Intel leaps as US government looks to buy a stake
Higher than expected wholesale inflation dampened rate cut excitement to see the US market close flat overnight. But positive news reports sent Intel, Amazon and Eli Lilly upward. Hong Kong was down yesterday with some big names not quite delivering expected results. While the ASX is up this morning, building on yesterday's gains from strong company reports, including Westpac.
