- 18:13He's gone on basically every amazing podcast that is out there.
- 18:19And except mine, he hasn't come on mine. You know, you're welcome, President Trump.
- 18:23You know, you're invited. Definitely you're invited. but he's
- 18:26been on almost all the big hitters and he's
- 18:29gearing up I think and he said he's going on there going on
- 18:32Joe Rogan show and the thing I mean to me
- 18:35it's going to light up the airwaves once he goes on Joe Rogan show
- 18:37but what's also very interesting is Kamala Harris saying she's going to go on
- 18:42Joe Rogan show and we haven't heard anything from Rogan at least the last that
- 18:46I've heard he has not even spoken up that's why I'm really interested to see
- 18:50what he has to say on the whole thing of everybody saying he's going these people are going on his show.
- 18:56But I just... Both of them would be fire. It would be entertainment to watch
- 19:01Trump, but it would be very informative and eye-opening for me to see Kamala on there.
- 19:09To see who she is. Because she's not going to be able to hide back on anything.
- 19:14She could maybe do a 30-minute interview. The thing with Bret Baier was like
- 19:17almost maybe 20 minutes. I don't even know. Not too long. You can't really...
- 19:22Pin down who somebody really is in that timeframe. And I think she's done a
- 19:26lot of just able to be a person that puts on a face for the camera,
- 19:33as opposed to seeing who she really is.
- 19:36And I'm really curious to see who she really is.
- 19:39But I mean, you could say that her policy is who she really is and the things
- 19:44that she was before, because her policies have completely flipped since she
- 19:50was vice president to now running for president.
- 19:52Her policies are completely all over the place and turned upside down and almost
- 19:57reflecting Trump's policies.
- 19:59So I'm very curious to see her going on on Rogan's show because the veil will
- 20:06be lifted. We will see behind the curtain.
- 20:08We will see behind the curtain. It will be very eye-opening.
- 20:12So either way, this election has been, this whole cycle has been fire.
- 20:17And if Trump loses, things are going to get boring.
- 20:21Things are going to get boring in the political arena. Because he will,
- 20:25I think, ride off into the sunset if he loses.
- 20:29But I don't think he's going to lose. I don't think Trump is going to lose, honestly.
- 20:34I think he's going to win. It just doesn't feel like he's going to lose.
- 20:37It feels like he's going to win unless things get dicey.
- 20:42Unless things get dicey and the Democrats pull something out their sleeve.
- 20:47To me, I just don't see truly a lot of Harris voters coming out to vote for her.
- 20:55I just, I don't see it. It would just have to be of, of hating Trump enough
- 21:00to go out and vote for her because she doesn't really have a record.
- 21:03And the only record she has, if she does is the whole Biden record the last three and a half years.
- 21:10So it's like, and she can't stand on that.
- 21:12So she's like caught between a rock and a hard place and she's not showing who she really is.
- 21:17And she's almost saying she's not disavowing what she was under Biden's regime.
- 21:23And she was right alongside with all the choices that were made.
- 21:26So it's like, I think a lot of things are going to happen.
- 21:30That October surprise, it has not happened. The October surprise might be Joe Rogan.
- 21:36So I'll leave it at that. I hope you all have a wonderful day.
- 21:40And, you know, stay safe out there. Stay safe. I'll see you all later.
- 21:44Music.
