House Democrats Call for Special Counsel in Epstein Investigation (10/27/26) · Beyond The Horizon

• 0:00
Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the
• 0:03
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. So the House Democrats on the Judiciary Committee
• 0:09
Speaker 1: are coming out swinging. And they're finally demanding something that
• 0:13
Speaker 1: I've been yelling about for years. And that is a
• 0:16
Speaker 1: special counsel to investigate Jeffrey Epstein. Now of course they're
• 0:22
Speaker 1: only calling for a special counsel to investigate Trump's ties
• 0:25
Speaker 1: to Jeffrey Epstein. But as we all know, If you
• 0:29
Speaker 1: appoint a special counsel, that shit goes off the rails
• 0:32
Speaker 1: real quick. And they're going to investigate everything. It doesn't
• 0:36
Speaker 1: matter what it has to do with. So I'm all
• 0:40
Speaker 1: for a special counsel, but it has to be the
• 0:42
Speaker 1: right one. Not one of these politically radioactive idiots. I'm
• 0:47
Speaker 1: talking about going to get somebody like, I don't know,
• 0:50
Speaker 1: Alan Jackson, Tenny Garagos, Mark Agnefilo, and paying them a
• 0:55
Speaker 1: king's ransom. You get what you pay for in life, right?
• 1:00
Speaker 1: So if you want a special counsel that's going to
• 1:02
Speaker 1: handle business and do the right thing, you're going to
• 1:05
Speaker 1: have to pay for it. I don't want no Jack Smith.
• 1:08
Speaker 1: I don't want, you know, no Robert Mueller. I want
• 1:11
Speaker 1: somebody that is not political. Somebody that's going to come
• 1:15
Speaker 1: in here, look at every single facet of it, and
• 1:18
Speaker 1: call a spade a spade. Because the time for bullshitting
• 1:22
Speaker 1: is long over. Now's the time for action. And look,
• 1:26
Speaker 1: these Democrats are talking a big game. But I hope
• 1:30
Speaker 1: they understand that they're going to be held to all
• 1:33
Speaker 1: of this. If you're making promises right now during the
• 1:36
Speaker 1: midterms about Jeffrey Epstein, let me tell you, you're going
• 1:41
Speaker 1: to be reminded of those promises on a regular basis.
• 1:45
Speaker 1: So if you're using this as part of your campaign strategy,
• 1:48
Speaker 1: understand that this issue doesn't go away when the election ends.
• 1:53
Speaker 1: And if these Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee are
• 1:56
Speaker 1: serious about a special counsel, I fully support it. But
• 2:01
Speaker 1: that said, why don't we read this little clip here
• 2:03
Speaker 1: from Politico and then jump into the report itself? Because
• 2:07
Speaker 1: I think that's important to get on the books, right?
• 2:10
Speaker 1: Let's see what the House Judiciary Committee is saying about
• 2:13
Speaker 1: President Trump. And I think the best way to do that, obviously,
• 2:16
Speaker 1: is to give you the full report for yourself without
• 2:19
Speaker 1: any commentary from me. So that's what we'll do. We'll
• 2:22
Speaker 1: read through the report like usual, and we'll see where
• 2:25
Speaker 1: things stand. But one thing's clear. This cover-up of the
• 2:30
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein scandal is not going away. Headline, House Judiciary
• 2:36
Speaker 1: Democrats want a special counsel to investigate Trump's ties to Epstein.
• 2:41
Speaker 1: This article, or snippet of an article, was authored by
• 2:44
Speaker 1: Chris Marquette. House Democrats are making increasingly clear they have
• 2:49
Speaker 1: no plans to abandon their line of inquiry into whether
• 2:52
Speaker 1: President Donald Trump was involved in Jeffrey Epstein's sex trafficking ring,
• 2:56
Speaker 1: should they retake the majority in the midterms. A new
• 3:00
Speaker 1: report from the minority staff for the House Judiciary Committee
• 3:03
Speaker 1: released Monday calls for a special counsel to investigate Trump's
• 3:07
Speaker 1: ties to the late convicted sex offender, alleging he was
• 3:10
Speaker 1: an active participant in Jeffrey Epstein's sexual abuse of young
• 3:14
Speaker 1: women during the mid to late 1990s. Now, look, we
• 3:18
Speaker 1: need real evidence of that, right? That is a big allegation.
• 3:25
Speaker 1: And besides Jane Doe 4 and Katie, there has been
• 3:29
Speaker 1: no allegations about Donald Trump partaking. Now, that doesn't mean
• 3:34
Speaker 1: he didn't, but we have to be on point and
• 3:37
Speaker 1: we have to make sure that all of our ducks
• 3:38
Speaker 1: are in a row and that all of the evidence
• 3:40
Speaker 1: is there. You have to remember who you're dealing with here.
• 3:44
Speaker 1: You're not dealing with some, you know, Two-bit nobody, you're
• 3:48
Speaker 1: dealing with Donald Trump. One of the most politically savvy
• 3:51
Speaker 1: dudes we ever ran into. And I know people don't
• 3:53
Speaker 1: want to hear it, but it's true. For this man
• 3:56
Speaker 1: to be elected twice, you have to be politically savvy
• 4:00
Speaker 1: to do that. Or it has to be an act
• 4:02
Speaker 1: of God. And we know that didn't happen. Donald Trump
• 4:05
Speaker 1: is the ultimate salesman. The dude will package some shit
• 4:10
Speaker 1: and sell it to you as gold. And unfortunately, there's
• 4:13
Speaker 1: a lot of people that buy into it. So based
• 4:15
Speaker 1: on the reports about Jane Doe 4 and what Katie
• 4:18
Speaker 1: Johnson said, I think that Donald Trump should be looked at.
• 4:22
Speaker 1: And if there's any evidence that he was partaking in
• 4:25
Speaker 1: the abuse, then he, like anyone else, should be prosecuted.
• 4:30
Speaker 1: But I don't want anybody getting ahead of their skis here.
• 4:33
Speaker 1: And I think that when it comes down to it,
• 4:35
Speaker 1: what we have evidence of, real evidence of, is a cover-up.
• 4:40
Speaker 1: And that's why I continue to call for the special
• 4:41
Speaker 1: counsel to to investigate the cover-up. And if this is
• 4:44
Speaker 1: the doorway in, then I'm here for it. If they're
• 4:47
Speaker 1: going to say, okay, we're investigating Trump, and then they
• 4:50
Speaker 1: bring a special counsel on, they have to understand that
• 4:53
Speaker 1: that special counsel is going to go after everybody. Bill
• 4:57
Speaker 1: Richardson's going to be looked into, George Mitchell, the Clintons,
• 5:04
Speaker 1: Reid Hoffman, everybody. It's not going to be a one-way street.
• 5:09
Speaker 1: And I hope everybody is prepared to to hold everybody
• 5:12
Speaker 1: that's found accountable, accountable. While Congress does not have the
• 5:18
Speaker 1: power to appoint a special counsel, the report also makes
• 5:21
Speaker 1: the case for increased federal support to assist with state
• 5:24
Speaker 1: and foreign prosecutions of Epstein's co-conspirators, along with further congressional
• 5:29
Speaker 1: action to uncover Epstein's expansive sex trafficking scheme. Both actions
• 5:34
Speaker 1: lawmakers could undertake through legislation, so a special counsel has
• 5:38
Speaker 1: to be appointed by the DOJ, right? And this DOJ
• 5:41
Speaker 1: is not going to do it. But this DOJ is
• 5:44
Speaker 1: not going to be in power forever. The DOJ is
• 5:47
Speaker 1: made up of people. And those people come and go.
• 5:50
Speaker 1: And if the Democrats happen to win, and they take
• 5:54
Speaker 1: the presidency back in 2028, all bets might be off.
• 5:58
Speaker 1: Then again, that's a long time from now. And we
• 6:01
Speaker 1: can't really, you know, forecast much politically that far in
• 6:04
Speaker 1: the future. Shit changes quick. But I would think that
• 6:08
Speaker 1: there would be a special counsel that would be appointed.
• 6:11
Speaker 1: After all the talk, all the bullshit, all the promises,
• 6:14
Speaker 1: that's what needs to happen. So I'm happy to see
• 6:16
Speaker 1: this rhetoric. And I know a lot of people will think, oh,
• 6:19
Speaker 1: this is politically motivated, blah, blah, blah. Well, so is
• 6:21
Speaker 1: the cover-up, okay? And when you're in a street fight,
• 6:24
Speaker 1: sometimes you gotta fight dirty. The women who survived Epstein
• 6:29
Speaker 1: deserve to be heard. Congress must have the complete files
• 6:32
Speaker 1: required by law, and an independent special counsel must investigate
• 6:36
  Speaker 1: Epstein's co-conspirators and DOJ's cover-up, and ensure that state and
• 6:40
Speaker 1: foreign prosecutors have the evidence they need to pursue justice.
• 6:44
Speaker 1: Representative Jamie Raskin of Maryland, the panel's top Democrat, said
• 6:49
Speaker 1: in a statement, and Jamie Raskin has been at the
• 6:52
Speaker 1: forefront of this, talking a whole bunch of shit. So
• 6:56
Speaker 1: if and when the House gets flipped, I expect Jamie
• 6:58
Speaker 1: Raskin to be at the forefront, demanding transparency, and coming
• 7:04
Speaker 1: up with all kinds of legislative ways to do that.
• 7:07
Speaker 1: Because it's not just getting elected on the back of
• 7:10
Speaker 1: this story. It's actually following through. So I hope that
• 7:14
Speaker 1: they understand that. Because if not, they're going to be
• 7:17
Speaker 1: stepping into some shit at their own peril. Look what's
• 7:20
Speaker 1: happening to Donald Trump right now. And if you think
• 7:23
Speaker 1: people are just going to ignore the Democrats, ignoring everything
• 7:27
Speaker 1: they've said, over the past, what, two years almost now?
• 7:31
Speaker 1: You're crazy. They've built up a whole lot of expectations,
• 7:36
Speaker 1: and they better live up to it. Trump has denied
• 7:40
Speaker 1: any wrongdoing in relation to Epstein's actions and has repeatedly
• 7:43
Speaker 1: said he and Epstein had a falling out years ago
• 7:46
Speaker 1: and that he banned Epstein from Mar-a-Lago for being a creep.
• 7:50
Speaker 1: Does anyone buy that? I mean, come on, really? That's
• 7:54
Speaker 1: why you banned him? Sure, Donald, sure. Next week it'll
• 7:58
Speaker 1: be a different story. But Democrats think the House Republican-led
• 8:03
Speaker 1: Epstein investigation has allowed accusations against Trump to go unchecked.
• 8:07
Speaker 1: They also want to put more pressure on the Justice
• 8:09
Speaker 1: Department to account for the agency's slow walking and haphazard
• 8:13
Speaker 1: release of all the Epstein files, despite the law Congress
• 8:16
Speaker 1: passed last year compelling all materials to be made available.
• 8:20
Speaker 1: I mean, they've just done whatever they've wanted to do.
• 8:24
Speaker 1: They don't give a fuck about the law. That's for
• 8:26
Speaker 1: me and you, not them. They write the laws. They
• 8:29
Speaker 1: don't have to follow them. And then they have the
• 8:33
Speaker 1: audacity to get out there and talk about how this
• 8:35
Speaker 1: is a law enforcement... administration, and shut up. God, just
• 8:39
Speaker 1: shut up already. Their new report titled The Case Against
• 8:44
Speaker 1: Donald Trump Emerging in the Epstein Files and DOJ's Desperate
• 8:49
Speaker 1: Efforts to Cover It Up lists five women who have
• 8:51
Speaker 1: accused Trump of raping or sexually assaulting them in the
• 8:54
Speaker 1: company of Epstein. Every single one of those claims needs
• 8:58
Speaker 1: to be looked at and looked at hard. And it
• 9:01
Speaker 1: doesn't matter if it's Donald Trump, the Pope, or God himself.
• 9:05
Speaker 1: I don't care. If those allegations are made, they need
• 9:08
Speaker 1: to be investigated. And if they were investigated, show us
• 9:11
Speaker 1: the work. Who was involved? Who wrote the memos? Where
• 9:14
Speaker 1: did they come from? What agents were involved? What did
• 9:17
Speaker 1: they think? We don't have any of that. But yet
• 9:22
Speaker 1: they want us to believe them? They want us to just,
• 9:24
Speaker 1: you know, go with the program and say, yeah, you
• 9:26
Speaker 1: know what, it's a big hoax. It's pathetic. It truly is.
• 9:30
Speaker 1: Lauren Biss, a White House spokesperson, said in a statement
• 9:33
Speaker 1: that Trump has been totally exonerated. on anything related to Epstein,
• 9:37
Speaker 1: adding that the president has done more for Epstein's victims
• 9:40
Speaker 1: than anyone before him by releasing thousands of pages of documents,
• 9:44
Speaker 1: cooperating with the House Oversight Committee's subpoena request, signing the
• 9:49
Speaker 1: Epstein Files Transparency Act, and calling for more investigations into
• 9:54
Speaker 1: Epstein's Democrat friends. Well, I won't beat that horse for
• 9:58
Speaker 1: too long, considering we talk about it all the time,
• 10:01
Speaker 1: but it's bullshit. Absolute bullshit. Donald Trump didn't do more
• 10:05
Speaker 1: for the survivors than anybody else. He's done less. And
• 10:08
Speaker 1: besides Epstein himself and Ghislaine Maxwell and the people that participated,
• 10:13
Speaker 1: his bullshit is the most harmful. A spokesperson for House
• 10:19
Speaker 1: Judiciary Republicans did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Well,
• 10:23
Speaker 1: that doesn't shock me. What are they going to say?
• 10:26
Speaker 1: I mean, besides, well, it's a big old hoax. Short
• 10:30
Speaker 1: of that, they have nothing to say. Nothing worthwhile anyway.
• 10:33
Speaker 1: But for me, the most important message out of all
• 10:36
Speaker 1: of this is that people that are in a powerful
• 10:38
Speaker 1: position are finally talking about a special counsel. Because as
• 10:42
Speaker 1: far as I'm concerned, if you want to get to
• 10:44
Speaker 1: the bottom of this, it's the only way. So I
• 10:47
Speaker 1: support all calls for a special counsel. And as far
• 10:51
Speaker 1: as this report goes, the 50 page report, we're going
• 10:54
Speaker 1: to dive into that as well. But for this one,
• 10:56
Speaker 1: I think we're going to wrap up right here and
• 10:58
Speaker 1: we'll keep the conversation going when we dive into that report.
• 11:03
Speaker 1: All the information that goes with this episode can be
• 11:06
Speaker 1: found in the description box.
