⚡SILVER Investor⚡- YOU Ready for THIS - (MASSIVE Alert and Price Update for Gold and Silver) · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

0:00
Absolute epic period of time for silver and gold right now.
0:05
But if you're feeling a little battered, that's because we are,
0:09
we have mind numbing volatility right now, in particular with
0:14
silver. But we're going to look at all
0:16
the reasons why we can remain optimistic because there are a
0:20
lot of big stories developing that I think point in One
0:24
Direction in that direction. Right up for silver holding
0:29
value for over over the last five years, that's worked out
0:33
pretty well. What about the last 50 years?
0:36
Yes, it's worked out pretty darn well.
0:38
What about the last 500 years? It's worked out pretty well.
0:42
And of course, the last 5000 years it's worked out well as
0:46
well. Again, big stories, interesting
0:49
things to talk about. David verse Goliath, who doesn't
0:52
love that story? David Bateman, right, the US
0:56
silver billionaire versus the big Goliath out, tell you all
1:00
about that. We're going to talk about the
1:02
crazy, crazy volatility. We're going to talk about a big
1:05
analyst who's telling us we could get $50 silver and we'll
1:10
see. We'll dig into that.
1:12
And a big surprise, I think they could be right around the
1:15
corner, which will be another big factor helping support both
1:19
the gold and the silver price as we move into the coming
1:23
quarters, months and years. And I want to do that together
1:26
with you. I really appreciate you coming
1:28
down and joining Susie and I here in the basement.
1:32
It's a big deal. You're important.

1:37
And then when you'll get alerted whenever we go live, if you
1:41
press that little bell button, leave a comment in the comments
1:44
section. Super chat, super thanks.
1:47
Putting us in your will. None of that is expected, but
1:50
always appreciated. Let's dig in.
1:52
Let's look at the charts and see what's happening today in
1:55
silver. And when we talk about mind
1:58
numbing volatility, guys, I looked and over the last like 36
2:03
hours, the silver price has moved from around $91.00 all the
2:10
way down to $73. That's like a 20% move in one
2:15
day. Currently in the spot market,
2:17
we're sitting right around $77.00 with silver.
2:21
The gold price $4875. We need to remember, we've
2:27
talked about this so critical, so critical.
2:30
There is the example of this unbelievable volatility.
2:34
It is so critical to realize what's going on.
2:37
Silver in particular has a history of being very volatile.
2:41
Some people call it the Devil's medal.
2:43
We'll talk about that more in a little bit.
2:45
But the idea that you really need to remove emotion away from
2:51
your decision about what you're going to do with silver.
2:53
Gold, of course, I'm not a financial advisor.
2:56
I'm just giving you my opinions. Listen to other people, listen
2:59
to your yourself, but the advice I would give is try to take the
3:03
emotion out of it. Yes, red days like my shirt are
3:06
no fun. No doubt the green days are a
3:09
lot more fun. But you really want to take a
3:12
step back and look at the big picture, the fundamentals as to
3:15
why you do or don't decide to store some of your wealth in
3:20
precious metals. Because if you don't, there's
3:23
something critical that we're going to talk about about a bull
3:26
market. They call it a bull market for a
3:30
reason, and that reason is because the bull tries to buck
3:34
off as many people as possible. Like those rodeos they have here
3:39
in Missouri where I live, right? Bull riding.
3:41
It just tries to throw people off.
3:44
Throw people off. Any bull market will climb a
3:47
wall of worry. That's a fact as well.
3:51
Unfortunate, right? We wish that it was just fun,
3:54
fun, fun, green, green, green. And we actually went through a
3:57
period where it was like that, but that's the reality.
4:00
Take a step back, look at the ask yourself a critical
4:03
question. Do you think the fundamentals
4:06
that support the value of gold, the value of silver, do you
4:11
really think they've changed? Are they suddenly not using
4:14
silver in solar panels or solid-state batteries or
4:18
electronics or microchips or medical purposes?
4:22
Are all the other myriad? Is silver suddenly no longer a
4:26
monetary metal on top of that? You know the answer, right?
4:30
But again, make the decision for yourself.
4:32
But Please remember the big take away is do your best to take
4:36
emotion out of any decision you make.
4:39
I'm not telling you to buy, sell, do anything.
4:41
That's what you have to do. But I will tell you, always take
4:44
the emotion out of it. And we are in a crazy period of
4:48
volatility like no other in the silver market.
4:51
And then we get this guy. Let's get the bad news out of
4:53
the way. Then we have some surprises.
4:55
I think there's some good, good news coming for both gold and
4:59
silver. The whole ecosystem here in a
5:01
little bit but let's get the bad news out of the way let's go out
5:04
here to Kitco and we love Kitco. They're just reporting the
5:09
facts. Our good friend Niels
5:11
Christensen has this article out Gold could slide to $4000 as the
5:17
parabolic rally signals a peak. That's from BI.
5:21
Who's BI Well, we're going to find out Mr. Mcglone OK, in his
5:26
latest precious metals note and then he talks about silver.
5:29
That's we're not getting, we're not going to get mad at at Mr.
5:32
Mike, but it. In his latest precious metals
5:34
note, Mike Mclone, a senior market strategist at Bloomberg
5:40
Intelligence, said that while he doesn't rule out rule out a run
5:44
to $6000 an ounce for gold, maybe we should just stop right
5:48
there. It's more likely that prices
5:51
could test 4000 an ounce. He also believes silver could
5:55
fall all the way back to $50.00 an ounce.
5:58
Why does he think that? He basically thinks the gold,
6:02
when you compare the gold rally to a lot of different metrics,
6:05
that it's been overdone. It needed a big, it needs a big
6:07
correction, blah, blah, blah, right?
6:09
And that's fine. You know, I mean, hey, look, I
6:11
don't want gold to go to 4000. But really guys, three years
6:15
ago, if we told you that we'd be talking about a downside for
6:19
gold at $4000 per oz. I remember sitting in an airport
6:25
in Quebec when I was up visiting a gold mine and I was sitting by
6:29
the CEO and I think that day the gold price had gone up like
6:32
$60.00 up to like $1800 an ounce.
6:36
If if you told us back then that we'd be worried about gold going
6:40
down to 4000 an ounce, we'd be jumping for joy, right?
6:44
Again, we don't want it to happen, but let's keep things
6:47
into perspective. Let's go down here now to about
6:51
silver. Looking at silver, Mr. Mcglone
6:54
said that it's unlikely the gold silver ratio is sustainable
6:59
below 50 points. Why, why, why, why is it that
7:03
that he thinks the gold to silver ratio can't get down to
7:06
30 or 15? I mean, throughout history,
7:09
right? Throughout history, it's done
7:11
that many times. Even in recent history, silver's
7:14
sharp decline on Friday and Monday and Thursday.
7:19
And now that we're doing this, by the way, I appreciate you
7:22
being down here in the basement with me.
7:23
Yes, you has pushed the ratio back to historical norms.
7:28
What historical norms? What's he talking about?
7:31
Currently trading at 56.6. No, if you're going to say
7:35
historical norms, Mr. Mcglone, you need to look.
7:39
You need to look like at the last 100 years, 200 years.
7:42
Oh, and by the way, silver's been around for 5000 years.
7:46
Look at the historic. It's been like 7 to 1/6 to 1:15
7:50
to 1:00 many, many times. This year's $120.00 high may be
7:56
revisited, but reversion towards 50 appears as a normal path for
8:01
the commodity known as the Devil's metal due to its
8:06
volatility, he said. We've also heard it called the
8:12
the Widowmaker, right? And we warned, I warned, I
8:15
warned when we were at, we talked about this guy's
8:18
AT120110. I remember the day that it went
8:21
over $100.00 an ounce, right? Be ready for volatility.
8:25
Those paper manipulators, right? The derivative silver, the make
8:29
believe fantasy island silver traders at the COMEX in the
8:33
LBMA. They've always got more tricks
8:36
up their sleeve, but their tricks are running out.
8:38
Their potency is running out. Back to Mcglone, the big take
8:42
away. I don't agree with him.
8:44
If he's going to base the silver to gold to silver ratio on
8:48
historical terms, right? It can certainly get, remember
8:52
all the gold that's ever been mined is still sitting above
8:56
earth, right? Some of it's at your house,
8:58
right? Or maybe in your safety deposit
8:59
box or maybe you made the decision to buy one of those.
9:03
See it hanging right there, The Dirty man safe.
9:05
Anyway, none of my business. And if you want to check out
9:07
Dirty Man Safe, where you can bury silver and gold in your
9:10
yard, just like if you can be a little pirate, put on a pirate
9:13
outfit, whatever you want to do. OK, You can check them out at
9:16
dirtymansafe.com. And there's a discount code
9:20
here. I'll show it to you.
9:21
Where is it? Hold on, Ron.
9:25
Ron ten OK great people, great company the family that runs
9:32
that business. I love them where was I All
9:34
right enough of the bad news OK more more bad news.
9:38
This is very interesting very, very interesting OK our friend
9:43
at TF metals Report and I'm forgetting his name but he's a
9:46
great guy said this out about this.
9:50
This is what's been happening with silver, didn't necessarily
9:53
happen last night. And yes, we got the right tab
9:56
up. He said very simple.
9:58
All right, up all night. The gold and silver price on
10:01
global physical demand. Oh, when we got some, I forgot
10:04
to tell you, I got some more crazy data about global physical
10:08
demand. We're going to look at this time
10:10
we got Switzerland, Switzerland down all day, be a derivative
10:14
selling in New York. OK.
10:16
So, yeah, these days where we're having these downward, you know,
10:21
many crashes, a lot of times are happening when the Comex and the
10:24
LBMA, although last night it appeared that it started
10:27
happening last night around 9:00 PM Whatever.
10:30
OK, let's go, let's go. First, let's say hi to each
10:35
other. There's a guy I've been
10:36
following that we've been following, Rashad, who's been
10:39
very accurate about what is happening and he says something
10:43
powerful that we want to talk about.
10:45
And I think it's a one of the great reasons why we can remain
10:48
to be optimistic about both the gold and the silver price.
10:53
And Rashad said this a massive 3 day historic sell off in metals
10:59
has completely reset sentiment. Footnote that OK, he says I
11:05
expect gold to reach $7500 per oz and silver.
11:12
Did he say 300? He's I should have made the
11:14
thumbnail for this. 300 oz, 300 an ounce easily by summer 2026.
11:22
And the reason why that's so important for us to talk about
11:25
is, yes, right, this has been a very challenging period of time
11:29
for anyone who's invested in gold, but particularly silver,
11:33
right? Was it like a week ago we were
11:35
at $120.00 silver, Today we're at $75 silver.
11:39
But what he said that is so critical, is it his reset
11:43
sentiment? Guess what, all the short
11:47
timers, bye bye. The people that don't really
11:50
believe in silver are gone. OK, now we are in a
11:54
consolidation phase, which is a good thing because guys, the
11:58
reality is nothing shoots straight up.
12:00
Silver had gone up, up, up, up, up, up very consistently, very
12:04
highly, but with some consolidations.
12:07
And then we did have what you could probably call a spike,
12:11
which then dropped back down. So now we have reset sentiment,
12:16
the short timers are gone. They're selling, they've sold,
12:19
they're scared. Oh, whatever, they've been
12:22
replaced. They're being replaced by people
12:24
that believe in the future of silver.
12:28
So it builds, builds, builds, builds a solid base of strong
12:33
handed people, people that are silver handed.
12:36
I don't know whatever you want to call them.
12:37
Hi ho silver. That's what's happening.
12:40
Is it fun? Heck no, right?
12:43
I don't like it. I don't like seeing, I don't
12:45
like looking at My Portfolio. I don't you know, nobody does.
12:48
It's no fun, right? It's happening in the crypto
12:51
world as well right now. Nobody likes red.
12:53
I ain't nobody likes that I have to wear the red shirt.
12:56
But the green shirt will be back, right?
12:58
And it'll be back after being built on a solid foundation of
13:03
holders that are going to be more likely to hold on to their
13:06
silver as the price continues its March forward.
13:10
Remember, I don't have a crystal ball, right?
13:13
But I believe this. And I believe that we're in for
13:16
some very, very good times ahead.
13:18
There's a surprise. Guess what?
13:20
Remember what was that show? Gomer Pyle.
13:24
Gomer Pyle, what was it called? Surprise, surprise, surprise.
13:27
Sergeant Carter, I think we got a little good thing coming here
13:31
in the next two to three weeks, which may not, may not, you
13:34
know, no, may not make the price of silver and gold immediately
13:38
skyrocket, but we'll continue to provide more and more support to
13:42
the overall gold and silver ecosystem.
13:45
Before I get to that, I want to say thank you to 1st Mining Gold
13:49
for sponsoring Ron's Basement. They're a Canadian development
13:52
stage gold company. They've got 2 massive, massive
13:55
projects, development stage projects in Canada where there
14:00
aren't a lot of big massive projects, Spring pull in
14:03
Ontario, du Parquet in Quebec, each separately have 1,000,000
14:09
millions of Oz of gold that's been drilled, determined in the
14:13
ground. So now they're working through
14:15
the process of, of, of getting permits, all the work that goes
14:19
along with that. The big key take away there is
14:21
there aren't a lot of these big projects in good jurisdictions
14:25
and the big mining companies that we're going to talk about
14:28
here next, right, they're making record amounts of money record.
14:33
And the other good news in that regard is both gold and silver
14:37
mining companies, the amount of gold and silver they're mining,
14:41
right, is actually going down a little bit.
14:43
So they need to refill their pipelines with new projects.
14:48
And there aren't a lot of great projects.
14:49
You can learn about first mining gold at firstmininggold.com.
14:54
And this is what I'm excited about because soon we are going
14:58
to hear from the big mining companies.
15:00
And there's a reason why this can be good not just for the
15:04
mining stocks, but also also for the metals, the entire gold and
15:10
silver ecosystem. It's super exciting.
15:13
All right, let's go take a look at this chart. 1st.
15:15
And this is incredible to consider.
15:18
This came from Mr. Uppie, OK? He says the average investor has
15:24
no idea what is coming. Make sure we got the right tab
15:28
up, which we do in the mining sector.
15:31
We are still near generational lows, guys.
15:35
Again, there's a reason why this is good for silver and gold.
15:38
The actual physical metals as well.
15:40
Do not get kicked off the ball like we talked about earlier,
15:43
get fucked off the ball. There's a long ride ahead.
15:47
This chart, which I believe, yeah, came from Tavi Costa and
15:51
Crescott Capital. This is the.
15:53
This is incredible to consider. Hold on, get the crayons out.
15:59
This is the mining industry, OK? As a percentage of global
16:05
equities, here we are today down here, that little yellow bar,
16:13
yeah, I don't like the way that looks.
16:14
OK. That little yellow bar that you
16:16
can see that that I just circled says record lows.
16:20
Guys, we right now the mining sector, gold and silver in the
16:23
other parts of the mining sector represent a paltry 1% of all
16:28
global equities just back in 1970, right?
16:33
That was 10/11/11 times higher. Even even back as recently as
16:41
let's say 2004 times higher, this has gone down, down, down.
16:46
This cannot get any lower. And as we move into this new
16:50
era, we've got the President of the United States establishing a
16:55
critical minerals, what do they call it?
16:57
A strategic reserve, right? Like everybody knows what's
17:00
happening. This will likely continue up,
17:03
OK. And if we go go back to just 4%,
17:07
that's four times as much money in the mining sector.
17:10
But what's really exciting about that is soon we are going to
17:15
hear from the gold mining companies and the silver mining
17:18
companies. They're going to report how much
17:20
money they made in the fourth quarter, October, November,
17:23
December of last year. Silver alone, the average price
17:28
during that quarter was $50 per oz.
17:31
They're going to show unbelievable profit margins.
17:35
The reason why is because if you're a silver miner and let's
17:39
say a year ago, right, it cost you $20 to get an ounce of
17:43
silver out of the ground and you were selling it for $30.
17:48
You made $10 profit in the fourth quarter of last year.
17:52
It still cost you $20 per oz to get that ounce of silver out of
17:57
the ground, OK? But now instead of making $10
18:01
per oz, they're making $30 per oz.
18:04
People are going to be shocked when they see how much money the
18:09
gold mining and silver mining companies, it will be the wake
18:12
up call for the mainstream, main institutional, the, the, even
18:18
the retail investors. It's going to also when that
18:22
happens, when people like, wow, look at what's going on, it's
18:25
going to bring more attention into the overall gold and silver
18:29
ecosystem, into the actual metals themselves.
18:33
So look out even if your long term horizon is one year from
18:37
now. I think that we've got some
18:39
major good news, some major big surprises coming that are going
18:43
to be great, great, great for the price of gold and silver.
18:47
If you want to get your hands on some silver right now, First
18:51
Mint makes our get togethers possible.
18:54
They are the silver specialist mint in the United States in Las
18:59
Vegas, NV. They are owned by First Majestic
19:02
Silver who actually mines the silver in Mexico, sends it to
19:07
Las Vegas to 1st Mint and then it goes straight to you.
19:11
They have world class silver bullion projects and think about
19:15
this, it's the freshest silver around.
19:17
It literally comes from the mine to the mint to you.
19:21
Premium retail experience for people that are looking to buy
19:25
silver. You guys are given unbelievable
19:27
positive feedback. Let's run out here real quick
19:30
and I'll show you their website firstmint.com.
19:34
If you go to the store tab, you can look at all their different.
19:37
They have bars, rounds and different accessories as well.
19:41
Great company, great feedback from the basement dweller
19:43
community, and we're lucky we're spoiled.
19:47
I'm going to show you some reasons why we're spoiled here
19:50
in terms of the United States being able to still buy gold and
19:53
silver easily, but also evidence that there's still unbelievable
20:00
demand for physical silver. Upstairs, Susie can attest I can
20:08
be a little hard headed at times.
20:10
When I was a child, my mother would occasionally and I love my
20:13
mom more than anything in the world would say to me.
20:15
I got to get it through your thick skull, guys, we got to get
20:19
it through our thick skull that the demand for physical metal on
20:22
a worldwide basis is unbelievable.
20:27
And I'll just say it about myself.
20:30
Get out of my own little arrogant self way realize that
20:33
the gold and silver markets are worldwide markets.
20:37
They aren't just in Saint Louis or Spokane or San Diego or
20:44
what's another ass city? Well anyway, Boston or or Tampa,
20:48
FL or Sarasota, FL. They are worldwide markets and
20:53
we're getting, I'm going to show you some evidence that we've got
20:55
major physical demand in this again is a physical driven
21:00
rally. Let's go take a look at some
21:02
interesting developments that we have in that regard.
21:07
We'll go to Dubai first. Let's go to Dubai.
21:10
Dubai, hold on here, let me find it.
21:12
Here it is. We initially reported on this
21:15
yesterday and this was from over the weekend, but Silver Trade
21:19
puts out this piece right here that talks about what is
21:24
happening. See if I make that bigger.
21:26
Nope, that makes it smaller. That drives me crazy, it says.
21:29
Traders say physical silver bars are unavailable and when they do
21:35
appear, they are quickly bought. Even at a higher price.
21:39
Silver has become difficult to find in Dubai's market.
21:42
Dubai's very wealthy by the way. Traders say stocks are exhausted
21:46
and buyers are willing to pay extra just to secure the metal.
21:50
The demand in the UAE has surged and this has pushed investors to
21:54
pay premiums of up to whatever that is DH 2000 per kilogram
22:00
over the market rate. Physical bars are unavailable,
22:04
silver is not available in the market right now.
22:06
We're getting regular inquiries and physical stock is exhausted.
22:11
OK Raj Swammama Wammamawa wah Wah wah then a salesman working
22:16
at the Dubai Gold Souk, whatever that is, South Souk probably
22:21
market said that their company ran out of stock last week and
22:25
is still waiting for confirmation from supply buyers.
22:28
We are exhausted our silver stock expecting fresh supply but
22:32
our supplier has not yet guaranteed delivery.
22:36
He also said that buyers are ready to pay more.
22:40
Some investors have agreed to pay a premium of up to whatever
22:43
DH 1500 over the spot price. They don't want to miss the
22:47
opportunity even if it means paying extra, he said.
22:52
OK, So what about Switzerland, right?
22:55
Remember, you know, Swiss bankers, the big Swiss, they
22:59
always know, they're always ahead of the curve of what's
23:01
going on. Clive Thompson, we'll just watch
23:04
this little video here. Hold on.
23:07
And there we go. Yep.
23:09
There you should see Clive. I can't get this to move.
23:11
Hold on, guys. Well, anyway, I'm going to get
23:14
this on full screen for you. And let's hear what Clive
23:17
Thompson. This is about 40 seconds long
23:19
has to say about Switzerland. I spoke yesterday with a a
23:25
trusted person who works for one of the largest bullion dealers
23:28
in Switzerland. They have 0 stock of silver,
23:34
zero, and they haven't been able to get any for many weeks.
23:39
They do have silver coming in the door from people who are
23:41
selling it, but the second it comes in the door it's instantly
23:45
sold. So everything which is coming in
23:49
is being sold. They have nothing in stock.
23:51
You can't if I if you ring them up, you won't be able to get
23:53
any. As far as gold is concerned,
23:55
they're out of all the coins, all the small bars and the only
23:59
gold they have left are the 250 and sorry 250 grand bars, the
24:04
500 grand bars and the 1 kilogram bars.
24:07
All the small stuff is. OK, so there's Switzerland, we
24:12
are going to go to China, we're going to check in on China as
24:14
well. But what's interesting there is
24:17
we have a American, right, David verse Goliath story unfolding in
24:23
the silver market. I'll share that with you next.
24:26
But what we want to talk about now is what's going on in
24:29
Australia because we're getting all these pictures of like
24:32
massive lines of people trying to buy metals in Australia.
24:36
And I brought up the point yesterday, right?
24:38
Well, how do we know these people aren't selling?
24:41
And let's dig in. I've got some.
24:43
I got an example for you that I think will alleviate that
24:47
concern all together. First we'll go here, Wall Street
24:52
gold, put this out, huge gold lines up in Sydney, Physical
24:55
demand heating up fast at ABC Bullion is buyers line up for
25:00
real metal. And then we go down here and
25:02
David Taylor says hold huge gold queues in Sydney as well.
25:06
Now here we go. This is from John B who said the
25:10
line is 4 hours long. I ought to know, I was there and
25:16
they are buying, 99% of the people are buying, he said.
25:21
Since you have time to ask. So these lines, these pictures,
25:25
these lines that we're getting from Australia, according to
25:29
John B, who was in the line and talked to a lot of people, he
25:33
says 99% of the people aren't selling, 99% of the people are
25:39
actually actually buying. Let's go look at the Chinese
25:42
market and then let's talk about the David verse Goliath battle
25:46
that's happening, unfolding right now in the silver market.
25:53
It's here we go. First we'll go to Eric Young.
25:55
This is interesting pointing out again what the recyclers as of
25:59
yesterday were paying. It seems that the China silver
26:02
retail premiums have gone vertical.
26:05
Chinese silver recyclers are adding 18 to $26 U.S. dollar
26:10
equivalent premium on top of the Chinese silver spot price which
26:15
is currently around 105 S The way I read that is let's say
26:19
they're adding $15 when the spot price was one O 5.
26:23
It has pulled back a a bit, but nonetheless, the actual physical
26:27
recyclers are paying a premium over spot of eight of almost,
26:34
let's just say $20, which is a good thing.
26:37
Now let's listen to a report from the ground in China.
26:41
This one's about one minute long from King Kong 988.
26:46
Not him, but he shared this. He's a very reliable source.
26:50
Crazy, crazy. Shenzhen Chi Bay has truly got
26:52
mad this time. It's completely insane.
26:53
Silver has gone on a rampage, not recognizing anyone.
26:56
Ha ha. The premium is no longer just a
26:58
matter of one or two UN, it has directly soared into the sky.
27:01
A premium of four or five, Five UN per gram.
27:04
That's right, you heard me. The silver premium has hit four
27:08
or CN¥5, some even 5 or CN¥6 per gram, and it's still out of
27:11
stock. Just imagine how crazy it is.
27:13
It's like people are just casually buying silver as if it
27:16
were cheap cabbage. Like it costs nothing.
27:18
When silver was cheap, it was only a few yuan per gram.
27:20
Now with a premium of several yuan, the silver price is dozens
27:23
of yuan. Platinum's premium is so high
27:25
it'll make you question reality, but that's it.
27:28
Even gold is still coming for Darpang.
27:30
I completely don't understand what what's going on.
27:33
Oh my God, to sum it up, Dapping you go your own way and markets
27:37
you go yours unbelievable unbelievable.
27:41
Oh no Chinese New Year is almost here shoe eBay already short on
27:44
materials will likely see silver premiums go absolutely wild.
27:47
All right, remember to follow Brother Dao to always get the
27:49
most authentic. Brother Dao, thank you.
27:52
Brother Dao, on behalf of all of us basement dwellers, thank you
27:56
for your on the ground report from the Shoe Bay Market.
27:59
Hold on in our friends in China are gongs.
28:06
Yeah, that's Chinese. I think there's Chinese writing
28:08
on there. Anyhow, David versus Goliath,
28:12
right? the United States versus China,
28:15
right? This is very, very interesting
28:17
because we get a report that a massive Chinese billionaire has
28:22
gone short on silver. We're going to talk about that
28:26
because it's a battle between what we have in the United
28:29
States. We have our own silver over a
28:31
billionaire David and he's the David in the David verse
28:35
Goliath. He is bought now what I think
28:37
yesterday close to 14,000,000, maybe 15,000,000 ounces of
28:43
physical silver. He's the silver billionaire.
28:46
He's the new hunt brother, OK. He also recently with him last
28:51
week put out a post a tweet on X saying that he was looking to
28:54
buy $200 million worth of 90% silver constitutional pre 1965,
29:01
five US coins to add to his stack.
29:05
But now we get this report of the of of this Chinese
29:09
billionaire. He made $3 billion going long on
29:14
gold on the Shanghai Futures Exchange is now put out a short,
29:19
taking a short position. And I'm going to tell you why
29:21
it's David versus Goliath. But let's go see if we can get a
29:24
few details on what this Chinese billionaire is doing.
29:29
This comes from investing.com. Billionaire Chinese trader bets
29:37
on silver collapse with a $300 million wager OK, let's go down
29:44
here, I got a few things highlighted.
29:46
A billionaire Chinese trader known for profiting from gold's
29:48
recent record rally has placed a massive bet against silver with
29:54
a position now worth almost 300 million following the metals
29:59
record price drop. BM Ji Ming, who are not real
30:07
fond of right now, who maintains a low profile and resides
30:12
primarily in Gibraltar, has accumulated nearly 3 billion
30:17
from bullish positions on the Shanghai Futures Exchange gold
30:21
contracts since 2022, according to Bloomberg.
30:26
He has now established the exchange's largest net short
30:29
position in silver. Bian's silver short position
30:33
this is where it gets interesting, represents
30:36
approximately 450 tons or 30,000 contracts according to the
30:43
Google AI, I forget what it's called Gemini.
30:47
I asked how much is 450 tons of silver.
30:50
It said nearly 15,000,000 Troy oz.
30:54
The metal sharp decline since last week has generated a paper
30:58
gain for him of about 288 million U.S. dollars.
31:03
Now think about this. OK, David verse Goliath, David
31:08
Bateman, the United States physical silver billionaire,
31:14
right? But he's got all, let's just say
31:16
he's got about 14 or 15,000,000 physical silver oz versus the
31:21
Chinese billionaire who's now short about 15 billion oz.
31:26
Who are we rooting for? We love China in their
31:31
insatiable appetite for gold and silver.
31:34
We love you too, India, no doubt about it.
31:36
But in this David versus Goliath battle, we're we're rooting for
31:40
the United States of America. David Bateman, our own silver
31:44
billionaire, our own modern day Hunt brothers, who does it with
31:48
a crazy little twist. He actually owns the physical
31:53
metal. So it's a, it's right now it's
31:55
kind of a battle, which is the reverse of what?
31:58
Isn't that interesting understand of what we've been
32:00
hearing? It's the battle of the physical
32:02
USA silver billionaire versus the Chinese paper tiger short.
32:08
OK, it'll be interesting to see how it all plays out, guys, when
32:13
we put it all together, when we take a step back and we look at
32:17
what's happening, right? Remember, remember, it's real
32:20
simple, OK? Silver has always been money.
32:24
Silver is now on top of that, a critical industrial metal.
32:30
Silver is being consumed way faster than it's being mined.
32:34
And since 2016, the amount of silver coming from the mines has
32:39
been slightly trending downward. And our friend and Phillips
32:44
Baker, former CEO of Hecla Mining, the United States oldest
32:48
and largest silver mining company, recently reminded us
32:53
that it would be probably the year 2030 before the mining
32:57
industry has any chance of creating more silver in the
33:02
cherry on top, right? Not only are You Beautiful, but
33:05
silver's just a beautiful, beautiful metal.
33:07
I keep hardly any here at the house, but here, here's a great
33:11
example, right? This is the same ounce of silver
33:15
today at the current paper U.S. dollar price.
33:19
That's the Las Vegas round, absolutely beautiful from first
33:23
mint. It's the same ounce of silver
33:25
today that it was one week ago today.
33:29
You know, if we choose to measure, it is a unit of measure
33:33
with paper. U.S. dollars.
33:34
Yeah, it's worth whatever, $80. A week ago, it was 120.
33:39
No, it's still an ounce of silver.
33:42
You're still you. You're special.
33:44
Thanks for joining me down here in the basement.
33:46
Don't forget, subscribe to the channel.
33:48
Please give this video a thumbs up and I'll look forward to
33:51
seeing you. Yes, you, Next time down here in
33:56
the basement. Take care, care.
