- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we are last break of the
- 0:02Speaker 1: day on this Monday. It's been a good day. Thank
- 0:05Speaker 1: you everyone for listening and writing with us every single day.
- 0:08Speaker 2: We appreciate your.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Business as always. Steve yes, Hey, here's my closing remarks.
- 0:14Speaker 2: This is some advice I want to give to everybody,
- 0:17Speaker 2: because I have to remind myself of it every now
- 0:20Speaker 2: and then too. Stay out of your past. You don't
- 0:26Speaker 2: belong there, my closing remarks. Stay out of your past.
- 0:35Speaker 2: You don't belong there. Too many times people hold on
- 0:42Speaker 2: to things that are not beneficial to your future, and
- 0:50Speaker 2: living in the past is the quickest way to deaden
- 0:57Speaker 2: your future. Do you know how many people are belaboring
- 1:04Speaker 2: dark moments of the past. You see celebrities do it
- 1:09Speaker 2: all the time.
- 1:11Speaker 1: I heard it.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Celebrities say I'm not gonna forget it. I'm not gonna
- 1:17Speaker 2: forget it. Well, it ain't gonna forget you either. When
- 1:22Speaker 2: you hang on to the darkness of the past, it
- 1:27Speaker 2: kills the bright future that's waiting on you. Stay out
- 1:34Speaker 2: of your past. You don't belong there. The past belongs
- 1:40Speaker 2: to history. It's what was, what happened, what went down,
- 1:47Speaker 2: what popped off? If you stay there, you will remain
- 1:52Speaker 2: there because, like I said, if you hold on to
- 1:56Speaker 2: your past, your past will hold on to you. Your
- 2:02Speaker 2: goal in life is when God wakes you up tomorrow,
- 2:06Speaker 2: he gives you a new set of twenty four. You
- 2:10Speaker 2: get a whole new twenty four. It's like playing in
- 2:13Speaker 2: a football game and you get a first down, you
- 2:16Speaker 2: get a new set of downs. If you can push
- 2:19Speaker 2: the football every ten yards in a football game, even
- 2:23Speaker 2: a football game, they give you a new set of downs.
- 2:26Speaker 1: They start you over at down number one.
- 2:29Speaker 2: If you gain every time you gain ten yards, you
- 2:31Speaker 2: get a fresh set of downs. Every time you wake
- 2:36Speaker 2: up in the morning, you get a fresh twenty four.
- 2:39Speaker 2: And in this twenty four you get to do the
- 2:42Speaker 2: things that you didn't accomplish in the twenty four you
- 2:45Speaker 2: had before. You can actually get it right this time.
- 2:50Speaker 2: When you wake up, you actually have a say so.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Once God wakes you up, you have a say so
- 2:56Speaker 2: in how your day goes. You actually get to determine
- 2:59Speaker 2: if you got on the right side of the bed,
- 3:01Speaker 2: and you know how you get up on the right
- 3:03Speaker 2: side of the bed. With gratitude. Stop saying I'm not
- 3:07Speaker 2: a morning person. That's the most ignorant thing you can
- 3:10Speaker 2: do to yourself. I'm just not a morning person. So
- 3:13Speaker 2: now you're a brain. Because they follow instructions, your brain
- 3:17Speaker 2: has to manufacture thoughts that says you're not a morning person.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Get up slow, you get up in a bad move,
- 3:26Speaker 2: coffee on help, and you start thinking of reasons to
- 3:31Speaker 2: not be a morning person. I gotta go down here
- 3:34Speaker 2: to this job. I can't stand these people down here.
- 3:37Speaker 2: As soon as I get dressed, I gotta get I'm
- 3:39Speaker 2: so sick of this traffic. I'm tired of people I'm
- 3:42Speaker 2: carpooling with. Blah blah blah blah blah, my uber always late,
- 3:46Speaker 2: blah blah blah blah. Because the moment you say the
- 3:49Speaker 2: claim that I'm not a morning person, your brain starts
- 3:52Speaker 2: manufacturing thoughts to justify that you have a say so
- 3:56Speaker 2: on how your day's goes. Once God wakes you up,
- 3:59Speaker 2: you can say thank you. Gratitude fixes your attitude, and
- 4:04Speaker 2: once you fix your attitude, that's in direct correlation with
- 4:07Speaker 2: your altitude. Stay out of your past. You don't belong there.
- 4:12Speaker 2: I've never been a morning person, Well start being one.
- 4:17Speaker 2: See I'm a morning person. I love the morning. Marjorie
- 4:21Speaker 2: loves the morning. We are up before the sun gets up,
- 4:25Speaker 2: having coffee, discussing what the plan is for today. Man,
- 4:29Speaker 2: start becoming a morning person. Stay out your past. You
- 4:32Speaker 2: don't belong there. God got you through it, you know.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Like I said recently on the podcast, everything I've ever
- 4:42Speaker 2: wanted in life, I had to go through it to
- 4:44Speaker 2: get there. Well, once you've gone through your past to
- 4:48Speaker 2: get to today, why would you go back there?
- 4:52Speaker 1: Why?
- 4:53Speaker 2: It makes no sense. God got you through it so
- 4:57Speaker 2: you could get to it. But get to it if
- 5:01Speaker 2: you remain in the past. I heard this celebrity say
- 5:05Speaker 2: I'm not gonna ever forget. It's like slavery. No, No,
- 5:11Speaker 2: it's not, No, it's not. This is a one particular
- 5:15Speaker 2: incident that you refuse to let go of, y'all.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Don't do that to yourself. Let it go.
- 5:24Speaker 2: It's gone. Do you know the two things that cause
- 5:27Speaker 2: anxiety in your life? It's the two things that you
- 5:31Speaker 2: can't control, your past and tomorrow. Once you dwell and
- 5:36Speaker 2: harp on either one of those, it produces anxiety. Lord,
- 5:41Speaker 2: I don't know what they gonna say when I get
- 5:43Speaker 2: down there next week. Lord, they might not hire me. Lord,
- 5:47Speaker 2: they might have moved supposed the price go up. I
- 5:50Speaker 2: gave a price for this, it might go up. Lord
- 5:52Speaker 2: have mercy. I heard they ain't no black people over there,
- 5:55Speaker 2: so I get over there and they ain't. Now I'm
- 5:56Speaker 2: gonna be the first black over there. Worrying yourself about
- 5:59Speaker 2: something you don't even know nothing about it, you might
- 6:01Speaker 2: get over there and they're cool with everybody. Quit worrying
- 6:05Speaker 2: about the future, over concerning yourself with something you have
- 6:08Speaker 2: no control over. And stay out of your past. You
- 6:11Speaker 2: don't belong there.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Man. If God got you through it, then move on.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Stop holding on to your past, because then your past
- 6:26Speaker 1: holds on to you and you will never see the
- 6:30Speaker 1: bright future God has for you. Those are my closing remarks.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Last thing, y'all, you'll neber to talk to God today.
- 6:38Speaker 1: He would absolutely love to hear from.
