- 0:17Speaker 1: Welcome to jag Vam this Thursday.
- 0:18Speaker 2: I'm Kindannie Stevens, Brian Sexton, and John Osier are with me.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Happy Halloween.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Where you are getting ready to take on the Philadelphia
- 0:24Speaker 2: Eagles this Sunday. Is the Jaguars head up to Philly
- 0:27Speaker 2: this weekend. Let's start with our big things walk The
- 0:30Speaker 2: walk is a big thing.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Number one.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Cam Robinson's trade in Minnesota becoming official yesterday afternoon. That
- 0:35Speaker 2: means it's Walker Little's position to take over at left tackle.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Trevor Lawrence says he's confident in Walker Little's clay.
- 0:42Speaker 3: I will say Walker's done a great job. I'm excited
- 0:45Speaker 3: for this opportunity for him. He's played great when he's
- 0:48Speaker 3: had the opportunity. In the last few years, he's been
- 0:49Speaker 3: put in some tough spots. He's had to play a
- 0:51Speaker 3: lot of different positions. He's had to come in in
- 0:53Speaker 3: twenty two when Cam got hurt, he had to come
- 0:56Speaker 3: in and finish the season when we were on that run,
- 0:58Speaker 3: and we didn't skip a beat because he was prepared
- 1:00Speaker 3: and he prepared every day like a starter. And so
- 1:03Speaker 3: he's been ready for his opportunities and that's not easy
- 1:05Speaker 3: to do when you're not the full time guy, and
- 1:07Speaker 3: now that he's getting that opportunity, I'm excited for him.
- 1:10Speaker 3: So I think it's like there's always two sides to it,
- 1:13Speaker 3: and it's tough, but obviously, like Walker, like I said,
- 1:16Speaker 3: he's more than ready and he's done a great job
- 1:18Speaker 3: and I'm excited for him. I got all the face
- 1:19Speaker 3: in the world and he's played great so far.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Brian Walker Little is going to be the starting left
- 1:24Speaker 2: tackle for the rest of this season. What do we
- 1:25Speaker 2: need to see from him to know whether he'll be
- 1:27Speaker 2: here long term after that?
- 1:28Speaker 4: Well, you need to see the guy who's played the
- 1:29Speaker 4: last couple of weeks. I mean, he got started a
- 1:31Speaker 4: little slow last week against the Packers, but since he
- 1:33Speaker 4: went into the lineup, he's played really well. And in
- 1:36Speaker 4: twenty twenty two, as you just heard Trevor refer to,
- 1:39Speaker 4: when Cam went down with the injury, he stepped right
- 1:42Speaker 4: in and helped lead them to the playoffs. So he's
- 1:46Speaker 4: a gifted left tackle. He's a big guy, he's great
- 1:49Speaker 4: in terms of his athleticism. You got to see that
- 1:52Speaker 4: they would love to be able to go forward with
- 1:55Speaker 4: him as their left tackle. He's got nine games to
- 1:57Speaker 4: prove it. John had a pretty big smile on his
- 1:59Speaker 4: face yesterday. I think he understands the opportunity that's in
- 2:01Speaker 4: front of him.
- 2:02Speaker 5: Yeah, this could get really fascinating. He's got nine games.
- 2:05Speaker 5: He's played eighteen already, so if he stays healthy through
- 2:09Speaker 5: the season, he's got twenty seven games as his NFL resume.
- 2:13Speaker 5: You know, at the end of the season, maybe a
- 2:17Speaker 5: franchise tag. I don't throw that out there because that's
- 2:20Speaker 5: way premature, but you've got to know what he is.
- 2:24Speaker 5: Does he play well enough to earn that? If he
- 2:26Speaker 5: plays really well, Does he play well enough to earn
- 2:29Speaker 5: big left tackle money. Can he show enough consistency for that.
- 2:34Speaker 5: There's a lot of questions. But if you're Walker Little,
- 2:38Speaker 5: this is the opportunity for a lifetime. I mean, you
- 2:40Speaker 5: can either show or not show, make a lot of money,
- 2:43Speaker 5: or be on the bench somewhere next year. I mean
- 2:45Speaker 5: it's and I don't think the later will happen, but
- 2:49Speaker 5: it's a major audition for him no matter where he
- 2:53Speaker 5: plays next year.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Huge opportunity for Walker Little, another opportunity for a lot
- 2:57Speaker 2: of other players because next man up, that's our next
- 3:00Speaker 2: big thing.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Because of the injuries, suffered.
- 3:02Speaker 2: In the game against the Packers. It's going to be
- 3:03Speaker 2: an opportunity game for a lot of different players who
- 3:05Speaker 2: may not have seen this kind of playing time before.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Coud Pearson says, the team is prepared for.
- 3:10Speaker 6: That next man up. I mean, honestly, it's easy as that,
- 3:15Speaker 6: you know. I mean, you know, the games are still
- 3:18Speaker 6: going to come. League's still gonna you know, continue on,
- 3:22Speaker 6: and we're going to continue on, and we got to coach.
- 3:26Speaker 6: That's why we develop guys in the off season, you know,
- 3:29Speaker 6: for for opportunities like this, right so, whether it's a
- 3:32Speaker 6: whether it's a young player or rookie or a vet,
- 3:35Speaker 6: I mean, you're a practice squad elevation. You know, we're
- 3:38Speaker 6: going to continue to coach everybody and get them prepared
- 3:41Speaker 6: for a pre each week.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Sudden, we talked a little bit about seeing Parker Washington
- 3:45Speaker 2: in place for Christian Kirk, but after the injury report
- 3:48Speaker 2: came out yesterday, there's some injuries on the offensive line
- 3:50Speaker 2: as well, so we might see some other players getting
- 3:52Speaker 2: a chance to step up in this next game.
- 3:54Speaker 5: Yeah, the guard situation is a little concerning. Do you
- 3:58Speaker 5: have both guys not pray I've seen Sheriff in Ezra Cleveland.
- 4:01Speaker 5: Sheriff's history around here is he's been able to not
- 4:04Speaker 5: practice and play. So you would think, based on what
- 4:07Speaker 5: happened at the end of the game, Brian, that you
- 4:10Speaker 5: would have Cooper Hodges starting for Cleveland and Sheriff in there.
- 4:14Speaker 5: And you know, I'm not trying to be a pessimist,
- 4:17Speaker 5: but when you spend all week talking about next man
- 4:19Speaker 5: up and there's this many injuries on the injury report, boy,
- 4:23Speaker 5: do you need a lot of big performances from a
- 4:26Speaker 5: lot of guys that you haven't seen before to play
- 4:29Speaker 5: well in a really tough environment.
- 4:32Speaker 4: This is a tough, tough matchup.
- 4:34Speaker 5: I hope the young guys can do it, I guess
- 4:36Speaker 5: is what I'm getting at, because there's a lot of
- 4:38Speaker 5: need from young guys who haven't done it before well.
- 4:41Speaker 4: And they're playing inside against massive Jordan Davis and then
- 4:44Speaker 4: Jalen Carter, who are two excellent defensive tackles. I want
- 4:47Speaker 4: to go back to the receivers, though. The next man up.
- 4:49Speaker 4: The guy who needs to step up this week is
- 4:51Speaker 4: not a Tim Jones player, right or someone they elevate
- 4:55Speaker 4: from the practice squad. It's gave Davis, they gave him
- 4:58Speaker 4: a big contract, almost fourteen billion dollars this year, and
- 5:02Speaker 4: they haven't been paid back for it. This is the opportunity.
- 5:05Speaker 4: With Christian gone for the rest of the season, they
- 5:08Speaker 4: need a veteran guy. I mean, we can talk about
- 5:10Speaker 4: Parker Washington man. I have confidence and based on what
- 5:12Speaker 4: I've seen from him so far this year, and obviously
- 5:15Speaker 4: BTJ is a guy who can make big plays. But
- 5:17Speaker 4: you're talking about a rookie and a second year player
- 5:20Speaker 4: who hasn't been a receiver that much. The guy who
- 5:22Speaker 4: has to step up, it's Kate Davis. This is your time.
- 5:26Speaker 5: Yeah, And amazingly he can now go from a guy
- 5:29Speaker 5: who a lot of high hopes at the beginning, it's
- 5:32Speaker 5: sort of dwindled down to where a lot of observers
- 5:34Speaker 5: don't have much hope at all.
- 5:36Speaker 4: So he can almost be a.
- 5:38Speaker 5: Surprise when he shouldn't have been a surprise, if that
- 5:40Speaker 5: makes sense. So he's got an opportunity to really, I guess,
- 5:43Speaker 5: resurrect this season and frankly, prove a lot of people wrong.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Lots of opportunities.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Let's do our final big thing, which is bounced back.
- 5:49Speaker 2: We have to look ahead to this game against the Eagles,
- 5:51Speaker 2: which is a team that's really coming together right now.
- 5:53Speaker 2: They won three straight games after going two and two
- 5:55Speaker 2: to start the year.
- 5:56Speaker 1: But heading back to last year.
- 5:58Speaker 2: They had a really bad finish similar to what the
- 6:00Speaker 2: Jaguars had. But this year they've been able to kind
- 6:02Speaker 2: of resurrect and bounce back. What have you seen, Brian,
- 6:04Speaker 2: when you look at this team where they are right
- 6:06Speaker 2: now and how they've been able to get to five
- 6:08Speaker 2: and one.
- 6:08Speaker 4: Well, they run the ball like the Baltimore Ravens, who
- 6:10Speaker 4: are the standard bearer in professional football. They went and
- 6:13Speaker 4: plucked Saquon Barkley away, and the minute they did that,
- 6:17Speaker 4: I went there they go. I mean, they have a
- 6:19Speaker 4: good offensive line. It's not the same offensive line that
- 6:22Speaker 4: was so powerful for so many years. There are changes there,
- 6:24Speaker 4: a couple of different starters. But when you've got a
- 6:26Speaker 4: quarterback like Jalen Hurtz who's got the ability to run
- 6:30Speaker 4: along with Saquon Barkley, well, John, I mean they're averaging
- 6:33Speaker 4: Barkley's averaging five point nine rushing yards per attempt and
- 6:38Speaker 4: the Eagles are averaging one hundred and sixty six rushing
- 6:41Speaker 4: yards per game. You want to know how they bounce
- 6:43Speaker 4: back that rushing attack takes all the pressure off of
- 6:47Speaker 4: the passing attack, and they can still send the ball
- 6:49Speaker 4: down the field. Obviously they've got excellent receivers, and then
- 6:52Speaker 4: that helps the defense.
- 6:54Speaker 5: Yeah, they did an amazing, rare thing that I think
- 6:57Speaker 5: you can probably only do at the running back position
- 7:00Speaker 5: in this day and age. They added a Hall of
- 7:02Speaker 5: Fame player in his prime to an already good team
- 7:05Speaker 5: via free agency. Most free agent positions, teams don't give
- 7:09Speaker 5: up on guys. Teams are willing to give up on
- 7:11Speaker 5: running backs a little quicker. And the Giants gave up
- 7:13Speaker 5: on Barkley, and you know, and the Eagles are bearing
- 7:18Speaker 5: the fruit of that. Interestingly and probably frustrating to me
- 7:22Speaker 5: the Jaguars fans. The Eagles are doing exactly what the
- 7:25Speaker 5: Jaguars wanted to do, Meaning they made some additions in
- 7:28Speaker 5: the off season to a team that they thought was
- 7:31Speaker 5: good but struggled at the end. They fixed a lot
- 7:33Speaker 5: of stuff, they sort of meandered a little bit at
- 7:37Speaker 5: the beginning of the season, and now these pieces are
- 7:40Speaker 5: coming together and they look ascending. This is what the
- 7:44Speaker 5: Jaguars wanted to be now right now, and unfortunately they're not.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Stay with us here, on jag Zam.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Coming up after the break, we'll talk more about the
- 7:51Speaker 2: Eagles and that matchup coming on Sunday. Welcome back to
- 8:06Speaker 2: Jagzam presented by Field's Auto Group, Jacksonville's premiere luxury auto group.
- 8:09Speaker 2: You can head over to Fields Auto dot com. Welcome
- 8:16Speaker 2: back into jag Zam. We are heading to Philadelphia this weekend.
- 8:19Speaker 2: It is not going to be an easy matchup by
- 8:21Speaker 2: any stretch of the imagination. I think you guys both
- 8:23Speaker 2: remember that game in Philly a couple of years ago
- 8:26Speaker 2: and the pouring rain, so it doesn't look like rain
- 8:28Speaker 2: and the forecast, so that alone is probably better off.
- 8:31Speaker 2: But this team right now is pretty impressive. They strung
- 8:34Speaker 2: together three wins in a row. We know what they're
- 8:36Speaker 2: capable of. And obviously Doug Peterson familiar with that team.
- 8:39Speaker 2: He talked a little bit yesterday about Jingalen Hurts and
- 8:41Speaker 2: the progression he's seen from him in the last couple
- 8:43Speaker 2: of years.
- 8:45Speaker 6: The challenge obviously is his you know, the ability to
- 8:49Speaker 6: create plays, you know, the ones that aren't there, and
- 8:51Speaker 6: he makes it. He's really good outside the pocket. He's
- 8:56Speaker 6: tough to bring down. He's strong, powerful, you know, and
- 9:01Speaker 6: He's improved so much in the passing game too, you know,
- 9:05Speaker 6: and he's got obviously got some weapons around him.
- 9:08Speaker 1: You know.
- 9:09Speaker 6: And it's just again another player that is is playing
- 9:13Speaker 6: with confidence.
- 9:14Speaker 2: You know.
- 9:14Speaker 6: Again, they're they're kind of catching their stride from early
- 9:17Speaker 6: in the season, you know, when they had a couple
- 9:19Speaker 6: couple losses there. But he makes it go, you know, offensively.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Rian, you talked a little bit about the running game,
- 9:29Speaker 2: but half of the running games Jalen Hurts and then
- 9:31Speaker 2: finding those receivers when he when people think he's gonna run,
- 9:34Speaker 2: it's it's when he is on, he is on, and
- 9:36Speaker 2: it's impressive.
- 9:37Speaker 4: I gotta imagine that the weight room show that Hurts
- 9:40Speaker 4: and Barkley put on is impressive because each one of
- 9:43Speaker 4: these guys squats something over six hundred pounds. So when
- 9:47Speaker 4: you hear the Jaguars defenders talk about not arm tackling, yeah,
- 9:50Speaker 4: you're not gonna arm tackle these guys. You've got to
- 9:53Speaker 4: wrap up and you've got to get your leg strength
- 9:55Speaker 4: into it. These I here's the thing I really am
- 9:58Speaker 4: concerned about this week is that you Wars struggled to
- 10:01Speaker 4: tackle Josh Jacobs, who's a good player, but he's not
- 10:04Speaker 4: Saquon Barkley. This week is a completely different challenge.
- 10:09Speaker 5: Yeah, I fear a lot for the Jaguars this week,
- 10:12Speaker 5: and I'm not trying to be facetious, but it feels
- 10:15Speaker 5: like they match up not great to get some of
- 10:20Speaker 5: the Eagles strings. I mean it seems struggled to stop
- 10:22Speaker 5: the run, struggled on the interior, meaning the Jaguars, if
- 10:27Speaker 5: they get their tackling plan, like if they tackle better
- 10:29Speaker 5: than they did last week, you can alleviate a lot
- 10:32Speaker 5: of that. But the Eagles have an identity. They know
- 10:36Speaker 5: how they want to play. They play to it once
- 10:40Speaker 5: they get it going, and they get into play action
- 10:43Speaker 5: and start testing this secondary stopping the run and stopping
- 10:48Speaker 5: the deep pass. They've got to do much better period
- 10:52Speaker 5: over the course of the season. The Jaguars do. They
- 10:55Speaker 5: really have to get a lot better this weekend or
- 10:56Speaker 5: this could turn outly At.
- 10:57Speaker 4: A heart, I'm totally focused on stopping the run. I mean,
- 11:00Speaker 4: if you can't stop the run, you're not gonna You're
- 11:02Speaker 4: not gonna make them throw the ball. I mean they will.
- 11:04Speaker 5: Subject against the teams that really wanted to do that,
- 11:07Speaker 5: the Bears, for example, There's been games where you just
- 11:10Speaker 5: felt like they're not going to get the They have
- 11:12Speaker 5: to get it done this week, and the.
- 11:14Speaker 4: Jet wars in the inside of that defense in front
- 11:16Speaker 4: have not been good. I mean, Devon Hamilton is a
- 11:19Speaker 4: guy that they have had a lot of high hopes
- 11:22Speaker 4: for and they he had a terrific training camp and
- 11:24Speaker 4: we haven't seen that guy. You've got Mason Smith who
- 11:28Speaker 4: has not been active, and Jordan Jefferson the rookie. They
- 11:32Speaker 4: just Roy's gone. Eric Armstead has played limited inside. They
- 11:37Speaker 4: have got to be better between the tackles, and I
- 11:41Speaker 4: don't know how they get there.
- 11:43Speaker 1: We flipped to the other side of the ball.
- 11:44Speaker 2: Trevor Lawrence talked a little bit about what the challenges
- 11:46Speaker 2: the Eagles defense percents.
- 11:49Speaker 3: Well coached defense. They know what to do. Everything looks
- 11:52Speaker 3: the same, really good disguises. It all comes out of
- 11:54Speaker 3: this shell and then at the snaps the changes and
- 11:57Speaker 3: they do a good job of disguising, disguising some pressures.
- 12:00Speaker 3: They mix the fronts up. You know, it's not that
- 12:03Speaker 3: they don't. It's not a group that pressures a ton necessarily.
- 12:05Speaker 3: They just since like they do at the right time,
- 12:07Speaker 3: they're on the same page. They really stress your protections.
- 12:09Speaker 3: When they do, they like to get one on ones
- 12:12Speaker 3: up front. You know this this D line is is
- 12:15Speaker 3: a really good group, so they play to their strengths
- 12:17Speaker 3: and then the guys in the back end they fly around.
- 12:20Speaker 3: These backers are really physical, very physical, and then the
- 12:26Speaker 3: back end is smart and they got good ball skills
- 12:28Speaker 3: and they're all playing together. So I think you see
- 12:30Speaker 3: their defense every week you watch the season, They've gotten
- 12:33Speaker 3: better and better every week.
- 12:35Speaker 2: John was seeing the slow starts from the offense this year.
- 12:37Speaker 2: What is it going to take to get things going early?
- 12:39Speaker 2: In Philly played better early.
- 12:42Speaker 5: Look, the Eagles defense is not on paper their strength.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Uh.
- 12:48Speaker 5: The way they built this defense this year was the
- 12:51Speaker 5: hope was to have it improve as the season went
- 12:54Speaker 5: on and then compliment a really good offense once they
- 12:57Speaker 5: get to the postseason. They have young cornerbacks, be able
- 13:00Speaker 5: to take advantage of young cornerbacks. But they're good. They
- 13:03Speaker 5: don't have a lot of takeaways. My concern with this
- 13:06Speaker 5: is it's a Vic Fangio defense. Vic's defense is at
- 13:10Speaker 5: some point start taking the ball away because they confuse you. Uh,
- 13:14Speaker 5: what I don't want to see happen? And what the
- 13:16Speaker 5: Jaguars need to avoid is sort of getting manhandled in
- 13:20Speaker 5: the first half by a strong Eagles running game and
- 13:23Speaker 5: then being playing uphill in the second half into a
- 13:28Speaker 5: you know, it's gonna be a four o'clock game, it's
- 13:30Speaker 5: gonna get to dark, Bryan, it's gonna get you know,
- 13:33Speaker 5: it's gonna feel windy and cold, and you're throwing into
- 13:36Speaker 5: a confusing defense that hasn't had a lot of takeaway.
- 13:38Speaker 5: You don't want to see takeover central. Uh, that's a
- 13:41Speaker 5: scenario that could play out. It's what the Jaguars have
- 13:43Speaker 5: to guard against. And that's what I worry about the
- 13:44Speaker 5: most of the seconds.
- 13:45Speaker 4: Youd better be able to run the ball to some degree.
- 13:48Speaker 4: Jordan Davis and Jalen Carter, both Georgia Bulldogs, are outstanding inside.
- 13:54Speaker 4: They win their matchups. You're gonna have to find it.
- 13:57Speaker 4: You've got to be able to make them get to
- 14:00Speaker 4: some degree otherwise and now they listen, Darius Slay has
- 14:04Speaker 4: been injured. They have some young players. Quentin Williams, the
- 14:08Speaker 4: kid from Toledo and the safety from Iowa are both
- 14:12Speaker 4: young players. So if you can keep them off balanced,
- 14:15Speaker 4: maybe you can find some room in that secondary. But
- 14:18Speaker 4: to me, this is all about upfront on both sides
- 14:20Speaker 4: of the ball. Your interior three have got to find
- 14:24Speaker 4: a way to create a gap so that Travis or
- 14:27Speaker 4: Tank can find some room.
- 14:30Speaker 1: All right, stay with us here on JAGXAM.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Coming up after the break, we will give you what
- 14:33Speaker 2: we think the headlines are going to be on Monday morning.
- 14:47Speaker 2: Sad it all distrusted and reliable moving company set it's
- 14:50Speaker 2: proud to be official moving company of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
- 14:53Speaker 1: To get a guaranteed quote, you can visit.
- 14:55Speaker 2: Sutteth dot com slash Jacks. We are going to do
- 15:07Speaker 2: our best at predicting the future as to what the
- 15:10Speaker 2: headlines are going to be on Monday.
- 15:12Speaker 1: And I don't know if we want.
- 15:14Speaker 2: To be predicting this week because I feel like we
- 15:15Speaker 2: might all be on a similar plane, John, what did
- 15:18Speaker 2: you pick well particular.
- 15:20Speaker 5: Propocess by saying I love the heart this team showed
- 15:23Speaker 5: last week. I love to fight. What I worry about
- 15:27Speaker 5: is is there enough personnel going forward or like on
- 15:31Speaker 5: the offensive line at receiver to keep that up. So
- 15:36Speaker 5: my headline, if there's.
- 15:38Speaker 1: A graphic just too much, I believe just too much.
- 15:41Speaker 5: And that's mine, that's Brian's but anyway, just too much.
- 15:45Speaker 5: Just I think the Jaguars will fight. But as we've
- 15:48Speaker 5: talked about a little bit in the show, this is
- 15:50Speaker 5: not trying to be pessimistic, it's trying to be realistic.
- 15:52Speaker 5: The Eagles match up physically in spots where the Jaguars
- 15:57Speaker 5: haven't played that well yet this year. So I kind
- 16:00Speaker 5: of worry that the Eagles will have just too much
- 16:03Speaker 5: up there, and that the situation even you know, it's
- 16:06Speaker 5: a hard place to play.
- 16:07Speaker 4: It gets dark.
- 16:08Speaker 5: At noon, you know, it's so it's I think they're
- 16:12Speaker 5: already going into daylight saving times.
- 16:16Speaker 4: It will be dark at one o'clock.
- 16:18Speaker 5: So I just feel like it's going to be one
- 16:20Speaker 5: of those days. And who knows, if the Jaguars played
- 16:24Speaker 5: like they did on Sunday, with that kind of fight,
- 16:27Speaker 5: they could pull the upset, but it would be an.
- 16:29Speaker 1: Upset, all right, Brian, We got a little preview year
- 16:31Speaker 1: as well.
- 16:31Speaker 4: Yeah, thrown up in the spirit of Halloween. I'm not
- 16:35Speaker 4: a horror movie guy, but I did like the classic
- 16:38Speaker 4: Alfred hitch Cock thriller The Birds this week, and you
- 16:42Speaker 4: can see there are birds everywhere, and it's kind of
- 16:45Speaker 4: like John said, their strengths play right now to weak
- 16:49Speaker 4: spots for the Jaguars, and it just seems like, just
- 16:53Speaker 4: like that, there's just going to be too many things
- 16:56Speaker 4: for the Jaguars to contend with on Sunday. I don't
- 17:00Speaker 4: I don't. I don't predict scores, but it just seems
- 17:03Speaker 4: like they can throw the ball deep. Draguars have struggled
- 17:06Speaker 4: with that. They're running the ball powerful. The dag struggled
- 17:10Speaker 4: with that last week. It just seems to me like
- 17:13Speaker 4: there's just going to be too many things that the
- 17:16Speaker 4: birds can do.
- 17:16Speaker 5: And the Eagles also believe in themselves right now, which
- 17:19Speaker 5: means a lot in Thissly, and I think the Jaguars
- 17:22Speaker 5: want to believe. I think if they can get some
- 17:24Speaker 5: stuff going early, they might start believing. So maybe that'll
- 17:27Speaker 5: be the tipping point. But it's hard to keep believing
- 17:31Speaker 5: when you have the frustrations they've had so far this season,
- 17:34Speaker 5: especially when you're up against whe they're going to be
- 17:36Speaker 5: up against.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Suenden haven't gotten the results so far.
- 17:39Speaker 2: I went with this hurts because I think it's gonna
- 17:41Speaker 2: be a Jalen day for sure. We've talked a little
- 17:43Speaker 2: bit about what he's been able to do in terms
- 17:46Speaker 2: of evolution. Doug Peterson talked about how he's been throwing
- 17:48Speaker 2: the ball better. He still runs the ball great, had
- 17:50Speaker 2: two rushing touchdowns last week. And when we talk about
- 17:53Speaker 2: you know, if you shut down the passing game, he'll
- 17:56Speaker 2: run on you, and if you do the opposite, then
- 17:57Speaker 2: he'll throw. So I think that could be problematic for
- 18:01Speaker 2: this team. But I would love to be wrong, and
- 18:03Speaker 2: I would love to rescind that headline on this Monday morning.
- 18:07Speaker 2: But we will come back after the break talk a
- 18:09Speaker 2: little bit more about.
- 18:10Speaker 1: What's going on the rest of this week. Yeah expands.
- 18:22Speaker 2: If you want customized dragu Wars furniture for your home,
- 18:24Speaker 2: check out zipcha dot com to rouse all the customizable
- 18:26Speaker 2: options and zip Chair is furniture made from fans.
- 18:32Speaker 5: Welcome you back.
- 18:32Speaker 2: A couple of days away from game day in Philadelphia.
- 18:34Speaker 2: We talked a lot about players that aren't gonna be
- 18:36Speaker 2: playing this week, but there are potentially a couple of
- 18:37Speaker 2: players that are coming back this week.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Brian maybe do we'll be.
- 18:40Speaker 4: Back maybe, And that would certainly help the guy that
- 18:44Speaker 4: I would like to see back as Travis etn from
- 18:47Speaker 4: the hamstring, because, as we talked about the other day,
- 18:50Speaker 4: the ability to throw the ball short and let him
- 18:52Speaker 4: try to make a play. Is probably their best running
- 18:55Speaker 4: game on Sunday against the Bears or the Bears against
- 18:57Speaker 4: the Eagles.
- 18:58Speaker 5: Yeah, you gotta have that balance, and I think getting
- 19:00Speaker 5: Travis back with Tank would be something that would help
- 19:04Speaker 5: in this the way you're going to play on Sunday,
- 19:07Speaker 5: and I'd be surprised if Dow he's not back.
- 19:09Speaker 2: All right, just a reminder to all of the Jags fans,
- 19:11Speaker 2: it's not primetime matchup anymore. It's gonna be at four
- 19:13Speaker 2: oh five, So tune in for that one and we
- 19:16Speaker 2: will be back on Monday on Jagsam to recap everything
- 19:18Speaker 2: from Sunday.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Enjoy the game.
