- 0:09Speaker 1: show start.
- 0:09Speaker 2: You think we're live, ry now you're recording.
- 0:13Speaker 3: All right, Okay, here we go. Damn eck. So let
- 0:19Speaker 3: me ask you this.
- 0:19Speaker 4: Do you ever think that you will live to see
- 0:21Speaker 4: the day where you could go to a weed store
- 0:23Speaker 4: and pick up whatever you want? No, Like, if somebody
- 0:26Speaker 4: would have told you in nineteen seventy six the day
- 0:28Speaker 4: that you started smoking, Yeah, one day, fifty years from now,
- 0:31Speaker 4: there's going to be a dispensary on every street corner
- 0:34Speaker 4: and everybody's going to smoke.
- 0:35Speaker 1: If you would have told me five years ago or
- 0:38Speaker 1: ten years ago that that might happen, I would say,
- 0:41Speaker 1: are you out.
- 0:41Speaker 3: Of your mind?
- 0:42Speaker 1: However, I believe that enough has been done to researching
- 0:47Speaker 1: and it's helping a lot of people, and it's better
- 0:50Speaker 1: than drinking.
- 0:51Speaker 3: Try to get drunk and do anything you can't. But
- 0:53Speaker 3: if you're a little high, you're a little more focused.
- 0:55Speaker 3: Sometimes you're a little less focused, but sometimes you can be.
- 0:58Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 0:59Speaker 4: I think the effects of weed are so different for
- 1:01Speaker 4: everybody because I don't think that I'm necessarily at all
- 1:04Speaker 4: more productive when I smoke weed. However, However, though a
- 1:07Speaker 4: friend recently told me that it's all because I'm smoking
- 1:09Speaker 4: the wrong weed and I have to get the right
- 1:11Speaker 4: terpene weed terpenes, terpene, I don't know.
- 1:14Speaker 3: I feel the same way.
- 1:16Speaker 4: Like weed is weed to me, and this is the
- 1:17Speaker 4: same thing with like sativa into all of it.
- 1:19Speaker 3: It all feels the same to me.
- 1:21Speaker 4: I've never smoked weed and thought, oh, I feel different
- 1:23Speaker 4: than I did the last time I smoke.
- 1:25Speaker 2: You know, there are certain things in marijuana. There's different properties,
- 1:29Speaker 2: and they're called terpenes, and they do a certain thing
- 1:31Speaker 2: for you. Some some of it's good for inflammation, some
- 1:34Speaker 2: of it's good for pain, some of it's good, some
- 1:36Speaker 2: of it makes you more euphoric, some of it makes
- 1:39Speaker 2: you really up.
- 1:40Speaker 3: It's unbelievable.
- 1:41Speaker 2: I mean, you can get things done.
- 1:42Speaker 3: Listen, fifty years what is it? What's this? Where are we?
- 1:47Speaker 1: Twenty twenty five, seventy five, twenty five? How many years
- 1:51Speaker 1: is that? Fifty seventy five to twenty five is fifty
- 1:54Speaker 1: years that I've been involved in this stuff.
- 1:56Speaker 3: There's those people that go, oh, my god, you do
- 1:58Speaker 3: what I'm a missed. Oh I can't even go out.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. But
- 2:02Speaker 1: it all depends on your tolerance. But man, you guys
- 2:05Speaker 1: smoke way too much.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Our resident area know it all. Bob is the first
- 2:12Speaker 2: guest on our podcast, which we're gonna start right now.
- 2:16Speaker 5: Welcome to the Blazed and Confused podcast with Becker and Joel,
- 2:21Speaker 5: The trivia podcast where the questions are high, and so
- 2:25Speaker 5: are they. Hates, tractice, slark your curiosity, and line up
- 2:29Speaker 5: some knowledge. Though Blazed and Confused podcast starts now.
- 2:36Speaker 4: Hey, welcome to episode one. Officially, we've launched the podcast.
- 2:41Speaker 3: Wow, what do you need?
- 2:42Speaker 4: You were for an ashtray? That's what I was looking
- 2:44Speaker 4: for and which I gotta think my cousin. This ashtray
- 2:48Speaker 4: came from Peru.
- 2:50Speaker 3: It's not an ashtray. That's a cup. I don't know
- 2:52Speaker 3: if it's an astray or not.
- 2:53Speaker 1: It's a it's a ceramic little It looks like you
- 2:55Speaker 1: smashed garlic in there.
- 2:57Speaker 3: It's multi use. I mean, yeah, yeah, that's what it is.
- 3:00Speaker 3: It's value just went up values. How nice I've heard though.
- 3:03Speaker 4: She was in Peru and she thought of me when
- 3:05Speaker 4: she saw an ashtray. God, and how long ago was
- 3:08Speaker 4: this trap? Peru was like a good two years ago.
- 3:11Speaker 4: I just so, I just got a new car recently.
- 3:13Speaker 4: I open up the I'm cleaning out my old car
- 3:16Speaker 4: and I open up the glove box and there's this
- 3:18Speaker 4: little ashtray sitting in there, and I'm like, oh, that's right.
- 3:20Speaker 3: She was in Peru like two years ago. It got
- 3:23Speaker 3: me this ashtray, and I totally forgot about it.
- 3:25Speaker 4: I guess she gave it to me what we were
- 3:26Speaker 4: out and about, and I threw it quick at my glovebox.
- 3:28Speaker 3: I forgot about it. So now we have a nice
- 3:29Speaker 3: new Peruvian ashtray.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Yeah, it's our only sponsor of this show.
- 3:34Speaker 4: So yes, the Blazing Confused Podcast sponsored by the Peruvian Ashtray.
- 3:38Speaker 2: Well, appreciate your business. I'm Becker. By the way, that's Joel.
- 3:41Speaker 4: Hello, and our first guest tonight or tonight this afternoon
- 3:44Speaker 4: wherever I was listening today is the one the only
- 3:47Speaker 4: Bob Holder.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Thank you that I am honored to be the first
- 3:51Speaker 1: guest on a Blazed and Confused podcast.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Thks for being the podcast.
- 3:54Speaker 1: And by the way, obviously you guys don't smoke a
- 3:58Speaker 1: lot of cigarettes, because if you smoke the cigarettes, you
- 4:02Speaker 1: would understand that ashtrays have those things in them where
- 4:05Speaker 1: you can set your cigarette down. It has a little
- 4:08Speaker 1: indention in it, and it's got usually four little spots
- 4:11Speaker 1: or two or three, depending what kind of an astray
- 4:13Speaker 1: you have. That is not an ashtray. Whoever told you
- 4:16Speaker 1: that was an astray, it's whatever.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Whatever. I'm just trying to tell you that's not an as.
- 4:22Speaker 2: It's kind of like when you see something you're like,
- 4:24Speaker 2: that's that could be a bong, you know what I mean?
- 4:26Speaker 1: Ceramic right, right, it's a ceramic rock holder or a
- 4:29Speaker 1: ceramic pebble holder. It's just a little thing that you
- 4:32Speaker 1: can sip saki out of, and it's nowhere even close
- 4:36Speaker 1: to even looking like an ashtray.
- 4:38Speaker 4: I'm glad you brought up cigarettes because, mister Holder, you
- 4:40Speaker 4: used to smoke cigarettes and then one day you just
- 4:42Speaker 4: woke up and you stopped.
- 4:43Speaker 3: Right telling you you can do it too. Anybody can
- 4:46Speaker 3: do it. I'm trying. Anybody can do it. I'm telling
- 4:48Speaker 3: you you can do it. So I was sick on Friday.
- 4:50Speaker 4: I took the day off of work, and I woke
- 4:52Speaker 4: up I thought, oh my God, do I have bronchitis?
- 4:54Speaker 4: I feel like crap. So I went to the doctor.
- 4:55Speaker 4: Sure enough, she like checks all my symptoms and everything.
- 4:58Speaker 4: She's like, yeah, I'm nearly certain you have bronchitis and
- 5:00Speaker 4: you're still vaping like crazy. I'm like yeah, and she goes,
- 5:02Speaker 4: well the vaping. She ripped me a new one for sure.
- 5:05Speaker 4: Sure our action too, And she told me flat out
- 5:07Speaker 4: stop it, go home and put a nicotine patch on.
- 5:09Speaker 4: So look at my arm right, Look at this. I
- 5:12Speaker 4: have a nicoderm patch on right now. So this is
- 5:14Speaker 4: day two of the nicotine patch. She said that I'm
- 5:18Speaker 4: not going to just wake up and stop smoking. She
- 5:19Speaker 4: said that the patch will naturally make me want to
- 5:21Speaker 4: smoke less, which is definitely the case.
- 5:25Speaker 3: But I don't know. I think that.
- 5:27Speaker 4: Vaping is a lot worse than cigarettes. I think that
- 5:31Speaker 4: vaping you do them both. No, I don't smoke cigarettes.
- 5:34Speaker 4: I don't really smoked cigarettes. Was what you used to
- 5:37Speaker 4: I never regularly smoked cigarettes. I've recard of vaping, and
- 5:40Speaker 4: that's what she wants you to stop.
- 5:41Speaker 3: I've been vaping. I thought about it this.
- 5:43Speaker 4: I've been in this apartment for three years and I
- 5:45Speaker 4: first started vaping regularly.
- 5:47Speaker 3: When I moved to this apartment.
- 5:50Speaker 2: I vape, but dive vape marijuana, you know what I mean.
- 5:53Speaker 2: I don't smoke any nicotine or tobacco anymore. In fact,
- 5:57Speaker 2: the reason I don't do that anymore is because I
- 5:59Speaker 2: got hypnotized when he was telling me about this. Well
- 6:01Speaker 2: you know, you know Joel, he doesn't believe anything.
- 6:04Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I don't know.
- 6:06Speaker 2: It certainly helped me. I got hypnotized last July for
- 6:09Speaker 2: my birthday. I wanted to do it for my fortieth birthday,
- 6:11Speaker 2: and that night, poof gone. I don't have a single
- 6:14Speaker 2: thought or craving about a cigarette.
- 6:16Speaker 4: It's in this amazing Bob day. They waved a clock
- 6:18Speaker 4: in front of his face and it solved his problems.
- 6:20Speaker 4: He's hypnotized and he's good now. No, And I'll tell
- 6:23Speaker 4: you how I got hooked on vaping. When I lived
- 6:25Speaker 4: in Nazareth. My neighbor he.
- 6:27Speaker 3: Used to come over and we'd you know, sit around
- 6:29Speaker 3: and get high and smoke whatever.
- 6:30Speaker 4: But he always had a vape and like a nicotine vape,
- 6:33Speaker 4: and every time it came.
- 6:35Speaker 3: Over, I'd be like, Oh, what flavor you have this week? Oh, Cherry,
- 6:37Speaker 3: let me try it. It's a flavored. Next it's the flavor.
- 6:40Speaker 3: It's totally the flavors.
- 6:41Speaker 4: Right then I kind of found myself really looking forward
- 6:45Speaker 4: to my neighbor coming over so I could smoke his vape.
- 6:48Speaker 4: And then all of a sudden, I go and I
- 6:49Speaker 4: buy my own. So that's what it is. And here's
- 6:52Speaker 4: another reason why vaping is ten times worse than cigarettes. Dude,
- 6:55Speaker 4: I do this shit all day long, all day long,
- 6:58Speaker 4: Like I roll over in the middle, in the middle
- 7:00Speaker 4: of sleeping, in the middle of the night, I roll over,
- 7:02Speaker 4: grab it off my nightstand, smoke it, go back to bed,
- 7:05Speaker 4: like without even realizing it all day long at work.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Maybe I said that, Maybe I didn't.
- 7:10Speaker 1: You know what vake means for people that can't control
- 7:13Speaker 1: their emotions and can't control themselves.
- 7:15Speaker 3: I don't think.
- 7:15Speaker 2: I don't think the science is accurate about what you're
- 7:17Speaker 2: talking about, but it certainly matches up with the situation
- 7:20Speaker 2: with you all.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Listen, what are you doing it for?
- 7:23Speaker 1: Oh?
- 7:23Speaker 3: Do you have a pretty little pink one or you
- 7:24Speaker 3: have a little silver one? You? I mean, what do
- 7:26Speaker 3: you have?
- 7:27Speaker 1: No, do you go with the jerry or do you
- 7:29Speaker 1: go with the strawberry, or do the banana one day.
- 7:31Speaker 3: Listen.
- 7:31Speaker 4: All I know is that on the report cards growing
- 7:33Speaker 4: up in elementary school, there always used to be a
- 7:35Speaker 4: little thing there about self control, and I would always
- 7:37Speaker 4: get the nasty comments about self control.
- 7:39Speaker 3: And it's right, one hundred percent. I still as a
- 7:41Speaker 3: twenty brother, do you no, No, I'm an only child.
- 7:44Speaker 3: You're an only child. Dad might explain some of it.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Oh shut up, now you have nobody to say. Looking genius,
- 7:49Speaker 1: You're doing it wrong. What are you doing this for?
- 7:52Speaker 1: I was through it, I did it? What are you
- 7:53Speaker 1: doing You're you're an idiot?
- 7:54Speaker 3: Becker. Don't you love that?
- 7:55Speaker 4: We invite him as the very first guests of the
- 7:58Speaker 4: podcast and oh a.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Five minutes into it he's called me an idiot. You're
- 8:04Speaker 3: an idiot.
- 8:04Speaker 2: I'm just telling you you.
- 8:07Speaker 3: Can. You can beat the vape. I know the vape here.
- 8:10Speaker 1: You don't roll the vape. I know you don't even
- 8:12Speaker 1: cut it up. You don't have any fun with it.
- 8:14Speaker 1: You don't grow it, you don't you don't smell.
- 8:16Speaker 3: It, do anything.
- 8:17Speaker 4: You just asked me before this big ginormous rant here,
- 8:20Speaker 4: why do you smoke that? And I would ask you
- 8:22Speaker 4: when you smoke cigarettes, why did you smoke.
- 8:25Speaker 3: Cigarette because I was nervous. Okay, don't do something. Okay.
- 8:29Speaker 1: When I went to the doctor for the first time
- 8:31Speaker 1: and forty years, I told my said, listen, i've been
- 8:33Speaker 1: smoking for forty years. Everything and anything, whatever that happened, I've.
- 8:36Speaker 3: Been smoking, and I think I'm dying.
- 8:38Speaker 1: I don't know whether it is down there. I don't
- 8:39Speaker 1: know if I got cancer prostate thing. But I got
- 8:41Speaker 1: something large down here. And he goes, let's check it out.
- 8:44Speaker 3: And then he looked at.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Me and said, oh, that's a hernia. And I went, oh,
- 8:48Speaker 1: I'm not dying. No, you're not dying. It's a hernia.
- 8:51Speaker 1: We can take Oh, it's like a sports hernia. And
- 8:54Speaker 1: then I look at the athlete and then yeah, and
- 8:58Speaker 1: I said, I can just like a diamondomic, I could
- 8:59Speaker 1: call it. And then he looked at me and said, listen,
- 9:02Speaker 1: you need to go get tested. You need to go
- 9:04Speaker 1: get tested. I need to see your your glands and
- 9:06Speaker 1: your in your lungs. And he sent me over to
- 9:09Speaker 1: the hospital and told me to go through all this stuff.
- 9:11Speaker 1: You know what happened. I came back and I passed everything. Everything.
- 9:16Speaker 1: My glands were good, my thigh roid was good, everything
- 9:19Speaker 1: was good. My lungs were black, but your balls were fared,
- 9:22Speaker 1: but they were clear, but they were clear. Ran two
- 9:25Speaker 1: and a half backs wintering lights.
- 9:27Speaker 2: A day with no help, right, you didn't you didn't
- 9:29Speaker 2: have time like for as far as coting.
- 9:32Speaker 3: No, no, no no, he quit like the doctor told me.
- 9:35Speaker 3: The doctor told me.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Listen, listen, the doctor told me. I asked the doctor.
- 9:40Speaker 1: I said, listen. I'm I consider myself like a funny man,
- 9:43Speaker 1: a comedian. And I entertained a little bit.
- 9:45Speaker 2: I played a little guitar, I played a little golf.
- 9:50Speaker 2: Makes me so happy.
- 9:51Speaker 3: I consider myself funny. You are very funny. There I go.
- 9:56Speaker 3: But but was that the glung.
- 9:58Speaker 2: That's the wrong answer. Sound but the that's the wrong answer.
- 10:02Speaker 2: Side guy, I wouldn't even ask a question.
- 10:04Speaker 4: See what you said, I told the doctor, I consider
- 10:07Speaker 4: myself a funny guy.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Enter tatter, I told him. But he said, he said, okay,
- 10:14Speaker 1: he said you can hey. We Then he explained that.
- 10:20Speaker 2: I like that you kind of played him off with
- 10:22Speaker 2: the music, like it's the oscars or.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Something like that. Bob. You know, normally when you hear
- 10:27Speaker 3: the music, that's time we go to break. I was
- 10:31Speaker 3: gonna eventually we'll have commercials. Maybe should I deliver a commercial? No?
- 10:36Speaker 2: No, not, Yeah, you could sell us some commercials about that.
- 10:40Speaker 3: Hey, hey, hey.
- 10:41Speaker 1: The Blazed and Confused podcast is sponsored by Straws helping
- 10:46Speaker 1: you suck for years.
- 10:49Speaker 2: It is the Blaze and Confused podcast. It's a stoner
- 10:52Speaker 2: trivia podcast. And basically what happens is that Joe and
- 10:55Speaker 2: I have prepared or maybe we didn't prepare at all,
- 10:58Speaker 2: questions for each other. We're gonna have a guest on
- 11:00Speaker 2: to chi him in and basically there's no keeping score.
- 11:04Speaker 2: Who gets what correct does not matter. These are topic starters.
- 11:08Speaker 2: Bob our guest is going to chime in with his nonsense.
- 11:11Speaker 2: He knows a lot of things about a lot of things.
- 11:13Speaker 3: There's not too many people that know more than me.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Yeah, he's very smart, very smart smart, renowned smart guy
- 11:19Speaker 2: in around here.
- 11:21Speaker 3: Plays and confused. The game show. It's a game show.
- 11:25Speaker 3: All right, stop talking now, all right, I'm question number one. Wow,
- 11:31Speaker 3: this is intention, so I guess. So I'm gonna go first.
- 11:33Speaker 3: Are we doing four questions or five questions?
- 11:35Speaker 2: Four?
- 11:35Speaker 3: All right? Four? Four? Perfect? Oh? This is good, this
- 11:37Speaker 3: is good. This is good.
- 11:39Speaker 4: So I'm gonna ask four questions, and you're going to
- 11:41Speaker 4: ask your four questions.
- 11:42Speaker 3: I'm going to.
- 11:43Speaker 4: Start with a statistics question, my stats. What's the number
- 11:48Speaker 4: one toilet paper brand in the US? Who by sales? Now,
- 11:56Speaker 4: here's what I will tell you about the toilet paper.
- 12:00Speaker 4: What I will tell you the brand we're talking to brand?
- 12:02Speaker 3: Yes, you ply you ply three.
- 12:07Speaker 4: Here's the thing with the toilet paper. I'll admit I
- 12:10Speaker 4: cheap out with the TP Man and I should. Oh
- 12:12Speaker 4: my god, I get like the Giant brand toilet paper,
- 12:14Speaker 4: which is sandpaper, but it's the cheapest.
- 12:17Speaker 3: I don't care.
- 12:17Speaker 4: It's like, you know what, you're wiping your ass and
- 12:19Speaker 4: you're putting in the toilet. Why should you spend a
- 12:21Speaker 4: lot of money on that?
- 12:22Speaker 2: And that's the kind of stuff that breaks in a
- 12:24Speaker 2: single wipe, which it takes up.
- 12:26Speaker 3: Your whole cart. An't depends on how far you wrap it,
- 12:31Speaker 3: you know what I mean? If you wrap it around
- 12:32Speaker 3: three or four times, you know what I mean?
- 12:34Speaker 4: Okay, okay, anyway, now we're just talking about being wasteful.
- 12:39Speaker 3: No one, No one got that question right.
- 12:41Speaker 4: So the number one toilet paper brand by sales, you
- 12:43Speaker 4: give up starts with a C.
- 12:45Speaker 3: It's Charman charm arm, Yeah, charm. That's tissues though, right?
- 12:53Speaker 3: They do it all? Probably right, tissues I could have.
- 12:58Speaker 2: Hey, sometimes you're in a bind, you run out of
- 13:00Speaker 2: toilet paper.
- 13:01Speaker 3: I'm just saying, no, no, no no.
- 13:02Speaker 1: If you have Cleanus in your house, do you have
- 13:04Speaker 1: a box of Cleanus in your house?
- 13:06Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 13:06Speaker 2: Like tissues?
- 13:07Speaker 3: Do you of course a box of Kleenex?
- 13:09Speaker 2: I'm allergic to everything outside everything else? Right?
- 13:12Speaker 3: What do you see right here? What do you see right?
- 13:13Speaker 3: That's a that's a box. It's Kleenex.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Notice how they're ran by his computer too?
- 13:18Speaker 3: Question two?
- 13:20Speaker 4: All right, So this will be fun because I love
- 13:22Speaker 4: to ask Becker these very basic music questions that he
- 13:25Speaker 4: never gets right.
- 13:26Speaker 2: It sucks too, because it's about a genre that I
- 13:28Speaker 2: should know a lot about, but I don't.
- 13:30Speaker 4: Yeah, I'll give you hints about this before I even
- 13:33Speaker 4: give you the question.
- 13:34Speaker 2: All right, Cool.
- 13:36Speaker 4: We played this song on the radio about a billion times.
- 13:42Speaker 3: You've heard this song a billion times?
- 13:44Speaker 2: I like how that's the hint.
- 13:45Speaker 3: That is the hint. What's the question? The question is what?
- 13:49Speaker 4: Fleetwood Max song features a minute and a half outro
- 13:54Speaker 4: with the repeated bassline and the lyrics keep Us Together Bob,
- 13:59Speaker 4: don't answer the questions, stop talking, don't say anything, don't
- 14:04Speaker 4: I tell you.
- 14:05Speaker 3: Hold I want to get hold on.
- 14:07Speaker 4: Oh hints, uh, he's getting funk it up.
- 14:11Speaker 3: You can't do it.
- 14:13Speaker 2: This is basic, dude, hold on, Uh, I can't think
- 14:20Speaker 2: of it.
- 14:20Speaker 4: They literally sing the word that is the title of
- 14:23Speaker 4: the song before the line keep us Together, which is
- 14:26Speaker 4: the part of the question.
- 14:27Speaker 3: I'm gonna read it again?
- 14:29Speaker 4: What Fleetwood back song features a minute and a half
- 14:31Speaker 4: outro with the repeated bassline and the lyrics keep us together.
- 14:37Speaker 3: Do you know the answer from them? Yeah? I think
- 14:39Speaker 3: I help me out because I feel like a run shadows. No,
- 14:43Speaker 3: it's not keep us again? Running with the shadow.
- 14:47Speaker 4: Running with the shadows is part of the lyric, though,
- 14:49Speaker 4: I don't know if it's running with the shadows or
- 14:51Speaker 4: running in the shadows. But keep us together again?
- 14:57Speaker 2: Hold on, there's two different music's playing? Sorry, do it again?
- 15:01Speaker 3: But together? Oh oh oh oh, I haven't no, you
- 15:07Speaker 3: know he loft, he loft. You didn't know what it
- 15:11Speaker 3: is either. You were playing, you're the one who's playing.
- 15:15Speaker 3: You're losing somebody that's not playing. I'm gonna commentation right,
- 15:20Speaker 3: What is the freaking answer? The answer is the change
- 15:23Speaker 3: the che.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Together whatever. Yeah, I told you, Yeah, right, okay, you
- 15:32Speaker 2: you got your over two question number shut.
- 15:35Speaker 3: How's that astrag working out for it?
- 15:36Speaker 2: It's definitely a cup three.
- 15:39Speaker 3: Question three.
- 15:40Speaker 4: Here's a question I would never get right ever in
- 15:42Speaker 4: a million years. The category is middle school geometry.
- 15:48Speaker 3: Middle school geometry.
- 15:49Speaker 4: I skipped what do you call two angles that share
- 15:54Speaker 4: a common side in vertex but don't overlap?
- 15:59Speaker 3: Pro tract? Pro tractor.
- 16:01Speaker 4: Here's the thing though, honestly, I'm reading this question back
- 16:04Speaker 4: to myself now, and I'm thinking that this question really
- 16:07Speaker 4: is not technically geometry, because geometry is shapes. This is
- 16:10Speaker 4: just talking about a line. What do you call too?
- 16:13Speaker 4: It's angles? Angles? Isn't geometry? Geometry shapes?
- 16:16Speaker 3: Right?
- 16:17Speaker 2: Geometry is angles too?
- 16:18Speaker 1: Is?
- 16:18Speaker 3: It is? Like? Yeah? But is that stiff? I'm just
- 16:23Speaker 3: look at that. I don't even know what the fuck
- 16:24Speaker 3: geometry is, honestly. So here's the funny thing.
- 16:27Speaker 4: About taking geometry in high school in now middle school
- 16:29Speaker 4: in high school, you know, like you always have, like
- 16:31Speaker 4: the way you pick your classes.
- 16:33Speaker 3: Now, it's like the.
- 16:34Speaker 4: CP course, the college prep course is the on level course,
- 16:37Speaker 4: and then below that's like the general prep course, and
- 16:40Speaker 4: then on top of that there's like honors and advanced
- 16:43Speaker 4: placement and all that bullshit.
- 16:44Speaker 3: So I was always on like the college prep math.
- 16:46Speaker 4: And then when it came to geometry, my guidance counselors
- 16:49Speaker 4: in high school were.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Like, hey, you want to sit down for a minute.
- 16:55Speaker 3: So they pushed me down to like the general prep
- 16:58Speaker 3: biogeometry of all the general stuff.
- 17:01Speaker 1: You don't say there was no there was no there
- 17:03Speaker 1: was no advancement, no uh no plan.
- 17:06Speaker 3: Here's the thing, I'm sure there was. Oh no, no,
- 17:09Speaker 3: there definitely will no Listen.
- 17:10Speaker 1: I worked to take a taco and you have to
- 17:13Speaker 1: know I worked, you know how they had to do program.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Some kids went to you know, learn how to be
- 17:17Speaker 1: an electrician or a corner and then they went to
- 17:19Speaker 1: school in the afternoon.
- 17:20Speaker 3: I went to take a talk with the morning and
- 17:22Speaker 3: I prepared the food.
- 17:23Speaker 4: That's the same program that I used to work in
- 17:26Speaker 4: radio in seventeen when I was seventeen years old.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Yeah, and then we went to and and I had
- 17:30Speaker 1: no plans on going to college, none, none, whatsoever until
- 17:34Speaker 1: my dad checked out may he rest in vodka.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Wow, that was like a whole other conversation all right,
- 17:40Speaker 2: So let me give you the answer to this question,
- 17:42Speaker 2: because when every good question, when you hear the answer,
- 17:44Speaker 2: it's going to make sense. So the question was, what
- 17:47Speaker 2: do you call two angles that share a common side
- 17:49Speaker 2: in vertex but don't overlap.
- 17:50Speaker 3: The answer is adjacent their adjacent angle.
- 17:53Speaker 2: See, we learned a lot of other things on the
- 17:58Speaker 2: way to that question.
- 18:00Speaker 4: For twenty what this question? Next question is current events.
- 18:07Speaker 4: I'm good at that current events. Remember, Bob, I'm he's
- 18:11Speaker 4: the one that's answering a question, right, you know, raise
- 18:15Speaker 4: your hand when you want to talk, and I'll say.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Yes, reiterating that I haven't gotten any.
- 18:19Speaker 3: Right, it's a buzzer.
- 18:21Speaker 1: I should be able to chime in current events, but
- 18:23Speaker 1: it's really history.
- 18:24Speaker 3: Oh, that's it.
- 18:29Speaker 1: That's it right there, current events.
- 18:37Speaker 3: Oh man, let's try to ski.
- 18:40Speaker 4: Famous event in the American Revolution celebrated its two hundred
- 18:45Speaker 4: and fiftieth birthday this week.
- 18:50Speaker 3: The Pope and Pope, The Pope and the Pope. Check
- 18:53Speaker 3: out the pope. He wasn't two hundred and fifty years old. Situation.
- 18:59Speaker 3: I know what.
- 19:01Speaker 4: Famous event in the American Revolution celebrated its two hundred
- 19:05Speaker 4: and fiftieth birthday this week.
- 19:07Speaker 3: The American Revolution. Wasn't that a war? The American Revolution
- 19:12Speaker 3: wasn't a war? All right? So should I just give
- 19:14Speaker 3: you the answer?
- 19:14Speaker 4: You want to give up? You don't even want to
- 19:16Speaker 4: say anything. I have no idea. The answer is Paul
- 19:21Speaker 4: Revere's midnight Ride.
- 19:23Speaker 3: Oh you know what? I did hear about that? I
- 19:25Speaker 3: just didn't.
- 19:26Speaker 1: What the hell did he do that? Tell me what
- 19:28Speaker 1: it is? So tell me what do he accomplished?
- 19:30Speaker 2: He was letting people know thing. You know, he had
- 19:32Speaker 2: no one. I did a message to deliver The British
- 19:35Speaker 2: are coming right, Oh that's right.
- 19:37Speaker 4: Let me read what chat EPT has to say, all right,
- 19:40Speaker 4: because we love artificial intelligence only Yeah, we'll get your
- 19:44Speaker 4: opinion on that later, okaya job. Paul Revere's Midnight Ride
- 19:48Speaker 4: was a famous event during the American Revolution. On the
- 19:51Speaker 4: night of April eighteen, seventeen seventy five, Paul.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Seventy t five bar say it was like current events.
- 20:02Speaker 3: It celebrated his birthday. That's what made the current events.
- 20:06Speaker 3: I forgot it makes it a birthday. That doesn't make
- 20:08Speaker 3: it correct. What the fuck?
- 20:10Speaker 4: Paul Revere rode from Boston to Lexington to warn the
- 20:13Speaker 4: colonial militia that British troops were marching towards them, telling
- 20:17Speaker 4: everyone the British are coming, even though he likely didn't
- 20:21Speaker 4: use those exact words.
- 20:22Speaker 3: Isn't that interesting? So the history books told us all.
- 20:25Speaker 4: About his Oh he rode through the streets and he
- 20:28Speaker 4: said the British are coming, The British are coming. That's
- 20:30Speaker 4: that motherfucker's claim the fame. But yet this says he
- 20:32Speaker 4: didn't even though you likely didn't say those.
- 20:34Speaker 3: Exactly Ready, the British were already, and you know he's
- 20:37Speaker 3: going for Boston. Oh wait, election getting Zucky on a horse.
- 20:41Speaker 3: It was seventeen seventy five, Bob, I was gonna get
- 20:43Speaker 3: that fifteen hundred miles? What did he do?
- 20:47Speaker 1: Me time, Chitties, State of Britain. You're coming to pass
- 20:50Speaker 1: the word or something. Have somebody else fucking take the
- 20:52Speaker 1: horse to go?
- 20:53Speaker 3: Oh my god.
- 20:55Speaker 5: Trivia, man, it's like the universe asking us questions.
- 21:02Speaker 3: Yeah, confused podcast.
- 21:07Speaker 4: So that concludes round one of my questions. Now Becker's
- 21:10Speaker 4: going to ask me my question.
- 21:11Speaker 3: This is Traine question music, All right, question, next question,
- 21:19Speaker 3: Question number one.
- 21:21Speaker 2: I think I burned my cord, All right, music, Hey
- 21:29Speaker 2: do it again?
- 21:30Speaker 3: No you didn't.
- 21:31Speaker 2: I need the intense music.
- 21:33Speaker 4: Oh I thought you were going to ask me a
- 21:34Speaker 4: question like the category was music.
- 21:38Speaker 3: Oh man, I got excited there.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Oh no, I just wanted you to play the music
- 21:41Speaker 2: that we agreed upon.
- 21:43Speaker 1: That now that wasn't the music, that was.
- 21:46Speaker 3: The sound effect. I need you have to You have
- 21:49Speaker 3: to have this music when you're all right?
- 21:51Speaker 2: He understands.
- 21:52Speaker 3: Remember when I said, raise your hand when you want
- 21:54Speaker 3: to talk. Go back to that.
- 21:55Speaker 2: What's illegal to do with a moose in Alaska?
- 21:59Speaker 3: Fuck it? That's wrong, dude, don't even dad wrong. Make
- 22:07Speaker 3: yourself trying to sneak it behind him? Try that shoot
- 22:18Speaker 3: that might be it might be illegal to do that.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Not on this list, but it's probably on a different list.
- 22:25Speaker 2: What is illegal to do with a moose in Alaska?
- 22:28Speaker 2: Is it a ride it? B I said, fuck it?
- 22:33Speaker 2: Push it out of a plane?
- 22:34Speaker 3: Oh yeah, see feed it chocolate. You're at it. Feed
- 22:41Speaker 3: it chocolate. The answer that's going to answer. I'm laughing
- 22:45Speaker 3: because of the other one.
- 22:47Speaker 2: U d walk it on a leash? What can't you
- 22:51Speaker 2: do with a moose in Alaska?
- 22:53Speaker 3: All right?
- 22:54Speaker 4: I made me the choices, but without losing ride it.
- 22:57Speaker 2: These are push it out of a plane feeded chocolate.
- 23:02Speaker 3: Walk it on a leash. I want to say, walk
- 23:04Speaker 3: it on a LEAs No, that's wrong.
- 23:06Speaker 2: What is it wrong? You can't push it out of
- 23:08Speaker 2: a plane. Of course you can't push it out of
- 23:11Speaker 2: a plane because you can't push it.
- 23:12Speaker 3: Into the plane. I didn't push it out of a
- 23:15Speaker 3: plane if you can't get it in a plane. Boy,
- 23:16Speaker 3: you said my questions were stupid? What the fuck that was?
- 23:19Speaker 3: That was? That was the judge on questions after? Thank you?
- 23:23Speaker 2: That was?
- 23:23Speaker 3: That was jo was really stupid too? Question too?
- 23:29Speaker 2: What's the name of the dot over the letter I ship?
- 23:35Speaker 4: It starts with an ask? Oh, tittle tittle? It's see
- 23:41Speaker 4: speck or is it a dits? It's a tittle tittle? Yeah,
- 23:45Speaker 4: thank you very much. Just uh, I know we're not
- 23:47Speaker 4: keeping track here, but I'd like to point out that
- 23:49Speaker 4: I've been the first one to get a question correct.
- 23:51Speaker 2: Yeah, you're doing a lot better than I am.
- 23:52Speaker 3: This question needs to work. That kind of question. Was
- 23:56Speaker 3: that dot on the ie call? It's a fucking dot over?
- 23:59Speaker 3: There is what it is?
- 24:01Speaker 1: Who?
- 24:01Speaker 3: No one even roses auck tittle tittle the ideal tittle?
- 24:07Speaker 1: Make sure you dot your tittles got youries, cross your
- 24:11Speaker 1: t's and dot your tittles.
- 24:12Speaker 3: Got your tittles and cross your t's. Make sure your
- 24:14Speaker 3: shit's in life.
- 24:15Speaker 2: Cush in three, make sure your ships in line.
- 24:20Speaker 3: He's got one question, right, he did.
- 24:22Speaker 2: He's doing really really well.
- 24:23Speaker 3: I think he's got tittles.
- 24:25Speaker 2: Which, ancient stringed instrument considered a predecessor to the piano,
- 24:30Speaker 2: produces sound by plucking strings when pressed.
- 24:35Speaker 3: Bob, I'm answering the questions. Stop it. It's a harpsic
- 24:38Speaker 3: got it right, man, you're killing it. I was.
- 24:41Speaker 2: You're also a musician, but I love me a harpsichord, dude.
- 24:44Speaker 3: Harpsichord is a cool freaking instrument between a harp and
- 24:47Speaker 3: a harp.
- 24:47Speaker 4: So a piano, you know, a piano is technically a
- 24:50Speaker 4: percussion instrument because it's hammers inside that are hitting the strings. So,
- 24:55Speaker 4: but the difference is between a piano and a harp succhord,
- 24:57Speaker 4: a harps chord. Instead of hammering the strings, it's a
- 25:00Speaker 4: hook and it plucks the string, so it's a different sound.
- 25:02Speaker 3: You get that pluckiness. Oh okay, the pluckiness.
- 25:05Speaker 4: Pluckiness. Yeah, that's a word, and I just made it
- 25:09Speaker 4: up and I'm proud of it.
- 25:10Speaker 3: Question for twenty what.
- 25:15Speaker 2: Which brand is associated with the slogan think Different?
- 25:21Speaker 3: Uh? Oh, it's Apple. How do you this is true? Yeah,
- 25:27Speaker 3: but it's no one's current events. He knows. I knew that.
- 25:31Speaker 3: I've got that right, Jeez, I knew it was like
- 25:33Speaker 3: around everything that I own is an Apple product. How
- 25:36Speaker 3: do you think that I would not know that. I
- 25:37Speaker 3: just didn't know you were gonna.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Do that shit too much? Can I have the ask
- 25:42Speaker 1: you guys rely on that shit too much?
- 25:43Speaker 3: Oh? Here, here, here, here, I've been thinking Different since
- 25:46Speaker 3: seventy six. If you're lost, they probably are too.
- 25:51Speaker 5: They'll blazed and confused.
- 25:53Speaker 3: Podcast. Hey, I got a question. Go ahead.
- 25:55Speaker 1: I might have told you this already, but if you
- 25:57Speaker 1: haven't heard it. You have a scuba dive. No scuba dive.
- 26:00Speaker 3: You never you never went underneath the water with those
- 26:03Speaker 3: big tanks and all that.
- 26:04Speaker 2: No. I've done snorkeling, but not scuba diving.
- 26:06Speaker 3: But you've seen you you've seen them. Right. That creeps
- 26:09Speaker 3: me out.
- 26:09Speaker 1: Do you know do you know why they fall backwards
- 26:14Speaker 1: out of the boat into the water.
- 26:18Speaker 4: It's something with the weight of the tank, right, Do
- 26:20Speaker 4: you know why they fall backwards?
- 26:22Speaker 3: Out of the boat into the water.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Why because if they fell forward, they still be in
- 26:26Speaker 1: the fucking boat.
- 26:31Speaker 3: Wow, we felt for it too.
- 26:34Speaker 2: Damn it all right, and you got a point for that.
- 26:36Speaker 3: Give good high priority the stuff.
- 26:42Speaker 5: Backer and Joel are ubsessed right now. Music, movie, shows, snacks.
- 26:48Speaker 5: Whatever's blowing their little stoner minds this week?
- 26:51Speaker 4: All right, So it's not a movie music, it's not
- 26:54Speaker 4: a snack. It's I have to tell you this, se
- 26:56Speaker 4: we write that for that. If it's not gonna be
- 26:58Speaker 4: anything else, I'm sorry.
- 26:59Speaker 3: I'm sorry. That could be the line of a suck.
- 27:00Speaker 3: It's a movie or so a snack. Be quiet and
- 27:04Speaker 3: listen to my story.
- 27:07Speaker 4: I found myself the other day at our local mall
- 27:11Speaker 4: and talk about having to go to the bathroom really bad, right,
- 27:14Speaker 4: had to drop the kids off at the pool. Had
- 27:15Speaker 4: one too many coffees that day. You know, that's the
- 27:17Speaker 4: other thing about vaping too. All I do is vape
- 27:20Speaker 4: and smoke marijuana and you know, drink coffee.
- 27:23Speaker 3: It does a lot for your colon, you know what
- 27:24Speaker 3: I mean. You're constantly like clenched.
- 27:26Speaker 2: So I get to you, what what a great thing to
- 27:29Speaker 2: talk about.
- 27:31Speaker 3: I'm still trying to figure out the kids, he's dropping off.
- 27:35Speaker 2: I know that joke from nine hundred years ago, drop
- 27:38Speaker 2: the kids off at the pool. It means to you know,
- 27:39Speaker 2: go to the bathroom, the second one. You've never heard that,
- 27:43Speaker 2: the second version of bathroom. Anyway, go ahead, any of
- 27:48Speaker 2: your story. Anyway, He's been hung up out the entire
- 27:52Speaker 2: time we've been talking about mister.
- 27:54Speaker 4: I have every joke under my hat from fifty years
- 27:56Speaker 4: ago to don't your kids. I considered myself a funny guy,
- 28:02Speaker 4: comedian entertainer.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Now he love you. But anyway, I continue.
- 28:07Speaker 3: So I go to the mall. I have to drop
- 28:09Speaker 3: like a pair of jeans off.
- 28:10Speaker 1: And wait, wait, he's got dropped pants.
- 28:14Speaker 2: Off and the kids drop the kids off, he's got
- 28:16Speaker 2: drop by pants.
- 28:18Speaker 3: No, I bought the wrong size and I wanted to
- 28:20Speaker 3: return them.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Clarify, you need to say I bought the wrong size,
- 28:24Speaker 1: that I am returning some jeans instead of saying I gotta.
- 28:27Speaker 3: I'm bringing a pair of jeans to them all. Remember
- 28:28Speaker 3: when I said you should raise your hand when you
- 28:30Speaker 3: want to talk. He's a detail. I'd like to tell
- 28:33Speaker 3: you the story.
- 28:33Speaker 1: Okay, so you bought a pair, Yes, I hadn't work
- 28:36Speaker 1: that has nothing to do with the story.
- 28:38Speaker 3: You brought him back. Nobody gives a fuck why I
- 28:40Speaker 3: was at the mall. I was at the mall. Let
- 28:42Speaker 3: me get to my story.
- 28:43Speaker 4: Okay, so what happened was So what happened was, First off,
- 28:48Speaker 4: let me ask you this, what do you think about?
- 28:51Speaker 3: Uh? That song, Oh make Love to You? Yeah? Was
- 28:57Speaker 3: a boister Man? Yeah, I not a fan boys to him?
- 29:03Speaker 3: Right yeah?
- 29:03Speaker 2: Yeah yeah.
- 29:04Speaker 4: So I find myself in the Lehigh Valley mall. I
- 29:07Speaker 4: had to go to the bathroom again really bad. So
- 29:09Speaker 4: I go to the I go to the bathroom and
- 29:11Speaker 4: the first kids off to drop the kids off of
- 29:13Speaker 4: the bull.
- 29:13Speaker 3: Yes, So I get to the bathroom.
- 29:15Speaker 4: The first thing I noticed is that this awful fucking
- 29:17Speaker 4: song is blaring in this bathroom, right, oh make love
- 29:20Speaker 4: to you boom right, I know.
- 29:25Speaker 3: So I sit down in the stall.
- 29:26Speaker 4: I start doing my thing, and after I noticed that
- 29:29Speaker 4: the song sucks, I noticed that the dude in the
- 29:31Speaker 4: stall next to me is full blown, like losing it.
- 29:35Speaker 3: Homie was having a day over there. He was having
- 29:38Speaker 3: an awful day, one.
- 29:40Speaker 4: Of those ships that's like, oh man, this guy, keep
- 29:43Speaker 4: you should be at home doing this.
- 29:44Speaker 3: You know what I felt? Bad for him, but it was.
- 29:48Speaker 3: It was rather it was rather comical with him losing
- 29:53Speaker 3: it next door to me in the stall. And what
- 29:55Speaker 3: makes you say he was losing was loud.
- 29:57Speaker 4: It was so loud and with the song on at
- 29:59Speaker 4: the same I'm okay, So the action sound is what
- 30:02Speaker 4: you're talking about, Like it was like he was lifting
- 30:05Speaker 4: off that kind of thing.
- 30:06Speaker 3: Naturally. I took out my phone and I took a
- 30:10Speaker 3: voice memo. Oh no, come on, I'm going to play
- 30:13Speaker 3: for you now.
- 30:14Speaker 2: People might find this to be a setup.
- 30:16Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I did not know about.
- 30:18Speaker 2: This because I think stuff like this is foul.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Come on, no, God that you're paying attention to the
- 30:24Speaker 1: guy in the stall next year, hold on, no.
- 30:30Speaker 3: So confidently? Oh no, no, hey, it's Becker and I'm Joel.
- 30:37Speaker 3: We decided that you shouldn't hear that clip.
- 30:41Speaker 4: Yeah, I've had an intervention as we edit this episode,
- 30:43Speaker 4: and I regret recording this, poor man.
- 30:47Speaker 2: And do we want you to like us and not
- 30:49Speaker 2: hate us?
- 30:49Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 30:50Speaker 4: I don't know why I brought up this story anyway,
- 30:53Speaker 4: but I swear it happened to be nobody.
- 30:56Speaker 3: It's a shitty idea. Shitty idea. Yeah, we were better
- 31:00Speaker 3: I'm talking about Paul. You're listening to the Blazing Confused podcast.
- 31:04Speaker 2: I like how Bob's ending against Chris.
- 31:07Speaker 3: Is it over?
- 31:08Speaker 2: It's probably over?
- 31:09Speaker 3: Right? Is there anything else we got to talk about?
- 31:11Speaker 3: What else do I have? I? I have this thing.
- 31:14Speaker 5: Welcome to sparka debate where Becker and Joel turn one topic.
- 31:18Speaker 5: You're doing all out, puff puff, pass off and see
- 31:22Speaker 5: who burns out first.
- 31:24Speaker 3: So, movies, movies, movies, movies. Why should guys talk about movies?
- 31:27Speaker 2: I want to talk about this thing that I saw
- 31:29Speaker 2: on the internet. This guy was in court suing a
- 31:32Speaker 2: radio station in California. They did a contest that it
- 31:36Speaker 2: was like, if you put our call letters on your forehead,
- 31:38Speaker 2: if you tattoo them on your forehead, get two hundred
- 31:42Speaker 2: and fifty thousand dollars, right, And they said teasing that
- 31:46Speaker 2: this this you know, promotion. They were like, hey, go
- 31:49Speaker 2: to the website, click on the link for all the details.
- 31:53Speaker 3: Right.
- 31:53Speaker 2: This guy was so excited he was like, I'm just
- 31:56Speaker 2: gonna go do it, get this money, you know. So
- 31:59Speaker 2: he went and got the call letters put on his
- 32:01Speaker 2: freaking forehead. Then found out later it was an April
- 32:04Speaker 2: Fool's joke. So he was suing them for five hundred
- 32:08Speaker 2: thousand dollars. Wow, to cover the cost of the removal
- 32:12Speaker 2: surgery and everything.
- 32:13Speaker 3: Is this was way this was a radio station. Yeah,
- 32:16Speaker 3: get his money?
- 32:17Speaker 2: Yeah no, he got, well he got some of the money.
- 32:19Speaker 2: Who owns that radio station, I forget.
- 32:22Speaker 4: Probably some small company probably, Yeah, it just like think
- 32:25Speaker 4: about that they used.
- 32:26Speaker 3: To be around, I know.
- 32:27Speaker 4: But like no modern radio companies legal team would ever
- 32:31Speaker 4: let a contest like that fly anymore, or even like
- 32:33Speaker 4: a post what what you're saying? This was like a
- 32:35Speaker 4: post on social media wasn't.
- 32:37Speaker 2: Even count And I think it was like an on
- 32:39Speaker 2: air promotion like I did it in the morning. But
- 32:41Speaker 2: it was just a joke, you know that The idea
- 32:43Speaker 2: was is that the listeners had to go to the
- 32:45Speaker 2: website first click on this link and they would have
- 32:47Speaker 2: known right away that it was an April Fool's joke,
- 32:49Speaker 2: or they didn't.
- 32:51Speaker 4: This guy probably was scrolling on his news feed or
- 32:54Speaker 4: something or like you know, didn't click anything, but just
- 32:56Speaker 4: read like, oh, if you do this.
- 32:58Speaker 3: I think it has heard it on the radio.
- 33:00Speaker 2: Like he was just like you heard it, and he
- 33:01Speaker 2: was like I'm gonna go do it, you know, to
- 33:03Speaker 2: try to get life changing money.
- 33:04Speaker 3: You know, two hundred and fifty thousand. Take that real quick.
- 33:06Speaker 3: I'm gonna give you.
- 33:07Speaker 2: Well, the point is, would you get a tattoo on
- 33:09Speaker 2: your forehead for two hundred and fifty thousand dollars?
- 33:11Speaker 3: No?
- 33:11Speaker 1: No, And it seems to me like the radio station
- 33:14Speaker 1: wouldnt even let that happen because if you even went
- 33:16Speaker 1: and started say, you came to me to get a
- 33:17Speaker 1: tattoo and I did it wrong, and all of a sudden,
- 33:20Speaker 1: your whole head started falling apart, you know what I mean.
- 33:22Speaker 1: And you're gonna ssume me for malpractice. The radio station pays.
- 33:25Speaker 3: For it all. So get this. This is a pretty
- 33:29Speaker 3: good topic. I'm gonna tell you what happened to me.
- 33:31Speaker 3: Ok So, now the past few years I've been going this.
- 33:33Speaker 2: It's got very serious.
- 33:35Speaker 3: Socially makes sense. I'm trying to teach you something.
- 33:37Speaker 1: For the past three years, three or four years, I'm single.
- 33:41Speaker 1: I don't have no dependence. I got no extra money
- 33:44Speaker 1: coming in. I spend everything when I get it, no investments, nothing.
- 33:47Speaker 1: So when tax time comes around, what.
- 33:49Speaker 3: Do I do?
- 33:50Speaker 1: I fill out the short form I put in my money.
- 33:53Speaker 1: How much they took out if flying fourteen is bigger
- 33:55Speaker 1: than thirteen, then I get a refund. Happened three or
- 33:58Speaker 1: four straight years now. I've been doing it, and I
- 34:00Speaker 1: went to the online tax thing. I'm not going to
- 34:02Speaker 1: tell you who it was.
- 34:04Speaker 4: I went to the online tax thing.
- 34:06Speaker 2: I'm a big one.
- 34:08Speaker 3: So now sure.
- 34:09Speaker 1: Now I'm on there and I'm doing it, and i'm
- 34:10Speaker 1: doing it in BAM. I'm getting five hundred some dollars back,
- 34:13Speaker 1: not a lot, but I'm saying, okay, Direct Deposit Boom.
- 34:17Speaker 1: It goes in done. Then they do the state done figure.
- 34:20Speaker 3: This is pretty easy. Last year, same thing, same thing.
- 34:24Speaker 1: Not making a lot of money, right because I don't
- 34:26Speaker 1: make a lot of money, just like crime AM doesn't pay.
- 34:29Speaker 1: And I'm sitting there and I'm going, okay, I'm going
- 34:31Speaker 1: through it again. This time, I don't get as much
- 34:33Speaker 1: money back, so it's okay. I did it anyway. Direct
- 34:36Speaker 1: Deposit Boom. This year comes around and I go online.
- 34:40Speaker 1: I wait till last minute, but I'm on the line
- 34:42Speaker 1: on the April fifteenth or.
- 34:43Speaker 3: Whatever it is. Because when I went on the first time.
- 34:45Speaker 1: It's only told me I'm only getting like one hundred
- 34:47Speaker 1: ninety one dollars back.
- 34:49Speaker 3: I Remember, how am I only get one hundred ninety
- 34:50Speaker 3: one dollars back?
- 34:51Speaker 1: I used to get back thousands? What the hell did
- 34:53Speaker 1: I do wrong? And I'm trying to figure out what
- 34:55Speaker 1: the heck I did wrong? And then you know what,
- 34:56Speaker 1: I said, to hell with it. And then I went
- 34:58Speaker 1: back on the fifteenth to try it again and sure
- 35:00Speaker 1: up and give the same numbers, one hundred and ninety
- 35:02Speaker 1: one dollars. So when I was done pitching at it,
- 35:04Speaker 1: I said, Okay, let's file the thing. They send it
- 35:06Speaker 1: to the government. The government says I'm checking noah blah,
- 35:09Speaker 1: and they'm ready to go, and it says, would you
- 35:11Speaker 1: let your debit card instead? And I'm thinking, wow, okay,
- 35:16Speaker 1: get a debit card. No, just seventy one hundred and
- 35:19Speaker 1: ninety one dollars on the debit card. So I cut
- 35:21Speaker 1: debit card. And next thing you know, I'm getting emails
- 35:25Speaker 1: start buying it from green dot Bank telling me my
- 35:28Speaker 1: account needs to be set up. I don't want a
- 35:29Speaker 1: fucking account. I don't want an account. I said, where's
- 35:33Speaker 1: my debit card? And then I got another email, your
- 35:35Speaker 1: card has been printed. I'm going, sweet, my car's been printed. Great,
- 35:40Speaker 1: maybe this.
- 35:40Speaker 3: Is gonna happen. Maybe I did the right thing.
- 35:42Speaker 1: So the next couple of days go by, it that
- 35:44Speaker 1: fucking comes in the mail. I go get the card.
- 35:46Speaker 1: The card comes out. There's the card. Activate your card,
- 35:49Speaker 1: and I'm actuvating the card. Boom boom, boom ba boom
- 35:51Speaker 1: and activating the card. And then I hit to check balance,
- 35:54Speaker 1: hit one, and I hit one. Unfortunately there's no balance.
- 35:57Speaker 1: I'm gonna what to fucking talking about. There's no ballance?
- 36:00Speaker 1: What did you make an account? You gotta set up
- 36:02Speaker 1: an account. I don't want an account. Where's my prepaid
- 36:05Speaker 1: debit card? Where's the Ziper card? They tricked me? They
- 36:09Speaker 1: tricked me, those bastards, they tricked me. And now it
- 36:12Speaker 1: should tell me that the account.
- 36:14Speaker 3: Is my account.
- 36:15Speaker 1: And I know, but you got to talk to somebody
- 36:17Speaker 1: and wherever they are to take you. So fast, I said, listen,
- 36:20Speaker 1: you're talking way too fast. You're talking way too fast.
- 36:24Speaker 1: So now waiting for my debit card to commit. And
- 36:26Speaker 1: I got the debit card, but now I gotta wait
- 36:27Speaker 1: for the government to put the money into debit cards
- 36:29Speaker 1: and then they're gonna start dugging me.
- 36:30Speaker 3: Seven point nine per ten entrants.
- 36:33Speaker 1: How do you try one an account, and you know what,
- 36:35Speaker 1: it probably ruined my fucking credit. They got no money,
- 36:39Speaker 1: holy want it was a fucking prepaid debit card. Why
- 36:41Speaker 1: did they give me the debit card? My oil card?
- 36:44Speaker 1: And now I'm loll excited and I still get demos.
- 36:46Speaker 1: You need to finish.
- 36:47Speaker 3: Setting up your account. I don't want an account, bastards.
- 36:51Speaker 3: All right, well, so listen, I wish you luck in
- 36:54Speaker 3: your adventure. I don't know what you're gonna make them.
