- 0:00Speaker 1: Hm, snuggle down in your nice cozy bed. Then just
- 0:31close your eyes and relax. Take a deep breath in
- 0:38through your nose and slowly and gently breathe out through
- 0:44your mouth. Again, Deep breath in, and slowly and gently
- 0:55breathe out through your mouth. One more time. Deep breath
- 1:04in and breathe slowly and gently out through your mouth.
- 1:14Just bring your breathing back to its normal rhythm. Just
- 1:20breathe in, breathing in peacefulness and harmony. Now breathe out,
- 1:29breathing out all negativity.
- 1:34Speaker 2: So breathe in and breathe out, breathing in, breathing out,
- 1:50breathing in, breathing out.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Just relax. Now, imagine your body surrounded with a beautiful, brilliant,
- 2:05pure white light. And see this amazing light swirl around
- 2:10your whole body and it sparkles and it shines so brightly,
- 2:17but it doesn't hurt to look at it. This light
- 2:22is protecting you, and this light is filling you with
- 2:27a deep inner piece. Now imagine roots coming out from
- 2:34the soles of your feet, kind of like the roots
- 2:37of a tree, all long and wobbly and gnubbly. Now
- 2:43push these roots deep into the ground. Beneath your feet
- 2:49and feel the earth moving aside as your roots go
- 2:53deeper and deeper into the ground. And you can even
- 2:59hear the sound of the soil moving apart to let
- 3:02your roots pass. Can you hear it? Can you hear
- 3:07the sound of the soil moving aside? Now, push your
- 3:14roots down as far as you can get them to go,
- 3:18and anchor these roots deep within the earth. You can
- 3:23only fly as high as your roots are deep. Now
- 3:31imagine yourself standing in a lush tropical forest and the
- 3:37sun is shining brightly, and it's a very beautiful, clear daddy,
- 3:42And there are a few white, fluffy clouds just floating
- 3:45along in the sky, just drifting lazily by. And you
- 3:51can hear birds singing to each other as they fly
- 3:54from tree to tree. Can you hear them? You look
- 4:01down and realize that you are standing on a soft
- 4:05dirt path, and you wonder where it goes, So you
- 4:09decide to follow it and find out. You walk along
- 4:15this little path for a while, and then you come
- 4:17to a clearing in the forest. You take a look around,
- 4:22and you notice that at the end of the clearing
- 4:25stands a little wooden house with smoke coming out from
- 4:29its chimney. You decide to go and see who lives there,
- 4:36And as you get nearer to the little front door,
- 4:39you see a red baboon coming out. Oh my, and
- 4:45he's wearing an apron with big purple flowers on him,
- 4:49and he's carrying a big wooden spoon. He also has
- 4:54a tall chef's hat perched on the top of his
- 4:57head a little quirky.
- 4:59Speaker 2: I think.
- 5:01Speaker 1: He looks up and he sees you, and he gives
- 5:03you a great big grin and he says hello. He
- 5:07tells you his name is Bongo, and he is very
- 5:11pleased to meet you today, so you smile back and
- 5:15you tell him your name. Bonger is a very gentle
- 5:21baboon and he is known for his kind heart and
- 5:25playful nature. But he also has a unique characteristic. He
- 5:32has one leg shorter than the other. He tells you
- 5:36he fell out of a tree when he was just
- 5:38a young baboon and broke his leg, but it mended
- 5:42and it doesn't hate him, but he does walk a
- 5:44little bit wobbly now. Bongo has a close group of
- 5:50friends who accept him just the way he is because
- 5:54they love him, and they spend the day, swinging from
- 5:57tree to tree, feasting on out fruits, and playing by
- 6:01the gently flowing stream that runs through the forest. Bongo
- 6:07tells you that today he is baking pies for all
- 6:10of his friends. He says that he bakes pies every week,
- 6:14and he and his friends all get together at his
- 6:17big table in the garden and just eat pies and
- 6:21they chat and they have fun. Bongo asks if you
- 6:27would like to stay and meet his friends and eat
- 6:29some of his pies with them. Well, of course, you
- 6:33say yes, you would love to. And it's then that
- 6:39you notice the wonderful smell coming out from his little house.
- 6:44It smells so good that it makes your tummy rumble
- 6:48just thinking about the pies. Bongo asks you if you
- 6:54would like to help him set the table and put
- 6:56out all of the pies, as his friends will be
- 6:58here very soon. So you walk around to the back
- 7:02of Bongo's house with him and see an enormous table
- 7:05with chairs all around it, and it has a red
- 7:08and white checkered tablecloth on it and a vase with
- 7:12beautiful yellow tulips in it. The cutlery is in a
- 7:17big basket on the table, along with the napkins. Bongo
- 7:21asks you to set the table with them. There are
- 7:26tall glasses also on a smaller table, and you put
- 7:28them on it too. You take the napkins out of
- 7:32the basket as well and arrange it next to the cutlery.
- 7:36Bongo tells you you did a very good job, but
- 7:41now it's signed for you to help you with the
- 7:42pies and the lemonade, which is inside his little house.
- 7:49Inside Bongo's house, it's very cozy and brightly lit, with
- 7:53pictures of his friends and his family dotted all over
- 7:56the walls. He takes you into his kitchen and the
- 8:01smell of the pies baking is just wonderful. And you've
- 8:06never seen so many pies before, big chunky pies. Oh,
- 8:11they smell so good. There are apple pies, bluboard pies,
- 8:17cherry pies, pecan pies, blueberry pies, summer fruit pies filled
- 8:23with sweetberries and strawberries. They look and smell delicious. Standing
- 8:31on the worktop are large jugs. Some of them are
- 8:36filled with custard, some are filled with thick fresh cream,
- 8:40and others are filled with lovely lemonade. And there are
- 8:45also tubs of ice cream. All waiting to be taken
- 8:49to the table. So the two of you take all
- 8:54of the lovely food outside and put it on the table.
- 8:57And just as you put the last of the pies
- 8:59on the table, Bongo's friends arrive. First to arrive is Bert,
- 9:05another baboon, and he is with Sally the chipmunk. Then
- 9:10two young grillas arrive whose names are Jenny and Josie.
- 9:14Next up is Fred the Monkey and his friend Jack,
- 9:17another monkey. The last to arrive is Simon the sloth,
- 9:22who very slowly walks to the table. Because it's a sloth,
- 9:29he moves very slowly. Bongo introduces you to his friends
- 9:35and you both sit down at the table. There is
- 9:39a lot of noisy chattering going on, but you love it.
- 9:43Everyone is so friendly and nice. Now, Bongo tells you
- 9:49to choose the pie you would like, and then choose
- 9:52whether you would like custard cream or ice cream. He says,
- 9:57you can have as many different pies as you want.
- 10:01You taste your lemonade and it is so tasty and tangy.
- 10:07You just love it. So for a few moments, just
- 10:12enjoy your pyes and get to know all of Bongo's
- 10:16lovely friends and just have fun.
- 11:03Speaker 3: School.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Wow, that was amazing. You feel so full now that
- 13:12you think that maybe she can't stand up. But it
- 13:16is time for you to go home now, and it
- 13:20is time for you to say your goodbye is to
- 13:21everyone and to thank Bongo for inviting you to stay
- 13:25with him and his friends. Bongo tells you that you
- 13:30can come and visit him any time you want. He
- 13:34and his friends will always be there. So you wave
- 13:39goodbye and begin you walk back through the tropical forest,
- 13:44and before you know it, you are safely back home
- 13:48in your very own bed. Your eyes are closing now
- 13:55as you snuggle down, and you are very grateful having
- 14:00such a wonderful day with Bongo and his friends. You
- 14:05understand now the importance of acceptance and kindness towards others,
- 14:12because really we are all the same, We are all
- 14:17beautiful beings living on this amazing home we call earth.
- 14:25You feel yourself drifting deeper and deeper into a wonderful sleep,
- 14:33and remember you are safe, you are loved, and you
- 14:41are protected always. Night Night.
