- 1:42Speaker 2: Go to Hooddentalcare dot com all right now here in
- 1:47Speaker 2: this segment, I want to have a conversation about scheduling
- 1:50Speaker 2: because we've had this before, but it always pops up
- 1:55Speaker 2: that there's some people that want the easiest possible schedule
- 1:58Speaker 2: that you can have. It's about the record, It's about
- 2:01Speaker 2: getting to the playoff, having a chance. I understand where
- 2:05Speaker 2: that comes from. I understand if you're ten and two,
- 2:10Speaker 2: eleven to one in the SEC, you're gonna make the
- 2:12Speaker 2: playoff most times, more times than not, not always, not
- 2:15Speaker 2: in absolutes, but more times than not. But a couple
- 2:19Speaker 2: of things that I don't like about that one Like,
- 2:23Speaker 2: I want to play a competition that gets me ready,
- 2:25Speaker 2: that forges me in the fire to be ready for
- 2:28Speaker 2: conference play. In the non conference, I want to have
- 2:31Speaker 2: a resume that even if I have a couple of stumbles,
- 2:34Speaker 2: it's going to hold up better than that team that
- 2:36Speaker 2: didn't play anybody like I want to have that part
- 2:38Speaker 2: of the conversation. And we have the greatest fans in
- 2:42Speaker 2: the world. Why would we not treat them to some
- 2:46Speaker 2: marquee matchups. Why would we only treat them to directional
- 2:49Speaker 2: school You you can play really good teams in the
- 2:53Speaker 2: non con and win a national championship. In two thousand
- 2:56Speaker 2: and seven, we hosted Virginia Tech, a team played in
- 2:59Speaker 2: the Orange Bowl that year they won their conference.
- 3:02Speaker 3: We beat the hell out of them.
- 3:04Speaker 2: But they were a top ten football team the entire season.
- 3:09Speaker 2: We won a national championship. Twenty nineteen, went on the
- 3:12Speaker 2: road to play Texas. It's a great game, one of
- 3:14Speaker 2: the best college football games I've ever been to in person.
- 3:18Speaker 2: They won that game, and they went and won the
- 3:20Speaker 2: national championship.
- 3:21Speaker 3: It can be done.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Twenty eleven, I know they didn't finish it, but they
- 3:24Speaker 2: had an incredible non con game against Oregon.
- 3:28Speaker 3: Beat the hell out of them.
- 3:29Speaker 4: That was awesome.
- 3:30Speaker 2: That was fun. Those games are exciting. This year, you
- 3:34Speaker 2: opened up the season with Clemson. Last year you went
- 3:36Speaker 2: on the road against Clemson. So I understand, like, oh man,
- 3:41Speaker 2: this team. Look at all they had to play was
- 3:43Speaker 2: this and the SEC rule of you got to play
- 3:46Speaker 2: at least one power conference non conference opponent. Sometimes you
- 3:51Speaker 2: skate by that, like Ole Miss. Last year they got
- 3:53Speaker 2: by with playing Washington State, right, it kind of manipulated
- 3:57Speaker 2: the rules a little bit. They're play a Clemson. I
- 4:01Speaker 2: would rather play those teams that move the needle. That
- 4:04Speaker 2: place across the streets is the greatest place on earth
- 4:06Speaker 2: when it's fully throated, turned up to an eleven and
- 4:10Speaker 2: ready to go for a primetime opponent. So it might
- 4:14Speaker 2: be the meathead talking to me. It might be the competitor.
- 4:17Speaker 2: That's why you play the game. You play the game
- 4:19Speaker 2: to get ready for those kind of matchups. You play
- 4:21Speaker 2: the game to get ready for the teams that you
- 4:24Speaker 2: don't have to guess who it is. You know by
- 4:26Speaker 2: the logo as soon as you see the uniform, who
- 4:28Speaker 2: that is what they're all about.
- 4:29Speaker 3: So I don't know.
- 4:32Speaker 2: I've seen LSU win national championships playing against top tier
- 4:35Speaker 2: non conference opponents before I know they're Adding another conference
- 4:39Speaker 2: game to the schedule doesn't make it easier. I get it,
- 4:42Speaker 2: But that rule's not going away. You still have to
- 4:45Speaker 2: play a power non conference game as well. Make it
- 4:50Speaker 2: a juicy one, right, I mean, we could go through
- 4:55Speaker 2: the list of teams that have had a game like
- 4:58Speaker 2: that and still win and won a national.
- 4:59Speaker 5: Championionship, and you can actually you can make the argument
- 5:03Speaker 5: as well that there are teams that have had an
- 5:05Speaker 5: incredible record and not played anybody and not gotten in
- 5:10Speaker 5: the tournament.
- 5:11Speaker 3: All uh Florida State a couple of years ago.
- 5:16Speaker 4: I think the.
- 5:16Speaker 5: Opinion of I don't want to play anybody else good
- 5:22Speaker 5: because the SEC is hard already, right, So I don't
- 5:26Speaker 5: want to say, like the opinions like we want to
- 5:28Speaker 5: play a soft schedule, there's these extra games.
- 5:32Speaker 4: It's the Clemsons, it's the.
- 5:33Speaker 5: USC, it's it's those types of games that people are
- 5:37Speaker 5: making the argument for or have the opinion of. And
- 5:39Speaker 5: I and like Jake said, like I get that opinion.
- 5:41Speaker 5: I understand feeling that way because the overall objective at
- 5:46Speaker 5: the end of the season is to win a championship.
- 5:49Speaker 5: But this is college football, this is professional football now.
- 5:56Speaker 5: The games when we go into the in the fall,
- 6:00Speaker 5: as a fan, having the games where there aren't any
- 6:03Speaker 5: big games on that week, it's awful. It's an awful viewership.
- 6:08Speaker 5: It's awful for the fan. It's not very fine. I
- 6:11Speaker 5: hate the direction of school games. I hate them, right,
- 6:14Speaker 5: I don't like I don't like him as a fan.
- 6:15Speaker 5: I didn't like them as a player. But as a competitor,
- 6:19Speaker 5: you always want to play the best. You want to
- 6:21Speaker 5: test yourself against the best. You ask players, hey, do
- 6:24Speaker 5: you want to play an easy schedule and get in
- 6:25Speaker 5: the playoffs or you want to play a hard schedule
- 6:27Speaker 5: and have a lower chance of getting the playoffs, but
- 6:30Speaker 5: still if you're good enough to get the playoffs, you
- 6:32Speaker 5: get in the playoffs. I think most competitors will say, yeah,
- 6:35Speaker 5: I want to play the big teams. You come to LSU,
- 6:37Speaker 5: you go to the SEC to play in big games,
- 6:39Speaker 5: right right. That's the reason, that's the reason why recruits
- 6:42Speaker 5: want to go to the SEC. That is what makes
- 6:45Speaker 5: SEC fans proud to be fans and be in this conference.
- 6:50Speaker 5: It's because you're the alpha of college football from a
- 6:55Speaker 5: conference perspective, or.
- 6:57Speaker 3: You should be at least.
- 7:01Speaker 5: And I just think it's a week take to say,
- 7:06Speaker 5: all right, these other schools, like we're going to schedule easily.
- 7:09Speaker 5: And I know, and I know from like Lane's podium.
- 7:14Speaker 5: He made the comment yesterday about you know, the goals
- 7:17Speaker 5: to get in and I get that, and that's what
- 7:20Speaker 5: he has to do. But I just think that somebody
- 7:23Speaker 5: has to say, I love what else she's done with scheduling.
- 7:26Speaker 5: I just love it, and I hope it never changes.
- 7:30Speaker 5: I love having the big games. I love testing yourself
- 7:33Speaker 5: and I get it, like you have to be callous
- 7:35Speaker 5: as a team. You have to understand how to win
- 7:38Speaker 5: in close games, in tight games, and like, look, if
- 7:41Speaker 5: you go and lose all these games, you're not good
- 7:43Speaker 5: enough to go to the playoffs anyway.
- 7:45Speaker 3: That's the thing.
- 7:46Speaker 5: It's like, do you want to sneak into the playoffs
- 7:49Speaker 5: and just lose or do you want to be good
- 7:50Speaker 5: enough to go out and a search of dominance on
- 7:54Speaker 5: another program?
- 7:55Speaker 3: That's what's fun. We hate Florida, right, We hate Florida.
- 7:59Speaker 5: Hate them, hate them, can't stand them, hate their jeorts,
- 8:05Speaker 5: hate the gator chop. They are a bunch of losers.
- 8:08Speaker 5: But guess what, I want them to be really good
- 8:11Speaker 5: at football. I do because I wanted to mean something.
- 8:15Speaker 3: I wanted to mean something.
- 8:16Speaker 5: I want to play them every single year because it
- 8:19Speaker 5: means something to play and I love hating Florida and
- 8:23Speaker 5: I love it when they're good because it means something.
- 8:26Speaker 5: Every week should mean something to the player, to the fans,
- 8:31Speaker 5: to the coaches. Every week should mean something. There shouldn't
- 8:34Speaker 5: be a week you go in in college football with
- 8:36Speaker 5: as much money as there is in college football. There
- 8:42Speaker 5: shouldn't be a week you go in hoping not to
- 8:44Speaker 5: get your star player hurt, hoping that let's just get
- 8:47Speaker 5: through this one. No, every single week college football should
- 8:53Speaker 5: matter because people who buy tickets and go to the game,
- 8:57Speaker 5: they spend a lot of money A lot of money,
- 8:58Speaker 5: a lot of money.
- 8:59Speaker 3: And it's not just for the tickets.
- 9:01Speaker 5: It's for the hotels, it's for the travel, it's for this,
- 9:04Speaker 5: it's for that, it's for the thirty dollars beers, it's
- 9:09Speaker 5: for You're spending a lot of money. It should mean something,
- 9:12Speaker 5: and it doesn't mean anything when in the second half
- 9:15Speaker 5: there's fifteen thousand people.
- 9:17Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm with you. Those games. Those games aren't even
- 9:20Speaker 3: fun to call.
- 9:21Speaker 5: They're not They're not fun to play in. Now they
- 9:25Speaker 5: sucked the play in. I hated it.
- 9:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I like what LSU does in scheduling. You still
- 9:33Speaker 2: have some of those games. But you have a game
- 9:35Speaker 2: with a Clemson, then you go Louisian Tack, then you
- 9:38Speaker 2: go at Old Miss. You can't tell me that playing
- 9:41Speaker 2: Clemson before you get to conference play isn't going to
- 9:44Speaker 2: get you ready quicker than if you played Division FCS
- 9:49Speaker 2: school Louisiana Tack and then went to Old Miss. You
- 9:52Speaker 2: just can't tell me that you're playing Clemson. Then you
- 9:56Speaker 2: have Louisiana Tach. It's not a bad football team, right,
- 9:59Speaker 2: I mean, not the worst you're going to play. And
- 10:02Speaker 2: then you go on the road to Old Miss. Then
- 10:03Speaker 2: you play Texas A and M. That's you know, that's
- 10:07Speaker 2: four tough games. But I like having a game like
- 10:10Speaker 2: a Clemson at home to get you ready for the
- 10:13Speaker 2: stretch of at Ole miss in Texas A and M.
- 10:19Speaker 5: I got it the goals to win a championship, right, yep,
- 10:22Speaker 5: goals to get into the playoff. So go do it, dude,
- 10:26Speaker 5: against whoever's on the schedule, and hopefully it's.
- 10:29Speaker 4: A good game.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Again when else u's won a national championship, or when
- 10:32Speaker 2: they've played for one Virginia Tech and O seven top
- 10:35Speaker 2: ten team Oregon in eleven top ten team Texas I
- 10:40Speaker 2: believe was in the top ten at the time in
- 10:42Speaker 2: twenty nineteen. In two thousand and three, I think I
- 10:46Speaker 2: went to Arizona like that and you'll end up crushing them.
- 10:49Speaker 3: But that was like y'all's game.
- 10:50Speaker 2: So it's okay to play a non conference opponent with
- 10:55Speaker 2: a pulse. It's okay to have one where you recognize
- 10:58Speaker 2: the logo. I think that does you a lot of benefits.
- 11:01Speaker 5: I do you think those cowards Notre Dame had one?
- 11:07Speaker 5: Because they're soft, solid point and they got soft hands.
- 11:12Speaker 5: They have soft hands.
- 11:13Speaker 3: It'll be calloused and credit look credit to Indiana.
- 11:17Speaker 2: I know that the argument could be Indiana did it
- 11:19Speaker 2: last year and they didn't have one of those opponents.
- 11:22Speaker 3: And you're right.
- 11:23Speaker 2: I'm not saying it's in absolutes, but it has been done,
- 11:27Speaker 2: like when you've gone out there and had that kind
- 11:28Speaker 2: of opponent. And look, the fans want to see those games.
- 11:31Speaker 2: Going to an LSU football game, it's a lot not
- 11:36Speaker 2: just money, time and effort, and those people want to
- 11:39Speaker 2: see that. They don't want to leave to beat the traffic.
- 11:41Speaker 2: They want to be in their seats until the final whistle.
- 11:43Speaker 2: So I'm never going to be somebody that says, man,
- 11:46Speaker 2: let's try to skate by with the easiest schedule we
- 11:48Speaker 2: possibly can.
- 11:49Speaker 3: I just think it's disrespectful to the game.
- 11:51Speaker 2: It's disrespectful to the fans and the people that put
- 11:54Speaker 2: their butts in the seats and just the entire process.
- 11:57Speaker 5: When the opportunity is there, when the opportunity is there
- 12:00Speaker 5: to go schedule good games, it is disrep It's disrespectful
- 12:03Speaker 5: to the competitor too. The competitor doesn't want to do it. Yeah,
- 12:09Speaker 5: I got it. Getting the playoffs that's all that matters.
- 12:12Speaker 5: But if you can't beat Clemson, can't beat s MU,
- 12:18Speaker 5: can't beat USC. Yeah, and do you need to.
- 12:24Speaker 3: Be in the playoff You're not a playoff team anyways. Yeah,
- 12:27Speaker 3: So like so you gotta go to.
- 12:28Speaker 5: The playoff because you beat and that one loss, yeah,
- 12:32Speaker 5: and that like let's just say you take that loss.
- 12:34Speaker 3: Of course.
- 12:34Speaker 4: Sure, LSU has had their fair share of bad first games.
- 12:37Speaker 4: I got it.
- 12:38Speaker 5: And that's probably a lot of the determining factor for
- 12:41Speaker 5: some l s U fans that feel differently than us,
- 12:43Speaker 5: And I get it. I respect whatever your opinion is,
- 12:46Speaker 5: not really but that first loss is probably skewed a
- 12:50Speaker 5: lot of opinions. But that first loss that put you out.
- 12:53Speaker 5: Don't lose. Don't lose the Vanderbilt no disrespect, but a
- 13:02Speaker 5: little bit.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Texas also Ohio State okajun kurball, not Michigan.
- 13:09Speaker 3: Michigan played Oklahoma Oklahoma.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Oklahoma got in the playoff because they had the Michigan
- 13:15Speaker 2: win on their resume.
- 13:16Speaker 3: I respect Texas for doing the game though.
- 13:18Speaker 2: Yeah, so you can play that both ways. All right,
- 13:22Speaker 2: we will take a break. Do we want to give

- 18:05Speaker 2: something he's been talking about this morning with Doc Rivers.
- 18:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:10Speaker 10: So you remember when Kurt Signetti when he first got
- 18:14Speaker 10: the Indiana he said, I win Google me and obviously,
- 18:18Speaker 10: I mean he's lost two games in two years there,
- 18:21Speaker 10: including Natty, so he was right, Well, not everybody is
- 18:26Speaker 10: Kurt Signetti, and that includes Doc Rivers. So he's about
- 18:29Speaker 10: to get fired by the Milwaukee Bucks. Like all signs
- 18:32Speaker 10: pointed them moving on from him at the end of
- 18:33Speaker 10: the year. Well, yesterday, Chump Sharani reported that actually, back
- 18:38Speaker 10: on March second, it was a blowout loss at home
- 18:42Speaker 10: to the Chicago Bulls, who were terrible. Doc Rivers went
- 18:46Speaker 10: into the locker room, berated his team and said, basically,
- 18:50Speaker 10: this is on you, guys. He said, look at my
- 18:52Speaker 10: resume and google me. I took the teams to the
- 18:55Speaker 10: playoffs and championships that weren't supposed to be there. I
- 18:59Speaker 10: thought this was one of them. Unfortunately I was wrong. Well,
- 19:04Speaker 10: people have kind of decided to do exactly that and
- 19:08Speaker 10: google Doc Rivers. Anyone, anyone in the room, don't be shy.
- 19:13Speaker 10: Who holds the record as a head coach for blowing
- 19:17Speaker 10: the most three to one series leads in the playoffs?
- 19:19Speaker 4: Anybody doc Rivers?
- 19:24Speaker 6: It is?
- 19:25Speaker 10: Would anybody like to guess the last time doc Rivers
- 19:29Speaker 10: was in a conference championship?
- 19:31Speaker 3: I know this because you said it, so I'm going
- 19:32Speaker 3: to take myself out of it.
- 19:33Speaker 4: I remember.
- 19:35Speaker 10: Thirteen twenty ten. That's sixteen years ago, guys. Doc Rivers
- 19:41Speaker 10: has since been fired after leaving Boston by the LA Clippers,
- 19:46Speaker 10: where he won forty five percent of his games just
- 19:48Speaker 10: over fifty percent with Philly, and his winning percentage in
- 19:51Speaker 10: three years in Milwaukee is twenty seven point three percent.
- 19:56Speaker 10: That's the amount of games that Doc Rivers has won.
- 19:58Speaker 10: And I'm I mean that takes a lot of balls
- 20:01Speaker 10: to go into this locker room a professional athlete. It's
- 20:05Speaker 10: like Giannis is in that locker room. Giannis hasn't won
- 20:07Speaker 10: a championship without you, and you say, google me, this
- 20:10Speaker 10: is on you. Guys like I just I thought that
- 20:13Speaker 10: was very problematic on his part and it's backfired in
- 20:16Speaker 10: a big way.
- 20:17Speaker 5: The Good Doctor also known on his personativot as Glenn
- 20:21Speaker 5: Anton Rivers. I was trying to figure out what Doc
- 20:27Speaker 5: was short for.
- 20:29Speaker 4: Doc.
- 20:29Speaker 5: Rivers received his nickname from former Marquette University assistant coach.
- 20:33Speaker 3: Rick Majeris, Oh Yeah.
- 20:35Speaker 5: During a summer basketball tamp camp in the late nineteen seventies.
- 20:39Speaker 5: As a teenager, Glenn Anton Rivers showed up to the
- 20:42Speaker 5: camp wearing a T shirt featured an NBA legend, Julius
- 20:45Speaker 5: Doctor J Irving, leading to Majeri's jokingly calling him Doc.
- 20:51Speaker 3: That's it, So.
- 20:54Speaker 4: Three just stole the nickname from someone else, base doctor J.
- 20:57Speaker 5: Well, he didn't steal it. It's on a self given nickname,
- 21:00Speaker 5: like you know you can do that. It was given
- 21:03Speaker 5: to him because he had a doctor j.
- 21:05Speaker 10: He hasn't made it out of the second round since
- 21:09Speaker 10: twenty thirteen. Like Matt, I use your buddy three children
- 21:17Speaker 10: at that time played for the Raiders that year.
- 21:19Speaker 3: I was just played for the Broncos.
- 21:20Speaker 10: Matt's peak lost time, I think no, I use your buddy,
- 21:24Speaker 10: chat GPT and typed Doc rivers playoffs. He is noted
- 21:29Speaker 10: for underperforming in the playoffs post twenty twelve, holding a
- 21:32Speaker 10: reputation for blown series leads. Good job, Doc, Yeah, I'm
- 21:36Speaker 10: sure everybody on the team googled you to.
- 21:41Speaker 4: That's too good.
- 21:43Speaker 2: Yeah, because when Signetti said it, like it was true,
- 21:46Speaker 2: like you could google that man and he won everywhere
- 21:48Speaker 2: he had ever been.
- 21:49Speaker 5: Yeah, it was kind of like kind of laughed at
- 21:51Speaker 5: him a little bit, not laughed like haha, laughing at
- 21:54Speaker 5: you laugh.
- 21:55Speaker 3: Oh, that's kind of I thought it was kind of cool.
- 21:57Speaker 3: It's cool, but he's.
- 21:59Speaker 4: Kind of like married talking like that.
- 22:01Speaker 3: Well, when he said it, nobody really his job.
- 22:04Speaker 4: Went on the line.
- 22:04Speaker 3: He just got hired.
- 22:05Speaker 5: He said it a positive way, like Taylor just said
- 22:08Speaker 5: doctor Rivers is probably about to be fired.
- 22:11Speaker 10: Yeah, he's a twenty seven percent winning percentage in Milwaukee
- 22:15Speaker 10: on a.
- 22:15Speaker 5: Team that he's made Johnnas want to leave. When Jonas
- 22:19Speaker 5: loves I call it Jonas because you know, you get it.
- 22:24Speaker 10: They weren't far removed from a championship when he took
- 22:26Speaker 10: that team over.
- 22:28Speaker 3: Dude, you're too much in the card game to make
- 22:30Speaker 3: that mistake.
- 22:30Speaker 4: Okay, how do you say his last name? You can't say?
- 22:34Speaker 3: Onto como? Yeah, how do you get that?
- 22:37Speaker 5: And I said Johns because it starts with the G
- 22:41Speaker 5: like jon Then you asked like if I if I
- 22:44Speaker 5: was really gonna Butcher. I always said Giannis. I nailed
- 22:51Speaker 5: the last name, though.
- 22:52Speaker 7: So I can't say his last name.
- 22:54Speaker 3: So beat it, nerds.
- 22:56Speaker 4: You got onto the compo? You got that right?
- 22:59Speaker 3: Oh?
- 22:59Speaker 5: I know, crushed it, just Jonas. I did have a nice,
- 23:04Speaker 5: you honest card.
- 23:07Speaker 3: What happened sold it? Good for you because typically, like
- 23:13Speaker 3: for American dollars, typically you don't. Let's be honest, like
- 23:16Speaker 3: you have great intentions of doing that. You have like
- 23:19Speaker 3: a museum at.
- 23:20Speaker 4: Your house, a good inventory, You've.
- 23:22Speaker 3: Got great inventory. Just imagine if.
- 23:28Speaker 5: You I'm just I'm not selling the football cards right now,
- 23:31Speaker 5: this is like the inventory.
- 23:33Speaker 4: This is like the lowest market time of the year
- 23:37Speaker 4: true see off season.
- 23:40Speaker 2: It is Yeah, you have one guy make one play
- 23:42Speaker 2: in camp, and yeah, this is like time to.
- 23:45Speaker 10: Buy I mean every sport or just football football, because
- 23:51Speaker 10: it's like there's nothing really happening right now.
- 23:54Speaker 4: You'd be prime for baseball, right there's nothing really.
- 23:56Speaker 5: Happening right now. A lot of the big releases have
- 23:58Speaker 5: already been like ripped into and I think it was
- 24:05Speaker 5: really good in January February because there's a lot of
- 24:07Speaker 5: new releases. So if you got a good.
- 24:09Speaker 4: Hit on the new releases and you sell like you're
- 24:11Speaker 4: the first to market with it. So yeah, it's a.
- 24:14Speaker 3: Little bit low.
- 24:15Speaker 5: So that late summer August certainly will be uh when
- 24:18Speaker 5: it'll start peeking a little bit. Okay, I told you
- 24:24Speaker 5: I was doing some Star Wars cards recently.
- 24:25Speaker 3: Yeah he did.
- 24:26Speaker 4: How does that work? Yeah, like Luke Scott Walkers.
- 24:30Speaker 3: And you got Yeah, they got Car Wars characters. Dude.
- 24:34Speaker 2: One of the biggest things I've had over the last
- 24:35Speaker 2: like month is a Donald Duck Cincinnati Reds card.
- 24:40Speaker 3: Yeah, blue sapphire, like four dollars card. It's crazy Yeah,
- 24:45Speaker 3: that's Ungnald Duck, Donald Duck.
- 24:47Speaker 5: What what team Reds? I had a goofy raise Sapphire's
- 24:54Speaker 5: base Sapphire. I think he's only in this, No, the
- 24:56Speaker 5: head base Sapphire, this guy baseball much.
- 25:02Speaker 3: There is a chance I'm still kind of working the
- 25:05Speaker 3: deal out right now. There's a chance that we have.
- 25:07Speaker 2: A card breaker in here on Friday, in the last
- 25:10Speaker 2: hour with a live break.
- 25:14Speaker 3: No, yeah, yeah, can we do it? Well, yeah, we're
- 25:18Speaker 3: doing it.
- 25:18Speaker 2: He's gonna you know, he's gonna bring the cards and
- 25:20Speaker 2: we're gonna have a conversation while we're doing it. But
- 25:23Speaker 2: Laundra and Taty, if they want to get involved, open
- 25:25Speaker 2: a pack because they're gonna open they're like, who does this?
- 25:27Speaker 3: They're gonna open one. They're gonna be like, oh man,
- 25:29Speaker 3: this is fun, this is exciting.
- 25:34Speaker 7: I do still have it. I'm holding onto that.
- 25:37Speaker 3: Hey, I'm hey, this is dead series. If he wins MVP,
- 25:40Speaker 3: get one of us to.
- 25:42Speaker 7: To sell to sell it, Okay, yeah, for.
- 25:44Speaker 4: Sure, he's gonna'll split it.
- 25:47Speaker 3: No, it's all hers. We'll do it for four fist commission.
- 25:51Speaker 7: No, I'll do it myself. No, I know.
- 25:56Speaker 6: If he wins the m v P like this since
- 25:59Speaker 6: he gave it the Saints or the Saints.
- 26:01Speaker 7: Wow, Freudian slipped there.
- 26:04Speaker 5: Uh.
- 26:04Speaker 6: The Spurs are doing really well this season too.
- 26:07Speaker 7: They hit the sixty win.
- 26:09Speaker 3: Uh, they're really good. I mean, here's the.
- 26:13Speaker 7: Word I'm looking for. Mile marker.
- 26:15Speaker 3: Milestone. Milestone marker's good to hit all the time. Every
- 26:19Speaker 3: mile or so, you go to hit one.
- 26:20Speaker 2: Hey, it's okay, man. You know it's late in the show,
- 26:23Speaker 2: and you know it's a Wednesday, it's hump day.
- 26:25Speaker 3: Look at me.
- 26:27Speaker 7: Hey, the Puffies has gone down.
- 26:29Speaker 3: Thank you going down a little bit. Not for me,
- 26:32Speaker 3: they've gone down a little bit. Hey, I tell you what, though,
- 26:35Speaker 3: I'll tell you what.
- 26:36Speaker 2: Speaking of the NBA, we don't talk about the NBA
- 26:37Speaker 2: because the Pelicans and and you know where they're at.
- 26:39Speaker 2: And I know they're two and eight in their last ten,
- 26:42Speaker 2: but I'll be damn, they're not fighting. I watched the
- 26:45Speaker 2: game last night. They had a bunch of young cats
- 26:47Speaker 2: in there. A lot of the key guys didn't play.
- 26:49Speaker 3: They won again. I get it.
- 26:51Speaker 2: That's why we don't talk a lot about it. You
- 26:52Speaker 2: don't want to. They're twenty six and fifty four. I
- 26:55Speaker 2: understand that we're still getting minutes ota Zion, but they
- 26:58Speaker 2: are fighting.
- 27:00Speaker 4: Ye, no shot.
- 27:02Speaker 3: This was his best year.
- 27:03Speaker 2: Beat the Jazz one fifty six to one thirty seven.
- 27:05Speaker 2: If you want to be entertained at a basketball game,
- 27:09Speaker 2: that's not a bad one to go too.
- 27:10Speaker 10: Well, your rookie scored forty points last night too. Jeremiah
- 27:13Speaker 10: Fears had a hell of a game he did.
- 27:15Speaker 4: That's fun.
- 27:16Speaker 3: I enjoyed it. I don't like a dabble. Do you
- 27:20Speaker 3: think they practiced defense?
- 27:23Speaker 2: Well, Herb Jones is out, He's certainly the one that
- 27:25Speaker 2: would practice. I mean, but Jordan Hawkins had twenty five,
- 27:29Speaker 2: Fears had forty.
- 27:31Speaker 3: I don't know. Jordan Poole had thirty four. That was fun, Matt.
- 27:36Speaker 10: To your earlier question, Zion Williams in stat line, he
- 27:40Speaker 10: was a did not play coaches decision.
- 27:43Speaker 3: Well, they said Herb Zion.
- 27:45Speaker 5: But Zion had like, let's not they hit him too,
- 27:48Speaker 5: too bad. He's played a lot. Yeah, set record here
- 27:50Speaker 5: for himself. He hit all his incentives because of it.
- 27:54Speaker 10: So so he hit his hit his incentives and now
- 27:56Speaker 10: he's he's not playing well.
- 27:58Speaker 3: The coach set like eaches. Yeah, the Zion decision.
- 28:02Speaker 2: Yeah, like no real starters played in this game, like
- 28:05Speaker 2: there was a it was kind of the point of it.
- 28:07Speaker 2: Derek Queen had seventeen seventeen seventeen points. I think you
- 28:12Speaker 2: had seven assists, twelve rebounds, so almost had a triple double.
- 28:17Speaker 2: Just pointed out obviously we won't talk a lot of
- 28:19Speaker 2: pells because of where they're at right now, but hopefully
- 28:21Speaker 2: one day maybe kind of sort of they'll be good
- 28:23Speaker 2: enough to talk about every day.
- 28:24Speaker 3: Would love that having the chat.
- 28:28Speaker 5: Says for Friday, if the breaker comes in, does a
- 28:30Speaker 5: card break on the show?
- 28:31Speaker 3: Can we buy spots in the break? I'm assuming you can.
- 28:35Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 28:36Speaker 2: Look, we're working it all out, Okay, I wanted to
- 28:39Speaker 2: be a part.
- 28:40Speaker 3: I just heard this because Matt and I are obviously
- 28:43Speaker 3: really into it.
- 28:44Speaker 2: There's a lot of people that are into it, and
- 28:47Speaker 2: we're gonna see if we can work with somebody that
- 28:50Speaker 2: they maybe come in once a month and we just
- 28:52Speaker 2: kind of open cards talk about them again. A Friday
- 28:55Speaker 2: deal kind of into the show good vibe, send you
- 28:58Speaker 2: into the weekend.
- 28:59Speaker 3: So we're kind of working through all of.
- 29:00Speaker 2: That right now, and we'll let you know, let's know,
- 29:03Speaker 2: like who what went and where whenever it does happen.
- 29:07Speaker 3: So all right, we gotta take a break.
- 29:09Speaker 2: We'll take that break now more OTB when we come
- 29:11Speaker 2: back here live from the.
- 29:12Speaker 3: Raisin King Studio.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Off the bench.
- 29:16Speaker 3: I don't like when you laugh.
- 29:17Speaker 2: Right before we're about to tell people about a great
- 29:19Speaker 2: company like Pelican roof.
- 29:21Speaker 3: Pelican Roofing is the company.
- 29:22Speaker 2: Pelicanroof dot com is the website in Lafayette, MBAT and

- 29:54Speaker 2: also what the community means to them, to everybody in
- 29:58Speaker 2: that business. So go to Pelican roof dot com today,

- 31:33Speaker 3: see if you listen to me.
- 31:34Speaker 4: Uh oh, twenty eight, God.
- 31:38Speaker 3: Twenty eight. We haven't even gotten there yet.
- 31:41Speaker 4: You said, how many years?
- 31:43Speaker 3: Oh? How many years? Close?
- 31:45Speaker 4: Is shoot?
- 31:45Speaker 2: Thousand the four ago? That's my freshman year. That's why
- 31:49Speaker 2: it always six in my mind. That's a long time ago, coach,
- 31:52Speaker 2: A long time ago. You don't stay in the business
- 31:56Speaker 2: that long unless you're doing everything the right way.
- 31:58Speaker 3: Right. That's what Brandon Barton and team are.
- 32:00Speaker 2: I want to do inside outside sometimes both like they've
- 32:02Speaker 2: done for me, blinds shades, shutters, outdoor motorae screens that well,
- 32:08Speaker 2: they shave the outdoor patio, but also the living room.
- 32:10Speaker 2: That can't be true. Yeah, it is true for us,
- 32:13Speaker 2: It'll be true for you as well. Ktoz Blinds dot com.
- 32:16Speaker 2: Ktoz blinds dot com. All right, any time there is
- 32:20Speaker 2: a story that needs a little investigating, a little investigating reporting,
- 32:25Speaker 2: we always go to a Landra blank space Vila real. Yeah,
- 32:28Speaker 2: and there is a NFL head coach that I don't
- 32:31Speaker 2: know might be in some muddy waters.
- 32:34Speaker 6: So this actually kind of cracks me up a little
- 32:36Speaker 6: bit because they're just caught in four K, you know,
- 32:39Speaker 6: like just straight out there. And I'm gonna try to
- 32:42Speaker 6: do this while I'm trying to get all these games together.
- 32:44Speaker 6: This is proving to be more tedious than I thought
- 32:47Speaker 6: it was going to be to do a wheel, but
- 32:50Speaker 6: we're gonna do it, guys. I'm trying to get all
- 32:51Speaker 6: y'all's names on a wheel so that we can pick
- 32:54Speaker 6: a winner for our Hondo Rodeo tickets. But Mike Rabel
- 33:00Speaker 6: and Diana Diana Russini, they were seen pool side vibin h.
- 33:07Speaker 7: Taylor might have some pictures pulled up.
- 33:09Speaker 6: Okay, so Taylor has a picture pulled up and and
- 33:12Speaker 6: this one they're holding hands.
- 33:15Speaker 3: Yeah, but I mean.
- 33:16Speaker 6: Like holding hands you can say like, oh, you're just
- 33:19Speaker 6: greeting somebody, like, oh, it's so good to see you.
- 33:22Speaker 7: Like, ah, I don't know if I've ever.
- 33:27Speaker 6: I don't know if I've ever greeted somebody this way,
- 33:30Speaker 6: especially somebody that I'm yeah right, Like they're like.
- 33:34Speaker 7: They're a little they're a little interlocked.
- 33:37Speaker 5: It looks that's not like a greeting hand thing. That
- 33:40Speaker 5: is both people are going palms down, finger locked. Yeah,
- 33:44Speaker 5: Like somebody's got the hands up, somebody's got the hands down.
- 33:47Speaker 7: They're like yeah yeah.
- 33:49Speaker 6: And I feel like interlocking is if you're interlocking hands, Yeah,
- 33:54Speaker 6: that's a little intimate.
- 33:55Speaker 7: I feel like.
- 33:57Speaker 4: That's like the skin contact you can have.
- 34:00Speaker 7: That's a lot of skin to skin.
- 34:01Speaker 6: Yeah, And then they are a chillin pool side.
- 34:06Speaker 7: I think Taylor is gonna pull up a picture of
- 34:08Speaker 7: that one. They're chilling pool.
- 34:09Speaker 6: Side, just vibing, and then sitting next to each other vibin.
- 34:15Speaker 6: Mind you, Mike Rabel looks like he ain't got a
- 34:17Speaker 6: care in the world, Like, look at him, ham behind
- 34:21Speaker 6: his head laid out. Him and Diana Russini just chilling
- 34:25Speaker 6: together by themselves. I don't see anybody else near them.
- 34:29Speaker 6: And then if you look on the top right corner,
- 34:31Speaker 6: they are also embracing, which is normal. I feel like embrace,
- 34:35Speaker 6: like you hug people. It's fine, but it all looks
- 34:41Speaker 6: a little questionable. People were like, what is going on?
- 34:43Speaker 6: They look a little comfy together, and they actually responded
- 34:48Speaker 6: to it. This morning, Mike Rabel said these photos show
- 34:52Speaker 6: a completely innocent interaction and any suggestion otherwise is laughable.
- 34:57Speaker 6: This doesn't deserve any further response. Russini also said something.
- 35:01Speaker 6: She said, the photos don't represent the group of six
- 35:03Speaker 6: people who are hanging out during the day. Like most
- 35:06Speaker 6: journalists in the NFL, reporters interact with sources away from
