- 0:08SPEAKER_06: Oh, it is?
- 0:09SPEAKER_06: Yeah, yeah, go ahead.
- 0:10SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 0:10SPEAKER_06: Do the thing.
- 0:12SPEAKER_02: No, this is it.
- 0:12SPEAKER_02: This is staying in.
- 0:14SPEAKER_06: No, it's not.
- 0:14SPEAKER_02: This is staying in.
- 0:16SPEAKER_06: Who edits?
- 0:17SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 0:18SPEAKER_02: Let's see what happens.
- 0:22SPEAKER_06: Welcome back to Keeping It Relevant.
- 0:24SPEAKER_06: I'm Alex.
- 0:25SPEAKER_02: I'm Cody.
- 0:26SPEAKER_02: Start the conversation.
- 0:28SPEAKER_06: Alright.
- 0:29SPEAKER_06: Are you going to open it with your uh relevance news update?
- 0:34SPEAKER_02: Okay, yeah.
- 0:34SPEAKER_02: Hold on.
- 0:35SPEAKER_02: So, hold on.
- 0:36SPEAKER_02: There were conversations at present trees.
- 0:38SPEAKER_02: I'm a little hot right now with Alex.
- 0:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah, in relevance news, there is no such thing as comic book fatigue.
- 0:44SPEAKER_02: It is only mediocre fatigue.
- 0:46SPEAKER_02: No.
- 0:46SPEAKER_02: I never said comic book fatigue.
- 0:47SPEAKER_02: Stop.
- 0:48SPEAKER_02: Superhero.
- 0:48SPEAKER_02: Superhero.
- 0:49SPEAKER_02: I've also never said that.
- 0:50SPEAKER_02: You said superhero.
- 0:51SPEAKER_05: Nowhere in there.
- 0:52SPEAKER_02: What did you?
- 0:52SPEAKER_02: Now didn't I say that?
- 0:54SPEAKER_06: Nowhere in there did I say fatigue.
- 0:56SPEAKER_06: I said you could look at a trend of how much money each movie has made as of recent, and they have not made as much as they were projected.
- 1:05SPEAKER_02: Alright, we were talking about we were talking about Spider-Man.
- 1:08SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:08SPEAKER_02: Wait, hold on.
- 1:09SPEAKER_02: Hold on.
- 1:09SPEAKER_06: We were talking about Spider-Man.
- 1:11SPEAKER_02: Look, okay.
- 1:12SPEAKER_02: All I said was what's crazy is I'm sorry.
- 1:18SPEAKER_02: Cody's in the corner of my eye right now, clearly just not about this conversation.
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: I'm just looking stubborn.
- 1:27SPEAKER_02: Just his face and his phone.
- 1:29SPEAKER_02: So, oh, really quick.
- 1:31SPEAKER_02: Uh if you listen to the last episode, you'll know.
- 1:33SPEAKER_02: We had a mic break, so we have one mic right now.
- 1:35SPEAKER_02: It's on a swivel.
- 1:37SPEAKER_02: Um deal with it.
- 1:39SPEAKER_02: That's what the weird audio thing is.
- 1:41SPEAKER_02: Okay, so good.
- 1:42SPEAKER_02: A pivot.
- 1:42SPEAKER_02: Anyways.
- 1:43SPEAKER_02: Um, I said the what's crazy about movies right now is that the Odyssey has potential to make a billion dollars, but Spider-Man uh new day, brand new day coming out in two weeks, has potential to make two billion dollars.
- 2:04SPEAKER_02: And you don't think that's true.
- 2:07SPEAKER_06: I don't think it'll hit two billion.
- 2:09SPEAKER_02: I don't I don't know if it will, but it has potential to hit two billion.
- 2:17SPEAKER_06: I just don't think it will.
- 2:18SPEAKER_06: Look at the trend of how much money superhero movies have made just on the last one.
- 2:23SPEAKER_06: We'll go last 10 just to get a good graph point.
- 2:27SPEAKER_06: They never made their projections.
- 2:30SPEAKER_02: Well, yeah, they have.
- 2:32SPEAKER_06: I didn't think they made all their projections.
- 2:34SPEAKER_02: Okay, so Supergirl, right?
- 2:37SPEAKER_06: Um definitely did not.
- 2:39SPEAKER_02: Gosh darn.
- 2:41SPEAKER_02: Um by the way, did you like did you like Supergirl?
- 2:45SPEAKER_06: I thought Supergirl was great.
- 2:47SPEAKER_06: All these people hating on it, I don't understand it.
- 2:50SPEAKER_06: Uh the most I've seen, everyone's like, well, it's not Woman of Tomorrow, the comic book.
- 2:55SPEAKER_06: And I was like, yeah, it shouldn't be a one-for-one.
- 2:59SPEAKER_06: But that's my take on it.
- 3:02SPEAKER_06: I loved it though.
- 3:04SPEAKER_06: And Millie Alcott as Supergirl worked really well.
- 3:09SPEAKER_02: Um I agree.
- 3:10SPEAKER_02: Millie Alcock as Supergirl worked freaking amazing.
- 3:15SPEAKER_02: I here's okay, here's the thing.
- 3:17SPEAKER_02: Here's the thing.
- 3:18SPEAKER_02: If you were to ask me, it Don't hit the mic.
- 3:22SPEAKER_02: If you were to ask me, was it a good superhero?
- 3:25SPEAKER_02: Supergirl movie, my answer is no.
- 3:28SPEAKER_02: You didn't.
- 3:30SPEAKER_02: The first two acts was nothing about Supergirl.
- 3:32SPEAKER_02: It was less about Supergirl, more about Lobo and whoever that little girl was that she helped.
- 3:37SPEAKER_06: Uh yeah.
- 3:38SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 3:38SPEAKER_06: Which the book is about.
- 3:40SPEAKER_02: There was there, and that's cool.
- 3:41SPEAKER_02: Whatever.
- 3:42SPEAKER_02: I didn't read it.
- 3:42SPEAKER_02: And I'm an I'm a movie goer that didn't read the content.
- 3:47SPEAKER_02: And as a movie goer, I was like, this isn't a supergirl movie.
- 3:53SPEAKER_02: It wasn't.
- 3:54SPEAKER_02: I didn't I love Supergirl.
- 3:57SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 3:57SPEAKER_02: Sorry I didn't read the one Supergirl thing everyone else has read, I guess.
- 4:02SPEAKER_02: But I love Supergirl, thought she was great in The Flash.
- 4:05SPEAKER_02: I loved the old school with Chris Reeves type of stuff.
- 4:08SPEAKER_02: And even even the CW stuff.
- 4:10SPEAKER_02: I haven't seen her, I've seen clips.
- 4:11SPEAKER_02: Love Supergirl.
- 4:12SPEAKER_02: She's a great superhero.
- 4:13SPEAKER_02: Love everything about her.
- 4:15SPEAKER_02: It didn't become a superhero girl movie until the third act.
- 4:19SPEAKER_02: I love the third act.
- 4:21SPEAKER_06: Well, she wasn't Supergirl in the.
- 4:25SPEAKER_06: This is gonna sound weird.
- 4:26SPEAKER_06: She wasn't supposed to be Supergirl until the third act.
- 4:30SPEAKER_06: She never took on the mantle.
- 4:32SPEAKER_06: No, that's the whole movie was about like coming to grips with that.
- 4:38SPEAKER_02: What do you mean she didn't take on the mantle when they were like, oh, who the who's who's your cousin on Earth?
- 4:43SPEAKER_02: Oh, that's Superman and you?
- 4:45SPEAKER_02: I'm Supergirl.
- 4:46SPEAKER_02: She's so she's obviously But it was how she phrased it though.
- 4:50SPEAKER_06: She like was hesitant to use that in the grief.
- 4:54SPEAKER_06: And that showed it in the flashbacks.
- 4:56SPEAKER_06: She didn't necessarily want that.
- 4:59SPEAKER_06: Especially with everything that's happened to that character in this rendition.
- 5:04SPEAKER_02: I get that.
- 5:05SPEAKER_02: Then give me a movie that's about Supergirl becoming Supergirl, even if she's already established as Supergirl on Earth.
- 5:14SPEAKER_02: Give me the movie of her establishing herself as Supergirl and not more than a third of the movie it not being that, and then for some reason when she almost dies on a green sun planet.
- 5:28SPEAKER_02: I didn't like that.
- 5:28SPEAKER_02: No, I didn't like that either.
- 5:30SPEAKER_02: She was like, I guess I'll be supergirl.
- 5:33SPEAKER_02: Like, what?
- 5:35SPEAKER_02: Because it was super What?
- 5:36SPEAKER_06: So this was a weird take on like a supergirl origin story.
- 5:40SPEAKER_06: I I hated the Green Sun thing.
- 5:43SPEAKER_06: I you established Kryptonite in this movie, in this DCU, for the first time.
- 5:50SPEAKER_06: Said it was real, and that it can make it to where it needs to go.
- 5:56SPEAKER_06: Why not why not just put her on the planet that had a yellow sun and a red sun?
- 6:02SPEAKER_06: Why did we have to establish this weird kryptonite sun variant?
- 6:07SPEAKER_06: I didn't get that.
- 6:08SPEAKER_06: I didn't like it.
- 6:09SPEAKER_06: I don't think that worked real well for me.
- 6:11SPEAKER_01: No, no, it didn't.
- 6:12SPEAKER_06: It didn't, and and like you could have got the same result if uh, for instance, if she bumped into Pinhead, I cannot think of that guy's name off the top of my head.
- 6:26SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 6:27SPEAKER_02: I know what you're talking about.
- 6:28SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 6:28SPEAKER_06: If he had kryptonite-tipped uh not bullets, but spears.
- 6:34SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 6:34SPEAKER_06: Arrows.
- 6:35SPEAKER_06: So like you could establish the same thing where yeah, one of those spears got lodged in her, the kid couldn't pull it out on top of the yellow sun and red sun.
- 6:44SPEAKER_06: Like, there were so many other ways you could have done it that I would have been fine with other than what you did.
- 6:49SPEAKER_02: But like the thing is, like, the points even even you're making, and and again, I'm not I'm not dogging on the movie.
- 6:56SPEAKER_02: I'm dogging on the fact that it wasn't a super girl movie.
- 7:01SPEAKER_02: Because I mean, to the points that you were making, to me, that was the whole movie.
- 7:06SPEAKER_02: And I get some people were like, I didn't like the Superman movie last year because it wasn't a Superman movie, it was about you know, Green Lantern or uh Justice Guild.
- 7:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah, the Justice Guild or whatever, like it was about that, it wasn't really much about Superman, and I could I can understand that.
- 7:23SPEAKER_02: I didn't get that though.
- 7:25SPEAKER_03: I didn't get that either, yeah.
- 7:26SPEAKER_02: But like for me, the way people felt about that Superman movie is how I felt about this Supergirl movie.
- 7:33SPEAKER_02: And again, I'm not dogging Supergirl, I love Supergirl, and it could just be like that I was crippled because of my love for Supergirl, but at the same time, like I loved Superman and everything else.
- 7:47SPEAKER_02: I I love Batman, I had no problem with Ben Affleck's Batman, so like I don't know.
- 7:54SPEAKER_02: To me, it wasn't a supergirl movie.
- 7:57SPEAKER_02: Was it a good superhero movie?
- 8:00SPEAKER_02: Sure, yeah, but not a good supergirl movie.
- 8:04SPEAKER_02: I still think people need to give it the time of day.
- 8:07SPEAKER_02: I do think it was weird that James Gunn, as the studio head, was like, let's have our second movie be a B, someone argues C rated character.
- 8:19SPEAKER_02: Um and uh because everyone knows the Big Three, Wonder Woman, Batman, and Superman, the fact that James Gunn was like, hey, we're gonna have the big four and we're gonna add Supergirl in that.
- 8:31SPEAKER_02: I was also expecting more out of this movie for the first for the second movie to introduce the Big Four, basically.
- 8:40SPEAKER_02: So that was another disappointment that I had with this movie, too.
- 8:44SPEAKER_06: Uh they've been on record saying that they uh the Big Three weren't gonna show up until the second Superman movie.
- 8:53SPEAKER_02: Uh that actually has not been confirmed.
- 8:55SPEAKER_06: I know, but everyone has been s talking about it and saying that it's not gonna, but it's not gonna what I'm saying is it's not gonna happen.
- 9:02SPEAKER_06: Uh I think it will if the villain's right.
- 9:05SPEAKER_02: Okay, the villains brainiac.
- 9:06SPEAKER_06: I know.
- 9:07SPEAKER_06: So you got it.
- 9:08SPEAKER_02: Okay, at least we're using it.
- 9:10SPEAKER_02: I'm actually, Cody, I need you to listen on this part.
- 9:12SPEAKER_02: I will listen.
- 9:13SPEAKER_02: I will bet you, Cody, listen, please.
- 9:15SPEAKER_02: I bet you Cody's like, that's all I freaking do on this podcast.
- 9:21SPEAKER_02: Listen.
- 9:23SPEAKER_02: Um uh I bet you, I'll say 20.
- 9:27SPEAKER_02: I bet you$20.
- 9:30SPEAKER_02: Dollars, not doll hairs.
- 9:33SPEAKER_02: Dollars.
- 9:34SPEAKER_02: Not the Lorjes.
- 9:35SPEAKER_02: Not Dolores.
- 9:36SPEAKER_07: The Lorges.
- 9:37SPEAKER_02: Okay?
- 9:38SPEAKER_02: Daenerys.
- 9:39SPEAKER_02: Not Denaro.
- 9:40SPEAKER_02: I'll I'll promise you 20 denaros.
- 9:44SPEAKER_02: I I I bet you$20.
- 9:46SPEAKER_02: We will not.
- 9:49SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna put a cap on this.
- 9:50SPEAKER_02: We're talking about the main movie, not after credit.
- 9:54SPEAKER_02: Bullcrap, okay?
- 9:55SPEAKER_02: Sake of the credit start, mid and after credit doesn't count.
- 9:58SPEAKER_02: Okay?
- 9:59SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 10:00SPEAKER_02: $20, Wonder Woman and Batman will not show up in Man of Tomorrow next year.
- 10:12SPEAKER_06: I'll do it for the ore.
- 10:13SPEAKER_06: Wonder Woman or you think or?
- 10:18SPEAKER_06: It's one of them.
- 10:19SPEAKER_06: One of them will.
- 10:20SPEAKER_02: You okay, so okay.
- 10:22SPEAKER_02: If one of them sh well, since I did both, since one of them showed up.
- 10:27SPEAKER_02: Uh if if it's not since, yeah, I can see it in the future.
- 10:30SPEAKER_02: When one of them shows up, I owe you$20.
- 10:33SPEAKER_06: Okay.
- 10:34SPEAKER_02: Cool.
- 10:35SPEAKER_06: And if they don't show up, I'll owe you$20,000 pennies.
- 10:39SPEAKER_02: When I'll take it.
- 10:42SPEAKER_02: That's you think you think that's my problem?
- 10:45SPEAKER_02: You gotta be the one who's gonna be able to get away.
- 10:46SPEAKER_02: Actually, I can't do$20,000.
- 10:47SPEAKER_02: I take that back.
- 10:48SPEAKER_02: I can't do that anymore.
- 10:49SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 10:50SPEAKER_02: You think it's my problem?
- 10:52SPEAKER_02: That's your problem.
- 10:53SPEAKER_06: Well, like 20,000 pennies equals nothing now.
- 10:56SPEAKER_02: No, because now I'm ri I gotta it's gonna be worth something in like five years.
- 11:01SPEAKER_02: It's like, yo, is that a penny?
- 11:03SPEAKER_02: Like, that's right.
- 11:06SPEAKER_02: 90% zinc, 10% copper, right?
- 11:09SPEAKER_02: Just lick it.
- 11:10SPEAKER_02: Lick it.
- 11:11SPEAKER_02: Put it in your mouth like a child.
- 11:12SPEAKER_02: Oh, I choked on so many of these when I was a kid.
- 11:15SPEAKER_02: Like, okay.
- 11:16SPEAKER_02: Anyways, um, that's on record.
- 11:20SPEAKER_02: You got that?
- 11:20SPEAKER_02: Did you write that down, Cody?
- 11:22SPEAKER_02: Yep, you got it?
- 11:22SPEAKER_02: Cool.
- 11:23SPEAKER_02: It's gonna be on the internet, it's forever.
- 11:24SPEAKER_02: Really?
- 11:25SPEAKER_02: Uh okay, yeah.
- 11:26SPEAKER_02: Like all of our other episodes of this podcast.
- 11:29SPEAKER_02: They're still out there.
- 11:30SPEAKER_02: Somewhere.
- 11:31SPEAKER_02: Um okay.
- 11:33SPEAKER_02: This is why I say Spider-Man has potential of being a$2 billion film.
- 11:39SPEAKER_02: Okay?
- 11:39SPEAKER_02: Numbers don't lie.
- 11:42SPEAKER_02: Projections can alter, but numbers don't lie.
- 11:45SPEAKER_02: Let's go back to 2017, baby.
- 11:48SPEAKER_02: Spider-Man Homecoming.
- 11:50SPEAKER_02: Globally made$880 million.
- 11:54SPEAKER_02: That's not right.
- 11:55SPEAKER_08: That's probably accurate.
- 11:57SPEAKER_02: No, hold on, hold on, hold on.
- 11:59SPEAKER_06: I'm sorry, you said numbers don't lie, right?
- 12:02SPEAKER_06: You got that, right?
- 12:03SPEAKER_00: Hold on.
- 12:04SPEAKER_02: Hold on.
- 12:05SPEAKER_02: No, yeah, hold on.
- 12:06SPEAKER_02: One second.
- 12:07SPEAKER_02: Gosh darn.
- 12:08SPEAKER_02: This freaking thing.
- 12:10SPEAKER_02: Homecoming.
- 12:10SPEAKER_02: Here we go.
- 12:11SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 12:12SPEAKER_02: Oh, that is right.
- 12:14SPEAKER_02: I thought it made less.
- 12:16SPEAKER_08: So you so you're saying it's gonna do a billion, but you thought the first one made less than what it did.
- 12:23SPEAKER_02: I thought the first one made like I guess I was thinking of the international numbers.
- 12:26SPEAKER_02: I thought it made like 500 million.
- 12:28SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 12:29SPEAKER_02: Alright.
- 12:29SPEAKER_02: Alright, well, look at me.
- 12:31SPEAKER_08: Does that count any re-releases on this?
- 12:35SPEAKER_08: Because if they re-released it, that adds to the box office now.
- 12:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but still money is money.
- 12:40SPEAKER_08: Well, yeah, but it's gonna throw off what you might have thought.
- 12:43SPEAKER_06: It'll throw off your initial.
- 12:46SPEAKER_02: Okay, I think the most a movie's made on a re-release is like$20 million.
- 12:50SPEAKER_02: So we could take this give or take$20 million.
- 12:52SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 12:53SPEAKER_02: So, anyways, and I think that was like Lord of the Rings or something stupid like that.
- 12:58SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 12:59SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 13:00SPEAKER_02: Anyways, we're wrong.
- 13:01SPEAKER_02: Remember, we're wrong.
- 13:03unknown: So much confidence.
- 13:05SPEAKER_02: You got so much confidence in here.
- 13:07SPEAKER_02: It's spewing out of my ears.
- 13:08SPEAKER_02: Anyways, so Homecoming,$880 million, okay?
- 13:13SPEAKER_02: Spider-Man IP is amazing.
- 13:14SPEAKER_02: Everyone loves Spider-Man.
- 13:16SPEAKER_02: If you don't, you're a liar, okay?
- 13:17SPEAKER_08: Unless you play Magic.
- 13:19SPEAKER_02: Um, no, you still love him.
- 13:22SPEAKER_02: You just love to hate.
- 13:23SPEAKER_02: Anyways.
- 13:24SPEAKER_02: Next is far from home.
- 13:26SPEAKER_02: That one made$1.1 billion.
- 13:30SPEAKER_02: It made$200 million more than the first one, okay?
- 13:34SPEAKER_02: You made$400.
- 13:36SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 13:37SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 13:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 13:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 13:41SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 13:42SPEAKER_02: Spider-Man No Way Home.
- 13:44SPEAKER_02: $1.9 billion.
- 13:49SPEAKER_02: It was, what is that?
- 13:51unknown: $90 million.
- 13:52SPEAKER_02: $90 million away from joining the$2 billion club.
- 13:59SPEAKER_02: That is a son of a gun, especially three movies.
- 14:04SPEAKER_02: And the first one made$880 million.
- 14:07SPEAKER_02: Now we're at a freaking nosehair away from$2 billion.
- 14:13SPEAKER_02: That is why I say, that is why I say the Odyssey has potential to make a billion.
- 14:20SPEAKER_02: Only two R-rated movies in history have made a billion dollars.
- 14:23SPEAKER_02: They're both comic book movies, ironically enough.
- 14:25SPEAKER_02: That's Deadpool and Wolverine, which made the most, and then it's The Joker, which is the first R-rated movie to make a billion dollars, and it's really good.
- 14:33SPEAKER_02: Not the second one, the first one.
- 14:35SPEAKER_02: So I never saw it.
- 14:39SPEAKER_02: It's bad.
- 14:40SPEAKER_02: That's uh that's why I haven't seen it yet.
- 14:42SPEAKER_02: Um I saw The Odyssey.
- 14:45SPEAKER_02: It is the perfect movie.
- 14:46SPEAKER_02: 10 out of 10, 5 stars, two thumbs up.
- 14:50SPEAKER_02: I think it will make a billion dollars.
- 14:53SPEAKER_02: And by the way, before everyone's like this guy over here throwing out billion of dollars, there's only been like 14 or 16 movies ever that have made a billion dollars.
- 15:04SPEAKER_02: I understand it's a very exclusive exclusive club.
- 15:08SPEAKER_02: And then you have the more exclusive, which is a two billion dollar club, which only like four or five movies have ever made.
- 15:13SPEAKER_02: Okay?
- 15:14SPEAKER_02: So yeah, you got you got Titanic, Avatar, Avatar, um way of water.
- 15:21SPEAKER_02: It that one didn't make two billion.
- 15:23SPEAKER_06: You said Avatar twice.
- 15:24SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 15:25SPEAKER_02: Oh yeah.
- 15:25SPEAKER_02: Sorry, I was thinking, shut up.
- 15:27SPEAKER_02: Um Titanic, Avatar, Avatar.
- 15:31SPEAKER_08: Titanic just after an adjustment for inflation, though.
- 15:34SPEAKER_08: Like I don't think it's a good one.
- 15:35SPEAKER_02: No, no, it no, it made two billion dollars.
- 15:38SPEAKER_08: You sure?
- 15:39SPEAKER_02: 100%.
- 15:40SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 15:40SPEAKER_02: 100%.
- 15:41SPEAKER_02: Plus, you can't adjust for inflation because if you're adjusted for inflation, you have to also adjust for a bunch of other things too.
- 15:46SPEAKER_02: We're not talking about that.
- 15:47SPEAKER_02: Anyways, so Titanic, Avatar 1, Avatar 2, Endgame, and Infinity War.
- 15:55SPEAKER_08: I can tell you right now, Avatar 2 did not make 2 billion.
- 15:59SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
- 15:59SPEAKER_08: You said Avatar 2 back.
- 16:01SPEAKER_08: Yeah, Avatar.
- 16:04SPEAKER_08: I don't even know if it made a billion.
- 16:05SPEAKER_02: You guys are about to freaking get your minds blown here.
- 16:23SPEAKER_02: I know the spelling.
- 16:26SPEAKER_02: Avatar won,$2.92 billion.
- 16:30SPEAKER_02: Avengers Endgame,$2.79 billion.
- 16:33SPEAKER_02: Way of Water,$2.33 billion.
- 16:37SPEAKER_02: Titanic,$2.2 billion.
- 16:40SPEAKER_02: Star Wars Episode 7, that's the one I forgot.
- 16:42SPEAKER_02: $2.07 billion.
- 16:44SPEAKER_02: And Avengers Infinity War,$2.05 billion.
- 16:47SPEAKER_02: We are not counting this one.
- 16:49SPEAKER_02: I will explain off camera why this actually doesn't count.
- 16:53SPEAKER_02: And there's an actual viable.
- 16:55SPEAKER_02: What is that?
- 16:56SPEAKER_03: Netflix release?
- 16:57SPEAKER_02: No, it's a Chinese release.
- 16:58SPEAKER_02: I'll just say right now.
- 17:00SPEAKER_02: So every nation except for China puts their box office numbers to a third-party distributor to verify the box office numbers.
- 17:10SPEAKER_02: Um Nizan 2.
- 17:13SPEAKER_06: Oh, the animated one.
- 17:14SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 17:15SPEAKER_02: China is the only country that does not.
- 17:20SPEAKER_02: Country?
- 17:21SPEAKER_02: Continent?
- 17:21SPEAKER_02: Country.
- 17:22SPEAKER_02: Country, yeah.
- 17:23SPEAKER_02: Sorry.
- 17:23SPEAKER_02: Continent would be H.
- 17:24SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 17:25SPEAKER_02: The only country that does not submit their box office numbers to a third party, they just submit it straight.
- 17:32SPEAKER_02: So anything that's made in China and through the Chinese, like Hollywood basically, and stuff like that, when it gets submitted, when they submit their box office, it's just them submitting it.
- 17:43SPEAKER_02: They don't have a third party, second guessing everything.
- 17:47SPEAKER_02: And if you were to take it seriously, this movie made$2 billion in a month.
- 17:54SPEAKER_02: And then all of a sudden didn't make any more money.
- 17:57SPEAKER_02: So that still doesn't make sense.
- 18:02SPEAKER_02: Anyways, shut up.
- 18:04SPEAKER_02: I almost thought you were serious that I saw that little thing in your eye and I was like, oh, he's messing with me.
- 18:10SPEAKER_02: So, anyways, yes.
- 18:11SPEAKER_02: And then there are uh out of all these movies, of the one, two, three, four, five, six movies that have made two billion dollars, three of them are James Cameron, two of them are comic book, and one of them is flipping Star Wars, baby.
- 18:27SPEAKER_06: Three of those are James Cameron.
- 18:29SPEAKER_02: That's why I said three.
- 18:30SPEAKER_02: I thought you said two.
- 18:30SPEAKER_02: No, two of them are comic books.
- 18:32SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 18:32SPEAKER_02: So, comic book movies.
- 18:34SPEAKER_02: So, anyways, so yes, when I say Odyssey billion dollars, I understand the exclusiveness of the billion dollar club.
- 18:41SPEAKER_02: I understand the VIP exclusiveness of the two billion dollar club, but that's but because and because of that huge exclusiveness, because of the numbers we just saw with Spider-Man, that's why I'm like, I'm not saying it's going to make two billion.
- 18:55SPEAKER_02: I'm saying Spider-Man has potential.
- 18:58SPEAKER_06: Yeah, and all I said was I don't think it'll make two billion.
- 19:00SPEAKER_02: Well, you said because of the pattern, and I'm like, look at this.
- 19:04SPEAKER_05: Look at this.
- 19:05SPEAKER_05: Not the pattern of Spider-Man movies, the pattern of the past ten superhero movies.
- 19:09SPEAKER_02: Okay, but like then you uh we have other stuff to talk about.
- 19:13SPEAKER_05: Yes.
- 19:14SPEAKER_05: Yes, we do.
- 19:15SPEAKER_02: Anyway, anyways, uh, Cody, what do you think?
- 19:19SPEAKER_08: On if it's gonna make a billion?
- 19:22SPEAKER_08: Two billion.
- 19:23SPEAKER_08: Two billion.
- 19:24SPEAKER_08: I mean, I don't think it's hitting two.
- 19:26SPEAKER_08: I think the only reason the last one got that close was because it had the previous two Spider-Man in it.
- 19:33SPEAKER_08: This one I don't think is gonna hit two.
- 19:35SPEAKER_08: I mean, it might hit one, but yeah, if you look at the last ten superhero movies, it's it's honestly a pretty mixed bag.
- 19:45SPEAKER_08: Some have done really well and some have done absolutely terrible.
- 19:49SPEAKER_08: So this one will probably be on the plus side.
- 19:52SPEAKER_08: It's probably gonna be way better.
- 19:53SPEAKER_08: Like Supergirl's probably the downside, one where Spider-Man's gonna probably do it'll probably do over a billion because it's Tom Holland and Zendaya, and everything they touch turns to gold at this point.
- 20:07SPEAKER_07: I love gold.
- 20:11SPEAKER_07: I bet you haven't seen that movie yet.
- 20:12SPEAKER_02: See, if you want to talk about everything touched they touched turns to gold, they're both in the Odyssey.
- 20:17SPEAKER_08: That's why I said it.
- 20:19SPEAKER_06: So, um Oh, she's taking a break after uh Spider-Man?
- 20:24SPEAKER_06: Yeah, Spider-Man.
- 20:26SPEAKER_02: She has she has Odyssey, Spider-Man, and Dune 3 coming out.
- 20:30SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 20:30SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 20:31SPEAKER_08: Those are all three probably like a billion-dollar movies.
- 20:34SPEAKER_02: I thought Dune 3 and Odyssey were gonna fight on what movie's gonna be the movie of the year.
- 20:40SPEAKER_02: I'm I'm gonna say right now, it this it's the opening weekend of the Odyssey, okay?
- 20:43SPEAKER_02: So we're in July.
- 20:45SPEAKER_02: I don't care how good Dune 3 is, I don't care how good Doomsday is, I don't care how good Spider-Man is, I don't care how good um any other movie coming out is.
- 20:54SPEAKER_02: Odyssey's the movie of the year of 2026.
- 20:57SPEAKER_02: It is.
- 20:57SPEAKER_08: We'll see what the Oscars tell us.
- 21:00SPEAKER_02: I don't care what they I don't care what they say.
- 21:03SPEAKER_02: It is.
- 21:04SPEAKER_02: It's it is the hard thing is who's gonna get an Academy Award?
- 21:09SPEAKER_02: Matt Damon or Tom Cruise?
- 21:12SPEAKER_02: But that's all neither here nor there.
- 21:13SPEAKER_02: Oh, um, relevance.
- 21:15SPEAKER_02: Um the merger might not happen with Paramount and Warner Brothers anymore.
- 21:21SPEAKER_02: Lawsuits are finally being filed in the U.S.
- 21:23SPEAKER_02: and in the uh EU, uh, which is wild.
- 21:27SPEAKER_02: If they do not close a deal by October, there was a clause in the contract between Paramount and Warner Brothers that Paramount would have to play pay the Warner Brothers shareholders six hundred million dollars a quarter.
- 21:49SPEAKER_02: Which equals to about six sorry billion.
- 21:54SPEAKER_02: Yeah, six million six hundred million dollars a quarter, sorry.
- 21:57SPEAKER_02: Which equals to about like six
- 22:00SPEAKER_08: Four billion a year.
- 22:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 22:04SPEAKER_02: So no, it's okay.
- 22:05SPEAKER_02: No, it's fine.
- 22:06SPEAKER_02: It's fine.
- 22:06SPEAKER_02: Anyways, so that's another thing.
- 22:10SPEAKER_02: The judge right the judge right the judge right now is determining whether or not the lawsuits could go through, but they could still do the merge, or the lawsuits go through and they have to pause the merge.
- 22:24SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 22:25SPEAKER_02: So that's what's in the limbo right now.
- 22:28SPEAKER_02: Um and I think I'll just be vague about it.
- 22:32SPEAKER_02: I think John Campus theory about Netflix and Warner Brothers is true.
- 22:37SPEAKER_02: And I think they're playing the smart game.
- 22:40SPEAKER_02: I would say that up until now, I'd be like, yeah, of course the merger's going through.
- 22:44SPEAKER_02: If the judge says no, they can't merge during the lawsuits, then um, I don't think the merger is happening.
- 22:52SPEAKER_02: So anyway.
- 22:55SPEAKER_06: I forgot.
- 22:57SPEAKER_06: John was wrong.
- 22:58SPEAKER_06: Greatest movie that's coming out this year hasn't come out yet.
- 23:02SPEAKER_06: It comes out next Saturday.
- 23:04SPEAKER_06: Sorry, next Friday.
- 23:05SPEAKER_02: There's a movie coming out next week?
- 23:07SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 23:08SPEAKER_06: What?
- 23:08SPEAKER_06: Next Friday.
- 23:09SPEAKER_06: What?
- 23:09SPEAKER_06: It's the greatest movie that could come out this year.
- 23:12SPEAKER_02: Oh, is this Super Troopers 3?
- 23:14SPEAKER_06: No.
- 23:15SPEAKER_02: Oh.
- 23:16SPEAKER_06: It's Aang.
- 23:18SPEAKER_08: They know what you're talking about, Alex.
- 23:24SPEAKER_08: Unfortunately, we're not getting a theatrical release for it unless you live in LA or New York.
- 23:29SPEAKER_08: That's bull crap, by the way.
- 23:31SPEAKER_08: Oh, agreed.
- 23:32SPEAKER_08: Like, fans of the Avatar Last Airband franchise have been fighting for this movie to have a theatrical release since Paramount pulled it.
- 23:40SPEAKER_02: I'm curious if it's gonna be good or not because they almost supergirl or background it because everyone said it was a bad movie at the studio.
- 23:47SPEAKER_08: I suppose the studio doesn't know it.
- 23:49SPEAKER_08: The studio doesn't know it.
- 23:50SPEAKER_08: Paramount has no idea what they're doing.
- 23:53SPEAKER_02: You can't say they don't know what they're doing when they're gonna pop gun maverick.
- 23:57SPEAKER_06: The reason they pulled Avatar from theaters was because they said 2D animation isn't cutting it like 3D animation.
- 24:05SPEAKER_02: That wasn't the reason, but that was something uh one of the representatives did say, which I thought was kind of weird.
- 24:12SPEAKER_08: I would argue Paramount doesn't know what they're doing, at least with this franchise.
- 24:16SPEAKER_08: Nickelodeon made an entire studio dedicated to just this franchise, and then Paramount now owns them and seems like they don't know what the heck they're doing with it.
- 24:29SPEAKER_02: I here's the thing.
- 24:31SPEAKER_02: I I I have no beef with David Allison.
- 24:34SPEAKER_02: He's if you watch his interviews and whatnot, he clearly loves cinema, he clearly loves movies, he clearly, like, before this whole Warner Brothers thing came out, he was like, dude, we're dedicated to reamp Star Trek, which I was like, whoa.
- 24:48SPEAKER_02: They announced top uh Top Gun 3, which is crazy.
- 24:53SPEAKER_06: Did he pull my Avatar movie?
- 24:54SPEAKER_02: Uh no, it wasn't him.
- 24:56SPEAKER_02: This was pre-him.
- 24:57SPEAKER_06: It was pre-him?
- 24:57SPEAKER_02: Yeah, no, no, no.
- 24:58SPEAKER_02: So all the decisions about Avatar, like, yeah, he was in the he was CEO when it happened, but like the stuff.
- 25:06SPEAKER_02: No, gosh darn.
- 25:08SPEAKER_02: The stuff that's like blaming Bob Iger for Bob JPEG stuff.
- 25:12SPEAKER_02: Like, and JPEG.
- 25:13SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh.
- 25:15SPEAKER_02: He didn't pull it.
- 25:16SPEAKER_02: That's like the per that was already predetermined.
- 25:18SPEAKER_02: I don't even know if he had the power to pull it back.
- 25:22SPEAKER_02: Anyways, I I admire David Ellison's passion for cinema.
- 25:27SPEAKER_02: For business.
- 25:29SPEAKER_02: I understand his dad's like the richest person in the world, but and you know, I won't ever be in his footsteps or shoes, but maybe you shouldn't uh rely on your dad for all your business decisions.
- 25:43unknown: Yeah.
- 25:44SPEAKER_02: Personally, but other other than that, I got no beef with the guy.
- 25:47SPEAKER_02: I didn't know he was 43.
- 25:48SPEAKER_08: Especially if his dad's not involved in the industry.
- 25:52SPEAKER_02: Exactly, and that's the hard part.
- 25:53SPEAKER_02: Like, his dad has his own really good thing going, but then he's like pulling his dad in of like, hey, I need another 40 billion dollars for this Paramount thing.
- 26:03SPEAKER_02: It's like, bro, Paramount's Paramount's got it.
- 26:06SPEAKER_02: Like, let it bring back Star Trek.
- 26:09SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 26:10SPEAKER_02: Oh! That reminds me about Paramount and whatnot.
- 26:14SPEAKER_02: Uh, Daniel McBride.
- 26:15SPEAKER_02: We talked about this at Pleasantry's last recording.
- 26:18unknown: Yes.
- 26:18SPEAKER_02: Um, he's making his first uh directorial debut.
- 26:23SPEAKER_02: Guess what movie he's gonna direct?
- 26:25SPEAKER_02: I'll give you a hint, Hasbro.
- 26:29SPEAKER_06: G.I.
- 26:29SPEAKER_06: Joe.
- 26:30SPEAKER_02: Yeah, baby! He wrote it and he's directing it.
- 26:34SPEAKER_06: Does it have the Autobots in it?
- 26:36SPEAKER_06: GI Joe?
- 26:37SPEAKER_02: What?
- 26:37SPEAKER_08: We're doing another G.I.
- 26:38SPEAKER_06: Joe?
- 26:39SPEAKER_06: Yes! Okay.
- 26:41SPEAKER_06: Well, those G.I.
- 26:42SPEAKER_06: Joe's, it's been like 20 years since they came out, didn't it?
- 26:45SPEAKER_06: We had a Channing Tatum G.I.
- 26:47SPEAKER_06: Joe.
- 26:48SPEAKER_08: When isn't that 20 years ago?
- 26:51SPEAKER_08: I'm pretty sure it was after 05.
- 26:54SPEAKER_08: Sorry, after 06.
- 26:56SPEAKER_08: I don't remember Channing Tatum being in much by 06.
- 27:01SPEAKER_00: 2009.
- 27:03SPEAKER_02: Okay, so it's pushing it.
- 27:05SPEAKER_02: So the the last G.I.
- 27:07SPEAKER_02: Joe project was Snake Eyes.
- 27:10SPEAKER_02: Which should have been good.
- 27:11SPEAKER_02: That was 2021.
- 27:13SPEAKER_02: Before that was 2013, then 2009.
- 27:17SPEAKER_02: And then, of course, at the end of Rise of the Beasts, Transformers, they had GI they had the G.I.
- 27:23SPEAKER_02: Joe show up.
- 27:24SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 27:24SPEAKER_02: Which is pretty cool.
- 27:25SPEAKER_06: So and then the best part of that movie.
- 27:28SPEAKER_06: Right.
- 27:28SPEAKER_02: No, shut up! That was a good movie.
- 27:30SPEAKER_02: It was okay.
- 27:31SPEAKER_02: It was an okay movie.
- 27:33SPEAKER_06: The best part was whatever he's the end.
- 27:36SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 27:36SPEAKER_02: It's probably the best okay movie.
- 27:39SPEAKER_02: But um, they already announced a crossover like two cinemacons ago.
- 27:43SPEAKER_02: I don't know if this will be it or if this will help with that.
- 27:47SPEAKER_02: But Daniel McBride, directorial debut, G.I.
- 27:52SPEAKER_02: Joe.
- 27:53SPEAKER_04: Yep.
- 27:55SPEAKER_02: Anyway, you someone died.
- 27:58SPEAKER_02: You talk about it.
- 28:00SPEAKER_06: Why do you sound happy about it?
- 28:04SPEAKER_08: We're finally talking about what they wanted to talk about.
- 28:06SPEAKER_08: Yes.
- 28:07SPEAKER_02: Why'd you sound so happy about that?
- 28:09SPEAKER_08: I I did it.
- 28:10SPEAKER_08: I'm just, you got me.
- 28:11unknown: Don't make it.
- 28:12SPEAKER_02: I said right off the bat of this podcast, like, I am I am hot right now with energy.
- 28:18SPEAKER_02: So I'm sorry.
- 28:20SPEAKER_02: Um, I'll be a little more somber about it.
- 28:24SPEAKER_02: We lost a great actor this week.
- 28:27SPEAKER_02: Um, and I'm gonna have Alex talk about it because it's something he wants to talk about, and and we'll just talk about it for a minute, then we'll get into our uh discussion for today.
- 28:37SPEAKER_05: That's fair.
- 28:38SPEAKER_06: Uh so we lost Sam Neil, which was a great actor.
- 28:42SPEAKER_06: I know he's been battling cancer for quite some time now.
- 28:46SPEAKER_06: Uh, don't know the exact period of time, but uh his last movie is going to be I wanna say Godzilla, baby! Yep, that's it.
- 28:57SPEAKER_06: Yeah! His last movie will be coming out in Godzilla X Kong Supernova.
- 29:02SPEAKER_02: In March.
- 29:02SPEAKER_06: In March.
- 29:03SPEAKER_06: Uh, but I don't know.
- 29:05SPEAKER_06: He's one of our favorite doctors from Jurassic Park, one of our favorite antagonists in cosmic horror and Event Horizon, and he hunted Sean Connery for God's sakes in a submarine.
- 29:19SPEAKER_08: So I got nothing to add.
- 29:23SPEAKER_08: I've seen one of his movies and that's it.
- 29:25SPEAKER_02: Which one?
- 29:26SPEAKER_08: Jurassic Park 3.
- 29:28SPEAKER_08: Yes, I know.
- 29:29SPEAKER_08: It's weird.
- 29:30SPEAKER_08: It was literally because on I think it was like TNT or whatever, when they would reshow movies, it was always number three was the one they showed.
- 29:40SPEAKER_08: So that's it.
- 29:43SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 29:44SPEAKER_02: Um okay.
- 29:46SPEAKER_02: I mean it's not look, I liked Jurassic Park 3, but that's because I was eight when it came out, I think.
- 29:55SPEAKER_02: So, whatever.
- 29:56SPEAKER_02: Plus, you finally got to see those two dinosaurs duke it out, and like as a child, I'm like, whoa.
- 30:02SPEAKER_02: So um my favorite Sam Neal role, which I don't know why no one has mentioned, was The Father and Bicentennial Man.
- 30:11SPEAKER_06: That's a I talked to Cody about that on the phone.
- 30:14SPEAKER_06: That was a really good one.
- 30:15SPEAKER_06: Because I was sitting there and I was like, no, he was he was a family man at one point, and this and that, and then I was like, oh yeah, it's Robin Williams, Bicentennial Man.
- 30:23SPEAKER_06: But that movie's also super sad.
- 30:26unknown: Yeah! Yeah, it is, dude.
- 30:28SPEAKER_02: Friggin', I was I remember we watched it in eighth grade, like in a classroom, and like we're all just trying not to cry.
- 30:35SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 30:36SPEAKER_02: Like, it's but like his role in teaching uh what was Robin Williams' character, the robot.
- 30:43SPEAKER_02: I think it was Alan.
- 30:44SPEAKER_06: I feel like it's Alan.
- 30:45SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna actually look that up real quick.
- 30:48SPEAKER_02: Um, but uh by there we go.
- 30:52SPEAKER_00: Bicentennial man.
- 30:54SPEAKER_02: Andrew.
- 30:55SPEAKER_02: It was Andrew, there we go.
- 30:56SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 30:57SPEAKER_02: Um he was him as Sir Richard Martin was such a important character for the development of uh Andrew Martin, Robin Williams' character.
- 31:12SPEAKER_06: And well, yeah, because AI taught him like emotions.
- 31:16SPEAKER_02: Well, it but it was weird because he he recognized that this bicentennial man was different and looked at the world different.
- 31:27SPEAKER_02: And if you were if he was assigned to any other family, they would have reset him, threw him away, rebooted him, whatever.
- 31:34SPEAKER_02: But Sam Neil's character saw the potential of this robot to be a human.
- 31:41SPEAKER_02: And then the whole it's like the positive side of Frankenstein of like what makes you human, what makes you a monster, you know, where this is like what makes you a human or make what makes you an entity that loves, you know, or is an entity that loves a human, you know.
- 31:56SPEAKER_02: And uh I'm willing to say that um just like Data and Star Trek, I don't think Andrew was a human being at the end, but he was closer to a human being than most people will ever be.
- 32:13SPEAKER_06: Wrong.
- 32:18SPEAKER_02: Okay, that is true.
- 32:19SPEAKER_02: Actually, he died when they were telling him.
- 32:21SPEAKER_02: He did.
- 32:21SPEAKER_02: He actually didn't hear it.
- 32:23SPEAKER_02: No.
- 32:23SPEAKER_02: And then oh yeah, and then there was the euthanasia at the end.
- 32:27SPEAKER_02: Well, she she kind of just said, uh, I'm ready to go to and like pulled the machine and we actually one of the reasons it's eighth grade that we watched that movie was so that we could talk about euthanasia, but I was like, that's not the freaking end of the movie.
- 32:41SPEAKER_02: Why did we like any excuse to watch Bicentennial Man, I guess.
- 32:47SPEAKER_02: Like But any uh but yeah, that's my favorite uh Sam Neal role.
- 32:52SPEAKER_02: I mean, of course Jurassic Park is my favorite, but like it's like what's your favorite.
- 32:57SPEAKER_06: See, mine's actually not either of these.
- 32:59SPEAKER_06: Mine's mine's Event Horizons.
- 33:01SPEAKER_06: I love Event Horizons.
- 33:03SPEAKER_02: I cannot oh my gosh.
- 33:06SPEAKER_06: I love it.
- 33:07SPEAKER_02: It scares me so much.
- 33:08SPEAKER_02: I can't.
- 33:09SPEAKER_06: I love it.
- 33:09SPEAKER_06: I don't know why.
- 33:10SPEAKER_06: I just it's one of my favorite sci-fi horror movies ever.
- 33:13SPEAKER_06: It's great.
- 33:14SPEAKER_02: It's terrifying.
- 33:16SPEAKER_06: Like getting trapped in an airlock and your eyes exploding.
- 33:21SPEAKER_02: Everything about that movie.
- 33:23SPEAKER_02: That's the first.
- 33:24SPEAKER_02: I didn't even watch the movie, I just saw clips.
- 33:26SPEAKER_02: That's the first time I felt like the most the most uneased and unsettled in a horror movie ever.
- 33:34SPEAKER_02: Like I I couldn't.
- 33:36SPEAKER_02: I got nightmares, I got scared, I cried, I could not with that movie.
- 33:40SPEAKER_02: I don't know what it was, but anyway, so unfortunately we did lose Sam Neal this week, so alright.
- 33:48SPEAKER_06: You want to bring us into what we're supposed to be talking about?
- 33:52SPEAKER_06: I guess I can.
- 33:54SPEAKER_06: I thought that was your job.
- 33:55SPEAKER_06: I can do it, but uh it's up to you.
- 33:59SPEAKER_06: Go for it.
- 34:00SPEAKER_06: Okay.
- 34:00SPEAKER_06: Alright.
- 34:01SPEAKER_06: The main topic of today.
- 34:03SPEAKER_06: I was advised to give a parental advisory.
- 34:09SPEAKER_06: So, children, adults who can't handle funny grown-up topics and whatnot.
- 34:17SPEAKER_08: Mostly profanity.
- 34:18SPEAKER_08: Like sex?
- 34:19SPEAKER_08: No, anyways.
- 34:20SPEAKER_06: No.
- 34:20SPEAKER_06: Well today we're gonna just ramble off a few of our favorite uh be careful, I'm getting ready to say it.
- 34:26SPEAKER_06: I'm gonna give you a countdown.
- 34:27SPEAKER_06: One, two, three.
- 34:30SPEAKER_06: We're gonna say our favorite profanities or fuck bombs.
- 34:34SPEAKER_06: I know, right.
- 34:34SPEAKER_06: I said it.
- 34:35SPEAKER_06: I said it uh in movies.
- 34:38SPEAKER_06: Uh not like a list, just kind of talking about the ones we find to be like super funny or ones that work really well for the movies.
- 34:46SPEAKER_06: But I have to say profanity lines, because maybe not all of them be fuck.
- 34:50SPEAKER_06: They might be ass.
- 34:51SPEAKER_00: Whoa!
- 34:52SPEAKER_06: Or shit.
- 34:54SPEAKER_02: So this is gonna be a hard one for me because I don't swear.
- 34:59SPEAKER_02: So I will be doing substitute words like fetch or but or crap.
- 35:08SPEAKER_02: So just bear with me, people.
- 35:15SPEAKER_08: Are we going me first?
- 35:16SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
- 35:17SPEAKER_08: Okay.
- 35:17SPEAKER_08: Sput it all the way to you.
- 35:19SPEAKER_08: Sure, I guess I'm starting.
- 35:21SPEAKER_08: Uh one I forgot about until I looked into it a second ago.
- 35:26SPEAKER_08: Uh, is from Happy Gilmore.
- 35:29SPEAKER_08: I don't know if you all even know which one I'm talking about.
- 35:32SPEAKER_08: It's I gotta find it again.
- 35:35SPEAKER_02: Is it the jackass one?
- 35:37SPEAKER_08: No.
- 35:38SPEAKER_08: It's I eat pieces of shit like you for breakfast.
- 35:42SPEAKER_08: You eat pieces of shit for breakfast?
- 35:45SPEAKER_08: That's a good one.
- 35:49SPEAKER_02: The the amount the the amount of confidence he had when he's like, I eat pieces of crap like you for breakfast.
- 35:55SPEAKER_08: Like, there was so much confidence in that, and then it's like you didn't really you didn't really hear what you had to say, did you there, but I'm a big Adam Sandler fan, so finding that one again, I was like, that's gotta be on here.
- 36:11SPEAKER_08: I mean, Happy Gilmore's fantastic.
- 36:14SPEAKER_08: That line just comes out of nowhere.
- 36:17SPEAKER_02: That's it's hilarious.
- 36:19SPEAKER_02: Yeah, uh we should stick with Cody or you go next.
- 36:22SPEAKER_02: Uh, it's whatever, you can go next.
- 36:24SPEAKER_02: Alright, you can go next, cool.
- 36:25SPEAKER_06: So, one of my favorite ones, and it's only because it took me so off guard and I wasn't ready for it, was Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3.
- 36:34SPEAKER_06: With Peter Quill and uh Oh my god, I can't think of her name.
- 36:40SPEAKER_06: Blue chick.
- 36:41SPEAKER_06: What's the blue chick's name?
- 36:42SPEAKER_06: Nebula.
- 36:43SPEAKER_06: Nebula.
- 36:44SPEAKER_06: They're trying to get into this car, but Nebula's never like had to deal with a car door.
- 36:48SPEAKER_06: And they keep doing the like lock, unlock, lock, unlock, lock, unlock, and pull in it.
- 36:53SPEAKER_06: So he's like, wait.
- 36:54SPEAKER_06: And he's like, hit the unlock button.
- 36:57SPEAKER_06: And she's like, now what do I do?
- 36:59SPEAKER_06: And he was like, get in the fucking car.
- 37:04SPEAKER_06: It's one of my favorite ones.
- 37:06SPEAKER_02: That blew everyone off guard when it when it was said.
- 37:08SPEAKER_06: Oh, it did.
- 37:09SPEAKER_06: But it was so funny, too.
- 37:10SPEAKER_06: Because the genuine frustration was right there.
- 37:13SPEAKER_06: And then they get in the car and she's like, I've never had to deal with anything like that.
- 37:17SPEAKER_02: She was like, that's a horrible design.
- 37:21SPEAKER_06: Uh uh, but alright, John, what's yours?
- 37:24SPEAKER_02: Alright, so I don't I do have a favorite like F bomb moment, but the one that will randomly pop in my head uh is from the 1992 horrible movie uh Alien 3, where um they're trying to figure out what to do with like Ellen Ripley, I think.
- 37:43SPEAKER_02: I can't fully remember.
- 37:45SPEAKER_02: And they're all all the prisoners are in the uh mess hall, and she's like, It's here, the creature's here, and the guy's just like, You shut your mouth, you don't know what you're talking about, get it away, and he's like getting ready to rip her a new one, and then the xenomorph comes down, grabs him in front of everybody, pulls him back up in the ceiling, and everyone freaks out, they're scared, and then it gets quiet because you see blood dripping down, and just one guy just goes, Fetch, and then it just the scene ends right there, and I was like, I'm like, what?
- 38:17SPEAKER_02: What and uh yeah, it's like the best but worst line in a movie because like he didn't even sell it, he was just like fetch, and I'm like, Okay, that's cool.
- 38:29SPEAKER_02: So that's just one that randomly like pops up in my mind once in a while.
- 38:33SPEAKER_02: So I'll go again, we'll snake draft this.
- 38:36SPEAKER_02: Okay, okay.
- 38:37SPEAKER_02: Um my one of my we'll get into my favorites.
- 38:43SPEAKER_02: Um it's it's not really an F-bomb, the F-bomb is part of it, but there's also a curse word before it.
- 38:49SPEAKER_02: And for me, when it comes to comedy, it's about the delivery, especially when it comes to a swear word.
- 38:55SPEAKER_02: If you could really hit the punch on a swear word, uh, you could have me laughing for minutes.
- 39:03SPEAKER_02: Not even gonna lie.
- 39:05SPEAKER_02: Um, 2009, Zombieland, uh, when they're there's a lot of F-words in that one.
- 39:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah, right, specifically when they're in Bill Murray's house, and of course, every new place they go to, they gotta look for Twinkies.
- 39:19SPEAKER_02: And Woody Harrison did great as his character, and they're in his house, and all of a sudden you hear the girl go, no Twinkies.
- 39:26SPEAKER_02: He just goes, what do we say?
- 39:28SPEAKER_02: He goes, crap, fetch! And like the delivery on how quick, precise, and frustrated he is.
- 39:35SPEAKER_02: It's no Twinkies, shiz F.
- 39:38SPEAKER_02: Like, it's hilarious.
- 39:40SPEAKER_02: I when I first saw that, and he just says that, I had to pause the movie because I was like on the ground laughing, and it gets it gets me every time.
- 39:50SPEAKER_02: I am constantly laughing at that.
- 39:53SPEAKER_02: If it shows up on social media as a clip, I'm clicking on it for a laugh.
- 39:58SPEAKER_02: I love that F bomb.
- 40:00SPEAKER_02: Uh, mainly because delivery.
- 40:02SPEAKER_02: If you want to know a good delivery of a good F bomb, that's scene in Zombieland.
- 40:06SPEAKER_02: So, all right, Alex, your turn.
- 40:08SPEAKER_02: Sneak draft.
- 40:10SPEAKER_06: Uh the next one I have is another superhero movie, and it was X-Men First Class.
- 40:15SPEAKER_06: I was gonna go with that one.
- 40:17SPEAKER_06: Oh, you were gonna I can pick a different one then.
- 40:19SPEAKER_02: What was that one?
- 40:20SPEAKER_06: So Magneto and Charles are going to build a team, and they show up in this random ass bar, and you just see the hair.
- 40:29SPEAKER_06: Everyone's like, oh, it's Wolverine, and they get to the bar, he's smoking a cigar, has a whiskey, and then he's like, my name's Charles.
- 40:35SPEAKER_06: He's like, go fuck yourself.
- 40:39SPEAKER_00: And they just walk away.
- 40:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they just walk back to the back.
- 40:42SPEAKER_02: My favorite rebuttal to that was in Days of Future Past, where he's like, Oh, you know, I do remember you.
- 40:47SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna see what you said to me.
- 40:48SPEAKER_02: Go F yourself.
- 40:50SPEAKER_02: And I was like, ah, there you go.
- 40:52SPEAKER_00: Payback time.
- 40:56SPEAKER_08: Are we going back to me?
- 40:57SPEAKER_08: Okay.
- 40:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah, stick to that, baby.
- 41:01SPEAKER_08: It's probably gonna be a cop out because I haven't seen it, but I mean, one of the most iconic has to be uh Samuel Jackson in Pulp Fiction.
- 41:11SPEAKER_08: English motherfucker, do you speak it?
- 41:14SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 41:15SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 41:16SPEAKER_02: That is one of my favorites.
- 41:19SPEAKER_08: Haven't seen Pulp Fiction yet.
- 41:20SPEAKER_08: I know the clip though.
- 41:22SPEAKER_08: It's I mean it's one of the most iconic F-bombs.
- 41:26SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
- 41:28SPEAKER_08: I feel like you can't do a F-bomb list without at least mentioning it.
- 41:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah, definitely.
- 41:33SPEAKER_00: I love it.
- 41:33SPEAKER_00: I love it.
- 41:34SPEAKER_00: Uh what else you got?
- 41:37SPEAKER_08: Ot the thing, come back to me.
- 41:38SPEAKER_08: I'm roaning the snake drafts.
- 41:40SPEAKER_00: Oh no.
- 41:43SPEAKER_06: So I'll go to another one that's really funny.
- 41:46SPEAKER_06: Well, it's funny, but it's not the it's not the fuck that you'll think of when I say the movie.
- 41:52SPEAKER_06: But it's diehard.
- 41:54SPEAKER_02: It's not the yippie kaye?
- 41:56SPEAKER_06: Nope, it's not the yippie kaye.
- 41:58SPEAKER_06: So this is the one where he's trying to like call the police, and he's up in Nakatomi Plaza hiding from all the people down at the bottom.
- 42:07SPEAKER_06: Do you guys starting to remember that?
- 42:09SPEAKER_08: Nope.
- 42:10SPEAKER_08: No, it's been a long time since I've watched Die Hard.
- 42:14SPEAKER_06: Okay, give me one second.
- 42:15SPEAKER_06: I gotta get to make sure the wording's right.
- 42:17SPEAKER_06: Okay.
- 42:18SPEAKER_06: So he's trying, he's on the phone with dispatch, and he's trying to get the cops to show up, and he was like, sorry, I'm thinking about it.
- 42:27SPEAKER_06: He's like, no fucking shit, lady.
- 42:29SPEAKER_06: Do you uh sound like I'm ordering a pizza?
- 42:33SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 42:36SPEAKER_06: Oh, like, not expecting it, and he's just out of there.
- 42:40SPEAKER_06: Like, he's so tired of all the bullshit that's happening right now.
- 42:45SPEAKER_06: But yeah, that was one of them that I thought of too, that I was like, pretty solid one.
- 42:49SPEAKER_00: That's a good one.
- 42:51SPEAKER_02: Alright, back to me.
- 42:52SPEAKER_02: Um, talking about delivery, again, most of these are about delivery, except for the Alien 3 one.
- 42:58SPEAKER_02: The delivery was weird.
- 43:00SPEAKER_02: Um, if there's a movie that is incredible, but will make me laugh sorely because of the F-bombs in it, and just everything about that.
- 43:11SPEAKER_02: The delivery of each one of them, too, has to be the Big Lebowski.
- 43:19SPEAKER_02: Specifically, John Goodman's character in the Big Lebowski.
- 43:24SPEAKER_02: Every time he's like, shut the F up, man.
- 43:28SPEAKER_02: Uh, I love it.
- 43:30SPEAKER_02: I love just every time he talks to Donnie, he's just like, hey, hey, Walter, but he's like, shut the F up, Donnie.
- 43:37SPEAKER_02: Or he's like, hey, did you say they posted the schedule?
- 43:40SPEAKER_02: Shut the F.
- 43:41SPEAKER_02: What?
- 43:41SPEAKER_02: They did?
- 43:42SPEAKER_02: Or like, my favorite one is in the bar.
- 43:45SPEAKER_02: Not the bar.
- 43:46SPEAKER_02: They're at a they're in a they're in an auditorium and they're watching some sort of like interpretive dance musical, and they're trying to talk, and Donnie keeps talking, he's like, shut the F up, Donnie.
- 43:56SPEAKER_02: And he's like, shut the F up.
- 43:57SPEAKER_02: And then because they're in an auditorium, he's like, shut the F.
- 44:00SPEAKER_02: F up, Donnie.
- 44:01SPEAKER_02: Just immediately quiet again.
- 44:04SPEAKER_02: Every time he says, shut the F up, Donnie.
- 44:08SPEAKER_02: I I uh I lose it.
- 44:11SPEAKER_02: I'm laughing so hard.
- 44:12SPEAKER_02: And then he's like, Am I the only one that cares about the flipping rolls around here?
- 44:16SPEAKER_02: Well, he's like holding the gun to the guy, Market Zero! Like every F bomb that John Goodman delivers in that movie is just pure F-bomb artistry.
- 44:28SPEAKER_02: Like, I know I said Woody Harrison's really good for delivery.
- 44:31SPEAKER_02: That specific moment, he's good for delivery, but an ongoing great delivery of the F-word or just swearing in general in a whole movie, John Goodman and the Big Lebowski takes the kick.
- 44:46SPEAKER_02: It is hilarious.
- 44:48SPEAKER_02: I love every bit of it.
- 44:49SPEAKER_02: Cody, have you seen the Big Lebowski?
- 44:52SPEAKER_08: Once, and it's been Oh shit.
- 44:55SPEAKER_08: Well, I know.
- 44:57SPEAKER_02: Hold on.
- 44:58SPEAKER_02: Put it, say that in the mic really quick.
- 45:00SPEAKER_08: I've seen Big Lebowski once.
- 45:02SPEAKER_08: I couldn't tell you when it was.
- 45:04SPEAKER_02: You've seen the Big Lebowski, but you're just like, ah, the only Sam Neil thing I've seen was Jurassic Park 3.
- 45:11SPEAKER_08: He's You sure sing hims in Big Lebowski?
- 45:15SPEAKER_02: No, I'm saying I can't believe you've seen the Big Lebowski, but not Jurassic Park.
- 45:21SPEAKER_02: Or anything Sam Neil's been in.
- 45:23SPEAKER_08: The only reason I saw Jurassic Park 3 was it was on TV, so.
- 45:27SPEAKER_02: We should.
- 45:28SPEAKER_02: Hey, Alex, Alex, okay, real quick.
- 45:30SPEAKER_02: Because I got done listening to the first episode because we just released it this week.
- 45:34SPEAKER_02: Um, and all the stuff, all the excuses Cody kept giving why he hasn't seen stuff.
- 45:39SPEAKER_02: If these, if he keeps up with these, I'm gonna like rig his TV to just play all these movies on a loop.
- 45:48SPEAKER_02: What like like that's what I'm gonna need to do is what I'm doing.
- 45:56SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so we gotta hide it so we can't find it.
- 46:00SPEAKER_06: That way you'd have all the movies.
- 46:02SPEAKER_02: And then we'll we'll get rid of the we'll get rid of the PlayStation too.
- 46:05SPEAKER_02: We'll hide the PlayStation so that he can't be like, well, I'll just go and play some video games then.
- 46:11SPEAKER_02: And like, no.
- 46:12SPEAKER_06: Hold on there.
- 46:12SPEAKER_06: I'm usually on for the video games.
- 46:14SPEAKER_02: Well, no, no, no, that's fine, but like you've seen Jurassic Park.
- 46:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 46:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so you're fine.
- 46:19SPEAKER_06: I also thought Jurassic Park was also on TV too.
- 46:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah, no, it was.
- 46:23SPEAKER_02: No, all these movies we've talked about is on TV been on TV.
- 46:26SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so.
- 46:28SPEAKER_08: I only ever saw number three.
- 46:31SPEAKER_08: I don't remember seeing the first one pop up that often.
- 46:35SPEAKER_08: That's all I got for you.
- 46:37SPEAKER_02: I I want to start like a GoFundMe or a Patreon just to raise money so you can have cable or streaming, and then just be like, these are the this is the people's monies.
- 46:48SPEAKER_02: You have to watch things.
- 46:50SPEAKER_02: So, anyways, long story short, Big Lebowski, John Goodman's character, Walter.
- 46:57SPEAKER_02: Great, great delivery every time he says the F-word.
- 46:59SPEAKER_02: So, Alex, we're back to you.
- 47:02SPEAKER_06: Uh, mine's not necessarily funny this time.
- 47:06SPEAKER_06: It well, it's funny, but not in the moment that you would think it is.
- 47:09SPEAKER_06: But y'all ever watch Full Metal Jacket?
- 47:12SPEAKER_08: No.
- 47:13SPEAKER_08: Nope.
- 47:14SPEAKER_06: Okay, so do you remember uh I think it's Army Hammer?
- 47:17SPEAKER_06: No.
- 47:18SPEAKER_08: He said no.
- 47:19SPEAKER_08: Do you remember as we said we haven't watched?
- 47:22SPEAKER_02: Hey, hey, hey, Alex, keep going.
- 47:25SPEAKER_06: Do you remember Army Army Hammer is what?
- 47:27SPEAKER_06: Uh like he's the guy who's always played like the drill sergeant character.
- 47:31SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 47:32SPEAKER_02: Hey, hey, Alex, hey, I remember.
- 47:34SPEAKER_02: I remember Alex.
- 47:36SPEAKER_02: Yes, I know what you're talking about.
- 47:38SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 47:38SPEAKER_06: Well, anyway, he's talking to Private Pyle.
- 47:41SPEAKER_06: And Private Pyle's a piece of shit private in the army and this and that.
- 47:45SPEAKER_06: And he, I guess he was getting on, I forgot he was getting onto another grunt in the barracks, and Private Pyle started laughing, and he was like, Private Pyle, if you don't wipe that stupid ass grin off your face, I'm gonna gout out your eyes and skull fuck the shit out of your head.
- 48:01SPEAKER_06: But yeah, I love that.
- 48:02SPEAKER_06: Uh full metal jack is pretty good.
- 48:04SPEAKER_06: But Private Pyle sucks.
- 48:09SPEAKER_02: Okay, real quick, um, there might have been some weird audio issues there.
- 48:14SPEAKER_02: Uh along with the only one mic freaking working.
- 48:19SPEAKER_02: Um, I guess the interface and my computer acting weird, or or maybe normal, I guess.
- 48:26SPEAKER_02: Every time Alex slams his freaking fists on the table and it cuts out the audio.
- 48:32SPEAKER_02: So if the audio sounds a little finicky or anything like that, that's why.
- 48:37SPEAKER_02: Sorry about that.
- 48:38SPEAKER_02: Um Cody, we're on your we're on you, though.
- 48:41SPEAKER_02: We're your turn.
- 48:42unknown: Yeah.
- 48:43SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
- 48:44SPEAKER_08: I'm gonna go with one is from I think it was actually on one of your least favorite movies, John.
- 48:50SPEAKER_00: Oh shoot.
- 48:51SPEAKER_08: I'm going Team America.
- 48:53SPEAKER_08: Just because when it comes up, it's the absurdity of it.
- 48:57SPEAKER_08: At one point, it's just Walmart, fuck yeah.
- 49:01SPEAKER_08: Rock and roll, fuck yeah.
- 49:03SPEAKER_08: Slavery, fuck yeah.
- 49:06SPEAKER_08: The fact that it's everything just ends with fuck yeah.
- 49:10SPEAKER_08: Just the absurdity.
- 49:11SPEAKER_08: Obviously, what Team America is going for, but it's just showing just how absurd everything in America is.
- 49:18SPEAKER_08: I think it fits so well.
- 49:21SPEAKER_02: Uh absurd?
- 49:23SPEAKER_02: Hey, I feel the same way about almost, almost all of those things.
- 49:29SPEAKER_02: Not all of those things, but almost all of those things.
- 49:33SPEAKER_02: Yeah, then why not?
- 49:34SPEAKER_02: Why not?
- 49:35SPEAKER_02: So.
- 49:36SPEAKER_00: Alex, you're up.
- 49:38SPEAKER_06: Uh, go to another kind of funny one, at least for this movie.
- 49:42SPEAKER_06: We're gonna go to Pulp Fiction.
- 49:45SPEAKER_06: Yeah It's uh Vega, which is John Travolta's character, and then Samuel Jackson's character, driving in that car, and they're having that conversation with Marvin, and John Travolta's character slams that gun on the seat as he's talking to it because he got excited, like, you know, me a second ago.
- 50:04SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 50:05SPEAKER_06: And it shoots Marvin.
- 50:08SPEAKER_06: Blood's everywhere, there's brain matter in the black back seat, and John Rabolta's character or Samuel L.
- 50:16SPEAKER_06: Jackson's character was like, well, why the fuck you shoot Marvin?
- 50:28SPEAKER_02: Well, I like I like the delivery on that.
- 50:30SPEAKER_02: Because he's like, he's like, what happened?
- 50:32SPEAKER_02: He goes, ah, dude, I just shot Marvin in the face.
- 50:34SPEAKER_02: And he's like, why the F do you shoot Marvin?
- 50:37SPEAKER_02: Like, that was like like George Volta's like, ah, I can't believe I just did that.
- 50:41SPEAKER_02: And then someone's just like, why did you do that?
- 50:43SPEAKER_02: And I'm like, why, why anything to this point?
- 50:47SPEAKER_02: Holy crap, people! No, that's that's a good one, Alex.
- 50:50SPEAKER_02: I like that one.
- 50:53SPEAKER_06: Solid, solid one.
- 50:55SPEAKER_06: It's good.
- 50:56SPEAKER_02: My my final one is probably my favorite F-bomb because, like the Guardians of the Galaxy one, it came out of freaking nowhere.
- 51:05SPEAKER_02: And that's in the uh 2006 movie, uh, probably the only good Dane Cook movie, um, in my opinion.
- 51:14SPEAKER_02: And yes, that that is uh what's called the Life of Dan or Secret Life of Dan.
- 51:21SPEAKER_02: Um yeah, I don't like that movie, but anyways.
- 51:24SPEAKER_02: Uh the best Dane Cook movie, 2006, Employee of the Month, when his friend is like blind, even though he has like four inchers on for his glasses.
- 51:36SPEAKER_02: Uh they're at the kid's birthday party, and they're all laughing and um making fun of Dane Cook, and Dane Cook has those pull poppers, right?
- 51:46SPEAKER_02: And you know, like you got a party, you pull it, and then the confetti comes out.
- 51:50SPEAKER_02: He has like a handful of those, pulls them all at once because he knows his friend can't see, and he just shoots them at his friend.
- 51:58SPEAKER_02: His friend just goes, What the fuck?
- 52:00SPEAKER_02: And just scared out of his mind.
- 52:04SPEAKER_02: And then they continue the conversation, and his friend is still looking around frantically as to what the F that was.
- 52:13SPEAKER_02: It was hilarious.
- 52:15SPEAKER_02: That's another one where, like, every time I watch that scene, I am on the ground, busting a gut, laughing.
- 52:22SPEAKER_02: That has to be my number one, uh, I'm at the end of my list, by the way, but that has to be my number one favorite F-bomb.
- 52:29SPEAKER_02: Uh said moment delivery.
- 52:32SPEAKER_02: It is, and and honestly, like watching it, you weren't expecting that either.
- 52:36SPEAKER_02: You were with the guy.
- 52:37SPEAKER_02: You were like, whoa! That was wild.
- 52:40SPEAKER_02: So love it.
- 52:41SPEAKER_02: It was great.
- 52:42SPEAKER_02: Of course, everything on my list, um, I do recommend, but that that specific one I recommend, Alien Three, not so much, just look it up on YouTube.
- 52:52SPEAKER_02: But everything else, like, watch the movies, get the full essence of the swearing.
- 52:56SPEAKER_02: But that's everything on my list.
- 52:58SPEAKER_02: Uh, back to Alex, I guess.
- 53:02SPEAKER_06: So I have another one, but like I can't go on the rant to give it justice.
- 53:07SPEAKER_06: But if you guys have ever seen the Boondock Saints and Rocco's like dream rant and uh but Rocco's rant and like the dream thing and boondock saints is hilarious.
- 53:24SPEAKER_06: But give it justice, just go look up the clip.
- 53:29SPEAKER_08: Not gonna give us what the line was.
- 53:33SPEAKER_06: Like he ends it with like, if you're not from Boston, then fuck you!
- 53:39SPEAKER_01: Fair.
- 53:41SPEAKER_08: I think my last one, I'm not gonna lie, I didn't realize this was actually from the movie.
- 53:45SPEAKER_08: I thought this was from an episode.
- 53:46SPEAKER_08: It's South Park's bigger, better, and sorry, bigger, longer, and uncut.
- 53:51SPEAKER_08: I'm not gonna do the whole thing because there's a whole scene to it, but if you know the first two, you can't say fucking school, you fucking fat ass.
- 54:00SPEAKER_08: You hear that, you know exactly what the scene is.
- 54:04SPEAKER_08: The whole thing's just fantastic.
- 54:06SPEAKER_08: That might be one of the best scenes South Park's ever done.
- 54:10SPEAKER_02: I'll agree.
- 54:11SPEAKER_02: I don't like South Park, but I'll agree.
- 54:12SPEAKER_02: That's actually really good.
- 54:14SPEAKER_02: That's funny.
- 54:14SPEAKER_06: I don't know.
- 54:15SPEAKER_06: Satan Satan and Trump's pretty funny.
- 54:17SPEAKER_08: That's also funny.
- 54:18SPEAKER_08: It's good, but that's more of like a long-running gag than like a one-off.
- 54:24SPEAKER_02: I I never saw the Satan and Trump stuff.
- 54:26SPEAKER_02: I've only seen the Satan and Osama.
- 54:28SPEAKER_02: They bring that one back to the stuff.
- 54:30SPEAKER_02: They do.
- 54:30SPEAKER_02: Oh yeah, doesn't like doesn't like one of them get jealous of the other or something like that?
- 54:36SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 54:36SPEAKER_02: I need to.
- 54:37SPEAKER_02: I've seen that one as uh anyways.
- 54:39SPEAKER_02: I'm not gonna get into the South Park, but um Is that the end of everyone's list?
- 54:44SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 54:45SPEAKER_02: Um, we're gonna have to cut it short, guys.
- 54:48SPEAKER_02: Um I know Alex is in charge of this, um, but I do a lot of the production.
- 54:53SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna have to cut it short.
- 54:55SPEAKER_02: Uh, not only do we have a microphone acting up, our uh interface for some reason keeps cutting out.
- 55:01SPEAKER_02: So again, uh sorry if the audio is weird.
- 55:03SPEAKER_02: Hope you guys had a good time with this episode.
- 55:06SPEAKER_02: Um, but yeah, I'm gonna uh we don't know what's going on, we need to figure this out.
- 55:10SPEAKER_02: Uh so give us your best F-bombs.
- 55:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 55:13SPEAKER_02: Yeah, like Cody said, give us your best F-bombs or swear words.
- 55:16SPEAKER_02: Uh drop a link too if you have a clip of it.
- 55:18SPEAKER_02: Uh, I would we would love to see what's up.
- 55:21SPEAKER_02: Maybe educate Cody on more movies he doesn't know.
- 55:24unknown: Yeah.
- 55:24SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 55:25SPEAKER_02: So um, yeah, let us let us know what you guys think of your favorite F bombs or swear words.
- 55:30SPEAKER_02: So all right, Alex, take us out.
- 55:32SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 55:32SPEAKER_06: You got anything, Cody?
- 55:34SPEAKER_06: No.
- 55:34SPEAKER_06: John?
- 55:35SPEAKER_06: Nope.
- 55:35SPEAKER_06: All right, this is keeping it relevant, and I'm Ron Burgundy.
- 55:39SPEAKER_06: Go fuck yourself, San Diego.
- 55:44SPEAKER_03: Yes!
