- 0:52Speaker 1: hundred and ninety two. We're almost a sweet four hundred, Joe, Oh.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Did we do something for three hundred? We had a
- 1:01Speaker 2: bunch of our fellow skaffs on.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Yeah, it seems that way. I mean yeah, like right after,
- 1:09Speaker 1: right almost right after you joined the show. Because we
- 1:12Speaker 1: figure fifty two weeks in a year, they get through
- 1:15Speaker 1: one hundred shows, it's roughly two years.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Yeah, but we're I'm three plus years into it now.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Brom, I don't think so. I think three years will
- 1:28Speaker 1: be in November one.
- 1:29Speaker 2: No, I think that's gonna be four or maybe three.
- 1:32Speaker 2: I don't know who knows. It's all a blur. But
- 1:35Speaker 2: as you will notice, I will stand up.
- 1:38Speaker 1: I am wearing Saint Joseph.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Patriots, Saint of Scaffoss with my cross out, which I
- 1:48Speaker 2: will have to put back in because Rob will complain
- 1:51Speaker 2: that it hits the microphone. But yeah, I love this shirt.
- 1:56Speaker 2: I know the double be ordered it and it's funny.
- 2:00Speaker 2: It's funny and just a quick side note. Erica was like,
- 2:04Speaker 2: this doesn't look good. It doesn't look good. I was like,
- 2:06Speaker 2: I don't know. I look kind of satanly.
- 2:09Speaker 5: You know, I think you know I think so too.
- 2:14Speaker 5: Trust me. I could have made it a lot worse.
- 2:17Speaker 2: You could have the hairs. The hair isn't too gray, No, I.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Was just huge. Your ears aren't sticking out like car
- 2:25Speaker 1: door open car doors. You know, it could be a
- 2:27Speaker 1: lot worse.
- 2:28Speaker 4: It could.
- 2:29Speaker 1: You're not missing teeth. You don't have black guys. You're
- 2:31Speaker 1: not bleeding all over the place.
- 2:33Speaker 4: You know.
- 2:34Speaker 2: I am not missing teeth anymore. I got my implant
- 2:37Speaker 2: this week, as the members know, or tooth h fucking
- 2:44Speaker 2: five grand later. Oh my god. But before we welcome
- 2:50Speaker 2: people in, I have some good news.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Joseph Brelly National Archives and Records Administration Certificate of Completion,
- 3:00Speaker 1: Certificate is Gratitude Joseph P. Barelli and recognition of compelling
- 3:04Speaker 1: their Researcher Orientation Course.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Wow.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Please bring the certificate with you to get in the
- 3:10Speaker 1: fucking door of the archives.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, and you have to go on event
- 3:16Speaker 2: right yeah, oh my god, bro. They make it so hard.
- 3:24Speaker 2: And of course this is by design. I mean, let's
- 3:26Speaker 2: not be naive here.
- 3:30Speaker 5: Well it keeps the cafuzas away.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Yeah, well not not in this case. I have a fellow.
- 3:39Speaker 5: We had one to learn how to get around the system. Apparently.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Yeah, well Andrew Eiler helped me, walked me.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Through it with like with like, uh he had help, yes,
- 3:51Speaker 1: and uh, it will.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Be fun and yeah, we'll see, we'll see what comes
- 3:57Speaker 2: of it. I've never been to the Archives before, and yeah,
- 4:03Speaker 2: it should be an interesting experience. I bought a I
- 4:06Speaker 2: had to buy one hundred and twenty dollars scanner because
- 4:11Speaker 2: when you get the boxes, like I don't think Malcolm
- 4:14Speaker 2: Blunt had it. I think he had to photocopy it
- 4:16Speaker 2: and like ship.
- 4:17Speaker 1: All the just a pocket full of dimes.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Yeah, but you know you're just gonna scan it, not
- 4:24Speaker 2: read the documents and then read them later. So I
- 4:30Speaker 2: think we'll have some cool follow up shows if I
- 4:32Speaker 2: can find anything interesting, and uh, well hopefully you do.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Hopefully we do. Uh, there is There even is some
- 4:40Speaker 2: ar RB stuff on the Martins, so that I'll be
- 4:46Speaker 2: looking for so who knows treasure hunt?
- 4:52Speaker 5: All right, so welcome in this keffusie.
- 4:54Speaker 2: All right, well, guess who got the gold not not
- 4:59Speaker 2: the bronze? For once?
- 5:01Speaker 1: Money boy Trey outside is referenced that Joe completely went
- 5:06Speaker 1: right over his head. That's it's BJ before Joe as
- 5:12Speaker 1: does everything.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Yes, and Paul has given me a hard time because
- 5:16Speaker 2: things go over my head. But we love you. PAULA
- 5:21Speaker 2: South to West? What up? You got the silver? And
- 5:27Speaker 2: and James Smith got the bronze. This week the race
- 5:32Speaker 2: is on and it looks like heartache and I win
- 5:35Speaker 2: the bronze.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Hey, yep, Like Trey said, that's a good George Jones reference.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Also BJ and his head, Yeah, can you explain that one?
- 5:46Speaker 1: It's it's an old George Jones song, the Races, oh
- 5:50Speaker 1: his own Yeah, Oh my god, I'm so bad. It's
- 5:55Speaker 1: a good drinking song if you're ever feeling lonely. Yeah,
- 6:00Speaker 1: all right, just get on YouTube, look up George Jones
- 6:03Speaker 1: and start drinking.
- 6:04Speaker 4: All right?
- 6:05Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 6:05Speaker 2: I could do that, tiny dancer? What's up? Power you me?
- 6:11Speaker 2: I thought this week would never end? Thank God, it's Friday. Yes,
- 6:15Speaker 2: sister two seventy four, who was probably enjoying the nice
- 6:19Speaker 2: son in Australia this sunny morning. I think it is there.
- 6:25Speaker 2: South to West thumbnail shows Joe pointing at Buele, saying,
- 6:29Speaker 2: I don't believe he's telling the whole truth. We'll get there.
- 6:33Speaker 5: I was telling Joe before the show.
- 6:35Speaker 1: I was like, man, I love doing these AAT covers now,
- 6:37Speaker 1: I mean, I mean, look at this again, real quick, folks,
- 6:44Speaker 1: How fucking cool is that?
- 6:46Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 6:47Speaker 1: I love it.
- 6:48Speaker 2: It captures Bule's likeness pretty well. I have to say,
- 6:52Speaker 2: you were not that happy either, you were?
- 6:56Speaker 1: You were? I told AI to have both the hosts
- 6:59Speaker 1: look at the guy middle vary accusatorially, and that's what
- 7:02Speaker 1: That's what we got. Now. The picture up here in
- 7:05Speaker 1: the corner with a JFK and Kennedy, this is Buele
- 7:09Speaker 1: now not not not looking so hot Buell.
- 7:12Speaker 5: Yeah, but of course he is old.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Yeah. Uh, Paula is here. I was just messaging with her.

- 7:43Speaker 1: M I wish, Jesus, I wish. Uh if you ever
- 7:50Speaker 1: don't see me again? Triple B won the lottery. Other
- 7:55Speaker 1: than that, I got bills today.
- 7:59Speaker 2: There's there something called the lottery curse? Are you familiar
- 8:03Speaker 2: with this? Like everyone that went wins the lottery.
- 8:06Speaker 1: I'm old enough to if I won the lottery now,
- 8:10Speaker 1: I would I would be smart enough to know what
- 8:12Speaker 1: to do. Like if I won the lottery at twenty five,
- 8:15Speaker 1: I'd have been fucked right, I'd probably be dead already,
- 8:20Speaker 1: but now I would know what to do. I would one.
- 8:25Speaker 5: Staying young forever.
- 8:27Speaker 2: And do you know who won the lottery once, if
- 8:29Speaker 2: not twice, Jeffrey Epstein?
- 8:34Speaker 5: Well sure that wasn't all luck Well right.

- 12:55Speaker 2: I think that is it for right now. Timothy Ryan

- 13:03Speaker 2: what we'll be talking.
- 13:04Speaker 5: About tonight, Robert, okay, okay, still a man, okay.
- 13:12Speaker 1: Okay, okay, And we'll clear that up.
- 13:14Speaker 2: We won'te miss gender.
- 13:15Speaker 5: You a car that throws us off.
- 13:17Speaker 1: It looks like wife Goldberg had such a pretty Krueger

- 13:25Speaker 1: it's okay. We love you, you like you, all right, So.
- 13:30Speaker 7: Alright, hold we got one more, all right, don't funck
- 13:38Speaker 7: this up, Joe, I'm.
- 13:41Speaker 2: Going to Robert full Yard.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Hold on, hold on one, Oh, holy ship. When the
- 13:58Speaker 1: money's on the line, Joe delivers. How's it going, Robert
- 14:05Speaker 1: miter fool Yeah, all right, So tonight, it's been a while.
- 14:11Speaker 1: It's been a long long while. We're talking pre YouTube,
- 14:17Speaker 1: A very long time since a spotlight has been shown
- 14:22Speaker 1: on what I consider to be a mostly beloved figure
- 14:30Speaker 1: in this whole story.
- 14:31Speaker 5: Oh thank you, mister fool y'all.
- 14:33Speaker 2: Wow we got two Oh wow, we got the double
- 14:37Speaker 2: bee gifting ten and then we got nine or ten
- 14:43Speaker 2: dollars super shot from mister Rob.
- 14:48Speaker 7: So thank you.
- 14:48Speaker 2: I can't yeah when you when the money is on
- 14:52Speaker 2: the line, right, but thank you. We appreciate it.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Yes, and all the new members eight. Listen up, folks,
- 15:00Speaker 1: if you've been granted a membership from these fine gentlemen.

- 15:23Speaker 1: you can check out the members only show next Wednesday night,
- 15:25Speaker 1: and you can check out all of the previous Spooks
- 15:31Speaker 1: opened up members only shows that we've ever done. So
- 15:35Speaker 1: there's a lot of shows out there to catch up on.
- 15:37Speaker 1: There's a lot of content out there. If you're digging
- 15:39Speaker 1: what you're seeing, make sure to check them out and
- 15:44Speaker 1: feel free to re up your membership once it goes
- 15:47Speaker 1: away if you like us.
- 15:49Speaker 5: That's all.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, thanks guys for that. Appreciate it.
- 15:53Speaker 2: We have a lot of fun over there, and we
- 15:54Speaker 2: play things we can't play here because the copyright strikes,
- 15:58Speaker 2: and we are maybe a little more unhinged.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Yeah, we may curse a little bit, We may show
- 16:05Speaker 1: brief nudity a little bit more. Uh, yeah, you might
- 16:11Speaker 1: see a nipple every once in a while. You never know,
- 16:13Speaker 1: you never know.
- 16:15Speaker 5: But back to Buell Fraser.
- 16:17Speaker 1: So, like I said, there's a lot of misconceptions about
- 16:22Speaker 1: Bull Fraser. And if you've only seen Buill Fraser from
- 16:29Speaker 1: like the two thousands up to now, you may think,
- 16:33Speaker 1: you know, he's just a kindly, soft spoken old guy
- 16:37Speaker 1: who was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
- 16:40Speaker 5: Okay, which he likely was in the wrong place at
- 16:43Speaker 5: the wrong time. I'm not disputing that.
- 16:46Speaker 1: But as most of you know, the living witnesses.
- 16:53Speaker 5: To this case are dying off. There's only really.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Provably two left, Marina and Buell, right, unless I'm missing somebody.
- 17:08Speaker 2: Joe to Ruth die. Ruth died, right, she just died.
- 17:13Speaker 2: So yeah, I mean, I think bringing A might still
- 17:17Speaker 2: be alive. But you're right, for the most part, they're
- 17:19Speaker 2: all gone.
- 17:20Speaker 1: I don't trust anything he says. I'm but either do I.
- 17:24Speaker 1: But you know, a lot of these folks are going
- 17:28Speaker 1: dropping by the wayside, you know. Really, the only two
- 17:33Speaker 1: left that we could ever possibly get any kind of
- 17:36Speaker 1: truth from who would are actually in the position that
- 17:39Speaker 1: we can prove or in the position to know our
- 17:43Speaker 1: buell Fraser and Marina.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Well, bring Ya is still a wive. I just chucked.
- 17:49Speaker 5: And again I.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Don't trust Bringier, and he's not really in the position
- 17:54Speaker 1: to know anything about the assassination. He might be able
- 17:58Speaker 1: to shed some light on really what they were doing
- 18:00Speaker 1: in New Orleans, but when it comes to the assassination,
- 18:04Speaker 1: Fraser Marina only two left. And you might say this
- 18:09Speaker 1: picture up here in the corner of bul Fraser is
- 18:11Speaker 1: an exaggeration. It's not much of one. He is not
- 18:17Speaker 1: looking good these days. And I'm not trying to be funny,
- 18:21Speaker 1: and I'm not trying to be an asshole. But you know,
- 18:24Speaker 1: people get old, people die, and sometimes it comes quicker
- 18:30Speaker 1: than you think. Right. So Fraser was nineteen years old
- 18:35Speaker 1: in nineteen sixty three. Nineteen.
- 18:40Speaker 2: He was a kid.
- 18:42Speaker 5: He was a kid.
- 18:43Speaker 1: He was a kid, you know, and a young kid. Now.
- 18:52Speaker 1: He stuck to his story for a very long time.
- 18:57Speaker 1: He stayed to himself for a very long time. He
- 19:01Speaker 1: would pop out maybe once every five years to do
- 19:04Speaker 1: a puff piece on the on a news local news
- 19:06Speaker 1: channel or something, you know, where he told his little
- 19:10Speaker 1: story and then they moved.
- 19:12Speaker 2: On and asy or something, yeah, feel.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Good piece, you know whatever, whatever, right, And it wasn't
- 19:20Speaker 1: until the two thousands and and you know, he really
- 19:23Speaker 1: put himself out there on the living history thing on
- 19:26Speaker 1: the sixth floor museum, and he decided to uh get
- 19:30Speaker 1: involved on the Facebook, and he decided to write a
- 19:33Speaker 1: book finally that turned out to be a gigantically huge disappointment.
- 19:40Speaker 5: But I digress.
- 19:44Speaker 1: We have a very extensive library of things that Fraser
- 19:51Speaker 1: has said over the years, and we also have a
- 19:55Speaker 1: vast library and evidence and testimony and and science to
- 20:02Speaker 1: back up the fact that maybe Buell Fraser hasn't been
- 20:07Speaker 1: entirely truthful all these years. Not to mention he sometimes
- 20:13Speaker 1: contradicts himself in his own stories, and sometimes things that
- 20:18Speaker 1: he says just cannot be true. So we're gonna be
- 20:24Speaker 1: looking at all of this this evening to see if
- 20:28Speaker 1: we can parse out exactly what the problem is here, Joe. Now,
- 20:33Speaker 1: we're gonna get into this kind of chronologically, if you will,
- 20:39Speaker 1: but I want to take you back before I hand
- 20:42Speaker 1: it over to Joe and we get started. Because many
- 20:45Speaker 1: moons ago, Joe, many moons Like back in the twenty teens,
- 20:52Speaker 1: your boy the Triple B was approached by a swinging
- 20:57Speaker 1: dick author by the name of Russ Baker.
- 21:01Speaker 5: Right.
- 21:02Speaker 1: He just you know, he wrote this book Family of
- 21:04Speaker 1: Secrets about the Bush Dynasty and all of that have you,
- 21:07Speaker 1: that released, you know, somewhere around twenty thirteen for the
- 21:10Speaker 1: fiftieth anniversary, right, And I guess he had been listening
- 21:14Speaker 1: to my show when I had done a show or
- 21:16Speaker 1: two on Fraser, and he reached out to me and
- 21:20Speaker 1: he wanted me to write basically Dig Deep on Fraser
- 21:29Speaker 1: right it down in a cohesive, thoughtful way that made sense, right,
- 21:36Speaker 1: And I was saying, Okay, you know cool, you know
- 21:39Speaker 1: I might be able to do something here and get
- 21:41Speaker 1: a little credit for this, you know, and YadA, YadA, YadA.
- 21:46Speaker 4: So I.
- 21:50Speaker 1: Agreed initially to do this, right, But what gave me
- 21:55Speaker 1: the he be Gebi's a little bit is the way
- 21:57Speaker 1: he phrased it. Joe, are you familiar with what a
- 22:01Speaker 1: memo to file is?
- 22:05Speaker 2: Remind me?
- 22:06Speaker 1: Okay, so what Russ Baker asked me for was a
- 22:11Speaker 1: memo to file on Buel Frasier, which is legal ease
- 22:15Speaker 1: right now, I'm no lawyer, so I don't know what
- 22:18Speaker 1: the hell this means.
- 22:19Speaker 5: So I look it up and what a memo.
- 22:21Speaker 1: To file is. It's a formal internal note added to
- 22:27Speaker 1: a project to document key information, decisions, or conversations that
- 22:34Speaker 1: are not captured anywhere else. It creates a quote paper
- 22:38Speaker 1: trail for due diligence, protecting professionals from future accusations and
- 22:46Speaker 1: keeping projects updated.
- 22:48Speaker 2: Defamation.
- 22:49Speaker 1: Most common uses include documenting unexpected, important or informal information.
- 22:58Speaker 1: But basically, if I were to write something accusatory or
- 23:03Speaker 1: inflammatory or defamat defe defamatory about Bill Frasier and he
- 23:08Speaker 1: publishes in his book, He's not gonna get in trouble.
- 23:12Speaker 1: I am.
- 23:14Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what we call a problem, right.
- 23:19Speaker 1: So I told Russ Baker Pound sand dude, go f
- 23:24Speaker 1: yourself because I ain't doing it. Yeah.
- 23:27Speaker 2: He kind of wanted to use you as like a
- 23:29Speaker 2: conduit in a sense.
- 23:30Speaker 1: Yeah, And I told him, I said, and if you
- 23:32Speaker 1: use anything that I've said on my shows without giving
- 23:36Speaker 1: me the proper credit, you'll be hearing.
- 23:39Speaker 5: From my motherfucking lawyer, could you memo to file?
- 23:43Speaker 1: So that did not end well and he never did
- 23:50Speaker 1: end up publishing that second book that he was working on,
- 23:54Speaker 1: by the way, but whatever, So it have all been
- 23:59Speaker 1: for naught anyway, apparently. But that prompted me, you know,
- 24:04Speaker 1: to start putting a case together against Buel Frasier, something
- 24:11Speaker 1: that is backed up with evidence, you know, and something
- 24:18Speaker 1: that you could point out and be like, look, this
- 24:21Speaker 1: does not make sense, okay, and we'll get there. But
- 24:28Speaker 1: there's a couple of things that we want to focus on,
- 24:30Speaker 1: and that's the contradictions from Fraser.
- 24:34Speaker 5: Concerning Oswald.
- 24:36Speaker 1: Now, they initially didn't think anything crazy about Fraser, but.
- 24:48Speaker 5: That changed.
- 24:49Speaker 1: At some point. He was found to be visiting his
- 24:55Speaker 1: father in law at the Irving Medical Center and the
- 25:03Speaker 1: Irving police were notified and they went out there at
- 25:06Speaker 1: about five fifteen PM, lured Fraser out of his stepfather's
- 25:13Speaker 1: hospital bedroom and promptly arrested him and took him down
- 25:19Speaker 1: to the Irving Police station and started questioning him in
- 25:23Speaker 1: the presence of some Dallas detectives that had come up
- 25:27Speaker 1: to talk to him, and based on what he said
- 25:30Speaker 1: during the course of that interview. They went back and
- 25:34Speaker 1: they searched his car that was still parked at the
- 25:37Speaker 1: Irving Medical Center. They said they didn't find anything in it,
- 25:40Speaker 1: and then they took Buell over to where he was
- 25:42Speaker 1: staying in his sister's house, and Buell Fraser handed over
- 25:48Speaker 1: his three to zero three British Enfield rifle and ammunition
- 25:51Speaker 1: to them, all right. And it was at this point.
- 25:56Speaker 5: That they wanted to.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Take Fraser back to Dallas terrrogate him further. And it
- 26:02Speaker 1: was at this point that of course, his sister freaks out.
- 26:06Speaker 1: She calls to their priest and you know, off they
- 26:10Speaker 1: go to Dallas where they start interrogating Fraser. Allegedly, Captain
- 26:18Speaker 1: Fritz comes in the room with an already pre typed confession,
- 26:23Speaker 1: shoves it in front of Fraser and tells him to
- 26:25Speaker 1: sign it, and according to Fraser, mister tough guy, mister
- 26:29Speaker 1: nineteen year old tough guy again, you know, tells him
- 26:35Speaker 1: you know, I'm not signing that. And I guess Fraser
- 26:38Speaker 1: or Fritz went back to like bitch slap him and
- 26:41Speaker 1: he was like, buddy, you hit me, You're gonna have
- 26:43Speaker 1: one hell of a fight on your hands. And then
- 26:45Speaker 1: supposedly Fritz back down and they gave him a lot
- 26:48Speaker 1: detector test and they said he passed it, and then
- 26:52Speaker 1: their investigation of Bulle Fraser stopped immediately they let him go. Well,
- 27:01Speaker 1: they start talking to Oswald, and when Oswald, they're asking
- 27:06Speaker 1: Oswald about a couple things including curtain rods and things
- 27:09Speaker 1: like that and not as well as like I don't
- 27:11Speaker 1: know what you're talking about. They call Fraser back, they
- 27:16Speaker 1: bring him back into the police station. Right, and allegedly
- 27:22Speaker 1: there's some things that happen that we have not actually
- 27:25Speaker 1: been told about, like a lineup that included Buell, Fraser
- 27:30Speaker 1: and Oswald in it to who we don't know, Okay,
- 27:35Speaker 1: but allegedly Buell Fraser told the HICA that they put
- 27:38Speaker 1: him in a lineup with Oswald that night for somebody.
- 27:43Speaker 1: But we'll get there, I promise for Joe. Let's start
- 27:48Speaker 1: it off, all right.
- 27:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:52Speaker 2: And wasn't Buell notoriously not close to his step father?
- 28:01Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think they got along very well. But
- 28:05Speaker 1: you know, of course that makes zero sense. Why would Fraser,
- 28:12Speaker 1: after seeing the president get his head blown off.
- 28:15Speaker 2: Getting getting let off of work early? Maybe in the one.
- 28:21Speaker 1: Where are you going I'm cruising for chicks, you knows,
- 28:26Speaker 1: or something.
- 28:27Speaker 2: I'm gonna visit my dying stepfather.
- 28:31Speaker 1: You know or the only the only way I could
- 28:33Speaker 1: see it benefiting Fraser to go see him is if
- 28:36Speaker 1: he needed advice about something like what should I do?
- 28:42Speaker 2: Right, because it's long been your suspicion that Buell drove
- 28:49Speaker 2: Lee a lot more frequently than just on Fridays.
- 28:54Speaker 5: Right, Yeah, and we'll get there too, Okay.
- 29:02Speaker 2: So yeah, I don't.
- 29:05Speaker 1: Buell to back it up, all right, a lot of
- 29:08Speaker 1: evidence to back it up. So don't go anywhere, folks,
- 29:14Speaker 1: all right, so.
- 29:16Speaker 2: Let's bring this up.
- 29:19Speaker 6: Uh.
- 29:20Speaker 2: I can figure this out.
- 29:25Speaker 1: Looking back that I called that old snoe nailing Bule's
- 29:28Speaker 1: jewels to the wall. I love it.
- 29:34Speaker 2: Yeah, so just disregard the members only thing. But this
- 29:38Speaker 2: is Buell being led into I believe, the DPD office.
- 29:43Speaker 2: And uh that's where we are going to start, as
- 29:47Speaker 2: we always like to do with the same day Affid David. Right.
- 29:56Speaker 2: So yeah, so oh Buell, and by the way, Rob,
- 30:04Speaker 2: later when we read the Warren Commission testimony, we should
- 30:07Speaker 2: do an impromptu Joseph Ball.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Don't made me break out my Bule Fraser voice.
- 30:16Speaker 2: That's what I'm trying to do. I work at the School,
- 30:22Speaker 2: Texas school Book Depository corner Alman, Houston. I've worked there
- 30:27Speaker 2: since September thirteenth, nineteen sixty three. And one of the
- 30:31Speaker 2: things I always find interesting when I revisit Buell is
- 30:34Speaker 2: that he really only worked there a month before Oswalt did.
- 30:37Speaker 2: So he wasn't like, like, you know, someone that worked
- 30:43Speaker 2: there for ten years type of thing, right, like I
- 30:45Speaker 2: think Joe Molino worked there for a long time. He
- 30:50Speaker 2: worked there a month before.
- 30:52Speaker 1: So there was a discrepancy about how he got his
- 30:54Speaker 1: job there, whether it was through something called the Massy
- 30:57Speaker 1: Employment Agency or from Lenny May, his sister. Now Fraser
- 31:04Speaker 1: testified that the reason he moved to Irving to live
- 31:08Speaker 1: with his sister was to find a job because he
- 31:11Speaker 1: was living in Bumpfuck, Egypt, Huntington, Texas, and after having
- 31:15Speaker 1: no success on his own, he signed up with several
- 31:18Speaker 1: employment agencies, including one called the Massy Employment Agency, and
- 31:24Speaker 1: he testified that that is how he got his position
- 31:28Speaker 1: at the Texas school Book Depository, and that he had
- 31:30Speaker 1: an interview with Roy Truley on September thirteenth and started
- 31:33Speaker 1: work the same day. Now, there's nothing in the records
- 31:39Speaker 1: indicating the Massy Employment Agency was contacted to confirm the referral.
- 31:43Speaker 1: Imagine that it should have seemed to have important, you know,
- 31:47Speaker 1: to kind of clear this up. Give him the bulls
- 31:49Speaker 1: stories in conflict with the testimony of his sister, who
- 31:51Speaker 1: told the commission that she had helped her brother search
- 31:54Speaker 1: for work because as a local, she knew all the
- 31:56Speaker 1: places that quote someone with you know, not very much
- 32:00Speaker 1: of an edge imcation confind work, and the help she
- 32:04Speaker 1: gave consisted of listing all of such places.
- 32:07Speaker 5: You know.
- 32:07Speaker 1: It was apparently as a result of that a similar
- 32:10Speaker 1: list was made for dummy Oswald as well. Yeah, well,
- 32:16Speaker 1: if you had found the job doing an agency, the
- 32:18Speaker 1: logical thing to do would have been to recommend that
- 32:20Speaker 1: agency to Oswald Lenny May.
- 32:22Speaker 5: But uh, it doesn't appear that's what she said.
- 32:25Speaker 1: So yeah, and and to be.
- 32:30Speaker 2: To give some context to this, right, Marina is living
- 32:34Speaker 2: with Ruth and Irving right right down the street from
- 32:39Speaker 2: where Buell's sister Lenny May was living, and a lot
- 32:45Speaker 2: of these ladies got together, so it could I do think,
- 32:49Speaker 2: you know, we've talked about this a lot. Ruth wasn't
- 32:53Speaker 2: fond of Lee in a lot of ways. He didn't
- 32:55Speaker 2: think she didn't think he could take care of her
- 32:58Speaker 2: and the baby and the baby to come, so she
- 33:02Speaker 2: tried to let him work.
- 33:04Speaker 1: That's her woman, you know what I'm saying. Yeah, but
- 33:10Speaker 1: in nineteen sixty three, you got to put on the
- 33:12Speaker 1: happy face and wear the mask. And you know, in reality,
- 33:17Speaker 1: Marina is freaking eight months pregnant right about ready to
- 33:20Speaker 1: have a baby, and Oswald ain't got a job or
- 33:22Speaker 1: a pot to piss in.
- 33:23Speaker 5: They're literally talking.
- 33:24Speaker 1: About how Marina is going to have to do blood
- 33:29Speaker 1: transfusion credits, basically give blood every month for like four
- 33:37Speaker 1: years straight to pay back to pay off her hospital bill.
- 33:42Speaker 5: I mean, Jesus man, Yeah, I.
- 33:46Speaker 2: Mean, he definitely didn't have any health insurance, Leah. I mean,
- 33:49Speaker 2: but about a month ago, I met Lee Harvey Oswald
- 33:53Speaker 2: at work. I saw he was a new man, and
- 33:58Speaker 2: I walked up to him and asked him if he
- 34:00Speaker 2: was Lee. And again, this is November twenty second, Lee
- 34:04Speaker 2: Buel statement, I figured.
- 34:06Speaker 1: He your name, Lee, n I figured he must be
- 34:14Speaker 1: I like your shoes, you like my macas.
- 34:18Speaker 2: I figured he must be Lee, as my sister had
- 34:20Speaker 2: told me about him. I asked him if he would
- 34:23Speaker 2: like to ride back and forth with me, as I
- 34:26Speaker 2: knew his wife lived in Ruth Payne lived with Roupine
- 34:31Speaker 2: near my house. And he said he would, but only
- 34:34Speaker 2: on weekends, and he had an apartment of his own
- 34:38Speaker 2: in Oak Cliff. After that, every Friday evening, Lee would
- 34:44Speaker 2: ride home with me and then ride back to work
- 34:47Speaker 2: with me on Monday morning. That's implying he's staying the
- 34:51Speaker 2: whole weekend, right right, He has only rode home from
- 34:57Speaker 2: work with me on Fridays. But yeah, Saturday morning, Thursday,
- 35:01Speaker 2: November twenty one, sixty three, Lee told me that he
- 35:05Speaker 2: wanted to ride home with me that evening. I was surprised,
- 35:08Speaker 2: and I asked him if he was going to if
- 35:14Speaker 2: he was going home with me Friday also, and he
- 35:16Speaker 2: goes no, Which is interesting when we talk about Lee's
- 35:23Speaker 2: possible plans to go to Cuba again, this is the
- 35:25Speaker 2: same day. This is before anyone can kind of coerce
- 35:30Speaker 2: buel Oh, this.
- 35:31Speaker 1: Is for me, Joe. This is red flag number one. Okay,
- 35:35Speaker 1: like you said, this is an Affidavid. This is not
- 35:37Speaker 1: a questioning by police This is not a questioning.
- 35:40Speaker 5: By the FBI.
- 35:41Speaker 1: This is a freely given statement by Buell Fraser. Okay,
- 35:46Speaker 1: he's not asked any questions. He's they ask him or
- 35:50Speaker 1: they basically tell him, you know, tell us what your
- 35:53Speaker 1: story is, basically, And the fact that he decides to
- 35:57Speaker 1: make it a very important point of this affid David
- 36:00Speaker 1: to state that Lee would only ride home with me
- 36:02Speaker 1: on the weekends and then ride back with me on
- 36:05Speaker 1: Monday mornings and then but yesterday morning's kind of weird.
- 36:10Speaker 5: On Thursday, he asked me if he could.
- 36:11Speaker 1: Ride home with me and then said he wasn't gonna
- 36:13Speaker 1: need a ride on Friday, and blah blah blah, blah blah.
- 36:18Speaker 1: He also mentions curtain rods here, free of his own accord,
- 36:22Speaker 1: right right.
- 36:23Speaker 2: He told me that he was going home to get
- 36:25Speaker 2: some curtain rods. Thursday afternoon, Lee road to Irving with
- 36:29Speaker 2: me to Ruth Payne's house, where his wife is staying.
- 36:33Speaker 2: I let him out of my car in front of
- 36:35Speaker 2: Ruth's house. Then I went on this morning, Friday, November
- 36:39Speaker 2: twenty second, I got up between six and six thirty
- 36:45Speaker 2: am and got ready to go to work. And then
- 36:48Speaker 2: and then sit down to eat breakfast around seven to
- 36:53Speaker 2: fifteen am. Me, my mother, and my two little nieces
- 36:57Speaker 2: were also at the table, and my sister was at
- 37:04Speaker 2: the sink and his sister like made him as lunch. Yes,
- 37:12Speaker 2: my mother looked up and said, who is that looking
- 37:15Speaker 2: in the window?
- 37:18Speaker 5: Who's that creep?
- 37:20Speaker 2: I looked up and said, that's Lee.
- 37:24Speaker 1: Don't pay him no mind.
- 37:27Speaker 2: I can't wait for this.
- 37:29Speaker 1: He's a little crazy in the head here.
- 37:31Speaker 2: I can't wait for this back and forth when we
- 37:33Speaker 2: get to this warrant commission. I got up and finished
- 37:37Speaker 2: getting ready and got my lunch and went back to
- 37:39Speaker 2: the door and met Lee at the car port. We then,
- 37:42Speaker 2: I guess, I mean it's driveway right. He then walked
- 37:45Speaker 2: to as.
- 37:46Speaker 5: A car port.
- 37:48Speaker 1: It's like a garage with no walls. Joe, okay, it
- 37:52Speaker 1: has like a roof, but no walls. I see, Okay,
- 37:57Speaker 1: we can call a carport.
- 37:58Speaker 2: We don't have those.
- 38:00Speaker 1: Yes, they're very very fluid down here in the South.
- 38:05Speaker 1: Before I got in the car, I glanced it lost
- 38:08Speaker 1: a lot of money, bro.
- 38:09Speaker 2: That's true. Garages, yeah, garage doors. I glanced in the
- 38:13Speaker 2: back seat and saw a big sack. I'm sure there's
- 38:18Speaker 2: a joke in there. We're gonna be mature about this
- 38:22Speaker 2: right now.
- 38:22Speaker 1: Allegedly he would have made a big sack he got back.
- 38:27Speaker 2: Maybe not. It must have been about two inches to
- 38:31Speaker 2: two feet long. I believe that is.
- 38:34Speaker 5: Yes, that's two feet long.
- 38:35Speaker 2: And at the top of the sack.
- 38:39Speaker 5: The skin will throwd a fold up a little bit.
- 38:41Speaker 1: Out there.
- 38:42Speaker 2: It was set of folded up, and we and the
- 38:45Speaker 2: rest of this sack had been kind of folded under.
- 38:50Speaker 2: He asked Lee what was in the sack, and he
- 38:53Speaker 2: said cutain rods. And I remember that he had told
- 38:56Speaker 2: me the day before that he was going to bring
- 38:58Speaker 2: some curtain rods. He drove to work the same way
- 39:02Speaker 2: that I usually go. We came into town on Stemons
- 39:06Speaker 2: Freeway to Maine and Maine to Record, and then on
- 39:12Speaker 2: across to McKinney and by the warehouse to the parking lot.
- 39:19Speaker 2: I parked the car and sit there a while and
- 39:24Speaker 2: run the Mota to charge the battery. You old man.
- 39:31Speaker 6: Uh.
- 39:32Speaker 2: And while I was doing that, Lee got out, opened
- 39:35Speaker 2: the back door and got the package out of the
- 39:37Speaker 2: back seat and walked behind the car. Then I got
- 39:40Speaker 2: out of the car and started walking towards the building.
- 39:44Speaker 2: Where I work.
- 39:47Speaker 1: So that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
- 39:53Speaker 2: Yeah, this is I believe. Leave the last page. I
- 39:57Speaker 2: noticed that Lee had the package in his right hand
- 40:00Speaker 2: under his arm, and the package was straight up and
- 40:03Speaker 2: down and he had his arm down and you could
- 40:06Speaker 2: not see much of the package. When we started walking,
- 40:10Speaker 2: Lee was just a few feet ahead of me, but
- 40:12Speaker 2: he kept walking faster than me and finally got way
- 40:17Speaker 2: ahead of me. And who was it that said when
- 40:23Speaker 2: Lee came into the building? Rob that said, where's your DRIVERA?
- 40:28Speaker 1: Well, we'll get there, okay, okay.
- 40:31Speaker 5: I saw you to say. Who said they saw him
- 40:33Speaker 5: come in with no package? That would be that?
- 40:35Speaker 3: Then?
- 40:37Speaker 2: Was that Shelley?
- 40:38Speaker 1: No? That was the half a half a reread Jack Doherty. Oh.
- 40:45Speaker 2: I saw him go into the back door the loading
- 40:50Speaker 2: dock of the building that we work in, and he
- 40:52Speaker 2: still had the package under his arm. I did not
- 40:54Speaker 2: see him anymore for about thirty minutes, and then we
- 40:57Speaker 2: were both working. Lee did not carry his lunch. He
- 41:00Speaker 2: told me this morning he was going to buy his
- 41:03Speaker 2: lunch today, which is weird because I don't feel like
- 41:09Speaker 2: Lee would buy his lunch, right.
- 41:10Speaker 1: He was very frugal, right, especially if you can steal
- 41:14Speaker 1: food from Ruth Payne's house and not have to pay
- 41:16Speaker 1: for it.
- 41:17Speaker 2: Yeah, or let Lenny may make him a sandwich.
- 41:23Speaker 1: Hey, why oh Lenny wants to cook a boy another egg.
- 41:28Speaker 2: I was standing on the front steps of the building
- 41:30Speaker 2: when the parade came by, and I watched the prey
- 41:33Speaker 2: go by. And this is important, guys, all jokes aside.
- 41:36Speaker 2: After President Kennedy had got out of my sight, I
- 41:39Speaker 2: heard three shots. I stood there. Then people started running by,
- 41:44Speaker 2: and I turned and went back in the building and
- 41:47Speaker 2: got my lunch and eat it.
- 41:49Speaker 1: Okay.
- 41:50Speaker 2: Now, when we got to his sixth floor.
- 41:56Speaker 1: Interview, this is again, this is red flag number two
- 42:01Speaker 1: because he's laying He's already laid the groundwork for supposedly
- 42:06Speaker 1: bringing out his wall to work. Now he's laying the
- 42:08Speaker 1: groundwork for the mysterious package. Okay.
- 42:12Speaker 5: He basically says it was about.
- 42:15Speaker 1: Two feet long, which is of course not long enough
- 42:18Speaker 1: to hold a rifle, not even broke down rifle.
- 42:21Speaker 5: And it he basically states in here that it was
- 42:25Speaker 5: not his lunch.
- 42:26Speaker 1: So it wasn't his lunch in a bag, okay. And
- 42:30Speaker 1: he says Lee told him that it was curtain rods, okay, whatever,
- 42:36Speaker 1: and then he says, you know he's standing there, he
- 42:39Speaker 1: watches Kennedy get his head blown off and decides to
- 42:42Speaker 1: go back in the building and eat his lunch.
- 42:44Speaker 5: Who the fuck does that right?
- 42:46Speaker 2: How could you eat after an instagram?
- 42:49Speaker 4: That?
- 42:49Speaker 2: And he's gonna tell a different story when we get
- 42:52Speaker 2: to his interview on the sixth floor museum, where he goes,
- 42:55Speaker 2: I followed Shelley and love Lady to the knoll, and
- 43:00Speaker 2: a bunch of things are added here. I did not
- 43:03Speaker 2: see Lee anymore after eleven pm today, and at that
- 43:07Speaker 2: time we were both working and we were on the
- 43:10Speaker 2: first floor. Signed Wesley Fraser.
- 43:16Speaker 1: Yes he was going by Wesley back then, that bull
- 43:19Speaker 1: Yes your years.
- 43:20Speaker 2: Wesley is his middle name, I believe, yes.
- 43:22Speaker 1: Yeah, what's cooler than Buelly is my middle name as well?
- 43:28Speaker 2: So wait, your middle name is Wesley? Oh my god,
- 43:34Speaker 2: that's so funny. I did not know that. See learned
- 43:39Speaker 2: something new every day, so so listen. Buell was interviewed
- 43:49Speaker 2: by the Word Commission twice. I am going to only
- 43:53Speaker 2: go over his first time testimony, and I feel like
- 43:59Speaker 2: Robert's best we leave his part two, when they came
- 44:04Speaker 2: to Dallas for members only next week, just because there's
- 44:08Speaker 2: just so much to go over.
- 44:09Speaker 1: Yeah, there's a lot, there's a lot parts out.
- 44:13Speaker 2: So you got Ford, you got or Warren, you got
- 44:17Speaker 2: other senators. You got jay Lee Rankin, you got Joseph Ball,
- 44:21Speaker 2: you got Beelen Jenner, Demorn Schul's favorite person. Everyone. I go,
- 44:30Speaker 2: so listen, this is funny. I just want this doesn't
- 44:32Speaker 2: really have any relevance. I go by Wesley. All right,
- 44:36Speaker 2: all right, well, Wesley, what is your age?
- 44:42Speaker 5: You're playing both parts? Or what are we doing here?
- 44:44Speaker 2: No, you're playing Fraser A.
- 44:46Speaker 5: Well you were playing in first All right, well I
- 44:51Speaker 5: go by Wesley.
- 44:53Speaker 2: Well, Wesley, what is your age?
- 44:56Speaker 1: Sir?
- 44:57Speaker 2: What is your age?
- 44:59Speaker 1: Nineteen?
- 45:00Speaker 2: Again, so funny. He can't even like answer like the
- 45:04Speaker 2: first basic question, right, where do you live?
- 45:09Speaker 1: Well, for the time being, I'm living in Irving now.
- 45:18Speaker 2: Irving, Texas, yes, sir. And again I'm jumping around here because.
- 45:26Speaker 1: This is like so long.
- 45:28Speaker 5: Let's see.
- 45:29Speaker 1: When I got in the car, I have a kind
- 45:32Speaker 1: of habit of glancing over my shoulder, you know, And
- 45:35Speaker 1: so at that time I noticed that there was a
- 45:37Speaker 1: package laying on the back seat. I didn't pay too
- 45:40Speaker 1: much attention and I said, what's the package lead? And
- 45:44Speaker 1: he said curtain rise And I said, oh yeah, you
- 45:48Speaker 1: told me you was going to bring some today. That
- 45:51Speaker 1: is the reason, the main reason he was going over
- 45:54Speaker 1: there that Thursday afternoon when he was to bring back
- 45:57Speaker 1: some curtain rides. So I didn't think any more bad
- 45:59Speaker 1: when he told me that.
- 46:02Speaker 2: What did the package look like?
- 46:04Speaker 1: Well, I will be frank with you, I would just
- 46:08Speaker 1: it's just you know, the kind you get out of
- 46:10Speaker 1: the grocery store, just more or less out of a package.
- 46:14Speaker 1: You've seen some of these brown paper sacks and you
- 46:16Speaker 1: can obtain from most stores or some varieties. But it
- 46:21Speaker 1: was a package. It's just about two feet long.
- 46:24Speaker 2: It was what part of the back seat was it in?
- 46:29Speaker 5: It was in his side, over on his side, in
- 46:32Speaker 5: the far back.
- 46:34Speaker 2: How much of that back seat? How much space did
- 46:37Speaker 2: it take up?
- 46:39Speaker 1: Well, dumb motherfucker, considering, I said it was two feet long.
- 46:42Speaker 1: It took up around two feet of the seat.
- 46:47Speaker 2: Did you eat your lunch? And again I'm skipping.
- 46:49Speaker 1: Here, No, sir, Right then, I didn't, I say, you know,
- 46:54Speaker 1: he was supposed to come by during our lunch hour,
- 46:57Speaker 1: so you don't give very many chances to see the
- 46:59Speaker 1: President of the United States, and being an old Texas
- 47:02Speaker 1: boy and he never having been down to Texas very much,
- 47:05Speaker 1: I went out there to see him, and just like
- 47:08Speaker 1: everybody else was, I was standing on the steps there,
- 47:11Speaker 1: and I watched for the parade to come by, and
- 47:13Speaker 1: so I did, and I stood there until he came by.
- 47:18Speaker 2: So you went out there after you quit work right
- 47:23Speaker 2: for lunch about twelve o'clock, right, and you had to
- 47:28Speaker 2: eat your launch up at that time. No, did you
- 47:31Speaker 2: go out there with somebody?
- 47:33Speaker 5: Yes, yes, sir, I did.
- 47:35Speaker 2: Who did you go out there with?
- 47:38Speaker 1: I stayed around there, pretty close to mister Shelley and
- 47:40Speaker 1: this boy named Billy Lovelady, and just standing there people
- 47:45Speaker 1: talking and just talking about how pretty day it turned
- 47:47Speaker 1: out to be, because I told you earlier, you know,
- 47:50Speaker 1: it was an old, cloudy, misty day and it didn't
- 47:53Speaker 1: look like it was going to be a pretty day
- 47:54Speaker 1: at all.
- 47:56Speaker 2: Yeah, and they go into the weather a bunch like
- 47:59Speaker 2: for an o reason. So did you see the president
- 48:02Speaker 2: go by?
- 48:03Speaker 1: Yes, yes, sir.
- 48:04Speaker 2: I did did you hear anything?
- 48:06Speaker 1: Well, I say, I say, just right after he went by,
- 48:10Speaker 1: he hadn't hardly got by. I heard a sound and
- 48:14Speaker 1: if you've ever been around these motorcycles, you know how
- 48:17Speaker 1: they backfire. And so I thought one of the motorcycles
- 48:20Speaker 1: at backfired because right before his car came down. Now
- 48:24Speaker 1: there were several of these motorcycle police man's and they
- 48:27Speaker 1: took off down towards the underpass down there, and so
- 48:29Speaker 1: I thought, you know, that one of them.
- 48:31Speaker 5: Motorcycles is backfire.
- 48:33Speaker 1: But it wasn't. Just a few seconds, you know, I
- 48:35Speaker 1: heard two more the same type, you know it sounds.
- 48:38Speaker 1: And by that time people was just a running everywhere,
- 48:41Speaker 1: falling down and screaming and shit, And naturally then I
- 48:44Speaker 1: knew something was wrong. And so I came to the
- 48:47Speaker 1: conclusion that somebody else, somebody was shooting at somebody, and
- 48:52Speaker 1: I figured it was him.
- 48:55Speaker 2: You figured it was who.
- 48:57Speaker 1: I figured it was somebody shooting at President Kennedy because
- 49:02Speaker 1: people were running and hollering. So I just stood still.
- 49:06Speaker 1: I've always been taught when something like that happens or
- 49:09Speaker 1: anywhere as far as that is, always best to just
- 49:11Speaker 1: stand still, because if you run, it makes you look guilty.
- 49:14Speaker 1: Sure enough, that's.
- 49:17Speaker 2: An interesting comment. Now, then, did you have any impression
- 49:24Speaker 2: at that time as to the direction of which the
- 49:28Speaker 2: sound came.
- 49:30Speaker 1: Well, to be frank with you, I thought it came
- 49:33Speaker 1: from down there. You know, where the underpass is. There's
- 49:38Speaker 1: a series, quite a few number of them railroad tracks.
- 49:41Speaker 1: They're running together. And from where I was standing, it
- 49:44Speaker 1: sounded like something I can't read because it's cut off
- 49:47Speaker 1: at the body.
- 49:48Speaker 2: Like it was coming from the railroad tracks down there.
- 49:53Speaker 2: All right, sorry, but yeah, interesting that that's where you know.
- 49:58Speaker 2: Fraser's not saying. I thought it came from above me,
- 50:02Speaker 2: right standing up the steps. He like most people, thought
- 50:07Speaker 2: it was coming from the knoll and in the direction
- 50:11Speaker 2: of the underpats. Mister Frazier.
- 50:18Speaker 1: Just you hang in there, Randy. We haven't even gotten
- 50:23Speaker 1: started yet, brother, brother. Well we left, you know, after
- 50:31Speaker 1: we stood and talked with some big strong guys there.
- 50:34Speaker 5: Some of them were eating and some of them had didn't.
- 50:37Speaker 1: Some of them had sandwiches in their hands, so naturally
- 50:41Speaker 1: I felt like eating when I looked at them sandwiches
- 50:43Speaker 1: they was holding, and I walked around the bend down
- 50:47Speaker 1: steps right there, got your lunch, damn right, came back up, No, sir,
- 50:54Speaker 1: I didn't come back up, SHD. I was sitting down
- 50:57Speaker 1: there eating my lunch all by myself in the dark
- 50:59Speaker 1: and the base. I looked at my watch and didn't
- 51:01Speaker 1: have but ten minutes, so naturally I ate faster than normal.
- 51:05Speaker 1: So I was eating a couple of sandwiches. I eate
- 51:07Speaker 1: an apple or something. I came right back up and
- 51:09Speaker 1: the guys, the people who worked there, standing all around
- 51:11Speaker 1: first floor. My tummyes all full and shit, some of
- 51:14Speaker 1: them eating their lunches and others merely talking, and I'm
- 51:16Speaker 1: just standing there like, damn, I'm stuffed as a tick.
- 51:21Speaker 2: You never went back to work, no.
- 51:23Speaker 1: Said, we didn't. I don't know if I could have
- 51:25Speaker 1: done anymore that worked that day.
- 51:27Speaker 2: You stayed there on the job until you were told
- 51:29Speaker 2: to go home.
- 51:30Speaker 5: Yes, sir.
- 51:31Speaker 2: What time do they tell you to go home?
- 51:34Speaker 1: It was between one and two day sometime roughly. I
- 51:36Speaker 1: don't know.
- 51:41Speaker 2: Did any other people who were standing there with you
- 51:44Speaker 2: express any opinion as to where they thought the sounds
- 51:48Speaker 2: came from?
- 51:49Speaker 1: Objection here saying, well, I say, after we found out
- 51:55Speaker 1: it was shots, I see some of the other people
- 51:57Speaker 1: down there when they were staying there.
- 51:59Speaker 5: I said that it was what it was.
- 52:02Speaker 1: Down right back from it, like where we were standing.
- 52:05Speaker 1: If we've been staying somewhere else you might have gotten
- 52:08Speaker 1: a different opinion. But where we were standing on the steps,
- 52:11Speaker 1: they it sounds like back down to the right, you know, yes, yeah.
- 52:16Speaker 2: Right, So that's where I'm going to stop you. If
- 52:19Speaker 2: you're looking out the front steps of the TSBD where
- 52:24Speaker 2: Fraser was standing, to the right is the knoll and
- 52:28Speaker 2: the underpass. So that's what he is describing here, mister bowl.
- 52:35Speaker 2: Here's Commission Exhibit three forty seven, forty seven. It is
- 52:39Speaker 2: an aerial photograph and it shows the TSBD building.
- 52:44Speaker 5: I know you can't see me right now by my
- 52:46Speaker 5: eyes just rolled.
- 52:47Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I figured I could feel it.
- 52:50Speaker 1: Well, right, here's the depository building here, that is right, sir.
- 52:54Speaker 2: Here's the parkway, yeah right, here's the overpass here. Can
- 52:59Speaker 2: you show us on them app where you think? Well
- 53:02Speaker 2: that map? Can you? And the map indicate the general
- 53:05Speaker 2: direction from what you thought the sounds came.
- 53:07Speaker 1: From, yes, sir, because we were standing right here.
- 53:15Speaker 2: Then he goes on, don't market up right now, which
- 53:18Speaker 2: is interesting.
- 53:19Speaker 1: Right, But what I'm saying, what I'm trying to say
- 53:22Speaker 1: is that we were standing down there and then back
- 53:24Speaker 1: over here, and this over here is more or less
- 53:27Speaker 1: and no and you can look over there and see this,
- 53:29Speaker 1: you know, you see this for this left line that
- 53:31Speaker 1: curved around. Here's the ones we take to come out
- 53:34Speaker 1: on the Stems Expressway. And this is a high noll
- 53:38Speaker 1: up here which runs where the tracks are. From standing there,
- 53:41Speaker 1: it sounded like it came from this general area over here.
- 53:45Speaker 2: Yeah, and then they asked him to market.
- 53:47Speaker 1: And you know he marks the knoll blah blah.
- 53:52Speaker 2: But okay, so let me stop sharing this and Rob,
- 53:57Speaker 2: do you want before we get into uh, hold on,
- 54:01Speaker 2: let me remove myself. Let's get into what Buele says
- 54:06Speaker 2: a couple of years ago, because it changes and then
- 54:12Speaker 2: and then we'll get into you h remove, no cancel,
- 54:28Speaker 2: I'm trying to add it to the scene here, all right.
- 54:50Speaker 2: So this is Buell.
- 54:54Speaker 5: Five years ago, Yes, bray.
- 55:00Speaker 2: Let's see what he has to say here on me
- 55:03Speaker 2: in large thus no oppon intended.
- 55:07Speaker 3: And to tell you a little side story. One day
- 55:11Speaker 3: he was talking and the gods were laughing, and he
- 55:15Speaker 3: used a sentence and there's a word in the sense
- 55:18Speaker 3: I didn't understand.
- 55:19Speaker 4: I said, well, what is that? What does that mean? Well,
- 55:24Speaker 4: been a school books positive.
- 55:26Speaker 3: We had a lot of dictionaries so I go over
- 55:30Speaker 3: to the UH Benz and I put out a dictionary
- 55:33Speaker 3: and I found a word, and I was reading the definition,
- 55:36Speaker 3: and then I applied the definition of the word to
- 55:40Speaker 3: the sentence he used. And behold, he caught me reading
- 55:46Speaker 3: in the dictionary. He said, what are you doing. I said, well,
- 55:49Speaker 3: I'm looking up that word you use as a sentence.
- 55:52Speaker 3: I said, I wasn't familiar about and I didn't know
- 55:56Speaker 3: exactly what it meant. But I said, now understand. And
- 55:59Speaker 3: then that's when he come back to me and about this,
- 56:02Speaker 3: we'll standing about this far apart our faces. He says,
- 56:05Speaker 3: you're very different. I said, I don't know about that.
- 56:10Speaker 3: He said, well, you don't make fun of me. He said,
- 56:13Speaker 3: you try to understand. You're nice, you're kind, And I said, well,
- 56:17Speaker 3: thank you. But no, he didn't get along very well
- 56:22Speaker 3: with the UH the other employees. There wasn't any hard
- 56:28Speaker 3: feelings that he just didn't He just didn't fit in.
- 56:33Speaker 6: Now, it wasn't long before you started giving Oswald a
- 56:37Speaker 6: ride to Irving. Now Oswald and his wife were separated.
- 56:40Speaker 6: At that time, she was living with Ruth Payne and Irving.
- 56:43Speaker 6: Oswald had a room over here on Beckley and oak Cliff, so.
- 56:47Speaker 2: On these I don't know the someone of the sixth
- 56:50Speaker 2: floor museum all over the place. Yeah, this is like
- 56:55Speaker 2: the funnier part. We're going to get into the details
- 56:58Speaker 2: and the next two timestamps.
- 57:01Speaker 6: Trips going to and from on leaving Friday, bringing him
- 57:04Speaker 6: back on Monday. What would you guys talk about?
- 57:08Speaker 3: Well, the number one thing that I could get Lead
- 57:11Speaker 3: to talk about was his child, Rena. They had one child,
- 57:17Speaker 3: and Rena was pregnant with her second child, and I
- 57:23Speaker 3: could get more out of him talking about his daughter.
- 57:30Speaker 3: He didn't We didn't talk about sports or what the
- 57:34Speaker 3: latest number one hit on the.
- 57:38Speaker 4: Radio. Was nothing like that. His strictly business.
- 57:44Speaker 6: And contrary to some of the accounts that are out there,
- 57:47Speaker 6: you never took Lead to a rifle range or went
- 57:50Speaker 6: out to eat with him or anything like that.
- 57:53Speaker 4: That is true.
- 57:53Speaker 3: We never when we would uh when we would be
- 57:57Speaker 3: coming home on Friday afternoon, And it still is in America.
- 58:01Speaker 3: A lot of times when guys work together, sometimes they'll
- 58:04Speaker 3: stop off, they will have a burger and a beer,
- 58:06Speaker 3: and they'll talk about what went on that week or
- 58:09Speaker 3: what they're may be going on next week. We never
- 58:12Speaker 3: did any of that and parts the rifle range. We
- 58:18Speaker 3: never went to the rifle range. The only way.
- 58:20Speaker 4: The only place we would go.
- 58:22Speaker 3: Together was out to Irving and then back to tax
- 58:28Speaker 3: the school books and das here the same building you're
- 58:32Speaker 3: in here.
- 58:34Speaker 6: Now. Lee famously deviated from his typical Friday Monday routine
- 58:39Speaker 6: and asked you for a ride on Thursday, November twenty first,
- 58:43Speaker 6: so he could spend the night in Irving.
- 58:46Speaker 4: Yes, that is correct, he did.
- 58:49Speaker 3: He came up to me during the day, I think
- 58:52Speaker 3: it was sometimes a little after lunch, and he said,
- 58:56Speaker 3: can I ride home with you today? I said sure,
- 58:59Speaker 3: I said, I told you could write any day. Well,
- 59:03Speaker 3: a short time later, I was reading, I was fill
- 59:06Speaker 3: in order and I looked at the date on the invoice.
- 59:09Speaker 3: I said, because they's not Friday, there's Thursday. So the
- 59:13Speaker 3: next time I ran into him a little while later,
- 59:15Speaker 3: I said, I said hey, I said, are you a
- 59:18Speaker 3: word of This is not Friday, this is Thursday. He
- 59:22Speaker 3: said yes, he said I know that, And he said,
- 59:25Speaker 3: you told me I could always ride out with you
- 59:27Speaker 3: when I needed to ride.
- 59:28Speaker 4: I said, that is correct.
- 59:30Speaker 3: So he said that he'd be riding home with me
- 59:35Speaker 3: that that afternoon, and the reason he wanted to ride home.
- 59:39Speaker 3: He told me that Marina had made him some curtains
- 59:45Speaker 3: for his room at the rooming house, and that he
- 59:50Speaker 3: was going out to argue to get some curtain rods
- 59:54Speaker 3: that Miss Payne had. So I said, okay, I ain't
- 59:58Speaker 3: thinking anything about it now. I never had been to
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: the rooming house. I did not know what I'm fixing
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: to tell you. He already had curtains in his room,
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: but I did not know that.
- 1:00:11Speaker 6: The curtain rides, of course, are very important to the
- 1:00:13Speaker 6: next part of the story. The next morning, you and
- 1:00:16Speaker 6: your sister Lenny may Randall observe Lee with a package.
- 1:00:20Speaker 6: Tell me about that package.
- 1:00:22Speaker 3: Well, my sister was at they hitching sink and she
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: was fixing my lunch. I took my lunch every day,
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: and so she looked up and she saw Lee walking
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: across the street and he had a package with him. Well,
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: he crosses the street, puts the package on the passenger's
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: side in the back seat of my car, which is
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: a four door Shivy, and then he comes around and
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: he looks in the window. So, my three little nieces
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: and I were eating breakfast.
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: My mother was there.
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: She looks up and she says, Lee looking in the
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: window was she would startled, and she says, who's that
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: man looking in the window? Being a typical teenage kid,
- 1:01:12Speaker 3: I said where because we had more than one window
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: one of the house. They are KidSing in the den area.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: So she says, all right, I'm gonna go with the
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: sink there, Pase do a little bit further.
- 1:01:30Speaker 3: Well, mister Shelly and Billy had gone down toward the
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: Triple Underpass to try to find out what actually had happened. Uh,
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: there was a tremendous amount of people that day on
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: the sidewalk in the suwalkoty is pretty wide, but I
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: mean they were just like, oh should express like sardines
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: and a can that wasn't even room. I mean if
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: someone passed out, they were never never, never hit the concrete.
- 1:02:00Speaker 4: So many people.
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: So they had gone down to see if they could
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: find out what it actually was going on. Well, I
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: stood on the steps for a few short time and
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: then I said, well, I'm won't go to see if
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: I can find Billy and mister Shelley. So I go
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: start down that way and out in front of this
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: building here used to be angle parking, and so I
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: was somewhere down in the area of the angle parking there.
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: Okay, I'm gonna stop it. There. Rob was any of
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: this in his description of his first warrant commission in
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: testimony that he followed Shelley and lovely there.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: No, no, so this is in his Affidavid right, right,
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: he went down to eat.
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: He was He saw other people with sandwiches and middle.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: He just saw Tnnedy's head blown off and reminded him
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: of a watermelon.
- 1:03:07Speaker 5: He got a little hungry. Oh that's big Texas watermelons.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: Joe, thanks and juicy.
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: Right, And I was walking along and I looked up
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: and there was a man with a rifle. Oh, I
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: was terrified. Stop it, tee. What actually happened there? Fifty
- 1:03:29Speaker 3: eight years ago. Today, that's a crime of the century.
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: He's never been solved.
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: So now he sees someone with a rifle on the knoll.
- 1:03:41Speaker 5: No, it's not it's not in the know. It's in
- 1:03:43Speaker 5: the trunk of a car.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: Okay, I thought it was a school looked depository.
- 1:03:50Speaker 5: Okay, Oh.
- 1:03:53Speaker 4: I saw this man.
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: His man was not a policeman, He was not an attective.
- 1:03:58Speaker 3: If he could have saved the top of clothing he
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: woke he was wearing that day. This guy was a
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: professional all the way down to his shoes. His shoes
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: probably cost several hundred dollars, and back then in nineteen
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: sixty three, not many people wore shoes or maybe clothes.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: I'm sorry, they was made out of baby dolphin living.
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: I pay attention to a man's shoes.
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: Round was such much greater quality. I talked to my
- 1:04:35Speaker 3: friend Jim level about that. Jim Levelle had a new
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: suit he wore the day they transported, was transporting leave
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: from the shitty jail, the headquarters down to the city jail.
- 1:04:50Speaker 4: Here.
- 1:04:50Speaker 6: That suit is downstairs on display on the sixth floor
- 1:04:53Speaker 6: right now.
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: Yeah, So he and I talked about clothing and I
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: told him, I said, you know, that's something that I
- 1:05:01Speaker 3: always admired, was clothing. But the attire this man wore,
- 1:05:11Speaker 3: starting off with his fedora, you know, telling him what
- 1:05:15Speaker 3: the hat cost his clothing, he was immacly. This guy
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: was a pro. He looked at me and the look
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: he had on his face was a cold look. He
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: wasn't scared. He knew exactly what he was doing, and
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: I was so scared. He probably said I could remember
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: my name and at the time, I probably couldn't have.
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: But he puts the rifle in the back seat of
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: his car. His park out at the Angle parking and
- 1:05:50Speaker 3: he closes the trunk and goes to open the door
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: on his car. I turned around and I walked slowly
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: back toward the front entrance of the Texas School Buck Depository.
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: I was so scared what I had witnessed that day.
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: In that time, I did see it. But if you
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: hadn't asked me ten minutes later, I would tell you
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: I didn't see anything. It was locked in my mind.
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: I've read about this where people had witnessed things it
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: was so frightened into them and just locked in to
- 1:06:27Speaker 3: their mind, and that's exactly what happened to me. And
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: I walked back slowly toward the front steps of the
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: Texas School Buck Depository, but I didn't go up the step.
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: I went to the corner of Houston and M Street,
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: and it was a couple of people there and we
- 1:06:49Speaker 3: started to talk about what was going on.
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: And then I turned to my left and walking.
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: He comes off the dock, the loading dock, or hear
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: of this building was leading Harvey offul walking alongside the
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: building very patiently, not in a hurry, and I thought
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: he was going to walk all the way up to
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: where I was, but he did not. He stopped probably
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: ten feet or so before he went diagonally across, got
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: in the crosswalk across Houston, and once he got cross
- 1:07:34Speaker 3: Shuston Street, and then he crossed Elm Street, and halfway
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: across Elm, somebody said something to me, and I turned
- 1:07:43Speaker 3: to see who was talking to me, because I did
- 1:07:47Speaker 3: not recognize the voice. And when I look back, I
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: had lost Lee in the crowd.
- 1:07:54Speaker 6: Now, these are obviously some very extraordinary memories, and you're
- 1:07:59Speaker 6: well aware that your Affidavid from that day your Warren
- 1:08:02Speaker 6: Commission testimony, you discuss seeing the parade pass and then
- 1:08:06Speaker 6: immediately going downstairs to the basement to have your lunch. So,
- 1:08:10Speaker 6: I mean, these additions to your story have come under
- 1:08:13Speaker 6: some scrutiny by assassination researchers. You mentioned you were scared,
- 1:08:18Speaker 6: and I know you right about this in some detail
- 1:08:19Speaker 6: in the book, but I mean give us a sense
- 1:08:21Speaker 6: you were afraid for yourself and afraid for your family
- 1:08:24Speaker 6: to reveal some of this information.
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, So obviously none of this was in
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: his same day Affidavid or in his Warrent Commission Part one.
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: We'll get to part two. I don't think any of
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: it was in part two either, but oof, I don't
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: think he left the area of the steps, really, I
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: don't think he followed Shelley and love Lady. I do
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: believe Shelley and love Lady went to go invest investigate
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: the null area. There's no indication that mule followed them
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: or went into the back and the loading dock and
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: saw Lee. Because again they're asking Lee in the dpd
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: Affid David about Lee. Literally none of this came up,
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: and the excuse I was scared just doesn't.
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: Pass with me. Yeah, at least not about that. Now
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: when it comes to possibly being implicated in the murder
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: as an accomplice, that changes the narrative a little bit
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: and probably scared the hell out of him.
- 1:09:42Speaker 5: Right, So let's get there, all right.
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: I have one more timestamped the I'm going to hand
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: it over to you.
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: Okay, let's see.
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: Forty seven twenty nine. I could hear your eye roll
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: from here even though I can't see you.
- 1:10:15Speaker 5: Trust me, TUPSI. You don't want that. His colmb over
- 1:10:19Speaker 5: is immaculate.
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: Yeah, he does have good hair. Someone mentioned that earlier.
- 1:10:38Speaker 5: He drove.
- 1:10:39Speaker 6: You don't remember if it turned on Houston or went
- 1:10:45Speaker 6: around to No.
- 1:10:46Speaker 4: No, I was so scrat I just couldn't look.
- 1:10:49Speaker 6: Were there other people around? I mean this, for someone
- 1:10:51Speaker 6: to have this rifle out in the open where you
- 1:10:54Speaker 6: were able to just see him? Was there anyone else
- 1:10:57Speaker 6: around who was witnessing the same thing to your knowledge? No.
- 1:11:04Speaker 3: My wife for a good question, in someone else see him?
- 1:11:09Speaker 4: And my answer is I don't know. All I know
- 1:11:12Speaker 4: was just he and I there at the.
- 1:11:14Speaker 6: Car Boos when you were witnessing the shooting up standing
- 1:11:20Speaker 6: on the top of the steps in the school of Depository.
- 1:11:22Speaker 6: Were you surrounded only by depository employees? Meaning did you
- 1:11:27Speaker 6: know everybody that was up there watching the parade with you?
- 1:11:30Speaker 3: No? I did not know everyone, because the only people
- 1:11:34Speaker 3: I knew that worked up in the office uh there
- 1:11:38Speaker 3: for the different publishers is someone that I had contact
- 1:11:42Speaker 3: with talking about in order now could have been someone
- 1:11:47Speaker 3: that didn't work there in the work in this building
- 1:11:52Speaker 3: Texas School deposits. That could have been I don't know.
- 1:11:56Speaker 6: Now. Of course, there's been a theory over the years
- 1:11:59Speaker 6: that Oswa was out there with you standing at the
- 1:12:01Speaker 6: top of those steps. You mentioned seeing Oswald coming down
- 1:12:04Speaker 6: from the loading dog after the assassination, which is doesn't
- 1:12:09Speaker 6: fit with the official explanation of Oswald coming out the
- 1:12:12Speaker 6: front entrance. But I mean, just to be absolutely clear,
- 1:12:15Speaker 6: since you were right there fifty eight years ago, you
- 1:12:18Speaker 6: have no memory whatsoever of seeing Oswald anywhere in that
- 1:12:21Speaker 6: area in the front part of the building where the
- 1:12:24Speaker 6: entrance was at the time of the shooting.
- 1:12:26Speaker 4: Teddy's correct. I did not see him.
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: Now now the person and the picture there of the
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: front steps of the Texas School Depoituary down on the
- 1:12:40Speaker 3: very bottom, it looks like he's holding up the wall
- 1:12:43Speaker 3: as a man named Billy Lovelady.
- 1:12:46Speaker 4: And if some people say that is Oswald.
- 1:12:49Speaker 3: If you put Billy Lovelady standing beside Lee Outwold, there's
- 1:12:53Speaker 3: no comparison. The only thing they have they compared, could
- 1:12:58Speaker 3: be compared, as they both had a high forehead.
- 1:13:03Speaker 6: Did you ever talk to Lee about his time in
- 1:13:06Speaker 6: Russia or his service in the Marine Corps?
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: No, I don't believe that.
- 1:13:13Speaker 3: Lee wasn't a talking person that I said before, and
- 1:13:20Speaker 3: I learned a lot of things about him afterwards, like
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: far as talking about what he did in Russia and
- 1:13:28Speaker 3: the Marine Corps. We never talked about anything like that.
- 1:13:32Speaker 6: This is a little bit of a personal question, but
- 1:13:34Speaker 6: it's so interesting I want to ask it. Do you
- 1:13:37Speaker 6: relive that day in your mind every day and did
- 1:13:41Speaker 6: people treat you differently after.
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: The All right, I'm gonna stop it there because I'm
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: getting along here. But yeah, the story seems to change
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: a little bit, right, Rob.
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: Yeah, And there's a whole lot of story in the middle,
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: because Joe stick to the chronological script of the podcast,
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: because you know, we jumped from the Warren Commission to
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: his most recent interview at six y four, which was
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: five years ago. But in the meantime, there's Part two
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: of the Warren Commission. There's Part two of the Warren Commission.
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: There's the clay Shaw Trial, which he did go to
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: and testify in.
- 1:14:27Speaker 5: There's also.
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: The Georgia Toole book, the Assassination Tapes that he was
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: interviewed by Georgie Old Too Old Tool four. There was
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: the HSCA, there's the Mock Trial, and not much after
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: the Mock Trial until we get to the early two thousands,
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: when we get to the first time he did his
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: living history, which I do have a short clip from.
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: Well Rob. To be fair to myself, I can't go
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: two hours on my segment alone covering all this. But
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: we well covered this on part two on Wednesday for
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: the members.
- 1:15:07Speaker 5: No, I know, but I was thinking we'd go chronologically.
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: Yeah, I know. I just wanted to show the most
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: recent just for showing of how his statements were so inconsistent.
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: And we will get into more of the details of
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: what Rob just mentioned.
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: All right, So.
- 1:15:34Speaker 5: Back sixty years.
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: Love Lady in his testimony stated that he did not
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: believe Oswald had an automobile, and he had heard that
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: he rode back and forth to work from Irving with
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: an employee named Wesley, last name unknown, who was also
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: an order filler. Love Lady was of the opinion from
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: his conversation with Wesley last name unknown, Wesley had been
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: the person who told Ozwald to see employment at the
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: school book Depository.
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: And by the way, I was gonna say, and remember,
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: Rob Buell had only started working there in mid September,
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: so love Lady might not have known all the details
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: about him at that point. Right, He wasn't working with
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: him for a.
- 1:16:19Speaker 5: Decade, right, Yeah.
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: Lovelady stated that it takes thirty seconds for the elevator
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: to go from the seventh floor down to the first floor,
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: so not very long that elevator was fucking flying back.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: Then thirty seconds to get from the seventh floor to
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: the first floor, but even less than thirty seconds to
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: get from the sixth floor to the first floor, as
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: he has timed this in the past, he says. He
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: stated there are three ways a person could leave the
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: sixth floor, by the elevator, by the stairs, or by
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: the fire escape. Lovelady said he did not observe any
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: strangers during the morning period prior to the lunch break
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: in the building at twelve noon. Now, I want to
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: show you.
- 1:17:06Speaker 5: A picture.
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: Of where Fraser parked his car that morning in relation
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: to the school book depository that has the arrow pointing
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: to it in the distance. Okay, it was a hike,
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: a freaking hike, two two hundred and fifty feet away
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: from where Fraser parks his car allegedly and makes Oswald
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: walk all that way with this giant package under his
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: arm right, which, by the way, I find hard to
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: believe because there's no road here that goes directly.
- 1:17:57Speaker 5: I mean, they had to walk.
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: They're walking through this dirt, mud pit of shit because
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: there's no like road. At that time, Houston Street did
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: not extend down past the book depository. There were railroad
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: tracks there that you could to get across the tracks.
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: You had to lay down wood for trucks to get
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: over the railroad tracks. So again, this is very far away,
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: and early that morning it was raining, it would have
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: been muddy. And you know, if you're driving a car Joe,
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: Like if I had just picked Joe up and giving
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: him a ride into work and it's raining, and I
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: knew I had to park a country mile away, I
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: would be a nice guy and drop Joe off at
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: the door because he has to carry this gigantic package
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: or two foot package.
- 1:18:54Speaker 2: With him, and I appreciate that.
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: And then I would go park my car and make
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: my way into work. Right m hm, I mean that's
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: the nice thing to do, right, That would be yeah?
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: Well maybe he did, Maybe he did.
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: Maybe he did an opto just because I'm catching up
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: of the comments here because I had my screen up,
- 1:19:19Speaker 2: would be interesting to see Frazier's handwritten AFFI David to
- 1:19:23Speaker 2: the DPD, And yes it is on the DPD website.
- 1:19:26Speaker 2: I just didn't feel like translating the cursive it is there,
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: so I'm pretty sure it's headlines up.
- 1:19:38Speaker 5: Okay, Joe, let's see here. How do I enlarge this?
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: Okay, that's what she said.
- 1:19:47Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: First up, we're gonna hear from Harold Norman, who was
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: one of Oswald's co workers at the school book Depository.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: They never asked about this during the Warren Commission shocker,
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: but they did during the HSCA. So as Investigator Maxwell's asking, Norman,
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: was Fraser the guy that drove Oswald to work? And
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: was he friendly with everybody in the place. Norman says, yeah,
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: I think Wesley got along pretty well with everybody in
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: the place. And Maxwell says, and of all the people
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: in the place, about the only one you think that
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: was friendly with Oswald was Wes. Norman says, well, I
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: would say, I guess because he rode to work with him.
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: I don't know how many times he rode to work
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: with him. Okay, And then investigator Day asks him who
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: was Oswald's best friend in the building. Norman says, I
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: don't know of him having one. I don't really They
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: asked him, what did you know the man Oswald came
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: to work with. Norman says, yes, what was his name? Fraser? Okay,
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: so Norman said the opinion that Oswald rode to work
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: with Fraser.
- 1:20:59Speaker 2: Right, And you can imagine a situation where these guys
- 1:21:04Speaker 2: were pretty much one or two months employed, that they
- 1:21:10Speaker 2: would have might have kind of came together in a sense, right,
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: like not being someone there like ten years, right, as
- 1:21:19Speaker 2: compared like they're both new employees.
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: All Right, we're gonna hear from Junior Jarman. Next, he's asked,
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: during the time he was working there, did you ever
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: see him show any type of animosity towards anybody? Jarmon says, no,
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: he was just the average fellow to me. And then
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: he said, Maxwell asked, did you associate with any particular
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: person there. Jarmon says, no one, but I can think
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: of the dude's name, the one that brings brought him
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: the work all the time, a fellow that worked with him.
- 1:21:49Speaker 5: Yeah. Well, let me ask you one thing.
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: You said you saw him sometime between eight and eight
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: thirty that morning for the first time, Wesley, No, I
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: don't even think he's here now.
- 1:22:00Speaker 5: Did they come to work there together?
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: Yes, he always brought Oswald to work, always always down
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: below a little bit. How about the fellow that worked
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: with Oswald, the guy you said usually brought him to work.
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: Did you see him the next day? I saw him
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: that same day. Okay, I'm talking about the same day
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: as the assassination. Right now, we move on to mister
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: Edward Shields, who worked at the other school book depository building,
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: the one where Fraser parked his car at, often referred
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: to as the State Building.
- 1:22:37Speaker 5: Shield says, if.
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: I'm not mistaken, I think he rode with Fraser every
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: day that he worked there, if I can recall, and
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: earlier you said that you recall that Oswald had worked
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: there for about six weeks. Yeah, he worked there six
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: weeks from mid October to the November to the assassination.
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: Day says, Now, let me back up a little bit.
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: Are you telling me that this fellas said somebody who
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: worked in the book depository, the building down on Elman
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: Houston hollered out the window and asked Fraser where was
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: his rider?
- 1:23:10Speaker 3: Mm hmm.
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: Are you talking about the morning of the assassination? I
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: think it was, mister Davis. And if I'm not mistaken,
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: I think it was. And how did you come about this? Information. Well,
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: I was down on the floor when they hollered it
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: out and said and the answer he gave him, I
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: don't know. I think he said, I dropped him off
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: at the building. Now, whoever was hollering it asked him,
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: I'm not sure, And he said, this is the morning
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: of the assassination. And somebody hollered out the window at
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: Fraser and said, where is your rider? And to your recollection?
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: Fraser says, I dropped him off at the building. Okay,
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: how about Wesley Wesley Fraser? Right, you're correct, all right,
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: he rode to work with him, Wesley Fraser. Yes, and
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: they would park their car normally, not at this other location,
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: that State building that's twenty two hundred and fifty feet
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: away from the School of Depository. Normally, he says, they
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: would park their car right on Houston Street, get out
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: and walk to the building on Elm Street and go
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: in the back.
- 1:24:14Speaker 5: Door where the loading dock is.
- 1:24:16Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, I would do that too, for the record,
- 1:24:21Speaker 2: I wouldn't walk that far.
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: Well, no, all right, to Dave the assassination. Did you
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: see Oswald come to work with Fraser?
- 1:24:28Speaker 5: No, I didn't.
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: They told me that he let him out at the building.
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: He did not come on the parking lot. You say
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: they told you who's there, well, Jarmin them and all
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: them fellas, meaning all his black friends that work there
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: at the building. All right, this is just well, can
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: you tell me a specific person? And he said, yeah,
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: I think Charles Gibbons hollered out there and asked Fraser
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: where was his rider?
- 1:24:52Speaker 5: And he told him I dropped him off at the building. Yeah,
- 1:24:56Speaker 5: that was it.
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: You say he drove him to work? You used to
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: see him in the parking lot, Yes, he came. He
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: come by the parking lot. Did he drive him to
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: work every day that you can recall or on certain days?
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: And his answer was, which I think I got cut
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: off here, but every day now?
- 1:25:16Speaker 2: Yeah, And that would make sense because listen, if say
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: Rob is driving me to work and I have a
- 1:25:25Speaker 2: package of whatever curtain rods. I don't think it was
- 1:25:30Speaker 2: a rifle, but what did you not? And it was
- 1:25:35Speaker 2: a misty, kind of cloudy, rainy morning, right, yeah, which
- 1:25:40Speaker 2: is why they wanted to have the bubble top on
- 1:25:43Speaker 2: the the limousine.
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:25:46Speaker 2: Would you not be like heyo, do you want to
- 1:25:48Speaker 2: get out here and I'll just meet.
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: You in there?
- 1:25:52Speaker 2: I think so.
- 1:25:54Speaker 5: Yeah, I hope so.
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: And now, okay, we've seen what these fellas told the
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: hsc A. And now you're gonna hear audi believe with
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: your own ears from Roy Lewis, another black employee of
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: the school Book Depository who was there on November twenty second,
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: nineteen sixty three. And let's hear what he has to say, Joe. Okay,
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: we're gonna hear it straight from the horse's mouth. Here
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: we go.
- 1:26:23Speaker 4: That was my concept.
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: And then he went in part and didn't win a part.
- 1:26:27Speaker 2: Right, That my concept, that's right.
- 1:26:29Speaker 7: But I didn't see any of it.
- 1:26:30Speaker 6: I can't say because I wasn't. He put him out
- 1:26:34Speaker 6: in the bag.
- 1:26:35Speaker 2: He's always putting back. Now you said he on route
- 1:26:37Speaker 2: with him on weekend. He wrote with him every day
- 1:26:39Speaker 2: really Munday through Friday. Really we didn't know that.
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: And he would bring him.
- 1:26:46Speaker 2: But he would own it.
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: He would let him out in the bag.
- 1:26:48Speaker 3: Th that's what's gonna k He would let him out there,
- 1:26:50Speaker 3: come in the back together, and.
- 1:26:54Speaker 5: That, folks is again.
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: Roy Lewis interviewed by Larry Rivera in a very loud
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: fucking restaurant.
- 1:27:02Speaker 5: Unfortunately, but you get the gist.
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: Roy Lewis was I believe fourteen or fifteen years old
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: when he started working at the school book Depository.
- 1:27:11Speaker 5: He lied and told him that he was older.
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: But he was very young then, but very observant, and
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: he basically corroborated what Edward Shields told the HSCA in
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: the nineteen seventies. This interview with Roy Lewis just happened
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: a couple of years ago, okay, and it's very interesting.
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: He says Fraser would bring him to work every day, right.
- 1:27:40Speaker 2: Every day, not a couple times a week, not on
- 1:27:46Speaker 2: Fridays or Thursdays, every day.
- 1:27:49Speaker 5: Because here's the deal.
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: If Fraser didn't bring Oswald to work, okay, how did
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: he get to work?
- 1:27:57Speaker 5: He didn't walk, right, it's too far to walk.
- 1:28:01Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: He wouldn't have paid for a cab, you can't.
- 1:28:07Speaker 2: He would not have.
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: No, he would have likely ridden a bus. Right.
- 1:28:12Speaker 2: But do we have any records of him riding a
- 1:28:15Speaker 2: bus to work every day?
- 1:28:16Speaker 5: Rop We do not.
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: We also do not have any record of the bus
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: driver who picked up the accused assassin of the president
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: and had him on his bus every day of the
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: week for six weeks straight. We don't have the bus
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: riding regulars. People ride the bus to work every day
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: at the same time with the same people. We don't
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: have any testimony from anybody that supposedly rode or two
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: work or from work on the same bus as the
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: accused assassin of the president for six weeks prior to
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: the assassination. You'd think some you know, chatty Cathy would
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: be all over that. Oh my god, I can't he
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: used to ask me from my papers, you know, if
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: I was done reading it, you know, or something like
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: this guy creeped me out. You know, you could just
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: sit here and look at me, and you know there'd
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: be something. Okay, there'd be something. So back to back
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: at it like a jack rabbit.
- 1:29:25Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: Let's see.
- 1:29:30Speaker 5: All right again.
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: This is commissioned Exhibit three sixty one. This is an
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: overview of supposedly where Fraser parked his car down here
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: at the bottom in the red circle, okay, right, and
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: where he would have had to walk to get to
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: the building on Elm Street, Okay, which is the red circle.
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: Here at the top. Now you can see Houston Street
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: as it comes down beside the book depository. Doesn't continue,
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: it ends, which is exactly how it did in nineteen
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: sixty three. It ended at the train tracks back there again.
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: Walking distance two thousand, two hundred and fifty feet.
- 1:30:13Speaker 5: Now, how far? How many feet is a mile?
- 1:30:15Speaker 2: Joe?
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: Ohy, they.
- 1:30:20Speaker 2: How many feet is a mile? Shit? I don't fucking know.
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: A lot.
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: Let's see, uh three thousand something.
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: Well, it's fifty two hundred and eighty feet. Oh, basically
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: half half a mile, Okay. Now, if you're walking, you
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: can basically walk a mile in about twelve minutes. So
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: to walk from this car through the mud and dirt
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: right all the way over there, you're looking at six
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: seven minutes as at least.
- 1:31:06Speaker 5: Yeah, that's a hike at least.
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: I mean if I'm on the treadmill and I like
- 1:31:12Speaker 2: lightly jog jogging like a miles, like thirteen minutes.
- 1:31:19Speaker 5: Yep.
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: And now let's get to another accusation that we saw
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: Fraser address in the Living History deal there that Joe
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: showed did they ever go to a shooting range together?
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: Well to miss an exhibit thirty seventy seven, a man
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: by the name of Garland Slack maintains that he witnessed
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: Oswald in the company of someone named Fraser and whose
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: car description just happened to match Bules quote. In an
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: effort to resolve discrepancies and information furnished by mister Slack
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: concerning this incident, Missus Slack contacted mister Slack. During the interview.
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: According to Missus Slack, mister Slack maintained that Oswald was
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: atthy Shude or a rifle range on November seventeenth, nineteen
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: sixty three, and then he'd been brought there by a
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: man named Fraser from Irving, Texas business. Slack stata she
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: felt her husband was confused as to the date when
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: he observed the individual he believed to be Oswald at
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: the range, but he was sincere in this statement he
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: previously made the agents of the FBI and during his
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: testimony before the President's Commission, and of course this testimony
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: was dismissed and overlooked as being misremembered right right.
- 1:32:29Speaker 2: And buried in Commission Exhibit three thousand something.
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: Yeah, nonetheless, now many moons ago, I thought it'd be
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: a good idea, Joe, to go looking for Wesley Buell
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: Fraser's polygraph test examination from the Dallas Police Department. Right,
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: you think that they would have that somewhere. You think
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: so right, Well, they don't apparently.
- 1:32:55Speaker 2: Should I add that to the list.
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: No, because you're not going to find it there. But
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: if you are, I can tell you exactly where you
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: can try to look. There's the identifier number.
- 1:33:07Speaker 2: Oh, let me screenshow okay.
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: The problem is if you scroll on down yonder, it
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: has an access restriction, possibly specific access restriction of the
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: JFK Assassination Records Collection Act. Some materials may have been
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: withdrawn for reasons of personal privacy or national security.
- 1:33:30Speaker 2: They always use security. But bro get the David Ferry
- 1:33:35Speaker 2: for thing out.
- 1:33:40Speaker 5: Oh Gregory, thank you, sir?
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: What's up exactly? He's just looking to make an extra
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: dime with that interview in the book before he kicks
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: the old bucket. I agree, Yeah, gotta come up with
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: something if you're going to put out finally put out
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: a book, you know, years after it happened, over long,
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: fifty eight years after that.
- 1:34:00Speaker 2: Yeah, you can't just say the same thing as you said, exactly.
- 1:34:04Speaker 2: You've got to add some meat and taters, as we
- 1:34:08Speaker 2: call it on the book reviews. But thank you, thank you,
- 1:34:13Speaker 2: greg We love you.
- 1:34:15Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: We'll talk more about the assassination tapes on members only.
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: But Now what's interesting is if you can see here
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: this little bit at the top, it is a piece
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: of a transcription from Fraser's HSCA testimony. Right now, two
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: of four of Fraser's HSCA testimony tapes are so badly
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: damaged that they can they have never been transcribed fully.
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: The other two are barely listenable. And why that is
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: there's some interesting things that have been drawn out of it, Okay,
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: including this one. When questioned by Moriarty, Fraser says, no,
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: I didn't know that he'd been caught, but I will
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: tell you this. I knew that he hid or had
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: the rifle. And Moriarty says mm hm. And Fraser says,
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: he did. And I said to myself, I said, oh
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: my god, that was the first thing right there on
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: the steps. I also knew that I didn't want to
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: get pulled in. Moriarty says, mm hmm. Now that right
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: there is a pretty damn inflammatory statement, don't you think, Joe,
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: I think so.
- 1:35:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: Also, during the HSCA interview, you told the investigators that
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: you were put in a police lineup with Oswald. A
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: question for him would have been about what time of
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: night did this take place? And was it before or
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: after you were called back to the station to take
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: a polygraph? Also in his HSCA testimony, he said that
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: Oswald told him that he owned Dallas and that he
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: said you drove the car. Do you remember anything else
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: about what went on during that lineup? Would have been
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: a good question to ask old Fraser.
- 1:36:10Speaker 2: Right, and let's let's speculate here.
- 1:36:13Speaker 3: Wrong.
- 1:36:14Speaker 2: Yeah, it probably would have had to been before the
- 1:36:22Speaker 2: midnight press conference, right, so you're thinking like late Friday,
- 1:36:28Speaker 2: like very late Friday, like eleven pm.
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm sure it was after they pulled him back,
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: right right after brought him back to the station to
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: question him more after Oswald denied the curtain rod story.
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: They had some witness in there that they wanted to
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: do a lineup for, and we have no clue who
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: it was.
- 1:36:49Speaker 2: Or who else was in the lineup as well, right,
- 1:36:52Speaker 2: because remember the other lineups in regards to the whole
- 1:36:56Speaker 2: tip of thing that was all like cops and then
- 1:36:58Speaker 2: you have Oswald up and shirt torn and.
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: Except right, So this is very interesting, right, very So
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: let's move on down the line a little bit here,
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: Let's get past Randall. He refused to identify himself in
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: this Darnell still at the AARC conference in twenty fourteen
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: and Bethesda, Maryland or comment on the possible identity of
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: prayer Man, who he obviously had to fucking see because
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: he's standing right fucking next to him.
- 1:37:43Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: Also in his testimony, Fraser has said that he came
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: down off them steps, right to the bottom step to
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: start to follow Shelley and love Lady, who in the
- 1:37:58Speaker 1: larger picture of this frame you can see starting to
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: head down Elm Street towards the knoll. Wait, wait, it's
- 1:38:08Speaker 1: not in this. It's cut off from this frame, but
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: it's either in the Wigman or Darnell you can see
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: love Lady and Shelley walking down towards a knoll. Right,
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: all right, now, this is Frasier standing up there with
- 1:38:22Speaker 1: his arms crossed, not moving. It hasn't moved a fucking inch.
- 1:38:28Speaker 1: It's this fascination.
- 1:38:30Speaker 2: Looking at sandwiches.
- 1:38:33Speaker 1: Yeah, looking at prayer Man over here eating a fucking sandwich. Uh, thinking, boy,
- 1:38:37Speaker 1: that roast beef shore does look good. I can hear
- 1:38:43Speaker 1: my little tummy rambling a little bit down there.
- 1:38:46Speaker 5: But you know, he said, he he.
- 1:38:48Speaker 1: He describes the scene as utter chaos. People were packed
- 1:38:51Speaker 1: in there like sardines, after the people running everywhere, and
- 1:38:56Speaker 1: this motherfucker's just standing there like a statue at the
- 1:38:59Speaker 1: top of the step.
- 1:39:02Speaker 5: Thinking, oh my god. Right, what did he say?
- 1:39:06Speaker 1: Thinking? Oh my god, I didn't know that he'd been caught,
- 1:39:11Speaker 1: But I will tell you this. I knew that he
- 1:39:12Speaker 1: hid the rifle, and I said to myself, oh my god,
- 1:39:15Speaker 1: that was the first thing right there on the steps.
- 1:39:18Speaker 1: I also knew that I didn't want to get pulled in. Okay,
- 1:39:21Speaker 1: But there you have Fraser standing on the steps thinking
- 1:39:24Speaker 1: all shit, right.
- 1:39:30Speaker 5: Now, why am I saying this?
- 1:39:34Speaker 1: All right? It's really simple, It's really simple. The package
- 1:39:39Speaker 1: that Fraser describes he from the get go, you know,
- 1:39:46Speaker 1: states in his Affidavid, this thing is two feet long, right,
- 1:39:51Speaker 1: which you cannot fit a rifle or a broken down
- 1:39:56Speaker 1: rifle into a two foot bag. You just can't, right,
- 1:40:03Speaker 1: And it's obviously not. This dude's lunch in a two
- 1:40:05Speaker 1: foot bag, right, Okay. Now, Fraser is a rifle owner.
- 1:40:13Speaker 1: He used to go hunting in Huntington or wherever he
- 1:40:16Speaker 1: was from, Huntington, Alabama, or Texas or wherever he came from.
- 1:40:21Speaker 1: You know, he used to hunt deer and stuff or
- 1:40:23Speaker 1: antelope or whatever the fuck flies around on the prairies
- 1:40:27Speaker 1: out there right now, Obviously, being a rifle owner, you
- 1:40:35Speaker 1: come to understand the various types of rifle cases that
- 1:40:39Speaker 1: there are. Joe, there are hard shell cases with the
- 1:40:44Speaker 1: distinct shape that you know what's in that case.
- 1:40:47Speaker 5: Okay, that's a rifle case.
- 1:40:49Speaker 1: Or it can be out of some kind of cloth
- 1:40:51Speaker 1: material or leather material, but it's still going to be
- 1:40:56Speaker 1: in the general shape of a rifle case. When you
- 1:40:58Speaker 1: see a rifle case, no matter if it's hard shell,
- 1:41:01Speaker 1: soft shell, cloth, whatever, brown paper fucking bag, it looks
- 1:41:07Speaker 1: like a rifle in a rifle case. Okay, here's my point, folks,
- 1:41:17Speaker 1: Fraser stands on the two foot bag. He's been standing
- 1:41:22Speaker 1: on that fucking mountain for sixty some years. Okay, there's
- 1:41:27Speaker 1: absolutely zero proof of a two foot bag being found
- 1:41:33Speaker 1: in the school book depository period. No two foot bag
- 1:41:38Speaker 1: and no curtain rods, all right, Now, as much as
- 1:41:43Speaker 1: people don't want to admit it, there was a very
- 1:41:47Speaker 1: long rifle looking case bag found, or at least brought
- 1:41:52Speaker 1: out of the school book depository.
- 1:41:54Speaker 2: Right with one of the deputies holding it.
- 1:41:56Speaker 1: Right. It is definitely longer than two feet. Like, you
- 1:42:00Speaker 1: wouldn't even mistake it for being two feet This thing
- 1:42:04Speaker 1: is like from the deputies over his head down to
- 1:42:07Speaker 1: his freaking knee. I mean, it's three or four foot long.
- 1:42:10Speaker 1: You know, it's definitely looks like a rifle case, you
- 1:42:13Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, even if it's made out of
- 1:42:14Speaker 1: a paper bag. Right point being all right, is if
- 1:42:24Speaker 1: Oswald brought a package to work that day, then it
- 1:42:30Speaker 1: had to be three or four feet long. It had
- 1:42:33Speaker 1: to be a rifle in that package. And Fraser would
- 1:42:37Speaker 1: have likely dropped him off of the building, so he
- 1:42:39Speaker 1: didn't have loved that goddamn thing a half a mile
- 1:42:42Speaker 1: through the mud to the building. Now, I'm not saying
- 1:42:46Speaker 1: Fraser is an accomplice or was doing anything wrong or
- 1:42:49Speaker 1: anything like that. Okay, Oswald could have told him, you know, hey,
- 1:42:54Speaker 1: I'm taking my rifle after work to get it, you know,
- 1:42:56Speaker 1: get some work done on it.
- 1:42:58Speaker 5: Whatever. It doesn't have to be anything nefarious.
- 1:43:00Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:43:03Speaker 1: So, and just because I think that Oswald did bring
- 1:43:08Speaker 1: a rifle into that building that day doesn't mean that
- 1:43:10Speaker 1: I think that he was on the sixth floor shooting
- 1:43:12Speaker 1: it at twelve thirty either. Again, you have to Remember
- 1:43:17Speaker 1: the rifle is registered and purchased by AJ Hidell, right,
- 1:43:25Speaker 1: a member of the fair Play for Cuba Committee, which
- 1:43:28Speaker 1: is a Castro supporting organization. So if this rifle, if
- 1:43:36Speaker 1: something went down in Dealey Plaza and this rifle was
- 1:43:41Speaker 1: found inside this building, it could be traced back to
- 1:43:44Speaker 1: AJ Hidel, a supposed fair Play for Cuba Committee member
- 1:43:51Speaker 1: from New Orleans. Now they could be chasing, you know,
- 1:43:55Speaker 1: they could be chasing their tail trying to figure out
- 1:43:57Speaker 1: whose Aja Hidell is. Maybe they figure it out, maybe
- 1:44:00Speaker 1: they don't. Oswald may be betting on the fact that
- 1:44:03Speaker 1: they don't, right m hm. Or the alternative, Joe is
- 1:44:11Speaker 1: that Oswald didn't have any package that day. He didn't
- 1:44:15Speaker 1: have a two foot package full of curtain rides. He
- 1:44:18Speaker 1: didn't have a long ass package of a rifle. He
- 1:44:21Speaker 1: didn't have a package. He had his lunch with him, okay,
- 1:44:25Speaker 1: because when he was interrogated by Fritz and them, he
- 1:44:28Speaker 1: told him that he had brought his lunch to work
- 1:44:31Speaker 1: and he had it was a piece of cheese and
- 1:44:33Speaker 1: an apple or something, get it, you know, lunch right.
- 1:44:38Speaker 2: Right, And of course Buell says, Oswald said, I didn't
- 1:44:44Speaker 2: bring any lunch today. I planned to buy it, right,
- 1:44:49Speaker 2: which which would be out of the norm for Lee.
- 1:44:53Speaker 1: Either way, and based on what Fraser has said here
- 1:44:58Speaker 1: to the HSCA, it is seemingly a glaring admission of something.
- 1:45:06Speaker 1: Either way, you look at Fraser's story, he's lying. He's lying.
- 1:45:14Speaker 1: Either Oswald had a package, a big one, a long one,
- 1:45:18Speaker 1: and it had a rifle in it, or he didn't
- 1:45:21Speaker 1: have a package at all.
- 1:45:22Speaker 5: It's one or the other. It cannot be.
- 1:45:25Speaker 1: And there is no evidence supporting a two foot package
- 1:45:30Speaker 1: or curtain rods, period. And nobody says when they saw
- 1:45:36Speaker 1: Oswald on the bus or in the cab that he
- 1:45:39Speaker 1: had a pack of curtain rods with him, you know,
- 1:45:43Speaker 1: or any kind of package with him whatsoever, which in.
- 1:45:46Speaker 2: Theory, by the way, I've never thought of this. Right, So,
- 1:45:50Speaker 2: say Oswald did take curtain rods to work and the
- 1:45:55Speaker 2: assassination happened, would you not take them home with you?
- 1:46:00Speaker 1: Going back to right, if you're inn what are you
- 1:46:04Speaker 1: going to just fucking leave him there? Right again, If
- 1:46:08Speaker 1: you're innocent, you're taking them with you.
- 1:46:10Speaker 2: Yeah, It's like these are fucking curtain robs.
- 1:46:13Speaker 1: Check them, bro, I mean, if you're guilty, and you
- 1:46:17Speaker 1: did shoot that rifle, Kennedy, And then you might say, well,
- 1:46:20Speaker 1: fucking curtain Rod, I'm getting out of here, you know.
- 1:46:23Speaker 1: And they would have been found somewhere in the school
- 1:46:25Speaker 1: book depository, but they weren't, and neither was a two
- 1:46:29Speaker 1: foot bag. So either way you look at the story,
- 1:46:31Speaker 1: Fraser's lying. And I'm not saying the Fraser is some evil,
- 1:46:35Speaker 1: evil person either. He's a nineteen year old kid, you're
- 1:46:40Speaker 1: scared out of his freaking.
- 1:46:41Speaker 2: Wits getting who's getting leaned on by all the powers
- 1:46:47Speaker 2: that be. He's getting, you know, probably threatened obviously brought back,
- 1:46:54Speaker 2: but the polygraph and this and that, Like he's getting
- 1:46:57Speaker 2: leaned on.
- 1:46:59Speaker 1: Yeah, and I think that's the reason that he went
- 1:47:01Speaker 1: to see his father in law or stepfather to get
- 1:47:05Speaker 1: advice about what he should do, and they concocted this story.
- 1:47:10Speaker 1: And no matter what happens, you stick to this story.
- 1:47:13Speaker 1: His sister stuck to the story, right, Yeah. And it's
- 1:47:19Speaker 1: been that way ever since. And they could not shake
- 1:47:22Speaker 1: him on this story during his warre commission or the
- 1:47:25Speaker 1: FBI investigation. They just couldn't get him off this two
- 1:47:28Speaker 1: foot package thing. They just basically said, well, he must
- 1:47:31Speaker 1: have been mistaken about the link of the package. That's
- 1:47:34Speaker 1: the only explanation, right, well, the alternative explanation he was
- 1:47:38Speaker 1: lying again. They say they gave him a polygraph. They
- 1:47:41Speaker 1: say he passed with flying colors.
- 1:47:44Speaker 5: But where is it?
- 1:47:45Speaker 1: Where is it?
- 1:47:47Speaker 2: That's a good question. And Rob, I never thought of
- 1:47:50Speaker 2: this before. So I'm guessing his mother, right, who was
- 1:47:56Speaker 2: he was love and with his sister, right, and his
- 1:47:59Speaker 2: two or three nieces, depending on what it changes. His
- 1:48:05Speaker 2: father was out of the picture.
- 1:48:06Speaker 1: I'm guessing, well, he was back where he came from.
- 1:48:11Speaker 2: Okay, So he wasn't local, correct, Okay, So, and.
- 1:48:15Speaker 1: I think he was the abusive drunk. I don't think
- 1:48:20Speaker 1: it was his stepfather, right, right, So his stepfather might
- 1:48:24Speaker 1: have been somebody he respected, somebody that could give him
- 1:48:26Speaker 1: good advice about what to do in this situation.
- 1:48:30Speaker 2: Right again, nineteen year old kid?
- 1:48:32Speaker 5: Yeah, kid, where are you going to go? What are
- 1:48:36Speaker 5: you going to do?
- 1:48:37Speaker 1: I mean, if he's standing there, if he's truly standing
- 1:48:39Speaker 1: there on them steps, thinking oh shit, I brought this
- 1:48:43Speaker 1: motherfucker and his rifle to work, right, and.
- 1:48:50Speaker 2: I'd be pissed, I mean I know what to do.
- 1:48:54Speaker 2: I'd be scared.
- 1:48:55Speaker 1: Of it certainly doesn't look good for me. You know,
- 1:49:01Speaker 1: what should I do here? Type of thing. You know,
- 1:49:04Speaker 1: he might need some advice about what to do and
- 1:49:07Speaker 1: how to move forward with things, right.
- 1:49:09Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, And I think he really did kind of
- 1:49:12Speaker 2: stand on the steps be like, oh.
- 1:49:16Speaker 1: What do I do?
- 1:49:17Speaker 2: Not because of Lee really, because I don't think he
- 1:49:20Speaker 2: really put that together yet, but just like I'm Justice
- 1:49:26Speaker 2: Skufuza and what the hell has happened type of thing.
- 1:49:30Speaker 2: But then, like we said, his later testimony, he's following
- 1:49:35Speaker 2: Shelley and love Lady. He's going behind to the doc
- 1:49:39Speaker 2: you're seeing osble leaving. None of this is described in
- 1:49:45Speaker 2: his early statements, right, and.
- 1:49:50Speaker 5: Check this out too.
- 1:49:53Speaker 1: Again. What he told the HCA was pretty inflammatory, right,
- 1:50:04Speaker 1: But he definitely did not want.
- 1:50:06Speaker 5: To talk to these motherfuckers.
- 1:50:09Speaker 1: In fact, he went to great links to try to
- 1:50:12Speaker 1: not have to talk to these people. Who let me
- 1:50:16Speaker 1: back this down a little bit. Here these are notes,
- 1:50:19Speaker 1: handwritten notes from the HSCA investigators who came to Dallas
- 1:50:25Speaker 1: to talk to witnesses.
- 1:50:26Speaker 5: Okay, mo, yeah, yeah.
- 1:50:30Speaker 2: It was, by the way, an amazing investigator by all accounts.
- 1:50:34Speaker 1: Yeah, he was so third line down. You can see
- 1:50:37Speaker 1: Wesley Frasier, right, mm hmm, yeah, it's.
- 1:50:42Speaker 2: It's in the darkest kind of font if you will.
- 1:50:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not sure what he says. And then in
- 1:50:48Speaker 1: parentheses his grahams, and then in parentheses after that it
- 1:50:52Speaker 1: is very and then right under that it says were
- 1:50:56Speaker 1: and then under that it says wait till five a m.
- 1:51:00Speaker 1: Ten nineteen seventy nine.
- 1:51:04Speaker 2: What does that mean.
- 1:51:07Speaker 1: That Fraser wanted to wait until ten nineteen five in
- 1:51:11Speaker 1: the morning to be interviewed allegedly, really or maybe at
- 1:51:16Speaker 1: seventy seven, I don't.
- 1:51:17Speaker 2: Know, don't talk to me at five am. Shit.
- 1:51:22Speaker 1: Right now, at this time, Fraser is in the army
- 1:51:26Speaker 1: or the military, whatever he's in. I think he's in
- 1:51:28Speaker 1: the army, and he stationed at I think somewhere close
- 1:51:33Speaker 1: to Dallas and maybe Fort Hood something like that at
- 1:51:36Speaker 1: this time, and we go down a little bit, right
- 1:51:43Speaker 1: because it's been a couple of days. Here we go,
- 1:51:48Speaker 1: Fraser continues to procastinate. Now wants to meet in a
- 1:51:53Speaker 1: lawyer's office next Friday. Ultimately make appointment for Friday at
- 1:51:59Speaker 1: one to two, but that's not definite definite resistance, but
- 1:52:06Speaker 1: reason not that apparent will require another call tomorrow at
- 1:52:11Speaker 1: ten quote to see if my lawyer says it's okay
- 1:52:15Speaker 1: to talk to you.
- 1:52:17Speaker 2: Yep, that's what it says. That's what it says.
- 1:52:23Speaker 1: Here we go in twenty seventy seven, nine am call
- 1:52:28Speaker 1: Buell Wesley Frasier at work and got more put off.
- 1:52:34Speaker 5: My lawyer's secretary forgot to check his schedule.
- 1:52:41Speaker 1: I make a third call at five pm and tomorrow
- 1:52:45Speaker 1: at one pm at lawyer's office. Is okay, Dash finally, Okay, Okay,
- 1:52:55Speaker 1: that's crazy.
- 1:52:57Speaker 2: This is I've never seen this.
- 1:52:59Speaker 1: This is I'm just making sure there's nothing else about
- 1:53:06Speaker 1: Frasier in these notes. Nope, okay, So very interesting stuff here, man, Like,
- 1:53:21Speaker 1: why are you so reluctant to speak to the HSCA investigators.
- 1:53:29Speaker 1: I mean, this is another official government investigation into the
- 1:53:34Speaker 1: Kennedy assassination and you're the star motherfucking witness. You brought
- 1:53:38Speaker 1: the guy to work. Now he got away from the
- 1:53:42Speaker 1: truth during the Warrant commissioned investigation, he got away from
- 1:53:47Speaker 1: the shit during the clay Shaw trial. Now it's the
- 1:53:52Speaker 1: HSCA investigation and he just can't get away from it.
- 1:53:59Speaker 2: Well, Rob, I mean, listen, there's probably no ever threat
- 1:54:04Speaker 2: that he would be prosecuted or you know, like bamed
- 1:54:16Speaker 2: at the HCA.
- 1:54:17Speaker 1: Point, Well, he would have had to say, you know,
- 1:54:19Speaker 1: I mean, he did bring him to work. He didn't
- 1:54:22Speaker 1: know he had a rifle. He didn't know he took
- 1:54:23Speaker 1: a rifle in the building the same day the president
- 1:54:25Speaker 1: is supposed to drive by the building. I mean, you
- 1:54:28Speaker 1: have to be pretty naive and or stupid to think
- 1:54:31Speaker 1: that that's just merely a coincidence, right right.
- 1:54:36Speaker 2: But I'm saying there's no threat. He's really going to
- 1:54:39Speaker 2: jail over this. I can understand his apprehensiveness of not
- 1:54:46Speaker 2: why to talk to people, not wanting to you.
- 1:54:48Speaker 1: Maybe the Warran Commission investigations spooked the shit out of him.
- 1:54:52Speaker 1: Maybe the initial his initial arrest and made the sign
- 1:54:54Speaker 1: of confession and.
- 1:54:56Speaker 5: YadA, YadA, YadA.
- 1:54:57Speaker 1: I mean, I have the original Irving Police Department arrest
- 1:55:02Speaker 1: warrant for Buel Frasier and it says commission of murder
- 1:55:07Speaker 1: or the President of the United States, Like it's serious.
- 1:55:12Speaker 1: Ship yeah yeah, So you know, I think he thought
- 1:55:17Speaker 1: it got away with it, and here comes another investigation.
- 1:55:20Speaker 1: What are they going to turn up now? Right right?
- 1:55:23Speaker 1: You know?
- 1:55:23Speaker 5: And could I possibly be charged.
- 1:55:25Speaker 1: With something, you know, obstruction. Now, if I tell them
- 1:55:30Speaker 1: the truth, they'll know I was lying back then.
- 1:55:33Speaker 5: It doesn't look good.
- 1:55:34Speaker 1: Why are you lying?
- 1:55:35Speaker 5: Oh you were just scared? Right, sure, okay, you know
- 1:55:38Speaker 5: type of thing.
- 1:55:40Speaker 2: Yeah, no, no, that that makes sense, even like obstruction
- 1:55:43Speaker 2: of justice or something like, even if it's not like
- 1:55:47Speaker 2: accomplice to you know, murder or whatever. Right, it's fascinating
- 1:55:55Speaker 2: to think about, that's for sure, and even crazy that
- 1:56:01Speaker 2: he changes his story so late in the game, right
- 1:56:04Speaker 2: four or five years ago.
- 1:56:06Speaker 5: Well, I've got this here too, Joe.
- 1:56:07Speaker 1: This is from a living history interview that was done
- 1:56:10Speaker 1: almost twenty years before the one you just showed. Oh,
- 1:56:14Speaker 1: it was the first one he ever did. Okay, and
- 1:56:17Speaker 1: it's a lot shorter than yours.
- 1:56:20Speaker 3: Well, I better go back to where go back to
- 1:56:25Speaker 3: the steps, And I did. I walked back to the
- 1:56:28Speaker 3: bottom of the steps, and then I walked out to
- 1:56:33Speaker 3: the corner of the building right there where Houston comes
- 1:56:37Speaker 3: up beside the building. And I was talking to someone
- 1:56:42Speaker 3: because a lady, and I looked.
- 1:56:49Speaker 1: To my lafe.
- 1:56:50Speaker 3: Come walking along the side of this Texas School work
- 1:56:55Speaker 3: building was Lee Oswall walking along.
- 1:57:00Speaker 6: The side of the building.
- 1:57:01Speaker 4: Yeah, Houston Street yes, Houston Street.
- 1:57:04Speaker 3: So he'd come around from off the dock there, and
- 1:57:09Speaker 3: so he walks up and I'm talking to this lady.
- 1:57:12Speaker 3: He didn't say anything, and he crosses Houston. I watched
- 1:57:18Speaker 3: him cross Houston as I was talking to the lady.
- 1:57:22Speaker 3: He gets over to the other side of Houston, and
- 1:57:24Speaker 3: then he crosses Alm and somebody said something to me,
- 1:57:28Speaker 3: and I turned and he was about halfway across the street,
- 1:57:31Speaker 3: and when I turned back, he was gone in the crowd.
- 1:57:34Speaker 3: I don't know what happened to him, but I didn't
- 1:57:36Speaker 3: worry too much about that because there was several places
- 1:57:40Speaker 3: around there that you could go. I need a sandwich.
- 1:57:43Speaker 3: And I remember asking him that morning when he was
- 1:57:46Speaker 3: right there with me, I said, where's he lunch? He said, oh,
- 1:57:51Speaker 3: I'm gonna write off the talk today. I said, okay, well.
- 1:57:59Speaker 1: Again, what are we doing here? I don't know, it's
- 1:58:08Speaker 1: interesting to think about. Yeah, there's a ship ton more
- 1:58:14Speaker 1: for part two members only.
- 1:58:16Speaker 2: Yeah, and of course we don't really know how Lee
- 1:58:19Speaker 2: Oswald left the TSBD.
- 1:58:22Speaker 1: Right, there's many contradictions, right, I mean, you can you
- 1:58:29Speaker 1: know you have the Pierce Almonds story, the Roger Craig story,
- 1:58:33Speaker 1: the McNeil's story the Fraser story. The Fraser story is
- 1:58:39Speaker 1: the only one where Oswald comes out the loading dock door.
- 1:58:46Speaker 1: The Craig story has him going out the let's see
- 1:58:53Speaker 1: the side door over towards the pergola. Right right, there's
- 1:59:00Speaker 1: there's an exit there that goes out to where you
- 1:59:03Speaker 1: know they parked that truck that was behind that big fence.
- 1:59:06Speaker 1: You know that the tramps walked in front of it
- 1:59:08Speaker 1: looked like a big gate. That's where they parked the
- 1:59:10Speaker 1: book truck. And uh, there was a way out over there.
- 1:59:16Speaker 1: And then of course there was the front steps that
- 1:59:19Speaker 1: came out as well. And we're not exactly sure how
- 1:59:24Speaker 1: Oswald left the building. He's not caught on any photo
- 1:59:31Speaker 1: or movie leaving the building, which is surprising as well.
- 1:59:35Speaker 1: How many cameras were click click clicking away immediately after
- 1:59:39Speaker 1: the assassination in the vicinity of the school book depository, correct,
- 1:59:44Speaker 1: which is interesting. But yeah, I mean that's where we're
- 1:59:50Speaker 1: at with Fraser, and like I said, there's a lot
- 1:59:53Speaker 1: more to go through. And I think when we finally
- 1:59:57Speaker 1: get to the time of the mock trial, that is
- 2:00:00Speaker 1: where frasier because now he's made it through the HSCA investigation.
- 2:00:04Speaker 1: He's made it through the warran Commission investigation, and he
- 2:00:07Speaker 1: comes off like a dick in that mock trial, like
- 2:00:11Speaker 1: he just doesn't have time for this shit. He doesn't
- 2:00:14Speaker 1: want to be there. He's very short with his answers.
- 2:00:17Speaker 1: He has a very disgusted look on his face. He's
- 2:00:19Speaker 1: not joking around. This is prime military, thirty to forty
- 2:00:25Speaker 1: year old Buel Fraser, you know, pissed that now he's
- 2:00:31Speaker 1: again has to go through this and tell this story again.
- 2:00:39Speaker 2: Did they even have subpoenas for the mock trial?
- 2:00:43Speaker 1: No, no, it was it was a voluntary thing, kind
- 2:00:48Speaker 1: I think, you know, but maybe they paid, right, they paid.
- 2:00:53Speaker 1: It was a trip to London, you know, It's probably
- 2:00:56Speaker 1: something he couldn't turn down.
- 2:00:57Speaker 2: Yeah, but I'm pretty sure the first time he was
- 2:01:01Speaker 2: ever on a plane was when he was flown to
- 2:01:04Speaker 2: Washington for his first war commission. Hearing the second one
- 2:01:08Speaker 2: happened in Dallas, they went back to him.
- 2:01:11Speaker 1: So, I mean, again, either way you look at it,
- 2:01:18Speaker 1: Fraser is lying his ass off about something, and like
- 2:01:21Speaker 1: I said, I don't blame him. He was a young,
- 2:01:25Speaker 1: scared kid quaking in his moccasins, right, Yeah, but at
- 2:01:30Speaker 1: some point, bro, before you kick the bucket, just come
- 2:01:36Speaker 1: out with the truths book. Be damned, prior prior testimony,
- 2:01:40Speaker 1: be damned.
- 2:01:41Speaker 2: You already got your advance for the book. Whatever.
- 2:01:44Speaker 1: Just come out and say, look, you were friends with
- 2:01:46Speaker 1: this dude, you talked about shit, you went and shot
- 2:01:49Speaker 1: your rifles together, You picked him up from work every
- 2:01:52Speaker 1: day and dropped him off from work every day, and
- 2:01:55Speaker 1: just admit it. Admit it. Yeah, if is he brought
- 2:02:01Speaker 1: a rifle to work that day, it doesn't necessarily mean
- 2:02:04Speaker 1: he was on the sixth floor shooting it, period. But
- 2:02:08Speaker 1: if he brought a rifle to work, that I mean
- 2:02:09Speaker 1: the rifle had to get into the building somehow, right,
- 2:02:12Speaker 1: didn't grow legs and walking there in the middle of
- 2:02:13Speaker 1: the night. Yeah. Yeah, And like Fraser said during his
- 2:02:19Speaker 1: HSCA testimony, I knew that he hid the rifle or
- 2:02:23Speaker 1: had the rifle. If you're transcribing shitty audio, it could
- 2:02:27Speaker 1: be either way. I knew he hit it or I
- 2:02:29Speaker 1: knew he had it. Either way, it ain't good.
- 2:02:34Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, Paul says maybe he didn't want to be
- 2:02:38Speaker 2: charged for perjury.
- 2:02:40Speaker 5: Maybe.
- 2:02:41Speaker 2: Yeah, that's that's a good point. Yeah, I mean it
- 2:02:48Speaker 2: is frustrating that some of these people, the last two
- 2:02:54Speaker 2: that could really give context to this or probably never
- 2:02:59Speaker 2: going to give us any thing. And that's just kind
- 2:03:04Speaker 2: of how this case goes. Unfortunately.
- 2:03:06Speaker 1: Yep, I doubt Marino will ever come out and say anything.
- 2:03:09Speaker 1: I doubt Marina's kids and Lee's kids will ever come
- 2:03:13Speaker 1: out and say anything.
- 2:03:14Speaker 4: No.
- 2:03:15Speaker 2: I mean not that they would know anything, but I
- 2:03:17Speaker 2: mean they would have heard it secondhand. But still they're
- 2:03:20Speaker 2: like completely divorced from the situation, to quote the Dicer.
- 2:03:24Speaker 1: But you would think at some point Marina, they would
- 2:03:26Speaker 1: convince Marina just tell them the truth about what their father.
- 2:03:29Speaker 2: You know, I remember Marina's what like ninety now eighty something,
- 2:03:35Speaker 2: lady eyes, who knows that she even has a facult days,
- 2:03:40Speaker 2: So you know what I mean, Like, we haven't heard
- 2:03:42Speaker 2: from Maria from Marina for years, I don't know, maybe
- 2:03:47Speaker 2: since the fiftieth maybe, I don't know.

- 2:04:02Speaker 1: I said, these people were dropping off, and you know,
- 2:04:06Speaker 1: just to finally I was so excited when Fraser was
- 2:04:09Speaker 1: finally gonna write that book, and then we get some
- 2:04:12Speaker 1: bullshit story about I saw a guy with a rifle
- 2:04:16Speaker 1: out parked right out in front of the school book

- 2:04:20Speaker 1: people running around packed in like sardines on the sidewalk.
- 2:04:25Speaker 1: Nobody else saw this guy with a rifle and put
- 2:04:27Speaker 1: it in his trunk except for me. And I was
- 2:04:31Speaker 1: scared shitless because he was cold, he was dressed real good,
- 2:04:34Speaker 1: he had some real nice breads on him.
- 2:04:35Speaker 2: I could tell some real nice shoes I can tell.
- 2:04:40Speaker 1: Come on, bro, come on, that's what you're gonna leave
- 2:04:47Speaker 1: us with.
- 2:04:49Speaker 5: That's what you're gonna leave us with.
- 2:04:51Speaker 2: It's it's sad that no one has the balls. Let's
- 2:04:55Speaker 2: say to fucking.
- 2:04:56Speaker 1: Just and that's real good, hot damn possibility that he

- 2:05:23Speaker 1: and I deny. Make it possible that you never got
- 2:05:27Speaker 1: in trouble by sticking by that two foot package and
- 2:05:30Speaker 1: it worked out for you. But the time has come,
- 2:05:35Speaker 1: my friend, we know that bookstory is bullshit. Come on

- 2:06:22Speaker 2: that you're ever going to be at this point convicted
- 2:06:26Speaker 2: of any crime, even perjury or this or that, like
