Speaker 2: by the mainstream media. First up, the United States Attorney
• 0:32
Speaker 2: for the District of Columbia, Judge Janine, said that her
• 0:35
Speaker 2: office has an investigation into the Metropolitan Police Department of
• 0:40
Speaker 2: DC and it has revealed widespread misclassification, deliberately of crime
• 0:47
Speaker 2: stats that made Washington, DC's crime levels appear lower than
• 0:51
Speaker 2: they actually were. How did they do it and how
• 0:54
Speaker 2: bad was the fraud? We'll expose it all for you. Also,
• 0:59
Speaker 2: the President nine say, it's of America taking a major
• 1:01
Speaker 2: step to save many American lives, classifying fetanyl now as
• 1:07
Speaker 2: a weapon of mass destruction. So what does this mean
• 1:11
Speaker 2: for what he can do now to Narco Terrace. It's
• 1:14
Speaker 2: going to give the President even more power to go

• 3:31
  Speaker 3: Story number one.
• 3:33
Speaker 2: What's easier than actually fighting crime? Well, if you're a Democrat, apparently,
• 3:37
Speaker 2: line about the crime stats to make it look like
• 3:40
Speaker 2: you're fighting crime is more important than actually saving American lives.
• 3:45
Speaker 2: We now know that is exactly what was happening in Washington, DC.
• 3:50
Speaker 2: The US Attorney judge Andine said that DC authorities were
• 3:55
Speaker 2: literally artificially deflating crime stats to manipulate the numbers to
• 4:01
Speaker 2: make it look like DC was safer than it actually was.
• 4:06
Speaker 2: That's right, the United States Attorney for the District of Columbia,
• 4:09
Speaker 2: saying that her office is investigation into the Metropolitan Police
• 4:14
Speaker 2: Department revealed widespread miss classification of crime reports that made
• 4:20
Speaker 2: DC crime levels appear lower than they actually were, meaning
• 4:25
Speaker 2: fewer victims. The US Attorney for the District of Columbia
• 4:28
Speaker 2: revealed in a statement posted to her official ex account
• 4:32
Speaker 2: that in August of twenty twenty five, the United States
• 4:36
Speaker 2: Attorney's Office in DC began an investigation into the Metropolitan
• 4:41
Speaker 2: Police Department's reported deflation of crime statistics. The need for
• 4:46
Speaker 2: accurate information to fight crime, she went on to say,
• 4:49
Speaker 2: is essential, but that wasn't what Democrats were doing at
• 4:53
Speaker 2: all in DC. They just wanted to lie to the
• 4:56
Speaker 2: people while crime was out of control, saying it's not
• 4:59
Speaker 2: a as bad as you think it is. She went
• 5:02
Speaker 2: on to say this after review of almost six thousand
• 5:06
Speaker 2: reports and the interview of over fifty witnesses, it is
• 5:11
Speaker 2: evident that a significant number of reports had straight up
• 5:15
Speaker 2: been misclassified, making crime appear artificially lower than reality. Now,
• 5:22
Speaker 2: the uncovering of these manipulated crime stystics make clear that
• 5:26
Speaker 2: President Trump has reduced crime even more than originally thought.
• 5:30
Speaker 2: Since crimes were actually higher than reported, his crime fighting
• 5:35
Speaker 2: efforts have delivered even more safety to the people of
• 5:38
Speaker 2: the District of Columbia. Judge Janine concluded that quote, while
• 5:42
Speaker 2: the conduct did not rise to the level of a
• 5:45
Speaker 2: criminal charge, it is up to the MPD to take
• 5:49
Speaker 2: steps to internally address these underlying issues. Even more about
• 5:54
Speaker 2: this has broken since then, and the jow Dropping report
• 5:58
Speaker 2: has just come out from the House just to confirm
• 6:02
Speaker 2: what we all knew. The left wing DC police chief
• 6:06
Speaker 2: falsified crime statistics, cooking the books to make her city
• 6:12
Speaker 2: seem much safer than it actually was. Take a listen
• 6:16
  Speaker 2: to this from.
• 6:17
Speaker 4: Fox Led a House Overside Committee now releasing a report
• 6:20
Speaker 4: accusing the outgoing DC police chief manipulating data to artificially
• 6:25
Speaker 4: lower crime statistics. Bill Malusian looking at the numbers, He's
• 6:29
Speaker 4: live on the Hill with this Bill. What you find out? Bill,
• 6:33
Speaker 4: Good morning to you.
• 6:34
Speaker 5: Those House Overside Committee Republicans say the bottom line of
• 6:37
Speaker 5: what their investigation found is that the outgoing DC Police
• 6:41
Speaker 5: chief was essentially cooking the books on crime data and
• 6:45
Speaker 5: trying to make the city seem a whole lot safer
• 6:47
Speaker 5: than it really was. Now, those House Republicans say what
• 6:49
Speaker 5: their investigation consisted of was interviewing all seven commanders of
• 6:54
Speaker 5: DC Metro Police's patrol districts, including a former commander who
• 6:57
Speaker 5: is currently suspended for allegedly ten mpering with crime stats
• 7:01
Speaker 5: in his own district. And these are some of the
• 7:03
Speaker 5: conclusions they've made in their report. They alleged that DC
• 7:06
Speaker 5: Metro Police Chief Pamela Smith pressured commanders to report lower
• 7:10
Speaker 5: crime stats by any means necessary. The commanders testified that
• 7:14
Speaker 5: Chief Smith even pushed them to pursue lesser charges that
• 7:17
Speaker 5: aren't publicly reported, even for serious crimes, and she required
• 7:22
Speaker 5: certain crimes to be reviewed by her office now. The
• 7:25
Speaker 5: report also says police commanders testified that Chief Smith punished
• 7:29
Speaker 5: them and retaliated against them if they tried to report
• 7:32
Speaker 5: accurate rising crime data, even braiding them in meetings and
• 7:37
Speaker 5: individually to pressure them into reporting those lower crime figures. Now.
• 7:41
Speaker 5: In a statement on the report, House Overside Committee Chairman
• 7:44
Speaker 5: James Comer says, in part quote, Chief Pamela Smith coerced
• 7:47
Speaker 5: staff to report artificially low crime data and cultivated a
• 7:51
Speaker 5: culture of fear to achieve her agenda.
• 7:54
Speaker 2: A culture of fear to attempt to attain her agenda.
• 8:00
Speaker 2: Pola Chief rigged the data. She didn't actually fight crime.
• 8:05
Speaker 2: She just lied about the crime stats, pressuring the commanders
• 8:10
Speaker 2: to report lower crime statistics, push them to pursue lesser
• 8:16
Speaker 2: charges for serious crimes. Required certain crimes to actually be
• 8:21
Speaker 2: reviewed by her office, not because she was afraid of
• 8:24
Speaker 2: what was happening on the streets in the district of Columbia. No no, no,
• 8:28
Speaker 2: no no, so that she could misclassify them so it
• 8:32
Speaker 2: wouldn't seem as dangerous and retaliated and punished individuals if
• 8:37
Speaker 2: they reported crimes accurately. You look at this data and
• 8:43
Speaker 2: you hear what I just played for you. It is
• 8:46
Speaker 2: shocking to know that this was how things are being run.
• 8:51
Speaker 2: We found out even more from Fox News Channel about
• 8:55
Speaker 2: all of this in a later report in the afternoon
• 8:59
  Speaker 2: take at.
• 9:00
Speaker 6: All right and moments ago. US Attorney Janin Piro here
• 9:04
Speaker 6: in Washington, d C. Responding to allegations the DC crime
• 9:07
Speaker 6: data was manipulated by the outgoing police Chief Pamela Smith.
• 9:12
Speaker 6: That claim coming from a new House Oversight Committee report
• 9:15
Speaker 6: our Congressional correspondent Bill Malojia and with the latest on
• 9:18
Speaker 6: Capitol Hill, Bill well John.
• 9:21
Speaker 5: Republicans on the House Oversight Committee say their investigation concluded
• 9:24
Speaker 5: that this outgoing DC police chief was trying to make
• 9:28
Speaker 5: the city seem a whole lot safer than it really was,
• 9:30
Speaker 5: and she was doing it by allegedly cooking the books
• 9:34
Speaker 5: on crime statistics. So the Republicans on the committee say
• 9:37
Speaker 5: their investigation consisted of interviewing seven different DC Metro Police
• 9:42
Speaker 5: commanders who represent all of the patrol districts out here.
• 9:45
Speaker 5: That included a former commander who's currently suspended for allegedly
• 9:50
Speaker 5: tampering with crime stats in his own district. And these
• 9:53
Speaker 5: are some of the conclusions they've made in their report.
• 9:55
Speaker 5: Number one, they alleged that DC Metro Police Chief Pamela
• 9:59
Speaker 5: Smith pressured commit to report lower crime stats by any
• 10:03
Speaker 5: means necessary. Commanders testified that Chief Smith pushed them to
• 10:06
Speaker 5: pursue lesser charges that aren't publicly reported, even for serious crimes,
• 10:12
Speaker 5: and she also required certain crimes to be reviewed by
• 10:15
Speaker 5: her office. In a statement on this report. House Overside
• 10:18
Speaker 5: Committee Chairman James Comer says, in part quote, Chief Pamela
• 10:21
Speaker 5: Smith coerced staff to report artificially low crime data and
• 10:25
Speaker 5: cultivated a culture of fear to achieve her agenda. Chief
• 10:28
Speaker 5: Smith's decision to mislead the public by manipulating crime stats
• 10:32
Speaker 5: is dangerous and undermined trust in both local leadership and
• 10:35
Speaker 5: law enforcement. Meanwhile, DC Mayor Muriel Bowser was asked to
• 10:39
Speaker 5: respond to the House Overside Committee Republicans' findings earlier this morning.
• 10:43
  Speaker 5: Take a listen.
• 10:44
Speaker 1: I don't see any evidence of that if the claim is,
• 10:47
Speaker 1: and I don't think anybody is demonstrated that the police
• 10:50
Speaker 1: chief directed anybody to change numbers when those when the
• 10:55
Speaker 1: committee provides me their backup information, which they haven't, and
• 11:00
Speaker 1: the committee provided the report to the Washington Post before
• 11:04
Speaker 1: they provided it to us. Highly unusual when you're talking
• 11:08
Speaker 1: about an audit of numbers.
• 11:11
Speaker 5: And John just moments ago, the US Attorney here in
• 11:13
Speaker 5: d C, Janine Piro, responded to this report. She put
• 11:17
Speaker 5: out a statement on X which essentially says that yes,
• 11:20
Speaker 5: these crime stats were manipulated, and the manipulation of that
• 11:24
Speaker 5: data shows that President Trump has reduced crime here in
• 11:27
Speaker 5: DC a whole lot more than initially thought. She went
• 11:30
Speaker 5: on to say that what happened here with the crime
• 11:32
Speaker 5: stats does not rise to the level of any criminal
• 11:35
Speaker 5: charges or a crime, but that the DC Police Department
• 11:39
Speaker 5: has to change their practices moving forward. Well, send it
• 11:42
  Speaker 5: back to.
• 11:42
Speaker 6: You, yeah, I another Before everything changed in this summer, we
• 11:45
Speaker 6: were all hearing, well, the crime is down in DC,
• 11:47
Speaker 6: and none of us said anything to peg that toos.
• 11:50
Speaker 2: None of us had any of that to peg it to.
• 11:53
Speaker 2: So the DC Police chief manipulating the crime data, artificially
• 11:58
Speaker 2: lowering the crime stats, and coerced staff to report low
• 12:02
Speaker 2: data and cultivated a culture of fear to achieve her agenda,
• 12:06
Speaker 2: and didn't punish the criminals. She punished the DC police
• 12:11
Speaker 2: officers to pursue lesser charges for serious crimes. This is
• 12:17
Speaker 2: the Democratic Party and it's exactly why Donald Trump won
• 12:21
Speaker 2: the election. It's also exactly why he's fighting crime all
• 12:24
Speaker 2: over the country and sending in the National Guard, because
• 12:28
Speaker 2: even in cities where Democrats claim crime was dropping, they
• 12:32
Speaker 2: were flat out lying and cooking the books.
• 12:35
Speaker 3: Now story number two, President.
• 12:37
Speaker 2: Trump has made it very clear that he believes that
• 12:40
Speaker 2: Fetnolm is a national security threat. It is killing in
• 12:44
Speaker 2: essence a plane of Americans every single day. No one
• 12:49
Speaker 2: in this country would stand for a plane crash every day,
• 12:52
Speaker 2: of innocent Americans crashing to the ground. But that's the
• 12:57
Speaker 2: equivalent of what is happening at the hands of narcotra.
• 13:00
  Speaker 3: Now.
• 13:01
Speaker 2: Donald Trump is moving forward with an idea of classifying
• 13:04
Speaker 2: fetanyl as a weapon of mass destruction. That's right, President
• 13:09
Speaker 2: Trump saying on Monday that he was classifying fetanyl as
• 13:13
Speaker 2: a weapon of mass destruction, ramping up his administration's campaign
• 13:17
Speaker 2: against drug cartels in Latin America. Quote, no bomb does
• 13:22
Speaker 2: what this is doing. Two hundred to three hundred thousand
• 13:26
Speaker 2: people die every year that we know of. Trump set
• 13:29
Speaker 2: at the signing of an executive order that places fetanol
• 13:32
Speaker 2: in the same category as nuclear and chemical weapons. In
• 13:36
Speaker 2: twenty twenty four, the Sentence for Disease Control and Prevention
• 13:39
Speaker 2: report an estimated total of about eighty thousand overdose deaths
• 13:43
Speaker 2: in the country, with some forty eight thousand of those
• 13:47
Speaker 2: due to synthetic opioids. The executive order set ilicit fetanyl
• 13:52
Speaker 2: is closer to a chemical weapon than a narcotic and
• 13:56
Speaker 2: that it threatens our national security and fuel is lawlessness
• 14:00
Speaker 2: in our hemisphere and at our borders. The FETANL classification
• 14:05
Speaker 2: ties in with the Trump administration's war against alleged narco terraces,
• 14:10
Speaker 2: which has included a military campaign targeting drug smuggling boats
• 14:15
Speaker 2: with strikes that have left nearly ninety people dead since
• 14:18
Speaker 2: early September. While Trump argues that destroying each of the
• 14:22
Speaker 2: more than twenty intercepted vessels saves twenty five thousand American lives,
• 14:28
Speaker 2: the left is furious that the president would actually go
• 14:31
Speaker 2: after boats carrying cocaine and fetnyl and other synthetic opioids
• 14:36
Speaker 2: driving the overdose crisis. Leave it to the Democratic Party
• 14:40
Speaker 2: to defend the terrorists instead of protecting American citizens. Trump
• 14:46
Speaker 2: is a coming to strikes with a massive military build
• 14:48
Speaker 2: up as well in the Caribbean that includes the world's
• 14:51
Speaker 2: largest aircraft carrier and a slew of other warships, while
• 14:54
Speaker 2: a string of US military aircraft have flown along Venezuela's
• 14:59
Speaker 2: co in recent weeks.
• 15:02
  Speaker 5: Now.
• 15:02
Speaker 2: While Trump and his administration say the target of the
• 15:05
Speaker 2: military build up is drug trafficking, Venezuela as radical narco
• 15:09
Speaker 2: terrorist leader Maduro, is accusing Washington of using narcotics smuggling
• 15:14
Speaker 2: as a pretext for what he says is regime change
• 15:18
Speaker 2: in Caracas. The United States has sought to link the
• 15:21
Speaker 2: two issues, and Donald Trump is leading on it, accusing
• 15:25
Speaker 2: Maduro of leading the alleged Cartel of the Sons, which
• 15:28
Speaker 2: is declared to narco terrorist organization, and now offering a
• 15:33
Speaker 2: fifty million dollar reward for information leading to Maduro's capture.
• 15:38
Speaker 2: So this is yet again another campaign promise that has
• 15:42
Speaker 2: now turned into reality. President Trump said he was going
• 15:44
Speaker 2: to do everything he could to keep Americans safe from fetnol,
• 15:48
Speaker 2: and this is one step forward in classifying the drug
• 15:52
Speaker 2: in a way that now allows him even more authority
• 15:55
Speaker 2: to go after those that are selling it, those that
• 15:58
Speaker 2: are shipping it, and those that are producing it.
