Today we're doing it again with some new phrases. Luna: Oh, good. I remember 'Saya mahu ayam' from before. Lucas: Exactly. Let's start with that. Saya mahu ayam. Luna: Saya mahu ayam. I want chicken. Lucas: Yes. Now, when you're at the market, you might want to say the chicken is fresh. Ayam ini segar. Luna: Ayam ini segar. This chicken is fresh. Lucas: Right. Segar means fresh. So if you see nice chicken, you can say Ayam ini segar. Luna: Ayam ini segar. I love that. Can I ask how much it costs? Lucas: Of course. Berapa harga ayam? How much is the chicken? Luna: Berapa harga ayam? How much is the chicken? Lucas: Perfect. Now, sometimes you might want half a chicken. Saya mahu ayam separuh. Luna: Saya mahu ayam separuh. I want half a chicken. Lucas: Separuh means half. So if you don't need a whole chicken, you say that. Luna: Got it. And if it's too expensive, I can say Ayam ini mahal. Lucas: Yes! Ayam ini mahal. This chicken is expensive. Good memory from our cheap and expensive episode. Luna: So let's practice. I'm at the market. Saya mahu ayam. Lucas: Good. The seller shows you the chicken. You say Ayam ini segar. Luna: Ayam ini segar. Then I ask Berapa harga ayam? Lucas: Exactly. He says a price. You think it's too much. You say Ayam ini mahal. Saya mahu ayam separuh. Luna: Ayam ini mahal. Saya mahu ayam separuh. Nice! Lucas: Let's do a quick scene. I'm the seller. You're the customer. Luna: Okay. Saya mahu ayam. Lucas: Here you go. Ayam ini segar. Luna: Berapa harga ayam? Lucas: Twenty ringgit. Luna: Ayam ini mahal. Saya mahu ayam separuh. Lucas: There you go. You did it. Now let's say the phrases again: Saya mahu ayam. Luna: Saya mahu ayam. Lucas: Ayam ini segar. Luna: Ayam ini segar. Lucas: Berapa harga ayam? Luna: Berapa harga ayam? Lucas: Saya mahu ayam separuh. Luna: Saya mahu ayam separuh. Lucas: Ayam ini mahal.
