- 0:30Happy Monday, Harder Than Life Nation. It's your boy, Kelly Siegel, and this is your Hard Reset. Your Monday wake-up call to light a fire under your amazing week. Today's topic, courage. And I don't mean Hollywood courage. Capes, medals, fireworks, awards.
- 0:50Talking about micro courage, those tiny invisible moments of bravery that change your whole life. See, we've been sold a lie. The courage has to be massive. Quit your job, run into a burning building, jump out of planes, start to side hustle, multiple streams of income. Nah, real courage, it's small, it's quiet. It's built in the shadows when no one's watching.
- 1:20It's the courage to have the tough conversations instead of avoiding it. It's the courage to admit when you're wrong and make it right. It's the courage to walk into the gym when you feel out of shape and embarrassed. It's the courage to hit send on that job application, even when you don't feel ready or perhaps qualified. Let me give you a story. Years ago.
- 1:49When I first started running my IT cybersecurity company, National Technology Management, working 80 hours a week, pretending everything was fine. I was the bottleneck. And my ego kept saying, you're the boss. You've got this.
- 2:05You can do everything. One morning, I knew I couldn't. I looked in the mirror and I said, you don't got this. Not like this. You're burning yourself out. And that was my micro courage moment. I asked for help. I built systems. I delegated. I hired consultants. And guess what? The company expanded. It exploded.
- 2:29I worked less, had more peace, clarity, freedom, and finally got my life back. Because courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes it whispers. Fix this now before it breaks you. Every time you practice micro courage, you're stacking wins. You're rewiring your brain to believe. I can do hard things.
- 2:59I can do anything I put my mind to. When you stack enough of those small wins, you become unstoppable. Confidence isn't something you wait for. It's something you build by doing. And you know my rule. Excuses don't get results. Action does. So here's your hard reset challenge for this week. Stop waiting for the big moment to be brave. Start practicing micro courage today.
- 3:30Make the phone call. Speak up. Ask the question. Show up. Show out. Because courage isn't a single act. It's a lifestyle built one small step at a time. If you needed a sign, this is it. Be the person your future self thanks you for. When fear and courage show up at the same door,
- 4:00Only one gets invited in and gets to stay. Choose courage. Now listen up because the week doesn't stop here.
- 4:10Tomorrow, I'm sitting down with the one and only Brandy Roderick. Yes, the Playboy Playmate and one of the stars of Baywatch. We're talking reinvention, resilience, and rising through every season of life. The depth of this amazing woman was wowza. You do not want to miss it. Then Thursday, it's me and you again.
- 4:38breaking down the truth about success, confidence, and visibility in why you can't wait to be chosen.
