- 0:27Speaker 1: missed an episode. Hello and welcome to this episode of
- 0:30Speaker 1: Spunky Spirit. I am Psychic Medium, Carry mugs, and today
- 0:34Speaker 1: we are going to talk about grieving through Christmas. I
- 0:38Speaker 1: wasn't gonna do grieving through the holidays, but Thanksgivings already passed,
- 0:41Speaker 1: and I kind of feel like I do this every year,
- 0:44Speaker 1: but honestly, I need to. It's part of what I do.
- 0:50Speaker 1: It's part of my job. And during the holiday season
- 0:54Speaker 1: or during Christmas, is one of the hardest times to
- 0:57Speaker 1: get past the grief and the loss, and especially it's
- 1:00Speaker 1: I was gonna say especially during the first one, but honestly,
- 1:03Speaker 1: it doesn't get easier. It's just every single Christmas. My
- 1:07Speaker 1: dad passed over twenty years ago, and I still Christmas
- 1:11Speaker 1: time because he loved Christmas. He loved it, and so
- 1:16Speaker 1: Christmas is hard because that's when all the memories are there.
- 1:19Speaker 1: That's when I mean, you have other memories besides Christmas,
- 1:23Speaker 1: but that's when families get together. That's when loved ones
- 1:26Speaker 1: get together and go over you know, just do lots
- 1:30Speaker 1: of family stuff. And Christmas can be hard when you're grieving.
- 1:34Speaker 1: It doesn't feel the same. It feels like it's lost
- 1:37Speaker 1: its magic. It's it feels like it's lost. It's you know,
- 1:41Speaker 1: just it's the luster of Christmas. And so I have done,
- 1:46Speaker 1: you know, Christmas episodes in the past where I have
- 1:48Speaker 1: talked about my dad coming in and helping you with
- 1:52Speaker 1: my Christmas lights in spirit because I couldn't get my
- 1:55Speaker 1: Christmas lights to work on my birthday and I said,
- 1:57Speaker 1: if you want to do something for me for my
- 1:58Speaker 1: birthday and make my Christmas light, it's work. And the
- 2:00Speaker 1: next day they did, and so there still can be
- 2:04Speaker 1: the magic. But when we're in grief so much and
- 2:07Speaker 1: we miss them so much, it's hard to find that.
- 2:10Speaker 1: It's hard, and it's and you still want to keep
- 2:13Speaker 1: going for other people. You want to stay strong for
- 2:15Speaker 1: others when inside you feel like everything is crumbling and
- 2:19Speaker 1: everything is so hard. So I want mostly for you
- 2:24Speaker 1: to know that you're not alone. There's a lot of
- 2:27Speaker 1: people out there that feel the same way, and we
- 2:30Speaker 1: kind of bypass grief off as a culture. We act
- 2:33Speaker 1: like it's something that you need to get over eventually,
- 2:36Speaker 1: and reality, it's something you never will get over. When
- 2:40Speaker 1: you lose a loved when you lose a piece of
- 2:43Speaker 1: who you are, any part of your family, you lose
- 2:47Speaker 1: a piece of you because because that's who we are, right,
- 2:51Speaker 1: we're connected. And when we lose someone we love very
- 2:56Speaker 1: much or deeply, we lose we feel like we lose
- 3:00Speaker 1: that connection. In a reality we don't, but when we're
- 3:03Speaker 1: in grief, we can feel that way. So I want
- 3:07Speaker 1: you to make sure that you give yourself some grace
- 3:09Speaker 1: and you know, do what you want to do. If
- 3:14Speaker 1: you don't want to go to family functions, or if
- 3:17Speaker 1: you want to you know, sit this one out, or
- 3:20Speaker 1: if you you know, I have a lot of a
- 3:23Speaker 1: lot of clients who are like, well, I I can't
- 3:26Speaker 1: put up the Christmas tree. They don't want to put
- 3:28Speaker 1: up the Christmas tree because in the year's past, it
- 3:31Speaker 1: just reminds them too much of their loved one. Right,
- 3:34Speaker 1: So if you can't, if you can't put up a
- 3:37Speaker 1: Christmas tree, find maybe do something different, maybe do something
- 3:43Speaker 1: like put up a different Christmas tree or a smaller tree,
- 3:45Speaker 1: or or maybe go on a trip this year or
- 3:49Speaker 1: the first year, or maybe do something that's completely different.
- 3:53Speaker 1: I have this is part of my busiest season and
- 3:58Speaker 1: during my mediumship is it's because the holidays. And I
- 4:02Speaker 1: also too will gift or do free readings for people
- 4:07Speaker 1: who've lost have had recent losses during the holidays too,
- 4:11Speaker 1: because it's just such a hard thing to get through
- 4:15Speaker 1: and I don't want to be on here and pretend
- 4:17Speaker 1: like it's, oh, get over it, and they're really with you,
- 4:20Speaker 1: and you can just feel their spirit and even though
- 4:23Speaker 1: those are not the get over apart, but all of
- 4:25Speaker 1: those stuff, all of that stuff is true. They really
- 4:27Speaker 1: are with you still, and they really are around, and
- 4:31Speaker 1: they really do love you, and you can ask them
- 4:35Speaker 1: to show you signs. But at the same time, it
- 4:38Speaker 1: just doesn't make it okay. Still, It doesn't make it
- 4:42Speaker 1: all better like I used to think or hope that
- 4:45Speaker 1: my readings would be like, Okay, everything's all better now,
- 4:48Speaker 1: and it's just it's not like that. You still, I
- 4:51Speaker 1: mean you have that. All readings really do is give
- 4:54Speaker 1: you that glimmer of hope that they're still with you
- 4:56Speaker 1: and give you that evidence that they're still with you
- 4:58Speaker 1: well as you're doing certain throughout your day. But when
- 5:02Speaker 1: you go into the holiday season and it's all about
- 5:07Speaker 1: family and gatherings and love and everyone's happy and you
- 5:12Speaker 1: miss that part of you, it's so so extremely difficult.
- 5:17Speaker 1: And so I want you to give yourself some grace here.
- 5:21Speaker 1: And you know, there's different things that you can do
- 5:26Speaker 1: through the holiday season if you want to feel close
- 5:28Speaker 1: to them, but sometimes they might be just way too hard.
- 5:31Speaker 1: And so if putting up a Christmas tree is too
- 5:34Speaker 1: hard for you because they were there last time you
- 5:37Speaker 1: did it, or they always helped you, or they did
- 5:39Speaker 1: this special thing, then don't do it. Do something different.
- 5:43Speaker 1: If it's too much for you or too hard for you,
- 5:45Speaker 1: They're not going to be mad. But if you want
- 5:48Speaker 1: to feel part of them and you want to feel
- 5:50Speaker 1: them around, then do do that Christmas tree thing. Just
- 5:54Speaker 1: really feel how you're feeling, really feel how you're going
- 5:58Speaker 1: to navigate it, and know that there's no right or
- 6:01Speaker 1: wrong way to do it. There's no right or wrong
- 6:05Speaker 1: way to grieve. Everybody does it differently. And if you
- 6:08Speaker 1: want to put all their clothes on the bed and
- 6:11Speaker 1: jump on the bed, and just then do that. And
- 6:15Speaker 1: if you want to put up their Christmas tree, their
- 6:16Speaker 1: favorite Christmas tree, and play their favorite Christmas music, then
- 6:20Speaker 1: do that. If that's too hard for you, then don't
- 6:23Speaker 1: do it. Don't if you're going to break down a cry.
- 6:26Speaker 1: And I know people who can't even listen to music
- 6:29Speaker 1: for the first couple months after a passing just because
- 6:34Speaker 1: the songs will just have this big, huge effect on them.
- 6:39Speaker 1: And grief is no joke. Grief is a brutal and
- 6:43Speaker 1: it has it shows no mercy. And so if you
- 6:48Speaker 1: are at a point that it's hard for you to
- 6:51Speaker 1: deal with it this holidays season, if you have to
- 6:54Speaker 1: seek help, if you need to seek out professional help
- 6:59Speaker 1: to help you get through that, or if you need
- 7:01Speaker 1: to reach out to a friend who has the capacity
- 7:04Speaker 1: to hold that to hold that space for you. And
- 7:06Speaker 1: what I mean by hold that space is they allow
- 7:09Speaker 1: you to grieve. They don't say things like at least
- 7:13Speaker 1: or at least this happened, or at least you got
- 7:17Speaker 1: to do this, or at least in fact, if you
- 7:21Speaker 1: know of a grieving person this holiday season, do not
- 7:24Speaker 1: say anything that begins with at least it's the hardest thing.
- 7:30Speaker 1: At least what at least it just makes no sense
- 7:33Speaker 1: to the person grieving, It makes no sense in their brain.
- 7:36Speaker 1: And so and just be careful about the things that
- 7:39Speaker 1: you do say to people who A lot of people,
- 7:43Speaker 1: you know, kind of vibe they kind of not talk
- 7:46Speaker 1: about the person, when in reality, when you lose somebody,
- 7:49Speaker 1: you kind of want to talk about that person. You
- 7:51Speaker 1: want to remember them and have their memory. And to
- 7:53Speaker 1: do that, to keep them alive, is to talk about them,
- 7:55Speaker 1: talk about them a lot. And I did this in
- 7:57Speaker 1: the beginning, not the beginning, but when you know, before
- 8:00Speaker 1: I would do readings before I knew about you know,
- 8:03Speaker 1: how grief is it, how intense grief is. When somebody
- 8:07Speaker 1: would lose somebody, you would kind of like it would
- 8:09Speaker 1: be the elephant in the room, right like you wouldn't
- 8:11Speaker 1: really talk about it or you wouldn't bring it up,
- 8:13Speaker 1: when in reality, sometimes that's all they want. They just
- 8:17Speaker 1: want to remember that person and they want to talk
- 8:19Speaker 1: about them like the person hasn't passed. And so, you know,
- 8:25Speaker 1: and if you're grieving, also give other people some grace too,
- 8:29Speaker 1: because they don't know they don't know the pain you're
- 8:32Speaker 1: feeling and the suffering that you're feeling, and what you're
- 8:36Speaker 1: feeling is so give them a little bit of grace.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Know that they mean well, but you know, don't say
- 8:42Speaker 1: things like you know they were. Just just be It's
- 8:48Speaker 1: so hard because because there's really nothing you can say
- 8:52Speaker 1: to make it better, right, there's nothing you can say,
- 8:54Speaker 1: So don't try and make it better by saying something.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Just know that their love that person loved them so
- 9:02Speaker 1: much and it's okay to talk about them most of
- 9:04Speaker 1: the time. That they want to remember them because they
- 9:06Speaker 1: love them so much and they don't want them to
- 9:09Speaker 1: be forgotten. And that's another thing too that you can
- 9:11Speaker 1: do this holiday season if it's not too painful. You
- 9:14Speaker 1: can sing the songs that they loved. You can do
- 9:17Speaker 1: the things that they loved that you can you can
- 9:21Speaker 1: do you know, the memories that you have. You can
- 9:24Speaker 1: make a holiday memory book and write down all the
- 9:26Speaker 1: memories that you have of that person in each holiday.
- 9:30Speaker 1: I have a family that writes letters to and this
- 9:34Speaker 1: is hard too write because they write letters to their
- 9:38Speaker 1: past loved one every Christmas. They write letters, and for
- 9:42Speaker 1: some of them it's very, very very therapeutic to write
- 9:45Speaker 1: these letters to their past loved one at Christmas, and
- 9:47Speaker 1: for some of them it's too hard and they hate
- 9:49Speaker 1: it and they can't do it. So you do what
- 9:52Speaker 1: you are capable of. And there is no right or wrong.
- 9:55Speaker 1: If you are capable to write a letter to your
- 9:58Speaker 1: loved one at Christmas time, do it. If you're not,
- 10:01Speaker 1: then don't it. Don't feel guilty about it. Everybody grieves differently,
- 10:05Speaker 1: everybody does everything differently. So if you just want to
- 10:11Speaker 1: sit and cry on Christmas, then you can do that.
- 10:18Speaker 1: And if you don't want to sit and cry, do
- 10:19Speaker 1: you want to get out and you want to keep
- 10:21Speaker 1: busy and you want to be around family, then do that.
- 10:24Speaker 1: You get to do what you want. There is no
- 10:26Speaker 1: rules about grieving. The most thing that I want you
- 10:29Speaker 1: to know or let you know if you're grieving somebody
- 10:32Speaker 1: this holiday season is give yourself some fricking grace. There's
- 10:37Speaker 1: no hambook on how to do this. There's no right
- 10:40Speaker 1: or wrong way on how to do this. And it's okay.
- 10:43Speaker 1: It's okay if you cry, it's okay. For in one
- 10:45Speaker 1: minute you can be happier, You can be so happy
- 10:49Speaker 1: and feel that person next to you or feel that
- 10:51Speaker 1: person in spirit, and the next minute to be totally
- 10:54Speaker 1: breaking down a crying, because that's what grief does. It's
- 10:56Speaker 1: like the ocean, right You're standing in a calm, cool
- 10:59Speaker 1: ocean and you kind of like can feel the presence
- 11:02Speaker 1: and then all of a sudden, the wave just comes
- 11:04Speaker 1: up and knocks you flat down. And that's what grief does.
- 11:07Speaker 1: It can be in a fleeting moment. It can be
- 11:09Speaker 1: you can be totally living in normal, having a healthy day,
- 11:13Speaker 1: and all of a sudden, a certain song comes on
- 11:15Speaker 1: and you are on the floor in the fetal position,
- 11:19Speaker 1: and that's just how grief is. And when you you know,
- 11:24Speaker 1: it's hard to see everybody so happy and so you
- 11:27Speaker 1: know during the holiday season, so magical, so loving, so great,
- 11:31Speaker 1: and the biggest part of you is gone, or a
- 11:34Speaker 1: major part of you is gone, and you don't understand
- 11:37Speaker 1: that happiness anymore. You don't just know that that's okay.
- 11:41Speaker 1: And I would say, you know, give it time, but
- 11:44Speaker 1: even time sometimes you know, it's been over so many
- 11:47Speaker 1: years that my dad's passed, and Christmas is hard because
- 11:50Speaker 1: he loved Christmas so much and so did my grandma,
- 11:53Speaker 1: and so I just want you to give yourself some
- 11:56Speaker 1: freaking grace on this and know that you are not alone,
- 12:01Speaker 1: and mostly to do the things that if you want
- 12:06Speaker 1: to feel close to them, do the things that they
- 12:08Speaker 1: love doing. Do the things if you want to feel
- 12:10Speaker 1: close to them, you know, do you know, adopt a
- 12:15Speaker 1: family in their honor or do things in their honor,
- 12:21Speaker 1: or do because if they can't. I have a client
- 12:23Speaker 1: that says, if not with you, then for you. And
- 12:26Speaker 1: so if you can't do things with them, do things
- 12:29Speaker 1: for them. If you're emotionally ready to do that, do
- 12:33Speaker 1: things for them, do things in their honor, do things
- 12:36Speaker 1: for other people in their honor. And the holidays are
- 12:39Speaker 1: a great time to do that. If you're up for
- 12:42Speaker 1: giving service or you're up for doing that. Sometimes you're not.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Sometimes you can barely get out of bed, and that's
- 12:48Speaker 1: okay too. So just really feel how you're feeling and
- 12:52Speaker 1: kind of feel how your emotions are and do what's
- 12:55Speaker 1: right for you. And if that's giving to others and
- 12:59Speaker 1: doing all that stuff, then do it. But if that's
- 13:02Speaker 1: just like laying in bed Christmas Day and crying, do
- 13:06Speaker 1: that too. The one thing I do want to is
- 13:10Speaker 1: pain is pain. Pain is painful and painful. Pain is
- 13:14Speaker 1: so painful, and we've all dealt with pain, right, Pain
- 13:18Speaker 1: is it's cruciating, and the loss of someone can be
- 13:21Speaker 1: so excruciating. But don't choose to suffer. Okay, there's a difference.
- 13:28Speaker 1: Pain is hard, and pain is hard to get through
- 13:31Speaker 1: and you feel it in the deep depth of your bones.
- 13:35Speaker 1: But when you choose to suffer, that's different. And your
- 13:39Speaker 1: loved ones would not want you to choose to suffer.
- 13:42Speaker 1: So if you're choosing to not get better or try
- 13:47Speaker 1: and get and that's hard too because there's no time
- 13:51Speaker 1: limit on that. But you just have to know that
- 13:54Speaker 1: your loved ones don't want you to suffer. They don't
- 13:58Speaker 1: want you to sit in the pain. They know it's painful,
- 14:02Speaker 1: but they don't want you to choose to suffer. So
- 14:05Speaker 1: if this Christmas, it's okay. If you grieve, it's okay
- 14:11Speaker 1: if you lay in bed and cry. But if you
- 14:14Speaker 1: find yourself doing this to the point where you're not
- 14:18Speaker 1: living your life, then you need to reevaluate this or
- 14:22Speaker 1: it's time to get professional help and try and help
- 14:24Speaker 1: get through it, because your loved ones feeling the pain
- 14:29Speaker 1: is completely and letting it process and letting it move
- 14:33Speaker 1: through you is one thing, but choosing to sit in
- 14:37Speaker 1: the suffer and choosing to suffer and choosing to be
- 14:41Speaker 1: the victim is a whole nother ballgame. Okay, And they're
- 14:45Speaker 1: there and don't It doesn't mean that if you're choosing
- 14:47Speaker 1: to lay in bed and cry, you're choosing to be
- 14:49Speaker 1: a victim. You feel the pain and you process that.
- 14:52Speaker 1: But if you use this to create more suffering, then
- 15:01Speaker 1: try and use it to create more something better. And
- 15:06Speaker 1: if that's just even giving service to somebody else in
- 15:10Speaker 1: their honor or trying to and somehow make something look better,
- 15:16Speaker 1: I don't even know what I'm trying to say, because
- 15:18Speaker 1: grief is pretty I just want you to give yourself
- 15:21Speaker 1: some grace and love yourself regardless of how you're taking this,
- 15:24Speaker 1: but also too or how you're dealing with this grief,
- 15:28Speaker 1: but also to look and see if it's affecting the
- 15:32Speaker 1: way you live and affecting if you don't feel like
- 15:35Speaker 1: there's any type of improvement within a few years at least,
- 15:44Speaker 1: and you're always trying to stay in the suffering zone,
- 15:47Speaker 1: then maybe kind of look at that, because that's not
- 15:49Speaker 1: what your loved one would want. Your loved one wants to.
- 15:52Speaker 1: On the other side, your loved one wants to be
- 15:54Speaker 1: with you. Your loved one is with you. So if
- 15:56Speaker 1: anybody else ever out there saying, oh, they're too busy,
- 15:58Speaker 1: on the other side, that is they're with you, especially
- 16:02Speaker 1: during the holidays, especially during the graduations, especially during all
- 16:07Speaker 1: the things, because they're not in a body anymore. So
- 16:09Speaker 1: they can be ten percent with you and ten percent
- 16:11Speaker 1: doing something else, whatever they're called to do on the
- 16:14Speaker 1: other side. But just know they're with you, especially in
- 16:19Speaker 1: the times when you're in the pain and in the suffering.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Right they want you to They want to help so
- 16:25Speaker 1: badly to get out of that, and so they want
- 16:28Speaker 1: they want to be with you. And so if you
- 16:31Speaker 1: need to ask for signs, ask for dimes, ask for pennies,
- 16:34Speaker 1: ask for birds or feathers or butterflies, ask for something
- 16:38Speaker 1: simple right at first. If you need a sign and
- 16:41Speaker 1: give them time, they're not going to do it in
- 16:43Speaker 1: the next hour. Give them time. And if you're just
- 16:46Speaker 1: saying if you just say, give me a sign, that's
- 16:48Speaker 1: not going to work either, because they could be giving
- 16:50Speaker 1: you signs that you're not and they could be dropping
- 16:52Speaker 1: pennies everywhere and you're just not seeing the pennies. So
- 16:55Speaker 1: be specific and know that they need time. They need
- 16:59Speaker 1: time to divinely that for you, right so, so just
- 17:03Speaker 1: know if this is your first Christmas without your left
- 17:06Speaker 1: one or if it's your twentieth one, it's never They
- 17:09Speaker 1: do get easier, but they don't ever go away. And
- 17:15Speaker 1: by easier, I just mean that the pain isn't as strong,
- 17:18Speaker 1: right like, But there'll still be moments. There'll be moments
- 17:21Speaker 1: I'll be doing something and I'll feel my grandma's presence
- 17:24Speaker 1: or ill feel my dad's and I'll be like ough
- 17:27Speaker 1: and that pain will show up for just a second.
- 17:30Speaker 1: But I don't let it define me and I don't
- 17:33Speaker 1: let it stop me from living my life because I
- 17:37Speaker 1: know that that's not what they would want. But if
- 17:40Speaker 1: I go in the bedroom and take a half hour
- 17:42Speaker 1: to cry in the fetal position, I also don't feel
- 17:45Speaker 1: I don't feel bad about doing that either. I process
- 17:48Speaker 1: those feelings. So really, really give yourself some grace. I
- 17:52Speaker 1: guess that's the message that I wanted to give you know,
- 17:54Speaker 1: in this whole like twenty five minute you know this
- 17:59Speaker 1: podcas cast is let yourself feel all the things and
- 18:03Speaker 1: give yourself some grace and know that it's completely normal
- 18:06Speaker 1: and there is no right or wrong way, and to
- 18:08Speaker 1: love yourself regardless. But if you feel like you're falling
- 18:12Speaker 1: down a slope that you can't get out of and
- 18:13Speaker 1: you need help, then ask for help. That's okay too.
- 18:17Speaker 1: It's okay to ask for help. And I just don't
- 18:20Speaker 1: want you to be hard on yourself, because grief is
- 18:22Speaker 1: really hard to talk about because because there is no
- 18:28Speaker 1: definition of how to deal with it, There is no
- 18:31Speaker 1: step by step process, there is no this is how
- 18:34Speaker 1: you do it, and so it's kind of like raising kids.
- 18:37Speaker 1: You do it your way right, you don't, and people
- 18:41Speaker 1: will sometimes judge you on the way you do it,
- 18:43Speaker 1: but that's they're tough. But I just want you to
- 18:47Speaker 1: not fall so down, so down the spiral that you
- 18:52Speaker 1: feel like you can't get out of it, because there
- 18:55Speaker 1: is still a lot of good left and your loved
- 19:00Speaker 1: and would want you to find that. But I also
- 19:03Speaker 1: guarantee you too, when it is time, that loved one
- 19:08Speaker 1: will be the first one there for you when you
- 19:10Speaker 1: do your own transition. But it's not your time today,
- 19:16Speaker 1: so so try and do your damnedest and you don't
- 19:21Speaker 1: have to show up for anybody. You don't have to
- 19:23Speaker 1: try and be strong for anybody. If you want to cry, cry,
- 19:27Speaker 1: if you if you feel like you don't want to
- 19:30Speaker 1: listen to music because it hurts so bad, then don't
- 19:33Speaker 1: you do you this holiday season and try and find
- 19:36Speaker 1: the magic in it, try and find little glimpses of it,
- 19:41Speaker 1: because the highest frigacy you could be in is to
- 19:44Speaker 1: be authentic, right, And you're not authentic if you're pretending
- 19:47Speaker 1: it doesn't bother you. You're not authentic if you're pretending
- 19:49Speaker 1: it doesn't hurt. So I'm not saying cover up those emotions.
- 19:53Speaker 1: I'm saying, feel those emotions and get through them, but
- 19:56Speaker 1: don't choose to stay in them. Don't choose to stay
- 19:59Speaker 1: in that suffer Earth is hard, and especially when you
- 20:06Speaker 1: have grief and you lose somebody. And I just want
- 20:09Speaker 1: you to know that I love you, and I am
- 20:10Speaker 1: rooting for you, and I'm so proud of you, incredibly
- 20:15Speaker 1: incredibly proud of you, because if you're listening to this,
- 20:18Speaker 1: then I know you're trying. You know you're trying, right,
- 20:21Speaker 1: You don't want to you don't choose to sit in
- 20:23Speaker 1: the suffering. And so if you're listening to this. Just
- 20:28Speaker 1: know your loved one is with you right now, sitting
- 20:31Speaker 1: there listening to this with you, your loved one. Your
- 20:36Speaker 1: loved ones are with you while you're listening to this.
- 20:38Speaker 1: Your loved ones are with you as you're baking or
- 20:41Speaker 1: cooking for your family, or doing the tree or driving
- 20:46Speaker 1: down the street. Your loved one is with you. So
- 20:48Speaker 1: talk to them. Talk to them like they're still there,
- 20:51Speaker 1: and tell them that you miss them. They hear you,
- 20:55Speaker 1: and they're listening, and they know that you're there, and
- 20:57Speaker 1: they will start once they kind of know that you
- 21:00Speaker 1: you know that they're there, they'll start giving you signs
- 21:03Speaker 1: and they'll let you know that they're around, so you matter.
- 21:09Speaker 1: You're still here for a reason, and they are your
- 21:14Speaker 1: new guardian angel and they do watch over you, and
- 21:19Speaker 1: they watch over you. I mean, I'm just the littlest
- 21:22Speaker 1: random things come through for readings, like they were with
- 21:24Speaker 1: you yesterday when you had steak for dinner. So they know,
- 21:29Speaker 1: they know, and they know you miss them. They know
- 21:32Speaker 1: you love them and they love you and they're with
- 21:37Speaker 1: you and they're not mad. They you know, they carry
- 21:41Speaker 1: stuff over there. They see their life review, they see
- 21:43Speaker 1: how things played out, and they see why people do
- 21:45Speaker 1: the things that they do, and they don't. They can
- 21:48Speaker 1: come through sometimes and readings with frustration for situations, but
- 21:52Speaker 1: they're never mad at people or or or a life.
- 21:58Speaker 1: They're just there be frustration, but they're never and I've
- 22:02Speaker 1: honestly never had maybe you know, their emotions on the
- 22:06Speaker 1: other side is like at a level two or ours.
- 22:08Speaker 1: They're like level ten. And the only reason they even
- 22:10Speaker 1: kind of express emotion is because they want us to
- 22:12Speaker 1: know how they want they That's how they communicate, right,
- 22:15Speaker 1: because that's how we communicate with our emotions. But they
- 22:17Speaker 1: can be frustrated with situations and because if somebody is
- 22:21Speaker 1: like if somebody's like you know, going through something and
- 22:25Speaker 1: they choose the suffering or they're they're having addiction issues,
- 22:28Speaker 1: they can they can show concern for that, but they
- 22:31Speaker 1: don't judge. They never judge, and they always love. And
- 22:35Speaker 1: so just know they're not disappointed into you, they're not
- 22:38Speaker 1: mad at you. They love you, and they're with you.
- 22:42Speaker 1: They're with you, And I hope that that helps this
- 22:47Speaker 1: holiday season. I hope that that makes you know, taught
- 22:50Speaker 1: to talk to them, because it just tunes in their frequency.
- 22:53Speaker 1: You know, in the olden days when we have a
- 22:54Speaker 1: radio station and we would tune into the radio station
- 22:58Speaker 1: and I'll be all static and then asue as we
- 23:00Speaker 1: dialed in, that's when you talk to them. That's what
- 23:02Speaker 1: you do. You dial in. You dial in, and you
- 23:05Speaker 1: listen to them, and they listen to you, and they
- 23:08Speaker 1: can answer back and just depending on how you hear it. Right,
- 23:14Speaker 1: But if you're stuck in grief, if you're stuck at
- 23:17Speaker 1: that and you kind of it's harder, it's harder for
- 23:20Speaker 1: them to reach you. So just know it's not anything
- 23:22Speaker 1: you've done. It's just it's just harder sometimes for them
- 23:27Speaker 1: to be able to reach you. So they'll use things
- 23:29Speaker 1: like pennies or dimes or butterflies or any of that
- 23:32Speaker 1: kind of stuff to get your attention. So and sometimes
- 23:35Speaker 1: they don't. A lot of times people are like, I
- 23:37Speaker 1: know this, this lost loved one is round. I need
- 23:40Speaker 1: to know what they're trying to tell me. Sometimes they're
- 23:42Speaker 1: not trying to tell you anything. Sometimes they don't have
- 23:44Speaker 1: Most of the time they don't have this big, huge
- 23:47Speaker 1: like you need to know this. Most of the time
- 23:50Speaker 1: they're just like I'm here, I'm freaking here with you,
- 23:54Speaker 1: and I love you and I'm so incredibly proud of you,
- 23:58Speaker 1: and I know that super at all, but it's well,
- 24:01Speaker 1: I mean, I want you to picture like, if you
- 24:03Speaker 1: were to pass and you were to come through, what
- 24:06Speaker 1: would you want to tell your lad one. I'm here,
- 24:08Speaker 1: I'm here, and I love you and I'm so freaking
- 24:11Speaker 1: proud of you. That's what you want to tell them.
- 24:14Speaker 1: So just know that that's what they're saying. And you've
- 24:18Speaker 1: You've got this. I know people all the time, just
- 24:23Speaker 1: you do have this. I know people all the time
- 24:25Speaker 1: are like you. You're strong. It's because you have no
- 24:28Speaker 1: choice but to be strong. Right. If you had any
- 24:31Speaker 1: other choices, you wouldn't. But you have no choice but
- 24:34Speaker 1: to be strong. So give yourself some grace. You be
- 24:39Speaker 1: incredibly proud of you no matter how you handle this
- 24:43Speaker 1: this holiday season. You root for you because they are.
- 24:48Speaker 1: And it doesn't matter what anybody else around you thinks.
- 24:51Speaker 1: It's what you, what you, what you feel. Process those feelings,
- 24:57Speaker 1: know that they're normal, Let them, let them want true you,
- 25:01Speaker 1: and do what you can to not choose to be
- 25:04Speaker 1: in the suffering. I love you guys so much, and
- 25:07Speaker 1: I wish so badly. I wish so badly there was
- 25:12Speaker 1: just a phone call that you could I mean, you
- 25:15Speaker 1: can use a medium. Yes, then they validate and they
- 25:17Speaker 1: and but I wish I had that. I wish I
- 25:20Speaker 1: had that gift to just send you all all the phones,
- 25:24Speaker 1: all the phones so you could connect for at least,
- 25:27Speaker 1: you know, twenty or thirty minutes. But you you really
- 25:31Speaker 1: do have it already. You already have that phone. You
- 25:35Speaker 1: just have to believe in it, and you have to
- 25:36Speaker 1: know that you have that power, and you have to
- 25:38Speaker 1: trust yourself, and you have to listen. So I love
- 25:43Speaker 1: you guys so much. I'm so incredibly, incredibly proud and
- 25:48Speaker 1: of you, and I'm rooting for you, and I love you,
- 25:51Speaker 1: and I hope that you have the best Christmas ever.
- 25:56Speaker 1: I'm not sure I'm going to be doing podcast next
- 26:00Speaker 1: week because I usually record on Mondays, and I will
- 26:04Speaker 1: be out of town Monday because I'm going to Oh
- 26:06Speaker 1: there is another Monday, I think though, before Christmas, So
- 26:09Speaker 1: we'll see, we'll see. There might be a Monday that
- 26:12Speaker 1: gets skipped. I'm kind of I'm kind of debating actually
- 26:16Speaker 1: if I need to like stop podcasts for the end
- 26:20Speaker 1: of the year, because I'm kind of gonna revamp for
- 26:22Speaker 1: next year, So we'll see. We'll see how I feel.
- 26:25Speaker 1: Sometimes I feel like I really want to like, come
- 26:28Speaker 1: on here, and I feel really pulled by spirit to
- 26:31Speaker 1: give you a message. And then sometimes I just feel like, Okay,
- 26:34Speaker 1: things are good, but so we'll kind of see. But
- 26:36Speaker 1: just know I love you, guys, and you have the
- 26:39Speaker 1: magic already inside you for you to connect to your
- 26:42Speaker 1: loved one. So you already have the magic inside of you.
- 26:44Speaker 1: You might not feel it, you might not know what,
- 26:45Speaker 1: but you do. So I love you guys so much,
- 26:48Speaker 1: and I will hopefully talk to you next week
