- 0:59Speaker 3: How about that?
- 0:59Speaker 4: Goeing.
- 1:00Speaker 5: Miami's way too far from me?
- 1:01Speaker 1: Really, yeah, I'm here because Miami's way too far.
- 1:05Speaker 6: He got us next to Jeter in a booth.
- 1:07Speaker 3: I do I do? I do?
- 1:09Speaker 1: I mean, let's take advantage of this Fox relationship that.
- 1:11Speaker 5: We have poor Aiden holloway Man. That's the guy from Alabama.
- 1:16Speaker 7: He's been arrested on felony drug charges. Yeah, he had
- 1:20Speaker 7: a pound of weed on him. Clearly he was just
- 1:23Speaker 7: trying to, you know, buy in bulk and save some
- 1:26Speaker 7: money and be cost of fishing over here. Now he
- 1:28Speaker 7: might have a felony charge, right, I.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Mean, who amongst us doesn't have a pound of weed
- 1:32Speaker 1: just laying around, well, most of us.
- 1:36Speaker 5: What a pound is a lot, man.
- 1:40Speaker 1: So I am nervous because I'm doing the weekend observations.
- 1:43Speaker 1: By the way Taylor put it on the pole, did
- 1:44Speaker 1: you know fad Mada was still coaching.
- 1:47Speaker 5: I always assumed he's coaching somewhere.
- 1:49Speaker 1: I had no idea he was still coaching until Dan
- 1:52Speaker 1: Byer just told us that he quit.
- 1:53Speaker 5: Didn't seem like they're retiring type.
- 1:55Speaker 1: I am nervous here because I'm doing the we ken observations,
- 1:58Speaker 1: not because I'm doing.
- 1:59Speaker 3: A live on I've done them live on the air
- 2:01Speaker 3: a million times. But this is bored up.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Ricardo's first time handling the beeps the sound effects that
- 2:07Speaker 1: go with this. And I'm also not certain if anyone
- 2:10Speaker 1: asked Dan Buyer to stick around, because I need to
- 2:13Speaker 1: do the weekend observations for Dan. Dan, has anyone asked you?
- 2:17Speaker 1: And you should probably renegotiate your contract right now.
- 2:19Speaker 8: Oh yeah, no, that one Taylor and I were good
- 2:21Speaker 8: on Mount Rushmore. This is news to me. That was
- 2:24Speaker 8: just Dan.
- 2:25Speaker 9: Dan.
- 2:25Speaker 7: Let me let me just let you know how this works.
- 2:28Speaker 7: Your name just has to be Dan. You don't have
- 2:30Speaker 7: to say or do anything.
- 2:31Speaker 1: I might throw it to you to guess something, but
- 2:33Speaker 1: it's up to you whether or not you want to respond.
- 2:35Speaker 1: You got it ready to go? He seems thrill more
- 2:42Speaker 1: importantly bored up, Ricardo. Are you ready to go?
- 2:45Speaker 9: Oh?
- 2:45Speaker 3: I'm ready to go.
- 2:46Speaker 6: I've been preparing this my whole life.
- 2:48Speaker 3: Yeah. Okay, let's not botch it. Okay, no pressure though,
- 2:51Speaker 3: give me the image. Go ahead, Dan Buyer.
- 3:04Speaker 1: It's time picking games based on which mascot you like better.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Reading up on the small schools you didn't watch play
- 3:13Speaker 1: a second of basketball to gain some sort of advantage,
- 3:18Speaker 1: having all four to one seeds in the final four,
- 3:22Speaker 1: and then panic changing it at the very last seconds
- 3:26Speaker 1: the five versus twelve matchup finding this year's Cinderella. Get
- 3:32Speaker 1: your pens and pencil ready, because Dan Buyer just like that.
- 3:40Speaker 3: Make no mistake about it.
- 3:42Speaker 1: That feeling of filling out a brackets is back.
- 3:48Speaker 5: All right so far Ricardo about an eight out of
- 3:50Speaker 5: ten keep up all right?
- 3:51Speaker 1: Not bid bit Dan, ten out of ten love it
- 3:55Speaker 1: speaking of back umbc back in the torn In, out
- 4:01Speaker 1: of the American East Conference, the Retrievers, Golden Mark DeRosa
- 4:08Speaker 1: not knowing the rules yet still making it to the
- 4:11Speaker 1: World Baseball Classic Championship. Game Mark, the stugatts is strong
- 4:17Speaker 1: in you Classic, Dan.
- 4:20Speaker 3: You know what the m and McK cronin stands for.
- 4:23Speaker 8: What's up?
- 4:24Speaker 3: It stands for March.
- 4:27Speaker 5: You can put in a guess anytime you want, Dan.
- 4:29Speaker 5: You don't just have to. It's not like a knock
- 4:31Speaker 5: knock joke.
- 4:33Speaker 1: If you haven't printed out a bracket and filled it
- 4:36Speaker 1: out with a pen or a pencil, guess what, Dan,
- 4:40Speaker 1: you suck?
- 4:42Speaker 3: You haven't filled out a bracket.
- 4:45Speaker 5: Not a terrible guess.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Oh God.
- 4:47Speaker 1: The MLB should replace its regular season with more World
- 4:51Speaker 1: Baseball Classic.
- 4:53Speaker 3: They should put it on the Paul Taylor that.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Ken Rosenthal look like a toddler standing next to Paul Skens.
- 5:04Speaker 1: You know is he They don't call him Ken Rosenthall.
- 5:13Speaker 1: That's funny, But why would it toss to me?
- 5:16Speaker 3: He doesn't seem interested.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Gunner Henderson entering that game seven for nine lifetime against
- 5:25Speaker 1: Luis Cerevino before hitting a home run, Dan, you know
- 5:30Speaker 1: what Gunner Henderson had?
- 5:32Speaker 8: What's that stud?
- 5:33Speaker 3: He had? Serevino's number? How about that tomato?
- 5:40Speaker 9: Tomato?
- 5:42Speaker 7: I don't know if it was my place, it's always
- 5:46Speaker 7: your place.
- 5:48Speaker 1: You would think after a certain point teams would learn
- 5:52Speaker 1: to stop running on Aaron Judge. You know what for
- 5:55Speaker 1: Fernando tatist Junior? Did he learned the hard way?
- 6:01Speaker 3: He did?
- 6:03Speaker 7: Yeah, I know that was confusing, Dan, because he didn't
- 6:04Speaker 7: say your name when he asked a question.
- 6:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:06Speaker 8: He was also quick as there. Yeah, I thought there
- 6:09Speaker 8: was a pregnant pause somewhere along.
- 6:10Speaker 1: The way that the Paul Skean's the rare pitcher whose
- 6:15Speaker 1: biggest start.
- 6:16Speaker 3: All year will be in March.
- 6:23Speaker 7: You think he thought about that, this is gonna be
- 6:25Speaker 7: the biggest start I have all year.
- 6:27Speaker 3: I do.
- 6:27Speaker 6: Actually that was his game seven.
- 6:32Speaker 1: When Mark DeRosa took the ball from Paul Skeens, he
- 6:36Speaker 1: should have thanked him for his service.
- 6:40Speaker 3: Put it on the pole, Taylor.
- 6:41Speaker 1: When Mark DeRosa took the ball from Skians. Should he
- 6:44Speaker 1: thanked him for his service? Tik Schooble has no business
- 6:49Speaker 1: being in that dugout now that it's Trek Schooble whatever
- 6:54Speaker 1: to read Trek. You know what the tea and trek
- 6:57Speaker 1: stands for, right, Dan?
- 6:58Speaker 6: Absolutely, somebody's going to Tomato.
- 7:05Speaker 1: David Bednar pitch is better when his back is against
- 7:09Speaker 1: the wall.
- 7:10Speaker 3: You know what the bee and Bednar stands for.
- 7:12Speaker 8: Dan Bednar?
- 7:15Speaker 3: It Ah, good, guess I see why you would have
- 7:18Speaker 3: gone there, But no, it stands for balls.
- 7:21Speaker 5: Yes, let's see how I got set up there, Dan?
- 7:23Speaker 10: And that?
- 7:23Speaker 8: Yeah, and that of the strikes variety.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Yes, if the World Baseball Classic taught me anything it's
- 7:30Speaker 1: that we need to get Junior Caminaro out of Tampa
- 7:34Speaker 1: Bay and onto a contender. Well, Taylor wrote that, and
- 7:39Speaker 1: I'm telling you right now he thinks he wants to
- 7:41Speaker 1: make him a Yankee, and he's not gonna be a Yankee.
- 7:42Speaker 3: He's gonna be a Dodger.
- 7:43Speaker 5: It sounds like a Yankee name, Junior Caminaro.
- 7:45Speaker 3: Yes, well, it.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Sounds like a Dodger name too. All the names sound
- 7:49Speaker 1: like Dodger names, don't they. Yeah, Junior Caminaro is bat
- 7:55Speaker 1: Toss went further than any Jets passed.
- 7:58Speaker 8: This season, timely with Justin Fields.
- 8:05Speaker 3: Us a d R.
- 8:08Speaker 1: The rare semi final World Baseball Classic game that felt
- 8:12Speaker 1: like a final.
- 8:13Speaker 7: You see Dan trying to bring it back to his
- 8:14Speaker 7: update there with Justin Fields nugget.
- 8:16Speaker 5: Yes, I do good work there.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Dan Fran McCaffrey is coaching at Penn. Who knew? And
- 8:24Speaker 3: he's got him dancing the Quakers March.

- 8:35Speaker 1: Bruce Pearl downgrade.
- 8:39Speaker 6: Ouch, it's true, thank you do we.
- 8:43Speaker 3: Work with a member of the Pearl family.
- 8:45Speaker 9: I have no idea. I hope that.

- 9:10Speaker 8: that's the that's the rub of it Cross conto.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Rick doesn't like the daylight, the sunshine. He can, he's
- 9:16Speaker 1: not allowed to go outside.
- 9:19Speaker 7: He's a vampire. Dan, I don't know if that's a joke.
- 9:21Speaker 7: You're familiar with. But he's a vampire.
- 9:23Speaker 8: Are there are Italian restaurants in San Diego?
- 9:26Speaker 5: He only needs it for a couple.
- 9:30Speaker 3: He'll be real quick in and out fast food.

- 9:44Speaker 1: Selth go ahead, Circle its.
- 9:49Speaker 9: Big game.
- 9:50Speaker 1: If they get to it, make sure it's at night.
- 9:54Speaker 1: USA Baseball do it against Italy.
- 9:58Speaker 5: Powerhouse. Those Italians, they really are Italy's reliever.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Greg Weissert is the Marianna Rivera of the World Baseball Classic,
- 10:09Speaker 1: And somehow Marianna Rivera sounds more Italian than Greg Weissert.
- 10:23Speaker 3: I refuse to believe this.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Many people actually care about Miami of Ohio, strength of schedule,
- 10:31Speaker 1: they had to get in. Man, when they're in one
- 10:34Speaker 1: of the talks of the year. I have them gone
- 10:35Speaker 1: to the final four with Nebraska.
- 10:38Speaker 3: Yes, it's going to be a terrible final four.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Death taxes and Oklahoma basketball in the first four out
- 10:50Speaker 1: on selection Sunday.
- 10:52Speaker 5: Is that their thing?
- 10:53Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like three straight years.
- 10:57Speaker 8: As well.
- 10:58Speaker 3: Yeah, you're right, is he your boy? Ludwig Oberg?
- 11:03Speaker 7: No, Man, I was so, I was like, okay, I
- 11:08Speaker 7: finally figured out and just make it sound like a No,
- 11:10Speaker 7: I've got that one figured out. And then somebody who's like,
- 11:13Speaker 7: I don't know what his name was, like herb Jorn
- 11:16Speaker 7: jen Binson was on there. I was like, oh my god,
- 11:18Speaker 7: please don't win this tournament, man, let's go Cam Young.
- 11:20Speaker 3: Yeah.

- 11:30Speaker 1: like Ludwig.
- 11:32Speaker 3: Oh boy, what a joke job.
- 11:38Speaker 9: Is he?
- 11:38Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 11:39Speaker 1: That little symbol in Oberg's name that you're terrified of,
- 11:42Speaker 1: you know what it stands for?
- 11:44Speaker 5: How many wins?
- 11:44Speaker 6: He?
- 11:44Speaker 3: It stands for choke job.
- 11:48Speaker 1: The five hundred loudest moments in Marlin's Park history have
- 11:52Speaker 1: all been in the World Baseball classes.
- 11:55Speaker 5: Not a Marlin amongst.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Them, USA beating Canada. So when it's fifth straight Paralympic
- 12:04Speaker 1: sled hockey gold medal, seated rivalry.
- 12:08Speaker 7: I just saw that Instagram post and I didn't know
- 12:11Speaker 7: what to think. I was like, am I supposed to
- 12:13Speaker 7: laugh at this? Am I supposed to be offended by this?
- 12:15Speaker 7: And I'm like, everybody's.
- 12:16Speaker 5: Cool, all right? Cool seated ribber I.
- 12:18Speaker 3: Like La Lakers getting hot at the right time.
- 12:24Speaker 7: Well, I could give you a million guesses. I don't
- 12:25Speaker 7: think you could guess the hottest team in the NBA
- 12:28Speaker 7: right now by win streak no longer than Hornets. No, Well,
- 12:33Speaker 7: I could give you thirty guesses and you'd probably get it.
- 12:36Speaker 8: Would have to right.
- 12:39Speaker 7: It was the Atlanta Hawks. Get out of you, the
- 12:42Speaker 7: Cardivorodulate in nine game win streak. I've ever seen a yeah,
- 12:45Speaker 7: well he's.
- 12:46Speaker 3: A basketball players looking at the standings. Just big team
- 12:48Speaker 3: with the longest win streak.
- 12:50Speaker 7: They beat one winning team and one team with a
- 12:53Speaker 7: winning record in that streak, and that was the Sixers
- 12:55Speaker 7: without em.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Beat Arizona finally winning its first Big twelve time since
- 13:00Speaker 1: joining the conference.
- 13:03Speaker 3: You know what they were, Dan, what's that stud they were?
- 13:07Speaker 7: Come on, man, even a rookie gets that one.
- 13:11Speaker 3: John Calipari still got it, Still.
- 13:16Speaker 8: Got it, He's got it. Jesus, it is stereous.
- 13:20Speaker 9: Yes, so good.
- 13:21Speaker 7: All March might be the best Calipari guard that's ever
- 13:24Speaker 7: played in college.
- 13:25Speaker 5: That's saying a lot.
- 13:27Speaker 6: Hey, here comes the prisoner of the moment.
- 13:30Speaker 5: He's pretty darn good.
- 13:31Speaker 1: I mean he coacheding pretty good guards, didn't uh, John Wall, Yes,
- 13:35Speaker 1: Derek Rose, didn't he coach Derek he did.
- 13:37Speaker 6: He did, he said Kentucky.
- 13:39Speaker 5: No, maybe I didn't, I said, calimb Pari.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Guard I'm ready to call it John Calipari won the
- 13:48Speaker 1: divorce with Kentucky.
- 13:52Speaker 3: He did, He definitely did.
- 13:53Speaker 9: He did.
- 13:54Speaker 1: When Dayton hit a buzzer beater against Saint Louis, I
- 13:58Speaker 1: turned to Abbey, had said, March.
- 14:01Speaker 3: She said what, And I just said never mind?
- 14:06Speaker 7: She said, why am I sitting on the couch with
- 14:08Speaker 7: you watching Saint Louis play basketball?
- 14:09Speaker 3: What is happening?
- 14:10Speaker 1: I mean, Abby's got so many brackets filled out, she
- 14:12Speaker 1: has no idea.
- 14:14Speaker 6: She got the.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Gators in her main one, right, Yeah, she has the Gators.
- 14:17Speaker 1: She also likes Nebraska, she does. She likes Nebraska to
- 14:20Speaker 1: advance of the Final four. That game hell of a finish.
- 14:26Speaker 5: I forget which game we're talking about, before you get.
- 14:29Speaker 3: To the clothes, the Flyers and the Billikins. Yeah no.
- 14:32Speaker 1: When you turned to Abby, right, yeah, hell of a finish, Yeah,
- 14:35Speaker 1: I said, March, she said, what.
- 14:36Speaker 8: Kream abdul jabbar three?
- 14:41Speaker 3: That game hell of a finish?
- 14:43Speaker 1: Speaking of Hell or Briles, Dan, those are the weak
- 14:49Speaker 1: can observations loved it.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Be sure to catch live editions of Stu Gotson Company
- 14:57Speaker 2: Live Weekday, you said, three pm Eastern twelve pm Pacific
- 15:00Speaker 2: on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio AIPP.
- 15:05Speaker 7: Stu, I finally get to talk basketball with a qualified
- 15:09Speaker 7: human being beyond qualified. Tracy McGrady, hall of Famer, is
- 15:13Speaker 7: the analyst on NBA on NBC, and he's coming to
- 15:17Speaker 7: us courtesy of the Ones Basketball League, which he founded.
- 15:20Speaker 5: T mac, thank you so much for joining us. Man,
- 15:23Speaker 5: how you been?
- 15:24Speaker 4: I'm good, guys. How y'all doing easy?
- 15:26Speaker 9: What up? Brother?
- 15:27Speaker 7: I'm good man, I'm good. Missing the days of the jump,
- 15:30Speaker 7: But hey, really quick, tell me about the Ones Basketball
- 15:32Speaker 7: leaguecause there's a lot of people doing some really cool
- 15:35Speaker 7: stuff with basketball, whether it be like high school, whether
- 15:38Speaker 7: it be prep schools, whether it be anything else.
- 15:40Speaker 5: But One's Basketball League sounds pretty.
- 15:41Speaker 4: Cool, yes, sir, so. I started it back in twenty two,
- 15:46Speaker 4: just trying to proof the concept season. I got some
- 15:48Speaker 4: great feedback from that, went on a capitol run, raise
- 15:54Speaker 4: some money over the years, and I have a great
- 15:58Speaker 4: partner that saw my vision on what I was trying
- 16:00Speaker 4: to build. He comes from, you know, alternative leagues of
- 16:05Speaker 4: sports and you know, being successful in that. Starting a
- 16:09Speaker 4: VP volleyball as a team in the Big Three of
- 16:14Speaker 4: ice QB League, and you know saw what I was doing,
- 16:20Speaker 4: which is this company is called next Gen Sports, and
- 16:24Speaker 4: they saw my vision. So here we are created eight teams.
- 16:29Speaker 4: And what I felt like basketball needed was for cities
- 16:35Speaker 4: to actually be able to rally around home grown players
- 16:39Speaker 4: from that city and with one on one being you know,
- 16:44Speaker 4: if you look on social media, I mean there's a
- 16:46Speaker 4: lot of one on one basketball being played around the country,
- 16:50Speaker 4: and I felt like I want to add that that
- 16:53Speaker 4: component to where the player is from that city and
- 16:57Speaker 4: he's getting it back in and the support of a
- 17:00Speaker 4: community that he comes from, and we're getting great feedback
- 17:04Speaker 4: from that. The communities are loving it. We got some
- 17:07Speaker 4: great talent. And what I also wanted to do is
- 17:11Speaker 4: give ownership to guys that are from that respective cities.
- 17:16Speaker 4: Guys like you know Jadakiss, who's a hip hop artist,
- 17:20Speaker 4: well known. He's from New York City, obviously younkers. I
- 17:25Speaker 4: gave him the New York team. Vince Carter and my
- 17:28Speaker 4: cousin had the Orlando team. Lorenz Tate, a big time
- 17:33Speaker 4: actor out of Chicago. My brother got him to Chicago team.
- 17:37Speaker 4: Tim Hardaway senior had the Miami team, So I'm spreading
- 17:42Speaker 4: this around. I got my brother John Wall with his
- 17:44Speaker 4: Raleigh from Raleigh, got his team in there. And these
- 17:47Speaker 4: guys are really excited about, you know, bringing that energy,
- 17:51Speaker 4: that passion of basketball in one on one to their
- 17:54Speaker 4: respective communities and here we are, Well.
- 17:57Speaker 7: One on one is crazy entertaining anyway, but I just
- 17:59Speaker 7: love the idea of getting to know the young kids
- 18:02Speaker 7: in their hometown before they blow up, whether it be
- 18:05Speaker 7: in college or somewhere else.
- 18:06Speaker 5: So that that's pretty dope. Yes, sir, I don't know
- 18:10Speaker 5: how much if I'm sorry, ahead.
- 18:13Speaker 4: No, that was that that was the goal, you know.
- 18:15Speaker 4: I think it's important that you know, some of these
- 18:18Speaker 4: guys don't have the luxury of the opportunity to play
- 18:22Speaker 4: professional basketball. So I once create a platform to where
- 18:25Speaker 4: they felt like they're pro in this space. And I believe,
- 18:29Speaker 4: you know, being one on one and being an elite
- 18:33Speaker 4: at that we can make you a pro. It's not
- 18:35Speaker 4: about you know where you are, it's the platform you
- 18:39Speaker 4: on and what who you are affiliated, what you're competing against,
- 18:43Speaker 4: and that's the top one on one players in the country.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Team Mac, how many times did you invince Carter play
- 18:49Speaker 1: one on one because I would pay money even today
- 18:52Speaker 1: watching YouTube just go one on one.
- 18:55Speaker 4: You know what, coach coach Carter. But Carter had us
- 18:58Speaker 4: on the same team all the time, like we He
- 19:00Speaker 4: never played one on one at all. He always has
- 19:04Speaker 4: kept on in the same team.
- 19:06Speaker 3: Right, That seems unfair. I gotta be honest.
- 19:08Speaker 5: What looked like in each of your primes?
- 19:12Speaker 4: In our prime? Yeah, I'm six nine, cousin sixty five,
- 19:17Speaker 4: sixty six, I got I'm just as quick as he is.
- 19:21Speaker 4: I'm longer. I shoot the ball. Well, I mean.
- 19:25Speaker 9: Yeah, right right, that's what I do.
- 19:31Speaker 3: What would Vince's answer be to that question?
- 19:33Speaker 9: I mean, I will hope he would say he will
- 19:36Speaker 9: be me. I would hope.
- 19:39Speaker 4: So I don't expect anything else, Tam.
- 19:44Speaker 7: The three teams you're most associated with when you're playing
- 19:46Speaker 7: days all seem to be pretty interesting this year, the Raptors, Magic,
- 19:49Speaker 7: and the Rockets. But I'm I'm locked in on the Rockets,
- 19:52Speaker 7: not just because of Men Thompson's my favorite player in
- 19:54Speaker 7: the league, but because it's interesting to see the dynamics there.
- 19:57Speaker 7: To me, I think they're in a little bit of
- 19:59Speaker 7: trouble with email. I don't know if he's the right
- 20:01Speaker 7: coach for this group. I feel like his offense might
- 20:04Speaker 7: be a little outdated, and it really showed late in
- 20:07Speaker 7: that Lakers game the other night. What do you think
- 20:09Speaker 7: of the Rockets and the fit with that with e
- 20:12Speaker 7: May and and you know the offense around Kevin Durant.
- 20:15Speaker 4: So the Rockets are and what third spot right now?
- 20:18Speaker 9: Four?
- 20:18Speaker 5: Yeah, they're covering around third and fourth, three or.
- 20:20Speaker 9: Four, third and fourth.
- 20:21Speaker 4: And you just said you don't know if e May
- 20:24Speaker 4: is the right coach when they were second last year
- 20:26Speaker 4: without Katie.
- 20:28Speaker 5: Yeah, I know, sounds crazy, but it's just the offense.
- 20:30Speaker 7: To me, Trace, I just don't let me ask you.
- 20:34Speaker 4: Let me ask you this. Did you did you have
- 20:39Speaker 4: reservations and questions about the offense last year?
- 20:44Speaker 7: Well, no, I didn't because I thought they were doing
- 20:47Speaker 7: the best of what they had. I thought they were limited.
- 20:49Speaker 7: They didn't really have a close yet. But when things
- 20:51Speaker 7: were flowing all right, you know, going through Shanghu, I
- 20:53Speaker 7: thought they were pretty solid.
- 20:55Speaker 9: Right.
- 20:55Speaker 4: So this year they add Kevin Durant and the offense
- 21:00Speaker 4: is stagnant. They don't have a point guard, which you know,
- 21:06Speaker 4: I think if they had Fred we wouldn't be seeing
- 21:09Speaker 4: what we're seeing now. And I'm gonna tell you what
- 21:11Speaker 4: you're seeing. This is the problem that I've been having
- 21:16Speaker 4: the last few years with Katie and his teams. Katie
- 21:20Speaker 4: is such a great offensive player, can create space one
- 21:25Speaker 4: on one, no one can touch him. He's get a
- 21:27Speaker 4: shot off and he's gonna hit that. But when it
- 21:30Speaker 4: becomes a problem on his teams, when he stopped trusting
- 21:34Speaker 4: his teammates and now he goes and gets the ball
- 21:38Speaker 4: and tries to bring it up and be the point guard.
- 21:41Speaker 4: And that's never gonna work because that's not who Katie is.
- 21:45Speaker 4: And that's why their offense against the Lakers the other night.
- 21:48Speaker 4: You saw that fourth quarter. It was so stagnant and
- 21:52Speaker 4: Katie is trying to run picking rolls at the half
- 21:56Speaker 4: court line. They're double team in you. You're passing it
- 21:59Speaker 4: to some one that is not a playmaker. And that's
- 22:03Speaker 4: what in a result the Lakers, Right, they just disrupted
- 22:07Speaker 4: your whole offense. He can't play like that, and that's
- 22:10Speaker 4: how he's been playing. And that that I will give
- 22:13Speaker 4: you and say that is on Emay. I don't think
- 22:16Speaker 4: it's the offense. I think it's there out of positioning,
- 22:19Speaker 4: and Katie is not trusting his teammates, So in that sense,
- 22:22Speaker 4: he's going to get in the ball and trying to
- 22:24Speaker 4: do it hisself, and that's never gonna work.
- 22:25Speaker 7: Yeah, because I remember early in the year that KD
- 22:28Speaker 7: would tell the guy, no, you go like to stop
- 22:30Speaker 7: forcing me the ball, you go and get yours, And
- 22:33Speaker 7: eventually they got a little bit of confidence and so
- 22:35Speaker 7: but now it feels like they're regressing back into Hey,
- 22:37Speaker 7: we got to get Katie the ball every time, and
- 22:39Speaker 7: it just feels really easy to defend.
- 22:41Speaker 4: That's exactly what it is. And that's that's why I
- 22:44Speaker 4: have my hesitation on Houston doing anything because if they're
- 22:47Speaker 4: going to play like they played the other night, that
- 22:49Speaker 4: is so easy to defend and they're gonna lose.
- 22:52Speaker 11: Hey, t Mac, this is Taylor. You're my favorite player
- 22:54Speaker 11: growing up. I think what is he just did to
- 22:57Speaker 11: you was a disservice when he mentioned the team's your
- 22:59Speaker 11: most associate because I'm a Knicks fan and your debut.
- 23:04Speaker 4: No, bro, stop it.
- 23:07Speaker 5: You just want to talk about your debut?
- 23:09Speaker 4: It well, stop it, stop it, stop it.
- 23:14Speaker 1: He wanted to ask you what you remember most about
- 23:16Speaker 1: your stint with the next, that's.
- 23:17Speaker 4: All the Oh man, stop it, Man, stop it. I
- 23:21Speaker 4: just wish I was I wish I was healthy. When
- 23:23Speaker 4: I went to the Knicks. I just wasn't, man, because
- 23:26Speaker 4: you just don't understand how I love. Everyone loves playing
- 23:30Speaker 4: in the Garden, but to be playing in there every
- 23:32Speaker 4: single night for a home game.
- 23:33Speaker 9: Oh my god.
- 23:34Speaker 4: I just couldn't give them what I wanted to give
- 23:37Speaker 4: them because I was injured.
- 23:39Speaker 11: So I was just going to say, before this recent
- 23:41Speaker 11: Jalen Brunton run, your debut where you scored twenty six
- 23:45Speaker 11: points in that in that overtime game against the Thunder
- 23:48Speaker 11: one of my favorite basketball experiences since I was such
- 23:51Speaker 11: a t MAAC fan.
- 23:53Speaker 4: Listen that night. I was so pumped up, man, I was.
- 23:58Speaker 4: I was looking forward to that game. Mind you, I'm
- 24:01Speaker 4: coming off of michae faxia surgery, so I'm running on
- 24:06Speaker 4: sheer adrenaline right out there playing against Katie Russ and
- 24:11Speaker 4: James Harden. Had a great game. But once that adrenaline
- 24:15Speaker 4: ran off, Man.
- 24:21Speaker 3: Tracy mc is with us. He's great, t MAC.
- 24:25Speaker 1: What'd you make of bam at had of bios eighty
- 24:28Speaker 1: three points? Is he doing not tamper the jury?
- 24:32Speaker 4: You know what. I enjoyed it because I didn't get
- 24:34Speaker 4: a chance to see Cobs eighty one. I had a
- 24:38Speaker 4: game that night, so and when I got on the bus,
- 24:40Speaker 4: they told me what happened. So we were in the
- 24:43Speaker 4: studio and they told me he had thirty one points
- 24:46Speaker 4: in the first quarter. But I wasn't paying any to it.
- 24:48Speaker 4: I was like, oh, okay, and then I looked up
- 24:52Speaker 4: myself at halftime he had forty three. I yielded out.
- 24:56Speaker 4: I was like, yo, bam had forty three. They was like, yo,
- 24:59Speaker 4: we We've been trying to tell you this the whole time.
- 25:06Speaker 4: I was in my own mind, watching other games in
- 25:09Speaker 4: the studio, really not paying attention. And then I locked
- 25:12Speaker 4: in in the second half man, and I was, you know,
- 25:15Speaker 4: a fanboy, just cheering for him. I saw history, you know,
- 25:18Speaker 4: I think the people that we're living in the present
- 25:21Speaker 4: time and when see how he got the eighty three,
- 25:23Speaker 4: but eighty three is eighty three. I'm going for history
- 25:27Speaker 4: if I have a chance to do it, because yes,
- 25:29Speaker 4: the people in the present time, some people have a
- 25:32Speaker 4: problem with it, but the ones that are coming after us,
- 25:35Speaker 4: I'm not going to give a darn of how it
- 25:38Speaker 4: looked they're going to look at it and be like, damn,
- 25:40Speaker 4: I to biascool, eighty three points for the Miami. He like,
- 25:43Speaker 4: that's all that's gonna matter, right.
- 25:44Speaker 7: Yeah, history, I don't talk to me if you didn't
- 25:47Speaker 7: watch the first seventy points. Don't talk to me about
- 25:49Speaker 7: just the last thirty year.
- 25:50Speaker 3: You know.
- 25:51Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm not trying to hear that slander on that
- 25:53Speaker 4: at all.
- 25:54Speaker 7: Right, last thing here t MAC before and we're going
- 25:57Speaker 7: to get you to promote your league one more time.
- 25:59Speaker 7: But the NBA is talking about expansion, possibly to Seattle
- 26:04Speaker 7: and Vegas. Do you not think the league is ready
- 26:07Speaker 7: or healthy enough for to add two teams.
- 26:10Speaker 4: I just don't think we have the talent. I'm gonna
- 26:12Speaker 4: be honest with you. I think the league is already
- 26:14Speaker 4: watered down. I just to add two more teams. Hey,
- 26:21Speaker 4: that's what they want to do. Man, I'm gonna talk
- 26:24Speaker 4: about it on NBC.
- 26:27Speaker 5: You're gonna go to Vegas when they asked, I just I.
- 26:33Speaker 4: To me, I I'm looking at the league how it
- 26:35Speaker 4: is right now, and I'm like, Yo, there's just not
- 26:39Speaker 4: a lot of talent to be trying to start two
- 26:41Speaker 4: new teams. But that's the NBA.
- 26:43Speaker 7: Man, maybe that's how they get people to stop shooting
- 26:46Speaker 7: all these threes.
- 26:47Speaker 5: It's like, we're not good enough, stop shooting threes. They
- 26:49Speaker 5: got too many teams.
- 26:50Speaker 1: Cracie, that's business. They seem they see there's money to
- 26:52Speaker 1: be made and add two more teams.
- 26:54Speaker 4: If but want you know, yeah, yeah, yeah, we don't
- 26:57Speaker 4: care about it being watered down. We care about getting
- 26:59Speaker 4: the extra billion dollars on top of these.
- 27:01Speaker 5: Teams to make.
- 27:03Speaker 7: One more time before you let you go, tell me
- 27:05Speaker 7: about the Ones Basketball League and where it's at right now.
- 27:08Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 27:08Speaker 4: So we're starting May fifteenth in Orlando, Florida, and I
- 27:14Speaker 4: have I created eight cities, you know, with respective influencers
- 27:20Speaker 4: that are team owners because I wanted I want people
- 27:22Speaker 4: that look like me to have ownership in sports franchises.
- 27:25Speaker 4: And that's why I created the Battle of the City.
- 27:28Speaker 4: So you have Jadakiss in New York. You have Lorenz
- 27:31Speaker 4: Tate owns the Chicago team, John Wall owns the Raleigh team.
- 27:36Speaker 4: Tim Hardaway Senior, I gave him the Miami team. Of course,
- 27:39Speaker 4: my cousin Vince Carter has the the Orlando team, and
- 27:43Speaker 4: Quinn Cook with the DC team. So I rounded these
- 27:47Speaker 4: guys up man, I appreciate them being a part of
- 27:49Speaker 4: this and believe in them. You know my vision and
- 27:54Speaker 4: I'm looking forward to see how we build this league up. Thanks,
- 27:57Speaker 4: going to be something fun.
- 27:58Speaker 9: This is all.
- 27:58Speaker 7: Family teams in Atlanta and Baltimore as well. T Mac,
- 28:02Speaker 7: good luck with everything. It's sounds like a great league,
- 28:05Speaker 7: a great bunch of events that you have going on.
- 28:07Speaker 7: And thanks so much for taking the time for us.
- 28:09Speaker 4: Yeah, thank you, appreciate you.
- 28:11Speaker 2: Be sure to catch live editions of Stu Godson Company
- 28:15Speaker 2: Live WEEKDA said three pm Eastern twelve pm Pacific.
- 28:20Speaker 3: Eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox Dan.
- 28:22Speaker 1: We still love you. That was great though, eight seven
- 28:25Speaker 1: seven ninety nine. Fox Dan is filling in for Rich Cavino.
- 28:29Speaker 1: I'm told that after US today, let's go to Maddie,
- 28:33Speaker 1: who's in Cincinnati.
- 28:34Speaker 3: Quickly, go ahead, Maddie.
- 28:36Speaker 9: Hey, what's up?
- 28:36Speaker 3: Guys, what's up?
- 28:38Speaker 9: Maddie got a couple questions for you on the top
- 28:40Speaker 9: five stew do you know what the P and Bruce
- 28:43Speaker 9: Pearl stands for?
- 28:45Speaker 1: Oh wow, I don't please tell me THET for please?
- 28:53Speaker 1: I thought you were gonna say phony, but please is better.
- 28:57Speaker 9: Busy. Yeah, we got Miami, Ohio and Miami Florida on
- 29:01Speaker 9: the same tournament. You know what that means?
- 29:04Speaker 5: We don't have one? Or is it a couple of
- 29:06Speaker 5: Miami's cutting it up.
- 29:07Speaker 3: It could be either.
- 29:08Speaker 9: There go a couple of Miami's cutting it.
- 29:10Speaker 5: Up come the second round that we won't have one.
- 29:12Speaker 9: Yeah, that's true.
- 29:15Speaker 1: This is their national championship game tonight. I mean seriously,
- 29:18Speaker 1: it is against s m U.
- 29:20Speaker 9: I go ahead out. I was going to drive up
- 29:23Speaker 9: there for the first board tonight, but the ticket prices
- 29:26Speaker 9: are crazy. Speaking of tickets, got top five athletes that
- 29:32Speaker 9: can note a ticket? Oh?
- 29:33Speaker 7: Wow?
- 29:34Speaker 5: Set himself up for this good so excited?
- 29:37Speaker 3: Wo hold on, let me get a pen, all right?
- 29:41Speaker 9: Go aheahi O l I Kenny ticket.
- 29:45Speaker 3: Yeah you have five better than wow? All right, keep going.
- 29:53Speaker 9: Number five Danas double Field. Number four, Kevin Garnett.
- 30:06Speaker 3: How happy you are? Number three Maddie Colin section.
- 30:16Speaker 1: Kenny ticket had to be in the top five man
- 30:19Speaker 1: Number two, Maddie, Yeah, it is your less. You're right,
- 30:22Speaker 1: Thank you for correcting me. I'm sorry I made the rules.
- 30:26Speaker 1: I should know better. Go ahead number two.
- 30:28Speaker 3: Maddie Roe, Ellie Cox, all right.
- 30:37Speaker 1: And uh the number one athlete that cannotes a ticket.
- 30:41Speaker 1: According to Maddie and Cincinnati, go ahead, Maddie number one, Higgins,
- 30:49Speaker 1: so many teas.
- 30:51Speaker 3: Thank you for the call, Maddie. Well done.
- 30:55Speaker 7: To set yourself up for that one too, Maddie and
- 30:57Speaker 7: the Maddie is a profession Yeah, no, you forgot to
- 31:02Speaker 7: finish the word. I was trying to make it rhyme
- 31:04Speaker 7: and it just couldn't professional. It didn't really work.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Yeah, eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox. That is
- 31:09Speaker 1: eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox. Tracy McGrady get
- 31:13Speaker 1: to join us in about a half hour. Really, yes,
- 31:15Speaker 1: you know you didn't know that news to you.
- 31:18Speaker 5: Huhh.
- 31:19Speaker 1: One of your favorite players, I know, love that guy.
- 31:22Speaker 1: Taylor wants to play a game of is it just me?
- 31:25Speaker 1: Or I want to play a different game. We'll play that.
- 31:28Speaker 1: We'll debut that in hour number two. But Taylor wants
- 31:32Speaker 1: to play a game is it just me? Or Iowa, Sam,
- 31:36Speaker 1: Irish Sam. That means you need to have one. You
- 31:38Speaker 1: need to have one. Everyone needs to have one. Let's
- 31:41Speaker 1: start it off though, with Taylor.
- 31:44Speaker 6: Is it just me?
- 31:45Speaker 12: Or?
- 31:45Speaker 6: Could you do without the first four games?
- 31:49Speaker 3: Taylor?
- 31:51Speaker 5: Taylor, I love basketball?
- 31:53Speaker 7: You know this Yeah, never ever have I seen a
- 31:57Speaker 7: minute of a first four game. In fact, I believe
- 32:01Speaker 7: all of my brackets in history have been filled out
- 32:04Speaker 7: before the first four games.
- 32:06Speaker 3: Were ever played.
- 32:07Speaker 5: It's just that whoever wins that game, they're gonna lose anyway.
- 32:09Speaker 6: And both the games were unbelievable.
- 32:11Speaker 11: Yesterday you had the Texas NC State game where Tremont
- 32:14Speaker 11: Mark hit a buzzer beater in the first game.
- 32:16Speaker 3: Yep, March Madness, Taylor, Yeah, Mark Madness, Is that what
- 32:22Speaker 3: you told me to say? Say it, Louder, I'm going
- 32:26Speaker 3: to have.
- 32:27Speaker 7: How did the Texas assistant coach not get a technical
- 32:31Speaker 7: foul on the play?
- 32:32Speaker 11: So Stu Tremon Mark hits a buzzer beater. Yeah, but
- 32:36Speaker 11: there's still one second left on the class, so it's
- 32:38Speaker 11: not technically a buzzer beater, I guess. But the second
- 32:40Speaker 11: he hits it, a Texas coach sprints onto the court
- 32:44Speaker 11: and everybody's looking around like they should probably get teed up.
- 32:47Speaker 11: But NC State took a time out before anything could
- 32:50Speaker 11: actually happen. We got to start tea and up coaches
- 32:52Speaker 11: who run onto the court.
- 32:53Speaker 1: Yeah right, Mark Madness, it was he ran out basically
- 32:59Speaker 1: almost I five the player who hit the shot on
- 33:02Speaker 1: the other side of the court, and the.
- 33:04Speaker 7: Texas coach nearly choked him if he if this would
- 33:07Speaker 7: have been a no crowd situation, yes, you would have
- 33:10Speaker 7: seen two hands around that assistant coach's neck.
- 33:13Speaker 1: It sounds like an exciting first four for guys who
- 33:15Speaker 1: don't want the four games game.
- 33:19Speaker 5: Just give me a highlight. I'm good, all right?
- 33:21Speaker 9: Uh?
- 33:23Speaker 3: Does bordop Ricardo have a have a nominee?
- 33:26Speaker 9: Here?
- 33:26Speaker 3: He does? Oh, this is very exciting. Go ahead, everyone
- 33:28Speaker 3: has one. Look. Everyone wants to play the game. Go ahead,
- 33:31Speaker 3: boardop Ricardo.
- 33:32Speaker 2: Is it just me or did we all feel a
- 33:34Speaker 2: little Venezuelan last night?
- 33:36Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 33:37Speaker 5: Yeah, well you would have to be watching the game.
- 33:40Speaker 7: This is this is the text that I got from
- 33:42Speaker 7: Taylor last night.
- 33:43Speaker 5: Yeah, it was hang on.
- 33:45Speaker 7: I want to get it word for word because it
- 33:47Speaker 7: happened right after Bryce Harper hit what was at the
- 33:51Speaker 7: time a two run game tying home run. Yes, and
- 33:55Speaker 7: Taylor just text what a moment from Harper? Are you watching?
- 33:59Speaker 7: This was about nine PM, and I didn't have the
- 34:02Speaker 7: nerve to respond and say no, you're alone on this,
- 34:05Speaker 7: so I just waited until this morning.
- 34:07Speaker 1: So that game was too two headed into the ninth,
- 34:09Speaker 1: then Venezuela went up three too. When I'm happy for
- 34:12Speaker 1: them because they really wanted to win. That thing have
- 34:14Speaker 1: meant a lot to those players and their fans and
- 34:17Speaker 1: that country. But Taylor, who refuses to root for Roman
- 34:21Speaker 1: Anthony because he's a Yankee fan, that was the guy
- 34:23Speaker 1: at the plate last night, the final guy at the
- 34:26Speaker 1: plate with a chance to tie it up for Team USA.
- 34:29Speaker 5: Taylor a feeling Venezuelan. At a moment, Taylor put us.
- 34:32Speaker 3: There, what were you doing to poor Roman Anthony?
- 34:35Speaker 11: So is you know the Hispanic crowds, when there's two strikes,
- 34:39Speaker 11: they chant paunch.
- 34:42Speaker 5: Which means strikeout.
- 34:43Speaker 3: Yep.
- 34:43Speaker 11: So when Roman Anthony came up there with two strikes,
- 34:46Speaker 11: I was like, you know what, here's my Venezuelan paunch.
- 34:50Speaker 3: Paunch.
- 34:52Speaker 5: That's too funny.
- 34:53Speaker 9: So good.
- 34:54Speaker 13: Figure Guns Hippolis from the from from Media Radio Row
- 34:58Speaker 13: and Angry Baseball are two of my favorite favorite tailors.
- 35:02Speaker 7: Fake Hispanic Baseball tailor is right up there with the
- 35:04Speaker 7: finger Guns super Bowl Week tailor.
- 35:06Speaker 3: Yeah, the tailors I always want them to be.
- 35:08Speaker 7: I mean, just not stop to be fair, though I
- 35:11Speaker 7: did after I saw that text, which was about twenty
- 35:14Speaker 7: minutes after he sent it. I looked at the score
- 35:16Speaker 7: and it was like, this says Venezuela three, United States two.
- 35:20Speaker 3: What the heck is.
- 35:20Speaker 5: He talking about?
- 35:21Speaker 7: And then I went back and looked and I was like, oh, yeah,
- 35:23Speaker 7: that moment didn't last very long. It was like it
- 35:25Speaker 7: was a five minute window for me to be able
- 35:27Speaker 7: to respond to that text.
- 35:28Speaker 3: Bryce Harper had a moment, a moment.
- 35:30Speaker 1: If they win that game, it's a moment we remember
- 35:32Speaker 1: for the remainder of time.
- 35:34Speaker 3: But they lost the game, and no one's gonna remember
- 35:36Speaker 3: that time. Huh.
- 35:37Speaker 7: I was looking at a graphic guess showed all the
- 35:39Speaker 7: US results in the w in the WBC, and I
- 35:43Speaker 7: had no idea. I had no idea what they had done.
- 35:45Speaker 7: And you could have told me that they won them
- 35:46Speaker 7: all or they hadn't won any I would have believed you.
- 35:48Speaker 3: All Right, let's go to mikeya here for is it
- 35:51Speaker 3: just me? Or is it just me?
- 35:55Speaker 13: Or are the Miami Dolphins putting on a masterclass and
- 35:58Speaker 13: tank it? Because not only are they set up to
- 36:01Speaker 13: be in the top of the draft with some of
- 36:03Speaker 13: the best quarterbacks ever, but even if they should possibly
- 36:06Speaker 13: win a few games. They have Malik Willis, who's probably
- 36:10Speaker 13: going to be the reason they win a few games,
- 36:11Speaker 13: and then they could build around him. This is a
- 36:13Speaker 13: masterclass on how to be bad.
- 36:16Speaker 5: I will see, Mikey.
- 36:17Speaker 3: I like the take.
- 36:18Speaker 7: I just don't think they've taken it far enough for
- 36:22Speaker 7: it to be a master class. And this is why,
- 36:24Speaker 7: Okay Duvon no business being on this team. And they're
- 36:29Speaker 7: talking about I saw reports that said they're not interested
- 36:32Speaker 7: in trading him.
- 36:32Speaker 5: He's off limits. If I'm devon Han Mikey.
- 36:35Speaker 7: I'm demanding a trade immediately, because you're about to waste
- 36:40Speaker 7: one of my prime years on a dump season, on
- 36:44Speaker 7: a we're not trying to win season. And I know
- 36:46Speaker 7: you're gonna give me that ball forty times. I don't
- 36:49Speaker 7: want to get me out of here.
- 36:50Speaker 3: You have to give wait for that go ahead, Mikey said.
- 36:54Speaker 13: Wait for that week four hamstring injury that keeps it
- 36:57Speaker 13: out the rest of Yeah.
- 36:58Speaker 1: I mean, we'll see what happens, but you have to
- 37:00Speaker 1: leave someone there from Alik Willis, don't you I'm here
- 37:02Speaker 1: you yes, I'm about an offensive line.
- 37:06Speaker 11: So John Eric Sullivan's whole thing is he's supposed to
- 37:09Speaker 11: be good at identifying talent and with the amount of
- 37:11Speaker 11: picks that the Dolphins have coming up in this draft.
- 37:14Speaker 6: Yeah, and Malik Willis and Devon ah Chan. Is it
- 37:16Speaker 6: just me? Or can you kind of talk yourself?
- 37:18Speaker 5: You can't get it, You can't get a second? Is
- 37:20Speaker 5: it just me?
- 37:20Speaker 3: Out of the blue?
- 37:21Speaker 6: Now I have them try to sneak.
- 37:24Speaker 5: You can't not.
- 37:25Speaker 7: Gonna be a bunch of twenty two year olds just
- 37:27Speaker 7: running it in the NFC and a FC.
- 37:29Speaker 5: E's not happening.
- 37:30Speaker 1: Let's go to uh, let's go to Irish Sam here.
- 37:33Speaker 1: I hope he delivers this in an Irish accent.
- 37:35Speaker 5: Go hungover, Irish.
- 37:38Speaker 14: No no bloos for me last night, I swear, I
- 37:40Speaker 14: swears upon it. But uh, watching the NCAA tournament games, uh,
- 37:46Speaker 14: is it just me? Or was the pairing of legendary
- 37:49Speaker 14: Charles Barkley and Dick Vital a little underwhelming as a pair?
- 37:52Speaker 3: As a duel?
- 37:53Speaker 5: I have an example.
- 37:54Speaker 14: I was just left. I was just left wanting more.
- 37:56Speaker 14: It's a lot of babbling amongst each other about the
- 37:58Speaker 14: game and then the poor and doing the play by play.
- 38:01Speaker 14: He was just yelling over them and he was losing
- 38:03Speaker 14: his voice. So I was a little bit underwhelmed. If
- 38:05Speaker 14: anybody watched the Texas North Carolina state game, I did,
- 38:08Speaker 14: I did.
- 38:08Speaker 5: Can you can you play me some sound of that?
- 38:10Speaker 5: Is there a horrible connection between.
- 38:15Speaker 8: Do I have that sound?
- 38:17Speaker 5: This is? This is the same, this is the same.
- 38:19Speaker 7: We need we have to put him in very tight
- 38:22Speaker 7: spaces and put the pressure on him.
- 38:24Speaker 3: I see how he responds.
- 38:26Speaker 14: Multitask of our guys, mister Anderson, Chuck and Vitally Batali,
- 38:32Speaker 14: and like I say, it's.
- 38:33Speaker 3: Just not fair.
- 38:34Speaker 4: And they're gonna have to do something because you got
- 38:36Speaker 4: all these middlemen who were scumbags.
- 38:38Speaker 3: You got agents who are scumbags who don't care about lorty.
- 38:42Speaker 4: To a school.
- 38:43Speaker 7: That's what bothers me at In defense of the n
- 38:46Speaker 7: c a A, they would let's tell defend let's tell
- 38:49Speaker 7: the defendent.
- 38:50Speaker 3: They the reason the whole problem started.
- 38:52Speaker 6: They would love to do everything.
- 38:53Speaker 1: You guys are suggesting they're gonna need congressional help.
- 38:56Speaker 3: There is no we don't need help.
- 38:57Speaker 1: There kind no way that the NCAA could do the
- 39:00Speaker 1: on their own, because every lawsuit that comes down, they lose.
- 39:04Speaker 6: If you you make the rules.
- 39:06Speaker 13: Up at your house, you make the rules you I
- 39:12Speaker 13: I've heard that argument.
- 39:13Speaker 5: But your rooms up.
- 39:17Speaker 3: We don't want to deal with the business.
- 39:19Speaker 6: Move on to you go somewhere else.
- 39:21Speaker 9: Like, guys, you got a game going on that.
- 39:27Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 39:28Speaker 5: The guy just screamed diaper dandy for no reason. He's
- 39:31Speaker 5: I don't want to talk about congres.
- 39:32Speaker 1: Let's he's up on Dicky V's voice. Okay, he's been through.
- 39:35Speaker 1: It's for health issues.
- 39:36Speaker 3: Okay.
- 39:37Speaker 14: The three of them are just a little discombobulated. Though,
- 39:39Speaker 14: just a little discombobulated. I just didn't feel the chemistry
- 39:42Speaker 14: between the three of them, Thank you very much.
- 39:44Speaker 7: Now I'm gonna need to work on a Scottish accidents
- 39:46Speaker 7: be very distinct.
- 39:48Speaker 5: Can't confuse them.
- 39:49Speaker 3: Okay, how could you feel the chemistry?
- 39:50Speaker 14: They were all talking at the exact same time, and
- 39:53Speaker 14: poor mister Anderson's voice is giving out. He was just
- 39:55Speaker 14: shouting over everybody. I felt bad for him, all right.
- 39:59Speaker 15: You.
- 40:01Speaker 1: Every time, that's how you have to sign off. Let me,
- 40:08Speaker 1: let's go to executive producer Jason.
- 40:11Speaker 12: Go ahead, Jason, guys, is it just me or is
- 40:14Speaker 12: Aaron Judge's most memorable thing on a big stage him
- 40:18Speaker 12: dropping the ball in center field in the fifth end
- 40:20Speaker 12: of the World Series. I was like, Game five, Taylor,
- 40:23Speaker 12: is that his most memorable postseason accomplishment?
- 40:27Speaker 3: Not just you?
- 40:28Speaker 11: So for you, it might be for me. It was
- 40:31Speaker 11: that home run that he hit against uh, Mikey? Was
- 40:34Speaker 11: it against the Blue Jays or the one I deemed
- 40:36Speaker 11: a legacy at bat?
- 40:37Speaker 9: Right?
- 40:37Speaker 5: And they lost the next three games?
- 40:39Speaker 7: Fair?
- 40:39Speaker 6: It's tough to have a legacy at BA.
- 40:41Speaker 5: Remember when it was right?
- 40:43Speaker 3: Some legacy at bat? Yes? Perfect?
- 40:46Speaker 8: Perfect, terrible.
- 40:49Speaker 16: I think Jason's point was just proven.
- 40:52Speaker 5: Yeah, exactly?
- 40:53Speaker 1: Does update anchor I have one back there? Or is
- 40:56Speaker 1: he not playing the game today?
- 40:57Speaker 16: I have two?
- 40:58Speaker 5: Oh wow, you better choose your best one.
- 41:01Speaker 3: Well the first one.
- 41:03Speaker 16: The first one is very quick and it just came
- 41:05Speaker 16: to me.
- 41:05Speaker 3: Is it just me?
- 41:06Speaker 15: Or is Irish Sam a more appealing personality than Iowa Sam?
- 41:13Speaker 14: Yes, Kefron, not Isaac. I'll break up whiskey bottle over
- 41:17Speaker 14: your head like I did Dan Byer.
- 41:19Speaker 16: Okay, I take it back, all right?
- 41:21Speaker 6: Is it just me?
- 41:22Speaker 11: Oh?
- 41:22Speaker 14: Wait, no, you're a complimenting Irish Sam. I'm sorry, Yes,
- 41:25Speaker 14: I was. Iowsh Sam doesn't care, He's fine.
- 41:27Speaker 15: Yes, I look forward to Irish Sam breaking down the
- 41:30Speaker 15: Irish Hurling Championships coming up a little later on this.
- 41:33Speaker 15: But all right, is it just me or was it
- 41:35Speaker 15: surprisingly cheap of the Baltimore Ravens that when they initially
- 41:39Speaker 15: flew Max Crosby in before backing out of the trade,
- 41:42Speaker 15: they had them fly commercially into Washington, d C. And
- 41:46Speaker 15: then driven two more hours to Baltimore instead of either
- 41:49Speaker 15: flying him directly to Baltimore either privately or commercially. The
- 41:53Speaker 15: Ravens I didn't think had a reputation for being kind of,
- 41:56Speaker 15: you know, cheap and not major league.
- 41:58Speaker 5: I'm gonna take this another step further.
- 42:00Speaker 7: I'm going to go ahead and claim that's why his
- 42:01Speaker 7: knee was injured and he failed the physical.
- 42:03Speaker 5: It was the long bus ride you keep on the
- 42:06Speaker 5: long car ride trying to hurt him. Yes, absolutely got
- 42:09Speaker 5: to keep those knee stretched.
- 42:10Speaker 16: Out middle seat on frontier, gotcha?
- 42:13Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 42:13Speaker 1: Yes, uh huh yeah, mine is Max Crosby related as well.
- 42:17Speaker 1: In fact, Irish Sam and I think it's the second
- 42:19Speaker 1: week in a row. I'm going with, uh, is it
- 42:21Speaker 1: just here?
- 42:22Speaker 5: Was this dude's take last week?
- 42:24Speaker 1: Have the sound ready of Max Crosby who started a
- 42:28Speaker 1: podcast because why it's a good time for Max Crosby
- 42:30Speaker 1: to start a podcast to tell his story.
- 42:32Speaker 3: Yes daylen No, I.
- 42:34Speaker 6: Was just saying, Ricardo, you're going to be playing the soundnocke.
- 42:36Speaker 3: Okay, Ricardo, get the sound ready here?
- 42:39Speaker 1: Because is it just me or Eric Tacosta who said
- 42:43Speaker 1: he was gutted because Max Crosby did not pass his physical.
- 42:47Speaker 9: Is it just me?
- 42:48Speaker 3: Was he gutted or is he gutless? Let's play the
- 42:51Speaker 3: sound different game.
- 42:52Speaker 1: Of Max Crosby taking us through that experience visiting the
- 42:56Speaker 1: Baltimore Ravens for his physical.
- 42:58Speaker 10: Like before I left, I wanted to see the head coach,
- 43:01Speaker 10: just chop it up, talk football, talk ball like he's
- 43:03Speaker 10: a defensive guy. Never met him before like that, so
- 43:06Speaker 10: I wanted to chop it up. So I didn't get
- 43:07Speaker 10: to meet with him. To the end of the day,
- 43:09Speaker 10: I didn't get to see the GM that all. I
- 43:11Speaker 10: thought I was going to see him when I first
- 43:13Speaker 10: got there. I didn't see him for five hours. And
- 43:15Speaker 10: I don't know why. I'm not going to speculate. At
- 43:17Speaker 10: the end, they're like, yeah, i'll take you up. Joe
- 43:19Speaker 10: was like, I'll take you up and you go see
- 43:20Speaker 10: the head coach whatever.
- 43:21Speaker 8: Just before you leave.
- 43:22Speaker 10: I went back up. I dap him up, and they
- 43:24Speaker 10: can just tell, like the energy was a little bit off.
- 43:26Speaker 10: And the GM was standing in like the hall, like
- 43:28Speaker 10: in the room next to me, to the right, And
- 43:30Speaker 10: that was the first time I seen him. And you know,
- 43:32Speaker 10: I'm just in my head like I'm just just a whirlwind,
- 43:34Speaker 10: like I'm so excited, like fired up, you know what
- 43:36Speaker 10: I mean, like this is new opportunity whatever. And you
- 43:38Speaker 10: can just tell the energy was off, like I dapped
- 43:40Speaker 10: him up. He had like a plank face, and I'm like, okay,
- 43:44Speaker 10: I'm not thinking anything of it. Maybe it's just different.
- 43:46Speaker 10: I don't know, I don't know him whatever. I go
- 43:49Speaker 10: into the room, they sit me down on the couch
- 43:51Speaker 10: and he's like, man, I don't know how to say this,
- 43:52Speaker 10: but you know, one of our doctors has concerns with
- 43:55Speaker 10: the results and whatever, and like with your knee, like
- 43:58Speaker 10: some of them have, you know, concerned about the future
- 44:01Speaker 10: and da da da da da, And you know, we
- 44:03Speaker 10: really want you and this is what it is. But
- 44:05Speaker 10: you know we're just gonna have to get more and
- 44:07Speaker 10: more opinions.
- 44:09Speaker 7: That's terrible, man, I mean, that's clearly a couple of
- 44:12Speaker 7: people who already knew that they weren't going to keep
- 44:14Speaker 7: him in his trade.
- 44:15Speaker 3: They were on the phone with Trey Hendrickson.
- 44:18Speaker 6: Is it just Mirroord? Do you guys feel a bit betrayed?
- 44:20Speaker 6: Stu reheated?
- 44:21Speaker 9: Is it just me?
- 44:22Speaker 3: I mean we have sound now. I mean you have
- 44:24Speaker 3: a man walking you through one of the most difficult times.
- 44:27Speaker 6: I'm just checking with the group.
- 44:28Speaker 1: I mean he went to get a physical, he took
- 44:29Speaker 1: a boss, he took a bicycle, he took every mode
- 44:32Speaker 1: of transportation to get himself to Baltimore, only to be
- 44:36Speaker 1: only to.
- 44:37Speaker 3: Never meet with a GM, never meet with the head coach.
- 44:40Speaker 3: He's there for five hours and they send them back
- 44:42Speaker 3: to Las Vegas. Terrible.
- 44:45Speaker 13: Hey, guys, I think we have a chance at getting
- 44:48Speaker 13: another player, and we don't have to sign Max Crosby,
- 44:51Speaker 13: but we need to buy time.
- 44:52Speaker 3: Do me a favor.
- 44:53Speaker 13: Fly him into Washington and then let him pick a
- 44:56Speaker 13: car up here to bias the time so that we
- 44:58Speaker 13: can sign someone else.
- 45:00Speaker 5: All right?
- 45:01Speaker 9: Is it just me?
- 45:01Speaker 7: Or who has everybody who's ever touched a microphone got
- 45:04Speaker 7: to get off there?
- 45:05Speaker 5: Is it just me?
- 45:05Speaker 3: Before me?
- 45:06Speaker 5: I have been left no time to do this.
- 45:08Speaker 3: Therefore I will.
- 45:09Speaker 5: Change my Is it just me to this?
- 45:11Speaker 14: Is it just me?
- 45:12Speaker 7: Or does Max Crosby sound like somebody who says this,
- 45:15Speaker 7: that and the third a lot? Because I wouldn't trust him.
- 45:18Speaker 7: I think he does say that that wasn't even my
- 45:20Speaker 7: Is it just me?
- 45:21Speaker 3: But you know that's what I'm left with. I apologize
- 45:23Speaker 3: I forgot to go to you.
- 45:26Speaker 9: So do we have.
- 45:27Speaker 5: Scottish mic in somewhere on a microphone that wants.
- 45:30Speaker 3: To talk to us?
- 45:31Speaker 7: You have every right to be about English, Eric, anybody,
- 45:34Speaker 7: no just Irish say I'm okay, I no time for that.
- 45:37Speaker 5: You're not not go to the door.
- 45:39Speaker 3: I am gutted. They're my guts
