- 0:12Speaker 1: All Right, you guys, we are here with Monica Garcia
- 0:17Speaker 1: Salt Lake City.
- 0:18Speaker 2: No Housewise Housewife.
- 0:22Speaker 1: I gotta say, I've been really riding the wave with you.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Like there's sometimes where I'm like, I know, sometimes I'm like, Okay.
- 0:31Speaker 2: I know.
- 0:32Speaker 3: That's literally every week everybody's well a Greek.
- 0:35Speaker 4: Easter episode, we're like, no, Monica, no, And then we
- 0:39Speaker 4: felt bad for your mom. And then when you actually
- 0:41Speaker 4: had to sit down with your mom, Ye, my heart
- 0:44Speaker 4: was broken and a bazillion pieces.
- 0:47Speaker 2: An entire episode literally made me cry.
- 0:50Speaker 4: Yeah, because I just felt like, I mean, I understood
- 0:52Speaker 4: you better. I felt bad, and I just wanted to
- 0:56Speaker 4: tell your mom stop.
- 0:58Speaker 2: And the fact that your dad.
- 0:59Speaker 4: Left to you when you were young, and then your
- 1:01Speaker 4: mom left you at twelve years old is just.
- 1:04Speaker 3: Well, damn, let's just dive, right.
- 1:07Speaker 1: I I have no just no, I was like, we
- 1:11Speaker 1: can use different words and left you.
- 1:13Speaker 3: I'm just sorry. I just I was so heart broke.
- 1:16Speaker 2: I watched it Champagne for this. I'm sorry.
- 1:19Speaker 3: I've been doinning to reach out to you. That's why
- 1:22Speaker 3: yourself to me, No, you're s for you.
- 1:24Speaker 2: My my question is in regards to all that, when
- 1:28Speaker 2: it came.
- 1:29Speaker 1: To filming, what made you say, like, I'm willing to
- 1:33Speaker 1: film with my mom and expose this part of my
- 1:36Speaker 1: life because I mean, we all have family, not to
- 1:40Speaker 1: your extent, but like there's there's family dynamics that sometimes
- 1:44Speaker 1: people are comfortable showing and sometimes they aren't.
- 1:47Speaker 2: What made you comfortable doing that?
- 1:49Speaker 3: I think for me, there wasn't ever a doubt in
- 1:53Speaker 3: my mind. I kind of felt like a lot of
- 1:56Speaker 3: people hide their real lives, and I felt like for me,
- 1:59Speaker 3: the only way it was going to work to be
- 2:01Speaker 3: on the show was to be completely transparent. And my
- 2:07Speaker 3: situation with my mother is bad, like it's really bad,
- 2:11Speaker 3: but there are other people that have even worse than that,
- 2:15Speaker 3: and I just feel like it's so important for those
- 2:17Speaker 3: people to feel seen because I feel like a lot
- 2:19Speaker 3: of times watching shows, it's like everything's perfect and everything's
- 2:25Speaker 3: great and it's okay to show the ugly sides too,
- 2:28Speaker 3: and how you work through that And mentally, I think
- 2:31Speaker 3: it's been crazy my dms. I've never seen anything.
- 2:36Speaker 4: I was just gonna ask you, Yeah, you actually And
- 2:38Speaker 4: I've known this because I've been the bazillion years I've
- 2:41Speaker 4: been on this show, I've shared so many ups and
- 2:44Speaker 4: downs in life. I feel like when you do that,
- 2:46Speaker 4: you're probably getting reached. People are reaching out to you
- 2:49Speaker 4: that have gone through the same thing, and you realize
- 2:51Speaker 4: when you do that and you open yourself up to that,
- 2:54Speaker 4: you're helping so many people.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Yeah, it's been crazy. I don't know, Like from the
- 3:00Speaker 3: first episode till now, the dms are insane with I
- 3:05Speaker 3: am so grateful that you filmed that and thank you
- 3:08Speaker 3: for sharing, Like I'm not alone and it was not
- 3:11Speaker 3: seeing like an exact fight I've had with like my
- 3:15Speaker 3: mom or dad or whoever.
- 3:18Speaker 4: Mom, mom and daughter relationships are difficult, I know, but yeah,
- 3:22Speaker 4: I know.
- 3:22Speaker 1: What about your thoughts on her being so vocal on
- 3:27Speaker 1: social media?
- 3:28Speaker 2: Like did you know that part was gonna happen?
- 3:29Speaker 1: Because that's that's why I'm like, Okay, we're already watching
- 3:32Speaker 1: this play out, but now it's just non stop social media, Like.
- 3:37Speaker 3: Yeah, and I have not talked to my mother still,
- 3:40Speaker 3: what how.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Long have you, like since the Easter Saints Greek Easter.
- 3:45Speaker 3: No there's more, yeah, oh yeah, there's more after that
- 3:51Speaker 3: that happens obviously, But since filming stopped. We Yeah, I'm
- 3:57Speaker 3: just I'm and then seeing what she's been doing on
- 3:59Speaker 3: Twitter is insane. It's insane. It's the retweets and the
- 4:05Speaker 3: likes of the next denis about me that I'm like,
- 4:09Speaker 3: you're my mother.
- 4:10Speaker 4: But do you feel like putting it on National TV?
- 4:13Speaker 4: It made your relationship worse between you and your.
- 4:15Speaker 3: Mom that it's always been really bad. I think it
- 4:19Speaker 3: actually gave me the strength to cut ties.
- 4:22Speaker 2: To do boundaries, to set up your boundaries.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Yeah, because seeing it was like, it was hard, Yeah,
- 4:30Speaker 3: it was really hard.
- 4:32Speaker 1: And if you had to pick one person from the
- 4:35Speaker 1: group of women that you're you know, in your friend
- 4:37Speaker 1: group at this point that you trust.
- 4:39Speaker 3: I think right now maybe I would say Meredith. I guess.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Yeah, And how do I had to pick? I'm going
- 4:51Speaker 2: with Meredith. How do you think jen Shaw feels about
- 4:53Speaker 2: you being on the show.
- 4:55Speaker 3: I don't care.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Good love that. Yeah.
- 5:01Speaker 4: So we got we got to meet Jenshaw last year.
- 5:04Speaker 4: We got, we got to we got no IoT like we.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Had came in our room.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Well, no, I wouldn't leave Heather alcohol and our glam.
- 5:14Speaker 4: Yeah, Heather Gate brought her into our room and we
- 5:17Speaker 4: talked to her. She had a therapist, a bodyguard, a
- 5:21Speaker 4: jeweler person, she had all these, she had entourage of
- 5:25Speaker 4: these very random people.
- 5:26Speaker 2: A jeweler.
- 5:27Speaker 4: But the thing is she was so outgoing and fun.
- 5:32Speaker 4: She was outgoing and fun, and we had no idea
- 5:36Speaker 4: at the moment we thought that she was good.
- 5:38Speaker 2: We didn't.
- 5:39Speaker 4: She kept denying she was Okay.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Now I had to give I had to give talk.
- 5:45Speaker 2: We were going like I like everybody.
- 5:50Speaker 1: And like she's not coming with us, She's we're leaving
- 5:54Speaker 1: it here, we gotta go, and.
- 5:56Speaker 2: She like that.
- 5:57Speaker 1: I know, I'm always this skeptic's going Do I care?
- 6:02Speaker 2: She's going away?
- 6:03Speaker 4: Like she's all right, Well, okay, let's move on from Brinshaw.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Is there anyone you actually really have fun with though?
- 6:11Speaker 2: In that group? Like who?
- 6:13Speaker 3: I would say, Whitney I had the most fun with.
- 6:16Speaker 2: Okay, Whitney a lot.
- 6:17Speaker 3: Yeah, I would say Whitney I had the most fun with.
- 6:20Speaker 3: She's the easiest to have fun.
- 6:22Speaker 2: And is this Lisa Warlow's sixty thousand dollars ring? Because
- 6:24Speaker 2: it looks quite fun?
- 6:25Speaker 3: How many people ask me? I can't asked that all
- 6:29Speaker 3: the time. I don't know where the ring is, Like,
- 6:32Speaker 3: so it's fifty dollars off Amazon.
- 6:34Speaker 2: I love them. Are you dating it? Are you dating
- 6:37Speaker 2: anyone right now? Any brothers, any law I.
- 6:42Speaker 1: Have a line.
- 6:43Speaker 3: Okay, her brother is I have standards, red family have
- 6:51Speaker 3: some distance. There it is you, sister wives. Actually I
- 7:00Speaker 3: will give you a very very big life update. My
- 7:04Speaker 3: divorce actually was just finalized at the beginning.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Of this month.
- 7:09Speaker 4: Congratulation, Yes, yes, yes, How are your kids like being
- 7:15Speaker 4: on the show?
- 7:16Speaker 3: You know what? They don't really get it. They really
- 7:18Speaker 3: don't get it. They have no idea. No, I don't
- 7:21Speaker 3: even play it in my house, so they have no idea.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Like when I went to Costco and people like came
- 7:27Speaker 3: up to me, My little seven year old was like,
- 7:30Speaker 3: why do you want picture with my mom? Like, they
- 7:32Speaker 3: have no idea.
- 7:35Speaker 1: That was actually one of my favorite things that you
- 7:37Speaker 1: did when you were, you know, in your robe driving
- 7:41Speaker 1: the kids to school and they were I forget did
- 7:44Speaker 1: your kids say penis or they were a boner bon.
- 7:48Speaker 2: I was like, this is.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Such a relatable moment because it's all of us, and
- 7:51Speaker 1: like your their car cams and then your kids say
- 7:54Speaker 1: some shit.
- 7:55Speaker 2: You're like, damn it every time.
- 7:57Speaker 3: So we have the wheel of truth and answer the question. Okay,
- 8:02Speaker 3: I'm scared, don't be scared. Okay, Oh ask that that's
- 8:06Speaker 3: a question.
- 8:08Speaker 4: Yes, funny, okay, okay, she I'll ask some questions.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Ask this picture, some questions.
- 8:21Speaker 3: Okay, I will ask you a question. Do you think
- 8:25Speaker 3: that you will ever come back on the show, because
- 8:29Speaker 3: I really am curious.
- 8:30Speaker 2: I don't know. I would only go back in a
- 8:33Speaker 2: certain capacity.
- 8:34Speaker 3: So okay, So you would never want to go back
- 8:36Speaker 3: full time?
- 8:37Speaker 2: I know, I would never want to go back part time.
- 8:41Speaker 3: Oh she wants to go back full time?
- 8:43Speaker 2: Oh, I would never go So I would never go
- 8:47Speaker 2: back and a limited capacity.
- 8:49Speaker 3: Here's okay. She's got a house in La Okay, and
- 8:53Speaker 3: she's got a.
