- 0:14Speaker 3: a lot of public service stuff.
- 0:15Speaker 4: Rich Valdez commnist now with the Washington Times.
- 0:18Speaker 3: This is America, Richiev.
- 0:20Speaker 5: You're on the air with the Nation.
- 0:21Speaker 3: Of the Nation with America with your host, Rich Valdez.
- 0:26Speaker 5: What's up, America.
- 0:27Speaker 4: I am Rich Valdes valdeest with an s on all
- 0:30Speaker 4: of the social media. You're liberty loving Latino amigo right
- 0:33Speaker 4: here kicking off Sinco de Mayo my birthday seventeen blocks
- 0:39Speaker 4: away from Madison Square Garden here in New York City,
- 0:42Speaker 4: Times Square.
- 0:43Speaker 5: Blessed to be back with each and every one.
- 0:44Speaker 4: I use my late night fun media and it's the
- 0:47Speaker 4: Tuesday night edition of This Is America, which is our
- 0:50Speaker 4: late night national town hall conversation. I want you to
- 0:52Speaker 4: call the show with your opinion, your thoughts, anything you
- 0:55Speaker 4: got for me. Eight seven seven Valdez one, eight seven
- 0:57Speaker 4: seven Valdez one, and of course that's eight seven eight
- 1:00Speaker 4: twenty five thirty three seventy one, and you get to
- 1:03Speaker 4: sound off and if you have been calling, I apologize
- 1:05Speaker 4: if you're not able to effectively leave your voice note
- 1:08Speaker 4: or your voice message. I saw I had a couple
- 1:10Speaker 4: of calls that it looked like there was a message,
- 1:12Speaker 4: but when we tried to actually listen to it, we couldn't.
- 1:15Speaker 5: So I encourage you to try again.
- 1:17Speaker 4: If that didn't work out for you the first time around,
- 1:19Speaker 4: maybe you were on mute, maybe there was a malfunction.
- 1:20Speaker 4: I don't know, but I do always want to hear
- 1:23Speaker 4: the interactive conversation from across the country, So looking forward
- 1:28Speaker 4: to that anyway. Like I said, Sinko that Mayo, my
- 1:31Speaker 4: birthday is my forty eighth birthday. I want to kick
- 1:34Speaker 4: it off with a little personal note. I spent some
- 1:36Speaker 4: time with Faminia. I went out to dinner with my
- 1:40Speaker 4: two daughters. My daughter who lives out of state, came
- 1:43Speaker 4: to visit me, my younger daughter. They're only four years apart,
- 1:46Speaker 4: twenty one and twenty five, so they enjoyed me. Enjoyed
- 1:52Speaker 4: Taco Tuesday with me, I should say, And we were
- 1:55Speaker 4: at this really cool Mexican place. Service honestly wasn't fantastic.
- 2:00Speaker 4: I had a couple of complaints. Honestly, if anybody was asking.
- 2:03Speaker 4: So I won't recommend that place, but it was a
- 2:06Speaker 4: good time. The food was good, the ambiance was I'd
- 2:10Speaker 4: say about sixty five seventy percent. It could have been better,
- 2:12Speaker 4: but we didn't have a good seat, and overall, wonderful
- 2:16Speaker 4: time with my kids, right, because that's truly what matters
- 2:19Speaker 4: most in life, I think for many of us, is
- 2:21Speaker 4: spending time with the people we love. And it would
- 2:23Speaker 4: have probably been a little bigger celebration had it been
- 2:25Speaker 4: closer to the weekend. But with a single that Maia,
- 2:28Speaker 4: falling on a Tuesday, you get Tuesday, you know, Taco
- 2:31Speaker 4: Tuesday activities.
- 2:32Speaker 5: And it really was a good time.
- 2:33Speaker 4: So I'm grateful to my children, grateful to God to
- 2:37Speaker 4: be here for another trip around the Sun forty eight
- 2:39Speaker 4: years now. I want to get into a couple other
- 2:43Speaker 4: things that are going on in the news cycle right.
- 2:46Speaker 4: Things are heating up faster than that pernil in the cajachina.
- 2:49Speaker 5: Right. If you know what that is, you know what
- 2:51Speaker 5: that is.
- 2:51Speaker 4: If not, it's a roasted pork shoulder made in a
- 2:54Speaker 4: you know, an outdoor rotisserie, like like a good old
- 2:57Speaker 4: fashioned pig roast. But overseas we've seen a lot of
- 3:01Speaker 4: things going on, right, there's a lot going on. I
- 3:03Speaker 4: want to start with a little bit of the international stuff,
- 3:04Speaker 4: and i'll give you some audio on that in a moment.
- 3:06Speaker 5: Then we'll pivot to a couple other things.
- 3:08Speaker 4: But Defense Secretary or i should say Secretary of War
- 3:12Speaker 4: Pete Hegseth laid out the details on Operation Project Freedom.
- 3:17Speaker 5: We're going to get to that in a moment.
- 3:18Speaker 4: But there was a mission to reopen the strait up
- 3:20Speaker 4: Hormuz for commercial shipping and push back against the Iranian
- 3:23Speaker 4: aggression trying to collect these tolls aggressively or attack these
- 3:28Speaker 4: ships from the shores that they've been doing for a
- 3:31Speaker 4: generation through their proxies the Houthi rebels and some of
- 3:36Speaker 4: the ships have already made it through safely with US escorts,
- 3:39Speaker 4: but there's still thousands of ships that are stuck trying
- 3:45Speaker 4: to get through. And this is a focused, temporary operation
- 3:49Speaker 4: to protect innocent commerce, right, not the bad guys trying
- 3:54Speaker 4: to illegally smuggle gasoline or oil out of Iran to
- 3:59Speaker 4: Chin or wherever.
- 4:00Speaker 5: These are the people.
- 4:01Speaker 4: They're just trying to make it through the straight and
- 4:03Speaker 4: that's what the United States Navy is. They're trying to
- 4:06Speaker 4: ensure continues freely free trade now right on q Iran's
- 4:12Speaker 4: Foreign minister Abbas a Ragshi. He's out on all the media, right,
- 4:17Speaker 4: He's out there campaigning on MSNBC or ms now as
- 4:22Speaker 4: it's called, on ABC News, all the other places that
- 4:24Speaker 4: they go when he does the Sunday shows and his
- 4:27Speaker 4: special appearances. And now he's floating the idea of a
- 4:30Speaker 4: possible deal. We'll see if that turns into a real deal.
- 4:33Speaker 4: He had a lot to say with Joe Scarborough. I
- 4:36Speaker 4: got a clip on that gott to play for you.
- 4:38Speaker 4: And the Trump people are saying, look, we're willing to
- 4:40Speaker 4: make a deal, no enriched uranium, no nuclear bomb. And
- 4:45Speaker 4: I think that's where they keep stalling. And these guys,
- 4:47Speaker 4: you know, they put on a good song and dance
- 4:49Speaker 4: in my opinion, but I don't think anything major is
- 4:51Speaker 4: happening until it happens, and we might be on the
- 4:53Speaker 4: cusp of something, honestly. Then we got the Chairman of
- 4:56Speaker 4: the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Dan Kine, Raisin Caine, right,
- 5:01Speaker 4: that's a Trump calls him Raisin Caine. He dropped a
- 5:04Speaker 4: couple of sobering numbers that during that same briefing, twenty
- 5:08Speaker 4: two thousand marines on over fifteen hundred commercial vessels are
- 5:11Speaker 4: essentially trapped in the region because of all the chaos.
- 5:14Speaker 4: Our military's ready locked and loaded if needed. They're keeping
- 5:18Speaker 4: the option open. This is moving quickly. There's been a
- 5:21Speaker 4: lot of up and down and fluidity to these situations.
- 5:24Speaker 5: So they will be free. You know, that's not a question.
- 5:28Speaker 5: It's doctor hostage.
- 5:29Speaker 4: It's just the the traffic pattern, for lack of a
- 5:34Speaker 4: better word, and.
- 5:35Speaker 5: Close to the home.
- 5:36Speaker 4: Here in New York City, things got ugly outside the
- 5:39Speaker 4: Park East Synagogue on the up each side protesters, you know,
- 5:43Speaker 4: the cafea wearing masked quote unquote protesters. They show up
- 5:48Speaker 4: for a real estate event that was tied to Israel.
- 5:51Speaker 4: It turned into a clash with police pushing the barricades.
- 5:54Speaker 4: You know, peaceful protest, chaotic chance, lots of tension, and
- 6:00Speaker 4: this type of targeted aggression and disrupting a house of worship,
- 6:05Speaker 4: in my opinion, has no place in our society. Imagine
- 6:08Speaker 4: if they were doing this sat a Catholic church. Imagine
- 6:10Speaker 4: if they were doing this like they did, you know,
- 6:12Speaker 4: like Don Lemon did, right, he started a trend and listen.
- 6:16Speaker 4: They've been doing this to synagogue in New York as
- 6:18Speaker 4: long as I can remember, honestly, maybe not to this
- 6:21Speaker 4: level with this many people, but the Jews have always
- 6:24Speaker 4: been targeted for their faith, and it's always been disgusting.
- 6:27Speaker 5: In my opinion, they shouldn't be let people pray the
- 6:30Speaker 5: way they want.
- 6:30Speaker 4: There's a lot of people that don't agree with someone
- 6:32Speaker 4: else's faith, and it doesn't mean we go outside your
- 6:35Speaker 4: house of worship and start protesting you.
- 6:38Speaker 5: Is that you're right? Sure? Does that make you a douche? Absolutely?
- 6:42Speaker 5: Who does that right?
- 6:44Speaker 4: And the cops instead of using pepper spray or batons
- 6:47Speaker 4: to these people that are pushing these steel barricades on
- 6:49Speaker 4: top of the police, and the police are pushing them back,
- 6:52Speaker 4: talking about five, ten, fifteen cops pushing barricades against twenty five, thirty,
- 6:57Speaker 4: forty fifty people. Instead of esque the force, which in
- 7:01Speaker 4: my opinion and the use of force guidelines that I've
- 7:03Speaker 4: read and understood, I would say, they should have used
- 7:07Speaker 4: some pepper spray, They should have used anything to escalate
- 7:11Speaker 4: the force to make this stop.
- 7:13Speaker 5: But they didn't.
- 7:14Speaker 4: They pushed, they pushed back, They pushed, they pushed back.
- 7:17Speaker 4: Guess what the bad guys figured out, and in this case,
- 7:19Speaker 4: the protesters are the bad guys, whether they're within their
- 7:22Speaker 4: rights or not. You don't get to go and start
- 7:25Speaker 4: pushing the cops around because you want to start yelling.
- 7:27Speaker 5: Whose streets are streets? Whose streets or streets?
- 7:31Speaker 4: I say, get the f out of here with that one,
- 7:33Speaker 4: you know, with all due respect, right part of the French.
- 7:36Speaker 5: But that's how that goes. You don't get to do that.
- 7:39Speaker 4: Everybody should be able to worship peacefully, whether it's in
- 7:42Speaker 4: their musteed, their mosque, their synagogue, their church, temple wherever.
- 7:48Speaker 5: I mean? Am I wrong here? Don't?
- 7:50Speaker 4: Aren't we supposed to have decency and you know, love
- 7:53Speaker 4: for our fellow man. Isn't that something that at least
- 7:55Speaker 4: the Abrahamic faiths are supposed to to share.
- 7:59Speaker 5: But now not when it's the Jews.
- 8:00Speaker 6: Not.
- 8:01Speaker 4: The Jews don't get to pray, they don't get to
- 8:03Speaker 4: have peace, They get to be shouted upon, disrupted, all
- 8:10Speaker 4: sorts of aggression. And you know, you got to call
- 8:12Speaker 4: a spade a spade. This isn't cool. And quite frankly,
- 8:16Speaker 4: we know exactly who's doing it right. It's usually a
- 8:18Speaker 4: bunch of college educated liberals that have nothing better to
- 8:23Speaker 4: do but go after the latest thing that they're upset
- 8:25Speaker 4: about today. They're upset about this. Last week it was
- 8:28Speaker 4: I saw are You Iceantai Ice?
- 8:30Speaker 5: The one guy.
- 8:30Speaker 4: I don't know if you heard that video. I wish
- 8:32Speaker 4: I had the audio for that. Hey, guys, if we
- 8:34Speaker 4: can get it, it would be great. Listen to this. The
- 8:36Speaker 4: guy is walking by and this woman, a very large woman,
- 8:39Speaker 4: large unattractive woman, with another older, unattractive woman. Just for
- 8:43Speaker 4: the sake of you understanding my story, I'm pointing this out,
- 8:46Speaker 4: they pull up to a guy who's on the street.
- 8:48Speaker 4: He's taping them. They're taping him and they're in a
- 8:52Speaker 4: car and they're like, are you Ice? And he's like,
- 8:54Speaker 4: what are you with Ice? And he's like, I don't
- 8:59Speaker 4: know you're talking about. And she says, do you work
- 9:03Speaker 4: for Ice? And he says, I don't have no ice.
- 9:06Speaker 4: I'm not even drinking anything. It was great. It was
- 9:10Speaker 4: a Who's on First? It was a real life who's
- 9:12Speaker 4: on first? Then he started busting their stones a little bit,
- 9:15Speaker 4: but it really really was funny. And if I can
- 9:17Speaker 4: find that audio, I definitely will play it for you.
- 9:20Speaker 4: But you might have seen it anyway on social media.
- 9:23Speaker 4: But this is what's going on. And you know they
- 9:25Speaker 4: do this because they know that they can, they can
- 9:29Speaker 4: turn public safety upside down on its head and get
- 9:32Speaker 4: away with it. Meanwhile, when it comes to hardworking people,
- 9:38Speaker 4: you me, everybody else trying to get back and forth
- 9:41Speaker 4: to work, We're the ones getting squeezed with congestion pricing. Right,
- 9:45Speaker 4: the sixteen dollars toll to get into Manhattan, the congestion
- 9:50Speaker 4: pricing which I think brings it up to twenty nine
- 9:52Speaker 4: dollars during peak hours. You got police cracking down now
- 9:55Speaker 4: on license plate covers and the frames that go around
- 9:59Speaker 4: your license plate because why because they want to collect money.
- 10:04Speaker 5: Why because easy pass, in.
- 10:05Speaker 4: My opinion, is a scam, because why they seem to
- 10:09Speaker 4: let real street thugs get a pass all too often.
- 10:13Speaker 4: And this is not a critique on the police, because
- 10:15Speaker 4: the police and for maybe if the shoe fits, feel
- 10:18Speaker 4: free to wear it. But this is you know, the
- 10:20Speaker 4: police are going to turn to me all but rich.
- 10:22Speaker 4: You don't understand that they got our hands tied, right
- 10:24Speaker 4: and then and then the unions are going to say,
- 10:27Speaker 4: oh yeah, look it's the administration.
- 10:28Speaker 5: It's Ma'm Donnie, it's whole cool.
- 10:29Speaker 4: They're they're you know, they're they're out here using us
- 10:32Speaker 4: as poets to do whatever and then Mamdani and whatever,
- 10:34Speaker 4: and they're gonna and everybody has someone else to blame.
- 10:38Speaker 4: And look, I get it, and I understand why NYPD's
- 10:42Speaker 4: losing a thousand plus officers a month and they're going
- 10:45Speaker 4: to places like Vegas and they're going to places like Florida.
- 10:49Speaker 5: I do get it.
- 10:50Speaker 4: And you guess what, I applaud each and every one
- 10:52Speaker 4: of you because there's one philosophy that says, hey, stay
- 10:57Speaker 4: and fight the good fight. Be the difference, which is
- 11:00Speaker 4: there's one that sounds respectable on his face, but in reality,
- 11:03Speaker 4: what are you gonna do.
- 11:05Speaker 5: You're gonna lock up.
- 11:05Speaker 4: Every last bad guy and then they're gonna get cut
- 11:08Speaker 4: loose and they're gonna go to a judge, and a
- 11:10Speaker 4: judge is not going to enforce the laws. And that's it.
- 11:13Speaker 4: That's what's happening left and right in New York City.
- 11:16Speaker 4: This truly, at where we are, is a lost cause.
- 11:20Speaker 4: Is there saving it?
- 11:22Speaker 5: I don't know. I wish, I wish I had a
- 11:25Speaker 5: better message for you guys.
- 11:26Speaker 4: I wish I could say you know if there were
- 11:29Speaker 4: a Rudy Giuliani available right now, and praise God, he's
- 11:32Speaker 4: doing really well, cracking jokes. I got a text from
- 11:35Speaker 4: Andrew Giuliani and he said that he's cracking jokes.
- 11:39Speaker 5: He's breathing on his own. He's doing great.
- 11:41Speaker 4: So amen, I'm happy to hear the prayers of Americans
- 11:45Speaker 4: like you that went out for Mayor Giuliani were answered.
- 11:48Speaker 5: But what is one to do?
- 11:52Speaker 4: Right The cops are leaving because they have to take
- 11:54Speaker 4: care of their families, and they're quite frankly, they're saying,
- 11:57Speaker 4: I'm not going to be a part of the Mumdani stoppo.
- 12:00Speaker 4: I'm not going to be a part of hokuls brown shirts.
- 12:03Speaker 5: I'm not going to do it.
- 12:04Speaker 4: And I respect that because sticking around for a pension
- 12:08Speaker 4: and a paycheck to go ahead and execute their plan
- 12:12Speaker 4: doesn't sound like a good deal. You know, you got
- 12:15Speaker 4: people that are driving across bridges and tunnels and when
- 12:18Speaker 4: they get out on the other side, they're being pulled
- 12:20Speaker 4: over because they have a plastic license plate frame. And
- 12:23Speaker 4: someone's going to push back on me and say, but Rich,
- 12:25Speaker 4: if you know those things that are not lawful, then
- 12:27Speaker 4: you shouldn't have one. But let's be real here, everybody
- 12:30Speaker 4: has one, and they've had one forever and a day.
- 12:35Speaker 4: So if they've been around forever. And I'm not trying
- 12:37Speaker 4: to normalize sin per se or normalize the you know,
- 12:41Speaker 4: the breaking of the rules. I'm just saying these things
- 12:43Speaker 4: were always okay. Nobody was getting pulled over for these things.
- 12:46Speaker 4: Now they are. So you can make the argument and say,
- 12:49Speaker 4: well that is because you know, one bad apple ruined
- 12:53Speaker 4: it for everybody else maybe, Or you could say they
- 12:56Speaker 4: figured out if we use these officers rather than eppor
- 13:00Speaker 4: spraying and billy clubbing these vicious protesters outside the synagogue,
- 13:05Speaker 4: and we put them on the end of the bridge
- 13:08Speaker 4: at the end of the highway and pull over every
- 13:09Speaker 4: last person with a license plate cover or that is
- 13:12Speaker 4: missing a front license plate but has their back license plate,
- 13:16Speaker 4: then we can go and give these people tickets and
- 13:19Speaker 4: we can get money from them, and that can bring
- 13:22Speaker 4: us millions and millions of dollars. And what do the
- 13:25Speaker 4: Democrats that are in power, because there really aren't any
- 13:27Speaker 4: Republicans at all, what do they These politicians love. They
- 13:31Speaker 4: love money, They love money, and they love money that
- 13:34Speaker 4: they didn't earn right. The government doesn't create anything. It's
- 13:38Speaker 4: not like they do anything to get this money other
- 13:40Speaker 4: than take it from you. So I stick with the
- 13:44Speaker 4: word on this one. Right, render on to Caesar what
- 13:47Speaker 4: is Caesar's and render unto God what is gone. So, yes,
- 13:49Speaker 4: we have to follow the rules. Yes, I have had
- 13:52Speaker 4: one of those license plate covers which looked I thought
- 13:54Speaker 4: kind of cool, and took it off because I got
- 13:57Speaker 4: pulled over by one of these license plate reading guys
- 14:00Speaker 4: that pulled me over as if I was, you know,
- 14:03Speaker 4: working with the Iranians. They treat you like an absolute criminal.
- 14:07Speaker 4: I think it's excessive. I think it's not cool. I
- 14:09Speaker 4: think it's a poor representation of how officers should interact
- 14:13Speaker 4: with the community. But you know their response is going
- 14:16Speaker 4: to be I thought you were going to kill me.
- 14:17Speaker 4: I thought I was going to die. I thought, And listen,
- 14:19Speaker 4: I understand. But I have to say, having had law
- 14:22Speaker 4: enforcement people in my family for ever and myself having
- 14:27Speaker 4: gone through some law enforcement training, all I could say is,
- 14:30Speaker 4: maybe this isn't the job for you. If you're constantly
- 14:34Speaker 4: living in fear and understanding the threat exists and living
- 14:38Speaker 4: in fear are two different things. Respecting people, respecting their rights,
- 14:44Speaker 4: respecting the Constitution that you took an oath to uphold.
- 14:48Speaker 4: These things are paramount to doing the job well. When somebody,
- 14:53Speaker 4: you know, when a cop comes to you and says
- 14:55Speaker 4: something like, hey, do me a favorite, can you do whatever?
- 14:56Speaker 4: You got whatever, and they're asking a question, you say,
- 15:00Speaker 4: with all due respect, I'm I'm not going to make
- 15:02Speaker 4: this easier for you, sir. I don't want to give
- 15:04Speaker 4: you a hard time, but I'm not going to put myself.
- 15:06Speaker 4: I'm not going to jam myself up either. They have
- 15:09Speaker 4: no choice but to respect that.
- 15:10Speaker 2: Now.
- 15:10Speaker 4: They can keep trying and pushing and trying for you
- 15:13Speaker 4: to incriminate yourself somehow, but the reality is you shouldn't.
- 15:17Speaker 4: You shouldn't be incriminating yourself. They should say, oh, look,
- 15:20Speaker 4: this guy knows he's right. So you know what, have
- 15:22Speaker 4: a good day, sir, be careful or you know, slow
- 15:24Speaker 4: down or whatever it is they want to tell you.
- 15:26Speaker 4: But let's stop busting the stones of people that are
- 15:29Speaker 4: working for a living and hitting them over the head
- 15:32Speaker 4: with whatever. A fifty dollars ticket, two hundred dollars ticket,
- 15:34Speaker 4: three hundred dollars ticket, I just paid fifteen hundred dollars
- 15:37Speaker 4: in parking tickets in New York City. And if you
- 15:40Speaker 4: think that is me not paying tickets because I'm getting
- 15:44Speaker 4: so many, No, that was five tickets, five for different
- 15:49Speaker 4: appearances I had to do at Newsma's TV, which were
- 15:53Speaker 4: not long in length. But you know, the meter runs out,
- 15:56Speaker 4: you get a ticket, got it?
- 15:57Speaker 5: That was on me.
- 15:58Speaker 4: But it's a one hundred and ninety five dollars for
- 16:03Speaker 4: the ticket. I mean, now you tell me, it's kind
- 16:06Speaker 4: of two ninety five. And these tickets are obscene the
- 16:09Speaker 4: amount of money that they charge you. It's not a
- 16:11Speaker 4: eight dollars or fifty dollars or twenty five dollars. It's
- 16:15Speaker 4: an absorbitant amount of money. So they're out there getting
- 16:18Speaker 4: on you and if you don't pay it, then they'll
- 16:19Speaker 4: take you to jail. So imagine that having a jail
- 16:21Speaker 4: filled with people like, oh, I forgot to put a
- 16:23Speaker 4: quarter in the meter.
- 16:24Speaker 5: That's what What do you went for?
- 16:25Speaker 7: Murder?
- 16:26Speaker 5: What are you went for rape? What are you went
- 16:27Speaker 5: for meters? I didn't pay the meter.
- 16:31Speaker 4: It's a wild scenario that's going on in New York.
- 16:34Speaker 4: And to sit there and say, well, you should have
- 16:36Speaker 4: rendered on to Caesar. What was Caesar's. I mean, at
- 16:38Speaker 4: some point you have to say, I think Caesar's asking
- 16:39Speaker 4: for some crazy stuff.
- 16:41Speaker 5: It's just my opinion. Maybe I'm wrong. We'll find out. Anyway.
- 16:45Speaker 5: There is more to come.
- 16:45Speaker 4: We're going to get the audio on all those things,
- 16:47Speaker 4: from Hegseth to Trump signaling that there might be an
- 16:51Speaker 4: Iranian deal to everything else. Plus there's a few people
- 16:54Speaker 4: that I enjoy listening to on social media doing man
- 16:58Speaker 4: on the street interviews, you know, asking simple questions of
- 17:01Speaker 4: people that are espouse liberal logic and getting their take
- 17:06Speaker 4: on things, and those are always fun to listen to.
- 17:08Speaker 4: So we're gonna check out a couple those. All right,
- 17:10Speaker 4: keep it locked right here. I am rich Valdez Sinco,
- 17:12Speaker 4: the Mayo, my forty eighth birthday. I'm coming right back.
- 17:14Speaker 4: Don't go anywhere.
- 17:16Speaker 7: This is America.
- 17:30Speaker 3: This is America. He's brown, he's bald, and he's breaking
- 17:34Speaker 3: it down.
- 17:35Speaker 5: Oh he's still has some what's his.
- 17:37Speaker 3: Day, Rich Valdez?
- 17:39Speaker 4: All right for Amedia, Welcome back, Rich Valdez Sinco. Then
- 17:42Speaker 4: Mayo Tuesday night, and I want to get into this
- 17:46Speaker 4: stuff with President Trump, of course, responding to the Iranians
- 17:52Speaker 4: and their claims of you know, we're willing, We're not willing.
- 17:56Speaker 4: All sorts of things are going on. I got a
- 17:57Speaker 4: bunch of clips here, so work with me here. But
- 18:00Speaker 4: one here, let's see, this is President Trump. This one
- 18:04Speaker 4: I think is probably the most recent one to give
- 18:06Speaker 4: you the best flavor of what's going on. And then
- 18:09Speaker 4: I guess I'll work backwards right so that here, this
- 18:11Speaker 4: is what Trump said most recently, and then and then
- 18:15Speaker 4: I'll play you what the foreign minister had to say,
- 18:18Speaker 4: because again it's the back and forth, right, the usual
- 18:21Speaker 4: back and forth. But I think we got this clip
- 18:23Speaker 4: lined up. Let's go with El Trumpito in the Oval office,
- 18:27Speaker 4: surrounded by a bunch of school kids, explaining what was
- 18:29Speaker 4: going on with the run.
- 18:31Speaker 8: We just broke every record, and now we're going to
- 18:34Speaker 8: take a hit because we have to make a journey
- 18:36Speaker 8: down to Iran to take the nuclear weapon. They would
- 18:39Speaker 8: have had a nuclear weapon and within two weeks, remember
- 18:43Speaker 8: we sent that beautiful be two bomber in and we
- 18:47Speaker 8: blew up their nuclear potential. It was obliterated for those
- 18:51Speaker 8: that are not aware, and to a point where they
- 18:55Speaker 8: it would take them weeks to dig down, and we
- 18:57Speaker 8: wouldn't let them dig down we have our rise on
- 18:59Speaker 8: a roll. But it was a very important thing. So
- 19:03Speaker 8: we would have had a and Iran with a nuclear weapon,
- 19:08Speaker 8: and maybe we wouldn't all be here right now. I
- 19:11Speaker 8: can tell you the Middle East would have been gone,
- 19:13Speaker 8: Israel would have been gone, and they would have trained
- 19:15Speaker 8: their sights on Europe first and then us because they're
- 19:19Speaker 8: sick people. These are sick people, and we're not going
- 19:22Speaker 8: to let lunatics have a nuclear weapon. The power of
- 19:26Speaker 8: a nuclear weapon is something I don't even want to
- 19:29Speaker 8: talk about.
- 19:30Speaker 5: It's not going to happen. And we have beaten them badly,
- 19:35Speaker 5: beaten them badly. We would have beaten them badly.
- 19:39Speaker 4: Now that's President Trump telling this the school kids again.
- 19:42Speaker 4: This is the subtle diplomacy that he's using from the
- 19:44Speaker 4: bully pulpit of the White House. Right this his back channels,
- 19:47Speaker 4: his phone calls, letting them know when he yells at
- 19:50Speaker 4: the Ranians, as he says, they only say I have
- 19:52Speaker 4: to yell.
- 19:53Speaker 5: I gotta yea.
- 19:53Speaker 4: But whatever he's doing, he's getting it done. Nobody said
- 19:57Speaker 4: this was going to be easy. I mean, he said
- 19:58Speaker 4: it would be easy to end the war with Ukraine.
- 20:01Speaker 4: Right twenty four hours rushed in ukrainated twenty four hours
- 20:04Speaker 4: that one has proved not to be accurate, right, and
- 20:08Speaker 4: I got it, and thankfully lesson that he learned, and
- 20:11Speaker 4: you could tell he's growing from this. He's not saying
- 20:14Speaker 4: this one's going to be easy, but he's getting success.
- 20:18Speaker 5: Right.
- 20:18Speaker 4: This is I think a tremendous step in the right direction.
- 20:21Speaker 4: The ceasefire is pretty much in place. I know that
- 20:23Speaker 4: there's naysayers out there, and anytime you hear that somebody
- 20:26Speaker 4: fired a gun or this or that or something happened
- 20:29Speaker 4: that I guess in the common sensical world of people
- 20:34Speaker 4: who don't do this type of thing right, they're not
- 20:36Speaker 4: involved in diplomacy and wars. They think you shoot this
- 20:40Speaker 4: and you shoot that, then that's that you broke the ceasefire. Right,
- 20:43Speaker 4: it's a ceasefire, not allowed to shoot. But they're talking
- 20:45Speaker 4: about major military operations that have ceased and they're not firing.
- 20:49Speaker 4: They're big guns, they're not actively engaged in this hot
- 20:54Speaker 4: war stuff. And that's held, you know, as loosely as
- 20:58Speaker 4: it can. But doesn't mean they're not going to push
- 20:59Speaker 4: with boats. They're not going to push over here, they're
- 21:02Speaker 4: not going to try and do that. Does I mean,
- 21:03Speaker 4: the Navy's not going to board a couple of vessels
- 21:05Speaker 4: that might be acting like knuckleheads, right, so you know
- 21:07Speaker 4: they're they're ruffling a few feathers, but it has largely
- 21:13Speaker 4: been held intact. And Marco Rubio and Pete Hegseth also
- 21:17Speaker 4: weighing in on this. Let me see who do we
- 21:19Speaker 4: go to first? Because I have a few good ones
- 21:21Speaker 4: here I want to play for you.
- 21:23Speaker 5: Let's you know what. I want to go straight to.
- 21:27Speaker 4: The not Prime Minister, the Foreign Minister of Iran, mister
- 21:31Speaker 4: Araghi a bass Araghi, because he was on with Morning Joe,
- 21:35Speaker 4: former Republican Congressman Joe Scarborough, and he, you know, like usual,
- 21:43Speaker 4: sitting there smiling, smugly, just like Zara Mumdani if you will,
- 21:48Speaker 4: And he decided to say, look, look, we're always willing
- 21:52Speaker 4: to make a deal with problems. Every time we make
- 21:54Speaker 4: a deal, Trump hits us, he fires on us, he
- 21:57Speaker 4: breaks the rules, he breaks the deal, and you know,
- 22:00Speaker 4: we're just we're we're respectful people and we want to
- 22:04Speaker 4: be we want to be dealt with respectfully.
- 22:07Speaker 5: Listen to this.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Trump often watches this show. He may not admit it,
- 22:12Speaker 2: but he often watches the show as two members of
- 22:15Speaker 2: the Senate and the House.
- 22:16Speaker 5: That's funny, Joe, because Trump admitted listening to my show,
- 22:19Speaker 5: and that his team listens to my show, why would
- 22:23Speaker 5: he secretly listen to you? Jos Garborough? Anyway, go ahead.
- 22:27Speaker 2: I'm curious before you go, what would your message be
- 22:30Speaker 2: to the President and the members of Congress.
- 22:33Speaker 3: The message is that.
- 22:36Speaker 9: Previous US administrations, even the current of US administration, have
- 22:42Speaker 9: de troed almost everything against us a war, you know.
- 22:48Speaker 10: Sanctions, snap back everything, but none of them work. If
- 22:56Speaker 10: you talk with the Iranian people with the language of respect,
- 23:01Speaker 10: we respond with the same language. But if they talked
- 23:05Speaker 10: to us with the language of force, we will reciprocate
- 23:09Speaker 10: with the same language. I think ir Onions have proved
- 23:12Speaker 10: to be very proud people. They only respond to the
- 23:16Speaker 10: language of respect. So and this is the way that
- 23:20Speaker 10: they can talk to us, and they would see the result.
- 23:25Speaker 2: During break, I spoke with someone very high in the
- 23:30Speaker 2: Trump administration. I'll just say intimately aware of all the
- 23:36Speaker 2: details of the negotiations and a few insights that this
- 23:40Speaker 2: person had, this administration official had on what we just heard.
- 23:44Speaker 2: The Foreign Minister said that there was at no time
- 23:48Speaker 2: a demand for no further enrichment. What the negotiators, what
- 23:54Speaker 2: are negotiators told?
- 23:56Speaker 4: Hell?
- 23:56Speaker 5: I just want to weigh in here quick.
- 23:59Speaker 4: How could the oeign ministers say that the foreign minister
- 24:02Speaker 4: is in Iran and he's on American television right his
- 24:06Speaker 4: message is getting out to the Americans. Does he not
- 24:10Speaker 4: watch these same shows he's on where Trump talks every
- 24:13Speaker 4: day and says they're not going to get a nuclear weapon.
- 24:16Speaker 4: They're not going to get a nuclear weapon? What does
- 24:17Speaker 4: he think we're doing there? I mean, it's just beyond
- 24:21Speaker 4: the pale?
- 24:21Speaker 5: How how silly really is how unseerious some of these
- 24:27Speaker 5: people are.
- 24:28Speaker 2: Go ahead, was the President's position is no enrichment. But
- 24:37Speaker 2: the burden is on you. If you think you can
- 24:41Speaker 2: come back with a counter, the burden is on you
- 24:44Speaker 2: to show us what safeguards will be put in place
- 24:49Speaker 2: so you will you will have a nuclear program for
- 24:53Speaker 2: power like every other country. Also said, we want to
- 24:59Speaker 2: de teled proposal. We've been talking about this for over
- 25:03Speaker 2: a decade. We need it in a week, not in
- 25:06Speaker 2: three years. That won't work. And finally I was told
- 25:14Speaker 2: by this administration official that the burden placed on the
- 25:20Speaker 2: Iranians was a heavy burden because of the lack of trust, because,
- 25:25Speaker 2: in the words of this official, they have broken every
- 25:28Speaker 2: agreement with us that they've ever had. So again it's
- 25:32Speaker 2: Donald Trump, the president with a maximalist position that was
- 25:36Speaker 2: taken to the foreign minister, and the US negotiators hold
- 25:41Speaker 2: the foreign minister, all right, you don't like this maximalist position,
- 25:47Speaker 2: convince us you can have a peaceful nuclear program.
- 25:51Speaker 4: Good luck with that, right, good luck with that. I
- 25:54Speaker 4: gave Morning Joe a little too much time. There the
- 25:56Speaker 4: reality that we've seen time and again. I turned forty
- 26:00Speaker 4: eight today and since I was a kid, because this
- 26:05Speaker 4: has been going on for forty seven years. This has
- 26:08Speaker 4: been the case with Iran. It's never changed. You had
- 26:12Speaker 4: Opama with the JCPOA, You had Jimmy Carter turning a
- 26:16Speaker 4: blind eye. You had Reagan saying you fool around, You're
- 26:19Speaker 4: gonna find out. And they released our hostages. They bombed
- 26:23Speaker 4: us in Beirut. They have death by a thousand cuts, right,
- 26:27Speaker 4: that's been their goal all the time. And guess what
- 26:30Speaker 4: of all the countries, it was one hundred and fifty
- 26:32Speaker 4: hundred and sixty hundred and seventy five nations. Whatever there
- 26:34Speaker 4: is of all the countries in this world, there's one
- 26:37Speaker 4: country that opens their sessions of parliament with chance of
- 26:42Speaker 4: death to America, death to Israel, the Great Satan and
- 26:46Speaker 4: the Little Satan.
- 26:47Speaker 5: So forgive me.
- 26:48Speaker 4: If I am also not trusting what the Iranians have
- 26:52Speaker 4: to say.
- 26:53Speaker 5: They've never shown good faith.
- 26:55Speaker 4: Ever, this isn't a simple dispute that got heated right
- 26:58Speaker 4: where we can say a right, look, look, let cooler
- 27:00Speaker 4: heads prevail and let's sit down and talk about this
- 27:04Speaker 4: like gentlemen.
- 27:04Speaker 5: They've never been a gentleman. What are they going to
- 27:07Speaker 5: start today? Now?
- 27:08Speaker 4: They put this guy out here because he looks like
- 27:09Speaker 4: he might be a level headed person, and he's great
- 27:12Speaker 4: at his job, you know, convincing the Americans that they're
- 27:16Speaker 4: not crazy. But guess what, I think we all know
- 27:19Speaker 4: they're crazy. On our worst day in America, ugly things happen,
- 27:23Speaker 4: but it's not a government sanctioned or even a religiously
- 27:26Speaker 4: sanctioned process to.
- 27:29Speaker 5: Throw gaze off of.
- 27:30Speaker 4: Roofs, to stone women for showing their hair. This type
- 27:34Speaker 4: of barbarism is what we can expect. Now I'm getting
- 27:40Speaker 4: off track here. He's kept talking about a administration official
- 27:45Speaker 4: that's intimately involved in this process, YadA, YadA, and YadA.
- 27:49Speaker 4: And I can tell you that there's two administration officials
- 27:53Speaker 4: that are deeply involved in this process. And there's many,
- 27:56Speaker 4: but the deepest are donaldis Magnus Eletro beat Though, the
- 28:00Speaker 4: forty fifth and forty seventh President of these United States,
- 28:04Speaker 4: and Mark Rubio, Secretary of State. So Mark Rubio had
- 28:10Speaker 4: this to say a little while ago.
- 28:11Speaker 11: Check this out, Well, oil blockade on Cuba. There's no
- 28:15Speaker 11: oil blockade on Cuba, per se. Here's what's happening with Cuba. Okay,
- 28:18Speaker 11: Cuba used to get free oil from Venezuela. Used to
- 28:20Speaker 11: give them a bunch of free oil. They would take
- 28:22Speaker 11: like sixty percent of that oil and resell it for cash.
- 28:25Speaker 11: It wouldn't even go to benefit the people. So the
- 28:27Speaker 11: only blockade that's happened is the Cubans have decided, I mean,
- 28:30Speaker 11: the Venezuelans have decided, we're not giving you free oil anymore.
- 28:33Speaker 11: And you can only imagine nowadays the way oil prices are.
- 28:35Speaker 11: No one's giving away free oil, much less to a
- 28:38Speaker 11: failed regime.
- 28:39Speaker 5: So the problem with Cuba is worse.
- 28:41Speaker 11: Okay, their economic model doesn't work, doesn't work, and the
- 28:45Speaker 11: people who are in charge can't fix it. And the
- 28:47Speaker 11: reason that I can't fix it is not just because
- 28:49Speaker 11: they're communists. That's bad enough, but they're incompetent communists.
- 28:52Speaker 7: Boy.
- 28:52Speaker 4: Yeah, that wasn't the clip either, Thank you guys. That's
- 28:55Speaker 4: when I wanted to play a little later. What I
- 28:57Speaker 4: wanted to get to here was the the discussion on
- 29:05Speaker 4: all right, you have a Trump for me? All right,
- 29:06Speaker 4: give it to me. I'll take it. Go right ahead.
- 29:10Speaker 7: I think it's working out very well.
- 29:11Speaker 5: We're going to see.
- 29:12Speaker 8: I can say this, Iran wants to make a deal.
- 29:17Speaker 8: What I don't like about Iran is they'll talk to
- 29:19Speaker 8: me with such great respect, and then they'll go on
- 29:22Speaker 8: television they'll say we did not speak to the president.
- 29:26Speaker 7: We did not.
- 29:26Speaker 8: I just spoke that we did not speak to the president.
- 29:31Speaker 8: So they play games. But let me just tell you
- 29:34Speaker 8: they want to make a deal, and who wouldn't When
- 29:37Speaker 8: your military is totally gone, we could do anything we
- 29:40Speaker 8: wanted then who wouldn't.
- 29:43Speaker 12: Please.
- 29:44Speaker 8: I think it's working out very well.
- 29:45Speaker 5: We're going to see.
- 29:46Speaker 4: So that's that one. All right, So listen, I'm putting
- 29:50Speaker 4: my money on Trump here. Why because Trump's track records
- 29:52Speaker 4: better than I runs. Trump says he's going to do
- 29:56Speaker 4: no tax on tips. He does no tax on tips.
- 29:57Speaker 4: Trump says he's going to liberate Venezuela. He liberates Venezuela.
- 30:00Speaker 4: Trump says he's gonna liberate Cuba. Looks like it's happening
- 30:02Speaker 4: sooner rather than later. My money is going on El Trompezo.
- 30:07Speaker 4: Donaldis magnus, the forty fifth and forty seventh president of
- 30:10Speaker 4: these United States, right, because why not? He seems to
- 30:13Speaker 4: be doing a whole lot more winning, Right. You gotta
- 30:16Speaker 4: get tired of winning, folks, winning, and I like to win.
- 30:20Speaker 4: And this isn't really about winning and losing. This is
- 30:22Speaker 4: really about stabilizing things, changing the game, if you will,
- 30:26Speaker 4: running the chessboard a little bit better. And I think
- 30:28Speaker 4: all of those things are happening. So despite what we're
- 30:31Speaker 4: paying at the pump, despite some of what the media
- 30:33Speaker 4: will try and make it look like it's the end
- 30:35Speaker 4: of the world, you know, it's not as bad as
- 30:38Speaker 4: you think. I guess it's kind of like any other
- 30:40Speaker 4: thing in life you do, right. I used to be
- 30:41Speaker 4: almost three hundred pounds. I had to give up food,
- 30:44Speaker 4: my drug of choice. McDonald's, the French fries, the two
- 30:48Speaker 4: cheeseburger meal and then you know I add on to that, right,
- 30:52Speaker 4: add extra quarter pounder and whatever, or eat just two
- 30:56Speaker 4: of those meals?
- 30:56Speaker 5: Why not?
- 30:57Speaker 4: But one was good, right because that was just one
- 30:59Speaker 4: meal a lot of the three a day that I
- 31:01Speaker 4: would do in fast food. And what I can say is,
- 31:06Speaker 4: how do you think you feel when you stop a
- 31:08Speaker 4: diet like that? When you do Duncan or Burger King
- 31:12Speaker 4: for breakfast, McDonald's for lunch, get home and have my
- 31:16Speaker 4: ex wife Dominican, big plate of rice and beans and
- 31:20Speaker 4: kadaegi salaa right, and beef stew. I mean you're talking
- 31:23Speaker 4: about I don't know, four or five thousand calories, six
- 31:27Speaker 4: thousand calories a day, zero exercise, and lots of dopamine
- 31:32Speaker 4: from all these carbs. I was the happiest guy in
- 31:34Speaker 4: the world ten minutes after I ate, before I passed out.
- 31:37Speaker 4: So trying to take that type of lifestyle away from people,
- 31:41Speaker 4: they go kicking and screaming, don't they, right?
- 31:43Speaker 5: I know I did.
- 31:44Speaker 4: I was like, I was very upset with a lot
- 31:47Speaker 4: of things. I remember my dad. My dad.
- 31:51Speaker 5: He drank like a fish. Rum was this thing.
- 31:54Speaker 4: He liked rum as a kid. I remember my dad would.
- 31:58Speaker 4: He was always in Puerto Rico. There's a brand of
- 32:04Speaker 4: rum called boo Yehoe, which means old stick, and it's
- 32:08Speaker 4: common to invite people as a customed to have a
- 32:12Speaker 4: shot with you, you know, say, b you know, let's
- 32:16Speaker 4: have a little stick, let's have a shot, let's take
- 32:18Speaker 4: a swig. And that was my dad all throughout my childhood.
- 32:22Speaker 4: And when he got older, into his fifties and sixties,
- 32:25Speaker 4: his health declined and he transitioned from the daily shots
- 32:30Speaker 4: of Baccarty, which was his new brand, to beer. And
- 32:38Speaker 4: that was okay for a while, right because it was lighter,
- 32:42Speaker 4: and it was like, I'm gonna have a beer, and
- 32:44Speaker 4: he felt like he was doing something better for himself.
- 32:47Speaker 4: And so the doctor was like, look, man, you really
- 32:48Speaker 4: can't drink like this all the time. It's not a thing.
- 32:52Speaker 4: And my dad stopped drinking at sixty six years old.
- 32:56Speaker 4: He didn't have another drink and it was brutal and
- 32:59Speaker 4: why because his liver he was starting to begin the
- 33:02Speaker 4: process of cirrhosis. And the doctor said, the veins in
- 33:05Speaker 4: your liver are oozing blood. They can heal, but you
- 33:08Speaker 4: got to stop now because if you continue they'll continue
- 33:10Speaker 4: to dissipate and that'll be it for you. He took
- 33:13Speaker 4: it seriously, and he just stopped drinking beer. And as
- 33:18Speaker 4: a matter of fact, because of a heart issue, he
- 33:19Speaker 4: had to stop drinking coffee at the same time. So
- 33:22Speaker 4: the only things my dad drank water, coffee, and beer
- 33:26Speaker 4: all came to an end at the same time at
- 33:27Speaker 4: sixty six years old.
- 33:29Speaker 5: And I used to see him.
- 33:31Speaker 4: My dad was a pretty lively guy because again, you know,
- 33:32Speaker 4: he was at any given time it was happy hours,
- 33:35Speaker 4: so it was like, hey, he was like hey, you know,
- 33:36Speaker 4: he was always in party mode, and he was he
- 33:40Speaker 4: became a different person.
- 33:41Speaker 5: He was always kind of off, always kind of error.
- 33:44Speaker 4: And I remember, you know, if you asked him, hey,
- 33:46Speaker 4: what's wrong, he'd go, it's just not He would tell
- 33:49Speaker 4: me life ain't the same without a cold one, you know.
- 33:52Speaker 5: And he still had a sense of humor. But it
- 33:55Speaker 5: took a toll on him.
- 33:56Speaker 4: And just like me giving up my McDonald's, you know,
- 33:59Speaker 4: I'm not one of the those people are like, oh, donads,
- 34:01Speaker 4: it's disgusting. It's fake food. No listen, it's the best
- 34:04Speaker 4: fake food I've had. I enjoy it. I like those
- 34:07Speaker 4: dry paper tasting patties, that sugary tasting bread, that gel
- 34:13Speaker 4: looking thing they call sweet and sour sauce. It's like
- 34:16Speaker 4: crack cocaine. I love that stuff and I pour it
- 34:19Speaker 4: right into the burger and I put the fries in
- 34:21Speaker 4: the burger. If you ever need to learn how to
- 34:23Speaker 4: be a fat guy, I can give you a lesson
- 34:25Speaker 4: or three. But my point is it's not always easy
- 34:28Speaker 4: to break away from the sins of the past. Right
- 34:30Speaker 4: your body gets used to these things that they enjoy
- 34:33Speaker 4: because we get used to being comfortable. It's an addiction
- 34:36Speaker 4: to comfort that we have oftentimes, and sometimes we got
- 34:39Speaker 4: to get out of our comfort zone. And that's where
- 34:41Speaker 4: we are with our four dollars and change gas prices
- 34:44Speaker 4: because of this conflict with Iran.
- 34:48Speaker 5: I get that.
- 34:48Speaker 4: I don't like it either, but I understand that this
- 34:53Speaker 4: is part of the process to get to where we
- 34:55Speaker 4: got to go, and I think we're going to get
- 34:58Speaker 4: there anyway.
- 34:59Speaker 5: There is more to come. Straight ahead, We're going to.
- 35:01Speaker 4: Talk a little bit more about what is going on
- 35:04Speaker 4: in New York City with these protests on the synagogue.
- 35:08Speaker 4: Plus the easy pass thing that these licensed plate readers
- 35:12Speaker 4: ghost plates, is what they're claiming they're coming after. They're
- 35:15Speaker 4: saying we have to go after the ghost plates because
- 35:17Speaker 4: people are out there using fake plates or plates that disappear.
- 35:21Speaker 4: And listen, I get that, and I'm going to venture
- 35:24Speaker 4: to say, maybe people wouldn't do that if they weren't
- 35:26Speaker 4: getting hit over the head by easy paths. Right, It's
- 35:28Speaker 4: not just I want to defraud the government. I think
- 35:30Speaker 4: it's oftentimes the government defrauding the public. I want to
- 35:34Speaker 4: know what you think about that.
- 35:36Speaker 5: Let me know. Eight seven seven Valdes one, don't go anywhere.
- 35:40Speaker 3: This is America. This is America.
- 36:13Speaker 5: President Donald takes your up, mister President. Welcome to the
- 36:15Speaker 5: program sir.
- 36:16Speaker 3: Well, thank you Rich, and thank you for everything.
- 36:19Speaker 8: I know you very well, and I have I listened,
- 36:21Speaker 8: but I have a lot of people that listen and
- 36:24Speaker 8: they love your show and I appreciate it very much.
- 36:27Speaker 5: All right for Emenia.
- 36:27Speaker 4: Welcome back, Rich Valdez, keeping your company and on this
- 36:31Speaker 4: sinkle of the night Tuesday night. Thank you very much.
- 36:34Speaker 4: Happy birthday to me forty eight in the building. And
- 36:37Speaker 4: you know, I was telling one of my kids yesterday
- 36:39Speaker 4: just briefly that you know, when I was growing up,
- 36:41Speaker 4: I never thought about what life would look like at
- 36:43Speaker 4: forty eight years old.
- 36:44Speaker 5: I never did.
- 36:45Speaker 4: A matter of fact, even in my twenties, I never thought,
- 36:48Speaker 4: what is you know? To me, I thought twenty five
- 36:51Speaker 4: was like the pinnacle. I was like, oh my god,
- 36:53Speaker 4: if I'm at eighteen. I remember, I was like, if
- 36:54Speaker 4: I make it twenty five, I'll be old. Then I
- 36:57Speaker 4: remember being twenty five and going, man, this is the beginning.
- 37:00Speaker 4: I got like ten years to make it in life
- 37:02Speaker 4: because between twenty five and thirty five, Because to me,
- 37:04Speaker 4: thirty five is the number. You're old by thirty five
- 37:06Speaker 4: if you're not doing like the end of your career
- 37:09Speaker 4: stuff at thirty five. This is my thinking, I'll never
- 37:13Speaker 4: be able to retire at forty. And that was always
- 37:16Speaker 4: my goal to retire at forty. Needless to say, it
- 37:19Speaker 4: did not happen, but I did at thirty nine years
- 37:22Speaker 4: old get into this business of talking to people, and
- 37:27Speaker 4: my goodness, praise God, Amen, hallelujah, I'm still here. And
- 37:31Speaker 4: game changer for me really was a game changer. I've
- 37:34Speaker 4: seen ups, I've seen downs, I've seen ups again, I've
- 37:36Speaker 4: seen downs again, and a faithful audience like you guys
- 37:40Speaker 4: that are listening, have made all the difference and doing
- 37:43Speaker 4: it for what's right, right, I think, yeah, ultimately, we
- 37:45Speaker 4: do this because these conversations that we're having, I think
- 37:47Speaker 4: are important and we need to have them. And if
- 37:50Speaker 4: it weren't for people like you that are listening saying
- 37:53Speaker 4: you know what, I really enjoy listening to rich and
- 37:56Speaker 4: I'm gonna take this and text it to my nephew.
- 37:58Speaker 4: I'm going to text it to my neighbor and just say,
- 38:00Speaker 4: listen to this with an open mind, right, Because I
- 38:02Speaker 4: always tell people listen, give me, listen.
- 38:04Speaker 5: To five of my shows. Five give me.
- 38:06Speaker 4: Five days, and if you hate me after five days,
- 38:09Speaker 4: then that's on you. You can hate me and you
- 38:11Speaker 4: can call me. You can always call eight seven seven
- 38:13Speaker 4: VALDESK one and no judgment. Leave me a message. I'll
- 38:16Speaker 4: play it. Trust me. I play people who disagree with
- 38:18Speaker 4: me all the time. You will get on the show
- 38:20Speaker 4: and I will respond to your stuff because I think
- 38:24Speaker 4: we have to have these important conversations. That's the only way.
- 38:28Speaker 4: It's difficult sometimes to have these conversations, and we won't
- 38:30Speaker 4: always agree. Sometimes you'll say, you know what, I don't
- 38:33Speaker 4: like you and your type of people. You're what's ruining America.
- 38:36Speaker 4: F you have a good day. I've heard that a
- 38:38Speaker 4: million times hurt a lot worse too. But the point
- 38:41Speaker 4: is we try, and I think that's important. So we'll
- 38:45Speaker 4: do some of that. If anybody wants to get in
- 38:49Speaker 4: on that, I'll get to you guys in a little bit.
- 38:50Speaker 5: But right now I wanted to where did I want
- 38:54Speaker 5: to go?
- 38:54Speaker 8: Oh?
- 38:54Speaker 5: Yes, I wanted to talk about these.
- 38:58Speaker 4: This stuff going on with the nagogues, right because this
- 39:02Speaker 4: is wild to me, wild that you've got these groups,
- 39:07Speaker 4: these people bashing the barricades where the police are, you know,
- 39:15Speaker 4: trying to disrupt what's going on at the synagogues, whether
- 39:18Speaker 4: it's a real estate event or not. The point is,
- 39:22Speaker 4: we don't do that, right, that's not what we're supposed
- 39:24Speaker 4: to do. But nonetheless that's what they're doing. So you've
- 39:28Speaker 4: got these protesters again, they're waving I guess, the Palestinian flag.
- 39:31Speaker 4: They're masked like Ninja's wearing the cafia, which is that
- 39:34Speaker 4: checkered colored Middle Eastern scarf that goes around the neck
- 39:38Speaker 4: and then the head and in this case around the
- 39:40Speaker 4: neck end the head of many of them. So you
- 39:41Speaker 4: don't you have no idea who these people are and
- 39:44Speaker 4: they're out there doing their chanting behind a police line,
- 39:47Speaker 4: and you know, it seems quote unquote mostly peaceful.
- 39:51Speaker 5: Right, listen to this.
- 40:09Speaker 4: I don't even know what they're saying, right, but at
- 40:12Speaker 4: some point I guess they go over the space that
- 40:14Speaker 4: they were allotted for their permit, and the cops are
- 40:17Speaker 4: not telling you got to move, you got to move,
- 40:18Speaker 4: and they're moving these people and you're talking about I
- 40:20Speaker 4: don't know, from my guestimation from looking at this crowd,
- 40:25Speaker 4: fifty seventy five people in the first group, and it's
- 40:28Speaker 4: probably a group of equal size behind it. So one
- 40:31Speaker 4: hundred and fifty two hundred people at least as far
- 40:33Speaker 4: as the camera can see, you know, plus not an
- 40:36Speaker 4: equal number of cops, but quite a large amount of cops.
- 40:39Speaker 4: And again, do you think they want to cooperate now?
- 40:42Speaker 5: Not at all. Listen, getting in.
- 40:48Speaker 4: The face of the officers. That's why all you hear
- 40:53Speaker 4: the cops saying, back up, back right, in.
- 40:55Speaker 5: Your face, move forward, forward.
- 41:02Speaker 4: Right, so get on the sidewalk, it out of the street.
- 41:05Speaker 4: They're pushing them.
- 41:06Speaker 2: Now.
- 41:06Speaker 4: You've got at least one hundred people pushing back on
- 41:09Speaker 4: a barricade with thirty cops pushing back. If that barricade
- 41:13Speaker 4: goes over, those cops are going to get crushed.
- 41:15Speaker 5: You're gonna get hurt.
- 41:17Speaker 4: And then when one of them pulls out their gun
- 41:18Speaker 4: and starts shooting these people, saying I thought my airway
- 41:21Speaker 4: was going to be obstructed because of the weight of
- 41:23Speaker 4: the barricade.
- 41:24Speaker 5: Now, then they're going to be the bad gun.
- 41:26Speaker 4: And then the prosecutor is going to prosecute the police. Right,
- 41:29Speaker 4: and let me just put that down for a second.
- 41:34Speaker 4: The prosecutor is going to prosecute the officers.
- 41:38Speaker 5: Then you've got.
- 41:39Speaker 4: The the mayor that's going to come out there and say,
- 41:44Speaker 4: you know, we're very embarrassed about our police department doing this.
- 41:47Speaker 4: The peaceful protesters, I mean, this whole thing is an
- 41:51Speaker 4: organized show. And far be it from me to criticize
- 41:56Speaker 4: people for their faith. Right, I am a member of
- 41:59Speaker 4: a member, if you want to call a member. I'm
- 42:01Speaker 4: a hearing the follower of Christ. That's my belief. That's
- 42:05Speaker 4: what I do. I don't begrudge you for having a
- 42:07Speaker 4: different faith. My hope is that you'll also have a
- 42:10Speaker 4: relationship with Jesus and it'll change your life and bless
- 42:15Speaker 4: you in the ways that it's changed mind and blessed me.
- 42:18Speaker 4: But ultimately that's you and your salvation, your walk. You've
- 42:20Speaker 4: got to work that out with fear and trembling, right.
- 42:22Speaker 6: Not me.
- 42:23Speaker 4: I can just pray for you and share what I know,
- 42:29Speaker 4: and I think that's my approach. Do what you got
- 42:32Speaker 4: to do. But some people take a step further. They
- 42:36Speaker 4: like to debate this stuff. You got some apologists out
- 42:38Speaker 4: there on both sides, right, people that want to, you know,
- 42:41Speaker 4: be an apologist for their Christianity and people that want
- 42:43Speaker 4: to be an apologist for their faith in Islam.
- 42:47Speaker 5: And sometimes they end.
- 42:49Speaker 4: Up on discord or other you know, video chat applications
- 42:54Speaker 4: and they get into a back and forth. And I
- 42:57Speaker 4: got one of these, and I got to tell you
- 42:59Speaker 4: this one was interesting because again I guess I have
- 43:03Speaker 4: a position of bias here, as like I said, someone
- 43:06Speaker 4: that is a follower of Christianity again on my good days, right, I'm.
- 43:10Speaker 5: Not the best follower of Christianity.
- 43:12Speaker 4: I try my best to and maybe not always my best,
- 43:15Speaker 4: but it's always my default, right, let's say that. And
- 43:20Speaker 4: I know what I believe, and listening to this, it
- 43:24Speaker 4: seems to me that there's a clear winner in this
- 43:26Speaker 4: back and forth argument. And I want you to hear
- 43:29Speaker 4: it and tell me what you think.
- 43:30Speaker 5: Listen to this. Go ahead, play the tape.
- 43:47Speaker 12: Stereotypical Americans defend is real.
- 43:50Speaker 13: We're against Islamic terrorism. Americans are against Islamic terrorism.
- 43:56Speaker 12: I'm an American and I'm not against Islamic terrorists because
- 44:00Speaker 12: that simply does not exist.
- 44:01Speaker 5: Okay up, hold up.
- 44:04Speaker 4: So again, it's this is why I don't engage with
- 44:07Speaker 4: so many people, because you can't engage with people who
- 44:11Speaker 4: don't agree with the floor and ceiling are right. You
- 44:13Speaker 4: can't say, look, we're going to debate the existence of life,
- 44:17Speaker 4: but you don't believe there's a sky. If you don't
- 44:20Speaker 4: believe there's a sky, you know, and that's part of
- 44:22Speaker 4: the equation of what we're going to talk about.
- 44:25Speaker 5: We have a problem here.
- 44:26Speaker 4: If you are a Muslim and you can't say that
- 44:30Speaker 4: there is in fact a radicalized segment of your population
- 44:35Speaker 4: abusing your faith and using it for their own political
- 44:40Speaker 4: gain through terrorism, then I think you're asleep at the
- 44:44Speaker 4: wheel or you're complicit in the problem. And I would
- 44:46Speaker 4: say the same thing someone were to tell me Christians
- 44:49Speaker 4: have bombed abortion clinics because they are so pro life
- 44:54Speaker 4: and I weren't to say I don't support that. I'm
- 44:58Speaker 4: not blowing up and I'm not gonna put a bum
- 45:00Speaker 4: and an abortion clinic because I think abortion is wrong.
- 45:04Speaker 4: If I don't take that stance, then I'm just as
- 45:06Speaker 4: guilty as they are. In my eyes, That's how I
- 45:09Speaker 4: see it. I understand I'm not the one bombing it,
- 45:11Speaker 4: but I'm clearly condoning it. And that's clearly what's happening here.
- 45:15Speaker 4: But he he comes back with some receipts.
- 45:18Speaker 5: Listen to this.
- 45:20Speaker 13: The GTI, the Global Terrorism Index, which is an independent
- 45:23Speaker 13: database that has the top ten terrorist groups in the
- 45:25Speaker 13: world and they're all Islamic and the top ten terror
- 45:27Speaker 13: attacks created statistic.
- 45:29Speaker 12: Where are you going to get the statistics?
- 45:30Speaker 13: It's independent, you know.
- 45:31Speaker 12: Okay, here's the thing earlier.
- 45:34Speaker 13: I'll pull it up for are you ruddy?
- 45:35Speaker 5: Hold on?
- 45:36Speaker 4: And now this is a classic example of don't believe
- 45:39Speaker 4: your lying eyes. Right, you just can't believe everything you see. Now,
- 45:43Speaker 4: I understand you can't believe everything you see, right Hebrews
- 45:46Speaker 4: eleven one, walk by faith, not by sight and all
- 45:47Speaker 4: that stuff.
- 45:48Speaker 5: Got it.
- 45:49Speaker 4: But this is a clear case if you can't deny
- 45:51Speaker 4: reality either.
- 45:55Speaker 13: GT twenty twenty six, and you can look it up to.
- 45:57Speaker 12: You're gonna say it's an American scores. It's definitely false.
- 46:00Speaker 12: Erica lies, it's an independent, you know the Orange.
- 46:03Speaker 13: But Hamas doesn't lie, right, dude, Your Profheit's a pedophile.
- 46:06Speaker 13: They married a six year old. Don't play that.
- 46:07Speaker 12: Oh, my prophet's a pedophile. First of all, he's not.
- 46:10Speaker 13: Second of all, how old was Aishawahecca?
- 46:13Speaker 12: Isaiah?
- 46:14Speaker 13: Rebecca wasn't three, Rebecca Isaac. Rebecca wasn't three. I can
- 46:18Speaker 13: go over this.
- 46:18Speaker 12: Isaac was like twenty four twenty two, and Becca wasn't three.
- 46:21Speaker 13: Sixteen, twenty four and sixteen. That's the same thing as
- 46:24Speaker 13: fifty four and six.
- 46:25Speaker 12: Well, you're you're saying that my profits.
- 46:28Speaker 13: Twenty four and six, twenty four and sixteen, twenty four
- 46:31Speaker 13: and sixteen is legal in America today. Isaac wasn't Isaac.
- 46:34Speaker 13: Isaac wasn't a pedophile. Do you really think you are
- 46:36Speaker 13: you gonna let me? Are you gonna let me talk?
- 46:38Speaker 13: You're getting emotional? You think it's okay for a fifty
- 46:39Speaker 13: four year old to Maria.
- 46:40Speaker 5: Six year old?
- 46:41Speaker 12: Getting emotional? I'm not sensitive, okay?
- 46:42Speaker 5: Do you think it's that sensitive to me, that was
- 46:46Speaker 5: the best part of this whole exchange. But I'm a
- 46:49Speaker 5: cynic and I'm working on my cynicism. Go ahead, okay.
- 46:52Speaker 13: For a fifty four year old to Maria six year
- 46:54Speaker 13: old Mohammed, your earliest sources, your Islamic scholars say he
- 46:58Speaker 13: was fifty four, I should narrate in the that you really.
- 47:01Speaker 12: Think that every do you really think that every Muslim
- 47:04Speaker 12: is going to live life exactly like how the profit
- 47:07Speaker 12: did it?
- 47:07Speaker 13: Why he's the most he's the most perfect.
- 47:09Speaker 12: Man because let me finish time obviously not obviously, let
- 47:13Speaker 12: me finish, let me finish.
- 47:15Speaker 13: The floor is yours.
- 47:16Speaker 12: So the profit was alive and in the year five
- 47:19Speaker 12: hundred somewhere around.
- 47:20Speaker 13: Yeah, this doesn't matter because he's supposed to say them.
- 47:23Speaker 12: Let me finish, you not even let me finish.
- 47:24Speaker 13: I already know what you're going to say. Oh, it
- 47:26Speaker 13: was normal back then.
- 47:27Speaker 5: You got a let to finish. You can't just predict
- 47:29Speaker 5: her rhetoric.
- 47:30Speaker 12: You know a lot of things back then were normal,
- 47:33Speaker 12: but nowadays do not normal. Let me talk, let me talk.
- 47:38Speaker 13: I already are already addressed this normal. So it was
- 47:41Speaker 13: pedophilia back then.
- 47:42Speaker 12: Okay, but okay, but okay, but okay, but okay.
- 47:45Speaker 4: But okay, okay, but okay, But.
- 47:51Speaker 12: Back then it was normal.
- 47:54Speaker 13: Times have changed, Okay, So because it was, you really
- 47:56Speaker 13: think that.
- 47:57Speaker 12: You're going to go on the cross and sacrifice your
- 47:58Speaker 12: life for our sins, just like how Jesus did know
- 48:01Speaker 12: because he was alive a long time ago.
- 48:03Speaker 4: I don't think, well, now, hold on a second, right now,
- 48:05Speaker 4: I don't. I don't think I'm going to do that.
- 48:07Speaker 4: I think he did that, so I wouldn't have to
- 48:09Speaker 4: number one and number two if we look at you
- 48:14Speaker 4: know how some of the apostles were killed. They were
- 48:17Speaker 4: killed similarly, even requesting to be crucified upside down because
- 48:22Speaker 4: they didn't want to die in the same way. They
- 48:24Speaker 4: weren't worthy to die in the same way as Jesus.
- 48:26Speaker 4: But the point is, yes, I mean, I think the
- 48:28Speaker 4: Bible does say, right, no greater love does a man
- 48:31Speaker 4: know than to lay down his life for his fellow man.
- 48:35Speaker 4: This is, I think, still what we're supposed to do.
- 48:39Speaker 4: Just because we may miss the mark doesn't mean the
- 48:41Speaker 4: mark has moved.
- 48:43Speaker 13: I think the human sacrifice for the atonement of sense.
- 48:46Speaker 12: That's what Christ believed. I'm talking Christ.
- 48:49Speaker 13: Oh, so you don't like whenever I cut you off,
- 48:50Speaker 13: but you like to cut me off. Okay, But is
- 48:52Speaker 13: Mohammad the most perfect men of all time?
- 48:53Speaker 12: So you are going off of Is Muhammad the.
- 48:56Speaker 13: Most perfect men of all time? Mohammed is considered to
- 48:58Speaker 13: be the most perfect men of all time bound by
- 49:00Speaker 13: his time.
- 49:01Speaker 3: Do you want to bring up?
- 49:02Speaker 12: Do you want to bring up?
- 49:03Speaker 13: Yeah, you want to compare. You want to compare Jesus's
- 49:05Speaker 13: life to mohammeds and see who was a better person. Yes,
- 49:08Speaker 13: you don't want to You don't want to compare Jesus
- 49:09Speaker 13: to Mohammed because you know Jesus was a better person.
- 49:11Speaker 13: Why that's not true.
- 49:12Speaker 12: That's not true. That's not true. Stereotypical Americans defend is.
- 49:15Speaker 5: Yeah, of course.
- 49:16Speaker 4: So this is a good example of people making arguments
- 49:20Speaker 4: based on emotion, right because they feel that they're right,
- 49:23Speaker 4: but being faced with the facts, knowing that they're not right.
- 49:29Speaker 4: Dare I say wrong? Are unwilling to admit that they're wrong?
- 49:34Speaker 4: That is pride, It's ego. Listen, sis, I also suffer
- 49:37Speaker 4: from pride and ego. I suffer from all of them.
- 49:39Speaker 5: You name them.
- 49:40Speaker 4: I suffer from all of them. But we have to
- 49:42Speaker 4: get to a point where we can get past those things.
- 49:45Speaker 5: Right.
- 49:45Speaker 4: So anyway, you tell me, what do you think? Who
- 49:48Speaker 4: won this one? Give me a call. Eight seven seven
- 49:51Speaker 4: Valdez one. Don't go anywhere.
- 49:54Speaker 1: This is America. This is America.
- 50:11Speaker 3: He's making podcasting great again. This is America with Rich Valdez.
- 50:45Speaker 5: Dirty.
- 50:46Speaker 6: Think of riding dirty? Think again?
- 50:51Speaker 13: Sorry. The reason was to stop.
- 50:53Speaker 5: You have it from plate in your car.
- 50:54Speaker 11: You have a plate cover, we have good plate.
- 50:56Speaker 5: We're going after the motorists.
- 50:57Speaker 2: I think that they can break the law and not
- 50:59Speaker 2: facing consequences.
- 51:01Speaker 6: Using license plate scanners to identify suspicious vehicles in real
- 51:05Speaker 6: time that alert the officers up ahead.
- 51:07Speaker 10: King William Larry.
- 51:09Speaker 6: The Born, aiming to crack down on ghost plates. Drivers
- 51:14Speaker 6: can face tickets that tolds, repossessions, and in some cases
- 51:20Speaker 6: even arrests. With a row of more than a dozen
- 51:23Speaker 6: cars all stop within the first few minutes of this operation.
- 51:26Speaker 6: Police say. The message they're trying to send is simple.
- 51:29Speaker 11: Is it about accountability?
- 51:33Speaker 6: Riding dirty? Think again?
- 51:35Speaker 8: No?
- 51:35Speaker 5: Good right? Riding dirty? Think again?
- 51:39Speaker 4: Thank you, guys, And Mike was off there for a second.
- 51:42Speaker 4: The report you just heard, that's from these twelve New
- 51:46Speaker 4: York Jody Juliana reporting there, and it's a bunch of
- 51:51Speaker 4: NYPD traffic enforcement people with the New York State Police
- 51:55Speaker 4: Joint Task Force blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
- 51:58Speaker 4: with this cracked on quote unquote ghost plates.
- 52:01Speaker 5: But who's really getting ticketed?
- 52:03Speaker 4: People who have a cracked license plate cover and maybe
- 52:05Speaker 4: their license plate fell off because they got reranded, or
- 52:08Speaker 4: they park on the streets in New York City somebody
- 52:12Speaker 4: like me that somebody hit mine and my front plate
- 52:15Speaker 4: fell off, And I haven't gotten in trouble for that,
- 52:16Speaker 4: thank god. But my point is there are people that
- 52:21Speaker 4: are out there committing crimes. And I know every bad
- 52:24Speaker 4: guy says that, right, every last guy speeding is like.
- 52:26Speaker 5: Oh, go out there and catch the rapists. Listen, understood.
- 52:31Speaker 4: I get that where we're supposed to do the right thing, right,
- 52:33Speaker 4: you need two plates, You should have two plates.
- 52:35Speaker 5: You have this, you should got it.
- 52:37Speaker 4: But I want to open the conversation to push back
- 52:40Speaker 4: a little bit. And why because when it costs twenty
- 52:46Speaker 4: nine dollars to go into New York City, at some
- 52:49Speaker 4: point I think we should have a right to say
- 52:51Speaker 4: I don't think it's worth twenty nine dollars or I
- 52:53Speaker 4: don't think it's fair to charge people twenty nine dollars, right,
- 52:57Speaker 4: And the way they get that is through a political
- 53:00Speaker 4: idea called incrementalism.
- 53:02Speaker 5: Right.
- 53:02Speaker 4: It starts with tolls. Oh, it will be fifty cents,
- 53:05Speaker 4: just as a fifty cent toll you go in here.
- 53:07Speaker 4: They try to justify it when they build a new
- 53:09Speaker 4: road or a new tunnel, saying, oh, look, we have
- 53:13Speaker 4: to offset the cost to this, so we're going to
- 53:15Speaker 4: charge you even though you're already paying taxes for these things.
- 53:18Speaker 5: Right.
- 53:18Speaker 4: So if you're paying taxes both federally and locally, and
- 53:21Speaker 4: they're using federal funds oftentimes to offset the local cost
- 53:26Speaker 4: of these things, then why are we paying for things twice?
- 53:31Speaker 4: And when it comes to easy pass and things like that,
- 53:33Speaker 4: I mean, I've had it up to hear what easy pass?
- 53:35Speaker 4: I have an easy pass, I keep money in the
- 53:37Speaker 4: easy pass. If it depletes, I replace the money. Look
- 53:40Speaker 4: everybody else, and I've had nothing but a world of
- 53:43Speaker 4: headaches with easy paths. Now, I understand, maybe my administrative
- 53:47Speaker 4: ability is not as good as the next person's. Okay,
- 53:50Speaker 4: granted maybe it's not, but the fact that we live
- 53:53Speaker 4: our lives this way where everything is directly tied to
- 53:56Speaker 4: some sort of toll, especially in the New York, New
- 53:59Speaker 4: Jersey area. If you guys are listening from the other
- 54:01Speaker 4: fifty states or the other forty nine, I should say,
- 54:04Speaker 4: or you know, Puerto Rico, or the Dominican Republic or
- 54:08Speaker 4: so many of the places we've charted recently. And again
- 54:10Speaker 4: I want to thank you guys, everybody listening to the podcast.
- 54:13Speaker 4: We just charted in Israel a couple of weeks ago,
- 54:16Speaker 4: we charted in Chile. We charted in again top one
- 54:19Speaker 4: hundred in these areas in the Apple News commentary chart.
- 54:25Speaker 4: You know, pretty big deal in this sense that you're
- 54:28Speaker 4: competing against on your best day, nine thousand other podcasts
- 54:33Speaker 4: and on your worst day, millions. All right, there's a
- 54:37Speaker 4: two or three million podcasts in the larger universe of this.
- 54:41Speaker 4: So kudos to each and every one of you, right
- 54:43Speaker 4: because I didn't do it. All I did was talk.
- 54:45Speaker 4: You guys are the ones that actually listened and listened enough.
- 54:47Speaker 4: And for those of you who took the time to
- 54:49Speaker 4: leave a five star review and to leave a comment
- 54:52Speaker 4: on your review as you review on Raffoniic or Apple
- 54:56Speaker 4: Podcasts or wherever you listen to your podcast. iHeartRadio Spotify.
- 55:02Speaker 4: I really, I truly thank you. Right, I can't pay
- 55:05Speaker 4: you for these things, but I am grateful to you,
- 55:08Speaker 4: and whenever we get them, I do shout them out.
- 55:10Speaker 4: So if you want to leave a comment and let
- 55:13Speaker 4: me know how I'm doing or how you think the
- 55:15Speaker 4: show is going, feel free to do that. That's always appreciated.
- 55:18Speaker 4: Thank you. But my point is here in this area
- 55:23Speaker 4: in New York, I mean, it's it's getting kind of crazy.
- 55:26Speaker 4: It's getting kind of hectic, like the song goes, and
- 55:29Speaker 4: this isn't something that I think people are going to
- 55:32Speaker 4: continue to tolerate because it's becoming exorbitant. It's becoming like
- 55:37Speaker 4: a trip to New York twenty nine bucks with congestion
- 55:40Speaker 4: pricing sixteen without it. Maybe I don't do that. And
- 55:44Speaker 4: guess who's not going to dinner in the city like
- 55:46Speaker 4: they used to. A lot of people, a lot of
- 55:48Speaker 4: people aren't going to Broadway like they used to. A
- 55:50Speaker 4: lot of people aren't going to dinner like they used to.
- 55:53Speaker 4: A lot of people are just abandoning ship when it
- 55:55Speaker 4: comes to New York because you're taxing the common man
- 55:58Speaker 4: every day, the hard working stiff that's trying to, you know,
- 56:02Speaker 4: put food on the table. Mom's trying to take care
- 56:04Speaker 4: of their kids. Dads trying to put their kids through
- 56:06Speaker 4: college whatever it is, right, even if their kids are
- 56:08Speaker 4: taking loans, you want to help with the loans. You
- 56:10Speaker 4: want to help with your with your kids life as
- 56:12Speaker 4: much as possible. But when you're getting taxed up the wazoo,
- 56:17Speaker 4: you get to a point where you're saying, look, it's
- 56:19Speaker 4: it's me or them, And that's not the way it's
- 56:22Speaker 4: supposed to work. It isn't supposed to be. I work
- 56:25Speaker 4: for the government. It never has been and it never
- 56:29Speaker 4: should be. And if you want to see that, just
- 56:31Speaker 4: look at Cuba, look at Venezuela, look at all the
- 56:34Speaker 4: different places that use that model. They're not good and
- 56:37Speaker 4: they're not winning. So my word to the.
- 56:41Speaker 5: Wise, Mom Donnie mayor, Mom.
- 56:45Speaker 4: Donnie governor, Hokeel governor, what is her name, Cheryl in
- 56:51Speaker 4: New Jersey, people that have oversight over easy Pass and
- 56:54Speaker 4: all this crazy tolling that they're doing the New Jersey turnpipe. Goodness,
- 56:59Speaker 4: I go from here to Union City, right, I live
- 57:01Speaker 4: in right off of the Washington Bridge on the Jersey side.
- 57:05Speaker 4: So if I take the turnpike one or two exits,
- 57:10Speaker 4: it's five dollars.
- 57:11Speaker 5: I mean, it's just out of control.
- 57:13Speaker 4: Right for that, you take the streets, you spend the
- 57:15Speaker 4: next few minutes, and it just doesn't make sense to me.
- 57:20Speaker 4: So my word to all of you is you're cracking
- 57:24Speaker 4: down on ghost plates, but people are now using ghost
- 57:27Speaker 4: plates quote unquote because they're getting robbed by the government.
- 57:33Speaker 4: And the more you rob people, the more people are
- 57:36Speaker 4: going to figure out ways to protect their money. And
- 57:38Speaker 4: you're gonna call it robbing them, and then you're gonna
- 57:40Speaker 4: want to imprison them. And right now you're finding them.
- 57:43Speaker 4: And where does it end. Listen, taxation and tea started
- 57:49Speaker 4: a big old deal in this country a long time ago.
- 57:52Speaker 4: That's my warning. I hope you heat it anyway me,
- 57:55Speaker 4: he goes. This is where I say you have to
- 57:58Speaker 4: stand for something, because if you stand for nothing, you'll
- 58:01Speaker 4: fall for anything. And the only thing necessary for evil
- 58:04Speaker 4: to triumph is for good people like you to do nothing.
- 58:07Speaker 4: So you know what to do. Do it the right way.
- 58:09Speaker 4: Render unto Caesar, what to Caesar's but render unto God?
- 58:12Speaker 4: What is God's a stall? Aproxima? Take care, good night,
- 58:17Speaker 4: and God bless you.
