- 1:21Speaker 2: It's a story you need to hear to believe.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Then grab your popcorn because there is more. And I said,
- 1:27Speaker 1: if you were heading to school today, high schoolers, middle schoolers,
- 1:30Speaker 1: I said, I was gonna get into this.
- 1:31Speaker 2: So first of all classes and.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Session Professor Katz, welcome, Glad you could be here. You
- 1:37Speaker 1: have good parents because they've got the radio turned on,
- 1:39Speaker 1: unless you have the radio turned on, in which case, bravo, bravo.
- 1:46Speaker 1: The the difference between the conservative minds and the liberal
- 1:52Speaker 1: minds is is.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Great, and the idea that they are it's all just nonsense.
- 1:58Speaker 2: It isn't right.
- 2:00Speaker 1: There needs to be in your dealings with things, an
- 2:06Speaker 1: approach that has value.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Right.
- 2:11Speaker 1: My approach is what allows for the most amount of
- 2:14Speaker 1: freedom and what allows for a better led nation. And
- 2:18Speaker 1: I think that involves less taxes, and I think that
- 2:21Speaker 1: involves more safety and security, and I think that involves.
- 2:24Speaker 2: A willingness to be more open about the things that
- 2:26Speaker 2: we're dealing with.
- 2:28Speaker 1: The political left has moved more and more into wanting
- 2:32Speaker 1: to consolidate power and to have power over people as
- 2:35Speaker 1: opposed to people having the power themselves. And I can
- 2:38Speaker 1: prove this in a number of ways, but I share
- 2:41Speaker 1: with you now what it is that Representative Alexandria Cassio
- 2:45Speaker 1: Cortez has put forward. And I want to start at
- 2:47Speaker 1: leads to the baseline, so you know where I come from.
- 2:50Speaker 1: She is not a smart woman. She's quite dumb. Now
- 2:54Speaker 1: you can tell me about the college degrees, and I
- 2:57Speaker 1: will tell you that college degrees do not equal intellect.
- 3:00Speaker 2: That isn't true. Intellect equals intellect.
- 3:05Speaker 1: A value system, a theory, a philosophy that allows people
- 3:11Speaker 1: to live their lives as free as possible.
- 3:14Speaker 2: To the moment of their happiness. That's better. That is smart.
- 3:18Speaker 2: You don't need a college degree for that.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Representative of Costi Cortes at the Institute of Politics, speaking
- 3:28Speaker 1: to the crowd assembled, made this following statement.
- 3:34Speaker 3: The American Revolution was against the billionaires of their time,
- 3:40Speaker 3: and we're declaring independence from such an extreme marriage of
- 3:46Speaker 3: wealth and power.
- 3:48Speaker 2: And no part of that is true.
- 3:53Speaker 1: She wants you to believe that America's history is always
- 3:57Speaker 1: fighting against the millionaires and the billionaires. She wants you
- 4:00Speaker 1: to buy into the idea of class struggle. That's Karl Marx.
- 4:05Speaker 1: When I discussed the fact that Alexander Cassi Cortez, Bernie Sanders,
- 4:10Speaker 1: Jarmandani Katie Wilson, who all got elected, they're all communists.
- 4:16Speaker 2: They're communists. They believe that.
- 4:19Speaker 1: They can push forward this idea of class struggle which
- 4:22Speaker 1: does not exist, and get people to their cause to
- 4:27Speaker 1: engage in violence against others. They shot and killed the
- 4:32Speaker 1: CEO of United Healthcare in the middle of the street,
- 4:34Speaker 1: and there are people on the political left who cheered
- 4:36Speaker 1: and said, well, he deserved it. That is the push
- 4:39Speaker 1: of the class struggle. The fact that many of them
- 4:43Speaker 1: are millionaires themselves. You shouldn't notice that I personally have
- 4:48Speaker 1: no problem with millionaires and billionaires. I'm trying to be
- 4:51Speaker 1: both of them at the same time. It's called having
- 4:55Speaker 1: a goal, it's called being able to pursue one's passions,
- 4:59Speaker 1: and it's dollars, well, then go get it. As long
- 5:02Speaker 1: as you're within the confines of the law. Feel free
- 5:05Speaker 1: if you want to pursue mountain climbing. I'm not here
- 5:07Speaker 1: to stop you. No, seriously, I'm not here to stop you.
- 5:10Speaker 1: You're not gonna find me on the mountain. Maybe on
- 5:13Speaker 1: a hike if there is a trail, but actual climbing
- 5:17Speaker 1: up the mountain like sheer clip. No, I will not
- 5:21Speaker 1: be there. Best of luck to you. Don't forget a Carabiner, which.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Is the weirdest name in the world. Carabiner, you go
- 5:30Speaker 2: do that.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Her argument is not only historically inaccurate, it is not
- 5:37Speaker 1: only ignorant, it is a flat out lie to push
- 5:43Speaker 1: further the class warfare. Let me bring you another example
- 5:48Speaker 1: of Representative Acossia Cortes and trying to push push a
- 5:52Speaker 1: level of warfare.
- 5:54Speaker 3: When you are seeing states like Tennessee want.
- 5:58Speaker 2: To wipe out.
- 6:02Speaker 4: Every black representative on the map in these states, we
- 6:08Speaker 4: have an obligation as Americans to stand with Black Americans
- 6:13Speaker 4: and communities whose representation is being disenfranchised.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Again class warfare.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Representative Ofcostia Cortez wants you to believe that she stands
- 6:23Speaker 1: with black Americans because Tennessee vote now made, got the
- 6:28Speaker 1: legislation signed by the governor, and they are going to redistrict.
- 6:31Speaker 1: It's going to change the area of Memphis and it
- 6:34Speaker 1: will probably end up being a Republican seat for Congress's
- 6:37Speaker 1: at a Democratic seat. Now, you might oppose the redistricting,
- 6:40Speaker 1: but let's go back to what Representative Acostia Cortes said.
- 6:43Speaker 1: She said, this is wiping out the black vote. This
- 6:46Speaker 1: is the area of Memphis, and the area of Memphis
- 6:49Speaker 1: is represented by Steve Cohen, who is a white man,
- 6:53Speaker 1: and the Republicans have nominated a black woman, and that's
- 6:57Speaker 1: who may very well be the next representative from that area.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Yet there's a Costio Cortez saying that black people are
- 7:03Speaker 1: being disenfranchised. Black people aren't going to be able to
- 7:05Speaker 1: have representation as if all.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Black people think alike.
- 7:09Speaker 1: First of all, how racist of representative of Costi Cortez.
- 7:12Speaker 1: But all Communists are racist guys. You will see this
- 7:15Speaker 1: time and again and again and again. All communists are bigots.
- 7:18Speaker 1: All communists are anti sem It's all communists are racists.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Always on everything. It's their history. All I did was
- 7:26Speaker 2: take a look. But she's lying. It is a lie.
- 7:33Speaker 1: They may very well vote for a black woman to
- 7:35Speaker 1: be in Congress. Well, if you if you believe in
- 7:37Speaker 1: racial equality, isn't that exactly what you'd want? Why should
- 7:40Speaker 1: it be a white man when it could be a
- 7:41Speaker 1: black woman. Why should it be a white man when
- 7:44Speaker 1: it could be a black woman. But that isn't what
- 7:46Speaker 1: Representative Costi Cortez is saying. She isn't cheering that on,
- 7:50Speaker 1: she is lamenting losing power because for the Democratic Party,
- 7:54Speaker 1: like all communists, power is everything, not us having a
- 7:59Speaker 1: government of buying for the people, not the people's voice
- 8:02Speaker 1: and will being done, not accepting the results of elections,
- 8:07Speaker 1: but power.
- 8:10Speaker 2: And you have to know that going in.
- 8:13Speaker 1: That Representative Alexandria Cosi Cortez will lie to your face
- 8:17Speaker 1: with a smile like zoron mom, Donnie will in order
- 8:21Speaker 1: to have power.
- 8:24Speaker 2: And you have the power to say, nah, I'm not
- 8:28Speaker 2: buying into that. Nah I ain't voting for that.
- 8:33Speaker 1: You shouldn't vote for that, because not only is Representative
- 8:37Speaker 1: Costi Coortez a liar and we have the data, she's
- 8:41Speaker 1: just not bright, and don't we have enough dumb people
- 8:45Speaker 1: in Congress. Thus end at the lesson, I'm professor Katz.
- 8:49Speaker 1: You guys go to school, don't forget to drink your milk.
