- 0:19Hello, and welcome to episode 178 of the All Systems Go sports
- 0:25Betting podcast powered by Rhythm.
- 0:28I'm your host Josh Applebaum. What's going on everyone?
- 0:36Happy Monday, a new week begins and we got a lot to get to on
- 0:40today's podcast. We have the final game of NFL
- 0:43week 14. That's right, Cincinnati
- 0:45Bengals, Dallas Cowboys. I have 3 plays on this one.
- 0:49I like a play on the side. I like to play on the total and
- 0:52I got a player prop for you. So let's see if we can get two
- 0:54out of these 3 eek out a winning night on Monday Night Football.
- 0:57That would be nice. And then college hoops to
- 0:59college basketball plays for you guys.
- 1:01Both are low bet, obscure added game, extra game, line moves.
- 1:05The games that the public wants nothing to do with, can't even
- 1:07find on their app as we always talk about with the six digit
- 1:10rotation or Vegas ID number. Yet pros have it and cause line
- 1:14movement on. So A5 pack overall.
- 1:16See if we can grab, scratch and claw, grind, whatever you want
- 1:19to call it, get our way to three or more and eke out a winning
- 1:22night. And by the way, we need a
- 1:24winning night because it was a bad weekend, No way to sugarcoat
- 1:27it. Bad Friday.
- 1:28Last time we talked, remember Thursday was six and one, almost
- 1:32swept the board. Friday was O and four and boy
- 1:34was it brutal. Lost on Western Kentucky plus 4
- 1:381/2. They lost 52 to 12.
- 1:41Also lost the UNLV plus 4 1/2. They lost 21 to 7.
- 1:44Remember, UNLV had multiple opportunities, their goal line
- 1:47plays where they could have scored, just never could get any
- 1:50offense going. Georgia State and college hoops
- 1:53came up short on the money line. They lost by 4 at the end.
- 1:56And you know things aren't going your way when again with hockey.
- 2:00It's been just a rough year and I might have to retire from
- 2:02hockey this year and maybe start next year because Dallas Stars
- 2:06last Friday night, they lose 3:00 to 2:00.
- 2:09But we got them with great closing line value.
- 2:11They close -1 or sorry, they we got got them at -120 they close
- 2:15-140 they lose the game. So O and four Golden sombrero on
- 2:19Friday, Saturday, not much better one and four.
- 2:22The only winner was Joshua Van in the UFC, which came through,
- 2:25which was nice. But Penn State +3 and half
- 2:28against Oregon lose by 7. Just could not get any stops
- 2:31against that Oregon offense. Texas money line, you know,
- 2:34making me think we have a chance.
- 2:36They're going into OT. They lose Miami, Ohio gets blown
- 2:39out, Iowa State gets blown out. And then Sunday, 1:00 and 1:00
- 2:43with our official bets, the Chargers Kansas City under did
- 2:46come through. We lost on the Cardinals.
- 2:48That was perplexing to me. Beat the closing line there
- 2:51again. And you might have added other
- 2:53plays like me. I was kind of, I don't want to
- 2:56do this and it's something you should never try to do.
- 2:58But I was on tilt a little bit. Just so frustrated by the
- 3:01previous day's results. I said screw it, which I
- 3:03shouldn't have done. I shouldn't have done.
- 3:05And I added the Bears plus 3 1/2.
- 3:07They get rolled. I added the Raiders +7.
- 3:11They don't cover the number did have Jalen Waddle who was able
- 3:16to go over his prop, but the Bryce Young this is a play that
- 3:19I talked about on Sunday sweats, which reminder Sunday sweats
- 3:23presented by Rhythm and Garage beer every Sunday from 11:00 AM
- 3:26Eastern Time to noon. This is when I knew it's like
- 3:29I'm just having a bad stretch here and sometimes this
- 3:31happened, happens, but Bryce Young, I had over 191 1/2
- 3:36passing yards. Guess what he landed at 191.
- 3:40So that was the coup de grace, the fact that we couldn't get
- 3:42one more yard. And there was a pass.
- 3:44If you watch late in that game, remember that was the game where
- 3:47somebody bet 3,000,000 on the money line to win like 400K on
- 3:51the Eagles. And the Carolina Panthers had an
- 3:53opportunity to win the game and beat that better.
- 3:56Who again, I, I think if there's anything in karma, in life,
- 3:59people who bet a ton to make a little, it's just a stupid bet.
- 4:03Yeah, he, he got the last laugh. He won.
- 4:05But there was a pass which would have won the Bryce Young over
- 4:09easily. Instead, Xavier Leget drops it.
- 4:14It would he would have had it at like first and goal to three.
- 4:16So when I lost the Bryce Young over 191 and half land and 191,
- 4:20I just said, you know what, we're beating closing lines,
- 4:22We're getting blown out. I'm betting dogs, they get
- 4:25crushed. I'm betting favorites, they're
- 4:26losing out, right. I said, you know what, it just
- 4:29isn't for me. It was a bad weekend overall.
- 4:30So sometimes that's going to happen.
- 4:33And I think the important thing when you're betting on sports, a
- 4:35couple things. Sports betting is really easy
- 4:37when you're winning. It is not easy when you're
- 4:39losing. Because when you start losing, a
- 4:42lot of things happen. Number one, you start to
- 4:43question yourself #2 you start to question line moves, analysis
- 4:48by paralysis. You talk yourself out of sharp
- 4:50bets, out of fear of losing more, and you talk yourself into
- 4:53bad bets because you want to get it back.
- 4:55So I think the most important thing is whether you're hot or
- 4:58cold. And in sports betting, we're
- 5:00going to go through epic hot stretches where it feels like,
- 5:03you know, we can't miss. And then they're going to be
- 5:05stretches like over the weekend where everything you touch, you
- 5:08know, turns to crap. And I think the, the important
- 5:11thing here is not to get too high when you're winning, not to
- 5:13get too low when you're losing. When we're going six and one,
- 5:16we're probably not quite as good as we think when we're going 2
- 5:20and 10 over the weekend, just embarrassing or not as bad as we
- 5:23think. So again, you just got to stick
- 5:26with it, stay the course. But I hope you had a good
- 5:29weekend. I had a rough weekend and the
- 5:31sharp line moves did not come through.
- 5:32But the beauty of sports betting, the silver lining is
- 5:36that you have a bad weekend Monday.
- 5:38The sun still rises, there's still games to bet on.
- 5:42There's opportunities to get it back.
- 5:44No one's going to say you're you had a bad weekend, therefore
- 5:47we're rescinding your sports betting card and you can no
- 5:49longer make any bets. No, we have an opportunity to,
- 5:53you know, let the sunrise get back in the arena, bet some
- 5:56sharp games and try to get it back.
- 5:59So there's the challenge of when you're winning, staying hot.
- 6:01There's the challenge of when you're struggling to get back in
- 6:03the green. And we have the second challenge
- 6:05here for today. But man, that weekend was not
- 6:08the weekend I was expecting. You're hoping for.
- 6:10But hey, sometimes it happens. Sometimes the betting gods can
- 6:13be very cruel and that's what happened this weekend.
- 6:15So so you can get it back and start a win streak for today.
- 6:19Now, I mentioned 5 pack three Monday Night Football bats, 2
- 6:22college basketball bats. Remember all the best bets that
- 6:24I mentioned on the pod are available on Juice Reel.
- 6:27So if you want to support the pod, you want to get access to
- 6:29these plays a little bit earlier and get some better numbers, you
- 6:32can always follow on the Juice Reel app.
- 6:34I tweeted out each day for my Twitter account at Josh under
- 6:37score insights. You can also go on the Juice
- 6:39Reel app search, go to social search juicers and then look or
- 6:44type in basically ASG under score podcast.
- 6:47It's 499 a week. Again, I don't love that it
- 6:50sounds like I'm touting, which I'm I'm not.
- 6:52I'm the antithesis of a tout, but think of it as a way to let
- 6:57me know you appreciate the pod again, if my insights help you,
- 7:00obviously last week there this past weekend didn't help quite a
- 7:03bit. But if you want to sport the
- 7:06pod, you want to follow the plays, get them early.
- 7:09You can sign up on juice real for 499 a week, which is
- 7:11basically a cup of coffee now as I'm a little annoyed and I want
- 7:16to get some units back after a weekend where and the other
- 7:18thing about betting guys is when you're hot, you cannot wait to
- 7:21sweat the next game. When you're cold, it's like the
- 7:24hole keeps getting deeper. But anyway, flat betting very
- 7:28important here when you're up or down.
- 7:30Let's talk about Monday Night Football because I like both the
- 7:32side, the total and a player prop in this game.
- 7:36So we got the Dallas Cowboys and the Cincinnati Bengals.
- 7:39Now going into this one, let's set the stage.
- 7:41Talk about how the market has moved and talk about some plays.
- 7:44Bengals come into this one, four and eight.
- 7:46They've dropped four of their last five.
- 7:48Just came up short against the Steelers, 44 to 38 lost outright
- 7:51as a three-point home favorite. Joe Burrows having a great year,
- 7:54but he's pretty much the only good thing that's happening with
- 7:57the Bengals. Meanwhile, the Cowboys five and
- 7:59seven, they've won two in a row, just took down the Giants 27 to
- 8:0220 on Thanksgiving Day. They covered as a four and a
- 8:05half point home favorite. So what have you seen across the
- 8:07market here? Well, this game actually opened
- 8:09early opener of Bengals as high as -6 1/2 on the road.
- 8:13And since that opener was posted, there's been nothing but
- 8:16one way movement in favor of the Cowboys.
- 8:18Like the Cowboys tonight, guys. And again, shop around because
- 8:22there's different numbers across the board.
- 8:24So try to get the plus 5 1/2. That's what I got with Dallas.
- 8:27But anyway, Bengals open minus 6 1/2.
- 8:29They get down to six, then 5 1/2.
- 8:31Now you're seeing on game day lines a lot of books getting
- 8:34down to five. I even saw one book as low as 4
- 8:361/2. So it really tells you that this
- 8:38is a good shop for the best line opportunity.
- 8:40But it's been one way movement in favor of Dallas tells me
- 8:43smart, respected money is going on the Cowboys tonight.
- 8:45And also, I'm getting a lot of questions, especially from
- 8:48people who, you know, read my articles at V Sin, how to
- 8:51interpret the bet splits from DraftKings versus Circa.
- 8:54I think the important thing is to first start off by knowing
- 8:57what kind of book each book is. I've been trying to mention this
- 9:00on the pod because it can be a little bit confusing, but just
- 9:03think of DraftKings as a huge public book that's like your
- 9:05Walmart. It's everywhere.
- 9:07Pretty much it. It basically caters to, you
- 9:10know, average Joe bettors. Circa, on the other hand, based
- 9:13in Vegas, you got to get out there if you've never been.
- 9:15It's like Disney World for for sports betters.
- 9:17It's just awesome, whether it's stadium swim or sweating games
- 9:20in front of the big screen. But they cater more to
- 9:23professional betters. They take in big wagers.
- 9:25They have higher limits. So what I'm looking for is when
- 9:28I ask myself, where's the public?
- 9:30I'm looking at the DraftKings percentages and the public
- 9:32tonight. Surprisingly, I thought, you
- 9:34know, the public would maybe be a little bit wary of laying
- 9:36points of Cincinnati because they've struggled this year.
- 9:39But no, 72% of bets at DraftKings are on Cincy.
- 9:43So DraftKings public book three out of four bets on Cincy tells
- 9:47me we have a good contrarian opportunity to take Dallas.
- 9:50Then let's go to Circa, who prides itself on taking in smart
- 9:53money. 47% of bets on Dallas, but 65% of dollars on Dallas.
- 9:59So that tells me a sharp book. It's a little bit more even
- 10:01still technically contrarian, your sub 50%, but good low bets,
- 10:05higher dollars, bigger share of dollars versus bets on Dallas.
- 10:09So that's how I use it. DraftKings tell me where the
- 10:11public is. Circa, I want low bets, higher
- 10:14dollars to tell me where the sharps are at.
- 10:16So we're contrarian with Dallas. We got smart money at Circa.
- 10:19We have a reverse line move lines going to Dallas.
- 10:22Then we layer in some betting systems.
- 10:24So prime time home dogs getting five points or more, they're 23
- 10:28and 12 against the spread 66% Twenty 6% ROI since 2020.
- 10:34So that's the spot Dallas is in tonight.
- 10:36Also like the Dallas has a rest advantage.
- 10:38They last played on Thanksgiving.
- 10:39Remember that was Thursday, November 28th versus Cincinnati
- 10:43who played on Sunday, December 1st.
- 10:45So a few extra days of rest rehab game plan for Dallas.
- 10:49I'll take that now can't deny the fact that since he's got the
- 10:53better offense, they're averaging 28 points a game
- 10:55versus 21 for Dallas. But here's where I think there's
- 10:58an opening for Dallas to cover this number.
- 11:01Both these teams are not very good defensively.
- 11:03They're allowing 28 points per game.
- 11:05But in the last three since he's giving up 38 a game versus
- 11:08Dallas giving up 27. So if you know, basically since
- 11:12he's going to score, we need Dallas to score to keep pace and
- 11:14the fact that since he is really pours defensively and they have
- 11:18a big injury, this is a big one for me.
- 11:19Logan Wilson, the really good linebacker who wears the green
- 11:22dot in his helmet, the communicator in the middle of
- 11:24that defense, he's on IR so he's out for the year.
- 11:27They have a bunch of other injuries for Cincinnati.
- 11:30The bad defense, hopefully of Cincy and then losing their
- 11:33signal caller hopefully provides offense and a cover opportunity
- 11:37for Dallas. Oh, by the way, Cooper rush
- 11:40seven and three against the spread in his career.
- 11:42And then we go to our friends at Rhythm.
- 11:44I got 2 models here. One model says Dallas should be
- 11:47plus 2.8. The other model says Dallas
- 11:49should be plus 4.2. So even if you take the 4.2, if
- 11:53you can shop around and get that 5 1/2, I got plus 5 1/2.
- 11:56I want to say it was either at FanDuel or ESPN bet, but there
- 11:59are still a couple 5 1/2's out there.
- 12:01You're not going to get the 6th. I think that's long gone.
- 12:04But can you get the five and a half and have a good rhythm edge
- 12:06with a 2.8 or 4.2? That should be available to you.
- 12:09So my first bet for this game is Weedem Boys.
- 12:13Let's go Cowboys plus 5 1/2. My second bet for this game is
- 12:17I'm going to play the over. Now, I always worry a high
- 12:20total, just two good, two good offenses, bad defenses play the
- 12:23over. Typically there's an opportunity
- 12:25to go contrarian and go the other way and take the under,
- 12:28But I got a lot of angles to this over.
- 12:30First off is there's been nothing but consistent over
- 12:32money. So this opened at 44 1/2, a very
- 12:35low relative total. Now it's all the way up to 50 at
- 12:40DraftKings. 76% of bets, 74% of dollars on the over at circa,
- 12:4590% of bets, 98% of dollars on the over.
- 12:48So both DraftKings and Circa have both basically pro and Joe
- 12:52bet splits, both heavy bets and dollars.
- 12:54That tells me that the public is saying let's go over because
- 12:57since he's catching a lot of overs.
- 12:59But wise guys aren't saying no just because public likes the
- 13:02over. I'm there for just out of, you
- 13:03know, pure fade, the public going to go under.
- 13:06No, they actually agree. Wise guys have hit this number
- 13:09and cause it to go over. Now Monday Night Football overs.
- 13:12Have you guys noticed? They've done really well this
- 13:14year. They're 12:00 and 4:00 to the
- 13:17over on Monday Night Football. 75% and these are two really
- 13:21good over teams. Since he is 9 and three to the
- 13:23over, that's third best in in the NFL.
- 13:26Dallas is 8 and two eight and four to the over, 5th best in
- 13:29the NFL. Also, this game we played in a
- 13:31Dome controlled environment, no weather.
- 13:34And then the other angle is you should be able to shop around
- 13:37and find a 49 1/2. I was able to find 49 1/2.
- 13:41I took that over and a little cherry on top, our friends at
- 13:44rhythm have this total at 53. So again, I've never been one
- 13:48who's been scared to play up, you know, a high total
- 13:50contrarian under, but there's been nothing but over money.
- 13:53We have two good over teams. Monday Night Football overs have
- 13:56crushed it. Rhythm has a 53 so I'm going
- 13:59over if you can find that 49 1/2.
- 14:01That's what I got over 49 1/2 since the Dallas now player
- 14:06prop, there's an opportunity to buy low on a really good wide
- 14:09receiver tonight, and that is CD Lamb.
- 14:11Now CD Lamb over 66 1/2 receiving yards.
- 14:15That's what I got at FanDuel. Shop around because some books
- 14:18are as high as 69 1/2 now. It's a bit of a buy low on CD
- 14:22Lamb because on Thanksgiving against the Cowboys or against
- 14:24the Giants, he only had two catches for 39 yards.
- 14:28So I always kind of like buying low on a guy who maybe had a bad
- 14:31game because like if CD Lamb put up 150 yards against the Giants
- 14:35last week, the total isn't 66 1/2.
- 14:38It's probably in the 70s. So bit of a buy low.
- 14:41Then I also was noticing on rhythm and we'll get to the
- 14:44projection here in a second. A good one to the over that with
- 14:47the basically the chart or the graph, the line graph saw some
- 14:51really good green lines to the over in particular.
- 14:54When CD Lamb plays at home, his last 10 home games, he is he has
- 15:00gone over 66 and half receiving yards in eight of 10 games.
- 15:03So he's 8:00 and 2:00 to the over for this number, last 10 at
- 15:06home, last 20 at home. He's 15 and five to the over for
- 15:10this number. So he's really, you know, played
- 15:12well at home since he by the way, giving up 241 passing yards
- 15:17a game. That's 27th in the NFL.
- 15:19And in their last three, they've given up 326 passing yards dead
- 15:24last. And of course, this is a Dome.
- 15:26It's a high total expect offense and Dallas is a dog probably
- 15:30have to throw the ball to keep pace with Joe Burrow Cherry on
- 15:32top to end it all, Rhythm is predicting CD Lamb with 80.4
- 15:37receiving yards. So we have a by low opportunity.
- 15:41He's been great at home bad since he passed.
- 15:44Defense dog indoors rhythm edge. I got CD Lamb over 66 1/2
- 15:49receiving yards. So I'm going with Dallas plus 5
- 15:531/2, the over 49 1/2 and CD Lamb over 66 1/2.
- 15:57Again, different books have different numbers.
- 15:59Shop around, try to get the best price.
- 16:01Now let's look over to college hoops because weirdly, there's
- 16:05only five games in college basketball.
- 16:08Big night tomorrow, there's 24 or 25.
- 16:10But I landed on two games that caught my eye and they are right
- 16:14in our wheelhouse with low bet added obscure sharp line moves.
- 16:17So the first one, they're both at 7:00.
- 16:20Let's start with the first one, Charleston Southern, the
- 16:22Buccaneers against South Carolina State, the Bulldogs,
- 16:26this is game three O 659-530-6596.
- 16:30Now Charleston Southern comes in three and eight.
- 16:33They just lost their last game to who was that?
- 16:37Davidson. Yeah, lost to Davidson snapped
- 16:40A2 game-winning streak. South Carolina State, they
- 16:43started, what was it? I want to say four and three,
- 16:49but now they've lost three straight.
- 16:50I just lost to Sanford. So both teams coming off a loss,
- 16:55but what's the most important thing when we get to these added
- 16:57extra games? Line movement.
- 16:58Because even though the public doesn't care at all about
- 17:00Charleston, Southern South Carolina State, they can't even
- 17:03find it on their app. Wise guys have hit this number
- 17:06and they've hit South Carolina State.
- 17:08South Carolina State open as low as -1 -, 1 1/2.
- 17:12Now they're up to -2 -, 2 1/2. So we got a line move in a low
- 17:15bed obscure game. I'm going money line here.
- 17:18I was able to get South Carolina State on the money line at what
- 17:23was it -130 and they have really good bets split on the money
- 17:26line at DraftKings, 70% bets, 84% dollars.
- 17:30Now, Ken Palm has South Carolina State winning by two.
- 17:33So again, I'm not going to lay a 2 or 2 1/2.
- 17:36Yes, I'll save some juice, but they win by one or two.
- 17:39I push or I lose. So that's why I'm going money
- 17:41line. But a lot of advantages here,
- 17:43hopefully in favor of South Carolina state #1 they're only
- 17:47shooting 64% from the free throw line.
- 17:49Pretty bad, right? But Charleston Southern is one
- 17:52of the worst free throw shooting teams in college basketball.
- 17:54They're only shooting 57%. So hopefully they missed their
- 17:57foul shots. Better shooting from South
- 17:59Carolina State, 46% versus 44%. Better defensive efficiency, 231
- 18:05in the country versus 280. They're giving up 71 a game
- 18:09versus nearly 80 for Charleston Southern.
- 18:11And then home Rd. splits. Charleston Southern is only they
- 18:15are one in five on the road. They've really struggled.
- 18:17South Carolina State, they're two and one at home now.
- 18:21Little cherry on top to added in to add or end the cap here.
- 18:25Our friends at Rhythm have South Carolina state -2.8 and -2.2.
- 18:31So add it all up. Low bet added obscure, sharp
- 18:33line move. Good money line bet split.
- 18:35Ken Palms got him winning by two.
- 18:38Rhythms got him winning by two or three.
- 18:40Better offense, better defense, home Rd. splits.
- 18:42I'm going South Carolina State, the Bulldogs on the money line
- 18:47at -130 and then last bit of the night for you. 7:00 another
- 18:51added extra game. Hofstra visiting Norfolk State
- 18:56now going to this one. Hofstra is 7 and three.
- 18:58They've won two in a row and three of their last four.
- 19:00Norfolk State is 6 and three and they've won two in a row.
- 19:04So unlike the Charleston Southern, South Carolina State
- 19:07losing records and have lost in games here you have two good
- 19:11teams. So maybe a better product
- 19:12visually or watching the game. But hopefully same result with a
- 19:16home favorite winning. Now going in this one, we have
- 19:19Norfolk State opening as around a 2 1/2 point home favorite.
- 19:23And we've seen them get bet up now to -3 1/2.
- 19:26Some looks even juice like they're going to four.
- 19:28So right off the bat, we got a line move toward Norfolk State.
- 19:31Now at DraftKings on the money line, Norfolk State is only
- 19:34getting 68% of bets, but 83% of dollars.
- 19:38So really good low bets, higher dollars bets.
- 19:40What I was able to get Norfolk State on the money line at -164
- 19:44some shops are a little bit higher.
- 19:46I think that was FanDuel. Some shops are close to like
- 19:48-175 now, but still a money line play.
- 19:52Ken Palm has a winning by 5. He's got him ranked higher 144
- 19:55in the country versus 169 and a lot of advantages here for
- 19:59Norfolk State. Offensively, big advantage.
- 20:01They're ranked 140th and offensive efficiency versus 238
- 20:05for Hofstra. Better effective field goal
- 20:08percentage 53%. Versus I can't even read my own
- 20:11writing, 48% better free throw shooting 79% versus 70% more
- 20:18experience, 2.2 years on average versus 1.4 for Hofstra Home Rd.
- 20:23You know, we got to mention that Norfolk State 3 and O at home,
- 20:26Hofstra one and two on the road, and then also offensively,
- 20:31they're averaging nearly 80 a game versus around 70 for
- 20:33Hofstra. So if you like South Carolina
- 20:36State, I think you like Norfolk State.
- 20:37Both are added extra game, obscure sharp line moves toward
- 20:41the home team. And Rhythm, by the way, has
- 20:43Norfolk State minus 3.6. So that's another money line
- 20:47play for me. I got Norfolk State, the
- 20:49Spartans at -164 so Norfolk State and South Carolina State
- 20:55both on the money line. And that about does it for
- 20:59episode 178 of the All Systems Go Sports Betting podcast here
- 21:03Powered by Rhythm. This is the part of the pod
- 21:06where you wrap things up. And I start first by thanking
- 21:08you, thanking you for taking the time out of your busy lives to
- 21:11tune into the pod. I know it's a great listen when
- 21:14you know we're winning and things are going well.
- 21:16But in a way, I actually respect you guys more when you stick
- 21:19with us when maybe we don't have a good day or have a bad weekend
- 21:22like we just had. Again, I can't tell you much of
- 21:24A disappointment this past weekend was, but again, that's
- 21:28betting. If you bet long enough, you're
- 21:29going to have weekends like that.
- 21:31But First off, thank you for listening and then secondly, can
- 21:34you do me a favor? Can you make me happy?
- 21:36Let me know you appreciate the pod winning or losing.
- 21:39Hopefully you appreciate the breakdowns because I'll be
- 21:42honest, I search around constantly for other podcasts or
- 21:46people who give you data-driven breakdowns and I really don't
- 21:48hear it anywhere. I very rarely hear anyone.
- 21:51Some people talk about line movement, but they never
- 21:53mentioned percentages, bet systems, the stuff we talked
- 21:56about. So hopefully you find this pod
- 21:58unique and beneficial and you can let me know you find it
- 22:01unique and beneficial by again giving it a five star review.
- 22:04Whether you're listening on Spotify or iTunes, click that
- 22:07rate and review. If you want to leave a nice
- 22:09comment, that would be great, but five stars would go a long
- 22:11way to continuing to help us grow the pod and reach more more
- 22:14ears across the market. If you want to click the follow
- 22:18button, that way you get alerted as soon as it drops each day.
- 22:20That'll be awesome as well. Next, if you enjoy this podcast
- 22:25in the breakdowns and you want to learn more about data-driven
- 22:28sports betting or because it's the holiday season, you have no
- 22:31clue what to get your dad, your son, your uncle, your nephew for
- 22:35Christmas or Hanukkah or the holidays or their birthday.
- 22:38I got an idea. It's less than 20 bucks.
- 22:40It's not going to cost you much. Hopefully it'll it'll win you
- 22:43more money long term. But you should buy that person
- 22:45in your life. Maybe they're sports better.
- 22:47Maybe they're looking to get into sports betting.
- 22:49You should buy them a book called the Everything Guide to
- 22:52Sports Betting. Just go to Amazon.com and type
- 22:54in the Everything Guide to Sports Betting.
- 22:56That's my book, my baby. I poured everything I knew into
- 22:59that thing and it's got everything that I've learned in
- 23:02the sports betting industry. How lines are set, how and why
- 23:04they move, how to read line movement, how to locate sharp
- 23:07action, how to place a bet in person or online, how to shop
- 23:10for the best line, how to set up a bankroll management plan,
- 23:13chapters in all the major sports.
- 23:14It's all included in the Everything Guide to Sports
- 23:16Betting. So again, makes a great stocking
- 23:19stuffer if you're looking for a relatively cheap gift to get
- 23:22that person who maybe should learn to avoid parlays.
- 23:26Next. Have you taken advantage of a 7
- 23:28day free trial of Juice Reel or Rhythm yet?
- 23:30My two favorite sports betting apps because just like me, they
- 23:33focus on data, not opinion, not bias, but what the numbers are
- 23:37saying. So Rhythm fantastic for their AI
- 23:39backed models and predictions for game bets and player props.
- 23:43Again, what other site is going to give you predicted lines for
- 23:45Norfolk State and South Carolina state rhythms got all the
- 23:48different games and the lines and predicted models and
- 23:52predictions. And then juice reel where all
- 23:54the ASG podcast best bets are now found.
- 23:57But also you can follow the robo Jackson best bets.
- 24:00The arbitrage plays the sharp mush indicators.
- 24:02Shop for the best line is very quick and easy on juice reel.
- 24:06And you can also sync your sports books and get a running
- 24:08record of your performance. But both apps are free to
- 24:11download. Give them a shot, see if you
- 24:14like it like them. I think you're going to enjoy
- 24:16them, but please start with a 7 day free trial and go from
- 24:19there. So that about does it for
- 24:21today's pod. Hopefully a bounce back after a
- 24:23nightmare of a weekend. And hey, we we got to just, you
- 24:27know, put 11 foot in front of the other and then try to get a
- 24:29bounce back night here. But as always, thank you guys
- 24:32for tuning in and grinding with me through the UPS and the
- 24:35downs. But that about does it, of
- 24:37course. So I'll leave you with a couple
- 24:39file, you know, final statements, final thoughts.
- 24:41One, whether I see you at the Borgata in Atlantic City, Twin
- 24:45River in Rhode Island, the brook of New Hampshire, Foxwoods or
- 24:47Mohegan Sun down in Connecticut, at the Encore in Boston or
- 24:51Plainers Park Casino or MGM Springfield in my neck of the
- 24:54woods in Massachusetts. And also, I might have to add
- 24:56this to my little, you know, spiel at the end.
- 24:59I live about 20 minutes from Nashua, NH, and I'm in
- 25:02Massachusetts. But Nashua, NH is opening a new
- 25:05sports book. It's called The Nash and it's
- 25:07really nice. Actually drove by it this
- 25:09weekend with my wife and it's under construction and it's
- 25:12going to be like a three story sports book with bars and
- 25:15restaurants and all kinds of stuff.
- 25:17So that might be my new go to sports book, The Nash.
- 25:20Looking forward to that opening. Or of course, out in the desert
- 25:22where the true grinders get down, where Billy Walter sends
- 25:25his number runners, where the lowest juice possible is found
- 25:27at the South Point or sweat and Sharp and train plays, jumping
- 25:30in the stadium swimming pool. When you catch a big ticket at
- 25:33Circa, wherever it may be, you're going to walk up to me
- 25:35and you know what we're just we're going to take a shot,
- 25:38maybe two shots, maybe three shots from a rough weekend and
- 25:41we're going to try to get it back here for tonight.
- 25:43Sweat some sharp contrarian plays together.
- 25:45So that about does everybody as always, remember, stay sharp,
- 25:49stay contrarian, bet against the public, place yourself on the
- 25:52side of the house. Always be with the smart money.
- 25:55Never against it. Will smart money when every
- 25:56time. No, I could argue a lot of these
- 25:58bets over the weekend where CLV plays sharp, smart money plays,
- 26:03but gambling gods just, you know, took our money and laughed
- 26:05at us. Sometimes that's going to
- 26:06happen. But here's the thing, whether
- 26:09it's a hot streak or a cold streak, always playing the long
- 26:12game and if we can consistently make bets of their head and not
- 26:14our heart against the public, with the sharps, with the pros,
- 26:18flat bet, with the house, get closing line value, flat bet.
- 26:21If we can do that, you know, these ups and downs will happen,
- 26:24but we'll be able to profit long term.
- 26:27So have a great money on everybody.
- 26:29Let's see if we can bust out, you know, a bounce back night
- 26:31here and we'll be right back at it for tomorrow, a big Tuesday.
- 26:35Get ready for a lot of college hoops for tomorrow, which will
- 26:37be episode 179 of the All systems Go sports betting
- 26:41podcast powered by rhythm. Good luck everybody and have a
- 26:45great Monday night.
