Transcript
- 0:00Sean McAllister: Welcome to Vegas Revealed episode 41.
- 0:03Dayna Roselli: It's election week, and one of the best President Trump comedian and actors lives here in Las Vegas.
- 0:09Dayna Roselli: John De Domenico joins us.
- 0:11Dayna Roselli: You won't want to miss it.
- 0:12Sean McAllister: Plus, we have brand new September visitor numbers for Las Vegas.
- 0:16Sean McAllister: It's pretty revealing about what's happening here.
- 0:19Sean McAllister: And Circa makes a splash with its grand opening, We Were There, and we interview the chef behind the property's premier restaurant.
- 0:26Sean McAllister: He lets us know what you must order when you visit.
- 0:30Sean McAllister: That's coming up in our tips.
- 0:45Dayna Roselli: Welcome to Biggest Revealed.
- 0:47Dayna Roselli: I'm Dana Roselli along with Sean McAllister, and it is election week.
- 0:52Dayna Roselli: Like we mentioned uh earlier in our open, you know, we've got a great guest coming up.
- 0:57Dayna Roselli: He is a, he doesn't like to be called a Trump impersonator, Sean.
- 1:00Dayna Roselli: He said he's a comedian, a writer, and an actor, which makes sense.
- 1:04Dayna Roselli: He takes his roles very seriously.
- 1:05Sean McAllister: He does, and he does comedy outside of what he does in his uh Donald Trump character.
- 1:12Sean McAllister: So John Domenico is joining us coming up in a little bit here on Vegas Revealed.
- 1:17Sean McAllister: Uh he's h absolutely hilarious.
- 1:19Sean McAllister: I can't wait to hear what he has to say about the state of affairs and what the possible outcomes of the election mean for his career.
- 1:29Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 1:30Dayna Roselli: And he does a whole assortment of uh, well, impersonations, and they're they're really right on.
- 1:35Dayna Roselli: You gotta stay tuned for that.
- 1:37Dayna Roselli: Also, I want to talk about a couple big things happening in Las Vegas.
- 1:40Dayna Roselli: One, we got some numbers in.
- 1:42Dayna Roselli: Uh, we always like to take a look at the visitation numbers, and obviously, you know, they're more impactful than ever with the huge dip in visitors' numbers that we've had since the pandemic, but it looks like September was okay, Sean, a little bit better than it was in August.
- 1:59Dayna Roselli: And that's that's a bright spot.
- 2:00Sean McAllister: Yeah, so over the summer in August, there were about one and a half million visitors who came here to Las Vegas.
- 2:07Sean McAllister: That was up in September to just over 1.7 million visitors.
- 2:12Sean McAllister: So that is a trend that we like to see, about a 10% increase there.
- 2:17Dayna Roselli: Yeah, so we'll take it.
- 2:18Dayna Roselli: Uh the Cromwell is finally open, which is the last resort casino to open on the strip.
- 2:24Dayna Roselli: So now we officially have all our properties open.
- 2:27Dayna Roselli: Uh, you and I have been seeing a lot of rumblings and a lot of talk about some of these hotels kind of closing midweek.
- 2:33Dayna Roselli: I know there are a couple properties that already do that.
- 2:36Dayna Roselli: I think it's Planet Hollywood and also even the Palazzo early on.
- 2:40Dayna Roselli: But, you know, we're not getting that midweek weekday visitation like we are on the weekends, which are doing pretty good.
- 2:47Sean McAllister: Well, and Las Vegas has always depended on uh the convention business to bring visitors midweek.
- 2:53Sean McAllister: That's not too typically the time when when tourists would come here.
- 2:57Sean McAllister: And until uh convention business gets back to what it needs to be for the city, I think that midweek business is still just gonna be really weak.
- 3:06Sean McAllister: So it's not surprising that um there are properties that might be thinking about uh closing during the week, which we don't love to hear that, but you know, it it makes sense with what's going on.
- 3:20Sean McAllister: Again, these are just rumors at this point, nothing has officially been confirmed, but we will let you know the the status of those rumors.
- 3:28Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and both of you and I have been out on the weekends here, and it's it's really busy, I must say, in Las Vegas.
- 3:33Dayna Roselli: So people are coming when they can to take a break from whether it's uh working from home, virtual school at home, or you know, not working at home and just getting away.
- 3:43Dayna Roselli: So uh we welcome everyone.
- 3:45Dayna Roselli: You and I were in downtown Las Vegas midweek on a Tuesday night to kick off uh the grand opening of Circa Las Vegas.
- 3:54Dayna Roselli: We were actually there from uh seven to midnight, and actually a little bit past midnight when the doors officially opened.
- 4:00Dayna Roselli: We were there for this preview VIP party, and what an occasion.
- 4:04Sean McAllister: Oh my gosh, it was incredible.
- 4:06Sean McAllister: I think the biggest black tie affair that Las Vegas has seen in months since the shutdown in March.
- 4:14Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and the first masked affair, too, a black tie event that I've ever been to.
- 4:18Dayna Roselli: We were all in masks.
- 4:20Sean McAllister: Which made it very interesting for uh conversation purposes because everyone was wearing a mask, and I have to say, um I would the the guidelines were followed.
- 4:33Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 4:33Dayna Roselli: The guidelines were followed.
- 4:34Dayna Roselli: People were, you know, taking off their masks for a sip of wine and that kind of thing.
- 4:38Dayna Roselli: But uh for the most part, you know, everyone was dressed to the nines and they had their mask on.
- 4:43Dayna Roselli: So we're gonna have more details about our experience coming up in our tips.
- 4:47Dayna Roselli: We interviewed Chef Barry and we also gambled a little at midnight, and we have a little account of that all coming up in our tips.
- 4:55Dayna Roselli: It was a wild night.
- 4:56Dayna Roselli: We've got some funny stories to share coming up.
- 4:58Sean McAllister: It was a bit crazy.
- 5:00Sean McAllister: It was.
- 5:00Sean McAllister: Um, but uh, you know, one of the biggest events all year long in Las Vegas is New Year's Eve.
- 5:08Sean McAllister: There's hundreds of thousands of visitors who who plan all year to come to Las Vegas to ring in the new year.
- 5:15Sean McAllister: Uh, but it the festivities will be a bit different this year, a little less festive, I guess you could say.
- 5:22Dayna Roselli: Uh our fireworks were canceled.
- 5:24Dayna Roselli: A big announcement came this week, and you know, usually fireworks, you know, fly off like seven buildings on the strips.
- 5:30Dayna Roselli: It's one of the biggest things every year.
- 5:32Dayna Roselli: They shut down the strip and they allow it to just be foot traffic.
- 5:36Dayna Roselli: So it's a very rare occasion.
- 5:38Dayna Roselli: Uh, I've worked every New Year's Eve on the strip for the pretty much the 15 years I've been here.
- 5:43Dayna Roselli: It's a spectacular event and it brings in about more than I think 300,000 people, Sean, and a lot of money.
- 5:50Dayna Roselli: I think they were saying it we average taking in about 250 million just from all the tourists that come in and the visitors just to celebrate New Year's Eve.
- 5:59Sean McAllister: Yeah, so the the not having the fireworks is going to make it uh definitely a different atmosphere here in Las Vegas.
- 6:09Sean McAllister: And not having Las Vegas Boulevard shut down and packed with people is going to be a different experience.
- 6:17Sean McAllister: But that's not to say that you can't still come here and have a good time.
- 6:21Sean McAllister: It just means that, you know, all the free public festivities aren't going to be happening, but you can still come here, you can still see the shows that are opening, you can go to a nice dinner, and I'm sure that there will be uh some private parties that are happening on the Las Vegas strip too.
- 6:38Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and you can gamble, you know, once 2020's behind us, I mean, we all need to place a bed at midnight and hope for the best.
- 6:44Dayna Roselli: But that's true.
- 6:46Dayna Roselli: And downtown Las Vegas, uh Jonathan Jocel, the CEO of the plaza, said he's still gonna have uh fireworks there in downtown Las Vegas.
- 6:54Dayna Roselli: So it's basically our strip, big spectacular that we aren't gonna have.
- 6:58Dayna Roselli: But like you mentioned, I mean, a lot of the hotel casinos are gonna do events and have special things going on.
- 7:04Dayna Roselli: So it's still a place to come and celebrate.
- 7:06Dayna Roselli: But you know what, it's for the best for safety.
- 7:08Dayna Roselli: We can't be shoulder to shoulder a sea of, you know, 300,000 people in the middle of the strip at a time like this because we don't really, it's kind of the unknown and we don't, we don't know still where we're gonna be number wise and attentions are high and all sorts of stuff.
- 7:22Dayna Roselli: I I think it's a good, I'm gonna have to say I think it was a good call.
- 7:26Dayna Roselli: You, Sean?
- 7:27Sean McAllister: Yeah, it's a smart move not to have the fireworks this year.
- 7:30Sean McAllister: Anything that's going to encourage congregating of large crowds, obviously not a smart idea.
- 7:37Sean McAllister: So, you know, it's the smart move.
- 7:39Sean McAllister: It needed to be done, even though it is a disappointing move.
- 7:43Dayna Roselli: That's right.
- 7:44Dayna Roselli: All right, we want to get to our guest today.
- 7:46Dayna Roselli: So we're gonna take a quick break and we're gonna come back with uh John D.
- 7:51Dayna Roselli: Domenico.
- 7:52Dayna Roselli: He's fabulous.
- 7:53Dayna Roselli: You gotta hear his take on, you know, being one of those people that acts and does comedy uh and impersonates Donald Trump because he's had a very, very successful four years and he's in high demand this week.
- 8:07Dayna Roselli: John, he took he took 20 minutes to hang with us, and and we're excited about it.
- 8:12Sean McAllister: It'll be a beautiful interview, the most beautiful interview ever done coming up next on Vegas Revealed.
- 8:17Dayna Roselli: Wow, you're pretty good too.
- 8:20Dayna Roselli: Thanks for listening to Vegas Revealed.
- 8:22Dayna Roselli: Remember, you can always go to our website at Vegas Dash Revealed.com.

- 8:42Dayna Roselli: Hey everyone, welcome back to Vegas Revealed.
- 8:45Dayna Roselli: It is election week, and we thought, how can we do like a Vegasy kind of election interview?
- 8:51Sean McAllister: And the kind of the two don't usually go together, but Yeah, and you know, this is uh one of those elections that obviously here in the United States, uh our listeners have been paying attention to it, but we also have a lot of listeners overseas, and no doubt our president has caught their attention too.
- 9:10Dayna Roselli: That's right.
- 9:10Dayna Roselli: And we have on with us today John Domenico.
- 9:14Dayna Roselli: He is a comedian, a writer, an actor.
- 9:17Dayna Roselli: Sean and I have interviewed him for years here in Las Vegas.
- 9:20Dayna Roselli: How are you?
- 9:21SPEAKER_08: Well, I'm absolutely fantastic, I have to tell you.
- 9:25SPEAKER_06: Oh, wait a minute.
- 9:25SPEAKER_06: I don't need to be the president.
- 9:26SPEAKER_06: I can be I'm great.
- 9:29SPEAKER_06: I'm I'm great.
- 9:30SPEAKER_06: Uh great to be here in my home in Las Vegas working and producing content for around the world.
- 9:37Dayna Roselli: Oh my goodness.
- 9:37Dayna Roselli: I mean, what a busy, first of all, I mean, four years you've had, I should say, and a very busy week coming up.
- 9:43Dayna Roselli: Now, you uh do some great bits as Donald Trump, amazing, but we've also interviewed you through the years.
- 9:50Dayna Roselli: You do other things like Austin Powers and what else?
- 9:53Dayna Roselli: Austin Powers, baby, yeah.
- 9:57SPEAKER_06: Dr.
- 9:58SPEAKER_06: Evil.
- 9:59SPEAKER_06: Uh I do Dr.
- 10:00SPEAKER_06: Phil.
- 10:01SPEAKER_06: What were you thinking?
- 10:03SPEAKER_06: Larry King Live, coming to you live from Los Angeles, right here.
- 10:09SPEAKER_06: Yeah, I do a bunch of you know, quick day Leno.
- 10:11SPEAKER_06: Hey, you guys doing?
- 10:12SPEAKER_06: Good to see you.
- 10:13SPEAKER_06: It's so great to be on the show.
- 10:14SPEAKER_06: You know, I'm in Las Vegas all the time.
- 10:17SPEAKER_06: All the time.
- 10:18Dayna Roselli: You're really good at that.
- 10:19Dayna Roselli: Oh my gosh.
- 10:20Dayna Roselli: It just feels good to laugh.
- 10:21Dayna Roselli: And I know that's really what you are trying to just really accomplish with all this, right?
- 10:26SPEAKER_06: Yeah, you know, I don't have an axe to grind.
- 10:29SPEAKER_06: I don't have a, you know, there are people who do political characters and they have their own agenda, especially more on the national stage.
- 10:37SPEAKER_06: You know, for me, I'm I'm an actor, comedian.
- 10:41SPEAKER_06: I want to, I'm, you know, I'm old school.
- 10:43SPEAKER_06: I want to make everybody laugh.
- 10:44SPEAKER_06: I don't feel that I should be forcing my political views on anyone.
- 10:49SPEAKER_06: And honestly, like no one cares.
- 10:50SPEAKER_06: Do you know what I mean?
- 10:51SPEAKER_06: Everyone just wants to be entertained and they don't want anything pushed in their face.
- 10:57Sean McAllister: Yeah, and obviously, over the last four years, the the one character that has really stood out and that really has, I mean, expanded your horizons and brought you to new audiences is President Trump.
- 11:12Sean McAllister: So if we can talk over.
- 11:14SPEAKER_05: I thought you were gonna say Bill Clinton.
- 11:16SPEAKER_05: Hey, how you doing?
- 11:18SPEAKER_05: Is Hillary there?
- 11:19SPEAKER_05: I can't find her.
- 11:23SPEAKER_02: I've interviewed President Clinton once, let me tell you, one-on-one, and you sound just like him.
- 11:28SPEAKER_05: That's right.
- 11:28SPEAKER_05: You know, he he he is he's always running out of oxygen, that's why he's got that scratchy voice.
- 11:35SPEAKER_06: I love it.
- 11:36SPEAKER_06: I love it.
- 11:37SPEAKER_06: But Trump has been this, it's you know, I'm very lucky because I started doing him back in 2004, and I started following him back about 1985.
- 11:47SPEAKER_06: So I've had this really long runway with him, and it's been it's it's just been you know, right place, right time.
- 11:54Sean McAllister: And and so in that long runway of time and the observations that you've had over the years, has anything changed with his mannerisms in in the past four years?
- 12:05SPEAKER_06: Well, you know what's really it's fascinating, you know, because I I had a speech impediment as a child, and that's uh I was in eight years of speech therapy, and I was actually doing voices uh when I was five, and uh when I did the voices, I didn't have the speech impediment, so I did eight years of speech therapy, and you learn over time when you're working with a speech pathologist that we're all kind of fixed in a way that we speak, but Trump defies that.
- 12:32SPEAKER_06: He he adds vocal ticks, they disappear, he adds things to the way he speaks.
- 12:38SPEAKER_06: Um and I'll give you a perfect example.
- 12:40SPEAKER_06: Um the day after the election, uh the day after the inauguration, he went to the CIA and he did something he'd never done before.
- 12:47SPEAKER_07: And I you know, I study this guy, but he's at the CIA and he says, you know, you know, I'm I look out, I look out, and I see all these people, I see all these people, all these incredible people, and the press, the press, they say, There's nobody there.
- 13:03SPEAKER_07: There's nobody there.
- 13:04SPEAKER_06: And he does this, he does this whisper that I had honestly never heard before.
- 13:08SPEAKER_06: And then during the campaign he goes ping bong pong ping ding ping bong pong ping dong, which is uh since has disappeared.
- 13:18Sean McAllister: That is so crazy.
- 13:21SPEAKER_06: Yeah, and then during the um and during the debates he added the well, I have to tell you, no, Hillary's a puppet.
- 13:28SPEAKER_06: You know, the sniffs became part of the whole thing, which was very interesting, and I had never heard that before.
- 13:33SPEAKER_06: So you kind of start folding these things in, and then the last few weeks he's been very he's somewhat tired, and his voice is tired, so you can hear him straining to talk, straining to talk a little bit, but he's tells because of the regenerant.
- 13:47SPEAKER_06: I have so much energy, so much.
- 13:50Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I mean, I was watching your your cli your clip that's pinned to the top of your Twitter about when you know the president tested negative.
- 13:57Dayna Roselli: And it is, I mean, you can't help but just it's it's like you're watching him.
- 14:04SPEAKER_06: A bunch of stuff that I've done.
- 14:05SPEAKER_06: I've I started saying Kung Flu back in March.
- 14:08SPEAKER_06: That was in a lot of my content on my YouTube channel, and then he picked it up in in the summer.
- 14:13SPEAKER_06: I'm thinking, is this guy watching my videos?
- 14:17SPEAKER_06: Is he watching my stuff?
- 14:18SPEAKER_06: This is like the fourth time this has happened.
- 14:21Sean McAllister: Now now the White House has never ordered a cameo, have they?
- 14:23SPEAKER_06: No, they have not.
- 14:24SPEAKER_06: But um, but I get I've gotten cameo requests from people that like very well-known people for other well-known people.
- 14:37SPEAKER_06: And I've always been blown away by when the names come in.
- 14:41SPEAKER_06: I know who they are because I I spent a year, I've I've always been fascinated by politics.
- 14:45SPEAKER_06: I spent a year as an intern for a U.S.
- 14:47SPEAKER_06: senator, so I've always kept it up, obviously more now than ever.
- 14:52SPEAKER_06: Uh, but it's very interesting to see who comes in.
- 14:54SPEAKER_06: One I can say is uh Donatella uh Versace, I got one from her assistant for her birthday, which I thought was just really cool.
- 15:03SPEAKER_06: Um Wow.
- 15:05SPEAKER_06: Yeah, that's true.
- 15:09SPEAKER_06: And then um I did one for uh Matt Goss, which I did get to see the reaction video.
- 15:14SPEAKER_06: So that's you know, that was a local thing, but it was really, really cool.
- 15:16Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I was there, I watched it, it was hilarious.
- 15:18Dayna Roselli: We were dying, you were commenting on his blue eyes, and and it was so funny.
- 15:22SPEAKER_06: You know, most English people not attractive, not attractive people, I have to tell you.
- 15:27SPEAKER_08: Matt, I don't know what they did with him, but he's a good looking guy, good looking guy.
- 15:33Sean McAllister: And as divisive as uh Donald Trump is as a uh political figure, have you had that type of reaction from people who see your videos?
- 15:45Sean McAllister: Or has it not not too much?
- 15:47SPEAKER_06: And kind of opposite.
- 15:48SPEAKER_06: Here's here's the thing.
- 15:49SPEAKER_06: I mean, when someone doesn't like someone, you wouldn't think they'd order a cameo, but my cameo orders, and I do about 10 a day, are usually like 60% pro-Trump and 40%.
- 16:01SPEAKER_06: Literally, they say there's one that I have to do to say it's like my mom hates Trump.
- 16:06SPEAKER_06: It would be hilarious to have a birthday message from her.
- 16:09SPEAKER_06: So the the beauty of Trump, not necessarily as president, but as who he is, just affects people so viscerally.
- 16:19SPEAKER_06: And I always think about the story of uh Colonel Tom Parker, uh Elvis' manager.
- 16:24SPEAKER_06: When Elvis took off, you know, he was a phenomenon and you know, obviously Colonel Tom made buttons that said, I love Elvis.
- 16:31SPEAKER_06: And he saw how a lot of the boys hated Elvis, so he made buttons that said, I hate Elvis.
- 16:37SPEAKER_06: So so he, you know, it's one of these things where people if they love him, they really love him, and if they hate him, they love to hate him.
- 16:47SPEAKER_06: Kind of the way people hate listen to Howard Stern years ago.
- 16:51SPEAKER_06: So it's he draws people in even if they don't like him, which is fascinating.
- 16:58SPEAKER_06: The psychology behind that is fascinating.
- 17:00Dayna Roselli: No, and I noticed by the a lot of the comments under your YouTubes and your social media, people are pretty popular just saying, you know, it's funny, it's right on.
- 17:08Dayna Roselli: Wow, this has really made me laugh.
- 17:10Dayna Roselli: Oh my gosh, I feel like I'm what you know, listening to the president.
- 17:13Dayna Roselli: So people seem to get a kick out of it, and there doesn't seem like there's a lot of you know, tons of negativity towards you in any way.
- 17:19Dayna Roselli: You're just kind of making people people smile.
- 17:21SPEAKER_06: I want to make, yeah, I want to make the satire of it.
- 17:22SPEAKER_06: I'll give you the perfect example.
- 17:24SPEAKER_06: When I was doing the um totally outrageous show at the SLS, which is now back to being the Sahara, you know, the show would end and people come up to me and say, Hey, we're from Minnesota and we love Trump, and that was really funny, because I did like a 12-minute set in the show, and then 10 seconds later, someone comes up to and says, Hey, we're from LA, we hate Trump, but that was really funny.
- 17:45SPEAKER_06: So, you know, if I can entertain both sides of the aisle with this character, and you know, non-political characters, it really doesn't matter.
- 17:53SPEAKER_06: But if I can entertain both sides of the aisle aisle and make everybody laugh and maybe bring people together in that in that moment, I I think that's a really good thing.
- 18:04Sean McAllister: And you mentioned uh Howard Stern just a second ago, and you've caught his attention too.
- 18:10SPEAKER_06: Yes, I made my fourth appearance earlier this week, and I am I'm not I'm scheduled, and I say scheduled because they're kind of they'll change things there.
- 18:20SPEAKER_06: I'm scheduled to be back on um uh as Trump on uh election day and the day after, but you never know.
- 18:27SPEAKER_06: There's they're very kind of organic there.
- 18:30Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 18:30Dayna Roselli: When you've done so many shows, and and I was gonna ask you, uh, like because this president, like I've always felt like, oh, you need to respect the president, it's not appropriate to make fun this and that.
- 18:39Dayna Roselli: But I mean, this president, you know, calls people names, make fun of people.
- 18:44Dayna Roselli: For the first time in my life, I felt like, well, I mean, I guess if people joke around about him in some ways, it's it's okay because he gives it out and he's gotta be prepared to take it back because he's he's the leader, he's setting the path, right?
- 18:58Dayna Roselli: So do you feel like it makes it a little bit easier because he is the type to just make fun of anyone anyway?
- 19:04SPEAKER_06: Yeah, because he, you know, that that is literally his brand.
- 19:08SPEAKER_06: There's two things about Trump it's the name calling, uh, which he's always done from literally go back anywhere in his career, and then also he always needs a villain.
- 19:19SPEAKER_06: And and you know, like I said, I've been following him since the mid-80s.
- 19:22SPEAKER_06: He's always needs a villain.
- 19:23SPEAKER_06: So that's kind of part of his whole shit that it's the you know, this guy is a total moron, total moron, but it could be the guy who you know sends rockets into space, so it's always a part of it where he himself says, you know, it's it's like wrestling.
- 19:42SPEAKER_06: He he's part of it is tongue-in-cheek, and you can tell the times when he really means it.
- 19:48Sean McAllister: Yeah, but bottom line, it's all a big show.
- 19:50SPEAKER_06: Yeah, and and he himself has has said that.
- 19:54SPEAKER_06: And how long have you been in Las Vegas?
- 19:56SPEAKER_06: I I've been here nine years.
- 19:58SPEAKER_06: Okay.
- 19:59SPEAKER_06: And it's a b I can honestly say it is the best move I've ever made in my life.
- 20:04SPEAKER_06: I love Philadelphia where I'm from, and I love New York where I started.
- 20:08SPEAKER_06: But when I got here nine years ago, I was welcomed by the entertainment community.
- 20:14SPEAKER_06: I was folded into the community, I was introduced to people.
- 20:17SPEAKER_06: I've never felt so supported, so loved.
- 20:22SPEAKER_06: There is not a sense of competition here where people have their knives out.
- 20:26SPEAKER_06: Everyone wants to help one another.
- 20:29SPEAKER_06: And it and here there's it's a little different.
- 20:32SPEAKER_06: We're in New York and the actors are with the actors, and the comedians are with the comedians, and the dancers are with the dancers, and the theater people with the theater people.
- 20:39SPEAKER_06: Here it's all mixed together.
- 20:41SPEAKER_06: You you know, you know people who are aerialists from the surf, and you know singers from the nightclubs, and you know people from production shows, and it's a really beautiful uh mix of people.
- 20:53SPEAKER_06: It's an incredibly supportive group of people.
- 20:56SPEAKER_06: My heart breaks for a lot of my friends who are struggling right now during COVID because all they want to do is get in front of an audience and perform, and they can't do it.
- 21:07SPEAKER_06: It just it just it just sucks.
- 21:09SPEAKER_06: You know, there's just no other word for it.
- 21:12Dayna Roselli: Yeah, no, it's true.
- 21:13Dayna Roselli: It's true.
- 21:14Dayna Roselli: It's it's you know, at a time where your work keeps rolling, you know, yeah, yeah.
- 21:19Dayna Roselli: And and it won't go away.
- 21:21Dayna Roselli: I mean, win or lose this election.
- 21:23SPEAKER_06: Winner lose, yeah.
- 21:23SPEAKER_06: And and you know, funny thing is, even before the last election, people would say to me, Hey, what's gonna happen if uh Trump doesn't win?
- 21:29SPEAKER_06: I'm like, Are you kidding me?
- 21:31SPEAKER_06: This guy, you know, after a nuclear holocaust, he's still gonna be around.
- 21:36SPEAKER_06: Well, he is such a person he's such an iconic American personality.
- 21:41SPEAKER_06: So if he doesn't win, he's never going to shut up.
- 21:45SPEAKER_06: He'll be tweeting until the day he, you know, the day he moves on.
- 21:49SPEAKER_06: So he's just that that powerful.
- 21:53Sean McAllister: And with that said, uh given that uh this is election week uh across the United States.
- 22:00Sean McAllister: States.
- 22:00Sean McAllister: The the final votes will be cast on Tuesday.
- 22:04Sean McAllister: The results will uh come in whenever they come in.
- 22:07Sean McAllister: But can you give us uh your prediction of what we might be hearing uh from uh Donald Trump in the coming days?
- 22:15SPEAKER_06: Well, it's gonna be a Trump slide, it's gonna be absolutely incredible.
- 22:19SPEAKER_06: And after this election, we're getting rid of the Electoral College and we're gonna replace it with Trump University.
- 22:25SPEAKER_08: Everyone's gonna get a free class.
- 22:27SPEAKER_08: It's gonna be absolutely tremendous, I have to tell you.
- 22:32Dayna Roselli: I love it, I love it.
- 22:34Dayna Roselli: And now uh we can find you across the board on you're on YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, all that, right?
- 22:39SPEAKER_06: Right, and I try to put up different content on each one.
- 22:42SPEAKER_06: If you want to see my long form comedy, that's gonna be on YouTube.
- 22:47SPEAKER_06: Uh there's a lot of stuff there.
- 22:49SPEAKER_06: I'm on TikTok, I now have two million followers, and uh obviously that's short form, that's 15 to 30 seconds, so we're doing things totally different there, different things going on Instagram.
- 22:59SPEAKER_06: So if you're following me in different places, I try to give you a different experience on each one.
- 23:05Dayna Roselli: And then on Cameo, because I know, like you said, you're popular, so we go to Cameo, we look you up, and then we we type in a scenario, right?
- 23:13Dayna Roselli: Like uh if it's a birthday or whatever, like I can give you a real one.
- 23:16Dayna Roselli: Okay, my parents they like Donald Trump.
- 23:18Dayna Roselli: They their 50th anniversary is coming up on November 7th.
- 23:22Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and so if I were to order a cameo, I'd put all those details, Diane and Pat and their names, and you'd you'd just bust out a video.
- 23:29SPEAKER_06: Yeah, I would be like, hello, Diane and Pat.
- 23:32SPEAKER_06: It's me, President Trump, your favorite president.
- 23:35SPEAKER_06: I'm down here in the press room, in the press room because there's some real news.
- 23:38SPEAKER_06: Real news.
- 23:39SPEAKER_06: You two are celebrating your 50th anniversary, which is incredible because I've been married three times and I'm not even close to that.
- 23:46SPEAKER_06: I have to love it.
- 23:50SPEAKER_06: So then I would take the additional details and you know you love them like so I have a bit for like each one of those things.
- 23:56SPEAKER_06: I usually hit my cameos around about four to five minutes because it's just there's so much raw material.
- 24:04SPEAKER_06: And I have a White House and a press room set here in my house.
- 24:07SPEAKER_06: So I shoot those on the set here.
- 24:10SPEAKER_02: I love it.
- 24:11SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh.
- 24:12SPEAKER_02: What a what a fun what a fun life.
- 24:14SPEAKER_06: Yeah, cameo, and I have to say, I mean, I've been very lucky.
- 24:17SPEAKER_06: I've been working corporately because I have an audio studio here and a TV studio and a green screen studio.
- 24:22SPEAKER_06: But cameo has been absolutely amazing.
- 24:25SPEAKER_06: I've done 1200 as of this week.
- 24:28SPEAKER_06: I started this time last year and I've shot 1200.
- 24:33Dayna Roselli: Incredible, incredible.
- 24:35Dayna Roselli: And and and you're lifting people's spirits, and you know, it is it is something that people are really getting into, especially I noticed even during the pandemic when people are having trouble getting together and really celebrating, that cameo has really just become so popular.
- 24:50SPEAKER_06: It's incredible.
- 24:51SPEAKER_06: And my my my my representative, the person I deal with there, had said loaded the number of sports figures, singers, everyone you know has to come over to cameo.
- 25:05SPEAKER_06: Like they've actually become somewhat um uh what's the right word?
- 25:09SPEAKER_06: Uh they now have a little more discriminating taste on who they hell out.
- 25:14SPEAKER_06: Right?
- 25:15SPEAKER_06: They're limiting, they're limiting the people, but I'm really I feel so lucky.
- 25:19SPEAKER_06: I'm number one in politics, and I'm beating out real politicians, which is actually hilarious.
- 25:25Sean McAllister: Yeah, that's incredible.
- 25:26Sean McAllister: Well, John, we're so glad to uh have the time to chat with you here on uh election week, and glad to have you part of the Las Vegas community as well.
- 25:36SPEAKER_06: Oh, I'm I'm so grateful to be here.
- 25:38SPEAKER_06: Thanks for having me on the show.
- 25:39SPEAKER_06: I really appreciate it.
- 25:41Dayna Roselli: All right, and uh best of luck to you, whichever way the election goes, President.
- 25:46SPEAKER_06: If Biden wins, I'm gonna have to learn how to say malarkey! Malarkey Donald Trump guy.
- 25:54SPEAKER_05: Uh uh this guy, I have to tell you.
- 26:01SPEAKER_02: That's a good one.
- 26:02SPEAKER_02: That's a good one.
- 26:03SPEAKER_02: You've you've got them all down.
- 26:04SPEAKER_02: I love it, John.
- 26:05SPEAKER_02: Listen, have a great day, and thanks for joining us.
- 26:08SPEAKER_02: You too.
- 26:08SPEAKER_02: Thanks.
- 26:09Sean McAllister: Our two tips are next on Vegas Reveal.
- 26:19Dayna Roselli: Welcome back, and it is time for Dana and Sean's secret tips.
- 26:23Dayna Roselli: And you know what?
- 26:24Dayna Roselli: We want to talk about Circa because we went to the pre-grand opening party, and let me tell you, we have a lot to talk about, and some involve tips, some involve just wacky stories.
- 26:36Sean McAllister: Yeah, and I think we're gonna start out with the wacky stories because you might have seen a picture posted on our Vegas revealed Instagram, and you might be wondering, what the heck is Dana doing?
- 26:48Sean McAllister: She's got on sunglasses, she's kind of bent over, her shoes are a little bit kicked off, and it looked like there was a situation happening, and that's because there was a situation happening.
- 27:02Sean McAllister: So, Dana, I'll let you take it away.
- 27:04Dayna Roselli: Well, Sean, we hadn't been out, you know, to like a classy event in so long.
- 27:08Dayna Roselli: So uh, you know, it's a big deal, right?
- 27:10Dayna Roselli: So I I I get in my my dress, my my Sergio Rossi heels with the, you know, with the like you know, little crystals on them.
- 27:19Dayna Roselli: I'm all set to go.
- 27:21Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 27:22Dayna Roselli: Well, I get there and like literally, like, I don't even know, like 45 minutes after we were there, I just started to like not be able to walk in my shoes.
- 27:29Dayna Roselli: I couldn't figure it out because they've always fit perfect.
- 27:32Dayna Roselli: I'm good at walking in high heels.
- 27:34Dayna Roselli: But like it was like they were bigger than normal.
- 27:36Dayna Roselli: I'm like, did my feet grow?
- 27:38Dayna Roselli: What's going on?
- 27:39Dayna Roselli: So I looked at you guys in panic, like, we've got a lot of places to go and walk around.
- 27:43Dayna Roselli: So I don't really know what to do here because I can't just take my shoes off.
- 27:47Dayna Roselli: I'm not one of those people to walk around in my bare feet.
- 27:49Sean McAllister: Well, in the first sign of trouble, so Dana, when I first saw you, when we first met up inside circa for the big grand opening party, I was coming over to you.
- 28:02Sean McAllister: We were talking on the phone so that we could find each other.
- 28:04Sean McAllister: You turned around and you like just fell out of your shoe.
- 28:10Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 28:11Dayna Roselli: Like I was wearing like like like if I was a little kid and I was wearing my mom's slippers.
- 28:16Dayna Roselli: Exactly.
- 28:17Dayna Roselli: Exactly.
- 28:18Sean McAllister: So so that was I didn't think anything of that, but then as the night went on, it almost looked like you were ice skating inside of your shoes.
- 28:29Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 28:29Dayna Roselli: My friend Melissa said I looked like I was walking in mud or something.
- 28:32Dayna Roselli: I don't know.
- 28:33Dayna Roselli: It was like weird.
- 28:34Dayna Roselli: So we couldn't figure it out, but it is what it is, right?
- 28:36Dayna Roselli: How are we gonna solve this problem?
- 28:38Dayna Roselli: So you uh and and my friend Melissa were very smart in saying, hey, like we could go buy flip-flops.
- 28:44Dayna Roselli: I had flip-flop flops in my car, but it was really far away.
- 28:47Dayna Roselli: So I was like, great, and we looked and there was a swim store, thank goodness, right?
- 28:52Dayna Roselli: And it was open.
- 28:52Dayna Roselli: And we weren't sure if it was gonna be open because the property didn't actually open until midnight, and this is like 8:30.
- 28:59Sean McAllister: But thank goodness the the merchandise was on sale.
- 29:03Sean McAllister: There was someone at the register, and it was like the savior of the night finding the swim store that sold flip-flops for Dana.
- 29:13Dayna Roselli: That's right.
- 29:14Dayna Roselli: So we get in there, and I had no choice but to buy$39 flip-flops.
- 29:18Dayna Roselli: Uh they're very nice, they're black with little little shimmeries on them.
- 29:22Dayna Roselli: And uh then I started trying on the sunglasses, and then I went to buy the flip-flops.
- 29:26Dayna Roselli: I forgot to take the sunglasses off.
- 29:28Dayna Roselli: So I'm masked.
- 29:29Dayna Roselli: I'm wearing sunglasses, I'm in a black dress, black flip-flops, holding Sergio Rossi's in my hand, and and and we moved on with the night.
- 29:37Sean McAllister: And we were a bit giddy even at that point.
- 29:40Dayna Roselli: Yeah, we had a couple glasses of wine, and then um listen, it was a it was a fabulous night.
- 29:45Dayna Roselli: We got to see a lot of familiar faces, but it was weird being masked, right?
- 29:48Dayna Roselli: Because some faces we recognized, and others you had to be like, wait, who are you?
- 29:52Sean McAllister: Well, it's difficult to decipher who a person is by just seeing like the bridge of their nose and their eyes.
- 30:01Sean McAllister: You know, that's it was there were people who I've known for over a decade who I ran into and I didn't realize who they were until they said, Hey, Sean, it's me.
- 30:17Sean McAllister: And I was like, oh, okay.
- 30:21Sean McAllister: It's tough.
- 30:22Dayna Roselli: It is tough, it is tough.
- 30:24Dayna Roselli: So we were, you know, moving around, mingling.
- 30:27Dayna Roselli: I think the sports book is incredible.
- 30:28Dayna Roselli: It's three levels, it's gorgeous.
- 30:30Dayna Roselli: We went out to stadium swim.
- 30:32Dayna Roselli: We had to go up the long escalator.
- 30:33Dayna Roselli: That's where kind of the ceremony was.
- 30:35Dayna Roselli: There were synchronized swimmers out there.
- 30:37Dayna Roselli: Derek Stevens, the owner, and his wife came down the middle aisle with showgirls.
- 30:42Dayna Roselli: You know, the mayor and and former mayor Oscar Goodman were there.
- 30:45Dayna Roselli: It was a whole thing.
- 30:46Sean McAllister: A big production for sure.
- 30:48Sean McAllister: And uh by the way, you mentioned the escalator.
- 30:51Sean McAllister: I do believe that is the longest escalator in the world.
- 30:56Dayna Roselli: Yes, I think so.
- 30:58Sean McAllister: And I believe it's we were on it for a while.
- 31:01Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and I'm in this whole germ thing, so I'm not trying not to touch the sides, right?
- 31:05Dayna Roselli: So we're like standing there, don't touch the sides, don't touch the sides, trying to balance.
- 31:09Dayna Roselli: Thank god I had my flip-flops because you know it was a long ride up the escalator.
- 31:14Sean McAllister: It was, but it was worth it.
- 31:16Sean McAllister: Stadium swim is amazing.
- 31:18Sean McAllister: Uh all around Circa is just a really nice and classy property.
- 31:26Sean McAllister: And uh one of their premier restaurants that they have there is uh by Chef Barry, who a lot of us have gotten to know over the years uh from launching Nine Steakhouse over at the Palms.
- 31:41Dayna Roselli: That's right.
- 31:42Dayna Roselli: And we saw him there when we walked inside and we thought, oh, we need to grab Chef Barry and and interview him, and and we need to know what do we need to order and what's different about this restaurant than Nine at uh the Palms.
- 31:53Dayna Roselli: And so it's Barry's Downtown Prime, it's the big feature restaurant at Circa.
- 31:58Dayna Roselli: And here's our chat with Chef Barry.
- 32:00Dayna Roselli: Tell us about it.
- 32:01Dayna Roselli: What's what's different?
- 32:02Dayna Roselli: What's new?
- 32:02Dayna Roselli: What's the same?
- 32:03SPEAKER_00: Well, what's different is um I'm an owner now.
- 32:05SPEAKER_00: I have three great partners, uh, and we're in a brand new restaurant, and we brought something to the table that we've always wanted to do and what we learned from in the last 20 years, and put everything together in a beautiful collaboration, and we are gonna have an amazing another 10 to 15 years, God willing, downtown Las Vegas.
- 32:25SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be so exciting like truly blessed.
- 32:27Sean McAllister: And this is an absolutely gorgeous restaurant space.
- 32:31Sean McAllister: And I know uh over at the Palms you had a door that all your celebrity guests signed.
- 32:36Sean McAllister: Do you have a designated location here?
- 32:39SPEAKER_00: Well, that that that's actually in the works.
- 32:42SPEAKER_00: Uh it will be delivered tomorrow.
- 32:44SPEAKER_00: And uh the answer is yes.
- 32:47SPEAKER_00: So it's yes.
- 32:48Dayna Roselli: Oh, I love it.
- 32:48Dayna Roselli: I mean, how are you feeling with everything that's been everyone's been so down, but it's so good to feel good about something and something opening that's new.
- 32:55SPEAKER_00: Listen, you know, I'm not a Debbie Donner, no matter.
- 32:59SPEAKER_00: I uh my dad always told me you take the you take the worst situation and you make it good.
- 33:05SPEAKER_00: Out of something bad, always something comes good, you know?
- 33:08SPEAKER_00: And that's what I that's what I do, that's how I live my life.
- 33:11SPEAKER_00: And I never think nothing is bad.
- 33:13SPEAKER_00: Every morning I wake up, it's a blessing from Christ.
- 33:15SPEAKER_00: So that's a great day.
- 33:17SPEAKER_00: Nothing can go bad.
- 33:18SPEAKER_00: Everything else than that is creepy.
- 33:20SPEAKER_00: So having the opportunity to be downtown here in Las Vegas with uh three other great partners, and Derek Stevens uh choosing me to be uh in his restaurant, ask me to do a restaurant here, it's it's just a it's just a it's a gift, it's a blessing.
- 33:35SPEAKER_00: Uh that's all I can say.
- 33:36SPEAKER_00: It's wonderful, you know, truly blessed.
- 33:38SPEAKER_03: And what kind of freedom did you have working with with Derek Stevens?
- 33:42SPEAKER_03: I know he had his big in here, but uh but did he give you a little bit uh I'll tell you what.
- 33:48SPEAKER_00: Um I worked for a lot of people and the first family that I did work for were the Blue Brothers, and they were totally awesome.
- 33:56SPEAKER_00: I worked for the Fortinas, they were great.
- 33:59SPEAKER_00: And now I'm working for the I'm working for the Stevens brothers.
- 34:02SPEAKER_00: When I tell you some of the nicest people I've met in the business, I had a hundred percent freedom to do whatever I wanted in my kitchen.
- 34:10SPEAKER_00: And uh to get a bunch of architect to design the kitchen.
- 34:14SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry, the restaurant in the kitchen.
- 34:18SPEAKER_00: If you see, I mean if you you go in Vegas, you don't see this anywhere.
- 34:22SPEAKER_00: And I I've never seen a restaurant like this anywhere, especially in Vegas with the little puppy holes in different sized rooms that we can do from 140 people sit down to small six to twelve or whatever you know.
- 34:33SPEAKER_00: So it's gonna be a great ride.
- 34:35SPEAKER_00: I'm so happy.
- 34:37Dayna Roselli: We have listeners from all over the world.
- 34:38Dayna Roselli: They're dying to come.
- 34:40Dayna Roselli: What should they order?
- 34:41Dayna Roselli: What are your three things?
- 34:44SPEAKER_00: Well, you definitely, definitely, definitely wear the steakhouse.
- 34:48SPEAKER_00: So I'm gonna tell you, you have to order the dried 40-ounce tomahawk steak.
- 34:54SPEAKER_00: You have to do, I'm bringing it back the um potato yolkies with white truffle cream.
- 35:00SPEAKER_00: You can have some shaped truffles with that if you want.
- 35:02SPEAKER_00: I'm bringing back the George's cream corn, a great dish that George Mules loved at nice steakhouse today.
- 35:08SPEAKER_00: And I'm also doing my favorite dishes, the Colorado lamb chops with Amazon pineapple crust.
- 35:13SPEAKER_00: But there's so much of in this lodge shelf with tower's uh special side that I was thinking what to do with lobster macaroni and cheese, right?
- 35:21SPEAKER_00: So now I was just sitting in bed one night and I'm thinking I'm out, right?
- 35:25SPEAKER_00: So I'm thinking lobsters here about a pound and a core.
- 35:29SPEAKER_00: I slice the lobster open, I steam it, I pull the meat out, I chop it all up, and I fill that lobster shell with macaroni and cheese with the lobster stuff.
- 35:39SPEAKER_00: Lobster, lobster mac and cheese, so it's gonna be full.
- 35:42SPEAKER_00: All the people in the world, when you come to Las Vegas, please come visit Barry's downtown Primas Chef Barry.
- 35:48SPEAKER_00: I'll come to the table.
- 35:49SPEAKER_00: I will personally buy you a nice glass of Gambino, jewels, prosecco, and it's rose, and you'll love it, and you'll taste it, and it'll be on me.
- 35:58SPEAKER_00: But just come and ask for me.
- 35:59Dayna Roselli: Love it.
- 36:00Dayna Roselli: Jeff Barry, thank you so much.
- 36:01Dayna Roselli: We're so excited to have you in Las Vegas.
- 36:03Dayna Roselli: Congratulations.
- 36:05SPEAKER_03: Great to see you, Jeff.
- 36:06Dayna Roselli: All of it sounds delicious.
- 36:08Dayna Roselli: The inside is beautiful.
- 36:09Dayna Roselli: Yeah, so check out Barry's Downtown Prime if you want to uh hit up Circa and go there for a nice dinner.
- 36:16Sean McAllister: Man, that lobster mac and cheese, Chef Barry sold it.
- 36:20Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 36:21Dayna Roselli: So good.
- 36:22Dayna Roselli: Sounds so good.
- 36:23Dayna Roselli: Um, okay, so then midnight, you know, comes around and we're like, okay, now Circa's open.
- 36:28Dayna Roselli: So we're looking at all these machines and we're like, well, we need to play something.
- 36:31Dayna Roselli: So we went for the digital roulette, and um I didn't win, you didn't win, but your husband won, so we kind of feel like we won because it was part of the group, right?
- 36:41Sean McAllister: Yeah, exactly.
- 36:42Sean McAllister: And I don't I felt like no matter what number Shane was putting his chips on, like it hit.
- 36:50Sean McAllister: Like every like route spin after spin, it was landing on his numbers.
- 36:57Sean McAllister: And so we we got up to you know, put in 20 bucks in the machine and got up over a hundred pretty quickly.
- 37:04Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and I was proud of him because he hit cash out, and that's the most important thing to do.
- 37:09Dayna Roselli: But we whipped out the voice recorder, and we have this moment on record.
- 37:13Dayna Roselli: So, you know what?
- 37:14Dayna Roselli: Oh no, share it with the podcast listeners.
- 37:16Dayna Roselli: Stay slowly, take a listen.
- 37:18Dayna Roselli: This is going down in history.
- 37:19SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we played some of the games here for the first time ever.
- 37:23SPEAKER_03: The first time that people actually played the games, lost money on them, won money on them.
- 37:29SPEAKER_03: We lost for the first time.
- 37:31SPEAKER_03: But it's the first$101 that anybody has ever won on the like digital roulette game outside Saginaw's delicatessen.
- 37:42Dayna Roselli: Well, thank goodness, Sean.
- 37:44Dayna Roselli: You got a room next door because um, you know, as you can tell by your enthusiasm, it was a it was a good night.
- 37:51Sean McAllister: Yeah, it it it was a good night.
- 37:53Sean McAllister: It was uh feeling very good after midnight there.
- 37:57Dayna Roselli: Here's the thing though, your room at the downtown grand, what did it cost?
- 38:01Dayna Roselli: 35 bucks?
- 38:02Sean McAllister: It was 35 bucks, yeah.
- 38:04Dayna Roselli: I paid 24 in parking to leave circa.
- 38:07Dayna Roselli: So in a in in all reality, we both pretty much spent the same.
- 38:12Sean McAllister: Yeah, I guess so.
- 38:14Sean McAllister: And it was it was a good deal to you know just be a block away at the downtown grand.
- 38:20Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I mean, excellent.
- 38:21Dayna Roselli: It was a really, really fun night.
- 38:23Dayna Roselli: But we did want to mention a couple things.
- 38:25Dayna Roselli: You want to mention something about the 99 cent shrimp cocktail?
- 38:28Dayna Roselli: I wanted to mention the pay parking because I just want people to know the self-parking garage, pretty incredible, very nice garage.
- 38:34Dayna Roselli: Um, it was free for the event, but since I stayed after midnight, I ended up having to pay for parking.
- 38:40Dayna Roselli: So I believe it's four dollars an hour.
- 38:42Dayna Roselli: I paid$24.
- 38:44Dayna Roselli: I was there from like about 7 p.m.
- 38:46Dayna Roselli: to I think 12 31.
- 38:48Dayna Roselli: So um, so you do have to pay.
- 38:50Dayna Roselli: Keep that in mind if you do go to circa.
- 38:53Dayna Roselli: Um, that you do have to pay for parking, plan your time, maybe you go somewhere else and walk over, maybe you do the valet.
- 39:00Dayna Roselli: I don't, you know, however it works for you.
- 39:02Sean McAllister: Yeah, I know.
- 39:03Sean McAllister: Somebody uh sent me a text this morning who had gone to Circa to watch a football game, and they were like, hey, I didn't know that you had to pay to park there.
- 39:12Sean McAllister: Yeah, you know, so that is part of the deal.
- 39:15Sean McAllister: But uh last week I had mentioned that Circa is bringing back the 99 cent shrimp cocktail, which is like a classic Vegas menu item that you don't see very much anymore.
- 39:30Sean McAllister: However, there are stipulations.
- 39:33Sean McAllister: So this 99 cent shrimp cocktail is available from 3 a.m.
- 39:39Sean McAllister: to 5 a.m.
- 39:40Sean McAllister: when you purchase a meal inside Saginaw's delicatessen.
- 39:45Sean McAllister: So there are some parameters that you have to work within to get that 99 cent shrimp cocktail, but nonetheless, it is available.
- 39:54Sean McAllister: But it looks good.
- 39:55Sean McAllister: Yes, yes, it'll be good to go back and and hang out on a more of a normal night over at Circa.
- 40:03Sean McAllister: Great to see uh a brand new property opening up here in Las Vegas, though.
- 40:07Sean McAllister: It's always exciting.
- 40:08Dayna Roselli: It is, always, and such so fun to see everyone.
- 40:12Dayna Roselli: And I know I saw a lot of people that even follow us on Twitter, some of the amazing uh bloggers out there, they were all at the event too.
- 40:19Dayna Roselli: And like I said, we were all masked, so it was hard to hunt down and chat with every single person that we wanted to.
- 40:24Dayna Roselli: But go check it out.
- 40:25Dayna Roselli: Circa in uh downtown Las Vegas is officially open.
- 40:28Dayna Roselli: What a great podcast! I know I say it every week, but I really feel like this week was a great podcast.
- 40:34Sean McAllister: Yeah, and another big thank you to John Di Domenico, who is uh going to have his hands full this week as uh the election results trickle in.
- 40:43Dayna Roselli: That's right.
- 40:44Dayna Roselli: And we'll catch you uh next week with I guess a result of who our new president is at that time, right?
- 40:51Dayna Roselli: Yeah, hopefully.
- 40:52Dayna Roselli: We'll see.
- 40:53Dayna Roselli: Have a great week, everyone.
- 40:56SPEAKER_07: Let's go.
- 40:58SPEAKER_07: Let's get away, let's do a word.
