- 0:03Speaker 1: and Matt Flynn.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Let's let's go.
- 0:06Speaker 1: From a championship backfield to your morning drive Hanesday.
- 0:09Speaker 3: Hester and Hester got it.
- 0:11Speaker 1: FA, You're locked in to Off the Bench control the
- 0:19Speaker 1: Live from the Mercedes Benz Baton Rouge Studio. Here's Jacob
- 0:23Speaker 1: Hester and Matt Flynn.
- 0:44Speaker 4: That threw me off Thursday, Your Day, Thursdays on Day.
- 0:50Speaker 5: Although you did the rhythm, I didn't know what. I
- 0:52Speaker 5: thought you were having a heart attack over there.
- 0:54Speaker 4: Guy's gotta change up, got to keep the listeners.
- 0:57Speaker 2: And also the people in this room.
- 1:00Speaker 5: Jake Flynn, A Landra Tate Ah here with you.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Flynn, I told you it's Thursday morning. How did we
- 1:10Speaker 2: do last night? A Landra?
- 1:11Speaker 3: So, I think I did pretty well. Okay, So we
- 1:15Speaker 3: figured it out. If you just grab a bunch of
- 1:18Speaker 3: beers and walk around with the beers and you're like.
- 1:23Speaker 6: Old beer here, like you're like a.
- 1:25Speaker 3: Dodgers stadium is what Hun was calling it last night,
- 1:29Speaker 3: and you just walk around with the beers.
- 1:31Speaker 6: People just grab a beer and tip you. Yeah, so
- 1:34Speaker 6: that was our strategy last night.
- 1:37Speaker 3: Hunt actually took it a lot more seriously than I
- 1:39Speaker 3: thought he was going to. I thought he was just
- 1:42Speaker 3: gonna go like drink some bud lights and pretty much it. Right.
- 1:46Speaker 6: Yeah, No, he like was putting in the work shout
- 1:49Speaker 6: out hunt all right. I was like, look at you.
- 1:52Speaker 3: He would show me all his little tips whenever he
- 1:54Speaker 3: would get on and I'd be like, oh my gosh.
- 1:57Speaker 4: Where was he put in the front pocket?
- 1:59Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 2:00Speaker 6: Okay, so they were in the pants.
- 2:02Speaker 4: In the pants straight in waistband.
- 2:07Speaker 2: In the waistband.
- 2:09Speaker 6: But yeah, no, I think it went well.
- 2:11Speaker 3: I ended up leaving before they announced like the winners
- 2:17Speaker 3: or whatever, how the people.
- 2:18Speaker 6: That had the most.
- 2:20Speaker 3: But I will say this, I don't think I went
- 2:23Speaker 3: or even got top three in like the whole entire
- 2:25Speaker 3: competition because there's like doctors out there, and I feel
- 2:31Speaker 3: like doctors like they're really good at raising money because
- 2:35Speaker 3: they work with a bunch of super rich people. You
- 2:38Speaker 3: could basically just go around to the hospitals and be like, hey,
- 2:41Speaker 3: I know you're super rich, donate a bunch of money
- 2:43Speaker 3: to the kids. And I feel like whenever I looked
- 2:47Speaker 3: at the leaderboard last week, because they posted one, they
- 2:51Speaker 3: posted like a leaderboard or whatever, there's just doctors up there.
- 2:56Speaker 7: They have pre donations and then day off it's like
- 3:02Speaker 7: and they're like, oh, day up. I dominated It's like the.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Ballots in ballots too at the end of the show.
- 3:13Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 3:13Speaker 3: And I've been talking about it just like last week. Yeah,
- 3:15Speaker 3: shout out Chuck. So I got some. I posted it
- 3:18Speaker 3: online and everything. So I do think that I got
- 3:21Speaker 3: more than Hunt.
- 3:22Speaker 4: Should we be like mad at our listeners? No, what's
- 3:26Speaker 4: going on?
- 3:26Speaker 8: No?
- 3:26Speaker 2: They did good.
- 3:27Speaker 6: Listeners were great. Also. I met like a couple of
- 3:29Speaker 6: them last night, and one of them was super cool.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Here's one.
- 3:33Speaker 6: He was like a big fan. I was like, things, man, good,
- 3:35Speaker 6: you had fun. He gave me a tip.
- 3:37Speaker 2: There you go go.
- 3:39Speaker 5: One thing also to remember for the Hunt portion of
- 3:42Speaker 5: this is his wife is involved as well.
- 3:46Speaker 6: She is involved.
- 3:47Speaker 5: And when the wife's involved, everybody in here knows. When
- 3:51Speaker 5: the spouse is involved, you better take it serious. You
- 3:54Speaker 5: better not go in there and just try to delete
- 3:56Speaker 5: some bud lights.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, it can't.
- 3:59Speaker 4: Be half stuffing in celebrity waiters.
- 4:01Speaker 3: He had to like really make up for last year
- 4:04Speaker 3: because last year he did he was supposed to be
- 4:07Speaker 3: a celebrity waiter and he didn't show up.
- 4:08Speaker 6: Because he thought it was the day after the day
- 4:11Speaker 6: it actually was.
- 4:12Speaker 3: And Jimmy Brooks came into work the next day and
- 4:15Speaker 3: was like, Hey, I saw your name on the list.
- 4:17Speaker 6: Why aren't you a celebrity waiter?
- 4:18Speaker 3: And he was like, because it's tonight and he was like, no,
- 4:21Speaker 3: it's definitely last night.
- 4:23Speaker 6: So he said somebody texted him last night. He said
- 4:26Speaker 6: someone texted me him.
- 4:27Speaker 3: Last night, just like Aaron hunts out. But he told
- 4:30Speaker 3: me he knows that I do this. But he said
- 4:34Speaker 3: that somebody texted him last night. Was like, hey, friendly
- 4:37Speaker 3: reminder for no particular reason that celebrity waiters tomorrow.
- 4:42Speaker 2: No reason at all, no particular reason.
- 4:44Speaker 5: You literally forgot last year. Hard to forget something like
- 4:48Speaker 5: that or mess up the days I feel.
- 4:50Speaker 4: Yeah, I would say I would say it is, but
- 4:53Speaker 4: then the kettle on. Yeah, I've forgotten some things before.
- 4:59Speaker 4: I need a lot of reminders. And if the wife
- 5:01Speaker 4: is involved, I'm assuming she wasn't involved last.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Year, she was involved this year.
- 5:07Speaker 5: At the table he came in here yesterday, he was
- 5:10Speaker 5: talking about the clothes that they were going to be
- 5:11Speaker 5: wearing the seventies.
- 5:12Speaker 4: Oh did we do this? Did we dress up?
- 5:14Speaker 8: No?
- 5:15Speaker 6: But I tried to as much as possible.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Like I said yesterday, I don't have seventies clothes at
- 5:20Speaker 3: the ready, but I did some like cool upper pants
- 5:24Speaker 3: like a ban tee and some red boots, so I
- 5:26Speaker 3: feel like it was kind of seventies.
- 5:28Speaker 4: Okay. Was there some people that were decked out?
- 5:30Speaker 6: There are people that like I took it serious. Yeah,
- 5:33Speaker 6: I took it very serious.
- 5:34Speaker 4: Probably got the best tips they probably did.
- 5:37Speaker 6: There are people like in bell Bottom, Oh my god,
- 5:39Speaker 6: Elija do Elijah forgot?
- 5:41Speaker 2: How you do forget?
- 5:43Speaker 6: How I did great?
- 5:44Speaker 2: How do you do recruiting?
- 5:45Speaker 6: I think I did great?
- 5:46Speaker 3: Okay, I was like, hey, what a I didn't actually
- 5:50Speaker 3: know it sounds like so I actually didn't really talked
- 5:52Speaker 3: to them all that much, but I probably still do better.
- 5:55Speaker 6: Than Flynn anyway something. But no, he did great. The
- 5:59Speaker 6: people coming up to him, though.
- 6:01Speaker 3: I felt like I wanted to tell people to chill
- 6:03Speaker 3: out though, because people kept coming up to.
- 6:06Speaker 6: Him and be like, so you're going to LSU right?
- 6:09Speaker 6: His answer every single time was.
- 6:12Speaker 3: We'll see, we'll see. Like super cool. But I'm like, okay,
- 6:15Speaker 3: can everybody relax, because like, if you keep asking him
- 6:18Speaker 3: this all night, he's gonna get so irritated.
- 6:21Speaker 4: He's like, I don't know.
- 6:22Speaker 7: My my my QB trainer keeps trying to get me
- 6:24Speaker 7: to go out of state.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Right, He's like, my QB trainer keeps telling me to
- 6:27Speaker 3: look at my options, so who.
- 6:28Speaker 4: Knows, but it's best for your family.
- 6:31Speaker 2: My QB trainer keeps telling me go to Florida. I
- 6:34Speaker 2: don't know, but he did.
- 6:36Speaker 3: Like his answer every time was like, we'll see, and
- 6:39Speaker 3: I'm like, oh.
- 6:40Speaker 4: With a smile on his face.
- 6:41Speaker 3: Yeah, but I'm like, can y'all stop asking him?
- 6:45Speaker 6: I was getting like cringe from asking him.
- 6:48Speaker 4: Relaxed, guys, He's.
- 6:51Speaker 6: Right, leave the kid alone. Let him do his little
- 6:54Speaker 6: celebrity waiter thing.
- 6:57Speaker 4: If I guess that's part of being a celebrity.
- 6:59Speaker 5: Yes, oh yeah, And Brad Paisley had a song about that.
- 7:04Speaker 4: So did Nickelback.
- 7:05Speaker 2: They did.
- 7:06Speaker 5: He did so when when Hunt came in here yesterday
- 7:10Speaker 5: and he's like, hey, it might be seventies style or
- 7:12Speaker 5: you know, whatever situation might be.
- 7:14Speaker 6: Yeah, you know that Brittany she had.
- 7:17Speaker 5: Yeah, you gotta you got to try to get something. Yeah,
- 7:20Speaker 5: if somebody went into each of your closets, which style,
- 7:24Speaker 5: like which kind of decade era? Would they no doubt
- 7:28Speaker 5: be able to find. I'm going early two thousands for
- 7:31Speaker 5: your boy.
- 7:31Speaker 4: You can still you can.
- 7:33Speaker 5: Get rid of that early two thousands. I feel like
- 7:35Speaker 5: you can. You can find something to make it.
- 7:38Speaker 4: Is it just because you still are holding on to
- 7:41Speaker 4: like your rookie year suit such a bot in the NFL.
- 7:44Speaker 4: Probably like that one company like Astor and Black or
- 7:47Speaker 4: something came into the locker.
- 7:49Speaker 2: LV.
- 7:49Speaker 4: I think was another one. LV was pretty good. They
- 7:51Speaker 4: were a little bit later, but like that first company,
- 7:53Speaker 4: they were like they specialized in the box pants and
- 7:56Speaker 4: the shoulder pads and in the suit jacket. I still
- 8:00Speaker 4: have a lot of those suits. I'm like, oh my god,
- 8:04Speaker 4: go look at.
- 8:04Speaker 2: The LV one. I don't have the other one though.
- 8:07Speaker 4: You look at the early two thousands, what's that picture
- 8:10Speaker 4: of there was the Patriots like before the Super Bowl
- 8:13Speaker 4: and they're all wearing their suits like getting on. It's like,
- 8:15Speaker 4: oh my god, everybody dressed like that and that's normal,
- 8:19Speaker 4: Like that's a style that should never come dou Like
- 8:22Speaker 4: I get everything rotates like seventies goes back to eighties?
- 8:24Speaker 4: Everything right now, is it not? It can't be early
- 8:27Speaker 4: two thousands.
- 8:28Speaker 7: Maybe it can't be pretty early I consider early two thousands.
- 8:34Speaker 6: Like tire, but low rise jeans are back.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I saw that tube tops with the jeans.
- 8:43Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, like a tight fitting kind of like
- 8:46Speaker 5: Hollister type shirt.
- 8:47Speaker 4: We consider that early two thousands. I'm assuming that's.
- 8:50Speaker 7: That's a that's a I mean, I grew up in
- 8:53Speaker 7: early two thousands, but it's just I don't know. I'm
- 8:54Speaker 7: trying to like my fingers to have seventies.
- 8:58Speaker 5: Play eighties your claw. Like you'd be able to find
- 9:01Speaker 5: some like great band T shirt.
- 9:02Speaker 3: Yeah, you can find some grungy stuff in my closet.
- 9:05Speaker 6: Yeah, Like I have some pretty baggy jeans in my closet.
- 9:08Speaker 2: Well that's the early nineties.
- 9:10Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I feel like you'd be okay, I've.
- 9:14Speaker 7: Got a lot of shar early two thousands. Yeah, sure,
- 9:17Speaker 7: ye standardize that's like early two thousands is the one
- 9:23Speaker 7: I can't put my finger on.
- 9:24Speaker 5: Like, I guess probably I feel like you still have
- 9:26Speaker 5: clothes that you wore to high school in your closet.
- 9:30Speaker 4: Yeah for sure, Yeah, for sure. I guess when I
- 9:34Speaker 4: think of earlier, I just think of the suit game,
- 9:36Speaker 4: and I hope that that should never come back.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Yeah, it's bag.
- 9:40Speaker 4: Suits, super baggy suits the shoulder like throughout.
- 9:43Speaker 5: The show, I want to try to find the suit
- 9:45Speaker 5: that I wore to my draft party with the shoulder pads, Like, yeah,
- 9:51Speaker 5: I want to find it.
- 9:52Speaker 4: Oh man, see yeah, see if you can find that
- 9:54Speaker 4: early two thousand picture of the Patriots going I can't
- 9:58Speaker 4: remember if they're getting on the bus, so they're like
- 9:59Speaker 4: a walk through or something. But Tom Brady with terrible
- 10:02Speaker 4: like early two thousands hair too. It's it's ugly, and
- 10:06Speaker 4: it's like that everybody did it.
- 10:08Speaker 2: You must have got his hair cut it apparently like
- 10:11Speaker 2: I did.
- 10:11Speaker 4: Apparently like women like thought that looked good too, because
- 10:15Speaker 4: they let their.
- 10:16Speaker 2: You don't you don't know within the moment, you don't
- 10:20Speaker 2: know what in the moment, like what were we all
- 10:21Speaker 2: looking at early two thousand suits? Like suits and hair styles.
- 10:25Speaker 6: And oh like you're saying, like how were women like yeah,
- 10:28Speaker 6: this is it?
- 10:28Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, that's this is the one that's the fit. Yo.
- 10:33Speaker 2: In the moment, you don't know any better, I know.
- 10:35Speaker 4: But when you look back on it, and I guess
- 10:38Speaker 4: that's any era, you look back at yourself and you're like,
- 10:41Speaker 4: what was I thinking like those suits? That's a different
- 10:44Speaker 4: level of bad. Yeah, I amo.
- 10:47Speaker 6: I mean two thousands fashion wasn't the best. No, it wasn't.
- 10:50Speaker 2: It was awful.
- 10:51Speaker 6: I would say that my favorite is probably the seventies.
- 10:54Speaker 3: Like whenever I binge watched Dallas, it went from like
- 10:57Speaker 3: seventies into early eighties Dallas.
- 10:59Speaker 6: I'm freaking love Dallas.
- 11:01Speaker 3: I probably reference it like so much, but like it
- 11:04Speaker 3: was like late seventies, early eighties, and I love the
- 11:08Speaker 3: fashion in that show.
- 11:10Speaker 6: It's so good.
- 11:11Speaker 2: It's so good.
- 11:12Speaker 6: But yeah, Dallas is great.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel like the fifties was easy, though. It's
- 11:16Speaker 2: like you were.
- 11:18Speaker 5: Decked out in the four like if you were either
- 11:23Speaker 5: had to were like wear a suit, yeah, or you
- 11:25Speaker 5: could just go white.
- 11:25Speaker 2: T shirt jeans.
- 11:26Speaker 4: Yeah, roll up this, roll up those jeans a little bit,
- 11:30Speaker 4: say swears. Yeah, hand I give you them fifty cups.
- 11:38Speaker 6: That's pretty good.
- 11:41Speaker 4: I don't think that's fifty I don't think that's.
- 11:49Speaker 6: That's like the guy that calls the boxing matches on
- 11:51Speaker 6: the radio.
- 11:55Speaker 2: All right, Well, I'm glad that Landra had a great time.
- 11:57Speaker 5: Yeah, I actually raised some money for a great Yes,
- 12:00Speaker 5: I'm glad that Hunt also had a great time and
- 12:03Speaker 5: did the same thing.
- 12:04Speaker 2: So it sounds like a great event.
- 12:05Speaker 6: It was great. It actually is a great event. Like
- 12:07Speaker 6: if anybody wants to get involved in it, you definitely should.
- 12:10Speaker 6: They do it every year.
- 12:11Speaker 3: It's the big twentieth anniversary for it next year, like
- 12:14Speaker 3: it's it started at walk On so it's grown so much,
- 12:17Speaker 3: like it's at Laberge now. So it really is a
- 12:20Speaker 3: great event. And you're helping kids who need people to
- 12:24Speaker 3: advocate for them. They're partnered with KASA the specialty. Yeah,
- 12:30Speaker 3: so it's it's great. Shout out that Rich Children's Advocacy Center.
- 12:36Speaker 5: Oh, also shout out to walk Ons for the other day,
- 12:41Speaker 5: we had a poncho clothing photo shoot and they boiled
- 12:45Speaker 5: some strimp for us, shut it down for us.
- 12:47Speaker 2: We crushed it. I crushed it the next day and
- 12:50Speaker 2: the next day.
- 12:51Speaker 4: Yeah, they didn't make it sound like NDA's or anything,
- 12:53Speaker 4: but guess what looking at a couple of male models
- 12:56Speaker 4: up here, I.
- 12:58Speaker 2: Mean yeah, people already kind of knew that, no big deal.
- 13:01Speaker 6: The blue steal from y'all was great.
- 13:04Speaker 2: It is funny, like so like.
- 13:08Speaker 4: You were laughing, Yeah, you were laughing. It was like, yeah,
- 13:13Speaker 4: it's honestly amazing when you're asked to do something you've
- 13:15Speaker 4: never like like you're not yearly comfortable, and then the
- 13:17Speaker 4: cameras in your face. Yeah, just act natural for a
- 13:19Speaker 4: little bit. It's amazing how fast you turn into a
- 13:22Speaker 4: car brother well because you're like, like charisma just goes
- 13:28Speaker 4: out there.
- 13:28Speaker 7: Now people can tell that you're like a like actively
- 13:31Speaker 7: trying to act naturally.
- 13:32Speaker 4: It doesn't laughing in the corner like two laughs.
- 13:37Speaker 5: It was funny moments. I laughed whe her, so like one,
- 13:41Speaker 5: we are very excited like we are. We're team Poncho
- 13:43Speaker 5: for for life, so we appreciate that partnership. But we
- 13:47Speaker 5: did kind of do a photo shoot here in the studio.
- 13:50Speaker 5: We did want to walk on but.
- 13:53Speaker 2: I can.
- 13:54Speaker 5: I can get up in front of it doesn't matter
- 13:57Speaker 5: like you like thirteen thousand people, like I did the
- 14:02Speaker 5: the National Championship Parade MC that I found found out
- 14:07Speaker 5: the night before because Gordy called me is like, hey,
- 14:09Speaker 5: I can't do it.
- 14:09Speaker 4: You got it.
- 14:09Speaker 5: I'm like, okay, cool, let's go. It feels very yeah, cool,
- 14:13Speaker 5: we'll do it. We'll ride like that does I have
- 14:16Speaker 5: zero nerves about that. But when I'm doing something like
- 14:19Speaker 5: we had to do the other day, and people like
- 14:21Speaker 5: my friends like A, Landa and Taylor are in here
- 14:24Speaker 5: and I have to do it. That is like the
- 14:27Speaker 5: most embarrassing thing, and that's nerves, Like you have to
- 14:31Speaker 5: you have to look.
- 14:33Speaker 2: At the camera.
- 14:35Speaker 6: Can we get like a point? Can you point out
- 14:37Speaker 6: the camera?
- 14:39Speaker 4: Anybody's ever done like a photo, whether it's like like
- 14:41Speaker 4: wedding shoot or senior photos, you do all these things.
- 14:45Speaker 4: They're like, it's gonna look, it's gonna feel and seem
- 14:49Speaker 4: really stupid to you, like in the moment, but it's
- 14:51Speaker 4: gonna look good when like the pictures come out. Well,
- 14:54Speaker 4: they're right, yeah, it look It felt dumb. It looked
- 14:58Speaker 4: great though when.
- 15:00Speaker 7: Goodell, anybody out there listening, you can tell our guy
- 15:05Speaker 7: Matt Flynn did some QB photo shoots back at the day, unprompted,
- 15:09Speaker 7: spinning the ball, looking at the camera like it was
- 15:11Speaker 7: it was, it was impressed.
- 15:13Speaker 2: Spinning it, holding it with like one hand, the camera a.
- 15:16Speaker 4: Little cheese on it. Yeah, I guess, guess A little
- 15:18Speaker 4: A little quick story time. I was actually, uh see,
- 15:22Speaker 4: after my rookie contract in Green Bay, that's when I
- 15:25Speaker 4: was hitting free agency, about to go to When this
- 15:28Speaker 4: was like pre going to Seattle, I didn't know where
- 15:30Speaker 4: I was gonna go. They were doing a Sports Illustrated
- 15:34Speaker 4: decided to do like a cover story on on me.
- 15:37Speaker 4: They just picked me like because I was, I don't know,
- 15:40Speaker 4: talking about four. It was all for free. So Peter
- 15:43Speaker 4: King flew down to Baton Rouge Monday morning, blew there
- 15:47Speaker 4: a photographer down spent the whole day with Peter King,
- 15:50Speaker 4: riding around like Lacey and or living a like Indigo
- 15:54Speaker 4: Park or something like that down on down Nicholson. We
- 15:58Speaker 4: went to the levee, We did like a big photo
- 16:00Speaker 4: shoot for like a couple of hours doing stuff, and
- 16:02Speaker 4: then so it spent the whole day with Peter King, Austome,
- 16:04Speaker 4: We went to eat, we hung out, blah blah blah,
- 16:07Speaker 4: and uh uh. I was like, all right, this is
- 16:11Speaker 4: gonna come out in like March or something like that.
- 16:12Speaker 4: When Free Agency hits well like a week later Bounty Gate. No,
- 16:21Speaker 4: so obviously clearly that goes on. So helltole article. So
- 16:27Speaker 4: you did, do you have a picture? Yeah? Yeah, Okay,
- 16:31Speaker 4: all right, I think oh, I think, yeah, yeah, for sure, Okay,
- 16:36Speaker 4: we're we're back. We're back. But yeah, it was supposed
- 16:38Speaker 4: to be.
- 16:38Speaker 5: But I think you got you got bumped one time too,
- 16:41Speaker 5: didn't you. I got from the cover of SI I stayed.
- 16:45Speaker 5: I was sort of on the cover. It was the Rockies.
- 16:51Speaker 5: So so we're playing Florida O seven and they do
- 16:55Speaker 5: the same thing. They send a couple of writers down
- 16:59Speaker 5: and we do. They follows me around, and you know,
- 17:01Speaker 5: he was They were intrigued because I was married. I
- 17:02Speaker 5: had like a little a little bit different lifestyle than
- 17:05Speaker 5: most college athletes, and so they followed me around.
- 17:08Speaker 2: We did a whole story or whatever, and I'll never
- 17:10Speaker 2: forget this.
- 17:11Speaker 5: As the guy's walking away, like it's like this Saturday
- 17:15Speaker 5: morning before the game, he was at lot Cook or whatever,
- 17:18Speaker 5: and he's like, hey, like we've we've kind of done
- 17:20Speaker 5: a lot here, like and he was serious.
- 17:22Speaker 2: He goes, I kind of need you do something special.
- 17:26Speaker 2: He was serious.
- 17:27Speaker 5: So he's like, I kind of need you do something special,
- 17:28Speaker 5: Like we've we've kind of put a lot into the story.
- 17:31Speaker 4: And I'm like.
- 17:35Speaker 5: No, so but I was like, okay, right, a lot
- 17:39Speaker 5: Cook and then so like we you know, we end
- 17:40Speaker 5: up having a great game, and it was a wild game.
- 17:42Speaker 5: The whole fourth down is the whole deal. And so
- 17:44Speaker 5: I'm like I see him after the game and of
- 17:46Speaker 5: course he you know, he's laughing about what he said.
- 17:48Speaker 5: He's like, that's kind of what I meant something like
- 17:51Speaker 5: that was like, Hey, you're gonna be on the cover.
- 17:53Speaker 5: I'm like the cover of what like the magazine? Like
- 17:55Speaker 5: you're on the cover.
- 17:57Speaker 2: So like I'm telling everybody, like I'm gonna be on
- 17:59Speaker 2: the cover, like this former two.
- 18:01Speaker 5: Star running back Slappy's gonna be on the cover of
- 18:04Speaker 5: Sports Illustrated. Well, the Rockies end up making the World
- 18:09Speaker 5: Series that year, the first time only time they've ever
- 18:11Speaker 5: made it, and so like because of that, because of
- 18:14Speaker 5: their run, it changed the cover to Rockies from like
- 18:21Speaker 5: bottom to top and then your boys about an inch
- 18:24Speaker 5: wide in the top left corner out there of the
- 18:28Speaker 5: cover of the Sports Illustrated.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Maybe's top er. I don't really remember you were on
- 18:31Speaker 2: the cover, but it was on the cover a small
- 18:34Speaker 2: picture on the cover of Sports Illustrated.
- 18:36Speaker 5: But like, hey, Sports Illustrated, do you think America cared
- 18:40Speaker 5: about the Rockies making the World Series?
- 18:43Speaker 2: Are one of the greatest college football games of all time?
- 18:45Speaker 4: Nope?
- 18:45Speaker 7: Right, Like that was gonna be my question, even if
- 18:47Speaker 7: the Rockies would have won it all, Like, do the
- 18:49Speaker 7: Rockies have fans do anybody care about it?
- 18:50Speaker 4: I think so.
- 18:54Speaker 5: When I was playing for Denver, I would go and
- 18:56Speaker 5: I'd wear my braves hat proudly to the Rocky games.
- 19:00Speaker 4: I don't like the Rocky and with.
- 19:02Speaker 5: Terrible jerseys, black vests with black undershirts.
- 19:06Speaker 4: What's the purpose and what's the purpose of the purpose
- 19:09Speaker 4: is that because vest are classy? No rockies, so fly
- 19:14Speaker 4: kite rockies and fly kite. Greg Williams, Yep, was that
- 19:19Speaker 4: one though?
- 19:20Speaker 2: You make the cover? I forgot I was trying to
- 19:24Speaker 2: get to you were almost to big.
- 19:27Speaker 4: It would have been big. It would have been huge,
- 19:29Speaker 4: would have been like MJ.
- 19:31Speaker 5: Stadd is a little bit bigger than my picture. See
- 19:36Speaker 5: that you see like that you and and illustrated. That's
- 19:39Speaker 5: about how big mind is.
- 19:40Speaker 2: Okay.
- 19:41Speaker 7: The worst part is I imagine somewhere on stage you
- 19:44Speaker 7: almost made it on this one.
- 19:45Speaker 5: Too, just like just like ducked in, like peeked over
- 19:49Speaker 5: your shoulder, maybe made a cameo there, like like.
- 19:53Speaker 4: Your face, your faces in the confetti exactly exactly honest?
- 19:58Speaker 6: Do you have that framed in your house?
- 19:59Speaker 2: And one if he doesn't, yeah, I don't. Actually, Okay,
- 20:02Speaker 2: that's stupid.
- 20:03Speaker 4: We have some we have some copies of it. Have
- 20:05Speaker 4: it framed. I used to have that magazine, all right
- 20:09Speaker 4: it is now? Uh yeah, I should have that frame. Yeah,
- 20:15Speaker 4: probably get that frame.
- 20:16Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll work that out during the break I got you,
- 20:20Speaker 2: all right.

- 24:17Speaker 5: ESPN dot Com put out their swing game for every
- 24:20Speaker 5: top twenty five college football team. We'll quickly go through
- 24:25Speaker 5: the top ten before we come back swing LSU, YEP, your.
- 24:28Speaker 2: Money and you don't even know it BYU coming in
- 24:31Speaker 2: at number ten.
- 24:32Speaker 5: It has October the third against West Virginia Alabama at
- 24:35Speaker 5: number nine. It's got Georgia on September the twenty seventh.
- 24:39Speaker 5: That game is going to be in Athens. For number
- 24:41Speaker 5: eight Oregon. It's got at Penn State on September the
- 24:44Speaker 5: twenty seventh. Notre Dame coming in at number seven, right
- 24:47Speaker 5: off the top at Miami on August the thirty first,
- 24:50Speaker 5: we'll skip LSU come back to them. Number five Ohio
- 24:53Speaker 5: State versus Texas another opener August the thirtieth for the
- 24:57Speaker 5: Georgia Bulldogs at number four at Tennessee on September thirteenth
- 25:02Speaker 5: for the Texas Longhorns at number three. It's got Red
- 25:05Speaker 5: River against Oklahoma at the Cotton Bowl on October the eleventh.
- 25:10Speaker 5: At number two Clemson, it's got well the LSU Tigers
- 25:13Speaker 5: on August the thirtieth, Penn State number one in the
- 25:16Speaker 5: preseason versus Oregon on September the twenty seventh. So if
- 25:19Speaker 5: number two Clemson has LSU, who does LSU have, Well, they.
- 25:24Speaker 4: Return the favor. Oh, come on, that's born.
- 25:26Speaker 5: Their swing game at Clemson August thirtieth. And here's what
- 25:30Speaker 5: the ride up says from Harry Lyles Junior. LSU is
- 25:33Speaker 5: oh to three in season openers under Brian Kelly. Well,
- 25:36Speaker 5: they're oh to five if you go back to coach
- 25:38Speaker 5: oh as well. If there was a year to change
- 25:41Speaker 5: that and set the table for the season, this is it.
- 25:44Speaker 5: Kay Klubnick is expected to be by many among the
- 25:48Speaker 5: best quarterbacks in coege football this season. With Clemson prime
- 25:51Speaker 5: for another run into the CFP, LSU looks just about
- 25:55Speaker 5: as talented and ready to make a national championship push
- 25:58Speaker 5: as any team in the country, But the Tigers need
- 26:01Speaker 5: to look closer to their final form from the jump
- 26:05Speaker 5: than they have in recent years. Do we agree that
- 26:10Speaker 5: Clemson is the swing game?
- 26:13Speaker 7: I actually I actually do, yeah, because I was I
- 26:16Speaker 7: was talking about this when y'all were out on Friday.
- 26:19Speaker 7: I actually like LSU schedule overall, like most of your
- 26:22Speaker 7: tough games are at home. My point was, if you
- 26:25Speaker 7: beat Clemson, you could go on the road and lose
- 26:28Speaker 7: to Ole Miss. You could go on the road and
- 26:30Speaker 7: lose to Alabama. If you take care of business at home,
- 26:33Speaker 7: you're in the College Football Playoff. But you lose to Clemson,
- 26:36Speaker 7: you can only lose one of those games, Like there's
- 26:39Speaker 7: so much more margin.
- 26:40Speaker 4: Verra, like, I get that it's week one. I think
- 26:41Speaker 4: that is a swing game.
- 26:44Speaker 2: Matthew, you seem to disagree.
- 26:46Speaker 4: I don't. I don't agree. Swing game to me, says
- 26:50Speaker 4: can make or break an entire season. So what's make
- 26:55Speaker 4: or break of the season as if we make the
- 26:57Speaker 4: playoffs or not. So if we do, something happens something
- 27:01Speaker 4: we don't want to happen in open wiehmes like we
- 27:04Speaker 4: still have a whole SEC schedule. I mean yeah, So
- 27:07Speaker 4: I'm looking at it and I'm looking at the swing games.
- 27:09Speaker 4: To me, and we talked about this at SEC media days,
- 27:15Speaker 4: is I think like right, smack da close to the middle,
- 27:20Speaker 4: South Carolina comes to town. Yep, that's to me a
- 27:23Speaker 4: game because I I'm high on South Carolina this year.
- 27:27Speaker 4: What what Leonora sellers? I think he has the potential
- 27:30Speaker 4: to do and be in the SEC, can be one
- 27:33Speaker 4: of the dominant figures in the SEC this year. I
- 27:36Speaker 4: think that's going to be the game that you know,
- 27:39Speaker 4: I think leading up to this point, LSU is undefeated
- 27:43Speaker 4: in the SEC, and I like Taylor. I agree that
- 27:46Speaker 4: I like the schedule this year. A lot of the
- 27:47Speaker 4: big guys are coming to us, including South Carolina. But
- 27:50Speaker 4: I think that's one of those games that could, yeah,
- 27:54Speaker 4: be a tipping point.
- 27:54Speaker 2: There, Alandra, I'll go, and then you give your aunt
- 28:00Speaker 2: there is you're drinking a tata.
- 28:03Speaker 6: This is the tataste, but actually, have you ever had
- 28:05Speaker 6: a rain?
- 28:06Speaker 7: Okay, I gotta tell you my ears perked up. I
- 28:10Speaker 7: didn't see what she was drinking. I was like, now
- 28:11Speaker 7: I gotta look, yeah, like I get why drinks.
- 28:15Speaker 4: The Okay, all right, you can you can like.
- 28:18Speaker 2: I was confused because usually when I look over there,
- 28:20Speaker 2: it's him drinking those as you were.
- 28:24Speaker 5: Yeah, I'd say, I didn't see yours. All right, So
- 28:26Speaker 5: you're going Clemson, You're going South Carolina. I'll go because
- 28:29Speaker 5: South Carolina probably would have been my pick. I'll go
- 28:32Speaker 5: Texas A and M. You got Texas A and M
- 28:36Speaker 5: after you have South Carolina and then Vanderbilt on the
- 28:40Speaker 5: road and before Alabama. I know it's Bie weeks in there,
- 28:43Speaker 5: but that series recently has been home team, home team dominant.
- 28:49Speaker 5: And like Taylor was saying earlier, if you you know,
- 28:52Speaker 5: you drop some of these games on the road, if
- 28:54Speaker 5: you drop two of them, if you win Clemson, you
- 28:57Speaker 5: know you still got an opportunity. I get that, but
- 28:59Speaker 5: you have to to in this year's schedule. You've got
- 29:02Speaker 5: Florida at home, South Carolina A, and m Arkansas all
- 29:07Speaker 5: at home in the SEC. You have to keep that
- 29:09Speaker 5: trend going. You have to be home team dominant in
- 29:13Speaker 5: this schedule. The home team has been dominant in this
- 29:15Speaker 5: series against Texas A and m as of late. That
- 29:19Speaker 5: feels like and also last year, like how that game played.
- 29:22Speaker 5: That was the swing game for you last year on
- 29:24Speaker 5: the road. You win that one and you were up.
- 29:26Speaker 5: You had all the momentum. The people that were in
- 29:29Speaker 5: the press box and some of our friends that work
- 29:31Speaker 5: with textags, they were like, all right, well, congrats, like
- 29:35Speaker 5: y'all got a dub Like that's that was the feel
- 29:37Speaker 5: of that.
- 29:38Speaker 2: It was like Ohnuss Myers might, hell he might win
- 29:40Speaker 2: the Heisman.
- 29:41Speaker 5: I mean there was people like that game felt so
- 29:44Speaker 5: one sided, and then A and M, to their credit,
- 29:46Speaker 5: they found a way and they dominated the second half.
- 29:49Speaker 5: So there's some juice to that game. I think it
- 29:51Speaker 5: being at home, it being after a road trip to Vanderbilt.
- 29:55Speaker 5: Who's look, they're not going away. They're going to be
- 30:00Speaker 5: just that little brother that just keeps poking you and
- 30:02Speaker 5: poking you and poking you. It's like, finally, like he's
- 30:06Speaker 5: going to get you off your marker a little bit,
- 30:08Speaker 5: and how do you respond? That's Diego Pavia. Yep, all right,
- 30:11Speaker 5: so that's not going to be a role to helmet
- 30:13Speaker 5: out there game. So I still think you win it,
- 30:15Speaker 5: but you gotta fight. And then this game is before Alabama,
- 30:18Speaker 5: so I think because of all those things, the A
- 30:19Speaker 5: and M is gonna be there.
- 30:20Speaker 4: And I know this is like we're just kind of
- 30:21Speaker 4: this isn't really like a debate, but we're just going
- 30:23Speaker 4: back to the article like you can lose Clemson and
- 30:26Speaker 4: still take care of business in the SEC. But well,
- 30:28Speaker 4: I said, South Carolina is because before that, you know,
- 30:32Speaker 4: Florida's going to be a tough a tough out, a
- 30:34Speaker 4: tough beat. But we haven't at home. Yeah, Ole miss
- 30:36Speaker 4: they're going to be down this year. We win that one,
- 30:38Speaker 4: so we're going to go into undefeated in the SEC
- 30:42Speaker 4: to the South Carolina game. But following, just like you said,
- 30:45Speaker 4: following that game, Vanderbilt A and M Alabama like three
- 30:49Speaker 4: in a row out there, there is a bye week
- 30:52Speaker 4: sandwich before the Alabama game. But if you lose the
- 30:55Speaker 4: South Carolina game, then you have then it's like, okay,
- 30:58Speaker 4: we have to win the new X three when we
- 31:00Speaker 4: have to win out in the SEC. But if you
- 31:04Speaker 4: win that one, it's like, all right, you have a
- 31:06Speaker 4: little bit of pressure off you. You can take one
- 31:09Speaker 4: at some point. Yeah, but if you have to get
- 31:12Speaker 4: the South Carolina.
- 31:12Speaker 5: Game, all right, Alandra, blank space Villa Real, which game.
- 31:18Speaker 2: Do you have?
- 31:19Speaker 5: It is a swing game for LSU, And you could, like,
- 31:21Speaker 5: if you want to pick one that we've already because
- 31:23Speaker 5: we made you want to picked that one, I probably
- 31:26Speaker 5: would have picked.
- 31:27Speaker 3: To be honest, well, I actually think you make a
- 31:29Speaker 3: really good point with the Texas A and M game,
- 31:31Speaker 3: and I so I do, like, obviously it's so important
- 31:37Speaker 3: to win the home opener because of all the stuff
- 31:40Speaker 3: that we've already said, like it you are over in
- 31:43Speaker 3: the last five years for the season opener, it is
- 31:47Speaker 3: a big game versus Clemson, and yes, that is a
- 31:51Speaker 3: very important game to win, but to me, the more
- 31:53Speaker 3: important ones are the SEC games every game after Clemson
- 31:58Speaker 3: up until maybe well, I don't really know too much
- 32:02Speaker 3: about Ole Miss going into the season, right because they
- 32:07Speaker 3: don't have a quarterback.
- 32:08Speaker 5: Rights coming in. He had a couple of drives against Georgia,
- 32:12Speaker 5: But no, we.
- 32:13Speaker 2: Don't really know. I don't know.
- 32:15Speaker 3: But like I, I think you make a very good
- 32:17Speaker 3: point with the Texas A and M one because it
- 32:20Speaker 3: is usually like whoever hosts that game wins.
- 32:23Speaker 6: Except for wasn't the seven overtime game in teger ctity?
- 32:28Speaker 2: I mean you go back to that. I think the
- 32:30Speaker 2: home teams won every game since they got started, because.
- 32:37Speaker 6: Yeah, and I honestly think that out of all these teams.
- 32:43Speaker 3: They're starting to probably become like our actual rival because
- 32:47Speaker 3: I know that we like hate Bama or whatever, but
- 32:50Speaker 3: they that was I don't like Alabama, but I never
- 32:53Speaker 3: had like a deep genuine hate for them, And I
- 32:55Speaker 3: feel like with Texas A and M it is back
- 32:58Speaker 3: and forth. But yes, and it but it is a
- 33:02Speaker 3: back and forth and it is like, uh, yesterday was
- 33:05Speaker 3: or last year was so brutal.
- 33:07Speaker 6: Yeah, that you kind of want to go out there
- 33:09Speaker 6: and win that game, and then you're right.
- 33:11Speaker 3: You come home from Vanderbilt, which I think if I
- 33:16Speaker 3: want to go different from y'all, that might be going
- 33:19Speaker 3: to be an annoying game.
- 33:20Speaker 5: Yeah, it's going to be an annoying mud like not
- 33:24Speaker 5: muddy like the actual field, but just the flow of
- 33:27Speaker 5: game is going to be kind of clunky, muddy like, just.
- 33:29Speaker 8: Like that.
- 33:31Speaker 4: Sandwiched in between the two. Like you're on the road
- 33:34Speaker 4: at Old Miss.
- 33:35Speaker 7: That's a dulk fight if you even if you beat
- 33:37Speaker 7: South Carolina at home, that's tough. Then Vandy then after
- 33:41Speaker 7: that an M Alabama. It is very easy to overlook
- 33:44Speaker 7: Vanderbilt on the schedule, very easy. I think that your
- 33:46Speaker 7: sandwiches in between probably your four toughest game and probably good.
- 33:51Speaker 5: Alabama went there. Alabama went there and got punched them out.
- 33:53Speaker 5: Last year, Texas got punched too. They just were still standing.
- 33:56Speaker 2: At the end.
- 33:57Speaker 6: We beat them, but we were at home.
- 33:59Speaker 3: So well Vanderbilt and I did yeah, I did the
- 34:03Speaker 3: little voodoo on him. But if I have anything to
- 34:06Speaker 3: do with it this season, we'll probably win. But I
- 34:10Speaker 3: think at Vanderbilt is a big one to mark on
- 34:14Speaker 3: your calendar. But I do like the point you made
- 34:17Speaker 3: with the Texas A and m one.
- 34:18Speaker 2: Yeah, there's gonna be man, there's gonna be some Uh.
- 34:20Speaker 6: I don't fully agree about South Carolina.
- 34:23Speaker 2: Because you don't think South Carolina is gonna be as
- 34:25Speaker 2: good as we think.
- 34:27Speaker 6: I don't know. I don't because like I don't. I
- 34:31Speaker 6: just think that we're going to be better than them,
- 34:33Speaker 6: and I think it will be.
- 34:34Speaker 5: I think the roster's back, like Lenoris is gonna have
- 34:37Speaker 5: to do some more. Cam Newton like he did last year,
- 34:40Speaker 5: like his his weapons, but and he gonna do that
- 34:43Speaker 5: now he did it, he's gonna do.
- 34:45Speaker 4: Yeah, I'll just watch, You'll just watch.
- 34:50Speaker 2: I believe you.
- 34:51Speaker 6: Yeah, No, I like I believe you, but like I
- 34:55Speaker 6: just I don't know.
- 34:58Speaker 3: Like last sear he probably had more weapons than he
- 35:02Speaker 3: willed this season, but I don't know if that's fully true.
- 35:04Speaker 6: Is that true or no? Norris, he didn't have an.
- 35:09Speaker 4: He didn't have a ton last year.
- 35:10Speaker 2: I had rocket Sandy rocket Sanders about it.
- 35:14Speaker 4: I agree LSU's better.
- 35:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I just.
- 35:18Speaker 4: If you get that game, then you can still lose
- 35:21Speaker 4: one after that with a with three game stretches like
- 35:24Speaker 4: three in a row.
- 35:25Speaker 6: Fe losable games after.
- 35:27Speaker 2: That, All right, let's do this.
- 35:28Speaker 5: Let's step away, take a break, and when we come back, like,
- 35:31Speaker 5: let's because Taylor kind of started to do it, let's
- 35:33Speaker 5: give that stretch whatever you think the most difficult stretch.
- 35:36Speaker 5: I always talk about it. Y'all heard me say it
- 35:38Speaker 5: a thousand times. There's always a three game stretch for
- 35:41Speaker 5: every SEC team unless you're Missouri. This year, that schedule
- 35:44Speaker 5: is just wild. There's always three games. I want to
- 35:48Speaker 5: hear from each of us, which three game stretch is
- 35:50Speaker 5: going to be the most difficult. We'll do that when
- 35:51Speaker 5: we come back here on OTV.
- 35:53Speaker 2: Off the bench right, go to Rouses dot com.
- 35:58Speaker 5: And once you go to Rouses Doe, go check out
- 36:01Speaker 5: their weekly ads and they've always got something going on.
- 36:05Speaker 5: So you go to the website, you click on it.
- 36:07Speaker 5: It's top right corner of the website. It's gonna pull
- 36:09Speaker 5: up everything. It's gonna pull up like the store also
- 36:12Speaker 5: that you've selected to be the closest to you. So
- 36:14Speaker 5: they've got some great stuff going on right now, and
- 36:17Speaker 5: they've got their ten for ten dollars sale. You buy one,
- 36:21Speaker 5: you can buy ten like they've got it going on
- 36:23Speaker 5: right now. So ten for ten dollars sale going on
- 36:26Speaker 5: right now at your local Rouses. Go to the website
- 36:29Speaker 5: to see which one is nearest you. Rouses dot com.
- 36:32Speaker 4: Jakmat Like, why are y'all sending me to a website
- 36:36Speaker 4: for a grocery store that's weird? Well, because there's deals there.
- 36:40Speaker 4: Go see they like. Rols'es is like amazing ever running
- 36:43Speaker 4: different specials, having coupons for you. Help it right now
- 36:47Speaker 4: because groceries are expensive. Let Rouses help be the local company.
- 36:50Speaker 4: Go to Ralse's market for any of your needs. Rouses,
- 36:53Speaker 4: Rouses dot com.
- 37:03Speaker 1: Tigers Turners, This is off the bench.
- 37:08Speaker 2: Knock cockock, knocking on the ball. As soon as again,
- 37:16Speaker 2: knock cockock knocking the ball.
- 37:18Speaker 8: Your legs keep shaking.
- 37:23Speaker 4: Why are her legs shaking? What are they squat squashed?
- 37:33Speaker 2: Look you gotta squat down, use the restroom.
- 37:36Speaker 6: Oh the legs are shaking.
- 37:37Speaker 5: Yeah, I get it, clearly, all right, l She used
- 37:43Speaker 5: three game stretch showing their schedule that is going to
- 37:46Speaker 5: be the most difficult and the one that's going to
- 37:53Speaker 5: maybe mean the most.
- 37:55Speaker 2: Gosh, I got to that. I want to choose from here.
- 37:57Speaker 3: I actually think it's the like what were were talking
- 38:00Speaker 3: about earlier, South Carolina Vandy at Texas or Texas A
- 38:03Speaker 3: and M.
- 38:04Speaker 6: Because well, I don't know, actually I.
- 38:07Speaker 2: Know we were talking.
- 38:12Speaker 5: You can South Carolina Vanderbilt, you can go South Carolina
- 38:16Speaker 5: Vanderbilt A and M.
- 38:17Speaker 2: You can go Vanderbilt A and M. Alabama. That's where
- 38:19Speaker 2: I'm going. That's going Alabama.
- 38:22Speaker 7: I know there's a bye weekend between, but I mean,
- 38:25Speaker 7: look ole miss dog fights, South Carolina dogfight. We just
- 38:28Speaker 7: talked about, like Vanderbilt's not going anywhere.
- 38:30Speaker 4: That's on the road.
- 38:31Speaker 7: You come home against A and M. That's a tough one,
- 38:34Speaker 7: and then you got to go back on the road
- 38:35Speaker 7: to Alabama. So two of those three are on the road.
- 38:38Speaker 7: I get that there's a bye weekend between, but I
- 38:40Speaker 7: think I think that's the answer for me because after that,
- 38:43Speaker 7: like you finish Arkansas, Western, Kentucky, Oklahoma. Yeah, I got
- 38:46Speaker 7: the I think if you can get past that three
- 38:48Speaker 7: game So for me, it's it's at Vandy, A and
- 38:51Speaker 7: M at Alabama.
- 38:53Speaker 4: Uh, my three game stretch to me kind of sticks
- 38:57Speaker 4: out very very strongly. Feel pretty good about this one,
- 39:02Speaker 4: and I alluded to it last segment. South Carolina, Vanderbilt,
- 39:07Speaker 4: Texas A, and M all in a row. No bye
- 39:09Speaker 4: weeks in between eny of these. And the reason why
- 39:13Speaker 4: is South Carolina, Vandy A, and m All have quarterbacks
- 39:18Speaker 4: that do things with their legs, not just in passing
- 39:23Speaker 4: situations where they can scramble, but designed runs, and that's
- 39:27Speaker 4: part of the game. Is an actual dual threat quarterback.
- 39:31Speaker 4: We play Kate club Nick at the beginning of the year,
- 39:33Speaker 4: We're gonna play John Mattier at the end of the year.
- 39:35Speaker 4: But those guys want to throw in the pocket every
- 39:38Speaker 4: now and then, maybe do a quarterback draw. But those
- 39:41Speaker 4: three teams are going to actively present problems that are
- 39:46Speaker 4: designed to use quarterback the legs of the quarterback. So
- 39:49Speaker 4: those three weeks in a row are going to be
- 39:51Speaker 4: a challenge defensively, and by that point our new defensive
- 39:56Speaker 4: line everybody better be meshed and jailing. Pretty good for me,
- 40:00Speaker 4: there's no bie weeks there. That is the hardest stretch.
- 40:03Speaker 5: I think I actually agree with you. That's a great
- 40:06Speaker 5: point that you make about the dual threat quarterback. It's
- 40:08Speaker 5: been something it's been a bugaboo for you. You've done
- 40:11Speaker 5: much better against pocket passers. I mean the A and
- 40:14Speaker 5: M game that we're talking about. What change, Well, they
- 40:16Speaker 5: change quarterbacks.
- 40:17Speaker 2: I'll agree with you. I'll go South Carolina Vanderbilt, Texas
- 40:21Speaker 2: A and M. Final answer.
- 40:23Speaker 3: Yeah, that was my first answer, and I think it's
- 40:25Speaker 3: gonna end up being my final So because I was gonna,
- 40:27Speaker 3: I was thinking, like what about Ole Miss at ole Miss?
- 40:30Speaker 6: Before that? But there's a lot more question marks over Ole.
- 40:34Speaker 3: Miss as a team than there is for South Carolina,
- 40:36Speaker 3: Vandy and Texas A and M. Like I do have
- 40:39Speaker 3: some questions about Marcel Reid, yeah, just because like the
- 40:43Speaker 3: only time he looked elite was against LSU, So I
- 40:47Speaker 3: there are questions about him, But I have more questions
- 40:49Speaker 3: about Simmons than I do.
- 40:52Speaker 5: Read Ole Miss lost a ton from Yeah, their defense, Yeah,
- 40:56Speaker 5: their front seven was maybe the best they've had in
- 40:58Speaker 5: school history. And those guys are now Sunday players, So
- 41:02Speaker 5: that like that's something that Old Miss because of how
- 41:07Speaker 5: they've built their roster. They can't just replace overnight, Like
- 41:10Speaker 5: they don't have a five star defensive tackle that's weighted
- 41:12Speaker 5: as he was a freshman. Now he's gonna be a sophomore.
- 41:15Speaker 5: Like when you go portal hunting like they do. Like
- 41:17Speaker 5: you don't have that waiting in the wings, so it's
- 41:19Speaker 5: gonna be some growing pains. And Pete Golding is a
- 41:21Speaker 5: really good defensive coordinator, but he's not gonna have as
- 41:24Speaker 5: much to work with. So like for that reason, not
- 41:26Speaker 5: to say Old miss on the road or at home
- 41:28Speaker 5: beat LSU, But yeah, we don't know about them. I
- 41:32Speaker 5: feel like I know more about South Carolina, Vanderbilt and
- 41:34Speaker 5: A and M.
- 41:35Speaker 7: It's funny like South Carolina defense I was looking at
- 41:37Speaker 7: the other day. They're replacing a lot too. They do,
- 41:40Speaker 7: but they at least back but and worry player of
- 41:47Speaker 7: the year last year, he was the player of the
- 41:50Speaker 7: year in the league. I want to see what Stewart
- 41:52Speaker 7: does without him on the other right, So that's my thing.
- 41:54Speaker 5: But they do have some homegrown, like recruited at a
- 41:57Speaker 5: high score guys, four star guys have been waiting, and
- 42:00Speaker 5: so I like that foundation better than I like Old Missus.
- 42:03Speaker 2: So all right, Taylor, he said.
- 42:06Speaker 7: Oh, I'm going I'm going Vandy A and M Alabama
- 42:09Speaker 7: just because two of the three year on the.
- 42:10Speaker 4: Red okay, and then here on July twenty fourth, is
- 42:15Speaker 4: that what it is the year of our lord.
- 42:18Speaker 5: And three of us said, it's South Carolina at Vandy,
- 42:21Speaker 5: Texas A and M. So there's always there's always a
- 42:24Speaker 5: three game stretch and we'll see what ends up being
- 42:26Speaker 5: for your LSU Tigers. All right, we'll close out our
- 42:29Speaker 5: number one when we come back here on OTB.
- 42:33Speaker 2: Off the bench, he go to Russell Polls dot com.
- 42:38Speaker 5: We are so fired up to have Russell Pool Company

- 44:06Speaker 5: Flinn of how crazy truly Atlanta was with Beyonce there
- 44:11Speaker 5: for multiple days, SEC media days, the All Star Game
- 44:15Speaker 5: and w W E was there, Wait, the w W
- 44:18Speaker 5: was there? It was when we first got there.
- 44:22Speaker 4: It was it was wild because we walk into the
- 44:26Speaker 4: lobby and I had no idea all these things were happening.
- 44:32Speaker 4: And we walk in and next to check in there's
- 44:34Speaker 4: a red carpet with the ropes and at the end
- 44:36Speaker 4: of it, Beyonce is there.
- 44:39Speaker 2: The actual Beyonce.
- 44:41Speaker 4: It looked like it it was a cardboard cut out
- 44:44Speaker 4: and I was like, I was like Hey, Jake, Hey,
- 44:46Speaker 4: that's kind of weird, right, just a cardboard cut out
- 44:50Speaker 4: Beyonce on a red.
- 44:51Speaker 6: Carbet she's from Atlanta, so she's from Houston.
- 44:55Speaker 2: She's from Houston. Never run.
- 44:56Speaker 4: Yeah, this is real strange. And then I started seeing
- 45:00Speaker 4: a lot of people with like cowboy carter hat.
- 45:03Speaker 5: I mean, the most cowboy hats and boots you've ever seen.
- 45:07Speaker 5: And I've been to a lot of rodeos that's cultural
- 45:09Speaker 5: probably a lot of them.
- 45:11Speaker 2: There was so many cowboy hats and cowboy boots.
- 45:13Speaker 4: There was there was in the hotel. There was like
- 45:15Speaker 4: a pop up cowboy like custom Cowboy hat boutique.
- 45:21Speaker 6: Custom Cowgirl hat boutique.
- 45:23Speaker 5: Yeah, we're gonna get well, we were going to go
- 45:27Speaker 5: get a custom cowboy hat, but they were like, oh sorry,
- 45:29Speaker 5: we'd have to sew two together to be able to
- 45:31Speaker 5: fit y'all's head.
- 45:32Speaker 2: We're like, okay, well we'll pass.
- 45:34Speaker 4: These actually aren't for men at all.
