Transcript
- 0:04Speaker 1: Hither. Welcome back to Van v Ferrah. My name is
- 0:06Speaker 1: Chris Fair. We're talking Nine to Day Fiance, Season twelve,
- 0:09Speaker 1: Episode nine. Actions speak louder than words. So show me,
- 0:15Speaker 1: don't tell me, show me, don't speak about it, be
- 0:21Speaker 1: about it all right. I hope you enjoyed part one.
- 0:25Speaker 1: We are moving along, so Katie and Josh. Now, I
- 0:30Speaker 1: think Katie and Josh have broken the Internet. People are
- 0:34Speaker 1: just dumbfounded, and it makes sense. I don't know did
- 0:41Speaker 1: Katie know that she was going to grab the internet
- 0:44Speaker 1: by this? And is she okay with it? She's been
- 0:48Speaker 1: posting a lot with her friends. But if you can
- 0:50Speaker 1: you follow both of them, you can tell that he's there.
- 0:52Speaker 1: He's in Portland. So I think that they are just
- 0:55Speaker 1: doing their due diligence, but that they're together. Now. Of course,
- 1:00Speaker 1: we have seen her celebrate her birthday the way that
- 1:03Speaker 1: she likes to celebrate her birthday, which is full of
- 1:06Speaker 1: booze and full of kisses, full of people's tongues in
- 1:11Speaker 1: her mouth. And some of them were situations where they
- 1:16Speaker 1: were like no thanks, and some of them were people
- 1:18Speaker 1: like don't kiss me, Katie. We were like, if you
- 1:21Speaker 1: weren't just on camera, right now, And I don't know.
- 1:25Speaker 1: I think that if the cameras weren't here, some of
- 1:27Speaker 1: these people would have absolutely kissed her, and even if
- 1:30Speaker 1: Josh was there. And I can't quite tell if Josh
- 1:34Speaker 1: didn't like it or not. We're supposed to believe he
- 1:36Speaker 1: didn't like it. But if you didn't like it as
- 1:45Speaker 1: much as we think you shouldn't like it, you wouldn't
- 1:49Speaker 1: be there the next day, right Just think about it.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Just think about you. Just think about you in that position.
- 1:59Speaker 1: If you who were with someone who on their birthday
- 2:03Speaker 1: did this thing that they're not supposed to do, which
- 2:06Speaker 1: is horrible that they do it to you. If this
- 2:08Speaker 1: is that bad for you, which is get drunk and
- 2:11Speaker 1: embarrassed and cuckled you by making out and forcefully anyone
- 2:16Speaker 1: they can in the room, including people sheet this person
- 2:19Speaker 1: has cheated on you with, and you just moved there
- 2:24Speaker 1: for this person. If, first of all, if the genders
- 2:30Speaker 1: were reversed, I don't even know what I would do
- 2:33Speaker 1: with myself. I can't even stand Debbie and Meto, who
- 2:37Speaker 1: we don't have this episode, which is tragic, tragic. That's
- 2:42Speaker 1: why we had so much Pala and Thomas because they
- 2:45Speaker 1: were like, oh shit, you know, in't need Debbie and
- 2:47Speaker 1: meta we got to fill in time. But I mean,
- 2:49Speaker 1: like in the embarrassment, I feel for Debbie, Like it
- 2:52Speaker 1: would be crazier, you know, if Josh was a female,
- 2:55Speaker 1: but only because you know, there's just I don't even
- 2:57Speaker 1: know what I would do, but Josh, you know, I
- 3:00Speaker 1: I feel like it would make sense if Josh was
- 3:02Speaker 1: like to camera and a confessional, just a slight wink
- 3:06Speaker 1: and was like, I don't mind it, No, Katie, it's
- 3:11Speaker 1: still bad. Don't do it. You know, it's fine. But
- 3:19Speaker 1: she is hungover. She says she's unwell. She says her
- 3:22Speaker 1: stomach hates her, and he says last night was super embarrassing,
- 3:27Speaker 1: and she's like, was it I don't know. Here's my
- 3:30Speaker 1: present from Ryan? Oh Ryan, Oh, oh, oh oh oh.
- 3:38Speaker 1: She just keeps blinking, blinking a lot, processing and blinking
- 3:42Speaker 1: a lot, even though she says later she doesn't remember
- 3:45Speaker 1: what happened, which we have heard before, and actions speak
- 3:50Speaker 1: louder than words. Her actions are make out with someone.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Her words are I hope I don't, but even I
- 4:01Speaker 1: hope I don't is and I'm not going to isn't.
- 4:05Speaker 1: I'm gonna make sure I don't put myself in that
- 4:07Speaker 1: situation anyway. She says she is just dying and she's
- 4:17Speaker 1: just cringing over last night and doesn't remember again what
- 4:20Speaker 1: she did. And he's like, let me tell you what
- 4:22Speaker 1: you did. You were trying to make out with anything
- 4:25Speaker 1: that moves except me except me. I guess I don't move.
- 4:30Speaker 1: I wouldn't make out of me. That's why it's so
- 4:33Speaker 1: interesting to me. Why doesn't he at once just be like,
- 4:37Speaker 1: how about me? You can make out? How about just listen?
- 4:40Speaker 1: Do you just need to go into the bathroom with
- 4:42Speaker 1: me and just get it in? Fine, if you're drunk
- 4:45Speaker 1: on your birthday and you get Hansy Wansay's and you
- 4:48Speaker 1: want just a little company, let's just go to the bathroom,
- 4:52Speaker 1: take off her MIC's or leyla mon, you freak, and like,
- 4:56Speaker 1: get it in and you'll feel so satisfied, hopefully taking
- 5:01Speaker 1: care of in a way because she feels insecure and
- 5:04Speaker 1: you're like, Chris, don't enable her. But I'm like, well,
- 5:07Speaker 1: this is a couple that's going to transcend this obvious problem.
- 5:11Speaker 1: And she's spoken that she does this because she's insecure
- 5:17Speaker 1: in an insecure place, and then she either gets too
- 5:20Speaker 1: happy or too sad, so it's either one of those
- 5:23Speaker 1: and or she just really wants affection. It makes her
- 5:28Speaker 1: feel good. So what I'm saying is, why doesn't he
- 5:32Speaker 1: just go take care of that for her? Then when
- 5:36Speaker 1: she wants it out and about and then all these
- 5:40Speaker 1: people could see like her partner is stepping up and
- 5:43Speaker 1: taking care and sex sexually satisfying her or romantically satisfying
- 5:50Speaker 1: her or physically affectionately satisfying her. You know, she likes
- 6:02Speaker 1: a sensory thing, and this is one of her sensory things.
- 6:04Speaker 1: You know, then like, you know, put up her shut up.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Actions speak louder than words, Josh, get to make it out.
- 6:13Speaker 1: She wants to make out with you for four minutes
- 6:15Speaker 1: and you're not into making out. That alone should tell
- 6:18Speaker 1: you this relationship isn't for you. There's some things in
- 6:23Speaker 1: this universe you gotta do. And if you like making out,
- 6:26Speaker 1: be with someone for the rest of your life that
- 6:28Speaker 1: you like making out with. Like I like making out,
- 6:32Speaker 1: and I'll tell you why. I think I'm a good kisser.
- 6:36Speaker 1: I think I'm great anyway, and I like to be
- 6:41Speaker 1: with someone who also thinks they're great and they're right
- 6:44Speaker 1: I hate being with someone who thinks they're great and
- 6:46Speaker 1: they're wrong because I know what I'm doing, So you
- 6:49Speaker 1: better fucking put up her shut up, Like I said,
- 6:53Speaker 1: that's the thing I know about Katie. Okay, I'm not
- 6:55Speaker 1: saying she's a good kisser. I think I think that
- 6:57Speaker 1: if she truly probably not, because she wears too much
- 7:00Speaker 1: wet lip gloss for that unless that clip gloss is
- 7:04Speaker 1: like made from actual strawberries, And I don't know why
- 7:07Speaker 1: I'm like making something like but like made from fruit
- 7:11Speaker 1: and taste yummy. I don't want all that in my mouth. Okay,
- 7:17Speaker 1: that's the other thing. She wears wet runny lip products,
- 7:25Speaker 1: and then as the day goes on, lips that were
- 7:28Speaker 1: just slightly overlined start to bleed. And I have been
- 7:36Speaker 1: wronged by this personally, by doing it to myself, and
- 7:43Speaker 1: it's just, you know, it's hard to line things. So okay,
- 7:50Speaker 1: She's like, oh my god, I'm so embarrassed. And she
- 7:53Speaker 1: doesn't really apologize to Josh, but what she does say
- 7:57Speaker 1: is I let me you a question, and he's like probably,
- 8:01Speaker 1: being like, well I leave you, No, obviously not, and
- 8:06Speaker 1: she's like, was everyone uncomfortable? And how is their experience.
- 8:11Speaker 1: I don't want them to like be mad, and he's like,
- 8:15Speaker 1: well they're one me, I'm your fiance. I was humiliated,
- 8:23Speaker 1: you know, like you're not gonna ask about me. She doesn't.
- 8:26Speaker 1: She feels like she cares more about their experiences. And
- 8:28Speaker 1: then she's like, I just get really scared about being abandoned.
- 8:34Speaker 1: I don't want people to just suddenly run away and leave,
- 8:38Speaker 1: and she starts crying, crying. It's like we fully get
- 8:41Speaker 1: a Katie breakdown, Katie with tears. It's interesting though, because
- 8:53Speaker 1: there seems to be like a habit loop that surely
- 8:57Speaker 1: needs to be remedied. And then I really need her
- 8:59Speaker 1: now to be like which is why I'm taking this
- 9:04Speaker 1: tape right to my therapists, because I just had a
- 9:06Speaker 1: breakthrough of what I'm doing and I have to have
- 9:08Speaker 1: someone work on I'm thinking so I can change this,
- 9:16Speaker 1: probably not not drinking so much amongst people. Also like
- 9:20Speaker 1: keeping hands to myself. Also because like this is something
- 9:23Speaker 1: that's kind of true, like Katie is like, you know,
- 9:27Speaker 1: a lovely, ginger young girl. If Katie was a male
- 9:37Speaker 1: who got so drunk that he just forcefully tried to
- 9:43Speaker 1: push himself on person after person in a bar. That
- 9:47Speaker 1: person would get kicked out of many a bar and
- 9:51Speaker 1: might even like have nights in jail or like charges
- 9:55Speaker 1: against them because of like consent and stuff like that.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Why does Katie have the wherewithal to like only do
- 10:02Speaker 1: it to like her friends or people that she knows
- 10:04Speaker 1: she feels safe too, Or has there been situations where
- 10:07Speaker 1: people have like press charges. I'm just honestly asking at
- 10:14Speaker 1: this point, and she has used this, I don't remember situation.
- 10:20Speaker 1: I've like an excuse a little bit too much for me.
- 10:27Speaker 1: You have to take accountability and responsibility for your life,
- 10:30Speaker 1: like after a certain age. Also just interesting that I
- 10:38Speaker 1: feel like no one in her life at her birthday
- 10:40Speaker 1: party was anyone soup's close to her for like a
- 10:43Speaker 1: long period of time, Like no cousins, no sisters, no brothers,
- 10:47Speaker 1: no anyone that she seemingly went to a school with.
- 10:52Speaker 1: They were all like run club buddies and people that
- 10:54Speaker 1: she met a traveler. I want to see someone that
- 10:58Speaker 1: she's known for a long time, Katie says, I don't
- 11:05Speaker 1: like it when things happen that are bad, which same girl,
- 11:13Speaker 1: sameh but speaks to like a level of expression and
- 11:20Speaker 1: understanding that I feel like could also use further circumspection. Okay,
- 11:32Speaker 1: so let's just say this. Definitely, people tend to escape
- 11:39Speaker 1: or use things to escape. So if you are feeling something,
- 11:47Speaker 1: you don't want to sit with the emotion because you
- 11:49Speaker 1: assign too much meaning to it, like that, it's like
- 11:52Speaker 1: going to be here forever means a certain hard truth.
- 11:56Speaker 1: You will ever not feel this feeling. You hate this
- 11:58Speaker 1: feeling so much, you know you're trying to fight it
- 12:00Speaker 1: with you know, everything within you if there isn't a way,
- 12:04Speaker 1: and this is what I'm working on in my own
- 12:05Speaker 1: therapist's office of just being like, you know what, Feelings
- 12:10Speaker 1: are a part of human nature. They come and they go,
- 12:15Speaker 1: and you just have to have compassion for yourself in
- 12:18Speaker 1: the moment. If it's a feeling that you don't love
- 12:21Speaker 1: to feel, that it should happen, that you can't run
- 12:24Speaker 1: away from it. That if it's discomfort, if you know
- 12:29Speaker 1: that it's meant to be felt, it's meant to be here,
- 12:32Speaker 1: just be with it and then let it pass or whatever.
- 12:39Speaker 1: And I think that sometimes when you have trauma or
- 12:43Speaker 1: sometimes when you can't process things well, you can really
- 12:46Speaker 1: try and escape those feelings in a bunch of ways,
- 12:50Speaker 1: and I wonder if all of the drinking and things
- 12:53Speaker 1: are Katie's way, which is another reason why I need
- 12:56Speaker 1: her to know. I want I want to know what
- 12:58Speaker 1: her level of understand standing of her triggers and what
- 13:02Speaker 1: she's doing, and what her help is in her life,
- 13:04Speaker 1: like with her structured help and I mean like her
- 13:07Speaker 1: psycho therapist or her psychologist's degree to help her with this,
- 13:12Speaker 1: because it does feel like she's skating by. She seems
- 13:18Speaker 1: like a nice enough girl, but she has some problems.
- 13:21Speaker 1: And I think that, you know, it's time to take
- 13:24Speaker 1: care of ourselves because she's gonna be a seasoned woman
- 13:27Speaker 1: at some point. At the same time, if she wasn't,
- 13:30Speaker 1: I mean, you know, a woman, and she had it,
- 13:31Speaker 1: and she's really dealing with like now kiss kan sorry
- 13:35Speaker 1: no consent, making out and touching and groping. I mean,
- 13:38Speaker 1: it's not good. Okay. I don't know how Josh is
- 13:44Speaker 1: going to get us to believe that she's overcome any
- 13:49Speaker 1: of that without again telling us that he doesn't mind it. Okay,
- 13:55Speaker 1: Asha and Maxwell, So they're now going to dinner and
- 14:00Speaker 1: wearing coordinating outfits. It feels like it's all beige and browns.
- 14:04Speaker 1: It's like very like earth tones, God bless. We're going
- 14:06Speaker 1: to Mantra restaurant. What's your mantra? He says, to stop
- 14:13Speaker 1: flinging her hands, because she's done that a lot, and
- 14:15Speaker 1: then she says that she does that when she's aggravated, So,
- 14:19Speaker 1: you know what, stop aggravating me and I'll stop doing it.
- 14:24Speaker 1: She doesn't seem to want to take any sort of
- 14:27Speaker 1: like note, definitely no criticism. She's wildly defensive. She doesn't
- 14:34Speaker 1: hear anything he says to being like, can you stop
- 14:37Speaker 1: doing that? Stop doing that? This is why she takes
- 14:40Speaker 1: everything to be like viscerally you to your core bad.
- 14:45Speaker 1: And therefore the options are ignore and tell me why
- 14:49Speaker 1: I'm stupid, or burn it all down because you feel
- 14:59Speaker 1: too hurt to look inside yourself without like ruining everything
- 15:04Speaker 1: about you. You know, which is I don't know, you
- 15:07Speaker 1: know it's it's indicative of, like, yeah, just emotional immaturity.
- 15:12Speaker 1: She's crazy. We know that because she believes crazy things. Okay,
- 15:20Speaker 1: he feels like he's over it. He gives us a look, honey,
- 15:23Speaker 1: like I cannot believe I'm dealing with this shit. His
- 15:28Speaker 1: head is on his hands. He has really lovely bracelets,
- 15:33Speaker 1: and she looks at him and she's like, I need
- 15:35Speaker 1: clarification over your statement of whether God wants us to
- 15:40Speaker 1: get married. She says she can't believe that he said that,
- 15:50Speaker 1: and he said that he cannot stand when she disrespects
- 15:55Speaker 1: his family, and she says hush, and he's like, no,
- 15:59Speaker 1: don't tell me to be quiet like that. You're disrespectful
- 16:02Speaker 1: to me, and she's like, fuck your family. You should
- 16:08Speaker 1: think about letting go of your family. I'm your family now,
- 16:15Speaker 1: it's me or them. In the Bible, they say go
- 16:19Speaker 1: go to your woman, and you will be with the
- 16:21Speaker 1: woman now that I am the rib of you, and
- 16:24Speaker 1: you know it's me and you. I'm your rib. You're
- 16:26Speaker 1: not your mom's rib. You know. Like she really is
- 16:30Speaker 1: like forget those people. She really last episode was like
- 16:33Speaker 1: I'm not even supposed to be here to deal with them.
- 16:36Speaker 1: You were supposed to be in America just dealing with
- 16:38Speaker 1: my mom Juliette, who's lovely, funny, great skin, and also
- 16:45Speaker 1: me and he I mean, she yeah, He's like, I
- 16:48Speaker 1: wonder if he knows what she's going to be like
- 16:50Speaker 1: in America. He's getting a taste because I feel like
- 16:54Speaker 1: it's different. She's very similar. I'm just saying when he's
- 16:58Speaker 1: in America because the least he can move around and
- 17:01Speaker 1: he has like freedom in you know, like Africa, he
- 17:04Speaker 1: knows what he's doing and he has like you know,
- 17:06Speaker 1: access to things, and he can like pay for things
- 17:09Speaker 1: or whatever. But you know, in America he's gonna have less, well, liberty,
- 17:15Speaker 1: I guess to like move and do do his shit.
- 17:24Speaker 1: She's like, you've changed. I'm going to go back to
- 17:28Speaker 1: the Maxwell you were. Maxwell. Used to be so loving,
- 17:33Speaker 1: so nice, so like not cynical, not criticizing me all
- 17:37Speaker 1: the goddamn time. Used to be great because you never
- 17:39Speaker 1: talked bad about me. You only let me talk bad
- 17:42Speaker 1: about you. Of things I want to change, you were
- 17:44Speaker 1: okay with that and did some of the things. That's
- 17:46Speaker 1: the guy I like, the one that just behaves, listens
- 17:49Speaker 1: to everything I say and does it most of it.
- 17:56Speaker 1: He's like, Okay, here's the thing. Right now, you're an
- 18:00Speaker 1: Africa and you have to act accordingly. And that's obviously
- 18:03Speaker 1: some not something that she's doing. And she's like, no,
- 18:06Speaker 1: you pick me or Africa and your family? And also
- 18:13Speaker 1: what side is God on my side? Remember me, I'll
- 18:18Speaker 1: tell you what I'm doing speaking in tongues on the
- 18:20Speaker 1: phone on the phone with you're gonna say no to that.
- 18:23Speaker 1: He's like, you're right, I choose you. She's like, say
- 18:26Speaker 1: you choose me every day, Say you choose me every day.
- 18:36Speaker 1: He's like, I choose you, choose you, choose you every day.
- 18:45Speaker 1: She's very controlling. Yeah, she's it's yeah, she gives like yeah,
- 18:51Speaker 1: she's like Marissa kind of right. She's very demanding. If
- 18:58Speaker 1: that's not one thing, she's just aal and she has
- 19:03Speaker 1: the power of God on her side. So it's like
- 19:07Speaker 1: what God wants for her exactly what she wants for
- 19:10Speaker 1: her is also the same thing, which is coincidental. That's
- 19:13Speaker 1: why she knows she's God's favorite. Whatever she thinks God wants,
- 19:18Speaker 1: they're the same mind. So anyway, shay, oh wait, oh no,
- 19:27Speaker 1: I'm not done yet. So they also have to go
- 19:31Speaker 1: over you know, business talk. The business talk is what
- 19:35Speaker 1: they should do about the whole visa situation. And of
- 19:38Speaker 1: course we know they have two options, either the fiance visa,
- 19:41Speaker 1: which they can't get they've already tried, and the spousal visa,
- 19:45Speaker 1: which means they would get married in Nigeria, which would
- 19:48Speaker 1: further cement them into you know, this union, which we
- 19:51Speaker 1: know doesn't look promising, but it's the thing they have
- 19:57Speaker 1: to do to move on what they want to do
- 20:03Speaker 1: that's going and in turmoil, we think, okay, so guess
- 20:09Speaker 1: what they're like, Yep, you know what spousal it is.
- 20:12Speaker 1: That's the only way to do it. And we're like,
- 20:13Speaker 1: mm hmm. That's why there's gonna be like fourteen more
- 20:17Speaker 1: episodes in the season. Anyway. Shay and annabel So, he
- 20:23Speaker 1: is driving his truck because he's hauling a bunch of
- 20:26Speaker 1: stuff in the back, and he's like, let me give
- 20:28Speaker 1: you an update of what's happening. Everything sucks. She's mad
- 20:31Speaker 1: all the time. Annabelle is giving me resting bitch face.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Twenty four to seven. I'm right now having to go
- 20:37Speaker 1: dump a bunch of Nicole's stuff because annabel wanted it
- 20:41Speaker 1: out but also wanted Nicole to deal with it in
- 20:45Speaker 1: like twenty four hours and Nicole is not about that.
- 20:49Speaker 1: And I have all this stuff, so I'm going to
- 20:51Speaker 1: like dump it for her or whatever, sala dump it.
- 20:56Speaker 1: Annabelle hasn't talked to him and also is upset because Allison,
- 21:02Speaker 1: his daughter, told her that frequently, if not every time
- 21:06Speaker 1: they're on the phone or see each other, they always
- 21:09Speaker 1: say how they still have feelings for each other and
- 21:13Speaker 1: will you know each other? So like that's a hard
- 21:22Speaker 1: thing to swallow. I'm sorry. They just say that they're
- 21:25Speaker 1: just gonna be perpetually in love with each other, and like,
- 21:28Speaker 1: just like two tormented souls where there's Romeo and Juliet
- 21:31Speaker 1: just one block away from each other. That's what I
- 21:36Speaker 1: would have to live with, is what you're saying. That's
- 21:39Speaker 1: a nightmare. That's some Sister Wives shit, that's this is
- 21:45Speaker 1: this is some poly shit. So she comes back and
- 21:52Speaker 1: Anna Pell's in a lovely two piece, you know, like
- 21:55Speaker 1: what looks like Barley knockoff or whatever. It's just like
- 21:57Speaker 1: a jogger outfit, you know, like let's get some athleisure
- 22:01Speaker 1: where going, honey, And he's like, do you want to
- 22:03Speaker 1: go get some coffee? And so she yes, you know,
- 22:05Speaker 1: and she's like, I just feel like our whole relationship
- 22:08Speaker 1: is a lie and he's like why it's Oh, it's
- 22:11Speaker 1: because your daughter, Alison told me you do nothing but
- 22:16Speaker 1: lie to me. And he's like, aren't that bitch Alison
- 22:23Speaker 1: who I love to drink with? And has my face. Hm,
- 22:29Speaker 1: I just got her my free manicure and paid for
- 22:32Speaker 1: her groceries. You know. She says the craziest defense, which
- 22:40Speaker 1: is that, no, it's not that I say I love you,
- 22:44Speaker 1: Nicole and I want to marry you know, I just
- 22:47Speaker 1: say when I'm drunk, just that I can't be with you,
- 22:52Speaker 1: but I love you for the rest of time and space.
- 22:58Speaker 1: You're like, what, so why can't you be with her?
- 23:04Speaker 1: I so, yeah, Like, if you love someone, is it
- 23:08Speaker 1: just that you both like I must say? And why
- 23:11Speaker 1: won't Nicole? Does the cole want to be with you?
- 23:14Speaker 1: Or does the cole also think that you can't be together?
- 23:17Speaker 1: And you just don't want to be with her because
- 23:21Speaker 1: you want to fuck other people, but you still want
- 23:24Speaker 1: to fuck her. So this is just your way of
- 23:26Speaker 1: saying it. And you can't even give that up to
- 23:28Speaker 1: get married to Annabel, who I'm assuming he just thinks
- 23:31Speaker 1: he can cheat on. It's so interesting to me. Annabel's like, Okay, well,
- 23:38Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to set some boundaries and if you
- 23:40Speaker 1: don't agree with them, I'm going to go home. He's like, boundaries,
- 23:46Speaker 1: what's that? She's like break up with Nicole, which is
- 23:51Speaker 1: a crazy way of saying. He's like, she's like, never
- 23:54Speaker 1: talk to her or ever see her again. He's like,
- 23:56Speaker 1: well they do have a child together. I'm like, how
- 24:00Speaker 1: old is this child? Is this child thirteen? Is this
- 24:05Speaker 1: child four? Is this child twenty one? Something about this
- 24:11Speaker 1: is a little fake to me. So next shot, they're
- 24:14Speaker 1: getting ready for a party at the lake and we're
- 24:17Speaker 1: so happy. We're like, oh my God, put the king
- 24:19Speaker 1: back on his throne. Honey, we got to see what's this.
- 24:21Speaker 1: Whole town loves this man for what's happening Paduca honey
- 24:25Speaker 1: at this lake. So she's like, what am I gonna
- 24:27Speaker 1: wear to the lake? She's wearing? So she brings out
- 24:30Speaker 1: a cream sweater. It's like very Chanelle esque of the
- 24:32Speaker 1: gold buttons. He's like, yeah, put something on. You're gonna
- 24:36Speaker 1: have something underneath that, right, She's like yeah, totally dah.
- 24:41Speaker 1: He's like, what are you wearing? She's like Calvin Klein,
- 24:43Speaker 1: you know, it's a clueless reference. And he's like, Okay,
- 24:45Speaker 1: you bring that. I'm gonna bring what I need to bring,
- 24:47Speaker 1: which is a thirty pack. I've never heard of a
- 24:50Speaker 1: thirty pack. Is there such a thing as a thirty pack?
- 24:52Speaker 1: A thirty pack of beer. I've heard of a twelve pack?
- 24:56Speaker 1: Is there a even? I'm there's a twenty four pack,
- 24:59Speaker 1: and then on top of twenty fourth there's a thirty pack.
- 25:05Speaker 1: She's like, who's coming, and so he's like, oh, just Barbara, Stacy, Nancy, Darita, Lucy.
- 25:21Speaker 1: You know, you're just like a lot of girl names.
- 25:27Speaker 1: She's like, yeah, not one guy. How come Anngie's dad
- 25:29Speaker 1: never comes to these things? Jangie's dad's your friend, right,
- 25:33Speaker 1: how come Anngie's dad never gets an invite? Notice that?
- 25:37Speaker 1: What does that? Real good? We see their lake house,
- 25:43Speaker 1: which is on a beautiful lake, you know, I'm sure
- 25:45Speaker 1: when it changes colors. It's beautiful, and it's a very smart,
- 25:51Speaker 1: charming cabin. It has like a little cute kitchen area
- 25:57Speaker 1: and dining room area, and she loves it, you know.
- 26:00Speaker 1: And she's like somewhat tickled because she's like, in the Philippines,
- 26:03Speaker 1: I live basically in a one bedroom with my entire family.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Or did she say one house? Maybe she's in one
- 26:09Speaker 1: house with my entire family. And here we have two
- 26:13Speaker 1: homes Shae and I and only one family, me and him.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Fuck Allison, Fuck Allison's kids. And his other family, you know,
- 26:23Speaker 1: God bless, which I'm sure they don't live in the
- 26:26Speaker 1: first part, but I mean the lake house, you know,
- 26:28Speaker 1: is for everyone, right it does. Only Shay have the keys.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Probably Alison of course joins them. And Alison knows what
- 26:37Speaker 1: happens at a lake house party, so she brings her
- 26:39Speaker 1: own seat and it probably has like one of those
- 26:41Speaker 1: seats that has a little like coozy nest so she
- 26:44Speaker 1: can put a drink in there, probably one on the
- 26:46Speaker 1: other side. He's like, uh, Annabell, start the chili. I'm like,
- 26:54Speaker 1: start the chili. She just knows she's gonna make just
- 26:57Speaker 1: fresh chili or what she's cutting things? But is it
- 27:00Speaker 1: just like opening a bunch of stags just pouring them
- 27:03Speaker 1: in a crock pot and uh. While he's like, I
- 27:06Speaker 1: want to get the beer, but he actually just wants
- 27:08Speaker 1: to talk to Alison about like fucking being a snitch.
- 27:12Speaker 1: What the hell are you doing telling Annabelle all of
- 27:15Speaker 1: my business? And she's like, well, I think that someone
- 27:19Speaker 1: should know the truth before they get married. And he's like, well,
- 27:23Speaker 1: we might not get married or we almost didn't get
- 27:26Speaker 1: married because of you, and she's like, no, because of you.
- 27:28Speaker 1: Dad also you like my lip filler looks good. It
- 27:34Speaker 1: does look good. Alison's face is kind of like an
- 27:38Speaker 1: Annabelle face, both the girl. Both women could rock being
- 27:41Speaker 1: on a soap rob but because both have like come
- 27:43Speaker 1: the kind of face that likes to sit like this.
- 27:47Speaker 1: That's annabel this is Alison. It's just so smirky. She
- 27:58Speaker 1: loves a smirk. So then Annabelle comes back in from
- 28:06Speaker 1: making the chili and she's like, I'm he wants her
- 28:10Speaker 1: to clean, and then it's Alison makes this comment like
- 28:15Speaker 1: come do your job and clean to Annabelle. And at
- 28:19Speaker 1: first you would assume that she's being horribly like racist
- 28:22Speaker 1: and mean, but I think that she's being subversive to
- 28:25Speaker 1: her dad, being like, yeah, come do what you're good at.
- 28:29Speaker 1: And this is why I think I'm telling you this
- 28:33Speaker 1: stuff so that you are well informed. And this is
- 28:37Speaker 1: how my dad is treating you, like go make the
- 28:40Speaker 1: chili and go do that. I wonder if other people
- 28:42Speaker 1: are going to talk about this, but that's how I
- 28:44Speaker 1: inferred that comment. I need to know your thoughts, though
- 28:47Speaker 1: I think Alison knows what she's doing. I don't think
- 28:49Speaker 1: Alison's a bad person, but I think that she thinks
- 28:51Speaker 1: her dad is a bad person. She thinks that her
- 28:52Speaker 1: dad shouldn't ever get married, at least without the person
- 28:56Speaker 1: knowing exactly who her dad is, and is then being like,
- 28:59Speaker 1: I'm okay with it. I get a lakehouse. I want
- 29:03Speaker 1: access to the lakehouse. I'm okay with that. There, it's
- 29:09Speaker 1: like we need Josh to be like, I like a
- 29:12Speaker 1: little something fun in the bedroom, and I don't mind
- 29:14Speaker 1: her Katie making out with people. It's fine, and so
- 29:18Speaker 1: we can be like, okay, okay, then we'll never ask.
- 29:23Speaker 1: Now we get it. Now, we get it, now, we
- 29:25Speaker 1: understand it just because you went on this show. You
- 29:27Speaker 1: went on the show that like the showcases of behavior,
- 29:29Speaker 1: so we can only like wonder, like why so you
- 29:32Speaker 1: told us? And now we know so we can go
- 29:34Speaker 1: to bed well tonight just thinking about everything having a
- 29:38Speaker 1: rhyme and reason, you know. So people start coming to
- 29:43Speaker 1: this party and again they know what to bring, which
- 29:47Speaker 1: is like they're rolling up with drinks already in their hands,
- 29:50Speaker 1: with koozies, and then they can just throw that drink
- 29:52Speaker 1: away and get that koozy filled with a new drink.
- 29:55Speaker 1: One girl rolls in with a Stanley Honey like a
- 29:58Speaker 1: fake Stanley and that girl's name is Sabrina and she's
- 30:01Speaker 1: like a blonde lady that is very performative, and it's like, Annabel,
- 30:05Speaker 1: we just can't wait to meet you. Let's do a
- 30:09Speaker 1: jaeger Meister bomb shot. Jaeger bomb, that's what it's called.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Jeger Meister bomb. I'm so sorry, guys, a Yaeger bomb together.
- 30:16Speaker 1: So Annabel has to do a Yaeger bomb. Now I
- 30:19Speaker 1: have done one. It's just been a long, ast minute.
- 30:21Speaker 1: It's like that thing where it like burns because it's
- 30:25Speaker 1: like some is Yeger whiskey. Yeah, so that's what I remember.
- 30:34Speaker 1: It burns, not in the way tequila burns in a
- 30:38Speaker 1: different way, in a hot way. Now, later on to
- 30:43Speaker 1: the confessionals, she's like, I'll tell you, Annabell didn't hate it,
- 30:48Speaker 1: even though she gave that face like she had two
- 30:52Speaker 1: telling her business. So we also see this shot. I
- 30:56Speaker 1: took it of another blonde lady who is just fully
- 31:02Speaker 1: glossy lipped in her own bottle of like vodka. I
- 31:05Speaker 1: don't know if she brought this vodka bottle because it's
- 31:09Speaker 1: wrapped in black wrimen. It feels like she just gifted
- 31:15Speaker 1: it to her friend. And then opened it upon arrival
- 31:19Speaker 1: and is now drinking from it with her own mouth
- 31:24Speaker 1: out of nowhere, and it does feel that way. Suddenly
- 31:27Speaker 1: some guy has a mic. We're like, what huh. And
- 31:29Speaker 1: there's like a guy with a mic in like a
- 31:31Speaker 1: stage or's like an amplifier. We're like, oh, okay, so
- 31:35Speaker 1: this okay? So I mean, okay, is this where is
- 31:38Speaker 1: the lake in relationship to where these people are partying?
- 31:44Speaker 1: For some reason, the houses like feels like it's in
- 31:48Speaker 1: the back. I'm assuming that your lake parties happen overlooking
- 31:54Speaker 1: the lake, So don't know why, for instance, there's not
- 31:58Speaker 1: any shots or is there any shots? And I'm just
- 32:00Speaker 1: dumb of the deck because the deck is the best
- 32:03Speaker 1: part of the lake house. But we seem to be
- 32:07Speaker 1: like in the parking area. Okay, do you guys notice that?
- 32:11Speaker 1: Is that weird? But I'm really bad spatially? Okay. So
- 32:15Speaker 1: some guy right is like, we just want to tell
- 32:18Speaker 1: everyone it's Shaye's birthday and he's never asked for anything,
- 32:22Speaker 1: and one guy's like, he definitely have for a beer.
- 32:25Speaker 1: People are like, oh, that's our Shae, always asking for things. Anyway.
- 32:32Speaker 1: It's also welcome to America. To annabel party and then
- 32:36Speaker 1: she's like, yep, not just my birthday, but more importantly Annabel,
- 32:41Speaker 1: welcome to America. And then Annabel's like, I'm shy, and
- 32:46Speaker 1: then she's like that's how I like him, and we're like,
- 32:51Speaker 1: oh my god, no, Also, you're not shy. Why I
- 32:57Speaker 1: know you're like your speech she says, she's speechless, but
- 32:59Speaker 1: I kind I don't want her to, like, you know,
- 33:01Speaker 1: say something, because she's funny. Maybe she I would love
- 33:07Speaker 1: her to be like, I'm drunk. Sorry, I've had two
- 33:11Speaker 1: yaeger shots. Anyway, we get the worst scene possible, which
- 33:22Speaker 1: is disgusting, which is Shay is surrounded by like high schoolers,
- 33:30Speaker 1: people look very young. One girl is twenty one, and
- 33:35Speaker 1: then he looks right at Annabelle while hugging that girl.
- 33:39Speaker 1: One arm around that girl and one I'm around her
- 33:41Speaker 1: friend for some reason and says, I'll tell you right now,
- 33:46Speaker 1: if I was twenty one looking at Annabel, you wouldn't
- 33:50Speaker 1: be here after finding out that hot girl was twenty one.
- 33:59Speaker 1: Why do you I think that's appropriate or respectful to
- 34:02Speaker 1: say when you look like that. I want Anna Abole
- 34:11Speaker 1: to be like, oh, I'll tell you right now. If
- 34:14Speaker 1: anyone was richer or younger than you or hotter right
- 34:19Speaker 1: now here in giving me an option and I can
- 34:23Speaker 1: still you know, be in America and be comfortable. Yeah,
- 34:27Speaker 1: oh for sure, me too. Buddy. You're not the first,
- 34:30Speaker 1: You're not the last. You know what I'm saying? Like
- 34:33Speaker 1: that makes me really upset. He's gross and the girls
- 34:37Speaker 1: around him are like ha hahaha. And I also don't
- 34:41Speaker 1: like that's that's crazy to me because I feel like
- 34:43Speaker 1: so many young people that, at least what I'm assuming,
- 34:47Speaker 1: are given a sort of power and a tongue that
- 34:51Speaker 1: like far exceeds what I had, you know, like the
- 34:55Speaker 1: power to say. I feel like I'm surprised none of
- 34:57Speaker 1: these them are like what, buddy, gross? Gross? What are
- 35:01Speaker 1: You're like eighty five? He's like, I'm sixty four. You're
- 35:05Speaker 1: like no, well you don't look at buddy. Yeah, that's
- 35:11Speaker 1: so gross. Why why doesn't he know it's gross yet? Like,
- 35:15Speaker 1: and I really need this scene to be I need
- 35:18Speaker 1: him to sit down, and I needed to put like
- 35:21Speaker 1: toothpicks and his eyeballs. I need him to watch this
- 35:23Speaker 1: scene for seventy two hours straight so he realizes that
- 35:28Speaker 1: he is gross for thinking this and for saying that
- 35:30Speaker 1: he can do this and how dare he? And she
- 35:32Speaker 1: didn't want to hear that, no female did not the
- 35:35Speaker 1: twenty one year old, because just think about this, that
- 35:38Speaker 1: you are supposing then that if he was just the
- 35:41Speaker 1: same person in twenty one, you'd be able to fuck
- 35:44Speaker 1: this one girl. She'd have no consent of her own
- 35:49Speaker 1: to make that choice or to see if you're she's
- 35:50Speaker 1: into you. All it would take is for you to
- 35:53Speaker 1: be younger? Would you be so charged? Like, it's just
- 35:57Speaker 1: there's a lot it supposes, okay, and I hate every
- 36:00Speaker 1: thing it's supposes. She's understandably horrified, as we all are,
- 36:10Speaker 1: and she says I can't marry him, I can't live
- 36:16Speaker 1: a life like this, and we are supposed to be
- 36:18Speaker 1: like yeah, girl, well yeah, you and Josh have some
- 36:22Speaker 1: thinking to do, because these people have showed you who
- 36:26Speaker 1: they are and they're not gonna change. They either don't
- 36:29Speaker 1: want to change or they only say they want to change.
- 36:32Speaker 1: But actions speak louder than we're you know, Like, these
- 36:36Speaker 1: actions are the actions of someone who's like take it
- 36:39Speaker 1: or leave it. Take me as I am who else?
- 36:45Speaker 1: Man toothy? Sorry, I'm just in a singing mood, but
- 36:48Speaker 1: that's Brent obviously. I'm just really excited to see what
- 36:54Speaker 1: happens next. And uh, I also want to know, like
- 36:57Speaker 1: who Alison's hooking up with. I want to see, like
- 37:00Speaker 1: who Allison's guy, because is there a guy that she
- 37:02Speaker 1: gets to be Like come to Daddy's beach house. I
- 37:05Speaker 1: have those kids are with a sitter. Come fuck me
- 37:09Speaker 1: at Daddy's beach house. I don't know. Do you for
- 37:14Speaker 1: think about that? I don't Why would I? All right?
- 37:20Speaker 1: My loves listen join me on patreon dot com. Won't
- 37:24Speaker 1: you consider giving me five dollars wherever you can? I
- 37:27Speaker 1: would really appreciate it. At the same time, you can
- 37:29Speaker 1: follow at Chris Silfera on Instagram and on TikTok, and
- 37:32Speaker 1: I have a YouTube page, I have a Facebook page,
- 37:35Speaker 1: and I have a Facebook group Vanity Farah. I exist
- 37:38Speaker 1: on all planes, in all galaxies, and all space all time.
- 37:41Speaker 1: I really appreciate the time we've spent together. Thank you
- 37:44Speaker 1: so much for downloading my episodes and for sharing them.
- 37:46Speaker 1: It really means a lot. I'm trying to grow my
- 37:48Speaker 1: podcast and also just trying to take care of myself,
- 37:51Speaker 1: you know, the best I can, and I'm hoping that
- 37:54Speaker 1: any amount of joy I give you know that you
- 37:57Speaker 1: have given it back to me, and I appreciate, like
- 38:00Speaker 1: anyone who wants to listen to me talk, I'm going
- 38:03Speaker 1: to try and get back to you two breaths, two
- 38:05Speaker 1: moments of hopefully bringing yourself into the present, or two
- 38:09Speaker 1: chances for a brief respite to all of our worries
- 38:13Speaker 1: and fears and all of our sensory overloads, but also
- 38:17Speaker 1: a sort of compassionate gift of kindness you can give
- 38:21Speaker 1: to yourself by putting your hand over your heart and
- 38:23Speaker 1: being like, let's bring ourselves here right now together and
- 38:28Speaker 1: just breathe two breaths and be like we are fine,
- 38:34Speaker 1: We're doing it okay, wetting it all out and then
- 38:44Speaker 1: in out one more dime. Oh alright, my babes, take
- 39:12Speaker 1: care of yourselves and one another, stand up for what
- 39:14Speaker 1: you believe in. Make art. Bye.
