  horsemen revealed, which is the Armory stuff and these are the

  10 Armory figures that are going to be released next year

  packaged as figures was kind of finished figures.

  So they've released this information now, I think to help

  with people who are going to do their bills at Legions Con, you

  know, and maybe if they see one of the figures here that's
• 3:22
  built, that could give them an indication to go for something
• 3:26
  else that they really want. But the advice also is that if

  you really, really, really want like the Spice Girls said back
• 3:33
  in the 90s, and you should probably still get it in the
• 3:37
  Armory if you can, because there's no guarantee that you'll
• 3:41
  be able to get it in the cell. Because obviously and in stock
• 3:45
  sale is in in stock sale, no matter how many figures they
• 3:47
  have, the demand could be great and one particular figure could
• 3:54
  sell out. My bet is on the red guy in the

  So yeah, this was this one, I think was even one that they

  had mashed it together and then I looked at the Horseman's page

  and I saw that they had the one very similar.

  It looked quite different to my mash up but it was the same

  parts except for I think the skirt piece.

  Didn't we say some of these bills I think you can't actually

  make at the armoury, is that correct?

  Certainly the one that's right, that that red one that they

  showed originally, you couldn't make it.

  Yeah. And I think the thing to note

  here is it's not all the pieces have been used.

  So there's 2 green or kind of jade green, there's 2 purple, 2

  silver, one with the kind of silver armour with the leather

  and one with the red armor with the reddish leather and then two

  of the kind of red Red Knights. No cloth arms and legs pieces

  used. So that's definitely worth

  noting. No indication if maybe they come

  with an extra head or not, so that could be something that's

  revealed down the line, but maybe, maybe not I.

  So you get the accessory, you get the bag of accessories that

  we've seen previously. But this is cool, you know, to

  and I think they reach a little bit beyond the community in

  terms of Halloween decorations and that kind of stuff.

  everything, getting ready for the show, you know, every year I

  try to do bigger and better. And this year is definitely

  going to be a, it's going to be a big.

  And have you done what was the you've done Tico New Jersey

  recently or? Yes, a few weeks ago I did Toy

  Con New Jersey for that show. I introduced the the Blackstone

  Throne, one of the newer things that I came out with.

  But the goal of that show was to kind of clear out some

  inventory, get some extra fun for Legions Con and kind of
• 14:24
  clear, clean the slate a bit. And it was a good success.

  It was a good show. Kind of helped me clear off the

  bench and kind of reintroduce some new stuff.

  As much as I'd love to bring back the old stuff, I loved the

  new stuff even better. So keep things fresh, keep

  SO I'm a maniac when it comes to buying legions in particular,

  month or so, there's been such a surge of reveals and drops.

  It it's, it's a bit abnormal. It's, it's never been this good.

  I I feel it's, it's, it's taking leaps and bounds from what we're

  kind of accustomed to. Everything is a hit.

  Every day it's a new toy and every day you look at the bank

  accounts like I'm not going to be able to afford this.

  So it's, I think we're entering a, a, a what I refer to as the

  platinum era of collecting, you know, gold era, you know, we get

  all the properties, but now we're getting high quality, high
• 18:12
  detail. They're giving us what we want

  and it's dangerous. Oh, it really is dangerous.

  Yeah, I get the feeling now and, and I know it's kind of been
• 18:24
  this way over here for a while, is that there's less collecting
• 18:28
  by going into, you know, your, your local Target or Walmart
• 18:31
  and, you know, getting the latest legends or whatever.

  It's moving more towards online stuff, specialty retailers, you
• 18:39
  know, kind of even specialty kind of vendors like, you know,
• 18:45
  like the Horsemen or like, you know, these five case Toby stuff
• 18:49
  or, you know, all this kind of more like premium level 12, like
• 18:55
  not OK, not Mezco level, maybe the the between Marvin Legends
• 18:59
  and Mezco. That's kind of sweet spot.

  Yeah, that kind of sweet spot. And the, the quality of stuff
• 19:05
  there is really good, especially if you're, if you're really in
• 19:08
  the in the know, and I mean, if you're in all these different
• 19:11
  groups that you really get to know what's good and you can
• 19:15
  really put a really good collection quite quickly and a
• 19:18
  big, a big sobbing wallet And tell us that.

  What I've always been fascinated with you is that how did you get
• 19:29
  kind of started in this whole thing with, you know, the
• 19:33
  artistic side of it? So from what I know a bit of
• 19:36
  you, you used to be in the military or?
• 19:39
  Yes, actually retired from the Army two years ago.
• 19:42
  Wow. Served 12 years.
• 19:47
  Amazing. But before that, you know, ever
• 19:49
  since. Time as well, yeah. 15 years
• 19:55
  it's been nuts. It's been completely nuts,
• 19:57
  completely nuts. But, but as far as like the the
• 20:00
  customizing journey as a kid, I've always, there's always that
• 20:04
  dissatisfaction you have with the toys you got.
• 20:06
  It's like, well, this toy is cool, but.
• 20:08
  What if it can do this or it looks like this?
• 20:11
  So you get some twist ties, you get pipe cleaners, you get
• 20:13
  construction paper. You know, it's to make wrestling
• 20:16
  rings out of shoe boxes, pencils and rubber bands.
• 20:18
  So it kind of developed that that imagination and that
• 20:22
  creativity when you're you're, you're a kid.
• 20:25
  And for me, it's not something that I've ever let go of.
• 20:28
  So as the years went by, you know, I tried different mediums,
• 20:32
  you know, sculpting with clay and you know, you know,
• 20:36
  different mixed medias, that type of thing.
• 20:38
  And you know, even using the two-part epoxy clay with
• 20:41
  customizing figures. So I was big into the Marvel
• 20:44
  Ledgers customization and it wasn't until, you know, the 3D
• 20:47
  printed technology started becoming more affordable that I
• 20:50
  saw a means to, you know, consistently reproduce things
• 20:54
  that I like to make and to share with my friends too.
• 20:57
  So Fast forward, you know, it's where I am now, just cranking
• 21:01
  out these parts and designing, sculpting, printing, painting,
• 21:08
  assembling, breaking most times. So you know, it's, it's, it's
• 21:13
  been quite the journey. But I feel like being able to
• 21:17
  make the intangible ideas in your mind tangible, that is a
• 21:23
  blessing. That is something that I wish
• 21:26
  everyone could experience, at least in some capacity, for
• 21:31
  sure, so fair. And your ideas are often quite
• 21:34
  big, as, as we've seen, whether it be your weapons or your
• 21:38
  diabils or your, you know, vehicles you built, you know,
• 21:42
  for last regions Khan, you had a catapult.
• 21:45
  The catapult You were firing goblins across the Yeah with
• 21:50
  Anthony. They come in this year, Steph,
• 21:52
  because I didn't see any of the goblins get shot.

  So. Well, the the the goblins are on
• 21:57
  a hiatus from operating though, so we'll make some human sized
• 22:01
  catapults for the show this year a bit more manageable in size.

  The goblins have had enough, you know, they didn't read the
• 22:08
  instruction manuals and they got hurt, so.

  with this Cape with the fur all sewn on attached to it.

  He said it's just really hard. And so I wanted to build a whole

  custom around that Cape, which is where this guy came from.

  It's it's a white and then super, super thin layers of the

  fluorescent because if you do them too thick, it darkens real

  quick. Then you get these dark patches

  and then just some dry brushing. On the surfaces where the light

  would land and then tons of gloss ton, tons of gloss varnish

  on the surfaces. So they, they pick up the lights

  and yeah. And I love that kit on the

  right. And I was bummed when Legion

  shop discontinued it. And then Lynn has now picked up

  those files and, and so I was able to get some more of those

  from him. It's just a real unique head

  because those eyes are holes like, and, and So what I do is I

  paint the ball, the neck peg that, that, that green.

  And so since it's kind of hollow, it gives it that depth
