4:29
SPEAKER_02: But for today, uh, it looks like the breakdown of the show is that T Hustle's gonna drop some tech insights or tech current events, I'm sorry.
4:36
SPEAKER_02: Uh Raymond's Nuggets.
4:38
SPEAKER_02: Looks like we got some movies and a discussion, which we'll we'll definitely dive into.
4:42
SPEAKER_02: Um, I got some tech insights around concerns people have about being late to AI.
4:47
SPEAKER_02: Uh so definitely want to jump in on that.
4:49
SPEAKER_02: Um, and then we're gonna have uh what is it, the tech sports center?
4:53
SPEAKER_02: Tech Hustle Sports Center.
4:57
SPEAKER_02: Obviously, y'all can see how excited he is.
4:59
SPEAKER_02: Uh seems like we had a few things going on um this past week, and then we got local sponsorship, and then we have an outro and we'll close it out.
5:06
SPEAKER_02: How's that sound, fellas?
5:06
SPEAKER_02: Sounds like a fish.
5:11
SPEAKER_02: Actually, you're you're the first one up.

SPEAKER_03: Welcome to the beautiful tech hustle, tech events, tech show, tech support.
5:28
SPEAKER_03: We hit it.
5:29
SPEAKER_03: Whatever you need.
5:30
SPEAKER_03: We got uh just pick up the phone.
5:32
SPEAKER_03: Just pick up the phone.
5:33
SPEAKER_03: We got this for you.
5:34
SPEAKER_03: Uh shout out to Apple, ladies and gentlemen.
5:37
SPEAKER_03: Basically, it overtakes Nvidia as the world's most valuable company.
5:43
SPEAKER_02: Interesting.
5:44
SPEAKER_03: All right.
5:44
SPEAKER_03: Apple has value up to 4.88 trillion, and NVIDIA has capitalized and failed to 4.86.
5:53
SPEAKER_03: So you're looking at two million less, but 4.86 trillion.
5:59
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
6:00
SPEAKER_03: Dropped 8.5%.
6:01
SPEAKER_03: Apple has held the top spot in April last year.
6:06
SPEAKER_02: Wow.
6:06
SPEAKER_02: Give give Apple a big round of applause.
6:09
SPEAKER_02: Two they would be back on they took the crown back.
6:13
SPEAKER_03: I have no fucking idea of how Apple's number one with the same fucking bullshit as fucking the same phone, same square, rectangular fucking shape.
6:24
SPEAKER_03: What what are they doing?
6:25
SPEAKER_03: Is what I want to know.
6:26
SPEAKER_02: They're making money, player.
6:27
SPEAKER_02: That's what they're doing.
6:29
SPEAKER_02: They're not designing much, but they're definitely making money, bro.
6:32
SPEAKER_02: What?
6:33
SPEAKER_04: But you gotta realize too, you know, the app store, like everyone wants to be on there.
6:37
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
6:37
SPEAKER_04: They just, yes, they don't make the you know, the hardware, but the app store.
6:42
SPEAKER_02: Oh, I'm gonna tell y'all a quick story about the app store, and this is how they they definitely are ringing in bread.
6:47
SPEAKER_02: So you know that um myself and my guy Julius, give Julius a big round of applause.
6:51
SPEAKER_02: Uh run a company called Jordi.
6:53
SPEAKER_02: Round of applause.
6:53
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
6:54
SPEAKER_02: Press the button.
6:55
SPEAKER_02: Yes.
6:56
SPEAKER_02: He hasn't gotten a shirt yet, still.
6:57
SPEAKER_02: So go ahead and give the thumbnail.
6:59
SPEAKER_00: He's been ducking deep.
7:02
SPEAKER_02: That's why he hasn't been away.
7:04
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he's hiding away, right?
7:05
SPEAKER_02: He's definitely hiding it.
7:07
SPEAKER_02: But Julius, I um have a new app that's coming out.
7:10
SPEAKER_02: Um, it's called Jordy Shield.
7:13
SPEAKER_02: And it's basically an app that's gonna run on the iPhone.
7:16
SPEAKER_02: But one thing that we ran into with the iPhone is if we're gonna be collecting money at all, iPhone says you have to use their payment system.
7:24
SPEAKER_02: So let's say that you have an app that you're building and you're gonna buy it for or sell it for$1.99, you have to use Apple payment system.
7:32
SPEAKER_02: You can't use anything else.
7:33
SPEAKER_02: So we had to submit an app and we're trying to get around it and say, hey, just go to Stripe and pay for it, and Apple denied our app.
7:40
SPEAKER_02: Explicitly saying you have to use our payment system.
7:43
SPEAKER_02: So if you have an app that you want to actually run on Apple, you have to design it in a way that uses Apple's payment system.
7:50
SPEAKER_02: Um, and that's how they guarantee all this bread that they get.
7:54
SPEAKER_04: That's messed up.
7:55
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and if they look in the app and there's anything outside of that, they deny it.
7:58
SPEAKER_02: They shut it down.
7:59
SPEAKER_02: They shut it down.
8:00
SPEAKER_02: So what's the percentage?
8:02
SPEAKER_02: Um, I think oh actually I gotta check it, but I think it's like five to ten percent, depending on the app.
8:08
SPEAKER_02: Um Apple um app percentage.
8:13
SPEAKER_04: That's the thing.
8:14
SPEAKER_04: Whether they you don't buy their phones or not, they gotta make their money other ways.
8:18
SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
8:19
SPEAKER_04: It's it's that's just greed, man.
8:22
SPEAKER_02: It I mean, it's it's basically them.
8:25
SPEAKER_02: Oh, I apologize.
8:26
SPEAKER_02: Thirty, fifteen to thirty percent commission.
8:29
SPEAKER_02: Ooh.
8:30
SPEAKER_02: That was 30% commission.
8:31
SPEAKER_04: That was the whole remember when Fortnite was suing them for years and years.
8:35
SPEAKER_04: That was the thing.
8:36
SPEAKER_04: It had to go to court.
8:36
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, because they didn't want to do that, they didn't want to pay that fee.
8:39
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
8:39
SPEAKER_02: So Yeah, it's 30% for standard, 15% for small businesses.
8:44
SPEAKER_02: So we fit in the small business realm.
8:45
SPEAKER_02: Oh, okay.
8:46
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so that's why we were trying to figure out what the rate was.
8:49
SPEAKER_02: Uh, but yeah, 30%.
8:52
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
8:52
SPEAKER_02: And that's just for utilizing their platform and offering your services.
8:57
SPEAKER_02: So you asked how they got to four or something trillion dollars?
9:00
SPEAKER_02: Yes.
9:00
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
9:01
unknown: Wow.
9:02
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
9:02
SPEAKER_02: Without coming up with new phones?
9:03
SPEAKER_04: Yes, without coming up with phones because everybody wants to be on the app store.
9:06
SPEAKER_02: Yep.
9:07
SPEAKER_04: So yeah.
9:08
SPEAKER_03: There's not a lot of shit on there anyway.
9:10
SPEAKER_04: I'm just saying, yeah, they are they got a monopoly, man.
9:13
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, they're holding it down.
9:16
SPEAKER_03: All right, fuck that, right?
9:17
SPEAKER_03: Get new phones, get new technology.
9:21
SPEAKER_03: It's taking them fucking almost 27 years to figure out to bring a f a folded phone coming soon.
9:26
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
9:26
SPEAKER_03: Anyway, I'll discuss about that some other time.
9:28
SPEAKER_03: Um, at the end of the day, yeah, that's all I got, man.
9:30
SPEAKER_03: For uh for them, um, for this topic, uh, fortunately, they passed the video, which it's still surprising for me.
9:39
SPEAKER_03: I I still can't get it out of my head how, uh, why, and but I guess that terminology which you said, and yeah.
9:47
SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
9:48
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I don't know.
9:49
SPEAKER_03: I I I don't I don't see it as the same shit.
9:53
SPEAKER_03: Fucking every other week, fucking new update.
9:56
SPEAKER_03: I I hey whatever works.
9:59
SPEAKER_02: I guess did did um Nvidia ever hit five trillion?
10:02
SPEAKER_02: Did anybody not too sure?
10:06
SPEAKER_02: Five trillion dollar company.
10:07
SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
10:08
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I need to fucking figure some shit.
10:10
SPEAKER_02: I think they're on their track towards that.
10:12
SPEAKER_03: I mean the Neo laptop, which is very nice.
10:16
SPEAKER_03: Thank you for thinking outside the box.
10:18
SPEAKER_02: They give us something, you know, that could afford it.
10:20
SPEAKER_03: You know what they do really well?
10:22
SPEAKER_03: They do cut different colors very well.
10:24
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, the orange, it was a nice orange, a nice midnight, a purple, uh uh a pink.
10:31
SPEAKER_03: You know, something different.
10:32
SPEAKER_03: I don't see uh Google or slash uh Samsung doing stuff like that.
10:36
SPEAKER_03: So good for you.
10:38
SPEAKER_03: I mean, you're you know I don't know who thought about those colors.
10:41
SPEAKER_03: Give that person a raise.
10:42
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
10:43
SPEAKER_03: Give us some diversity there.
10:45
SPEAKER_02: Um but uh just to answer the question, Nvidia was the first$5 trillion company at the beginning of the year, and then they've come back down to 4.0 something.
10:53
SPEAKER_02: Um but I was trying to see if if uh Apple was on that same track, but they'll be at$5 trillion sooner than later.
10:58
SPEAKER_02: But damn, I can't believe we're talking trillions.
11:01
SPEAKER_03: What else you got, Play?
11:03
SPEAKER_03: All right, for all you gamers out there and love playing Modern Warfare, uh Modern Warfare 4 is coming now, ladies and gentlemen, and they are looking for beta testers.

12:11
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
12:12
SPEAKER_02: Are they paying, or are you just giving them feedback?
12:14
SPEAKER_03: Um, just giving them feedback.
12:16
SPEAKER_02: Okay, okay.
12:17
SPEAKER_03: Um so I mean you can go there and see how it works, how to get the guns, how to get camo, uh how to first deployment into kill blocks, uh, you know, modern warfare for experience, yada yada yada, ha da haada hada.

12:56
SPEAKER_03: She she g I used to give it to her every year.

13:05
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, she she plays the story and that's it.
13:06
SPEAKER_03: She plays the story as a done deal, she passed it as a done deal.
13:09
SPEAKER_03: Maybe I might do that this year.
13:11
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you never know, spicing it up a little bit.
13:13
SPEAKER_03: But then it's gonna be a problem because then now it's gonna be in Jordan's room.
13:16
SPEAKER_03: Uh-huh.
13:17
SPEAKER_02: But whatever.
13:18
SPEAKER_02: So technically, you should just buy it for yourself.
13:20
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, basically.
13:22
SPEAKER_02: Well, I will say for viewers, if you do get an early access to this, let us know.
13:27
SPEAKER_02: We would love to hear your reviews on it.
13:29
SPEAKER_02: And one thing I would encourage, especially if you get it early, is start streaming about it or posting about it, you know, because you'll be one of the early access, and everybody will, you know, uh listen to your feedback.
13:39
SPEAKER_02: So uh big big shout outs to Call of Duty giving this option.
13:42
SPEAKER_02: Um, and yeah, man, um, I I haven't gotten back into gaming.
13:46
SPEAKER_02: Have y'all have either of y'all thought about getting back into gaming or trying to get into gaming?
13:49
SPEAKER_03: So I've been in the gaming.
13:50
SPEAKER_03: I just play sports.
13:51
SPEAKER_03: That's how you play?
13:52
SPEAKER_03: What you play mostly?
13:53
SPEAKER_03: So I play uh NFL, 2K.
13:56
SPEAKER_03: Uh I've been doing here and there with FIFA with Jordan.
13:59
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
14:00
SPEAKER_03: Um, and uh other than that, that's it.
14:02
SPEAKER_03: I haven't done much.
14:04
SPEAKER_02: I know I know who can give you a run for your money on 2K.
14:06
SPEAKER_03: Who?
14:07
SPEAKER_02: Uh Chase.
14:08
SPEAKER_03: Chase?
14:08
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
14:09
SPEAKER_03: Actually, shout out to my guy Chase.
14:12
SPEAKER_03: Shout out to my guy Chase.
14:13
SPEAKER_03: Actually, I played Chase in New York when I was in New York.
14:16
SPEAKER_03: I was busting his ass.
14:19
SPEAKER_03: Bro, uh, but yo, true story, uh, he beat me.
14:22
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
14:22
SPEAKER_03: He beat me.
14:23
SPEAKER_03: Uh and he he on and again, shout out to Chase.
14:27
SPEAKER_03: Uh-huh because the only guy who had uh fucking almost 87 points was Michael Jordan.
14:33
SPEAKER_03: Uh he picked the bulls, yeah.
14:36
SPEAKER_03: Michael Jordan just dominating with the front.
14:38
SPEAKER_03: I was like, yo, how you do it?
14:39
SPEAKER_03: You know, I haven't played 2K like in at least five, six months, and he he's just just balling, but yeah.
14:46
SPEAKER_03: In the beginning, I was losing like 20 to freaking three because I was like, yo, I forgot the buttons, how to play this.
14:51
SPEAKER_03: He's like, Oh, it's the same, Theo, it's the same.
14:52
SPEAKER_03: I was like, Oh, it is.
14:53
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I said, say, and then I was just there, just dunking, just doing it.
14:58
SPEAKER_03: He goes, How you did that?
15:00
SPEAKER_03: I was like, Yo, listen, I used to play this.
15:02
SPEAKER_03: And uh fourth quarter, I was up by like 20 something, and he brought that boy came back and just bust my butt.
15:08
SPEAKER_03: I was like, Yeah, and then he was he was on fire, but everything he went.
15:12
SPEAKER_03: I was like, Man, this shit is rigged.
15:14
SPEAKER_03: That was pretty much yeah.
15:16
SPEAKER_02: Actually, I was watching him play the other day, and uh he didn't pick the bulls.
15:21
SPEAKER_02: He was who was he playing with?
15:22
SPEAKER_02: Um, I can't remember the team.
15:24
SPEAKER_02: Um, but he was playing with just one player.
15:27
SPEAKER_02: But the way that he was playing was actually kind of like the first time that I thought about playing sports games like that.
15:32
SPEAKER_02: Because for me, whenever I played sports game, I'm switching from one player to the next player.
15:36
SPEAKER_02: Like, whoever has the ball, I'm playing as them.
15:38
SPEAKER_02: For him, he's like, no, I passed the ball, he still stays this person, and he's waiting for them to pass it back.
15:44
SPEAKER_02: So his style of playing for me was actually a little bit refreshing to be like, man, he's actually playing as that character rather than hey, let me just play anybody on the team.
15:54
SPEAKER_02: Um, but yeah, let's big big shout outs to my guy Chase.
15:56
SPEAKER_02: Give him a round of applause.
15:58
SPEAKER_02: Uh and yeah, man, it's always good.
16:00
SPEAKER_02: I'm coming back for you, bro.
16:02
SPEAKER_03: Theo Darwin said, I'm coming back.
16:04
SPEAKER_03: I'm coming back.
16:05
SPEAKER_03: Because he just kept using so I picked the team.
16:07
SPEAKER_03: So he made up a team because he had Jordan, Derek Rose, Scottie Pippen.
16:13
SPEAKER_03: I was like, what kind of team is this?
16:16
SPEAKER_03: He got me, he got me on some regular team.
16:18
SPEAKER_03: I was like, all right, you know, whatever.
16:20
SPEAKER_03: But I give him a shout out, man.
16:21
SPEAKER_03: He just and then just Jordan just dominated.
16:24
SPEAKER_03: I was like, bro, I say, this has to be Jordan.
16:26
SPEAKER_03: LeBron can never.
16:27
SPEAKER_01: Wow.
16:28
SPEAKER_01: Uh just want to get that out there.
16:30
SPEAKER_03: Even in the game?
16:31
SPEAKER_03: Nobody even picked, nobody even thought.
16:32
SPEAKER_03: Game deleted.
16:33
SPEAKER_03: He deleted LeBron.
16:35
SPEAKER_03: It's funny.
16:36
SPEAKER_03: Very funny.
16:37
SPEAKER_03: But yeah, he did phenomenal, man.
16:38
SPEAKER_03: He he bust my butt.
16:39
SPEAKER_03: Uh shout out to my man over there.
16:41
SPEAKER_03: Okay, yes, sir.
16:43
SPEAKER_02: Yes, sir.
16:44
SPEAKER_02: All right.
16:45
SPEAKER_02: So next up, we got my guy Raymond.
16:47
SPEAKER_02: Don't call him Ray Ray.
16:48
SPEAKER_02: And it looks like we got a little slightly different order today.
16:51
SPEAKER_02: Yes.
16:52
SPEAKER_02: What's going on, player?
16:53
SPEAKER_04: All right.
16:53
SPEAKER_04: So um wanted to switch it up here, talk about um a movie I went and saw this weekend.
17:01
SPEAKER_04: And before I get into it, well, I'm gonna drop it in here.
17:05
SPEAKER_04: Drop the link in here.
17:06
SPEAKER_04: I went and saw Odyssey.
17:08
unknown: Oh.
17:09
SPEAKER_04: Something that you said, Bobby, that really alarmed me yesterday.
17:13
SPEAKER_04: We were on our pre-call, and D Hustle asked you, how was the movie?
17:16
SPEAKER_04: And you said it was, it was it was good.
17:18
SPEAKER_04: It was okay.
17:19
SPEAKER_04: Odyssey, I'm gonna repeat.
17:21
SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna keep it family-friendly.
17:23
SPEAKER_04: This is family-friendly podcasts.
17:25
SPEAKER_04: Is it?
17:25
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
17:26
SPEAKER_04: Okay.
17:26
SPEAKER_04: I'm not gonna curse or nothing like that.
17:28
SPEAKER_04: Try to hold my emotions.
17:29
SPEAKER_04: Odyssey.
17:30
SPEAKER_03: Hold on, hold on.
17:31
SPEAKER_03: Are you giving a review or are you gonna tell me about the movie?
17:33
SPEAKER_03: Because I haven't seen the.
17:34
SPEAKER_04: I am going to keep this spoiler-free.
17:36
SPEAKER_03: Gotcha.
17:37
SPEAKER_03: Yes.
17:37
SPEAKER_03: That's the key.
17:38
SPEAKER_03: Not text the audience and say, shit, I'm fucking audience.
17:42
SPEAKER_03: Drop it in the Discord and like it.
17:43
SPEAKER_04: Yes.
17:44
SPEAKER_04: This is gonna be spoiler-free.
17:46
SPEAKER_04: Went and saw Odyssey.
17:47
SPEAKER_04: Bobby saw it.
17:48
SPEAKER_04: I mean, the whole world went and saw it.
17:49
SPEAKER_04: Bobby said something that alarmed me yesterday.
17:51
SPEAKER_04: The hustle asked him, How's the movie?
17:53
SPEAKER_04: Bobby said, It was okay, it's good.
17:55
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
17:56
SPEAKER_04: Odyssey is not a good movie.
17:57
SPEAKER_04: Uh-huh.
17:58
SPEAKER_04: Odyssey is a fucking amazing movie.
18:02
SPEAKER_04: Wow.
18:03
SPEAKER_04: That is the best movie I've seen this year.
18:05
SPEAKER_04: The best you've seen this year?
18:06
SPEAKER_04: I'm going to watch it again with my kids on Friday in IMAX.
18:10
SPEAKER_04: I repeat, Odyssey is not a good movie.
18:14
SPEAKER_04: It is the best movie I've seen, and I don't think nothing's going to come close to it.
18:18
SPEAKER_03: Well, first of all, shout out today.
18:20
SPEAKER_03: Okay, I'm gonna shout out.
18:22
SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna keep it 100.
18:24
SPEAKER_03: Second of all, uh, Chris Nolan spent 260 million on this movie.
18:28
SPEAKER_03: It's gotta be fucking phenomenal.
18:29
SPEAKER_03: Wow.
18:30
SPEAKER_04: Yes, that is that's what I wanted to discuss first, and then I have a second part of this.
18:36
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
18:36
SPEAKER_04: Odyssey is amazing.
18:38
SPEAKER_04: If you have not seen it, go watch it.
18:40
SPEAKER_04: I'm going to watch it again with my kids, and I cannot wait.
18:43
SPEAKER_04: My kids haven't seen it.
18:44
SPEAKER_04: I watched it with my girl.
18:45
SPEAKER_04: It's amazing.
18:46
SPEAKER_04: Like, I cannot stop thinking about this movie.
18:48
SPEAKER_04: I can't stop talking about it.
18:50
SPEAKER_04: Like, at first I was a little bit nervous because you know they had dropped the first final trailer a couple weeks ago, and I don't know if you guys saw, it got more dislikes than likes.
18:59
SPEAKER_04: From from the last trailer?
19:00
SPEAKER_04: From the last trailer, because there's a lot of like, you know, political stuff.
19:04
SPEAKER_04: People were like complaining, they didn't like the cast and all that.
19:07
SPEAKER_04: And I was nervous.
19:08
SPEAKER_04: I was like, oh god.
19:09
SPEAKER_04: And then once they dropped the official reviews on there on Rotten Tomatoes and the official people who get to watch it first, it got a 96%.
19:18
SPEAKER_04: I started feeling better.
19:19
SPEAKER_04: I went and watched it on Friday.
19:20
SPEAKER_04: That movie is amazing.
19:22
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
19:22
SPEAKER_04: There is directors, and then there's Christopher Nolan.
19:25
SPEAKER_02: Wow.
19:25
SPEAKER_04: Christopher Nolan is Jordan, and then there's everybody else.
19:29
SPEAKER_04: That's what I wanted to say.
19:30
SPEAKER_04: That's that's my first piece.
19:32
SPEAKER_04: And then I have a second piece on this.
19:34
SPEAKER_04: So yeah, that's my first nugget.
19:37
SPEAKER_04: That's my first nugget.
19:38
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I did not say LeBron.
19:40
SPEAKER_02: So yeah, there's when I made my statement yesterday in the pre-call, I could have sworn I heard you drop the phone.
19:46
SPEAKER_02: Like, like you were like, what's going on?
19:49
SPEAKER_04: I had to hold my emotions in, like, big ones.
19:52
SPEAKER_04: If you want to hear it now, I'm like, no, I gotta save this for the podcast.
19:56
SPEAKER_02: I was literally like, I was sitting there like, damn, Raymond must really like this movie.
20:01
SPEAKER_02: And and I'm not gonna say it's it's a good movie.
20:04
SPEAKER_02: I'm just saying, I'm just saying, I'm comparing it to all medieval movies that I've ever watched.
20:11
SPEAKER_02: Medieval.
20:12
SPEAKER_02: Like medieval, like um uh Greek mythology and all that stuff.
20:16
SPEAKER_02: Mythology type stuff, like his swords, okay and uh like all right.
20:20
SPEAKER_04: I guess you like what 300 better?
20:22
SPEAKER_04: Do you like Troy better?
20:24
SPEAKER_02: Okay was amazing too.
20:26
SPEAKER_02: Um uh Gladiator, the first Gladiator was amazing type, right?
20:31
SPEAKER_02: So um it is close, in my opinion.
20:36
SPEAKER_02: But that's all I'll say.
20:38
SPEAKER_04: All good movies, but the Oscars and the Academies, whatever you call those, just put all those two aside.
20:46
SPEAKER_04: There's nothing that's gonna beat this movie this year.
20:48
SPEAKER_02: Well, I don't think there's gonna be another movie that's spinning this much on the movie.
20:52
SPEAKER_04: Not even, even if they spend more, just the acting, the story, like the I'm not giving anything away, like, you know, even like we all know there's monsters in there and stuff like that.
21:03
SPEAKER_04: It's just I'm gonna get to that in my second part.
21:05
SPEAKER_04: Like, this movie is just it's like even the one-liners, bro.
21:09
SPEAKER_04: Like, when that thing releases on streaming, those one-liners from the one character, the villain on there, that guy who played the villain, yeah.
21:17
SPEAKER_04: Like he made me want to punch the screen.
21:19
SPEAKER_04: Like, I didn't want a villain to I didn't hate a villain.
21:22
SPEAKER_04: So you know, like a movie, you know a movie is good when you like want that villain to like it gets you mad.
21:27
SPEAKER_04: Like you want, you know what I'm saying?
21:29
SPEAKER_04: That's how good this movie was.
21:30
SPEAKER_04: Like, yeah, I I mean I can't wait for you to watch it the answer.
21:33
SPEAKER_04: It's and get your take, but I'm saying hands down, like step out of the way, nothing's gonna beat this movie.
21:39
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I will say, being the length of the movie, it held it the whole time.
21:43
SPEAKER_02: Yes.
21:43
SPEAKER_02: And and I would say, wait until the end.
21:45
SPEAKER_02: Yes.
21:45
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you have to watch it all the way through.
21:47
SPEAKER_02: It's fantastic.
21:47
SPEAKER_04: Like it's it's the best movie I've seen.
21:50
unknown: Right.
21:52
SPEAKER_02: Raven has these ways of watching stuff.
21:54
SPEAKER_02: And just like he said Breaking Bad, he said it's the best series you've ever seen, ever created.
22:00
SPEAKER_04: It is considered one of the greatest shows ever created.
22:02
SPEAKER_04: Okay, okay.
22:03
SPEAKER_04: Not by me.
22:03
SPEAKER_04: I'm just saying, I think it's up there.
22:05
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it's one of my yeah.
22:06
SPEAKER_02: Well, yeah, well, you you always come to come with good suggestions, and I definitely recommend this movie.
22:12
SPEAKER_02: I I definitely do.
22:13
SPEAKER_02: Yes.
22:14
SPEAKER_02: Uh just have an open mind.
22:16
SPEAKER_02: Um, and also I would encourage you to watch it on the biggest screen possible.
22:20
SPEAKER_02: Yes, I agree.
22:21
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
22:21
SPEAKER_02: Darwin said that yesterday.
22:22
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, like uh he of course, like Darwin stated, and I did yesterday immediately.
22:27
SPEAKER_04: I I bought my IMAX tickets or going Friday.
22:30
SPEAKER_02: So yeah.
22:30
SPEAKER_02: So watch it on the biggest and widest screen.
22:33
SPEAKER_02: Um and Darwin, tell us a little bit about it.
22:34
SPEAKER_03: There isn't like the shooting or like the uh with this movie, they did basically um a different angle.
22:42
SPEAKER_03: Um if you watch it in regular movies, you there's some of them, some scenes are a little bit cut off that you're not able to see the full screen.
22:49
SPEAKER_03: So it's recommended as a 70 millimeter uh yeah, millimeter, right?
22:53
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
22:53
SPEAKER_03: Millimeter screen.
22:55
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's there's not a lot around here in Florida.
22:56
SPEAKER_03: You have to catch someone, but IMAX will do.
22:59
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
22:59
SPEAKER_03: Um so you can get the full experience of that of that movie.
23:04
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
23:04
SPEAKER_04: What's crazy is we're saying about IMA, I don't know if this is true, but someone was saying in the whole country, there's only like 50 or less IMAX theaters.
23:12
SPEAKER_04: Is that true?
23:13
SPEAKER_03: No, no, there's some IMAX theaters everywhere uh that you can see.
23:17
SPEAKER_03: I mean, there's some locations that may not have it, uh, but the 70 millimeter is very, very slim.
23:25
SPEAKER_03: It's very rare, okay.
23:26
SPEAKER_03: It's very rare.
23:27
SPEAKER_03: Like over here, you have to go to Fort Lauderdale down Fort Lauderdale to see it.
23:34
SPEAKER_03: It's like very weird to see to get one of those.
23:36
SPEAKER_03: It's like, damn, do I really need to drive 45 minutes to try to go see a movie?
23:40
SPEAKER_03: Like 70 millimeter.
23:42
SPEAKER_04: So there's different types of iMac.
23:44
SPEAKER_04: It's a different types of iMac.
23:45
SPEAKER_04: Got it.
23:45
SPEAKER_03: The true 70 millimeter like the one that you see go to, the one I told you about the 4DX, that's a different experience.
23:52
SPEAKER_03: So those are you gotta go down there to get that experience.
23:55
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, those are very limited.
23:56
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
23:57
SPEAKER_04: And what's crazy too, like they also were saying I was reading the 70 millimeter, the film itself, like loading that, it's like almost a thousand pounds.
24:05
SPEAKER_04: Wow, it's so heavy, like to look, it's crazy.
24:08
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so I think that's the same type of filming that they did for that centers movie.
24:13
SPEAKER_02: Um, yeah, yeah.
24:15
SPEAKER_02: And that's that that's the thing about that is they said that uh you have a different watching experience if you go watch it on those wider IMAX screen than just the standard one.
24:26
SPEAKER_02: Yes, like it's almost as if you watch a totally different movie.
24:29
SPEAKER_02: So um I'm interested in seeing how you come back and feel about it.
24:33
SPEAKER_02: Um and definitely D said he's gonna uh you you're watching it this weekend, right?
24:37
SPEAKER_03: Uh no, I can't.
24:38
SPEAKER_03: Umfortunately, uh everything is sold out, bro.
24:41
SPEAKER_04: Oh iMacs is sold out, but well, the movie's doing so well.
24:45
SPEAKER_04: Well, I mean you can watch it in regular, but I guess.
24:49
SPEAKER_03: We just had discussion.
24:51
SPEAKER_03: I didn't even try to see the 11 o'clock morning one, and that's also sold out.
24:55
SPEAKER_04: IMAXs are selling out like crazy.
24:57
SPEAKER_03: So yeah, there is, don't get me wrong, there is seats, but it's like scattered.
25:01
SPEAKER_03: It's only I gotta I gotta fit three together.
25:03
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I got you.
25:04
SPEAKER_03: I can't throw popcorn at my son all the way down to the other ones just uh that's funny.
25:11
SPEAKER_02: All right, Raven.
25:11
SPEAKER_02: So what else you got on your list?
25:13
SPEAKER_04: All right, so that is that go watch the Odyssey if you haven't seen it.
25:16
SPEAKER_04: Fantastic movie.
25:17
SPEAKER_04: So my second part of this is um what kind of disgusted me too is Odyssey getting all the hype over the weekend and everything like that.
25:25
SPEAKER_04: Everyone's talking about it, how great it was.
25:27
SPEAKER_04: A trailer came out first thing Monday morning.
25:30
SPEAKER_04: It was about Monday morning I was at work and my coworker hit me up.
25:34
SPEAKER_04: Boom.
25:35
SPEAKER_04: Avengers trailer came out.
25:36
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, Avengers trailer came out.
25:39
SPEAKER_04: Finally, awesome.
25:40
SPEAKER_04: We've been waiting months.
25:41
SPEAKER_04: We heard about the teaser.
25:43
SPEAKER_04: I watched the trailer.
25:44
SPEAKER_04: I'm not gonna lie.
25:45
SPEAKER_04: It kind of left me at meh.
25:48
SPEAKER_02: Meh?
25:49
SPEAKER_04: Yes.
25:49
SPEAKER_02: It's not that long.
25:50
SPEAKER_04: It's not only not that long, but what I want to get to discussion with you guys is CGI.
25:57
SPEAKER_04: After watching Odyssey, Christopher Nolan did not use CGI.
26:02
SPEAKER_04: There's monsters in the movie.
26:04
SPEAKER_04: There are people that are not humans.
26:06
SPEAKER_04: I'm not giving nothing away.
26:07
SPEAKER_03: You're giving that away?
26:08
SPEAKER_04: Did not, okay.
26:09
SPEAKER_04: Everybody knows the Greek mythology.
26:11
SPEAKER_04: Okay, let's just say they're not humans.
26:13
SPEAKER_04: He did not use CGI.
26:15
SPEAKER_02: Interesting.
26:16
SPEAKER_04: He used real people, he used real boats, real water.
26:22
SPEAKER_04: I'm just saying, like after watching the Avengers trailer, it just looks like the CGI type.
26:29
SPEAKER_04: It's just CGI.
26:30
SPEAKER_04: I'm not excited, and I wanted to have this discussion with you guys.
26:32
SPEAKER_04: Don't get me wrong, they're gonna take all my money, I'm gonna go watch Avengers and all that.
26:36
SPEAKER_04: But after watching Odyssey, yeah, it just is like, I mean, you see the fake background, it's like, come on, Disney, you could do a little bit better than that.
26:44
SPEAKER_04: But like Christopher Nolan stands by, he's like, I didn't use no CGI, all real people, all real artifacts.
26:50
SPEAKER_04: He uses real planes, he blows up stuff.
26:52
SPEAKER_04: Like, interesting.
26:53
SPEAKER_04: I'm just saying, like, after watching, I watched it a couple times and I'm like, don't get me wrong, I get it.
26:58
SPEAKER_04: You gotta use, you can't use real lightning for Thor.
27:01
SPEAKER_04: You gotta use, like, I get it, you gotta use CGI, but it just is like I'm not excited, man.
27:06
SPEAKER_04: After watching the Odyssey, like I just wanted to get your take on it.
27:10
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you can see it.
27:10
SPEAKER_03: Let me help you out.
27:11
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I get it.
27:12
SPEAKER_03: You gotta use what part of 260 million didn't you not understand?
27:17
SPEAKER_03: 260 million, right?
27:19
SPEAKER_04: I get that, but like it just like it, I don't know.
27:22
SPEAKER_04: I wanted to have the discussion with you guys on like I'm just passionate about the movie.
27:26
SPEAKER_04: I am it just like I'm just saying, I don't want to watch like, you know what I'm saying?
27:31
SPEAKER_04: Like it's almost like watching content.
27:36
SPEAKER_04: You know, I just want to get a bigger take on you guys on like, am I like going overboard with CGI?
27:41
SPEAKER_04: What do you think, D1?
27:42
SPEAKER_04: What do you think?
27:43
SPEAKER_03: And I get it.
27:43
SPEAKER_03: You always gotta make me go.
27:46
SPEAKER_03: All right, fine.
27:47
SPEAKER_03: What do I think?
27:48
SPEAKER_03: Uh, first of all, number one, uh, you gotta understand for Disney, um, Marvel, it's one of those movies that everybody's gonna watch regardless.
27:57
SPEAKER_03: I get it.
27:58
SPEAKER_03: I get it.
27:58
SPEAKER_03: No matter if CGI or non-CGI, they're gonna watch it.
28:01
SPEAKER_03: It's just again, these movies are mad long.
28:04
SPEAKER_03: Every Marvel movie, you're looking at two and a half plus to watch.
28:09
SPEAKER_03: Uh some people take their time with it, some people don't take their time with it.
28:14
SPEAKER_03: Some people have a quota, some people don't have a quota.
28:17
SPEAKER_03: Some people say I need this shit done by this amount of time, and then we need to launch this week, this month.
28:24
SPEAKER_03: And some of them like, nah, fuck that.
28:25
SPEAKER_03: We're gonna make this shit great, and then we're gonna just launch whenever we get ready to launch.
28:30
SPEAKER_03: That's the difference between Christopher and Marvel.
28:35
SPEAKER_03: You know, you got these guys, millions and millions of dollars who are getting paid, who are just known just for that like Robbie Donnie Jr.
28:46
SPEAKER_03: Everybody knows.
28:47
SPEAKER_03: Yes, Tony Stark.
28:48
SPEAKER_03: You put him in a different movie, nah, that's still a fucking Tony Stark for me.
28:52
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
28:52
SPEAKER_03: You see, you see what I'm saying?
28:54
SPEAKER_03: Matt Damon has done a couple movies with Christopher.
28:58
SPEAKER_03: Actually, now that I think about it, this is the first one, I think.
29:01
SPEAKER_03: Well, is it?
29:02
SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
29:02
SPEAKER_03: Matt Damon has Christopher Nolan has used Matt Demons in several films.
29:08
SPEAKER_03: All right.
29:08
SPEAKER_03: First of all, number one, you know what?
29:10
SPEAKER_04: Oh, yeah, he's always going home.
29:12
SPEAKER_03: Not not that I think about it, he is always like he is always uh uh I think Christopher Nolan, if you really look at it, now that I think about it, Christopher Nolan has spent at least five to six hundred million dollars on Matt Demons trying to get Matt Demon out of a fucking something.
29:31
SPEAKER_03: Uh he did Interstellar, uh he did what The Martian, if I'm not mistaken.
29:36
SPEAKER_03: Um was it the Martian?
29:38
SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
29:38
SPEAKER_02: I don't I don't I don't know names, bro.
29:40
SPEAKER_03: Uh Altenheimer was the first one.
29:42
SPEAKER_04: Oppenheimer, that was with uh Robert Don.
29:44
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, he was in there too.
29:45
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he was in there, yeah.
29:46
SPEAKER_03: He was always in the bind, like they're trying to always get him home, like he said.
29:49
SPEAKER_03: He always trying to get him home.
29:50
SPEAKER_03: Like probably in this movie, he's trying to get him home too.
29:53
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
29:54
SPEAKER_03: Like he has a connection with him, and it seems like that these movies are just phenomenal.
29:59
SPEAKER_03: And then what's his name again?
30:01
SPEAKER_03: Um Zimmer.
30:02
SPEAKER_03: Uh Zimmerman, the uh the the orchestra, is it the orchestra?
30:06
SPEAKER_03: The the symphony guy.
30:07
SPEAKER_03: They're also doing money with that too.
30:09
SPEAKER_03: I mean, uh back to your question.
30:12
SPEAKER_03: It's all about who does it, man.
30:14
SPEAKER_03: I at the end of the day, like Christopher Nolan, you know how my dear Batman, he did a phenomenal job.
30:19
SPEAKER_03: Yes.
30:19
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, spending money on that.
30:21
SPEAKER_04: And my thing is, after watching Odyssey, it makes everything else look like slop.
30:26
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, you heard the term AI slop.
30:28
SPEAKER_04: That's what, like, when I saw the Marvel, I'm like, I wasn't even that excited.
30:32
SPEAKER_02: I'm like, uh, didn't it just didn't even but but I I think the part that that really gets you is is when you when you see the movie and then you know the effort put into the movie.
30:41
SPEAKER_02: Yes, right.
30:42
SPEAKER_02: Like it was like, oh, those are actually real ships.
30:45
SPEAKER_02: Or like, hey, uh the the object that they built, it act they actually had to build it.
30:49
SPEAKER_02: They didn't just build it, yeah.
30:51
SPEAKER_04: It's not like some computer, like they graphics, whatever.
30:54
SPEAKER_04: Like, and I get it, CGI is different from AI.
30:56
SPEAKER_04: Like it's CGI is computer graphics interface, and then I get it, it's cheaper, they can roll out the stuff faster, and it's art, but it just there's something with that how Christopher Nolan does it, the art.
31:08
SPEAKER_04: Like, I want to get your take on it, you know.
31:10
SPEAKER_02: Like, you don't care, or what do you or first off?
31:12
SPEAKER_02: I didn't know that that movie didn't have no CGI.
31:15
SPEAKER_02: Yes.
31:15
SPEAKER_02: Does that how does that change it impresses?
31:18
SPEAKER_02: Yes, doesn't that impress you even more now?
31:19
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it does.
31:20
SPEAKER_02: It's crazy.
31:20
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I didn't know that.
31:21
SPEAKER_02: Yes.
31:22
SPEAKER_02: Um, number two, um, movies with CGI for me, I feel like they're taking the easy way out.
31:27
SPEAKER_01: Of course.
31:27
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's cheaper, it's faster.
31:29
SPEAKER_02: Um, instead of having a guy flip off the top of this building, um, uh, we're just gonna make the computer do it.
31:35
SPEAKER_02: Right.
31:35
SPEAKER_02: Um, and what movies actually for me, like an OHED, the actors actually acting out the parts is actually the part of the movie.
31:43
SPEAKER_02: Right.
31:43
SPEAKER_02: Right.
31:44
SPEAKER_02: Um, or like uh a Jackie Chang that does all his own um uh stunts and stuff like that, or Tom Cruise, right?
31:51
SPEAKER_02: You talk about Mission Impostle, he did all those stunts.
31:53
SPEAKER_02: That makes me more impressed by the quality of the movie.
31:56
SPEAKER_02: I did not know that movie was CGI, that's what I'm saying.
31:59
SPEAKER_02: Um, and Marvels, unfortunately, because they're like they have to.
32:03
SPEAKER_02: I get it.
32:03
SPEAKER_04: Wakanda's not a real place.
32:05
SPEAKER_04: You got to, I get that.
32:07
SPEAKER_04: You gotta use CGI, but I'm just saying, like, it just it just changes it for me, man.
32:12
SPEAKER_04: He said Wakanda's not a real place.
32:14
SPEAKER_04: I get it, man.
32:14
SPEAKER_04: It just I don't know, man.
32:15
SPEAKER_04: I'm like, I'm I feel you though.
32:17
SPEAKER_04: I feel you.
32:18
SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
32:18
SPEAKER_04: Like Christopher Nolan would have found somewhere that looked like Wakanda and like actually films, you know what I'm saying?
32:23
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he just levels.
32:24
SPEAKER_02: I will say, if you think about um like the future that we're moving towards, where eventually we won't actually be mentioning CGI as much as mentioning AI creating movies, is that movies that we know that people actually built it and actually featured in it and it actually was a human in it, right?
32:44
SPEAKER_02: Will do so much better than those that are automatically generated.
32:47
SPEAKER_02: And I think this movie is a great example of that, right?
32:50
SPEAKER_02: And then when you can have a production that I I thought like I'm watching this and I'm thinking this stuff is CGR.
32:55
SPEAKER_02: That's what I'm saying.
32:56
SPEAKER_02: That means they did an amazing job.
32:57
SPEAKER_04: It's crazy.
32:58
SPEAKER_04: Like, I can't wait for you to watch it, Darwin.
32:59
SPEAKER_04: Wow, that's amazing.
33:01
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, so that's that's those are two topics I had.
33:03
SPEAKER_04: So, you know, still gonna watch Avengers, but I'm still gonna be spinning my.
33:09
SPEAKER_04: It's just like, you know, unless they come out with another I'm sh I know this was a teaser trailer and all that, they're gonna come out with another one that's and I'm gonna change my view, but it just I don't know.
33:18
SPEAKER_04: Just have to watch it.
33:20
SPEAKER_03: So Marvel reportedly invested roughly 700 million on Avengers Doomsday.
33:26
SPEAKER_03: 700 million including a production of 400 and marketing campaign over 300 million.
33:34
SPEAKER_03: Two that is for Doomsday.
33:36
SPEAKER_02: Wow.
33:37
SPEAKER_03: Uh Odyssey, like I said, uh 250 million to produce with an additional 125 spent on global marketing and a massive budget budget of 375 million makes Nolan's most expensive movie ever and one of the most uh price R-rated films in history.
33:57
SPEAKER_03: Wow.
33:58
SPEAKER_03: So 250 compared to 700 CGI.
34:02
SPEAKER_02: You pick your what there's no way CGI is supposed to be cheaper.
34:07
SPEAKER_02: Well, you do have to put all the the computer cost in there.
34:10
SPEAKER_02: Wow, Robert Downey.
34:11
SPEAKER_03: Well, you gotta you gotta pay all these uh I get it.
34:14
SPEAKER_04: They got a million people in the movie.
34:15
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I get it.
34:16
SPEAKER_04: Robert Downey's getting like 75 alone.
34:20
SPEAKER_02: Damn.
34:20
SPEAKER_02: 75 alone?
34:22
SPEAKER_02: Yes.
34:22
SPEAKER_02: Wow.
34:23
SPEAKER_02: Wow.
34:23
SPEAKER_02: And and he's he's playing a different character, not his original character.
34:26
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, which is and then the movie it uh shows you how he is transitioned from if you guys didn't know, from Iron Man to Doomsday.
34:36
SPEAKER_02: Ah uh so there's gonna be a part of the they're gonna reveal that in the storyline.
34:44
SPEAKER_03: Interesting.
34:45
SPEAKER_03: Okay, I was curious.
34:46
SPEAKER_03: He's a because Doomsday is able to uh go into different dimensions or something like that.
34:53
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and get the mind of Tony Starks into Doomsday.
34:58
SPEAKER_03: Interesting, yeah.
34:59
SPEAKER_04: I mean, yeah, yeah.
34:59
SPEAKER_04: I watched the trailer a couple times.
35:01
SPEAKER_04: I'm glad they didn't show his face.
35:02
SPEAKER_04: You know, you got a little bit of the voice.
35:03
SPEAKER_04: Steve Rogers is back, you know, you know, so yeah, but like I said, yeah, that's all I wanted to say.
35:10
SPEAKER_02: Roger that.
35:10
SPEAKER_02: Well, Raymond always appreciates your insights.
35:14
SPEAKER_02: No CGI for Raymond, all right.
35:16
SPEAKER_02: I mean, it just hits different after watching Odyssey.
35:18
SPEAKER_03: That's all if you're gonna watch it again, it's definitely hitting different things.
35:22
SPEAKER_03: Thank you for Christopher Nolan and spending my man$150 out of the movie theater.
35:28
SPEAKER_02: So that's why it's breaking billion dollar marks already.
35:31
SPEAKER_02: So um, but yeah, it's it's definitely a good it's an amazing watch.
35:34
SPEAKER_02: And the fact that you mentioned that it wasn't CGI, definitely go watch it.
35:38
SPEAKER_02: Um, but I would watch it in widescreen if it's possible rather than just standard.
35:43
SPEAKER_02: Um, and yeah, let us know in the comments below if you watched a movie.
35:46
SPEAKER_02: If you have some feedback or you want to throw something back at Raymond because he's he's tripping over here about CGI.
35:52
SPEAKER_02: I'm just drop the comments below because I don't know.
35:56
SPEAKER_02: He he said he's he he said he's ready for all the smoke.
35:58
SPEAKER_02: So drop it in there.
35:59
SPEAKER_02: Let him know what you think about CGI smoke, uh, and definitely about Odyssey uh for sure.
36:04
SPEAKER_02: All right, my guy.
36:06
SPEAKER_02: As always, appreciate you so much.
36:08
SPEAKER_02: Um, and look at what we got next.
36:09
SPEAKER_02: Some tech insights.
36:10
SPEAKER_02: We got some more Q up your music, D.
36:12
SPEAKER_02: What we got uh over here in the tech insights.
36:15
SPEAKER_02: Let me see, let me see.
36:15
SPEAKER_02: There we go.
36:16
SPEAKER_02: There goes the old joint.
36:18
SPEAKER_02: Uh so I'm gonna jump on the conversation bag bandwagon here, and we're gonna talk about concerns people have with being late to AI.
36:26
SPEAKER_02: Um, my first question to both of y'all, do y'all feel like uh y'all are late to AI at all?
36:31
SPEAKER_02: When when I say late to AI, do y'all feel feel like y'all late?
36:35
SPEAKER_02: Well, how late are we talking about?
36:37
SPEAKER_02: Just in general, just when somebody says hey, I'm late, um, do you feel like you are late or have you been late to AI?
36:43
SPEAKER_04: I feel a little bit late on getting maybe like the plus plan.
36:46
SPEAKER_04: I finally got the plus plan.
36:48
SPEAKER_04: I was telling Bobby.
36:49
SPEAKER_02: Oh, give him a big round of applause.
36:50
SPEAKER_02: This guy got a plus plan.
36:52
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
36:52
SPEAKER_04: I upgraded Chat GPT, I got the paid plan.
36:55
SPEAKER_02: Oh, so you're spending$20 a month?
36:56
SPEAKER_02: Yes.
36:57
SPEAKER_02: Oh, looking at it.
36:58
SPEAKER_02: Still free 99.
37:02
SPEAKER_02: Thank you guys.
37:03
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so free 99.
37:05
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
37:06
SPEAKER_02: Uh but you you're you're on that plan, but you felt like you've you were late to it?
37:10
SPEAKER_04: Uh yeah, I don't know.
37:11
SPEAKER_04: I was like, yeah, I was like, D.
37:12
SPEAKER_04: I was like, I ain't gonna pay for this.
37:14
SPEAKER_04: And then finally I just like, you know what?
37:16
SPEAKER_04: Let me see if it's and I was getting to the point where it was limiting me.
37:20
SPEAKER_04: It was like, hey, you gotta wait 24 hours, you can't upload more stuff.
37:23
SPEAKER_04: You're using too much.
37:24
SPEAKER_04: I was using too much.
37:25
SPEAKER_04: I was like, all right, so let me get the upgrade.
37:27
SPEAKER_02: So now you're on the$20 away.
37:29
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's good.
37:29
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
37:30
SPEAKER_02: And and you're not hitting those limits anymore.
37:32
SPEAKER_04: I'm not hitting the limits and stuff like that.
37:33
SPEAKER_04: So yeah.
37:34
SPEAKER_02: That's nice, that's nice.
37:35
SPEAKER_03: Free 99 here.
37:36
SPEAKER_02: Free 99.
37:37
SPEAKER_03: 399 here.
37:38
SPEAKER_02: And uh the the reason why I'm bringing it up is I actually got a phone call from an old buddy of mine.
37:41
SPEAKER_02: Big shout out to my guy Norton.
37:43
SPEAKER_02: Give him a big round of applause.
37:44
SPEAKER_02: Uh, Norton and I go way back.
37:46
SPEAKER_02: Uh, we we had worked together at um a company called Cisco Corp, where we used to travel to cruise ships.
37:52
SPEAKER_02: Um, and he was one of my travel guys, he was a technician, he was a uh a senior to me.
37:56
SPEAKER_02: He was there before.
37:58
SPEAKER_02: Um, but one of the things that me and Norton really connected on was learning about Linux.
38:02
SPEAKER_02: You remember I told y'all about a certification I got called RHCE, the Red Hat Certified Engineer.
38:08
SPEAKER_02: Um, and if you don't know, check your boy out.
38:10
SPEAKER_02: I got so much information about those certifications and learning.
38:13
SPEAKER_02: But Chris was the guy that I used to learn and you know use something called CBT Nuggets to study.
38:18
SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
38:19
SPEAKER_02: I remember that.
38:19
SPEAKER_02: You remember C B T Nuggets?
38:20
SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
38:20
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, man.
38:21
SPEAKER_02: And we used to, we he he was the plug for those.
38:23
SPEAKER_02: Um so he called me last night and he was like, yo, um, let's talk about this AI thing because I feel like I'm late to the game.
38:30
SPEAKER_02: And the thing about Norrin is he's he's very technically inclined, so I can really jump into the concept about AI.
38:36
SPEAKER_02: But the thing that was really like um took me back is that he he had like a FOMO, like a feeling I'm missing out.
38:43
SPEAKER_02: Like he he's like, Oh my gosh, man, like tell me everything you know about it because I feel like I'm left behind.
38:48
SPEAKER_02: And I was telling him that I don't think you're left behind, bro.
38:51
SPEAKER_02: I think you you are like at the opportune time to jump into AI, um, but don't feel like you're left behind.
38:58
SPEAKER_02: And I just wanted to know if y'all felt like that or have you heard your co-workers saying that they feel left behind in terms of AI at all.
39:06
SPEAKER_04: Uh questions Is he not using it at all or is he just now?
39:11
SPEAKER_02: So from his uh definition of his use case for AI is just with chat.
39:15
SPEAKER_02: It was like ChatGPT conversation, help me, you know, draft an email or something like that.
39:20
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
39:21
SPEAKER_02: Um and the part that he's really feeling left behind is that leap that we have been talking about in our show, like agentic AI.
39:27
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
39:28
SPEAKER_02: Like AI actually doing things.
39:29
SPEAKER_02: Like, hey, go and build out a website that does X, Y, and Z.
39:33
SPEAKER_02: Or hey, um, help me, you know, book a trip to uh go to Expedia and execute on it.
39:39
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, but I feel like a lot of people are late to that unless you're a techie.
39:42
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
39:43
SPEAKER_02: Am I wrong, or would you say Well, this is the thing that feeling late to it is kind of like, well, I'm just trying to figure out where this word resonates with me.
39:52
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
39:52
SPEAKER_02: Is when I hear somebody say, Hey, I'm late to it, that means everybody's doing it and you just heard about it.
39:57
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
39:58
SPEAKER_02: Uh when you we are talking about what you're saying is like, hey, you feel like it's only for techies.
40:03
SPEAKER_04: No, I'm saying the part of how using it you're explaining it, I feel like that's like for more advanced people.
40:09
SPEAKER_02: More advanced people.
40:10
SPEAKER_02: Or or people who are really into it.
40:12
SPEAKER_02: So more power users, guys.
40:13
SPEAKER_02: Yes.
40:14
SPEAKER_02: All right.
40:14
SPEAKER_02: So um the power user group is really small.
40:18
SPEAKER_04: Okay, right.
40:19
SPEAKER_02: So when I when I hear people say, hey, I'm late to joining the power user group, it's not like everybody's in that group.
40:26
SPEAKER_02: Yes.
40:26
SPEAKER_02: It's not like everybody's using it that way.
40:28
SPEAKER_02: And I'm wondering if uh other people are feeling that same way.
40:31
SPEAKER_02: Like when they learn about agentic AI and they see it, they're like, Oh my gosh, I feel like I'm late, rather than like, oh, um, I've joined a community and now I feel like I've uh finally understand how AI works or could be used.
40:43
SPEAKER_04: Let me try to explain to you the people, the definition of people who are late to it.
40:47
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
40:48
SPEAKER_04: My brother, I try to convince him to use AI.
40:51
SPEAKER_04: I was like, hey man, you can like look up stuff with your girl, pick out dates and plan stuff.
40:56
SPEAKER_04: He's like, I'm not using that.
40:58
SPEAKER_04: That's the devil's technology.
40:59
SPEAKER_04: What?
41:00
SPEAKER_04: He's never kind of won't, won't, won't yeah.
41:02
SPEAKER_04: He's never signed in AI, will not sign it.
41:04
SPEAKER_04: He said it's the devil's technology.
41:06
SPEAKER_04: My sister, not used it, never signed it.
41:09
SPEAKER_04: Those are people who are late to it.
41:10
SPEAKER_02: No, those are people that are late.
41:11
SPEAKER_04: Yes.
41:12
SPEAKER_04: They've never downloaded, they won't sign in, they will never use it.
41:14
SPEAKER_02: Those people are are are late and will continue to be.
41:24
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah.
41:25
SPEAKER_04: It's crazy.
41:26
SPEAKER_04: Like, she came over one time.
41:27
SPEAKER_04: Can I help her write a letter?
41:29
SPEAKER_04: I'm like, you can do this in AI.
41:31
SPEAKER_04: Like, she's terrified.
41:32
SPEAKER_04: So it's I'm done.
41:34
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
41:35
SPEAKER_04: But yeah, so those are the people who are late to it.
41:37
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that that that's what I was feeling like when he was like, Oh, he and like I said, he's he's a techie, so he knows techie stuff.
41:45
SPEAKER_02: Um, and I'm like, bro, you're not late.
41:47
SPEAKER_02: Like the fact that you're actually asking these questions and trying to, you know, dabble into it, um, you the fact that you're talking to me right now means you are already ahead of most people.
41:57
SPEAKER_02: So the the real reason I'm bringing it up, and especially if you watch this show and you've seen our episodes, if you've been watching us for a year, you know we've spent a whole year talking about AI.
42:07
SPEAKER_02: If you listen to this show, you are not late to AI.
42:11
SPEAKER_02: The thing is, you just gotta use it.
42:13
SPEAKER_02: That's the thing that I felt like when he said, Hey, I feel late, is that I'm not using it.
42:17
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that's how I interpreted it.
42:19
SPEAKER_04: You know what I'm saying?
42:19
SPEAKER_02: Like I'm not using it at the level that I found out that that person's using it.
42:23
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you know what I'm saying?
42:24
SPEAKER_02: Um, but those those are like really special cases.
42:28
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
42:28
SPEAKER_04: I want to get to that level that you or another people are at using it like that, booking trips and doing that, yeah, stuff like that.
42:35
SPEAKER_04: I'm not at that level.
42:36
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but but the the other thing that I'm excited about, um, and definitely for our community, is that there's more interest for getting to that level, to the power user level.
42:44
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
42:45
SPEAKER_02: Um, so much so that him and I had actually talked about um potentially doing some like uh workshops or streaming, or what we used to do more like our community meetups type stuff where we could have you know people just demoing what they're working on and seeing.
42:59
SPEAKER_02: Because he he his response was is like, um, hey, I'm trying to go and create this thing.
43:04
SPEAKER_02: Um and it's this website that's gonna do this, that, and this.
43:06
SPEAKER_02: And in my head, I was like, hey, I I I already do that.
43:09
SPEAKER_02: Um, it wouldn't be no more than five or ten minute conversation to see it being done.
43:13
SPEAKER_02: And then he was like, yo, I want to go back to uh getting content like when we you got for CBT Nuggets.
43:19
SPEAKER_02: That's why I brought up CBT Nuggets, is uh the amount of resources out there around that power user level is still really minimum so that people can't close that gap faster sooner.
43:30
SPEAKER_02: Um but if you're here, just letting you know that the tech hustle is the spot to be.
43:35
SPEAKER_02: Um my guy Norton, I can't wait until we're on a conversation.
43:38
SPEAKER_02: We'll be able to bounce ideas and do it in a setting where everybody can ask questions and be a part of the conversation.
43:44
SPEAKER_02: Uh so my TLDR and last line here is um be on the lookout for more updates from the tech hustle around how to use AI as a power user.
43:54
SPEAKER_02: Because now that I got a call from my guy Norton, I know it's time for us to start doing that even more.
44:00
SPEAKER_02: he's he's asking me he's like hey bobby let's do some more of this type of development um um and learning and commit learning learning and what do they call it uh uh learning in public that's what he was saying hey he wants to do some more learning in public so um definitely and and it also sounds like you have some interest and I know D is always looking to level up um is we potentially will you know start to do some streaming we've always been talking about it we've already done the community thing we can re-kick that off uh but just know that you are not late the tech hustle is one of those resources I want to encourage you to depend on what we'll happen at for me what did he say the double part of part that's part of talk to me about your brother bro we gotta come back but yeah yeah I'm good shout out to my brother so but yeah he was trying to be so professional is not like I see a big green I've been trying to encourage him to me about this double thing here so I've been trying to tell encourage him to use a uh like some of some things he asked me how to do and things of that nature I'm like look it's a really cool tool you can plan dates for your girl you can research things you can do this and he's like I want nothing to do with that that's the devil's technology I said what does he go to church no he doesn't listens to hardcore rap and all this other stuff and he's rec but he wants he's watching a lot of water boy but there are people like that that feel like him though yeah I mean it was almost the same thing when the internet came out you remember the internet the devil this is my mind scrolling do you think that these spam slash uh hackers corrupted his mind into that so maybe he's thinking that that's part of why he's not able that he doesn't want to use it because of being scammed or or or afraid of being scammed I I don't know like he's on the internet a lot more than me like he lives on social media so I don't know maybe it could be maybe it could be something he saw on the internet that has changed his view to think that I've been trying to change it I'm like encouraging him but he wants nothing to do with it.
46:12
SPEAKER_03: Yeah so him or my sister they're never gonna use it but I then let me tell you so you're the one who's using it for them then I don't use it for them I'm trying to encourage them to use it for themselves.
46:22
SPEAKER_03: I already see them calling you already called me but I try to do this help me do that they do but I try to tell them you could do this with AI like one of them like you know I'm not gonna tell you who like had to write a letter up and I'm like like I just went in and did it in AI I'm like look you can do this in AI and yeah yeah okay so only you can drink that juice it's just crazy so why don't you say hey God send me this turn the table on the table on the oh man that's cool but yeah that's yeah those are the people who are like yeah yeah so yeah that's crazy man plus I always feel like it's like um whenever um it gets to that point um it's always uh a a misunderstanding of what the technology is because there was people that love the or thought the internet was the devil and now the internet runs the world so but you know there's a whole anti-AI thing out there too oh yeah there's absolutely a lot of protests and stuff people don't like it and so you know well if you do want to learn more if you don't think that the the AI is the devil and you need some support developing the school I mean developing your actual skill set follow the tech hustle on YouTube we're gonna be doing even more content keep an eye out on us on all platforms including TikTok we'll talk a little bit more about TikTok uh but in general uh just know that we have some more insights around how to use AI at a power user level demon tech that that that that's what the intro should be God dude yeah god that's what I'm trying to get yeah no doubt all right my guy uh d hustle's coming up um I think the the next section is uh is this the sports center section let me see let me see yeah it looks like go ahead my guy you you queuing it up oh he wanted that uh skill intro we got my guy d Hustle with tech turn oh the tech hustle sports center can y'all hear me nice and clear I thought he was gonna use a commercial um all right good morning good evening good afternoon ladies and gentlemen beautiful day today in the Sunshine State Florida it is hot as uh as Raymond says uh as Africa over here Africa hot Africa hot Africa hot uh this is where I start talking about sports and letting you know what's going on in the world don't have too much time ladies and gentlemen so I'm gonna go ahead and speed this up as quickly as possible WMBA is going on right now if you're not watching WEA Minnesota links are number one in the seed right now 21 and 6 taking care of business Las Vegas aces are second place 18 to seven golden state Valkyries are 19 and 8 and they're so on and so on.

52:02
SPEAKER_03: What's that?
52:03
SPEAKER_03: I'm talking about FIFA you guys have not seen Argentina and Spain the one and only Spain shout out to Spain for that situation there Argentina and the GOAT debate for Messi has been out but at the end of the day hey listen Messi made it to the playoffs to the championship and unfortunately he came up short uh shout out to those young young team yeah uh in Spain actually I was watching the game I got invited to somebody's house I really don't watch soccer like that but listen the food was fucking phenomenal he's going next year or in the next four years I had some bro I had ribs lamb wow I had steak I had chicken wings bro there was so many meat I don't know I thought I was at a Brazilian steak house for a minute ladies and gentlemen I felt really really good shout out to Goku and family yours phenomenal but anyway back to Spain I can ask the question did you have to pay for parking no I did not actually I saved those three dollars and I bought some bag of chips at the end of the day you even brought something my God my god did they have vegetables in here they have vegetables too okay they had vegetables and nobody touched the salad so just want to let you know that was Argentina more of an Argentinian party no no no it was a Dominican party wow uh Dominican his wife was Colombian um and uh she was rooting for Argentina uh uh me I was just there for good company and good food and the good food and the good food wow uh but yeah I watched the game and um Argentina was not doing nothing at all to tell you the truth uh they were more defending than anything uh but that's the way Argentina plays ladies and gentlemen if you guys don't watch Argentina Argentina for the whole entire series were not uh it's a defensive team and then decides to play like in the last 20 minutes and that's what they want to play.
53:56
SPEAKER_03: Unfortunately that strategy did not work out very well for them even though they got a red card and there was one player short at the end of the day my guy took victory it is what it is.
54:08
SPEAKER_03: Yeah W uh oh comments questions concerns I'm sorry congrats to Spain like D Hussel said they were just holding on for dear life trying to get to the penalties yeah yeah they just that's what it seemed like it's that's what everyone was doing they literally were just holding on yeah to get the penalties but yeah Spain was just too good yeah but shout out to their goalkeeper though Argentina you know what yeah that guy was a freaking beast round that boy was not even that that boy's an animal I think he man maybe had like 20 shots he was a brick wall other than that boring game but he was good but yeah they but shout out to Spain though shout out to them over there shout out to that goalie at Al Jen I I think he could have got that stop but he went down instead of scoring yeah at the end of the day it is what it is a shout out good win over there uh WWE ladies and gentlemen if you guys not seen seems like uh the champs uh if you guys don't know who the champs are that is the New York Knicks are over there showing love for uh WWE in there trying to what they're doing like a world tour now he's gonna wrestle how you feel about that Anthony Roman Reigns has one uh they got the little nice little uh uh Roman Reigns BCM punk in the main event and wrestling with Carl Anthony's hand and then that bum Trey Young trying to uh rip up uh oh that was fun Jalen Brunson's jersey uh you can see that's crony ass best nobody really fucking likes your that's why he got traded from the Hawks all the way to Washington but anyway hilarious how he couldn't rip the jersey so funny stunt the guy was the guy was strange I think he almost constipated the lights are on him bro I love that rivalry though how he hates the Knicks yeah I don't want to stand out of all jerseys uh you know he wanted Brunson but Brunson was winning against Roman Reigns and unfortunately they couldn't figure it out shout out to the lady champs uh Rhea Ripley handling the business there WWE Women's World Champ history uh Liv Morgan handling those business and then the tag team championship uh division taking care of business and then Damon Priest and our truth tag team WWE uh champions and then women's tag team champions fatal influence taking care of business lovely lovely ladies over there good shout out to them I wonder why you only know them you have them lovely lovely ladies WWE Intercontinental Champion history Pensa taking care of business women's intercontinental champion soul rucker handling business WWE United States champion history trick Williams handling business and women's United States champion uh Tiffany Strayton and that's all I have for WWE so shout out to those people and FL ladies and gentlemen close getting ready for NFL if you guys are not seeing it let me know people already calling me up for their fantasy if you guys need an extra player please invite D hustle holl at me I I accept all type of plays uh any league and there if you need an extra player Raymond holler at your boy don't be scared are they already reaching out to you Raymond nah not yet which is shocking yeah um they already reached I already got one and that was um main and family uh I got the belt so I just want to let you know that uh champion belt here I gotta defend it I was gonna retire the same year but I said you know what the same year he got he retired I didn't want to bring it out but listen at the end of the day NFL's out uh a lot a lot of stuff going on in uh football if you guys are not looking uh what's going on let's see what happens uh what you was gonna say something no I was gonna say Bobby's brother is into fantasy football he should do like a tech hustle league or something every time I ask him he's uh he doesn't have nobody or he's something always I do got to hit him up about it because he he he didn't mention it yet but I know this is the time I always mention the shit like a month two months in advance can't hear that I didn't know fuck that two months in advance a month in advance I'm letting you trying to Raymond yeah boy I love fantasy we can do a fantasy you know what tech hustle fantasy football I got I can get Brandy in there that's four I can get main that's five me you your brother Manny yeah let's yeah let's make it happen if y'all interested in joining the tech hustle fantasy football drop it in the comments below we'll take maybe one or two external because we we got it we got a good squad how many people do we need at least 10 at least 10 to make a good competitive make a competitive I mean 12 that'd be great because not a lot of players are left in the bench and we get to pick them up but 10 is usually fine.
58:45
SPEAKER_03: Eight is just in case of an emergency we can't figure out which is good because it leaves a lot of players and be able to flip-flop and stuff like that.
58:52
SPEAKER_02: But what platform are you using?
58:54
SPEAKER_03: Because last year y'all was tripping well uh one league I use Yahoo which is I I like the only reason I like the Yahoo is because I'm able to see the games on the Yahoo website the other one that I'm using of course is going to be um what's the one what's what the one that we everybody used ESPN ESPN that's what I use and then the other one I use is that was the one from last year.
59:16
SPEAKER_02: I remember there was a brand new one that you were talking about.
59:18
SPEAKER_03: Yeah there's the one that I've uh sleeper sleeper sleeper is the other one that I use uh that one I'm not a big fan of but hey it is what it is that's the one the guys like it I got invited to it so I can't say it don't matter what the chord is not a I'm always uh I just can't get it no matter how many years I play on it it's just I can't get it right I can't get it right but it is that's why they call me can't get right on that league so it is what it is uh major league baseball ladies and gentlemen baseball is going on right now if you guys are not watching the baseball baseball you're gonna see it is the one that everybody called the boring game it's on television so let's see if we can get you out Tampa Bay taking care of business New York number two the central white sox are playing phenomenal there and Kansas City all the way down at Porsche Climb Swiss shout out to over there you guys all the way down on the bottom but don't be alert my team is right next to you guys so we have a lot of stuff in common uh let's go to the west side Seattle doing good Texas and and then those fucking cheaters Houston Astros all the right down in the bottom but that was a few years they cheated bro yeah but it still holds their league uh national league Atlanta is just just killing it bro they over there Philadelphia number two Miami number three playing phenomenal baseball but they are losing watch feel real good about it uh because they lost seven games straight so hey it is what it is still hold third place still hold third place Washington right on there and then the famous fucking nuts hey can be in New York can't win them all uh but at the end of the day we still got the Knicks to hold on to I'm still on vacation uh central Milwaukee's doing good Chicago that's everybody in New York and then number one the the the the Dodgers is just yeah they're killing it they are killing it but I see Milwaukee and Brewers uh gonna be next to each other they're gonna that's Milwaukee and uh Los Angeles Dodgers is the game that I want to see together at the the championship or not championship but at the you know the finals semi finals for them so that's gonna be a good game and then last but not least ladies and gentlemen NBA NBA is going on there is a lot a lot of movement I don't know if you guys know Mavs match next two way for uh beautiful FPR um Giannis is having a great time in Miami doing the great work out there uh Cooper Flag handling business over there uh the diva still haven't figured out what team he wants to play for who you talking about uh that's LeBum James uh and then uh I mean he might come back to the Lakers if he don't find nobody right no Lakers don't even fucking want that game so he can't go back he can't go back they don't want that he is out the only person that's a Lakers is the the other James that I don't even know how the fuck he made a contract with the Lakers but hey they must see something that we don't see jersey sales uh I don't know we gotta ask somebody in the left hand side of me maybe they have something what do you think uh I have no comments wow no comments I don't understand either why he's still there so wow yeah but um he said he's he doesn't understand I have two yeah when you're done I got two things MG first one is God I had a brain fart rehash my brain or memory on who did we all pick again on what I was gonna pick Cleveland but he picked Cleveland Swedish no no no no no I picked Miami I'm sorry uh I picked Golden State um and then I guess I picked Cleveland yeah I think I'm feeling like he's going to Miami yeah I I I I was just waiting for the announcer I'm just more and more I'm thinking he's gonna go to Miami.
1:02:57
SPEAKER_03: I saw a report the other day I was just I thought it was announcing yeah every there's a lot of fake reports every day I get these fake reports coming out like oh he's going here I was just about to text on group chat um because I was like damn what was it that we picked again so okay so you pick Miami I'm Cleveland and then D hustle yeah I I personally if you're gonna go why not go where you start at which will be Cleveland yeah yeah and and call call it quits then call it quits yeah but Giannis is calling for my for LeBron he's begging for LeBron he's he's calling for a championship he wants to be in the running I mean he wants I I I guess well we don't know I at the end of the day we don't even know if Giannis gonna be completely healthy because he'd be on the bench yeah so he's not the same play as again LeBron is not going to take a bench row so we're gonna figure out what I mean you're not getting the top dollars and stuff like that how is he taking claim for that I have no idea he doesn't want he's not Jordan at the end of the day when Jordan came back from a basketball to play for the Wizards he took a$2 million deal at the end of the day two years.
1:04:00
SPEAKER_02: One million dollar each year and he donated both his proceeds out wow he didn't even take the money he didn't even take the money LeBron can never he's like I gotta cash that he was like I I'll make the donation send it to me and then I'll donate it.
1:04:15
SPEAKER_03: Yeah and you saw what his uh agent said it will take as long as it takes yeah that's the thing uh for real uh who the fuck takes this long yeah come on man you had the whole entire off season to figure out where the fuck you want to go come on man you've been in the fucking bench god knows how long since you lost since the what the beginning of the uh the championship was in January you've been out of it since May June July we're about to be in August and we can't make a decision do you think he's he's strong enough here's the thing that gets me confused Adam Silver saying LeBron needs to hurry up and make a decision because we need to make a schedule I don't understand why the fuck do we need a way for one person to make the schedule like we need who gives a fuck if he if he plays in in Christmas or not like I don't care that's true.
1:05:21
SPEAKER_04: It's very disrespectful to the Knicks who just won the chip like you should be focused on like you know when they're gonna play on Christmas or whatever.
1:05:30
SPEAKER_03: It is very disrespectful I will say I don't understand is it because he's trying to make a farewell goodbye is this is last year because yeah every team that he goes to he has to make a big humongous announcement why I I just need to know why if somebody can shut me up and let me know why I I won't say anything anymore.
1:05:50
SPEAKER_03: I don't know about that darwin I won't say anything no more about about the decision making if you would if you would have told me hey you No, I am choosing between four at least we can know what four teams are.
1:06:05
SPEAKER_04: It is down to three, he said.
1:06:07
SPEAKER_04: But he didn't say what three.
1:06:09
SPEAKER_04: Well, I mean it said it's Cleveland, Miami, and I don't remember what the third team was.
1:06:14
SPEAKER_04: So it's down to three teams.
1:06:16
SPEAKER_04: Interesting.
1:06:16
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
1:06:17
SPEAKER_04: Cleveland, Miami, and I don't know who the third one is.
1:06:20
SPEAKER_02: I mean, it it's looking more promising that I'm gonna win this bet.
1:06:23
SPEAKER_04: So yeah, it looks like just where do you want to go to lunch, basically, or whatever.
1:06:27
SPEAKER_04: Okay.
1:06:28
SPEAKER_03: Let me know where you want to go.
1:06:30
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I'm like concealing.
1:06:32
SPEAKER_02: Because y'all remember, y'all can rewind the tapes if you want to.
1:06:35
SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna get my.
1:06:36
SPEAKER_03: I remember as the end of the day, he said uh Miami.
1:06:39
SPEAKER_03: Yes.
1:06:39
SPEAKER_03: I said Golden State.
1:06:41
SPEAKER_03: He said Cleveland.
1:06:42
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
1:06:42
SPEAKER_03: I I really thought he was gonna pick somebody else besides Cleveland.
1:06:46
SPEAKER_03: I think you would who who you were really going for?
1:06:48
SPEAKER_04: I was you said Golden State.
1:06:50
SPEAKER_04: I said Golden State.
1:06:51
SPEAKER_04: I wanted Golden State.
1:06:52
SPEAKER_04: I was thinking Golden State, and then I just changed it to Cleveland, yeah.
1:06:59
SPEAKER_04: Minnesota?
1:06:59
SPEAKER_04: Because Minnesota was like they were interested, but now it doesn't seem like they're interested anymore.
1:07:03
SPEAKER_03: Oh, because Ant-Man said come over here and play.
1:07:06
SPEAKER_03: He did say that?
1:07:06
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
1:07:07
SPEAKER_04: Okay.
1:07:07
SPEAKER_02: I mean, they're all in the run for the ring, so they're just trying to get whatever they can out of it.
1:07:11
SPEAKER_04: That'd be a crazy squad.
1:07:13
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
1:07:14
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
1:07:14
SPEAKER_02: Well, we'll see him in Miami chilling in South Beach.
1:07:16
SPEAKER_04: Um, my last thing is, did you guys see that video where they're calling Kevin Durant racist?
1:07:21
SPEAKER_02: Oh, because he didn't dab the the Argentina fans or players up?
1:07:24
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, did you see that?
1:07:25
SPEAKER_02: Is that real or is that AI?
1:07:26
SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
1:07:27
SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
1:07:28
SPEAKER_02: Did you see it, Dorian?
1:07:31
SPEAKER_02: I thought it was real.
1:07:32
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
1:07:32
SPEAKER_02: Um, how did I feel about it?
1:07:35
SPEAKER_02: It is what it is.
1:07:36
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
1:07:37
SPEAKER_03: He was supposed to dab the Argentina players?
1:07:39
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so he kind of when he walked in, so he's walking in to get to the other side, right?
1:07:43
SPEAKER_02: And instead of walking in the front to kind of dap everybody up, he walks behind them and then walks in front of his people to dap them up.
1:07:51
SPEAKER_02: Who's his people?
1:07:52
SPEAKER_02: Um, there were uh Spain players.
1:07:55
SPEAKER_02: They were?
1:07:56
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
1:07:56
SPEAKER_02: I thought there was like black people, they made it seem like he's there was definitely more black people over there, right?
1:08:00
SPEAKER_02: But yeah, I think it was some Spain players or some players that he didn't even dap up uh Tom Brady.
1:08:05
SPEAKER_02: Like he went around, didn't even dap up Tom Brady.
1:08:07
SPEAKER_04: That's what they're saying is Kevin Durant racist because he like skipped all the white people and he dapped all the brown and black people.
1:08:14
SPEAKER_04: I think they're reaching.
1:08:15
SPEAKER_04: I'm just saying, is it real or is it AI?
1:08:18
SPEAKER_04: But you know what reminded me of?
1:08:19
SPEAKER_04: Remember the key and peel video where the Obama that's what it reminded me of.
1:08:23
SPEAKER_04: I'm like, that's what I was like, is this real or is this you know, because I was like laughing my ass off.
1:08:28
SPEAKER_02: So I I will say uh that Argentina is known for being a little too um leaning to that side.
1:08:36
SPEAKER_02: Yes.
1:08:37
SPEAKER_02: Uh so if he felt some type of way to make a statement, I could see him doing that in that moment.
1:08:41
SPEAKER_02: Okay, I wouldn't definitely feel obviously I'm black, so I wouldn't have to fake.
1:08:47
SPEAKER_02: There's no way he did that.
1:08:48
SPEAKER_04: He didn't even dap up Brady.
1:08:49
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
1:08:50
SPEAKER_02: That's what I'm trying to say.
1:08:51
SPEAKER_02: That he was walking over and he decided to go behind and then come back around into his rather than walking in the front.
1:08:57
SPEAKER_02: I could see that avoiding that.
1:08:59
SPEAKER_02: Uh, but I don't know.
1:09:00
SPEAKER_02: You gotta you gotta ask KD.
1:09:02
SPEAKER_04: Okay.
1:09:02
SPEAKER_04: All right.
1:09:03
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I can't trust anything now.
1:09:05
SPEAKER_04: So it's the devil.
1:09:07
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it's the devil's the devil's tech.
1:09:09
SPEAKER_04: It's CGI, it's demon tech.
1:09:12
SPEAKER_02: It's CGI, AI, and the demon tech.
1:09:15
SPEAKER_02: That's wild.
1:09:15
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
1:09:16
SPEAKER_02: That's wild.
1:09:16
SPEAKER_02: Oh, one one other thing just to throw out there, um, and and I I don't have reporting on it, but I definitely heard y'all talk about it is ESPN had some layoffs.
1:09:25
SPEAKER_02: Did you hear about that too, D?
1:09:26
SPEAKER_02: No, I haven't.
1:09:27
SPEAKER_02: So what happened, Raymond?
1:09:28
SPEAKER_04: Yesterday, um, ESPN, this is really messed up what they did.
1:09:31
SPEAKER_04: Obviously, I I get it.
1:09:33
SPEAKER_04: Everybody gets fired, right?
1:09:34
SPEAKER_04: We've all been fired or laid off.
1:09:36
SPEAKER_04: ESPN did some layoffs yesterday, and one of the prominent people they laid off was um God, Ryan Clark.
1:09:44
SPEAKER_02: Ryan Clark, yeah, I heard that.
1:09:45
SPEAKER_04: Sometimes he has some very controversial views that people don't like.
1:09:49
SPEAKER_04: They feel like he brings race a lot.
1:09:50
SPEAKER_04: But what ESPN did was very messed up, I felt like, is Ryan Clark was live on air doing NFL live.
1:09:57
SPEAKER_04: And you remember how, like, you know, they remember when the towers and they leaned over to uh President Bush and was whispering in his ear?
1:10:04
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah.
1:10:04
SPEAKER_04: They fired this man while he was live on TV doing an NFL live chat.
1:10:08
SPEAKER_02: That's crazy.
1:10:09
SPEAKER_04: That's like disgraceful.
1:10:10
SPEAKER_04: ESPN.
1:10:10
SPEAKER_04: Why couldn't they just wait?
1:10:11
SPEAKER_04: That's what I'm saying.
1:10:12
SPEAKER_04: It's it's okay to fire me, but you you can't wait until the shift is over.
1:10:18
SPEAKER_04: You gotta do it on in the middle of the air while he was doing like an NFL segment.
1:10:22
SPEAKER_04: He got fired, and then Cam Newton got laid off as well.
1:10:25
SPEAKER_02: Cam Newton got laid off?
1:10:26
SPEAKER_02: Cam Newton got off laid off.
1:10:28
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, he was on ESPN, he was on first take.
1:10:30
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah.
1:10:30
SPEAKER_04: So, and then a bunch of other people which you know I don't really know them.
1:10:33
SPEAKER_04: But Stephen A.
1:10:34
SPEAKER_03: Smith still there.
1:10:35
SPEAKER_03: I mean, you know, but get this.
1:10:37
SPEAKER_04: What's the other guy that has the show that does the college football, he does the other stuff?
1:10:41
SPEAKER_04: The white guy.
1:10:43
SPEAKER_03: Uh oh, uh, I know who you're talking about.
1:10:45
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
1:10:45
SPEAKER_04: Um he used to be a kicker.
1:10:48
unknown: God.
1:10:48
SPEAKER_03: He's on ESPN.
1:10:50
SPEAKER_03: I don't know, bro.
1:10:50
SPEAKER_03: I don't mind.
1:10:52
SPEAKER_03: He talks a lot of uh a lot of shit.
1:10:54
SPEAKER_03: He had the interview with LeBron and all that.
1:10:56
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
1:10:57
SPEAKER_04: They did the layoffs and ESPN just announced that he is going to be paid now 60 million a year.
1:11:03
SPEAKER_04: 60 million a year?
1:11:04
SPEAKER_04: Yes.
1:11:05
SPEAKER_04: Laid off my guy Ryan Clark, laid off Cam Newton.
1:11:08
SPEAKER_04: But is that his name?
1:11:10
SPEAKER_04: No, it's the guy he has his freaking show.
1:11:12
SPEAKER_04: He's always standing up.
1:11:13
SPEAKER_02: No, I don't know.
1:11:14
SPEAKER_02: Ah, Darwin knows his name.
1:11:15
SPEAKER_02: Anyways, but they gave him a raise?
1:11:17
SPEAKER_04: He gave him a raise.
1:11:18
SPEAKER_04: He's now going to get 60 million a year.
1:11:20
SPEAKER_02: Pat McGrath.
1:11:20
SPEAKER_02: Pat McAfee.
1:11:23
SPEAKER_04: Yes.
1:11:23
SPEAKER_04: So disgraceful.
1:11:25
SPEAKER_02: So who owns ESPN?
1:11:26
SPEAKER_04: Disney.
1:11:27
SPEAKER_02: Disney.
1:11:28
SPEAKER_02: Disney owned ESPN?
1:11:29
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
1:11:30
SPEAKER_04: So.
1:11:31
SPEAKER_03: What there's a shakeup over there?
1:11:32
SPEAKER_03: No, it's they're always going EPS.
1:11:34
SPEAKER_03: They're always doing layoffs.
1:11:35
SPEAKER_03: The only reason I know they're own ESPN because when I go to my fantasy at Disney, I'm like, what the fuck is going on here?
1:11:41
SPEAKER_02: Disney's like, you're gonna get this branding if you want it or not.
1:11:44
SPEAKER_02: But dang, man.
1:11:46
SPEAKER_02: But yeah, that's that's definitely messed up laying off my guy like that.
1:11:49
SPEAKER_02: Uh y'all could have waited until the end of the show.
1:11:51
SPEAKER_02: Like, come on now.
1:11:52
SPEAKER_03: It's like would have cursed a whole bunch of people out.
1:11:55
SPEAKER_02: He walked off the show, I believe.
1:11:56
SPEAKER_02: Didn't he walk off the middle of the show?
1:11:59
SPEAKER_02: I heard it on the radio this morning, but I think he walked off the show afterwards.
1:12:02
SPEAKER_02: Disgusting.
1:12:02
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, why would I continue working if you're gonna find me right here?
1:12:05
SPEAKER_03: And then while I'm talking, you guys are gonna talk, right?
1:12:08
SPEAKER_03: That's crazy to me.
1:12:08
SPEAKER_03: That's crazy talk.
1:12:09
SPEAKER_03: It's disrespectful.
