- 2:37Sunny mornings send you. In local news, Massachusetts
- 2:44is projected to generate nearly $3 billion from
- 2:48its surtax on household income exceeding $1 million.
- 2:53This estimate, shared by state budget official
- 2:56Matthew Gorskowicz, is more than double previous
- 2:59forecasts. The Department of Revenue reported
- 3:03collections of nearly $2 .6 billion from the
- 3:07surtax between July 1, 2024 and April 30, 2025.
- 3:13With May and June numbers expected to boost this
- 3:16total, Gorskowicz anticipates fiscal 2025 collections
- 3:20could reach $3 billion. Revenue from the surtax
- 3:26is constitutionally earmarked for education and
- 3:29transportation, allowing for additional spending
- 3:31outside the traditional budget process. Now on
- 3:40to sports. In an exhilarating Game 4 of the Stanley
- 3:44Cup Final, The Edmonton Oilers rallied from a
- 3:47three -goal deficit to secure a thrilling 5 -4
- 3:51overtime victory against the Florida Panthers.
- 3:55With just 19 seconds left in regulation, Sam
- 3:58Reinhart tied the game, but Leon Dreisaitl's
- 4:01overtime goal at 11 -18 evened the series at
- 4:05two wins each. This marked Dreisaitl's fourth
- 4:09overtime goal of the postseason, setting a new
- 4:11NHL record. Calvin Pickard, stepping in for Stuart
- 4:17Skinner, made 23 saves, helping the Oilers become
- 4:21only the seventh team in history to overcome
- 4:24such a deficit in the Stanley Cup final. In local
- 4:28sports. Tonight at Fenway, the Sox face the Yankees
- 4:33in game one of a three -game series. Carrot Crochet
- 4:37takes the mound for Boston, sporting a 2 .35.

- 5:03A recent review published in The Lancet Hematology
- 5:07reports that iron deficiency affects one in three
- 5:10women. making it the most common nutrient deficiency
- 5:13globally. Iron is crucial for producing hemoglobin,
- 5:18supporting energy, brain development, and a healthy
- 5:21immune system. Many people do not consume enough
- 5:25iron -rich foods, and even when they do, absorption
- 5:28can vary. Common signs of deficiency include

- 5:37incorporating more iron -rich foods into your
- 5:39diet. and consult your doctor if you experience
- 5:42unusual fatigue or symptoms. In business news,
- 5:48Tesla's Robotaxi service is set to begin a trial

- 6:09as Tesla seeks to prevent public access to trial
- 6:12records. With Elon Musk's previous challenges
- 6:16in achieving full self -driving capabilities,
- 6:19safety remains a significant issue. The trial
- 6:23will start with 10 vehicles, gradually expanding
- 6:26to thousands if deemed smoothly. Meanwhile, competitors

- 7:44Tesla's Robotaxi service is set to begin a trial
- 7:47period in Austin, Texas, by the end of the month,
- 7:51utilizing level 2 autonomous driving, which still
- 7:55requires human supervision. The service will
- 7:58operate a fleet of Tesla Model Ys geofenced to
- 8:02a limited downtown area. Concerns arising as
- 8:06Tesla seeks to prevent public access to trial
- 8:08records. With Elon Musk's previous challenges
- 8:12in achieving full self -driving capabilities,
- 8:15safety remains a significant issue. The trial
- 8:20will start with 10 vehicles, gradually expanding
- 8:22to thousands if deemed smoothly. Meanwhile, competitors
- 8:27like Waymo and Amazon's Zoox are already testing

- 8:495 % to $2 .12. And in entertainment news. A significant
- 8:58battle is unfolding as Disney and Universal have
- 9:02sued Midjourney, an emerging artificial intelligence
- 9:05startup, for copyright infringement. This marks
- 9:10the first major lawsuit of its kind targeting
- 9:12the use of studios' intellectual property to
- 9:15train AI models. The lawsuit claims Midjourney
- 9:19is exploiting Disney's and Universal's creative
- 9:22work through unauthorized image generation. This
- 9:27moment reflects heightened tensions between legacy
- 9:30media and AI firms as Hollywood seeks compensation
- 9:33in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. Experts
- 9:38suggest this action could redefine expectations
- 9:40for non -AI platforms and the future of content
- 9:44creation in the entertainment industry. Well,
- 9:48alrighty folks, it's time for the quote of the
- 9:51day. And today... Our quote comes from the American
