- 0:15Seth Holehouse: Welcome to Man in America, a voice of reason in a world gone mad. I'm your host, Seth Holehouse. Throughout history, if you look at all the wars that have been fought, what you can see is that every war, especially the major ones, the world wars, the larger conflicts, they have a ripple effect that changes many aspects of society. Wars have redrawn lines of countries. They have collapsed financial systems.
- 0:44They have ended empires. They have given birth to new empires and new realms of global dominance. And so as we're watching what's happening with this Iran war, regardless of whose fault it is or whose side we're on or any of these things, you can't ignore the ripple effect of what this war is doing. Now president Trump has recently announced that he is basically gonna be transitioning our economy towards much more of a war economy. They're taking it much more seriously.
- 1:16We're gonna see an increase in defense spending, defense budgets, a decrease in a lot of the domestic spending. Now what this means though, fundamentally, is a lot more money printing. And that's the thing that you see over and over again, especially when you have empires like the American empire, where a fiat currency becomes the currency of war, where we can just keep printing and printing and printing and funding a massively growing military industrial complex. And so one of the questions that I have on top of looking at, okay, what are the ramifications in terms of how does this war and the effects on the global energy supply, how does that feed into this agenda 2030? How does it feed into the narrative of less freedom and more, controlled resources, which they've been doing over and over again to protect us.
- 2:08Right? But the one of the big questions, though, is what happens to the global economy? Because even before we're into this war, we were already at a place where we've got skyrocketing debt. The national the the deficit is just through the roof. We were seeing no end to it.
- 2:26But then whatever happens when when war comes about, it's almost like every rule, every limit, restraint gets thrown out the window because it's all for national safety. Now in many instances, that's not a bad thing to fund your military to protect you, but in the modern day, we see is that these types of actions often lead to a fundamental what's the right word for it? A stripping of our freedoms, a stripping of the foundations that a country needs to be healthy. And what we're seeing in this transition towards this war economy are a lot of these signs that are kind of worrying to me. But one of the big things that really stands out though is what happens when the money printing comes to an end?
- 3:20What happens when the combination of the dedollarization being led by the combination of BRICS countries, when the oil, which we're seeing happening now with this war, when the oil becomes even more separated from the petrodollar. Right? And you have more of these Arab countries saying, you know what? You know, we don't really like what the American government's doing, and we're not gonna be using that dollar anymore. We're buying oil.
- 3:45Like, we already saw that trend happening, and I expect that we'll see it continue even stronger after this because there's a lot of countries, NATO, a lot of our Europe the a lot of our sorry, Arab allies that aren't that happy with this war. And so we can expect that this war is gonna lead to an even further acceleration of a global positioning away from the dollar reserve system. That reserve system has propped up the value of the dollar and propped up the ability for the Fed and the US government to use that dollar to fund its war chest. And what really concerns me is that what happens next? What comes next?
- 4:25Because we can see that as a lot of these, the impact from this war is laying the foundation, strengthening the foundation that the elites have been laying for a long time in terms of building it, some sort of global secure you know, global control grid that leads into some sort of centralized global control, what happens from the financial angle of that? And you can see when looking at the patterns and the specific examples that a lot of this is leading towards some sort of financial reset and some sort of introduction of the CBDC, stablecoins or various ways that they're kind of framing it, but fundamentally something where our own assets, our money, even be honest with what the money that we have, that actually our physical assets become these digital tokens, something that becomes part of a unified ledger. And so joining me today is my good friend, Micah Haynes, who is over at Noble Gold. He's one of their their, you know, kind of top people over there. He's actually become a great friend of mine as well.
- 5:25And he's we're gonna be looking at this, you know, and kinda analyzing this situation with the war and looking at how it's affecting the markets, how it's affecting what's happening with precious metals, the strength of the dollar, the weakness of the dollar, the cost of oil, but then fundamentally how all these things fit together in terms of this Agenda 2030, and how there's potential traps that we have to be very aware of. Because if the elites had it their way, we'd all be living in fifteen minute cities with our kind of vaccine passport barcodes and our carbon credits being monitoring. And the unfortunate reality is that this war helps move us closer to that objective. And so I'm gonna look at what's happening, why it's happening, and what we can do about it. So please enjoy this interview with Micah.
- 6:12And if you do enjoy it, make sure you hit that thumbs up, make sure you hit that follow button if you're not currently following or subscribed to the channel. And also, yeah, just keep a keep a cool head and keep an open mind. And, yeah, I guess that's it. So yeah, let's jump into the interview with Micah. Micah, man, it's good to have you back on.
- 6:31I'm really excited about this discussion we're gonna have. So thank you for being here.
- 6:36Micah Haince: Thanks for having me on. I'll apologize in advance for being a little under the weather to you and your guests. You'll have to bear with me, but we'll push through. And, lots of exciting stuff going on the last couple of days. I'm really encouraged going into the end of the month of March here.
- 6:48April will have some exciting stuff in store for us and, you know, tons of other stuff to cover. So let's jump right in.
- 6:53Seth Holehouse: Well, good, man. Well, you seem healthy, but I know that you've got little kids like I do, and they're always just picking up something. They're sniffling, and they got you know, they're writing boogers on me. And
- 7:03Micah Haince: Exactly. It's can only you can only keep it at bay for so long, but, you know, everything is fine. I feel great. It's just a little bit of sniffles. So it could be the pollen and stuff around here too.
- 7:12It's got
- 7:13Seth Holehouse: a nice How old are little ones again?
- 7:15Micah Haince: So I have a a two, five, and seven year old, all girls.
- 7:19Seth Holehouse: And Oh, yeah.
- 7:20Micah Haince: They're they're the best thing.
- 7:22Seth Holehouse: Yeah. I'm a two and five. Both girls. Okay.
- 7:25Micah Haince: Yeah. Yeah. It is it's
- 7:27Seth Holehouse: the best thing ever, man.
- 7:28Micah Haince: We got a similar setup. Just add a seven year old who's smarter than me already. Lots of lots of lots of, are you sure about that dad these days? So, you know, she'll be 18 soon, and it seems like she's already going on 18, but that's how it goes, man.
- 7:42Seth Holehouse: Yeah. Well, so let's just let's just dive right in, though. And what I wanna talk with you about today is a few things. The biggest one is looking at how the war is shaping precious metals, not just precious metals, oil, you know, dollar index, these things. Because whenever you see these wars happen, they're you're always seeing the ripple effects in the financial markets.
- 8:05And I think that the biggest thing I'm seeing is just a lot of volatility, which makes sense. I mean, if you're looking at just the volatility of what Trump tweets, it's like, okay, we go from, hey, we've got an agreement. There's a ceasefire. The next day, it's like, okay, we bombed them, and then Israel bombed them, and they're gonna bomb us again. And there's always this back and forth as people are speculating, okay, is the war ending?
- 8:24If it's gonna end, you see certain things going up and certain things going down. If it doesn't end, it keeps going. You see these drops again. So it's pretty it's a pretty wild ride. But I was talking about silver on one of my recent shows, silver and gold, and saying, like, what I'm seeing right now, like, this is the exact this is, like, the buying opportunity.
- 8:42Right? If you look at the movement we had first quarter this year into now. But anyway, what are you seeing? Because I know you're you're real technical and you're following this stuff really closely. So what's your perception of what's happening?
- 8:54Micah Haince: So couple of things like, yeah, we've had a couple of months of consolidation and correction and the correction in in gold and silver, both. You know, that did obviously coincide with the war and the escalations there, kind of popping off and maybe catching us a little bit off guard and by surprise. We were due, and we've talked about this before on your show, that we were due for kind of some type of reset anyway. Like, had a great run from September of last year to January of this year, we ran from 30 to $120 in silver. Right?
- 9:25To have a thirty, forty, 50% correction, that's actually very common, especially in bull markets. So in the seventies, in the early two thousands, in two thousand and eight to twenty eleven, we have had these 30 to 50% corrections in the middle of a massive bull market, and we are still in one. And I'm absolutely confident we're going to be making higher highs very soon. The thing about the last eight weeks, last two months, it's a little long in the tooth. Corrections were intermittent cycle lows and ICL for us technical nerds, they tend to last, you know, eight to ten.
- 10:00So we're we're kind of right in the range of of of needing to have that that that bottoming. And I think last week and really three times since that top in January, hit 65 in silver. So we went from one twenty to 65. We double tapped in February. We tested it one more time just last week in March, and we're already back up above $75 right now.
- 10:23And I think that that really will prove to be the triple bottom and the end of the consolidation. So for those who have yet to buy, and I know it's hard to buy when it's chopping around and it's up and it's down $10 every week, the volatility just comes with the the bull market and all the other things that are going on, all the other big global risks that we see. But really, I do think that what's about to happen is something really a lot like what we saw from October through January. So I could see we've given the thesis or the rationale for $200 silver on your show. I think we could see that as early as June, maybe giving myself a little bit more buffer, like maybe sometime later in the fall, like September.
- 11:07So, you know, if the bottom is in, we will actually see a pretty fast move upward. I don't want to say we're completely out of the woods yet, but the technical signs I'm seeing today and yesterday are very, very encouraging. Add to that, it looks like the negotiations around the war in Iran might be making some some progress and price of oil is shot down like 10% just today on the basis of there being a potential settlement and ceasefire in Iran. And so, you know, all this stuff has been, you know, the price of oil has been creating recessionary concerns because of the price of energy. That's the oil chart right there.
- 11:46So, it went from, you know, 105 to 100, down 5% in, you know, half an hour. Pretty much. Yeah.
- 11:52Seth Holehouse: Actually, he says three minutes there. Wild. Right?
- 11:55Micah Haince: There there you go. Right? So 5% in three minutes, basically, because the president suggested that, you know, things are things are looking good and they're gonna wrap up. You know, when we spoke last, I said there's one camp that thinks this stuff's gonna be over super soon as far as the war in Iran goes, and then the other camp that thinks this is gonna go on like a super super long kind of like in Afghanistan or in Iraq. I actually think the contrarian opinion was that it would be over sooner rather than later, and I think we might actually be seeing that.
- 12:25That'll create a bit of a boost for stocks, which obviously have been in a big slump since it started alongside the metals. But I think stocks and the metals could shoot higher, if this stuff is really over now. Of course, anything could happen, and it could be a tweet in a couple of couple of hours that changes things. But I'm of the opinion that metals are finishing their consolidation, and, we're off to the races now.
- 12:46Seth Holehouse: And so when you say consolidation, and I'll I guess I'll let me kinda give you my more elementary kind of view of this, right, is that when so you look at silver for a very long time, it was very stable, right around 30. Right? It it was it was very healthy, kinda consistent. And then a series of events, saw silver over the course of last year heading into early this year, take some pretty insane gains. I remember seeing, you know, 10%, 8%, 9% day after day.
- 13:18And so it went up, and it and we obviously you we you mentioned it spiked, hitting up, you know, around $1.20, then it comes back down. Right? And then now it's been hovering right around 70. Right? Maybe it's, you know, high sixties, mid seventies, kinda touching 80 a little bit.
- 13:33But am I correct in understanding that how these things oftentimes work is that it's that you have, it has this kinda healthy baseline, you might see a big jump up, it kind of carries and carries, and it's almost like it uses all this energy to carry it up, and then it kind of consolidates, it comes back down, but it finds this new baseline again. And that becomes your new, I guess, floor, right, or whatever support level. And then you might That's have it kind
- 13:59Micah Haince: thing.
- 13:59Seth Holehouse: Right? That the fact that we've seen it kind of reestablish this new floor at around 70, it kind of shows that it wasn't just this fluke that because I remember when when silver crossed 50 and everyone's saying, oh my gosh. You know, it's happened before. We saw what happened last time it touched 50, and it came right back down to, say, 20. And but then when it kept going, and I think it disproved that idea.
- 14:24And so, basically, when you say consolidation, is that basically what it means is that it's like the energy that it would take to carry it from 30 to one twenty, that energy kinda pulls back, and it consolidates and starts rebuilding its strength. And then once it's ready to kinda go back up again, it's almost like the would imagine that the more solidly inconsistent it can consolidate, it's kinda building momentum. And once and once it breaks out again, it saves that energy up. So maybe before we saw thirty, one twenty, back to, like, seventy, seventy, say, maybe next time we're gonna see it go 70 to maybe one fifty or even 200. Maybe it'll then come back down to, one twenty and consolidate.
- 15:05And is that is that roughly how this oftentimes works?
- 15:08Micah Haince: That's exactly it. And so I think putting it that way, said it perfectly, that it's just creating a new floor at a much higher price. Right? And the floor is essentially a launch pad, but you're you're you're going to shoot off from a much higher kind of base point.
- 15:24Seth Holehouse: Ladies and gentlemen, our world is being poisoned. Every day, we're exposed to more chemicals sprayed into our skies, leaching into our food, and polluting our air and water. - 16:56All the links and information are in the description below.
- 17:01Micah Haince: So let's look back at, like, 2020. Before 2020, you know, that you were buying then, I was buying then. Silver was in the teens. Right?
- 17:08Seth Holehouse: I remember buying '17. It was it was great. Right?
- 17:11Micah Haince: It was stuck in the teens for years. And then March 2020, actually around this time, we had $11 silver, and it went from $11 silver in March 2020 to $30 in August or September 2020. So in, like, four months, it basically had tripled in price, so 11 to $30. And then, you know, between 2020 and 2025, it it kind of bopped around the mid twenties, right, and it created a nice big base in that range. And then when we shot out of the $30 range just, you know, this past fall, let's say, $5 is kind of the, you know, the big line in the sand up until September or late August, it used 30 as a launch pad now to get to 120.
- 17:54So 11 to 30, that was a triple, 30 to 120, that was a quadruple. Now we're basing. Like you said, it was as low as 65, as high as 85. Let's kind of take a mid seventies, low seventies kind of average. That's where we've been spending the last two months.
- 18:10So what I think happens next is, again, not tomorrow, but I think we're kind of in the final chapters of this basing, right, where it's been finding that kind of nice tight little coil and it's got its comfortable floor from which it can relaunch. And when it relaunches, it could do a very similar tripling, doubling, tripling, quadrupling. Who knows? I think, again, all the fundamentals that are really driving the silver market, all the shorts and all the manipulation ending, the paper market's kind of ending and the physical market's taking over, there being real supply deficits, being real, you know, tough fundamentals, that stuff hasn't gone away, right? Just because the prices crashed by 50%, all the reasons that silver could never crash back in December and January, right?
- 18:57When it was going up, was hearing this is it, it's going to keep going, and of course, like it will, but it has to have these kind of ebbs and flows. So, you reset price, you launch from a new higher floor. Resetting sentiment might be the biggest and most important thing, like the way that people feel about it. Like, we went from people being like, Oh my gosh, it's never going to go down to, Oh my gosh, it's never going to go back up. To me, as a contrarian thinker in general, I kind of use those, I guess, my spidey sense, like when people are saying, oh, geez, this is really just, you know, it's never going to go back up.
- 19:31The bull market is over. I use that as like, okay, this is actually fuel for it to jump a lot higher now. And we're right about there, right? And now with sediment starting to turn up and people are starting to see the same signs that I am, that we could be kicking off into that next leg. So, I'm just, you know, watching the charts and stuff, too.
- 19:49I don't have to bore your audience with that, but there's a couple pieces of evidence as well that show us that, you know, we were probably seeing that too. I sent you that downtrend tweet, which, you know, if you want to pull up just to kind of give people who may be a little bit more technically minded just to look at what that could show us.
- 20:11Seth Holehouse: Is it this one right here?
- 20:14Micah Haince: Well, this is a good one that just shows the kind of move we're having today.
- 20:18Seth Holehouse: Oh, okay. So,
- 20:20Micah Haince: you talked about how during the, you know, October, November, December, January run, had how many five, seven, eight, nine, 10% up days in a single day, right? Like in both gold and in silver. Well, we've got like a nearly 7% up day in silver right now and three and a half, 3% up day in gold, which is big for gold. So the fact that we're coming out of this basing pattern and then we're having an explosive move higher, like what I call these out of the blue days shows me that buyers are stepping back in here in very large amounts. Right.
- 21:00That's a lot of buying to push the price up so high in one single day. But then it also, again, falls on the heels potentially of the war ending. And it's getting maybe a big boost from that. So there was one other thing I sent you. You don't have to look for it.
- 21:18You know, again, this stuff's boring the most, not to me, but the downtrend one is kind of helpful. It just shows you that you're breaking out of what was a two month kind of descending triangle shape, And now it's broken out of the the resistance, like the ceiling that was kind of capping price in a downtrend. We busted through that now. And that's all people need to take from that is there's always a floor. There's always a ceiling.
- 21:42You're range bound between the two until one breaks. So if your floor breaks, you go and find a new floor, something that's a sturdy support level. But if you break through the ceiling, then you're going to go and find a new one, right? When we broke out of the all time high, like you said, at 50, everyone thought that was it. But no, we kept going new high at 60, new high at 70, new high at 80, 90, 1 100, 100 10, 120.
- 22:04So we finally found that ceiling. Now that's our big all time high. We will take out that 120 mark. I I think that could happen in, like, May or June. It's yeah.
- 22:15Seth Holehouse: And how how does this how does this tie into what's happening with the Fed? Because I know that Powell is his his tenure is almost up. There's gonna be some changes there. If I remember correctly, they came out recently. I think they said there wouldn't be any rate, changes until, what, 2027, I think.
- 22:33I mean, it was so, like, how what's happening with the Fed, and how does that affect what we're seeing with precious metals?
- 22:40Micah Haince: Yeah. And so just a quick recap there. You're right. So Jerome Powell has been the Fed chair for many years. He's been there, I think, eight years at the end of this term, so two four year term.
- 22:50So he started in 2016. Actually, Trump's first presidency is when he started as well. So his term is done now. He'll be replaced in May. He hasn't been confirmed, but he has been nominated.
- 23:03It's Kevin Walsh who's been selected to do that. A couple of weeks ago, had their FOMC, the Federal Open Market Committee meeting, which is the meeting that is used to set rate increases or lowering interest rates. And they decided to hold. Actually, was kind of the worst of all decisions because, you know, two weeks ago, we're still in the thick of the war. Right?
- 23:26And and there's two things to consider. Right? The war is going on. Oil prices are going up. If oil prices are going up, then the biggest kind of cost input to any business into the economy in general, including consumers like making it to work and whatnot, that's going through the roof.
- 23:42It's also very inflationary. So the the the cost of oil shooting up is at the same time recessionary because you have less spending, less dispensable income. You know, the cost of goods also, it's more expensive to ship things and get things and buy things. And the cost of goods are going up while the economic kind of performance is going down. That's literally the worst of both worlds.
- 24:08So normally, when you have inflation, you want to raise rates, right, because you have to have higher interest rates to kind of get up above the rate of inflation, and that way you can kind of tap them down. Traditionally, you need rates at 2% above the rate of inflation to really get them down. And that's why we hiked so much after COVID. We created so much inflation through all the money printing and all the low rates during COVID that from 2022 to 2024, we had the fastest, steepest rate hiking cycle to try and get it down. Well, with oil going up and inflation going up, you'd want to raise rates, but the problem is that you're also seeing record job losses, like the February jobs report was terrible.
- 24:49And like I said, the cost of energy going up is very recessionary. It's very bad for the economy. So they would love to cut rates to provide some relief to the economy and allow easier credit and those types of things. But they can't because inflation and the cost of goods is also going up. So they're really stuck.
- 25:07When you try to avoid both, unfortunately, you kind of get both. And the combination of a recession and really bad inflation is what's called stagflation. Okay. And we haven't seen that for a really long time. I think we are going to get that you know, into the end of the decade, but probably really badly in the 2030s.
- 25:27I think it's going to be like a decade or more of that type of economic condition. But the reason it's so bad is because it's like the cost of everything is going up, but the economy is contracting and shrinking and everyone's losing their jobs. So no one's getting a raise. If anything, you're getting laid off. No one can find new jobs and your monthly expenses keep going up and up and up.
- 25:48And the last time we saw a stagflation was in the seventies. And from 1974 to 1980, gold went up 25 times because of the stagflationary condition. Silver went up 37 times in six years under the same conditions, and the price of gas went up 10 times. So maybe we're not there yet because this war is being solved and the price of gas might return to the mid sixties or seventies or something lower than where we are now. You know, the next weeks and months will prove that out.
- 26:20But eventually, I do still think we end up in that situation, unfortunately. And the best defense is physical metals.
- 26:27Seth Holehouse: I also think that and this is kinda a whole different way of looking at this. So I look at I look at metals from a few different angles. Right? One is just, you know, tracking as an asset, right, as a commodity looking at, okay, what are the prices? You know, is it going up as an investment?
- 26:44Looking at it say, okay. I'm thinking, If I can buy it today at, say, 65, then if it goes up within three months and it goes above, you know, $1.20 or whatever, it's like, Hey. That's great. Right? Because I remember buying it, you know, a bunch of silver at, you know, as it was going up.
- 26:58I know, this is kind of part of my overall strategy. It's it's kinda how I save my money instead of putting it into a a bank account that can be blocked or canceled or who knows what, not to mention is monitored. I like to just kind of put it, you know, so if I had an extra $500, it's like, okay, I'll go get, you know, a few ounces here, a few ounces there, and that's just my my kind of savings strategy. So that's one thing, and looking at it just as more of a as a monetary instrument. But then the other thing is looking at it as it's off grid it's an off grid asset.
- 27:28And and that's the big thing is because, and this is outside of looking at charts and markets and everything. Like, to me, like, the the biggest underlying theme that I'm seeing with this war is regardless of whose fault it is, who's controlling who, any of these things, the ripple effect of this war is that we're seeing, it's absolutely helping to lay an even more solid foundation and groundwork towards some sort of agenda 2030. Right? You're seeing that we've now got energy lockdowns coming. Australia disannounced energy lockdowns.
- 28:02We've got the EU are already kind of warning citizens, stay at home, don't It the fuel rationing. And so and that's what I'm seeing amidst all this is that is that they're using this, whether they you know, the kind of controllers created the war as a way of kind of rapidly pushing humanity towards that agenda 2030 goal, or whether the war was just purely, you know, kind of conflict coming from country to country, which I tend to be less kind of believing of just those more simple ways of just, oh, yeah, that guy's mean, that guy's mean, and they can't get along, so they're gonna have a war. I look at it more for, like, yeah, there's a person behind them saying, hey, you two fight, and that's gonna help burn down the schoolyard so I can come in and build my hotel there. Right? Kind of more how I look at things.
- 28:49But that's the other angle with this is that, you know, you're seeing these warnings of Iranian cyberattacks on the banks. You're seeing a lot of, warnings about the inflation, you know, how this is gonna affect the markets. Because before we even got into this war, if you're following, you know, the trends of dedollarization, you're following just the overall health of the global kind of fiat currency based economic system with especially compared to the rise of the BRICS nations, kinda moving from a a unipolar world to a multipolar world, you can see there's some relatively significant shifts happening. And but kind of what you see throughout all of this, especially looking at, say, Palantir and how Palantir, you know, has kind of whether it was Trump's intention all along or whether it was just him being taken advantage of. Doesn't really matter because the reality is is that, you know, Palantir has now become the operating system for our entire government.
- 29:44Right? They're now kinda seeping into everything. And so if you look at this kinda long term goal, okay, what is their plan for us? Ultimately, it is a technocratic system. And as part of that technocratic system, obviously, they need to have the AI infrastructure.
- 30:01And that's part of my thinking is that maybe that's part of why they're creating these these energy lockdowns, and they're not these, like, major limits on the amount of energy that the people can use because they need that energy to power these AI data centers. Right? Like, they're building a data center in my home state of Ohio that's literally gonna be consuming one third of the entire power grid of Ohio. It's insane. And so I'm thinking, okay.
- 30:24Is that part of this? And in that case, if all those things are part of an overarching plan, which I personally believe that they are, then you know that part of that plan is moving us to a central bank digital currency. And and that's just it it just is it's it's not some conspiracy. It's it's written. You can go to the websites, you can see all this stuff.
- 30:44They're talking about it. That's the other angle of silver for me, and gold, is this the fact that for the same reason, I've got a well and I've got, you know, you know, solar generators I can use to pump that well. I'm not on city water that can be shut off, and I can then be forced to kind of, you know, have my carbon credits measured if I want access to a certain amount of water. That's my own perspective with this is because this right here is off grid money. And and that's ultimately like, that's my number one reason why I'm putting whatever assets I have into things like silver because I do believe that at some point, they're going to try to shove this mark of the beast CBDC system into down our throats, and they're they'll do they'll do whatever they can to force us into that.
- 31:31And that's why I'd rather have my assets sitting in something like this than in some JPMorgan savings account that, you know, I can get a notification one day and saying, hey. Your account has been converted to credits, you know, some sort of credit system, and it's gonna be monitored with some sort of, you know, universal ledger. So, anyway, that's that's also how I'm looking at what's happening with all of this.
- 31:52Micah Haince: I I agree 100%. And, you know, when and how it all goes down, we'll find out in the next few years. I don't think it's all that far off. But, you know, the the whole, you know, David Ike, as crazy as he might be, has been a writer write about a lot of stuff. I've, like, read his books, you know, fifteen, twenty years ago.
- 32:10But he he calls it the problem.
- 32:12Seth Holehouse: So you're like an OG conspiracy theorist. Oh,
- 32:15Micah Haince: man. Yeah. I go I go I've been down been to the bottom of every rabbit hole several times and back. You know? It's hard to it's hard to or to spend too much time thinking about that stuff because it just makes it like very gloomy.
- 32:27So I kind of like hope for hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. But problem prices solution, right? What's the problem? You know, energy is too cheap. Okay, let's blow up around.
- 32:37Let's double the price of energy. And then the solution is, Okay, everybody's energy rationed or whatever else.
- 32:43Seth Holehouse: So, yeah,
- 32:44Micah Haince: I think we'll see stuff like that. Inevitably, I think we will end up on some kind of you know, hopefully gold backed CBDC, but CBDC nonetheless, that I think is going to be really scary. So, you and I can transact in this stuff. I keep a bunch of coins at my desk. And I can figure out what you have that I need and, you know, we can just make a little exchange.
- 33:04No one knows. I jokingly call Gold and Silver the original cryptos. They're like, they are originally, you know, they are the OG crypto. Nobody knows that you and I have transacted if we do so in real money, in God's money. And so I think, you know, it's just part of everybody's portfolio and I think we're still not there yet.
- 33:24Like, you and I have discussed these stats before, like half of 1% is all the gold and all the silver and all the mining companies and all the ETFs in everyone's portfolios. Still, even today in U. S. Portfolios, less than a percent, half of 1%. We'll get up to 3% to 5% before we're a top in the market, which could still be two, three, four, five years away.
- 33:44We'll see more and more people shift into gold and silver as this bull trend matures and we get into these higher prices. We've talked before about how silver is a bit of a Giffen good, which means people don't want it when it's low. They only want it when it's high. And we've got this saying that, like, the average person won't call us until we're at the 200 to $300 silver range. By that time, my original clients from five and six years ago will have more than 10 times their original investments.
- 34:13But that'll really be what triggers Joe Schmo and the regular investor to come in. And then you get a huge floodgate move. You know, at some point, we'll probably have a bit of a bubble in this space, but it's not anything near one yet. I think the things to be cautious of is a lot of people think that they have this is what I'm seeing a lot from my perspective as a professional in this space. It helps people move their assets over and protect them with real gold and silver is one of the biggest trends lately is people for the last few years haven't really paid too much attention to what kind of gold and silver are owned in their portfolios.
- 34:48They just figured they have some because their financial advisor says, Yeah, you've got some gold, you've got some silver. Well, turns out it's GLD and SLV, these like totally unbacked JPMorgan instruments that, yeah, they expose you to the price action, right? So, you're up a lot in terms of nominal dollar increase, but you don't own any actual silver. Paper silver doesn't power the world. Real silver does.
- 35:14You don't want the paper stuff. So, the thing I'm seeing lately is we're having these big accounts come over and they go, Geez, I never knew I didn't have real silver. And I'd say we're still really early. But back to mind, like this is the end of the consolidation. I don't say this lightly or to cause an undue sense of urgency, but I really think like in the 70s, you know, for silver and the $45,600 range for gold right now, this might be the cheapest that they get for the next year because once they launch again, they'll correct at some point.
- 35:46But to your earlier point, they'll shoot up to maybe 200 silver and then come back to 120 and then go sideways there for several months where you can pick it up again. But these higher floors, they keep escalating. So, really do mean this, not as a sales guy, not as a professional, like as an investor and as a prepper and as a tinfoil hat, David Ike reading conspiracy theorist, like we probably won't see cheaper gold and silver for the next ever. Forever? Ever we had.
- 36:19Yes, I was going say several several months, years, whatever, but like literally probably ever again. Because all these levels have disappeared, right? Like, if you and I could go back and buy more at $11 silver, we would. If we could go back at 20 or 25 or 30, we'd buy it hand over fist. We're probably never going to get the 70s back once we launch out of this space.
- 36:37And I'm not saying that ends tomorrow, but we're we're I think, like I said, eight to ten weeks is a normal correction. We're at eight eight weeks right now. This might continue, let's say, into mid April, but beyond that, it's it's blast off then.
- 36:49Seth Holehouse: I I couldn't agree more. Yeah. It's it's kinda like I remember, you know, when when silver was $20 an ounce, I was almost begging people. Right? So just please just trust me.
- 36:58Just buy it. Buy it. Buy it. And and most people were they let me up by a little bit, but they they didn't they they they rather would have kept everything in the stock market or, you know, whatever their TD Advisor or, you know, Vanguard account was was kind of recommending to them. But one thing, actually, I do wanna touch on that I just remembered is that so there's been so Tucker Carlson has done some big episodes on the gold scam.
- 37:22Right? And and I had I had seen this because I was working with someone that was had he had people coming to him, and he and he was analyzing their invoices. Right? So when people will come to him and they'd say, hey.
- 37:33Micah Haince: I've done a lot not to interrupt, but I've done a lot of ad over the years. It's scary stuff. Keep keep going.
- 37:38Seth Holehouse: Oh, yeah. It was funny is that it's interesting because I remember asking I didn't I never published it because I'm very careful about publishing specific names. Right? Now Tucker has. You know, Tucker, think he's he's called out a handful of but gold companies that those companies were the exact same ones I saw the red flags with us a couple of years ago, where this guy was saying, look, Seth, I'm seeing these people come in, you know, they come in to inquire about, you know, buying whatever.
- 38:01They he says, okay, let me see your current account, see what your current, you know, kind of purchase history was. And he was seeing people that were paying, you know, $400,000 for $180,000 worth of silver. I mean, the markups were just absolutely insane. And that was, you know, one of the things that that I I really vetted, you know, Noble Gold in looking at how you guys handle this because I'm like, if I was recommending one of those companies to all all the others How
- 38:29Micah Haince: could sleep at night? Like, I don't know
- 38:31Seth Holehouse: how this is do. Sick. But I know because those exact companies that they've approached me, and and they've said, hey, won't you work with us? They pay so much But it's like, I I can't do that because I kinda look as like, well, all I'm doing is I'm stealing the money from people that trust me. And and I can't do Right?
- 38:49And so I wanted to just ask you about, like, how your process with IRAs, but also show that it's like, I trust you so much that literally, my mom, like, after after our last show together, she, you know, she called she talked to me, like, the weekend after, and she goes, Seth, I just I was on the phone with Micah for an hour. Right? Yeah. And it's like, I felt so good even again, like, if I would recommend my own mom to do to do something, I have to trust in it. Right?
- 39:17Because this is my mother. Right?
- 39:18Micah Haince: I almost couldn't believe when she called and asked for me. I was like, wow, that's a huge vote of confidence. So thank you for that. And, yeah, we're taking care of her account right now. We'll probably be done within a week or so.
- 39:28So she'll be well on her way. And, you know, I've been staying in touch with her the last month or so, and we've been watching this kind of grind. And I just told her, hey, you know, I'll let you know when I think things are really popping off. And so to your other point, with respect to, like, the stuff that I've seen over the years, you wouldn't believe it. I've seen 80 year old, sweet little old ladies who buy like $1,200,000 worth of gold and silver, and then they go weird, my equity trust account, and that's the custodian that we use that kinda shows you the metals in your IRA and shows you your holdings and what they're worth that day.
- 40:02She goes, why does it only look like about 400,000? Can you please look at my receipt and tell me, you know, what I what what what went wrong? And I just said the first telltale sign thing you run away from as soon as they start talking about them is if they talk about anything that's not just standard bullion. Right? Regular bars, regular coins.
- 40:23But if they start talking about a one and a quarter ounce, this or that, like Papua New Guinea Arctic Monkey, this and that, and it's super rare and limited mint run, and you just run away because they obfuscate the actual cost per ounce really easily that way. And that's the biggest red flag. They'll also say there's all these tax advantages to buying this really weird coin because it's when you sell it or take distribution, it's not going to be treated as as as regular. Like, it's completely fabricated, but they will steal 50% of a million dollar account from a lady who's too old to ever recover that. Right.
- 41:00But those guys are making so much money. You know, they're basically fraudsters and they're criminals. It's like the Wolf of Wall Street, basically. But they're making so much money that that must be how they sleep at night, that they just don't care. I could never do that.
- 41:14As an educator, like we're a business, we can't give it away. But I'm in the single digits for markups, not in thirty, forty, 50 plus. I've seen a 100% markups. And this stuff happens to smart people, Seth. Like, it's not just the super uninitiated, like, kind of oblivious to how the bullion market works.
- 41:30And that's the first thing we'll do is explain to you, like, how we make money, how these things are priced, why we recommend the items at the lowest price per ounce so that you can get as much metal as you can for your money and the best bang for your buck. The more ounces you get, the better you do, the better you do, the better we do. You Like 70% of our business is by referral, sorry, it's repeat and referral. And if we just took everyone to the cleaners that we could, we wouldn't have any repeat and no referrals, right? And that's actually how most of these companies get away with it.
- 42:03Just take them for what you can on the first one. But I've seen Mayo Clinic doctors call me and say, Did I overpay for these 0.25 ounce gold coins? And this is about a year ago at 2 or $3,000 gold. He said, I paid $1,500 for a quarter ounce gold coin. Like, do you think there's anything wrong with this?
- 42:24Can you look at my statement? I go, well, you know, you're the doctor, but do the math. You know, 1,500 doesn't sound that bad for a quarter ounce coin that's super special, but you're paying $6,000 an ounce at $3.03 300. Right? So you're paying 8080% markup.
- 42:43Right? So unfortunately, this stuff happens, but we keep gobbling up more and more market share every year as things go by. We don't have the biggest advertising budgets that's working with great channels like yours that we're able to get smart, like minded people. But if we treat the client well and do a good job and anyone who bought from me six months or more ago, they're ecstatic with their portfolios and they're going to get only even better. But we're still at a really crucial time where it's very, very early.
- 43:12Right. We want to help as many people as we can. So, you know, you help us get the word out about the work that we do. I appreciate the opportunity to talk about that a little bit. We never like to disparage other companies, but there's just a way of doing business that's honest.
- 43:25And, we do it the right way, and that's actually because of Colin. Colin, my boss, is the man. He's a total man, as you know. You've had him on your channel many times, but he is the he is the reason we do, business the way that we do.
- 43:36Seth Holehouse: Well, it's good because I think that because I I've worked in a handful of different industries, but I was in the jewelry and and precious metals industry. You know, I I was in in New York I worked in the Diamond District in New York City for quite some time. I I saw behind the scenes, but what I could see is that there was it's like, especially when you start getting into jewelry, but jewelry and precious metals, they're one of the few things where people can spend 6 or 7 figures on something that they don't know much about. Right? Like, anyone was say you're gonna buy an investment investment condo in Palm Beach.
- 44:12Right? And say you're you're gonna buy a $1,600,000 condo. You're you're doing comps, you're making sure that most of the bank has to verify it, right, to make sure that it's matching market value and everything. There's so many all these different protections in in in place. But when it comes to precious metals or jewelry, it's it's a it's a wild west.
- 44:30And I would hear these stories of these guys coming in, especially with jewelry, and they'd be bragging. Like, they would say, oh, gosh. This old, you know, woman came in, and and she had this sapphire ring. And, you know, they're like, we we bought this sapphire ring from her for $3,000 because they knew it was a cashmere sapphire. And they went that sapphire ring could have been worth $80,000, right?
- 44:51Because that's that's just how it is. People don't know what they have, but I had a reputation for myself that I was just really honest with people. And so if that came in, I would say, hey, look, let's first get this certified. I want to see what it's really worth. Unless they said, Look, I just want to sell it.
- 45:04I'll take the risk or whatever. And then, you know, they're in a rush, I'd still try to give them a very fair price to my best ability. But I just that's just how I did things. I was just always transparent with people, even when I was buying gold, right? They'd come in, I'd calculate my whole notes, I have my old notebook still from my gold buying business, right?
- 45:20And I'd have this whole sheet and I'd draw it all out. And I would say, Okay, well, look, you've got, you know, I calculate all in front of them. I say, okay, you have a, you know, there's $33,000 worth of, there's a lucky 33, right? And always, you know, comes out. Right?
- 45:33I'm not a Mason, I promise. Anyway, so you have, you know, you have say 30 some odd thousand high
- 45:37Micah Haince: ranking one.
- 45:38Seth Holehouse: Yeah. Yeah, exactly. I get asked that. I'm like, no. And but I'd say, okay.
- 45:43Look. Here's your here's your melt price. Yeah. I'm gonna buy you know, at that time you're buying, you know, jewelry over the counter, maybe I'm buying it, like, 15% below melt because I have to then I have to hold it for a certain time. I have to go melt it.
- 45:55Sometimes it'll come out, like, you know, whatever it is. But I was always just really transparent with them, and that's how I learned to do things. And but that gave me an an advantage because as I was looking for like, I knew how important precious metals were in terms of what the core products I believed in that I wanted to recommend, but I'm not a jewelry dealer. I'm not a gold dealer. So as I was vetting people, I remember calling you guys up, actually talking to Fernando and saying, okay.
- 46:18Hey. I wanna call up as a customer. How do you price things? How do you handle this? And it's like, okay.
- 46:23Checked all the boxes. Like, okay. I I can I can trust you guys? And that's why, you know, I I've got this relationship with you, and I talked to Colin numerous times about this stuff. And it's like, okay.
- 46:32You check out. Right? Because I I I feel a lot of responsibility for anybody that recommends a product on my show. I turned down I turned down honestly, probably 95% of any advertiser or product that approaches me. Sure.
- 46:45Which happens all the time. Nope, nope, nope. Even if a supplement company comes to me, I go, I look up where they manufacture at, how they source their ingredients, you know, who owns the company, is it actually secretly owned by BlackRock? I'm not gonna touch it. So anyway, yeah, it's it's
- 47:01Micah Haince: important So ethics, ethics and, you know, alignment and values and stuff, like, you know, we have all that. We think alike. Even today, we dress a little bit alike.
- 47:10Seth Holehouse: Yeah, I know. I going to comment on that one.
- 47:12Micah Haince: I know we're both two homesteader conspiracy theorists and plaids. So, you know, we appreciate you. We want to keep this going, but we do want to help. Like, personally on a bit of a mission to try to get as many people on board as I can. Been buying for ten years, been working here for almost six.
- 47:29I just want more people on board because, again, like, yeah, it's not 20 or 30 or teens anymore, but it's still a great time to get in. We have an unproportionate amount of people who are just still a big disproportionate amount of people who are still just ignoring this and the risks that exist in the dollar, in the banking system, in the national debt, with geopolitics, with CBDCs, but you know, the list goes on. All the stars have aligned for gold and silver. They are the best performing asset the last couple of years. They will continue to be for another two, three, four, five, maybe, you know, we just got to see, I can't see that far into the future, but doing now and the end of the decade is the only thing I'm doing.
- 48:10So I know we're coming up against time. There's one thing I want to
- 48:13Seth Holehouse: Oh, please, please do. Yes.
- 48:15Micah Haince: Really quickly is I've got like a huge collection of personal silver. These are my hand poured pieces, and I thought I pulled these out because I think they're all kind of funny. So this is my hand poured silver skull. It's one ounce, and this has been kind of representative of, like, all the people who have been, like, calling that, you know, the top is in. It's this 2011.
- 48:34Instead of hitting and crashing and going sideways for ten years, we got to one twenty and now it's gonna do the same. So it's been really hard, for some people to believe that there's still a lot of runway left because of all the doomsday, people who are saying, you know, silver is dead, my silver skull. But then I've got a lot of clients and a lot of new ones, old and new, that have been buying like crazy. And this is a hand poured well, maybe it's upside down. This is a hand poured silver lion.
- 48:59So you gotta have the courage of a lion to buy when it's going down like crazy. Right? So I think, you know, the people who have been stepping in to buy like today, you know, 7% up in silver, I think we are seeing the end of the consolidation. The buyers are coming back in. They've got the courage that it's going back up.
- 49:13This is obviously Silver Cross. You got to have faith in God, but faith that the market is still intact and that bull markets make higher highs. And so those who are buying today know and believe and have faith that we're going much, much higher in the coming years. And then this is my funny three ounce silver rocket, which I think is what happens, you know, between now and the end the year and in the many years to come is that we are gonna launch to new highs, and they're not far off now. So just a fun little way to cap it off with my personal collection, my hand poured stuff.
- 49:45But I think each of those is kind of a timely thing to show. I think it all wraps up really, really well and has this position for a really exciting end of the year, Seth. So thanks again for having me on, man.
- 49:55Seth Holehouse: Yeah. Absolutely. And so if people want to work with you, work with Noble Gold, so the all the links and information are in the show description, but it's just goldwithseth.com. There's a simple form there. That's one way of, you know, kind of setting up a call.
- 50:11There's also the phone number (877) 646-5347. There's also a phone number in the description. And what's also cool, obviously, I love having Colin on, but Colin, you know, he's busy running the companies, and he's running multiple companies. But what I like about this is that if people are like, hey, that Micah guy, I I can trust him. He's got a flannel shirt.
- 50:29You know, he read David Eichel a long time ago, so he's not some sleepwalking, you know, kind of idiot. And so they can actually work with you directly. Right? Obviously, you know, you don't have your direct line, but if they call in, they can request and they can say, hey, I'd love to talk to Micah, which is my mom. Right?
- 50:44Same thing with her. Said, just call the main line and just ask for Micah. And she did that. And you spend an hour talking to her, explaining, and that's what you do. Right?
- 50:52You're you can you can tell with your little hand poured things, you're a silver geek. Right? I am too. Oh, yeah. And so they can talk to you, pick your brain, you'll patiently explain all the scenarios.
- 51:04And what I like is that you're not some kind of hard salesman. It's like, okay, you'll give them the information, you'll answer the questions, you'll teach them, and it's up to them. Right? You only want people coming in that really believe in it and wanna do it because if someone gets pressured into it, you know, a month later, they're say, look, I wanna exit my position. I'm not happy.
- 51:22Micah Haince: Totally. Yeah. No. Exactly. Call and ask for me.
- 51:25You can work directly with me, but all my colleagues are actually amazing. We're all investors. We're not really salespeople. So they're all gonna treat you exactly like I would. But if you wanna work with me, you know, that's why I do these shows, to be able to just throw our message out there, talk a little bit about, you know, why we're at a really key time to maybe make that first call.
- 51:44And, again, no pressure. Like, you want to buy now, you want to buy in a year, you want to buy in two years, we'll be here to help happily. But there are certain opportunities along the way that really present kind of key times to take that initiative. So give me a buzz. Ask for Micah.
- 51:59Ask for any of us. And again, thank you for following Seth and supporting his channel. And Seth, thanks for the partnership. Hope to do this again, and we can chat in about a month, hopefully at higher prices, but we'll just see how things go, and it's gonna be an exciting journey nonetheless. So thank you so much, and we'll do this again soon.
- 52:15Seth Holehouse: Absolutely, Micah. Thanks again for your time today, man.
- 52:18Micah Haince: See you, brother.
