- Meg and Mandy: Hello there. This is Meg coming to talk a little bit about what this Made Me Gay podcast is about. We've heard a little bit from in Mandy's clip and I think feels unique to our podcast is Mandy and I. I think we have a really special dynamic and a very warm, caring and loving friendship. Our connection is rooted in similar life experience, really being able to see, know, and understand each other because we've been through similar things as the other person. And what I think is going to come through to the listener is. Being seen, being held, a container of love and support and trust. I think so many of us have been missed. We haven't been seen. We haven't been held. The container hasn't been safe for us to be ourselves. And I'm gonna speak for Mandy here, one of the things that we have found with each other. Is this safety to be ourselves? And that's one of the things that I think is really gonna come through in this podcast. Mandy and I have a desire to have real honest conversations. I don't think we're always going to agree. And I think that that's probably going to be the beauty. I think that listeners might hear us disagree, but also continue to hold each other in love. You know, and Mandy and I agree on a lot of things. The invitation to the listener is to join us, to be curious along with us. We don't expect our listeners to agree with us, obviously, because there's so many different opinions and experiences out there in the world. But we are going to come in open hearted, open minded, and we hope our listeners do the same. I know I feel a lot of gratitude for this relationship with my friend Mandy and out of the love of that friendship and relationship, this idea for this podcast was born. We're really excited to be here. We're really excited that you're here. And thank you for joining us.
